Publisher's Note: This publication receives no financial support through advertising.  Although shaken down, looted, and abused by corrupt government, area businesses remain unwilling to stand up.  Locals are too gutless to donate financially, cowardly fearing retribution.  For this publication to survive, national readers need to contribute.  Liberty In Peril is, has been, and will always remain beholden to NO ONE. -- Precisely why there is no financial assistance.  ... From day of launch and certainly a no-brainer to this very day, firmly resolved to walk away first rather than compromise principle. -- To the chagrin of many and delight of few.    T.C. (5-7-13).

For new readers:  Fascism, nazism, national socialism defined as the pernicious blend of government, business, and religion.  'Justified' by perversion and bastardization of the latter.

No matter what, no matter where, this publication will remain up and running.  For it to remain centered here, however, financial and/or material support must be provided.  Status quo, unsustainable. Time to step up.  Now.

... Hey, Sheriff? Is it true Llano County Attorney Becky Lange has advised you to stay out of the "Berardi Property Rights Denial-Damage To Pace Arrow-Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764" fiasco?  That right, Bill?  Isn't that obstruction of justice?  Also true your deputies have advised the Bolens to accept the status quo and not force the no-trespassing issue with Greene?  If so, isn't that also obstruction and official oppression?  When will you do your job, Bill?  As an elected official, you answer to the public, forget?  -- No honor?  ... No honor at all? If the foregoing allegations are indeed true, didn't you swear an oath to uphold the law and Constitution?  Why aren't you doing so?  No guts?

Your deputy has been accused of abusing authority.  What action have you taken other than ignore the complaint?  Why aren't both Rodriguez and the County Attorney under criminal investigation?  The County Attorney appears to be obstructing justice, accepting the word of Greene in lieu of two surveyor companies who strongly assert otherwise.  Both the County Attorney and District Attorney have ignored complaints.  Par for the course in Llano County, isn't it?  Failed to do their jobs.  No surprise there, right, Bill?  Both receiving 'special consideration' up to and/or including a bribe from Greene?  Regardless, clearly, no justice in Nazi Llano County.  Bottom line?  Desperate need for an outside criminal investigation.  Conveniently, forget?  This County is ruled by men, certainly not rule of law and the United States Constitution.

Precisely, why there is desperate need for a new federal agency whose sole function would be to investigate, arrest, charge, and prosecute criminal law enforcement, prosecutors, and judges in a special court whose only mandate would be to adjudicate such cases.  Total independence.  Until that happens, the criminal bastards who falsely believe they run and own this hell hole County will continue to do as they please.

Some salient quotes occurring later on in this edition vis a vis unfinished business County officials continue to ignore:

... "No justice.  Precisely, why there is desperate need for a new federal agency whose sole function would be to investigate, arrest, charge, and prosecute corrupt, abusive, criminal officers, prosecutors, and judges in a special court that would adjudicate only these cases.  Total independence.  The only way to rein in these criminals, particularly the murderers in blue.

Sadly, the achingly clueless bastards in law enforcement don't need a legitimate reason to kill.  Enjoy carte blanche to murder on the job.  Nearly always, with impunity.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Sue the living shit out of the jackbooted motherf--kers, the department, and the city.  Any officer engaged in, or threatening this kind of unnecessary violence needs to be criminally prosecuted.  Not protected and coddled.  Not put on paid leave, -- no more than a paid vacation.  Not sent home without pay to catch up on his beauty sleep.

Firing is egregiously insufficient.  How can the law enforcement community be trusted?  No foreign power, no terrorist organization, not even the criminal element presents a greater threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties than the criminal jackbooted bastards in law enforcement.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Madam County Attorney?  "Sonny Boy?"

These are extremely dangerous times for our formerly great country.  ... Hear the rumble?  An unwanted dreaded second American revolution catastrophically looming.  -- As our legislators and other government officials figuratively 'fiddle while Rome burns.'

Not good enough.  Nowhere near.  Short of an unwanted dreaded second American revolution, only one way for these atrocities to end.  Again, time for a new federal agency whose sole function would be to investigate, arrest, charge, prosecute corrupt, abusive, criminal officers, prosecutors, and judges in a special court whose sole function would be to adjudicate such cases.  Total independence.

Local  and state authorities are egregiously incapable of handling these cases. Tend to protect their own.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Goes with the territory, doesn't it, Bill?  Precisely, why there is no faith or trust in your criminal jackbooted bastards.  Local authorities here in Nazi Llano County have their heads figuratively, securely lodged so far up their clueless ass their eyeballs are turning inside out.  Protect and coddle your clueless, out of control officers.  Imagine that.

Unadulterated, blatant ongoing horse shit.  ... Right, Bill?  F--k these jackbooted bastards.  Aren't worth a crap.  Continually abrogate their oaths of office to protect and defend the United States Constitution.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Includes not only deputies, but the brass as well.  No principles.  No honor.  Lying, conniving, abusive, murderous jackbooted thieving thugs.  The American Civil Liberties Union needs to step up and represent the victims of abusive law enforcement.

To say nothing of innocent civilians all across our formerly great country who are victimized by abusive police.  Need far better representation than a public defender.  Forget?  It's how the bastards in government line government coffers.  All too often, looting the innocent.  Those on the bottom of the food chain.  ... Right, Sheriff?

No justice.  The American Way.  Nazi America.  When is this shit finally going to end?  All of it.  Wake up, Sheriff.  Again, where is dashcam video of the killing of Jeffrey Gray Wise, 52, of Austin by DPS and the Llano County Sheriff's Office?  Three hundred ninety nine weeks, now.  A goddamned disgrace.

Why are you still sitting on this information?  What are you hiding, Sheriff?  What is the identity of the officers who killed Wise?  Too gutless to release this information to the public that pays your salary and that of your goons?  Reportedly, there were three officers involved in the shooting.  Who the hell are they?

When will the goddamned 'law' 'enforcement' community finally stop making excuses for engaging in outrageous criminal activity including blatant murder, violent assault, sexual assault, theft, drug trafficking, etc.?  List can go on and on.  Protecting its own no matter what it does or doesn't do?  Convenient, isn't it, Sheriff?  Again, no foreign power, no terrorist organization, not even the criminal element presents a greater threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties than all branches and levels of government, -- including law enforcement.

Corruption within law enforcement remains an existential threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties.  So what else is new?  ... Right, Bill?  Same old duplicitous, aggressively stupid shit occurs right here in Nazi Llano County.  ... Doesn't it, Sheriff?

Think it'll change any time soon?  Don't hold your breath, readers.  Not how things work in Nazi America, right, Sheriff?  Highly reminiscent of how your goons operate though, isn't it, Bill?  Forget?  'Stupid is as stupid does.'  F--ked up is f--ked up no matter where, no matter how.  Problem throughout all law enforcement.

Including right here in Nazi Llano County, right, Sheriff?  Too many officers clearly have their heads securely lodged where the sun seldom shines.  Egregious insanity continues to be perpetrated by the criminal jackbooted bastards in blue.  Ongoing issue.  All over our formerly great country.

Not just in Dallas as in the Guyger case, but all over the nation.  No end to it.  Surprised?  Why?  In today's increasingly national socialist climate anything goes, right, Bill?  Live in a de facto fascist police-state, quickly transitioning to the Trump nazi's Fourth Reich.  Certainly, a problem here in Nazi Llano County, isn't it, Sheriff?  Your goons, however, aren't held accountable when they egregiously f--k up.  Ever.

Precisely why you refuse to release information on your deputies to the long-suffering public? That is, employment history, criminal background, results of drug testing, etc..  ... Got to protect your criminal jackbooted thugs preying on the citizenry with virtual impunity, right, sir?

Equally pointedly, why hasn't Llano County Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764 been held criminally accountable for egregious abuse of power involving denial of property rights to a Kingsland property owner?  To say nothing of consequent resultant physical damage done to a motor home on that property.  Why are you protecting this clueless son of a bitch, Sheriff?

Why hasn't he been prosecuted for official oppression?  Where is financial compensation for the damage this jackbooted piece of human excrement is responsible for? Ferociously pointedly, why are the District Attorney and the County Attorney continuing to protect this jackbooted piece of shit?  He and others like him present an exigent threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties.

Equally to the point, why are your jackbooted pieces of human excrement refusing to enforce Berardi's property rights?  Your goons have failed to take action against Theresa Ahrens when she tore down a no trespassing sign and barrier on Berardi's property.  Have you, your goons, and/or Madam County Attorney been bribed by Johnny Greene?

Ahrens frequently drives all the way through Berardi's property.  Coup de grace?  When Berardi complained to Llano County Deputy Idle about the trespassing, the officer's response was insane.  Said the Sheriff told him to tell Berardi since Ahrens believes she owns his property she can't be charged with trespassing.  Perfect Catch-22, right, Sheriff?  You're not fit for office, Bill.  Bribed by Johnny Greene?

Why is Theresa Ahrens allowed by your goons to dictate what vehicles can and cannot be parked on Berardi's property?  Ahrens claims she has proof the property belongs to her where the vehicle was parked.  Has failed to produce it. Surveyors say otherwise.  Back up Berardi.  Yet, your jackbooted bastards refuse to enforce Berardi's property rights.  Why?  Somebody lining somebody's pockets, Sheriff?

Ms. Ahrens micro-mini portable 'house' is parked on an unused unmarked Llano County road.  Imagine that.  Madam County Attorney well-aware.  Has done nothing.  Shit squat.  Egregiously ignored her oath of office.  Someone bribing you, Becky?  Lining your pockets, Counselor?  Paying you not to sell the unused unmarked County road to Berardi?  Doesn't the County want and need the sale money, to say nothing of the resultant tax income?

