Publisher's Note: This publication receives no financial support through advertising.  Although shaken down, looted, and abused by corrupt government, area businesses remain unwilling to stand up.  Locals are too gutless to donate financially, cowardly fearing retribution.  For this publication to survive, national readers need to contribute.  Liberty In Peril is, has been, and will always remain beholden to NO ONE. -- Precisely why there is no financial assistance.  ... From day of launch and certainly a no-brainer to this very day, firmly resolved to walk away first rather than compromise principle. -- To the chagrin of many and delight of few.    T.C. (5-7-13).

For new readers:  Fascism, nazism, national socialism defined as the pernicious blend of government, business, and religion.  'Justified' by perversion and bastardization of the latter.

No matter what, no matter where, this publication will remain up and running.  For it to remain centered here, however, financial and/or material support must be provided.  Status quo, unsustainable. Time to step up.  Now.

... Hey, Sheriff? Is it true Llano County Attorney Becky Lange has advised you to stay out of the "Berardi Property Rights Denial-Damage To Pace Arrow-Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764" fiasco?  That right, Bill?  Isn't that obstruction of justice?  Also true your deputies have advised the Bolens to accept the status quo and not force the no-trespassing issue with Greene?  If so, isn't that also obstruction and official oppression?  When will you do your job, Bill?  As an elected official, you answer to the public, forget?  -- No honor?  ... No honor at all? If the foregoing allegations are indeed true, didn't you swear an oath to uphold the law and Constitution?  Why aren't you doing so?  No guts?

Your deputy has been accused of abusing authority.  What action have you taken other than ignore the complaint?  Why aren't both Rodriguez and the County Attorney under criminal investigation?  The County Attorney appears to be obstructing justice, accepting the word of Greene in lieu of two surveyor companies who strongly assert otherwise.  Both the County Attorney and District Attorney have ignored complaints.  Par for the course in Llano County, isn't it?  Failed to do their jobs.  No surprise there, right, Bill?  Both receiving 'special consideration' up to and/or including a bribe from Greene?  Regardless, clearly, no justice in Nazi Llano County.  Bottom line?  Desperate need for an outside criminal investigation.  Conveniently, forget?  This County is ruled by men, certainly not rule of law and the United States Constitution.

Precisely, why there is desperate need for a new federal agency whose sole function would be to investigate, arrest, charge, and prosecute criminal law enforcement, prosecutors, and judges in a special court whose only mandate would be to adjudicate such cases.  Total independence.  Until that happens, the criminal bastards who falsely believe they run and own this hell hole County will continue to do as they please.

Some salient quotes occurring later on in this edition vis a vis unfinished business County officials continue to ignore:

... "No justice.  Precisely, why there is desperate need for a new federal agency whose sole function would be to investigate, arrest, charge, and prosecute corrupt, abusive, criminal officers, prosecutors, and judges in a special court that would adjudicate only these cases.  Total independence.  The only way to rein in these criminals, particularly the murderers in blue.

Sadly, the achingly clueless bastards in law enforcement don't need a legitimate reason to kill.  Enjoy carte blanche to murder on the job.  Nearly always, with impunity.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Sue the living shit out of the jackbooted motherf--kers, the department, and the city.  Any officer engaged in, or threatening this kind of unnecessary violence needs to be criminally prosecuted.  Not protected and coddled.  Not put on paid leave, -- no more than a paid vacation.  Not sent home without pay to catch up on his beauty sleep.

Firing is egregiously insufficient.  How can the law enforcement community be trusted?  No foreign power, no terrorist organization, not even the criminal element presents a greater threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties than the criminal jackbooted bastards in law enforcement.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Madam County Attorney?  "Sonny Boy?"

These are extremely dangerous times for our formerly great country.  ... Hear the rumble?  An unwanted dreaded second American revolution catastrophically looming.  -- As our legislators and other government officials figuratively 'fiddle while Rome burns.'

Not good enough.  Nowhere near.  Short of an unwanted dreaded second American revolution, only one way for these atrocities to end.  Again, time for a new federal agency whose sole function would be to investigate, arrest, charge, prosecute corrupt, abusive, criminal officers, prosecutors, and judges in a special court whose sole function would be to adjudicate such cases.  Total independence.

Local  and state authorities are egregiously incapable of handling these cases. Tend to protect their own.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Goes with the territory, doesn't it, Bill?  Precisely, why there is no faith or trust in your criminal jackbooted bastards.  Local authorities here in Nazi Llano County have their heads figuratively, securely lodged so far up their clueless ass their eyeballs are turning inside out.  Protect and coddle your clueless, out of control officers.  Imagine that.

Unadulterated, blatant ongoing horse shit.  ... Right, Bill?  F--k these jackbooted bastards.  Aren't worth a crap.  Continually abrogate their oaths of office to protect and defend the United States Constitution.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Includes not only deputies, but the brass as well.  No principles.  No honor.  Lying, conniving, abusive, murderous jackbooted thieving thugs.  The American Civil Liberties Union needs to step up and represent the victims of abusive law enforcement.

To say nothing of innocent civilians all across our formerly great country who are victimized by abusive police.  Need far better representation than a public defender.  Forget?  It's how the bastards in government line government coffers.  All too often, looting the innocent.  Those on the bottom of the food chain.  ... Right, Sheriff?

No justice.  The American Way.  Nazi America.  When is this shit finally going to end?  All of it.  Wake up, Sheriff.  Again, where is dashcam video of the killing of Jeffrey Gray Wise, 52, of Austin by DPS and the Llano County Sheriff's Office?  Three hundred seventy five weeks, now.  A goddamned disgrace.

Why are you still sitting on this information?  What are you hiding, Sheriff?  What is the identity of the officers who killed Wise?  Too gutless to release this information to the public that pays your salary and that of your goons?  Reportedly, there were three officers involved in the shooting.  Who the hell are they?

When will the goddamned 'law' 'enforcement' community finally stop making excuses for engaging in outrageous criminal activity including blatant murder, violent assault, sexual assault, theft, drug trafficking, etc.?  List can go on and on.  Protecting its own no matter what it does or doesn't do?  Convenient, isn't it, Sheriff?  Again, no foreign power, no terrorist organization, not even the criminal element presents a greater threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties than all branches and levels of government, -- including law enforcement.

Corruption within law enforcement remains an existential threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties.  So what else is new?  ... Right, Bill?  Same old duplicitous, aggressively stupid shit occurs right here in Nazi Llano County.  ... Doesn't it, Sheriff?

Think it'll change any time soon?  Don't hold your breath, readers.  Not how things work in Nazi America, right, Sheriff?  Highly reminiscent of how your goons operate though, isn't it, Bill?  Forget?  'Stupid is as stupid does.'  F--ked up is f--ked up no matter where, no matter how.  Problem throughout all law enforcement.

Including right here in Nazi Llano County, right, Sheriff?  Too many officers clearly have their heads securely lodged where the sun seldom shines.  Egregious insanity continues to be perpetrated by the criminal jackbooted bastards in blue.  Ongoing issue.  All over our formerly great country.

Not just in Dallas as in the Guyger case, but all over the nation.  No end to it.  Surprised?  Why?  In today's increasingly national socialist climate anything goes, right, Bill?  Live in a de facto fascist police-state, quickly transitioning to the Trump nazi's Fourth Reich.  Certainly, a problem here in Nazi Llano County, isn't it, Sheriff?  Your goons, however, aren't held accountable when they egregiously f--k up.  Ever.

Precisely why you refuse to release information on your deputies to the long-suffering public? That is, employment history, criminal background, results of drug testing, etc..  ... Got to protect your criminal jackbooted thugs preying on the citizenry with virtual impunity, right, sir?

Equally pointedly, why hasn't Llano County Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764 been held criminally accountable for egregious abuse of power involving denial of property rights to a Kingsland property owner?  To say nothing of consequent resultant physical damage done to a motor home on that property.  Why are you protecting this clueless son of a bitch, Sheriff?

Why hasn't he been prosecuted for official oppression?  Where is financial compensation for the damage this jackbooted piece of human excrement is responsible for? Ferociously pointedly, why are the District Attorney and the County Attorney continuing to protect this jackbooted piece of shit?  He and others like him present an exigent threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties.

Equally to the point, why are your jackbooted pieces of human excrement refusing to enforce Berardi's property rights?  Your goons have failed to take action against Theresa Ahrens when she tore down a no trespassing sign and barrier on Berardi's property.  Have you, your goons, and/or Madam County Attorney been bribed by Johnny Greene?

Ahrens frequently drives all the way through Berardi's property.  Coup de grace?  When Berardi complained to Llano County Deputy Idle about the trespassing, the officer's response was insane.  Said the Sheriff told him to tell Berardi since Ahrens believes she owns his property she can't be charged with trespassing.  Perfect Catch-22, right, Sheriff?  You're not fit for office, Bill.  Bribed by Johnny Greene?

