Eleven years ago a great cop saved the life of a choking baby. Fox11News reports:

"In a frame, on a table, inside the Kaukauna Police Department [Wisconsin], sits a newspaper article about an officer who saved the life of a choking baby. That officer was Charlie Vosters, and the baby was 10-month-old Zeke Tomlin. "I got the call for an infant choking. I arrived on scene to mom coming out of the door, kind of in a panic. I ran up to her and she basically threw her child at me, almost, and told me he's choking," said Charlie Vosters."

"Vosters' instincts kicked in. "I held my forearm out, flipped him over onto my forearm, gave him a few back blows and after that, Holly -- mom -- ended up saying, 'Wait, I see something,' and pulled out a pink Barbie shoe," Vosters said."

"Tomlin was too young at the time to remember what happened, but his parents made sure he knew the story. "Especially my mom. She told it to me a lot over and over and I found out that I was in the newspaper and I thought it was pretty cool when I was little. I still do think it's cool," said Zeke Tomlin."

"Fast-forward 11 years and one of Tomlin's assignments for music class was to write a story about a hero. "I chose Officer Vosters," Tomlin said. He read his story during his music concert Thursday night. Vosters also attended the concert. "That moment got me. It was one of those where I started to tear up a little bit along with a lot of other people," Vosters said."

The parents must be given great credit to have made certain this kid knew what happened all those years before and how critical this officer was at the time of such a near tragedy.

"He hugged Tomlin and they even took a photo, to remember the new moment. "First word I said was thank you," Tomlin said."

Think this kid doesn't have a great future ahead? Certainly, at such a tender age, has an appreciation for what is truly important that many of his elders lack.

"It was one of those moments where, 'Wow, I really did make an impact on somebody's life and no matter how young they are, the word will get passed along and it'll come around full circle,"' Vosters said."

Wake up, Sheriff. Again, where is dashcam video of the killing of Jeffrey Gray Wise, 52, of Austin by DPS and the Llano County Sheriff's Office? Fifty-four weeks, now. A goddamned disgrace. Why are you still sitting on this information? What are you hiding, Sheriff? What is the identity of the officers who killed Wise? Too gutless to release this information to the public that pays your salary and that of your goons? Reportedly, there were three officers involved in the shooting.

Who are they, Sheriff? Their past history? An ongoing investigation remains a lame bullshit excuse. How can you and your goons be trusted when you refuse to disclose information? Fifty-four weeks. Especially, your egregious failure to disclose the identity of the officers who pulled the trigger. To cover your sorry ass, Sheriff? Those of your thugs? The Sheriff seems to have no clue the people who pay him and his goons are entitled to know whom is killing whom and why. This shit always seems to be swept under the carpet. Ignored. Would you believe the last time the Sheriff's Office happened to be 'audited' during the Garrett regime, reportedly, auditors couldn't figure out what went where and why? Yet, surprise, surprise. The public should understand Llano County authorities have it all sewn up. Did you know the Texas Attorney General does not have the authority to investigate and prosecute County authorities on his own? The District Attorney has to call for an investigation by the Texas Rangers. Then, the State can prosecute if it so chooses.

Consequently? Guess what? Nothing will happen. Nothing ever does. The goddamned corruption continues unabated until you, the public, pressure authorities. Interestingly, the former Sheriff and District Attorney were reportedly forced to retire after an outrageous scandal involving a drunk driving police officer from out of town. Including special treatment of the drunken son of a bitch that no other citizen caught doing the same would have been afforded. An honest, honorable Llano County Deputy suffered the consequences. Forget? Great officers do not last in this hell hole County. ... Right, Sheriff? TL? "Sonny Boy?" Madam County Attorney?

"One of two Georgia police officers captured on video kicking and hitting a man during a traffic stop turned himself in Thursday as officials gave the other just a few more hours to surrender."

Why not treat these officers as any other citizen would have been treated under similar circumstances? Why weren't they arrested at home, or wherever else they could have been found, including on the street? These two jackbooted thugs are accused of felonies yet receive special treatment? Allowed to get their affairs in order? Goddamned bullshit. Forget? The ordinary peasant receives no accommodation at all. Gets his ass hauled to jail.

"Sgt. Mike Bongiovanni walked into the Gwinnett County Jail Thursday morning on charges of battery and violation of oath of office – a felony – alongside his wife and lawyer, local media reported."

"Gwinnett County Solicitor-General Rosanna Szabo, whose office prosecutes misdemeanor and traffic offenses in the county, on April 14 dismissed 89 cases in which either McDonald or Bongiovanni was the main officer or a necessary witness. "The actions of these officers completely undermine their credibility and they cannot be relied upon as witnesses in any pending prosecution," Szabo said in a news release."

"A Miami Police officer is under arrest, accused of using the power of the badge to take advantage of a 19-year-old woman who was walking home. CBS Miami reports that on Thursday, Miami Police Chief Rodolfo Llanes issued a statement on the arrest of Officer Alexi Figueroa. They said Figueroa's arrest came after a joint investigation between Miami-Dade Police and the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office."

