"One day after a storm tore through the Northeast, covering New Jersey roadways with snow, a Jersey City, New Jersey, police lieutenant was hit and killed while helping a motorist on his way to work, police said. Lt. Christopher Robateau -- a more than 20-year veteran -- was in his vehicle this morning when he was hit by a truck, Jersey City Police Chief Michael Kelly said. Robateau stepped out to help the truck driver, and that's when he was struck and killed by another vehicle, Kelly said. Robateau died a "hero," Kelly said at a news conference. "His instincts are always to help and save others and that is what he was doing when he was struck." ABC station WABC-TV in New York said the driver that hit the lieutenant on the New Jersey Turnpike in Newark stopped at the scene and is cooperating."

"Kelly said Robateau, a father, had "rare combination" of personal and professional skills and was "truly a role model." He was "one of our most active police officers" from the time he entered the department in 1994 and "won almost every award that a police officer could win," Kelly said. Robateau "came to work every day and worked his hardest to make sure citizens of this city were safe." He was also "an extraordinary family man," Kelly said. "Here's an active police officer who put many, many hours in beyond his eight-hour work tour, and then went home to be an unbelievable father."

In the 911 call, "dispatchers could hear screaming and a scuffle taking place," the sheriff's office said. Wake up, Sheriff. Again, where is dashcam video of the killing of Jeffrey Gray Wise, 52, of Austin by DPS and the Llano County Sheriff's Office? Ninety weeks, now. A goddamned disgrace. Why are you still sitting on this information? What are you hiding, Sheriff? What is the identity of the officers who killed Wise? Too gutless to release this information to the public that pays your salary and that of your goons? Reportedly, there were three officers involved in the shooting.

Who are they, Sheriff? Their past history? An ongoing investigation remains a lame bullshit excuse. How can you and your goons be trusted when you refuse to disclose information? Ninety weeks. Especially, your egregious failure to disclose the identity of the officers who pulled the trigger. To cover your sorry ass, Sheriff? Those of your thugs? The people have a right to know what happened, how it went down. You don't understand that, Sheriff? Sadly, clearly, you answer to no one. Including taxpayers. Especially, taxpayers.

It's time the public be fully informed. -- Know what we're dealing with here and how 'law' 'enforcement' operates in this hell hole County. The Sheriff seems to have no clue the people who pay him and his goons are entitled to know whom is killing whom and why. This shit always seems to be swept under the carpet. Ignored. Worse, the standards imposed by sheriff's offices statewide with the exception of metropolitan counties are well below those of DPS and city police departments. Why? The public should understand Llano County authorities have it all sewn up. Did you know the Texas Attorney General does not have the authority to investigate and prosecute County authorities on his own? The District Attorney has to call for an investigation by the Texas Rangers. Then, the State can prosecute if it so chooses.

Interestingly, the former Sheriff and District Attorney were reportedly forced to retire after an outrageous scandal involving a drunk driving police officer from out of town. Including special treatment of the drunken son of a bitch that no other citizen caught doing the same would have been afforded. An honest, honorable Llano County Deputy suffered the consequences. Amazing how law enforcement pisses and moans about how many officers are killed on the job each year. Nowhere, however, near the number they kill while on duty. The Washington Post reports:

"For the third year in a row, police nationwide shot and killed nearly 1,000 people, a grim annual tally that has persisted despite widespread public scrutiny of officers’ use of fatal force. Police fatally shot 987 people last year, or two dozen more than they killed in 2016, according to an ongoing Washington Post database project that tracks the fatal shootings. Since 2015, The Post has logged the details of 2,945 shooting deaths, culled from local news coverage, public records and social-media reports."

Why isn't a centralized nation-wide tally required by law? Conducted by a federal agency such as the FBI.

"While many of the year-to-year patterns remain consistent, the number of unarmed black males killed in 2017 declined from two years ago. Last year, police killed 19, a figure tracking closely with the 17 killed in 2016. In 2015, police shot and killed 36 unarmed black males. Experts said they are uncertain why the annual total shows little fluctuation — the number for 2017 is almost identical to the 995 killed by police in 2015. Some believe the tally may correspond to the number of times police encounter people, an outcome of statistical probability. Other experts are exploring whether the number tracks with overall violence in American society."

