Publisher's Note: This publication receives no financial support through advertising.  Although shaken down, looted, and abused by corrupt government, area businesses remain unwilling to stand up.  Locals are too gutless to donate financially, cowardly fearing retribution.  For this publication to survive, national readers need to contribute.  Liberty In Peril is, has been, and will always remain beholden to NO ONE. -- Precisely why there is no financial assistance.  ... From day of launch and certainly a no-brainer to this very day, firmly resolved to walk away first rather than compromise principle. -- To the chagrin of many and delight of few.    T.C. (5-7-13).

For new readers:  Fascism, nazism, national socialism defined as the pernicious blend of government, business, and religion.  'Justified' by perversion and bastardization of the latter.

No matter what, no matter where, this publication will remain up and running.  For it to remain centered here, however, financial and/or material support must be provided.  Status quo, unsustainable. Time to step up.  Now.

... Hey, Sheriff? Is it true Llano County Attorney Becky Lange has advised you to stay out of the "Berardi Property Rights Denial-Damage To Pace Arrow-Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764" fiasco?  That right, Bill?  Isn't that obstruction of justice?  Also true your deputies have advised the Bolens to accept the status quo and not force the no-trespassing issue with Greene?  If so, isn't that also obstruction and official oppression?  When will you do your job, Bill?  As an elected official, you answer to the public, forget?  -- No honor?  ... No honor at all? If the foregoing allegations are indeed true, didn't you swear an oath to uphold the law and Constitution?  Why aren't you doing so?  No guts?

Your deputy has been accused of abusing authority.  What action have you taken other than ignore the complaint?  Why aren't both Rodriguez and the County Attorney under criminal investigation?  The County Attorney appears to be obstructing justice, accepting the word of Greene in lieu of two surveyor companies who strongly assert otherwise.  Both the County Attorney and District Attorney have ignored complaints.  Par for the course in Llano County, isn't it?  Failed to do their jobs.  No surprise there, right, Bill?  Both receiving 'special consideration' up to and/or including a bribe from Greene?  Regardless, clearly, no justice in Nazi Llano County.  Bottom line?  Desperate need for an outside criminal investigation.  Conveniently, forget?  This County is ruled by men, certainly not rule of law and the United States Constitution.

Precisely, why there is desperate need for a new federal agency whose sole function would be to investigate, arrest, charge, and prosecute criminal law enforcement, prosecutors, and judges in a special court whose only mandate would be to adjudicate such cases.  Total independence.  Until that happens, the criminal bastards who falsely believe they run and own this hell hole County will continue to do as they please.

Some salient quotes occurring later on in this edition vis a vis unfinished business County officials continue to ignore:

... "No justice.  Precisely, why there is desperate need for a new federal agency whose sole function would be to investigate, arrest, charge, and prosecute corrupt, abusive, criminal officers, prosecutors, and judges in a special court that would adjudicate only these cases.  Total independence.  The only way to rein in these criminals, particularly the murderers in blue.

Sadly, the achingly clueless bastards in law enforcement don't need a legitimate reason to kill.  Enjoy carte blanche to murder on the job.  Nearly always, with impunity.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Sue the living shit out of the jackbooted motherf--kers, the department, and the city.  Any officer engaged in, or threatening this kind of unnecessary violence needs to be criminally prosecuted.  Not protected and coddled.  Not put on paid leave, -- no more than a paid vacation.  Not sent home without pay to catch up on his beauty sleep.

Firing is egregiously insufficient.  How can the law enforcement community be trusted?  No foreign power, no terrorist organization, not even the criminal element presents a greater threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties than the criminal jackbooted bastards in law enforcement.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Madam County Attorney?  "Sonny Boy?"

These are extremely dangerous times for our formerly great country.  ... Hear the rumble?  An unwanted dreaded second American revolution catastrophically looming.  -- As our legislators and other government officials figuratively 'fiddle while Rome burns.'

Not good enough.  Nowhere near.  Short of an unwanted dreaded second American revolution, only one way for these atrocities to end.  Again, time for a new federal agency whose sole function would be to investigate, arrest, charge, prosecute corrupt, abusive, criminal officers, prosecutors, and judges in a special court whose sole function would be to adjudicate such cases.  Total independence.

Local  and state authorities are egregiously incapable of handling these cases. Tend to protect their own.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Goes with the territory, doesn't it, Bill?  Precisely, why there is no faith or trust in your criminal jackbooted bastards.  Local authorities here in Nazi Llano County have their heads figuratively, securely lodged so far up their clueless ass their eyeballs are turning inside out.  Protect and coddle your clueless, out of control officers.  Imagine that.

Unadulterated, blatant ongoing horse shit.  ... Right, Bill?  F--k these jackbooted bastards.  Aren't worth a crap.  Continually abrogate their oaths of office to protect and defend the United States Constitution.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Includes not only deputies, but the brass as well.  No principles.  No honor.  Lying, conniving, abusive, murderous jackbooted thieving thugs.  The American Civil Liberties Union needs to step up and represent the victims of abusive law enforcement.

To say nothing of innocent civilians all across our formerly great country who are victimized by abusive police.  Need far better representation than a public defender.  Forget?  It's how the bastards in government line government coffers.  All too often, looting the innocent.  Those on the bottom of the food chain.  ... Right, Sheriff?

No justice.  The American Way.  Nazi America.  When is this shit finally going to end?  All of it.  Wake up, Sheriff.  Again, where is dashcam video of the killing of Jeffrey Gray Wise, 52, of Austin by DPS and the Llano County Sheriff's Office?  Four hundred six weeks, now.  A goddamned disgrace.

Why are you still sitting on this information?  What are you hiding, Sheriff?  What is the identity of the officers who killed Wise?  Too gutless to release this information to the public that pays your salary and that of your goons?  Reportedly, there were three officers involved in the shooting.  Who the hell are they?

When will the goddamned 'law' 'enforcement' community finally stop making excuses for engaging in outrageous criminal activity including blatant murder, violent assault, sexual assault, theft, drug trafficking, etc.?  List can go on and on.  Protecting its own no matter what it does or doesn't do?  Convenient, isn't it, Sheriff?  Again, no foreign power, no terrorist organization, not even the criminal element presents a greater threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties than all branches and levels of government, -- including law enforcement.

Corruption within law enforcement remains an existential threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties.  So what else is new?  ... Right, Bill?  Same old duplicitous, aggressively stupid shit occurs right here in Nazi Llano County.  ... Doesn't it, Sheriff?

Think it'll change any time soon?  Don't hold your breath, readers.  Not how things work in Nazi America, right, Sheriff?  Highly reminiscent of how your goons operate though, isn't it, Bill?  Forget?  'Stupid is as stupid does.'  F--ked up is f--ked up no matter where, no matter how.  Problem throughout all law enforcement.

Including right here in Nazi Llano County, right, Sheriff?  Too many officers clearly have their heads securely lodged where the sun seldom shines.  Egregious insanity continues to be perpetrated by the criminal jackbooted bastards in blue.  Ongoing issue.  All over our formerly great country.

Not just in Dallas as in the Guyger case, but all over the nation.  No end to it.  Surprised?  Why?  In today's increasingly national socialist climate anything goes, right, Bill?  Live in a de facto fascist police-state, quickly transitioning to the Trump nazi's Fourth Reich.  Certainly, a problem here in Nazi Llano County, isn't it, Sheriff?  Your goons, however, aren't held accountable when they egregiously f--k up.  Ever.

Precisely why you refuse to release information on your deputies to the long-suffering public? That is, employment history, criminal background, results of drug testing, etc..  ... Got to protect your criminal jackbooted thugs preying on the citizenry with virtual impunity, right, sir?

Equally pointedly, why hasn't Llano County Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764 been held criminally accountable for egregious abuse of power involving denial of property rights to a Kingsland property owner?  To say nothing of consequent resultant physical damage done to a motor home on that property.  Why are you protecting this clueless son of a bitch, Sheriff?