"Miami-Dade Police arrested Officer Figueroa on charges of false imprisonment and simple battery after the 27-year-old surrendered to police on Wednesday. He has since been released on a $22,000 bond."

"The charges stemmed from an incident from about a year before in North Miami-Dade County while the officer was in uniform, in his police cruiser and off duty."

Takes a year to bring this criminal jackbooted bastard in blue to justice? Think any other citizen would have been afforded similar consideration?

This is quite horrendous shit he's accused of. Imagine being 19 and a woman. Having to put up with the following:

"According to court filings, back in January 2016, the 19-year-old woman was walking home from a store when she noticed a marked police car making a U-turn and start heading towards her near NW 7th Avenue and NW 80th Street. "The victim stated that the police car stopped near her and the officer driving the police car called out to her….He asked for her name, and for her telephone number. The victim gave the defendant her name, and told him she did not have a phone," according to the arrest warrant."

Think any other such predator would have had a year to get his affairs in order?

"That's when investigators said she continued walking towards her home and had a second run-in with the same officer when the marked police car stopped in front of her on NW 7th Avenue. The victim stated that the officer (who was alone in the police car) told her to get in the car. The victim stated she felt compelled to do what he told her, since he was a police officer in a marked police car in a police uniform," the arrest warrant states."

An outrageous betrayal of public trust by a son of a bitch who has no business wearing a badge, sporting a gun, with a virtual license to kill with impunity. --In the goddamned fascist police-state we now live in.

"While she was in the car, the girl says the officer started "talking to her inappropriately as if he was interested in some type of sexual encounter with her." Moments later, she says he asked if she wanted to be "friends with benefits" and later proceeded to lean over and kiss her on the mouth and reach his hand down her shirt to touch her breast."

This, now the best policing has to offer? Seems the bastards were more interested in protecting and coddling one of their own than prosecuting the son of a bitch:

"The investigation started with Miami Police's Internal Affairs unit. Something then made them decide to ask the Miami-Dade Police Department to investigate. The officer was relieved of duty with pay back in February 2016 and will remain relieved of duty until the conclusion of the court case and an internal investigation."

"Jordan Edwards, a high school freshman, was leaving a house party in a Dallas suburb late Saturday night with several friends when police officers arrived outside. The officers were investigating a complaint about noisy teenagers in the neighborhood, and they had heard gunshots in the area as they approached. Within minutes, the black 15-year-old passenger had been killed — shot in the head by an officer through the front passenger window and pronounced dead at the hospital shortly afterward."

"The next day, Balch Springs police Chief Jonathan Haber apologized to Edwards' family at a news conference, explaining the situation by saying the vehicle was backing toward officers "in an aggressive manner." By Monday afternoon, however, Haber had retracted that account."

How is it the chief makes any comment, any statement at all until he's sure of the facts? How does that happen? Especially, in a case where a young kid gets shot in the head and killed?

"In fact, the car with five teenagers inside was moving forward, not backward, and away from the officers, not toward them. There was no altercation, known or otherwise.

"Nevertheless one of officers fired a rifle multiple times into the passenger window, killing young Jordan Edwards. None of the teens were carrying weapons, nor were they drunk.

"Chief Haber said his review of the officer's body camera video indicated the shooting may not meet his department's standards."

"The officer, who remains unnamed, has been placed on administrative leave. Both the Dallas County Sheriff's Department and the Dallas County district attorney's public integrity unit are investigating the shooting."

Why hasn't the officer been identified? Why wasn't this done immediately? Had it been the other way around, not only would the perpetrator had been immediately identified, his ass would have been hauled to jail. Not so, when a criminal jackbooted bastard in blue murders on the job. He's routinely protected, coddled. Why?

"We offer our sincere condolences to Jordan's family and will continue to keep them in our thoughts and prayers as we move forward expeditiously, with a commitment to justice and transparency," District Attorney Faith Johnson's office said in a statement Monday."

Her words ring hollow. Remain less than meaningless. Until she gets up off her ass, arrests, jails, charges, and then successfully prosecutes the son of a bitch, nothing will change. Never does. Precisely, why this shit never ends. Why the doomsday clock strikes ever closer to midnight. Hear the rumble? "An older teen who was in the car when his 15-year-old brother was fatally shot by a Texas officer was himself then handcuffed and hauled off to a jail cell overnight — "for no apparent reason," an attorney who represents the boys' family said on Tuesday. The 16-year-old brother of high school freshman Jordan Edwards was sitting in the same car with him the night a Balch Springs police officer fired multiple rifle rounds at their vehicle. One of the bullets hit Jordan in the head and he later died from the injury."

