Whenever law enforcement does something heroic, and/or of exceptional benefit to the community, it leads. Always. Terrible loss of life. For no reason. NPR reports:

"Seven law enforcement officers were shot — one fatally — in Florence, S. C., Wednesday evening, city police and sheriff's officials said. A city spokesman identified him as Officer Terrence Carraway. Deputies on Thursday identified the alleged shooter as 74-year-old Frederick Hopkins, a military veteran who received disability payment. He was also a lawyer who had been disbarred. The shooting occurred just outside Florence, a city two hours north of Charleston. At an emotional press conference, authorities said they didn't have all the details. Major Michael Nunn with the sheriff's office said around 4 p.m., Florence county sheriff's deputies attempted to serve a search warrant at a residence someone inside opened fire on the officers."

"After the sheriffs were shot, the police department got involved. "The suspect continued to fire on other officers who responded to the scene to render aid to the wounded," Nunn said. "Fire was being shot all over," Florence County Sheriff Kenney Boone said. "The way the suspect was positioned, his view of fire was several hundred yards so he had an advantage and the officers couldn't get to the ones that were down." The standoff lasted approximately two hours. The subject was barricaded in the residence with children, authorities told reporters."

"Police Chief Allen Heidler said that the children were now in a safe place. He added that even would "mark a very horrific day in the annals of the Florence police department." Four police officers and three sheriff deputies were shot, Heidler said. He said the officer who died had been his friend for 30 years and was "the bravest police officer that I have ever known." Chief Deputy Glenn Kirby of the Florence County Sheriff's Office also said that a 20-year-old man in the home was wounded, according to WBTW. Eventually, the wounded officers were evacuated with the help of a bullet-resistant rescue vehicle and taken to nearby hospitals. Authorities later said the search warrant involved an allegation that someone in the residence had sexually assaulted a foster child in the home, The Associate Press reported."

"Hopkins surrendered after speaking with a negotiator, according to WBTW. He was taken to a hospital for treatment for a head injury and is unable to speak with officers, WIS-TV reported. "The active shooting situation is over and the suspect is in custody," the Florence County Emergency Management department said Wednesday evening on Twitter."

"According to NBC, Kirby told media: Two of the three injured deputies were said to be in critical condition and the third, who was shot in the leg, was in stable condition, he said. Of the three surviving police officers, one suffered a graze wound to his head and was paralyzed on one side, Kirby said. Another officer was in stable condition, and a third, shot in the thumb, was released from the hospital, Kirby said."

"The Charleston County Sheriff's office said it would be sending deputies to Florence to support the community and law enforcement operations. Hopkins had received charges prior to the incident, the AP reported. On social media, photos and comments showed him to be a marksman who took his children to shooting ranges. "I just love the smell of gunpowder in the mornin's," he reportedly wrote for his 70th birthday."

The slain officer had just received his 30-year service pin. Needless loss of life.

"The shooter has been identified as Fred Hopkins, according to a senior law enforcement official with direct knowledge of the investigation who was not authorized to speak publicly, CBS News' David Begnaud reports. Hopkins, 74, is a disabled Vietnam veteran who has faced several charges in recent years, including a 2014 count of disorderly conduct, The Associated Press reports. Records show he is a disbarred lawyer. The search warrant that was being served at his home was part of a child sexual assault investigation, and the subject of that investigation is 27-year-old Seth Hopkins, who lives there, according to the law enforcement official. Police have been called to the home dozens of times over the years, the official said. Wednesday's violence unfolded in the late afternoon after officials showed up with the search warrant. Five sheriff's deputies were standing in the front yard. As they waited for someone to answer the door, the gunman opened fire. Hopkins, according to the senior law enforcement official, was perched like a sniper. He hit three of the sheriff's deputies. Four Florence, South Carolina, police officers were later shot as they responded to a call for backup."

"The man accused of murdering a South Carolina police officer and his son were both charged on Friday in connection to the deadly confrontation, officials said. Fred Hopkins, 74, who has been in custody since Wednesday evening, was charged on Friday with one count of murder and six counts of attempted murder for shooting dead Sgt. Terrence Carraway, 52, and wounding six other police officers, authorities said. Seth Hopkins, the 27-year-old adopted son of shooting suspect Fred Hopkins, was charged with child sexual assault, said Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott, whose agency is leading the investigation of Wednesday’s shooting at the Hopkins family home. Florence County Sheriff’s investigators had arranged to meet with Seth Hopkins that day for an interview when they were “ambushed," Lott said. “These officers were ambushed very quickly. As soon as they got there, the ambush was in place,” Lott said. “These officers did absolutely nothing wrong. I don’t want anybody to think their procedures were incorrect.” When officers arrived at the Hopkins home late Wednesday afternoon, that’s when the elder Hopkins allegedly opened fire on seven Florence County Sheriff’s deputies and city cops, authorities said. The younger Hopkins was wounded in the shooting and remained hospitalized on Friday."