Why hasn't he been prosecuted for official oppression?  Where is financial compensation for the damage this jackbooted piece of human excrement is responsible for? Ferociously pointedly, why are the District Attorney and the County Attorney continuing to protect this jackbooted piece of shit?  He and others like him present an exigent threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties.

Equally to the point, why are your jackbooted pieces of human excrement refusing to enforce Berardi's property rights?  Your goons have failed to take action against Theresa Ahrens when she tore down a no trespassing sign and barrier on Berardi's property.  Have you, your goons, and/or Madam County Attorney been bribed by Johnny Greene?

Ahrens frequently drives all the way through Berardi's property.  Coup de grace?  When Berardi complained to Llano County Deputy Idle about the trespassing, the officer's response was insane.  Said the Sheriff told him to tell Berardi since Ahrens believes she owns his property she can't be charged with trespassing.  Perfect Catch-22, right, Sheriff?  You're not fit for office, Bill.  Bribed by Johnny Greene?

Why is Theresa Ahrens allowed by your goons to dictate what vehicles can and cannot be parked on Berardi's property?  Ahrens claims she has proof the property belongs to her where the vehicle was parked.  Has failed to produce it. Surveyors say otherwise.  Back up Berardi.  Yet, your jackbooted bastards refuse to enforce Berardi's property rights.  Why?  Somebody lining somebody's pockets, Sheriff?

Ms. Ahrens micro-mini portable 'house' is parked on an unused unmarked Llano County road.  Imagine that.  Madam County Attorney well-aware.  Has done nothing.  Shit squat.  Egregiously ignored her oath of office.  Someone bribing you, Becky?  Lining your pockets, Counselor?  Paying you not to sell the unused unmarked County road to Berardi?  Doesn't the County want and need the sale money, to say nothing of the resultant tax income?

No question, County and State agencies remain determinedly, concertedly, achingly incapable of criminal investigation of their own.  Precisely, why a new federal agency desperately needs to be created whose sole function would be to investigate, arrest, charge, prosecute corrupt, abusive, criminal officers, prosecutors, and judges in a special court whose sole function would be to adjudicate only such cases.  Total independence.  Certainly, go a long, long way to cleaning up this cess pool County.  Rein in the outrageously corrupt, abusive, achingly inept, self-serving assholes who run and own this hell hole.

Sheriff, you falsely claim the Kingsland County Commissioner has the authority to resolve this ongoing property rights issue.  Clearly, doesn't.  You, Madam County Attorney, and "Sonny Boy" are certainly an egregious impediment, continue to determinedly stonewall.  Someone's pockets are being lined.  Again, where's financial compensation for the damage Llano County Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764 is directly responsible for to the Pace Arrow?  Why hasn't he been prosecuted for this damage, to say nothing of infringement of Berardi's property rights?  -- Just getting started, Sheriff.  Far more to come.

-- You're not doing your jobs, Sheriff.  You've got a loose vicious dog problem in Kingsland, Bill.  When will you and the troops finally do something about this ongoing issue?  Certainly, a recurring problem on Skyline, particularly on occasion at the intersection of Odessa.  Pedestrians, runners, and cyclists are at risk.  Too busy lining County coffers with bogus tickets?"

... Hey, Sheriff?  Reportedly, promote Llano County Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764 to Sergeant?  If true, yet another classic example of survival of the unfittest in the law enforcement community.  Readers are reminded this is the very same idiot, clueless asshole responsible for thousands of dollars of damage to the Pace Arrow as reported in each edition of this publication.  Far more to Kingsland property owner James Berardi in a property dispute.  -- A dispute engineered by Johnny Greene, apparently financed by a bribe to the former County Attorney, current District Attorney, and Sheriff.  A federal investigation of Llano County government and the aforementioned allegedly corrupt and abusive bastards in this ongoing fiasco is desperately needed.  Tim Chorney.

Counselor:

The enclosed emails were sent to the Llano County Attorney and Sheriff, respectively, vis a vis the above matter.  Remain unanswered.  The County Attorney appears to be protecting and defending the deputy at behest of Kingsland property owner Johnny Greene.  May have received some consideration from Greene up to and including a bribe.  Are the County Attorney, Greene, and the Deputy under criminal investigation?  If not, why not?

Re:  Berardi Property Rights Denial-Damage To Pace Arrow-Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764

Counselor:

As you're well aware, we have an outrageously corrupt, abusive, achingly inept Llano County Sheriff's Office here in Nazi Llano County.  Worse, you and your office aid and abet these SS jackbooted bastards in black.  The issue at the moment is the same it's been the last six months.

How is it two surveyor companies, the Appraisal District, the Tax Office, the Precinct 3 Commissioner, even the goddamned Sheriff himself now states Kingsland resident James Berardi owns the lots in contention all these months?

Yet, you ludicrously assert that's not the County's legal position.  It's not?  Why not?  You claim you're not a real estate expert.  Rather than accept the advice of two surveyor companies, the Precinct 3 Commissioner, the Appraisal District, the Tax Office, and even the Sheriff himself, you've inexplicably chosen to follow the advice of property owner Johnny Greene, -- who conveniently happens to be reportedly in the oil industry.

Question to be asked.  Could you have received any 'consideration' in return, -- up to and including a bribe?  Only way to know for sure is for the District Attorney to conduct a criminal investigation.  Apparently, there has been none.  If not, why not?

Equally pointedly, why hasn't Llano County Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764 been held criminally accountable for egregious abuse of power involving denial of property rights to this Kingsland property owner?  To say nothing of consequent resultant physical damage done to a motor home on that property.

Our achingly useless, worthless, gutless Sheriff has ignored an email vis a vis the damage this jackbooted thug is responsible for.  Interestingly, his fellow officers believe him to be an idiot.  Yet, the Sheriff continued to defend this piece of human excrement until he realized  this entire fiasco would not be swept under the carpet.

Rodriguez is indeed an idiot.  Would you believe this piece of crap ordered the motor home to be moved on to an unmarked unused Llano County road? That motor home has indeed been moved back to where it was parked before Rodriguez forced it to be moved.  Why hasn't the County paid for the cost of moving it back?  To say nothing of the damage.

Equally pointedly, why is it the County has allowed Theresa Ahrens to park and live in her tiny cottage on that very same road?  Why hasn't she been evicted by the County?  Why was she assessed taxes on an adjacent improvement she doesn't own?

Why is it, Counselor, Johnny Greene is paying for the attorney retained by Ms. Ahrens?  Is Greene attempting to make this all go away by bribery?  Greene has also informed Berardi he is going to sue.  For what?  Has Greene lost his mind?

What about Wells who installed a $4500 septic system on a lot turns out he does not own as a result of Greene, an outrageously inept County, to say nothing of the Llano County Attorney who remains equally determinedly clueless?

How about Bolen who hasn't a pot to piss in, but was nonetheless f--ked over by Greene to say nothing of an egregiously inept County, to say nothing of you and your goddamned equally incompetent office?

None of this is going away, Counselor, -- any time soon.  Will not be swept under the carpet as all the other crap going on in this hell hole County.  Not a chance.  Expect a full expose in this publication whether or not this outrageous fiasco finally gets resolved.  Including full public exposure of both the Sheriff and his jackbooted thug.

Who are they, Sheriff? Their past history?  An ongoing investigation remains a lame bullshit excuse.  How can you and your goons be trusted when you refuse to disclose information?  Four hundred six weeks.  Especially, your egregious failure to disclose the identity of the officers who pulled the trigger.  To cover your sorry ass, Sheriff?  Those of your thugs?  The people have a right to know what happened, how it went down.  You don't understand that, Sheriff?  Sadly, clearly, you answer to no one.  Including taxpayers.  Especially, taxpayers.

Until you and your goons come clean, doubt will remain this was indeed a good shoot.  The longer you drag your feet, the greater the doubt.  Think not?  Wake up.  Your credibility has tanked.  Isn't getting any better as this bullshit continues unabated.  Four hundred six weeks.  Still no identification of the officers involved  ... Can't get your stories straight?  In line?  Discrepancy between LCSO and DPS? Wake up, Sheriff.  The public no longer buys the bullshit.  No longer trusts you.  On this and many, many other issues.  You have no credibility.  Absolutely, none.

