While the business and church communities stood tall during the recent Kingsland flood catastrophe, there was one glaring exception. On 10-17-18, the Antlers Coffee Shop closed due to storm-related failure of the Kingsland water system. Patrons, however, are routinely allowed to get online outside even when the shop is closed.

A long-term coffee shop customer entered the hotel lobby to ask the desk clerk whether wifi was still up and running after the catastrophe. She said it was and told the patron he could get online inside the closed shop. She then asked him to have another regular customer who had just arrived outside to come in and get out of the cold as well.

Antlers co-proprietor Rick apparently quickly got wind of both customers, made quite a jackass of himself emulating the petulant narcissist currently occupying the Oval Office. Aggressive stupidity at a time the Kingsland business community is indeed suffering, can least afford it. Further proof positive of the old adage 'can fix ignorant, can't fix stupid.'

Why would, why should both customers put up with this? Think this hasn't happened to others?

"Dallas Cowboys superstar running back Ezekiel Elliott will pay for the funeral expenses of a 14-year-old football phenom who was shot and killed at a party last week. Jaylon McKenzie died on Saturday after he was hit by a stray bullet while leaving a party in Venice, Illinois, near St. Louis. Police said Jaylon and a 15-year-old girl were both struck by gunfire after they left a house where the party was being held. The girl was listed in critical condition Monday. ESPN reports the tragedy struck a personal tone with Elliott, who grew up in St. Louis, and that he reached out to the McKenzie family when he learned of the story. The Cowboys confirmed Elliott's gesture and said he plans to keep his communications with Jaylon's family private."

"According to CBS affiliate KMOV-TV, Jaylon's mother, Sukeena Gunner, said her son was trying to avoid a fight when he left the party. He was taken to a hospital in Granite City, Illinois, where he died of his wounds. Despite not yet being in high school, Jaylon's talent was so remarkable that he was featured in the November 2018 issue of Sports Illustrated in an article titled "Six Teens Who Will Rule the Future of Sports." "Jaylon—who plays running back, receiver and defensive back—drew national attention when he caught five passes for 161 yards and two touchdowns to help the East team to a victory at the NFL's 8th Grade All-American Game in Canton, Ohio, in August," the article said. "Jaylon expects to be playing in the NFL. His dream? To be a star in L.A.—for the Rams or the Chargers." The high school sports prospect website 247 Sports confirms Jaylon had already received scholarship offers to play football at the University of Illinois and the University of Missouri."

Uncommon Valor. Two French commandos gave their lives rescuing four hostages, one of them an American. NPR reports:

"France's military has freed four hostages who were being held in Burkina Faso. But as it announced that success, the navy also said it's mourning two special forces soldiers who died in the overnight rescue operation. The military says Cédric de Pierrepont and Alain Bertoncello, who held the rank of petty officers, were killed as they carried out their mission to rescue the hostages in the vast Sahel region — the area between the Sahara to the north and savannas to the south."

"French President Emmanuel Macron issued a statement Friday offering his condolences to the two commandos' loved ones. In that message, Macron also identified the rescued hostages as French tourists Patrick Picque and Laurent Lassimouillas — who were abducted May 1 in Benin. French officials said the other two hostages were an American woman and a South Korean woman. Macron's statement did not name the hostages' abductors; in recent years, several extremist militant groups have operated in the region. Picque and Lassimouillas were kidnapped during a visit to Pendjari National Park in Benin, an important wildlife reserve that sprawls along the border next to Arli National Park, a similar park in Burkina Faso. French authorities had been looking for the two tourists after their guide's body was found earlier this month, according to France 24. The outlet adds that shortly after that discovery, their off-road vehicle was also found, burned to a shell. Discussing the rescue operation at a news conference Friday, French Defense Minister Florence Parly said "four lives were saved this night, four lives in the hands of terrorists." Parly also thanked local authorities and the "precious support of our American allies in conducting this operation."

Not clear the identities of the American and the Korean, or their circumstances.

