Obama is expanding the war on terror.  The Washington Post reports:

"The Obama administration is giving the elite Joint Special Operations Command — the same organization that helped kill Osama bin Laden in a 2011 raid by Navy SEALs — expanded power to track, plan and potentially launch attacks on terrorist cells around the globe, a move driven by concerns of a dispersed terrorist threat as Islamic State militants are driven from strongholds in Iraq and Syria, U.S. officials said."

This is extremely dangerous.  Could lead to expansion of the war without Congressional approval.

"The missions could occur well beyond the battlefields of places like Iraq, Syria and Libya where Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) has carried out clandestine operations in the past. When finalized, it will elevate JSOC from being a highly-valued strike tool used by regional military commands to leading a new multiagency intelligence and action force."

Sounds like mission creep.

A long-term nemesis to the United States is dead.  Cuban communist dictator Fidel Castro died at 90.  Amazing how remarkably different reaction has been.  Bottom line?  Castro was a brutal Marxist.  His brother Raul remains in power.  Sixty years of conflict between the United States and Cuba has yet to be resolved.  While the President wants to move on, Trump certainly does not.  CBS News reports:

"After the death Friday of communist Cuban leader Fidel Castro, several politicians in the United States reacted to the news, including President Obama, who offered condolences to the Castro family and extended “a hand of friendship” to the Cuban people."

Can't have that, can we?  Despite the fact nearly sixty years of the U.S. embargo has done nothing to remove communism from Cuba.

"Acknowledging that Castro’s death would be greeted by “powerful emotions” by Cubans in the country and in the U.S., the president left it to history to “record and judge the enormous impact of this singular figure on the people and world around him.”

Indeed, it will.  ... And will not be good.  While Castro did benefit the island vis a vis healthcare, education, he was an exceptionally brutal, murderous dictator to anyone who opposed his rule.  Then again, this is what happens when a national socialist, Extreme Right, fascist government abuses its people.  -- As did Batista.  ... Who had American backing prior to 1959.

Either extreme, Left or Right, results in tyranny.  Precisely, why "Hump The Rump" Trump is, and will continue to be, ferociously, but peacefully resisted.  The President reacted cautiously to Castro's death:

"He walked a fine line in noting that there were “countless ways in which Fidel Castro altered the course of individual lives, families, and of the Cuban nation.”  Mr. Obama mentioned his own efforts during his White House tenure “to put the past behind us,” despite the nearly 60 years of political discord between the U.S. and its island neighbor.  He concluded with a reminder to Cubans that they would always “have a friend and partner in the United States of America."

Not surprisingly, this drives Rabid Right fascists in the GOP nuts.  Yet Republican nazis still can't seem to understand the embargo has done nothing to resolve the issue.  At least the President has made some effort to affect change:

"Earlier this year, the president made an historic visit to Cuba, following his efforts to normalize diplomatic relations between the U.S. and the island nation. Mr. Obama was the first sitting president to step foot on Cuban soil since Castro’s guerrilla force overthrew the U.S.-backed government in 1959."

Time for change.  Yet, with a national socialist about to become 'President,' that will likely not happen:

"President-elect Trump, who is spending the holiday weekend in Mar-a-Lago, his Palm Beach, Florida, resort, issued his own succinct statement on Castro’s death, delivering it on his favorite social media platform.

    Fidel Castro is dead!
    — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 26, 2016"

Most astute of the nazi, isn't it?

"His presidential transition team issued a longer statement two hours later, marking “the passing of a brutal dictator who oppressed his own people for nearly six decades.”

Indeed, he did:

“Fidel Castro’s legacy is one of firing squads, theft, unimaginable suffering, poverty and the denial of fundamental human rights,” Mr. Trump said in the statement. “While Cuba remains a totalitarian island, it is my hope that today marks a move away from the horrors endured for too long, and toward a future in which the wonderful Cuban people finally live in the freedom they so richly deserve.”