If such an annual census was required by federal law, we'd know precisely how many died at the hands of law enforcement. Not all police agencies report death statistics to the FBI. Why not?

“The numbers indicate that this is not a trend, but a robust measure of these shootings,” said Geoff Alpert, a criminologist at the University of South Carolina who studies police use of force. “We now have information on almost 3,000 shootings, and we can start looking to provide the public with a better understanding of fatal officer-involved shootings.”

Not good enough. Precise numbers need to be reported nation-wide to a federal agency so the public knows exactly how well-served it is or isn't by law enforcement.

"National scrutiny of shootings by police began after an unarmed black teenager from a suburb of St. Louis was fatally shot by a white police officer in August 2014. The death of 18-year-old Michael Brown sparked widespread protests, prompted a White House commission to call for reforms, galvanized the Black Lives Matter movement and led many police agencies across the nation to examine their use of deadly force."

Nowhere near good enough. We need far better centralized data collection required by law, far more accurate resultant statistics.

"The attention may have helped police reduce the number of unarmed people shot and killed each year, according to interviews with experts and police departments. Officers fatally shot 94 unarmed people in 2015, but that number has been lower in the past two years, with 51 killed in 2016 and 68 in 2017."

With no central reliable database and no strict reporting requirement, the above statistics may not be accurate.

“The national spotlight on this issue has made officers more cautious in unarmed situations,” said Chuck Wexler, the executive director of the Police Executive Research Forum, a Washington-based think tank. Wexler also said that the training that his group developed for dozens of departments to de-escalate police encounters with civilians may be having an impact."

Highly questionable. Egregious examples in this publication week after week, month after month, year after year scream otherwise.

“We are giving officers more options like slowing the situation down and using time and distance to gain a tactical advantage,” he said."

Certainly, doesn't seem to be happening here in Nazi Llano County, right, Sheriff?

"While the number of black males — armed and unarmed — who have been killed has fallen, black males continue to be shot at disproportionately high rates, the data shows."

So what else is new? With incomplete data, the statistics may be even worse than currently estimated.

"Black males accounted for 22 percent of all people shot and killed in 2017, yet they are 6 percent of the total population. White males accounted for 44 percent of all fatal police shootings, and Hispanic males accounted for 18 percent."

More indication racism, bigotry continue to be a systemic cancer in law enforcement.

"Mental health again played an outsize role in the shootings: 236 people, or nearly 1 in 4 of those shot, were described as experiencing some form of mental distress at the time of the encounter."

Better training, vetting of officers would likely reduce these numbers. -- So would real-time consultation with a mental health professional on call during these incidents as some departments are now attempting. Certainly, a step in the right direction.

While The Post indeed does the best it can to collect these statistics, it is no substitute for centralized data collection required by federal law. Both major political parties remain derelict in their failure to demand better.

"A white Ohio police officer who fatally shot a black man in a Walmart store says he believed he faced an "imminent threat," although he acknowledges he never saw the man point what turned out to be an air rifle or threaten anyone."

"Beavercreek officer police officer Sean Williams made his statements during a deposition in a federal lawsuit filed by the family of John Crawford III. Crawford, 22, was killed Aug. 5, 2014, after police responded to a 911 call about someone waving a rifle in a store in Beavercreek, a Dayton suburb. The Dayton Daily News reports in Thursday editions that depositions show police relied on the lone 911 caller, who said a man had a rifle."

"The civil case is scheduled for trial next month. Crawford's relatives sued Beavercreek police and Arkansas-based Walmart, alleging negligence and civil rights violations. Police and Walmart have denied the allegations."

"The killing of Crawford is among a series of fatal police shootings of black men across the United States that have raised attention during the last four years to how police deal with black people. A special grand jury and then a federal investigation concluded without any charges in Crawford's death. Officer Williams and police Sgt. David Darkow have said Crawford refused to respond to commands. The Daily News says both officers said during their civil depositions that they didn't realize Crawford was talking on his cellphone and didn't know if he heard their commands."

