... Hey, Sheriff? Is it true Llano County Attorney Becky Lange has advised you to stay out of the "Berardi Property Rights Denial-Damage To Pace Arrow-Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764" fiasco? That right, Bill? Isn't that obstruction of justice? Also true your deputies have advised the Bolens to accept the status quo and not force the no-trespassing issue with Greene? If so, isn't that also obstruction and official oppression? When will you do your job, Bill? As an elected official, you answer to the public, forget? -- No honor? ... No honor at all? If the foregoing allegations are indeed true, didn't you swear an oath to uphold the law and Constitution? Why aren't you doing so? No guts?

Your deputy has been accused of abusing authority. What action have you taken other than ignore the complaint? Why aren't both Rodriguez and the County Attorney under criminal investigation? The County Attorney appears to be obstructing justice, accepting the word of Greene in lieu of two surveyor companies who strongly assert otherwise. Both the County Attorney and District Attorney have ignored complaints. Par for the course in Llano County, isn't it? Failed to do their jobs. No surprise there, right, Bill? Both receiving 'special consideration' up to and/or including a bribe from Greene? Regardless, clearly, no justice in Nazi Llano County. Bottom line? Why are you still sitting on this information? What are you hiding, Sheriff? What is the identity of the officers who killed Wise? Too gutless to release this information to the public that pays your salary and that of your goons? Reportedly, there were three officers involved in the shooting. Who the hell are they?

When will the goddamned 'law' 'enforcement' community finally stop making excuses for engaging in outrageous criminal activity including blatant murder, violent assault, sexual assault, theft, drug trafficking, etc.? List can go on and on. Protecting its own no matter what it does or doesn't do? Convenient, isn't it, Sheriff? Equally pointedly, why hasn't Llano County Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764 been held criminally accountable for egregious abuse of power involving denial of property rights to a Kingsland property owner? To say nothing of consequent resultant physical damage done to a motor home on that property. Why are you protecting this clueless son of a bitch, Sheriff?

Why hasn't he been prosecuted for official oppression? Where is financial compensation for the damage this jackbooted piece of human excrement is responsible for? Ferociously pointedly, why are the District Attorney and the County Attorney continuing to protect this jackbooted piece of shit? He and others like him present an exigent threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties.

Equally to the point, why are your jackbooted pieces of human excrement refusing to enforce Berardi's property rights? Your goons have failed to take action against Theresa Ahrens when she tore down a no trespassing sign and barrier on Berardi's property. Have you, your goons, and/or Madam County Attorney been bribed by Johnny Greene?

Ahrens frequently drives all the way through Berardi's property. Coup de grace? When Berardi complained to Llano County Deputy Idle about the trespassing, the officer's response was insane. Said the Sheriff told him to tell Berardi since Ahrens believes she owns his property she can't be charged with trespassing. Perfect Catch-22, right, Sheriff? You're not fit for office, Bill. Bribed by Johnny Greene?

Why is Theresa Ahrens allowed by your goons to dictate what vehicles can and cannot be parked on Berardi's property? Ahrens claims she has proof the property belongs to her where the vehicle was parked. Has failed to produce it. Surveyors say otherwise. Back up Berardi. Yet, your jackbooted bastards refuse to enforce Berardi's property rights. Why? Somebody lining somebody's pockets, Sheriff?

Ms. Ahrens micro-mini portable 'house' is parked on an unused unmarked Llano County road. Imagine that. Madam County Attorney well-aware. Has done nothing. Shit squat. Egregiously ignored her oath of office. Someone bribing you, Becky? Lining your pockets, Counselor? Paying you not to sell the unused unmarked County road to Berardi? Doesn't the County want and need the sale money, to say nothing of the resultant tax income?

No question, County and State agencies remain determinedly, concertedly, achingly incapable of criminal investigation of their own. How is it two surveyor companies, the Appraisal District, the Tax Office, the Precinct 3 Commissioner, even the goddamned Sheriff himself now states Kingsland resident James Berardi owns the lots in contention all these months?

Yet, you ludicrously assert that's not the County's legal position. It's not? Why not? You claim you're not a real estate expert. Rather than accept the advice of two surveyor companies, the Precinct 3 Commissioner, the Appraisal District, the Tax Office, and even the Sheriff himself, you've inexplicably chosen to follow the advice of property owner Johnny Greene, -- who conveniently happens to be reportedly in the oil industry.

Question to be asked. Could you have received any 'consideration' in return, -- up to and including a bribe? Only way to know for sure is for the District Attorney to conduct a criminal investigation. Apparently, there has been none. If not, why not?

Equally pointedly, why hasn't Llano County Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764 been held criminally accountable for egregious abuse of power involving denial of property rights to this Kingsland property owner? To say nothing of consequent resultant physical damage done to a motor home on that property.

