Brother dearest.  ... Been awhile, hasn't it, Bro?  A little antsy?  Wondering when the next shoe is about to fall, that is, when you'll be fully exposed for the thieving son of a bitch you truly are?  Patience.  All in good time, good buddy.  When I'm damned good and ready.  Timing just right.  After all, a son of a bitch who's stolen his father's estate needs to be fully exposed publicly for whom and what he is, don't you think?  Indeed, a public service for your neighbors, professional associates, family, and friends, etc..

Conveniently, forget?  Others need to protect themselves against a fraud who masquerades as both a teacher and a counselor, no?  -- How the hell did you ever pass an MMPI some forty years ago to get hired?  You're not stable.  Have not been.  ... Must have really been pissed off at the old man to rip off an estate, no?  How much did you steal while he was alive and supposedly under your care?

How much did you bribe law enforcement to ignore a complaint I filed with them years before the old man died?  How much did you bribe the prosecutor to ignore a complaint filed with her several years ago?  How much?  Use the old man's money to bribe the bitch?  Her cohorts?  Your law enforcement shysters?  While there may indeed be no justice from a corrupt system, fortunately, I do have a way to publicly expose you for the goddamned thieving son of a bitch you truly are.

... Unlike our grandmother who scrubbed floors on her hands and knees during the Depression for peanuts, only to have what little she had stolen by her son, our uncle, another goddamned thieving son of a bitch just like you.  Remember how, surprise, surprise, there was no life insurance when our grandfather died?  Despite the fact our grandmother gave her thieving bastard son premium money year after goddamned year?  Only, as the thieving son of a bitch he truly was, to have pocketed it.  Again, just like you.

Remember when he booted her out of the house she had bought him when he had had enough of her?  -- Despite the fact he had lied and promised she could stay the rest of her life?  She had to climb two flights of stairs on an ulcerated leg to get to a bathroom he had never built for her at ground level as falsely promised.   Nothing ever happened to the thieving son of a bitch as far as justice was concerned.  Worse, he was never exposed publicly for the thieving son of a bitch he truly was.

Will be different for you, Bro.  While you've bought off authorities, you will be publicly exposed.  In great detail.  In good time.  When I'm damned good and ready.  When exposure will do the maximum figurative damage to your goddamned sordid reputation.  -- Just the truth, brother dearest, however.  Just the truth.

Irony of ironies?  When the thieving son of a bitch died, and our mother was finally informed he had passed, she cried for her brother, -- the bastard thief who stole from her mother.  Sad, isn't it?  Too bad she's not still alive to see you publicly exposed for the goddamned thieving son of a bitch you, yourself, truly are.  As was he.  Not in a court of law you've bought off, however.  Right here.

In good time.  Again, when I'm damned good and ready.  Employing the very same tactics used against Amanda Wright of Wells Fargo.  -- On steroids, however, since all dirty family laundry will be aired.  All of it.  No threat.  A promise.  Emails sent to your neighbors, friends, professional associates, businesses you deal with.  Although an enormous amount of work, all doable courtesy of the Internet.  Despite being some 1,800 miles away.  -- Small world, isn't it, Bro?  Enjoy the stolen loot, you son of a bitch.  Forget?  It's all you have.

Brother dearest.  Save all the check stubs from the old man's accounts?  Fraudulently sign any of them yourself?  Think this material couldn't be obtained from the banks either through discovery or a criminal investigation?  Still own the house on Condict Rd.?   Any other properties besides this one and the old man's you stole with the help of your shyster bastard? Be interesting to see how far your assets extend and where.  Think all that information isn't accessible?  That I won't determinedly obtain it?

That not only an extensive Internet search will be conducted that will likely take months to complete?  But an extensive background check as well?  Think the Catholic high school you attended shouldn't be informed of the thievery of one of its graduates?  Think the clerics there would be appalled at their failure to teach you right from wrong?  How about both universities?  Think neighbors in the old man's neighborhood won't be informed of your deception?  Think they don't have a right to know?

Ever follow the advice of Dr. Bert Wiser, psychological statistics professor at MSU?  That is, get treatment for your achingly debilitating instability?  Is that why you wound up looting the old man?  Or, is it simply a convenient excuse you'll use to defend the indefensible?  Think this will end any time soon?  That is, public exposure of you as a thieving son of a bitch?  We're just getting started, Bro.  Just getting started.

Don't like it?  Tough shit.  Sue me you thieving son of a bitch.  Would use discovery to learn and post on this website all there is to know about you, your activities, predilections, business 'deals,' as well as all your financial transactions, etc..  All of it.  Would certainly avoid the expense of an extensive background check on you, thieving brother dearest.

Even if you were successful in court, there is nothing for you to take, this remains, as well, a homesteading state where minimal assets are protected anyway.  This site is hosted in an overseas country that doesn't particularly like government intrusion, remains not prone to cooperate.  Besides, can always upload to another webhost in still yet another country.  The possibilities are endless, Bro.  Just takes willingness, effort, unshakable determination.

Even if I lost it all would be more than worth it to expose you for the goddamned thieving son of a bitch you truly are.  Even if you bribed a goddamned nazi 'judge' to remove posted material, would not cooperate and be more than willing to rot in jail.  Would certainly keep reposting it all no matter the cost and/or personal consequences every time it was taken down.  Forget, you thieving son of a bitch?  I never ever give up.

Since all I seek is your exposure for the thief you truly are, would all be worth it.  For the sake of principle.  All the work, financial cost, as well as the time I am about to dedicate to this effort, you deceptive, unstable, sick, thieving son of a bitch.  Unlike you, I live on principle and have absolutely nothing to lose.  You do.  Will certainly take great pleasure and satisfaction in doing all I can to publicly expose you for whom and what you are.

To say nothing of placing enormous pressure on prosecutors you and your equally corrupt shyster son of a bitch apparently bribed.  Don't like it?  Again, tough shit. Chew harder.  The public needs to know to protect itself.  From you and your shyster bastard.  People who live and travel in your circles as well.  Including his.  As a thief, you and he can't be trusted by anyone.  You'll determinedly f--k them.

More than willing to provide this truly public service.  People certainly need to know whom and what you are.  What you have sadly become.  You certainly weren't brought up to be a thieving son of a bitch.  What happened?  Where did you lose yourself, Bro?  -- Never mind.  ... Truly doesn't matter.  Only your exposure.

TC 4-22-16

Hey, Bro?  Remember me?  How soon they conveniently forget.  ... Half asleep? -- Out to lunch?  ... In your own perverse little world?  That of a criminal?  Wake up.  Conveniently, gutlessly forget?  Insanely believe you're someway, somehow off the hook?  Think again.  We're not done.  You remain a thief who will be exposed for whom and what your are.  What you certainly have become.  No question about that.  Patience, you thieving son of a bitch.  Exposure is coming.  Promise.

Think I don't have time?  Truly believe the ongoing Presidential fiasco ends no matter who wins?  The murderous decay in law enforcement gets resolved any time soon?  Criminal Wells Fargo employees from local Kingsland bank manager Amanda S. Wright right up to and including CEO John Stumpf get prosecuted in the near future despite egregious criminal activity?  Wouldn't hold my breath, would you?

Think I don't have time to handle all this and your public exposure for the estate-stealing criminal son of a bitch you've truly become?  How could you steal from the old bastard, you incredibly sad sack of shit?  Certainly weren't brought up to be a thief.  What happened to you?  Where'd you lose yourself?

No question, 2017 will be a most remarkable, defining year for you, Bro.  Public exposure for the thieving piece of shit you've sadly become.  It's on the way. Promise.  Hope you sue.  Nothing for you to take.  Tough, isn't it?  Certainly, makes me judgment proof.  Will certainly, as well, take advantage of discovery.  Publish every detail I can get my hands on.  No matter the consequences.  Only consideration?  Prime directive?  Your exposure for whom and what you are.

Readers?  This not-so-brotherly piece of shit stole from our father.  Manipulated the old man to line his pockets.  Just like our uncle on my mother's side of the family did to my grandmother.  Runs in the family.  Our family.   ... Right, Bro?  This game now gets played my way, -- not yours, you son of a bitch.  That is, no more U.S. Mail tag.

Anything sent by mail will be refused, returned unopened.  Want contact?  Email.  libertyinperil@riseup.net.  Quick.  Easy.  Better yet?  A digital record.  Permanent.  Easily accessible.  Easily uploaded to this site when and if it becomes necessary.  The shyster bastard you hired to steal the estate shouldn't expect escape, either, from public exposure as the thieving piece of shit he, like you, truly both are.  Unscrupulous thieves.

Sincerely hope that piece of crap sues as well.  Nothing to take.  Discovery again would be published no matter the personal cost.  Nothing quite like public exposure, is there?  Especially, when it is nothing but the truth and there is absolutely nothing to lose exposing two pieces of criminal shit for whom and what they are.  Two pieces of gutless human excrement who looted an old man.  ... Right, Bro?

There is no better disinfectant than sunlight, readers.  Glaring sunlight.  Dazzling brilliance.  Amazing how the roaches run for cover.  Equally pointedly, how vermin on two legs manage to so easily prey on the elderly courtesy of the out of control fascist police-state we now live in.  While there'll never be any justice vis a vis this theft, there will be exposure to the brilliant light of day for both criminal perpetrators.  Count on it, you not-so-brotherly criminal son of a bitch.

TC 10-7-16

Hey, Bro?  Hear of Old Sturbridge Village?  Haven't?  ... Not lying, are you, you thieving son of a bitch?  You and your long-term companion EC conspire, bequeath some of the old man's loot to this museum?  An achingly stingy gift of $250-$499, -- considering the size of the estate?  The CEO and Board have any idea you stole it?  Think they'd care?  -- Just getting started, dearest, dearest Bro.  ... Delusionally believe I haven't more than enough time, resources, determination to expose you for the thieving piece of crap you truly are?  ... Under $500 back in 2013?  Remarkably parsimonious with stolen money aren't you?   What does it feel like to have gutlessly ripped off an incompetent old man?  -- Dear old Dad.  Certainly, look forward to digging much deeper into how you and your shyster lawyer managed to bamboozle and loot the old bastard.  Back in the day, certainly wouldn't have fallen for your bullshit.  Would have kicked your worthless, thieving ass out the door.  Intend to expose it to the light of day.  Indeed, a public service. Seatbelts on, you thieving son of a bitch. Tally ho!

TC 3-24-17

... Brief aside, dear readers, for a most exceptional reason.  -- Although infrequent, pressing ongoing personal business must come first on rare occasion.  Hope you agree, moreover, find it entertaining, -- as this writer did crafting what follows.  Principle trumps all.  Remains prime mover, prime directive no matter what.

This pressing issue involves a family thief. A heartless predator preying on the elderly who must be held accountable, exposed to the light of day.  Especially, since authorities failed to do their job.  The following is part of that continuing effort to expose this piece of shit for whom and what he is:

Hey, Bro?  Guess what?  Me, again.  Most determined pain in the ass.  Miss me?  An inconvenient, nagging hemorrhoid that simply won't go away no matter what.  -- A pile with a smile that takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'.

... Delusionally think this most persistent nemesis of yours conveniently disappeared to parts unknown, vanished in thin air? To give a turd a break?  Wake up.  Not a chance, you thieving son of a bitch.  ... When you insanely believe this writer's gone and you're finally in the clear, guess what, here I am, right in your face.

Despite what's going on across our formerly great country, always have more than enough time for personal business.  That is, exposing you, Bro, to the glaring light of day.  A pathetically greedy predator.  Your target, who else, the elderly.  Most defenseless, vulnerable, an easy fleece.  -- Thought you'd steal from the surly old curmudgeon with impunity, no consequences?

Successfully escape accountability? Avoid detection, all responsibility?  Blatant theft of an old man's estate?  A little help from a bought and paid for hopelessly greedy unprincipled shyster?  Supposed cake walk due to 1800 miles separation?  No one to hold you accountable?  Your feet to the fire?  What could you possibly been thinking?

You've read this publication before.  Know precisely who and what I am, what I do.  Never give up.  Never say die.  Ignore all obstacles.  Know full well Liberty In Peril modus operandi remains as relentlessly ferocious, blindingly intense as ever.

No punches pulled.  No slack.  No personal consideration.  Certainly, not for a gutless son of a bitch, no more than a thieving predator.  Looted target, guess who, dear old dad.  Pitiful.  Delusionally believe you had the booty coming?  An entitlement?  For having had to put up with his shit all those years?  Wake up.

Hear of Historic Deerfield?  Of course, you have, you lying son of a bitch.  Forget?  You're one of their not-so-generous 'benefactors.'  ... With all the money stolen from our father's estate, only bequeath them a piss poor $40 bucks?

Unbelievable.  An achingly tight, cheap, thieving, worthless piece of duplicitous crap.  ... Write-off?  Negligible.  ... Feather in the cap? How?  Delusionally believe your treachery would never see the light of day? What planet do you live on?

Board of Trustees Chair Anne K. Groves know full well you looted the estate?  How about President Philip Zea?  Think both don't have a right to know?  How about Anne Lanning, Vice President For Museum Affairs?  To say nothing of Susan Martinelli, Vice President For Business Affairs?

These officials are entitled to know precisely whom they're doing business with.  A thief.  Gutless phony.  Blow-hard fraud.  Hoity-toity dandy.  Worse?  An unprincipled thief who stole from his father.  ... Glaring light of day sucks, doesn't it, Bro?  No escaping the unvarnished truth, this most bitter reality.  Not a chance.

Saddest of all?  Back in the day, Hell would have frozen over before anyone would have have been able to rip off the craggy old bastard.  Remember quite well how intent, determined he was not to be fleeced late in life by a sick son of a bitch like you.

A leech.  Ironic, isn't it?  Gutless rip off of an old man who couldn't adequately handle his affairs any longer.  How do you sleep nights?

Fraud runs in the family, clearly.  History repeating itself.  Right in the footsteps of our grandmother's son, who callously ripped off his mother decades ago.  Again, another achingly pathetic piece of human excrement.  Just like you.  Intend to lay it bare.  Methodically.  Painstakingly. In great detail.  Living, breathing color.

For all to see.  A public service.  Exposure of the criminal piece of human excrement you truly are.  For sustained public review.  A goddamned thief.  Pissed? Chagrined?  Nonplused?  Tough shit.  Sue.  Would certainly immediately post all discovery no matter the consequences.

All snail mail will be returned unopened.  No phone tag.  Got something to say? Email.  Say it right here.  On this website.  In public.  For the world to see.  Will be posted in its entirety.  No editing.  Unlike you, this writer doesn't lie, cheat, steal.  Honors his word.  Intend to expose you precisely for whom and what you are.

Duplicitous predator who preyed on his own father.  Blinding exposure to benefit the community.  Have nothing to lose providing this public service, but you do.  No better disinfectant than sunshine.

.. Think the old bastard not spinning in his grave?  -- Old lady not doing the same?  One thing for certain.  Neither brought you up to be a goddamned thief.  Yet, here we are.  ... Until next time, Tally Ho!

TC 7-14-17

While the business and church communities stood tall during the recent Kingsland flood catastrophe, there was one glaring exception.  On 10-17-18, the Antlers Coffee Shop closed due to storm-related failure of the Kingsland water system.  Patrons, however, are routinely allowed to get online outside even when the shop is closed.

A long-term coffee shop customer entered the hotel lobby to ask the desk clerk whether wifi was still up and running after the catastrophe.  She said it was and told the patron he could get online inside the closed shop.  She then asked him to have another regular customer who had just arrived outside to come in and get out of the cold as well.

Antlers co-proprietor Rick apparently quickly got wind of both customers, made quite a jackass of himself emulating the petulant narcissist currently occupying the Oval Office.  Aggressive stupidity at a time the Kingsland business community is indeed suffering, can least afford it.  Further proof positive of the old adage 'can fix ignorant, can't fix stupid.'

Why would, why should both customers put up with this?  Think this hasn't happened to others?

June 7, 2019

Uncommon Valor.  June 6, 1944.  D-Day.  CBS News reports:

"Anyone looking up along the Hudson River on a recent afternoon could be forgiven for thinking they were merely watching a classic airplane soaring past an iconic backdrop. What they were really witnessing when the World War II-era plane flew past the Statue of Liberty was a major milestone – one stop in an unlikely journey that had every reason to fail. It took more than a year of tinkering and tightening, lubricating and calibrating to get this C-47 airborne from a small museum at the Missoula, Montana airport. "Miss Montana" is 75 years old and hasn't flown in 18 years. The goal: fly her all the way to Normandy for this week's anniversary of D-Day.  "If I'd have known how much work was needed, we might not have started this thing," pilot Bryan Douglass said. "Miss Montana," a World War II-era C-47 military transport, has been restored to its original glory, in preparation for a flight to Normandy to mark the 75th anniversary of D-Day. For Miss Montana, this is a chance for valor that was denied her by timing. She was built in 1944, but by the time she was ready to go into battle, the war ended. "We sort of look at this mission as finishing what she was built for," he said. "So, maybe Miss Montana will get a little glory 75 years later?" asked correspondent Richard Schlesinger. "Maybe," Douglass replied. "Well, she'll get glory, yeah!" If all goes as planned, this plane will join 14 other American C-47s and another group from Europe to retrace the route across the English Channel taken by roughly 850 of these aircraft on D-Day."

The C-47 was one of the workhorses of the Second World War.  Not only that, used extensively in civilian aviation.  Highly reliable.

"My opinion of the C-47, it's one of the greatest planes ever built," said Dan McBride, who was one of the first of thousands of men ferried across the channel that day to parachute into France. He's 95 now, and still remembers D-Day in detail. "Well, this is something you don't forget," he of the invasion of Normandy. He still remembers D-day in detail: "When we flew over the channel, you know, I was standing right in the door looking down 600 feet. And it looked to me like the whole channel was moving. I honestly didn't believe there was that many ships in the world. And it was the greatest sight I think I've ever seen."

Certainly, stuck it hard up the ass of Hitler and the Nazis.  At great cost.  Loss of life.  Personal sacrifice.  When America was still young, strong, brave, and free.  ... And determined to remain so.

"He spent a lot of time in C-47s, but there weren't many good times. When they started shooting at us, you know, we wanted to get the hell out of this thing, you know?" McBride laughed. "But yeah, you could hear bullets hitting it. You know, it sounded like rain hitting it. And then the anti-aircraft fire, somebody says, 'Hey, look at the flares.' Ain't no flares!" he laughed. Jeff Whitesell has heard stories like McBride's through the years, and they have moved him. That's part of the reason why he signed on as chief pilot for Miss Montana, knowing she hadn't flown in close to 20 years. "It's really about paying proper tribute," Whitesell said. "Those folks in World War II are all passing away now. This thing we're doing in Normandy is probably the last time they're going to have a proper tribute paid before they're all gone. So, yeah, there's a deep-seated mission here for me."

Get this:

"Accomplishing that mission means defeating the forces of time and circumstance. Shortly after the war, this plane crashed into the Monongahela River in Pittsburgh and sank. After she was raised from the bottom, she flew for years for the Johnson Flying Service, taking firefighters to remote blazes in Montana forests so they could parachute out to extinguish the flames. Over the years, with its history of firefighting, the plane built a following. There was no shortage of volunteers, some dressed in period costume, willing to help get her airborne again. Crystal Schonemann has been there almost since the beginning, "every weekend for ten months, plus two weeks over Christmas, it's consuming!" she laughed. "It's consuming in the best possible way." Both engines had to be rebuilt, and there were countless other fixes large and small. Miss Montana fired up the engines and flew again. One week later, on May 19, she made a triumphant pass over home base, and headed east. She is traveling in distinguished company, including That's All Brother – believed to be the first C-47 in the main wave of the D-Day invasion – and Placid Lassie, another D-day veteran who almost ended her days in a Florida weed patch before being brought back to life and flown by Eric Zipkin. "It saw an enormous amount of action, yeah," Zipkin said. "It's extraordinary that I'm able to fly around, not only an airplane like this, but this actual airplane. The rivets that kinda surround me flew over the beaches in Normandy in 1944."

... And survived to fly another day.

"They will try to do most everything the same way as many of these planes did during the war. They will drop parachutists, just as they did 75 years ago. Doing it just right is critical for everyone flying this mission, perhaps more so for Al Charters, a parachutist and retired Special Forces officer from Montana whose father was in D-Day. Charters said, "If we don't do it well and we don't do it accurately, shame on us." This is personal for him. The invasion, fierce fighting, and the determination of the allied troops who suffering staggering losses is not just part of world history to him; it's part of his family's history. "It's a little emotional for you. Tell me why?" asked Schlesinger. "It's the same airspace that my father flew in three times on D-Day 75 years ago. So, to share that airspace is perfect."

