Getting online has gotten increasingly difficult and expensive last four months.  Worse, access is outside since most establishments are closed or limited to drive-thru operations.  Lap tops are not designed to be used in such an environment.  Extremely difficult to see the screen.  Time for the readership to step up and provide assistance.  TC 7-24-20

In response to the pandemic, government quickly imposed draconian restrictions making access to public wifi exceptionally difficult.  Consequently, editions of this publication will be briefer and posted as regularly as possible until circumstances change.  TC 3-20-20

Publisher's Note: This publication receives no financial support through advertising.  Although shaken down, looted, and abused by corrupt government, area businesses remain unwilling to stand up.  Locals are too gutless to donate financially, cowardly fearing retribution.  For this publication to survive, national readers need to contribute.  Liberty In Peril is, has been, and will always remain beholden to NO ONE. -- Precisely why there is no financial assistance.  ... From day of launch and certainly a no-brainer to this very day, firmly resolved to walk away first rather than compromise principle. -- To the chagrin of many and delight of few.    T.C. (5-7-13).

For new readers:  Fascism, nazism, national socialism defined as the pernicious blend of government, business, and religion. 'Justified' by perversion and bastardization of the latter.

No matter what, no matter where, this publication will remain up and running.  For it to remain centered here, however, financial and/or material support must be provided.  Status quo, unsustainable.  Time to step up.  Now.

Brother dearest.  ... Been awhile, hasn't it, Bro?  A little antsy?  Wondering when the next shoe is about to fall, that is, when you'll be fully exposed for the thieving son of a bitch you truly are?  Patience.  All in good time, good buddy.  When I'm damned good and ready.  Timing just right.  After all, a son of a bitch who's stolen his father's estate needs to be fully exposed publicly for whom and what he is, don't you think?  Indeed, a public service for your neighbors, professional associates, family, and friends, etc..

Conveniently, forget?  Others need to protect themselves against a fraud who masquerades as both a teacher and a counselor, no?  -- How the hell did you ever pass an MMPI some forty years ago to get hired?  You're not stable.  Have not been.  ... Must have really been pissed off at the old man to rip off an estate, no?  How much did you steal while he was alive and supposedly under your care?

How much did you bribe law enforcement to ignore a complaint I filed with them years before the old man died?  How much did you bribe the prosecutor to ignore a complaint filed with her several years ago?  How much?  Use the old man's money to bribe the bitch?  Her cohorts?  Your law enforcement shysters?  While there may indeed be no justice from a corrupt system, fortunately, I do have a way to publicly expose you for the goddamned thieving son of a bitch you truly are.

... Unlike our grandmother who scrubbed floors on her hands and knees during the Depression for peanuts, only to have what little she had stolen by her son, our uncle, another goddamned thieving son of a bitch just like you.  Remember how, surprise, surprise, there was no life insurance when our grandfather died?  Despite the fact our grandmother gave her thieving bastard son premium money year after goddamned year?  Only, as the thieving son of a bitch he truly was, to have pocketed it.  Again, just like you.

Remember when he booted her out of the house she had bought him when he had had enough of her?  -- Despite the fact he had lied and promised she could stay the rest of her life?  She had to climb two flights of stairs on an ulcerated leg to get to a bathroom he had never built for her at ground level as falsely promised.   Nothing ever happened to the thieving son of a bitch as far as justice was concerned.  Worse, he was never exposed publicly for the thieving son of a bitch he truly was.

Will be different for you, Bro.  While you've bought off authorities, you will be publicly exposed.  In great detail.  In good time.  When I'm damned good and ready.  When exposure will do the maximum figurative damage to your goddamned sordid reputation.  -- Just the truth, brother dearest, however.  Just the truth.

Irony of ironies?  When the thieving son of a bitch died, and our mother was finally informed he had passed, she cried for her brother, -- the bastard thief who stole from her mother.  Sad, isn't it?  Too bad she's not still alive to see you publicly exposed for the goddamned thieving son of a bitch you, yourself, truly are.  As was he.  Not in a court of law you've bought off, however.  Right here.

In good time.  Again, when I'm damned good and ready.  Employing the very same tactics used against Amanda Wright of Wells Fargo.  -- On steroids, however, since all dirty family laundry will be aired.  All of it.  No threat.  A promise.  Emails sent to your neighbors, friends, professional associates, businesses you deal with.  Although an enormous amount of work, all doable courtesy of the Internet.  Despite being some 1,800 miles away.  -- Small world, isn't it, Bro?  Enjoy the stolen loot, you son of a bitch.  Forget?  It's all you have.

Brother dearest.  Save all the check stubs from the old man's accounts?  Fraudulently sign any of them yourself?  Think this material couldn't be obtained from the banks either through discovery or a criminal investigation?  Still own the house on Condict Rd.?   Any other properties besides this one and the old man's you stole with the help of your shyster bastard? Be interesting to see how far your assets extend and where.  Think all that information isn't accessible?  That I won't determinedly obtain it?