"After seeing his brother get shot, Jordan's older brother was handcuffed and taken by police for no particular reason," said Lee Merritt, the family's lawyer. He was not a suspect and there were no charges against him, he said. Although police later said they took the brother and kept him in order to question him as a witness, none of the other teens in the car were taken, he said. The teen spent the night in jail and was released the next morning — and it was only then that he found out about his brother's death, he said. "Not only have Jordan's brothers lost their best friend; they witnessed firsthand his violent, senseless, murder," the family said in a statement on Tuesday. "Their young lives will be forever altered," said the statement."

"But it wasn't just Edward's brother, Balch Springs Police officers also wanted to hold Edwards's father when he arrived at the station asking about his sons, Merritt said. Law enforcement subsequently held Edwards' father at a Dallas County Building, he said."

Police Chief Jonathon Haber told reporters he couldn't specify what policies were violated because Oliver can appeal his firing."

"The former South Carolina police officer caught on video opening fire into the back of a black man who was running away is expected to plead guilty Tuesday to a federal civil rights charge, according to the officer’s lawyer and people familiar with the case."

"Michael Slager, who worked for the North Charleston Police Department, had faced both federal civil rights and state murder charges in connection with the April 2015 shooting of Walter Scott, a 50-year-old unarmed motorist who fled after a traffic stop. Slager will plead guilty to a single federal civil rights charge — which his lawyer described as “using excessive force” — as part of a deal to resolve both cases, people familiar with the case said."

What a crock of shit. A cop commits murder. Shoots someone in the back. This is how it's finally adjudicated? Had it been the other way around, the shooter would have been quickly arrested for capital murder, jailed, charged, successfully prosecuted. After appeals? Executed. "The Post-Dispatch reports that it obtained an abridged portion of an inspector general’s report into the October death of 41-year-old David Garceau through an open records request. But paramedics didn’t pronounce him dead for 10 hours."

"Garceau died at the 550-bed St. Louis Community Release Center, which is run by the Division of Probation and Parole and serves as a halfway house for offenders who don’t have a home plan after prison release, the paper reports."

"The surveillance video also showed workers weren’t checking on Garceau even while filling out a log claiming they had. Garceau had been caught with suspected synthetic marijuana, though it’s unclear if that’s why he was being housed alone in Administrative Segregation."

"Missouri Department of Corrections Director Anne Precythe declined through a spokesman to comment. But she said earlier this year in a news release that she was “concerned about the circumstances” and vowed to take action “swiftly against responsible staff.”

"Several people have been fired or resigned, including the guard who was on duty in the area when Garceau hanged himself. A review of computer usage during her eight-hour shift found 418 pages of detailed internet access, including use of Twitter, Amazon, Facebook, LinkedIn and streaming media for almost five hours."

"Garceau was released from prison for an arson and burglary conviction in September and stayed with his father near the Lake of the Ozarks until he cut himself. After being sent to a hospital to be treated for mental illness, he went to the St. Louis release center on Oct. 18. According to the investigative report, Garceau was prescribed eight medications. There was no record that he received his medications Oct. 20, 21 or 22. The report — which cited broader problems with protocols related to medicine — said Garceau was given medication Oct. 23 at 8:15 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., right before he hanged himself."

"St. Louis police also investigated. No criminal charges were filed, and the case is inactive."

"A lawyer for a Sacramento man who was hurled to the ground and punched repeatedly in the face by a police officer filed a federal civil rights lawsuit against the city and county of Sacramento. The lawsuit alleges that Nandi Cain Jr. was abused in jail after his arrest,"forcefully stripped naked and forced to the ground while multiple officers continued to abuse and degrade the defenseless man."

State officials initially scheduled eight condemned inmates to die over 11 days — the fastest pace of executions in decades. Some executions were blocked by the courts."

Half of them were blocked, frustrating the nazi GOP Governor and his henchmen.

"Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson pressed for the fast pace of executions and said that they are a way to bring justice for the families of the victims. In a statement issued shortly after officials announced Williams' execution had been carried out, Hutchinson said: "The long path of justice ended tonight and Arkansans can reflect on the last two weeks with confidence that our system of laws in this state has worked. Carrying out the penalty of the jury in the Kenneth Williams case was necessary. There has never been a question of guilt."

"A Florida sheriff's deputy was sleeping when his 11-year-old daughter called and asked him to pick her up at her school bus stop. Seconds later, his daughter screamed into the phone. "Dad, help me, help me!"

"Polk County Sheriff's Deputy Jonathan "JJ" Quintana told reporters at a news conference Friday that he assumed the worst as he jumped out of bed Thursday afternoon and ran barefoot to the bus stop. He found his daughter safe, but immediately saw the carnage left when a suspected drunken driver hit five of her fellow Dundee Ridge Middle Academy students as they walked home from the stop. One student later died of his injuries."

"Quintana, 30, ran back home for his patrol car, yelled for his wife to toss him his keys and some shoes and drove back to the scene to assist the injured children. By then, two nurses had stopped to help the injured students. The deputy — still limping and visibly shaken Friday — said a witness at the scene pointed out the car that had allegedly just crashed into the children."