"As France's military announced news of the two commandos' death, Adm. Christophe Prazuck, the French navy's chief of staff, issued a statement saying, "I admire their courage, I share the sorrow of their families and their loved ones." When contacted by NPR about the operation Friday, the U.S. State Department did not offer a direct comment. But Tibor Nagy, the assistant secretary for the agency's Bureau of African Affairs, said in a tweet: "We are grateful for the safe recovery of hostages, including an American, during a recovery operation in Burkina Faso. "I offer my deepest condolences to the families of the French soldiers killed during the operation."

"Outside of band practice, Alex Kunda isn't one to toot his own horn. But over the last 13 years the mild-mannered senior from Brunswick High School in Brunswick, Georgia, has accomplished something remarkable. He has never missed school — not one day — since he started kindergarten.

"The fiance of an unarmed woman killed by a former Minneapolis police officer said he wants police nationwide to learn from the case. Don Damond told "CBS This Morning," "This is a policing issue," in his first sit-down interview since former Minneapolis police officer Mohamed Noor was found guilty last week of murdering Justine Damond nearly two years ago. "I cannot even still get my arms around how this could happen," Damond said. In what would be their final conversation, Justine called Don on the evening of July 15, 2017, while he was in Las Vegas for business. He said she was concerned she had heard a possible sexual assault near their home. "My first thought was, 'I want her to be safe,'" Don Damond said. "And so I said, 'I think just stay put and call 911 and then call me back.'"

She wasn't safe. She died at the hands of a former police officer who followed the gutless police mantra: 'Shoot first, ask questions later.' ... Right, Sheriff?

"Noor and his partner responded to Justine's call. While searching for a suspect from inside their patrol car, Noor testified that he heard a loud slap on the driver's side of the vehicle and shot Damond from the passenger seat, out of fear for his partner's life."

Readers are reminded investigators found no forensic evidence on the car that Justine had indeed slapped the vehicle. None.

"Probably six, seven minutes later, I text her having not heard from her," Don said. "I said, 'Tell me what's going on.' At this point, she was already gone."

"Don and Justine were just four weeks away from being married when she died. Noor is facing more than 15 years in prison after being convicted of charges including third-degree murder."

"A sheriff in South Carolina and two other officers have been indicted on federal charges that they allegedly jailed an innocent man for three days in retaliation for him not following their orders as they looked for a suspect after a car accident. On Nov. 20, 2018, Chester County Sheriff George Alexander Underwood, Lt. Johnny Ricardo Neal Jr. and Chief Deputy Robert Andrew Sprouse were among the authorities responding to a car accident and searching for a "fleeing" suspect when they encountered a resident, identified in court papers as K.S., recording the situation on his cellphone. K.S. lived on the highway where the accident had occurred and began recording the scene on Facebook Live. He did not "enter the roadway or interfere with law enforcement activities," court papers said. When Underwood told K.S. to stay on the porch, the man opted to remain in the yard. "I'm telling you to get on the porch," an officer could be heard telling K.S., according to WSOC-TV in Charlotte, North Carolina. Twenty-five minutes later, as K.S. continued to record on Facebook Live, the sheriff told him to go [to] his porch and when K.S. did, Underwood followed him and demanded that he turn over his phone, according to court papers."

One Anaheim Police officer has been fired and another has been placed on administrative leave after review of officer-involved shooting from July 21, 2018, found that they fired more than 70 shots in a residential neighborhood, killing a suspect."

"Body camera footage released by police officials shows the officers' response after they spot the white truck. One of the officers tells the suspect to stop the car, and the officer who is driving can be seen pointing his handgun in the suspect's direction. The officers then activate the patrol car's sirens, and soon after, the officer who is driving shoots through the patrol car's windshield dozens of times as he pursues the truck."