No question, County and State agencies remain determinedly, concertedly, achingly incapable of criminal investigation of their own.  Precisely, why a new federal agency desperately needs to be created whose sole function would be to investigate, arrest, charge, prosecute corrupt, abusive, criminal officers, prosecutors, and judges in a special court whose sole function would be to adjudicate only such cases.  Total independence.  Certainly, go a long, long way to cleaning up this cess pool County.  Rein in the outrageously corrupt, abusive, achingly inept, self-serving assholes who run and own this hell hole.

Sheriff, you falsely claim the Kingsland County Commissioner has the authority to resolve this ongoing property rights issue.  Clearly, doesn't.  You, Madam County Attorney, and "Sonny Boy" are certainly an egregious impediment, continue to determinedly stonewall.  Someone's pockets are being lined.  Again, where's financial compensation for the damage Llano County Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764 is directly responsible for to the Pace Arrow?  Why hasn't he been prosecuted for this damage, to say nothing of infringement of Berardi's property rights?  -- Just getting started, Sheriff.  Far more to come.

-- You're not doing your jobs, Sheriff.  You've got a loose vicious dog problem in Kingsland, Bill.  When will you and the troops finally do something about this ongoing issue?  Certainly, a recurring problem on Skyline, particularly on occasion at the intersection of Odessa.  Pedestrians, runners, and cyclists are at risk.  Too busy lining County coffers with bogus tickets?"

... Hey, Sheriff?  Reportedly, promote Llano County Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764 to Sergeant?  If true, yet another classic example of survival of the unfittest in the law enforcement community.  Readers are reminded this is the very same idiot, clueless asshole responsible for thousands of dollars of damage to the Pace Arrow as reported in each edition of this publication.  Far more to Kingsland property owner James Berardi in a property dispute.  -- A dispute engineered by Johnny Greene, apparently financed by a bribe to the former County Attorney, current District Attorney, and Sheriff.  A federal investigation of Llano County government and the aforementioned allegedly corrupt and abusive bastards in this ongoing fiasco is desperately needed.  Tim Chorney.

Counselor:

The enclosed emails were sent to the Llano County Attorney and Sheriff, respectively, vis a vis the above matter.  Remain unanswered.  The County Attorney appears to be protecting and defending the deputy at behest of Kingsland property owner Johnny Greene.  May have received some consideration from Greene up to and including a bribe.  Are the County Attorney, Greene, and the Deputy under criminal investigation?  If not, why not?

Re:  Berardi Property Rights Denial-Damage To Pace Arrow-Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764

Counselor:

As you're well aware, we have an outrageously corrupt, abusive, achingly inept Llano County Sheriff's Office here in Nazi Llano County.  Worse, you and your office aid and abet these SS jackbooted bastards in black.  The issue at the moment is the same it's been the last six months.

How is it two surveyor companies, the Appraisal District, the Tax Office, the Precinct 3 Commissioner, even the goddamned Sheriff himself now states Kingsland resident James Berardi owns the lots in contention all these months?

Yet, you ludicrously assert that's not the County's legal position.  It's not?  Why not?  You claim you're not a real estate expert.  Rather than accept the advice of two surveyor companies, the Precinct 3 Commissioner, the Appraisal District, the Tax Office, and even the Sheriff himself, you've inexplicably chosen to follow the advice of property owner Johnny Greene, -- who conveniently happens to be reportedly in the oil industry.

Question to be asked.  Could you have received any 'consideration' in return, -- up to and including a bribe?  Only way to know for sure is for the District Attorney to conduct a criminal investigation.  Apparently, there has been none.  If not, why not?

Equally pointedly, why hasn't Llano County Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764 been held criminally accountable for egregious abuse of power involving denial of property rights to this Kingsland property owner?  To say nothing of consequent resultant physical damage done to a motor home on that property.

Our achingly useless, worthless, gutless Sheriff has ignored an email vis a vis the damage this jackbooted thug is responsible for.  Interestingly, his fellow officers believe him to be an idiot.  Yet, the Sheriff continued to defend this piece of human excrement until he realized  this entire fiasco would not be swept under the carpet.

Rodriguez is indeed an idiot.  Would you believe this piece of crap ordered the motor home to be moved on to an unmarked unused Llano County road? That motor home has indeed been moved back to where it was parked before Rodriguez forced it to be moved.  Why hasn't the County paid for the cost of moving it back?  To say nothing of the damage.

Equally pointedly, why is it the County has allowed Theresa Ahrens to park and live in her tiny cottage on that very same road?  Why hasn't she been evicted by the County?  Why was she assessed taxes on an adjacent improvement she doesn't own?

Why is it, Counselor, Johnny Greene is paying for the attorney retained by Ms. Ahrens?  Is Greene attempting to make this all go away by bribery?  Greene has also informed Berardi he is going to sue.  For what?  Has Greene lost his mind?

What about Wells who installed a $4500 septic system on a lot turns out he does not own as a result of Greene, an outrageously inept County, to say nothing of the Llano County Attorney who remains equally determinedly clueless?

How about Bolen who hasn't a pot to piss in, but was nonetheless f--ked over by Greene to say nothing of an egregiously inept County, to say nothing of you and your goddamned equally incompetent office?

None of this is going away, Counselor, -- any time soon.  Will not be swept under the carpet as all the other crap going on in this hell hole County.  Not a chance.  Expect a full expose in this publication whether or not this outrageous fiasco finally gets resolved.  Including full public exposure of both the Sheriff and his jackbooted thug.

Who are they, Sheriff? Their past history?  An ongoing investigation remains a lame bullshit excuse.  How can you and your goons be trusted when you refuse to disclose information? Three hundred ninety nine weeks.  Especially, your egregious failure to disclose the identity of the officers who pulled the trigger.  To cover your sorry ass, Sheriff?  Those of your thugs?  The people have a right to know what happened, how it went down.  You don't understand that, Sheriff?  Sadly, clearly, you answer to no one.  Including taxpayers.  Especially, taxpayers.

Until you and your goons come clean, doubt will remain this was indeed a good shoot.  The longer you drag your feet, the greater the doubt.  Think not?  Wake up.  Your credibility has tanked.  Isn't getting any better as this bullshit continues unabated.  Three hundred ninety nine weeks.  Still no identification of the officers involved  ... Can't get your stories straight?  In line?  Discrepancy between LCSO and DPS? Wake up, Sheriff.  The public no longer buys the bullshit.  No longer trusts you.  On this and many, many other issues.  You have no credibility.  Absolutely, none.

Readers, this is but one of about four other highly questionable killings by law enforcement in Llano County in the last decade or so.  There was one within the City of Llano, another in a field near Fuzzy's Corner, Buchanan Dam, yet another in Point Tella, Buchanan Dam, still another in Tow.  If there are any others I may have neglected to mention, kindly email.

It's time the public be fully informed.  -- Know what we're dealing with here and how 'law' 'enforcement' operates in this hell hole County.  If these jackbooted bastards are not reined in, the life lost could be many  others courtesy of a law enforcement system that is no longer accountable to anyone.  ... Right, Sheriff?  TL?  "Sonny Boy?"  Madam County Attorney?

The Sheriff seems to have no clue the people who pay him and his goons are entitled to know whom is killing whom and why.  This shit always seems to be swept under the carpet.  Ignored.  The attitude of these jackbooted sons of bitches is trust us.  They can't be.  They've lied too many times.  Refuse to be accountable to anyone.  We live in a goddamned fascist police-state where law enforcement does as it pleases. Usually, with impunity.  This has to change.

The Texas Rangers have become rubber stamp to atrocities committed by law enforcement.  This also has to change.  No one is holding law enforcement accountable any longer.  No one.  No one in state or federal government. This is precisely why Ferguson triggered such an uproar.  There was no justice there.  None here.  None anywhere.  Officers are abusive, corrupt, inept.

Falsely ticket and arrest the innocent to line County coffers.  Court fees charged continue to be horrendous.  -- Aren't taxpayers already looted to pay these costs?  Aren't you not only double f--king those falsely accused, but taxpayers also hellaciously looted to pay the very same costs?   Yet, the criminal bastards in power in Llano continue to pile on the fees. This is nothing more than goddamned bullshit.  This money finds its way into the pockets of the corrupt, abusive bastards who falsely believe they run and own this hell hole.

Would you believe the last time the Sheriff's Office happened to be 'audited' during the Garrett regime, reportedly, auditors couldn't figure out what went where and why? Yet, surprise, surprise.  Nothing was done.  There has to be transparency.  There is none.  Why would these thieving bastards want any?  ... Right, Sheriff?  TL?  How else could they so easily steal and loot with virtual impunity?  Worse, this reinforces jackbooted power in this goddamned, godforsaken hell hole County.

The public has a right to know the histories of the Sheriff's goons.  Clearly, the Sheriff doesn't think so.  That is, where they came from.  Why they left where they were.  What is happening here is the Sheriff is using 'personnel matters' as a convenient excuse to deny the public access to the history of outrageously corrupt, abusive, inept officers who are no more than criminals themselves.

He's protecting his outrageously corrupt, abusive, inept jackbooted bastards.  Worse, the standards imposed by sheriff's offices statewide with the exception of metropolitan counties are well below those of DPS and city police departments.  Why?  So the corruption, abuse, ineptness, and outright stealing can continue unabated?  This has to change.  ... Can't have that, can we?  Sheriff?  TL?