Our achingly useless, worthless, gutless Sheriff has ignored an email vis a vis the damage this jackbooted thug is responsible for. Interestingly, his fellow officers believe him to be an idiot. Yet, the Sheriff continued to defend this piece of human excrement until he realized this entire fiasco would not be swept under the carpet.

Rodriguez is indeed an idiot. Would you believe this piece of crap ordered the motor home to be moved on to an unmarked unused Llano County road? That motor home has indeed been moved back to where it was parked before Rodriguez forced it to be moved. Why hasn't the County paid for the cost of moving it back? To say nothing of the damage.

Equally pointedly, why is it the County has allowed Theresa Ahrens to park and live in her tiny cottage on that very same road? Why hasn't she been evicted by the County? Why was she assessed taxes on an adjacent improvement she doesn't own?

Why is it, Counselor, Johnny Greene is paying for the attorney retained by Ms. Ahrens? Is Greene attempting to make this all go away by bribery? Greene has also informed Berardi he is going to sue. For what? Has Greene lost his mind?

What about Wells who installed a $4500 septic system on a lot turns out he does not own as a result of Greene, an outrageously inept County, to say nothing of the Llano County Attorney who remains equally determinedly clueless?

How about Bolen who hasn't a pot to piss in, but was nonetheless f--ked over by Greene to say nothing of an egregiously inept County, to say nothing of you and your goddamned equally incompetent office?

None of this is going away, Counselor, -- any time soon. Will not be swept under the carpet as all the other crap going on in this hell hole County. Not a chance. It's time the public be fully informed. -- Know what we're dealing with here and how 'law' 'enforcement' operates in this hell hole County. If these jackbooted bastards are not reined in, the life lost could be many others courtesy of a law enforcement system that is no longer accountable to anyone. ... Right, Sheriff? TL? "Sonny Boy?" Madam County Attorney?

The Sheriff seems to have no clue the people who pay him and his goons are entitled to know whom is killing whom and why. This shit always seems to be swept under the carpet. Ignored. The attitude of these jackbooted sons of bitches is trust us. They can't be. They've lied too many times. Refuse to be accountable to anyone. We live in a goddamned fascist police-state where law enforcement does as it pleases. Usually, with impunity. This has to change.

The Texas Rangers have become rubber stamp to atrocities committed by law enforcement. This also has to change. No one is holding law enforcement accountable any longer. No one. No one in state or federal government. This is precisely why Ferguson triggered such an uproar. There was no justice there. None here. None anywhere. Officers are abusive, corrupt, inept.

Falsely ticket and arrest the innocent to line County coffers. Court fees charged continue to be horrendous. -- Aren't taxpayers already looted to pay these costs? Aren't you not only double f--king those falsely accused, but taxpayers also hellaciously looted to pay the very same costs? Yet, the criminal bastards in power in Llano continue to pile on the fees. This is nothing more than goddamned bullshit. This money finds its way into the pockets of the corrupt, abusive bastards who falsely believe they run and own this hell hole.

Would you believe the last time the Sheriff's Office happened to be 'audited' during the Garrett regime, reportedly, auditors couldn't figure out what went where and why? Yet, surprise, surprise. Nothing was done. There has to be transparency. There is none. Why would these thieving bastards want any? ... Right, Sheriff? TL? How else could they so easily steal and loot with virtual impunity? Worse, this reinforces jackbooted power in this goddamned, godforsaken hell hole County.

The public has a right to know the histories of the Sheriff's goons. Clearly, the Sheriff doesn't think so. That is, where they came from. Why they left where they were. What is happening here is the Sheriff is using 'personnel matters' as a convenient excuse to deny the public access to the history of outrageously corrupt, abusive, inept officers who are no more than criminals themselves.

He's protecting his outrageously corrupt, abusive, inept jackbooted bastards. Worse, the standards imposed by sheriff's offices statewide with the exception of metropolitan counties are well below those of DPS and city police departments. Why? So the corruption, abuse, ineptness, and outright stealing can continue unabated? This has to change. ... Can't have that, can we? Sheriff? TL?

The public should understand Llano County authorities have it all sewn up. Did you know the Texas Attorney General does not have the authority to investigate and prosecute County authorities on his own? The District Attorney has to call for an investigation by the Texas Rangers. Then, the State can prosecute if it so chooses.