... While the American people are faced January 20, 2017 with a national socialist, fascist, nazi 'President' who will likely shit on all civil and constitutional rights and liberties.  Impose The Fourth Reich.  Forget?  We've already become a fascist police-state.  Trump will likely do all he can, with the help of his nazi henchmen, to complete nazification of our formerly great country.

This process indeed started prior to the Second World War when fascists in the United States, such as Charles Lindbergh, embraced an America First national socialist mentality while at least initially supporting Adolf Hitler.  Only to be continued after the War with the rise of The John Birch Society and McCarthyism.

Taken a step further by Richard Nixon, then Ronald Reagan.  Taken to a most dangerous level by George "The Tush" Bush and "Slick Dick" Cheney.  Coup de grace?  Donald "Hump The Rump" Trump and his national socialist henchmen.  Opposition will be ferocious, but must remain peaceful.  The nazi certainly remains clueless:

"The president-elect, via Twitter, has also weighed in on U.S. policies regarding Cuba in the past, pledging to “reverse” the Obama-led efforts to normalize relations between the two countries.

The people of Cuba have struggled too long. Will reverse Obama's Executive Orders and concessions towards Cuba until freedoms are restored.
    — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 12, 2016"

Our formerly great country continues to regress as the nazification continues.  Be interesting to see if the nazi fulfills this insane campaign promise.  No matter what, tyranny is unbearable under either political extreme.  Left or Right.  Must be resisted.  If not, liberty is lost.

See the photo of Omran Daqneesh, 5, the boy sitting in the back of the ambulance in Aleppo, Syria?  Covered in blood and dirt.  Expressionless.  He and his family had been bombed in Syria either by the Syrians or the Russians.  Fortunately, he wasn't seriously injured.  The trauma, however, will live on indefinitely.  His brother, Ali Daqneesh, 10, died of his wounds Saturday.

Other than raw combat footage showing mutilated corpses, it doesn't get more poignant than the photo of this young kid in shock.  Incapable of emotional reaction.  Just sitting there.  There is more than enough blame to go around.  Detailed both here and elsewhere for years regarding this ongoing, appalling atrocity in Syria.

Yet, despite all the talk, empty rhetoric, nothing is done to end it.  Nothing at all.  Just talk.  The Russians continue to exacerbate the problem.  It may very well have been Russian bombs that are responsible for the carnage inflicted on the Daqneesh family.  No matter who is ultimately responsible, the carnage must end.

It won't.  Not any time soon.  This human catastrophe remains unabated.  The UN, the United States, Europe, the rest of the world, -- achingly paralyzed.

Turkey continues to turn into a dictatorship.  Now, is placing pressure on the United States to extradite a cleric in self-imposed exile here.  CNN reports:

"Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan appeared to give the United States an ultimatum, demanding the extradition of a cleric he believes is behind the failed July 15 coup attempt.  Erdogan said the US would eventually have to choose between its relationship with Turkey and Fethullah Gulen, a former Erdogan ally who has been in self-imposed exile in Pennsylvania since 1999, the state-run Anadolu news agency reported Wednesday.  "Sooner or later the US will make a choice. Either Turkey or FETO," Erdogan said, in reference to the movement headed by Gulen."

Have to wonder how our government will respond to the demand.  Interesting, isn't it?  Although a NATO member, Turkey has more than its share of problems.  Has been a useful gateway to the Middle East for our military, however.  Time to re-assess this relationship in light of the recent failed coup and subsequent mass arrests.

-- Not the first time the Obama Administration has been accused of painting a rosier picture than reality vis a vis ISIS.  Fox reports:

"Intelligence reports produced by U.S. Central Command that tracked the Islamic State’s 2014-15 rise in Iraq and Syria were skewed to present a rosier picture of the situation on the ground, according to a bombshell report released Thursday by a House Republican task force."