Readers, this is but one of about four other highly questionable killings by law enforcement in Llano County in the last decade or so.  There was one within the City of Llano, another in a field near Fuzzy's Corner, Buchanan Dam, yet another in Point Tella, Buchanan Dam, still another in Tow.  If there are any others I may have neglected to mention, kindly email.

It's time the public be fully informed.  -- Know what we're dealing with here and how 'law' 'enforcement' operates in this hell hole County.  If these jackbooted bastards are not reined in, the life lost could be many  others courtesy of a law enforcement system that is no longer accountable to anyone.  ... Right, Sheriff?  TL?  "Sonny Boy?"  Madam County Attorney?

The Sheriff seems to have no clue the people who pay him and his goons are entitled to know whom is killing whom and why.  This shit always seems to be swept under the carpet.  Ignored.  The attitude of these jackbooted sons of bitches is trust us.  They can't be.  They've lied too many times.  Refuse to be accountable to anyone.  We live in a goddamned fascist police-state where law enforcement does as it pleases. Usually, with impunity.  This has to change.

The Texas Rangers have become rubber stamp to atrocities committed by law enforcement.  This also has to change.  No one is holding law enforcement accountable any longer.  No one.  No one in state or federal government. This is precisely why Ferguson triggered such an uproar.  There was no justice there.  None here.  None anywhere.  Officers are abusive, corrupt, inept.

Falsely ticket and arrest the innocent to line County coffers.  Court fees charged continue to be horrendous.  -- Aren't taxpayers already looted to pay these costs?  Aren't you not only double f--king those falsely accused, but taxpayers also hellaciously looted to pay the very same costs?   Yet, the criminal bastards in power in Llano continue to pile on the fees. This is nothing more than goddamned bullshit.  This money finds its way into the pockets of the corrupt, abusive bastards who falsely believe they run and own this hell hole.

Would you believe the last time the Sheriff's Office happened to be 'audited' during the Garrett regime, reportedly, auditors couldn't figure out what went where and why? Yet, surprise, surprise.  Nothing was done.  There has to be transparency.  There is none.  Why would these thieving bastards want any?  ... Right, Sheriff?  TL?  How else could they so easily steal and loot with virtual impunity?  Worse, this reinforces jackbooted power in this goddamned, godforsaken hell hole County.

The public has a right to know the histories of the Sheriff's goons.  Clearly, the Sheriff doesn't think so.  That is, where they came from.  Why they left where they were.  What is happening here is the Sheriff is using 'personnel matters' as a convenient excuse to deny the public access to the history of outrageously corrupt, abusive, inept officers who are no more than criminals themselves.

He's protecting his outrageously corrupt, abusive, inept jackbooted bastards.  Worse, the standards imposed by sheriff's offices statewide with the exception of metropolitan counties are well below those of DPS and city police departments.  Why?  So the corruption, abuse, ineptness, and outright stealing can continue unabated?  This has to change.  ... Can't have that, can we?  Sheriff?  TL?

The public should understand Llano County authorities have it all sewn up.  Did you know the Texas Attorney General does not have the authority to investigate and prosecute County authorities on his own?  The District Attorney has to call for an investigation by the Texas Rangers.  Then, the State can prosecute if it so chooses.

Consequently?  Guess what?  Nothing will happen.  Nothing ever does.  The goddamned corruption continues unabated until you, the public, pressure authorities.  Precisely, why we all enjoy the 'best' government money can buy. Literally.  Without question, the corrupt, abusive, inept sons of bitches are all bought and paid for.  Firmly clamped to the taxpayer tit.  Dependent on money looted from innocent citizens caught in their web.  Phony fines and court costs cleverly designed to f--k the innocent and enrich the pieces of shit who falsely believe they run and own Llano County. Right, Sheriff?  TL?  "Sonny Boy?"  Madam County Attorney?

Interestingly, the former Sheriff and District Attorney were reportedly forced to retire after an outrageous scandal involving a drunk driving police officer from out of town.  Including special treatment of the drunken son of a bitch that no other citizen caught doing the same would have been afforded. An honest, honorable Llano County Deputy suffered the consequences. Forget? Great officers do not last in this hell hole County. ... Right, Sheriff?  TL?  "Sonny Boy?"  Madam County Attorney?

With all ongoing abuse in this goddamned County, one thing remains for damned sure.  We're just getting started, Sheriff.  You will continue to be exposed for whom and what you and your corrupt, abusive, inept jackbooted bastards have become, truly are, not what you phonies purport to be, that is, how you continue to f--k over a public you've falsely sworn to protect and defend.  -- Exposure, the only way short of an unwanted dreaded revolution to force desperately needed change in a goddamned fascist police-state. The Fourth Reich.

Have your jackbooted thugs been tested for steroids, Sheriff?  If you've nothing to hide, Bill, release the results of all drug testing.  'Personnel matters?'  Bullshit.  Looted taxpayers have the right to know.  They're footing the bill for all this goddamned corruption, abuse, ineptness. When will you and the boys end the shakedowns?  Looting of the innocent to line County coffers?  No honor at all?

Where are your swastika armbands, you fascist son of a bitch?  You and your thugs remain out of uniform.  Once again, Sheriff, and ad nauseum, did you and/or your goons pressure Schilling to exit the race?  Did you steal the election? If so, an aggressively stupid, achingly gutless public gets what it truly deserves.  One of the most corrupt, abusive, inept 'law' 'enforcement' agencies in our formerly great country.

While the business and church communities stood tall during the recent Kingsland flood catastrophe, there was one glaring exception.  On 10-17-18, the Antlers Coffee Shop closed due to storm-related failure of the Kingsland water system. Patrons, however, are routinely allowed to get online outside even when the shop is closed.

A long-term coffee shop customer entered the hotel lobby to ask the desk clerk whether wifi was still up and running after the catastrophe.  She said it was and told the patron he could get online inside the closed shop.  She then asked him to have another regular customer who had just arrived outside to come in and get out of the cold as well.

Antlers co-proprietor Rick apparently quickly got wind of both customers, made quite a jackass of himself emulating the petulant narcissist currently occupying the Oval Office.  Aggressive stupidity at a time the Kingsland business community is indeed suffering, can least afford it.  Further proof positive of the old adage 'can fix ignorant, can't fix stupid.'

Why would, why should both customers put up with this?  Think this hasn't happened to others?

As always, when officers do something heroic and/or of exceptional value to the community, it leads in this publication.  Always.  Not only did these officers engage in Uncommon Valor in this case, but so did a father, his wife, and their four-year-old son.  Seatbelts on.

CBS News reports:

"Officials are warning Maine residents about ice safety after a father died saving his son on Friday from a frozen pond. On the morning of Jan. 26, Kevin Howell, 51, and his 4-year-old son fell through ice as they were crossing Etna Pond in Carmel, Maine, the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office said in a news release. Howell was able to get his son out of the frozen pond and told him to get his mother, the sheriff's office said. His son was able to reach their home, 1/3 of a mile from the pond, and inform his mother, according to the sheriff's office. "The mom told the young boy to stay at home, she called 911, and she rushed to help her husband," the sheriff's office said. The mother, armed with an anchor and rope, reached the lake and secured the rope to the shore in an attempt to reach her husband but ended up falling into the frozen water, according to the sheriff's office. Penobscot Sheriff Detective Jordan Norton, who was in the area and heard the 911 call, spotted Howell's wife in the water and crawled onto the ice, pulling the mother out of the freezing water using the rope, the sheriff's office said. But Howell was nowhere to be found, according to the sheriff's office. After Norton reunited Howell's wife and son, six Maine Warden Service divers and one State Police diver arrived to assist, the sheriff's office said. After 20 minutes of searching, divers located Howell's body, according to the sheriff's office."

