The United States now has its first national socialist President-Elect.  Indeed, Trump makes Ronald Reagan look like a flaming liberal.  For this publication, however, Trump, remains manna from Heaven.  Forget?  No one is easier to ferociously criticize than a nazi.  No one.  Certainly, look forward to endless fodder from this fascist bastard.

This man remains an exigent threat to all civil and constitutional rights and liberties.  So does the GOP.  Especially, since Republican fascists continue to own both houses of Congress.  Without question, the second American revolution doomsday clock strikes ever closer to midnight.  Worse?  An unwanted dreaded second American revolution already catastrophically looms on the horizon.  Hear the rumble?

We already live in a fascist police-state.  A Republican President and Congress most likely will guaranty full implementation of The Fourth Reich.  When the public truly understands they've been thoroughly bamboozled, sold a phony bill of goods, think they'll remain happy campers?  Truly believe they'll dutifully Sieg Heil! the nazi bastard?  Compliantly, dutifully don brown shirts, jackboots, and swastika armbands?

Think this sick perverse nazi son of a bitch and his Party will get any cooperation from the half of the electorate that remains ferociously opposed to nazism?  No question, polarization will exponentially increase as the country continues to nazify.  Moves dangerously close to an unwanted dreaded second American revolution.

Think Senate Democrats won't filibuster every step of the way?  Do as Republican fascists have done the last eight years to Obama?  ... At least, until hopelessly gutless GOP nazis change the super majority rule to cut off filibusters?  Do all they can to block every national socialist, nazi, goose stepping fascist ole "Hump The Rump" Trump nominates to the Supreme Court?  Let the games begin.  It will be one hell of a rough ride.

Forget?  This nazi son of a bitch and his GOP henchmen intend to eviscerate all remaining civil and constitutional rights and liberties.  It's become the Republican way.  Perversely, the achingly f--ked up fascist bastards consider it reinstatement of 'liberty.'  Gotten it ass backwards.  A raucous Sieg Heil!, you fascist sons of bitches?

Trump ludicrously disingenuously claims he wishes to be President of all the people.  Won't happen.  The bastard knows it.  He has no mandate.  Barely won the electoral college.  At time of writing, still continues to lag the popular vote.  What does this tell you?  He has no mandate.  He and his Party will be ferociously resisted every step of the way by Democrats and Independents who despise nazism.

Do fascists in the Republican Party delusionally believe he'll get a free ride?  Undeserved benefit of the doubt?  A honeymoon?  Won't happen.  Count on it.  There'll be no cooperation with an Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini.  Democrats figuratively shot themselves in the ass nominating Hillary Clinton, a congenital liar, shyster lawyer.  She had no business securing the nomination.  Neither did Trump.  Both evil.

Interestingly, however, a clueless, achingly uninformed public chose the greater of both evils.  Will pay the price.  Sadly, so.  As our formerly great country continues to nazify.  All civil and constitutional rights and liberties obliterated.  The Fourth Reich.  True election loser?  The American people.

11-11-16

No matter who won the 2016 Presidential Election, guess who lost?  Who really lost?  Think carefully.  Harder.  Place insane partisanship, both parties, aside for a moment or two, -- and think.  Consider the following.  Hillary lied like hell for decades.  Think Trump hasn't?  At rally after rally after rally?  His sick sycophants believed every word he said, -- or couldn't care less what the truth was.  Think Hillary's supporters did not do the same?  Wake up.

One particularly egregious lie told by Trump at rallies is that Clinton supposedly laughed at a rape survivor when she was appointed by a judge to defend the rapist.  Was recently debunked by no other than the former prosecutor himself.  Yet, Trump's sick sycophants believe him no matter what he says.  Falsely, claims.  Truth has no place with a national socialist and his clueless shills.  ... Right, TL?  Tim?  Ben?

Trump's supporters repeatedly said they were in his camp because he represented change.  Was not part of the political establishment.  Believe that?  How do you think he managed to go bankrupt reportedly six times, only four of which he owns up to?  Think not?  Wake up.  No one gets away with fleecing creditors the way he did, to say nothing of all the contractors stiffed while building his empire, without having bought and paid for his government shills.  Benefactors who conveniently looked the other way.  Have no clue that's how it works?  Always has.

Conversely, Clinton became rich off her speeches to the Wall Street community.  Think barons of Wall Street didn't expect anything in return?  Why do you think the stock market dropped consistently day after day about nine days before the election?  Appeared to frightened investors Trump could indeed win the election due to FBI Director Comey's deliberate interference days before the election.  Think not?  Wake up.  Think investors don't believe Clinton will be a better 'Republican' than ole "Hump The Rump?"  Forget?  She's bought and paid for by her friends on Wall Street.

What change do Trump supporters expect?  Do they truly believe he'll stiff the top 1% corporate management suite?  People in his own financial class?  Why would he do this?  Betray the f--kers who lined his pockets?  Conversely, the same can be asked of Madam Clinton.  Again, she's bought and paid for by Wall Street.  Forget?  Why would she rein them in?  Nothing in it for her to do so.  Think she'd betray her generous benefactors as President?

After all the controversy all the years since Bill Clinton's Regime, why would Hillary want what's been coming her way?  That is, all the criticism, name calling, innuendo, snarky comments, legal jeopardy the FBI and GOP seem committed to inflicting?  Narcissism?  Think Trump doesn't suffer the same affliction? Wake up.

The GOP made it abundantly clear before the election, should Clinton win, investigations into her would continue no matter what.  At least some in the Republican Party have also stated they would block all nominations she makes to the Supreme Court.  Conversely, think Democrats won't conduct endless investigations into Trump should he be President?  Grid lock, no matter what.  No matter who's President.

Texas Sen. Ted "Screws Loose" Cruz recently, passionately urged the electorate to vote for Trump if they truly believe in freedom.  What 'freedom' is that, Ted?  A national socialist, fascist dictatorship?  Conversely, what liberty will remain with a President Hillary?  She remains an exigent threat to the Second Amendment.  The last best defense against government corruption, abuse, malfeasance, a fascist police-state.

Clinton supports Obamacare no matter what.  No matter the fact it remains failing, falling of its own weight.  Is forced on the unwilling courtesy of egregious tax penalties.  ... Penalties which are certainly cheaper to pay than outrageous premium costs and deductibles that fleece policy holders.  As insurers flee the exchanges.  Think Trump has any solutions to health care?  Other than continuing to line the pockets of providers through tax deductible medical savings accounts?  Truly, cluelessly believe that will work?  Solve the problem of bottomless provider greed?

Think a President Trump isn't an exigent threat to world peace?  Supports the Russian dictator.  Forget?  Believes in nuclear proliferation.  Is willing to renege on NATO responsibilities if Europeans don't pony up money to pay for it.  Interesting, isn't?  Conversely, a President Clinton remains a hawk.  Stupidly supported the invasion of Iraq by ole George "The Tush" Bush and his sidekick "Slick Dick" Cheney.  So did Trump, -- despite his lies to the contrary.

Think she wouldn't go to war to prove she's got the cajones?  Wouldn't be as great a threat to world peace as a President Trump?  Wake up.  Think temperament isn't a problem for both?  Both Trump and Hillary, running for office, have backed the criminal jackbooted bastards in blue.  Neither has called for arrest, quick charges, successful prosecution, and imprisonment and/or execution of 'officers' who murder on the job.

Guess what?  Unless this changes, the criminal activity of police will continue unabated.  Think this sustainable?  Won't ultimately result in an unwanted dreaded second American revolution?  Think there isn't already insurrection in the streets as officers are ambushed by murderous criminals?  Wake up.  Neither Trump or Clinton has offered any viable solutions.  Consequently, an unsustainable status quo remains.  Hear the rumble?

On the contrary, Trump supports criminal officers no matter what they do.  Would certainly extend implementation of the fascist police-state we already live in.  Think Clinton won't do the same?  Especially, as her authority continues to be challenged should she be crowned President?  The same not true of "Hump The Rump" Trump?  Wake up.

A President Trump, if Republicans hold both Houses of Congress, will certainly exponentially increase power of the Legislative Branch.  Would certainly result in an increased attack on all civil and constitutional rights and liberties as our formerly great country continues to nazify under Republican national socialists.

A woman's right to do with her uterus as she pleases would come under renewed, relentless, ferocious attack.  Should this happen, an unwanted dreaded second American revolution, already catastrophically looming on the horizon, could indeed become reality.  After all, if there is no reproductive freedom there is no freedom at all.  Precisely, what seems to be the intention of the Republican Nazi Right.  Their ultimate pernicious goal.

In addition, the First Amendment Establishment Clause, that is freedom from religion, would likely be eviscerated by Republican national socialists who seem hell bent on establishing 'Christianity' as state religion.  This is why they have spent so much time falsely claiming religious 'liberty' is being infringed.  Not so.  It hasn't.

Gay marriage, transgender rights, and other LGBT issues have finally come to the forefront since a majority in the population support them.  After all, if you abrogate the rights of the LGBT community, the question to be asked is who's next?  The shrillness, disingenuous, distortion of reality, and outright lying by GOP national socialists have become increasingly an exigent threat to all civil and constitutional rights and liberties. All of them, as our formerly great country continues to nazify at the hands of the GOP Nazi Right.

Not that the Democrats are any better, however.  These cowardly bastards have indeed lost themselves over the last several decades.  Have become a small shell of what the party used to be.  Failed to stand up to Republican partisans as the GOP took a hard turn to the Nazi Right after Ronald Reagan became President in 1981.

Yet, looking at President Reagan some 36 years after his inauguration, he certainly appears to be a liberal compared to the national socialists who have now commandeered the Republican Party.  ... Right, TL?  Tim?  Ben?  Then again, most of these fascists on the Right made their millions the old fashioned way.  They stole it.    Looted from the bottom of the food chain and middle class.

... No more than an Ayn Rand Atlas Shrugged discredited laissez-faire approach, that Rand herself reportedly disavowed before her death.  Not so, the Republican national socialist bastards who continue to line their pockets looting whatever is left of the middle class to this very day.  ... Right, TL?  Tim?  Ben?  Mindlessly support the criminal bastards at Wells Fargo without a doubt.  Continue to do business with the criminal f--kers.

Yet, Republican fascists continue to disingenuously delude themselves and the public.  Think not?  Wake up.  NPR reports:

"Divided government is actually the best government," McConnell said recently, "[It's] the best time to tackle really difficult things, because it requires both sides to buy into it to make progress."

Old Mitch "The Bitch" knows this is no more than unadulterated bullshit.  Psychotically delusional.  No more than an excuse to maintain an unsustainable status quo.  Neither side buys into this any longer.  Hasn't for years.  Precisely, why grid lock continues unabated.  Yet, taxpayers are looted to pay their salaries and perqs.  These pieces of shit, both parties, aren't worth a crap.  Need to be replaced.  Whatever happened to term limits?  Promulgated by the Tea Party?  Got in office and then conveniently changed their minds?

Clinton continued to attack Trump before the election.  CBS News reports:

“Imagine he is taking the oath of office,” she said. “And then imagine what it will be like to have him in the Oval Office making the decisions that affect your lives and your futures. Imagine having a president who demeans women, mocks the disabled, insults Latinos, African Americans Muslims, POWs, who pits people against each other instead of pulling us together.”

All the above is true, yet, Clinton continues to have egregious problems of her own.  No credibility.  A continued attack on the Second Amendment.  Issues with her handling of classified material.  Use of a private email server.  Ongoing investigations regarding her emails and other matters.  While Trump himself continues to be investigated vis a vis his ties with Putin, the now defunct Trump University that purportedly looted students, the Trump Foundation that appears to have lined the pockets of Trump himself.  To say nothing of his six bankruptcies, four of which he owns up to.  Not to ignore either all the contractors he purportedly stiffed building his real estate empire.

Former Judge Andrew P. Napolitano is certainly no friend of "Pilloried Hillary" and the Democratic Party.  Yet, commenting on the recent action of the FBI Director to influence the Presidential election he had the following to say on Fox News:

"One of the most dangerous tendencies of big government is the generation of a police state -- wherein laws, rules and procedures are primarily written and can often be bent to aid law enforcement when it is encroaching on our personal freedoms. We saw a terrifying example of that last week when FBI Director James Comey behaved as if he were his most infamous predecessor, J. Edgar Hoover."

He's right.  The FBI certainly poses an exigent threat to a democratic republic.   Equally to the point, and as earlier reported here and elsewhere:

"Comey’s progress report to Congress is prohibited by the internal regulations of the DOJ and the FBI -- and by the canons of legal ethics that regulate lawyers. Comey had no obligation to send the letter at any time; moreover, sending it last week was a direct violation of DOJ and FBI rules that prohibit all public announcements about candidates for public office within 60 days of Election Day."

Clearly, the son of a bitch deliberately interfered with a Presidential Election.

After all the above, and far more, guess who lost the election?  Still no clue?  We The People.

The following was written subsequent to the above in follow up:

Nine days after FBI Director James Comey did all he could to interfere in the 2016 Presidential Election, he now states 'investigation' of newly discovered Clinton emails has been completed.  'Investigators' found nothing to warrant change of his recommendation back in July not to prosecute Madam Secretary.

Most considerate of the son of a bitch, isn't it?  Certainly, in view of the fact his interference in a national election just days away was all for naught.  -- Other, than as a registered Republican, Comey succeeded in breathing new life into the faltering Trump Campaign.  A raucous, boot clicking, goose stepping, treasonous, traitorous, treacherous Sieg Heil!, Mr. Comey?

No equal treatment of Trump vis a vis Trump University, the Trump Foundation, four bankruptcies admitted to, contractors fleeced building his empire?  How about his relationship with Putin reportedly being investigated?  No fair play?  No equal treatment of both candidates?  You've disgraced yourself, you fascist son of a bitch.  You proof positive the FBI's returned to the not-so-good old days of a nazi fuhrer named J. Edgar Hoover?

This fiasco remains proof positive all candidates must be fully vetted the minimum of at least a year before county, state, and federal elections.  That time frame may not be appropriate, however, for municipalities and/or school board elections.  Yet, full vetting needs to occur of all candidates for office.

Should media discover any criminal activity during the vetting process, it's up to law enforcement to criminally investigate, prosecutors to prosecute. The greatest problem for local media, however, remains as it's always been.  Step on someone's toes, guess what?  Advertising income dries up.  Precisely, why there is little to no hard hitting investigative reporting at all levels of government, but particularly the local one.  ... Right, Sheriff?  TL?

While "Pilloried Hillary" and "Hump The Rump" Trump continue to live in the lap of luxury as members of the top 1%, other elderly citizens live in their cars.  NPR reports:

"In the wealthy coastal city of Santa Barbara, north of Los Angeles, the demand for senior housing is so great the wait list is now closed. After all, California's senior population is expected to grow by 50 percent in the next decade.  For the seniors left out in the cold, their only option is living in their cars."

In the richest country in the world.  At a time of record corporate profits and cash reserves.  Anything wrong with this picture?  Anything at all?

11-11-16

The Anthony Wiener saga never ends.  Hear the latest?  The Washington Times reports:

"Disgraced former New York Rep. Anthony Weiner is undergoing equine-assisted therapy to combat sex addiction."

Doesn't get any better than this, does it?

"The man responsible for upending the U.S. presidential race less than two weeks before Americans were scheduled to go to the polls now finds himself at a remote ranch — on horseback. The New York Post confirmed Friday reports that Mr. Weiner was at Recovery Ranch in Nunnelly, Tennessee."

The first statement in the above quote is not quite true.  Wiener is not responsible for the last minute election fiasco.  The FBI Director who deliberately interfered with the election process days before the election is.  Readers are reminded Comey is a registered Republican.  Equally pointedly, "Pilloried Hillary" is caustically reminded she and her staff did an incredibly piss poor job of vetting Wiener's estranged wife.

11-11-16

Bigotry remains alive and well in our formerly great country.  Has certainly been fueled by Trump and his sick sycophants.  NBC News reports:

"The mayor of a Mississippi town where a black church was torched and vandalized with the words "Vote Trump" said Wednesday it is being "investigated as a hate crime."  Calling the burning of Hopewell Baptist Church in Greenville a "hateful and cowardly act," Mayor Errick Simmons said this was "an attack on the black community."

Interestingly, Trump and his henchmen continue to receive supposedly unwanted endorsements from the Klan and other Alt Right, that is, white national supremacist nazi organizations.

11-11-16

Trump bigotry, racism extend back decades.  Think not?  Wake up.  NBC News reports:

"In 1973, New York City school teacher Annette Gandy Fortt was looking for a decent place to live. A listing for an apartment in a building owned by Donald Trump's father, Fred, caught her eye — but she says the super told her there were no units available.  "I was black," Fortt said recently. "I was not wanted."  It wasn't just a gut feeling. After Fortt was turned away from the Queens apartment building twice, the New York City Human Rights Commission sent a white person to the property to apply for an apartment — and the tester was offered the apartment, according to court papers."

This problem dates back many decades.  Still continues to this very day.

"The commission took on Fortt's case, and she says a young Donald Trump appeared with a lawyer at a hearing on behalf of the family real estate company, Trump Management.  Her case also became part of a federal racial discrimination lawsuit filed by the Justice Department against Donald and Fred Trump that was resolved with a consent decree two years later in which they agreed to terms aimed at preventing discrimination."

Think this why the Alt Right, including the Klan, support "Hump The Rump" Trump and his national socialist henchmen?  Couldn't be, could it?  Wouldn't want to confuse anyone with the truth, would we?

11-11-16

The "Bridgegate" trial has finally come to an end.  Two of New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie's henchmen were convicted.  Four people have either been convicted or pled out in this fiasco.  The kingpin?  So, far skates.  -- Although his reputation and rising star status in the GOP have been figuratively shot to shit.  ... Doesn't your heart bleed?

11-11-16

Trump and his henchmen have done all they could to intimidate non-Republican voters from voting prior to the election.  So much so, law suits have been filed.  ABC News reports:

"Important legal cases are playing out in multiple federal courts today where the Donald Trump campaign and its allies are being forced to promise not to intimidate voters."

Trump and his henchmen are apparently doing all they can to rig an election to their favor, while complaining the election's fixed.  Apparently, it is.  By them.

"This comes after the Republican presidential candidate and his supporters have ramped up rhetoric in recent weeks about how the election is being "rigged" and calling for believers to, as he said in Detroit in October, "go and watch these polling places. Make sure it's on the up and up."

Nothing more than deliberate intimidation.  This is how nazis operate.  Certainly, Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini did the same decades ago.

"Arguments that the Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee are coordinating voter intimidation efforts are going to be held in courts in New Jersey and Ohio today, and Pennsylvania on Monday, according to The Associated Press. Similar cases were already heard in Nevada and Arizona Thursday."

A little too little, much too late.  Especially, after the Republican FBI Director deliberately interfered with a Presidential election just days before Election Day.

11-11-16

In regard to the above, a desperate President Obama finally had something to say about the fiasco. The Washington Post reports:

"President Obama briefly addressed the FBI's reopened investigation into Hillary Clinton's email practices for the first time, saying in an interview posted Wednesday that the agency does not “operate on innuendo" and emphasizing that there is no evidence that the Democratic presidential nominee violated the law."

First, the FBI has a history of operating on innuendo dating back to the J. Edgar Hoover era.  Over the years, most safeguards  instituted after Watergate have been removed.  Whether or not Madam Clinton violated the law still remains unclear.

“I do think that there is a norm that when there are investigations, we don't operate on innuendo, and we don't operate on incomplete information, and we don't operate on leaks,” Obama said in the interview with NowThis News, which was filmed Tuesday. “We operate based on concrete decisions that are made. When this was investigated thoroughly last time, the conclusion of the FBI, the conclusion of the Justice Department, the conclusion of repeated congressional investigations, was she had made some mistakes but that there wasn't anything there that was prosecutable.”

The FBI does as it pleases.  The President's claims ring hollow.

11-11-16

Think Democrats don't have their share of the insane?  CBS News reports:

"The hostility between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton supporters has been escalating as election day nears. But on Tuesday someone attached razor blades to a Trump-Pence sign, then used it to cover the official polling site sign at a polling location in Plano, Texas, CBS DFW reports."

11-11-16

Think sexism not a growing problem in our formerly great country?  Misogyny promulgated by Trump and his henchmen not an exigent threat to women?  The way boys should now be brought up?  NPR reports:

"The men parked their white work van on a patch of dirt down the road from the college where Hillary Clinton was set to give a major speech.  Then they attached a banner.  It was almost as long as the van with bold red-and-black vinyl lettering.

Know what it read?  Approve?  Think your sons should be taught the same?  Wake up.

"Trump that bitch," it read.  They waved and smiled, as people drove by."

This, now, The American Way?