One has to wonder since this theme seems to resurface again and again, who is truly skewing the results?  Is it in fact the U.S. military to make itself look better?  Or, is it the Administration pressuring the military to make the Administration appear more productive?  More successful than it truly is.  We keep hearing reports ISIS is being reined in.  Yet, the terror attacks continue, nearly unabated.  Someone's lying.  Or, no one has a true handle on the extent of this cancer.

One thing is for sure, however, the Syrian resistance is growing increasingly critical of the Obama Administration's egregious failure to do something about the exponentially increasing humanitarian catastrophe perpetrated by the Assad dictatorship and its benefactor, Putin and the Russians.  Yet, despite all the suffering nothing is expected to change in the near future.

The President and his henchmen strongly claim an airlifted $400 million in cash on pallets to Iran back in January was not in fact ransom to release four imprisoned Americans.  Interesting, isn't it?  More as this story develops.  Trump claims he saw the video.  He didn't.  More on this in the next edition.  Equally troubling?

Trump received a Purple Heart Medal from a veteran.  CNN reports:

"Something very nice just happened to me. A man came up to me and handed me his Purple Heart," Trump told supporters at a campaign event here. "I said to him, 'Is that like the real one or is that a copy?' And he said, 'That's my real Purple Heart. I have such confidence in you.'"

Make sense?  You decide.  Worse?

"Trump received the veteran, identified by his campaign as retired Lt. Col. Louis Dorfman, on stage at the start of the rally to receive the decoration. The campaign didn't specify which branch Dorfman served in.  "I always wanted to get the Purple Heart. This was much easier," Trump said."

Does this sound like a man fit to be President?  More in the next edition.  Still supporting this sick, national socialist for President, TL?  Ben?  Tim?

The US and its coalition continue to murder innocent civilians in Syria.  NPR reports:

"Syria's main opposition group is calling for the U.S.-led coalition to suspend its airstrike campaign against ISIS after reports of dozens of civilian deaths close to the Turkish border."

Don't forget the United States is supporting this opposition group.  Has provided this information.  Again, our noses are where they don't belong:

"As NPR's Alison Meuse told our Newscast unit, reports suggest the strike near the northern town of Manbij is the "largest civilian death toll since the intervention began."

Time to reconsider policy, involvement, tactics, strategy.  Not a snow ball's chance.

The situation in Turkey after the recent failed military coup is deteriorating.  President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, elected by the people, is consolidating power and appears to be creating a fascist police-state.

The recent failed military coup in Turkey remains proof positive instability remains a problem in a country that still remains a close ally of ours.  What is disturbing is the fact that despite having a democratically elected government, that very same government appears to be turning into a dictatorship.  More so, after the failed coup attempt.  Exponential increase in repression.  Also, does not appear to be fully living up to its obligations to the United States and other NATO allies.  Seems to be allowing Islamic fighters to pass through to ISIS in Syria and Iraq.

Again, why do we support Pakistan?  They remain savages.  CBS News reports:

"Pakistani fashion model Qandeel Baloch, who recently stirred controversy by posting pictures of herself with a Muslim cleric on social media, was strangled to death by her brother, police said Saturday.

"Her parents told police one of her six brothers strangled her to death as she slept in the family's home in Multan, police spokeswoman Nabila Ghazanfar told The Associated Press. She said police are searching for the suspect."

The insanity continues.  So does the grandstanding.  Consider the following from the most recent newsletter edition from Sen."Screws Loose" Cruz:

"On Thursday, Sen. Cruz issued the following statement on the terror attack that occurred in Nice, France:

“Tonight, our close ally France is reeling from yet another major attack apparently carried out by radical Islamic terrorists.

“Let us make no mistake about it: Europe is under siege. We must redouble our attacks on the ISIS strongholds in Iraq and Syria, but we cannot deceive ourselves that we can isolate ISIS and related terrorist groups in the Middle East. Thanks to a lack of decisive action, that opportunity has passed. As America has focused on limited regional air strikes, ISIS has been playing a longer game. They have used the last two years to establish a network of militants around the world from France to Bangladesh who are now coming to life. They may be in the United States as well.