The County Attorney appears to be obstructing justice, accepting the word of Greene in lieu of two surveyor companies who strongly assert otherwise. Both the County Attorney and District Attorney have ignored complaints. Par for the course in Llano County, isn't it? Failed to do their jobs. No surprise there, right, Bill? Both receiving 'special consideration' up to and/or including a bribe from Greene? Regardless, clearly, no justice in Nazi Llano County. Bottom line? Desperate need for an outside criminal investigation. Conveniently, forget? This County is ruled by men, certainly not rule of law and the United States Constitution.

Precisely, why there is desperate need for a new federal agency whose sole function would be to investigate, arrest, charge, and prosecute criminal law enforcement, prosecutors, and judges in a special court whose only mandate would be to adjudicate such cases. Total independence. Until that happens, the criminal bastards who falsely believe they run and own this hell hole County will continue to do as they please.

The County Attorney appears to be protecting and defending the deputy at behest of Kingsland property owner Johnny Greene. May have received some consideration from Greene up to and including a bribe. Are the County Attorney, Greene, and the Deputy under criminal investigation? If not, why not?

How is it two surveyor companies, the Appraisal District, the Tax Office, the Precinct 3 Commissioner, even the goddamned Sheriff himself now states Kingsland resident James Berardi owns the lots in contention all these months?

Yet, you ludicrously assert that's not the County's legal position. It's not? Why not? You claim you're not a real estate expert. Rather than accept the advice of two surveyor companies, the Precinct 3 Commissioner, the Appraisal District, the Tax Office, and even the Sheriff himself, you've inexplicably chosen to follow the advice of property owner Johnny Greene, -- who conveniently happens to be reportedly in the oil industry.

Why is it, Counselor, Johnny Greene is paying for the attorney retained by Ms. Ahrens? Is Greene attempting to make this all go away by bribery? Greene has also informed Berardi he is going to sue. For what? Has Greene lost his mind?

"The general consensus so far from Republicans who have viewed the FBI report about Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh's background is that is yields no new information or additional corroborating information. Democrats, however, are blasting the report as severely incomplete. Senators on Thursday are taking turns reviewing the report following demands for a more thorough investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct leveled against President Trump's nominee. The White House received the report overnight, and transmitted it to the Senate Judiciary Committee, before each member of the Senate has a chance to review a single copy in person on Capitol Hill. Republicans still plan to begin voting on Kavanaugh on the Senate floor Friday, with final votes on Saturday. Senate Judiciary Committee Chuck Grassley claimed the report reveals nothing the committee did not already know, and reveals no "contemporaneous evidence" to support the allegations. Sen. Dianne Feinstein, the Democratic ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, said "the most notable part of this report is what's not in it."

Why isn't the public entitled to this information? Why aren't Democrats allowed to disclose the details of this sham conducted by the FBI?

"Democrats on Thursday blasted the FBI investigation into sexual misconduct allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, calling it a "sham" and "a horrific cover-up." The lawmakers spoke after having access to the report in a secure facility, arguing that the investigation was limited in scope and incomplete, and claiming that the White House directed the FBI's probe, leaving key witnesses off the interview list. "So they don't want 100 senators to read it. I'm not allowed to discuss it. The public can't see it. It's a complete sham."

"Sen. Ed Markey, D-Mass., called it a "cover-up," ripping the White House coordination with Senate Republicans to limit the scope of the investigation. "It's obviously a cover-up," Markey told CNN. "The Trump White House, working with the Republican leadership in the Senate, have deliberately circumscribed this investigation." Sen. Jeff Merkley, D-Ore., questioned the legitimacy of the probe in a tweet after being briefed on Thursday. “I read the FBI report. This whole thing is a sham. This stunted, strangled investigation was designed to provide cover, not to provide the truth,” he said. He later told CNN after reading the report: "This is an example of what a horrific cover-up this investigation is."

"Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., led one of the protests in front of the D.C Circuit Court. Earlier, the Massachusetts lawmaker said in a tweet that the report is evidence the GOP is trying to force Kavanaugh's confirmation process through "no matter the cost." "Not even a full week for an FBI investigation. ... This is a complete sham,” Warren said in a tweet. "@SenateMajLdr McConnell said he’d plow Brett Kavanaugh through, and that’s exactly what the GOP is doing — no matter the cost." Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., tweeted on Thursday that President Donald Trump "said he wanted a full background check. What he delivered was a whitewash. An investigation isn't legitimate if dozens of key witnesses are never interviewed. The Senate will be committing gross negligence if it confirms this nominee."