"One officer then instructs the other to "start shooting," and the officer in the passenger seat can be seen retrieving a rifle. Over the radio, one of the officers then announces that the suspect is pointing a gun backwards toward them as he flees. Derrick Alfred said Friday night at a news conference. "Multiple times the suspect hung out of the window, the suspect fired rounds at the pursuing officers and deputies," Alfred said. He said that two Downey police vehicles were struck but that no officers were hurt. Officers did not return fire during the chase, Alfred said."

"Law enforcement officers returned fire at the end of the relatively short pursuit, which ended in an industrial area southeast of downtown L.A. At least one bystander, who was in a pickup and downrange of the shooting, was grazed by a bullet, Alfred said. It was not clear whether that person was struck by law enforcement or the suspect."

"Suspect is armed with a knife and threatening with it," he said into his radio. To the girl: "Drop it!"

"I'm backing up westbound," Roberts said into his radio. "She's still armed with the knife, refusing to drop it."

"Suddenly, the teen appears to quicken her pace toward the officer, who fires three shots, all of which hit the target."

"Roberts called for an EMS unit, and he and an accompanying officer immediately began performing first aid."

Two officers at the scene and they couldn't handle a 17-year-old girl with a knife without shooting her?

"I'm so sorry," said the girl, doubled up on the ground. The incident occurred May 3. The girl still was hospitalized as of Thursday, according to the Oxnard Police Department statement."

Fortunately, the officer failed to kill her. This certainly appears to be a girl with serious mental issues.

In the video, the woman can be heard shouting "I'm pregnant" multiple times before she is shot. Baytown Police Lt. Steve Dorris said an officer on patrol saw a 45-year-old woman the officer had encountered before. He knew the woman had outstanding warrants, so he approached her to arrest her. Dorris said a struggle started and the officer was forced to use his Taser. But as he was trying to detain the woman, she managed to get control of the Taser and used it on the officer, who then fired several shots, hitting the woman at least once."

"The officer tried to help the woman, but she was pronounced dead at the scene, Dorris added."

Witnesses at the apartment complex told KPRC that the woman was "not a bad person," and that she would “just walk around, smoke her cigarettes and walk her dogs.” Another neighbor, Taylin Inniss, said she heard the shots, and when she learned that someone had been killed at her apartment complex, she didn't believe it. "They must’ve had a couple of words. Things went a whole different way, and he shot her, and I really feel for the family and I hope they get some type of justice," Inniss said. "I just pray for them honestly because life is short nowadays." Baytown police are not naming the officer who shot the woman, but said he has worked as an officer for 11 years."

"The stepdaughter of a woman shot and killed by a Texas police officer on Monday says her stepmother was schizophrenic and that police were aware of her condition.

"Neighbors who saw the violence escalate say the community knew Turner had mental health issues but that they never felt threatened by her. Multiple witnesses say the officer lives in the same housing complex as Turner. When asked if there was knowledge that Turner suffered from mental health issues, Steve Dorris said, "I don't know that to be diagnosed fact. So I'm kind of cautious about commenting on that."

Officer Desmond Logan is accused of raping three women in his custody, and he was fired in 2016 from his side job at the University of Tennessee, where he was accused of harassing a woman. All said they notified Chattanooga police."

"But the Chattanooga Times Free Press reports that Logan wasn't officially investigated until one of them went to the county sheriff, saying she was raped last June. The police chief then denied that Logan had a history of complaints. The lawsuit suggests otherwise. Logan was put on leave and resigned in February before he could be fired."

The Justice Department says Daniel Everette Hale, 31, of Nashville, Tenn., used his top-secret computer to print out dozens of documents related to counterterrorism operations while working as a contractor for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, or NGA. The instances in question occurred nearly five years ago, according to an indictment unsealed Thursday. Hale first met the reporter in question in April 2013, when he was still in the U.S. Air Force and working for the National Security Agency, according to the court documents. He began sharing information the next year, when he had left the military and was working for defense contractor Leidos at the NGA.

