Republicans are apparently beginning to get the message.  Fear not being returned to office.  In follow up to an earlier edition here and elsewhere, The Washington Times reports:

"Lobbyists representing Google, Facebook and other online titans are voicing concerns with a Republican-backed bill that would strengthen privacy protections by making internet service providers, websites and apps obtain permission from customers prior to sharing their information with advertisers.  The Internet Association is monitoring a bill introduced in the House last week by Rep. Marsha Blackburn, Tennessee Republican, prohibiting companies from sharing user data without their explicit approval and instead requiring customers to “opt-in” to such arrangements, the trade group said Tuesday."

Imagine that.  Doesn't your heart bleed for the hopelessly greedy bastards?

Internet service in Llano County already stinks.  Fixing to get far worse.  NPR reports:

"The Federal Communications Commission will vote on May 18 to formally begin the process of loosening regulations that enforce the so-called net neutrality rules for Internet providers."

What that means is service will grow slower than it already is.  To line the pockets of the ISPs.

"Ajit Pai, who became chairman of the commission in January, says he supports a free and open Internet, which rests on a basic principle of "net neutrality."

This government lackey is a goddamned liar.  The direct opposite is true.  Talks out both sides his ass, just like his fuhrer, the Trump nazi.

"This term in recent history has come to encapsulate the idea that Internet providers should treat all web traffic equally and fairly, but Pai opposes the regulatory approach to enforcing net neutrality that was adopted by the FCC's then-Democratic majority in 2015. Those rules dramatically expanded the agency's authority and oversight over Internet service providers, classifying them more like utilities, similar to traditional telephone companies."

Failed miserably since the rules were never put into effect.  Precisely, why service has grown progressively worse.  Yet, this goddamned nazi won't be confused with the truth:

"In an interview with NPR's David Greene, Pai says he wants the government to focus on correcting actual anti-competitive behavior that Internet providers might demonstrate, rather than regulating against hypothetical harms.  "Preemptive regulation is appropriate when there's a major market failure — when the Internet is broken," he says."

This piece of shit is so clueless he doesn't realize that's already happened.  Or, is lying out his ass.  Forget?  Not only are ISPs already regulating data speed as they see fit, websites download big data tracking every time you access a page.  To track and ultimately sell your data.  This tracking effort slows things down even more.  All a ruse.  Precisely, why you should use Tor browser.  Run it through a VPN if Tor is blocked.  To avoid this collection of data.

ISPs and websites do this to maintain an unsustainable status quo.  To line the pockets of the hopelessly greedy corporate management suite.  You've been bamboozled.  Fleeced.  Dropped trou, took the ungreased shaft hard up the ass, then praised the greedy f--kers for the f--king.  Get what you truly deserve.  Think aggressive stupidity isn't always 'rewarded?' Wake up.

Internet service stinks in this county.  Unbelievably poor.  Stands to get far worse now that the Trump nazi is reversing Obama's executive orders on net neutrality.  What that means is service will grow worse, cost will increase.  Always happens when regulations get shot to shit.  NPR reports:

"The new head of the Federal Communications Commission on Wednesday launched his long-expected campaign to undo the regulations adopted in 2015 under former President Barack Obama. Specifically, FCC Chairman Ajit Pai wants to loosen the legal structure that placed Internet service providers under the strictest-ever oversight of the agency, in favor of a "light-touch regulator framework."

What that means is ISPs will do as they please.  As they already do, but on steroids.  The one major provider here in Nazi Llano County is already slowing data transmission down as it pleases.  Even with regulations in place not to do so.  Guess what?  They aren't being enforced.  Guess why?  Wake up.  Moreover?  Deregulation of ISPs will result in them quickly forming a cartel just as the insurance industry did years ago in Texas.  Doing so because Texas regulators were, and are, bought and paid for by the insurance cartel.  The same will happen with ISPs.

"All this means the FCC is beginning a new phase of one of its hottest, longest-running debates: How should the government regulate Internet service providers to ensure that they don't act as gatekeepers to Americans' equal and fair access to websites and Web services?"

Again, already happening here in Llano County.  Why?  The bastards enjoy a captive audience.  Have their users securely by the nuts.  Give them a hard squeeze and vicious twist every now and then as they see fit.  Will worsen as nearly all regulation of this industry is eviscerated.  Forget?  There is no such thing as a 'free' market.  No more than a crock of shit.  A ruse perpetrated by the corporate management suite and their bought and paid for shills in the Republican Party.

To keep the masses under control.  Ensure the flow of wealth from bottom to top in this ass backwards system we live in.  The market is owned, operated, manipulated by those with the wealth to do so.  Called laissez-faire, that is unbridled, capitalism.  Republican nazis crave deregulation because their pockets are lined by their corporate masters.  They're bought and paid for.  A goddamned ruse.  The public pays dearly for this carefully engineered royal f--king.

"Over time, the FCC established so-called net neutrality principles that state that Internet providers shouldn't block or slow down any websites or apps (no blocking or discrimination) and shouldn't charge extra for faster loading (no paid prioritization)."

Already happening.  Will certainly grow worse under the Trump nazi and his henchmen.  Anything to make a buck, including forcing users to figuratively drop trou, take the ungreased shaft hard up the ass.  Then praise the f--ker for the vicious f--king.  The Republican way.  It's how they line their pockets.  Hear the rumble?  An unwanted dreaded second American revolution already catastrophically looming on the horizon. 'What a country!'  Will certainly grow worse as our formerly great country continues to nazify under the Trump nazi to The Fourth Reich.