Why is Theresa Ahrens allowed by your goons to dictate what vehicles can and cannot be parked on Berardi's property?  Ahrens claims she has proof the property belongs to her where the vehicle was parked.  Has failed to produce it. Surveyors say otherwise.  Back up Berardi.  Yet, your jackbooted bastards refuse to enforce Berardi's property rights.  Why?  Somebody lining somebody's pockets, Sheriff?

Ms. Ahrens micro-mini portable 'house' is parked on an unused unmarked Llano County road.  Imagine that.  Madam County Attorney well-aware.  Has done nothing.  Shit squat.  Egregiously ignored her oath of office.  Someone bribing you, Becky?  Lining your pockets, Counselor?  Paying you not to sell the unused unmarked County road to Berardi?  Doesn't the County want and need the sale money, to say nothing of the resultant tax income?

No question, County and State agencies remain determinedly, concertedly, achingly incapable of criminal investigation of their own.  Precisely, why a new federal agency desperately needs to be created whose sole function would be to investigate, arrest, charge, prosecute corrupt, abusive, criminal officers, prosecutors, and judges in a special court whose sole function would be to adjudicate only such cases.  Total independence.  Certainly, go a long, long way to cleaning up this cess pool County.  Rein in the outrageously corrupt, abusive, achingly inept, self-serving assholes who run and own this hell hole.

Sheriff, you falsely claim the Kingsland County Commissioner has the authority to resolve this ongoing property rights issue.  Clearly, doesn't.  You, Madam County Attorney, and "Sonny Boy" are certainly an egregious impediment, continue to determinedly stonewall.  Someone's pockets are being lined.  Again, where's financial compensation for the damage Llano County Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764 is directly responsible for to the Pace Arrow?  Why hasn't he been prosecuted for this damage, to say nothing of infringement of Berardi's property rights?  -- Just getting started, Sheriff.  Far more to come.

-- You're not doing your jobs, Sheriff.  You've got a loose vicious dog problem in Kingsland, Bill.  When will you and the troops finally do something about this ongoing issue?  Certainly, a recurring problem on Skyline, particularly on occasion at the intersection of Odessa.  Pedestrians, runners, and cyclists are at risk.  Too busy lining County coffers with bogus tickets?"

... Hey, Sheriff?  Reportedly, promote Llano County Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764 to Sergeant?  If true, yet another classic example of survival of the unfittest in the law enforcement community.  Readers are reminded this is the very same idiot, clueless asshole responsible for thousands of dollars of damage to the Pace Arrow as reported in each edition of this publication.  Far more to Kingsland property owner James Berardi in a property dispute.  -- A dispute engineered by Johnny Greene, apparently financed by a bribe to the former County Attorney, current District Attorney, and Sheriff.  A federal investigation of Llano County government and the aforementioned allegedly corrupt and abusive bastards in this ongoing fiasco is desperately needed.  Tim Chorney.

Counselor:

The enclosed emails were sent to the Llano County Attorney and Sheriff, respectively, vis a vis the above matter.  Remain unanswered.  The County Attorney appears to be protecting and defending the deputy at behest of Kingsland property owner Johnny Greene.  May have received some consideration from Greene up to and including a bribe.  Are the County Attorney, Greene, and the Deputy under criminal investigation?  If not, why not?

Re:  Berardi Property Rights Denial-Damage To Pace Arrow-Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764

Counselor:

As you're well aware, we have an outrageously corrupt, abusive, achingly inept Llano County Sheriff's Office here in Nazi Llano County.  Worse, you and your office aid and abet these SS jackbooted bastards in black.  The issue at the moment is the same it's been the last six months.

How is it two surveyor companies, the Appraisal District, the Tax Office, the Precinct 3 Commissioner, even the goddamned Sheriff himself now states Kingsland resident James Berardi owns the lots in contention all these months?

Yet, you ludicrously assert that's not the County's legal position.  It's not?  Why not?  You claim you're not a real estate expert.  Rather than accept the advice of two surveyor companies, the Precinct 3 Commissioner, the Appraisal District, the Tax Office, and even the Sheriff himself, you've inexplicably chosen to follow the advice of property owner Johnny Greene, -- who conveniently happens to be reportedly in the oil industry.

Question to be asked.  Could you have received any 'consideration' in return, -- up to and including a bribe?  Only way to know for sure is for the District Attorney to conduct a criminal investigation.  Apparently, there has been none.  If not, why not?

Equally pointedly, why hasn't Llano County Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764 been held criminally accountable for egregious abuse of power involving denial of property rights to this Kingsland property owner?  To say nothing of consequent resultant physical damage done to a motor home on that property.

Our achingly useless, worthless, gutless Sheriff has ignored an email vis a vis the damage this jackbooted thug is responsible for.  Interestingly, his fellow officers believe him to be an idiot.  Yet, the Sheriff continued to defend this piece of human excrement until he realized  this entire fiasco would not be swept under the carpet.

Rodriguez is indeed an idiot.  Would you believe this piece of crap ordered the motor home to be moved on to an unmarked unused Llano County road? That motor home has indeed been moved back to where it was parked before Rodriguez forced it to be moved.  Why hasn't the County paid for the cost of moving it back?  To say nothing of the damage.

Equally pointedly, why is it the County has allowed Theresa Ahrens to park and live in her tiny cottage on that very same road?  Why hasn't she been evicted by the County?  Why was she assessed taxes on an adjacent improvement she doesn't own?

Why is it, Counselor, Johnny Greene is paying for the attorney retained by Ms. Ahrens?  Is Greene attempting to make this all go away by bribery?  Greene has also informed Berardi he is going to sue.  For what?  Has Greene lost his mind?

What about Wells who installed a $4500 septic system on a lot turns out he does not own as a result of Greene, an outrageously inept County, to say nothing of the Llano County Attorney who remains equally determinedly clueless?

How about Bolen who hasn't a pot to piss in, but was nonetheless f--ked over by Greene to say nothing of an egregiously inept County, to say nothing of you and your goddamned equally incompetent office?

None of this is going away, Counselor, -- any time soon.  Will not be swept under the carpet as all the other crap going on in this hell hole County.  Not a chance.  Expect a full expose in this publication whether or not this outrageous fiasco finally gets resolved.  Including full public exposure of both the Sheriff and his jackbooted thug.

Who are they, Sheriff? Their past history?  An ongoing investigation remains a lame bullshit excuse.  How can you and your goons be trusted when you refuse to disclose information? Three hundred seventy five weeks.  Especially, your egregious failure to disclose the identity of the officers who pulled the trigger.  To cover your sorry ass, Sheriff?  Those of your thugs?  The people have a right to know what happened, how it went down.  You don't understand that, Sheriff?  Sadly, clearly, you answer to no one.  Including taxpayers.  Especially, taxpayers.

Until you and your goons come clean, doubt will remain this was indeed a good shoot.  The longer you drag your feet, the greater the doubt.  Think not?  Wake up.  Your credibility has tanked.  Isn't getting any better as this bullshit continues unabated.  Three hundred seventy five weeks.  Still no identification of the officers involved  ... Can't get your stories straight?  In line?  Discrepancy between LCSO and DPS? Wake up, Sheriff.  The public no longer buys the bullshit.  No longer trusts you.  On this and many, many other issues.  You have no credibility.  Absolutely, none.

Readers, this is but one of about four other highly questionable killings by law enforcement in Llano County in the last decade or so.  There was one within the City of Llano, another in a field near Fuzzy's Corner, Buchanan Dam, yet another in Point Tella, Buchanan Dam, still another in Tow.  If there are any others I may have neglected to mention, kindly email.

It's time the public be fully informed.  -- Know what we're dealing with here and how 'law' 'enforcement' operates in this hell hole County.  If these jackbooted bastards are not reined in, the life lost could be many  others courtesy of a law enforcement system that is no longer accountable to anyone.  ... Right, Sheriff?  TL?  "Sonny Boy?"  Madam County Attorney?

The Sheriff seems to have no clue the people who pay him and his goons are entitled to know whom is killing whom and why.  This shit always seems to be swept under the carpet.  Ignored.  The attitude of these jackbooted sons of bitches is trust us.  They can't be.  They've lied too many times.  Refuse to be accountable to anyone.  We live in a goddamned fascist police-state where law enforcement does as it pleases. Usually, with impunity.  This has to change.

The Texas Rangers have become rubber stamp to atrocities committed by law enforcement.  This also has to change.  No one is holding law enforcement accountable any longer.  No one.  No one in state or federal government. This is precisely why Ferguson triggered such an uproar.  There was no justice there.  None here.  None anywhere.  Officers are abusive, corrupt, inept.

Falsely ticket and arrest the innocent to line County coffers.  Court fees charged continue to be horrendous.  -- Aren't taxpayers already looted to pay these costs?  Aren't you not only double f--king those falsely accused, but taxpayers also hellaciously looted to pay the very same costs?   Yet, the criminal bastards in power in Llano continue to pile on the fees. This is nothing more than goddamned bullshit.  This money finds its way into the pockets of the corrupt, abusive bastards who falsely believe they run and own this hell hole.