Uncommon Valor.  Policing at its very best.  Family at its very best.  A father at his very best who gave his life saving his son.

"In a separate incident, five people, including three children, were rescued on Saturday after their utility vehicle fell through the ice on Moose Pond in Denmark, Maine, CBS News affiliate WGME 13 reported. Officials are now warning Maine residents to be prepared with proper tools, like picks-of-life and ice chisels, before going on ice. "These are just items that we carry if we fall through the ice, we can get ourselves out easily and efficiently," Maine Game Warden Emerson Duplissie-Cyr told WGME 13. "Even having an ice chisel like this, just checking the depth of the ice or the thickness of the ice as you go out." "Continuously checking every few feet, just because where the ice is at one spot can change drastically," he added."

As always, when an officer does something heroic and/or of exceptional value to the community, it leads in this publication.  Always.  This particularly heartrending case had quite a positive outcome since it led to a career in law enforcement for a young lady who followed in his footsteps.  Seatbelts on.

CBS News reports:

"Vicki Melancon, mother of Baton Rouge Police Detective Terry Melancon Jr., lost her son in 2005 when he was fatally shot in the line of duty at the age of 32. Melancon Jr. left behind a community grateful for his sacrifice, many of whom attended a funeral procession for him. Among the mourners was 5-year-old Madalynn Jarreau, who stood along the procession holding a sign that read: "Thank you, Mr. Policeman." Vicki Melancon said when she saw Jarreau, she remembered feeling a sense of how much the community appreciated her son's sacrifice."

Indeed.  Uncommon Valor.  Law enforcement at its very best.

"A year later, Melancon met Jarreau, marking the beginning of a remarkable relationship. As Jarreau grew up, Melancon became a constant presence in her life, attending her high school and college graduations, engagement and wedding."

How about that?

"She's always been there," said Jarreau. "I don't question it. It's just Terry and God knew that we needed each other in our lives. And it's just, we are." It wasn't long before Jarreau chose to walk in Terry's footsteps, dedicating her life to law enforcement and becoming one of the newest police academy graduates at the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office. "I feel like my purpose is to carry on what he left behind," said Jarreau. Her graduation cap bore a significant message — "What's your purpose?" — a question often asked by Melancon Jr. The graduation just happened to fall on his birthday. "Terry died and that wasn't the end," Vicki Melancon said. "There was something way bigger and we have Madalynn here that is carrying that forward. And I know that that is a God thing."

Indeed.  Uncommon Valor.  Best in policing.  Best in family life.

Highly reminiscent of our outrageously bought and paid for judiciary, Llano County prosecutors, Sheriff Bill Blackburn and his criminal SS jackbooted bastards in black who continue to egregiously disgrace themselves and the badge, do as they please regardless of the law and Constitution, carefully consider the following.  It's appalling.  Runs against the grain of everything our formerly great country once stood for.  No longer.

The corruption in law enforcement seemingly has no end.  -- Even at the most respected agencies.  Without good officers, a democratic republic remains a democratic republic in name only, in reality a fascist police-state.  Fascism, nazism, national socialism defined as the pernicious blend of government, business, and religion.  'Justified' by perversion and bastardization of the latter.

ABC News(AP) reports:

"Two current and two former Massachusetts State Police troopers were among six people charged Tuesday in a scheme to allegedly take bribes including a new snowblower and driveway in exchange for giving passing scores on commercial driving tests, the U.S. attorney’s office said. The troopers are accused of falsifying records and giving preferential treatment to at least 17 drivers from May 2019 to January 2023, who were taking their commercial drivers license or CDL test. Even when the drivers failed a skills test, the troopers passed them and communicated they had done so with a text and the code word golden. Some troopers even joked in the text messages how badly a driver had performed on the test, according to the indictment."

Clearly, their oaths of of office mean nothing to these troopers.  -- To say nothing of public safety.

“In short, as is alleged in this indictment, CDLs were for sale,” Acting United States Attorney Joshua S. Levy told reporters. “Troopers were bribed with free goods to pass applicants no matter how they performed on the test.” Sgt. Gary Cederquist, 58, of Stoughton, and Trooper Joel Rogers, 54, of Bridgewater, were arrested Tuesday. Calvin Butner, 63, of Halifax, and Perry Mendes, 63, of Wareham, both retired state troopers, were arrested in Florida Monday. All four face more than 70 counts on a range of charges including conspiracy to falsify records, extortion and making false statements. Two others, Eric Mathison, 47, of Boston and Scott Camara, 42, of Rehoboth, were also implicated in the scheme."

Sad, isn't it?

"Cederquist, Rogers, Mathison and Camera made their initial appearance Tuesday afternoon and pleaded not guilty to the charges. Butner and Mendes were expected to make appearances at a later date. A phone number could not be found for any of the six and their lawyers did not respond for a request for comment. Cederquist, who also is accused of helping four state troopers get commercial drivers licenses, is accused of accepting a new driveway worth $10,000 and a snowblower valued at $2,000 and a $750 granite mailbox. Cederquist also asked for a shed and a plunge pool in exchange for passing drivers."

Have there been any casualties suffered on the road by the public as a result of this scheme?  If so, has the participant in the scheme been charged with murder, manslaughter, physical injury, etc.?

“Let me be clear. Those named in this indictment that have lost their moral compass and they will be held accountable” Michael Krol, special agent in charge for Homeland Security Investigations New England, said. “Their actions, however, should not tarnish the reputation of an entire institution especially for the overwhelming majority of public servants in the Massachusetts State Police and fire service who serve the citizens of our commonwealth day in and day out with pride, honor and integrity.”

The above lacks credibility.  Here's why:

"The allegations are the latest scandal to hit the the state police. Forty-six current and retired troopers who worked for the now disbanded Troop E, which patrolled the Massachusetts Turnpike, were implicated in a scheme in which they collected overtime pay for shifts they either did not work or did not complete from 2015 until 2017, authorities said. Often, they said, the troopers issued falsified traffic tickets to make it appear as if they had been on duty. The allegations also raise concerns about the integrity of a licensing system set up to certify commercial drivers, since a majority of those taken the test in Massachusetts fail. The latest data from 2022, federal officials said, showed a pass rate of 41%."

Sad, isn't it?  Think this isn't a threat to public safety?

"In 2019, the system came under fire after Volodymyr Zhukovsky, a commercial truck driver, crashed into a group of motorcyclists in northern New Hampshire, causing the death seven motorcyclists. Zhukovskyy’s commercial driving license should have been revoked in Massachusetts at the time of the crash because of a drunken driving arrest in Connecticut about two months earlier. Connecticut officials alerted the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles, but Zhukovskyy’s license wasn’t suspended due to a backlog of out-of-state notifications about driving offenses."

Inexcusable.

“There are a lot of problems on the roads these — road rage and other things like that. This unfortunately will add to people's level of concern,” Levy said. “It's concerning to me just as someone driving on the roads that this happened... You hope that something like this cleans up a system where there has been such serious allegations of misconduct.” Since last year, state police said they have made a number of reforms to the commercial drivers license unit including requiring body cameras be worn during exams, increasing frequency of unannounced visits unit by supervisors to examiners at training sites as well as developing new training procedures and a curriculum. “The Department condemns the actions of the four current and former CDL Unit members as alleged in the federal indictment and our internal affairs investigation," Colonel John Mawn Jr., the interim superintendent, said in a statement. "The alleged misconduct of those defendants is the antithesis of and in stark contrast to the values, character, and integrity exhibited by the overwhelming majority of our Troopers every day in service to the public.”

Murder.  Six shits to the back.  Never ends.  ABC News reports:

"Opening statements began Wednesday in the trial of a former sheriff's deputy charged in the 2020 fatal shooting of a 23-year-old Black man who was entering his grandmother's home in Columbus, Ohio. The trial begins more than three years after Casey Goodson Jr.'s death. Jason Meade, a former deputy with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office (FCSO), was charged with murder and reckless homicide in December 2021 in connection with the shooting. Meade, who is white, has pleaded not guilty to the charges. "Six shots in the back," special prosecutor Gary Shroyer said in his opening statement Wednesday. "All fired by the defendant into the back of Casey Goodson with no reasonable basis for the defendant to perceive a threat by Casey. It's an unjustified shooting. Casey was only 23 years old at the time the defendant killed him. [Meade] was a Franklin County County Deputy at the time. Casey's death is a tremendous loss to his family."