Jesus Christ. Their victim did not point the air rifle at either officer. Why was he shot? Clearly, a 'shoot first, ask questions later' mentality. ... "Williams said he didn't observe anyone running, screaming or in pain and didn't hear or smell gunfire. But he and Darkow both said there was a perceived threat."

"Crawford family attorneys Michael Wright and Dennis Mulvihill said the officers' depositions have made it "even more clear to the Crawford family that John never should have been shot and killed."

In follow up to the last edition, law enforcement cannot seem to get its act together. NBC News reports:

"One of two suspects arrested in connection with the brutal murders last week of a mother, two of her children and her female partner in upstate New York was "acquainted" with one of the victims, police said Saturday. Troy police Capt. Daniel DeWolf said investigators were still searching for a motive for the killings, and didn't specify which of the suspects — James White, 38, and Justin Mann, 24 — knew which victim or their exact relationship. Both men, from nearby Schenectady, were apprehended Friday night and arraigned Saturday on one count of first-degree murder and four counts of second-degree murder. They pleaded not guilty."

Credit certainly has to be accorded officers for quickly making an arrest if in fact they got the right guys. Situation, far more complicated than what appears at first blush, however.

"Police did not detail how they caught the suspects, and a family member of one of the victims told NBC News that she had never heard of the men and knew no reason why the women and children would be targeted. "Everything was fine. This is why it's so puzzling to me," said Sharonda Bennett, who spoke with her first cousin, Brandi Mells, two days before her death. Inside the women's Troy home a day after Christmas, police found the bodies of Mells, 22, Shanta Myers, 36, and Myers' 11-year-old son, Jeremiah, and 5-year-old daughter, Shanise. Myers' 15-year-old son, Isaiah Smith, was out of town on a retreat at the time of the murders."

"At a news conference Saturday, DeWolf confirmed that the victims were killed late in the evening on Dec. 21, but their bodies weren't found until Dec. 26. The reason for the lag wasn't clear. DeWolf added that Mann had been on parole and that both he and White have a criminal history."

"The men were taken into custody "without incident" and were being held in the Rensselaer County Jail. A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Jan. 4. "We feel confident at this point that there will be no further arrests, but it is certainly open as we continue" the investigation, Troy Police Chief John Tedesco told reporters. Police previously declined to discuss details of the crime scene, but law enforcement sources told the Albany Times Union that the victims were bound and their throats were slit. "After being in this business for almost 42 years I can't describe the savagery of a person like this," Tedesco said earlier this week as police searched for those responsible."

"A new charge was filed in the case of a quadruple murder in upstate New York, giving prosecutors more time to amass evidence against the two men charged with killing a mother, her two children and her girlfriend. James White and Justin Mann were charged last week with one count of first-degree murder and four counts of second-degree murder in connection with the deaths of a mother, her two children and her girlfriend in their Troy apartment.

"That gave prosecutors six days to either secure an indictment by grand jury, outline their case at a preliminary hearing or let the defendants go. When Thursday rolled around, there was no indictment, and in an unexpected turn of events, the preliminary hearing was called off when the Rensselaer County District Attorney's office announced a new charge had been filed against White. This complaint shows a new count of first-degree murder for allegedly killing 11-year-old Jeremiah Myers in the commission of a burglary. It means the DA has another six days to get an indictment against White or present its evidence in open court; Mann is being held on a parole violation. Mann's attorney, Joe Ahearn, told NBC News that the last-minute bid for more time suggests the case is weak."

Police and prosecutors may have been too quick. Not gotten their ducks in a row, -- so to speak.

"At this point, if the DA has sufficient, admissible evidence, they would have presented it to the grand jury," Ahearn said, adding that he "has never seen this happen in the 21 years I have been practicing." A spokesman for the DA disputed that the case was in trouble but would not discuss why prosecutors needed more time. White's attorney could not be reached for comment."

"Troy police have still not disclosed a possible motive for the horrific crime. White has a previous conviction for manslaughter while Mann served time for robbery. Investigators have said only that one of the suspects knew one of the victims, who were bound and knifed to death five days before their bodies were discovered."