Consequently? Guess what? Nothing will happen. Nothing ever does. The goddamned corruption continues unabated until you, the public, pressure authorities. Precisely, why we all enjoy the 'best' government money can buy. Literally. Without question, the corrupt, abusive, inept sons of bitches are all bought and paid for. Firmly clamped to the taxpayer tit. Dependent on money looted from innocent citizens caught in their web. Phony fines and court costs cleverly designed to f--k the innocent and enrich the pieces of shit who falsely believe they run and own Llano County. Right, Sheriff? TL? "Sonny Boy?" Interestingly, the former Sheriff and District Attorney were reportedly forced to retire after an outrageous scandal involving a drunk driving police officer from out of town. Including special treatment of the drunken son of a bitch that no other citizen caught doing the same would have been afforded. An honest, honorable Llano County Deputy suffered the consequences. Forget? Great officers do not last in this hell hole County. ... Right, Sheriff? TL? "Sonny Boy?" Madam County Attorney?

With all ongoing abuse in this goddamned County, one thing remains for damned sure. We're just getting started, Sheriff. You will continue to be exposed for whom and what you and your corrupt, abusive, inept jackbooted bastards have become, truly are, not what you phonies purport to be, that is, how you continue to f--k over a public you've falsely sworn to protect and defend. -- Exposure, the only way short of an unwanted dreaded revolution to force desperately needed change in a goddamned fascist police-state. While the business and church communities stood tall during the recent Kingsland flood catastrophe, there was one glaring exception. On 10-17-18, the Antlers Coffee Shop closed due to storm-related failure of the Kingsland water system. Patrons, however, are routinely allowed to get online outside even when the shop is closed.

A long-term coffee shop customer entered the hotel lobby to ask the desk clerk whether wifi was still up and running after the catastrophe. She said it was and told the patron he could get online inside the closed shop. She then asked him to have another regular customer who had just arrived outside to come in and get out of the cold as well.

Antlers co-proprietor Rick apparently quickly got wind of both customers, made quite a jackass of himself emulating the petulant narcissist currently occupying the Oval Office. Aggressive stupidity at a time the Kingsland business community is indeed suffering, can least afford it. Further proof positive of the old adage 'can fix ignorant, can't fix stupid.'

Why would, why should both customers put up with this? Think this hasn't happened to others?

Highly reminiscent of our outrageously bought and paid for judiciary, Llano County prosecutors, Sheriff Bill Blackburn and his criminal SS jackbooted bastards in black who continue to egregiously disgrace themselves and the badge, do as they please regardless of the law and Constitution, carefully consider the following. Llano County DA "Sonny Boy" is in the news. Received an award. The DailyTrib reports:

"The Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission recognized District Attorney Wiley “Sonny” McAfee on August 22 for his efforts in prosecuting natural and cultural resource violations as well as environmental crimes. The commission named the 33rd and 424th district attorney the 2019 Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Prosecutor of the Year. McAfee serves Burnet, Llano, Blanco, and San Saba counties. Elected in November 2012 and taking office on January 1, 2013, he has been instrumental in a number of high-profile cases involving Texas game wardens and Texas State Park police officers."

The District Attorney has ignored a complaint filed earlier by this publication regarding special treatment accorded Texas oil man Johnny Greene by the Llano County Attorney and Sheriff vis a vis a property dispute involving a local banker, three other local property owners with homes encroaching on land they don't own, one of which is on an unused Llano County road. To say nothing of damage to a Pace Arrow motorhome on that property. All a result of egregious abuse of authority by Llano County Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764. The circumstances of this fiasco can be found above in each and every edition of this publication since this happened two and a half years ago. The Sheriff, the County Attorney, and the District Attorney have all determinedly, concertedly ignored this ongoing, unresolved fiasco raising one ferociously pointed question. How much were they bribed?

The following is a particularly egregious example of man's inhumanity to his fellow man or woman. Seatbelts on. NPR reports:

"Police have arrested a San Francisco art gallery owner who was caught on video spraying a homeless woman with a water hose. Collier Gwin, 71, is facing a charge of misdemeanor battery after his Wednesday arrest. In a tweet, San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins said that Gwin intentionally and unlawfully sprayed water on a homeless woman, who has not been publicly identified, sitting on a sidewalk outside his gallery on Jan. 9."

Is this how the son of a bitch gets his cookies off?

"Jenkins' office said it issued an arrest warrant for Gwin after reviewing evidence from an investigation conducted by the San Francisco Police Department. He was subsequently booked at a county jail. The case remains an open investigation, the San Francisco Police Department said in a statement. "The alleged battery of an unhoused member of our community is completely unacceptable. Mr. Gwin will face appropriate consequences for his actions," Jenkins said on Twitter."

Needs to. Egregious, unacceptable, illegal behavior must be prosecuted to discourage its repetition.

"In the Jan. 9 video captured of the incident by a nearby store owner, Gwin — the owner of Foster Gwin Gallery in downtown San Francisco — is shown in the frame repeatedly shouting "Move!" at the woman, who is shown sitting on the ground trying to block the water with her hands as she spoke."