Needless to say, this trial will be carefully followed.

In follow-up to a case covered here and elsewhere, The Washington Post reports:

"The New Mexico Justice Department says it will not criminally prosecute three police officers who went to the wrong house when responding to a call last year and fatally shot the armed homeowner as he opened the door. Deputy Attorney General Greer E. Staley said in a letter dated Friday that an expert report had found the Farmington police officers’ use of deadly force was “lawful” in light of the threat they faced from Robert Dotson, 52, and then his wife, who were both armed. Department spokesperson Lauren Rodriguez said in a statement Wednesday that there was “no basis” for criminally prosecuting the officers “after a careful review of the facts.”

Nazi justice in a de facto fascist police-state.

"Last September, Dotson’s family sued the city of Farmington and the three officers involved in the incident, Daniel Estrada, Dylan Goodluck and Waylon Wasson. The lawsuit alleged that the officers “acted unreasonably” and “applied excessive, unnecessary force” in fatally shooting Dotson — while knowing they may have been at the wrong residence. Police realized they were at wrong house before killing man, video shows. Body-camera footage released just more than a week after the shooting late on April 5 last year showed the officers talking about how they were not sure whether they were at the correct address while responding to a domestic violence call. According to a police statement issued the day after the shooting, when there was no answer to their knock on the door after they identified themselves as police officers, the officers asked the dispatcher to call the party that made the initial report to ask them to come to the front door. They then discussed whether they were at the right address. When Dotson opened the screen door and began to raise his gun, police opened fire, body-cam footage showed. After Dotson was shot, his wife, Kimberly, opened fire on the officers, the police statement at the time said. Police then returned fire. “Once she realized that the individuals outside the residence were officers, she put the gun down and complied with the officer’s commands,” the statement said, adding that Dotson’s wife was not injured. Dotson was struck by 12 bullets and pronounced dead the next day, the family’s lawsuit said."

The jackbooted bastards protected and coddled:

"The family’s lawsuit filed last year said that officers did not knock loudly, and the announcement identifying themselves as police “could not be heard and was not heard upstairs.” When Dotson opened his front door, taking his gun for personal protection, he “was blinded by police flashlights,” the document said. “The police did not announce themselves, and Mr. Dotson had no idea who was in his yard shining bright lights at him.” Dotson’s wife came downstairs to find him “lying in his blood in the doorway” — and, not knowing the identity of the people in her front yard, “fired outside at whoever had shot her husband,” the lawsuit alleged. As the officers announced themselves after opening fire at her, she “told them that someone had shot her husband and requested their help,” it continued. “She did not realize even at that moment that the three police officers had killed her husband.”

Nazi justice.

In follow-up to yet another murder perpetrated by the jackbooted bastards in blue covered repeatedly here and elsewhere, NPR News(AP) reports:

"About 21 hours of newly released video and audio are revealing more about what first responders including the five fired police officers charged in the violent beating death of Tyre Nichols did and said the night Nichols was pulled over and mortally injured. The dozens of recordings were made public Tuesday by Memphis city officials based on a state judge's order, which came down the same day that former officer Desmond Mills Jr. pleaded guilty in November to federal charges in the case that sparked outrage around the world and intensified calls for police reform. City officials also plan to release additional written documents in two weeks. Mills also intends to plead guilty in state court and could testify against his four ex-colleagues — Tadarrius Bean, Demetrius Haley, Emmitt Martin and Justin Smith — who remain charged with civil rights violations in federal court and second-degree murder and other offenses in state court. They have pleaded not guilty. The recordings released Tuesday add hours of context to the police video released weeks after the January 2023 traffic stop, which showed the five officers beating Nichols as he yelled for his mother, steps from his house. The new material shows what officers and others did and said before, during and after the beating. Much of their comments suggest officers and paramedics appeared fixated with the idea that he was high on drugs. Medics administered Naloxone to reverse a potential opioid overdose as Nichols slouched, unresponsive, after officers propped him up against a car. One emergency medical technician even claimed, "He's not injured. He's just high." Nichols' autopsy later detected only low levels of alcohol and THC, the active ingredient in marijuana, in his system."

Sad, isn't it?

"Two EMTs and a fire lieutenant were fired in the Nichols case. As for what prompted the traffic stop, Bean's bodycam recorded another officer saying that Nichols "drove into oncoming traffic" and "swerved like he's going to hit my car" after they turned on sirens and ordered him to stop. But the same officer also said Nichols "stopped at the red light and put his turn signal on." The police chief later said the department couldn't substantiate any reason for the stop. The officer said they got out to pursue him and that's apparently when Nichols fled on foot towards his home, to where the beating would occur, less than a block from his front door. Other officers recorded themselves saying Nichols had tried to grab an officer's gun, which none of the videos clearly show, and that he resisted arrest, even though Nichols appeared to be complying with their commands. Later, some officers appeared perplexed that no drugs were in the car Nichols was driving. One suggested he could have thrown something while he was running. Mills' body camera also recorded how he and his superior officer spoke to Nichols' mother and stepfather. When the stepfather answered the door and asked what Nichols is in custody for, Lt. Dewayne Smith appeared not to know until Mills said "DUI." Then the lieutenant repeated "DUI." "I'm trying to find out if you know him to take any kind of drugs or narcotics or anything," the lieutenant said. When Nichols' mother, RowVaughn Wells, answered "no," he said, "because he appeared to be on something other than alcohol." Wells then said Nichols smokes a little marijuana, and Lt. Smith responded: "He on something more than marijuana." Wells then tried repeatedly to learn where her son was, but the lieutenant was evasive, saying he is "with the paramedics" and "they got him a little ways from here" and "he's in the neighborhood." Finally he told her, "He's going to go to jail after he gets some medical treatment."

The jackbooted bastard was certainly desperate to justify the murder:

"As they walked away, Mills told the lieutenant he believed the parents "know more than what they are saying" and seemed suspicious because they didn't open their screen door. Then he said, "I just hope ... he just needs to make it, that's all. He needs to make it. He ain't looking too good." Dewayne Smith, who is not facing criminal charges, retired before police would have fired him. About an hour after officers pulled Nichols from his car, his mother showed up at the intersection of the initial traffic stop, along with his stepfather, and started asking Officer Preston Hemphill what happened. When Hemphill said Nichols fought with officers, the mother sounded incredulous. "My son? Not Tyre," she said, later adding, "That don't sound like my son. I'm sorry, sir." Hemphill fired his stun gun during the traffic stop but didn't follow Nichols to where other officers pummeled him. Hemphill was fired but isn't facing criminal charges. Attorneys for Nichols' family said they are reviewing the additional video, but expect it will "affirm what we have said from day one: that there was absolutely no justification for the officers' brutal and inhumane actions." "We will continue our unflinching look at this tragedy and stand strongly with Tyre's family in their continued grief and fight for justice," attorneys Ben Crump and Antonio Romanucci said in a news release."

Get this:

"The Associated Press requested comments from attorneys for the former officers facing charges. Attorneys for Mills, Haley and Justin Smith declined to comment. Nichols died in a hospital Jan. 10, 2023 three days after he was kicked, punched and hit with a police baton. Nichols was Black. The five officers also are Black. The four who remain charged face federal trial in May and state court trial in August. Following the January 2023 release of police body camera and pole camera footage, the city had planned to release about 20 more hours of video, audio and documents including the officers' personnel files, but the judge granted the defense's motion for a delay "until such time as the state and the defendants have reviewed this information." A coalition of media organizations, including The Associated Press, cited the First Amendment in pressing to have them made public. Lawyers for the former officers argued that their rights to a fair trial must be recognized and protected. The U.S. Department of Justice opened a "patterns and practices" investigation into how Memphis Police Department officers use force and conduct arrests, and whether the department in the majority-Black city engages in racially discriminatory policing. In March, the Justice Department announced a separate review concerning use of force, de-escalation strategies and specialized units in the Memphis Police Department. Also, Nichols' mother has sued the city and its police chief over her son's death."