And, It raises more questions than it answers.” He also said the FBI neglected its duty to fully follow up on claims, but he does not believe that the FBI is wholly responsible. “I think that the blame lies with White House that straitjacketed this investigation,” he said."

"Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., who also sits on the Judiciary Committee, said after being briefed on the report that there were "hints of misconduct." "It’s very frustrating that they didn't do a thorough investigation, that they didn't interview all the relevant witnesses, that they didn't interview all the potential eyewitnesses, they didn't interview the corroborating witnesses," Booker said. "I’m actually shocked. I’m actually shocked."

"Sen. Patrick Leahy, D-Vt., also on the committee, said, "The White House obviously limited what they could look at and the White House obviously controlled the process and that raises questions of credibility in my mind."

"Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., another Senate Judiciary Committee member, said, "This so-called investigation leaves a lot more questions than answers." When asked if the report had any new information, she answered, "Nope."

The bureau, however, did not interview Kavanaugh or Ford. That has raised questions from lawmakers and prosecutors like Fran Townsend, who was homeland security adviser to President George W. Bush and served on his administration with Kavanaugh. "I personally don't believe as a prosecutor that you could have a credible and complete investigation without an interview of Dr. Ford," Townsend said Thursday on "CBS This Morning." Townsend, a CBS News senior national security analyst, was one of 84 women who signed a letter supporting Kavanaugh's nomination before the allegations surfaced publicly."

"She said the limited scope of the FBI inquiry hurts the agency's credibility."

Ford, who is a professor in California, was not interviewed by the FBI, her lawyers say. Kavanaugh had not been questioned either, Feinstein said. Ramirez provided a list of around 20 names to the FBI of people who she says either witnessed Kavanaugh's alleged sexual misconduct or heard about it contemporaneously. Her legal team says the FBI did not contact those individuals."

"Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu thanked Haley in a statement for her support of Israel, saying she "led an uncompromising fight against the United Nations' hypocrisy and for truth and justice in our country."

In follow up to the above, here is the tyranny UN Ambassador Nikki Haley is at least partially responsible for. NPR reports:

"Lara Alqasem, a 22-year-old Florida native, landed at Israel's Ben-Gurion Airport last Tuesday, expecting to start her studies in human rights at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Instead, she has spent the past week detained."

"Alqasem, whose father is of Palestinian heritage, was barred from entering the country and accused of supporting a boycott of Israel that was started by Palestinian leaders."

Even if true, tough shit. Called freedom, liberty. A concept no longer understood in Israel or the United States.

"Her mother, Karen Alqasem, told WMNF that "when she went through the gate to try to enter the country they asked where her father — you know she has the Alqasem name — so they asked where does that name come from, where was her father born?"

Who the f--k cares? She's an American citizen, a Florida native, there to study and on a visa.

"She showed the security agents her student visa, her mother said, but they made a call and detained her."

Vis a vis 'her story,' did she? Or, are you no more than a congenital liar like the Trump nazi? Regarding social media accounts, why wouldn't she erase them? To protect herself against idiots like you, sir. Then again, have to question the judgment of this young woman to have any social media accounts at all.

Here's the crux of the matter, true intention of the Israeli aggressor vis a vis this particular young woman:

"Hebrew University Rector Barak Medina told The Washington Post that authorities prevented university representatives from visiting her at the airport on Sunday. "This kind of legislation might actually enhance the tendency to boycott Israel, instead of mitigating it," Medina was reported to have said. "These are a collection of policies that are not only aimed at narrowing freedom of speech but also show the extent to which Israel is not acting like a liberal democracy should."

Welcome. Liberty In Peril has been relaunched at a new URL:
libertyinperil.com. This is a new commercial site hosted in an overseas
country, which unlike our own, does value free speech, Net security,
privacy, equally importantly, despises hackers. Banks too big to fail
should not have the ability to shut down ftp servers on four Liberty In
Peril websites, making upload impossible. -- Simply, because they don't
want the truth of their criminal activity reported to the public.

Should this site not be kept up, running, and fully operational, the
libertyinperil.com domain will be quickly moved to a different host
despite cost and hassle. No more bullsh-t. Criminal complaints will be
prepared and filed against Amanda Wright, Lynn Massey, and the equally
criminal bastards in the Wells Fargo corporate management suite for
egregious deceptive trade practices.