“We have to remove the blinders and recognize this for what it is: radical Islamic terrorism. We need to stop radicalized individuals from coming into the United States. We need to empower our law enforcement to target this specific threat, whether imported or homegrown. After seven and a half years of the Obama administration denying this danger, it is getting worse, not better. Willful blindness is not a policy.”

The Senator is grandstanding.  Gutlessly, stoking fear.  Regarding ISIS: "They may be in the United States as well."  That's crap.  Untrue.  Bullshit.  Will certainly become a problem here, however, should we continue what we're doing in the Middle East, that is, putting our noses where they don't belong.  France is taking a terrorist beating for exactly that reason.  Has taken on a military role in the Middle East, after years of criticizing the United States for doing the same.

That is, the French have made exactly the same mistake as the United States.  Put their noses where they don't belong.  Consequently, they've become a target.  Are now paying the price.  The current ongoing problem in Syria and Iraq vis a vis ISIS is their problem.  A Middle East problem.  Granted it was created in the region specifically due to the earlier invasion of Iraq under false pretenses by former President George "The Tush" Bush and his sidekick "Slick Dick" Cheney.  Two unprosecuted war criminals.

Still, it's not our problem.  It's not a problem that can be solved militarily.  Sadly, it does originate with the U.S., Europe, UN authorized theft of Palestinian territory in 1948 by Holocaust survivors.  As repeatedly reported in this publication.  -- The development and implementation of modern terroristic techniques by the Israeli aggressor that were so extremely initially successful for that aggressor.

Until, of course, others in the area implemented the very same.  The modern age of terror so having its origin.  Now, we have a U.S. President who wisely remained cautious vis a vis taking out the Syrian dictator years ago, but stupidly issued a warning to the dictator he apparently had no intention of backing up with force.

That is, where Obama made his greatest mistake, indeed, was in knowingly and falsely drawing a line that he had no intention of following through with.  A transparently phony bluff.  What the hell did he expect to happen as a result?  Does he truly think the Syrian dictator is a dummy?  Part of the problem with the leaders in our formerly great country is they have absolutely no respect for the intelligence of both our enemies as well as our friends.

Now, with the Russian military propping up the dictator, the President has run out of options.  Other than to provide support to groups friendly to American interests.  -- Groups the Russians are attacking with air power.  Should the President and his henchmen continue to meddle in the Middle East as he clearly is still doing, the risk of terror on the mainland increases.  Either way, a losing proposition.

Despite his psychotic bluster, Sen. "Screws Loose" Cruz has no reasonable answer to the problem, offers no viable solution.  Just more of the same.  While remaining an exigent threat to all civil and constitutional rights and liberties.  A raucous boot clicking, goose stepping, treasonous, treacherous, traitorous Sieg Heil!, you hopelessly fascist nazi bastard?

Newt "The Coot" Gingrich again disgraced himself.  The former Speaker has his head so far up his national socialist, fascist ass his eyeballs are turning inside out.  ABC News reports:

"Newt Gingrich clarified a suggestion he made in which he said that American Muslims should be "tested" to see if they are loyal to the United States.

"... During the phone interview with Fox News, Gingrich said that “we should frankly test every person here who is of a Muslim background, and if they believe in Sharia law, they should be deported.”

"... I believe that we have to recognize that we're at war -- a very real war with people who would destroy our civilization, and people who are being recruited on the internet and people who are recruiting themselves."

Frankly, Mr. Speaker, what you're calling for is achingly un-American.  Worthy of Hitler's Gestapo, not the United States.  If we're at war as you and many others on the Nazi Right claim, where is your demand for a Congressional Declaration of War?  We continue to put our noses where they clearly don't belong.

