(person seized when he yields to officer's show of authority). Daly's statements to Byler in response to the officer's questions and the evidence found in the car were the fruits of this unlawful detention.

The order suppressing evidence is affirmed.

END OF DOCUMENT"

Readers should clearly understand the significance of the document just posted. Not only was the Fourth Amendment reaffirmed, the Appeals Court clearly found that NET "Officer" Robert Byler lied under oath. Nonetheless, District Attorney Sam "The Sham" Oatman has not prosecuted Byler, nor has he apparently criminally investigated him.

Why? Clearly, Ole' Sam "protects" his own. ... Just as he did in the case of former NET Co-Commander Brent Nichols, -- and many others. Justice? What the hell's that, right, Counselor? The stench of kangaroo justice grows increasingly putrid in this corrupt and abusive hellhole of a County.

Credit, again, has to be given to County Judge J.P. Dodgen and his order suppressing illegally and unconstitutionally obtained evidence by a corrupt and abusive lying NET "officer". ... Didn't think you had it in you, J.P..... ... Course it doesn't make up for all the other crap.... ... Then again, it's clearly a step in the right direction, no? -- Particularly pleasing, especially, to finally have something positive to say about your performance as a public official. All joking aside, credit must be given when deserved.

Re: Open Records Request of February 22, 2001

Dear Mr. Chorney:

This letter will acknowledge receipt of your written Open Records Act request of February 22, 2001 requesting additional time to inspect cellular phone records and employee expense reports.

These documents will be available for your inspection in the administrative offices of Llano Memorial Hospital, 200 W. Ollie Street, Llano, Texas on Thursday, March 22, 2001 during the hours of 2 o'clock p.m. and 3 o'clock p.m.

As to your request for all documents, correspondence, e-mails, notes, and/or telephone logs related to the "detailed FTE Process" completed by Mike Oatman as described in Section III of Llano Bay Health Care 501C(3) Confidential Committee Minutes dated November 13, 2000 has never been delivered to the Board of Directors.

During this time, both the Llano County Hospital Authority Board of Directors and the Llano Bay Health Care Board of Directors are meeting together. This is anticipated to continue.

Very truly yours,

Jerry Durr
Administrator/CEO

[Publisher's Note: Think the Administrator's assertions regarding the existence of FTE Process documents is credible? With a disinterested Attorney General, District Attorney and County Attorney, and with no funds to sue for Public Information Act violations and stonewalling, we'll never know, will we? Notice the Administrator is stringing out open records requests to over a month? -- And allowing only one hour of access at a time? ... Despite the fact the records were pulled months ago, and the Executive Secretary doesn't even remain in the room during the review? T.C.]

Continuing coverage of the Mirelez raid, Fabian Mirelez, 21, and his girlfriend were asleep in the third residence located at 690 Midland Drive. At approximately 7AM, February 15, 2001, NET goons, not in uniform and failing to identify themselves, kicked in the door and hauled Fabian out the residence and into the rain barefoot, clad in his underwear.

Finally realizing a young woman was also present in the bedroom, NET thugs cuffed her and made a phone call in an effort to confirm her identity. Unlike Fabian, she was not arrested nor roughed up. The residence, however, was indeed ransacked, -- thoroughly trashed.

Although not reported by local media, a fourth Mirelez domicile was also raided at 712 Ridgeway, Kingsland. -- The home of Jorge and Elena Mirelez Limon, 26, and their children. Elena is the daughter of Evaristo and Maria Mirelez and the sister of Fabian, Adam, and Ismael.

The raid at the Ridgeway residence, however, was conducted differently than the ones on Midland Drive. At approximately 7 AM, February 15, 2001, Jorge was in the living room when he heard a single knock on the unlocked front door. The door was then immediately opened. No verbal identification was made by two raiding "officers", one in uniform, -- either before or after entering the residence.

A heavily-armed non-uniformed goon pointed a weapon at Jorge's head and ordered him seated on the couch. Both thugs were only interested in Elena, however, and asked him where she was. He informed "officers" she was in fact in the bedroom.

Elena has strongly asserted NET Sergeant Brent Nichols entered her bedroom, ordered her out of bed, and refused to allow her to dress in privacy. No female officer was indeed present during the raid. The uniformed officer present in the residence, however, was an unidentified male Llano County Deputy. Although Llano County Deputy Aimee Overstreet later transported all six Mirelez prisoners to jail, she was NOT present during Elena's arrest.

Although no systematic search of the Ridgeway address was conducted, NET Sergeant Brent Nichols looked carefully into Elena's bedroom closet, as well as through her personal belongings in the bedroom. No search or arrest warrants were provided by this NET thug or his compadre, the Sheriff's Deputy. No drug dogs were used either at the Ridgeway or Midland Drive locations.

Interestingly, the Ridgeway residence was NOT trashed or ransacked as were the other three on Midland Drive. Nor was anything taken or looted, -- as had occurred during the Midland Drive raid. ... Yes, looted. There were personal belongings taken at Midland Drive not listed on the Inventory Control Form. -- More on this after access is provided by NET to documents sought in the Open Records Request of February 28, 2001.

All six Mirelez family members were publicly paraded at the 690 Midland Drive address, however, in full view of neighbors and boarding LISD school buses. The elder Mirelez has also repeatedly asserted NET goons "high-fived" one another after arrested family members were assembled. ... Think they also "high-fived" each other after NET thug Robert Byler was found to have lied like hell during sworn testimony by the Texas Court of Appeals in an opinion dated December 21, 2000, just posted on this website? -- Or after NET lost cases when former Co-Commander Brent Nichols essentially took the Fifth while on the stand?

The six Mirelez family members are direct blood relatives, -- a mother, father, and their four adult children. ... Two spouses and a girlfriend, however, were not charged. Interesting, isn't it?

The elder Mirelez claims no family members have been appointed legal counsel by the court. Not one. Lacking funds for representation, indigent citizens are apparently routinely denied court-appointed attorneys until the very last minute, ensuring defendants have insufficient time to adequately prepare for trial.

"Prosecutors", Sheriff's Department "officers", and NET thugs, heavily depend upon the lack of legal representation to force suspects, whether guilty or innocent, to cop pleas. ... Right, Sam? Cheryll? Nathan? Dwight?

Again, readers are cautioned this series of articles is NOT an investigation of the guilt or innocence of Mirelez family members. Rather, it is an expose of abusive "prosecutors", Sheriff's Department "officers", and NET thugs.

There is much more to this story, and it will continue to be posted in the next several editions. ... None of it flattering to an abusive corrupt Nazi police agency known as the 33rd Judicial District Narcotics Enforcement Team, --nor to the District Attorney. ... Again, Sam, how do you sleep nights?

As strongly asserted in Special Edition V65, the clock is indeed ticking... The combined visitor count of The Llano Ledger and Llano Ledger 2 stands in excess of 80,700, -- another excellent week and true testament to the shameless willingness of the readership to "steal" this writer's labor. Certainly, you ought to be proud of yourselves. Nothing quite like "character", is there? Readers are reminded this writer receives no renumeration from the banner and pop-up advertising. They only pay for the website itself. There is no personal compensation, nor are their desperately needed funds for investigative expenses. Non-profit and outrageously unfunded by the readership it serves due to greed, gut-wrenching fear, and the continuing relentless intimidation of corrupt and abusive Llano County officials, this publication as always remains beholden to NO ONE.