Without the tremendous loss of life, personal sacrifice, Hitler would not have been defeated.

"This morning Miss Montana is in England – she made it across the Atlantic, along with Placid Lassie and the other airplanes – waiting for the anniversary. It will be the culmination of that unlikely journey that began more than a year ago. If all goes well, it will end in honor for the D-Day soldiers, and glory for a vintage airplane that without this mission might never have flown again."

Indeed.

Uncommon Valor.  June 6, 1944.  D-Day.  CBS News reports:

"This week marks the 75th anniversary of D-Day, the invasion that liberated Europe and turned the tide of World War II. More than 160,000 troops stormed the beaches of Normandy in 1944. Some veterans of that epic battle say their memories are still vivid after all these years.  Think of this excerpt from a Jack Lieb film as an early video blog. "And soon we were down at the docks and there we found units of the 101st Airborne Division, who were carrying everything that we could carry by hand, boarding landing craft," said Lieb, a World War II newsreel cameraman. When Lieb wasn't filming some of the war's most important moments to be shown to audiences back home, he was taking home movies with a personal camera to show family and friends, including showing soldiers imitating Hitler and playing football."

Long before the Internet and social media.

"Any D-Day anniversary is significant.  The one coming up this week — the 75th — may well be the last one which veterans of the landings can attend. Returning veterans have always been part of these events.  Five years ago, Charlie Wilson came back to Utah Beach, where he landed in his tank. He said the point was not to stay on the beach. "Get off this dang old beach and get outta here. And never look back," Wilson said."

Had to get off the beach as quickly as possible.  The firing was intense.  Ferocious.  Hell on earth.  Many died before hitting the beach.

"He said he'd like to come back for this anniversary too, but at 93, his family said the trip would be too hard, even with his spirit. "I would still go back today 'cause, any kids listening? I could still kick butt if I had to," Wilson said."

Bet he could.  Without that spirit, intensity, Uncommon Valor, the war would never have been won.

"Leslie Cruise had parachuted into Normandy the night of the invasion. He came back last time to try to finally come to terms with the death of a comrade-in-arms who, Cruise felt had taken the shell meant for him. He said it helped him close a chapter on it. The D-Day landings were a major turning point in the war, but what these anniversaries prove is that at their heart, they are a collection of intensely personal stories."

Uncommon Valor.  When America was young, strong, brave, and free.

Uncommon Valor.  June 6, 1944.  D-Day.  Seatbelts on.  CBS News reports:

"On June 6, 1944, more than 150,000 American, British and Canadian troops landed on the shores of northern France as part of D-Day, a major turning point in World War II that helped lead to the defeat of Nazi forces in Europe. About 2,500 of the 73,000 U.S. soldiers who fought in the battle died."

Read on:

"As a 23-year-old army medic, Ray Lambert saved numerous lives in Normandy, despite being wounded himself. Now 98, he recently co-wrote a book called "Every Man a Hero," and he's one of 53 D-Day veterans who will return to Normandy this week. On that day in 1944, Lambert was in the front of a cramped Higgins boat as it approached the shores of Normandy. "It was very crowded, cold, guys were seasick," Lambert told CBS News correspondent Jan Crawford. He was a young, hardscrabble country boy from Alabama turned army medic. Lambert and his brother Bill both enlisted in the war. "We were both married," Lambert said. "And we agreed that if anything happened to either one of us that the other one would take care of our wives. I had a son that I'd never seen."

Uncommon Valor.  Read on:

"The horror of that day began well before Lambert's boat reached the shore. "As we got in close enough … we could see dead guys on the beach," he said. Lambert took a bullet through the elbow just as the landing craft's ramp opened to deposit the men. He didn't stop. A man to his right was "obviously drowning," he said, and "had all of his equipment on." "That was the first person I helped," he said. Lambert saved at least 15 men on D-Day, pulling many of them to shore and seeking shelter behind a large rock. "How did you keep going?" Crawford asked. "You really didn't have a choice," he said with a slight chuckle. "You either drown or move forward." He kept going after shrapnel later tore through his thigh. And while working to save another soldier, the two were pinned under the ramp of a boat bringing in more Americans."

Uncommon Valor.  Read on:

"You had that conscious thought, this was it?" Crawford asked. "That's when I asked God to give me one more chance to save this guy's life." Lambert responded. "You didn't pray for your life?" Crawford asked. "I was thinking of the guy I had," he said. Miraculously, the ramp suddenly lifted. Lambert saved his man, but his own back was broken. He dragged himself ashore, looking down the beach before losing consciousness."

... When America was young, strong, brave, and free.

"Lambert, now 98, says even at the time the soldiers understood the Normandy invasion was pivotal to winning the war. "We knew that this was either a do or die situation," he said. Lambert and his brother made it out alive. He keeps pictures and awards in the front room of his North Carolina home — but said he doesn't need objects to remember. "There is hardly a day goes by that I haven't thought of some soldier or some incident that happened," he said. Lambert has gone back to Omaha Beach several times since that day 75 years ago — and the rock where his men took shelter has been named Ray's Rock."

Get this:

"He's been reluctant to share his story, until now. "I felt, you know, there's someone who'll say, 'Gee — you — Ray thinks he was a great hero,' or somethin' like that. I'm not. You know, I'm just — I'm a veteran." But he decided to speak for his fellow soldiers who [no] longer can. The title of his book says it all — aptly named "Every Man a Hero." "When we were talkin' about a name for the book, the name came up, 'Ray Lambert The Hero,'" he said. "And so I said, 'No. Every man is a hero. Not me.'"

Uncommon Valor.  ... When America was young, strong, brave, and free.

Mr. Lambert's story is far more complicated than the above.  In an interview with Mary Louise Kelly, NPR reports:

"Tomorrow marks 75 years since the largest amphibious assault in history - D-Day, the invasion of Europe by Allied forces. World leaders are gathering for the anniversary and so is 98-year-old D-Day veteran Ray Lambert of West End, N.C. We're going to hear what happened when NPR's Eleanor Beardsley met up with Lambert in Normandy. But first, Jay Price of member station WNYC brings us Lambert's story.

"JAY PRICE, BYLINE: Ray Lambert answers the door of his lakefront home in a faded denim shirt.

RAY LAMBERT: Come on in.

"PRICE: It's embroidered with the coat of arms of his beloved unit, the 16th regiment of the Army's 1st Infantry Division.

"LAMBERT: When I first started going to the reunions every year and there was World War I guys there.

"PRICE: His back is stiff from an old war injury, and he leads me carefully to a room overlooking his dock to tell me his story. Lambert grew up in rural Alabama during the Great Depression, dropping out of high school at age 14 to cut timber. In 1940, he enlisted in the Army mainly because he needed a steady job.

"LAMBERT: I told them I wanted to get in a fighting unit, and I don't know how stupid that was.

PRICE: A year later, the United States went to war. In North Africa, Lambert says he was wounded by shrapnel, slashed by a German wielding a bayonet-tipped rifle in hand-to-hand fighting and had his jeep blown up by a mine. And he won the Silver Star for bravery. In Sicily, he was wounded again. Then in 1944, now a 24-year-old staff sergeant leading a unit of medics, he was sent to England for his third invasion - D-Day."

The interview goes on and on.  In great detail about the landing.  Uncommon Valor.  ... When America was young, strong, brave, and free.

The following is an interesting perspective from a former German soldier there on D-Day, June 6, 1944.  NBC News reports:

"Seventy-five years after D-Day, the world is once again a troubling place to a former German soldier who was on the losing side of the cataclysmic clash that hastened the end of World War II."

Indeed.   History is repeating itself.  This time in the United States.

"Paul Golz, 95, has a clear memory of being on guard duty in the early morning hours of June 6, 1944 — and realizing the invasion was underway when the skies over the Normandy coast were illuminated by flares, known as “Christmas Trees," dropped by Allied planes to mark paratroop landing areas. “It looked very nice,” Golz, sitting in his tidy cottage in the German town of Koenigswinter, told NBC News several months before the anniversary of D-Day. “And then I knew, aha, now it is starting.” Golz was at the time a drafted member of the German army, then under control of the Nazis, and he has recounted that day several times before to historians, to curious reporters, and to several generations of school children. But as the leaders of the Free World prepare to mark the 75th anniversary of D-Day, Golz said he fears a fraying of the alliances that were created in the wake of the war, alliances that brought peace and stability to Europe. And he has deep misgivings about the leadership of President Donald Trump."

Indeed.  Trump appears to be a pernicious reincarnation of Adolf Hitler.  Our formerly great country is precisely where Germany was in 1933 when the Fuhrer became Chancellor.

“With Trump it is not easy,” Golz said. “Many Germans are not happy with what he does. He cannot just say ‘America First.’ Today you cannot succeed alone.” It’s not just Trump. Britain’s decision to leave the European Union also worries Golz. “Take Brexit, that monkey business,” he said. “How should England succeed in a world where everything is globalized?”

The following is particularly disturbing.  Certainly, highly reflective of the Trump nazi and his war against immigrants in our formerly great country:

"Like many Germans, Golz also takes a dim view of the thousands of Syrian refugees who have recently found shelter in his country. “Nobody wants them, we also do not want them to stay,” Golz said. “We rebuilt our country, the Syrians also have to go back and rebuild their own country. There is no other way.”

You did not rebuild your country alone, Mr. Gotz.  The United States provided the Marshall Plan.  Conveniently, forget?

"Never mind that Golz himself became a refugee after the war when Pomerania, a region on the southern Baltic coast where his family ran a farm, was returned to Poland and the Germans were expelled."

Despite the above, and especially remarkable coming from a former German soldier, get this:

"What remains undimmed by the passage of time, however, is Golz’s belief that the invasion that spelled the end of the Third Reich saved Europe — and his life. “It changed my life, the life of a poor farmer’s son,” Golz said in German. “I am thankful to the Americans, too. I was never treated badly. We always had enough to eat. And we had these great windbreaker jackets.” Were it not for a case of diphtheria, Golz might have wound up on the Russian Front. He came down with the infection not long after he was drafted at age 18 and wound up in a hospital in the German-occupied Polish city of Torun. “Approximately 10 people from my company were ill at the time, and most of the others were quickly deployed to Russia,” he said. “They died like flies. Hitler sent the youth to the slaughter.” Once he was better, Golz was assigned to 91st Air Infantry Division and dispatched to Normandy where the troops were literally dug in near the Cherbourg heights. “We did not live in houses at the time, but dug holes where we lived,” he said. “About one meter deep into the ground and a tent above it. We were about eight people in one tent.” And all around them was a forest of “Rommel’s asparagus,” millions of 13-to-16-feet logs planted in fields, the tops connected by tripwires that would set off a mine should a parachutist or a glider hit one. They were named after Field Marshal Erwin Rommel."

'The Desert Fox.'

"On the day of invasion, Golz said he was more concerned about being hungry than the invading Allies. He said at that point he had not eaten in three days, but when he went into a nearby village to get some milk he was rebuffed by the French. Golz said he returned to his unit, which had been ordered to march toward the town of Sainte-Mère-Église, some three hours away. But en route, Golz said, they were ordered to head to another town. “I saw how the bombs were dropping,” he said. Starved and thirsty, Golz said at one point he wandered off into a field in search of sustenance when he saw something moving. "I took my weapon down and moved toward it," he said. It was a downed parachutist. His face was covered with camouflage paint, but he was unlike any man Golz had ever encountered before. “I had never before seen a black man,” Golz said. Golz said the soldier was trembling. He said he spoke no English, so he tried to reassure him in German that he was not going to hurt him. “He spoke back to me calmly in English and in the end took his water bottle and said ‘Good water,’ which I understood,” he said. Golz said he insisted the soldier take a sip before he too drank from the bottle. Then he took the American prisoner. The next day, Golz said he saw his first dead American. He said the German soldier he was with, a Saxon named Schneider, began searching the pockets of the corpse and found a wallet with a picture of a pretty blonde woman inside. “And then we saw that he had a golden ring with a stone on his right hand,” Golz said. “Schneider tried to pull it off, but could not get it off. So, he said he would cut off his fingers. I said, ‘If you cut off his fingers, I will blow you away.’”

Imagine that.  Amazing, isn't it?  Coming from a German soldier.

“It was good that we did not do it,” he added. “Because we heard from others that if the Americans found a ring on you, they would shoot you.”

Not surprising, is it?  Can still remember my father telling me years ago, that at the end of the war German soldiers would fire at them.  Then, throw down their weapons and put their hands high up in the air and surrender.  Guess what?  The bastards were shot.

"By June 10 of that year, the war was over for Golz. He said after strafing a column of American trucks with machine gun fire, they retreated to a pasture where the pursuing GI’s found them. “Come on boys, hands up,” Golz recalls the Americans telling them. Golz said they had no choice but to surrender. He said they were forced to march for two hours to a market hall where about 100 other German prisoners of war were being held. He recalled that the black GI guarding them rebuffed a furious French man who wanted to shoot all the Germans. “The American had a duty to guard us, and that is what he did,” Golz said. From there, the POWs were marched to Utah Beach and loaded on a British ship. To this day he remembers in detail what they were fed. “Sausages, mashed potatoes, a cup of coffee and white bread,” he said. “After we ate, we were still hungry, so we went down the stairs and stood in line again to eat a second time.” They were taken first to a prisoner of war camp in Scotland. Then, after a time, they were shipped across the ocean to New York City on a ship called the Queen Mary 1. From there, Golz said they were taken by train to West Virginia and a POW camp where they were treated more like guests than prisoners. “On every bed there were cigarettes and chocolate, and they had prepared food in the kitchen for us,” he recalled, smiling broadly. “That is where I drank my first Coca-Cola. Wow, that tasted delicious. Ice cold.” Just how well they were being treated sank in for Golz when they were made to watch news footage from the newly liberated Nazi concentration camps. “It was the first time we were confronted with the atrocities,” he said. “We saw the starving people in the concentration camps.”

American commanders ordered their men to tour the liberated concentration camps.  My father was one of those so ordered.  The idea was to make sure there was no doubt the atrocities were real.  Had happened.  The photographs of the piles of emaciated dead bodies, authentic.  The emaciated still living, real.  None of it, myth.  All of it biting, vicious, murderous reality.  So no one could credibly deny these atrocities had indeed, occurred.

"Golz said that, when he was asked at age 16 which branch of the service he should sign up for, his older brother, who had already fought in Ukraine, had advised him not to join the Gestapo. “They did not fool around, I was told,” he said. But Golz said he was not aware of what his fellow Germans had done to the Jews and Poles and countless others until he saw the footage. He said his captors were surprised when he told them he did not know what happened in places like Auschwitz, Dachau or Sachsenhausen. “I told them I did not know about this because in Germany we did not get to see or hear this,” he said. “Those who had taken part, had been a guard there, did not say anything.”

Hard to believe.  The atrocities so widespread.  Pervasive.  Six million Jews murdered.

"Golz said he was released in 1946 and when he returned to what was left of Germany he began to realize how lucky he was to have been captured by the Americans. In addition to losing his home, he learned that his sister had been raped by Russian soldiers and became pregnant. “The worst I did not get to see because I was in the United States at the time,” he said. In the years that followed, Golz said he became a student of the war he had taken part in. He began returning to Normandy on the significant anniversaries and meeting with American soldiers who were once his enemies. He recalls being deeply moved the first time he went to the American cemetery. “They were all shot in the water on June 6,” he said. “That was on my mind when I saw the many graves. The Germans sat in a big bunker with big machine guns and just aimed at them.”

That's right.  Horrendous loss of life.  Many killed before hitting the beach.  Our troops heroically fought through all of it.  Uncommon Valor.  Personal sacrifice.  When America was young, strong, brave, and free.  Determined to remain so.

"Golz said he was also asked several times to speak to French schoolchildren about the war and his small part in it. He showed a reporter the words he used to read to the classes when he made his presentation. “These many, many young men, most of them between 18 and 25, have given their lives for our peace, for today’s Europe,” part of it reads. “Remember that and preserve this peace.” In the twilight of his life, Golz said he is aware that he is part of a dwindling fraternity and that time has done what the bullets didn’t do in 1944, namely cull the numbers of men he could call comrades-in-arms. These days, when he can, Golz said he tends to his little garden and the old apple tree that “still brings him joy and a few apples each year.” And he remembers. “I have no hate, no hate,” he said."

Uncommon Valor.  This time, a bus driver.  CBS News reports:

"On May 15, Milwaukee bus driver Cecilia Nation-Gardner left her layover two minutes later than usual — and as it turned out, that was a serendipitous twist of fate. As she pulled up to the bus stop at 35th and Vliet Streets, Nation-Gardner spotted something that stopped her in her tracks: a 6-year-old boy walking alone through the busy intersection. The little boy, who has a disability, had wandered out of his school and was now walking dangerously down the center of the road as cars sped around him. That's when the hero bus driver sprang into action. "Stay right there! Stop!" Nation-Gardner can be heard screaming as she runs from her bus into the traffic. She then takes the boy's hand and walks him back into the safety of her bus, saying, "We're going to call the police, OK? So we can get you home." Milwaukee Country Transit System cameras captured the entire incident, as well as the moment police officers arrive, tying the little boy's shoes before taking him away to reunite with his family. This is the tenth lost or missing child that MCTS drivers have recovered in recent years — a fortunate case of being in the right place at the right time. "It was meant for me to be there," Nation-Gardner said, referring to the fact that had she stopped at that bus stop at her regular time, she might never have seen the child. "God does everything for a reason."

What's particularly sad is no one else had stopped to rescue this boy walking dangerously in traffic.  -- All the other vehicles that sped right by him.  Hat's off to the bus driver, Ms. Cecilia Nation-Gardner.  Risked her life running into traffic.  Uncommon Valor.

Uncommon Valor.  NPR reports:

"When she first heard a woman screaming "active shooter" while dashing down her office hallway, Christi Dewar's first thought was: It must be a drill. Dewar, 60, of Chesapeake, Va., who has worked in the city of Virginia Beach's public utility department for nearly 13 years, had been there long enough to know that loud sounds were not necessarily cause for alarm. On Friday afternoon, a workplace renovation was still underway, so when she heard the first blasting pop sounds, she didn't realize she was in the midst of one of America's deadliest workplace shootings. "When we heard the first shots, it sounded like a nail gun going off," Dewar said. But as popping kept piercing the air, alarm set in for Dewar and one of her closest friends and longtime colleague, Ryan Keith Cox. They started to move away from the noise and toward a staircase, but then a co-worker came dashing by, imploring Dewar and Cox to run the other way. The break room, she thought, could be their refuge. "He said, 'No, stay here, stay quiet,' " Dewar remembers Cox telling her. "I said, 'Come on,' and he said, 'I have to go check on the other ones,' " telling Dewar that she and seven colleagues should barricade themselves in an office room. Cox left the room, while Dewar and others pushed a heavy cabinet flush against the door with all their might and kept as quiet as they could. Cox, meanwhile, had gone quiet. Dewar and her co-workers hunkered down behind the barricade, wondering where he was, when their thoughts were violently disrupted. "Two bullets almost came through the back of the cabinet," Dewar said. "We fell to the ground; then we heard other shots close to us," she said, choking up. "That's when he got Keith." Cox was among a dozen people slaughtered Friday afternoon when, authorities said, DeWayne Craddock, 40, a longtime employee of the city, stormed through Building 2 of a sprawling office complex. Police say the shooter was carrying handguns, high-capacity magazines and a silencer device. Witnesses described hearing up to 50 shots as the gunman sprayed bullets "indiscriminately," police said, on three floors of the building. When the gunman's blaze of bullets became faint, Dewar dialed 911. It did not take long, she said, for police to arrive, some wearing what appeared to be riot gear. An officer held her hand and instructed her to "not look down" as they sped down the steps. Dewar had trouble looking away from what was below her, though. "As we went down the stairwell," Dewar said haltingly, "I had to step over one of my friends," who authorities later confirmed had died. Cox and Dewar had a special bond. They both started their government jobs on the same day. Their desks weren't far apart. And they clicked on a fundamental level, she said. "I called him my big teddy bear," Dewar said. "Every time I was upset, he would give me a hug. When I was upset about something, he knew exactly what to say to make you smile. He's the type of person who you know would lay down his life for someone, just like he did."