That not only an extensive Internet search will be conducted that will likely take months to complete?  But an extensive background check as well?  Think the Catholic high school you attended shouldn't be informed of the thievery of one of its graduates?  Think the clerics there would be appalled at their failure to teach you right from wrong?  How about both universities?  Think neighbors in the old man's neighborhood won't be informed of your deception?  Think they don't have a right to know?

Ever follow the advice of Dr. Bert Wiser, psychological statistics professor at MSU?  That is, get treatment for your achingly debilitating instability?  Is that why you wound up looting the old man?  Or, is it simply a convenient excuse you'll use to defend the indefensible?  Think this will end any time soon?  That is, public exposure of you as a thieving son of a bitch?  We're just getting started, Bro.  Just getting started.

Don't like it?  Tough shit.  Sue me you thieving son of a bitch.  Would use discovery to learn and post on this website all there is to know about you, your activities, predilections, business 'deals,' as well as all your financial transactions, etc..  All of it.  Would certainly avoid the expense of an extensive background check on you, thieving brother dearest.

Even if you were successful in court, there is nothing for you to take, this remains, as well, a homesteading state where minimal assets are protected anyway.  This site is hosted in an overseas country that doesn't particularly like government intrusion, remains not prone to cooperate.  Besides, can always upload to another webhost in still yet another country.  The possibilities are endless, Bro.  Just takes willingness, effort, unshakable determination.

Even if I lost it all would be more than worth it to expose you for the goddamned thieving son of a bitch you truly are.  Even if you bribed a goddamned nazi 'judge' to remove posted material, would not cooperate and be more than willing to rot in jail.  Would certainly keep reposting it all no matter the cost and/or personal consequences every time it was taken down.  Forget, you thieving son of a bitch?  I never ever give up.

Since all I seek is your exposure for the thief you truly are, would all be worth it.  For the sake of principle.  All the work, financial cost, as well as the time I am about to dedicate to this effort, you deceptive, unstable, sick, thieving son of a bitch.  Unlike you, I live on principle and have absolutely nothing to lose.  You do.  Will certainly take great pleasure and satisfaction in doing all I can to publicly expose you for whom and what you are.

To say nothing of placing enormous pressure on prosecutors you and your equally corrupt shyster son of a bitch apparently bribed.  Don't like it?  Again, tough shit. Chew harder.  The public needs to know to protect itself.  From you and your shyster bastard.  People who live and travel in your circles as well.  Including his.  As a thief, you and he can't be trusted by anyone.  You'll determinedly f--k them.

More than willing to provide this truly public service.  People certainly need to know whom and what you are.  What you have sadly become.  You certainly weren't brought up to be a thieving son of a bitch.  What happened?  Where did you lose yourself, Bro?  -- Never mind.  ... Truly doesn't matter.  Only your exposure.

TC 4-22-16

Hey, Bro?  Remember me?  How soon they conveniently forget.  ... Half asleep? -- Out to lunch?  ... In your own perverse little world?  That of a criminal?  Wake up.  Conveniently, gutlessly forget?  Insanely believe you're someway, somehow off the hook?  Think again.  We're not done.  You remain a thief who will be exposed for whom and what your are.  What you certainly have become.  No question about that.  Patience, you thieving son of a bitch.  Exposure is coming.  Promise.

Think I don't have time?  Truly believe the ongoing Presidential fiasco ends no matter who wins?  The murderous decay in law enforcement gets resolved any time soon?  Criminal Wells Fargo employees from local Kingsland bank manager Amanda S. Wright right up to and including CEO John Stumpf get prosecuted in the near future despite egregious criminal activity?  Wouldn't hold my breath, would you?

Think I don't have time to handle all this and your public exposure for the estate-stealing criminal son of a bitch you've truly become?  How could you steal from the old bastard, you incredibly sad sack of shit?  Certainly weren't brought up to be a thief.  What happened to you?  Where'd you lose yourself?

No question, 2017 will be a most remarkable, defining year for you, Bro.  Public exposure for the thieving piece of shit you've sadly become.  It's on the way. Promise.  Hope you sue.  Nothing for you to take.  Tough, isn't it?  Certainly, makes me judgment proof.  Will certainly, as well, take advantage of discovery.  Publish every detail I can get my hands on.  No matter the consequences.  Only consideration?  Prime directive?  Your exposure for whom and what you are.

Readers?  This not-so-brotherly piece of shit stole from our father.  Manipulated the old man to line his pockets.  Just like our uncle on my mother's side of the family did to my grandmother.  Runs in the family.  Our family.   ... Right, Bro?  This game now gets played my way, -- not yours, you son of a bitch.  That is, no more U.S. Mail tag.