"The message wasn't subtle. It also wasn't an outlier, either. It's a slogan that's been found on T-shirts at many Trump rallies since at least March. There are bumper stickers for sale with the slogan, even a bottle of hot sauce. (Clinton has said she carries hot sauce with her wherever she goes because of the immune-boosting properties of hot peppers.)"

Think this appropriate?  Think this does not present an exigent threat to women?

11-4-16

Highly likely should Clinton win, she will not be the attack dog that goes after Wall Street.  Why would she?  Forget?  She handsomely lined her pockets courtesy of her corporate masters.  She's bought and paid for.  Not so, the woman who would have made a far better Presidential candidate.  None other than Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren.  CBS News reports:

"If Hillary Clinton is elected president, the person who will most shape the future of financial services in the U.S. is unlikely to be the nation’s commander-in-chief, or even one of her cabinet members. Instead, that critical role may be filled by Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, arguably the nation’s fiercest critic of Wall Street."

This woman takes no prisoners.  Sticks it ferociously to the pieces of shit who shamelessly loot the middle class and bottom of the food chain.  Does so with gusto.  Tells the hopelessly avaricious bastards precisely what they don't want to hear.

“Anybody in their right mind doesn’t want to get on the wrong side of Sen. Warren,” said Dennis Kelleher, CEO of Better Markets, a financial reform advocacy group in Washington, D.C. “She has a national following and a platform and a megaphone that no candidate in their right mind would want to be on the wrong side of.”

Indeed.  Someone has to.  Not good enough, however.  The bastards need to be prosecuted.  Loot trillions, over time, off what is no more than a legalized Ponzy scheme.  Do so shamelessly.  As long as they get theirs, that's all that matters.  A zero-sum game.  Winner-take-all.  No more than a carefully orchestrated brutal ass f--king.  Without the Vaseline.  The American Way.

"Beyond their shared preference for colorful pantsuits, Clinton and Warren have each pledged to reform Wall Street, although just how much their agendas overlap at the nitty gritty policy level remains to be seen."

Indeed, it does.  Forget?  Madam Clinton lined her pockets off Wall Street.  Why would she betray her corporate masters?  Highly likely, Warren will remain in the Senate.  -- Despite the fact she is campaigning for Clinton.

"Yet even without taking an official position in a Clinton regime, Warren could capitalize on the political currency she has amassed stumping for the Democratic nominee and other party members to drive her agenda."

Hard to believe a bought and paid for Madam Clinton would in any way rein in her corporate masters.  Why would she?

"Among the items on that list: tightening regulations on large banks; halting the revolving door between large financial firms and government; restoring a legal barrier between commercial banking and securities trading; and defending the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau from hostile lawmakers."

Hard to believe a bought and paid for Clinton will join in the festivities.  Not so, Sen. Warren. You go girlStick it to 'emF--k the criminal bastards.

11-4-16

Trump and his henchmen appear to be doing what they can to intimidate voters.  So much so, a lawsuit has been filed.  CBS News reports:

"The Democratic National Committee (DNC) is accusing the Republican National Committee (RNC) of violating a long-standing decree that restricts Republicans’ ability to question voters at polls and prevent those people from casting ballots.  On Wednesday, the DNC filed a lawsuit in New Jersey federal court asking a judge to block the RNC from engaging in such voter intimidation tactics. It appears to come in response to Donald Trump’s repeated claims recently that the presidential election is “rigged.”

The system is not rigged.  Remains so decentralized in all 50 states collusion would be exceptionally difficult, if not impossible.  At least, nowhere near enough to decide the election.  Trump knows this, yet lies.  His sick sycophants, however, believe his deception.  Buy the bullshit hook, line, and sinker.

11-4-16

Idiots in both parties still can't get it right.

ABC News reports:

"Republican Senator Mark Kirk from Illinois is taking political heat this morning, even from members of his own party, after eyebrow-raising comments he made last night during a televised debate.  His opponent in the state's Senate race, Democratic congresswoman Tammy Duckworth, was born in Bangkok, Thailand.  An Iraq War veteran and Purple Heart recipient, she grew up in southeast Asia before her family moved to Hawaii. In 2004, she lost both her legs after a combat helicopter she was flying was hit by an RPG in Iraq."

Didn't stop Kirk from making an absolute jackass of himself.

"During the debate, Duckworth was talking about her military service as well as a long history of military service in her family. She said, as she has many times on the campaign trail, that her family "has served this nation in uniform going back to the revolution."  "I am a daughter of the American Revolution," she added. "I have bled for this nation."

Indeed, she has.  Literally.  In combat.

"An Iraq War veteran and Purple Heart recipient, she grew up in southeast Asia before her family moved to Hawaii. In 2004, she lost both her legs after a combat helicopter she was flying was hit by an RPG in Iraq."

Clearly, this Aryan arrogant U.S. Senator did not do his homework.  Didn't know what he was talking about.

"Kirk replied, "I forgot that your parents came all the way from Thailand to serve George Washington."

There was nearly dead silence after this achingly ignorant bastard's remark.  The audience understood what had just happened.  This man is a goddamned jackass.  A bigot.  A misogynist.  Think not?  Wake up.  Duckworth's father is a United States Marine.  ... Once a Marine, always a Marine.  This man traces his family lineage back to the time of George Washington and the American Revolution.  The Senator is out of line.  Way out of line.

Head so far up his ass his eyeballs turned inside out.  ABC News followed up:

"Republican Senator Mark Kirk from Illinois, running for re-election this fall, has apologized to his opponent after eyebrow-raising comments he made about her during their debate last night.

"The incumbent Senator took to Twitter acknowledging the gaf and thanking her for her military service.

Sincere apologies to an American hero, Tammy Duckworth, and gratitude for her family's service. #ilsen
    — Mark Kirk (@MarkKirk) October 28, 2016"

Seems the FBI and 'Justice' Department can't seem to get their act together.  The FBI Director wrote Congress indicating there were developments in the Clinton email fiasco.  ... Conveniently, days before the election.  CBS News reports:

"Attorney General Loretta Lynch disagreed with FBI Director James Comey’s decision to send a letter notifying Congress of new developments in the probe of Hillary Clinton’s private email server, CBS News’ Paula Reid reports."

There is good reason why AG Lynch disagreed.  Also, this disagreement indicates there is indeed at least some degree of separation between the 'Justice' Department and the FBI.  The problem with this is the fact all of this should have been resolved a year and a half ago.  Should not have lingered this long.

"Sources close to the Clinton investigation told Reid that Lynch encouraged the FBI chief to follow a long-standing practice not to comment on ongoing investigations. While the two did not speak directly, the attorney general’s position was made clear to Comey. Comey’s decision to flag the new emails was thus made independent of his boss, the attorney general."

This is encouraging.  Certainly, takes some wind out of the sails of GOP criticism the 'Justice' Department and FBI are in the pocket of Democrats.  FBI Director Comey is a Republican.  Knew better, however, than to comment on what is apparently an ongoing investigation.  Did so anyway.  ... An investigation that should have long since occurred and been rapped up.

The question to be asked, however, is did Mr. Comey succumb to enormous Republican criticism and intense pressure received since July when the 'investigation' supposedly ended?  ... An 'investigation' that clearly never ended despite the fact the Director himself announced he would not advise prosecution?  Charges, that supposedly no "reasonable' prosecutor would pursue?

"In 2012, the attorney general’s office, then led by Eric Holder, sent a department-wide memo that included guidance on making announcements so close to an election."

There is good reason for this.  Neither the Department or the FBI should sway an election.

"The memo cautions that employees of the DOJ “must be particularly sensitive to safeguarding the Department’s reputation for fairness, neutrality, and nonpartisanship.”

Indeed.  This should be prime directive.  Absolutely necessary to maintain public confidence.

“Simply put, politics must play no role in the decisions of federal investigators or prosecutors regarding any investigations or criminal charges,” it reads. “Law enforcement officers and prosecutors may never select the timing of investigative steps or criminal charges for the purpose of affecting any election, or for the purpose of giving an advantage or disadvantage to any candidate or political party.”

That's right.  Comey's most recent letter to Congress seems to have violated long-standing policy.

"Comey defended his decision to disclose the latest developments in the investigation in an email he sent to FBI staffers Friday, shortly after sending his letter to eight Republican House and Senate committee chairs."

Did so intentionally to cover his ass.  He knew staffers would quickly leak the email.  The email rings achingly hollow, however.  The bastard, nonetheless, disingenuously presents the appearance of favoring the GOP, -- especially since the FBI has done nothing to date to prosecute Trump on his highly questionable Trump Foundation dealings, as well as his now defunct Trump 'University' and it's reported rip off of former students.  To say nothing of all the ripped off contractors who never got paid for their work building his empire.  What about the ongoing investigation of Trump's ties to Putin?  Yet, Comey decided not to mention any of this.  Interesting, isn't it?

“Of course, we don’t ordinarily tell Congress about ongoing investigations, but here I feel an obligation to do so given that I testified repeatedly in recent months that our investigation was completed,” he said, referring to the times he has appeared before congressional committees since July. “I also think it would be misleading to the American people were we not to supplement the record.”

This is disingenuous bullshit.  Talked out both sides his ass in front of Congress.   Foolishly, desperately tried to walk a tight rope.  Please both the Attorney General and his party, the GOP.  Not possible to do.  Worse, why didn't he afford Trump the very same treatment, that is investigation disclosures afforded Madam Secretary?  Where is the fairness?  Worse?  When a prosecutor decides not to prosecute, public comment by the prosecutor ends.  Not so with Comey.  He lambasted Clinton back in July after announcing she would not be prosecuted.  His egregious lack of professionalism is stunning.

Lynch has her own problems.  Particularly, her seeming lack of good judgment:

"Lynch, for her part, is no stranger to Republican criticism over the email investigation. Just as the FBI was wrapping up the case this summer, Lynch had an impromptu meeting with former President Bill Clinton on the tarmac of an Arizona airport."

Clearly, made a horrendous mistake allowing the former President onboard.  Just the appearance alone.  Should have passed on that message to the determinedly clueless old bastard.  Saved herself a boatload of grief, needless suspicion.

“The most important thing for me as the attorney general is the integrity of this Department of Justice,” the attorney general said in July. “And the fact that the meeting that I had is now casting a shadow over how people are gonna view that work is something I take deeply, and seriously, and painfully.”

The damage had already been done.  One has to wonder what the hell the former President was thinking.  The man is a lawyer.  Knew his wife was running for office.  Knew there was an investigation going on.  What could he possibly been thinking?

Clinton herself was certainly chagrined at the latest turn of events days before the election.  Rightfully, so.  The Washington Post reports:

"Hillary Clinton criticized FBI Director James Comey on Friday for failing to disclose additional information about the nature of a new inquiry into her private email server."

She's right.  All of this should have happened months ago.  Long before the election.

“We are 11 days out from perhaps the most important national election of our lifetimes,” Clinton said at a news conference in Des Moines, Iowa. “The American people deserve to get the full and complete facts immediately.”

That's not likely to happen.  Law enforcement simply doesn't operate like this.  Also, wisely, usually never comments on an ongoing 'investigation.'  Comey should do the right thing.  Resign in disgrace.  Egregiously failed to do his job.  Both back in the summer, -- as well as most recently.  Clearly, interfered at the last minute in a national election.  Sad.  Outrageously, un-American.  Further evidence we now live in a fascist police-state.  The Fourth Reich.

In follow up to the above, former U.S. Attorneys General Eric Holder and Alberto Gonzales have severely criticized Comey.  The former AG, a Democrat.  The latter, a Republican.  Both men are right.  The FBI must remain a non-partisan law enforcement agency.  Should do nothing that could possibly interfere with an election.

Seems the rules are straightforward.  The agency is not supposed to discuss pending investigations.  In addition, the agency should not do so within 60 days of an election.  Does not mean an investigation should not proceed, but should not be discussed publicly.  For damned good reason.  Kicker?  The FBI knew about the Wiener emails weeks ago.  Why did Comey choose to wait until some eleven days before the election?

Trump supporters do have problems grasping reality, adhering to law.  At least, some don't believe the law applies to them.  The Washington Times reports:

"A Texas man was jailed last week on electioneering charges after he wore a pro-Donald Trump hat and shirt into a polling place."

-- A bit more complicated than that, however.  Misleading as well, since the offender was given a chance to remove the hat and turn the shirt inside out in a restroom.

"Brett Mauthe, 55, of Bulverde, said he was wearing a hat supporting the Republican presidential nominee and a T-shirt that read, “Basket of deplorables,” when he tried to vote early in Comal County on Oct. 24, a local ABC News affiliate reported.  Mr. Mauthe said polling officials ordered him to remove the hat and turn the shirt inside out. Unaware of the state’s election code, Mr. Mauthe said he agreed to remove the hat but wouldn’t budge on the shirt."

Aggressive stupidity.  You can fix ignorant.  Can't fix stupid.  Mr. Mauthe, proof positive.

"He was arrested and charged with electioneering, a Class C misdemeanor. He was released from Comal County Jail in New Braunfels on $500 bond, ABC reported."

If he wouldn't leave the premises, wouldn't comply with turning the shirt inside out, he got what he deserved.  Highly likely, officials would have done the same thing to a recalcitrant Clinton supporter.  There are reasons for this law.  Legitimate reasons.  Voters must not be pressured at the polls.  In any way.  Whether it's 'courtesy' of electioneering, or intimidation by partisan 'poll watchers.'

"Cynthia Jaqua, the Comal County elections coordinator, said it is very rare that a voter is arrested on an electioneering charge."

Indeed, it is.  Especially, since voters are given a chance to leave, and/or comply with instructions.  Think not?

“It’s in the election code. Electioneering is prohibited within a 100-foot marker,” she told the San Antonio Express-News. “You cannot express views for or against a candidate or political party by wearing buttons, T-shirts, hats, whatever else or carrying signs.”  “Every election we have to advise people,” she said. “Even if it’s a school bond issue. They wear candidates’ shirts and we just have to remind them. ‘Please go into the restroom and turn it inside out.’ This is the first time I recall someone getting arrested.”

When they refuse to comply, all bets are off.

The term "fascist" has begun to be used in mainstream media to describe the Republican candidate for President.  Properly, so.  CNN reports:

"New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said Thursday that Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's claim the presidential election is rigged is reminiscent of a fascist.  "It's just a classic tool, tactic to try to undermine the democratic process," the mayor said on CNN's "New Day."

Indeed, it is.  Hitler and Mussolini were quite adept.

"He's tried to turn white Americans against people of color," de Blasio told CNN's Alisyn Camerota. "We've seen this before. This is what fascists do."  Trump refusing to say at the final debate on Wednesday night that he would accept the election outcome on November 8 by casting doubt on the voting process is what you would expect to hear from a "third world dictator," said de Blasio, a Hillary Clinton supporter."

This is precisely what occurred in both Fascist Italy and Nazi Germany.  Hitler, insanely, elevated it to one of the highest principles of the Third Reich.  Used it to 'justify' death camps and exterminate six million Jews.

"De Blasio said Trump -- and his surrogate former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani -- have been implying that voter fraud happens in urban communities with large populations of people of color and low-income voters."

Trump and Giuliani are indeed doing precisely this.

"First of all, Rudy Giuliani is increasingly delusional," de Blasio said. "Second, there's been so many studies of voter dynamics around the country that prove there is not meaningful voter fraud in this country at this point."

There is not.  Yet, this fact does not prevent Trump and his sick sycophants from falsely claiming otherwise.

"If Trump loses to Clinton, it won't be due to fraud but because he's run a campaign with ideas that American voters found problematic, de Blasio argued."

He's right.  Even mainstream Republicans understand this.  Are more concerned now with electing down ballot candidates in the election, retaining control of Congress, etc..  Interesting, isn't it?

Think Trump the only billionaire running for office who has unresolved unanswered financial issues?  NPR reports:

"West Virginia's Democratic candidate for governor is a billionaire, a philanthropist and a resort and coal mine owner who cites his business and mining experience as major attributes as he seeks to lead his home state out of a severe budget and economic crisis.  "I am not a career politician; I am a career businessman," wrote Jim Justice in an April 5 op-ed that appeared in the Charleston Gazette-Mail."

Credible?  Believe it?  Wake up.

"But an NPR investigation shows that Justice's mining companies still fail to pay millions of dollars in mine safety penalties two years after an earlier investigation documented the same behavior. Our analysis of federal data shows that Justice is now the nation's top mine safety delinquent."

Couldn't be, could it?

"His mining companies owe $15 million in six states, including property and minerals taxes, state coal severance and withholding taxes, and federal income, excise and unemployment taxes, as well as mine safety penalties, according to county, state and federal records."

How is it these guys run for office truly believing all this crap is not going to come out?

Think misogyny isn't alive and well in Nazi Texas?  The Statesman reports:

"Relatively obscure U.S. Rep. Brian Babin, R-Woodville, is obscure no more."

Indeed, he isn't.

"Defending Donald Trump's interjection at the end of Wednesday's debate, when the Republican presidential candidate called Democratic rival Hillary Clinton, "such a nasty woman," Babin said: "I think sometimes a lady needs to be told when she's being nasty."

The Congressman considers himself to be a "genteel Southerner."  Is that right?  Think so?   ... Hey, Congressman?  Anyone ever tell you you're a goddamned pompous jackass?  A clueless, condescending, patronizing misogynist?

10-28-16

LGBT issues remain quite important to members of the LGBT community as well as to an exponentially increasing number of us throughout the country who believe in equal rights and treatment for all.  Certainly know if the LGBT community is denied rights, the question always remains who's next?  ABC News has elegantly and concisely reported:

"Hillary Clinton is a staunch supporter of LGBT rights; she has endorsed the Equality Act, a proposed federal law that would provide comprehensive protections against discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity.

"Donald Trump says he would be a better president for gays than Clinton, yet major LGBT-rights groups strongly oppose him. Among the reasons: He has balked at endorsing same-sex marriage, his evangelical advisory board has included prominent opponents of advances in LGBT rights and running mate Mike Pence, Indiana's governor, last year signed a law that critics said would allow businesses to deny service to gay people for religious reasons."

At the same time, voters must remember the lesser of two evils is still evil.  Precisely, why some may not vote at all, -- or vote third party.  A landslide for Clinton would certainly give Madam President the false impression she has a mandate.  She will not.  If she indeed enjoys a landslide, it will occur because the electorate fears Trump exponentially more than Clinton herself.

Voters are reminded Clinton, if elected, will pose a continued exigent threat to the Second Amendment, that is, the last best defense against outrageously corrupt, abusive, inept government as intended by the Founders.  Also, it is highly likely Clinton will turn out to be a better 'Republican' than Trump himself since she clearly remains in the pocket of Wall Street.

Clinton and her entourage have yet to claim emails released by WikiLeaks have been altered.  If they are indeed original and untampered with, they certainly expose her as quite duplicitous.  That is, she says one thing to voters, another to her Wall Street benefactors who have clearly handsomely lined her pockets.  Her credibility, as it has been for decades, remains in question.

There will certainly be residual problems with Trump and his sick sycophants should he lose.  Precisely, why some in media are beginning to voice serious concern.  NPR reports:

"Jeffrey Goldberg, The Atlantic's new editor, has had a long career as a reporter, covering Israel, Pakistan and Iran, and spending hours interviewing President Obama.  And recently, Goldberg pressed for his magazine to endorse Hillary Clinton for president. He said it was right, even though it's only the third time in its history The Atlantic has endorsed a presidential candidate."

-- While other publications, some of whom had been staunchly Republican in the past, have also followed suit.  What is different about The Atlantic is the following exchange it had with NPR:

NPR:  "The election is about to happen, so it doesn't sound like you think this problem is going to end in November."

Goldberg:  "I can't imagine that millions of Trump voters — having watched him lose and possibly having him come out and say the election was rigged — I can't imagine that all of these millions of disaffected angry people are going to say, "Oh, well. Hillary Clinton won. I guess I gotta get behind her." I wish that — and that's a nonpartisan wish. I can't imagine that this goes away. I have to imagine, and I don't mean to sound overly pessimistic, but I have to imagine that it actually gets worse."

This has become a growing fear as Trump and his supporters continue to become increasingly psychotic, desperate, and unwilling to accept reality.  -- Trump lies and his supporters accept it as truth.  Consider the following which clearly invokes memories of Hitler's Third Reich:

NPR:  "On being one of the journalists named by the Anti-Defamation League who've been targeted the most with anti-Semitic tweets:"

Goldberg:  "Well, I am glad that Nazis hate me. I consider that a compliment.

"These are Neo-Nazis. These are Neo-Nazis on Twitter. And I'm inured to it in a kind of way because I wake up in the morning, and I open up Twitter and some days I'll have 100 messages all with basically the same theme, which is that I should be gassed and that my family should be put in the ovens. I'm inured to it, but I also think this is a challenge for Twitter in a way. I don't want to be on Twitter as much because I find it a little bit dispiriting to start my day with that kind of discourse. It doesn't scare me, but it just is dispiriting."