"Quintana saw the black vehicle had hit another car about 4,000 feet (1,219.2 meters) down the road. The driver then stumbled out of the vehicle. A woman who was four months pregnant was injured in that crash, according to authorities. They didn't release her name."

Think law enforcement adequately vets and continues to vet officers? Doesn't continue to pass problem officers on to other communities? Think again:

"Quintana arrested John Camfield, 48, of nearby Davenport, a former law enforcement officer who worked for more than 10 different agencies in Mississippi — including Yalobusha County Sheriff's Office, Tunica County Sheriff's Office and the Oxford Police Department — before moving to Florida in 2012."

"Officials said Jahiem Robertson, 13, died of his injuries Friday morning in an Orlando hospital. Another child, John Mena, also 13, remains in intensive care with orbital fractures. Three other children — Jonte Robinson, 15; Jasmine Robertson, 14; and Rylan Pryce, 12 — suffered minor injuries. It was unclear whether they were related."

"Speaking at the press conference Friday, Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said Camfield refused to take a breath test after his arrest and was "critiquing" the deputies who were processing his case. "He was critiquing the steps they were taking and complimenting them," Judd told reporters on Friday. "He said, 'You guys know what you are doing around here.' "

"In fact, Judd added, Camfield was being somewhat lighthearted until a lieutenant advised him that two of the children he hit were in critical condition. "He said, if that's the case, put me under the jail," Judd said. At that point, he agreed to take a breath test and a blood draw. "Seven hours after the crash, he still read a .14," nearly twice Florida legal limit."

"Judd said the bus had driven away just before the crash. He added that the students were not in the road when the car hit them. "They weren't misbehaving in any way. They were just being middle school children on their way home," Judd said. "This drunk man in a car drove off the road and ran through those children, scattering them like a bowling ball through bowling pins."

Kicker? Crux of the matter? Failure of the perpetrator as well as the system?

"Judd said a sheriff in Mississippi who Camfield once worked for described him as "one of the very best detectives we've ever had, but he had a problem — alcohol, the bottle."

There it is. Bottom line. We have to find a better, far more effective way of dealing with alcoholism. His colleagues in law enforcement, all the departments he worked for knew he had a problem. The issue should have been forced. Not passed on to yet another department, another community. Only to wind up with death of an innocent kid. Likely lifetime health issues for the survivors. ... If police don't police their own, who will?

Yet another example of inadequate vetting. Severe problems within law enforcement. ABC News reports:

"Police in Texas believe that Coleman Martin, an officer with the Austin Police Department, staged his death and is alive in Mexico, officials said Friday. The 29-year-old is now facing a Class A misdemeanor charge of "false report," according to a police department statement. And to add intrigue to the bizarre story, a woman with whom the married man had a close relationship, is also part of the investigation."

Interesting, isn't it? A most unusual case this time. Most of APD's problems are normally about outrageous abuse of power, police brutality, and the murder of innocent unarmed civilians by these jackbooted bastards in blue. Gone on for decades. This time, however, seems the officer had severe emotional issues:

"According to Friday's statement from the Austin Police Department, "evidence was uncovered to lead investigators to believe that the missing officer took means to stage his own death. It is believed at this time he is not deceased and has fled to Mexico." When Martin initially went missing, police described him as an officer in "emotional distress," based on interview with his wife."

"According to a police affidavit released Friday, Martin's wife called police on Tuesday, April 25, and reported that he was suicidal. She told officers that he left their residence around 10 a.m., saying he needed time [to] "clear his head." Then around 10:15 a.m., she said, he texted her a photo of a handwritten note that said he was going to commit suicide and drown himself in a lake near the Mexican border."

Would any officer in his right mind truly believe he could get away with this? Get this:

"Police discovered that that Martin withdrew $300 from the couple's joint bank account around 11 a.m. that morning and purchased gas 15 minutes later. He then bought a raft at a sporting goods store in Austin, got $50 cash back then got food at a Wendy's at 3:50 p.m. A transaction showed that he also purchased rope and concrete clocks from a Home Depot store, according to the affidavit."

Withdraws money from a joint account and thinks he's covered his tracks? Sound rational? The story gets more convoluted. The guy winds up getting stopped by a state trooper whom he informs he's on his way to a vacation in Mexico. Police wind up subsequently finding his vehicle later near a lake in Amistad National Recreation Area. Discover it's all a ruse:

"Investigators soon discovered that Martin had a close relationship with a woman other than his wife. On April 27, they interviewed the woman and she gave evidence that Martin was indeed alive and the entire incident was an attempt to fake his death. In fact, the woman showed investigators an email that Martin sent her after the alleged suicide."

Think privacy isn't under direct assault by the jackbooted bastards in blue? Wake up. NPR reports:

"If you're one of the many who text, read email or view Facebook on your phone while driving, be warned: Police in your community may soon have a tool for catching you red-handed."