Anything sent by mail will be refused, returned unopened.  Want contact?  Email.  libertyinperil@riseup.net.  Quick.  Easy.  Better yet?  A digital record.  Permanent.  Easily accessible.  Easily uploaded to this site when and if it becomes necessary.  The shyster bastard you hired to steal the estate shouldn't expect escape, either, from public exposure as the thieving piece of shit he, like you, truly both are.  Unscrupulous thieves.

Sincerely hope that piece of crap sues as well.  Nothing to take.  Discovery again would be published no matter the personal cost.  Nothing quite like public exposure, is there?  Especially, when it is nothing but the truth and there is absolutely nothing to lose exposing two pieces of criminal shit for whom and what they are.  Two pieces of gutless human excrement who looted an old man.  ... Right, Bro?

There is no better disinfectant than sunlight, readers.  Glaring sunlight.  Dazzling brilliance.  Amazing how the roaches run for cover.  Equally pointedly, how vermin on two legs manage to so easily prey on the elderly courtesy of the out of control fascist police-state we now live in.  While there'll never be any justice vis a vis this theft, there will be exposure to the brilliant light of day for both criminal perpetrators.  Count on it, you not-so-brotherly criminal son of a bitch.

TC 10-7-16

Hey, Bro?  Hear of Old Sturbridge Village?  Haven't?  ... Not lying, are you, you thieving son of a bitch?  You and your long-term companion EC conspire, bequeath some of the old man's loot to this museum?  An achingly stingy gift of $250-$499, -- considering the size of the estate?  The CEO and Board have any idea you stole it?  Think they'd care?  -- Just getting started, dearest, dearest Bro.  ... Delusionally believe I haven't more than enough time, resources, determination to expose you for the thieving piece of crap you truly are?  ... Under $500 back in 2013?  Remarkably parsimonious with stolen money aren't you?   What does it feel like to have gutlessly ripped off an incompetent old man?  -- Dear old Dad.  Certainly, look forward to digging much deeper into how you and your shyster lawyer managed to bamboozle and loot the old bastard.  Back in the day, certainly wouldn't have fallen for your bullshit.  Would have kicked your worthless, thieving ass out the door.  Intend to expose it to the light of day.  Indeed, a public service. Seatbelts on, you thieving son of a bitch. Tally ho!

TC 3-24-17

... Brief aside, dear readers, for a most exceptional reason.  -- Although infrequent, pressing ongoing personal business must come first on rare occasion.  Hope you agree, moreover, find it entertaining, -- as this writer did crafting what follows.  Principle trumps all.  Remains prime mover, prime directive no matter what.

This pressing issue involves a family thief. A heartless predator preying on the elderly who must be held accountable, exposed to the light of day.  Especially, since authorities failed to do their job.  The following is part of that continuing effort to expose this piece of shit for whom and what he is:

Hey, Bro?  Guess what?  Me, again.  Most determined pain in the ass.  Miss me?  An inconvenient, nagging hemorrhoid that simply won't go away no matter what.  -- A pile with a smile that takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'.

... Delusionally think this most persistent nemesis of yours conveniently disappeared to parts unknown, vanished in thin air? To give a turd a break?  Wake up.  Not a chance, you thieving son of a bitch.  ... When you insanely believe this writer's gone and you're finally in the clear, guess what, here I am, right in your face.

Despite what's going on across our formerly great country, always have more than enough time for personal business.  That is, exposing you, Bro, to the glaring light of day.  A pathetically greedy predator.  Your target, who else, the elderly.  Most defenseless, vulnerable, an easy fleece.  -- Thought you'd steal from the surly old curmudgeon with impunity, no consequences?

Successfully escape accountability? Avoid detection, all responsibility?  Blatant theft of an old man's estate?  A little help from a bought and paid for hopelessly greedy unprincipled shyster?  Supposed cake walk due to 1800 miles separation?  No one to hold you accountable?  Your feet to the fire?  What could you possibly been thinking?

You've read this publication before.  Know precisely who and what I am, what I do.  Never give up.  Never say die.  Ignore all obstacles.  Know full well Liberty In Peril modus operandi remains as relentlessly ferocious, blindingly intense as ever.

No punches pulled.  No slack.  No personal consideration.  Certainly, not for a gutless son of a bitch, no more than a thieving predator.  Looted target, guess who, dear old dad.  Pitiful.  Delusionally believe you had the booty coming?  An entitlement?  For having had to put up with his shit all those years?  Wake up.

Hear of Historic Deerfield?  Of course, you have, you lying son of a bitch.  Forget?  You're one of their not-so-generous 'benefactors.'  ... With all the money stolen from our father's estate, only bequeath them a piss poor $40 bucks?

Unbelievable.  An achingly tight, cheap, thieving, worthless piece of duplicitous crap.  ... Write-off?  Negligible.  ... Feather  in the cap?  How?  Delusionally believe your treachery would never see the light of day?  What planet do you live on?