This is certainly the most vexing, chilling problem with Trump and his supporters.  They give vocal support to the rise of The Fourth Reich in our formerly great country.  Remain an exigent threat to liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties.

10-28-16

Madam Clinton seems to be getting a bit presumptuous about the outcome of the election.  Think not?  CNN reports:

"Hillary Clinton is steadily moving her focus beyond Donald Trump, increasingly planning for what she believes will be her transition to the presidency after a final two-week dash through battleground states.  Even as Clinton intensifies her efforts to help Democrats across the party, particularly trying to win control of the Senate, she is spending much of her time behind-the-scenes putting together a White House team and preparing for a task even tougher than taking on Trump: governing in the divisive election's aftermath."

A bit haughty, presumptuous in view of the fact the election is still a couple of weeks away.  Much could happen between now and then.  Should she win, Clinton will face enormous opposition in a country that will likely remain highly divided for the foreseeable future.  Republicans are already threatening to stonewall any and all initiatives she takes.  Including any nominations to the Supreme Court.

If the GOP manages to hold on to both the House and Senate, think Republicans will not attempt to impeach her?  They seem to have more than enough vis a vis the email server fiasco.  Won't likely let go of the Benghazi faux pas, either.  Hillary will need to very, very carefully navigate her way around a multitude of obstacles the GOP will likely quickly present her should she indeed win the election.

Amazing how political expediency now trumps principle.  Think not?  Wake up. The Washington Times reports:

"Eleven women have stepped forward in recent weeks to claim that Republican nominee Donald Trump had made inappropriate sexual advances to them at some point in the past. Do voters care about these allegations?  Maybe not so much, according a new poll of likely voters from Quinnipiac University, which found that only 27 percent of all voters said this information would be a “deal breaker” when determining their vote. Only 5 percent of Republican voters agreed. A third overall said these allegations were “not a big deal,” including 59 percent of Republicans."

This, sound like the Republican Party of Ronald Reagan?  Think the ole boy 'ain't' spinning in his grave?  This, now the Party of the family?

"• 51 percent overall think that Mr. Trump made sexual advances toward women in the past — 22 percent of Republicans, 45 percent of independents and 84 percent of Democrats agree; 56 percent of women voters and 44 percent of men also agree."

It's far more than "sexual advances."  It's called sexual assault as alleged by the women who stepped forward.  Don't confuse anyone with the truth, however.  -- Despite the fact naysayers, supporters of Trump heard and viewed the video themselves where Trump himself exalts sexual assault of women.

"• 35 percent overall say these allegations are a “big deal but not a deal breaker” in determining their support for Mr. Trump — 36 percent of Republicans, 36 percent of independents and 34 percent of Democrats agree; 34 percent of women and 36 percent of men agree."

What does this tell you?  A shift in thinking within the Republican Party?  Sexual assault, today, acceptable?  Misogyny, now okay?

"The poll also found that 55 percent of the voters overall said the media is biased against Mr. Trump; 88 percent of Republicans, 61 percent of independents and 20 percent of Democrats agree with that."

Fox News biased against Trump?  The Washington Times?   NPR?  Give me a break.

10-21-16

Amazing how the Fascist Right not-so-cleverly distorts reality.  Confuses principle with political expediency in an effort to desperately justify its excesses.  The Washington Times reports:

"Liberals love to share an old quote attributed to Sinclair Lewis that goes, “When fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross.” As always, the left gets it wrong.  When fascism comes to America, it will be adorned with corporate logos. Liberal fascism is taking over America and its proponents are corporations."

What liberals?  Where are they?  Madam Clinton, a liberalHow?  She is precisely where the Center used to be in our formerly great country.  Some 45 years ago.  That is, on some issues she's remarkably liberal.  On others, quite conservative.  Real problem, however?  She talks out both sides her ass.  Does so in different settings.  To different groups.  How can she be considered a liberal when she remains in the pockets of Wall Street and the banks?  The country has moved so far Nazi Right Clinton is now considered a liberal?  Ludicrous. Compared to what?

Think Trump, indeed a reincarnation of Hitler and Mussolini, not a fascist?  Hasn't wrapped himself in the Flag and the Cross?  Give me a break.  The piece of shit believes in neither.  Is no more than a narcissist like Hitler and Mussolini.  Wake up, readers.  Hitler and Mussolini claimed to be Christians.  As do Trump and Clinton.  Think both are?  Truly believe that?  Wake up.  They're shamelessly lining their pockets.  Lying like hell while doing so.

Both are no more than two-faced frauds.  Worse?  Both pose an existential threat to liberty and the United States Constitution.  Albeit, for two totally different reasons.  Liberal fascists?  Where?  Think disgraced former Wells Fargo CEO John Stumpf a liberal fascist?  Give me a f--king break.  Can't dazzle 'em with brilliance, baffle 'em with bullshit?  This is precisely, exactly what Right Wing rags do.  Remain achingly proficient at.

They've insanely, psychotically lost themselves.  Where?  Wake up.  Where else?  In their hopelessly, achingly discredited brand of Ayn Rand Atlas Shrugged laissez-faire capitalism.  A catastrophic ruse they continue to desperately cling to.  For dear life.  They don't know any better.  Don't confuse them with the truth.

Remain achingly oblivious to honesty, truth, principle.  Despite the fact laissez-faire capitalism, like Marxism, communism, have all desperately failed.  Neither extreme is sustainable.  The Right, to date, still fails to understand this.  Although the Trump fiasco, and what has become an ongoing civil war in the Republican Party, will likely permanently change the GOP.  Hopefully, for the better.  If not, both major parties have seen their day come and go.

10-21-16

An increasing portend of things to come?  You decide.  The Washington Post reports:

"If there had been any doubt, it has now become clear that this election campaign is about more than the selection of a president: The values that support American democracy are deteriorating. Large numbers of Americans across party lines have lost faith in their democracy, and many will not accept the legitimacy of this election."

Seems to certainly have been embraced by Trump partisans.  Not so clear, shills for Hillary present the very same challenge.  Be interesting to see how this develops.  No matter who wins, the country loses.  Think not?

10-21-16

The firebombing of a Republican office is indeed outrageous.  Unacceptable.  An exigent threat to a democratic republic.  The Washington Times reports:

"GOP vice presidential nominee Mike Pence on Tuesday condemned the recent firebombing of a Republican office in North Carolina as an “act of political terrorism” and said the narrative would likely be much different had something similar happened to a Democratic office."

Indeed, the firebombing is to be condemned.  His claim "the narrative would likely be much different had something similar happened to a Democratic office" is abject unadulterated bullshit.  Patently, false.  Mr. Pence clearly has no shame.  Reporting would have been identical no matter the party affiliation.

10-21-16

Third Presidential Debate?  As first two, a colossal bore.  Same old, same old.  Both candidates spoke over each other and the moderator.  Trump repeatedly interrupted Clinton.  The moderator failed to control the debate, -- despite his best efforts.  Should have turned off the mics when questions were sidestepped by both candidates.  Certainly, when both candidates repeatedly spoke over one another and the moderator.

One truly notable remark occurred toward the end of the 'debate.'  Unsurprisingly, but nonetheless chilling, Trump refused to state whether or not he would accept the results of the election.  Unprecedented.  An exigent threat to a democratic republic.  If he loses, what will he do?  Order his sick sycophants to occupy Washington?  In full uniform, that is, brown shirts and swastika armbands?

Worse?  The day after the debate, Trump amended his comment.  Once again, proved he's a goddamned fascist.  CNN reports:

"Donald Trump said Thursday he will accept the results of next months election -- if he wins, a caveat that again threatens to undermine the sanctity of the most fundamental democratic exercise.  "I would like to promise and pledge to all of my voters and supporters and to all of the people of the United States that I will totally accept the results of this great and historic presidential election," the Republican presidential nominee told supporters at a rally in Delaware, Ohio, his first comment since the final presidential debate Wednesday.  After pausing for effect, he said, "... if I win."

No problem with any of this?

10-14-16

Think Trump can get away with his latest faux pas?  A hot mic video recording highly disparaging of women, which under normal conditions, would clearly end any hopes of a Presidential candidate?  Think again.  These are not normal times.  Far from it.  Trump subsequently consequently quickly released a video apologizing for the recording to anyone offended while skewering Bill Clinton at the same time.  Who'd 'a 'thunk' it, no?  CNN reports:

"It has been one of the cliches of the 2016 presidential race that Trump can get away with comments and outrages that would sink any normal politician. But the video tests the limits of that assumption in a way unlike any of Trump's many previous controversies."

You think?  The following is extremely graphic.  It is quoted here exactly as it appeared in CNN:

"In a hot mic conversation first published by The Washington Post, Trump is seen and heard telling "Access Hollywood" host Billy Bush in 2005 of how he tried to "fuck" a married woman.  "I moved on her and I failed. I'll admit it," Trump said. "I did try and fuck her. She was married."  "I moved on her like a bitch, but I couldn't get there. And she was married," Trump adds, after saying he took the woman -- who is identified only by her first name -- out furniture shopping.  "Then all of a sudden I see her, she's now got the big phony tits and everything. She's totally changed her look," Trump says of the woman."

This what you want in the Oval Office?  Think this man qualified to be President of the United States?  Think Hillary doesn't have serious problems of her own as well?  Her speeches in front of Wall Street barons have come back to haunt her.  The Washington Post reports:

"Hillary Clinton’s paid closed-door speeches to Wall Street banks apparently included her dreams of “open trade and open borders” and a suggestion that bankers are best positioned to know how the industry should be regulated, according to hacked emails made public Friday by WikiLeaks."

The blatant hypocrisy and subterfuge reek.  If true, certainly throw Madam Clinton's fitness for the Presidency in question.

"The comments are drawn from an email describing speech transcripts that Clinton has refused to release despite months of intense criticism.  The email, apparently hacked from Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta, shows a staffer in the early stages of Clinton’s primary campaign against Sen. Bernie Sanders this year flagging speech excerpts that could be politically problematic."

Again, what we see here is further indication the political system in our formerly great country is broken.

"Sanders had questioned what Clinton had said to the financial institutions that paid her hundreds of thousands of dollars in speaking fees between the end of her tenure as secretary of state and the start of her run for the White House."

Think Sanders any better?  He cowardly endorsed her, didn't he?  What ever changes?  Same old, same old.  Political expediency.  Principle?  What's that?

"Clinton, for instance, described her free-trade ambitions during a 2013 appearance before the U.S. arm of a Brazilian banking group. Records show the group, Itaú BBA USA Securities, paid her $225,000.  “My dream is a hemispheric common market, with open trade and open borders,” she said, according to an email first reported by BuzzFeed."

The duplicity, if true, is not surprising.  She says one thing in front of one group.  Something totally different in front of another.  Trump does the same.  The hypocrisy reeks.  Egregiously, unacceptable.  Be interesting to see how both address this at the upcoming second Presidential Debate.  Hillary still refuses to come clean:

"The Clinton campaign on Friday night refused to authenticate the hacked emails, instead attacking WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, who has been openly critical of Clinton. The site released hacked Democratic National Committee emails over the summer that U.S. intelligence officials on Friday accused Russia of stealing.  “We are not going to confirm the authenticity of stolen documents released by Julian Assange, who has made no secret of his desire to damage Hillary Clinton,” Clinton spokesman Glen Caplin said."

Rings hollow.  Where is the transparency?  Honesty?  Adherence to principle?  Both candidates.  Yet, we still have jackass flunkies of "Hump The Rump" Trump who continue to make excuses for this piece of shit.  Think not?  Wake up.  One of them?  Ralph Reed.  A 'Christian' 'conservative.'

10-14-16

Second Presidential Debate?  Appalling.  Galling.  Pitiful.  Both candidates.  Nothing new of substance learned.  Nothing at all.  While the 'debate' was advertised as a 'town hall,' it was not.  Nowhere near.  Clearly, the public did not get its figurative shot at questioning both candidates.  Holding their feet to the fire.  Far from it.

Both candidates frequently interrupted each other and the two moderators.  Nearly continually spoke over one another as well as the moderators.  Trump falsely whined the moderators favored Clinton over him.  Simply untrue.  Indeed, Trump enjoyed approximately an additional minute of mic time over his opponent according to people timing the debate.

Neither candidate directly answered questions posed.  -- So what else is new, right?  Filibustered.  Got to the point where the moderators would comically repeat questions clearly stonewalled.  Much of the 'debate' centered on President Clinton's sexual dalliances.  Who cares?  How is it relevant to the current election?  ... Hey, "Hump The Rump?"  Can't dazzle 'em with brilliance, baffle 'em with bullshit?  Same question to "Pilloried Hillary?"  Pitiful.

Losers?  Who else?  The American public.  Long-suffering electorate.  Certainly, without question, the stand-up citizens who attended the 'debate' and expected to be heard.  Weren't.  Their best interests?  Ignored.  Designedly.  By both candidates as well as the moderators.  -- Both moderators, however, clearly displayed frustration with both candidates, -- particularly, "Hump The Rump."  ... With damned good reason.

Why the hell didn't they turn off the mic of both buffoons when they intentionally spoke over one another, interrupted each other, stonewalled questions as well as the moderators themselves?  This is the second straight debate both candidates behaved like idiots, -- not two people worthy of and aspiring to be President.

To their credit, however, the people running the debate did prevent one outrageous shenanigan planned by Trump and his handlers.  Get this.  Heard it first on NPR.  The quote, however, comes from Fox News.  Fox News.  Basically, whining.  Think not?

"Bill Clinton on Sunday night nearly came face-to-face with several of the women who’ve accused him of sexual assault; however, Donald Trump’s plan to put the former president’s previous indiscretions on public display hit a snag when debate officials threatened to call security."

You think?

"The Republican presidential nominee held a brief pre-debate press conference with Paula Jones, Juanita Broaddrick and Kathleen Willey, who’ve each accused Bill Clinton of sex assault or rape, and Kathy Shelton, a rape victim whose attacker was defended in 1975 by Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton. Top Trump adviser and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani told The Washington Post early Monday that Trump also planned to host those women in his personal seating box during the debate – putting them just feet away from Bill Clinton. The plan, however, was nixed by bigwigs in the presidential debate commission."

This is proof positive Trump and his handlers are shitting in their pants.  Know they're getting their asses ferociously kicked in the polls.  Equally pointedly?  While "Pilloried Hillary" gets to skate on the Wall Street baron speeches she gave that handsomely lined her pockets.  Think she isn't bought and paid for?  Wake up.

“We were going to put the four women in the VIP box,” Giuliani told The Post. “We had it all set. We wanted to have them shake hands with Bill, to see if Bill would shake hands with them.”  But Giuliani said Debate Commission Co-Chair Frank Fahrenkopf told him security would throw the women out.  “The women were outraged,” Giuliani said. “They were in the holding room and ready to go. No one was pushing them. They volunteered. But I knew the minute we got pushback that we had gotten into their heads. [Hillary Clinton] was rattled. They were rattled.”

Giuliani has clearly lost his mind.  This goddamned fascist piece of shit has his head so far up his ass his national socialist eyeballs have turned inside out.  What the hell is going on here?  Have the Republicans lost their mind?  The very same can be asked of Democrats.  What ever happened to supremacy of principle?  Primacy of issues important to the long-suffering public?  The public and best interests of this country no longer matter to partisans.

Gets worse.  Wake up.  These people have absolutely no respect for themselves and our formerly great country.  None at all.  No regard for it.  Only narrow party  interests.  Regarding Trump and gallingly, Fox also reports:

"Significantly, he won praise Monday morning from running mate Mike Pence. In normal circumstances in a normal election cycle, that praise would be taken for granted – but it followed widespread speculation about the Indiana governor and staunch Christian conservative’s willingness to stay on the ticket in the wake of the vulgar footage controversy.  "The real story this morning is that Donald Trump stepped up and won a debate last night that seemed to be against all odds," Pence told "Fox & Friends" on Monday."

He did?  Really think so, Mr. Pence?  That delusional?  So partisan you no longer see the forest for the trees?  One has to question the profound hypocrisy of this equally fascist son of a bitch who like Trump desperately wishes to force his perverse ideological and religious views on all in direct violation of the First Amendment Establishment Clause, that is, church-state separation.  Think not?  Wake up.

Pence has certainly demonstrated profound willingness to do so vis a vis LGBT issues and rights.  Right, Mr. Pence?  ... Hey, Mikey?  Doesn't your religion teach otherwise?  That is, to love your neighbor as yourself?  Treat all equally?  With respect?  Wouldn't want to confuse a 'Christian' fascist with the truth, would we, Mr. Pence?

Proof positive Trump is a national socialist in the mold of Hitler and Mussolini?  His threat to launch a criminal investigation of Hillary should he be elected President.  The President does not get to do so in a democratic republic.  There is supposed to be separation between the Oval Office and the 'Justice' Department.  For damned good reason.

There is to be no abuse of power.  As had occurred during the Kennedy Administration with the President's brother, Bobby Kennedy, as Attorney General.  Precisely, why no relative of the President can now be U.S. Attorney General.  No nepotism.  No abuse of power is to be tolerated.  Equally pointedly?

Forget the "Saturday Night Massacre?"  Occurred during the Nixon Administration.  Forget?  When "Tricky Dick" Nixon desperately attempted to manipulate the 'Justice' Department into firing Archibald Cox.  To protect Nixon's criminal ass.  Remember the consequences of the late President's attempt to do so?

Now, we have a goddamned national socialist called Trump who wishes to place the country into an exceptionally similar circumstance vis a vis Hillary and her heretofore unprosecuted escapades.  Think it will fly?  Think this country doesn't already have enough to deal with?  How could anyone vote for, support and defend a fascist son of a bitch who has already claimed he will abuse his power?  This acceptable to the long-suffering public?

Trump even managed to raise the pique of professional athletes during the debate.  "Locker room talk?"  Not so according to angry Tweets all across the United States.  What is particularly interesting is the fact Billy Bush, participant and proponent of the misogynist video at heart of the fiasco, is a member of the Bush Dynasty.  Who'd 'a 'thunk' it, no?

This piece of shit has reportedly been suspended by his current employer.  Happens to be a cousin of Jeb Bush.  Raises the question why didn't Jeb use this video during the Primary against old "Hump The Rump?"  Could it be, Jeb himself feared Trump might do the same to him?  Return the favor?  Again, these two candidates the best this country has to offer?  Only choices available?  Another ferociously pointed question.  How is it both VP candidates have not already resigned in protest from their respective tickets?  No honor among thieves?  None at all?

10-7-16

The Presidential Campaign has grown far more divisive and irrelevant in recent days.  Turning dirty.  That dirt, however, is achingly irrelevant to the election.  There are far more important issues.  Who cares about Bill Clinton's marital history or that of the multiple failed marriages of ole "Hump The Rump" Trump?  If they include no sexual assault or abuse of any kind, they are irrelevant and a needless distraction.

What is of far greater concern is Trump's glaring unfitness for office.  His continued verbal attacks against a former beauty pageant winner are indicative of his instability, narcissism, thin-skinned  inability to withstand any criticism at all.  What the hell does he think things will be like should he win the Presidency?  A cake walk?  Does he think he can, as nazi fuhrer, squelch all criticism directed against him?

Needs to release his taxes. Now.  The electorate has a right to this information.  Otherwise, how can they make an informed decision?  On this, and many, many other issues?  Run for office?  You forfeit a modicum of privacy.  Goes with the territory.  That's always been a part of political life.  He seems to think he deserves special treatment, consideration not enjoyed by others who run for office.

Precisely, why he refuses to inform the electorate by releasing this information since he clearly fears it will offer evidence he's not quite as successful as he claims to be, or as ethical.

CNN reports:

"Hillary Clinton's campaign Saturday night seized on a New York Times report about Donald Trump's 1995 tax records, in which the Times showed he declared a $916 million loss that could have allowed him to legally skip paying federal income taxes for years."

Trump can't possibly irrationally believe continued stonewalling of requests to release his tax returns will end any time soon, can he?  Needs to come clean.  Amazing, how many people are now coming out of the wood work.  Where were they a year ago?  Where were media?  Can tell you precisely what the problem is.  Have already done so many times in this publication.  Forget?

There is so little hard hitting investigative reporting going on for one reason and one reason only, essentially.  Advertising income dries up as soon as toes are stepped on.  Really no more complicated than that.  It's the money, stupid.  More accurately, the lack thereof.  Publishers also fear being sued by bastards like Trump.  -- If you have no assets, however, it truly doesn't matter.  Besides, a lawsuit provides discovery.  Useful to expose the bastards for whom and what they are.  Indeed, an ace in the hole.