The following loss of constitutional rights and liberties, resulting horrendous consequences, is directly due to the nazi element in the Republican Party.  -- A party desperate to force its perverse ideological and religious beliefs on the rest of us.  Fascism, nazism, national socialism defined as the pernicious blend of government, business, and religion.  'Justified' by perversion and bastardization of the latter.

CBS News reports:

"Warning: This story contains graphic language and content that some may find disturbing. When Brittany Watts woke up at her Warren, Ohio, home on Sept. 22, 2023, she knew she was miscarrying. Her 22-week-old fetus had been declared nonviable by doctors several days prior. Bleeding and in pain, she spent a total of 19 hours in the hospital over a span of two days, begging to be induced. But an ethics group at Mercy Health - St. Joseph Warren Hospital had concerns about Ohio's abortion laws and how they applied to Watts' case, ultimately resulting in hours of delayed care."

Surprised?  Time to wake up.

"Watts, frustrated with the lengthy wait times, said she left the hospital both days against medical advice. She said she miscarried alone in her own bathroom."

Gets worse.  Get this:

"When Watts returned to Mercy Health for medical care following the miscarriage she says a nurse rubbed her back and told her everything would be okay before calling the police at the direction of the hospital's risk management team and asking them to go to her home to find the fetus."

Nothing quite like goddamned hypocrisy, is there?

"As Watts recovered in her hospital bed, officers from the Warren City Police Department searched her home. They eventually found the fetus, lodged in the traps of the toilet. Watts was charged with abuse of a corpse – a felony charge that was ultimately dismissed earlier this month after an Ohio grand jury declined to indict her."

What the hell were the jackbooted bastards in blue thinking?  How they get their cookies off?

"CBS News reviewed more than 600 pages of medical records as well as 911 transcripts and police records to understand what happened, and why Watts believes doctors, police and the state of Ohio failed her. "I don't want any other woman to go through what I had to go through," Watts told CBS News in an exclusive interview. Brittany Watts is 34 and has lived in Warren, Ohio, her entire life. The former steel town sits about 15 miles northwest of Youngstown and is home to nearly 40,000, according to 2020 U.S. Census Bureau data. The soft-spoken medical receptionist describes herself as quiet and mild-mannered, "most of the time just minding my own business." After learning she was pregnant, she kept the news to herself, fearing she'd disappoint her mother, with whom she is very close. So when Watts began leaking fluid on Sept. 19, 2023, she immediately went to see her doctor who confirmed her water had broken. She didn't know the events that occurred over the next four days would consume her next four months. "I went to my OBGYN once I started bleeding. And so I'm thinking something's not right," Watts said. "She got me on the table and started examining me, and she said 'I can feel the baby's head.'" Watts' doctor informed her that the fetus was unviable, and sent her to Mercy Health – St. Joseph Warren Hospital, just across the parking lot from her office. Despite it being a short, walkable distance, she required Watts to travel by ambulance. That's when it really set in for Watts that the situation was very serious."

Outrageously, the foot-dragging continued unabated.

"I waited in the hospital, waiting for the doctor to come in or call. And I kept asking whoever would come in to check my vitals – I said, 'Have you heard anything?' And they were like, 'Oh, well, we're still waiting, we're still waiting." Medical records show Watts was monitored for about eight hours in the hospital. But after becoming frustrated with the long wait and what she felt was a lack of answers, Watts left the hospital, despite doctors warning her of potentially fatal complications, including risk of hemorrhage, sepsis and death. "I was frustrated," Watts said. "I felt ignored. And I left against medical advice. And then I returned the next day thinking that there was going to be an induction or something." Watts returned to the hospital the next day, where she received care for about 11 hours. Medical records show she was given an IV and was waiting to be induced – but that never happened. Watts says she was unaware that doctors were waiting to hear back from the hospital's ethics committee before induction due to concerns about Ohio's abortion laws."

She could have died.  Think this good, acceptable medical care?

"Records show that around the same time, a different doctor at the hospital examined Watts, and confirmed she had an abruption and premature rupture of membrane. Her white blood cell count was more than twice what it had been in the past, doctors said, and she needed immediate treatment before she found herself "on death's door." "Because of this, mom is at great risk if she completely abruption in terms of hemorrhaging and dying. It does not make sense to me to wait till mom has bleeding to death before we deliver a nonviable pregnancy despite the fact that there is a heartbeat," the doctor wrote. He continued, "I feel we would be endangering the mother by waiting for hemorrhage and/or sepsis or her to stop to the fetal heartbeat." According to medical documents, staff at Mercy Health - St. Joseph Warren Hospital had also become concerned about Watts' use of the phrase "abortion."

Clearly, this woman's medical best interests came second to hospital and hospital staff best interests:

"A note from the clinical ethics committee consultation, issued around 3:30 p.m. local time, reads in part, "Extensive conversation with [REDACTED] re: staff concerns about Brittany's verbalization to staff that she wishes to terminate the pregnancy and continues to mention she feels strongly that she is getting or consenting to an abortion. To clarify, ethics supports induction of this patient if it is the professional judgment of the physicians that Brittany is at high risk of bleeding and or serious infection that could lead to death. To be clear with Brittany, if induction occurs, there should be a well documented conversation with her (informed consent) that the procedure is only to prevent harm to her, and is not intended to terminate a potentially viable pregnancy." Ohio law bans abortions after 22 weeks, with exceptions for life-saving care. Watts, according to records, was 21 weeks and six days pregnant. "While the legislative environment has placed an increased focus on the necessity and importance of ethical reviews, our mission compels us to provide compassionate care to all," Mercy Health said in a statement to CBS News."

Clearly, 'compassionate care' was not provided this woman.

"According to The National Library of Medicine, hospital ethics committees or consultation services exist in nearly every hospital in the U.S. and are tasked with addressing ethical issues in patient care. The groups are typically made up of physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, case managers, social workers, professional bioethics, chaplains, clergy, and patient and community representatives. They generally report to administrative leadership or the board of directors of the institution. Watts says she was never told the ethics committee was involved at all, and she was unaware of why the process was taking so long. Three hours after the committee issued its consultation report, she still had not been induced, according to the records. Records also show there was a flurry of calls to the ethics committee around 6 p.m. local time to try to iron out any remaining issues. But by 6:40 p.m. Watts had become frustrated, and told a nurse that she could be waiting at home instead. The nurse told her they were awaiting only had one more call, but Watts had had enough. By 7:20 p.m., reports show she had left her hospital room and checked out. Watts returned to her home, where she says she had dinner with her mother, who noticed she was in pain. Watts told her she had a stomach ache, and wanted to rest. She tried to distract herself by watching TV before going to bed."

The following is horrendous.

"On Sept. 22, just before 6 a.m. local time, Watts said she felt something happening. "I get up, and I go to the bathroom. I sit down on the toilet and I'm just, I'm doubled over. And then that's when I hear 'splash.'" Watts looked down, and saw the toilet was filled to the brim with blood and tissue. She immediately began cleaning herself up – using disinfecting wipes and her shower to wash off the blood. "I tried to make an appearance of the bathroom being clean. I grabbed a plunger because the toilet was kind of to the top," she said. "I grabbed a bucket and I just tried to scoop out water and tissue and all the matter. And then I take the bucket outside and I dump the bucket." "All while thinking, 'Wow, did that really just happen?' in my mind. I'm like, 'No, this is a dream. I'm dreaming.' But it really happened. Like I'm really awake right now. This is really what life is like now." After cleaning up, Watts tried to go about her day. She went to a previously scheduled hair appointment, but as the hairdresser began perming her hair, she noticed Watts was uncomfortable and expressed concern for her health. Watts told her she was "just menstruating," but the hairdresser insisted that she see a doctor and arranged a ride to the hospital. When she arrived, Watts was given immediate medical attention. She was given an IV – dehydrated after losing so much blood."