"The indictment does not identify the reporter by name. But it says the reporter made a documentary about the U.S. military's use of drones and was a scheduled speaker at "a Washington, D.C. restaurant/bookstore" on or about April 29, 2013. Those details point to Jeremy Scahill, a founding editor of The Intercept and former reporter for The Nation who wrote the book Dirty Wars, and produced a documentary of the same name, about U.S. drone campaigns and operations in Afghanistan and other countries. Reed did not mention Hale or Scahill specifically, saying the news site "does not comment on matters relating to the identity of anonymous sources." Bush administration after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, continued with the Obama administration and has now been taken to new levels under President Trump. Manning has been serving time for civil contempt for 62 days."

"The release may be short lived, however, since federal prosecutors have asked Manning to appear before another grand jury for the same questions as soon as May 16, according to the tweet. U.S. District Judge Claude Hilton told Manning in March that she would remain in federal custody “until she purges or the end of the life of the grand jury."

Over the years, Manning has been more than willing to stand tall at great personal expense.

"A Richmond appellate court in April unanimously denied an appeal by Manning. In a motion arguing for her release, Manning wrote she's refusing to cooperate with the grand jury because it "seeks to undermine the integrity of public discourse with the aim of punishing those who expose ... abuses of power by this government."

The newly energized five-man conservative majority overruled the temporary stay put in place by the lower court because Alabama allowed only a Christian minister in the execution room and refused to allow the condemned man's imam to be present. The decision was widely condemned by religious groups on the left and right, not to mention the blistering dissent from the court's liberals, who called the decision "profoundly wrong." Then, just seven weeks later, the court stayed the execution of a Buddhist Texas death row inmate, who similarly claimed that he was denied the right to have his spiritual adviser in the death chamber. This time only two justices — Clarence Thomas and Neil Gorsuch — noted their dissents. The two apparently conflicting decisions were so puzzling that they left even the lawyers involved in the cases scratching their heads."

"Kerry himself denied Trump's accusations through a spokesperson, who told ABC News on Thursday that, in part, "Everything President Trump said today is simply wrong, end of story. He's wrong about the facts, wrong about the law and sadly he's been wrong about how to use diplomacy to keep America safe." The Iranian government also denied contacts with Kerry, with Ambassador Majid Takht Ravanchi telling MSNBC, "This is something new to us, that John Kerry has told us to not talk to the current president or his administration."

"As Secretary of State Mike Pompeo appeared to be sounding the drums of war against Iran Thursday, and U.S. warships were steaming toward the region, a reporter asked President Donald Trump if there is a risk of military confrontation. A source familiar with the matter told CBS News that White House lawyer Emmet Flood made the request, which McGahn did not comply with. "We did not perceive it as any kind of threat or something sinister," said McGahn's attorney, William Burck. "It was a request, professionally and cordially made." McGahn has told special counsel Robert Mueller's investigators he believed Mr. Trump did not obstruct justice, but has not spoken on it publicly, The New York Times reported."

On the night of Jan. 16, Liz O'Sullivan sent a letter she'd been working on for weeks. It was directed at her boss, Matt Zeiler, the founder and CEO of Clarifai, a tech company. "The moment before I hit send and then afterwards, my heart, I could just feel it racing," she says. The letter asked: Is our technology going to be used to build weapons? With little government oversight of the tech industry in the U.S., it's tech workers themselves who increasingly are raising these ethical questions."

But there are a lot of us out here saying, should we be building this at all?"

Imagine the nightmare of completely autonomous weapon systems. What could happen if a robotic system wound up completely on its own, went rogue, with no human ultimately in control?

"Former Clarifai employees told NPR that at the office, the mood got tense. There were plenty of people who felt comfortable working on Project Maven. Others resented that it had been so secretive. And some just found it morally troubling. As the months went by, O'Sullivan says she realized she couldn't change the direction of the company. So at the beginning of this year, she wrote that letter to Zeiler and sent it to the whole staff. "We have serious concerns about recent events and are beginning to worry about what we are all working so hard to build," she wrote. She went on to ask a bunch of questions. Many of them are the same ones being asked across the tech world today. Are you going to let us know who we're selling our stuff to? Are you going [to] vet how it's used? Do we care if this is used to hurt people?"