10-7-16

Aggressive stupidity knows no bounds.  Misogyny, indeed is alive and well.  Not only here in Nazi Llano County, however.  -- Every time I happen to foolishly think I've heard it all, I'm ferociously reminded I 'ain't' heard shit.  Get this.  Indeed, something else.  Achingly, inexplicable.  Especially, in 2016.  You'd think it was 1950.  The Washington Post reports:

"Minutes after Oregon Gov. Kate Brown (D) revealed in a debate Friday night that she had been a victim of domestic violence, her Republican opponent said that educated women are less susceptible to such abuse."

Is that right?  Think so?  Would you believe this clueless son of a bitch happens to be a male doctor?

"A woman that has great education and training and a great job is not susceptible to this kind of abuse by men, women or anyone," said Bud Pierce, an oncologist."

Again, this is further proof positive the medical 'profession' remains achingly condescending, patronizing, insanely clueless, an embarrassment to itself.  ... At least, physicians who are middle aged and male.  Precisely, why women are not well-served by these buffoons.

"Okay, so," Pierce continued over the boos. "Powerful women have access to lawyers and courts and go at it. But the women who are most vulnerable are poor women who don't have a place to turn, because they don't have shelter or family around them. So I would argue that in addition to strong laws and going after every sexual predator and every abuser, the way we can make every woman ... less susceptible to being harmed is to make them powerful."

What a crock of achingly clueless, unadulterated bullshit.  Time to retire, Doc.  You're unfit.  A hopeless jackass.  An embarrassment to yourself, your supposed 'profession,' and the male half of the species.  It would be a mistake, ladies, to think all men are like this.  They're not.  Not all of us.  ... Right, TL?

Gutless, achingly hypocritical lawmakers are already backtracking on their vote to allow 9/11 families to sue the Saudis.  The Washington Times reports:

"The White House blasted lawmakers Thursday for suffering “buyer’s remorse” in their first override of a veto by President Obama, after the top two Republican leaders said they’re prepared to rewrite the measure that allows victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks to sue Saudi Arabia in U.S. courts."

These gutless bastards remain clearly unfit for office.  An embarrassment.

"House Speaker Paul D. Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said the measure could have unintended consequences, including exposure of U.S. soldiers to retaliatory lawsuits by foreign governments.  “I would like to think there’s a way we can fix so that our service members do not have legal problems overseas while still protecting the rights of the 9/11 victims,” Mr. Ryan told reporters Thursday, one day the House voted 348-77 to override Mr. Obama’s veto.  Mr. McConnell said changes to the law are “worth further discussing,” saying he too was worried about unintended consequences of the measure."

This is precisely why all 535 in Congress need to go.  Refuse to do what's in the best interest of the public.  Political expediency trumps principle.   These achingly clueless pieces of shit need to review and revise all sovereign immunity statutes on the federal level.  All of them.  So do state legislators.  These statutes at both levels guaranty an unacceptable, achingly unjust status quo remains in place.  That is, little to no accountability.

Why?  Wake up.  Achingly, simple.  To please their corporate masters who run and own them.  To ensure the top 1% remain in control of the bottom 99%.  Hear the rumble?  An unwanted dreaded second American revolution already catastrophically looming on the horizon. That deaf?  Or, is it raging cowardice?  Aggressive stupidity?

Once in awhile, an egregiously unfit 'judge' gets his.  The Washington Post reports:

"Alabama’s top judge was suspended from the bench and removed from office without pay for the remainder of his term, the state’s Court of the Judiciary ruled Friday."

This guy received coverage earlier in this publication and elsewhere over his refusal to enforce the The First Amendment Establishment Clause.  Worse?  He deliberately violated it.

"This is the second time Roy S. Moore, chief justice of the Alabama Supreme Court, has been effectively removed from office, following his ouster in 2003 over his refusal to obey judicial rulings ordering him to remove a Ten Commandments statue from the Alabama Judicial Building."  A complaint was filed by the Alabama Judicial Inquiry Commission charging Moore with violating judicial ethics in issuing an order in January stating that probate judges in the state “have a ministerial duty not to issue” marriage licenses to same-sex couples."

This unfit son of a bitch, exceptionally poor excuse for a 'judge,' apparently wants, justifies a Christian theocracy.  A blatant violation of the First Amendment.  This is a country of many religions, and in some cases, none.  Desperately wishes to impose his exceptionally perverse religious and ideological views on the rest of us from the bench.  That's egregiously unacceptable.

Trump has pending legal problems with the State of New York.  NPR reports:

"The office of New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman issued a "Notice of Violation" to the Donald J. Trump Foundation and ordered the foundation to cease and desist from soliciting contributions in New York."

Chickens finally coming home to roost?

"The notice states that the Trump Foundation failed to register with the Charities Bureau before soliciting contributions or engaging in fundraising activities."

Imagine that.  Couldn't be, could it?  "Hump The Rump" doesn't think the law applies to the top of the food chain?

"Schneiderman's office said in a press release it found that "the Trump Foundation 'is in violation of section 172 of Article 7-A New York's Executive Law, which requires charitable organizations that solicit contributions in New York State to register with the Charities Bureau and to provide annual financial reports and annual audited financial statements.' Despite failing to register pursuant to Article 7-A, the Trump Foundation solicited contributions in New York State earlier this year, in violation of New York law."

The elite wouldn't, couldn't afford to disobey the law, could they?

"The notice directs the Trump Foundation to 'immediately cease soliciting contributions or engaging in other fundraising activities in New York' and 'to provide the [AG's] Charities Bureau with the information specified in Section 172 within fifteen (15) days' of receiving the notice."

Wouldn't want to inconvenience the son of a bitch, would we?  After all, he's running for President, forget?  The bastard's above the law according to his sick sycophants, isn't he?  ... Right, TL?  Tim?  Ben?

Insult to injury?  Get this.  CBS News reports:

"The cease-and-desist letter was issued a day after The Washington Post reported that Trump’s foundation never obtained the certification required to solicit donations from the public.  Last month, New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman revealed that his office had been investigating the Trump Foundation’s activities to see if it violated state law."

Interesting, isn't it? Worse?  Get this:

"Schneiderman explained that the initial line of inquiry involved the breaking of tax laws by Trump’s foundation when it made a $25,000 political contribution to Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi. The Washington Post reported that the Trump might have also violated IRS rules by spending his nonprofit’s money to buy a $20,000 portrait of himself and a $12,000 autographed football helmet. The Post also reported last month that Trump used his foundation to settle lawsuits that involved his businesses, spending more than $250,000 from the Trump Foundation over the last decade."

Be fascinating to see whether any of this has traction, -- or Trump conveniently buys his way out.

10-7-16

The Vice-Presidential Debate turned out quite a bore.  Both men spoke over each other, -- and the moderator.  Especially, Tim Kaine.  ... Was the Democrat emulating "Hump The Rump" Trump?  Both men determinedly, intentionally ignored valid criticism of their respective running mates.  Nothing new was learned.  Nothing that had not already been ubiquitously reported in media.  ... Other than the observation both men are better qualified to be President than their mentors, "Hump the Rump," "Pilloried Hillary."

That's not saying much, however.  Forget?  Both are good, gifted, professional, practiced debaters.  Attack dogs.  Party stalwarts.  Doesn't mean either has substance, -- or vision, however.  Both parties are growing old, tired, irrelevant.  The debates are empty.  Ring hollow.  Candidates lie, distort reality, cannot be trusted.  With a population over 300 million, it's sad this is the best our formerly great country has to offer.

Amazing how the first Presidential debate, as well, provided nothing new of substance.  Clearly, questioning in both debates leaves much to be desired.  Was not sufficiently probing, ferociously pointed when necessary.  Worse?  Neither moderator had control of the debaters' microphones.  Should have turned them off when candidates talked over each other, the moderator, and refused to responsively answer questions.

Both Richard Nixon and John F. Kennedy must be spinning in their graves.  Readers are reminded their 1960 Presidential Debate was indeed a classic.  Both debaters embraced decorum, answered questions responsively.  The public was well-served.  The debate substantive, informative, revealing.  Unlike what happens today.

What is particularly interesting is the fact that not once during the Vice-Presidential Debate on 10-4-16 did Kaine skewer Pence on his highly discriminatory anti-LGBT stance.  NBC News reports:

"Tuesday night's vice presidential debate left lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender advocates stunned, after 90 minutes of questioning failed to address a single LGBTQ issue.

"Mike Pence has made a career of singling out LGBT people for discrimination, and it is disappointing tonight's debate did not address his long record of using public office to advance his backward views," Aisha C. Moodie-Mills, president of the Victory Fund, the nation's largest LGBTQ political action committee, said."

Did not.  Glaring omission.  Must have been out to lunch, no?  Missed opportunity.  Golden opportunity squandered.  Pence could have been easily skewered.  Should be kept in mind both men are indeed Catholics.  Shouldn't, however, have prevented Kaine from criticizing Pence's appalling homophobic bigotry.  Interestingly, the moderator, as well, failed to ask any questions on this topic.  Why not?

9-30-16

In an exceptional act of cowardice, Sen. Ted (Screws Loose) Cruz has endorsed Donald Trump for President.  This, despite the fact ole "Hump The Rump" insulted the wife of Cruz and falsely claimed the father of Cruz had alleged involvement in the assassination of President Kennedy.  Once again, the Senator is proof positive political expediency trumps conscience.  -- Pun intended.

9-30-16

Think bigotry isn't alive and well in our formerly great country?  Think again.  Get this.  It's pitiful.  CBS News reports:

"Donald Trump’s campaign chair in a key Ohio county is resigning, following a firestorm over comments she made regarding racism and how it didn’t exist before President Obama took office."

Think so?  Really?

"In an interview with the Guardian earlier this week, Kathy Miller, former chair of Trump’s campaign in Mahoning County, asserted that, “growing up as a kid, there was no racism, believe me.”

Amazing, isn't it?

“I don’t think there was any racism until Obama got elected. We never had problems like this,” Miller said. “Now, with the people with the guns, and shooting up neighborhoods, and not being responsible citizens, that’s a big change, and I think that’s the philosophy that Obama has perpetuated on America.”

Amazing, isn't it?  This, a campaign operative to be trusted?

"Miller made other controversial comments in the interview, saying, “if you’re black and you haven’t been successful in the last 50 years, it’s your own fault. You’ve had every opportunity, it was given to you.”

Gets better.

“You’ve had the same schools everybody else went to. You had benefits to go to college that white kids didn’t have,” she said. “You had all the advantages and didn’t take advantage of it. It’s not our fault, certainly.”

The Aryan arrogance of this clueless national socialist, clearly in the mold of Adolf and Benito, is stunning.  Worse?  It's not a rarity in the GOP.  Not that Democrats are any better, however.  Progressives pay lip service.  Have egregiously failed to force desperately needed change.

Republicans were quick to react to limit damage:

"After Mark Munroe, the GOP chair for the county, heard the comments, he told the Guardian that he contacted the Trump campaign in Ohio to have Miller dismissed."

You think?

“We should not let those really inappropriate comments affect the Trump campaign,” Munroe told the paper."

Too late.  The damage?   Already done.  Once again, the truth came out.  This is now the Republican Party.  What they have become.  At least, way too many of them.  Hopefully, not all.

"Miller resigned shortly after, saying in a statement that her statements had been “inappropriate.”

You think?  Not just "inappropriate," however.  Goddamned racist.

“My personal comments were inappropriate, and I apologize.  I am not a spokesperson for the campaign and was not speaking on its behalf,” she said. “I have resigned as the volunteer campaign chair in Mahoning County and as an elector to the Electoral College to avoid any unnecessary distractions.”

Goddamned pitiful.  Achingly, appalling.  This piece of shit still doesn't get it, however.  She's a goddamned racist.  Clearly, has no intention of changing.

9-30-16

Sadly, the President of the United States simply doesn't get it.  Sovereign immunity must be reviewed.  At all levels of government.  Not just at the federal level.  Nearly twenty years ago, a federal jury in Austin ruled a rape had indeed occurred in the Llano County Jail but awarded no cash damages due to sovereign immunity statutes.  Consequently, the victim received no compensation for what happened to her.

The jackbooted bastard Llano County Sheriff at the time was Nathan Garrett.  He and the County escaped responsibility for the rape which occurred on his watch.  Due to his and others' dereliction of duty.  There was no justice.  Similarly, the victims of the 9/11 catastrophe received no compensation from the Saudi government that is widely believed to have supported the terrorists responsible.

The President's veto of the Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act (JASTA) is not only appalling, but a true indication the President places international relations ahead of justice.  Our formerly great country needs to re-think, re-consider all sovereign immunity laws at all levels of government.

They designedly protect the jackbooted bastards in government, usually no matter what they do or don't do.  These statutes desperately need to be revised to strictly limit protection for these outrageously corrupt, abusive, inept pieces of human excrement who do all they can to line their pockets, get their cookies off eviscerating liberty.

The following is the statement that accompanied the President's veto of JASTA.  Hopefully, it will be overridden by Congress.  Would certainly be a step in the right direction of holding these bastards in Saudi Arabia accountable for their reported material support of the 9/11 terrorists.  Remember this bill only allows victims to sue in a court of law.  Does not guaranty victims will receive compensation.  Only their day in court.

September 23, 2016
Veto Message from the President -- S.2040

TO THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES:

I am returning herewith without my approval S. 2040, the "Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act" (JASTA), which would, among other things, remove sovereign immunity in U.S. courts from foreign governments that are not designated state sponsors of terrorism.

I have deep sympathy for the families of the victims of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 (9/11), who have suffered grievously. I also have a deep appreciation of these families' desire to pursue justice and am strongly committed to assisting them in their efforts.

Consistent with this commitment, over the past 8 years, I have directed my Administration to pursue relentlessly al Qa'ida, the terrorist group that planned the 9/11 attacks. The heroic efforts of our military and counterterrorism professionals have decimated al-Qa'ida's leadership and killed Osama bin Laden. My Administration also strongly supported, and I signed into law, legislation which ensured that those who bravely responded on that terrible day and other survivors of the attacks will be able to receive treatment for any injuries resulting from the attacks. And my Administration also directed the Intelligence Community to perform a declassification review of "Part Four of the Joint Congressional Inquiry into Intelligence Community Activities Before and After the Terrorist Attacks of September 11," so that the families of 9/11 victims and broader public can better understand the information investigators gathered following that dark day of our history.

Notwithstanding these significant efforts, I recognize that there is nothing that could ever erase the grief the 9/11 families have endured. My Administration therefore remains resolute in its commitment to assist these families in their pursuit of justice and do whatever we can to prevent another attack in the United States. Enacting JASTA into law, however, would neither protect Americans from terrorist attacks nor improve the effectiveness of our response to such attacks. As drafted, JASTA would allow private litigation against foreign governments in U.S. courts based on allegations that such foreign governments' actions abroad made them responsible for terrorism-related injuries on U.S. soil. This legislation would permit litigation against countries that have neither been designated by the executive branch as state sponsors of terrorism nor taken direct actions in the United States to carry out an attack here. The JASTA would be detrimental to U.S. national interests more broadly, which is why I am returning it without my approval.

First, JASTA threatens to reduce the effectiveness of our response to indications that a foreign government has taken steps outside our borders to provide support for terrorism, by taking such matters out of the hands of national security and foreign policy professionals and placing them in the hands of private litigants and courts.

Any indication that a foreign government played a role in a terrorist attack on U.S. soil is a matter of deep concern and merits a forceful, unified Federal Government response that considers the wide range of important and effective tools available. One of these tools is designating the foreign government in question as a state sponsor of terrorism, which carries with it a litany of repercussions, including the foreign government being stripped of its sovereign immunity before U.S. courts in certain terrorism-related cases and subjected to a range of sanctions. Given these serious consequences, state sponsor of terrorism designations are made only after national security, foreign policy, and intelligence professionals carefully review all available information to determine whether a country meets the criteria that the Congress established.

In contrast, JASTA departs from longstanding standards and practice under our Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act and threatens to strip all foreign governments of immunity from judicial process in the United States based solely upon allegations by private litigants that a foreign government's overseas conduct had some role or connection to a group or person that carried out a terrorist attack inside the United States. This would invite consequential decisions to be made based upon incomplete information and risk having different courts reaching different conclusions about the culpability of individual foreign governments and their role in terrorist activities directed against the United States -- which is neither an effective nor a coordinated way for us to respond to indications that a foreign government might have been behind a terrorist attack.

Second, JASTA would upset longstanding international principles regarding sovereign immunity, putting in place rules that, if applied globally, could have serious implications for U.S. national interests. The United States has a larger international presence, by far, than any other country, and sovereign immunity principles protect our Nation and its Armed Forces, officials, and assistance professionals, from foreign court proceedings. These principles also protect U.S. Government assets from attempted seizure by private litigants abroad. Removing sovereign immunity in U.S. courts from foreign governments that are not designated as state sponsors of terrorism, based solely on allegations that such foreign governments' actions abroad had a connection to terrorism-related injuries on U.S. soil, threatens to undermine these longstanding principles that protect the United States, our forces, and our personnel.

Indeed, reciprocity plays a substantial role in foreign relations, and numerous other countries already have laws that allow for the adjustment of a foreign state's immunities based on the treatment their governments receive in the courts of the other state. Enactment of JASTA could encourage foreign governments to act reciprocally and allow their domestic courts to exercise jurisdiction over the United States or U.S. officials -- including our men and women in uniform -- for allegedly causing injuries overseas via U.S. support to third parties. This could lead to suits against the United States or U.S. officials for actions taken by members of an armed group that received U.S. assistance, misuse of U.S. military equipment by foreign forces, or abuses committed by police units that received U.S. training, even if the allegations at issue ultimately would be without merit. And if any of these litigants were to win judgments -- based on foreign domestic laws as applied by foreign courts -- they would begin to look to the assets of the U.S. Government held abroad to satisfy those judgments, with potentially serious financial consequences for the United States.

Third, JASTA threatens to create complications in our relationships with even our closest partners. If JASTA were enacted, courts could potentially consider even minimal allegations accusing U.S. allies or partners of complicity in a particular terrorist attack in the United States to be sufficient to open the door to litigation and wide-ranging discovery against a foreign country -- for example, the country where an individual who later committed a terrorist act traveled from or became radicalized. A number of our allies and partners have already contacted us with serious concerns about the bill. By exposing these allies and partners to this sort of litigation in U.S. courts, JASTA threatens to limit their cooperation on key national security issues, including counterterrorism initiatives, at a crucial time when we are trying to build coalitions, not create divisions.

The 9/11 attacks were the worst act of terrorism on U.S. soil, and they were met with an unprecedented U.S. Government response. The United States has taken robust and wide-ranging actions to provide justice for the victims of the 9/11 attacks and keep Americans safe, from providing financial compensation for victims and their families to conducting worldwide counterterrorism programs to bringing criminal charges against culpable individuals. I have continued and expanded upon these efforts, both to help victims of terrorism gain justice for the loss and suffering of their loved ones and to protect the United States from future attacks. The JASTA, however, does not contribute to these goals, does not enhance the safety of Americans from terrorist attacks, and undermines core U.S. interests.

For these reasons, I must veto the bill.

BARACK OBAMA

THE WHITE HOUSE,
September 23, 2016.

Subsequent to all the above, Congress voted to override the veto.  More to come in the next edition.  -- There are some in the legal community who strongly argue this bill was too watered down from the original to result in any compensation for 9/11 victims.

The President talks, does nothing.  The Washington Times reports:

"In his final address to the United Nations, President Obama took swipes at Russian President Vladimir Putin and Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump for embracing authoritarianism and seeking to reverse international cooperation.  Without mentioning Mr. Trump by name, Mr. Obama decried “strongmen” and the rise of “a crude populism, sometimes from the far left but more often from the far right.”

All talk, no action.  Precisely, why Putin does as he pleases.  Worse?  "Hump The Rump" appeals to the idiot masses.  "Pilloried Hillary" is believed by her sycophants.

Then again, the same can be said of Sen. Ted "Screws Loose"  Cruz.  Criticizing the President and his UN speech in his most recent newsletter Cruz opines:

“At the United Nations today, President Obama took to the podium to once again blame the United States for the woes of the world,” Sen. Cruz said. “He suggested our country is just one of many that need to get beyond the old divisions of nationality. He chided those who would limit the inflow of refugees from nations infiltrated by Islamic terrorists as ignorant bigots, predicted climate change would destroy countries and cause mass conflicts, and referred to Israel as an occupying power… Unfortunately, President Obama chose to deliver a lecture on the need to abdicate our sovereignty in the interests of abstract international norms. Ironically, that is the worst thing America could do for the world, which needs strong leadership to promote peace, not capitulation to an unelected, authoritarian collective.”

The Senator clearly does not live in the same world as the rest of us.  Distorts reality and lies to advance his national socialist agenda.  Precisely, why he has no traction even in a Republican-controlled Senate.  To say nothing of the American public.