What a son of a bitch. -- Does the Nazi Right in this country perversely consider this 'Christian charity?'

"The woman attempted to speak to Gwin, but it is unclear what she said to him. Gwin stopped spraying the water to point down the street saying to the woman "Hey, just move! Move. Move. Move. OK, are you going to move?" The San Francisco Street Crisis Response Team, a city-run program designed to help homeless people experiencing mental health and substance use crises, responded to the scene and helped the woman who was sprayed, authorities said."

The following is equally appalling:

"After the video was shared across social media, the front window at Gwin's gallery was shattered, according to The Los Angeles Times. In a statement on Twitter, District Attorney Jenkins condemned the vandalism done to Gwin's gallery. "The vandalism at Foster Gwin gallery is also completely unacceptable and must stop — two wrongs do not make a right," she said."

No question. The perpetrator needs to be found and prosecuted.

"Representatives for Gwin did not immediately respond to NPR's request for comment on the incident. In an interview before his arrest with San Francisco TV station ABC7, Gwin apologized for his actions, saying he is "deeply apologetic." "I completely broke. I am not equipped or trained to deal with a city-wide problem like [homelessness] ... I have the video to remind me that this is a large cross [to] bear," Gwin told ABC7."

... Think there might be some shred of hope for this guy, -- after all?

"If convicted, Gwin could face up to six months in jail and a $2,000 fine, authorities said."

The following is an egregious abrogation of justice. In follow-up to a case covered earlier here and elsewhere, NPR reports:

"Caron Nazario, an Army lieutenant who was held at gunpoint and pepper-sprayed by Virginia police during a 2020 traffic stop, was awarded $3,685 in damages Tuesday."

What a goddamned slap in the face by a racist jury that protected and coddled racist law enforcement.

"Nazario, who is Black and Latino, sued two officers of the Windsor Police Department in April 2021. The federal lawsuit accused the officers of assault and racial profiling. Nazario sought $1 million in damages. On Tuesday, the jury awarded Nazario $1,000 in punitive damages after finding that Officer Daniel Crocker conducted an illegal search under state law, and $2,685 in compensatory damages after finding that Officer Joseph Gutierrez, who was fired after the incident, assaulted Nazario. Additionally, the jury found that Crocker violated Nazario's Fourth Amendment right to refuse a search, but that he did so without malice, and decided not to grant Nazario any damages for that offense. It also found neither of the officers guilty of falsely imprisoning Nazario."

Readers will recall:

"Nazario was behind the wheel of his newly purchased Chevy Tahoe, according to the lawsuit, when he was pulled over by police in Windsor, Va., in December 2020. In a report filed on the night of the incident, Gutierrez said they were treating it as a "high risk traffic stop" because Nazario's vehicle had no license plate displayed, he took a long time to stop and he had "extremely dark" window tints."

Lying jackbooted bastards in blue. Best law enforcement has to offer? Two abusive, racist bastards protected and coddled by a racist jury.

"Nazario's lawyer said the car had temporary plates taped to the rear and side windows and he was simply looking for a well-lit place to pull over. Nazario was handcuffed and interrogated while waiting for paramedics to treat his eyes after being pepper-sprayed, but he was not arrested, according to his lawsuit. The incident was captured on body cameras and Nazario's cellphone."

Yet, no justice. None.

The following is a problem. CBS News reports:

"Police departments in New York and Los Angeles – the nation's two largest agencies – top the list of the approximately 7,000 police forces that don't report hate crimes to the federal government, according to a Department of Justice report released Wednesday."

How about that? Comes as no surprise, however. None at all.

"The lack of reporting has given an "incomplete picture" of hate crimes in the country, the U.S. associate attorney general said this week."

Sadly, could it be most convenient for law enforcement since racism, abuse of authority, and unwarranted violence run rampant in policing?

"In Dec. 2022, the FBI released a report showing there were 7,262 hate crime incidents and 9,024 victims in 2021. Much of the violence has targeted the Black community – almost 60% of the reported bias crimes – while other reports include crimes against people based on their sexual orientation, gender and religion. But many police forces are not reporting hate crimes to the National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS). "The problem is especially acute for hate crimes because many agencies that are NIBRS-compliant are not submitting hate crime data. As a result, the 2021 Hate Crime Statistics released late last year provided an incomplete picture of hate crime trends in this country," said Associate Attorney General Vanita Gupta in remarks at the U.S. Conference of Mayors on Wednesday."

... Again, law enforcement protecting its sorry ass since it consistently perpetrates hate crimes itself during the course of its duties?