Rush to judgment? We'll see. Hopefully, not. If not, and they've got the wrong guys, the killer or killers roam free.

"The former leader of a specialized unit of Baltimore's police force will plead guilty in a corruption case. The Baltimore Sun reports Wednesday that former Sgt. Wayne Jenkins will enter a guilty plea Friday in federal court in Baltimore. The Sun says his lawyer confirmed the plea, but wouldn't specify what guilty counts to which Jenkins plans to plead."

Disgraced himself, the badge, and the oath he falsely swore. Betrayed the public, only to target them and become their predator:

"Jenkins is among the group of detectives charged in a sweeping federal indictment with stealing from people they falsely accused. The elite unit was tasked with getting illegal guns off the streets of Baltimore, but federal prosecutors say they used their position to detain people on false pretenses, steal their money, fake police reports, lie to investigators, and defraud their department."

Think any common criminal has done more lasting damage to the public and their confidence in law enforcement than a rogue officer? Worse, this piece of crap and his cohorts may have been involved in the murder of a fellow cop who was due to testify against them before a grand jury:

"Jenkins' plea will make him sixth Baltimore officer charged in the case to plead guilty. His trial was scheduled to being on Jan. 22. In additional charges announced last month, Jenkins was accused of duping a fellow officer into discovering a cache of heroin he planted in a car during a 2010 arrest. The duped officer was identified by Baltimore Police Commissioner Kevin Davis as Sean Suiter, who was fatally shot in the head with his own gun in November while probing a triple homicide in a particularly rough West Baltimore neighborhood. Davis said Suiter was "not involved in any way, shape or form" in the deception and said Jenkins "was able to operate with impunity on this police department for far too long." Suiter was scheduled to testify in the federal corruption case a day after he was killed."

"Six current and former inmates who were pregnant at Santa Rita Jail leveled accusations of abuse against guards in a lawsuit filed in California. According to CBS San Francisco, the suit alleges that Alameda County sheriff's deputies who worked as guards at the jail mistreated the women while they were pregnant in custody."

"In some cases, the guards allegedly coerced them to have abortions. Other accusations involve abusive treatment, which led the women to have miscarriages. In one incident, the suit alleges, an inmate was left to give birth alone in solitary confinement."

"The suit also claims that female inmates are subject to more restrictions and harsher treatment than male prisoners. "Christina Zepeda is one of six women suing the sheriff's department. She said she miscarried in August during her first week of lockup due to rough transport to the jail, and lack of rest and nutritious food. "I had no complications prior to this," said Zepeda. "Even after everything that happened, I asked to speak to someone for counseling and everything. It even took two months for them to see me for that."

"An Arizona man who was arrested, transported cross-country and jailed for a robbery that he didn't commit filed a lawsuit Thursday against the Iowa county and prosecutor responsible for charging him. Joseph McBride, 23, spent two months in custody after authorities arrested him at his Phoenix apartment on Aug. 24. McBride was among three people charged for a Jan. 1, 2017, home invasion in his former hometown of Cedar Rapids, Iowa — even though he had proof he was 1,500 miles (2415 kilometers) away and investigators never spoke with him before his arrest."

"McBride's lawsuit details a shoddy investigation by the Cedar Rapids Police Department that implicated McBride based on the mentally ill victim's "own investigation," which relied on Facebook photos. It alleges that the complaint signed by Linn County Attorney Jerry Vander Sanden falsely contended the victim "positively identified" McBride as a suspect and that police had "phone records and social media" suggesting he conspired with the other two suspects."

"Vander Sanden said Thursday the charging decision was based on a "good-faith belief that the victim was correct in the identification" of McBride and that prosecutors acted promptly to release him when his alibi checked out."

The 28-year veteran of the force was charged last year with falsely telling Transportation Security Administration officials that he was on official police business and was authorized to carry his firearm. Prosecutors allege he flew armed on about 28 trips from Boston's Logan International Airport."

"A Connecticut police detective caught on camera using racial slurs while being arrested on a drunken driving charge has been fired, his department announced. Robert Lanza, 44, of Wolcott, was fired Monday, Hartford Deputy Police Chief Brian Foley said."

