Despite enormous pressure coming from the Nazi Right, Georgia Republican Gov. Nathan Deal stood tall. Indeed, a rare thing for any GOP official to do. Vetoed a 'religious' 'liberty' bill that would have egregiously discriminated against the LGBT community. This bill was strongly opposed by many, including major corporations.
This exceptionally courageous Governor opined the bill, "doesn’t reflect the character of our state or the character of its people.”
That's right. Does not. Anywhere in our formerly great country. It's national socialist, fascist, nazi legislation embraced by the Religious Right and its sick sycophants. It's not Christian. It's nazi. Gives Christians a bad name. As intolerant, self-righteous, and narrow minded. Indeed, some are. Fortunately, not all. Wouldn't be surprised the head honcho of their religion is not happy with the direction the Nazi Right is taking his spiritual beliefs. How they've been perversely bastardized by goddamned fascists on the Right.