If you engage in the above while driving, you're achingly stupid. A danger to yourself, more importantly, to others on the road. The answer, however, is not abrogation of privacy by the jackbooted bastards in blue:

"The new "textalyzer" technology is modeled after the Breathalyzer, and would determine if you had been using your phone illegally on the road."

This technology is an egregious invasion of privacy that will certainly wind up being used by police in other situations not involving driving. Called 'mission creep.' If you give the criminal jackbooted bastards in blue an inch, they always wind up taking a light year.

"Lawmakers in New York and a handful of other cities and states are considering allowing police to use the device to crack into phones because, they say, too many people get away with texting and driving and causing crashes."

Bullshit. Non-sequitur. How do they get away with causing a crash? They don't. Police may not know the crash was indeed caused by use of a cell phone, but they do know who was responsible for the crash. Weave out of your lane into oncoming traffic? Think police don't know? Run into the back of another vehicle in front of you? Think police don't know who's responsible? We already have laws on the books vis a vis reckless, careless driving, vehicular manslaughter, etc..

"Phone records — as I found out the hard way — they're tough to get [and] it's an agonizing process," says Ben Lieberman of New Castle, N.Y., whose 19-year-old son was killed in a car crash in the Hudson Valley, north of New York City, in 2011."

"The driver of the car his son Evan was in drifted over the center line and hit another vehicle head-on. Evan, who was sitting in the back seat with his seat belt on, suffered massive internal injuries and died a month later. The driver initially told police he dozed off while driving, but in reality he had been texting behind the wheel. It took Lieberman six months to figure that out."

What difference did it make in this example as to why the carnage occurred? Especially, since drugs, alcohol were not involved. The fact that the carnage did occur is what matters. Nail the driver for the offense. Reckless driving. Careless driving, manslaughter, etc.. Don't needlessly invade the privacy of innocent drivers by giving the jackbooted bastards in blue additional power they will certainly abuse under other circumstances.

"Astonishingly, the phone was in the car, wrecked in the car, and it was at a tow yard," he says. "It was there for weeks — it was just sitting there."

Doesn't that directly speak to the carelessness of police? Now, you wish to entrust them with additional power they will most certainly abuse?

"Lieberman says police couldn't check the driver's phone to see if he was lying because they needed probable cause to get a warrant."

"We often hear, 'just get a warrant' or 'just get the phone records.' ... The implication is that the warrant is like filling out some minor form," he says. "It's not. In New York, it involves a D.A. and a judge. Imagine getting a D.A. and a judge involved in every breathalyzer that's administered, every sobriety test that's administered."

"Baton Rouge Acting U.S. Attorney Corey Amundson announced Wednesday that federal prosecutors will not bring charges against the police officers involved in the fatal shooting of Alton Sterling, asserting that all the prosecutors and agents who investigated the matter found “insufficient evidence” to proceed with a prosecution."

"Relatives of Alton Sterling say they're frustrated and saddened by news that the Justice Department won't prosecute two Baton Rouge, La., police officers who were involved in the man's shooting death last summer. NSA Stops Certain Foreign Intelligence Collection Activities Under Section 702

The National Security Agency is instituting several changes in the way it collects information under Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.

Section 702, set to expire at the end of this year, allows the Intelligence Community to conduct surveillance on only specific foreign targets located outside the United States to collect foreign intelligence, including intelligence needed in the fight against international terrorism and cyber threats.

NSA will no longer collect certain internet communications that merely mention a foreign intelligence target. This information is referred to in the Intelligence Community as "about" communications in Section 702 "upstream" internet surveillance. Instead, NSA will limit such collection to internet communications that are sent directly to or from a foreign target.

Even though NSA does not have the ability at this time to stop collecting "about" information without losing some other important data, the Agency will stop the practice to reduce the chance that it would acquire communications of U.S. persons or others who are not in direct contact with a foreign intelligence target.

Finally, even though the Agency was legally allowed to retain such "about" information previously collected under Section 702, the NSA will delete the vast majority of its upstream internet data to further protect the privacy of U.S. person communications.

The changes in policy followed an in-house review of Section 702 activities in which NSA discovered several inadvertent compliance lapses.

NSA self-reported the incidents to both Congress and the FISC, as it is required to do. Following these reports, the FISC issued two extensions as NSA worked to fix the problems before the government submitted a new application for continued Section 702 certification. The FISC recently approved the changes after an extensive review.

"He clearly stands by that," said Spicer. "That's something he made clear if you look at the entire back and forth."

"Trump abruptly ended his interview with CBS earlier in the day after expressing that he has "own opinions" as he and Dickerson discussed the wiretapping accusations. Trump never provided evidence for the allegations and the idea that Obama ordered the action has been debunked by intelligence officials and members of both major political parties."

"As Trump appointees take their new positions in the federal bureaucracy, a legal battle is escalating over alleged intimidation of the civil servants who make the government function. The nonprofit United to Protect Democracy is suing the Departments of Energy and of Health and Human Services for records that would document or disprove such allegations. One of the group's lawyers, Ben Berwick, wrote in an online post that the goal is "protecting the civil service from purges, intimidation or politicization."