Uncommon Valor.

... Hey, Sheriff?  Is it true Llano County Attorney Becky Lange has advised you to stay out of the "Berardi Property Rights Denial-Damage To Pace Arrow-Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764" fiasco?  That right, Bill?  Isn't that obstruction of justice?  Also true your deputies have advised the Bolens to accept the status quo and not force the no-trespassing issue with Greene?  If so, isn't that also obstruction and official oppression?  When will you do your job, Bill?  As an elected official, you answer to the public, forget?  -- No honor?  ... No honor at all? If the foregoing allegations are indeed true, didn't you swear an oath to uphold the law and Constitution?  Why aren't you doing so?  No guts?

Your deputy has been accused of abusing authority.  What action have you taken other than ignore the complaint?  Why aren't both Rodriguez and the County Attorney under criminal investigation?  The County Attorney appears to be obstructing justice, accepting the word of Greene in lieu of two surveyor companies who strongly assert otherwise.  Both the County Attorney and District Attorney have ignored complaints.  Par for the course in Llano County, isn't it?  Failed to do their jobs.  No surprise there, right, Bill?  Both receiving 'special consideration' up to and/or including a bribe from Greene?  Regardless, clearly, no justice in Nazi Llano County.  Bottom line?  Desperate need for an outside criminal investigation.  Conveniently, forget?  This County is ruled by men, certainly not rule of law and the United States Constitution.

Precisely, why there is desperate need for a new federal agency whose sole function would be to investigate, arrest, charge, and prosecute criminal law enforcement, prosecutors, and judges in a special court whose only mandate would be to adjudicate such cases.  Total independence.  Until that happens, the criminal bastards who falsely believe they run and own this hell hole County will continue to do as they please.

Tim Chorney, Publisher
Liberty In Peril

Some salient quotes occurring later on in this edition vis a vis unfinished business County officials continue to ignore:

... "Sadly, the bastards don't need a reason.  Enjoy carte blanche to murder on the job.  Nearly always, with impunity.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Sue the living shit out of the jackbooted motherf--ker, the department, and the city.  Any officer engaged in, or threatening this kind of unnecessary violence needs to be criminally prosecuted.  Not protected and coddled.  Not put on paid leave, -- no more than a paid vacation.

Firing is egregiously insufficient.  How can the law enforcement community be trusted?  No foreign power, no terrorist organization, not even the criminal element presents a greater threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties than the criminal jackbooted bastards in law enforcement.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Madam County Attorney?  "Sonny Boy?"

These are extremely dangerous times for our formerly great country.  ... Hear the rumble?  An unwanted dreaded second American revolution catastrophically looming.  -- As our legislators and other government officials figuratively 'fiddle while Rome burns.'

Not good enough.  Nowhere near.  Short of an unwanted dreaded second American revolution, only one way for these atrocities to end.  Time for a new federal agency whose sole function would be to investigate, arrest, charge, prosecute corrupt, abusive, criminal officers, prosecutors, and judges in a special court whose sole function would be to adjudicate such cases.  Total independence.

Local  and state authorities are egregiously incapable of handling these cases. Tend to protect their own.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Goes with the territory, doesn't it, Bill?  Precisely, why there is no faith or trust in your criminal jackbooted bastards.  Local authorities here in Nazi Llano County have their heads figuratively, securely lodged so far up their clueless ass their eyeballs are turning inside out.  Protect and coddle your clueless, out of control officers.  Imagine that.

Unadulterated, blatant ongoing horse shit.  ... Right, Bill?  F--k these jackbooted bastards.  Aren't worth a crap.  Continually abrogate their oaths of office to protect and defend the United States Constitution.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Includes not only deputies, but the brass as well.  No principles.  No honor.  Lying, conniving, abusive, murderous jackbooted thieving thugs.  The American Civil Liberties Union needs to step up and represent the victims of abusive law enforcement.

To say nothing of innocent civilians all across our formerly great country who are victimized by abusive police.  Need far better representation than a public defender.  Forget?  It's how the bastards in government line government coffers.  All too often, looting the innocent.  Those on the bottom of the food chain.  ... Right, Sheriff?

No justice.  The American Way.  Nazi America.  When is this shit finally going to end?  All of it.  Wake up, Sheriff.  Again, where is dashcam video of the killing of Jeffrey Gray Wise, 52, of Austin by DPS and the Llano County Sheriff's Office?  One hundred sixty three weeks, now.  A goddamned disgrace.

Why are you still sitting on this information?  What are you hiding, Sheriff?  What is the identity of the officers who killed Wise?  Too gutless to release this information to the public that pays your salary and that of your goons?  Reportedly, there were three officers involved in the shooting.  Who the hell are they?

When will the goddamned 'law' 'enforcement' community finally stop making excuses for engaging in outrageous criminal activity including blatant murder, violent assault, sexual assault, theft, drug trafficking, etc.?  List can go on and on.  Protecting its own no matter what it does or doesn't do? Convenient, isn't it, Sheriff?  Again, no foreign power, no terrorist organization, not even the criminal element presents a greater threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties than all branches and levels of government, -- including law enforcement.

Corruption within law enforcement remains an existential threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties.  So what else is new?  ... Right, Bill?  Same old duplicitous, aggressively stupid shit occurs right here in Nazi Llano County.  ... Doesn't it, Sheriff?

Think it'll change any time soon?  Don't hold your breath, readers.  Not how things work in Nazi America, right, Sheriff?  Highly reminiscent of how your goons operate though, isn't it, Bill?  Forget?  'Stupid is as stupid does.'  F--ked up is f--ked up no matter where, no matter how.  Problem throughout all law enforcement.

Including right here in Nazi Llano County, right, Sheriff?  Too many officers clearly have their heads securely lodged where the sun seldom shines.  Egregious insanity continues to be perpetrated by the criminal jackbooted bastards in blue.  Ongoing issue.  All over our formerly great country.

Not just in Dallas as in the Guyger case, but all over the nation.  No end to it.  Surprised? Why?  In today's increasingly national socialist climate anything goes, right, Bill?  Live in a de facto fascist police-state, quickly transitioning to the Trump nazi's Fourth Reich.  Certainly, a problem here in Nazi Llano County, isn't it, Sheriff? Your goons, however, aren't held accountable when they egregiously f--k up. Ever.

Precisely why you refuse to release information on your deputies to the long-suffering public?  That is, employment history, criminal background, results of drug testing, etc..  ... Got to protect your criminal jackbooted thugs preying on the citizenry with virtual impunity, right, sir?

Equally pointedly, why hasn't Llano County Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764 been held criminally accountable for egregious abuse of power involving denial of property rights to a Kingsland property owner?  To say nothing of consequent resultant physical damage done to a motor home on that property.  Why are you protecting this clueless son of a bitch, Sheriff?

Why hasn't he been prosecuted for official oppression?  Where is financial compensation for the damage this jackbooted piece of human excrement is responsible for? Ferociously pointedly, why are the District Attorney and the County Attorney continuing to protect this jackbooted piece of shit?  He and others like him present an exigent threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties.

Equally to the point, why are your jackbooted pieces of human excrement refusing to enforce Berardi's property rights?  Your goons have failed to take action against Theresa Ahrens when she tore down a no trespassing sign and barrier on Berardi's property.  Have you, your goons, and/or Madam County Attorney been bribed by Johnny Greene?

Ahrens frequently drives all the way through Berardi's property.  Coup de grace?  When Berardi complained to Llano County Deputy Idle about the trespassing, the officer's response was insane.  Said the Sheriff told him to tell Berardi since Ahrens believes she owns his property she can't be charged with trespassing.  Perfect Catch-22, right, Sheriff?  You're not fit for office, Bill.  Bribed by Johnny Greene?

Why is Theresa Ahrens allowed by your goons to dictate what vehicles can and cannot be parked on Berardi's property?  Ahrens claims she has proof the property belongs to her where the vehicle was parked.  Has failed to produce it.  Surveyors say otherwise.  Back up Berardi.  Yet, your jackbooted bastards refuse to enforce Berardi's property rights.  Why?  Somebody lining somebody's pockets, Sheriff?

Ms. Ahrens micro-mini portable 'house' is parked on an unused unmarked Llano County road.  Imagine that.  Madam County Attorney well-aware.  Has done nothing.  Shit squat.  Egregiously ignored her oath of office.  Someone bribing you, Becky?  Lining your pockets, Counselor?  Paying you not to sell the unused unmarked County road to Berardi?  Doesn't the County want and need the sale money, to say nothing of the resultant tax income?

No question, County and State agencies remain determinedly, concertedly, achingly incapable of criminal investigation of their own.  Precisely, why a new federal agency desperately needs to be created whose sole function would be to investigate, arrest, charge, prosecute corrupt, abusive, criminal officers, prosecutors, and judges in a special court whose sole function would be to adjudicate only such cases.  Total independence.  Certainly, go a long, long way to cleaning up this cess pool County.  Rein in the outrageously corrupt, abusive, achingly inept, self-serving assholes who run and own this hell hole.

Sheriff, you falsely claim the Kingsland County Commissioner has the authority to resolve this ongoing property rights issue.  Clearly, doesn't.  You, Madam County Attorney, and "Sonny Boy" are certainly an egregious impediment, continue to determinedly stonewall.  Someone's pockets are being lined.  Again, where's financial compensation for the damage Llano County Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764 is directly responsible for to the Pace Arrow?  Why hasn't he been prosecuted for this damage, to say nothing of infringement of Berardi's property rights?  -- Just getting started, Sheriff.  Far more to come.

-- You're not doing your jobs, Sheriff.  You've got a loose vicious dog problem in Kingsland, Bill.  When will you and the troops finally do something about this ongoing issue?  Certainly, a recurring problem on Skyline, particularly on occasion at the intersection of Odessa.  Pedestrians, runners, and cyclists are at risk.  Too busy lining County coffers with bogus tickets?"

... Small sampling of what's to come in this edition.  Read on.

Re:  Berardi Property Rights Denial-Damage To Pace Arrow-Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764

Counselor:

The enclosed emails were sent to the Llano County Attorney and Sheriff, respectively, vis a vis the above matter.  Remain unanswered.  The County Attorney appears to be protecting and defending the deputy at behest of Kingsland property owner Johnny Greene.  May have received some consideration from Greene up to and including a bribe.  Are the County Attorney, Greene, and the Deputy under criminal investigation?  If not, why not?

Re:  Berardi Property Rights Denial-Damage To Pace Arrow-Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764

Counselor:

As you're well aware, we have an outrageously corrupt, abusive, achingly inept Llano County Sheriff's Office here in Nazi Llano County.  Worse, you and your office aid and abet these SS jackbooted bastards in black.  The issue at the moment is the same it's been the last six months.

How is it two surveyor companies, the Appraisal District, the Tax Office, the Precinct 3 Commissioner, even the goddamned Sheriff himself now states Kingsland resident James Berardi owns the lots in contention all these months?

Yet, you ludicrously assert that's not the County's legal position.  It's not?  Why not?  You claim you're not a real estate expert.  Rather than accept the advice of two surveyor companies, the Precinct 3 Commissioner, the Appraisal District, the Tax Office, and even the Sheriff himself, you've inexplicably chosen to follow the advice of property owner Johnny Greene, -- who conveniently happens to be reportedly in the oil industry.

Question to be asked.  Could you have received any 'consideration' in return, -- up to and including a bribe?  Only way to know for sure is for the District Attorney to conduct a criminal investigation.  Apparently, there has been none.  If not, why not?

Equally pointedly, why hasn't Llano County Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764 been held criminally accountable for egregious abuse of power involving denial of property rights to this Kingsland property owner?  To say nothing of consequent resultant physical damage done to a motor home on that property.

Our achingly useless, worthless, gutless Sheriff has ignored an email vis a vis the damage this jackbooted thug is responsible for.  Interestingly, his fellow officers believe him to be an idiot.  Yet, the Sheriff continued to defend this piece of human excrement until he realized  this entire fiasco would not be swept under the carpet.

Rodriguez is indeed an idiot.  Would you believe this piece of crap ordered the motor home to be moved on to an unmarked unused Llano County road? That motor home has indeed been moved back to where it was parked before Rodriguez forced it to be moved.  Why hasn't the County paid for the cost of moving it back?  To say nothing of the damage.

Equally pointedly, why is it the County has allowed Theresa Ahrens to park and live in her tiny cottage on that very same road?  Why hasn't she been evicted by the County?  Why was she assessed taxes on an adjacent improvement she doesn't own?

Why is it, Counselor, Johnny Greene is paying for the attorney retained by Ms. Ahrens?  Is Greene attempting to make this all go away by bribery?  Greene has also informed Berardi he is going to sue.  For what?  Has Greene lost his mind?

What about Wells who installed a $4500 septic system on a lot turns out he does not own as a result of Greene, an outrageously inept County, to say nothing of the Llano County Attorney who remains equally determinedly clueless?

How about Bolen who hasn't a pot to piss in, but was nonetheless f--ked over by Greene to say nothing of an egregiously inept County, to say nothing of you and your goddamned equally incompetent office?

None of this is going away, Counselor, -- any time soon.  Will not be swept under the carpet as all the other crap going on in this hell hole County.  Not a chance.  Expect a full expose in this publication whether or not this outrageous fiasco finally gets resolved.  Including full public exposure of both the Sheriff and his jackbooted thug.

Who are they, Sheriff?  Their past history?  An ongoing investigation remains a lame bullshit excuse.  How can you and your goons be trusted when you refuse to disclose information?  One hundred sixty three weeks.  Especially, your egregious failure to disclose the identity of the officers who pulled the trigger.  To cover your sorry ass, Sheriff?  Those of your thugs?  The people have a right to know what happened, how it went down.  You don't understand that, Sheriff?  Sadly, clearly, you answer to no one.  Including taxpayers.  Especially, taxpayers.

Until you and your goons come clean, doubt will remain this was indeed a good shoot.  The longer you drag your feet, the greater the doubt.  Think not?  Wake up.  Your credibility has tanked.  Isn't getting any better as this bullshit continues unabated.  One hundred sixty three weeks.   Still no identification of the officers involved  ... Can't get your stories straight?  In line?  Discrepancy between LCSO and DPS? Wake up, Sheriff.  The public no longer buys the bullshit.  No longer trusts you.  On this and many, many other issues.  You have no credibility.  Absolutely, none.

Readers, this is but one of about four other highly questionable killings by law enforcement in Llano County in the last decade or so.  There was one within the City of Llano, another in a field near Fuzzy's Corner, Buchanan Dam, yet another in Point Tella, Buchanan Dam, still another in Tow.  If there are any others I may have neglected to mention, kindly email.

It's time the public be fully informed.  -- Know what we're dealing with here and how 'law' 'enforcement' operates in this hell hole County.  If these jackbooted bastards are not reined in, the life lost could be yours courtesy of a law enforcement system that is no longer accountable to anyone.  ... Right, Sheriff?  TL?  "Sonny Boy?"  Madam County Attorney?

The Sheriff seems to have no clue the people who pay him and his goons are entitled to know whom is killing whom and why.  This shit always seems to be swept under the carpet.  Ignored.  The attitude of these jackbooted sons of bitches is trust us.  They can't be.  They've lied too many times.  Refuse to be accountable to anyone.  We live in a goddamned fascist police-state where law enforcement does as it pleases. Usually, with impunity.  That has to change.

The Texas Rangers have become rubber stamp to atrocities committed by law enforcement.  This also has to change.  No one is holding law enforcement accountable any longer.  No one.  No one in state or federal government. This is precisely why Ferguson triggered such an uproar.  There was no justice there.  None here.  None anywhere.  Officers are abusive, corrupt, inept.

Falsely ticket and arrest the innocent to line County coffers.  Court fees charged continue to be horrendous.  -- Aren't taxpayers already looted to pay these costs?  Aren't you boys not only double f--king those falsely accused, but taxpayers also hellaciously looted to pay the very same costs?   Yet, the criminal bastards in power in Llano continue to pile on the fees. This is nothing more than goddamned bullshit.  This money finds its way into the pockets of the corrupt, abusive bastards who falsely believe they run and own this hell hole.

Would you believe the last time the Sheriff's Office happened to be 'audited' during the Garrett regime, reportedly, auditors couldn't figure out what went where and why? Yet, surprise, surprise.  Nothing was done.  There has to be transparency.  There is none.  Why would these thieving bastards want any?  ... Right, Sheriff?  TL?  How else could they so easily steal and loot with virtual impunity?  Worse, this reinforces jackbooted power in this goddamned, godforsaken hell hole County.

The public has a right to know the histories of the Sheriff's goons.  Clearly, the Sheriff doesn't think so.  That is, where they came from.  Why they left where they were.  What is happening here is the Sheriff is using 'personnel matters' as a convenient excuse to deny the public access to the history of outrageously corrupt, abusive, inept officers who are no more than criminals themselves.

He's protecting his outrageously corrupt, abusive, inept jackbooted bastards.  Worse, the standards imposed by sheriff's offices statewide with the exception of metropolitan counties are well below those of DPS and city police departments.  Why?  So the corruption, abuse, ineptness, and outright stealing can continue unabated?  This has to change.  ... Can't have that, can we?  Sheriff?  TL?

The public should understand Llano County authorities have it all sewn up.  Did you know the Texas Attorney General does not have the authority to investigate and prosecute County authorities on his own?  The District Attorney has to call for an investigation by the Texas Rangers.  Then, the State can prosecute if it so chooses.

Consequently?  Guess what?  Nothing will happen.  Nothing ever does.  The goddamned corruption continues unabated until you, the public, pressure authorities.  Precisely, why we all enjoy the 'best' government money can buy. Literally.  Without question, the corrupt, abusive, inept sons of bitches are all bought and paid for.  Firmly clamped to the taxpayer tit.  Dependent on money looted from innocent citizens caught in their web.  Phony fines and court costs cleverly designed to f--k the innocent and enrich the pieces of shit who falsely believe they run and own Llano County. Right, Sheriff?  TL?  "Sonny Boy?"  Madam County Attorney?

Interestingly, the former Sheriff and District Attorney were reportedly forced to retire after an outrageous scandal involving a drunk driving police officer from out of town.  Including special treatment of the drunken son of a bitch that no other citizen caught doing the same would have been afforded.  An honest, honorable Llano County Deputy suffered the consequences. Forget? Great officers do not last in this hell hole County. ... Right, Sheriff?  TL?  "Sonny Boy?"  Madam County Attorney?

With all ongoing abuse in this goddamned County, one thing remains for damned sure.  We're just getting started, Sheriff.  You will continue to be exposed for whom and what you and your corrupt, abusive, inept jackbooted bastards have become, truly are, not what you phonies purport to be, that is, how you continue to f--k over a public you've falsely sworn to protect and defend.  -- Exposure, the only way short of an unwanted dreaded revolution to force desperately needed change in a goddamned fascist police-state. The Fourth Reich.

Have your jackbooted thugs been tested for steroids, Sheriff?  If you've nothing to hide, Bill, release the results of all drug testing.  'Personnel matters?'  Bullshit.  Looted taxpayers have the right to know.  They're footing the bill for all this goddamned corruption, abuse, ineptness. When will you and the boys end the shakedowns?  Looting of the innocent to line County coffers?  No honor at all?

Where are your swastika armbands, you fascist son of a bitch?  You and your thugs remain out of uniform.  Once again, Sheriff, and ad nauseum, did you and/or your goons pressure Schilling to exit the race?  Did you steal the election? If so, an aggressively stupid, achingly gutless public gets what it truly deserves.  One of the most corrupt, abusive, inept 'law' 'enforcement' agencies in our formerly great country.

Have any information, knowledge of, experience with a purportedly non-profit volunteer clean-up group called Looking Forward In Llano County affiliated with the Llano County Attorney's Office?  Email this publication at libertyinperil@protonmail.com to provide information and/or arrange a meeting to discuss this matter.  If requested, your identity will be protected.  The question is quite simple.  Is this group what it claims to be and on the level?

Highly reminiscent of our outrageously bought and paid for judiciary, Llano County prosecutors, Sheriff Bill Blackburn and his criminal SS jackbooted bastards in black who continue to egregiously disgrace themselves and the badge, do as they please regardless of the law and Constitution, carefully consider the following.  It's appalling.  Runs against the grain of everything our formerly great country once stood for.  No longer.

Untenable.  The Washington Post reports:

"With his weapon cocked to the side, the Arkansas police officer repeatedly gives Ed Truitt a simple command: “shut your car off.” An apprehensive Truitt, using his left hand to live-stream the early Sunday encounter on Facebook, begins to move his right arm. “He’s got a gun!” the officer yells before repeating the last word. “Gun!”