She could have died.  Yet, that clearly meant nothing to the hospital and hospital staff.

"The nurse comes in and she's rubbing my back and talking to me and saying, 'Everything's going to be okay. You're going to be okay,'" Watts said. "Little do I know, there's a police officer that comes into the room a short time later. And I'm wondering, 'Why is a police officer coming in here? I don't recall doing anything wrong.' And little do I know the nurse comforting me and saying that everything was gonna be okay was the one who called police." The call to police was made at the direction of the hospital's risk management team. CBS News obtained the 911 call, in which the nurse tells the dispatcher that she was treating a "mother who had a delivery at home and came in without the baby." "She says the baby's in her backyard in a bucket," the nurse told the dispatcher. "And I need to have someone go find this baby or direct me on what I need to do." The nurse told the dispatcher she believed the bucket was near Watts' trash. "Oh, I'm going to be sick," the dispatcher responded. "Did she say if the baby was alive or not?" "She said she didn't wanna look," the nurse said. "She said she didn't want the baby, and she didn't look." Watts told CBS News she never said that she didn't want her baby. "I said I did not want to look. I never said I didn't want my baby. I would have never said something like that. It just makes me so angry that somebody would put those type of words in my mouth to make me seem so callous. And so, so hateful."

No shit.

"Dispatchers for the Warren Police Department called the nurse back for more information. "It's evident she did give birth. We still have a retained placenta and she was our patient here on Wednesday – pregnant and left," the nurse said. "We re-admitted her and we were talking her through everything and then she just disappeared." "Okay," the dispatcher said. "We have officers on the way to the residence first." "If they find it, can they please bring it to us?" the nurse asked. "Because we can dispose of it properly, like through the Ohio Department of Health." A Warren Police Department officer went to Watts' hospital room, and interviewed her for over an hour. Other officers went to her home to search for the fetus. Watts was alerted they were at her home by the doorbell camera. At first, police said they couldn't find it. It wasn't in the bucket. Watts' attorney, Traci Timko, tells CBS News that an officer finally submerged his hand into the toilet and felt the fetus. "The testimony was, 'felt feet in the trap of the toilet,'" Timko said. "That's where the fetus was. Brit didn't know where the fetus was. She was never able to see it." Watts confirmed she never saw the fetus. In order to send the remains to the coroner's office, police had to remove the entire toilet."

Gets worse.  Get this:

"After being discharged from the hospital, Watts returned home to rest and recover. On Oct. 5, she says she was asleep when her mother got the phone call from police. "She comes in my room and she's in a panic. And I'm thinking something happened to a loved one or a family friend or something," Watts said. "And she's saying, 'Can I bring her down to the station? Can I bring her down to the station?' I'm like, 'Bring who down to the station?' And she gets off the phone and she said, 'There's a warrant out for your arrest.' And I said, 'For what?'" Watts says the police officer who had interviewed her at the hospital came to her house, put her in handcuffs, and took her down to the police station. Watts was arrested by the Warren Police Department and charged with abuse of a corpse – a felony carrying up to a $2,500 fine and up to one year in prison. She pleaded not guilty in court."

Outrageous bullshit.  What could the jackbooted bastards possibly been thinking?

"Watts says she left the police station the same day she was charged, and returned home where she tried to process the charges, and the idea of going to prison. Ohio law defines "abuse of a corpse" as the treating of a human corpse in a way that would outrage reasonable family or community sensibilities. Her attorney says it's a very rare charge and that she struggled to understand why police were involved at all given that the corpse in question was fetal remains."

No question.

"In the course of representing her, I was met time and time again with, 'You can't flush a fetus,'" Timko said. "And I would say, 'What do you want her to do with it?' To which there's no response."

Not surprising.

"The Warren police department did not return CBS News' request for comment."

Surprised?  Not possible to credibly defend the indefensible.

"Timko says the heart of the legal issue involves the definition of a corpse. "Fetal remains are defined as a product of human conception. Under Ohio law, they are disposed of as medical waste," she said. "Legally speaking, there's no definition of the term corpse directly. So we had to go in a roundabout way to establish a corpse does not include fetal remains. The state defining corpse in a clearer way would take the ability for prosecutors away to criminalize a pregnancy outcome in this manner." Watts says the Warren City Prosecutor's Office accused her in court of disregarding the fetus and simply going on about her day, citing her hair appointment. "What do you want me to do in that situation?" Watts said, referring to the prosecutor's argument. "Don't you go about your day? I mean, yes, you seek medical attention, but miscarriages happen all the time. Whether you're at home, whether you're at work, whether you're out in the general public, or at the store, you never know when things like this are going to happen. So who are you to say that I went on about my day? You don't know what I did. You don't know where I was. You just know that I went and got my hair done, but do you know where I was after that? No. You don't."

No shit.

"The Warren Municipal Court sent the case to the Trumbull County Prosecutor's Office on Nov. 14. Trumbull County Prosecuting Attorney Dennis Watkins says his office had no choice but to send the case to a grand jury, which was tasked with determining whether to return an indictment on the felony charge. On Jan. 11, the Trumbull County grand jury declined to indict Watts."

Surprised?

"Watkins issued a statement reading in part, "After a careful evaluation of both sides' positions, interviewing witnesses, and researching and applying the law, believe that Brittany Watts did not violate the Ohio Criminal Statue of Abuse of a Corpse as alleged in the complaint. We respectfully disagree with the lower court's application of the law." A rally had been planned that day outside of the courthouse as a show of support for Watts. After the charge was dismissed, the rally turned into a celebration. "I'm truly honored and grateful that all of you have come to support me. And we are not done fighting," Watts told the crowd of about 150 people. Watts says her focus now is getting to work on making sure the laws are changed and people are educated on what to do during miscarriages. "As the old saying goes," she said, "history repeats itself. I don't want it to happen in this case."

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.  Forfeiture of liberty.  At the hands of outrageously corrupt and abusive government.

The Aryan arrogance of the Texas Attorney General knows no bounds.  Fascism, nazism, national socialism defined as the pernicious blend of government, business, and religion.  'Justified' by perversion and bastardization of the latter.

CBS News reports:

"Texas' attorney general on Friday forcefully rejected a request from the Biden administration to grant federal immigration officials full access to a park along the southern border that the state National Guard has sealed off with razor wire, fencing and soldiers."

Raw nazism.  Is Mr. Paxton following in the foot steps of the Trump nazi?  Clearly, sadly, Biden and fellow Democrats have gutlessly failed to effectively stand up to Trump and the nazi element currently ruling the roost in the Republican Party.

"For three weeks, the federal government and Texas have clashed over Shelby Park, a city-owned public park in the border town of Eagle Pass that was once a busy area for illegal crossings by migrants. Texas National Guard soldiers deployed by Gov. Greg Abbott took control of Shelby Park earlier in January and have since prevented Border Patrol agents from processing migrants in the area, which once served as a makeshift migrant holding site for the federal agency."

The following was clearly a gutless mistake on the part of Biden and his henchmen who to date have failed to adequately address unabated migration:

"The Department of Homeland Security, which oversees the Border Patrol, had given Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton until Friday to say the state would relent and allow federal agents inside Shelby Park. On Friday, however, Paxton rebuffed that demand, saying Texas state officials would not allow DHS to turn the area into an "unofficial and unlawful port of entry." "Your request is hereby denied," Paxton wrote in his letter."

Give a goddamned nazi an inch and the bastard takes a mile.  Sadly, the following is abject bullshit, glaringly unconstitutional:

"Paxton pledged to continue "Texas's efforts to protect its southern border against every effort by the Biden Administration to undermine the State's constitutional right of self-defense."