Board of Trustees Chair Anne K. Groves know full well you looted the estate?  How about President Philip Zea?  Think both don't have a right to know?  How about Anne Lanning, Vice President For Museum Affairs?  To say nothing of Susan Martinelli, Vice President For Business Affairs?

These officials are entitled to know precisely whom they're doing business with.  A thief.  Gutless phony.  Blow-hard fraud.  Hoity-toity dandy.  Worse?  An unprincipled thief who stole from his father.  ... Glaring light of day sucks, doesn't it, Bro?  No escaping the unvarnished truth, this most bitter reality.  Not a chance.

Saddest of all?  Back in the day, Hell would have frozen over before anyone would have have been able to rip off the craggy old bastard.  Remember quite well how intent, determined he was not to be fleeced late in life by a sick son of a bitch like you.

A leech.  Ironic, isn't it?  Gutless rip off of an old man who couldn't adequately handle his affairs any longer.  How do you sleep nights?

Fraud runs in the family, clearly.  History repeating itself.  Right in the footsteps of our grandmother's son, who callously ripped off his mother decades ago.  Again, another achingly pathetic piece of human excrement.  Just like you.  Intend to lay it bare.  Methodically.  Painstakingly. In great detail.  Living, breathing color.

For all to see.  A public service.  Exposure of the criminal piece of human excrement you truly are.  For sustained public review.  A goddamned thief.  Pissed? Chagrined?  Nonplused?  Tough shit.  Sue.  Would certainly immediately post all discovery no matter the consequences.

All snail mail will be returned unopened.  No phone tag.  Got something to say? Email.  Say it right here.  On this website.  In public.  For the world to see.  Will be posted in its entirety.  No editing.  Unlike you, this writer doesn't lie, cheat, steal.  Honors his word.  Intend to expose you precisely for whom and what you are.

Duplicitous predator who preyed on his own father.  Blinding exposure to benefit the community.  Have nothing to lose providing this public service, but you do.  No better disinfectant than sunshine.

.. Think the old bastard not spinning in his grave?  -- Old lady not doing the same?  One thing for certain.  Neither brought you up to be a goddamned thief.  Yet, here we are.  ... Until next time, Tally Ho!

5-25-18

... Hey, Sheriff? Is it true Llano County Attorney Becky Lange has advised you to stay out of the "Berardi Property Rights Denial-Damage To Pace Arrow-Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764" fiasco?  That right, Bill?  Isn't that obstruction of justice?  Also true your deputies have advised the Bolens to accept the status quo and not force the no-trespassing issue with Greene?  If so, isn't that also obstruction and official oppression?  When will you do your job, Bill?  As an elected official, you answer to the public, forget?  -- No honor?  ... No honor at all? If the foregoing allegations are indeed true, didn't you swear an oath to uphold the law and Constitution?  Why aren't you doing so?  No guts?

Your deputy has been accused of abusing authority.  What action have you taken other than ignore the complaint?  Why aren't both Rodriguez and the County Attorney under criminal investigation?  The County Attorney appears to be obstructing justice, accepting the word of Greene in lieu of two surveyor companies who strongly assert otherwise.  Both the County Attorney and District Attorney have ignored complaints.  Par for the course in Llano County, isn't it?  Failed to do their jobs.  No surprise there, right, Bill?  Both receiving 'special consideration' up to and/or including a bribe from Greene?  Regardless, clearly, no justice in Nazi Llano County.  Bottom line?  Desperate need for an outside criminal investigation.  Conveniently, forget?  This County is ruled by men, certainly not rule of law and the United States Constitution.

Precisely, why there is desperate need for a new federal agency whose sole function would be to investigate, arrest, charge, and prosecute criminal law enforcement, prosecutors, and judges in a special court whose only mandate would be to adjudicate such cases.  Total independence.  Until that happens, the criminal bastards who falsely believe they run and own this hell hole County will continue to do as they please.

Tim Chorney, Publisher
Liberty In Peril

Some salient quotes occurring later on in this edition vis a vis unfinished business County officials continue to ignore:

... "No justice.  Precisely, why there is desperate need for a new federal agency whose sole function would be to investigate, arrest, charge, and prosecute corrupt, abusive, criminal officers, prosecutors, and judges in a special court that would adjudicate only these cases.  Total independence.  The only way to rein in these criminals, particularly the murderers in blue.

Sadly, the achingly clueless bastards in law enforcement don't need a legitimate reason to kill.  Enjoy carte blanche to murder on the job.  Nearly always, with impunity.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Sue the living shit out of the jackbooted motherf--kers, the department, and the city.  Any officer engaged in, or threatening this kind of unnecessary violence needs to be criminally prosecuted.  Not protected and coddled.  Not put on paid leave, -- no more than a paid vacation.  Not sent home without pay to catch up on his beauty sleep.