The public should understand Llano County authorities have it all sewn up.  Did you know the Texas Attorney General does not have the authority to investigate and prosecute County authorities on his own?  The District Attorney has to call for an investigation by the Texas Rangers.  Then, the State can prosecute if it so chooses.

Consequently?  Guess what?  Nothing will happen.  Nothing ever does.  The goddamned corruption continues unabated until you, the public, pressure authorities.  Precisely, why we all enjoy the 'best' government money can buy. Literally.  Without question, the corrupt, abusive, inept sons of bitches are all bought and paid for.  Firmly clamped to the taxpayer tit.  Dependent on money looted from innocent citizens caught in their web.  Phony fines and court costs cleverly designed to f--k the innocent and enrich the pieces of shit who falsely believe they run and own Llano County. Right, Sheriff?  TL?  "Sonny Boy?"  Madam County Attorney?

Interestingly, the former Sheriff and District Attorney were reportedly forced to retire after an outrageous scandal involving a drunk driving police officer from out of town.  Including special treatment of the drunken son of a bitch that no other citizen caught doing the same would have been afforded. An honest, honorable Llano County Deputy suffered the consequences. Forget? Great officers do not last in this hell hole County. ... Right, Sheriff?  TL?  "Sonny Boy?"  Madam County Attorney?

With all ongoing abuse in this goddamned County, one thing remains for damned sure.  We're just getting started, Sheriff.  You will continue to be exposed for whom and what you and your corrupt, abusive, inept jackbooted bastards have become, truly are, not what you phonies purport to be, that is, how you continue to f--k over a public you've falsely sworn to protect and defend.  -- Exposure, the only way short of an unwanted dreaded revolution to force desperately needed change in a goddamned fascist police-state. The Fourth Reich.

Have your jackbooted thugs been tested for steroids, Sheriff?  If you've nothing to hide, Bill, release the results of all drug testing.  'Personnel matters?'  Bullshit.  Looted taxpayers have the right to know.  They're footing the bill for all this goddamned corruption, abuse, ineptness. When will you and the boys end the shakedowns?  Looting of the innocent to line County coffers?  No honor at all?

Where are your swastika armbands, you fascist son of a bitch?  You and your thugs remain out of uniform.  Once again, Sheriff, and ad nauseum, did you and/or your goons pressure Schilling to exit the race?  Did you steal the election? If so, an aggressively stupid, achingly gutless public gets what it truly deserves.  One of the most corrupt, abusive, inept 'law' 'enforcement' agencies in our formerly great country.

While the business and church communities stood tall during the recent Kingsland flood catastrophe, there was one glaring exception.  On 10-17-18, the Antlers Coffee Shop closed due to storm-related failure of the Kingsland water system. Patrons, however, are routinely allowed to get online outside even when the shop is closed.

A long-term coffee shop customer entered the hotel lobby to ask the desk clerk whether wifi was still up and running after the catastrophe.  She said it was and told the patron he could get online inside the closed shop.  She then asked him to have another regular customer who had just arrived outside to come in and get out of the cold as well.

Antlers co-proprietor Rick apparently quickly got wind of both customers, made quite a jackass of himself emulating the petulant narcissist currently occupying the Oval Office.  Aggressive stupidity at a time the Kingsland business community is indeed suffering, can least afford it.  Further proof positive of the old adage 'can fix ignorant, can't fix stupid.'

Why would, why should both customers put up with this?  Think this hasn't happened to others?

Highly reminiscent of our outrageously bought and paid for judiciary, Llano County prosecutors, Sheriff Bill Blackburn and his criminal SS jackbooted bastards in black who continue to egregiously disgrace themselves and the badge, do as they please regardless of the law and Constitution, carefully consider the following.  It's appalling.  Runs against the grain of everything our formerly great country once stood for.  No longer.

Think things will ever truly change?  The Associated Press reports:

"A police training seminar in New Jersey included instructors making lewd comments about women, encouraging officers to pull people over for no reason and showing a photo of an ape after talking about pulling over a 75-year-old Black man, according to a new report from the state comptroller. The six-day seminar in October 2021 was conducted by a New Jersey-based law enforcement training company called Street Cop, a privately run firm that bills itself as one of the largest in the country, according to the 43-page report. Some 1,000 officers from around the country, including about 240 from New Jersey, attended the seminar, primarily funded by taxpayers, the comptroller found. The report paints a critical portrait of the training and comes at a time of increased scrutiny on law enforcement after high-profile civilian deaths while in police custody, including Tyre Nichols, George Floyd and others. It also comes after nearly a decade of initiatives in the state aimed at overhauling police conduct and building trust in communities. Among the directives from the state attorney general have been requirements for training on cultural awareness and diversity, de-escalation and communications skills as well as an increased focus on professionalism."

Time for heads to figuratively roll throughout the profession all across this country.  -- Sadly, things are that bad and getting worse.

The following is appalling:

"Included in the report are videos from the seminar that show, according to the comptroller, over 100 discriminatory comments. Instructors talked about their genitalia, according to the report. One trainer spoke of going on vacation surrounded by “girls that are not as wealthy and they need to do things to make money.” Another advised women in attendance to flirt with their partners because if they don’t, “God knows there are some whores who will.” In another video, a trainer onstage discussed pulling over a 75-year-old Black man and showed a photograph of an ape. A speaker who was not a law enforcement official advocated for leveraging pain as a “weapon” during police work and celebrated savagery and “drinking out of the skulls of our enemies,” according to the report. In still another video, a trainer talked about stopping drivers without cause and asking questions simply to develop a “baseline.” He went on to say: “Then when you ask somebody a question and he answers it just weird you’ll be so much better at picking up on it.” That flouts clearly established law, the comptroller’s office said, because officers cannot stop someone on a “hunch.” “They also cannot stop motorists when the sole reason is just to ask questions,” it said. Kevin Walsh, the state’s acting comptroller, said his office turned up numerous examples of trainers promoting “wildly inappropriate” views and tactics and questioned the legality of some."

Anyone in New Jersey government and/or law enforcement chain of command fired yet for hiring this company?

“The fact that the training undermined nearly a decade of police reforms — and New Jersey dollars paid for it — is outrageous,” Walsh said in a statement."

You think?

"The report makes a number of recommendations, including calling on the Legislature to set up a licensing requirement for private police training programs. It urges the attorney general to oversee retraining of officials who attended the conference and encourages law enforcement agencies to seek a refund for the training."

Gets worse.  Far worse.  Get this:

"Street Cop founder and CEO Dennis Benigno said in a statement that nothing in the report showed his company advocating for anything “inconsistent with quality policing.” “Isolated excerpts taken out of context from a week-long training are not reflections of the overall quality of the education that Street Cop provides,” he said."

Clueless.  Hopelessly, so.  Out to lunch.  Egregiously unprincipled.  Devoid of substance.

"New Jersey Attorney General Matthew Platkin said his office is still reviewing the report but the training appeared to be “deeply troubling, potentially unconstitutional, and certainly unacceptable.” “The report’s findings are disturbing and not consistent with the State’s commitment to fair, just, and safe policing. I have formally referred the report to the Division on Civil Rights to take any and all appropriate steps,” Platkin said. Along with New Jersey, the comptroller’s office found at least 46 states spent funds on Street Cop training. Among the agencies the comptroller found participating in the 2021 seminar were the state police and 77 municipal agencies. More than $75,000 in public funds was spent, the comptroller said, but that didn’t include paid time off or paid training days."

Delusionally think we don't have a problem with law enforcement in this country?

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.  Forfeiture of liberty.  At the hands of outrageously corrupt and abusive government.

No longer.

Former police chief disgraces himself.  CBS News reports:

"A former California police chief who brought a hatchet to the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, has been sentenced to more than 11 years in prison for his role in the siege. Alan Hostetter, who spewed conspiracy theories during his trial and again at his sentencing hearing Thursday, was found guilty of multiple felony charges, including conspiracy, in July. The Justice Department said Hostetter drove from his home state of California to Washington, D.C., before Jan. 6 instead of flying "so that he could load his car with weapons." Federal prosecutors said he met up with others on the morning of the attack and brought "tactical gear, a helmet, hatchets, knives, stun batons, pepper spray, and other gear for himself and others." He attended the rally at the White House Ellipse before walking to the Capitol, carrying a hatchet in his backpack, according to prosecutors. He joined a group who pushed through a line of police officers guarding a lower terrace on the west side of the Capitol. Once on the upper level, Hostetter shouted, "The people have taken back their house. Hundreds of thousands of patriots showed up today to take back their government!"

What a piece of shit.  As a former police chief, he swore an oath to uphold the law and U.S. Constitution.

"In arguments Thursday, a Justice Department attorney recounted Hostetter's actions and said he was "a terrorist" on Jan. 6. The prosecutor cited Hostetter's comments in the days before the attack, in which he allegedly said, "Choke that city off. Fill it with patriots." He urged others to "put the fear of God into members of Congress." In a nearly hour-long statement asking for leniency, Hostetter claimed the 2020 election was "stolen" and unfurled a series of other baseless theories, including an assertion that Jan. 6 was a "false flag" operation orchestrated by the federal government. He alleged there were "crisis actors" amid the mob, claiming "hundreds, if not thousands" of people were part of an intentional "set-up" by the government meant to ensnare protesters."

Sounds delusionally like his mentor, the Trump nazi.  Fascism, nazism, national socialism defined as the pernicious blend of government, business, and religion.  'Justified' by perversion and bastardization of the latter.

"Hostetter also referenced presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy, who referred to Jan. 6 as an "inside job" at the Republican debate in Alabama on Wednesday. Hostetter said the comment is an indication that his beliefs are no longer "fringe" theories."