The Aryan arrogance of the nazi element in the Republican Party knows no bounds.  Continues unabated:

"Inside Shelby Park, Texas guardsmen have been setting barriers to impede the passage of migrants hoping to cross into the U.S. illegally, and instructing them to return to Mexico across the Rio Grande. The Texas Department of Public Safety also recently started arresting some adult migrants who enter the park on state criminal trespassing charges. Abbott and other Texas officials have argued the state's actions are designed to discourage migrants from entering the country illegally, faulting the federal government for not doing enough to deter unauthorized crossings. But the Biden administration said Texas is preventing Border Patrol agents from patrolling the Rio Grande, processing migrants and helping those who may be in distress."

The fact Biden and his henchmen have miserably failed to solve the migration problem does not justify nor enable the state to usurp federal authority.

"Immigration enforcement is a federal responsibility. Texas state officials are not legally authorized nor trained to screen migrants for asylum, arrest them for immigration violations or deport them to a foreign country. However, Abbott signed a law last month that he hopes will allow Texas officials to arrest migrants on illegal entry state-level charges and force them to return to Mexico. The Justice Department is seeking to block that law before it takes effect in March."

Rightfully, so.

Readers are reminded a Republican-owned U.S. Supreme Court backed Biden on the following issue:

"The Supreme Court earlier this week allowed Border Patrol to cut the razor wire Texas has assembled near the riverbanks of the Rio Grande, pausing a lower court order that had barred the agency from doing so. The razor wire in Shelby Park has remained in place, however, since federal officials have not been granted full access to the area. While the Supreme Court has not ruled on Texas' seizure of Shelby Park, that dispute could also end up being litigated in federal court if the Biden administration sues the state over the matter."

Needs to do so.  Immediately.  Stand up to the goddamned nazi element in the Republican Party.  Fascism, nazism, national socialism defined as the pernicious blend of government, business, and religion.  'Justified' by perversion and bastardization of the latter.

"While the White House has called his policies inhumane and counterproductive, Abbott has argued he is defending his state from an "invasion," and his actions in Eagle Pass have received the support of other Republican governors across the country."

Sounds like Adolf Hitler reincarnated in the Trump nazi.  Thousands and thousands of our best and brightest died fighting this scourge eight decades ago.  Second World War European Theater.

"U.S. officials processed more than 302,000 migrants at and in between ports of entry along the southern border last month, an all-time high that shattered all previous records, according to official government data published Friday. Illegal border crossings have since plummeted, a trend U.S. officials have attributed to increased Mexican immigration enforcement and a historical lull after the holidays."

Nowhere near good enough.

The effort to expose Wells Fargo egregious deceptive trade practices continues.  Several years ago to determinedly apply renewed pressure on our truly worthless, egregiously self-serving Texas Attorney General, now Governor, an excoriating email was sent to the bastard. Copies of which were also passed on to both offending Wells Fargo officers. A copy was also sent to the Davis campaign and others at the time.

Voters did have a right to know as Attorney General, the GOP candidate for Governor apparently selectively investigated, or not, bona fide complaints filed by citizens against banks too big to fail.  Possibly, Wells Fargo could have lined his pockets in some fashion.  That has yet to be determined.

The bastard and his office, no matter what, failed to respond to the complaint originally snail mailed several years ago.  This material, figuratively targeting Wells Fargo and the governor 'wannabe' now Governor, had been posted and can be found by scrolling all the way down and clicking on the links well below.  ... Governor? Wells Fargo bribe you to look the other way?

Will continue to do all I can to publicly expose this to all, both in this publication and elsewhere.  Have done precisely that with the following email sent to Matt Turner, Matt Turner Video Services, Marble Falls, TX.  A copy of it was also sent to Wells Fargo officer Amanda Wright.  She has, indeed, been promoted  branch manager. Reverse Darwinism.  Survival of the unfittest.

This young woman has indeed been rewarded by the Wells Fargo corporate management suite for engaging in criminal deceptive trade practices and her undying loyalty to her corporate masters. The process to update those already informed of this fiasco has finally been completed. This latest material can be found by clicking onWells Fargo Deceptive Trade Practices Salvo 240, 2-8-19.

The name of this publication was changed some fifteen years ago from The Llano Ledger to Liberty In Peril.  The reason?  Simple.  Cowardly failure of this community to stand up to tyranny that has only exponentially worsened the last decade and a half.  Clearly, demonstrated as well by the cowardly failure of businesses to financially support this publication.  Either through advertising or other financial support.  Too afraid doing so would enrage the bastards who run and own this hellhole County.

-- Despite the fact these businesses were, and are, being egregiously f--ked by these very same bastards. Tough, isn't it?  Impossible to entertain any sympathy for cowardice, however.  Especially in view of the fact this writer has placed himself in great jeopardy taking on these corrupt, abusive, inept criminal bastards. Alone.

Exactly, why you see no investigative material highly critical of these sons of bitches in other local rags.  Sadly, cowardly, all advertising income immediately dries up.  Consequently, the bastards continue their criminal chicanery with impunity.  On a rampage.  Thus, you get what you truly deserve.  Always.  Precisely, why this earlier name change to Liberty In Peril remains appropriate.  -- Despite the fact this writer has not yet left the area.  Ten years after originally intending to do so.  Thirty years in this goddamned godforsaken hellhole.

This writer, then and now, remains primarily interested in state, federal, and international issues.  Another reason for this publication name change.  Despite the fact I stupidly cluelessly remain here, local issues must be addressed.  Can't be ignored.  That's where you come in dear readers.  Have the courage to inform this writer of local abuse, corruption, ineptness you are aware of, have personally experienced.

... Information these criminal bastards do all they can to conceal, cover up.  Otherwise, how can they effectively sustain the charade and intended result? Loot confiscation through a boot heel on the throat of the citizenry.

The only way, short of an unwanted dreaded second American revolution, to force badly-needed change is to expose all this to the light of day.  These bastards are beginning to understand they have a problem.  No question, the growing rage of those they've abused, looted, egregiously f--ked.  It's time to stand up.  Expose this corruption to glaring sunlight.  Otherwise, as fools, cowards, you will remain under their thumb.  From the loftiest business owner to those on the bottom of the food chain.  Wake up.  Grow a pair.

Still don't think that likely to happen.  After all, you're bought and paid for.  Owned. Not only by your government masters, but their masters.  The corporate management suite.  Your employers.  Think not? Wake up.   You're human chattel.  Corporate-owned, bought and paid for.  Precisely, why you cowardly, compliantly, literally bare your asses for corporate inspection by the company doctor.  Willingly, compliantly, cowardly piss in a cup under employer supervision.  To sit in front of a keyboard or stock shelves all day.  You have no control of your lives.  You're owned.  Forget?  For a measly salary, no job security, reduced to no benefits.  At a time of record corporate profits and cash reserves.

Then, you gallingly complain about the oppression as you tolerate egregious theft of your labor. Not only by your corporate masters, but their bought and paid for government lackeys.  Too cowardly to stand up, allow disclosure of your identity when you rightfully complain to this publication of being mercilessly f--ked. Some of you falsely arrested, criminally assaulted, bogusly fined for 'offenses' you did not commit.  To line County coffers.  Keep the peasants in line and under control.  A fascist police-state. Nazi America.

Again, yet another reason why this publication is called Liberty In Peril.  Most galling? Nothing changes if you fail to step up and challenge corrupt, abusive, inept authority.  Too afraid, cowardly compliant to let the bastards know who you are.  Did it ever occur to the cowards out there if the identity of the accuser is kept under wraps the bastards will falsely claim it's all made up by this publication?  Thus, conveniently killing all credibility. Wake up.

Cowardice is unbecoming, unworthy of our formerly great country.  Insult to injury?  There are the hopelessly deranged who believe the chicanery reported here to be manufactured anyway.  No matter the effort.  No matter the research.  No matter the proof.  Wake up.  This writer cannot do it alone.  Snowball's chance in hell.  Then again, cowardice, delusion is always amply, justly rewarded.  Always. You continue to 'enjoy' the very best government money can buy.  Literally.