What took so long, Chief? Why hasn't this case dating back to August been fully adjudicated? -- Both departments couldn't promptly decide what to do with the bastard?

"The 12-year veteran was found by internal affairs investigators to have violated the department's code of conduct, specifically conduct unbecoming an officer, Foley said. His dismissal came after a disciplinary hearing where police "concluded that termination is the only appropriate course of action," reports CBS affiliate WFSB. "These actions were egregious, deplorable and completely unacceptable for a Hartford police officer, and are grounds for termination even before considering their present and future detrimental effect upon the operations of the Hartford Police Department," Foley said."

Both police departments were well aware of this back in August. Why have you continued to protect and coddle the bastard? Had it been an ordinary citizen, his treatment would have been far different.

"Lanza was arrested in Plainville in August after his car was reportedly spotted swerving and weaving."

"Video and audio of the arrest obtained by WFSB show Lanza using several racial slurs and warning the Plainville officers arresting him not to come to Hartford. He was argumentative, refused field sobriety tests, and at one point asked the officers to drive him home because, "That's what we do, we take care of each other." "I know the game. I got money. I'm a cop," Lanza says in video released on Monday, the station reports."

Imagine being in this situation as the former wife of a police chief caught in a sting. CBS News reports:

"State prosecutors are accusing the police chief in a small Pennsylvania town of trying to solicit sex online from an undercover agent posing as a 14-year-old girl. The attorney general's office on Friday arrested 40-year-old Leechburg Police Chief Michael W. Diebold at a spot in Westmoreland County where he had allegedly hoped to meet up with the girl. Prosecutors say he's charged with two felonies: unlawful contact with a minor and criminal attempt to commit involuntary deviate sexual intercourse. A telephone message left at Diebold's home wasn't immediately returned. An officer answering the Leechburg Police phone says he learned of the arrest late Friday from news reporters."

Imagine being an officer caught blindsided with this information. Worse? Get this:

"They say God will never give you more than you can handle, but he did this time.

He was the first man ever in my life who never made me question, never gave me a gut feeling, never a bad instinct or sign and we were even in the process of planning to extend our family.

On the other hand, we are dealing with the raw emotions of having someone you loved and admired be charged with committing a terrible crime.

"The couple got married last July, 12 weeks after their son, Kyle, was born."

"A Pennsylvania police chief arrested in a child sex sting operation identified himself as a “kutecop4you” in an online ad and allegedly said “everyone has to have a first time” when the phony school girl he was corresponding with told him she was only 14-years-old. “You will just have to get me naked tomorrow,” Michael William Diebold, who runs the three-man Leechburg Police Department, wrote, according to a criminal complaint obtained Monday by NBC News. “I’m not teasing.”

"But the teenager was really a special agent for the state Attorney General’s office named Daniel Block. Now Diebold, who became a local celebrity and the object of great sympathy last year after losing his lower left arm in a fireworks accident, is charged with unlawful contact with a minor and other offenses and was being held of $500,000 bond at the Westmoreland County Prison in Greensburg, Pennsylvania."

“This case is particularly heinous because the perpetrator is a public official, sworn to serve and protect the community,” Attorney General Josh Shapiro said. “We have a zero tolerance policy for the sexual abuse of children and my office will prosecute any offender to the fullest extent of the law, no matter who they are.”

"Investigators zeroed-in on Diebold on September 15 after he allegedly posted an ad spelling out in no uncertain terms what kind of sex he was looking for — and clearly identified himself as a cop. “I am a dom male that is also employed as a full time police officer,” the ad read. “I hope that doesn’t scare you off.” Diebold, 40, described himself in the ad as “white, straight, good looking, clean,” said he was disease free as well as “mentally stable and fun.”

"Then on Dec. 29, Diebold allegedly sent Block an image of what appeared to be a picture of his erect penis hidden by jeans. Police were waiting when Diebold went to meet the fictional girl."