"The DOE suit seeks documents concerning an attempt by the Trump transition team to get the names of civil servants and contractors who worked on climate change programs. "A family court judge in Kentucky is refusing to hear adoption cases involving gay parents "as a matter of conscience" because he believes such households would not serve the best interests of the child. Judge W. Mitchell Nance filed an order recusing himself from any future adoption cases involving "a practicing homosexual." He cited a judicial ethics rule that states a judge must disqualify himself when he has a personal bias or prejudice."

"Kentucky state law permits gay couples to adopt children. "The undersigned judge believes as a matter of conscience that (although adoption of a child by a practicing homosexual is not expressly prohibited by law) under no circumstance would '...the best interest of the child ... be promoted by the adoption ...' by a practicing homosexual."

"A study in the Journal of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics found that children of same-sex parents are just as healthy emotionally and physically as the children of different-sex parents. 'No differences' between children of same-sex and opposite-sex parents."

The first involves the Girl Scouts, the second a funeral home that denied services to a gay man and his dead husband. Both examples, horrendous. "The Archdiocese of Kansas City says it is severing its years-long relationship with Girl Scouts in nearly two dozen Kansas counties because the organization promotes materials "reflective of many of the troubling trends in our secular culture." "The decision to end our relationship with Girl Scouting was not an easy one," Archbishop Joseph F. Naumann said in a statement released Monday. He asked pastors to "begin the process of transitioning away from the hosting of parish Girl Scout troops."

"Naumann said he is troubled by materials that highlight the roles of women such as birth control activist Margaret Sanger and feminist writers and activists Betty Friedan and Gloria Steinem. A local representative of the Girls Scouts told NPR that these women and many others have been celebrated because of their leadership qualities."

"The archbishop's letter also states that Girl Scouts of the USA "contributes more than a million dollars each year to the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGS), an organization tied to International Planned Parenthood." However, on its national website, the Girl Scouts says it "does not have a relationship or partnership with Planned Parenthood." The organization says it pays membership dues to WAGGS, and compares the relationship to the one between the U.S. and the U.N.: "The United States may not agree with every position the UN takes, but values having a seat at the table."

"One Mississippi family's pain and grief after losing a loved one was compounded when the local funeral home suddenly refused to perform their relative's cremation because he was gay. Robert Huskey passed away in May 2016 after his heart condition worsened over the previous year. Knowing that his death was imminent, Huskey's nephew had made arrangements with the local funeral home the month before his passing."

"But according to a lawsuit announced Tuesday by Lambda Legal, the Picayune Funeral Home suddenly refused to pick up and cremate Huskey's body as planned on the day of his death. All because that day, the lawsuit alleges, the funeral home discovered Huskey was gay and married to Jack Zawadski, his partner of 52 years. "I felt as if all the air had been knocked out of me," Zawadski said in a statement released Tuesday. "Bob was my life, and we had always felt so welcome in this community. And then, at a moment of such personal pain and loss, to have someone do what they did to me, to us, to Bob, I just couldn't believe it. No one should be put through what we were put through."

"No federal or Mississippi state law protects lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people from discrimination — in fact, Mississippi's controversial House Bill 1523 was signed to protect the rights of businesses that turn away LGBTQ customers because of moral or religious opposition. Lambda Legal is fighting H.B. 1523 in court, too, and a judge blocked the law from taking effect until a higher court gives a final ruling on whether it's unconstitutional. But in the meantime, there's still no law protecting LGBTQ people from discrimination. "The state of anti-discrimination laws in Mississippi is virtually nonexistent. Certainly not in Picayune," said Littrell, who called the funeral home's decision to refuse services to Huskey's family "profoundly wrong."

"Just half-a-year after a federal judge tossed out three lawsuits against Kim Davis, the Kentucky clerk who grabbed headlines in 2015 for denying marriage licenses to same-sex couples on religious grounds, a court of appeals ruled Tuesday that the men suing Davis can continue their case."

"Last August, U.S. District Judge David Bunning dismissed a case brought by David Ermold and David Moore against the Rowan County clerk, citing an executive order by Kentucky Gov. Matthew Bevin. Under the order, marriage licenses no longer need to carry the name of the county clerk who issues them. This change, Bunning argued at the time, rendered moot the complaints brought by Ermold, Moore and several other people."

"But in their opinion Tuesday, the three judges on the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said the story doesn't end there:

"We conclude that the district court's characterization of this case as simply contesting the 'no marriage licenses' policy is inaccurate because Ermold and Moore did not seek an injunction — they sought only damages. This action is not a general challenge to Davis's policy, but rather seeks damages for a particularized harm allegedly suffered by a specific set of plaintiffs."

"The appeals court ruling revives the couple's lawsuit and sends the case back to Bunning."