There was no gun in his hand or immediately accessible.

“Where? My hand’s in the air!” Truitt replies, panning the camera to his empty hand. “Come shut the car off, I ain’t moving my hands. He’s trying to shoot me.”

An insane, out of control, gutless piece of jackbooted shit in blue.  ... Right, Sheriff?

"Video of the incident, which took place outside a convenience store in the eastern Arkansas city of Helena-West Helena, has garnered thousands of views online and raised questions about the officer’s intentions. For some, Truitt’s experience illustrated the painstaking steps people of color feel they must take to survive run-ins with law enforcement."

Readers are reminded, while this is indeed a deadly problem for people of color, more innocent, unarmed whites are killed by law enforcement.

“Given the history of these types of videos, I heard ‘gun’ and I flinched,” said Phillip Atiba Goff, whose advocacy group, Center for Policing Equity, promotes police transparency and accountability. “I thought I knew what was going to happen next."

Called legalized murder.  ... Right, Sheriff?

"Truitt argues he survived by ignoring the officer’s instructions, telling WREG that he “played it safe” by keeping his hands visible and refusing to move. “[The officer] was like, ‘That’s a failure to comply,’” Truitt told the Memphis-based CBS affiliate. “But if I would have complied, I would have got killed.”

Sad it's come down to the above.  A Catch-22.

Gets worse:

"Helena-West Helena police told WREG the convenience store’s parking lot was a hotbed of criminal activity. Police are seen in the background of the video talking with others at the scene. According to Truitt, several police officers arrived Sunday morning and ordered everyone to clear out, causing another car to block him in. In the video, the officer claims Truitt didn’t leave the premises when asked. In an apparent change of course, he then alleges Truitt had “come back.” “I’m not going to shoot you, but you’re not going to move those hands,” the officer says. “My hands in the air,” Truitt replies. “You’re telling me to shut my car off so you can shoot me. C’mon now.”

Jesus Christ.  This officer is nuts.  ... And a liar.  Couldn't even get his story straight during the encounter as indicated in the above quote.

"As the video circulated on Twitter and Instagram, where it was reposted by comedian D.L. Hughley and others with large followings, commenters accused the officer of looking for reasons to shoot Truitt. Others questioned why the officer involved, who has not been named by the department, would yell out “gun” when Truitt’s hands were shown to be empty."

Gutless.  Insane.  Jackbooted bastard in blue.

"Helena-West Helena Police Chief James Smith, who did not return multiple requests for comment from The Washington Post, told WREG that officers found a rifle inside the vehicle. Truitt appears to say in the video the weapon is registered in his name. Under Arkansas law, rifles do not require registration. Body camera footage published by the network Wednesday shows police holding a rifle after placing Truitt in handcuffs. Truitt has indicated the gun was not easily accessible from where he sat in the vehicle. Smith said the department was working to determine if the officer responded properly. The chief sought the facts, he said, including whether the officer felt “imminent danger” before pulling out his weapon. “We don’t want this to be a racial thing,” he added. “We want to make sure this officer did the right thing and that he is accountable for his actions.” Goff said it’s important to note the officer’s finger was not placed on the trigger during the encounter, and that he remained calm after initially reacting to the rifle. He attempted to explain the reactions of those who may think the officer responded with appropriate urgency after spotting the weapon, and others who see an armed policeman needlessly escalating the situation. “Hero cop or hero bystander? Ridiculous citizens or unnecessarily goonish officer?” Goff said. “Very quickly, these become characters that are written in historical stereotypes. That’s part of the toxins in how we handle race and law enforcement today.”

Above rhetoric aside, there are an increasing number of innocent, unarmed people being killed by the jackbooted bastards in blue.  That's a fact.  Called the truth.  Not speculation.  As continually reported in this publication and elsewhere.

"For many discussing Truitt on social media, he was the clear hero. They commended his demeanor as he stared down the barrel of a police officer’s gun. “Way to keep your cool, brother. You didn’t get emotional,” one woman commented on his Facebook video. “That takes you off your game. You stayed rational.”

"Lose lose situation for us! If we move and they don’t see our hands it’s an excuse to shoot us. If we don’t move then we didn’t comply. At least he is alive. I would have done the same. The cop clearly yelled gun and that would have been an excuse to shoot if his hands moved!
    — Uniquely Me (@OnePhrozenSoul) May 28, 2019"

Police are increasingly trigger-happy.  That's a fact.  Not speculation.  As continually reported in this publication and elsewhere.

"According to WREG, Truitt was arrested for loitering and disregarding an official order. Police also told the network Truitt was charged with having a gun in his vehicle. The Post was unable to confirm any charges late Wednesday. In the video’s waning moments the officer is seen forcibly removing Truitt from the car, sending the phone he recorded with tumbling to the ground. Grateful to be alive, Truitt said he has no regrets about how he handled the interaction. “What I did saved my life,” he told WREG. “That’s why I’m here talking to y’all. If not, y’all would be covering a story about how I got shot.”

Truth's a moving target.  Sadly, so.  Police lie to cover their ass.  So does the criminal element.  Increasingly difficult to tell the difference between the criminal element and the jackbooted bastards in blue.  More on this case as it becomes available.

The following provides more in-depth coverage of the encounter.  NBC News reports:

"An Arkansas police officer has been placed on administrative leave after a video showing him pointing a gun at a black man and pulling the man out of a car went viral. Officer Terry Daughtery, a 3-year veteran with the Helena-West Helena Police Department, was responding to a call of loitering at the Double Quick gas station in Helena-West Helena on May 26 when the tense incident unfolded, according to NBC News affiliate WMC. Ed Truitt, a welder from Jonesboro, Arkansas, said he and his cousin were asked to leave the gas station by a female officer but when he went to pull out of the parking lot, he was blocked by a police car. He was sitting inside in the driver's seat of the car when the officer approached with his gun drawn. It was then that Truitt started recording the encounter on Facebook live. In the video, which has been viewed more than 800,000 times, Daughtery can be heard ordering Truitt to put his car in park and exit the vehicle. "Shut your car off," Daughtery can be heard saying over and over again, at one point adding, "he's got a gun." Truitt does not comply, but keeps his hands in the air throughout the encounter. "I ain't moving my hands, he trying to shoot me," Truitt is heard saying, he then repeatedly says "my hands in the air, my hands in the air."

Sad, when  trigger-happy law enforcement cannot be trusted not to murder on the job.  ... Right, Sheriff?

"The incident continues until the officer pulls Truitt from the car and places him in handcuffs. Truitt told NBC News that he didn't listen to Daughtery's orders because he was afraid that if he made any movements the officer might discharge his weapon. “I just knew not to move,” Truitt told NBC News. “I thought I was going to lose my life right then and there. I was scared for the first time in my life,” he added."

As well he should have been.  The criminal jackbooted bastards in blue are murderously gutless.  ... Right, Sheriff?

"Chief James Smith of the Helena-West Helena Police Department said officers retrieved an assault rifle from Truitt's car, according to WMC. Body camera footage released by the Helena-West Helena Police Department shows an officer carrying that weapon near the car. Truitt was charged with carrying a weapon, loitering, resisting arrest and failure to comply to a lawful order and later released, according to WMC. Truitt said he has retained attorney Benjamin Crump, who is best known for representing the families of shooting victims, Michael Brown and Trayvon Martin. Crump did not return NBC News' requests for comment. Daughtery had previously been disciplined with the department but it was not known what for, according to WMC. When reached Friday, the Helena-West Helena Police Department declined to comment."

The public is entitled to know the identity and background of its jackbooted oppressors.  ... Right, Sheriff?

"According to WMC, Chief Smith has been in contact with the Arkansas State Police about the incident. However, a spokesperson for the Arkansas State Police said it has not been "formally requested by any Helena or Phillips County authorities to conduct a criminal investigation."

Would do no good.  The criminal jackbooted bastards cover for one another.  No justice.  No integrity.  No respect, no regard for the United States Constitution.  ... Right, Sheriff?

"In a statement released on May 26, Helena-West Helena Mayor Kevin Smith stated, “First, let me say we have heard the concerns that have been expressed in the community, from many perspectives, and will continue to listen. Most importantly, we are all relieved that nobody was seriously harmed this morning.”

Not good enough.  Nowhere near.  Empty rhetoric.  When will this shit end?  When?  When will the jackbooted bastards finally smarten up.  How many murders of innocent civilians will it take?

"Truitt said he hopes his actions serve as a lesson for black men when they interact with police."

As reported in this publication week after week, and elsewhere, this is a problem across the board.  All races are victimized by these pieces of jackbooted shit.  ... Right, Sheriff?

“Sometimes doing what an officer tells you will get you in a terrible situation,” Truitt said, referencing his refusal to put his car in park. “I’m not supposed to be here, but I lived to tell my side of the story. Keep your hands in sight so that a police officer doesn’t have a reason to shoot you."

Sadly, the bastards don't need a reason.

Too busy lining County coffers with bogus tickets?

Highly reminiscent of our outrageously bought and paid for judiciary, Llano County prosecutors, Sheriff Bill Blackburn and his criminal SS jackbooted bastards in black who continue to egregiously disgrace themselves and the badge, do as they please regardless of the law and Constitution, carefully consider the following.  It's appalling.  Runs against the grain of everything our formerly great country once stood for.  No longer.

Police and prosecutors in Chicago can't seem to get their act together.  CBS News reports:

"A video of Chicago Police Department footage was leaked on social media that shows the fatal shooting [of] an unarmed woman holding her baby. CBS Chicago reports the video shows 24-year-old mother Brittany Hill being shot at point-blank range by someone driving by in a car in West Chicago. The footage shows Hill shielding her toddler from gunfire. CBS Chicago reported the shooting happened in the 1200 block of North Mason Avenue on the far West Side around 8:50 a.m. on Tuesday, May 28. The video is from a city camera in the area of Division and Mason. The video shows that as Hill gets out of her black sedan, a silver Chevy Impala drives down the street and pulls up to her. According to police, the occupants got out of the car and began shooting. Hill tried to take cover behind a car and used her body to cover the 1-year-old during the gunfire, according to police spokeswoman Michelle Tannehill. Hill was pronounced dead at West Suburban Hospital in Oak Park at 9:25 a.m. Area North detectives are investigating and believe the shooting was not a random act and that the woman was targeted due to gang conflicts, Tannehill said."

This woman died heroically using her body to shield  her child.  Uncommon Valor.  Here is the problem:

"The video footage was leaked on social media without the express consent of the Chicago Police Department, who called it "an unauthorized release." A police spokesman said in a statement on Twitter, "We have notified the state's attorney's office and opened an investigation to determine who electronically accessed the video and whether anything was released or compromised."

"We are taking this video release very seriously & working to establish its origin as this family deserves better. 2 men were arrested by CPD last week & this case is now before a criminal court. We have conferred with @CookCountySAO & opened an investigation. Full statement below https://t.co/yDHSgip1pS pic.twitter.com/KdigGBpI2a
    — Anthony Guglielmi (@AJGuglielmi) June 3, 2019"

This leak may compromise prosecution of both men charged with the crime:

"Police have now charged 39-year-old Michael Washington and 23-year-old Eric Adams in connection with Hill's death. Legal analyst Irv Miller told CBS Chicago the footage should not have been leaked and that the thousands of views the video has generated could complicate the prosecution of this case. "This is a major misstep by somebody in law enforcement," he said. "It has to come from the Chicago Police Department or someone at the states's attorney's office. They're the only ones who'd have access at this limited period of time." He also discussed what this means for prosecuting the two men who have been accused of the murder. "By having this leaked, to have the public see it now could result in problems later on in the trial because jurors, and we're all potential jurors, can't be exposed to things like this prior to the trial," Miller said. The leaked video could make it difficult to find an unbiased juror or force the trial to be relocated. Miller says in addition to the possible fallout for the murder case, it is possible that the person responsible for leaking the video could face felony charges of official misconduct."

Whoever leaked this had to have known better.

"Hill's family said they are aware of the video's release but wouldn't comment further."

What could they say?

Release of this video is an inexcusable f--kup.

Gutless law enforcement.  CBS News reports:

"The Florida deputy who failed to confront a gunman during last year's Parkland massacre has been arrested on 11 charges, prosecutors said Tuesday. Scot Peterson, 56, faces child neglect, culpable negligence and perjury charges, State Attorney Mike Satz said in the announcement.  Peterson, then a Broward County deputy, was on duty during the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School but never went inside. Satz said the charges carry a combined prison sentence of nearly 100 years. Peterson's bail was set at $102,000."

Sad, isn't it?

The Washington Post reports:

"The former Broward County sheriff’s deputy who did not pursue the gunman attacking a Parkland, Fla., high school last year was arrested Tuesday and charged with child neglect and negligence stemming from his actions that day. Scot Peterson, 56, was arrested and charged with 11 counts, including seven counts of child neglect, three counts of culpable negligence and one count of perjury, authorities said. His actions have been widely pilloried since the Feb. 14, 2018, attack at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, which ended with 17 students and staff killed. Peterson, the lone armed officer on campus during the bloodshed, was videotaped standing outside the school building while the massacre was taking place. Peterson has defended what he did by saying he did not know where the shots were coming from. "Broward State Attorney Mike Satz, the prosecutor whose office is handling the death-penalty case against the former student charged in the attack, said that Peterson was arrested after an expansive investigation by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. That agency had been investigating the law enforcement response to the shooting amid criticism of how multiple officers responded. A statewide panel investigating the shooting released a report assailing how officers responded as well as criticizing how the school handled security. While Peterson’s actions have been harshly criticized, the panel’s report described “several” Broward sheriff’s deputies as taking their time to put on or remove gear “while shots were being fired” — which contradicts the widely accepted practice of rushing to confront active assailants."

Amazing, isn't it?

"Broward County Sheriff Gregory Tony, who took over after his predecessor was suspended over his response to the Parkland massacre, said Tuesday that Peterson and another former deputy were officially terminated by the office as part of an ongoing investigation into their behavior on the day of the attack. “We cannot fulfill our commitment to always protect the security and safety of our Broward County community without doing a thorough assessment of what went wrong that day,” Tony said in a statement. “I am committed to addressing deficiencies and improving the Broward Sheriff’s Office.”

Democrats remain all talk, no action.  Extremely proficient at articulating what the most prevalent, pressing, exigent problems of the day happen to be.  Offer solutions that on the surface, rhetorically sound good.  Then, fail to follow through.  Move the goal posts as necessary when they hit a wall.  Usually, because their solutions have not been carefully thought out.  Been going on for decades.  ... Not that Republicans don't do precisely the same.

More noticeable lately for Democrats, however, because they have so miserably failed to rein in the Trump nazi, his henchmen.  -- Despite taking over the House in early January.  All talk, no effective action.  Won't even enforce ignored subpoenas.  Partisanship trumps principle.  To say nothing of increasingly gutless, criminally out of control, jackbooted, murderous law enforcement, -- who Democrats in the House have clearly failed to rein in.  Now, more of the same ineffective bullshit coming from one of the Democrats running for president.  CBS News reports:

"The relationship between police and the communities they serve is "frayed," says Democratic presidential candidate Julián Castro, and on Monday, he unveiled a proposal to mend it. His plan aims to increase accountability and transparency and end what he calls "over-aggressive" and "racially discriminatory" policing."

Empty, hollow, meaningless rhetoric.  Merely, re-states an exigent, ongoing criminal problem in law enforcement, a growing cancer metastasizing for decades.  Effectively, unchecked.  Allowed to grow unimpeded.  Talk alone will not excise this malignancy.

"The former Housing and Urban Development secretary is proposing policing changes like restricting the use of deadly force; making officers responsible for intervening if they know of or see fellow officers using excessive force or engaging in inappropriate conduct; and requiring law enforcement to get written consent for consensual car searches."

New laws, regulations, and Executive Orders will do nothing to impose the above when prosecutors are in bed with the jackbooted bastards in blue they work with on a daily basis.

"Castro previewed the plan Saturday during his presentation at MoveOn's "Big Ideas" candidate forum in California. He spoke with CBS News political correspondent Ed O'Keefe about the details of the plan. "We've seen video after video, incident after incident, of especially black men, who are gunned down and unarmed, at the hands of police officers," Castro told O'Keefe. "I know we have a lot of great officers, but it's not just a few bad apples. It's that the system is broken. I want to fix that system."

To fix it requires prosecution of criminal officers, not empty, hollow, meaningless rhetoric.  Nothing you've proposed will accomplish that, Mr. Castro.

"One major change to the system would be an executive order to demilitarize the police force. This would prohibit any federal funds granted to state and local government from buying high-caliber rifles, tracked and wheeled armored vehicles and other military weapons, vehicles and equipment."

That is not a permanent solution.  Could easily be changed by the next president.  As demonstrated repeatedly by the Trump nazi.

"Castro says he would work with Congress to end stop-and-frisk policies. During a speech in Orlando, Florida at the International Association of Chiefs of Police in October 2018, President Trump touted the controversial stop-and-frisk policy as one that works — despite data from the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of New York stating that the policies disproportionately targeted African American and Latino men. "New York City had a very strong program of stop-and-frisk. And it went from an unacceptably dangerous city to one of the safest cities in the country." Mr. Trump said at the time. "It's got to be properly applied, but stop-and-frisk works."

The hell it does.  Only a nazi dictator would so approve a policy that remains egregiously unconstitutional since officers have no probable cause and certainly is a clear violation of the Fourth Amendment.  Not only that, destroys all public faith and trust in the criminal jackbooted bastards in blue who impose it.  Endangers officers.  Encourages terrorism, facilitates ambushes.  All unwanted.

"Castro says he'll also work with Congress to lower the burden of proof to prosecute police officers for misconduct while investing in civilian oversight boards of local police departments. Castro is calling for stricter reporting requirements, which would require officers to report information "that covers any injury sustained as a result of a weapon discharge or arrest."

Empty rhetoric.  Prosecutors will ignore it.  So will the criminal jackbooted bastards in blue.  Castro is proposing nothing new.  We've heard this same old bullshit for decades.  Nothing has changed.

"Castro is also calling for fundamental reforms in the school system, with a goal to "end the school-to-prison pipeline." This would include eliminating the use of police officers as disciplinary agents and also providing federal grants to promote "positive and supporting school climates and reforming disciplinary practices." In May, Castro addressed these same concerns in the rollout of his education plan."

More empty rhetoric.  Will change nothing if there is no willingness and/or truly independent mechanism/system in place to prosecute the criminal jackbooted bastards in blue.

"He is also calling for increased funding for drug treatment and mental health support, as well as the establishment of partnerships between mental health units and first respondents. He's also suggesting alternative responses to 911 calls: "Support crisis intervention services would be equipped with medics, counselors, social workers and crisis workers as first responders rather than armed police officers."

Admirable goals, but no more than empty rhetoric since there is no willingness to systemically change anything.  No way to fund these changes in the current political atmosphere, regardless.

"Activist Samuel Sinyangwe, a cofounder of and data scientist for Campaign Zero, tells CBS News that Castro's plan builds on the policing work of the Obama Administration, saying that it "proposes a wide range of solutions that are proven to save lives and change policing outcomes."

More bullshit.  'Symbolism over substance.'  No more than empty, hollow, 'feel good' rhetoric.

Short of an unwanted, dreaded second American revolution already catastrophically looming over this, and many, many other issues, there is only one way this abuse will end.  Time for creation of a new federal agency whose sole function would be to investigate, arrest, charge, and prosecute corrupt, abusive, criminal officers, prosecutors, and judges in a special court whose sole function would be to adjudicate these cases.  Total independence.  Likelihood of such desperately needed change?  Near zero.

Savagery.  NBC News reports:

"The New York Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating a man accused of brutally raping a female acquaintance multiple times at his home in Queens. The woman, who is 29, jumped out of a window to escape. Michael Hosang, 53, is accused of raping the woman multiple times from 6 a.m. to noon on May 30, the NYPD said. He also punched the woman multiple times in the face, causing at least one fracture, police said. The victim was able to escape by jumping out of a window, according to police. Once she escaped, Hosang allegedly fled in a red Chevrolet pickup truck with Florida license plate JZEY32. Hosang is 5 feet 10 inches, weighs 200 pounds and is bald with brown eyes. The NYPD is offering a reward of $2,500 for information that leads to his capture."

Need to quickly capture this son of a bitch.