Sad, isn't it?

"Judge Royce Lamberth, who found Hostetter guilty earlier this year, proceeded to hand down one of the longest sentences issued in any of the roughly 1,200 cases related to Jan. 6 that have been brought to date. In sentencing Hostetter to 135 months in prison, Lamberth said, "The First Amendment doesn't give anybody the right to obstruct, impede or carry weapons into restricted areas." During his lengthy statement in court, Hostetter also referred to Ashli Babbitt, a member of the riotous mob who was fatally shot by police as she was climbing through a window just outside the House chamber, near trapped members of Congress. Hostetter said he doesn't believe Babbitt was actually killed and that the reports of her death are part of a "psyop."

Raw insanity.

"Babbitt's mother was in the court watching Hostetter's hearing at the time. She told CBS News she was gravely offended by Hostetter's words, but disagrees with the length of the sentence issued, calling it excessive."

Think so?

"Hostetter will report to federal prison in early January, around the three-year mark of the Capitol siege. He said he will appeal his conviction."

NPR reports:

"A retired California police chief, who led pro-Trump protests and called for "traitors" in government to be "executed as an example," was sentenced to 135 months — just over 11 years — in prison for his role in the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol. After representing himself at his trial earlier this year, Alan Hostetter was convicted of conspiring to obstruct Congress' certification of Joe Biden's electoral victory, bringing a hatchet onto Capitol grounds, and disorderly conduct. While Hostetter joined the mob on the steps of the Capitol, he stopped short of entering the building and did not assault police officers during the riot. "This defendant's conduct was terrorism," said Assistant U.S. Attorney Anthony Mariano, who argued that Hostetter's lengthy career in law enforcement meant he should have known better."

As a former officer he swore an oath to uphold the law and United States Constitution.

"Through his words and deeds on Jan. 6, Alan Hostetter was a terrorist," Mariano said. "Nothing he did was patriotic."

No question.

"Hostetter denied wrongdoing and gave a lengthy conspiratorial rant claiming that the Capitol riot was the result of a "false flag" attack engineered by the federal government. "I have full faith and confidence the truth will come out and when it does it will shock people," Hostetter told the court. He also praised Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy for saying at Wednesday's GOP primary debate that the Jan. 6 riot "now does look like it was an inside job."

Raw insanity.  No basis in fact.  None.

"At one point in his remarks to the court, Hostetter endorsed a baseless fringe theory that the fatal shooting of Ashli Babbitt, who was killed by a police officer while attempting to breach a locked door in the Capitol, was "staged." "She wasn't actually killed that day," Hostetter said. That claim angered Babbitt's mother, Micki Witthoeft, who attended the hearing. Witthoeft confronted Hostetter outside the courtroom, calling him "arrogant" and telling him "you need help."

So does his mentor, the Trump nazi.  Fascism, nazism, national socialism defined as the pernicious blend of government, business, and religion.  'Justified' by perversion and bastardization of the latter.

"The Department of Justice had asked Judge Royce Lamberth to sentence Hostetter to just over 12 years in prison, arguing that his violent anti-government rhetoric, carrying of dangerous weapons, and extensive planning merited a harsh punishment. Many participants in the Jan. 6, 2021, riot took unusual paths to the storming of the Capitol, but few were as singular as Hostetter's."

No question.  Get this:

"Hostetter served in the U.S. Army in the 1980s and deployed to Germany before going on to work for the Orange County Sheriff's Department and ultimately becoming police chief of La Habra, Calif. After he retired from that position due to what he said were spinal problems, Hostetter settled in the small beachside community of San Clemente and became a yoga instructor and sound healer. He posted videos of himself playing a gong in front of a sunset, and rhapsodizing about the search for inner peace. After the COVID-19 pandemic hit in early 2020, Hostetter began leading protests against what he viewed as tyrannical government overreach, and spoke in terms of violent anti-government revolution. He founded a nonprofit called the American Phoenix Project to support his protest efforts, and gained traction in Southern California's right-wing political scene, standing out with his signature trilby hat and goatee. Hostetter appeared at events with Republican politicians and partnered with the law firm of a prominent Republican attorney, Harmeet Dhillon, to challenge California's COVID-19 policies in court."

The following is incredibly sad:

"Throughout his case, Hostetter has appeared to endorse a wide range of baseless conspiracy theories while arguing that he is the target of a longstanding government plot. At times, he has referenced the pro-Trump QAnon conspiracy alongside claims about the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, the firing of Tucker Carlson from Fox News and the Freemasons. After the 2020 election, Hostetter and his group turned their focus to rejecting Biden's electoral victory. "President Trump must be inaugurated on January 20th, and he must be allowed to finish this historic job of cleaning out the corruption in the cesspool known as Washington, D.C.," Hostetter said in a speech in Huntington Beach, Calif. in Dec. 2020. "The enemies and traitors of America, both foreign and domestic, must be held accountable. And they will. There must be long prison terms, while execution is the just punishment for the ringleaders of this coup." Prosecutors say that Hostetter then "spent weeks rallying others, collecting weapons, and planning an attack on the U.S. Capitol on the day that the peaceful transfer of power was meant to take place."

Get this:

"Key evidence against Hostetter came from one of his co-defendants, a California man named Russell Taylor. He helped plan protests with Hostetter, and joined Hostetter in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 6 while armed with a knife, body armor and a stun baton. Taylor pleaded guilty to a charge of conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, cooperated with prosecutors and testified against his former friend. Hostetter continued to dispute Taylor's testimony at his sentencing hearing. In wrapping his remarks, he thanked Judge Lamberth for allowing him to speak at length about his case. "You always have given me the opportunity to flap my gums," Hostetter told the court."

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.  Forfeiture of liberty.  At the hands of outrageously corrupt and abusive government.

No longer.

More of the same at the federal level.  NBC News reports:

"A few feet from the front door of a small, green house on a quiet street is a patch of dirt where the grass won’t grow. The patch marks the place where 25-year-old Caleb Slay lay bleeding after being shot twice in the head by a federal agent. Slay wasn’t the target of an investigation. But he died within minutes of encountering Anthony Gasperoni, the Drug Enforcement Administration agent who pulled the trigger, and his partner, John Stuart. Together they had tailed a man they suspected of being involved in a low-level drug deal to the street in front of Slay’s home. “I just want to get justice for Caleb. He died for no reason,” said Denny Slay, his grandfather. “These guys are to blame. They’re trigger happy, scared and they shouldn’t have been carrying a gun and representing any police department. It was mishandled. Pure and simple.”

Nazi justice in a de facto fascist police-state, democratic republic in name only.  Fascism, nazism, national socialism defined as the pernicious blend of government, business, and religion.  'Justified' by perversion and bastardization of the latter.

Legalized murder:

"Prosecutors rarely charge federal agents or local officers who serve on their task forces after a shooting. More than two months after Slay’s death on Nov. 2, 2020, a local prosecutor determined the shooting was legally justified, writing that Gasperoni “reasonably believed that deadly force was necessary.” Federal prosecutors also did not press charges."

How about that?

"The Slays say they have never heard from the DEA or the Justice Department, which oversees the agency, in the three years since their son was killed. They question whether anyone will ever be held accountable for his death. The DOJ declined to answer questions about the case, and the DEA did not respond to requests for comment from NBC News."

Surprised?  No accountability.  None.

"Kept in the dark by federal agencies, his family turned to the nation’s courts this fall in a last attempt to seek accountability. Their civil lawsuit, filed against the federal government, the DEA agents, the city of Springfield and the local police officers who responded to the scene, alleges, among other claims, that Slay “posed no credible threat” to the federal agents — neither threatening them nor attempting to flee — and that their use of force was “grossly excessive.”

-- How the jackbooted bastards in law enforcement get their cookies off.

"Over the past decade, some families of people killed by local police, like Michael Brown, Breonna Taylor and George Floyd, have secured millions of dollars in high-profile civil actions against officers accused of excessive force. But it remains difficult to win civil rights suits against law enforcement agencies, and payouts are rare. It will be even more difficult for Slay’s family because he was killed by a federal officer, which brings steeper hurdles in court than for families who sue local police. A combination of federal laws and court precedent has rendered it difficult, if not nearly impossible, to successfully sue federal officers or local police officers who serve on a federal task force and receive federal legal protections — for excessive force and other civil rights violations. In the last six years, the Supreme Court has further narrowed that path, creating what one federal judge called a “Constitution-free zone” for federal law enforcement."

Raw nazism.  Precisely, why law enforcement cannot be trusted.  Nazi justice in a de facto fascist police-state, democratic republic in name only.  Fascism, nazism, national socialism defined as the pernicious blend of government, business, and religion.  'Justified' by perversion and bastardization of the latter.

“You can’t prosecute them,” said Anya Bidwell, an attorney with the Institute for Justice, a nonprofit law firm that has argued similar cases in front of the Supreme Court. “You can’t sue them in state courts. And now you can’t sue them in federal court. There really isn’t any recourse.”

Raw nazism.  Nazi justice in a de facto fascist police-state, democratic republic in name only.  Fascism, nazism, national socialism defined as the pernicious blend of government, business, and religion.  'Justified' by perversion and bastardization of the latter.  Time to finally wake up.