Firing is egregiously insufficient.  How can the law enforcement community be trusted?  No foreign power, no terrorist organization, not even the criminal element presents a greater threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties than the criminal jackbooted bastards in law enforcement.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Madam County Attorney?  "Sonny Boy?"

These are extremely dangerous times for our formerly great country.  ... Hear the rumble?  An unwanted dreaded second American revolution catastrophically looming.  -- As our legislators and other government officials figuratively 'fiddle while Rome burns.'

Not good enough.  Nowhere near.  Short of an unwanted dreaded second American revolution, only one way for these atrocities to end.  Again, time for a new federal agency whose sole function would be to investigate, arrest, charge, prosecute corrupt, abusive, criminal officers, prosecutors, and judges in a special court whose sole function would be to adjudicate such cases.  Total independence.

Local  and state authorities are egregiously incapable of handling these cases. Tend to protect their own.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Goes with the territory, doesn't it, Bill?  Precisely, why there is no faith or trust in your criminal jackbooted bastards.  Local authorities here in Nazi Llano County have their heads figuratively, securely lodged so far up their clueless ass their eyeballs are turning inside out.  Protect and coddle your clueless, out of control officers.  Imagine that.

Unadulterated, blatant ongoing horse shit.  ... Right, Bill?  F--k these jackbooted bastards.  Aren't worth a crap.  Continually abrogate their oaths of office to protect and defend the United States Constitution.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Includes not only deputies, but the brass as well.  No principles.  No honor.  Lying, conniving, abusive, murderous jackbooted thieving thugs.  The American Civil Liberties Union needs to step up and represent the victims of abusive law enforcement.

To say nothing of innocent civilians all across our formerly great country who are victimized by abusive police.  Need far better representation than a public defender.  Forget?  It's how the bastards in government line government coffers.  All too often, looting the innocent.  Those on the bottom of the food chain.  ... Right, Sheriff?

No justice.  The American Way.  Nazi America.  When is this shit finally going to end?  All of it.  Wake up, Sheriff.  Again, where is dashcam video of the killing of Jeffrey Gray Wise, 52, of Austin by DPS and the Llano County Sheriff's Office?  Two hundred sixty three weeks, now.  A goddamned disgrace.

Why are you still sitting on this information?  What are you hiding, Sheriff?  What is the identity of the officers who killed Wise?  Too gutless to release this information to the public that pays your salary and that of your goons?  Reportedly, there were three officers involved in the shooting.  Who the hell are they?

When will the goddamned 'law' 'enforcement' community finally stop making excuses for engaging in outrageous criminal activity including blatant murder, violent assault, sexual assault, theft, drug trafficking, etc.?  List can go on and on.  Protecting its own no matter what it does or doesn't do?  Convenient, isn't it, Sheriff?  Again, no foreign power, no terrorist organization, not even the criminal element presents a greater threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties than all branches and levels of government, -- including law enforcement.

Corruption within law enforcement remains an existential threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties.  So what else is new?  ... Right, Bill?  Same old duplicitous, aggressively stupid shit occurs right here in Nazi Llano County.  ... Doesn't it, Sheriff?

Think it'll change any time soon?  Don't hold your breath, readers.  Not how things work in Nazi America, right, Sheriff?  Highly reminiscent of how your goons operate though, isn't it, Bill?  Forget?  'Stupid is as stupid does.'  F--ked up is f--ked up no matter where, no matter how.  Problem throughout all law enforcement.

Including right here in Nazi Llano County, right, Sheriff?  Too many officers clearly have their heads securely lodged where the sun seldom shines.  Egregious insanity continues to be perpetrated by the criminal jackbooted bastards in blue.  Ongoing issue.  All over our formerly great country.

Not just in Dallas as in the Guyger case, but all over the nation.  No end to it.  Surprised?  Why?  In today's increasingly national socialist climate anything goes, right, Bill?  Live in a de facto fascist police-state, quickly transitioning to the Trump nazi's Fourth Reich.  Certainly, a problem here in Nazi Llano County, isn't it, Sheriff?  Your goons, however, aren't held accountable when they egregiously f--k up.  Ever.

Precisely why you refuse to release information on your deputies to the long-suffering public? That is, employment history, criminal background, results of drug testing, etc..  ... Got to protect your criminal jackbooted thugs preying on the citizenry with virtual impunity, right, sir?

Equally pointedly, why hasn't Llano County Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764 been held criminally accountable for egregious abuse of power involving denial of property rights to a Kingsland property owner?  To say nothing of consequent resultant physical damage done to a motor home on that property.  Why are you protecting this clueless son of a bitch, Sheriff?

Why hasn't he been prosecuted for official oppression?  Where is financial compensation for the damage this jackbooted piece of human excrement is responsible for? Ferociously pointedly, why are the District Attorney and the County Attorney continuing to protect this jackbooted piece of shit?  He and others like him present an exigent threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties.