"In May 2021, President Biden signed the COVID-19 Hate Crimes Act and Jabara-Heyer NO HATE Act into law. He directed the Justice Department to increase resources and coordination to combat hate crimes and incidents, according to a DOJ memo. But experts say the data is insufficient and there needs to be a more accurate tally of hate crimes in the U.S. "We don't know how many potential victims there are," said Ernesto Lopez, a research specialist who studies crime trends at the Council on Criminal Justice, a think-tank based in Washington D.C. Lopez said accurate and consistent information is incredibly important to ensure good policing."

How is good policing possible when so much of law enforcement is itself perpetrating hate crimes and remains hopelessly abusive?

"Huge chunks of police data have been missing since the FBI switched its crime reporting software to the NIBRS database on Jan. 1, 2021. This software uses an incident-based report instead of a summary, allowing police to fully record details around violent crimes, including hate crimes. This method allows police to ask more detailed questions and provide more accurate information to the federal government, which in turn can allocate more resources, training, and funding to regions struggling with hate crimes."

Since much of the police community is corrupt, abusive, and racist, could it be police have little incentive to cooperate?

"But the number of police agencies reporting hate crimes dropped from 15,138 to 11,834 in 2021, data shows. Even the reported incidents can sometimes be misleading, experts say. "Folks want to know quickly if this is a hate crime– but it's not always that clear cut," said Joshua Skule, president of the consultant firm Bow Wave LLC, and former FBI Executive Assistant Director for Intelligence. A hate crime is defined as a crime motivated by prejudice on the basis of someone's race, religion, gender or identity, Skule said, but a victim could sometimes just be a target of opportunity. The challenge for law enforcement, he said, is to determine the underlying motivation of the crime and then report that accurately. Managing the data correctly allows law enforcement and legislators to divert resources to communities that need the most assistance."

The above makes the assumption that law enforcement is not outrageously corrupt, abusive, and murderous.

"Law enforcement leaders are trying to get a handle on reporting," Skule said. "Then they can help the communities that are being targeted, but aggregating that data has been elusive."

Why should that be? Could it be a problem of corruption, abuse, and needless violence within law enforcement?

Carefully, consider the following:

"Federal authorities have struggled with getting local police agencies to start inputting their information into the national database. Some police departments not sharing information have cited lack of funding, training and fear that there will be a public perception that crime has significantly increased with the switch, the report said. Approximately $120 million was awarded to local law enforcement agencies and state UCR programs to implement the new program, according to the report. Among the 40 largest agencies funded, 28 successfully transitioned to the new software, including Chicago, Dallas, Boston, Seattle, and Detroit, the report said."

The above remains inexplicable. Aren't these reporting requirements federal law? If not, why not? If they are law, why aren't departments who fail to report prosecuted?

Sadly, the following sounds like bullshit. No more than refusal to cooperate with federal authorities:

"Even though federal authorities have invested millions of dollars in support, training, and technical assistance to agencies, the LAPD said it would take about two more years to switch over to the new system, the report said."

In follow-up to a case covered earlier here and elsewhere, The Washington Post reports:

"A woman from Costa Rica who sued a former Fairfax County police chief and three former officers, alleging that they conspired with a sex-trafficking ring in Northern Virginia, was unable to convince a jury to support her claims. Testifying under the pseudonym “Jane Doe,” the woman said she was coerced into performing sex acts by a madam named Hazel Sanchez, who called herself “Andrea Fairfax” in online ads and boasted of having police “protectors.” Doe alleged that now former Fairfax County police chief Edwin C. Roessler, captain James Baumstark and officers Michael O. Barbazette and Jason J. Mardocco violated federal law by obstructing efforts to investigate and prosecute her traffickers. In explosive testimony in a civil trial in Alexandria, Va., Doe said she recognized all four men as clients of other women in the Sanchez ring. But a federal jury found Friday that none of the officers interfered with the enforcement of the Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act, as Doe alleged in seeking monetary damages. The jury found that Doe was not a trafficking victim."

How about that? Law enforcement protected and coddled. Amusingly, even the woman's attorney did not appear upset about it:

"In a statement after the verdict, Doe’s attorney, Victor M. Glasberg, said: “The jury found she had not been trafficked, as a result of which she was not entitled to the protective provisions of the Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act, which was the basis of the lawsuit. End of story.”

Were you bought and paid for, Counselor?

"Roessler, the former police chief, and Baumstark, who retired from the Fairfax County Police Department and is now deputy police chief in Asheville, N.C., said the claims against them were “preposterous” and denied knowing any of the women in the case. Barbazette and Mardocco conceded that they met with Sanchez as clients, but both denied Doe’s claims and said they had never met her."

No problem with that? Clients of the madam. LOL.

"After the verdict, lawyers for all four former Fairfax County officers declined to comment."

What could they say? LOL.