"There was no immediate response from city officials in Leechburg, a borough of about 2,000 people some 35 miles northeast of Pittsburgh, about whether Diebold is still on the payroll . But he remains the chief of the police on the municipal web site. "A Louisiana teacher questioned whether the school's superintendent should receive a raise. Then, she was ushered out of a school board meeting and handcuffed. The dramatic arrest on Monday – which was caught on video – has drawn outrage in the U.S. and beyond. The Vermilion Parish school board offices were locked down on Tuesday after receiving threats, board president Anthony Fontana told The Advertiser. The Vermilion Parish teacher, Deyshia Hargrave, will not face charges. "I have reviewed the video and I am not going to approve any charges against the teacher," Ike Funderburk, Abbeville's city attorney, told KATC. "I have talked with the attorney for the school board, they do not wish to pursue any charges against the teacher."

"Since it was posted to YouTube on Monday, the video has been viewed more than 1.7 million times. During a public comment period at the board meeting, Hargrave stood up and voiced opposition to superintendent Jerome Puyau receiving a raise. "I have a serious issue with a superintendent or any person in a position of leadership getting any type of raise," she said calmly. "It's absurd that we're even considering giving someone a raise when these teachers are working this hard and not getting a dime." The board then vote to approve the raise for Puyau, reportedly moving his salary from around $110,000 to more than $140,000. At that point, Hargrave addressed the room again. Navarro found that the prosecution had committed "flagrant misconduct" by withholding evidence that could have supported the defendants' case. The record month was in August, with 3,133 searches of electronic devices. CBP is authorized to search any device of any international traveler -- both U.S. citizen and non-citizen -- as they leave or enter the United States, similar to a bag search. About 80 percent of searches are of non-U.S. citizens. Only diplomats are exempt."

No warrant required to search data on an electronic device under the above circumstances. Not in a goddamned fascist police-state, soon to become the Trump nazi's Fourth Reich.

"CBP also released an updated policy directive this week, which provided clarified guidance and standard operating procedures for searching, reviewing and retaining information found on these devices. The directive clarifies that only data found on the physical device at the time of travel can be reviewed by customs officials. He replied, "They're not talking about trying to remove him from office. They are wondering what's going to happen. The people in the White House are like everybody else in the country: 'What's going to happen here? We don't know from day to day.' That's certainly up to Mueller and what comes of his investigation. To say nothing of the reaction in Congress.

Welcome. Liberty In Peril has been relaunched at a new URL:
libertyinperil.com. This is a new commercial site hosted in an overseas
country, which unlike our own, does value free speech, Net security,
privacy, equally importantly, despises hackers. Banks too big to fail
should not have the ability to shut down ftp servers on four Liberty In
Peril websites, making upload impossible. -- Simply, because they don't
want the truth of their criminal activity reported to the public.

Should this site not be kept up, running, and fully operational, the
libertyinperil.com domain will be quickly moved to a different host
despite cost and hassle. No more bullsh-t. Criminal complaints will be
prepared and filed against Amanda Wright, Lynn Massey, and the equally
criminal bastards in the Wells Fargo corporate management suite for
egregious deceptive trade practices.

Email notification of local businesses of these practices, has and will,
continue unabated until Wells Fargo accepts responsibility, ceases these
practices, and finally makes it right. During the last several weeks
after the ftp servers were hacked, a blizzard of these emails was sent to
local businesses to keep intense pressure on the criminal bastards at
Wells Fargo. Copies of these emails were sent to bank officials. They
have been posted in this publication. ... We're already up to Salvo 74, --
and counting.

In addition, all new Newsletter Editions will feature an
available abbreviated version, smart phone friendly, that can be accessed
by clicking on the icon. Will supplement the regular format of this
publication. This is being done because so many of you access this
publication with smart phones and other devices with small screens.

This site has finally been fully uploaded. All links appear to be
properly working. Typos in the rush to get material up have also been
corrected. There will be a few additional changes to be made as time
allows. Including, again, a smart phone-friendly abbreviated version of
each future Newsletter Edition starting with v434 that will be available
in addition to the regular edition.

Hopefully, now, I can finally get back to the business of this
publication, that is exposure of corrupt, abusive, inept, clueless
government lackeys beholden to their corporate masters, rather than
dealing with recalcitrant webhosts. We'll see. With the
libertyinperil.com domain, however, any necessary changes in webhosts will
be easy to make since all links won't have to be changed or deactivated.