Here's what went down:

"On the afternoon of Nov. 2, 2020, DEA Agent John Stuart was in his unmarked van in the parking lot of a Springfield Walmart, watching what he suspected was a hand-to-hand drug deal at a nearby apartment complex. Stuart and his partner, Anthony Gasperoni, had been trying to help a local task force officer find a suspect’s car. But the officer told Stuart the surveillance was off — he had lost track of the suspect. Stuart then saw what looked like a second drug deal, he later told the Springfield Police detectives who investigated Slay’s death, and alerted Gasperoni. Both DEA vehicles began following a man from the second suspected deal, who was driving a U-Haul pickup. They tailed the truck into a neighborhood of single family homes, where it parked in front of Caleb Slay’s house. According to the people who saw him last, Slay had spent that day at home. He helped a neighbor find his dog, worked on the sound system in his car and visited with his grandfather. A couple hours after his grandfather left, a friend came over. Slay was sitting with the friend in a car in front of his house when the U-Haul truck pulled up. The friend would later tell the family’s attorney that both he and Slay were friends with the U-Haul truck’s driver, a man named Casey Ray. But Slay, the friend said, was waiting in the car for a ride from someone else. Stuart, the DEA agent driving an unmarked van, pulled up behind the truck after it parked. Wearing a vest marked “POLICE,” he approached the driver’s side window of the truck. He identified himself to Ray as “police” — not as a DEA agent — and began asking questions. Slay and his friend wanted to get away from the situation, the friend later recalled. Both of them got out of the car. “We didn’t even think he was a real cop,” he said, according to a transcript of his interview with the family’s attorney. “He’s in civilian clothing and he’s got a vest that anyone could get at any tactical store and buy and put a patch on.”

The hopelessly arrogant jackbooted bastards do as they please.

"Stuart told investigators he thought he had interrupted a drug deal and asked both men to stay in the car, according to a transcript of his interview after the shooting. “Nobody’s under control yet,” Stuart said. “I still haven’t got the driver of the U-Haul truck patted down or detained, and now I got this guy steppin’ out.” Slay began walking toward his front door. Then Gasperoni, the other DEA agent, pulled up and got out of his car. Four witnesses — Slay’s friend, Ray and two neighbors watching from across the street — saw what happened next. Gasperoni, who like Stuart was in plainclothes and put on a police vest when he arrived, told investigators that he asked Slay where he was going and Slay responded, “in a very aggressive tone,” that he was going into his house. But, Gasperoni said, he asked Slay to come back and Slay did. “He complied at that time and just came right back over,” the agent said. Gasperoni said that Slay then moved a hand behind his back and that he asked Slay not to reach behind him. Slay then put his hands out in front of him and told the agent that he was armed, according to both Gasperoni and Slay’s friend. Missouri law allows most residents to purchase and carry a concealed firearm without a license or permit, and Slay often carried a handgun in a holster on his belt."

Clearly, had every right to do so.

"One neighbor told police that Caleb seemed “very calm” as he held out his hands and the officer took hold of them. “Even his arms weren’t tense,” she said. “He was very, like, relaxed just standing there.” The other neighbor also said that Caleb was calmly holding out his hands as he talked to the officer, according to the investigative report. “It kind of seemed like Caleb was like, ‘I’m not trying to do anything here,’” he said. Slay’s friend recalled the same. “He’s just trying to tell him that he has nothing to do with this situation that’s happening in front of him,” the friend said. “The entire time Caleb’s hands stayed out in front of him. The entire time.” Gasperoni saw Slay’s behavior differently. He said he grabbed Slay’s wrists and felt him tense up. Gasperoni shouted to his partner for help. Stuart then walked up behind Slay and grabbed his arm, telling investigators that as he approached, he indicated to Slay that he was going to detain him — though he couldn’t recall exactly what he said. “I don’t know if I used the word detain or put cuffs on, but, you know, I’m tellin’ him, ‘Hey, this is….this is gonna happen,’” Stuart said, according to his interview transcript. “Because obviously everything’s going on and we can’t just….we can’t just let this guy have a gun.”

Not even if it was within the law and he presented no threat?

"But three witnesses said that Slay reacted as if he was taken by surprise, with one neighbor telling investigators that the agent approached him from “out of nowhere.” Slay, who was larger than both agents, knocked Stuart over, his friend recalled, and the two men began to scuffle, with Stuart falling to the ground and Slay bent over him. Witnesses said Slay seemed to be pushing himself “off” the agent, shouting “get off me” — while Gasperoni said he saw Slay reach several times for his waistband. Neither agent could remember what commands they gave Slay."

Not credible.  Especially, in light of the following:

"At one point, Gasperoni said he pointed his gun at close range at Slay’s head. Witnesses recalled him pressing his gun to Slay’s head and neck and shouting that he’d shoot Slay if he didn’t stop moving. According to police records, Gasperoni fired three times, shooting Slay twice in the head. “It happened very, very quickly,” he told investigators."

An execution.  Gets worse.  Get this:

"Police records show that neither the agents nor local police, who arrived later, rendered medical aid. Paramedics noted on arrival that Slay had a faint pulse, but he was not taken to the nearest ER, just two blocks away."

How about that?  Pitiful.  Pathetic.  Outrageously unprincipled.

Covered their murderous asses.  No transparency:

"A spokesperson for the Springfield Police said they could not comment on pending litigation and also referred questions to the DEA. The DEA did not respond to questions. Attempts to reach the individual agents were not successful."

Surprised?

"Slay was pronounced dead over the telephone by a doctor at 3:45 p.m., about 15 minutes after he was shot. Minutes later, his mother, Tina Slay Richardson, got a call from a family member who had just driven past his street and saw police lights. She rushed over with Slay’s grandparents and his sister. They stood down the block, behind police, until dusk fell and a Springfield Police officer finally told them Slay was dead. Slay’s friend and Ray were allowed to leave and the Springfield Police continued to process the scene. Local police later searched the U-Haul truck and found 9.11 grams of methamphetamine."

Did they plant it?

"Ray, the driver, was not charged with a drug offense related to the incident, according to the prosecutor’s office. “Caleb laid in that front yard until almost 11 o’clock at night,” his mother said. “Uncovered, handcuffed, face down.”

How about that?  Pitiful.  Pathetic.  Outrageously unprincipled.  No respect for the dead.

"The next morning, Slay Richardson hired an attorney, who began to help the family gather information about what happened that day. At the time, she had no idea how limited her legal options were. Suing federal officials for misconduct has long been more difficult than suing local ones. After slavery, the federal government created a series of laws to protect Black citizens from being lynched by local police. One law enabled citizens to sue state and local government officials in federal court. But it didn’t let citizens sue federal officials. It was a 1971 Supreme Court decision — Bivens v. Six Unknown Named Agents of the Federal Bureau of Narcotics – that first opened the door for people to sue federal officers for violating Fourth Amendment protections against unreasonable search and seizure. What became known as Bivens claims were later expanded by the court to cover allegations of cruel and unusual punishment and discrimination. But almost as soon as the Supreme Court opened the door, federal judges began to shut it. Congress further limited such suits by outright barring Americans from suing federal employees in state courts. In the last six years, the Supreme Court has revisited the issue three times, each time further narrowing the circumstances in which people can sue federal officials, to the point where legal experts say that Bivens is essentially dead."

A district attorney stands tall.  In follow-up to a case covered earlier here and elsewhere, NBC News reports:

"Fani Willis' other fight. Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, who is prosecuting Donald Trump in Georgia for trying to overturn the 2020 election, is also trying to hold federal officials accountable in two other wholly unrelated cases. She has much better odds of convicting the former president. In 2019, an Atlanta police officer serving on an FBI-led task force killed a 21-year-old Black man named Jimmy Atchison, who was wanted on a local warrant alleging he stole an acquaintance’s purse at gunpoint. The task force raided his girlfriend’s apartment and then chased Atchison, who local prosecutors said wasn’t armed, into a neighbor’s home, where the officer shot him in a closet. Willis’ predecessor as district attorney began building a case against the officer, Sung Kim. Prosecutors also launched an investigation into the death of Jamarion Robinson, a mentally ill 26-year-old who was shot 59 times by members of a U.S. Marshals task force in 2016. Willis, who took office in January 2021, has pursued both cases. She charged the two officers who shot Robinson with murder in 2021, and in 2022 she charged Kim with murder, as well. All three officers pleaded not guilty. Legal experts predict that convictions are unlikely. Willis is the only local prosecutor in the country with two ongoing murder cases against members of Justice Department law enforcement task forces related to on-duty shootings. “Nobody’s above the law,” Willis told NBC News. “No citizen is beneath the protection of a district attorney. And no citizen is above prosecution if you do something wrong.”

Hat's off, Counselor.  Uncommon Valor.  A prosecutor who has principles.

"Atchison is one of at least 223 people shot by federal agents, task force officers or local police assisting in cases tied to Justice Department law enforcement agencies from 2018 to 2022, according to an analysis of court documents, law enforcement records and news accounts by NBC News. During that period, local prosecutors, grand juries or law enforcement agencies deemed those shootings as justified 98% of the time. Of the 144 shooting reviews documented by NBC News, only two, including the Atchison case, resulted in criminal charges against on-duty officers. Over the last three decades, a handful of local prosecutors have tried to convict federal agents or federal task force members of murder or manslaughter after fatal shootings. To date, no prosecutor has succeeded, according to a review of court cases on Thomson Reuters Westlaw. Cases typically get moved to federal court, where they are more likely to be dismissed. Again and again, federal judges have dismissed charges by prosecutors, citing long-standing legal precedents. In September, a federal judge moved Willis’ murder case against Kim from county court to federal court, where a federal judge is now presiding over it. Willis told NBC News that since then, family members of the victims and representatives from her office haven’t been treated well by Justice Department attorneys. “That’s not an acceptable thing. They are treated very poorly when they are in that courtroom,” Willis said. “It has troubled me the way that the victims’ families and my prosecutors and investigators have been treated.”