We do so because you and other nazis on the Right wish to line the pockets of your war profiteering corporate masters.  There is no exigent threat to the mainland.  Never was.  As you and other fascists on the Right know full well, 9/11 would never had occurred had it not been for dereliction within the Bush State Department which failed to do full background checks on the attackers, ignored warnings by the flight schools the bastards indeed wished only to learn how to fly straight and level, not take off and land.

Instead you nazi bastards in Congress, both parties, and a hopelessly clueless national socialist former President eviscerated the United States Constitution including the Bill of Rights, forced forfeiture of all civil and constitutional rights and liberties for the sake of ersatz 'security.'  The USA 'Patriot' Act, Homeland 'Security' Act, 'Real' ID Act, and many other equally egregiously unconstitutional nazi statutes.

Conveniently, callously, traitorously rubber stamped, however, by an equally national socialist U.S. Supreme Court equally determined to consolidate Executive Power.  Create a goddamned fascist police-state.  You're all goddamned gutless traitors.  Saddest of all, the American public remains too aggressively stupid to fully understand this.  -- Yet.

Should we continue to follow the advice of grandstanding idiots like you, Mr. Speaker, that is, continue to put our noses where they don't belong and interfere in the affairs of other sovereign nations, indeed, mainland USA will become an ISIS target.  Is that what you want, you clueless fascist son of a bitch?  Why not do the country a favor and crawl back into the hole you self-servingly and gutlessly just crawled out of?

No end to the rabid Nazi Right and its insanity.  The Washington Times reports:

"Retired Army Lt. Gen. Michael T. Flynn, the onetime Pentagon intelligence czar who said President Obama fired him for pushing war against “radical Islamism,” asserted Wednesday that the Islamic State has established a global footprint that will not be wiped out by liberating Iraq.

"Mr. Flynn gave an assessment that runs counter to the Obama administration’s narrative in recent weeks that taking ground in Iraq means the Islamic State is losing and is attacking global targets out of desperation.

“They have the global strategic initiative,” said Mr. Flynn, who retired after 33 years, his last post as director of the Defense Intelligence Agency. “I don’t care if they lose Fallujah. I don’t care if they lose Raqqa. Look at what they have been able to do globally. There is a global footprint.”

More of the same old grandstanding bullshit.  If the retired General truly has his panties in a wad, he can always suit up, become a mercenary, and join the fight against the bastards.

Why do we continue to have anything to do with the savages in the Middle East?  Is oil truly that important we ignore all principle?   The Washington Times, 6-13-16 reports:

"A Dutch woman who alleged she was drugged and raped by a Syrian man at a Qatar nightclub in March was convicted of adultery Monday and handed a one-year suspended sentence."

Why are we fighting for these bastards in the region?  When will we mind our own business?  When that happens, and it will eventually happen since we truly have no choice, we'll finally see a reduction in terror both there and here.  We still can't seem to understand we do not rule the world.  Despite the insanity of the leadership in our formerly great country who psychotically believe otherwise.

Think there aren't savages in Pakistan?  The following from CBS is appalling.  Goes on all the time.  Careful, it's quite grisly:

"A woman in Pakistan burned her 17-year-old daughter alive on Wednesday to punish her for marrying against the family's wishes, the latest in a series of so-called "honor killings" that claim the lives of nearly 1,000 women every year in the conservative Muslim country.  Police say Zeenat Rafiq's mother, Parveen, tied her to a cot and drenched her with kerosene before lighting her on fire. Neighbors in the congested, working-class neighborhood in the eastern city of Lahore came running when they heard the screams, but family members kept them from entering the house, said Nighat Bibi, who lives nearby.  The police eventually arrived and found the charred body near a staircase. They arrested the mother soon thereafter."

How do you effectively deal with this?  Why are we actively still engaged there militarily, that is, going after terrorists?  To what end?  Ordinary citizens are insanely, psychotically killing their own children.  ... And we're worried about foreign terrorists who pose no exigent threat to the U.S. mainland? Why?  To what end?  To line the bottomless pockets of corporate war profiteers?  Do we really think American jurisdiction extends across the universe?