The pressure on Wells Fargo will continue unabated. Should they further
interfere with operation of this publication, it will simply provide
additional fodder for criminal complaints to be filed against them.

On 9-22-15, Kingsland Wells Fargo Store Manager Amanda Wright forced
closure of two accounts because for nearly three years this writer has
publicly accused her, her predecessor Lynn Massey, and the Wells Fargo
corporate management suite of engaging in criminal deceptive trade
practices, as well as pressuring, unduly interfering and/or bribing
webhosts to take these websites down.

Apparently, they have successfully managed to unduly influence and/or
bribe the federal Consumer Financial 'Protection' Bureau and Texas
Attorney General Consumer Protection Division as well. Forget? The bank
is considered too big to fail. Considers itself government.

For all practical purposes, that's perversely true. They have money and
resources to buy not only their human chattel, but their bought and paid
for government lackeys. Be interesting to see whether or not the U.S.
Attorney is untouchable, or sadly, similarly capable of being bought.

Immediately after closure of these accounts, the three operational Liberty
In Peril FTP servers were hacked. What that means is that while all three
sites remained operational and accessible to readers, new material could
not be uploaded. This continues to date.

Worse, 'free' accounts on all three 'free' webhosts conveniently no longer
provide technical control panel support. Clearly, they don't want to know
there are problems. Have managed, however, to find other ways to contact
webhost management and have done precisely that.

Will take a criminal investigation to determine who hacked the sites,
however. Most likely, Wells Fargo had a hand in it. Certainly, have the
resources. Highly, unlikely the Llano County Sheriff's Office was
involved. Hard to believe they would be that stupid. The Bank, however,
has nothing to lose. Owns its government lackeys. The Sheriff and his
outrageously corrupt and abusive goons, however, can expect further
exposure in this publication. Should you have information regarding this

The effort to expose Wells Fargo egregious deceptive trade practices continues. Several years ago to determinedly apply renewed pressure on our truly worthless, egregiously self-serving Texas Attorney General, now Governor, an excoriating email was sent to the bastard. Copies of which were also passed on to both offending Wells Fargo officers. A copy was also sent to the Davis campaign and others at the time.

Voters did have a right to know as Attorney General, the GOP candidate for Governor apparently selectively investigated, or not, bona fide complaints filed by citizens against banks too big to fail. Possibly, Wells Fargo could have lined his pockets in some fashion. That has yet to be determined.

The bastard and his office, no matter what, failed to respond to the complaint originally snail mailed several years ago. This material, figuratively targeting Wells Fargo and the governor 'wannabe' now Governor, had been posted and can be found by scrolling all the way down and clicking on the links well below. ... Governor? Wells Fargo bribe you to look the other way?

Will continue to do all I can to publicly expose this to all, both in this publication and elsewhere. Have done precisely that with the following email sent to Sarah Spillman, Office Administrator, Lake Shores Church, Marble Falls, TX. A copy of it was also sent to Wells Fargo officer Amanda Wright. She has, indeed, been promoted branch manager. Reverse Darwinism. Survival of the unfittest.

This young woman has indeed been rewarded by the Wells Fargo corporate management suite for engaging in criminal deceptive trade practices and her undying loyalty to her corporate masters. The process to update those already informed of this fiasco has finally been completed. This latest material can be found by clicking on Wells Fargo Deceptive Trade Practices Salvo 188, 1-12-18 .

The name of this publication was changed some ten years ago from The Llano Ledger to Liberty In Peril. The reason? Simple. Cowardly failure of this community to stand up to tyranny that has only exponentially worsened the last decade. Clearly, demonstrated as well by the cowardly failure of businesses to financially support this publication. Either through advertising or other financial support. Too afraid doing so would enrage the bastards who run and own this hellhole County.

-- Despite the fact these businesses were, and are, being egregiously f--ked by these very same bastards. Tough, isn't it? Impossible to entertain any sympathy for cowardice, however. Especially in view of the fact this writer has placed himself in great jeopardy taking on these corrupt, abusive, inept criminal bastards. Alone.