Would you believe the last time the Sheriff's Office happened to be 'audited' during the Garrett regime, reportedly, auditors couldn't figure out what went where and why? Yet, surprise, surprise.  Nothing was done.  There has to be transparency.  There is none.  Why would these thieving bastards want any?  ... Right, Sheriff?  TL?  How else could they so easily steal and loot with virtual impunity?  Worse, this reinforces jackbooted power in this goddamned, godforsaken hell hole County.

The public has a right to know the histories of the Sheriff's goons.  Clearly, the Sheriff doesn't think so.  That is, where they came from.  Why they left where they were.  What is happening here is the Sheriff is using 'personnel matters' as a convenient excuse to deny the public access to the history of outrageously corrupt, abusive, inept officers who are no more than criminals themselves.

He's protecting his outrageously corrupt, abusive, inept jackbooted bastards.  Worse, the standards imposed by sheriff's offices statewide with the exception of metropolitan counties are well below those of DPS and city police departments.  Why?  So the corruption, abuse, ineptness, and outright stealing can continue unabated?  This has to change.  ... Can't have that, can we?  Sheriff?  TL?

The public should understand Llano County authorities have it all sewn up.  Did you know the Texas Attorney General does not have the authority to investigate and prosecute County authorities on his own?  The District Attorney has to call for an investigation by the Texas Rangers.  Then, the State can prosecute if it so chooses.

Consequently?  Guess what?  Nothing will happen.  Nothing ever does.  The goddamned corruption continues unabated until you, the public, pressure authorities.  Precisely, why we all enjoy the 'best' government money can buy. Literally.  Without question, the corrupt, abusive, inept sons of bitches are all bought and paid for.  Firmly clamped to the taxpayer tit.  Dependent on money looted from innocent citizens caught in their web.  Phony fines and court costs cleverly designed to f--k the innocent and enrich the pieces of shit who falsely believe they run and own Llano County. Right, Sheriff?  TL?  "Sonny Boy?"  Madam County Attorney?

Interestingly, the former Sheriff and District Attorney were reportedly forced to retire after an outrageous scandal involving a drunk driving police officer from out of town.  Including special treatment of the drunken son of a bitch that no other citizen caught doing the same would have been afforded. An honest, honorable Llano County Deputy suffered the consequences. Forget? Great officers do not last in this hell hole County. ... Right, Sheriff?  TL?  "Sonny Boy?"  Madam County Attorney?

With all ongoing abuse in this goddamned County, one thing remains for damned sure.  We're just getting started, Sheriff.  You will continue to be exposed for whom and what you and your corrupt, abusive, inept jackbooted bastards have become, truly are, not what you phonies purport to be, that is, how you continue to f--k over a public you've falsely sworn to protect and defend.  -- Exposure, the only way short of an unwanted dreaded revolution to force desperately needed change in a goddamned fascist police-state. The Fourth Reich.

Have your jackbooted thugs been tested for steroids, Sheriff?  If you've nothing to hide, Bill, release the results of all drug testing.  'Personnel matters?'  Bullshit.  Looted taxpayers have the right to know.  They're footing the bill for all this goddamned corruption, abuse, ineptness. When will you and the boys end the shakedowns?  Looting of the innocent to line County coffers?  No honor at all?

Where are your swastika armbands, you fascist son of a bitch?  You and your thugs remain out of uniform.  Once again, Sheriff, and ad nauseum, did you and/or your goons pressure Schilling to exit the race?  Did you steal the election? If so, an aggressively stupid, achingly gutless public gets what it truly deserves.  One of the most corrupt, abusive, inept 'law' 'enforcement' agencies in our formerly great country.

While the business and church communities stood tall during the recent Kingsland flood catastrophe, there was one glaring exception.  On 10-17-18, the Antlers Coffee Shop closed due to storm-related failure of the Kingsland water system. Patrons, however, are routinely allowed to get online outside even when the shop is closed.

A long-term coffee shop customer entered the hotel lobby to ask the desk clerk whether wifi was still up and running after the catastrophe.  She said it was and told the patron he could get online inside the closed shop.  She then asked him to have another regular customer who had just arrived outside to come in and get out of the cold as well.

Antlers co-proprietor Rick apparently quickly got wind of both customers, made quite a jackass of himself emulating the petulant narcissist currently occupying the Oval Office.  Aggressive stupidity at a time the Kingsland business community is indeed suffering, can least afford it.  Further proof positive of the old adage 'can fix ignorant, can't fix stupid.'

Why would, why should both customers put up with this?  Think this hasn't happened to others?

Highly reminiscent of our outrageously bought and paid for judiciary, Llano County prosecutors, Sheriff Bill Blackburn and his criminal SS jackbooted bastards in black who continue to egregiously disgrace themselves and the badge, do as they please regardless of the law and Constitution, carefully consider the following.  It's appalling.  Runs against the grain of everything our formerly great country once stood for.  No longer.

What could they possibly been thinking?  CBS News reports:

"A Georgia police department has issued an apology after photos and video shared by the department showed officers using shooting targets with photos of a Black man during a gun safety class. The images, shared by the Villa Rica Police Department on Saturday, June 17, showed that every single target was covered with a photo of a Black man."

Jesus Christ.  What could they possibly been thinking?  ... Or, is that the problem? They weren't thinking.

"The images appear to have been removed from the department's Facebook page, but the initial posts and comments remain. Many in the comments questioned the targets, calling them "offensive and disrespectful" and calling for an apology from the department. On Tuesday, the department shared an apology on Facebook, saying that they strive "to be conscious of how our relationship with our community members has a direct impact on our effectiveness within the community we serve." According to 2022 data from the U.S. Census Bureau, 42.6% of Villa Rica, a city of about 18,000, is Black."

-- All the more reason one would have thought they wouldn't have used photos of a Black man for target practice.  The following is well beyond hopelessly, achingly clueless.  Called aggressive stupidity,  -- where the insane perpetrator is determined to act as stupidly as possible:

"The targets utilized in our recent firearms class depict realistic human images and were part of a package which included target images of people from various ethnic groups," the department said. The apology did not explain why the only images shared showed Black men. The department has not responded to a request for comment from CBS News."

Surprised?  -- Not possible to credibly defend the indefensible.

"The department said that it was "never" their intention "to be insensitive, inflammatory or offensive to anyone."

LOL.  ... Just clueless?  LOL.

"However, we respect the honest opinions of our fellow citizens and apologize for any offense we may have caused," the department said. "We invite everyone to attend one of our next citizen firearms classes and share in a positive experience along side us."

Certainly, remains proof positive we have a long, long, long way to go before there is true equity in the system.

"The apology was quickly criticized, with commentators asking why the targets only featured a Black man despite the package allegedly including multiple ethnicities. The Carroll County NAACP also issued a response on Wednesday. "The 'apology' statement from your department via Facebook displays a lack of sincerity, sensitivity toward minority residents and makes it abundantly clear that your department lacks the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion that all local officials should strive to participate in," wrote Dominique Conteh, the president of the Carroll County branch, in a letter shared on Facebook. "We believe that DEI training would've given more insight as to the reasoning as to why those targets are 'unacceptable and deemed racist.'"

No kidding.  Without question.  The following is particularly disturbing:

"Conteh said the NAACP is requesting a meeting with the department's police chief, the Villa Rica mayor, the city manager and city councilwoman. There has not been any update from the organization since the request was issued."

Has the request been ignored?

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.  Forfeiture of liberty.  At the hands of outrageously corrupt and abusive government.

No longer.

Horrific murder perpetrated by the jackbooted bastards in blue.  CBS News(AP) reports:

"Three San Antonio police officers have been charged with murder in the fatal shooting of a woman who was experiencing what the city's police chief said was a "mental health crisis." Sgt. Alfred Flores and Officers Eleazar Alejandro and Nathaniel Villalobos were suspended without pay and later arrested on murder warrants in the shooting death of Melissa Perez, 46, when she refused police orders to come out of her apartment, Police Chief William McManus said Friday. "The officers' actions were not consistent with SAPD's policy and training," McManus said during a Friday night news conference. "They placed themselves in a situation where they used deadly force which was not reasonable given all the circumstances as we now understand them," McManus said. The San Antonio Police Department released a YouTube video detailing the incident on Friday. According to McManus, one of the three charged officers opened fire after Perez first threw a glass candlestick at the officers then swung a hammer at them. All three officers then fired when Perez approached them again with the hammer, hitting her at least twice, according to McManus. Perez was suspected of cutting the wires to a fire alarm, a felony, at the apartment complex and was talking to fire officials about 12:30 a.m. Friday when an officer approached and tried to get her to walk toward a patrol car, McManus said. Perez was speaking to a fire department official outside the complex when an unidentified officer arrived and is heard on body camera video calling "hey lady, get over here," with Perez refusing and walking away. "It appeared that Miss Perez was having a mental health crisis," McManus said without offering further explanation, and she then ran into her apartment. The video then shows an officer on the patio of Perez's apartment removing a window screen as Perez shouts "stop it" and "you ain't got no warrant." An unidentified officer shouts "you're going to get shot," to which Perez replies "shoot me - you ain't got no warrant." The sound of glass breaking is later heard followed by two volleys of gunshots."