Equally to the point, why are your jackbooted pieces of human excrement refusing to enforce Berardi's property rights?  Your goons have failed to take action against Theresa Ahrens when she tore down a no trespassing sign and barrier on Berardi's property.  Have you, your goons, and/or Madam County Attorney been bribed by Johnny Greene?

Ahrens frequently drives all the way through Berardi's property.  Coup de grace?  When Berardi complained to Llano County Deputy Idle about the trespassing, the officer's response was insane.  Said the Sheriff told him to tell Berardi since Ahrens believes she owns his property she can't be charged with trespassing.  Perfect Catch-22, right, Sheriff?  You're not fit for office, Bill.  Bribed by Johnny Greene?

Why is Theresa Ahrens allowed by your goons to dictate what vehicles can and cannot be parked on Berardi's property?  Ahrens claims she has proof the property belongs to her where the vehicle was parked.  Has failed to produce it. Surveyors say otherwise.  Back up Berardi.  Yet, your jackbooted bastards refuse to enforce Berardi's property rights.  Why?  Somebody lining somebody's pockets, Sheriff?

Ms. Ahrens micro-mini portable 'house' is parked on an unused unmarked Llano County road.  Imagine that.  Madam County Attorney well-aware.  Has done nothing.  Shit squat.  Egregiously ignored her oath of office.  Someone bribing you, Becky?  Lining your pockets, Counselor?  Paying you not to sell the unused unmarked County road to Berardi?  Doesn't the County want and need the sale money, to say nothing of the resultant tax income?

No question, County and State agencies remain determinedly, concertedly, achingly incapable of criminal investigation of their own.  Precisely, why a new federal agency desperately needs to be created whose sole function would be to investigate, arrest, charge, prosecute corrupt, abusive, criminal officers, prosecutors, and judges in a special court whose sole function would be to adjudicate only such cases.  Total independence.  Certainly, go a long, long way to cleaning up this cess pool County.  Rein in the outrageously corrupt, abusive, achingly inept, self-serving assholes who run and own this hell hole.

Sheriff, you falsely claim the Kingsland County Commissioner has the authority to resolve this ongoing property rights issue.  Clearly, doesn't.  You, Madam County Attorney, and "Sonny Boy" are certainly an egregious impediment, continue to determinedly stonewall.  Someone's pockets are being lined.  Again, where's financial compensation for the damage Llano County Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764 is directly responsible for to the Pace Arrow?  Why hasn't he been prosecuted for this damage, to say nothing of infringement of Berardi's property rights?  -- Just getting started, Sheriff.  Far more to come.

-- You're not doing your jobs, Sheriff.  You've got a loose vicious dog problem in Kingsland, Bill.  When will you and the troops finally do something about this ongoing issue?  Certainly, a recurring problem on Skyline, particularly on occasion at the intersection of Odessa.  Pedestrians, runners, and cyclists are at risk.  Too busy lining County coffers with bogus tickets?"

Counselor:

The enclosed emails were sent to the Llano County Attorney and Sheriff, respectively, vis a vis the above matter.  Remain unanswered.  The County Attorney appears to be protecting and defending the deputy at behest of Kingsland property owner Johnny Greene.  May have received some consideration from Greene up to and including a bribe.  Are the County Attorney, Greene, and the Deputy under criminal investigation?  If not, why not?

Re:  Berardi Property Rights Denial-Damage To Pace Arrow-Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764

Counselor:

As you're well aware, we have an outrageously corrupt, abusive, achingly inept Llano County Sheriff's Office here in Nazi Llano County.  Worse, you and your office aid and abet these SS jackbooted bastards in black.  The issue at the moment is the same it's been the last six months.

How is it two surveyor companies, the Appraisal District, the Tax Office, the Precinct 3 Commissioner, even the goddamned Sheriff himself now states Kingsland resident James Berardi owns the lots in contention all these months?

Yet, you ludicrously assert that's not the County's legal position.  It's not?  Why not?  You claim you're not a real estate expert.  Rather than accept the advice of two surveyor companies, the Precinct 3 Commissioner, the Appraisal District, the Tax Office, and even the Sheriff himself, you've inexplicably chosen to follow the advice of property owner Johnny Greene, -- who conveniently happens to be reportedly in the oil industry.

Question to be asked.  Could you have received any 'consideration' in return, -- up to and including a bribe?  Only way to know for sure is for the District Attorney to conduct a criminal investigation.  Apparently, there has been none.  If not, why not?

Equally pointedly, why hasn't Llano County Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764 been held criminally accountable for egregious abuse of power involving denial of property rights to this Kingsland property owner?  To say nothing of consequent resultant physical damage done to a motor home on that property.