"None of the officers named in Doe’s lawsuit has been charged with a crime. The FBI, which investigated the sex trafficking ring, reviewed allegations involving police officers and referred them to the Fairfax County Police Department, according to court testimony. An internal affairs investigator for the Fairfax County Police Department testified that neither Baumstark nor Roessler was mentioned in the FBI’s files when he received the case. Phone numbers for Barbazette and Mardocco were found among Sanchez’s approximately 10,000 contacts, the investigator said. Glasberg said both officers retired with pensions while they were under investigation. “She told me she would kill my son,” Doe said, describing Sanchez’s coercion tactics. The four officers let down all the women Sanchez trafficked, Doe alleged. “They didn’t have to protect the Hazel ring,” she said. Sanchez was sentenced to 2½ years in federal prison after admitting in 2019 that she managed “unlawful prostitution activity” for five women, including Doe, who alleged Sanchez trafficked her from 2010 to 2015."

Report goes on and on. Another black eye for law enforcement. Worse? No justice. No prosecution. Protected and coddled.

"Police are investigating after a video appeared to show an Ohio police officer repeatedly hitting a woman in the head during a confrontation at a McDonald's. The actions of two officers involved in the incident, identified by police as Sergeant Todd Stanley and Officer Tim Zellers, are under investigation, Butler Township Police Chief John Porter said at a press conference. But an attorney for Latinka Hancock, the woman in the video, said that he doubts the officers will face serious consequences."

Why is that, Counselor? This department have a well-earned reputation for being corrupt and abusive?

"At a separate press conference Wednesday, Hancock's civil attorney, Michael Wright, said his client suffered a closed head injury, busted lip, loose teeth and a back injury during an attempted arrest by the two officers on Jan. 15 which was filmed by a bystander. Stanley punched Hancock while Zellers allegedly pointed a taser at her head, Wright said. Hancock has been charged with resisting arrest and failure to identify, police said. She was also given citations for driving with an open container of alcohol and driving under suspension, according to police. Hancock's criminal attorney, Ben Swift, told ABC News that Hancock had her arraignment Wednesday morning. Swift said he plans to file motions on the case because he does not believe the charges are valid. "It's going to be our objective to get the charges dismissed," Swift said. Stanley is currently on paid administrative leave, Porter said."

Paid vacation time. How about that? Handsomely rewarded for being a goddamned jackass. Sadly, the American Way. ... Right, Sheriff?

"I'm not going to be George Floyd," Hancock said, describing what she was thinking during the incident. They're not going to get me on the ground." Wright said an investigation of the officers' conduct is not enough. He said that if the video never went viral, there would never have been an investigation. "It's going to take one week for them to say that this officer followed their protocol, followed their procedure," said Wright. "We do need somebody independent to investigate this officer and this police department because they can't investigate themselves." Wright later clarified to ABC News that he wants both officers and Butler Township Police Department investigated for this "unnecessary police brutality." Porter said he would release the officers' footage from their body cameras after the investigation concludes. "The officers are given options and until I have all the information, I'm not gonna comment on what is the appropriate response-action to this yet," said Porter at the press conference."

No transparency. No credibility.

"Porter said that officers were trying to de-escalate the situation and all officers are trained in de-escalation."

Think so?

"The incident began when a McDonald's employee called the police on Hancock after she said she ordered a Big Mac with extra cheese, was charged for the extra cheese, but not given the cheese, her attorney said. Hancock said the McDonald's manager told the cook to fix the order; when the cook did, the cook tried to charge Hancock again. Hancock said she refused to pay, but still wanted her hamburger, so the cook said she was trespassing and asked her to leave, she said. Hancock said she left, but wanted to stay to talk to police to tell them what happened and to either get her money back, or get her sandwich. But Porter said that although Hancock initially appeared to be cooperative, she later turned combative. He said she failed to identify herself "after numerous attempts." Porter acknowledged Hancock was hit in the face and the head. He showed some of the body camera footage at the press conference which was reviewed by ABC News."

Hitting someone in the face and head standard police procedure, Chief? Why didn't you release all police video? Something to hide, sir?

"In the body camera footage he showed, Hancock said to the officers, "if you arrest me, I swear you're going to have a problem." She also says in the footage that McDonald's gave her the 30 cents she paid for extra cheese back. The bodycam footage shows the officers attempting to give Hancock a piece of paper for trespassing so she would not be able to return to the McDonalds. Hancock gave the officers her last name, but would not give them her first name. The officers asked Hancock to calm down and said that they would have to arrest her, the footage shows. Zellers can then be seen saying Hancock is under arrest for failure to identify. The footage the police showed from both officers' body cameras did not clearly show Hancock getting hit in the head. The video did show the officer pointing the taser at her head and buzzing it several times before putting her in handcuffs. In the bodycam footage, Hancock can be heard saying "why did you hit my face? I didn't even touch you." Her mouth appears bloody in the footage from Zeller's bodycam. Hancock later gave the officers her first name as they were trying to put her in the police car, the footage shows."