Goddamned pitiful.

"Perez was pronounced deceased at the scene by EMS. McManus took no questions, citing ongoing investigations into the shooting."

Lack of transparency throughout all law enforcement, determinedly excused by supposed 'ongoing investigations,' remains an outrageous problem.  -- Combined with rampant deception to protect and coddle officers engaged in criminal activity, leads to an egregious lack of trust in all law enforcement.  Police don't seem to understand this.  Or, simply don't care.

"Both the SAPD Shooting Team and the Internal Affairs Unit are conducting separate inquiries, and their findings will be sent to the Bexar County District Attorney's office for an independent review, according to SAPD."

'Fox guarding the chicken coop.'

The following is a problem:

"Other officers were also at the scene, but none are expected to be charged, although all will be investigated for their actions, McManus said."

Wake up, Chief.  How can you possibly know whether or not they will be charged if the investigation is not complete?  Are you protecting and coddling the bastards?

"This incident will continue to be thoroughly investigated, as are all officer involved shootings," McManus said while expressing condolences to Perez's family."

Anything more than empty, hollow, meaningless rhetoric, Chief?

"Flores has been with SAPD for 14 years, while Alejandro and Villalobos have been with the department for five and two years, respectively, according to CBS affiliate KENS 5. All three were being held on $100,000 bonds. On Saturday morning, KENS 5 reported that all three had bonded out of jail."

These officers aren't rookies.  Had to have known better.  Were certainly out of control.  Think they don't present an ongoing threat to the community?

ABC News(AP) reports:

"Three San Antonio police officers, Sgt. Alfred Flores and Officers Eleazar Alejandro and Nathaniel Villalobos, have been charged, June 23, 2023, with murder in the fatal shooting of a woman who was experiencing what the city's police chief said was a “mental health crisis.” Murder charges were filed Friday against three members of the San Antonio Police Department after they allegedly shot and killed a woman in her apartment, the department said. Melissa Perez, 46, was shot and killed by the officers after they responded to a call about a woman allegedly destroying property, police said. The officers -- Sgt. Alfred Flores, Officer Eleazar Alejandro and Officer Nathaniel Villalobos -- were suspended following a review of the shooting, the department said in a statement late Friday. Their "actions are not consistent with SAPD's policy training and they placed themselves in a situation where they used deadly force which was not reasonable given all the circumstances as we now understand them," Chief William McManus said during a press conference. The officers had been dispatched at about 12:27 a.m. to an apartment complex on the city's southwest side after a report of vandalism, Lt. Michelle Ramos said in a video released by the department. A woman was reported to have "cut wires to an alarm panel" for the apartment complex, Ramos said. Officers arriving at the scene made contact with Perez outside and identified her, Ramos said, providing voice-over narration for body camera video from the officers. "It appears that Ms. Perez was having a mental health crisis," McManus said. "Officers attempted to get her to walk toward their patrol car, but she ran back to her apartment and she locked the door." The officers returned back to the house, Ramos said, where Perez allegedly picked up a hammer, prompting an officer to draw his gun. "The woman, while inside her home, threw a glass candle at the officers, striking an officer in the arm, causing minor injuries," Ramos said. Perez and the officers then "communicated" through the open window for about a half-hour, according to police. When an officer approached the door, Perez allegedly smashed a window on the door with the hammer, police said. "One officer fired multiple rounds toward the woman, but it did not appear she was struck by the gunfire," Ramos said. Perez then "moved away" before returning to the door "with the hammer in her hand," Ramos said. "At this time, two other officers shot toward the woman -- along with the first officer who fired the first round of gunshots," Ramos said. "The woman was struck by the gunfire and later pronounced deceased by EMS. No one, other than the woman, was injured by the gunfire."

An execution.

"An attorney for Perez's family, Dan Packard, released a statement Saturday on behalf of Perez's daughter, Alexis Tovar. "We have always been a pro-police family. This breaks my heart. I always trusted the police to protect me and now I don't know who to trust. We can't express how hurt we are," Tovar's statement read."

This crap has to end.  Status quo not sustainable.

Think law enforcement does not remain outrageously out of control?  The Associated Press reports:

"U.S. Customs and Border Protection has released body camera footage that shows Border Patrol agents were concerned that a tribal member they fatally shot last month may have been carrying a handgun during an encounter on a remote corner of the Tohono O’odham Nation in southern Arizona."

Think so?  Wake up.

"The man, Raymond Mattia, 58, died shortly after the shooting the night of May 18 outside a home in the reservation’s Menagers Dam community near the U.S.-Mexico border. Audio of a telephone call included with the video confirms the agency’s earlier report that the Tohono O’odham Nation Police Department called agents for help responding to a report of shots fired. The video released late Thursday shows Mattia throwing a sheathed machete at the foot of a tribal officer and then holding out his arm, actions that the CBP mentioned in its earlier account of events. Although the time stamp lists when the incident occurred as early May 19, the time is adjusted to -0400, which is four hours behind UTC and the same as EST. After Mattia was shot and on the ground, an agent declares: “He’s still got a gun in his hand.” The footage also shows several agents asking repeatedly whether anyone had found a firearm as they moved in to handcuff Mattia. There was no sign a handgun was found."

No problem with that?  None?

"CBP said earlier that the three Border Patrol agents who opened fire and at least seven others at the scene were wearing body cameras and activated them during the shooting."

Yet, no evidence their murdered victim was armed?  None?

"The agents involved in the shooting are on leave with pay."

What amounts to a paid vacation for killing a man under highly questionable circumstances?

"The Pima County Medical Examiner separately released its examination report Friday, which said Mattia had nine gunshot wounds. An accompanying toxicology report showed Mattia had a high blood alcohol level and drugs in his system, including amphetamine and oxycodone."

Think that justifies his execution?

"The FBI and Tohono O’odham Nation are investigating the shooting but have not released any findings. The shooting is also under review by CBP’s Office of Professional Responsibility."

The killing occurred over a month ago.  Yet, no findings released?  Are they dragging their feet?

Get this:

"No air ambulance was available to take Mattia to a hospital because of bad weather, CBP said, and despite lifesaving efforts, he was declared dead at the scene after consultation with a physician at a Tucson hospital."

No problems with that?  None?

"CBP says it has issued about 7,000 body cameras to agency workplaces under a program launched in August 2021. This year, it has released body camera video of several fatal shootings involving its agents, most recently a fatal shooting near Las Cruces, New Mexico, on April 2. In that case, agents shot a man they say came after them with a wooden club after he went through a checkpoint without stopping and led them on a nearly 23-mile (37-kilometer) chase."

No problems with that?  None?  Think that justifies his execution?  Think so?

In follow-up to a particularly egregious case covered earlier here and elsewhere, NBC News(AP) reports:

"Closing arguments are scheduled Monday in the trial of a former Florida sheriff’s deputy accused of failing to confront the shooter who murdered 14 students and three staff members at a Parkland high school five years ago. Prosecutors and the attorney for one-time Broward County Deputy Scot Peterson spent his trial contesting what he heard, saw and knew during the six-minute attack inside a three-story classroom building at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on Feb. 14, 2018. Peterson, 60, is charged with felony child neglect and other charges for his alleged failure to confront former student Nikolas Cruz before the gunman reached the 1200 building’s third floor, where six of the victims died. Peterson is not charged in connection with the deaths of 11 people killed on the first floor before he reached the building. It is the first time a U.S. law enforcement officer has been tried in connection with a school shooting. Prosecutors, during their two-week presentation, called to the witness stand students, teachers and law enforcement officers who testified about the horror they experienced and how they knew where Cruz was. Some said they knew for certain that the shots were coming from the 1200 building. Prosecutors also called a training supervisor who testified that Peterson did not follow protocols for confronting an active shooter. During his two-day presentation, Peterson’s attorney Mark Eiglarsh called several deputies who arrived during the shooting and students and teachers who testified that they did not think the shots were coming from the 1200 building. Peterson, who did not testify, has said that because of echoes, he could not pinpoint the shooter's location. Eiglarsh has also emphasized the failure of the sheriff’s radio system during the attack, which limited what Peterson heard from arriving deputies."

... Any excuse at all?

"The jury will also have to decide whether Peterson was a “caregiver” to the juvenile students who died and were wounded on the third floor — a legal requirement for him to be convicted of child neglect. Florida law defines a caregiver as “a parent, adult household member or other person responsible for a child’s welfare.” Caregivers are guilty of felony neglect if they fail to make a “reasonable effort” to protect children or don’t provide necessary care."

Clearly, the law has grown increasingly convoluted, difficult to enforce, and prosecute against the gutless jackbooted bastards in blue.

Carefully, consider the following.  Get this:

"Security videos show that 36 seconds after Cruz’s attack began, Peterson exited his office about 100 yards from the 1200 building and jumped into a cart with two unarmed civilian security guards. They arrived at the building a minute later. Peterson got out of the cart near the east doorway to the first-floor hallway. Cruz was at the hallway’s opposite end, firing his AR-15-style semiautomatic rifle. Peterson, who wasn’t wearing a bullet-resistant vest, didn’t open the door. Instead, he took cover 75-feet away in the alcove of a neighboring building, his gun still drawn. He stayed there for 40 minutes, long after the shooting ended and other police officers had stormed the building."