Yet, the bullshit continues unabated:

"Spokespeople for the Justice Department, the FBI and the U.S. Marshals declined to answer questions about specific cases. Donald Samuel, an attorney for Kim, who has retired from the Atlanta Police Department, declined to comment, as well. Peter Carr, a spokesperson for the Justice Department, said in a statement that the department was proud of the work of its law enforcement officers. He added that it recognizes the importance of transparency and accountability and had recently updated its use-of-force policy. “Because there are circumstances where the use of force may occur, we recently updated our policy to ensure it parallels the best practices of federal, state and local law enforcement,” Carr said."

Zero credibility.  None.

"Gerald Griggs, a civil rights attorney and the president of the Georgia chapter of the NAACP, said federal officials must do more. Griggs said he and other local activists are determined to use the Atchison and Robinson cases as a launchpad to ensure that federal officers are held to the same standard as local police." “People didn’t understand that this is happening with federal officers. Everyone is focused on state and local officers,” he told NBC News. “We are litigating this issue and trying to change the law.”

In follow-up to a case covered earlier here and elsewhere, NBC News reports:

"Portland protesters were beaten, shot at and snatched. Years later, they are frustrated by legal blockades to accountability. After the 2020 protests, a flurry of lawsuits were filed against federal officers alleging constitutional violations. None have succeeded, in part because of the Supreme Court. A phalanx of federal officers emerged from the U.S. courthouse in downtown Portland on the night of July 18, 2020 and advanced on protesters standing nearby. Chris David, from the park across the street, saw the officers plow into the protesters, knocking several of them to the ground. For weeks, nightly racial justice protests in the wake of the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis had roiled the city, and federal officials responded to intermittent violence with an influx of law enforcement. The Navy veteran had never participated in a protest before, but that night he decided to see for himself after watching with growing unease as the number of federal officers increased at the direction of then-President Donald Trump. David walked up to the line of officers, who were wearing body armor and carrying weapons."

Uncommon Valor:

“I stood there and I started asking them the same question over and over again: ‘You are violating your oath to the Constitution. Why are you violating your oath to the Constitution?” David said in an interview. He never got an answer. He stood facing four masked and helmeted officers, later identified as deputy U.S. Marshals. One officer appeared to push David, who stumbled backward before regaining his balance. At that point, David said one of the officers pointed a firearm at him. Another officer then hit David repeatedly on his left side with a baton, he said, while another sprayed him in the face with a chemical irritant. David stumbled away, his hand broken in two places. The video footage quickly went viral."

For damned good reason. Jackbooted motherf--kers.

"He subsequently joined a federal lawsuit accusing individual officers of violating his constitutional rights. These are known as “Bivens claims” after a 1971 Supreme Court ruling that allowed such lawsuits. It was important to him, he said, that the officers be held accountable for their own actions, regardless of what they had been ordered to do. When he studied at the Naval Academy, he added, “one of the first things they taught us is that you are never to follow an illegal order. Ever.”

No question.  The mark of a democratic republic, not a de facto fascist police-state.  Fascism, nazism, national socialism defined as the pernicious blend of government, business, and religion.  'Justified' by perversion and bastardization of the latter.

"The explosive protests of that summer are slowly fading into history, but three years later those who were involved are still struggling — both in court and in some instances in their daily lives. David is just one of many protesters who accused federal officers of being overly aggressive, whether it be by striking people with batons, firing nonlethal projectiles or, in more than one instance, allegedly snatching people off the street without explanation.  But not a single federal officer on the Portland streets at that time has been held individually accountable for alleged constitutional violations over claims brought by David and other protesters. In fact, courts have not had a chance to assess whether constitutional violations even occurred. That is thanks to the intervention of the Supreme Court, which in a series of rulings has created an accountability-free environment in which federal officials interacting with the public on a daily basis, whether it be a bureaucrat sitting behind a desk, a corrections officer in prison or an FBI agent conducting a raid, can violate people’s constitutional rights with impunity."

Raw nazism.  Nazi justice in a de facto fascist police-state, democratic republic in name only.  Fascism, nazism, national socialism defined as the pernicious blend of government, business, and religion.  'Justified' by perversion and bastardization of the latter.

"As NBC News has reported, a 2022 Supreme Court ruling in a case called Egbert v. Boule has had broad repercussions nationwide. At first glance, it concerned only claims against Border Patrol agents, but the impact was far broader. A Chinese American person could not bring a Bivens claim against FBI agents after being wrongly charged with being a spy. A woman could not sue Social Security Administration officials for incorrectly declaring that she was dead. A Hispanic man could not pursue his claim over his wrongful arrest after U.S. Marshals detained him in a case of mistaken identity. NBC News data shows that, in the 12 months since Egbert was decided, plaintiffs have lost cases against an alphabet soup of federal agencies, including many that have nothing to do with border or immigration issues. In case after case, judges cited the Egbert ruling in refusing to allow Bivens claims. Cases involving claims made by federal prison inmates have been among those most affected. Of 228 cases identified by NBC News that cited Egbert in dismissing Bivens claims in the year after the ruling, 142 involved claims by federal prisoners, many of whom did not have legal representation. Prison officials prevailed in 123 of those cases. In one, a female prisoner was barred from pursuing a claim that she was sexually assaulted by a prison officer. Several cases involve claims arising from the treatment of prisoners during the Covid-19 pandemic, including one in which a judge dismissed a claim that an inmate who died from Covid-19 had not received proper medical treatment.

"Judges made clear in various other rulings that they had got the Supreme Court’s message. In one ruling in favor of prison officials over an excessive force claim brought by an inmate, Judge Bobby Baldock of the Denver-based 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals wrote that “lower courts expand Bivens claims at their own peril.” In a decision tossing out another prison inmate’s Bivens claim over inadequate health care, Hawaii-based District Court Judge Derrick Watson said that the Egbert ruling “tightened the noose around Bivens.” In a dissenting opinion published last month in another case dismissing a prisoner’s Bivens claim, Judge David Hamilton of the Chicago-based 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said such lawsuits are ever more important at a time when allegations are swirling of federal agencies being weaponized to punish political opponents. But, he wrote, because of the recent Supreme Court rulings, “a federal agent who violates the Constitution to carry out the policies of the federal executive branch now has little to fear in terms of direct accountability.”

Report goes on and on and on in great detail.  Hat's off to NBC News.  Think we haven't lost our country?  Raw nazism.  Nazi justice in a de facto fascist police-state, democratic republic in name only.  Fascism, nazism, national socialism defined as the pernicious blend of government, business, and religion.  'Justified' by perversion and bastardization of the latter.

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.  Forfeiture of liberty.  At the hands of outrageously corrupt and abusive government.

No longer.

More of the same old judicial and law enforcement incompetence, and/or malfeasance.  NBC News reports:

"A Chicago man who spent more than a decade in prison after he was found guilty of murder primarily based on the testimony of a “blind eyewitness” will get a new trial, his attorney said. Darien Harris, 30, was convicted following a 2011 shooting that left 23-year-old Rondell Moore dead and another seriously injured, the Chicago Tribune reported. Harris, who is Black, was 18 at the time and has always maintained his innocence. On Tuesday, a Cook County judge vacated Harris’ conviction, the Exoneration Project said. Judge Diana Kenworthy said it was best to “start over,” according to the newspaper. Attorney Lauren Myerscough-Mueller with Exoneration Project, who is representing Harris, could not immediately be reached for comment on Saturday. “Mr. Harris has spent 12 years wrongfully imprisoned, having been arrested when he was just 18,” the organization said in a statement on Facebook. “His conviction was secured almost solely through the testimony of a blind eyewitness, who the court repeatedly referred to as credible when wrongfully convicting Mr. Harris.” “We look forward to continuing to fight for his freedom,” the organization continued."

Outrageous this shit can and does happen all across this country, -- especially, it seems, to minorities.

"The witness was allegedly suffering from advanced glaucoma at the time of the crime, the organization said. He had severely limited visibility, and surveillance video from the scene revealed that he was much farther away than he initially claimed to be, according to the organization. Several years ago, Harris’ family and legal team had urged Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx to look at the case, arguing that the witness had allegedly failed to disclose that he was legally blind, the Chicago Tribune reported."

How the hell could this happen?  Where were the judge, defense counsel, and the prosecutor?  Out to lunch?

"Moore, the victim, had pulled into a local gas station to look at his vehicle when he was shot three times, the Chicago Tribune reported. He ran from the gas station and died in a nearby parking lot. A local mechanic who was helping Moore was injured in the shooting. The newspaper reported that surveillance video showed a man walking from a black Lexus to the area where the shooting occurred and then running away. The man’s face was not visible in the video. Harris said he was at home watching a basketball game at the time of the shooting. He was arrested days after the murder, convicted and sentenced to 76 years in prison by a now-retired judge. The Exoneration Project said there were also issues with “police misconduct” during Harris’ case. The organization said that during the trial, the alleged getaway driver in the shooting “unequivocally recanted” his initial statements identifying Harris and alleged that police coerced him into making a false identification by threatening to send him to jail for the rest of his life. “Another witness in the case claims that officers similarly attempted to coerce her to identify Mr. Harris,” the organization said in its statement."

If true, prosecute the jackbooted bastards responsible.  Despite the injustice, the f--king continues unabated:

"Because of the seriousness of the crime, the judge said, Harris will not be released as he waits for a new trial, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. A new trial date has not been set."