9-30-16

Nothing new was learned at the first Presidential Debate, 9/26/16.  In that sense, the debate was a failure.  Clearly, however, Clinton was prepared.  Trump was not.  Hillary kept her cool.  Trump lost his.  Moderator Lester Holt allowed them carte blanche.  -- Despite disingenuous complaints to the contrary by Fox and The Washington Times.  Holt did his best, however, under the circumstances.

Had no choice but to challenge more than a few 'inaccuracies' perpetrated by Trump.  Otherwise, he would have appeared to viewers as not having done his job.  Got a lot of criticism from the Right, however.  Apparently, they insanely expected him, as a registered Republican, to have stuck it to Clinton.

Clinton was largely spared the same treatment since she carefully navigated the questions, did not appear as the lying shyster lawyer she so often appears to be.  This time her performance was beyond reproach.  Kept her cool.  Unlike Trump, her responses were measured, carefully considered.  -- Despite the fact the moderator, indeed, allowed Trump to continually interrupt her, filibuster nearly continuously on his answers, talk over both Clinton and the moderator.  A zoo.

Trump took the bait Clinton provided.  Lost his cool, composure certainly on her challenge of his wealth, initial not-so-small loan Trump received from dear old dad when he started his career as a business tycoon.  Reportedly, some $1-14 million.  To say nothing of her challenge of outrageously misogynist comments he made about a Latina former beauty contest winner, -- and her weight gain from an eating disorder.  What we saw here was the real Trump.  The unvarnished, misogynist son of a bitch he truly is.

While analysis of the performance of both candidates has been widely reported and will not be repeated here in great detail, there are a few interesting observations to be made.  Trump seems to believe unbridled capitalism grants him carte blanche to do as he pleases.  Six bankruptcies, four of which he owns up to, he perversely considers to be good business practice.

He also understands and supports efforts of the corporate management suite to move its business overseas, not only to avoid but to evade U.S. corporate taxes.  Seems to delusionally believe additional corporate welfare for these businesses, that is a lower corporate tax rate, will result in their return to this country.

He's gotten it achingly ass backwards.  Congress should have already passed statutes that would have forced forfeiture of all assets and American citizenship for the corporate management suite that chose to relocate overseas to evade U.S. taxes and regulations.  Why, however, would Congress do so?  Forget?  All 535 of our legislators are bought and paid for by their corporate masters.  They're owned.  That's precisely why this bullshit continues unabated.

Trump stressed 'law and order' during the debate.  Painted a stark picture of rampant out of control crime that does not match reality.  The FBI, the very same day of the debate, reported an extremely modest increase in crime, most of it in several cities.  Yet, Trump won't be confused with the truth.  Continues to lie, distort reality with impunity.  Stresses phony law and order like Hitler did during all the old Nazi newsreels.

Clinton has not, and apparently will not, call for the arrest, prosecution, conviction, imprisonment and/or execution of the jackbooted bastards in blue who continue to murder innocent citizens on the job.  Cluelessly, lamely, however, calls for police 'retraining.'  Bullshit.  Criminal police officers need to be held criminally responsible in a court of law, Madam Secretary.  Not protected and coddled.  Otherwise, the unwanted dreaded second American revolution already catastrophically looming on the horizon could indeed become reality.

Trump continued to stonewall his retracted 'birther' claims during the debate.  Figuratively, shot himself in the ass again.  When will he smarten up?  All the continued stonewalling did was confirm his bigotry.  Think Blacks and Latinos didn't notice?  This hopelessly fascist bastard cannot seem to tell the truth.  Get his facts straight, on the mark.

Falsely accused Clinton of fighting ISIS her entire life.  This hopelessly clueless, uninformed bastard seems to have conveniently forgotten ISIS has only been in existence several years.  Worse?  That al Qaeda morphed into ISIS due to George "The Tush" Bush and "Slick Dick" Cheney's invasion of Iraq under false pretenses. Trump continues, however, to falsely blame Obama for our hasty withdrawal from Iraq at the beginning of the Obama Regime.

Not so.  Bush had already put the planned exit from Iraq in place due to the failure of the Iraqi leadership to agree to continued American troop presence under the command of the U.S. military, military law, and not the laws of the Iraqi leadership.  Yet, when Clinton pointed this out to Trump during the debate, he ignored it.  Falsely, repeated it again during the very same debate.  Imagine that.  Don't confuse the nazi with the truth.  He's too damned stupid.

Most ludicrous portion of the debate?  Trump's repeated heated insistence his temperament is Presidential and far more in control than Hillary's.  Indeed, generated a derisive laugh from the audience.  Her response? "Whew!!!"  "Okay!"  Got to love it.  Another great comedic moment occurred when Trump pledged to release his taxes if she released the missing 30,000 plus emails. After repeatedly, disingenuously, falsely claiming he cannot release them because he is under audit.  He's lying.  Clearly, out of control.

Most interesting themes missing from the debate?  Liberty.  Limited government.  Sad, isn't it?  Bottom line?  Care to bet the debate did nothing to change the political split in our formerly great country?  At least, not yet.  Maybe never.  The next two debates ought to be interesting.  Trump plans to take off the gloves.  Think "Pilloried Hillary" won't respond in kind?

Since Trump won't stop filibustering, interrupting, talking over both Clinton and the moderator, a Lincoln-Douglas style debate could be most interesting.  No moderator.  Let 'em go toe to toe for hours.  See who drops first.  Who has the most endurance at 70, pushing 70, respectively.  Then again, in today's climate the results could indeed be fascinating, but hopelessly disastrous.  Not only for both, however, but the long-suffering public in our formerly great country.  Sarcastically said, doesn't get any better than this, does it?  ... The dream?  ... All but dead.   On life support.  Let 'em eat cake, right, Donald?  Hillary?

NPR recently reported a story about an iconic event I had forgotten dating back to 1976:

"We all know the photo: It captures the rage, division and the racial tension from 40 years ago, that is still so present now in our country.

"Titled "The Soiling of Old Glory," the photo won a Pulitzer Prize for breaking news photography. Stanley Forman took the picture on April 5, 1976, for what was then the Boston Herald American.

"For the time (it) has everything you want in the picture," says Forman. If you've seen the picture, it's hard to forget. A young, white man lunges at a black man with the sharp point of a flagpole, with the American flag attached."

Sadly, the issue at the time was Boston busing desegregation.  The photo is stunning.  Depicts what amounts to egregious Flag desecration.  To say nothing of outrageous racism.

Not surprisingly, ole "Hump The Rump" Trump has once again figuratively shot himself in the ass.  Doesn't your heart bleed?  NBC News reports:

"The latest episode began Wednesday when Trump took issue with Pastor Faith Green Timmons for interrupting him at her church. The candidate had begun to attack Hillary Clinton, prompting Timmons to ask him to focus on local issues.  "Mr. Trump, I invited you here to thank us for what we've done in Flint, not give a political speech," the pastor said.  "Okay, that's good," Trump said at the time. "Then I'm going to go back to Flint."

Readers?   Don't forget this clueless bastard was in church.  Think church an appropriate place to personally attack another candidate?  Think it yet another fine example of 'Christian' 'charity?'  Clearly, the Pastor did not think so.

"But in a Thursday interview on "Fox & Friends," Trump depicted Timmons as a "nervous mess" who planned to blindside him all along in order to embarrass his campaign.  "When she got up to introduce me she was so nervous, she was shaking, and I said 'Wow, this is sort of strange,' and then she came up," Trump said. "So she had that in mind, there's no question about it."

Trump remains a congenital liar.  Got it ass backwards.  Imagine that.

"In Trumpian fashion, the candidate depicted the exchange as a dramatic — and inaccurate — morality play about a conniving religious leader attempting to sabotage him only to be upbraided by her predominantly black churchgoers, who stood with him against their own pastor.  "I'll tell you what really made me feel good, the audience was saying 'Let him speak, let him speak!' and the audience was so great," Trump said. "And these are mostly African-American people, phenomenal people, and they want to see change. I mean you know they're living in — you have to see, the crime rate over there is ridiculous."  In fact, the exact opposite had occurred. Rather than the congregation shouting support for Trump, local activists heckled him during his speech over past allegations of racial discrimination at his buildings. And Rev. Timmons was the one who asked them to quiet down and listen to Trump."

Imagine that.  Trump, a liar.  Indeed, a congenital liar.  Who'd 'a 'thunk' it?  Couldn't be, could it?

"Mr. Trump is a guest of my church," she said at the time. "And you will respect him."  Not only did Trump's complaints on Fox News not match the reality of what happened in the church; they ran against the sentiment of inclusion he voiced less than 24 hours earlier in Canton, Ohio. There, he told the crowd that he was "willing to campaign anywhere ... even if some voters openly oppose me in a community, that's fine, that's their prerogative. I will listen and I will represent them if and when we win."

This is Trump's problem.  Number one problem.  Distorts reality.  Lies when convenient.  Sounds like "Pilloried Hillary,"  doesn't he?

9-23-16

The Trump children are apparently as thin-skinned as Daddy Dearest.  Think not?  CBS News reports:

"Donald Trump Jr. on Thursday suggested the media has helped Hillary Clinton by letting her “slide” on “every lie” and said that if Republicans did the same, the media would be “warming up the gas chamber” for them."

Say what? Isn't that precisely what your father might do as dictator, that is nazi fuhrer, in our formerly great country?

“The media has been her number one surrogate in this,” he said in an interview on 1210 WPHT radio in Philadelphia with host Chris Stigall. “Without the media, this wouldn’t even be a contest, but the media has built her up. They’ve let her slide on every in-discrepancy, on every lie, on every DNC game trying to get Bernie Sanders out of this thing. If Republicans were doing that, they’d be warming up the gas chamber right now.”

Aren't you talking out your sorry ass, 'Donny Junior?'  Have to admire your loyal defense of dear old dad, however.  You certainly appear to be doing all you can to prove your loyalty for the national socialist son of a bitch who sired you.  Ivanka is certainly not to be left out here, either.  CNN reports:

"Ivanka Trump cut short an interview with Cosmopolitan published Wednesday after being asked about some of Donald Trump's past comments about childcare and maternity leave.  Trump criticized the interviewer for having "a lot of negativity" in her questions."

Can't have that, can we?  No ferociously pointed questioning of either Trump or Clinton.  To say nothing of family members.  The elite expect to be treated like royalty.  With kid gloves.  Tough, isn't it?

"Trump had hoped to highlight the Republican presidential nominee's new childcare policy, which she helped craft and introduce this week.
But the candidate's daughter bristled when interviewer Prachi Gupta asked, "In 2004, Donald Trump said that pregnancy is an inconvenient thing for a business. It's surprising to see this policy from him today. Can you talk a little about those comments, and perhaps what has changed?"

Finally, an interviewer willing to push a few buttons to get at the truth.  Rattle the cages of the high and mighty.  Can't have that, can we? Trump was certainly not a happy camper.  Doesn't your heart bleed?  The exchange continued until Ivanka ran out of patience, cut the interview short:

"I'm going to jump off -- I have to run. I apologize," Trump said."

Pitiful, isn't it?  Gutless, as well.  These pieces of shit can no longer seem to handle pointed questioning.  Falsely, believe they're entitled to softballs.  Tough shit.  Doesn't your heart bleed?

Trump has finally admitted President Obama is indeed an American citizen.  After years of falsely claiming the opposite.  He once again lied, however.  Falsely claimed Hillary is the origin of the 'birther' 'movement.'    -- Another lie that has repeatedly been rejected by numerous fact checkers.  Now, he has again compromised Clinton's security by suggesting Secret Service agents protecting her be disarmed.

NPR reports:

"Donald Trump hit Hillary Clinton on Second Amendment rights during a Miami rally Friday night, but made a controversial statement while doing so — suggesting her Secret Service detail should stop carrying guns and "see what happens to her."  "Now, you know she's very much against the Second Amendment, she wants to destroy your Second Amendment — guns, guns, guns, right? I think what we should do is, she goes around with armed bodyguards like you have never seen before," the GOP nominee said, deviating from his prepared remarks on the teleprompter. "I think that her bodyguards should drop all weapons, they should disarm, right? I think they should disarm. Immediately, what do you think? Yeah, take their guns away. She doesn't want guns. Take their – let's see what happens to her. Take their guns away, OK? It'll be very dangerous."

Think this son of a bitch has any credibility?  Fit for office?  This, what you nazis on the Right want in the Oval Office?  ... Not that "Pilloried Hillary" remains an acceptable, viable alternative, however.

Insult to injury?  Further proof Trump is as much a congenital liar as "Pilloried Hillary?"  Get this.  PolitiFact Texas reports:

"In acknowledging that President Barack Obama was born in the United States, "period," Donald Trump repeated a false attack Friday that it was Hillary Clinton who was behind the conspiracy theory.

"Hillary Clinton and her campaign of 2008 started the birther controversy," Trump said, "I finished it."

"There is no evidence that Clinton or her 2008 campaign floated the theory, nor is it accurate for Trump to say he finished the controversy.  While some Clinton supporters circulated the allegations in 2008, they had no ties to either the candidate or her staff."

Wouldn't want to confuse anyone on the Right with the truth, would we?

"Our ruling:

"Trump said, "Hillary Clinton and her campaign of 2008 started the birther controversy."

"There is no evidence to support a link to Clinton or her campaign.

"We rate Trump's claim False."

Pence, Trump's running mate, stands by his master's false statement.  Imagine that.  Clearly, Trump remains a liar.  No credibility.  -- So too, Clinton.  The long-suffering public?  F--ked.  Royally.  Yet, clueless idiots on both extremes continue to mindlessly support both.  Imagine that.  Indeed, no end to extreme aggressive stupidity.  Sad, isn't it?

Want to know what's most troubling about politicians?  They won't directly answer questions.  Get this exchange between NPR's Steve Inskeep and Democratic Vice Presidential nominee Tim Kaine.  NPR reports:

Secretary Clinton was asked on CBS, "Why did you pick Tim Kaine?" And one of the things she said was, "I want someone who can tell me when I am wrong."

Mm hm, absolutely.

Have you told her that yet?

You know I'm not going to talk about my communications with her in that way but I'll tell you this Steve.

Can you just give a yes or no? Have you told her she's wrong about anything yet?

Guess what?  He wouldn't.  Gave a long-winded non-answer.  Surprised?

Trump appears to pose an exigent figurative threat to religious freedom.  Sound strange?  Not if one believes in the First Amendment Establishment Clause, that is, freedom from religion.  Sound contradictory?  Not so.  Think carefully about it, readers.  NPR reports:

"Talking about God is pretty standard for American politicians. But a line that has been popping up often in Donald Trump's recent campaign speeches seems to go further."

It does.  Much further.  Perniciously so.  Think not?  Think again.  Get this:

"At a recent gathering of conservative Christians in Washington, D.C., Trump promised that if he is elected president, "we will be one American nation." The Republican nominee quoted the Bible and spelled out his vision for American unity:  "Imagine what our country could accomplish if we started working together as one people, under one God, saluting one flag," Trump said, drawing enthusiastic applause from the crowd at the Values Voter Summit."

Is this the country Americans wish to live in?  That is, a theocracy?  A Christian theocracy?  Where does that leave Judaism?  Unitarians?  Buddhists?  Agnostics?  Atheists?   We're a country of many religions, -- and in some cases, none.  The First Amendment protects all religious belief as well as none.  Trump appears to want to change this. Wants all in our formerly great country to goose step in unison.  F--k the bastard.

Indeed, a frightening prospect.  This is precisely what Hitler and Mussolini tried to do in Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy.  With dire results.  Catastrophic consequences.  NPR continues:

"It's the phrase "one God" that's catching the ear of some groups, who argue it is at odds with the American promise of religious freedom."

Indeed, it is.  This is the mark of a national socialist dictator.  It's precisely how such dictators derive power.

"Trump has used the line several times at large campaign rallies and invitation-only speeches in recent weeks: in Philadelphia, near Des Moines, Iowa, and in Asheville, N.C., among other places.  It's not clear what Trump means by it; his campaign hasn't responded to multiple requests for comment from NPR."

He won't.  Why would he?  Certainly, doesn't want to be pinned down.  Exposed for the national socialist, fascist bastard he truly is.  It needs to be brought up, however, at the upcoming debates.  This piece of shit cannot be allowed to skirt the issue.  Either by moderators or "Pilloried Hillary."

"The line worries Barry Lynn, executive director of the advocacy group Americans United for Separation of Church and State."

With damned good reason.  Dictators have used it in the past to impose and 'justify' great evil.

"What I hear is someone who simply doesn't understand that one of the great strengths of this country is the diversity of nationalities, of origins — the differences of opinions about religion, and ideas about religion," he said."

This is what any and every dictator misses.  On both political extremes.  Right and Left.

"Lynn acknowledges that many politicians use religious language, but he says Trump's statement goes "way beyond" working "God Bless America" into a speech, or talking about one's personal faith.  "This is very different because this makes it seem like he, as the president of the United States, could somehow bring us together by converting us all and making sure we salute the same flag," Lynn said."

Again, this is clearly the mark of national socialism.  The goal.  The concerted perversion of liberty.  It is also exceptionally disconcerting and considered an exigent threat to the existence and efficacy of non-Christian religions in our formerly great country.

9-16-16

The determined insanity in the Presidential race continues unabated.  CNN reports:

"Hillary Clinton unleashed a torrent of attacks against Donald Trump's preparedness to be commander in chief and questioned his patriotism Thursday morning, hours after an NBC forum exposed her opponent to criticism on multiple fronts."

Think her continued dishonesty makes her any more fit for office?

"It is a game to him. Everything is a game. It is like he is living in his own celebrity reality TV program," Clinton said at a campaign rally in Charlotte Thursday afternoon. "You know what Donald, this is real reality, this is real people, these are real decisions that have to be made for our country."

The same isn't true for you, Madam?   He's a buffoon, a caricature.  You're a liar.  Where does that leave the electorate?

"Last night was yet another test and Donald Trump failed yet again. We saw more evidence that he is temperamentally unfit and totally unqualified to be commander in chief. He trash talked American generals," she said."

You voted to invade Iraq under false pretenses, Madam.  What does that make you?  Did so for political gain.  -- While there were at least some of us at the time who strenuously objected, did not buy Bush "The Tush" and "Slick Dick's" bullshit, you did.  How many needlessly died, both sides, for nothing?  Absolutely nothing.  Subsequently, consequently gave rise to ISIS.  As "Hump The Rump", you are no more qualified to be Commander In Chief.  How can a deceptive liar be trusted to do the right thing?  Not put our noses where they don't belong?  Then again, Trump is no better:

"Among Trump's comments was his extensive praise of Russian President Vladimir Putin -- Trump even went as far as to say he was a better leader than Barack Obama.  "He's been a leader, far more than our president has been a leader," Trump said. "If (Putin) says great things about me, I'm going to say great things about him. I've already said he is really very much of a leader."

Think this son of a bitch isn't insane?  Ben?  Tim?  TL?  Still voting for him no matter what?  This the man?  Your man?  The public is f--ked.  Truly f--ked.  No matter who wins, the people lose.

There are contradictions.  Egregious contradictions.  CBS News reports:

TRUMP: “I happen to hear Hillary Clinton say that I was not against the war in Iraq. I was totally against the war in Iraq.”

THE FACTS: That statement is contradicted by an interview Trump did with Howard Stern in September 2002. He said then that he supported the invasion: “Yeah, I guess so.”

Wouldn't want to confuse anyone with the truth.

TRUMP: Asked about the problem of sexual assault within the military? , said, “We have to come down very, very hard on that. ... And the best thing we can do is set up a court system within the military. Right now, the court system practically doesn’t exist.”

THE FACTS: The U.S. military already has an extensive justice system, one with roots in the U.S. Constitution. The individual branches of the military have their own police and investigative and prosecution services, and they enforce a set of laws known as the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

Critics argue the military’s justice system has poorly served victims of sexual assault, but it’s not correct to say, as Trump did, that “nobody gets prosecuted.”

Trump isn't the only one with truth issues.

CLINTON: “Classified material has a header which says, ‘Top Secret,’ ‘Secret,’ ‘Confidential.’ Nothing, and I will, I will repeat this, and this is verified in the reports by the Department of Justice, none of the emails sent or received by me had such a header.”

THE FACTS: While Clinton is correct that none of the emails she sent or received contained headers indicating that information in them had been properly classified, that doesn’t absolve government employees under U.S. law from protecting information they know or should know was classified.

“Even if information is not marked classified in an email, participants who know, or should know, that the subject matter is classified are still obligated to protect it,” FBI Director James Comey said on July 5, when he announced that the FBI was recommending against filing criminal charges after its investigation.

"Comey said at least three emails included “(C)“ markings showing that information within them was considered confidential classified information. Clinton told FBI agents that she did not know what those markings meant, according to notes the FBI released Sept. 2."