Goddamned gutless.

"Peterson faces up to nearly 100 years in prison if convicted, although because of his clean record a sentence anywhere near that length is highly unlikely."

Think that justice?  ... Or, protection and coddling of a gutless officer?

"He could also lose his $104,000 annual pension. He had spent nearly three decades working at schools, including nine years at Stoneman Douglas. He retired shortly after the shooting and was then fired retroactively."

Tough shit.

"Cruz’s jury couldn’t unanimously agree he deserved the death penalty. The 24-year-old former Stoneman Douglas student was then sentenced to life in prison."

Without chance of parole?  ... If not, think it justice?

In follow-up to an horrendous case covered repeatedly here and elsewhere, The Associated Press reports:

"All five Mississippi deputy sheriffs who responded to an incident where two Black men accused the deputies of beating and sexually assaulting them before shooting one of them in the mouth have been fired or resigned, authorities announced Tuesday.”

What took so long?  Why all the foot-dragging?  Protecting and coddling the jackbooted bastards?

"The announcement comes months after Michael Corey Jenkins and his friend Eddie Terrell Parker said deputies from the Rankin County Sheriff’s Department burst into a home without a warrant. The men said deputies beat them, assaulted them with a sex toy and shocked them repeatedly with Tasers in a roughly 90-minute period during the Jan. 24 episode, Jenkins and Parker said. Jenkins said one of the deputies shoved a gun in his mouth and then fired the weapon, leaving him with serious injuries to his face, tongue and jaw. The Justice Department opened a civil rights investigation into the Rankin County Sheriff’s Department after the episode. Rankin County Sheriff Bryan Bailey announced Tuesday that deputies involved in the episode had been fired, and some had already resigned. He would not provide the names of the deputies who had been terminated or say how many law enforcement officers were fired. Bailey would not answer additional questions about the episode."

Outrageous.  Lack of transparency destroys all faith and trust in law enforcement.

“Due to recent developments, including findings during our internal investigation, those deputies that were still employed by this department have all been terminated,” Bailey said at a news conference. “We understand that the alleged actions of these deputies has eroded the public’s trust in the department. Rest assured that we will work diligently to restore that trust.”

Lack of transparency screams otherwise, Sheriff.

"Bailey’s announcement also follows an Associated Press investigation that found several deputies who were involved with the episode were also linked to at least four violent encounters with Black men since 2019 that left two dead and another with lasting injuries. Deputies who had been accepted to the sheriff’s office’s Special Response Team — a tactical unit whose members receive advanced training — were involved in each of the four encounters."

Think things will ever change?

"Deputies said the raid was prompted by a report of drug activity at the home. Police and court records obtained by the AP revealed the identities of two deputies at the Jenkins raid: Hunter Elward and Christian Dedmon. It was not immediately clear whether any of the deputies had attorneys who could comment on their behalf. In a phone interview Tuesday, Jason Dare, an attorney representing the Rankin County Sheriff’s Department, said the department knows of five deputies who conducted the Jenkins raid. Jenkins and his attorney have said six deputies were at the home. All five identified by the department were either fired or resigned."

Get this:

"There is no body camera footage of the episode."

Why not?  Covering their ass?

Gets worse:

"Records obtained by the AP show that Tasers used by the deputies were turned on, turned off or used dozens of times during a roughly 65-minute period before Jenkins was shot."

How about that?  Torture before being shot.  ... Couldn't now be the American Way, could it?

"Jenkins and Parker have also filed a federal civil rights lawsuit and are seeking $400 million in damages. In a statement Tuesday, Malik Shabazz, an attorney representing Jenkins and Parker, celebrated the firing of the officers and called for criminal indictments of deputies by the state attorney general and the Justice Department."

Why hasn't that already happened?

“The firing of the Rankin County Mississippi Sheriff’s deputies involved in the torture and shooting of Michael Jenkins and Eddie Parker is a significant action on the path to justice for one of the worst law enforcement tragedies in recent memory,” Shabazz said. “Sheriff Bryan Bailey has finally acted after supporting much of the bloodshed that has occurred under his reign in Rankin County.”

Not fit to wear the uniform.

In follow-up to yet another horrendous case covered repeatedly here and elsewhere, ABC News(AP) reports:

"A retired Philadelphia police officer already in custody on child sex assault charges is now charged with dozens more sex crimes that stem from his time on duty. Former patrol officer Patrick Heron was previously charged with posing as an officer after he retired in 2019 to lure young girls into meeting him or soliciting intimate photos, allegations that District Attorney Larry Krasner has called alarming."

Quite an understatement.  -- To say the least.

"Heron is now charged with sexual misconduct against girls and women in 19 new cases stemming from 2005 to 2019, while he was on the police force. He is also charged with threatening or intimidating witnesses. “We keep learning there are more victims. We keep learning there is new evidence,” Lyandra Retacco, chief of the Special Investigations Unit of the District Attorney’s Office, said at a press conference, according to The Philadelphia Inquirer. Heron, 53, is being held without bail after his $2 million bail was revoked. His lawyer, Pierre La Tour, declined to comment on the new charges, the newspaper reported. The 233 new counts announced Tuesday include kidnapping, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, unlawful contact with a minor, sexual assault, child sexual abuse, indecent assault, and institutional sexual assault."

How did it go on as long as it did?

The following is inexplicable.  CBS News reports:

"A former police chief in Maryland was sentenced Tuesday to eight life sentences plus 75 years for setting a series of 12 fires targeting people who he felt had wronged him, CBS Baltimore reported. Former Laurel Police Chief David Crawford's sentences are concurrent, so his actual prison sentence is two life sentences, plus 75 years. Crawford, 71, has maintained his innocence throughout his trial, and his attorney said he plans to appeal the court's ruling, CBS Baltimore reported. Crawford was found guilty in March of eight counts of attempted first-degree murder, two counts of arson and a count of malicious burning connected to the fires that were set in six counties over a decade. He was arrested in March 2021. Prosecutors said Crawford was motivated by the slightest of grudges, using gasoline to burn people's cars, garages and homes. In what prosecutors called "very strong circumstantial case," detectives used cellphone data, relationships and computer searches identify Crawford as the suspect. Police also discovered a coded "target list" on Crawford's phone, according to charging documents. Officials say the case started with a fire in Prince George's County in 2011. Crawford was also linked with a series of fires in Howard County between 2017-18. They were all deemed "incendiary" in nature, meaning there were no accidental sources found in the area of the fire. Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that the structures and vehicles that Crawford intentionally set on fire were connected to victims with whom he or his wife, Mary, had previous disagreements. All of the fires were set outside of the homes sometime around 3 a.m. when occupants would be sleeping inside."

A former police chief.

"The victims include a former city official, three former law enforcement officials, two relatives, two of Crawford's former physicians and a resident in his neighborhood. One of the victims was his stepson. Crawford is a former local law enforcement official who last served in 2010 when he resigned as Chief of the City of Laurel Police Department. He also served as police chief for District Heights and previously worked for the Prince George's County Police Department as a major in 2000. Howard County State's Attorney Rich Gibson told CBS Baltimore he is pleased with this sentence and hopes it brings peace to the victims of the fires. "I think there is true evil in the world and I think this is an example of that," Gibson said."

NPR reports:

"Six times, families in Maryland woke up to the terror of a fire burning at their homes, the work of an arsonist. He hit one target three times — including just before a family was about to move back into their damaged home. In all, 12 fires damaged or destroyed cars and buildings. Some attacks were caught on video. But for years, investigators didn't know who was setting the fires, which hit several Maryland counties over nearly a decade. Then came another shocker: the man behind the fires was David Crawford, who had repeatedly pledged to protect others and had recently been the police chief in Laurel, Md. In a stunning turn of events, Crawford was arrested in 2021; a Howard County jury convicted him in March, after prosecutors presented a "target list" of victims and other evidence. And now Crawford, who spent his career in law enforcement, has been sentenced to eight life terms, plus 75 years. Some of those terms will run concurrently, leaving Crawford, 71, with an "executable prison sentence" of two life terms, prosecutors said. "The horror and nature of arson is so deeply powerful in its impact and complete in its destruction in the victim's peace of mind that it is only fitting the defendant spend the rest of his natural life behind bars," State's Attorney Richard Gibson said after the sentencing. The attacks took place in the counties of Howard, Frederick, Charles, Montgomery, Anne Arundel and Prince George's, from 2011 to 2020. "Concealed within the suspect's cellular phone, Investigators found a 'Target List', listing all known victims," according to court documents filed in the case. Crawford targeted people for a range of reasons, from perceived slights by his former colleagues to anger directed at his chiropractors. There were also racial and social motivations: One entry on his arson target list identified a person only as "White Privilege." That reference was linked to Crawford's wife, Mary, who disputed the concept of white privilege during training for volunteers in a Court Appointed Special Advocate program, according to charging documents in the case. After the program's coordinator removed Mary Crawford from the program, a car was set on fire at the coordinator's home, causing significant damage to her mother's 2014 Toyota Camry. And after Crawford disagreed with a woman who served with him on a committee setting new school district boundaries, he caused more than $340,000 in damages to her home, setting three separate fires, investigators said. Another trio of fires targeted Crawford's stepson and his family — first at one home in Montgomery County, and then at a different address. In one of those fires, a neighboring townhouse sustained more than $40,000 in damages. Crawford apparently had several heated arguments with his stepson shortly before the first of those fires, in 2016. Other fires targeted people Crawford clashed with during his police days, including police and city officials he believed had worked against him."