Organized religion is in a bind.  Hypocrisy?  Overwhelming.  In the following case, extremely dangerous.  ABC News reports:

"A Kentucky pastor is accused of trying to set up a threesome with two underage girls. The Courier Journal reports that 26-year-old Bobby J. Blackburn, pastor of the Elevate Church in Prestonsburg, was arrested last week and charged with using an electronic communication system to get a minor to commit a sex act. WYMT said Blackburn also owns a local Giovanni's pizza place, which plays Christian music and puts Bible verses on receipts. An arrest citation says Blackburn's business employs the girls, one of whom showed officers the sexual messages from Blackburn. The citation also accuses the pastor of threatening to fire a third girl if she didn't take the blame for sending the messages. The newspaper reported that it tried to reach Blackburn for comment without a response."

What could this gutless, duplicitous son of a bitch possibly say in 'defense' of the indefensible?

ABC News reports:

"Earlier Sunday, Trump stood on stage as the pastor of a Northern Virginia church asked God to give Trump wisdom to lead the country. Trump stood with David Platt, pastor of McLean Bible Church in Vienna as Platt made the request as part of a nationwide day of prayer for Trump that had been called for by the Rev. Franklin Graham."

The hypocrisy?  Stunning.  Considering Trump's business practices, his continuous congenital lying, his obstruction of justice as outlined in ten examples by Mueller in his Report, etc., to say the very least, pastors should be asking him to do the right thing.  Resign in disgrace.

Sadly, the above barely scratches the surface.  As reported each week in this publication and elsewhere.

Deranged duplicity. The Washington Post reports:

"Just weeks before the Supreme Court is expected to rule on whether the Trump administration can add a citizenship question to the 2020 Census, new evidence emerged Thursday suggesting the question was crafted specifically to give an electoral advantage to white Republicans."

Imagine that.  Couldn't be, could it?  Shameless.  Surprised?  Why?  LOL.

"The evidence was found in the files of the prominent Republican redistricting strategist Thomas Hofeller after his death in August. It reveals that Hofeller “played a significant role in orchestrating the addition of the citizenship question to the 2020 Decennial Census in order to create a structural electoral advantage for, in his own words, ‘Republicans and Non-Hispanic Whites,’” and that Trump administration officials purposely obscured Hofeller’s role in court proceedings, lawyers for plaintiffs challenging the question wrote in a letter to U.S. District Judge Jesse M. Furman. Furman was one of three federal judges who ruled against the question this year."

What webs we weave.  In Trump's case?  Based on deception.

"The letter drew on new information discovered on hard drives belonging to Hofeller, which were found accidentally by Hofeller’s estranged daughter. Stephanie Hofeller Lizon then shared them with the organization Common Cause for a gerrymandering lawsuit it is pursuing in North Carolina. The files show that Hofeller concluded in a 2015 study that adding a citizenship question to the 2020 Census “would clearly be a disadvantage to the Democrats” and benefit white Republicans in redistricting. Hofeller then pushed the idea with the Trump administration in 2017, according to the lawyers’ letter to Furman. The evidence, which was first reported by The New York Times, contradicts sworn testimony by Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross’s expert adviser A. Mark Neuman and senior Justice Department official John Gore, as well as other testimony by defendants, the letter said."

Guess who's lying.  LOL.

"The Commerce and Justice departments did not respond to questions about the new information."

Need time to concoct yet another lie?  LOL.

"The American Civil Liberties Union filed a motion in district court Thursday morning for “sanctions and any other relief the court deems appropriate, because of apparently untruthful testimony” by Trump administration officials in the earlier trials, said Dale Ho, who argued the case at the Supreme Court on behalf of the ACLU."

Clearly, nothing coming from the Trump regime can be accepted at face value as truthful.

"It is unclear how the information might affect deliberations at the Supreme Court. The ACLU Thursday afternoon filed a letter with the court to “respectfully inform” it of the motion filed in the New York district court and that a hearing was scheduled for next week. The letter repeated the charge contained in the earlier letter to Furman that Hofeller played a significant role in adding the citizenship question to the 2020 Census “to create an electoral advantage for, in his own words, ‘Republicans and Non-Hispanic Whites,’ and that Petitioners (the government) obscured his role through affirmative misrepresentations.”

Jesus Christ.  Give me a break.  Called lying.  Call it for what it is, lying.

Report goes on and on.  Be interesting to see what effect the truth ultimately has on the outcome of the case at the Supreme Court.  Think the five Republican nazis on the Court will shamelessly go along to get along?  Reward Trump and his henchmen for overloading the Court with Republican national socialists, fascists, nazis?  LOL.

NPR reports:

"A major Republican redistricting strategist played a role in the Trump administration's push to get a citizenship question on forms for the 2020 census. Thomas Hofeller, who died last August, concluded in a 2015 report that adding the question would produce the data needed to redraw political maps that would be "advantageous to Republicans and Non-Hispanic Whites," according to a court filing released Thursday. Plaintiffs in one of the New York-based lawsuits over the question say that Hofeller later ghostwrote an early draft of the administration's request for the question and helped form a reason for adding the question to forms for the national head count. The Trump administration has maintained it wants census responses to the question — "Is this person a citizen of the United States?" — to better enforce Voting Rights Act protections for racial and language minorities."

Disingenuous bullshit.  Forget?  Trump and his henchmen are congenital liars.

"But Hofeller's documents uncovered through a separate lawsuit suggest administration officials were aware that including the question "would not benefit Latinx voters, but rather would facilitate significantly reducing their political power," argue attorneys with the law firm Arnold & Porter, the ACLU and the New York Civil Liberties Union in a letter to U.S. District Judge Jesse Furman. The revelations come weeks before the Supreme Court is expected to issue a major ruling on whether the Trump administration can add the citizenship question to the 2020 census. A total of seven lawsuits have been filed around the country against the administration's plans for the question, which are currently blocked by orders from three federal judges at lower courts. If the question is included on the census, Census Bureau research shows it is highly likely to scare households with noncitizens, especially within the Latino and immigrant communities, from taking part in the constitutionally mandated head count of every person living in the U.S. In their letter to Furman, the plaintiffs' attorneys also say that Hofeller's role was kept hidden by Justice Department official John Gore and an adviser on census issues to Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross."

Deception.

"Ross oversees the Census Bureau and approved adding the question. Both Gore and the adviser, A. Mark Neuman, sat for questioning under oath last year for the citizenship question lawsuits. Gore, however, only recently disclosed as part of a congressional investigation by the House Committee on Oversight and Reform that Neuman provided an early draft of the Justice Department's letter requesting the question. That draft letter includes a paragraph about using the Voting Rights Act to justify the question. It matches word for word a paragraph found in a document among Hofeller's files. The plaintiffs' attorneys say that shows Hofeller ghostwrote a portion of the draft letter. The attorneys argue that the newly revealed evidence contradicts Gore's and Neuman's sworn testimony for the lawsuits and have asked Furman to consider issuing sanctions or other penalties.

"Before his death, Hofeller appeared to predict the legal battle that ensued after Ross announced his decision to add the citizenship question. In his 2015 study commissioned by The Washington Free Beacon, a conservative news outlet, he wrote that using census responses to a citizenship question for redistricting "can be expected to provoke a high degree of resistance from Democrats and the major minority groups in the nation." "The chances of a U.S. Supreme Court's mandate to add a citizenship question to the 2020 Decennial Census are not high," he wrote."

The following is a critique of an editorial written by Henry Olsen, Columnist for The Washington Post.  Is highly demonstrative of the failure of the American public and the media to fully understand the nature of the threat to liberty posed by the Trump nazi and others who think like him.  The Washington Post reports:

"President Trump shouldn’t have called London Mayor Sadiq Khan a “stone cold loser” as he touched down in Britain for his state visit. But neither should Khan, a member of the country’s left-leaning Labour Party, have first likened Trump to one of the “fascists of the 20th Century” — because he’s not."

The above quote is partially true.  First, Trump demonstrated his profound ignorance and bigotry by making a false statement and calling the London Mayor a name that is demonstrably untrue.  Second, the latter part of the quote is partially true.  Trump is ideologically precisely where Hitler was when the Nazi Fuhrer became Chancellor of Germany in 1933.  Before the invasion of Poland, before the concentration camps, all the atrocities.

The ideology, however, is that of a dictator, a fascist dictator, with the worst yet to come. Fascism, nazism, national socialism defined as the pernicious blend of government, business, and religion. 'Justified' by perversion and bastardization of the latter.  Exactly what happened in Nazi Germany.  Exactly what happened in Fascist Italy.  Exactly what's happening right here, right now.

Was set in motion decades before, dating back to the Fifties and the McCarthy Era.  Exacerbated by the inauguration of Richard Nixon, January 20, 1969.  Nixon's concerted, determined assault on the Supreme Court, progress made by the Court at the time vis a vis all civil and constitutional rights and liberties in the Sixties.  The Right never understood the difference between conservatism and fascism.  Still doesn't.  Conservatives want as little government as possible.  Fascists thrive on it.

Closet fascists remain quite expert at making the following disingenuous, phony argument:

"Calling one’s political opponents outrageous names is one of the oldest tricks in the book. Even the world’s greatest statesmen have done so. British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, faced with a strong challenge from the Labour Party just weeks after Nazi Germany’s surrender in 1945, said that Labour would inevitably suppress freedom and install “some form of Gestapo” if elected."

While that didn't wind up happening, that's precisely how power is abused, how dictators seize power.  Precisely, what Trump and his henchmen are perniciously doing currently.  This nazi and his defenders determinedly, concertedly ignore the fact that in our supposedly democratic republic power is shared by the Executive, Congress, and the Judiciary.  All three branches equal and a check and balance on the other.  Trump and his henchmen continue to ignore the judiciary, continue to ignore congressional subpoenas.  This is a problem.  Blatant abuse of power.

The following is beside the point, worse, clueless:

"Left-leaning politicians have called conservatives “fascists” since the end of World War II."

Republicans during the McCarthy Era were not conservatives.  Nowhere near.  They were fascists.  Presented an exigent threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties.  Worse?  They were insane: 'A Red Under Every Bed.'  Forget?

"Even Ronald Reagan got into the act. When Reagan, as president, awarded conservative icon Barry Goldwater the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1986, Goldwater remarked in a call with the president that Reagan had called him a "Fascist SOB" when they first met. (Reagan was a liberal then.) But just because a word is bandied about a lot doesn’t make it less hurtful or true."

While Goldwater was indeed nowhere near as rabid as other Republican nazis during the McCarthy era, his ideology was dangerous.  The public recognized this in 1964.  Precisely, why he lost to Johnson in the presidential election.  Why re-write history, Mr. Olsen, worse, ignore reality?

"Fascism is a totalitarian philosophy that directly opposes democracy. It argues that the nation, as embodied in the state, is supreme. Fascists further argue that only one party can represent the whole nation and direct the state. Free elections, free speech, and free markets have to go."

The above quote is indeed a true statement.  Precisely, what's happening today.  Exactly, what's been gradually happening since the McCarthy Era.  The state is supreme.  Look at all the statutes, regulations, corrupt and abusive law enforcement.  For all practical purposes and for years, Republican fascists have been running our formerly great country into the ground.  All levels and branches of government.

How are there 'free' elections when Republican fascists gerrymander, restrict voter access, boot people unjustly from voter rolls?  All to ensure Republicans unfairly attain office.  Impose Voter ID when there is no demonstrable level of voter fraud.  List can go on and on.  As covered week after week in this publication and elsewhere.  Free speech is under assault.  Called 'disorderly conduct' by the criminal jackbooted bastards in blue.

'Free' markets?  Where?  The market is owned, manipulated, looted by those with the wealth and means to do so.  With impunity.  Capitalism is laissez-faire, that is, either poorly regulated or not regulated at all.  Zero-sum, winner-take-all.  Precisely, why the wealth gap is the largest in history.  Middle class, going extinct.

The following will happen if Trump and others like him remain unchecked.  We are not immune:

"That’s exactly what the “fascists of the 20th century” did. Within three months of coming to power, Germany’s Adolf Hitler had abolished all competing political parties. Benito Mussolini took longer to eradicate the forms of democracy but obtained dictatorial powers from the Italian legislature nearly immediately upon becoming prime minister. Both men ruthlessly suppressed the press, placing mass media under government supervision and control."

We've already seen the above beginning to happen over the last 65 years.  The only reason to date why it has not come into full fruition is because too many of us are well aware of the history of Hitler's Third Reich and Mussolini's Fascist Italy.  Continue to resist.

The following quote not only misses the point, but ignores the reality of how this system truly works, currently operates:

"Twentieth-century fascists also extended state power to the economy. Private property was respected in form, but industrialists, bankers, unions and others acted in accord with government coordination and according to government plans. Individuals could get rich under fascism, but only with the approval and assistance of the state."

Mr. Olsen is caustically reminded the top of the food chain now owns its bought and paid for shills in government.  All branches, all levels.  For all practical purposes, owns the state.  Trump, proof positive.  That's the problem.  That's the difference between the earlier regimes and today.

Wake up, Mr. Olsen.  You're sound asleep.  Determinedly ignorant of how this cancer metastasizes:

"Compare these regimes with Trump’s United States. We all remember the frightening days of the early regime, when an ascendant autocrat demanded unlimited power and a compliant Republican Congress went along. The first days of the new state media conglomerate were earth-shattering as respected journalists were fired or imprisoned. National economic councils planned to organize U.S. business to achieve “a new national, social, industrial, and economic mobilization on a scale not seen since World War II and the New Deal era,” upending markets around the globe. Trumpism reached into every corner of national life. Or maybe we don’t remember those things. Because they never happened."

Jesus Christ.  So blind you can't see the current abuse of power, corruption, congenital lies, -- demonstrably over 10,000 since this national socialist took office? That ignorant, Mr. Olsen?  Or, is it aggressive stupidity?

"Instead of the abolition of democracy we got angry tweets about some media being “the enemy of the people." Instead of concentration of political power in one man’s hands, we got a White House so disorganized that people inside openly flouted the president’s desires. Instead of economic centralization, we got turbocharged capitalism — thanks to the 2017 Republican tax cut. And we got an election where the opposition mobilized a record-high turnout and won back control of the House."

Jesus Christ.  Give me a break.  LOL.  The damage done by this insane fascist is across the board.  Will take decades to correct.  Our standing with our allies has been eviscerated.  Our enemies no longer know what to expect since the Trump nazi has become so erratic.  The Republican tax cut lined the pockets at the top of the food chain off the backs of the bottom and quickly vanishing middle class.

Not only that, increased the national debt to over $23 trillion.  No problem with that?  Yes, Democrats took back the House.  Means nothing, however, since they've done nothing to rein in your fuhrer, the Trump nazi since taking office at the beginning of January.  Can't, won't even enforce their subpoenas.  Wake up, Mr. Olsen.  You're out to lunch.  Out of touch.  Hopelessly, divorced from reality.  Sound like a delusional Trump supporter.

Coup de grace?  Icing on the cake?  Get this:

"We didn’t get fascism; we got a bizarro-world reality show set in the West Wing."

We got both.  Too blind to see?  Too deaf to hear?

Far more delusional?  Get this:

"Some might say modern fascism is different, that it envelops its prey in velvet gloves rather than crushing it with iron fists. But even those world leaders who arguably are creating a more moderate fascism actually do things to consolidate political and economic power in their hands."

You're delusional.  The last sentence in the above quote is quite indicative of your closet support of fascism.  The worst is yet to come.  Far worse to come.  It's thinking like yours, more accurately lack thereof, that's directly responsible for what's happened in our formerly great country since the McCarthy Era, Mr. Olsen.

More highly delusional distortion of reality:

"Russia’s Vladimir Putin is perhaps the best example of modern fascism in action. Like the old fascists, he glorifies the nation (his party is called “United Russia”) and equates the nation — that is, the people — with the state — that is, the government. Like the old fascists, he identifies himself with the state and portrays his tenure in office as essential to the nation’s well-being. He has seized control of mass media, either directly or through allied oligarchs, and mass political opposition is effectively suppressed. Through selective prosecution and occasional mysterious deaths, potential competitors get the message to play ball or else. Accordingly, he reigns supreme, and has for nearly 20 years."

Mr. Olsen, you miss the point.  Clearly, don't understand the difference between both political extremes, that is, the difference between communism and nazism.  The former has no God, no Supreme Being.  The latter bastardizes Christianity to perversely 'justify' itself.  The end result, bottom line is one and the same.  Dictatorial rule.  Wake up.  Putin is, and remains, an unreformed communist.  Forget?  Was a member of the former KGB.  Clearly, you have no clue what you're talking about.

The following is achingly beside the point:

"Trump is crude and rude. He is often imprudent and often untruthful. He is, at best, racially insensitive and has demonstrated a callous disregard throughout his life for the feelings of women to whom he is sexually attracted. None of these traits are commendable, but none make him a 21st-century fascist."

Who said they did?  You're talking out your ass, Mr. Olsen.  Those traits indeed make him a boor, and a bore.  His abuse of power, actions as president, ignorance of Congress and the Judiciary, etc., however, do indeed make him a tyrant, a fascist tyrant.

"What he is, instead, is a bully. It is his most salient characteristic, his default position."

He is indeed a bully.  So was Hitler.  So was Mussolini.  Have no clue?  That detached from reality?

"But so, famously, was our 36th president, Lyndon B. Johnson. LBJ was also crude and rude, imperious and impulsive and so famed for lying that the phrase “the credibility gap” arose to measure the distance between what his administration said — particularly about Vietnam — and the truth. Both men are the sort of people avoided by polite company. Neither was a fascist."

You falsely equate, disingenuously conflate boorishness in both men with ideology.  Worse, Trump is being criminally investigated by both state and federal prosecutors in New York for good reason.  Johnson was not.  While Johnson and his henchmen lied about Vietnam, they were not congenital liars.  Not like Trump, -- who has demonstrably lied over 10,000 times since taking office.  Does so publicly on a daily basis.

Trump has clearly, repeatedly, demonstrably embraced the pernicious blend of government, business, and religion making him a fascist.  Johnson did not.  Both men are as different from one another as night and day.

"Democracy survived LBJ. It will survive Trump, too."

Wake up.  ... Hear the rumble?  An unwanted, dreaded second American revolution catastrophically looming.  On this, and many, many other issues.

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.

Unbridled deception.  NBC News reports:

"Earlier Thursday, Trump tweeted that he had "nothing to do with Russia helping me to get elected." But he walked back that statement while speaking to reporters shortly after the tweet, saying that "Russia did not help me get elected." "I helped me get elected," Trump said. "Russia had nothing to do with it at all." Responding to Trump's earlier tweet, George Conway, a conservative attorney, frequent Trump critic and husband of top White House adviser Kellyanne Conway, made note of Trump "finally" admitting that Russia sought to boost his candidacy. "Well, that’s what the investigation was about," Conway wrote. "The investigation found plenty of evidence that Russia did just that. It thus wasn’t a 'Witch Hunt' or 'Hoax.' So why did you repeatedly try to obstruct it?"

Indeed.  Can you imagine the pillow talk between Conway and his wife?  LOL.

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.

Trying to placate a president who behaves like a two-year-old?  CBS News reports:

"Officers were told to keep a warship named for the late Sen. John McCain out of President Trump's view during his Memorial Day weekend visit to Japan, CBS News has confirmed. CBS News senior national security correspondent David Martin reports that a U.S. Indo-Pacific Command official wrote an email to Navy and Air Force officials before Mr. Trump's arrival. It included instructions for the proper landing areas for helicopters and preparations for the USS Wasp, the ship on which the president was to speak. The official then issued a third instruction: "USS John McCain needs to be out of sight," according to the email, which was first obtained by The Wall Street Journal. The Washington Post and Associated Press also confirmed its existence. The Washington Post's Josh Dawsey tweeted late Wednesday that, "Admin officials confirm WSJ story. Request was made to make sure McCain ship wasn't visible. Aides say Trump wasn't involved in request — but it was made to prevent any potential ire from POTUS."

Jesus Christ.  Think the Trump nazi fit to be president, -- or, fit to be tied?  LOL.