The exact same messaging, other than IP addresses, is the same on the wink
and t15 FTP servers. This hacking attack apparently occurred the day
after Wells Fargo closed two accounts because I publicly accused them of
criminal activity. Your company needs to look into this matter. Get these
FTP servers up and running again. A criminal complaint will be filed with
the U.S. Attorney regarding all the ongoing criminal activity by Wells
Fargo, now extended to hacking and undue interference with the webhosts.
Has 2freehosting been bribed and/or pressured by Wells Fargo? Certainly,
one of numerous questions to be forwarded to criminal prosecutors.

been effected making it impossible to upload. This hacking attack

Welcome. Liberty In Peril has been relaunched at a new URL:
libertyinperil.com. This is a new commercial site hosted in an overseas
country, which unlike our own, does value free speech, Net security,
privacy, equally importantly, despises hackers. Banks too big to fail
should not have the ability to shut down ftp servers on four Liberty In
Peril websites, making upload impossible. -- Simply, because they don't
want the truth of their criminal activity reported to the public.

Should this site not be kept up, running, and fully operational, the
libertyinperil.com domain will be quickly moved to a different host
despite cost and hassle. No more bullsh-t. Criminal complaints will be
prepared and filed against Amanda Wright, Lynn Massey, and the equally
criminal bastards in the Wells Fargo corporate management suite for
egregious deceptive trade practices.

Email notification of local businesses of these practices, has and will,
continue unabated until Wells Fargo accepts responsibility, ceases these
practices, and finally makes it right. During the last several weeks
after the ftp servers were hacked, a blizzard of these emails was sent to
local businesses to keep intense pressure on the criminal bastards at
Wells Fargo. Copies of these emails were sent to bank officials. They
have been posted in this publication. ... We're already up to Salvo 74, --
and counting.

In addition, all new Newsletter Editions will feature an
available abbreviated version, smart phone friendly, that can be accessed
by clicking on the icon. Will supplement the regular format of this
publication. This is being done because so many of you access this
publication with smart phones and other devices with small screens.

This site has finally been fully uploaded. All links appear to be
properly working. Typos in the rush to get material up have also been
corrected. There will be a few additional changes to be made as time
allows. Including, again, a smart phone-friendly abbreviated version of
each future Newsletter Edition starting with v434 that will be available
in addition to the regular edition.

Hopefully, now, I can finally get back to the business of this
publication, that is exposure of corrupt, abusive, inept, clueless
government lackeys beholden to their corporate masters, rather than
dealing with recalcitrant webhosts. We'll see. With the
libertyinperil.com domain, however, any necessary changes in webhosts will
be easy to make since all links won't have to be changed or deactivated.

The pressure on Wells Fargo will continue unabated. Should they further
interfere with operation of this publication, it will simply provide
additional fodder for criminal complaints to be filed against them.

On 9-22-15, Kingsland Wells Fargo Store Manager Amanda Wright forced
closure of two accounts because for nearly three years this writer has
publicly accused her, her predecessor Lynn Massey, and the Wells Fargo
corporate management suite of engaging in criminal deceptive trade
practices, as well as pressuring, unduly interfering and/or bribing
webhosts to take these websites down.

Apparently, they have successfully managed to unduly influence and/or
bribe the federal Consumer Financial 'Protection' Bureau and Texas
Attorney General Consumer Protection Division as well. Forget? The bank
is considered too big to fail. Considers itself government.

For all practical purposes, that's perversely true. They have money and
resources to buy not only their human chattel, but their bought and paid
for government lackeys. Be interesting to see whether or not the U.S.
Attorney is untouchable, or sadly, similarly capable of being bought.

Immediately after closure of these accounts, the three operational Liberty
In Peril FTP servers were hacked. What that means is that while all three
sites remained operational and accessible to readers, new material could
not be uploaded. This continues to date.

Worse, 'free' accounts on all three 'free' webhosts conveniently no longer
provide technical control panel support. Clearly, they don't want to know
there are problems. Have managed, however, to find other ways to contact
webhost management and have done precisely that.

Will take a criminal investigation to determine who hacked the sites,
however. Most likely, Wells Fargo had a hand in it. Certainly, have the
resources. Highly, unlikely the Llano County Sheriff's Office was
involved. Hard to believe they would be that stupid. The Bank, however,
has nothing to lose. Owns its government lackeys. The Sheriff and his
outrageously corrupt and abusive goons, however, can expect further

The effort to expose Wells Fargo egregious deceptive trade practices continues. Several years ago to determinedly apply renewed pressure on our truly worthless, egregiously self-serving Texas Attorney General, now Governor, an excoriating email was sent to the bastard. Copies of which were also passed on to both offending Wells Fargo officers. A copy was also sent to the Davis campaign and others at the time.

Voters did have a right to know as Attorney General, the GOP candidate for Governor apparently selectively investigated, or not, bona fide complaints filed by citizens against banks too big to fail. Possibly, Wells Fargo could have lined his pockets in some fashion. That has yet to be determined.