This, how the jackbooted bastards in blue get their cookies off? Drawing blood while inflicting violence on their targets?

"It wasn't over a sandwich," Hancock said at the press conference. "I'm in the video saying I just want to go home at this point. It's not worth it over a sandwich." The president of the Dayton NAACP, Dr. Derrick Ford, criticized the actions of the officer who pointed the taser at Hancock. "Nowhere do I see pointing a taser at someone's head is a part of training," Ford said at the press conference. "Training with tasers is that you are going to go from mid-body down as relates to tasers. You don't point a taser at a female or Black female's head."

Sadly, they do in racist, nazi America. Fascism, nazism, national socialism defined as the pernicious blend of government, business, and religion. 'Justified' by perversion and bastardization of the latter.

"Attempts to contact Stanley and Zellers were unsuccessful and it was not immediately clear if the officers had attorneys who could speak on their behalf. The Fraternal Order of Police of Ohio did not immediately respond to ABC News' request for comment. Wright said that he is asking for the officer who allegedly punched Hancock to be fired, not for his resignation. He said he wants the officer to be terminated, charged and convicted. "To add insult to injury, this happened on Monday. This happened on Martin Luther King Day," said Wright."

"A cousin of Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors died after Los Angeles Police repeatedly tased him in the middle of the street earlier this month, according to police body-camera footage and his family's account. Keenan Anderson, a 31-year-old high school teacher and father, was trying to get help after a traffic collision when he was chased, held down by multiple officers and tased for over 90 seconds as he begged for help. On Jan. 20, Lawyers for Anderson's 5-year-old son announced they have filed a $50 million claim against the city of Los Angeles over the incident. "If you Taser someone with 50,000 watts of electrical energy six times ... is there really any wonder that moments later his heart will begin to flutter?" attorney Carl Douglas said at a news conference, the Associated Press reported. Anderson's death, one of three fatalities stemming from the LAPD's use of force already this year, is sparking fresh calls for police reform in a city that's long been calling for racial justice. "I've been challenging law enforcement for the last 22 years [...], but I've never had someone this close in my family be killed by the police," Cullors told NPR."

In follow-up to yet another egregious case repeatedly covered here and elsewhere, The Washington Post reports:

"The Memphis Police Department fired five officers Friday evening who were involved in an arrest that appears to have led to the death of a 29-year-old Black motorist earlier this month. The five officers — all of whom are Black — were found to have violated department policies pertaining to use of force, duty to render aid and duty to intervene, the department said in a news release. Their ouster comes in advance of the department’s pledged release of video footage depicting the arrest of Tyre Nichols on Jan. 7."

Readers will recall:

"Nichols died on Jan. 10, three days after the officers pulled him over for reckless driving, according to the department. Nichols fled on foot, but was eventually caught and taken into custody. After his arrest, he complained of shortness of breath."

Never, ever, NEVER run from law enforcement. The jackbooted bastards in blue take it as carte blanche to murder on the job. Sadly, how they get their cookies off. ... Right, Sheriff?

"According to his family, Nichols suffered a broken neck and went into cardiac arrest during the confrontation with police. The family released a photo of Nichols in a hospital bed, eyes swollen shut from bruising and nose askew. Memphis saw protests over the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend, with demonstrators demanding the release of video footage of Nichols’s arrest, which took place near one of the city’s overhead police surveillance cameras. Memphis police officers also wear body cameras. A police spokesperson said video would be released next week, after Nichols’s family has had a chance to view it."

Why the delay? Need time to edit it to cover your sorry asses?

"Nichols was a FedEx employee whose hobbies included skateboarding and photography, family members said during this week’s protests. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is investigating his death at the request of the Shelby County’s district attorney. On Wednesday, U.S. Attorney Kevin Ritz said his office, the FBI and the Department of Justice were launching a civil rights investigation into Nichols’s death as well. The Nichols family has retained attorney Ben Crump, whose clients include the family of George Floyd, the Black man whose murder at the hands of Minneapolis police sparked nationwide racial justice protests and demands for police reform in 2020. In a statement released Monday, Crump called for the release of the arrest footage. “Nobody should ever die from a simple traffic stop,” he added. Less than a month after Floyd’s death, in which police officers stood by while Officer Derek Chauvin choked Floyd to death under his knee, the Memphis Police Department adopted a “duty to intervene” policy. It requires that officers who see colleagues “engaged in dangerous or criminal conduct or abuse of a subject shall take reasonable action to intervene.”