"The Journal reported that, when a Navy commander expressed surprise at the instruction, the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command official answered, "First I heard of it as well." The official said he would talk to the White House Military Office to get more information about the directive, the Journal said. In response to the story, Mr. Trump - who feuded with McCain publicly for years and at one point mocked his military service - tweeted that he "was not informed about anything having to do with the Navy Ship USS John S. McCain during my recent visit to Japan." The president notably does not say that he was not informed about the ship before his visit. A message seeking clarification was left late Wednesday for White House press secretary Sarah Sanders. The president again denied the reports on Thursday, telling reporters at the White House firmly that he was "not involved" in the decision-making process. "I would not have done that. I was not a big fan of John McCain in any way shape or form. To me John McCain, I wasn't a fan. But I would never do a thing like that. Now, someone did it because they thought I didn't like him. They were well-meaning, I will say. But I wouldn't have," Mr. Trump said."

Sad, isn't it?  Pathetic.

"In Jakarta, Indonesia, on Thursday morning, Acting U.S. Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan told reporters, "When I read about it this morning, it was the first I heard about it." He later told reporters traveling with him to a security conference in Singapore that he would ask his chief of staff to look into the reports. "I never authorized, I never approved any action around the movement or activities regarding that ship," Shanahan said. He said he would never dishonor the memory of a great American like McCain or disrespect the young men and women in the crew of the ship."

Here's the heartrending issue:

"Mr. Trump was not welcome at McCain's funeral and raised the White House's U.S. flag back to full-staff shortly after McCain's death, despite U.S. Flag Code stating that it should remain at half-staff for another day. The flag returned to half-staff later in the day. McCain's daughter, Meghan, tweeted Wednesday that Mr. Trump will "always be deeply threatened by the greatness of my dad's incredible life." She added, "There is a lot of criticism of how much I speak about my dad, but nine months since he passed, Mr. Trump won't let him RIP. So I have to stand up for him. "It makes my grief unbearable." She later addressed the controversy on air on ABC's "The View" on Thursday, saying the "president's actions have consequences." "When you repeatedly are attacking my father and war heroes it creates a culture in the military where people are clearly fearful to show my father's name," McCain said. "That's what started this again … if you're afraid to have a hat or show the name of the warship which is named after my grandfather, who was an officer in the Navy." The USS John S. McCain is named for the late senator and his father and grandfather, who were both Navy admirals."

Hat's off, Ms. McCain.  Your father was a truly great man.  A hero.  A patriot.  A national treasure.  Well-respected.

NBC News reports:

"The Pentagon has told the White House to stop politicizing the military amid a furor over a Trump administration order to obscure the Navy ship named for the late Sen. John McCain from view during President Donald Trump’s recent visit to Japan. Acting Secretary of Defense Patrick Shanahan told his chief of staff on Friday to speak with the White House military office “and reaffirm his mandate that the Department of Defense will not be politicized,” Shanahan's spokesman, Army Lt. Col. Joseph Buccino, said. "The chief of staff reported that he did reinforce this message." Shanahan confirmed details about a Navy email that said the White House military office wanted the USS John McCain kept “out of sight” when Trump was in Japan about a week ago. The internal Navy email came to light last week, triggering a storm of outrage. Trump, who long feuded with McCain, has said he knew nothing about the request, but added that “somebody did it because they thought I didn’t like him, OK? And they were well-meaning, I will say.”

You're an idiot, Mr. 'President.'  A disgrace to yourself, your office, and the public you supposedly serve.

"Shanahan told reporters traveling with him to South Korea on Sunday that he is not planning to seek an investigation by the Pentagon’s internal watchdog into the matter “because there was nothing carried out” by the Navy. He added that he still needs to gather more information about exactly what happened and what service members did. “How did the people receiving the information — how did they treat it,” Shanahan said. “That would give me an understanding on the next steps” to take. Shanahan did not detail what those steps could be. He also said he spoke with McCain’s wife, Cindy, a few days ago, but declined to provide any details."

Hard to believe the late Senator's wife and daughter were happy campers.

"The order to keep the Navy destroyer out of sight reflected what appeared to be an extraordinary White House effort to avoid offending an unpredictable president known for holding a grudge, including a particularly bitter one against McCain."

Clearly, sadly, Trump has never grown up.

"Acting White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney on Sunday defended the request during the president’s visit, arguing it was not “unreasonable.”

Another goddamned, clueless idiot.

"Appearing on “Meet the Press," Mulvaney said “it was probably someone on the advance team” in the White House who was responsible, adding that the unidentified staffer who requested to hide the ship would not be fired. "The fact that some 23, 24-year-old person on the advance team went to that site and said, 'Oh my goodness, here's the John McCain, we all know how the president feels about the former senator, maybe that's not the best backdrop, can somebody look into moving it?' That's not an unreasonable thing," Mulvaney said."

You're an idiot, Mr. Mulvaney.  Unfit to be acting White House Chief of Staff.  Need to be reining in your delusional fuhrer, the Trump nazi.  Not excusing and supporting fellow idiots who are desperately attempting to placate a president who is acting more like a two-year-old than President of the United States.

"The president's feeling towards the former senator are well known," he said. "They are well known throughout the office, they are well known in the media, but to think you're gonna get fired over this is silly."

You're brain-dead, Mr. Mulvaney.  Out to lunch.

"Asked what he has learned about the incident so far, Shanahan said he was told that despite the White House request, the Navy did not move the ship and that a barge that was in front of it was moved before Trump arrived. He said that a tarp that had been draped over the ship’s name was removed, but that it was put there for maintenance, not to obscure its identity. Asked directly if members of his senior staff were aware of the White House request before the president’s visit, Shanahan said he’s been told they did not know. He also has said he was not aware of the request and that he would never have authorized it. What is still unclear, however, is who at the Pentagon may have known about the request and either agreed with it or chose not to discourage it. It’s also not clear whether Navy leaders deliberately chose the McCain crew as one of the ships to be on holiday leave during Trump’s visit, or if other measures were taken to ensure that the McCain was not visible from where the president stood when he arrived on the USS Wasp to make remarks. The warship, commissioned in 1994, was originally named for the senator’s father and grandfather, both Navy admirals named John Sidney McCain. Last year, the Navy rededicated the ship to honor the senator as well."

As well it should have.  To have hidden the backdrop of this warship from the Trump nazi, would have been an insult to all three McCain men, the ship itself, and the crew.

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.

The following is further proof positive our fuhrer, the Trump nazi, has never grown up. The Washington Post reports:

"President Trump raised a familiar complaint — “unfair” coverage by CNN — in a pair of Monday morning tweets. But this time he called on supporters to boycott the cable news network’s corporate parent, AT&T, to drive the point home. “I believe that if people stoped [sic] using or subscribing to AT&T, they would be forced to make big changes at CNN, which is dying in the ratings anyway,” Trump tweeted. “It is so unfair with such bad, Fake News!”

Trump is a liar.  CNN, like most major news outlets, is reporting the news accurately.  As best it can.  At a time when truth has become a moving target.  The truth is intolerable for any nazi fuhrer.  Forget?  Trump has demonstrably lied over 10,000 times since taking office.  Wouldn't know truth if it figuratively bit him hard on his achingly clueless ass.

"The president has repeatedly taken aim at the news network, which he routinely derides as “fake news,” and many of its on-air personalities over their coverage of him and his administration. Trump was vocal in his opposition to AT&T’s $85 billion acquisition of Time Warner — “too much concentration of power in the hands of too few, he has said. But critics contend his position is intrinsically linked to his ire at CNN."

No question.  Yet, Trump fails to mention Fox News has become an infomercial for him and his henchmen since taking office.  -- Talking about the news department itself, not the pundits.  Precisely, why the Fox News Department is no longer quoted in this publication as it had been in years past.

"The Justice Department sued to try and stop the deal on the grounds that it violated anti-trust laws, but a federal appeals court upheld the merger in late February, giving the entertainment giant WarnerMedia extensive power over a wide array of television, film and video game properties. House Democrats have since pushed for documents pertaining to the administration’s handling of the deal, which the White House has so far refused to provide."

Why?  What are you and your henchmen desperately trying to cover up, Mr. 'President?' What?

"Last spring, the New Yorker reported that Trump had asked the director of the National Economic Council to persuade the Justice Department to block the combination. Gary Cohn, who held the job at the time, reportedly refused."

Think it proper of the Trump nazi to do so?

"Trump has often used Twitter to go after companies that clash with his agenda. He’s threatened Ford and General Motors for not moving all production to the U.S. and argued for higher postage rates for Amazon, a move many interpreted as a swipe at Amazon’s founder and chief executive Jeff Bezos, who also owns The Washington Post. AT&T and CNN did not immediately respond to request from The Washington Post for comment."

What could they say?  LOL.

"The tweets were among a stream of complaints and criticisms Trump posted on Twitter on Monday morning, just before arriving in London for a state visit. He lashed out at the city’s mayor, Sadiq Khan, who said the United Kingdom was wrong to “roll out the red carpet” for Trump’s visit. The president misspelled Khan’s name, called him a “stone cold loser” and compared him to New York mayor Bill de Blasio. He also weighed in on the U.S.-China trade war, claiming that “many firms are leaving China for other countries, including the United States, to avoid paying the tariffs.”

That's bullshit.  Simply untrue.  Not only that, consumers and businesses are looted to pay the tariffs.

"Trump sparked debate in Britain last week after he called past comments by Meghan Markle, the wife of Prince Harry, “nasty.” During the 2016 election campaign, she’d accused Trump of being “misogynistic” and “divisive.” On Sunday, Trump lashed out at CNN as he denied the “nasty” comment, despite a recording of his words in an interview with the Sun tabloid."

Then again, Trump can't, won't be confused by the truth.  What idiot can be?

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.

Think exceptions for rape or incest vis a vis access to abortion are the answer?  Wake up.  The following quotes are from an editorial written by Cazembe Murphy Jackson.  CBS News reports:

"Louisiana on Thursday became the most recent addition to a dishonorable list of states imposing abortion restrictions so draconian that they don’t include an exemption in cases of rape or incest. The laws trample on the beliefs of most Americans, who overwhelmingly support exceptions in abortion restrictions, including a sizable 45 percent of Republicans who think abortion should be legal in cases of medical necessity, rape and incest. These extreme abortion bans have caused outrage among even some anti-abortion leaders and politicians. But if Americans really want to ensure that those who have suffered rape or incest, as I did, are able to terminate the pregnancies that result from these crimes, they need to realize that adding a few words for exceptions to laws otherwise prohibiting abortions doesn’t actually protect these victims. If the state has dramatically limited access to other abortions, they will face dramatically limited access as well."

The above is beside the point.  Who the hell are Republican nazis to dictate to a woman what she can and cannot do with HER uterus?  Direct violation of the First Amendment Establishment Clause, church-state separation, that is, freedom from religion.  Why does the GOP nazi element in our formerly great country insist on forcing its national socialist, fascist ideology and religious views on the rest of us by statute?  It's un-American.  Traitorous.  Treasonous.  Outrageously unconstitutional.

"The process to get an exemption is completely unrealistic for most individuals who have been raped and found out they’re pregnant; it can be confusing, bureaucratic, onerous and challenging to find information, and policies vary in each state. Perhaps worst of all, rape exceptions do additional harm to survivors like me by placing the burden of proof on us and implicitly questioning whether our version of events can be believed. It imposes a time-consuming, emotional ordeal at a juncture when we just need to get to the nearest clinic."

The above is true, currently, for ANY woman pregnant and desperately seeking an abortion.  Why should ANY woman seeking an abortion have to put up with this shit?  Why?  Republican fascists and anyone else who support a ban on the right to an abortion present an exigent threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties.  Our formerly great country is a democratic republic in name only.

... No more than a de facto fascist police-state since at least 9/11, dating back in reality to January 20, 1969 when Richard Nixon took office.  When the fascist son of a bitch began dismantling all gains made during the Sixties vis a vis civil and constitutional rights and liberties.  With rare exception, was all downhill from that point.  Greed trumped principle.  Precisely, why we've fought undeclared war after undeclared war to line the pockets of the unbridled corporate management suite.

We see the fruits of this now, as our formerly great country remains frighteningly divided.  As unbridled, ineffectively regulated, essentially laissez-faire capitalism has turned into a zero-sum, winner-take-all achingly cruel, increasingly vicious game.  Where the top of the food chain owns its bought and paid for shills in government, all branches, all levels.  As the middle class becomes an endangered species.  As both major political parties place partisanship ahead of principle.  As an unwanted, dreaded second American revolution catastrophically looms on an increasing number of issues.

The following is some pretty rough stuff.  Seatbelts on.

"I say this as someone who did everything society instructed me to do after my rape nearly two decades ago, when I was a 20-year-old college junior in small-town Texas. I was on financial aid, going to class diligently and working hard so I could graduate. One evening during finals, while walking home from the library, I was raped by four men. At the time, I identified as a lesbian (now, I identify as a transgender man). I was wearing masculine clothes, and the men decided to violate me because of my gender expression and sexual orientation. “Corrective rape,” as it’s sometimes called, is sexual violence perpetrated against queer-identifying people as punishment for living as our most authentic selves. More than 60 percent of transgender people are estimated to have experienced sexual assault, while another one in eight lesbians have. According to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention statistics, sexual assault among queer people is as high or higher than the rate among heterosexual people. This is one of the many reasons why abortion is a queer-health issue. Following the rape, I told my mom and I reported it to the police. I thought the police would support me, but instead I felt dismissed. It comes as no surprise to me that, given the degree of skepticism rape claims receive from the police, it’s estimated only four in 10 rapes are reported and, of those, two-thirds go unsolved."

Equally to the point, why is there no follow-up vis a vis unprocessed rape kits all across our formerly great country?  Why has law enforcement dropped the ball on this problem?

"About six weeks after the rape, I found out I was pregnant. I immediately knew I should get an abortion; all I wanted was to finish school, and the thought of continuing the pregnancy instead made me want to die. Thankfully, it was legal for me to get the procedure done in Texas at that time. I was forced to take out a payday loan with a high interest rate to cover the $300 cost, but that made my abortion possible. A few days later, I underwent the procedure. I was “lucky” in that I was able to legally get an abortion, scrape together the funds to do so and — had I needed to prove that I was a victim of rape to receive the procedure — was able to go to the police. But rape exemptions don’t take into account those of us who don’t want to call the police because the police are often not helpful, particularly to survivors from communities of color. And what happens when the police are the rapists?"

The above is a problem all across our formerly great country.  Not only to the LGBTQ community and people of color, however.  Across the board.

"Exemption laws that make it the survivors’ responsibility to prove that a rape has occurred by filing a police report, among other reporting requirements that vary by state, place tremendous added pressure on someone already dealing with the emotions from the rape and the subsequent pregnancy. And to have to handle all of this within days of a missed period, often at a very young age? It’s a violation all over again to have to prove what happened and why we need an abortion. No one should be violated while exercising their rights."

Again, this is true across the board.  All women.  The nazi element in our formerly great country delusionally believes it owns your uterus, ladies. Does it? Don't want an abortion?  Don't have one.  Don't force your views on others by statute.

"As Michelle Alexander asked in her moving New York Times column, how would a survivor who doesn’t have evidence or didn’t want to report it access an abortion if they were required to prove they’d been raped to get one? And what about others who want to end the cycle of violence created by the prison industrial complex by not engaging with the police? I have come to embrace this approach, since as a Black trans man, going to the police is rarely an option — I simply don’t feel safe. I expect to be treated as a perpetrator rather than a survivor. How does everyone like this get an abortion after a rape?"

This remains an exigent issue for all in this country, not just people of color.  Not just the LGBTQ community.  Law enforcement cannot be trusted to do the right thing.  Not only vis a vis sexual assault, but across the board.

"Exemptions also create a hierarchy of reasons for an abortion, making rape-qualifying abortions the “good abortions” and relegating those who don’t meet that standard to pursuing less safe or even criminalized methods while the stigma on them increases."

That's right.  If the nazi element in our formerly great country has its way, there'll be a return to back alley abortions, coat hangers, unsafe, botched abortions,  -- and dead women.  Wake up.

"The truth is, abortion bans harm all those who need to end pregnancies, even those who theoretically are protected by exemptions. Exceptions are nothing but an empty idea; they’re not a practical way to ensure survivors receive health care. If Americans want survivors like me to be able to terminate their pregnancies — and the vast majority of the population does — abortion needs to be available to everyone."

... Hear the rumble?  An unwanted, dreaded second American revolution catastrophically looming on this, and many, many other issues.  Wake up.

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.

Think Republicans aren't beginning to wake up vis a vis the Trump nazi?  LOL.  Forget?  Greed rules.  Trumps all.  Literally.  The Washington Times reports:

"President Trump’s decision to slap tariffs on Mexico has angered key parts of his coalition of supporters in Washington, who say what he’s doing is not only stretching the law, but is bad policy to boot."

Will certainly cost not only their constituents, but businesses across the board.

"From top Republican senators to business and conservative pressure groups, the denunciations flowed quickly on Thursday night and Friday morning, after the president issued a lengthy statement explaining his plan. The first 5% tariff will hit on June 10, covering every import from Mexico. The rate will ratchet up to 10% in July and grow 5% more each month until it reaches 25%, the president said. Sen. Charles E. Grassley, the most senior Republican in the Senate and chairman of the Finance Committee, was the first major figure to denounce the move, saying it was a “misuse” of the president’s powers."

You think?  LOL.  Only now waking up to the fact your nazi fuhrer has been abusing power the last two-plus years?  Give me a break.  LOL.

"Fellow Iowa Republican Sen. Joni Ernst also signaled opposition, saying slapping new tariffs at a time when the U.S. is trying to win approval of a trade deal “isn’t the right path forward.” And Sen. Martha McSally, an Arizona Republican whose state has been among the hardest hit by the border crisis, said something needs to be done, but the tariffs aren’t the answer. “While I support the President’s intention of stopping unchecked illegal immigration, I do not support these types of tariffs, which will harm our economy and be passed onto Arizona small businesses and families,” she said."

Where have you been all this time, Senator?  Think your constituents aren't being royally f--ked by all the tariffs he's imposed on goods from China and others across the globe to date?

"She said Mexico does need to do more, but “Congress must also do their job” by passing a bill to shut down the weak U.S. policies that invite more than 4,000 illegal immigrants a day to jump the border."

Wake up, Senator.  Time to smell the coffee.  Conveniently, forget?  Suffering from amnesia?  The United States is responsible for this mass migration.  Has interfered in Central and South American affairs for decades.  Supported Extreme Right regimes for decades, delusionally fearing Marxist regimes that were already clearly failing.  Now, the chickens are coming home to roost.  Poverty and violence are driving this ongoing fiasco.  A wall and tariffs will do nothing to solve this problem.  Nothing at all.  'Symbolism over substance.'

"Business groups ranging from the National Association of Manufacturers to the Business Roundtable also said the tariffs would punish Americans by raising prices on the goods they buy, while undermining the U.S.-Mexico-Canada (USMCA) trade agreement."

... While the Trump nazi delusionally continues to falsely claim the countries he's imposed tariffs on are footing the bill.  Forget?  Trump is a congenital liar.  Where's your outrage all this time?  Where?  Consumers and businesses are paying the tariffs.  Mercilessly looted.  You don't know that, Senator?

"The National Taxpayers Union, often a backer of Mr. Trump’s fiscal moves, was perhaps the harshest of all. Brian Riley, director of NTU’s free trade initiative, called the tariffs “an outrageous abuse of authority.”

Jesus Christ.  Give me a break.  Trump has been f--king the public and the business community since taking office.  ... Just finding that out?  LOL.

NBC News reports:

“If the president goes through with this, I’m afraid progress to get this trade agreement across the finish line will be stifled," said Sen. Joni Ernst, R-Iowa, in a statement Friday. "While I support the need for comprehensive border security and a permanent fix to illegal immigration, this isn’t the right path forward. I’m asking the president to reconsider, and for Democrats to work with us to find a solution to the humanitarian crisis at our southern border.”

Senator, need to wake up.  Why would Democrats, as admittedly useless as they are, work with equally clueless Republican nazis?  You fascist bastards in the GOP remain hell-bent on eviscerating all civil and constitutional rights and liberties.  As detailed in this publication week after week, and elsewhere.  Neither party serves its constituents.  Only itself.  Partisanship trumps principle.  Been that way a long, long time.

"Rep. Justin Amash, R-Mich., the lone Republican lawmaker calling for impeachment proceedings against Trump, derided the president and his congressional supporters in a tweet Thursday. “How many times will Congress let the president unilaterally raise taxes on Americans? All the times,” Amash said."

Indeed.  One lone Libertarian Republican standing tall on principle.  Imagine that.