The bastard and his office, no matter what, failed to respond to the complaint originally snail mailed several years ago. This material, figuratively targeting Wells Fargo and the governor 'wannabe' now Governor, had been posted and can be found by scrolling all the way down and clicking on the links well below. ... Governor? Wells Fargo bribe you to look the other way?

Will continue to do all I can to publicly expose this to all, both in this publication and elsewhere. Have done precisely that with the following email sent to Rosalie, Living Love Animal Rescue, Marble Falls, TX. A copy of it was also sent to Wells Fargo officer Amanda Wright. She has, indeed, been promoted to branch manager. Reverse Darwinism. Survival of the unfittest.

This young woman has indeed been rewarded by the Wells Fargo corporate management suite for engaging in criminal deceptive trade practices and her undying loyalty to her corporate masters. The name of this publication was changed some ten years ago from The Llano Ledger to Liberty In Peril. The reason? Simple. Cowardly failure of this community to stand up to tyranny that has only exponentially worsened the last decade. Clearly, demonstrated as well by the cowardly failure of businesses to financially support this publication. Either through advertising or other financial support. Too afraid doing so would enrage the bastards who run and own this hellhole County.

-- Despite the fact these businesses were, and are, being egregiously f--ked by these very same bastards. Tough, isn't it? Impossible to entertain any sympathy for cowardice, however. Especially in view of the fact this writer has placed himself in great jeopardy taking on these corrupt, abusive, inept criminal bastards. Alone.

Exactly, why you see no investigative material highly critical of these sons of bitches in other local rags. Sadly, cowardly, all advertising income immediately dries up. Consequently, the bastards continue their criminal chicanery with impunity. On a rampage. Thus, you get what you truly deserve. Always. Precisely, why this earlier name change to Liberty In Peril remains appropriate. -- Despite the fact this writer has not yet left the area. Ten years after originally intending to do so. Thirty years in this goddamned godforsaken hellhole.

This writer, then and now, remains primarily interested in state, federal, and international issues. Another reason for this publication name change. Despite the fact I stupidly cluelessly remain here, local issues must be addressed. Can't be ignored. That's where you come in dear readers. Have the courage to inform this writer of local abuse, corruption, ineptness you are aware of, have personally experienced.

... Information these criminal bastards do all they can to conceal, cover up. Otherwise, how can they effectively sustain the charade and intended result? Loot confiscation through a boot heel on the throat of the citizenry.

The only way, short of an unwanted dreaded second American revolution, to force badly-needed change is to expose all this to the light of day. These bastards are beginning to understand they have a problem. No question, the growing rage of those they've abused, looted, egregiously f--ked. It's time to stand up. Expose this corruption to glaring sunlight. Otherwise, as fools, cowards, you will remain under their thumb. From the loftiest business owner to those on the bottom of the food chain. Wake up. Grow a pair.

For a measly salary, no job security, reduced to no benefits. At a time of record corporate profits and cash reserves.

Then, you gallingly complain about the oppression as you tolerate egregious theft of your labor. Not only by your corporate masters, but their bought and paid for government lackeys. Too cowardly to stand up, allow disclosure of your identity when you rightfully complain to this publication of being mercilessly f--ked. Some of you falsely arrested, criminally assaulted, bogusly fined for 'offenses' you did not commit. To line County coffers. Keep the peasants in line and under control. A fascist police-state. Nazi America.

Again, yet another reason why this publication is called Liberty In Peril. Most galling? Nothing changes if you fail to step up and challenge corrupt, abusive, inept authority. Too afraid, cowardly compliant to let the bastardsknow who you are. Did it ever occur to the cowards out there if the identity of the accuser is kept under wraps the bastards will falsely claim it's all made up by this publication? Thus, conveniently killing all credibility. Wake up.

Cowardice is unbecoming, unworthy of our formerly great country. Insult to injury? There are the hopelessly deranged who believe the chicanery reported here to be manufactured anyway. No matter the effort. No matter the research. No matter the proof. Wake up. This writer cannot do it alone. Snowball's chance in hell. Then again, cowardice, delusion is always amply, justly rewarded. Always. You continue to 'enjoy' the very best government money can buy. Literally.

Cannot do it alone. Impossible. Not sustainable. This publication needs your financial and material support. Both. Time to step up.

Click herefor a most interesting conversation between JP2 Linda Ballard and LCRA Communications Supervisor Mitch Hibbs who at the time was investigating a complaint made by the Henderson family against the 'judge.' The recording had been made by Hibbs and provided by Phyllis Henderson who had gotten it through an open records request. During the course of the recording you will hear the 'judge' make a terroristic threat against the Henderson family which the investigator laughingly shrugged off as a joke.

Seems former LCRA Ranger Lance Bilski, stepson of Llano County Sheriff Bill Blackburn, had been harassing the Henderson family regarding their tire business, Henderson Tire. Worse? There are unsubstantiated allegations, that although very much attached, Bilski may have indeed engaged in improprieties, that is, egregiously unprofessional conduct relevant to the Henderson complaint. All this had been covered in Newsletter Text V346.