Our achingly useless, worthless, gutless Sheriff has ignored an email vis a vis the damage this jackbooted thug is responsible for.  Interestingly, his fellow officers believe him to be an idiot.  Yet, the Sheriff continued to defend this piece of human excrement until he realized  this entire fiasco would not be swept under the carpet.

Rodriguez is indeed an idiot.  Would you believe this piece of crap ordered the motor home to be moved on to an unmarked unused Llano County road? That motor home has indeed been moved back to where it was parked before Rodriguez forced it to be moved.  Why hasn't the County paid for the cost of moving it back?  To say nothing of the damage.

Equally pointedly, why is it the County has allowed Theresa Ahrens to park and live in her tiny cottage on that very same road?  Why hasn't she been evicted by the County?  Why was she assessed taxes on an adjacent improvement she doesn't own?

Why is it, Counselor, Johnny Greene is paying for the attorney retained by Ms. Ahrens?  Is Greene attempting to make this all go away by bribery?  Greene has also informed Berardi he is going to sue.  For what?  Has Greene lost his mind?

What about Wells who installed a $4500 septic system on a lot turns out he does not own as a result of Greene, an outrageously inept County, to say nothing of the Llano County Attorney who remains equally determinedly clueless?

How about Bolen who hasn't a pot to piss in, but was nonetheless f--ked over by Greene to say nothing of an egregiously inept County, to say nothing of you and your goddamned equally incompetent office?

None of this is going away, Counselor, -- any time soon.  Will not be swept under the carpet as all the other crap going on in this hell hole County.  Not a chance.  Expect a full expose in this publication whether or not this outrageous fiasco finally gets resolved.  Including full public exposure of both the Sheriff and his jackbooted thug.

Who are they, Sheriff? Their past history?  An ongoing investigation remains a lame bullshit excuse.  How can you and your goons be trusted when you refuse to disclose information? Two hundred sixty three weeks.  Especially, your egregious failure to disclose the identity of the officers who pulled the trigger.  To cover your sorry ass, Sheriff?  Those of your thugs?  The people have a right to know what happened, how it went down.  You don't understand that, Sheriff?  Sadly, clearly, you answer to no one.  Including taxpayers.  Especially, taxpayers.

Until you and your goons come clean, doubt will remain this was indeed a good shoot.  The longer you drag your feet, the greater the doubt.  Think not?  Wake up.  Your credibility has tanked.  Isn't getting any better as this bullshit continues unabated.  Two hundred sixty three weeks.   Still no identification of the officers involved  ... Can't get your stories straight?  In line?  Discrepancy between LCSO and DPS? Wake up, Sheriff.  The public no longer buys the bullshit.  No longer trusts you.  On this and many, many other issues.  You have no credibility.  Absolutely, none.

Readers, this is but one of about four other highly questionable killings by law enforcement in Llano County in the last decade or so.  There was one within the City of Llano, another in a field near Fuzzy's Corner, Buchanan Dam, yet another in Point Tella, Buchanan Dam, still another in Tow.  If there are any others I may have neglected to mention, kindly email.

It's time the public be fully informed.  -- Know what we're dealing with here and how 'law' 'enforcement' operates in this hell hole County.  If these jackbooted bastards are not reined in, the life lost could be many  others courtesy of a law enforcement system that is no longer accountable to anyone.  ... Right, Sheriff?  TL?  "Sonny Boy?"  Madam County Attorney?

The Sheriff seems to have no clue the people who pay him and his goons are entitled to know whom is killing whom and why.  This shit always seems to be swept under the carpet.  Ignored.  The attitude of these jackbooted sons of bitches is trust us.  They can't be.  They've lied too many times.  Refuse to be accountable to anyone.  We live in a goddamned fascist police-state where law enforcement does as it pleases. Usually, with impunity.  This has to change.

The Texas Rangers have become rubber stamp to atrocities committed by law enforcement.  This also has to change.  No one is holding law enforcement accountable any longer.  No one.  No one in state or federal government. This is precisely why Ferguson triggered such an uproar.  There was no justice there.  None here.  None anywhere.  Officers are abusive, corrupt, inept.

Falsely ticket and arrest the innocent to line County coffers.  Court fees charged continue to be horrendous.  -- Aren't taxpayers already looted to pay these costs?  Aren't you not only double f--king those falsely accused, but taxpayers also hellaciously looted to pay the very same costs?   Yet, the criminal bastards in power in Llano continue to pile on the fees. This is nothing more than goddamned bullshit.  This money finds its way into the pockets of the corrupt, abusive bastards who falsely believe they run and own this hell hole.

Would you believe the last time the Sheriff's Office happened to be 'audited' during the Garrett regime, reportedly, auditors couldn't figure out what went where and why? Yet, surprise, surprise.  Nothing was done.  There has to be transparency.  There is none.  Why would these thieving bastards want any?  ... Right, Sheriff?  TL?  How else could they so easily steal and loot with virtual impunity?  Worse, this reinforces jackbooted power in this goddamned, godforsaken hell hole County.