"A week after she sent that letter, she says Zeiler spoke at a staff meeting. "He did say that our technology was likely to be used for weapons," O'Sullivan says, "and autonomous weapons at that." Zeiler does not deny this. In fact, he says, countries like China, are already doing it. The U.S. needs to step it up. "We're not going to be building missiles, or any kind of stuff like that at Clarifai," he says. "But the technology ... is going to be useful for those. And through partnerships with the DOD and other contractors, I do think it will make its way into autonomous weapons."

Zeiler is clueless. Apparently, driven by profit motive. Hasn't considered ultimate possible consequences of autonomous weapons. Or, simply doesn't care.

"This is where he and O'Sullivan disagree. Should companies like Clarifai, Google and Amazon be involved in military projects? Zeiler says Clarifai's technology will help save American soldiers. "At the end of the day, they're out there to do a mission. And if we can provide the best technology so that they can accurately do their mission, in the worst case, there might be a human life at the other end that they're targeting. But in many cases it might be a weapons cache, [without] any humans around or a bridge, to slow down an enemy threat." And, Zeiler says, it's going to help minimize civilian casualties by improving the accuracy of weapons."

That's the positive side. Clearly, he hasn't considered the negative. Or, simply doesn't care.

"O'Sullivan wasn't buying that. She quit the day after the staff meeting. She describes herself as a conscientious tech objector. She went on to join a startup that advises companies on how to make trustworthy artificial intelligence. She says she still thinks tech can be really wonderful — or really dangerous. Like playing with magic."

That's right. A totally autonomous robotic weapon system that cannot be overridden by a human operator immediately should never be built. The consequences could be catastrophic for humanity.

Up until Tuesday she has withheld public comment on the legislation. The legislation -- House Bill 314, "Human Life Protection Act" -- bans all abortions in the state except when "abortion is necessary in order to prevent a serious health risk" to the woman, according to the bill's text. Welcome. Liberty In Peril has been relaunched at a new URL:
libertyinperil.com. This is a new commercial site hosted in an overseas
country, which unlike our own, does value free speech, Net security,
privacy, equally importantly, despises hackers. Banks too big to fail
should not have the ability to shut down ftp servers on four Liberty In
Peril websites, making upload impossible. -- Simply, because they don't
want the truth of their criminal activity reported to the public.

Should this site not be kept up, running, and fully operational, the
libertyinperil.com domain will be quickly moved to a different host
despite cost and hassle. No more bullsh-t. Criminal complaints will be
prepared and filed against Amanda Wright, Lynn Massey, and the equally
criminal bastards in the Wells Fargo corporate management suite for
egregious deceptive trade practices.

Email notification of local businesses of these practices, has and will,
continue unabated until Wells Fargo accepts responsibility, ceases these
practices, and finally makes it right. During the last several weeks
after the ftp servers were hacked, a blizzard of these emails was sent to
local businesses to keep intense pressure on the criminal bastards at
Wells Fargo. Copies of these emails were sent to bank officials. They
have been posted in this publication. ... We're already up to Salvo 74, --
and counting.

In addition, all new Newsletter Editions will feature an
available abbreviated version, smart phone friendly, that can be accessed
by clicking on the icon. Will supplement the regular format of this
publication. This is being done because so many of you access this
publication with smart phones and other devices with small screens.

This site has finally been fully uploaded. All links appear to be
properly working. Typos in the rush to get material up have also been
corrected. There will be a few additional changes to be made as time
allows. Including, again, a smart phone-friendly abbreviated version of
each future Newsletter Edition starting with v434 that will be available
in addition to the regular edition.

Hopefully, now, I can finally get back to the business of this
publication, that is exposure of corrupt, abusive, inept, clueless
government lackeys beholden to their corporate masters, rather than
dealing with recalcitrant webhosts. We'll see. With the
libertyinperil.com domain, however, any necessary changes in webhosts will
be easy to make since all links won't have to be changed or deactivated.