Get this:

"When investigators in one Maryland county shared a video of an arsonist at work, their peers in other counties recognized similarities to a suspect in their own cases. Their collaboration eventually led to David Crawford, a former police chief. Investigators from several police and fire agencies identified telling patterns in the fires. In some cases, surveillance video captured the arsonist on camera, showing a man gushing gasoline onto cars and buildings before lighting fires that were sometimes explosive. His identity was shielded by a hoodie."

How the case finally broke:

"While community tips and witnesses helped build a case against Crawford, Prince George's County Battalion Chief Shajahan Jagtiani said at the time of Crawford's arrest that a breakthrough came when his county, after running out of leads in a 2019 arson, decided to post video of the arsonist online. When an investigator in neighboring Montgomery County saw the footage, alarm bells went off. "That surely looks exactly like the person in my video," Lt. Christopher Moe recalled thinking when he saw the footage. The investigators started to meet and share information, convinced they were chasing the same man. The case grew from there. Finally, a key connection was made: all the victims had had disagreements with Crawford. And in several cases, victims said he had called or messaged them shortly after the fires, even asking for photos. When officers searched Crawford's home, they found the document titled "Target List," naming his victims. Electronic devices provided a host of details about Crawford's activities, from Google Map searches for victims' addresses to Apple Health app data showing he was awake and active during the pre-dawn timeframe of several attacks. A trove of evidence was also recovered from an attack that went very badly for Crawford in 2011, when he set fire to two vehicles at the home of Laurel's then-deputy city manager. In scenes caught on video, the arsonist inadvertently set his own lower leg on fire and stomped his shoe in an attempt to put out the flames. Investigators found that shoe — a size 10 Nike sneaker — along with a Bic lighter, a wooden stick and, farther afield, the remnants of some burned-up jeans. Records also showed that Crawford's email was used in a posting on a medical forum about a burn on his calf, about 17 days after the arsonist was seen setting his leg on fire. Officers later confirmed that he sustained a burn scar in that spot."

Clearly, quite a bit of investigative effort.

"No one other than Crawford was reported as injured in the fires. But the charging document stated, "A reasonable person would know that if you set a fire to a home in the middle of the night when most people are sleeping, serious injury and/or death are likely." Crawford's career in law enforcement dates to the 1970s. He earned the rank of major in the Prince George's County Police Department before retiring in 2000 and becoming chief at the District Heights Police Department. He was the police chief in Laurel from 2006 until he resigned in 2010. Crawford was found guilty of eight counts of attempted first-degree murder (because some of his victims were sleeping in the homes he set on fire), along with three counts of first-degree arson and one count of first-degree malicious burning."

Think the following isn't a figurative slap in the face of law enforcement by the Trump nazi?  Fascism, nazism, national socialism defined as the pernicious blend of government, business, and religion.  'Justified' by perversion and bastardization of the latter.  NBC News reports:

"Former President Trump spoke on Thursday at a fundraiser on behalf of people charged in the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol — even as he faces scrutiny from national and state prosecutors for his own actions surrounding the attempt to stop the certification of Joe Biden’s 2020 election win."

Insult to injury?  Get this.  It's appalling considering all the injuries and casualties resulting from the January 6 insurrection inspired by the Trump nazi:

“I’m going to make a contribution,” Trump told the gathering hosted at his own private golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey. The group, Patriot Freedom Project, included at least one actual defendant along with multiple family members of those charged in the attack. An attendee of the fundraiser verified a video posted online of Trump’s remarks. The former president heralded the defendants."

What nazi dictator wouldn't?  Fascism, nazism, national socialism defined as the pernicious blend of government, business, and religion.  'Justified' by perversion and bastardization of the latter.

“You have police officers, you have firemen, you have teachers, you have electricians, you have great people, and they’ve been made to pay a price — in many cases, not all cases,” Trump said, before propagating false claims that “BLM and antifa” were behind the Capitol attack."

Expect better of a congenital liar?  Think prosecutors won't use his financial contribution and hosting of these bastards at his own private golf club against the son of a bitch?

"Jeffrey Clark, the former Justice Department official under Trump who sought to help overturn the 2020 election, also spoke at the event. The crowd included Cynthia Hughes, the founder of Patriot Freedom Project and aunt of Jan. 6 defendant Timothy Hale-Cusanelli —a Nazi-sympathizer sentenced to four years in prison — as well as Derrick Evans, a Jan. 6 defendant who is a former West Virginia lawmaker now running for the GOP nomination for a House seat. Geri Perna, the aunt of Jan. 6 defendant Mattthew Perna, who died by suicide, also attended. Trump has increasingly touted the Jan. 6 defendants’ cause on the campaign trail. His rallies have featured the song “Justice for All,” Trump’s version of the national anthem with the “J6 choir” of inmates awaiting trial for their roles in the insurrection."

Goddamned galling.

"In April, at a campaign stop in New Hampshire, he embraced a woman who served time in jail for her role in the Jan. 6 riot and has called for former Vice President Mike Pence to be executed. He has also said he would pardon “a large portion“  of the Jan. 6 rioters if he is re-elected to the White House. "

Goddamned galling.

"NBC News reached out to the Trump campaign and the Patriot Freedom Project for comment but did not hear back."

At least, one Republican candidate for president is standing tall against the Trump nazi.  Fascism, nazism, national socialism defined as the pernicious blend of government, business, and religion.  'Justified' by perversion and bastardization of the latter.

The Washington Post reports:

"Former New Jersey governor Chris Christie (R) was met with boos Friday at a gathering of politically active religious conservatives in Washington as he attacked former president Donald Trump’s character and accused his fellow 2024 White House hopeful of a “failure of leadership.”

Nothing quite like the truth, is there?

"Christie, among a half-dozen GOP presidential aspirants to speak at a morning session of a Faith and Freedom Coalition event, sought to elevate the issue of “character” during his remarks, telling the audience that leaders need to concede mistakes. “Beware, everybody, of a leader who never makes mistakes,” Christie said. “Beware of a leader who has no faults. Beware of a leader who says that if something goes wrong, it’s everybody else’s fault, and he goes and he blames those people for anything that goes wrong. But when things go right, everything is to his credit.” Christie soon made clear that he was talking about Trump, the GOP front-runner who enjoyed robust support from evangelical Christians in his past two runs for the presidency. “I’m running because he’s let us down,” Christie said after recounting his past support for Trump. “He has let us down because he’s unwilling … to take responsibility for any of the mistakes that were made and any of the faults that he has and any of the things that he’s done. And that is not leadership, everybody. That is a failure of leadership.” At that point, Christie acknowledged the boos that had begun in an audience filled with fans of the former president. “You can boo all you want,” Christie said. “But here’s the thing: Our faith teaches us that people have to take responsibility for what they do. People have to stand up and take accountability for what they do. And I, I cannot stand by.” Christie never explained what mistakes he believes Trump has made, but in the past, he has been highly critical of Trump falsely claiming he won the 2020 election and accusing him of inciting the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol. The episode underscored how Christie is trying to position himself as a bare-knuckled brawler best equipped to take the fight to Trump — as well as the challenge that poses in winning over voters still fond of the former president. Other Trump rivals who spoke Friday morning offered criticisms of the former president but were less direct. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), for example, told the audience that Republicans “cannot continue the culture of losing” but didn’t mention Trump by name."

NBC News reports:

"Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie was booed while addressing a gathering of top conservatives Friday after he accused former President Donald Trump of failing the Republican Party. Christie, who is running to be the GOP's 2024 presidential nominee, used his address at the annual Faith and Freedom Coalition conference in Washington to make the case for his presently anemic White House bid, touting his record as New Jersey's governor and assailing the former president's record. "I'm running because he's let us down," Christie said of Trump, as some in the audience began to boo. Trump has not assumed responsibility for his past mistakes, Christie said, describing Trump as a failed leader unfit to serve another term in the White House. "You can boo all you want," Christie said as the jeers grew louder. "But here's the thing, our faith teaches us that people have to take responsibility for what they do," Christie added, this time as audible clapping began to clash with the boos. "People have to stand up and take accountability for what they do." As the contrasting clamor of boos and claps began to quiet, Christie moved to justify his frequent criticism of the former president. Trump, he said, once asked him to serve as White House chief of staff, but now only "calls me names and belittles me" along with others the former president disagrees with. "Those kinds of things," Christie said, "makes our country smaller."