"House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., suggested in a statement that the administration's move on the trade pact was premature. “The Trump Administration’s decision to send Congress a draft statement of administrative action before we have finished working with U.S. Trade Representative Lighthizer to ensure the USMCA benefits American workers and farmers is not a positive step,” she said. “It indicates a lack of knowledge on the part of the Administration on the policy and process to pass a trade agreement.”

Not only that, the Aryan arrogance and aggressive stupidity of our fuhrer, the Trump nazi, and his henchmen.

The Washington Post reports:

"Despite widespread backlash, Trump showed no signs of wavering Friday, slamming Democrats for refusing to meet his border demands and accusing Mexico of taking advantage of the U.S. in a trademark morning tweet."

Proof positive a clueless idiot cannot, will not be confused by the truth.

"Mexico has taken advantage of the United States for decades. Because of the Dems, our Immigration Laws are BAD. Mexico makes a FORTUNE from the U.S., have for decades, they can easily fix this problem. Time for them to finally do what must be done!
    — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) May 31, 2019"

What's that, Mr. 'President?'  ... Goosestep in unison with our idiot fuhrer in the Oval Office?

"Senate Finance Committee Chairman Charles E. Grassley blasted Trump’s move as “a misuse of presidential tariff authority and contrary to congressional intent.” Implementing the tariffs, the Iowa Republican said in a statement, would “seriously jeopardize passage” of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA)." But in an appearance on Fox News, White House press secretary Sarah Sanders insisted the administration had “thought through” the tariffs against Mexico."

Wake up, Sarah.  Your fuhrer and his equally clueless henchmen remain achingly incapable of 'thinking through' anything.

“Congress has failed, and at the same time, Mexico has the ability to step up and do more. The president has been asking them for months to do that, and now he is putting some measures in place that hopefully will get them to engage more so that they will start to help us in this process,” she said."

Jesus Christ.  ... That, the best you got, madam?

"Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell backed the president on the border crisis but stopped short of supporting the tariffs. “As our third biggest trading partner, a healthy and vibrant economic relationship with Mexico is a vital source of our joint prosperity,” McConnell said Friday morning. “Any proposal that impacts this relationship deserves serious examination.”

At least, ole Mitch "The Bitch" remained true to form.  LOL.

"Sen. Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) asked Trump to reconsider the move, highlighting in a statement released Friday morning the damage the tariffs and the collapse of the trade agreement would inflict on American agriculture."

Been going on quite some time.  Just noticing, Senator?

“The livelihoods of Iowa farmers and producers are at stake,” Ernst said in the statement. “The USMCA would provide much-needed certainty to our agriculture community, at a time when they need it. If the president goes through with this, I’m afraid progress to get this trade agreement across the finish line will be stifled.”

You think?  Goddamned astute, madam.  What about all the damage the tariffs have done to date to consumers, businesses, China, and all the other countries your insane fuhrer has imposed them on?  The suffering is across the board.

"In remarks Friday morning, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador said he would defend the interests of Mexicans but wanted to avoid a clash with Washington. “There is no need for confrontation,” the leftist president said at his daily morning news conference. López Obrador campaigned last year on a promise to decriminalize migration and told audiences it was not Mexico’s job to assist the United States with the “dirty work” of deportation. In a letter sent to Trump on Thursday evening, López Obrador said he would send his foreign minister to Washington on Friday “to arrive at an agreement that benefits both nations.”

Wouldn't bank on it, Mr. President.  Trump is unstable.  Unpredictable.  Irrational.  Delusional.  Hopelessly, narcissistic.  Off the wall.

Here's the bottom line:

"Though Trump paints the tariffs as punishment for Mexico, the financial burden is borne by U.S. businesses and consumers, economists say. Tariffs are paid by companies that import products, so U.S. firms would pay the import penalties and then likely pass at least some costs along to consumers. Mexico exported $346.5 billion in goods to the United States last year, from vehicles to fruits and vegetables. And many manufactured items cross the border several times as they are being assembled. The tariffs could inflict a heavy toll on Detroit’s automakers, as their supply chains have spread throughout the continent since the North American Free Trade Agreement took effect in 1994. General Motors and Ford shares are down sharply in Friday’s trading. The tariffs threaten to upend an economic relationship that has been deepening for decades and throw into chaos corporate and agricultural supply chains that have essentially worked in a system without tariffs since NAFTA. Mexico is on track to become the United States’ largest trading partner, ahead of China and Canada, according to census data through March."

Time for Republicans to finally wake up.  Your clueless fuhrer presents an exigent threat to commerce, the business community, your constituents, life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties.

NBC News reports:

"The prospect of fighting trade wars on multiple fronts spooks investors and executives alike. “As we are all fighting to develop plans to exit or to reduce our exposure to China, one of our options — Mexico — is now equally in jeopardy,” said Rick Helfenbein, president and CEO of the American Apparel & Footwear Association. “This could roil U.S. and global financial markets, which could see this as a signal that Trump is leading us in the direction of a global trade war. If that were to happen, the U.S. economy could get hit hard,” said Desmond Lachman, resident fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, a right-leaning think tank."

Trump has lost his mind.  Time for Congress to rein him in.

"From a consumer perspective, everything from cars to vegetables would get more expensive. The U.S. imports $53 billion worth of autos from Mexico, and the country also is a major supplier of produce, electronics and apparel, including more than one-third of men’s and boy’s jeans, according to Helfenbein. “Prices will go up, sales will go down, jobs will be lost,” he said. “This has a devastating effect on our industry.” “A lot of companies in the U.S., not just retailers, treat North America as a unified market,” said David French, senior vice president of government relations at the National Retail Federation. “It opens a new front in uncertainty for retailers, but really, for the U.S. economy.” “President Trump's attempt to bully Mexico has horrified U.S. businesses as well as Mexican political leaders,” said Ian Shepherdson, chief economist at Pantheon Macroeconomics. “We expect the market to keep falling until the president blinks.” Lachlan estimated that a 25 percent tariff on all Mexican imports could add 0.4 percent to inflation. But even more than just the health of the economy is at stake. “It borders more on the crazy,” Bill Daley, former U.S. Secretary of Commerce under President Bill Clinton, said on CNBC’s Squawk Box on Friday, characterizing Trump’s Mexico tariff threat as “throwing gas on a fire.”

The Washington Post reports:

"President Trump’s brinkmanship with Mexico over immigration has opened a new and risky front in his global campaign to pressure other nations to capitulate to his demands, a strategy that has paid few dividends over 2½ years and left his major foreign policy initiatives in doubt. From his “fire and fury” rhetoric against a nuclear-armed North Korea to an escalating trade war with China to new ultimatums aimed at Mexico, Trump has wielded threats, insults and punishments against his foreign counterparts with diminishing returns."

No kidding.  Should be increasingly obvious to his most ardent supporters.  Then again, can't confuse them with the truth.  LOL.

"Though he lured Kim Jong Un to the negotiating table through a “maximum pressure” campaign of economic sanctions, Trump’s historic summits with the young dictator ended in failure after talks collapsed in February. Beijing attempted to negotiate over Trump’s push for a trade deal, but President Xi Jinping has met successive rounds of U.S. tariffs on Chinese goods with commensurate retaliatory measures, deepening an increasingly zero-sum clash between the world’s two largest economies. And although Mexico took steps to comply with Trump’s hard-line immigration policies — allowing Central American asylum seekers to the United States a temporary haven — Trump’s vow this week to impose sweeping tariffs unless that nation curbs unauthorized immigration into the United States stirred a public backlash."

Certainly, did.

"For Trump, who campaigned on achieving “peace through strength,” the consistent application of a tool kit of toughness has limited his options and left him in a precarious position as he accelerates his campaign for a second term. Despite his pressure tactics, unauthorized immigration at the U.S.-Mexican border is at a 12-year peak, the tariff wars have sent jitters through Wall Street, and Pyongyang has resumed testing of short-range missiles, a sign that Kim is growing impatient. “It strikes me that we are in the middle of an unprecedented and multifaceted experiment in the application of brute force,” said Daniel Russel, who served as an assistant secretary of state on Asian affairs in the Obama administration. “President Trump has been extraordinarily effective at generating leverage ... but it has yet to be shown that he has the ability to translate that leverage into results that are advantageous to the United States or are durable.”

Trump is a massive failure.  Time for Republicans to rein him in.

NBC News reports:

"Senate Republicans are discussing ways to block President Donald Trump from imposing tariffs on Mexican goods out of concerns over their impact on the U.S. economy — and the president said Tuesday the GOP would be "foolish" to do so. "I don't think they will do that," Trump said during a news conference with British Prime Minister Theresa May in London. "I think if they do, it's foolish." The president said "there's nothing more important than borders" and claimed to have a 94 percent approval rating among Republican voters "Can you believe that?" Trump asked. "Isn't that something? I love records."

This is one, sick, delusional, narcissistic son of a bitch.  LOL.

"There's nothing more important than borders," Mr. 'President?'  Think Native Americans don't understand this far better than you and every other goddamned national socialist, fascist, nazi in our formerly great country?  Readers are caustically reminded our UNDOCUMENTED forebears came to this continent centuries ago, STOLE this land from them,  then BROKE every goddamned treaty ever signed.

"In the face of the planned tariffs, GOP senators are first checking to see whether Trump has the authority to take the action, two Republican Senate sources familiar with the discussions told NBC News, and then lawmakers will determine what the Senate can do to block the levies, which depend on the president's declaration of a national emergency at the border in February. The conversations, which the sources said began last night when the Senate was in session for the first time since Trump announced the tariffs last week, was first reported by The Washington Post.

"A move to block Trump's tariffs on Mexico, which are set to go into effect June 10, would be one of the most significant rebukes of the president by his own party to date. In March, Congress passed a resolution of disapproval to override Trump's use of his national emergency declaration to reapportion billions of dollars for his border wall, which Trump vetoed. Twelve Republican senators joined that vote. If enough Republicans supported another resolution of disapproval to end the national emergency because of their frustration over Trump's planned tariffs, it would undermine both the tariffs and the president's border wall funding. At least 20 Republican senators would be needed to override a presidential veto, assuming all Democrats and the two independents who caucus supported the move. Republican lawmakers and the business community are concerned that the White House hasn't fully thought through the possible economic consequences of the proposed tariffs, the sources said. Some lawmakers are also concerned about the White House's lack of messaging, planning and forethought on the tariffs, they said.

"Trump on Sunday called Mexico an "abuser" of the United States and said he wanted action, not talk. Mexico has signaled it would retaliate to the tariffs, with targets likely to include farm products on Trump supporting states."

What webs we weave.  Time for Republicans to courageously stand up to their nazi fuhrer.  Instead of gutlessly capitulating.

The Washington Post reports:

"Republican senators warned Trump administration officials Tuesday they were prepared to block the president’s effort to impose tariffs on Mexican imports, promising what would be GOP lawmakers’ most brazen defiance of the president since he took office. During a closed-door lunch, at least a half-dozen senators spoke in opposition to the tariffs, while no one spoke in support, according to multiple people present who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss the private meeting. Senators told officials from the White House and Department of Justice that there could be a disapproval vote if Trump moves forward — and this time, unlike with an earlier disapproval resolution, opponents of Trump’s tariffs could have enough support to override a veto. “I think the administration ought to be concerned about another vote of disapproval on another national emergency act, this time trying to implement tariffs. Tariffs are not real popular in the Republican conference,” said Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), summarizing what he said he’d told the administration officials. “This is a different vote.”

About time.  Time to rein in the insanity.  Where have you been all these months?

"The administration lawyers who attended the meeting were not clear on whether the White House would use the existing national emergency Trump declared earlier this year on the border to justify the tariffs — or issue a new declaration, senators said. But some Republicans said the opposition to Trump’s proposed levies on Mexico runs so deep that enough GOP Senators would be willing to defy the president on any disapproval vote involving the tariffs. “I sure do,” Sen Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.) said when asked whether he thought there would be at least 20 Republican votes to reject Trump’s tariffs on Mexico — which would constitute a veto-proof margin in combination with Democratic opposition. “I think in light of every ball that’s up in the air whether it’s USMCA, China ... in light of all of that stuff and in light of all of that tariff activity which threatens to stifle the tremendous economic growth we now get to take credit for, particularly in the down commodity cycle with agriculture, there’s just a weariness of tariffs as the only tool in the tool kit that gets used.” It takes two-thirds support in the House and the Senate to overturn a presidential veto. “I didn’t hear many senators if any say that they wanted a tariff,” Sen. Mike Braun (R-ind.) said."

The following is stunning.  A reality check.  The Washington Times reports:

"President Trump called impeachment a “filthy, disgusting” word Thursday and framed his battle with special counsel Robert Mueller and Democrats as a stand for democracy and a rebuke of the Washington establishment’s “insurance” policy against his presidency."

Trump is delusional.  Unfit for office.  A strong man.  Dictator.  His policies, behavior the last two and a half years are indicative he has no clue what a democratic republic truly is.

"Speaking a day after Mr. Mueller delivered a public statement saying he didn’t clear the president of a crime, Mr. Trump called the former FBI chief a “never Trumper” and his two-year probe “a sad period” for the country."

The Mueller Report offers ten examples of obstruction of justice Mueller thinks Congress should investigate via an impeachment inquiry.  Also, that Russia interfered with the 2016 election.  The 'president' is a liar.

"The president said by fighting back he is protecting not only his White House, but also future chief executives, from zealous attacks."

From what, Mr. 'President?'  Exposure of the truth?

“I think in the end, I will consider what’s happening now one of my greatest achievements — exposing this corruption,” Mr. Trump said."

Mueller exposed your corruption, malfeasance, abuse of power.  You've exposed no corruption on the part of anyone else, sir.  Only displayed your egregious unfitness for office.

"Asked by a reporter whether he expects to be impeached, the president recoiled. “To me, it’s a dirty word — the word ‘impeach.’ It’s a dirty, filthy, disgusting word. And it had nothing to do with me,” he said. “There was no high crime and there was no misdemeanor. So how do you impeach based on that?”

You're delusional, Mr. 'President.'  Out to lunch.

The walls are closing in.  Democrats are under increasing pressure to conduct an impeachment inquiry.  New York state and federal prosecutors are criminally investigating Trump, conducting much broader investigations than Mueller was authorized to do.

Judge stands tall.  Missouri Planned Parenthood receives reprieve.  NPR reports:

"A Missouri judge has blocked the state's attempt to close down Missouri's last abortion provider. Missouri Circuit Court Judge Michael Stelzer granted a request to temporarily prevent state officials from revoking the license of a clinic operated by a St. Louis Planned Parenthood chapter, as the the state's health department had sought to do. Missouri had been at risk of becoming the first state without a clinic providing abortions since the procedure became legal 45 years ago. Planned Parenthood, Stelzer wrote in his order, "demonstrated that immediate and irreparable injury will result" if Missouri refused to renew the clinic's license. He added that the temporary restraining order "is necessary to preserve the status quo and prevent irreparable injury." Stelzer issued his ruling Friday, hours before a midnight deadline. The judge set a June 4 hearing on the matter."

No question, this judge stood tall.  Did the right thing.  Stood up to raw nazism.

"This is a victory for women across Missouri, but this fight is far from over. We have seen just how vulnerable access to abortion care is in Missouri — and in the rest of the country," said Leana Wen, president and CEO of Planned Parenthood."

Indeed.  Republican national socialists, fascists, nazis pose an exigent threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties as our formerly great country transitions from a de facto fascist police-state to the Trump nazi's Fourth Reich.

"In a lawsuit seeking to keep the clinic open, Planned Parenthood had warned that closing the facility could force some women to "turn to medically unsupervised and in some cases unsafe methods to terminate unwanted pregnancies." Missouri Gov. Mike Parson, who recently signed one of the country's most restrictive abortions laws, has maintained state officials need to complete an investigation into a patient complaint before the clinic's license is renewed. Missouri officials have not revealed details about that complaint."

Why not?  If this is indeed not political as the Governor disingenuously claims, why not reveal all details about the complaint?

"During a press conference earlier this week, Parson argued that the attempt to not renew the clinic's license is not political."

You're a liar, Governor.

"This is not an issue about the pro-life issue at all. This is about a standard of care for women in the state of Missouri," Parson said. "Whether it's this clinic or any other clinic or any other hospital, they should have to meet the same standards."

Disingenuous bullshit.  You're a liar, Governor.  No more, no less.  A congenital liar, -- just like your fuhrer, the Trump nazi.  You falsely impose obstacle after obstacle after obstacle to make it impossible for this facility to operate.  To impose your perverse ideological and religious views on others.  Direct violation of the First Amendment Establishment Clause, church-state separation, that is, freedom from religion.

"In March, state officials cited a number of deficiencies in their inspections of the clinic as part of the annual license renewal process. One problem they noted was that not all of the staff had participated in a fire drill. Then in April, Missouri officials announced an investigation of an unspecified complaint from a patient. State officials asked to interview seven physicians associated with the clinic, some of whom who were employed by Washington University Medical School and not part of the clinic's full-time staff. Because of that relationship, the clinic argues it cannot force the doctors to be interviewed. It also says the state has not revealed the scope of the questioning, which the clinic's legal team says could include criminal referrals. Legal wrangling ensued over the interviews, with the clinic saying it did everything in its power to make the sessions happen and state officials countering that the clinic was getting in the way of the interviews."

Kangaroo justice.  An achingly phony, manufactured crisis by the nazi Governor and his henchmen.  Fascist police-state.  Nazi America.  Clearly, the Governor and his henchmen ignore the fact abortion remains legal in this country.

"Jamie Boyer, the attorney for Planned Parenthood, said in the suit that Missouri "is simply wrong in insisting it is entitled to refuse to act on Planned Parenthood's application for license renewal." But Parson says that because of the audit and investigators' inability to complete the investigation into the patient complaint, the clinic's license cannot be renewed."

Bullshit Catch-22.  So the Governor and his henchmen can force their perverse ideological and religious views on all.  Direct abrogation of their oaths of office to protect and defend the United States Constitution, First Amendment Establishment Clause, church-state separation, that is, freedom from religion.

"Ahead of the ruling, clinics in states surrounding Missouri, meanwhile, told NPR there were real worries about a wave of patients traveling across state lines from Missouri. It would be a natural response, they said, to the looming prospect of abortions being inaccessible to patients statewide. "Missouri is already in what's considered an abortion desert where the majority of Missourians live over 100 miles from a clinic," Michele Landeau, board president of the Gateway Women's Access Fund, told NPR member station St. Louis Public Radio. The fund helps women pay for abortions. "Closing clinics is just going to make that distance even worse," she said. Supporters of the St. Louis clinic praised the judge's ruling, but said the struggle for access to abortions in Missouri continues. "While temporary, we celebrate today, and tomorrow we go back to work to ensure access to abortion does not go dark at the last health center that provides abortion in Missouri," said Dr. Colleen McNicholas, an abortion provider at Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region. "While Governor Parson abandoned our patients, we will not."

F--k the nazi element in our formerly great country.  They're traitors.  Present an exigent threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties.

CBS News reports:

"A St. Louis circuit judge sided with Planned Parenthood on Tuesday afternoon, granting the clinic a preliminary injunction and ruling that the testimony of non-employees was an "undue burden" and the state's subpoena to interview them "should be quashed." The testimonies are the lynchpin of an impasse between Planned Parenthood of St. Louis, which operates Missouri's last abortion clinic, and the state health officials, as first reported by CBS News. Missouri's Department of Health & Senior Services "refused to renew" the clinic's license, which was set to expire on May 31, unless it could interview those physicians as part of an ongoing investigation into the clinic's compliance with state mandated regulations. "The non-parties have shown that compliance with the subpoenas would present an undue burden and hardship on [the non-Planned Parenthood physicians] and that the subpoenas should be quashed," Judge Michael Stelzer wrote on Tuesday. The judge also issued Planned Parenthood a preliminary injunction on Tuesday, which will allow the clinic to perform abortions without the state's license. If the clinic had lost its license, Missouri would have become the first state to not have a legal abortion clinic since Roe v Wade was decided in 1973."

What the state is disingenuously perpetrating is no more than a direct attack on a constitutional right, the right to obtain an abortion.

"Planned Parenthood sued the state last week after officials "refused to renew" its license to perform abortions. Missouri health officials said that it would not renew the license unless it could interview five residents in training who had worked at the clinic but were not employed by Planned Parenthood regarding an ongoing investigation into the clinic compliance with state regulations. While Planned Parenthood offered interviews with all of its own employees, the five physicians in question declined to be interviewed. The state indicated that the result of those interviews could be "board review" in addition to "criminal proceedings," Bonyen Lee-Gilbert, a spokesperson for Planned Parenthood said. The department had not given the clinic any indication what the investigation was regarding, said Dr. Colleen McNicholas, a Planned Parenthood physician in St. Louis. "We are 100 percent committed to the best care that we can provide for patients. So certainly if there is an issue with the care we're providing we want to know about it," she said. "We want to be able to address that. But we can't do that when we're being attacked."