The pressure on Wells Fargo will continue unabated. Should they further
interfere with operation of this publication, it will simply provide
additional fodder for criminal complaints to be filed against them.

On 9-22-15, Kingsland Wells Fargo Store Manager Amanda Wright forced
closure of two accounts because for nearly three years this writer has
publicly accused her, her predecessor Lynn Massey, and the Wells Fargo
corporate management suite of engaging in criminal deceptive trade
practices, as well as pressuring, unduly interfering and/or bribing
webhosts to take these websites down.

Apparently, they have successfully managed to unduly influence and/or
bribe the federal Consumer Financial 'Protection' Bureau and Texas
Attorney General Consumer Protection Division as well. Forget? The bank
is considered too big to fail. Considers itself government.

For all practical purposes, that's perversely true. They have money and
resources to buy not only their human chattel, but their bought and paid
for government lackeys. Be interesting to see whether or not the U.S.
Attorney is untouchable, or sadly, similarly capable of being bought.

Immediately after closure of these accounts, the three operational Liberty
In Peril FTP servers were hacked. What that means is that while all three
sites remained operational and accessible to readers, new material could
not be uploaded. This continues to date.

Worse, 'free' accounts on all three 'free' webhosts conveniently no longer
provide technical control panel support. Clearly, they don't want to know
there are problems. Have managed, however, to find other ways to contact
webhost management and have done precisely that.

Will take a criminal investigation to determine who hacked the sites,
however. Most likely, Wells Fargo had a hand in it. Certainly, have the
resources. Highly, unlikely the Llano County Sheriff's Office was
involved. Hard to believe they would be that stupid. The Bank, however,
has nothing to lose. Owns its government lackeys. The Sheriff and his
outrageously corrupt and abusive goons, however, can expect further
exposure in this publication. Should you have information regarding this

The effort to expose Wells Fargo egregious deceptive trade practices continues. Several years ago to determinedly apply renewed pressure on our truly worthless, egregiously self-serving Texas Attorney General, now Governor, an excoriating email was sent to the bastard. Copies of which were also passed on to both offending Wells Fargo officers. A copy was also sent to the Davis campaign and others at the time.

Voters did have a right to know as Attorney General, the GOP candidate for Governor apparently selectively investigated, or not, bona fide complaints filed by citizens against banks too big to fail. Possibly, Wells Fargo could have lined his pockets in some fashion. That has yet to be determined.

The bastard and his office, no matter what, failed to respond to the complaint originally snail mailed several years ago. This material, figuratively targeting Wells Fargo and the governor 'wannabe' now Governor, had been posted and can be found by scrolling all the way down and clicking on the links well below. ... Governor? Wells Fargo bribe you to look the other way?

Will continue to do all I can to publicly expose this to all, both in this publication and elsewhere. Have done precisely that with the following email sent to Matt Turner, Matt Turner Video Services, Marble Falls, TX. A copy of it was also sent to Wells Fargo officer Amanda Wright. She has, indeed, been promoted branch manager. Reverse Darwinism. Survival of the unfittest.

This young woman has indeed been rewarded by the Wells Fargo corporate management suite for engaging in criminal deceptive trade practices and her undying loyalty to her corporate masters. -- Despite the fact these businesses were, and are, being egregiously f--ked by these very same bastards. Tough, isn't it? Impossible to entertain any sympathy for cowardice, however. Especially in view of the fact this writer has placed himself in great jeopardy taking on these corrupt, abusive, inept criminal bastards. Alone.

Exactly, why you see no investigative material highly critical of these sons of bitches in other local rags. Sadly, cowardly, all advertising income immediately dries up. Consequently, the bastards continue their criminal chicanery with impunity. On a rampage. Thus, you get what you truly deserve. Always. Precisely, why this earlier name change to Liberty In Peril remains appropriate. -- Despite the fact this writer has not yet left the area. Ten years after originally intending to do so. Thirty years in this goddamned godforsaken hellhole.