"Christie has emerged as a vocal critic of Trump after the former president refused to concede his loss in 2020. Christie was among Trump's closest allies — he led Trump's 2016 presidential transition team and helped Trump prepare for the 2020 presidential debates against Joe Biden — but he broke with the former president after Trump began propagating baseless allegations of widespread voter fraud. Christie took direct aim at Trump when he launched his White House bid this month, and has since juxtaposed himself with other Republican candidates through his seemingly constant criticism of the former president. “The person I am talking about who is obsessed with the mirror, who never admits a mistake, who never admits a fault, and will always find someone else — and something else — to blame for whatever goes wrong, but finds every reason to take credit for anything that goes right, is Donald Trump,” Christie said in his campaign launch. But his candidacy has been met with limited fanfare in a Republican Party still moored to the former president, with surveys showing far more support for Trump, at about 52%, than Christie, at about 2 percent, according to a RealClearPolitics average of polls in recent weeks."

Another Republican stands tall against the Trump nazi.  Fascism, nazism, national socialism defined as the pernicious blend of government, business, and religion.  'Justified' by perversion and bastardization of the latter.

The Washington Post reports:

"Ex-congresswoman Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) offered a blunt assessment of her former profession Monday night: “What we’ve done in our politics is create a situation where we’re electing idiots.”

No question.  Both parties.

"Cheney, who lost her Republican primary last year to a candidate backed by former president Donald Trump, shared her view at an event that was billed as a conversation on the future of the two-party political system in the United States."

Doesn't look good for either party.  -- For totally different reasons.  Sad, isn't it?

"Cheney, who co-chaired the House select committee that investigated the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol, has emerged as a leading critic of Trump, repeatedly calling him “unfit for office.” In the conversation Monday at the 92nd Street Y in New York, guided by moderator David Rubenstein, Cheney said ensuring Trump doesn’t return to the White House is her top priority."

Indeed.  For both parties.  No greater threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties than Trump.

"That prompted Rubenstein to ask whether Cheney would run for president as an independent next year if presented with polling data showing such a bid would damage Trump. “Look, I think that the country right now faces hugely challenging and fundamentally important issues,” Cheney responded. “And what we’ve done in our politics is create a situation where we’re electing idiots.”

No question about that.  Again, both parties.

"After laughter from the audience subsided, she continued: “And so, I don’t look at it through the lens of, is this what I should do or what I shouldn’t do. I look at it through the lens of, how do we elect serious people? And I think electing serious people can’t be partisan.”

Great truth to that.

“You know, because of the situation that we’re in,” Cheney continued, “where we have a major-party candidate who’s trying to unravel our democracy — and I don’t say that lightly — we have to think about, all right, what kinds of alliances are necessary to defeat him, and those are the alliances we’ve got to build across party lines.”

Great truth to that.

"The conversation moved on without Cheney directly answering whether she might move forward with a presidential bid if it could damage Trump."

Surprised?  Here's likely why:

"Earlier, she suggested she wouldn’t run for president if she thought doing so could help Trump, who has continued to lead in Republican primary polling despite state and federal indictments. “I am not going to do anything that would help Donald Trump,” Cheney said."

Think racism isn't alive and well?  Sadly, the Florida governor remains determinedly, hopelessly clueless vis-a-vis his racist 'woke' ideology.  There are also some unresolved issues in the Department of Veterans Affairs.  NBC News reports:

"Black veterans who ask the Department of Veterans Affairs for physical or mental health benefits are less likely to get them than their white counterparts, according to new data compiled by the VA. In fiscal year 2023, 84.8% of all Black veterans who applied for physical or mental health benefits were given assistance by the VA, compared to 89.4% of their white counterparts who applied. The VA data includes information dating back to fiscal year 2017, which shows that white veterans have had a higher grant rate than their Black counterparts every year. On Thursday, the VA launched a new Agency Equity Team to try to figure out why health and other benefits are doled out at different rates and whether the VA can level the playing field for Blacks, women and LGBTQ+ veterans. “At VA, it’s our mission to serve all Veterans, their families, caregivers, and survivors as well as they’ve served our country. This new Agency Equity Team will help us deliver on that promise,” said VA Secretary Denis McDonough said in a statement. “The team’s first order of business will be identifying any disparities in VA health care and benefits and eliminating them.” The new data about white versus Black veteran benefits reinforces NBC News reporting from earlier this year that Black veterans were denied disability benefits for post-traumatic stress disorder at higher rates than their white counterparts, according to data from 2017. The never-before disclosed data now shows that from FY 2017 to FY 2023 that trend has decreased slightly, but a higher percentage of Black vets are still denied PTSD benefits than white vets.  VA press secretary Terrence Hayes called the creation of the Agency Equity Team “a unique opportunity” to re-engage with veterans who filed claims in the past and were denied and may have lost faith in the system.” “They may have lost trust with VA because of those denials, but now we have a unique opportunity to bring them back into our health care system or to get them to re-apply to get the benefits that they earned,” Hayes said."

What took so long to address this issue?  Especially, in light of the following:

"Despite the fact that Black vets have a steeper hill to climb to be granted assistance, the overall percentage of Black veterans who receive benefits is actually higher than white vets because Black veterans apply at a much higher rate. Nearly half of the 3 million Black veterans alive today have applied for benefits versus fewer than one-third of nearly 15.5 million white veterans. About 36.5% of all living Black veterans are receiving VA benefits, compared to 28.4% of white veterans. “Studies have shown that Black veterans are more likely to serve in combat, they are more likely to report PTSD and other health conditions, and they are more likely to use health care than their white counterparts. So all of that may explain why there’s a higher percentage of Black veterans who apply for and receive disability benefits from VA,” said VA Under Secretary for Benefits Josh Jacobs. “The bottom line from this data is that there’s more work to be done to fully understand the trend and so that’s why we’re standing up this new Agency Equity Team,” said Jacobs. The goal of the VA’s new equity team, officially known as the I*DEA (inclusion, diversity, equity and access) Council, is to eliminate gaps in VA health care and benefits to ensure historically underserved veteran communities receive fair treatment. At issue are the tax-free benefits that the VA provides to veterans to compensate for injuries, illnesses or disabilities that arose during service or were worsened or aggravated by their military service."

There are other issues to be addressed:

"The council will also examine and address obstacles to hiring, promoting and retaining employees. Laurine Carson, who has worked for the VA at the state and national level for more than three decades, will head up a new Equity Assurance Office that will focus specifically on issues concerning the benefits system and report back to the I*DEA Council. The new initiative will go beyond racial disparities to examine challenges faced by other groups, including women, LGBTQ+, tribal communities and veterans who live in rural areas."

The following is also a problem that needs resolution:

"VA officials could not provide data about differences between benefit grant rates for other underserved populations. “We are digging deep to understand what’s going on and so we’re doing that by looking at the data,” Jacobs said. Hayes, the VA press secretary, said the I*DEA Council and the Equity Assurance Office will "peel that onion back to determine how that works with Black versus white veterans, or LGBTQ+ veterans, or our women veteran population. The whole goal is to ensure that any veteran who comes to the department and is filing their claim receives equal treatment across the board.” Jacobs hopes this initiative will encourage veterans from those underserved groups to re-apply for benefits. “I want them to know we are actively looking into any disparities that exist in VA and we’re going to eliminate them. And as we do that we’re going to work to earn your trust or re-earn their trust day by day and we’re going to do that by being transparent by getting you the healthcare and the benefits that you deserve,” Jacobs said."

Hopefully, this will result in more than just empty, hollow, meaningless rhetoric.

Think we aren't losing our country?  The Washington Post reports:

"Last year, a South Carolina emergency dispatcher stayed on the line with two teenagers who said they were being chased by two pickup trucks at high speed. On the other end of the call, the voice sounded increasingly desperate. “They’re making us get out of the car with guns,” one of the teenagers said, according to audio recordings of the 911 call obtained by The Washington Post. “Ma’am, I’m sorry. I’m getting — we’re getting on the ground.” The teens had, about 10 minutes earlier, told the dispatcher they had turned around in someone’s driveway, prompting the man and another driver — later identified as Townville Fire Chief Billy McAdams and his son — to pursue them, according to the audio. Over the next several minutes, the teenagers said they’d almost been chased off the road and blocked — and by 7:20 p.m., were face down in the middle of a road with a pistol pointing at them. That Aug. 29 encounter is now at the center of an investigation South Carolina authorities reopened last week. It’s also the basis of a lawsuit filed earlier this year against McAdams and his son, Wyatt, by the mothers of two 17-year-olds identified in court documents as “John Doe” and “Richard Roe.” The suit accuses the McAdamses of falsely imprisoning the two teens, assaulting them and intentionally inflicting emotional distress. In a court filing, McAdams admitted to chasing the car and pointing his pistol at the boys but denied the charges set forth in the lawsuit. “First and foremost, Mr. McAdams is extremely concerned about the situation and is committed to addressing any allegations with the utmost sincerity and cooperation,” Amanda Bradley, the McAdamses’ attorney, said in a statement to The Post. “We believe a complete picture of all the facts will validate our client’s position and are confident in the ability of the legal system to deliver justice.”