Again, these are the two least qualified candidates for President in decades.  Trump certainly took a long, hard, undeserved dump on the military brass.  CBS News reports:

“I think under the leadership of Barack and Hillary Clinton the generals have been reduced to rubble,” he said. If he’s elected, Trump said the country would probably have “different generals.” Those currently serving, he said, “have been reduced to a point where it’s embarrassing for our country.”  But asked to explain in more detail about his plans to defeat ISIS, Trump said he wouldn’t give specifics because he didn’t want “the enemy” to know what he was planning. “If I win I don’t want to broadcast to the enemy exactly what my plan is,” he said."

Trump has no respect for the military.  Considers them a failure.  As far as keeping his plans secret from the enemy, where have we heard this before?  Younger readers are reminded "Tricky Dick" Nixon assured voters in 1968 he had a secret plan to defeat the communists in Vietnam.  Did not.  Lied.  Think Trump's not a traitor?  The Washington Post reports:

"Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump criticized U.S. foreign policy and the American political press corps Thursday during an interview on RT America, a state-owned Russian television network."

This isn't remarkably similar to the Jane Fonda fiasco decades ago?  Doesn't get you Right Wing fascists in the Republican Party hot and bothered?  No problem with Trump's support of Putin?  Still voting for the son of a bitch?  Have no issue with the following also courtesy of The Washington Post?

"Donald Trump on Monday dismissed questions about his failure to disclose an improper $25,000 contribution in 2013 to a political group connected to Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi, who was at the time considering whether to open a fraud investigation against Trump University."

All this is reason why NPR reports:

"You've heard it a bajillion times at this point: Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are the two most unpopular major party presidential candidates on record. Both of them have unfavorability ratings of more than 50 percent.  But here's one more place that unpopularity pops up: the number of people who simply don't choose either candidate. Especially when you compare this election with 2012, a massive number of people are either choosing third-party candidates or simply have not yet decided."

We're screwed.  Think not?  Even the Libertarian candidate has no clue vis a vis Aleppo.

9-16-16

Media egregiously fails to do its job.  Remains enamored with revenue generating headlines rather than unvarnished truth.  Has granted "Pilloried Hillary" a free pass on her dishonesty, prevarication, distortion of reality, failure to be prosecuted by 'Justice' Department buffoons for the email server fiasco.

Conversely, "Hump The Rump" enjoys media indifference to egregious reportedly fraudulent business practices.  Including, at least four highly questionable bankruptcies, contractors fleeced, to say nothing of all those looted vis a vis the now defunct Trump University fiasco.  Instead?  Media concentrates on the health of both candidates.  Who cares?  Forget?

Wilson, Roosevelt, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, and many other Presidents did their job despite serious health issues.  What is of far greater significance, far, far, greater significance are serious character flaws afflicting both candidates.  Making each egregiously, achingly unfit for office.  Yet, are summarily ignored.  Amazing, isn't it?

9-16-16

The Washington Times reports:

"The chairman of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights said that “religious freedom” and “religious liberty” have become merely “code words” for intolerance, “Christian supremacy” and committing every form of identity-politics sin, and thus they must yield before anti-discrimination laws."

You think?

9-16-16

Trouble in paradise.  Amazing how the hypocrites at Fox operate.  Fox is embraced by the supposedly 'Christian' Nazi Right.  Despite the fact NPR reports:

"Two months after former Fox & Friends co-host Gretchen Carlson accused Fox News' then-Chairman Roger Ailes of sexual harassment, the network has agreed to pay Carlson $20 million and make a "highly unusual public apology," NPR's David Folkenflik reports."

Interesting, isn't it?  Insult to injury?  The Washington Times reports:

"Former Fox News host Greta Van Susteren said she regrets not believing her ex-colleague Gretchen Carlson’s sexual harassment claims against Roger Ailes, and she criticized 21st Century Fox and its board of directors for not fulfilling their duties to supervise the former network CEO.  “It is indeed true, when I read the complaint written by lawyers — I never spoke to Gretchen as she was long gone from Fox,” Ms. Van Susteren, who abruptly left the network earlier this week, wrote in a Facebook post Friday morning. “I found it inconsistent with what was my experience and information at the Fox News Channel, admittedly working 200 miles from the ‘scene of the crimes.’ It was hidden from all of us.”

Sad, isn't?

9-9-16

Trump's speech on immigration proves this man is not rational.  Consider his ten immigration policy principles:

1) "Number one, are you ready? Are you ready?  We will build a great wall along the southern border.   And Mexico will pay for the wall.  One hundred percent. They don't know it yet, but they're going to pay for it. And they're great people and great leaders but they're going to pay for the wall. On day one, we will begin working on intangible, physical, tall, power, beautiful southern border wall."

Mexico has already repeatedly said they will not pay for the wall.  What does this sick fascist plan to do?  Invade Mexico and raid their treasury?

2) "Number two, we are going to end catch and release. We catch them, oh go ahead. We catch them, go ahead.  Under my administration, anyone who illegally crosses the border will be detained until they are removed out of our country and back to the country from which they came.  And they'll be brought great distances. We're not dropping them right across. They learned that. President Eisenhower. They'd drop them across, right across, and they'd come back. And across."

Consider this man rational?  Sane?  Readers are reminded Eisenhower indeed deported both American citizens of Mexican descent and Mexican nationals back in the 50s during a program called "Operation Wetback."  Indeed, the origin of the racial slur.  Another indication Republican national socialists were already emulating Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini back in the 50s.

3) "Number three. Number three, this is the one, I think it's so great. It's hard to believe, people don't even talk about it. Zero tolerance for criminal aliens. Zero. Zero.  Zero. They don't come in here. They don't come in here."

Is that right?  Think any wall can't be gone over, under, or through?  Again, consider this fascist bastard rational?  This nazi seems to have conveniently forgotten President Obama has already deported a record number of 'illegals' during his regime.

4) "Number four, block funding for sanctuary cities. We block the funding. No more funds.  We will end the sanctuary cities that have resulted in so many needless deaths. Cities that refuse to cooperate with federal authorities will not receive taxpayer dollars, and we will work with Congress to pass legislation to protect those jurisdictions that do assist federal authorities."

What "many needless deaths?"  Where?  Trump is a goddamned liar.  Statistics don't back his false claims.  Regardless, think blocking of federal funding won't be challenged in federal court?  Highly unlikely, state government can and will be forced to enforce federal immigration law.  Why?  It's a states rights issue Republican national socialists themselves have so stridently fought the last few years.  The hypocrisy?  Stunning.

5) "Number five, cancel unconstitutional executive orders and enforce all immigration laws."

If elected President, Trump can indeed cancel any previous Executive Order he so chooses.  Obama, however, is already enforcing all immigration laws.  Has a record number of deportations under his belt.  To the chagrin of Democrats.

6) "Number six, we are going to suspend the issuance of visas to any place where adequate screening cannot occur."

Again, Trump is egregiously uninformed.  That screening is already in place.  Some of the most stringent to date.  Still does not guaranty a terrorist could not be imported into our formerly great country, however.  Trump is ferociously reminded the State Department egregiously failed to do adequate background checks on the 9/11 hijackers during the George "The Tush" Bush and "Slick Dick" Cheney Regime years ago.

Instead, the President at the time used it as a convenient excuse to consolidate power, establish a goddamned fascist police-state.  With the help of GOP and Democratic fascists in Congress vis a vis The USA 'Patriot' Act, Homeland 'Security' Act, 'Real' ID Act, and other equally egregiously unconstitutional legislation rubber stamped by the Republican national socialists ensconced on the United States Supreme Court.  -- Fascists, who legislate their perverse ideological and religious views from the bench.

7) "Number seven, we will insure that other countries take their people back when they order them deported."

Again, this man is clearly irrational.  How will he do it?  Air drop them with or without a parachute over their countries of origin?

8) "Number eight, we will finally complete the biometric entry-exit visa tracking system which we need desperately."

Again, is this man rational?  What will he do?  Insert chips into their bodies so they can be tracked?  Force all visitors to wear tracking collars?  Think even if all this were done, all it would do is encourage more people to cross the borders illegally in remote areas?  No wall is impenetrable.  This nazi doesn't seem to understand this.  Even if it were, is this clueless fascist son of a bitch then willing to force Canada to finance a wall on the northern border?  Think illegal immigration wouldn't consequently increase there?  Where does Trump's insanity end?

9) "Number nine, we will turn off the jobs and benefits magnet.  We will ensure that E-Verify is used to the fullest extent possible under existing law, and we will work with Congress to strengthen and expand its use across the country."

Again, Trump is delusional.  E-Verify is already used across the country.  It will not stop illegal aliens from working under the table for cash.  Readers are reminded Trump, himself, has reportedly used illegals extensively in his business empire.  The hypocrisy?  Reeks.

10) "Number 10, we will reform legal immigration to serve the best interests of America and its workers, the forgotten people. Workers. We're going to take care of our workers."

Again, this is more unadulterated bullshit.  Trump doesn't seem to understand most illegals don't work in construction businesses like his.  They take jobs Americans no longer want.  Refuse to work.  Because the jobs don't pay and the work is grueling.  Speaking specifically about migrants here.  Greedy farmers won't pay a livable wage to do the grueling work done by migrants.

9-9-16

Trump needs to be far more careful about whom he hires.  CNN reports:

"A top Donald Trump surrogate admitted to falsifying some of his professional accomplishments after a contentious confrontation with CNN anchor Victor Blackwell.  South Carolina preacher Mark Burns, who regularly introduces Trump at his campaign events, had listed on his church's website that he had a Bachelor of Science degree and served six years in the Army Reserve.  Burns, however, was never in the Army Reserve. He was in the South Carolina National Guard, from which he was discharged in 2008, CNN found.  As far as a Bachelor's degree, North Greenville University told CNN he only attended the school for one semester. Burns admitted that he did not finish his degree when CNN asked him about it."

This goes to credibility.  Certainly, indicative of the fact  Trump either does not care who he surrounds himself with, -- or, more importantly, who represents him.

9-9-16

More of the same in NBC's Commander In Chief Forum.  Both candidates did not confront each other.  Were heard back to back.  More of "Pilloried Hillary's" bullshit.  More of the same from "Hump The Rump" Trump.  What is eerily reminiscent of another late GOP deceptive national socialist is Trump's repeated claim he has a secret plan to defeat ISIS.

Sound familiar to older readers?  Indeed, you've heard it before.  When President Richard "Tricky Dick" Nixon ran for President back in 1968, he claimed he had a secret plan to end the war in Vietnam.  The son of a bitch lied.  So is Trump.  Worse?  Trump has flip flopped so many times on so many issues it is impossible to understand where he stands on any of them.

Readers are reminded the war in Vietnam went on for another five years after Nixon took office.  ... About as long as it had under Johnson.  Many, if not most, of the casualties, occurred under the Nixon regime.  No matter what, Nixon had no plan.  We lost the war.  Retreated in defeat.  Did so in a shameful fashion.

Saddest of all to see?  Was chopper personnel using rifle butts on the hands of desperate Vietnamese hanging on for dear life trying to escape the communists.  Even more tragic than all this is the fact we never seem to learn.  Never smarten up.  Make the same mistake over and over and over again.  Definition of insanity?  Repeating the same behavior and expecting a different result.

9-9-16

The email server fiasco still continues to haunt Madam Clinton.  CNN reports:

"Hillary Clinton repeatedly told the FBI she couldn't recall key details and events related to classified information procedures, according to notes the bureau released Friday of its July interview with the Democratic presidential nominee, along with a report on its investigation into her private email server."

We're still not getting the unvarnished truth.  Most disturbing.

"Comey testified that no transcript of the interview exists, only the notes taken on it. Clinton was not under oath."

Why not?  Why no transcript?  More importantly, why wasn't she placed under oath?

Why does Trump feel the need to be scripted before addressing a black church group?  CBS news reports:

"Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, who lags far behind Hillary Clinton in African American support, will have some scripted answers to rely on for an interview he’s taping with a black pastor Saturday in his first public appearance before a majority black audience in Detroit."

Trump does shoot from the hip.  Think that'll fly before any audience?  Especially, the debates?

"Hump The Rump", however, might take a lesson from Mr. Biden as to how to deal with hecklers. The Washington Post reports:

"In a season of political protesters disrupting rallies, perhaps none have gotten as heavy as one involving Vice President Biden on Thursday night.  At a rally for Hillary Clinton in Cleveland, a protester interrupted Biden.  "My friends died," he said. "I have a friend [unintelligible] died. We fought ..."  The protester was then drowned out by chants of "Hillary, Hillary, Hillary." But Biden decided to engage the man.  "Hey, I tell you what," Biden said. "By the way, if you're serious ..."  "I am," the protester responded. "My friend died."  "Will you listen?" Biden responded. "So did my son, okay?"  Biden then invited the man to come backstage and talk to him about it personally, and the protester agreed."

For all of Biden's faults, he does possess some degree of finesse, however.  To say nothing of compassion.  The same can't be said of Trump.

Once again, the deceit never seems to end.  CNN reports:

"Russian President Vladimir Putin denied having any involvement in the hack of the Democratic National Committee in early August, in an interview published Friday, but said it's "important" the contents of the DNC emails were made public.  A US official saying earlier this summer there was "little doubt" Russia was behind the attack.  "I don't know anything about it, and on a state level Russia has never done this," Putin told Bloomberg News. Still, Putin asked if it matters "who hacked this data," and argued that "the important thing is the content that was given to the public."

First of all, it's not for Putin to determine what should or should not be released to the American public.  Second, he's a liar.  Third, when will the United States Government retaliate?  If it already has, why hasn't the public been informed?

No end to the fodder, distortion of reality, and re-write of history provided by Sen. Ted "Screws Loose" Cruz and his Newsletters:

"Americans possess a unique industrialism and thirst for opportunity that has been the backbone of our free enterprise system.

"Unfortunately, President Obama continues to stifle the American workforce with onerous regulations and increasingly burdensome taxes, resulting in the lowest labor force participation rate in nearly 40 years.

"Our nation has long been the land of opportunity, but the Obama administration has spent nearly eight years preventing businesses and individuals from reaching their full potential. I will continue to do everything in my power to scale back government intervention in our economy and let American workers do what they do best: innovate, grow, and prosper.

"Keep Texas Strong,

"TC Sig
"Ted Cruz"

What planet does the Senator live on?  Certainly, doesn't seem to be the same one the rest of us inhabit.  Any "thirst for opportunity" died a long, long time ago as the top 1%, that is, the corporate management suite and the rich have taken it all.  Zero-sum game.  Winner-take-all, highly-discredited, laissez-faire, Ayn Rand Atlas Shrugged failed philosophy that even Rand herself reportedly disputed prior to her death.

What "free enterprise system?"  Where?  Doesn't exist.  Never really did.  The system is owned, operated, manipulated by the people who now have nearly all the wealth.  That's how this system works.  Always has.  He who has the wealth makes the rules.  Controls the masses through what amounts to indentured servitude.  Intentionally pay them only enough to barely survive, not prosper.  It's how you keep the 'filthy,' 'unwashed masses' under control.  Subservient.  Beholden.

The problem is the bastards miscalculated.  Took it way too far.  Strangled the Golden Goose.  Now, we have growing unrest.  All across our formerly great country.  Precisely, why an unwanted dreaded second American revolution catastrophically looms on the horizon.  Exactly, why we have two candidates grossly unqualified to become President.  Why the nation continues to reel at two political extremes.  Neither of which can succeed.

The air is being let out of the balloon.  Both extremes cannot seem to understand the nature of what's currently happening.  Yet, many, if not most, in the country indeed espouse Center views.  That is, remain conservative on fiscal issues, liberal on social ones.  Precisely, why both major political parties no longer serve the best interests of the people.  Only themselves.

Yes, many regulations are achingly ineffective.  In fact, worse?  Counter productive and stupid.  But what this national socialist Senator is truly calling for is no regulation at all.  That won't fly.  Is not in the best interests of the public.  What would "Screws Loose" Cruz have us do?  Return to the days of leaded gasoline and paint?  When we still have a lead problem that affects our kids to this very day?

How about all the fracking going on that threatens our ground water supply?  As well as seems to be causing earthquakes?  The latest of which could be felt from Texas through Oklahoma and further to the northeast?  No problem, Ted?  Don't give a shit, you fascist son of a bitch?  What "burdensome taxes," Ted?  Certainly, not on the top 1% of the food chain.  Or, on the corporate management suite and/or the rich.

They've never paid their fair share.  Never.  Always moved money overseas to evade taxes.  While the middle class took it hard in the ass without the Vaseline.  Now, the middle class is a vanishing breed due to bottomless corporate greed.  A zero-sum, winner-take-all philosophy that continues to be killing this country.

... And yet, Senator, you're still cluelessly defending these pieces of avaricious shit who handsomely line your pockets and the other human excrement ensconced in the House and Senate?  You have no shame, Ted.  You and your cronies in Congress, both parties, are the problem.  Every one of you needs to go.

Have no concept of morality at all.  That is, sir, you remain hopelessly amoral.  Without morals.  Live in a dream world.  Remain mesmerized by a discredited laissez-faire Ayn Rand Atlas Shrugged mentality that even its author reportedly disavowed before her death.  Why? It doesn't work.  Is not sustainable.

Precisely, why we see circumstances seriously deteriorating across the country.  Too blind to see this, Ted?  Or, too damned aggressively stupid?  Exactly, why there has been no real, widespread recovery for the masses in our formerly great country.  Only the top of the food chain.  You, Senator, have no clue why we're truly suffering "the lowest labor force participation rate in nearly 40 years."

Has absolutely nothing to do with the 'reasons' you falsely suggest.  Is directly due to profound bottomless corporate greed at a time of record corporate cash reserves and profits.  Winner-take-all.  Yet, Ted, you remain hopelessly out to lunch.  Clueless.  ... While the corporate bastards who are lining your pockets and those of your colleagues in Congress are f--king not only the public, but their corporate human chattel, that is, their long suffering employees.  Whose asses they literally own. Just like yours, Senator.

While the Obama Regime hasn't been worth a shit, it is not responsible for the failure in the economy and decimation of the middle class.  Your goddamned corporate masters are, Senator.  Including the ones your wife worked for on Wall Street.   Yet, you remain too goddamned aggressively stupid, hopelessly shortsighted to understand this.  Pitifully, Aryan arrogantly remain out to lunch.  Achingly, clueless.

Ann Coulter is indeed a despicable human being.  A woman who seems to have no regard for anyone other than those who think like her.  Still, she deserves to be treated like a human being no matter how despicable.  For someone to urge her to commit suicide is well beyond the pale.  Inexcusable.  Fox reports:

"Ann Coulter was encouraged to commit suicide during Saturday’s taping of “The Comedy Central Roast of Rob Lowe.”  “Ann is one of the most repugnant, hateful, hatchet-face b----es alive,” British comedian Jimmy Carr declared, as audience members cheered. “It’s not too late to change, Ann. You could kill yourself!”

What if she did just that?  How would Carr react?  Should the sentence for being an asshole (Coulter) be death?  Criticism is one thing.  Advising someone to commit suicide is another.   ... Whether or not in jest.

Amazing how Mrs. Clinton apparently used her position at State to benefit the Clinton Foundation.  ABC reports:

"Government email traffic and internal call logs made public by conservative groups this week offer more evidence that donors to the Clinton Foundation sought and at times received special favors and access to the State Department.  “[Hillary] Clinton and her staff treated the State Department as an arm of the Clinton Foundation,” said Tom Fitton, the president of Judicial Watch, which released 725 pages of State Department emails between top Clinton aides as part of a lawsuit the group filed seeking government records. “Some of these emails should have been turned over to us years ago.”

While Judicial Watch leans Right, it does have a point.  Mrs. Clinton and her shills continue to defend the indefensible.  Stonewall.  Have not come clean.  Seem to believe Hillary and the former President should be held to a lower standard than the rest of us.  Be interesting to see if any of this has traction.  The saddest part of all this is the fact media waited until recently to even attempt to fully vet not only "Pilloried Hillary" but "Hump The Rump" Trump as well.  They still have a long, long way to go some two months until the election.

Where we strand today in terms of vetting both candidates, could have indeed been reality a year ago.  As egregious as the free ride Mrs. Clinton seems to have received the last year or so, is nothing compared to the deference Trump has received to date.  Newsrooms had to have been afraid of being sued by the bastard.  His highly questionable business dealings over the years have all but been ignored by the media.

Instead, they seem to enjoy publicizing Trump's egregiously stupid, bigoted, misogynist statements.  Makes for juicy sound bites that have no substance.  Lessen chances of being sued by the national socialist who seems to delight in intimidating anyone who questions him, his motives, and actions.

Amusingly, Fox is criticizing The New York Times for not promptly publishing the latest Clinton Foundation fiasco.  They do have a point.  The same criticism can also be directed at Fox for not publishing an expose of Trump's highly questionable business practices over the years.  No question, there is more than enough criticism to go around.  The sad part is nothing ever changes.  Ever.