This writer, then and now, remains primarily interested in state, federal, and international issues. Another reason for this publication name change. Despite the fact I stupidly cluelessly remain here, local issues must be addressed. Can't be ignored. That's where you come in dear readers. Have the courage to inform this writer of local abuse, corruption, ineptness you are aware of, have personally experienced.

... Information these criminal bastards do all they can to conceal, cover up. Otherwise, how can they effectively sustain the charade and intended result? Loot confiscation through a boot heel on the throat of the citizenry.

The only way, short of an unwanted dreaded second American revolution, to force badly-needed change is to expose all this to the light of day. These bastards are beginning to understand they have a problem. No question, the growing rage of those they've abused, looted, egregiously f--ked. It's time to stand up. Expose this corruption to glaring sunlight. Otherwise, as fools, cowards, you will remain under their thumb. From the loftiest business owner to those on the bottom of the food chain. Wake up. Grow a pair.

Still don't think that likely to happen. After all, you're bought and paid for. Owned. Not only by your government masters, but their masters. The corporate management suite. Your employers. Think not? Wake up. You're human chattel. Corporate-owned, bought and paid for. Precisely, why you cowardly, compliantly, literally bare your asses for corporate inspection by the company doctor. Willingly, compliantly, cowardly piss in a cup under employer supervision. To sit in front of a keyboard or stock shelves all day. You have no control of your lives. You're owned. Forget? For a measly salary, no job security, reduced to no benefits. At a time of record corporate profits and cash reserves.

Then, you gallingly complain about the oppression as you tolerate egregious theft of your labor. Not only by your corporate masters, but their bought and paid for government lackeys. Too cowardly to stand up, allow disclosure of your identity when you rightfully complain to this publication of being mercilessly f--ked. Some of you falsely arrested, criminally assaulted, bogusly fined for 'offenses' you did not commit. To line County coffers. Keep the peasants in line and under control. A fascist police-state. Nazi America.

Again, yet another reason why this publication is called Liberty In Peril. Most galling? Nothing changes if you fail to step up and challenge corrupt, abusive, inept authority. Too afraid, cowardly compliant to let the bastards know who you are. Did it ever occur to the cowards out there if the identity of the accuser is kept under wraps the bastards will falsely claim it's all made up by this publication? Thus, conveniently killing all credibility. Wake up.

Cowardice is unbecoming, unworthy of our formerly great country. Insult to injury? There are the hopelessly deranged who believe the chicanery reported here to be manufactured anyway. No matter the effort. No matter the research. No matter the proof. Wake up. This writer cannot do it alone. Snowball's chance in hell. Then again, cowardice, delusion is always amply, justly rewarded. Always. You continue to 'enjoy' the very best government money can buy. Literally.

Cannot do it alone. Impossible. Not sustainable. This publication needs your financial and material support. Both. Time to step up.

Click herefor a most interesting conversation between JP2 Linda Ballard and LCRA Communications Supervisor Mitch Hibbs who at the time was investigating a complaint made by the Henderson family against the 'judge.' The recording had been made by Hibbs and provided by Phyllis Henderson who had gotten it through an open records request. During the course of the recording you will hear the 'judge' make a terroristic threat against the Henderson family which the investigator laughingly shrugged off as a joke.

Seems former LCRA Ranger Lance Bilski, stepson of Llano County Sheriff Bill Blackburn, had been harassing the Henderson family regarding their tire business, Henderson Tire. Worse? There are unsubstantiated allegations, that although very much attached, Bilski may have indeed engaged in improprieties, that is, egregiously unprofessional conduct relevant to the Henderson complaint. All this had been covered in Newsletter Text V346.

Publication of this material, however, should in no way be interpreted as endorsement of Ballard's opponent, Steve Lange, in the upcoming runoff. It is not. It is provided as a public service to expose the 'judge' for exactly whom and what she is.