Outrageously:

"No one was charged after the incident, and the case was closed soon after. This week, FOX Carolina obtained the reports and 911 recordings. The station reported that the investigation into the 2022 incident had been reopened. Jimmy Watt, a spokesperson with the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office, confirmed to The Post that the case has been reopened “due to new information.” The situation began around 7 p.m. one night last summer when Doe and Roe were scouting geese at a nearby lake ahead of the hunting season, the lawsuit alleges. The teenagers were driving down a road near the rural town of Townville when they realized they had to turn back. They spotted a “large, well-maintained gravel drive that appeared to be suitable for turning around,” the lawsuit states, and decided to do a three-point turn there. It was McAdams’s driveway. The fire chief, who in 2016 gained national attention after being one of the first responders to the Townville Elementary School shooting, didn’t recognize the car, nor could he see who was inside because of its tinted windows, according to a sheriff’s office incident report. McAdams and his son then jumped into their trucks and followed the teenagers — a decision McAdams told an officer he made following “a lot of thefts” at his home, the report states. Noticing they were being chased, the teenagers called 911. “They’re yelling and trying to run us off the road,” a teen told the dispatcher. “And all we did was we just made a little quick turn around in their yard, gave them a wave because they were in their garage. We went by, and they’ve just been chasing us ever since.”

Sad, isn't it?

“We were going to pull over to just like, tell them what we’re doing, but they were extremely enraged, and we didn’t want to have a gun pulled on us or anything like that,” he added, according to the audio recordings. During the next 15 minutes, dispatchers from two counties scrambled to make sense of what was going on. While dispatchers from Oconee County talked to the two teenagers who said they’d been pulled into a high-speed chase, McAdams had called the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office to say he “possibly witnessed a robbery and is following a car” into Oconee County, according to recordings of the calls. When authorities in the two counties realized it was the same incident, the Oconee County dispatcher urged an Anderson County officer to tell McAdams not to exit his vehicle, but the fire chief had already hung up, the audio recordings show. The teens, meanwhile, had been sandwiched at an intersection by the McAdamses, the lawsuit alleges. The fire chief then screamed at them and urged them to get on the ground. While they did, they kept in contact with the emergency dispatchers, who asked them to pass the phone to the fire chief. McAdams later said in a court filing that he “put away his weapon when he saw how young the two unidentified individuals were.” “Billy, listen. Listen. Can you get in your vehicle as well and just not talk to them and separate yourself from them? We’ve got people headed that way, okay?” the dispatcher told McAdams, according to the recordings. “I’m good. I can sit right here. We’re going to pull up to this next driveway … I’m not going anywhere,” he responded. McAdams and the two teenagers then waited for law enforcement in a “random lady’s driveway,” one of the teenagers said."

Get this:

"Officer Patrick Heaton from the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office arrived by 7:28 p.m. He interviewed everyone involved and cleared the scene. A few hours later, the “frustrated” mother of one of the teenagers called the sheriff’s office and said her son “did not understand why a gun had to be involved,” according to an incident report. A report from the sheriff’s office documents efforts to call the families as part of the ensuing investigation, but when officers couldn’t make contact after multiple tries, the case was closed. The teenagers’ mothers filed the lawsuit against McAdams and his son on April 3. Their complaint alleges that his conduct was “utterly intolerable in a civilized community.” A hearing has not yet been scheduled in the case."

The effort to expose Wells Fargo egregious deceptive trade practices continues.  Several years ago to determinedly apply renewed pressure on our truly worthless, egregiously self-serving Texas Attorney General, now Governor, an excoriating email was sent to the bastard. Copies of which were also passed on to both offending Wells Fargo officers. A copy was also sent to the Davis campaign and others at the time.

Voters did have a right to know as Attorney General, the GOP candidate for Governor apparently selectively investigated, or not, bona fide complaints filed by citizens against banks too big to fail.  Possibly, Wells Fargo could have lined his pockets in some fashion.  That has yet to be determined.

The bastard and his office, no matter what, failed to respond to the complaint originally snail mailed several years ago.  This material, figuratively targeting Wells Fargo and the governor 'wannabe' now Governor, had been posted and can be found by scrolling all the way down and clicking on the links well below.  ... Governor? Wells Fargo bribe you to look the other way?

Will continue to do all I can to publicly expose this to all, both in this publication and elsewhere.  Have done precisely that with the following email sent to Matt Turner, Matt Turner Video Services, Marble Falls, TX.  A copy of it was also sent to Wells Fargo officer Amanda Wright.  She has, indeed, been promoted  branch manager. Reverse Darwinism.  Survival of the unfittest.

This young woman has indeed been rewarded by the Wells Fargo corporate management suite for engaging in criminal deceptive trade practices and her undying loyalty to her corporate masters. The process to update those already informed of this fiasco has finally been completed. This latest material can be found by clicking onWells Fargo Deceptive Trade Practices Salvo 240, 2-8-19.

The name of this publication was changed some fifteen years ago from The Llano Ledger to Liberty In Peril.  The reason?  Simple.  Cowardly failure of this community to stand up to tyranny that has only exponentially worsened the last decade and a half.  Clearly, demonstrated as well by the cowardly failure of businesses to financially support this publication.  Either through advertising or other financial support.  Too afraid doing so would enrage the bastards who run and own this hellhole County.

-- Despite the fact these businesses were, and are, being egregiously f--ked by these very same bastards. Tough, isn't it?  Impossible to entertain any sympathy for cowardice, however.  Especially in view of the fact this writer has placed himself in great jeopardy taking on these corrupt, abusive, inept criminal bastards. Alone.

Exactly, why you see no investigative material highly critical of these sons of bitches in other local rags.  Sadly, cowardly, all advertising income immediately dries up.  Consequently, the bastards continue their criminal chicanery with impunity.  On a rampage.  Thus, you get what you truly deserve.  Always.  Precisely, why this earlier name change to Liberty In Peril remains appropriate.  -- Despite the fact this writer has not yet left the area.  Ten years after originally intending to do so.  Thirty years in this goddamned godforsaken hellhole.

This writer, then and now, remains primarily interested in state, federal, and international issues.  Another reason for this publication name change.  Despite the fact I stupidly cluelessly remain here, local issues must be addressed.  Can't be ignored.  That's where you come in dear readers.  Have the courage to inform this writer of local abuse, corruption, ineptness you are aware of, have personally experienced.

... Information these criminal bastards do all they can to conceal, cover up.  Otherwise, how can they effectively sustain the charade and intended result? Loot confiscation through a boot heel on the throat of the citizenry.

The only way, short of an unwanted dreaded second American revolution, to force badly-needed change is to expose all this to the light of day.  These bastards are beginning to understand they have a problem.  No question, the growing rage of those they've abused, looted, egregiously f--ked.  It's time to stand up.  Expose this corruption to glaring sunlight.  Otherwise, as fools, cowards, you will remain under their thumb.  From the loftiest business owner to those on the bottom of the food chain.  Wake up.  Grow a pair.

Still don't think that likely to happen.  After all, you're bought and paid for.  Owned. Not only by your government masters, but their masters.  The corporate management suite.  Your employers.  Think not? Wake up.   You're human chattel.  Corporate-owned, bought and paid for.  Precisely, why you cowardly, compliantly, literally bare your asses for corporate inspection by the company doctor.  Willingly, compliantly, cowardly piss in a cup under employer supervision.  To sit in front of a keyboard or stock shelves all day.  You have no control of your lives.  You're owned.  Forget?  For a measly salary, no job security, reduced to no benefits.  At a time of record corporate profits and cash reserves.

Then, you gallingly complain about the oppression as you tolerate egregious theft of your labor. Not only by your corporate masters, but their bought and paid for government lackeys.  Too cowardly to stand up, allow disclosure of your identity when you rightfully complain to this publication of being mercilessly f--ked. Some of you falsely arrested, criminally assaulted, bogusly fined for 'offenses' you did not commit.  To line County coffers.  Keep the peasants in line and under control.  A fascist police-state. Nazi America.

Again, yet another reason why this publication is called Liberty In Peril.  Most galling? Nothing changes if you fail to step up and challenge corrupt, abusive, inept authority.  Too afraid, cowardly compliant to let the bastards know who you are.  Did it ever occur to the cowards out there if the identity of the accuser is kept under wraps the bastards will falsely claim it's all made up by this publication?  Thus, conveniently killing all credibility. Wake up.

Cowardice is unbecoming, unworthy of our formerly great country.  Insult to injury?  There are the hopelessly deranged who believe the chicanery reported here to be manufactured anyway.  No matter the effort.  No matter the research.  No matter the proof.  Wake up.  This writer cannot do it alone.  Snowball's chance in hell.  Then again, cowardice, delusion is always amply, justly rewarded.  Always. You continue to 'enjoy' the very best government money can buy.  Literally.