Email notification of local businesses of these practices, has and will,
continue unabated until Wells Fargo accepts responsibility, ceases these

This site has finally been fully uploaded. All links appear to be
properly working. Typos in the rush to get material up have also been
corrected. There will be a few additional changes to be made as time
allows. Including, again, a smart phone-friendly abbreviated version of
each future Newsletter Edition starting with v434 that will be available
in addition to the regular edition.

Hopefully, now, I can finally get back to the business of this
publication, that is exposure of corrupt, abusive, inept, clueless
government lackeys beholden to their corporate masters, rather than
dealing with recalcitrant webhosts. We'll see. With the
libertyinperil.com domain, however, any necessary changes in webhosts will
be easy to make since all links won't have to be changed or deactivated.

The pressure on Wells Fargo will continue unabated. Should they further
interfere with operation of this publication, it will simply provide
additional fodder for criminal complaints to be filed against them.

On 9-22-15, Kingsland Wells Fargo Store Manager Amanda Wright forced
closure of two accounts because for nearly three years this writer has
publicly accused her, her predecessor Lynn Massey, and the Wells Fargo
corporate management suite of engaging in criminal deceptive trade
practices, as well as pressuring, unduly interfering and/or bribing
webhosts to take these websites down.

Apparently, they have successfully managed to unduly influence and/or
bribe the federal Consumer Financial 'Protection' Bureau and Texas
Attorney General Consumer Protection Division as well. Forget? The bank
is considered too big to fail. Considers itself government.

For all practical purposes, that's perversely true. They have money and
resources to buy not only their human chattel, but their bought and paid
for government lackeys. Be interesting to see whether or not the U.S.
Attorney is untouchable, or sadly, similarly capable of being bought.

Immediately after closure of these accounts, the three operational Liberty
In Peril FTP servers were hacked. What that means is that while all three
sites remained operational and accessible to readers, new material could
not be uploaded. This continues to date.

Worse, 'free' accounts on all three 'free' webhosts conveniently no longer
provide technical control panel support. Clearly, they don't want to know
there are problems. Have managed, however, to find other ways to contact
webhost management and have done precisely that.

Will take a criminal investigation to determine who hacked the sites,
however. Most likely, Wells Fargo had a hand in it. Certainly, have the
resources. Highly, unlikely the Llano County Sheriff's Office was
involved. Hard to believe they would be that stupid. The Bank, however,
has nothing to lose. Owns its government lackeys. The Sheriff and his
outrageously corrupt and abusive goons, however, can expect further

The effort to expose Wells Fargo egregious deceptive trade practices continues. Several years ago to determinedly apply renewed pressure on our truly worthless, egregiously self-serving Texas Attorney General, now Governor, an excoriating email was sent to the bastard. Copies of which were also passed on to both offending Wells Fargo officers. A copy was also sent to the Davis campaign and others at the time.

Voters did have a right to know as Attorney General, the GOP candidate for Governor apparently selectively investigated, or not, bona fide complaints filed by citizens against banks too big to fail. Possibly, Wells Fargo could have lined his pockets in some fashion. That has yet to be determined.

The bastard and his office, no matter what, failed to respond to the complaint originally snail mailed several years ago. This material, figuratively targeting Wells Fargo and the governor 'wannabe' now Governor, had been posted and can be found by scrolling all the way down and clicking on the links well below. ... Governor? Wells Fargo bribe you to look the other way?

Will continue to do all I can to publicly expose this to all, both in this publication and elsewhere. Have done precisely that with the following email sent to Bobby Preston, Bath & Kitchen Remodeling, Kingsland, TX. A copy of it was also sent to Wells Fargo officer Amanda Wright. She has, indeed, been promoted branch manager. Reverse Darwinism. Survival of the unfittest.

This young woman has indeed been rewarded by the Wells Fargo corporate management suite for engaging in criminal deceptive trade practices and her undying loyalty to her corporate masters. Click here for a most interesting conversation between JP2 Linda Ballard and LCRA Communications Supervisor Mitch Hibbs who at the time was investigating a complaint made by the Henderson family against the 'judge.' The recording had been made by Hibbs and provided by Phyllis Henderson who had gotten it through an open records request. During the course of the recording you will hear the 'judge' make a terroristic threat against the Henderson family which the investigator laughingly shrugged off as a joke.

Seems former LCRA Ranger Lance Bilski, stepson of Llano County Sheriff Bill Blackburn, had been harassing the Henderson family regarding their tire business, Henderson Tire. Worse? There are unsubstantiated allegations, that although very much attached, Bilski may have indeed engaged in improprieties, that is, egregiously unprofessional conduct relevant to the Henderson complaint. All this had been covered in Newsletter Text V346.