Exactly, why you see no investigative material highly critical of these sons of bitches in other local rags. Sadly, cowardly, all advertising income immediately dries up. Consequently, the bastards continue their criminal chicanery with impunity. On a rampage. Thus, you get what you truly deserve. Always. Precisely, why this earlier name change to Liberty In Peril remains appropriate. -- Despite the fact this writer has not yet left the area. Ten years after originally intending to do so. Thirty years in this goddamned godforsaken hellhole.

This writer, then and now, remains primarily interested in state, federal, and international issues. Another reason for this publication name change. Despite the fact I stupidly cluelessly remain here, local issues mustbe addressed. Can't be ignored. That's where you come in dear readers. Have the courage to inform this writer of local abuse, corruption, ineptness you are aware of, have personally experienced.

... Information these criminal bastards do all they can to conceal, cover up. Otherwise, how can they effectively sustain the charade and intended result? Loot confiscation through a boot heel on the throat of the citizenry.

The only way, short of an unwanted dreaded second American revolution, to force badly-needed change is to expose all this to the light of day. These bastards are beginning to understand they have a problem. No question, the growing rage of those they've abused, looted, egregiously f--ked. It's time to stand up. Expose this corruption to glaring sunlight. Otherwise, as fools, cowards, you will remain under their thumb. From the loftiest business owner to those on the bottom of the food chain. Wake up. Grow a pair.

Still don't think that likely to happen. After all, you're bought and paid for. Owned. Not only by your government masters, but their masters. The corporate management suite. Your employers. Think not? Wake up. You're human chattel. Corporate-owned, bought and paid for. Precisely, why you cowardly, compliantly, literally bare your asses for corporate inspection by the company doctor. Willingly, compliantly, cowardly piss in a cup under employer supervision. To sit in front of a keyboard or stock shelves all day. You have no control of your lives. You're owned. Forget? For a measly salary, no job security, reduced to no benefits. At a time of record corporate profits and cash reserves.

Then, you gallingly complain about the oppression as you tolerate egregious theft of your labor. Not only by your corporate masters, but their bought and paid for government lackeys. Too cowardly to stand up, allow disclosure of your identity when you rightfully complain to this publication of being mercilessly f--ked. Some of you falsely arrested, criminally assaulted, bogusly fined for 'offenses' you did not commit. To line County coffers. Keep the peasants in line and under control. A fascist police-state. Nazi America.

Again, yet another reason why this publication is called Liberty In Peril. Most galling? Nothing changes if you fail to step up and challenge corrupt, abusive, inept authority. Too afraid, cowardly compliant to let the bastards knowwho you are. Did it ever occur to the cowards out there if the identity of the accuser is kept under wraps the bastards will falsely claim it's all made up by this publication? Thus, conveniently killing all credibility. Wake up.

Cowardice is unbecoming, unworthy of our formerly great country. Insult to injury? There are the hopelessly deranged who believe the chicanery reported here to be manufactured anyway. No matter the effort. No matter the research. No matter the proof. Wake up. This writer cannot do it alone. Snowball's chance in hell. Then again, cowardice, delusion is always amply, justly rewarded. Always. You continue to 'enjoy' the very best government money can buy. Literally.

Cannot do it alone. Impossible. Not sustainable. This publication needs your financial and material support. Both. Time to step up.

Click herefor a most interesting conversation between JP2 Linda Ballard and LCRA Communications Supervisor Mitch Hibbs who at the time was investigating a complaint made by the Henderson family against the 'judge.' The recording had been made by Hibbs and provided by Phyllis Henderson who had gotten it through an open records request. During the course of the recording you will hear the 'judge' make a terroristic threat against the Henderson family which the investigator laughingly shrugged off as a joke.

Seems former LCRA Ranger Lance Bilski, stepson of Llano County Sheriff Bill Blackburn, had been harassing the Henderson family regarding their tire business, Henderson Tire. Worse? There are unsubstantiated allegations, that although very much attached, Bilski may have indeed engaged in improprieties, that is, egregiously unprofessional conduct relevant to the Henderson complaint. All this had been covered in Newsletter Text V346.