Not to be outdone, The Washington Times has added its two cents:

"Hillary Clinton’s campaign says a report showing many of the private individuals who met or had phone conversations scheduled with Mrs. Clinton while she was secretary of state also donated to the Clinton Foundation is a “massive” misrepresentation.  “This is a woman who met with over 17,000 world leaders, countless other government officials, public officials in the United States, and they’ve looked at 185 meetings and tried to draw a conclusion from that,” Clinton campaign chief strategist Joel Benenson said Wednesday on CNN’s “New Day.”  “I think it’s one of the most massive misrepresentations you [could] see from the data,” Mr. Benenson said. “And then they’re trying to malign and implicate that there was something nefarious going on when in fact, there wasn’t.”

The Washington Times does have a point, however.  Clinton and her shills appear to be stonewalling.  Bullshitting.  Making light of an increasingly troubling approach to Foundation business.  It's impossible to know the truth at this point.  The appearance alone of impropriety is glaring.  Like Trump, the Clintons indeed appear to falsely believe they should be held to a different standard than the unwashed masses.

9-2-16

The presidential campaign is indeed turning into a circus.  Would you believe the Army is using "Pilloried Hillary" and her handling of classified material as a training example of what not to do?  The Washington Times reports:

"The Army has confirmed that one of its units highlighted former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as an example of an “insider” threat to operational security.  A Facebook page called “U.S. Army W.T.F! moments” recently displayed images from a Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, training slide that is at least 18 months old. The image lists Mrs. Clinton as a prime example of an OPSEC threat, along with CIA leaker Edward Snowden, former CIA head and Army Gen. David Petraeus and others.  Maj. Thomas Campbell, spokesman for the Army’s Training and Doctrine Command, confirmed the details of the presentation to The Daily Caller late Monday."

Amazing, isn't it?  While the Army indeed has a point vis a vis Gen. David Petraeus, they are way off base regarding CIA leaker Edward Snowden.  Snowden remains a hero.  Courageously exposed in great detail the highly unconstitutional, corrupt, abusive actions perpetrated by the incorrigible national socialist assholes who now run and own our formerly great country.

These pieces of national socialist excrement, both major political parties included, have raucously shit on the United States Constitution to consolidate Executive Power, impose a goddamned fascist police-state.  Obliterate nearly all civil and constitutional rights and liberties, falsely in the name of "national 'security.'"  Institute what amounts to a dictatorship.

9-2-16

Amazing how Trump throws around accusations regarding Clinton's supposed bigotry when he appears to be the pot calling the kettle black.  CBS News reports:

"To a local New Hampshire radio station, Trump explained why he believed his opponent espoused bigotry.  “She’s done a terrible job for tremendous numbers of people in this country, and you look at the inner cities, you look at what’s happening, it’s all talk and she’ll work and she’ll talk and – she’ll - that’s all it is. And in the meantime, the inner cities are dying and African Americans and the Hispanics are really taking the brunt of it,” Trump told WMUR in an interview Thursday. “And she knows she’s not going to do anything about it. She talks about fixing the inner cities, she’s been talking about it for 30 years. She hasn’t done anything. And that to me is bigotry.”"

Say what?  That's an egregiously outrageous non-sequitor.  Just doesn't follow.  Empty rhetoric.  Not that Clinton doesn't deserve criticism for her failure to call for holding law enforcement legally and fully accountable for their crimes, however.  She hasn't.  She's too goddamned gutless and self serving to do so.  Clinton indirectly answered Trump's phony accusation.  ABC News reports:

"After being called a "bigot" by her White House rival earlier in the week, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton refused to directly return the insult when prompted in an interview today, instead reiterating her charge that Republican nominee Donald Trump is a man with a "long history of racial discrimination" and all she can do is "point to the evidence of what he has said and what he has done."

It's a bum rap from a national socialist GOP candidate for President who is dropping in the polls due to his bigotry, misogyny, insane rhetoric.

"It is deeply disturbing that he is taking hate groups that lived in the dark regions of the internet making them mainstream, helping a radical fringe take over the Republican Party," Clinton continued. "What I want to make clear is this, a man with a long history of racial discrimination, who traffics in dark conspiracy theories drawn from the pages of supermarket tabloids, and these kind of white supremacist, white nationalist, anti-Semitic groups, should never run our government or command our military."

Indeed, Mrs. Clinton is right on this particular point.  The fact she cannot seem to tell the truth herself, moves the goal posts when confronted with reality, and stonewalls when that doesn't happen to work is indeed equally troubling.  Disqualifies her for office.

Trump has an incredible ability to flip flop.  Does so with increasing regularity as his poll numbers drop.  NPR reports:

"After signaling that his position on immigration is "to be determined" and that it could "soften," Donald Trump did an amazing thing — what amounts to almost a full about-face on the principal issue that has driven his campaign."

Sadly, both candidates cannot seem to embrace transparency, any semblance of stability in their views.

"Trump indicated in a town hall with Fox News' Sean Hannity, which aired Wednesday night, that he would be in favor of a path to legalization for immigrants in the U.S. illegally."

Say what?  Talk about a flip flop, no?  How do you know where he stands?  On anything.  -- When he continues to flip flop as his polling worsens.

"Trump indicated in a town hall with Fox News' Sean Hannity, which aired Wednesday night, that he would be in favor of a path to legalization for immigrants in the U.S. illegally."

How can the electorate know where he stands on any given issue when he continues to radically change his positions on every issue?  Worse?  Get this:

"Now, everybody agrees we get the bad ones out. But when I go through and I meet thousands and thousands of people on this subject, and I've had very strong people come up to me, really great, great people come up to me, and they've said, 'Mr. Trump, I love you, but to take a person who's been here for 15 or 20 years and throw them and their family out, it's so tough, Mr. Trump,' I have it all the time! It's a very, very hard thing."

Trump's narcissism always seems to come out.  Sad, isn't it?  About as irritating as hearing Mrs. Clinton not-so-cleverly dance around her continuing issues with transparency and, more importantly, dishonesty.  Both have serious character flaws.  Mrs. Clinton can't seem to tell the truth.  Trump has no compassion.  Remember the Ebola crisis?  Get this.  The Washington Post reports:

"Two years ago this month, the Ebola crisis in West Africa burst into American consciousness when a pair of U.S. health workers became critically ill battling the epidemic and health officials raced to bring them home for treatment.  The pair, physician Kent Brantly and nurse Nancy Writebol, almost surely would have died if they hadn’t been airlifted from Monrovia, Liberia, to a special facility in Atlanta, where they eventually regained their health. Or if U.S. officials had listened to one of the loudest voices of opposition to that move: Donald Trump."

Indeed, will never forget it:

Ebola patient will be brought to the U.S. in a few days - now I know for sure that our leaders are incompetent. KEEP THEM OUT OF HERE!

    — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 1, 2014

Stop the EBOLA patients from entering the U.S. Treat them, at the highest level, over there. THE UNITED STATES HAS ENOUGH PROBLEMS!

    — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 1, 2014

The U.S. cannot allow EBOLA infected people back. People that go to far away places to help out are great-but must suffer the consequences!

    — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 2, 2014

Ebola is much easier to transmit than the CDC and government representatives are admitting. Spreading all over Africa-and fast. Stop flights

    — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 2, 2014

I am starting to think that there is something seriously wrong with President Obama's mental health. Why won't he stop the flights. Psycho!

    — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 16, 2014

Ebola has been confirmed in N.Y.C., with officials frantically trying to find all of the people and things he had contact with.Obama's fault

    — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 24, 2014

I have been saying for weeks for President Obama to stop the flights from West Africa. So simple, but he refused. A TOTAL incompetent!

    — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 24, 2014

Appalling, isn't it?  Gutless, as well.  Forget?  United States medical personnel went overseas to treat the sick and dying.  They get sick themselves and this piece of shit will deny these heroes treatment here in the United States?  Pitiful.  Appalling.  Goddamned gutless.  This what you want in the Oval Office?  Then again, look at the alternative.  "Pilloried Hillary."

She does, however, have a point vis a vis Trump's move to the hard Nazi Right, that is, the white supremacist fringe.  NPR reports:

"The presidential candidates this week accused one another of racism and bigotry, with Hillary Clinton arguing that Donald Trump's rhetoric and policies are an invitation to the "alt-right" movement."

This is increasingly disturbing.

"This is not Conservatism as we have known it," the Democratic nominee said on Thursday during a speech in Reno, Nev. "This is not Republicanism as we have known it. These are racist ideas. These are race-baiting ideas. Anti-Muslim, anti-Immigrant, anti-women ideas –– all key tenets making up an emerging racist ideology known as the 'Alt-Right.'"

She has a point.

"The views of the alt-right are widely seen as anti-Semitic and white supremacist."

Surprising for Trump? How?

"Most of its members are young white men who see themselves first and foremost as champions of their own demographic. However, apart from their allegiance to their "tribe," as they call it, their greatest points of unity lie in what they are against: multiculturalism, immigration, feminism and, above all, political correctness."

Not only young white men, however.  We have more than a few of them in Llano County who are elderly and exhibit the very same misogynist, racist, bigoted views.  Are prone to cowardly blame their problems on "political correctness" when it's their own perverse, distorted, convoluted embrace of fascism that is their real problem.

"They see political correctness really as the greatest threat to their liberty," Nicole Hemmer, University of Virginia professor and author of a forthcoming book Messengers of the Right, explained on Morning Edition.  "So, they believe saying racist or anti-Semitic things—it's is not an act of hate, but an act of freedom," she said."

It's called cowardice.  Aggressive stupidity.  That is, the steadfast determination to remain stupid no matter what.  These pieces of shit are achingly clueless.  Sad, sick souls.

"Last week, the GOP presidential nominee announced that Stephen Bannon, chairman of Breitbart News Network, which Bannon has called "the platform for the alt-right," would be his campaign's new chief executive."

Certainly, exposes Trump for whom and what he truly is.  NPR reports:

In a speech Thursday in Reno, Nev., Hillary Clinton argued that Donald Trump is "helping a radical fringe" — the alt-right — take over the Republican Party.  "From the start, Donald Trump has built his campaign on prejudice and paranoia. He's taking hate groups mainstream and helping a radical fringe take over one of America's two major political parties," she said. "His disregard for the values that make our country great is profoundly dangerous."

It is dangerous.  Trump wants to take the country from what is currently a fascist police-state a step further.  To what we fought in Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy some seven decades ago.  CBS News reports:

"An ex-wife of Donald Trump’s new campaign CEO, Stephen Bannon, said Bannon made anti-Semitic remarks when the two battled over sending their daughters to private school nearly a decade ago, according to court papers reviewed Friday by The Associated Press."  In a sworn court declaration following their divorce, Piccard said her ex-husband had objected to sending their twin daughters to an elite Los Angeles academy because he “didn’t want the girls going to school with Jews.”  “He said he doesn’t like Jews and that he doesn’t like the way they raise their kids to be ‘whiney brats,’” Piccard said in a 2007 court filing."

Think Trump's judgment and intentions are not in question?  As well as those he chooses to associate himself with?  Not that Hillary is any better, however.  Either way, the public is f--ked.  Royally.

9-2-16

Bigotry is indeed alive and well.  CBS News reports:

"An 18-year-old waitress working the lunch shift at a Virginia restaurant was left with a racist message instead of a cash tip recently, and her grandfather started a social media firestorm that shamed the customers, according to reports.  Sadie Elledge was working at Jess’ Lunch in downtown Harrisonburg when she got a receipt that said “We only tip citizens” where a tip amount should have been written, reports CBS affiliate WUSA-TV.  The girl’s grandfather, John Elledge, took a photo and posted it to Facebook along with some choice words calling the couple “a total piece of dung.”  Sadie was born in the United States, thus making her an American citizen since birth."

No end to the insanity.  Think it won't get worse?

9-2-16

Think it right not to stand during the National Anthem?  CBS News reports:

"San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick is refusing to stand for the national anthem before games because he believes the United States oppresses African Americans and other minorities."

This government at all levels oppresses its citizens.  No question about that.  Does it justify, however, not standing during The Star Spangled Banner?

“I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color,” Kaepernick said. “To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.”

Law enforcement is indeed murdering innocent people in this country.  Of all races and ethnicities.  Worse?  Consistently, getting away with it.  Police, indeed, enjoy near carte blanche to abuse, shake down, and murder on the job.  With virtual impunity.  We see example after example of this across our formerly great country.

Again, does this justify not standing during the National Anthem?  You decide.  This writer always stands for one reason and one reason only.  In respect for all those who fought and died for our formerly great country.  They must not be forgotten.  There was a time decades ago when wars were fought for legitimate reasons, that is, the survival of this nation.  Not to line the bottomless coffers of the corporate management suite.  Sadly, tragically, that is no longer the case.  I mourn  the loss of what our formerly great country used to be.  Used to stand for.  Sadly, no longer.

Here is one specific example why I stand during the National Anthem.  Fox reports:

"Tech. Sgt. John Chapman is being considered for the Medal of Honor. (U.S. Air Force)  A new review of surveillance video of a 2002 firefight between a US special ops team and Al Qaeda fighters in the mountains of Afghanistan that left seven Americans dead is now the focus of controversy—with the Air Force secretary pushing the Medal of Honor for one of their own killed during the battle.  The controversy involves airman John Chapman, the radioman for a SEAL Team 6 reconnaissance unit involved in the firefight.  The New York Times reported Saturday that the Air Force’s analysis of video taken by a drone during the action shows that after being left for dead Chapman fought alone bravely against Al Qaeda insurgents.  The Air Force concluded Chapman killed two fighters with the terror group—one in hand-to-hand combat—after the SEAL unit had retreated down the mountain in the face of withering enemy gunfire, the paper reported."

These men and women must not be forgotten.

Senator Ted "Screws Loose" Cruz has either lost his mind, -- or simply does not live in the same world as the rest of us.  Part of his most recent newsletter read:

"Texas is a bastion of job creation, individual liberty and a strong national defense because of the 27 million Texans that promote those values day after day and hold their elected officials accountable to doing the same. I remain especially grateful for the opportunity to represent and hear from every patriot who proudly calls Texas home.

"Keep Texas Strong,

"TC Sig
"Ted Cruz"

Sadly, the Senator is a liar.  What "bastion of job creation?"  -- You mean all those service level, minimum wage or dollar or two an hour above that with no benefits, Senator?  Is that what you're talking about, sir?  What "individual liberty", Senator?  -- Are you talking about women being dictated to by Republican nazis as to what they can and cannot do with their uterus, Ted?

Are you talking about doctors being forced to in effect sexually assault women wanting an abortion by requiring by statute they conduct a medically unnecessary highly invasive trans vaginal sonogram?  By a goddamned nazi governor and a Texas Legislature who insist on practicing medicine without a license?  Is that what you're talking about, Senator?

"Hold their elected officials accountable?"  How, Senator? Where, Senator?  You're delusional, Ted.  You pieces of shit do as you please.  Yet, get returned to office.  Deny people the right to vote through unnecessary voter ID laws because you nazis fear they won't vote Republican.  Impose these unnecessary laws, despite the fact voter fraud is a myth.  You're out of uniform, Senator.  Where is your swastika armband, you fascist son of a bitch?

9-2-16

The United States still refuses to take responsibility for war crimes committed at Gitmo and elsewhere by U.S. Government personnel.  Will not prosecute the bastards responsible for waterboarding prisoners as well as other incidents of egregious abuse during interrogation, to say nothing of other outrageous humanitarian issues that have arisen since 9/11 including forced feedings.

8-26-16

The Republican Party certainly has its panties in a wad over the Trump fiasco.  NPR reports:

"The bottom is starting to fall out a little earlier than expected," says a top Senate GOP campaign aide who requested anonymity to speak candidly about the state of the race. "We started off with a very difficult map. No matter what, this was going to be a very difficult year."

Sounds like an understatement, doesn't it?

"The aide says Trump's ailing campaign is an additional drag on the Senate battlefield. The end result, the aide concedes, is a likely Democratic takeover this November."

You think?  Coup de grace?

"That candor is widely — if still privately — shared by increasing numbers of Senate GOP campaign operatives who believe that Trump is destined to lose the presidential race and that the Republican Party's short-lived, two-year majority will go with it."

That's precisely why there was yet another massive shake up in the Trump Campaign days ago.  A change in management.  More surprising?  A little unexpected humility from the GOP national socialist who now realizes unless things change, he'll likely lose big.  So will other Republicans in the House, and particularly, the Senate.  NBC reports:

"Sometimes, in the heat of debate and speaking on a multitude of issues, you don't choose the right words or you say the wrong thing," Trump said. "I have done that. And believe it or not, I regret it. And I do regret it, particularly where it may have caused personal pain. Too much is at stake for us to be consumed with these issues."

Say what?  A little humility?  Admission of wrongdoing?  Couldn't be, could it?  Believe what the nazi is saying?  Think he now has credibility?  Or, is it a result of his new handlers reading him the riot act?

"Still, Trump promised the same honesty that his supporters say they love about him. "I will always tell you the truth," Trump said."

Again, say what?  This national socialist piece of crap wouldn't know truth if it figuratively bit him hard on the ass.  That's indeed the problem, -- he talks out both sides the ass.

"In a moment apparent self-reflection Trump said "sometimes I can be too honest" — which, he is not — but then called Clinton "the exact opposite: she never tells the truth."  He did not, however, ever use the words "apologize" or "sorry."

Why would he?  How could anything more be expected from a narcissist?  What we have here is indeed two liars running for President.  One a psychotic national socialist, fascist.  The other a congenital liar.  Aren't we 'lucky?'  'Blessed?'

Think the purported change in Trump permanent?  CNN reports:

"I am who I am. It's me. I don't want to change. Everyone talks about, 'Oh are you going to pivot?' I don't want to pivot. You have to be you. If you start pivoting you are not being honest with people," Trump told local Wisconsin station WKDT this week."

A change?  Truly believe it?  Fox reports:

"The non-specific mea culpa caught many by surprise, and came on the heels of the Trump campaign earlier this week naming bare-knuckles brawler and Breitbart boss Steven Bannon its chief executive. Trump backers have been begging him to tone down his blustery rhetoric ever since he won the GOP nomination and entered the general race against Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton."

Think this national socialist, fascist turned over a new leaf?  Believe it possible?

Karma's a bitch.  Think not?  Think again.  Think you've seen it all?  You haven't.  NBC News reports:

"It's Donald Trump like he's never been seen before."

It sure is.  Certainly, not very flattering to say the least:

"Life-size naked statues of the Republican presidential nominee greeted passers-by in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle and Cleveland on Thursday. They are the brainchild of an activist collective called INDECLINE, which has spoken out against Trump before."

Bet he'll sue?  Certainly, has the money.

In a statement, the collective said the hope is that Trump "is never installed in the most powerful political and military position in the world."

They aren't kidding.  The alternative, however, is equally frightening.  For totally different reasons, however.  ... The statue?  For sure?  'Ain't' no Appollo Creed.  Not by a long shot.  I'll leave it at that.  ... For those truly interested, Google it.

Think Trump has turned over a new leaf?  CNN reports on the same day he made his 'apologies':

"A man who identified himself as half-Indian was escorted out of a Donald Trump rally on Thursday out of concern that he was a protester, but the man insisted he was a Trump supporter and said he feels that he was racially profiled."

Think the message may have not made it down the chain of command?

Seems the GOP will not end its dogged pursuit of Mrs. Clinton any time soon.  The Washington Times reports:

"The State Department can find no evidence that some of Hillary Clinton’s top aides completed their required ethics training, raising still more questions about whether her team cut corners during their time serving with her in government."

Would come as no surprise, would it?  The Clintons have always believed a different standard applied to them.  By Divine Right?

"The Republican National Committee had sued to get a look at the records for Mrs. Clinton and nine of her top staffers, including many who have shifted over to work on her presidential campaign. Of those, only three had records showing they completed the training."

Again, why should anyone have to sue for this information?  Why isn't the government far more transparent?  Instead, it stonewalls FOIA requests.  In direct violation of the law.  Falsely, calls it "national 'security,'" -- or gives no explanation at all.  Stonewalls.  Forget?  The law only applies to the peasants:

"The six who didn’t have any record of completing the important training were Cheryl Mills, Huma Abedin, Anne Marie Slaughter, Caitlin Klevorick, Jake Sullivan and Kris Bladerston."

Bet there weren't more?  Think both parties don't do the same?

8-19-16

The "Hump The Rump" Trump and "Pilloried Hillary" saga continue unabated.  She lambasted his economic priorities.  Rightfully, so.  Think hers are any different?  That she, like him, is not a member of the top 1% of the food chain?  That she, like him, won't look out for number one?  Some things never change.  Never will.  Think not?  Think Hillary didn't make millions in speeches courtesy of her Wall Street barons?