It's all bogus.  A bogus attack on a constitutional right.  In Nazi America.

Convoluted Catch-22.  NBC News reports:

"A lawyer for Facebook argued on Wednesday that its users had no expectation of privacy when using the social network, pushing for a judge to throw out a class-action lawsuit related to the Cambridge Analytica scandal. “There is no invasion of privacy at all, because there is no privacy,” on Facebook or any other social media site, company attorney Orin Snyder told U.S. District Judge Vince Chhabria."

Courtesy of those who greedily sell your data, readers.  Line their pockets at your expense.

"That may come as a surprise to those who have followed CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s pivot to privacy in recent months. He even wrote a manifesto for a “privacy-focused vision” of social media in March, saying he believes the future of communication lies in private, encrypted services. But his lawyer’s line of reasoning in court echoes what the company and Zuckerberg previously said both publicly and privately in past years — and explains how the company built an online advertising business that is now rivaled only by Google. And while some changes to Facebook, such as a broad embrace of encrypted messaging, have been welcomed by privacy advocates, others remain concerned that Zuckerberg’s “privacy-focused vision” leaves the company’s core business of data-targeted ads mostly unscathed."

Akin to putting lipstick on a pig.  LOL.

"Internal company emails from 2011 to 2015, leaked as part of a lawsuit by a photo app developer against Facebook and previously the subject of a report by NBC News, underscore the wide variety of ways the company initially considered monetizing its users’ data — with privacy concerns rarely mentioned. Central to those discussions were the kinds of developers that would eventually land Facebook in the middle of the Cambridge Analytica scandal, in which an app that connected to Facebook was able to harvest the information of millions of people. Some of Facebook’s early ideas to make money off its data centered on these kinds of apps, with Zuckerberg even offering up a guess at how much a single person might be worth to outside developers. “~$0.10/ user each year,” he wrote in 2012. Which “might even be too low,” he added. A Facebook spokesperson responded to a request for comment by sharing a link to a Facebook post where Zuckerberg wrote, “We’ve never sold anyone’s data.”

Jesus Christ.  Another congenital liar.  ... Just like the Trump nazi.

Pompeo caught with his pants down, -- so to speak.  The Washington Post reports:

"Secretary of State Mike Pompeo delivered a sobering assessment of the prospects of the Trump administration’s long-awaited Middle East peace plan in a closed-door meeting with Jewish leaders, saying “one might argue” that the plan is “unexecutable” and it might not “gain traction.” He expressed his hope that the deal isn’t simply dismissed out of hand. “It may be rejected. Could be in the end, folks will say, ‘It’s not particularly original, it doesn’t particularly work for me,’ that is, ‘It’s got two good things and nine bad things, I’m out,’” Pompeo said in an audio recording of the private meeting obtained by The Washington Post. “The big question is can we get enough space that we can have a real conversation about how to build this out,” he said. The remarks are the most unvarnished comments to date from a U.S. official about President Trump’s “deal of the century,” an effort to resolve the intractable Israeli-Palestinian dispute he has entrusted to his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, and former lawyer Jason Greenblatt."

The United States has never been an honest broker of peace in the region.  Has always favored the Israeli aggressor no matter what it has or hasn't done.  No matter the corruption.  No matter the murderous war crimes committed by the aggressor.  Under Trump, this problem has been exponentially exacerbated.

"The unveiling of the plan has been repeatedly delayed, a point Pompeo noted. “This has taken us longer to roll out our plan than I had originally thought it might — to put it lightly,” he said at a meeting on Tuesday of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, a New York-based group that addresses concerns of the Jewish community. In trying to manage expectations, he said there are “no guarantees that we’re the ones that unlock it,” he said, referring to the frozen conflict. “I hope everyone will engage in a serious way.” He also recognized the popular notion that the agreement will be one-sided in favor of the Israeli government. “I get why people think this is going to be a deal that only the Israelis could love,” he said. “I understand the perception of that. I hope everyone will just give the space to listen and let it settle in a little bit.”

What for?  The bottom line will remain the same.  The Israeli aggressor gets favored.  The Palestinians, f--ked.  So what else is new?  Unless this changes, expect terror to continue indefinitely in the region.

"Since the U.S. president announced plans to solve the decades-old conflict, the United States has taken actions vehemently opposed by the Palestinians, including recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital without a final-status agreement, cutting funding to the Palestinian Authority and the U.N. refugee agency that serves it, forcing its diplomatic office in Washington to close, and recognizing Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights."

Trump's above actions ensure the conflict will worsen.  Aggressive stupidity, -- to the nth degree.  Courtesy of an idiot whose head, figuratively, remains securely lodged up his clueless ass.

"Two attendees said they left with the impression that Pompeo was not optimistic the plan would succeed. “He was not in any way confident that the process would lead to a successful conclusion,” said one of the attendees, both of whom spoke on the condition of anonymity because the terms of the meeting were off the record."

Without the United States being even-handed, there is no chance for peace.  Not now, not in the foreseeable future.

"Elan Carr, the State Department’s special envoy to combat anti-Semitism who also attended the meeting, expressed a different view, saying he thought Pompeo “provided a hopeful assessment over the prospect of a peace deal between Israel and the Palestinians.” “It was an excellent briefing that was very well received by the conference,” he said in a statement offered by the State Department."

Day is night, night is day, and shit smells perversely sweet.  All ass backwards from reality.  Clearly, Carr is a clueless congenital liar, just like his fuhrer, the Trump nazi.

"Aaron David Miller, a former negotiator and analyst on Middle East issues for both Republican and Democratic administrations, said the remarks were “the most revealing and real assessment of the plan that I’ve heard so far.” “The fact that Pompeo so easily conceded the perception — and likely the reality — that the plan was strongly structured and tilted toward the Israelis is striking,” Miller said."

Pompeo is working for a congenital liar who is determinedly doing all he can to eviscerate diplomacy.  Pompeo is no idiot.  Where is his honor?  Why hasn't he long since resigned in protest?  Trump has made him no more than a figurehead.  Certainly, not our nation's top diplomat:

"Pompeo, unlike previous secretaries of state, is not overseeing the peace effort, but he told the group he is kept closely abreast of the proposal, including a game plan for what to do if Israel proceeds to annex territory in the West Bank. “I have seen what I believe are all of the details of what it is we are going to roll out,” he said."

Here's the problem.  Proof of the inherent unmitigated bias of the entire effort:

"Kushner, a real estate scion from New Jersey, and Greenblatt, the former chief legal officer for Trump and the Trump Organization, have led the initiative since the president took power. The two men, both practicing Orthodox Jews, did not come in with political experience but have shared a long interest in and connection to Israel."

That's the issue, intractable problem.  They're hopelessly biased in favor of the Israeli aggressor.

"If the peace plan had appeared to be an uphill battle when Pompeo spoke Tuesday night, it hit another significant hurdle just a day later as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu failed to form a governing coalition and Israel’s parliament voted to dissolve itself, sending the country back to elections in September."

Netanyahu's days are likely numbered due to corruption charges that may wind up pending later this year.

"Pompeo said the State Department had given “quite a bit of consideration” to what it would do if the plan “doesn’t gain traction.” “I don’t want to call it failing,” he said. “Call it whatever. I fail a lot, so it’s not about not using a word like that.”

Jesus Christ.  Give me a break.

"The contingency planning includes how to respond if the Israeli government decides to annex territory in the West Bank, a move many believe would be a final death knell to a two-state solution."

Should that happen, the conflict would exponentially escalate, become far more violent.

"As part of his election campaign, Netanyahu pledged to annex Israeli settlements in the West Bank if he won, a move considered illegal by much of the international community. He also may face pressure from right-wing coalition partners to take advantage of the remaining time before the next U.S. election. A peace plan that lays down Israel’s right to sovereignty over certain areas of the West Bank could bolster calls from those pushing for annexation. If Israel did go ahead with annexation, the administration would then consider “what would be the best ways to achieve the outcomes that we think are in America and Israel’s best interests,” Pompeo said."

That last statement by Pompeo is proof positive the United States is no evenhanded broker of peace.  Precisely, why there will be none.

The following is insanity:

"After a participant asked whether there was any effort to bring the Palestinians on board, Pompeo responded that “everyone will find something to hate about the proposal” but that everyone, including the Palestinians, “will find something that they say that’s something to build upon.”

Here's the reality.  Unvarnished truth:

"Palestinian officials see the White House plan as inevitably biased against them. In a speech broadcast on Palestine TV recently, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas said that both the “deal of the century” and the Trump administration's upcoming economic summit for the Palestinians in Bahrain could “go to hell.” The goal of the Bahrain summit is to drum up support for the economic component of the administration’s peace plan without getting bogged down in the more contentious territorial issues. Abbas has said Palestinian officials will boycott the summit."

Fran,

All three Liberty In Peril FTP servers are down and apparently have been
hacked.  The three websites, however, remain up and running at time of
writing.  That is, libertyinperil.twomini.com, libertyinperil.wink.ws, and
libertyinperil.t15.org are accessible and running.  Only FTP access has
been effected making it impossible to upload.

The Filezilla messaging on twomini is:

Status:        Connecting to 31.170.167.137:21...
Status:      Connection attempt failed with "ECONNREFUSED - Connection
refused by server".
Error:       Could not connect to server
Status:       Waiting to retry...

The exact same messaging, other than IP addresses, is the same on the wink
and t15 FTP servers. This hacking attack apparently occurred the day
after Wells Fargo closed two accounts because I publicly accused them of
criminal activity.  Your company needs to look into this matter. Get these
FTP servers up and running again.  A criminal complaint will be filed with
the U.S. Attorney regarding all the ongoing criminal activity by Wells
Fargo, now extended to hacking and undue interference with the webhosts.
Has 2freehosting been bribed and/or pressured by Wells Fargo?  Certainly,
one of numerous questions to be forwarded to criminal prosecutors.

Welcome.   Liberty In Peril has been relaunched at a new URL:
libertyinperil.com. This is a new commercial site hosted in an overseas
country, which unlike our own, does value free speech, Net security,
privacy, equally importantly, despises hackers.  Banks too big to fail
should not have the ability to shut down ftp servers on four Liberty In
Peril websites, making upload impossible.  -- Simply, because they don't
want the truth of their criminal activity reported to the public.

Should this site not be kept up, running, and fully operational, the
libertyinperil.com domain will be quickly moved to a different host
despite cost and hassle.  No more bullsh-t.  Criminal complaints will be
prepared and filed against Amanda Wright, Lynn Massey, and the equally
criminal bastards in the Wells Fargo corporate management suite for
egregious deceptive trade practices.

Email notification of local businesses of these practices, has and will,
continue unabated until Wells Fargo accepts responsibility, ceases these
practices, and finally makes it right.  During the last several weeks
after the ftp servers were hacked, a blizzard of these emails was sent to
local businesses to keep intense pressure on the criminal bastards at
Wells Fargo.  Copies of these emails were sent to bank officials.  They
have been posted in this publication. ... We're already up to Salvo 74, --
and counting.

In addition, all new Newsletter Editions will feature an
available abbreviated version, smart phone friendly, that can be accessed
by clicking on the icon. Will supplement the regular format of this
publication.  This is being done because so many of you access this
publication with smart phones and other devices with small screens.

This site has finally been fully uploaded.  All links appear to be
properly working.  Typos in the rush to get material up have also been
corrected.  There will be a few additional changes to be made as time
allows.  Including, again, a smart phone-friendly abbreviated version of
each future Newsletter Edition starting with v434 that will be available
in addition to the regular edition.

Hopefully, now, I can finally get back to the business of this
publication, that is exposure of corrupt, abusive, inept, clueless
government lackeys beholden to their corporate masters, rather than
dealing with recalcitrant webhosts.  We'll see.  With the
libertyinperil.com domain, however, any necessary changes in webhosts will
be easy to make since all links won't have to be changed or deactivated.

The pressure on Wells Fargo will continue unabated.  Should they further
interfere with operation of this publication, it will simply provide
additional fodder for criminal complaints to be filed against them.

On 9-22-15, Kingsland Wells Fargo Store Manager Amanda Wright forced
closure of two accounts because for nearly three years this writer has
publicly accused her, her predecessor Lynn Massey, and the Wells Fargo
corporate management suite of engaging in criminal deceptive trade
practices, as well as pressuring, unduly interfering and/or bribing
webhosts to take these websites down.

Apparently, they have successfully managed to unduly influence and/or
bribe the federal Consumer Financial 'Protection' Bureau and Texas
Attorney General Consumer Protection Division as well.  Forget?  The bank
is considered too big to fail.  Considers itself government.

For all practical purposes, that's perversely true.  They have money and
resources to buy not only their human chattel, but their bought and paid
for government lackeys. Be interesting to see whether or not the U.S.
Attorney is untouchable, or sadly, similarly capable of being bought.

Immediately after closure of these accounts, the three operational Liberty
In Peril FTP servers were hacked.  What that means is that while all three
sites remained operational and accessible to readers, new material could
not be uploaded. This continues to date.

Worse, 'free' accounts on all three 'free' webhosts conveniently no longer
provide technical control panel support.  Clearly, they don't want to know
there are problems. Have managed, however, to find other ways to contact
webhost management and have done precisely that.

Will take a criminal investigation to determine who hacked the sites,
however.  Most likely, Wells Fargo had a hand in it.  Certainly, have the
resources.  Highly, unlikely the Llano County Sheriff's Office was
involved.  Hard to believe they would be that stupid.  The Bank, however,
has nothing to lose. Owns its government lackeys.  The Sheriff and his
outrageously corrupt and abusive goons, however, can expect further
exposure in this publication. Should you have information regarding this
or any other issue, contact me.  I will protect your identity.

The effort to expose Wells Fargo egregious deceptive trade practices continues.  Several years ago to determinedly apply renewed pressure on our truly worthless, egregiously self-serving Texas Attorney General, now Governor, an excoriating email was sent to the bastard. Copies of which were also passed on to both offending Wells Fargo officers. A copy was also sent to the Davis campaign and others at the time.

Voters did have a right to know as Attorney General, the GOP candidate for Governor apparently selectively investigated, or not, bona fide complaints filed by citizens against banks too big to fail.  Possibly, Wells Fargo could have lined his pockets in some fashion.  That has yet to be determined.

The bastard and his office, no matter what, failed to respond to the complaint originally snail mailed several years ago.  This material, figuratively targeting Wells Fargo and the governor 'wannabe' now Governor, had been posted and can be found by scrolling all the way down and clicking on the links well below.  ... Governor?  Wells Fargo bribe you to look the other way?

Will continue to do all I can to publicly expose this to all, both in this publication and elsewhere.  Have done precisely that with the following email sent to Matt Turner, Matt Turner Video Services, Marble Falls, TX.  A copy of it was also sent to Wells Fargo officer Amanda Wright.  She has, indeed, been promoted  branch manager. Reverse Darwinism.  Survival of the unfittest.

This young woman has indeed been rewarded by the Wells Fargo corporate management suite for engaging in criminal deceptive trade practices and her undying loyalty to her corporate masters. The process to update those already informed of this fiasco has finally been completed. This latest material can be found by clicking onWells Fargo Deceptive Trade Practices Salvo 240, 2-8-19.

The name of this publication was changed some fifteen years ago from The Llano Ledger to Liberty In Peril.  The reason?  Simple.  Cowardly failure of this community to stand up to tyranny that has only exponentially worsened the last decade and a half.  Clearly, demonstrated as well by the cowardly failure of businesses to financially support this publication.  Either through advertising or other financial support.  Too afraid doing so would enrage the bastards who run and own this hellhole County.

-- Despite the fact these businesses were, and are, being egregiously f--ked by these very same bastards. Tough, isn't it?  Impossible to entertain any sympathy for cowardice, however.  Especially in view of the fact this writer has placed himself in great jeopardy taking on these corrupt, abusive, inept criminal bastards.  Alone.

Exactly, why you see no investigative material highly critical of these sons of bitches in other local rags.  Sadly, cowardly, all advertising income immediately dries up.  Consequently, the bastards continue their criminal chicanery with impunity.  On a rampage.  Thus, you get what you truly deserve.  Always.  Precisely, why this earlier name change to Liberty In Peril remains appropriate.  -- Despite the fact this writer has not yet left the area.  Ten years after originally intending to do so.  Thirty years in this goddamned godforsaken hellhole.

This writer, then and now, remains primarily interested in state, federal, and international issues.  Another reason for this publication name change.  Despite the fact I stupidly cluelessly remain here, local issues must be addressed.  Can't be ignored.  That's where you come in dear readers.  Have the courage to inform this writer of local abuse, corruption, ineptness you are aware of, have personally experienced.

... Information these criminal bastards do all they can to conceal, cover up.  Otherwise, how can they effectively sustain the charade and intended result?  Loot confiscation through a boot heel on the throat of the citizenry.

The only way, short of an unwanted dreaded second American revolution, to force badly-needed change is to expose all this to the light of day.  These bastards are beginning to understand they have a problem.  No question, the growing rage of those they've abused, looted, egregiously f--ked.  It's time to stand up.  Expose this corruption to glaring sunlight.  Otherwise, as fools, cowards, you will remain under their thumb.  From the loftiest business owner to those on the bottom of the food chain.  Wake up.  Grow a pair.

Still don't think that likely to happen.  After all, you're bought and paid for.  Owned. Not only by your government masters, but their masters.  The corporate management suite.  Your employers.  Think not? Wake up.   You're human chattel.  Corporate-owned, bought and paid for.  Precisely, why you cowardly, compliantly, literally bare your asses for corporate inspection by the company doctor.  Willingly, compliantly, cowardly piss in a cup under employer supervision.  To sit in front of a keyboard or stock shelves all day.  You have no control of your lives.  You're owned.  Forget?  For a measly salary, no job security, reduced to no benefits.  At a time of record corporate profits and cash reserves.

Then, you gallingly complain about the oppression as you tolerate egregious theft of your labor. Not only by your corporate masters, but their bought and paid for government lackeys.  Too cowardly to stand up, allow disclosure of your identity when you rightfully complain to this publication of being mercilessly f--ked. Some of you falsely arrested, criminally assaulted, bogusly fined for 'offenses' you did not commit.  To line County coffers.  Keep the peasants in line and under control.  A fascist police-state. Nazi America.

Again, yet another reason why this publication is called Liberty In Peril.  Most galling? Nothing changes if you fail to step up and challenge corrupt, abusive, inept authority.  Too afraid, cowardly compliant to let the bastards know who you are.  Did it ever occur to the cowards out there if the identity of the accuser is kept under wraps the bastards will falsely claim it's all made up by this publication?  Thus, conveniently killing all credibility.  Wake up.

Cowardice is unbecoming, unworthy of our formerly great country.  Insult to injury?  There are the hopelessly deranged who believe the chicanery reported here to be manufactured anyway.  No matter the effort.  No matter the research.  No matter the proof.  Wake up.  This writer cannot do it alone.  Snowball's chance in hell.  Then again, cowardice, delusion is always amply, justly rewarded.  Always. You continue to 'enjoy' the very best government money can buy.  Literally.

JP2 Linda Ballard Recording

Click herefor a most interesting conversation between JP2 Linda Ballard and LCRA Communications Supervisor Mitch Hibbs who at the time was investigating a complaint made by the Henderson family against the 'judge.'  The recording had been made by Hibbs and provided by Phyllis Henderson who had gotten it through an open records request.   During the course of the recording you will hear the 'judge' make a terroristic threat against the Henderson family which the investigator laughingly shrugged off as a joke.

Seems former LCRA Ranger Lance Bilski, stepson of Llano County Sheriff Bill Blackburn, had been harassing the Henderson family regarding their tire business, Henderson Tire.  Worse? There are unsubstantiated allegations, that although very much attached, Bilski may have indeed engaged in improprieties, that is, egregiously unprofessional conduct relevant to the Henderson complaint.  All this had been covered in Newsletter Text V346.

Publication of this material, however, should in no way be interpreted as endorsement of Ballard's opponent, Steve Lange, in the upcoming runoff.  It is not.  It is provided as a public service to expose the 'judge' for exactly whom and what she is.