Consider the following. Raises the question why hasn't there been change to date? Get this:

"Memphis’s police chief, Cerelyn “C.J.” Davis, joined the department about a year later. She is the city’s first Black, female police chief. In 2020, as chief of police in Durham, N.C., Davis was among the loudest voices for police reform, calling for national standards and accreditation for law enforcement. “The emotions and feelings that we see expressed out on the streets of cities all across the country are felt in a way that are substantiated,” Davis said in an interview with ABC’s Good Morning America. “There have been years and years of systemic racism in law enforcement.”

Is she receiving the support she needs from city officials?

NBC News reports:

"Family members of Tyre Nichols met with officials Monday to view footage of the traffic stop that led to his death, three days after he was hospitalized in critical condition. Five officers involved in the Jan. 7 traffic stop were terminated Friday, following an administrative investigation that found the officers violated several department policies, Memphis Police Chief C.J. Davis said in a statement. The investigation found the officers violations including policies on use of excessive force, duty to intervene and duty to render aid. Memphis police and city officials said they met with Nichols' family Monday morning. Davis said in a statement that they were working with the district attorney’s office to “determine the appropriate time to release video recordings publicly.” "Transparency remains a priority in this incident, and a premature release could adversely impact the criminal investigation and the judicial process," Davis said."

Sadly, that's bullshit. Gives the department time to spin this egregious fiasco to the advantage of the department. That is, intentionally make the department and its policies look as good as possible under the circumstances.

"Lawyers Ben Crump and Antonio Romanucci, who are representing Nichols' family, said in a joint statement that video of the stop will provide "clarity into what led to the loss of this young man, father, and son." "We will continue to demand transparency and accountability in this case, and will not stop until we achieve full justice for Tyre and his family," the attorneys said. Nichols' family scheduled a press conference to follow their viewing of the video of the traffic stop. The police department and mayor's office issued a joint statement last week that said the body camera footage would be released to the public after the internal investigation concluded and the family was able to view it privately."

Called spin.

"Details of what happened between Nichols and the five officers have been scarce."

Intentionally, so. To give the bastards time to create spin favorable to the department.

"Police said in an initial statement following the Jan. 7 stop that Nichols had been pulled over for reckless driving, fled from officers on foot, and a “confrontation” occurred while officers tried to detain Nichols. Nichols complained of having shortness of breath and was taken to the hospital in critical condition. A cause of death has not been released."

Why not? Why no transparency? Especially, in light of the following:

"A photo provided by his stepfather, Rodney Wells, showed Nichols in the hospital with blood on his face and what appeared to be a swollen eye."

Had clearly been beaten, hit in the head.

"Officials identified the officers Friday as Tadarrius Bean, Demetrius Haley, Emmitt Martin III, Desmond Mills Jr. and Justin Smith. NBC News was unable to contact the officers for comment following their termination Friday. In an emailed statement, Memphis Police Association President Lt. Essica Cage-Rosario cited an ongoing criminal investigation into Nichols’ death and declined to comment on the officers’ firing. “The citizens of Memphis, and more importantly, the family of Mr. Nichols deserve to know the complete account of the events leading up to his death and what may have contributed to it,” she said."

Lack of transparency precludes this. Direct opposite. Gives the department time to create favorable spin.

The Associated Press reports:

"Tyre Nichols’ mother says her son was 80 yards (73 meters) from home when Memphis police officers “murdered him” during a violent confrontation that happened during a traffic stop. Nichols’ stepfather, Rodney Wells, told reporters that his stepson had good reason to run from the officers. “Our son ran because he was scared for his life,” Rodney Wells said. “And when you see the video you’ll see why he was scared for his life."

Then, you gallingly complain about the oppression as you tolerate egregious theft of your labor. Not only by your corporate masters, but their bought and paid for government lackeys. Too cowardly to stand up, allow disclosure of your identity when you rightfully complain to this publication of being mercilessly f--ked. Some of you falsely arrested, criminally assaulted, bogusly fined for 'offenses' you did not commit. To line County coffers. Keep the peasants in line and under control. A fascist police-state. Nazi America.

Again, yet another reason why this publication is called Liberty In Peril. Most galling? Nothing changes if you fail to step up and challenge corrupt, abusive, inept authority. Too afraid, cowardly compliant to let the bastards know who you are. Did it ever occur to the cowards out there if the identity of the accuser is kept under wraps the bastards will falsely claim it's all made up by this publication? Thus, conveniently killing all credibility. Wake up.

Cowardice is unbecoming, unworthy of our formerly great country. Insult to injury? There are the hopelessly deranged who believe the chicanery reported here to be manufactured anyway. No matter the effort. No matter the research. No matter the proof. Wake up. This writer cannot do it alone. Snowball's chance in hell. Then again, cowardice, delusion is always amply, justly rewarded. Always. You continue to 'enjoy' the very best government money can buy. Literally.