CNN reports:

"The Trump campaign issued a statement Thursday, saying: "Right now the American economy is only working for the rigged system in Washington and on Wall Street, yet Hillary Clinton is running to keep things as they are. Clinton's plans today will short circuit our economy by raising taxes, increasing spending and killing jobs. Donald Trump presents a better vision and a new direction -- a plan to unleash prosperity, create jobs and increase wages so that all Americans can succeed."

Is that right?  Think so?  Believe either candidate can deliver on any of it?  Any at all?  Only difference?  Trump gives no specifics.  Hillary can't deliver without a Democratic Congress.  Even then, the deficit would balloon, leaving many in her party highly skeptical.  Many, uncooperative since they would have to run for re-election.

Think anyone who had made comments like Trump regarding the Second Amendment, its supporters, and those supporters supposedly being able to do something about Clinton's appointment of justices to the Supreme Court, wouldn't have wound up 'detained' by police and forwarded to Secret Service officers for questioning?  Trump's implication of violence would have gotten anyone else in the clutches of law enforcement.

CNN reports:

"The former head of the CIA, retired Gen. Michael Hayden, told CNN's Jake Tapper: "If someone else had said that said outside the hall, he'd be in the back of a police wagon now with the Secret Service questioning him."

He's right.  Interestingly and rightly, the Secret Service did question the Trump Campaign, but not the candidate himself.  Why not?  Why should he be treated any differently than anyone else in a similar situation?  His comments set off a fire storm.  He figuratively shoots from the help.  Talks out both sides his ass.  Says incredibly stupid things with seeming impunity.

He now claims he was being sarcastic when he accused the President and Mrs. Clinton, as Secretary of State, of founding ISIS.  Is this the kind of person fit for the Presidency?  Still intend to vote for this national socialist, achingly psychotic, fascist son of a bitch?  TL?  Ben?  Tim?  This f--ker still the man?  Your man?

Trump has no intention of reining it in.  None at all.  Apparently, no matter the personal cost and that to his party.  CNN reports:

"Donald Trump offered a fatalistic assessment of his personal and political future on Thursday, saying he will not abandon the controversial style that fueled his ascent despite lagging poll numbers and a string of damaging controversies.  And if that means losing to Hillary Clinton in November, Trump told CNBC: "I'm going to have a very, very nice long vacation."

Still voting for the son of a bitch, TL?  Ben?  Tim?  This f--ker still the man?

Trump, indeed, has considerable problems regarding his sanity.  Get this.  CNN reports:

"Donald Trump on Wednesday repeatedly called President Barack Obama the "founder" of ISIS and labeled Hillary Clinton the "co-founder."
At a rally in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Trump also said that ISIS "honors" Obama -- who the GOP nominee referred to as "Barack Hussein Obama."

This guy is clearly out of his mind.  While the President and the former Secretary of State leave much to be desired, there is no way they can be held responsible for ISIS.  He now says he was being "sarcastic."  Interesting, isn't it?

One paper is calling for Trump to withdraw from the Presidential campaign.  Interesting, isn't it?  CNN reports:

"The front page of Wednesday's New York Daily News called for Donald Trump to end his presidential campaign -- writing, "This isn't a joke any more."  In an editorial posted online Tuesday night, the newspaper called for Trump to end his campaign following comments the candidate made on Tuesday that some saw as a threat of violence toward his rival Hillary Clinton.  "Donald Trump must end his campaign for the White House in a reckoning with his own madness, while praying that nothing comes of his musing about an assassination of Hillary Clinton," the paper wrote.  Trump said at a campaign stop in North Carolina on Tuesday that "Hillary wants to abolish -- essentially abolish the Second Amendment. By the way, if she gets to pick, if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don't know."

This, what Republicans truly want in the Oval Office?  Think one of the first members of the Republican Party, Abraham Lincoln, isn't spinning in his grave?  Still voting for this sad sack of shit, TL?  Ben?  Tim?  This guy still your man?  The above quote comes from both a newspaper and a part of the country that figuratively takes no prisoners.  Even when the not-so-favorite son is one of their own.

Trump's henchmen wasted no time trying to cover his psychotic ass.  NPR reports:

"Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook said in a statement, "This is simple — what Trump is saying is dangerous. A person seeking to be president of the United States should not suggest violence in any way."  But the Trump campaign was quick to dispute that interpretation. In an emailed statement with the subject line, "Trump Campaign Statement on Dishonest Media," Trump spokesman Jason Miller said:  "It's called the power of unification — 2nd Amendment people have amazing spirit and are tremendously unified, which gives them great political power. And this year, they will be voting in record numbers, and it won't be for Hillary Clinton, it will be for Donald Trump."

Wishful thinking?  You decide.  One thing is for sure, like Madam Clinton, Trump takes absolutely no personal responsibility for his failings.  None at all.  Can't dazzle 'em with brilliance, baffle 'em with bullshit.  Both candidates.  Both unfit.  Both, most despised candidates for President, most likely in U.S. history.

Apparently, cracks are beginning to appear in the upper echelons of the Republican Party.  Tough, isn't it?  CBS News reports:

"More than 70 Republicans have signed an open letter urging Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus into cutting off funding to Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, and using it to finance Republican Senate and House races, according to a letter obtained by Politico."

Who'd 'a 'thunk' it, no?  Has Hell finally frozen over?  Hard to believe, isn't it?  Then again, no question, the GOP is smarter than it appears.

"We believe that Donald Trump's divisiveness, recklessness, incompetence, and record-breaking unpopularity risk turning this election into a Democratic landslide, and only the immediate shift of all available RNC resources to vulnerable Senate and House races will prevent the GOP from drowning with a Trump-emblazoned anchor around its neck," a draft of the letter stated. "This should not be a difficult decision, as Donald Trump's chances of being elected president are evaporating by the day."

Trump's reaction?  He says he'll retaliate.  Refuse to raise any money for the GOP.

The natives are indeed getting restless.  Dissent runs rampant within the GOP itself.  Get this.  The Washington Post reports:

"The grass-roots group of Republicans who will be voting for Hillary Clinton, R4C16.org, has posted its endorsement. It is signed by a raft of Republicans who have served in GOP administrations, in the military and on GOP campaigns:

"We are proud members of the party of Abraham Lincoln and Ronald Reagan, a party rooted in liberty and respect for the individual. We support policies of limited government, free-market economics, and a strong, global vision of foreign policy and national security.

"Donald Trump betrays our values and beliefs. His campaign has been marked by isolationism, nationalism, vulgarity, and ignorance of serious policy matters. Supporting Mr. Trump forsakes Republican history, harms the Republican brand, and breaks the trust of millions of current and future Republican voters.

"In the 2016 election, we will vote for Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump for President of the United States. Secretary Clinton is a more qualified candidate and would make a better president. Voting for her is best for our country. It is also a necessary step to restore the Republican party to its core principles. We will not allow Trumpism to become the new Republican party."

Interesting, isn't it?  Still voting for this insane, national socialist, fascist son of a bitch, TL?  Ben?  Tim?  This guy still the man, boys?

8-19-16

As reported recently in this publication and elsewhere, Judicial Watch has doggedly pursued Mrs. Clinton.  Another batch of emails have been released that purportedly demonstrate improper activity between The State Department and the Clinton Foundation.  CBS reports:

"Despite denials that the State Department and the Clinton Foundation had any significant ties to each other while Hillary Clinton served as the nation's chief diplomat, a new batch of emails sheds new light on the seemingly close relationship between the two entities.  The latest email release, obtained by the group Judicial Watch from a State Department Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request, included several exchanges between a top foundation worker and State officials working under Clinton."

Highly unlikely anything will come of this no matter what.  Forget?  The 'Justice' Department, despite supposed separation from the Democratic administration, will likely do nothing.  Why would it?  One hand washes the other.  Had it been a Republican administration and a Republican Secretary of State, the same would have occurred.  Principle means nothing.  Partisanship reins supreme.

Madam Clinton still does not live in the same world the rest of us do.  ... Despite the fact she does all she can to give the impression she's one of the bottom 99%, she's clearly not.  Her just released tax returns prove otherwise.  She recently gave a speech in Michigan to outline her plans for the economy.  NPR reports:

"And I know my opponent in this election was here in Michigan about a week ago and it was like he was in a different place. When he visited Detroit on Monday, he talked only of failure, poverty and crime. He is missing so much about what makes Michigan great.  And the same is true when it comes to our country. He describes America as an embarrassment. He said and I quote, 'We're becoming a third world country.' Look around you my friends. Go visit with the workers building rockets. That doesn't happen in third world countries!"

That's disingenuous bullshit, Mrs. Clinton.  While Trump is indeed a psychotic idiot, our formerly great country is nowhere near what it used to be.  Not by a long shot.  Most jobs today are service level jobs.  Low wages.  No benefits.  Precisely, why whatever is left of the middle class is quickly disappearing.  Becoming extinct.

You can't cherry pick, Madam, and expect to be taken seriously.  The public is well aware the economy has gone backwards for most.  With the exception of the top 1% of the food chain, -- including you, your husband, Trump, the corporate management suite, and the rich.  This is not class envy.  It's reality.  A sad reality that will continue to deteriorate no matter who wins the Presidency.

All politicians pay lip service to the middle class.  No more than that.  Even Hillary and her husband, the former President.  Forget?  Both have received millions from Wall Street.  Remain beholden to their corporate masters.  Mrs. Clinton was not even apparently able to separate the business of the State Department and the Clinton Foundation while she was in office, -- if just released emails provide any indication.

"But there are common sense things that your government could do that would give Americans more opportunities to succeed. Why don't we do it? Because powerful special interests and the tendency to put ideology ahead of political progress have led to gridlock in Congress. And how can you not be frustrated, and even angry, when you see nothing getting done? And a lot of people feel no one is on their side and no one has their back. And that is not how it's supposed to be in America. If I am fortunate enough to be your President, I will have your back every single day that I serve."

More of the same old, same old.  Empty rhetoric.  Abject bullshit, not-so-cleverly designed to bamboozle.  She fails to indicate how she will accomplish all her lofty goals.  No different than Trump and his failure to provide any indication precisely how he intends to deliver.  Clinton fails to understand bullshit always rings hollow:

"So here's what I want. I want every American family to be able to tell the same story. If you work hard. You do your part, you should be able to give your children all the opportunities they deserve. That is the basic bargain of America."

Other than nothing, what the hell does the above quote mean?  How is it relevant to the plight of not only the middle class, but the bottom of the food chain as well?  Consider the following from her:

"So here are four questions that I hope the American people will ask of both candidates — and that the answers should help make your choice in November crystal clear:  First, which candidate has a real plan to create good-paying jobs?  Second, who will restore fairness to our economy and ensure that those at the top pay their fair share of taxes?  Third, who will really go to bat for working families?  And, fourth, who can bring people together to deliver results that will make a difference in your lives?"

How about the truth, Mrs. Clinton?  The answer to your questions is no one.  Certainly, for both you and Trump.  Even the Libertarians and Greens have failed to show they have any ability to force desperately needed change.  The problem is systemic.  Top-down.  Bottom-up.  The country has become so bitterly divided, rudderless, that two grossly unqualified, profoundly despised candidates have won the nomination of the Democratic and Republican Parties.  That's pathetic.  Pitiful.  Unacceptable.  Appalling.

The bottom line is there is no bottom line.  Neither candidate can deliver without Congress.  Cannot tax and spend.  Only Congress can do that.  No matter who wins the Presidency in the coming November fiasco, the other party will stonewall anything the new President intends to do.  Think the public is restless now?  Wait until January 20, 2017.  'You 'ain't' seen nuttin' yet.'

Still think the Clintons are middle class?  Think again.  The Washington Times reports:

"All told, the couple earned $151.5 million over the last nine years, and some $238 million since they left the White House in 2001."

-- This, after "Pilloried Hillary" claimed to have been broke.  Amazing recovery, no?

Mrs. Clinton, as Secretary of State, worked hard for Obama to negotiate the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP).  Now, she says she's opposed.  The Washington Times reports:

"Hillary Clinton said Thursday she will kill the Trans Pacific Partnership, delivering a flat rejection of the deal she once praised, and helped President Obama negotiate.  “I oppose it now, I’ll oppose it after the election, and I’ll oppose it as president,” she said, detailing her economic plans in a speech in Michigan."

Sounds like the elder Bush's:  "Read my lips.  No new taxes."  Think Hillary won't flip flop yet again?  We'll see.

"The issue has dogged her for months, including most recently at the Democratic convention last month, where a close friend of hers, Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe, told Politico she would find a way to get the trade deal approved once she’s in the White House. Mr. McAuliffe backed off and the Clinton campaign rejected his claims, but GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump said the comments exposed where Mrs. Clinton really stands."

One can't honestly believe either candidate.  Both lie.  Talk out both sides the ass.  Aren't we 'lucky?'

The Republicans in Congress are growing increasingly restless.  CBS News reports:

"Two powerful House Republicans are calling for a perjury investigation into presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.  "The evidence collected by the FBI during its investigation of Secretary Clinton's use of a personal email system appears to directly contradict several aspects of her sworn testimony" to Congress, Rep. Jason Chaffetz, the chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, and Bob Goodlatte, chairman of the Judiciary Committee, wrote in a letter requesting the probe.  The letter is addressed to Channing Phillips, the U.S. Attorney for Washington, D.C."

Think anything will come of this?  Think again.  Forget?  Partisanship reins supreme.  Both parties.  Regarding the Clinton Foundation and in follow up to material posted earlier in this article, consider the following. The Washington Times reports:

"The Obama administration rejected requests from three FBI field offices that wanted to open public corruption probes of the Clinton Foundation, according to a report that added to headaches for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.  Alerted by banks to suspicious transactions, the FBI wanted to investigate conflicts of interest involving foreign donors to the foundation while Mrs. Clinton was secretary of state. But the Justice Department put the kibosh on the it, CNN reported.  The report added to questions about the blurred line between the activity at the Clinton Foundation and the State Department during Mrs. Clinton’s tenure, which included email made public earlier this week that showed foundation donors getting special treatment at the agency."

None of this is good for Mrs. Clinton.  At the very least, there is the appearance the top 1% receive no justice at all, while the bottom 99 get kangaroo justice, that is, f--ked in the ass without the Vaseline.  ... Right, Sheriff?  TL?  In follow up to the above, Fox reports:

"A fresh report that federal prosecutors are probing the Clinton Foundation revived speculation Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton may not be past her email problems, but the Justice Department on Friday declined to confirm the account.

"Despite the official decline, The Daily Caller reported that several investigations were being launched including one led by U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara of the Civil Frauds Unit that will focus on Clinton Foundation in New York.

“We’re declining to comment,” a spokesperson told FoxNews.com about the claims."

Interesting, isn't it?  Never ends.

8-19-16

Trump and his handlers remain idiots.  Worse?  Don't seem to be getting any smarter.  CBS reports:

"Donald Trump spokeswoman Katrina Pierson called the U.S. war in Afghanistan "Obama's war," suggesting in a CNN interview Saturday that the Democratic president was responsible for invading the country -- a decision that was actually made by former President George W. Bush in 2001."

Amazing, isn't it?  Insult to injury, Trump continues to have no clue regarding ISIS and the fact recent terror attacks here were homegrown.  Had no connection to ISIS according to federal authorities.  CNN reports:

"This summer there's been an ISIS attack launched outside the war zones of the Middle East -- hard to believe -- every 84 hours. Here in America we have seen one brutal attack after another," Trump said. "I'll tell you what, we can never allow this to happen again."

Now, this sad, sick, national socialist claims he'll lose Pennsylvania only if voter fraud occurs.  What voter fraud?  Where?  There is none.  A goddamned myth perpetrated, perpetuated by GOP national socialists to disenfranchise the elderly and poor.  A ruse.  Worse?  The nazis engage in voter intimidation.   Why?  To ensure only Republicans get elected.

The national socialist bastards have intentionally, deliberately compromised the electoral system.  -- The former bedrock of our democratic republic national socialists are so desperate to obliterate.  Right, TL?  Tim?  Ben?  Insult to injury?  Trump claims the spoils of war go to the victor.  Is that right?  That's certainly one of the reasons why a vanquished Germany at the end of the First World War gave rise to the Third Reich, that is, Nazi Germany.

Precisely, why an enlightened United States at the end of the Second World War helped Germany and Japan to rebuild.  One reason, certainly, why both countries are two of our best allies today.  Trump, ludicrously, dangerously wants an ideological test for all immigrants.  -- Hey, Donny?  That mean they've got to be just like you?  National socialist, fascist, a bona fide nazi?

"Extreme vetting?"  What the hell's that, Mr. Trump?  Will you and your henchmen perversely force them to walk barefoot on a bed of hot coals to see if their feet indeed burn?  Who's going to decide and impose all this?  You, as a not-so-benevolent despot?  A fuhrer?  How?  By fiat?  That is, Executive Order?  Petulantly exclude those not believing in the right 'brand' of Islam?  Beliefs that don't meet your approval?  That aren't acceptable to you?

That Aryan arrogant you somehow perversely believe the Creator has died and appointed you God?  Who the hell are you to impose your religious views on anyone?  In direct violation of the First Amendment Freedom of Religion?  To say nothing of the converse, the First Amendment Establishment Clause, that is Freedom from Religion?  ... Both equally applicable when you pick and choose.

Think this country wants a goddamned nazi dictator, a fuhrerThe Fourth Reich?  Think again, you fascist son of a bitch.  Would you believe this national socialist piece of shit states the United States should have seized Iraqi oil after Iraq was invaded under false pretenses by Bush "The Tush" and "Slick Dick" Cheney?

This appallingly clueless goddamned jackass truly believes the Iraqis would have gone along?  Think terror in Iraq wouldn't have exponentially increased?  American troops wouldn't have become the number one target?  Indefinitely?  This hopelessly ignorant GOP national socialist doesn't seem to understand it is precisely the invasion of Iraq by the United States under egregiously false pretenses that is exactly what gave rise to ISIS.

Despite all this and the continuing Trump saga, still voting for this national socialist son of a bitch, TL?  Ben?  Tim?  This piece of shit still the man? Your man?  A man who admires Putin.  A man who remains in the image of Hitler, Mussolini.  What has happened to our formerly great country that two so poor excuses for Presidential candidates can both secure the nomination of their parties?  How?  How does that happen?

Discontent regarding the Trump saga continues to increase in Republican circles.  CBS reports:

"A letter that urges the Republican National Committee to cut off funds to Donald Trump has collected more than 120 signatures from current and former elected officials, according to the final version obtained by CBS News."

Interesting, isn't it?  Gets worse.  Think not?

"Given the catastrophic impact that Donald Trump's losing presidential campaign will have on down-ballot Senate and House races, we urge you to immediately suspend all discretionary RNC support for Trump and focus the entirety of the RNC's available resources on preserving the GOP's congressional majorities," says the letter, whose draft CBS reported on last week when there were already 70 signatures.  It adds that Trump's chances of winning in November are "evaporating by the day."

Democrats shouldn't gloat, however.  "Pilloried Hillary" is nowhere near out of the woods.  She has more than enough of her own issues pending.  Issues the GOP will be more than willing to exploit.  Indeed, rightfully so.  No matter who wins, the public loses.

Even the former Mayor of New York can't seem to get his facts straight rallying to the side of "Hump The Rump" Trump.  NPR reports:

"Rudy Giuliani appeared to forget the terrorist attack on Sept. 11, 2001, while warming up a crowd for Donald Trump's foreign policy speech on Monday.

"By the way," Giuliani said, "under those eight years, before Obama came along, we didn't have any successful radical Islamic terrorist attack in the United States. They all started when Clinton and Obama got into office."

Seems to have overlooked the fact his city was attacked during the Bush "The Tush" and "Slick Dick" Cheney regime.  ... How soon they forget.  ... And the fact the State Department failed to do background checks on the terrorists.  Failed to take action when flight schools reported they only wished to learn how to fly straight and level, not take off and land.  Not one head rolled.  Not one.

Instead, the gutless nazi bastards in Washington, both parties, eviscerated the Bill of Rights.  Abrogated all civil and constitutional rights and liberties.  Falsely, in the name of "national 'security.'"  In reality, to consolidate power, establish a goddamned fascist police-state.  USA 'Patriot' Act.  National 'Security' Act.  'Real' ID Act.  To name a few.  Nazi America.  A goddamned fascist police-state. The Fourth Reich.

Interestingly, Giuliani's faux pas appeared even worse particularly due to the timing of the above quote:

"The oversight was all the more glaring because Giuliani had spoken moments earlier about visiting ground zero with Trump's running mate, Mike Pence, "when we went through the worst foreign attack in our history since the War of 1812."

Could it be ole Rudy has finally lost it?  At least, suffered one of the grandest brain farts of all time.