More of the same old unbridled malfeasance.  MPR reports:

"A judge Monday vacated the murder conviction of a Minneapolis man serving life in prison for a 2004 killing. Marvin Haynes, 36, was sentenced for the murder of Harry “Randy” Sherer in Minneapolis. Haynes was 16 at the time. Hours after the judge’s decision, Haynes walked out of the state prison in Stillwater into the arms of family and supporters. “I just want to thank everybody that supported me through this whole journey. And how ya’ll can recognize that I’m actually innocent,” Haynes said. “I’m just happy that I can correct my narrative. That’s it. I’m so happy.” In a statement, the Great North Innocence Project said Hennepin County District Judge William Koch signed the order. Koch presided over an evidentiary hearing in late November in which Haynes denied killing the flower shop employee or being in the store on that day. More testimony had been expected next week. “We are delighted to see Marvin finally regain his freedom and for the truth of his innocence to win out. We are thankful to the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office for recognizing the strength of Marvin’s claim and for demonstrating the most noble ideals of the prosecutor in recognizing past errors and prioritizing justice as the highest value,” said attorney Andrew Markquart, with the Great North Innocence Project. According to court documents, a witness had recanted statements that helped convict Haynes. Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty released a statement saying “nearly 28 percent of exonerations involve eyewitness identification.” “Doing the right thing sometimes means we must seek to undo the harms of the past, not defend them. And that is what we have tried to do today. It is not easy to admit and correct our wrongs. But it is necessary,” Moriarty said in the statement."

Privacy?  What's that?  Means shit squat to law enforcement and most of the business community.  Think not?  Wake up.

The Washington Post reports:

"The nation’s largest pharmacy chains have handed over Americans’ prescription records to police and government investigators without a warrant, a congressional investigation found, raising concerns about threats to medical privacy. Though some of the chains require their lawyers to review law enforcement requests, three of the largest — CVS Health, Kroger and Rite Aid, with a combined 60,000 locations nationwide — said they allow pharmacy staff members to hand over customers’ medical records in the store."

Without a warrant.  No problem with that?  None?  Think it's any of the goddamned government's business?  Or, any of law enforcement's if there is no probable cause a crime has indeed been committed and a warrant issued signed by a judge?

"The policy was revealed in a letter sent late Monday to Xavier Becerra, the secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services, by Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) and Reps. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.) and Sara Jacobs (D-Calif.). The members began investigating the practice after the Supreme Court’s decision last year in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization ended the constitutional right to abortion. The revelation could shape the debate over Americans’ expectations of privacy as Texas and other states move to criminalize abortion and drugs related to reproductive health. Pharmacies’ records hold some of the most intimate details of their customers’ personal lives, including years-old medical conditions and the prescriptions they take for mental health and birth control."

No problem with those records being shared with the jackbooted bastards in blue without a warrant signed by a judge and probable cause a crime has indeed been committed?

Gets worse.  Get this:

"Because the chains often share records across all locations, a pharmacy in one state can access a person’s medical history from states with more-restrictive laws. Carly Zubrzycki, an associate professor at the University of Connecticut law school, wrote last year that this could link a person’s out-of-state medical care via a “digital trail” back to their home state. The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, or HIPAA, regulates how health information is used and exchanged among “covered entities” such as hospitals and doctor’s offices. But the law gives pharmacies leeway as to what legal standard they require before disclosing medical records to law enforcement."

That's goddamned outrageous.  Gets worse:

"In briefings, officials with America’s eight biggest pharmacy giants — Walgreens Boots Alliance, CVS, Walmart, Rite Aid, Kroger, Cigna, Optum Rx and Amazon Pharmacy — told congressional investigators that they required only a subpoena, not a warrant, to share the records. A subpoena can be issued by a government agency and, unlike a court order or warrant, does not require a judge's approval. To obtain a warrant, law enforcement must persuade a judge that the information is vital to investigate a crime. Officials with CVS, Kroger and Rite Aid said they instruct their pharmacy staff members to process law enforcement requests on the spot, saying the staff members face “extreme pressure to immediately respond,” the lawmakers’ letter said. The eight pharmacy giants told congressional investigators that they collectively received tens of thousands of legal demands every year, and that most were in connection with civil lawsuits. It’s unclear how many were related to law enforcement demands, or how many requests were fulfilled."

That's a problem.  A big problem.

"Only one of the companies, Amazon, said it notified customers when law enforcement demanded its pharmacy records unless there was a legal prohibition, such as a “gag order,” preventing it from doing so, the lawmakers said. Americans can request the companies tell them if they’ve ever disclosed their data under a HIPAA “Accounting of Disclosure” rule, but very few people do. CVS, which has more than 40,000 pharmacists and 10,000 stores in the United States, said it received a “single-digit number” of such consumer requests last year, the letter states."

How about that?  Think most of the public is even aware it has the right to this information?

"CVS, the country’s largest pharmacy by prescription revenue, said in a statement that it is compliant with HIPAA and that its pharmacy teams are “trained on how to appropriately respond to lawful requests from regulatory agencies and law enforcement.” “We have suggested a warrant or judge-issued subpoena requirement be considered and we look forward to working cooperatively with Congress to strengthen patient privacy protections,” company spokeswoman Amy Thibault said."

Think so?  Believe it?  Not credible.  Here's why:

"Most investigative requests come with a directive requiring the company to keep them confidential, she said; for those that don’t, the company considers “on a case-by-case basis whether it’s appropriate to notify the individual.” The company intends to begin publishing a transparency report that will include information on third-party record requests starting in the first quarter of next year, she said. HHS did not immediately respond to requests for comment."

Surprised?

"A Walgreens spokesman said the company’s law enforcement process follows HIPAA and other applicable laws. A Walmart spokeswoman said the company takes its “customers’ privacy seriously as well as our obligation to law enforcement.” An Amazon spokeswoman said the company cooperates with law enforcement requests as required and that such requests “represent a very small percentage of the prescriptions we fill for customers.” (Amazon founder Jeff Bezos owns The Washington Post, and interim Post CEO Patty Stonesifer is a member of Amazon’s board.) Rite Aid declined to comment. The other companies did not respond to requests for comment."

Empty, hollow, meaningless rhetoric.  No transparency, no credibility.  Zero.  Zilch.  None.

"Carmel Shachar, an assistant clinical professor at Harvard Law School who researches health law and policy, said that pharmacies hold a “ton of sensitive data” and that pharmacists are probably not trained to evaluate the merits or validity of a police request — or to turn an officer down. “These need to go to someone who understands privacy law for review,” she said. “It probably feels very nerve-racking to get a subpoena and tell the person who gave it to you, ‘Oh, you’ll have to wait.’” The pharmacy data could be especially concerning for the nearly 1 in 3 women ages 15 to 44 who a Post analysis found live in states where abortion is fully or mostly banned. In Texas, Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) has warned pharmacies they could face criminal charges for providing women with “abortion-inducing drugs.” Kate Cox, a Dallas-area mother of two who sought an abortion after learning her fetus had a fatal genetic condition, left the state on Monday after the Texas Supreme Court blocked a lower-court ruling that would have allowed her to get the procedure. Some states, such as Louisiana, Montana and Pennsylvania, offer additional protections for medical data disclosure, though federal law enforcement is not subject to their laws."

Goddamned outrageous.  Frightening.  Raw nazism.  Expect better in a de facto fascist police-state, democratic republic in name only?  Fascism, nazism, national socialism defined as the pernicious blend of government, business, and religion.  'Justified' by perversion and bastardization of the latter.

"In their letter, the lawmakers called on HHS to strengthen HIPAA’s rules and ensure pharmacies insist on a warrant, which would require law enforcement go to court to enforce such requests. The lawmakers noted that the tech industry had adopted a similar change in the early 2010s, when Google, Microsoft and Yahoo began demanding to see warrants before providing data on customers’ emails. They also urged the companies to proactively notify customers and to publish regular transparency reports highlighting the volume of law enforcement requests. “Americans deserve to have their private medical information protected at the pharmacy counter,” they wrote."

Wake up.

The United States supports the Israeli aggressor despite its outrageously egregious ongoing war crimes.

The Washington Post reports:

"The United States drew criticism from rights and aids groups for blocking a U.N. Security Council draft resolution that called for an immediate cease-fire in Gaza, as well as the unconditional release of all hostages, on Friday. The resolution had near-unanimous support from member states. The State Department is selling $107 million of tank supplies to Israel and subverting congressional approval to do so. Human Rights Watch said the United States was at risk of “complicity in war crimes,” and the Palestinian Authority’s president said the United States was responsible for the bloodshed of Palestinians. A U.S. envoy defended the veto, calling the resolution “divorced from reality” and noting that it did not condemn the Hamas attack. Israel’s ambassador, characterizing the resolution as “distorted,” praised the U.S."

Expect better of a country that is murdering innocent Palestinian civilians?

"Secretary of State Antony Blinken used the emergency declaration to sell weapons to Israel because “it is vital to U.S. national interests to assist Israel to develop and maintain a strong and ready self-defense capability,” the State Department said in a news release."

Rings hollow.  No more than empty rhetoric, sadly, devoid of substance.  Here's precisely why:

"Nearly a million children in Gaza have been displaced from their homes; many are injured, at risk for disease or without enough water; and more than half of Gazans are starving, U.N. officials said Saturday. The U.N., Save the Children and others have intensified their warnings of further humanitarian crisis: Aid operations have broken down, and health, water and sanitation systems have largely collapsed."

The Israeli aggressor has shown little to no regard for the innocent Palestinian civilians it has murdered.

The conflict is likely to get far worse:

"The Houthis, a Yemeni militant group aligned with Iran, plan to block the passage of any ships to Israeli ports unless they are delivering food and medicine to the Gaza Strip, said Brig. Gen. Yahya Sarea, the Houthi military spokesman, warning countries and shipping companies that the group will target any ships heading to Israel. The Yemen-based force has already targeted ships in the Red Sea; the United States said this week that missiles fired from Houthi-controlled areas hit a cargo ship, a container ship and another vessel."

The Associated Press reports:

"Going around Congress, the Biden administration said Saturday it has approved the emergency sale to Israel of nearly 14,000 rounds of tank ammunition worth more than $106 million as Israel intensifies its military operations in the southern Gaza Strip."

How many innocent Palestinian civilians will be murdered by this ammunition?

"The move comes as President Joe Biden’s request for a nearly $106 billion aid package for Ukraine, Israel and other national security is languishing in Congress, caught up in a debate over U.S. immigration policy and border security. Some Democratic lawmakers have spoken of making the proposed $14.3 billion in American assistance to its Mideast ally contingent on concrete steps by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government to reduce civilian casualties in Gaza during the war with Hamas."

The Israeli dictator is unwilling, and worse, incapable of doing so in Gaza.  War can't be waged in such a heavily-populated area without murdering innocent Palestinian civilians in the process.  Biden knows that.  So does the Israeli dictator.  So does the world community.  So do both Democrats and Republicans.

"The State Department said it had notified Congress of the sale late Friday after Secretary of State Antony Blinken determined “an emergency exists that requires the immediate sale” of the munitions in the U.S. national security interest. That means the purchase will bypass the congressional review requirement for foreign military sales. Such determinations are rare, but not unprecedented, when administrations see an urgent need for weapons to be delivered without waiting for lawmakers’ approval."

Will certainly cost Biden politically.  To say nothing of his credibility.

“The United States is committed to the security of Israel, and it is vital to U.S. national interests to assist Israel to develop and maintain a strong and ready self-defense capability. This proposed sale is consistent with those objectives,” the department said in a statement. “Israel will use the enhanced capability as a deterrent to regional threats and to strengthen its homeland defense.”

Delusional.  Lessens Israeli security.  Ignores war crimes perpetrated by Israel vis a vis the murder of innocent Palestinian civilians.  Will ensure the conflict will never end as others continuously replace Hamas casualties.

"The sale is worth $106.5 million and includes 13,981 120 mm High Explosive Anti-Tank Multi-Purpose with Tracer tank cartridges as well as U.S. support, engineering and logistics. The materiel will come from Army inventory."

How many innocent Palestinian civilians will be murdered by this ammunition?

NPR reports:

"The U.S. was one of just 10 other nations to oppose a United Nations General Assembly resolution demanding a cease-fire for the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas. The U.N. General Assembly approved the resolution 153 to 10 with 23 abstentions. This latest resolution is non-binding, but it carries significant political weight and reflects evolving views on the war around the world. The United States' position on this pledge comes after American representatives blocked an earlier resolution at the U.N. Security Council. U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Linda Thomas-Greenfield said the U.S. acknowledges that the humanitarian situation in Gaza is dire, but that it was Hamas that broke an earlier deal that allowed for a pause in fighting. "Look, there is no shortage of rhetoric here in New York, but it's the diplomacy the United States is engaging in on the ground that made that week-long pause possible," she said."

Empty, hollow, meaningless rhetoric considering the Israelis have murdered nearly 18,000 Palestinian civilians.

"During that weeklong pause in fighting, more than 100 hostages were released by Hamas. Thomas-Greenfield tried, and failed, to get the General Assembly to alter the resolution to denounce Hamas and their actions on Oct. 7. That attack on Israel killed 1,200 people and resulted in around 240 people being kidnapped. In response to that attack, Israel launched a military campaign that has killed nearly 18,000 Palestinians in Gaza, according to the territory's health officials."

While there is no excuse for the Oct. 7 Hamas attack, there is indeed no excuse for the Israeli murder of nearly 18,000 innocent Palestinians.  Not to neglect to mention the atrocities committed by the Israeli aggressor since the 1948 seizure of Palestinian land courtesy of the UN.  Much more on this as the story develops.

The effort to expose Wells Fargo egregious deceptive trade practices continues.  Several years ago to determinedly apply renewed pressure on our truly worthless, egregiously self-serving Texas Attorney General, now Governor, an excoriating email was sent to the bastard. Copies of which were also passed on to both offending Wells Fargo officers. A copy was also sent to the Davis campaign and others at the time.

Voters did have a right to know as Attorney General, the GOP candidate for Governor apparently selectively investigated, or not, bona fide complaints filed by citizens against banks too big to fail.  Possibly, Wells Fargo could have lined his pockets in some fashion.  That has yet to be determined.

The bastard and his office, no matter what, failed to respond to the complaint originally snail mailed several years ago.  This material, figuratively targeting Wells Fargo and the governor 'wannabe' now Governor, had been posted and can be found by scrolling all the way down and clicking on the links well below.  ... Governor? Wells Fargo bribe you to look the other way?

Will continue to do all I can to publicly expose this to all, both in this publication and elsewhere.  Have done precisely that with the following email sent to Matt Turner, Matt Turner Video Services, Marble Falls, TX.  A copy of it was also sent to Wells Fargo officer Amanda Wright.  She has, indeed, been promoted  branch manager. Reverse Darwinism.  Survival of the unfittest.

This young woman has indeed been rewarded by the Wells Fargo corporate management suite for engaging in criminal deceptive trade practices and her undying loyalty to her corporate masters. The process to update those already informed of this fiasco has finally been completed. This latest material can be found by clicking onWells Fargo Deceptive Trade Practices Salvo 240, 2-8-19.

The name of this publication was changed some fifteen years ago from The Llano Ledger to Liberty In Peril.  The reason?  Simple.  Cowardly failure of this community to stand up to tyranny that has only exponentially worsened the last decade and a half.  Clearly, demonstrated as well by the cowardly failure of businesses to financially support this publication.  Either through advertising or other financial support.  Too afraid doing so would enrage the bastards who run and own this hellhole County.

-- Despite the fact these businesses were, and are, being egregiously f--ked by these very same bastards. Tough, isn't it?  Impossible to entertain any sympathy for cowardice, however.  Especially in view of the fact this writer has placed himself in great jeopardy taking on these corrupt, abusive, inept criminal bastards. Alone.

Exactly, why you see no investigative material highly critical of these sons of bitches in other local rags.  Sadly, cowardly, all advertising income immediately dries up.  Consequently, the bastards continue their criminal chicanery with impunity.  On a rampage.  Thus, you get what you truly deserve.  Always.  Precisely, why this earlier name change to Liberty In Peril remains appropriate.  -- Despite the fact this writer has not yet left the area.  Ten years after originally intending to do so.  Thirty years in this goddamned godforsaken hellhole.

This writer, then and now, remains primarily interested in state, federal, and international issues.  Another reason for this publication name change.  Despite the fact I stupidly cluelessly remain here, local issues must be addressed.  Can't be ignored.  That's where you come in dear readers.  Have the courage to inform this writer of local abuse, corruption, ineptness you are aware of, have personally experienced.

... Information these criminal bastards do all they can to conceal, cover up.  Otherwise, how can they effectively sustain the charade and intended result? Loot confiscation through a boot heel on the throat of the citizenry.

The only way, short of an unwanted dreaded second American revolution, to force badly-needed change is to expose all this to the light of day.  These bastards are beginning to understand they have a problem.  No question, the growing rage of those they've abused, looted, egregiously f--ked.  It's time to stand up.  Expose this corruption to glaring sunlight.  Otherwise, as fools, cowards, you will remain under their thumb.  From the loftiest business owner to those on the bottom of the food chain.  Wake up.  Grow a pair.

Still don't think that likely to happen.  After all, you're bought and paid for.  Owned. Not only by your government masters, but their masters.  The corporate management suite.  Your employers.  Think not? Wake up.   You're human chattel.  Corporate-owned, bought and paid for.  Precisely, why you cowardly, compliantly, literally bare your asses for corporate inspection by the company doctor.  Willingly, compliantly, cowardly piss in a cup under employer supervision.  To sit in front of a keyboard or stock shelves all day.  You have no control of your lives.  You're owned.  Forget?  For a measly salary, no job security, reduced to no benefits.  At a time of record corporate profits and cash reserves.

Then, you gallingly complain about the oppression as you tolerate egregious theft of your labor. Not only by your corporate masters, but their bought and paid for government lackeys.  Too cowardly to stand up, allow disclosure of your identity when you rightfully complain to this publication of being mercilessly f--ked. Some of you falsely arrested, criminally assaulted, bogusly fined for 'offenses' you did not commit.  To line County coffers.  Keep the peasants in line and under control.  A fascist police-state. Nazi America.

Again, yet another reason why this publication is called Liberty In Peril.  Most galling? Nothing changes if you fail to step up and challenge corrupt, abusive, inept authority.  Too afraid, cowardly compliant to let the bastards know who you are.  Did it ever occur to the cowards out there if the identity of the accuser is kept under wraps the bastards will falsely claim it's all made up by this publication?  Thus, conveniently killing all credibility. Wake up.

Cowardice is unbecoming, unworthy of our formerly great country.  Insult to injury?  There are the hopelessly deranged who believe the chicanery reported here to be manufactured anyway.  No matter the effort.  No matter the research.  No matter the proof.  Wake up.  This writer cannot do it alone.  Snowball's chance in hell.  Then again, cowardice, delusion is always amply, justly rewarded.  Always. You continue to 'enjoy' the very best government money can buy.  Literally.