The public has a right to know the histories of the Sheriff's goons.  Clearly, the Sheriff doesn't think so.  That is, where they came from.  Why they left where they were.  What is happening here is the Sheriff is using 'personnel matters' as a convenient excuse to deny the public access to the history of outrageously corrupt, abusive, inept officers who are no more than criminals themselves.

He's protecting his outrageously corrupt, abusive, inept jackbooted bastards.  Worse, the standards imposed by sheriff's offices statewide with the exception of metropolitan counties are well below those of DPS and city police departments.  Why?  So the corruption, abuse, ineptness, and outright stealing can continue unabated?  This has to change.  ... Can't have that, can we?  Sheriff?  TL?

The public should understand Llano County authorities have it all sewn up.  Did you know the Texas Attorney General does not have the authority to investigate and prosecute County authorities on his own?  The District Attorney has to call for an investigation by the Texas Rangers.  Then, the State can prosecute if it so chooses.

Consequently?  Guess what?  Nothing will happen.  Nothing ever does.  The goddamned corruption continues unabated until you, the public, pressure authorities.  Precisely, why we all enjoy the 'best' government money can buy. Literally.  Without question, the corrupt, abusive, inept sons of bitches are all bought and paid for.  Firmly clamped to the taxpayer tit.  Dependent on money looted from innocent citizens caught in their web.  Phony fines and court costs cleverly designed to f--k the innocent and enrich the pieces of shit who falsely believe they run and own Llano County. Right, Sheriff?  TL?  "Sonny Boy?"  Madam County Attorney?

Interestingly, the former Sheriff and District Attorney were reportedly forced to retire after an outrageous scandal involving a drunk driving police officer from out of town.  Including special treatment of the drunken son of a bitch that no other citizen caught doing the same would have been afforded.  An honest, honorable Llano County Deputy suffered the consequences. Forget? Great officers do not last in this hell hole County. ... Right, Sheriff?  TL?  "Sonny Boy?"  Madam County Attorney?

With all ongoing abuse in this goddamned County, one thing remains for damned sure.  We're just getting started, Sheriff.  You will continue to be exposed for whom and what you and your corrupt, abusive, inept jackbooted bastards have become, truly are, not what you phonies purport to be, that is, how you continue to f--k over a public you've falsely sworn to protect and defend.  -- Exposure, the only way short of an unwanted dreaded revolution to force desperately needed change in a goddamned fascist police-state. The Fourth Reich.

Have your jackbooted thugs been tested for steroids, Sheriff?  If you've nothing to hide, Bill, release the results of all drug testing.  'Personnel matters?'  Bullshit.  Looted taxpayers have the right to know.  They're footing the bill for all this goddamned corruption, abuse, ineptness. When will you and the boys end the shakedowns?  Looting of the innocent to line County coffers?  No honor at all?

Where are your swastika armbands, you fascist son of a bitch?  You and your thugs remain out of uniform.  Once again, Sheriff, and ad nauseum, did you and/or your goons pressure Schilling to exit the race?  Did you steal the election? If so, an aggressively stupid, achingly gutless public gets what it truly deserves.  One of the most corrupt, abusive, inept 'law' 'enforcement' agencies in our formerly great country.

While the business and church communities stood tall during the recent Kingsland flood catastrophe, there was one glaring exception.  On 10-17-18, the Antlers Coffee Shop closed due to storm-related failure of the Kingsland water system. Patrons, however, are routinely allowed to get online outside even when the shop is closed.

A long-term coffee shop customer entered the hotel lobby to ask the desk clerk whether wifi was still up and running after the catastrophe.  She said it was and told the patron he could get online inside the closed shop.  She then asked him to have another regular customer who had just arrived outside to come in and get out of the cold as well.

Antlers co-proprietor Rick apparently quickly got wind of both customers, made quite a jackass of himself emulating the petulant narcissist currently occupying the Oval Office.  Aggressive stupidity at a time the Kingsland business community is indeed suffering, can least afford it.  Further proof positive of the old adage 'can fix ignorant, can't fix stupid.'

Why would, why should both customers put up with this?  Think this hasn't happened to others?

Highly reminiscent of our outrageously bought and paid for judiciary, Llano County prosecutors, Sheriff Bill Blackburn and his criminal SS jackbooted bastards in black who continue to egregiously disgrace themselves and the badge, do as they please regardless of the law and Constitution, carefully consider the following.  It's appalling.  Runs against the grain of everything our formerly great country once stood for.  No longer.

Llano County DA "Sonny Boy" is in the news.  Received an award.  The DailyTrib reports:

"The Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission recognized District Attorney Wiley “Sonny” McAfee on August 22 for his efforts in prosecuting natural and cultural resource violations as well as environmental crimes. The commission named the 33rd and 424th district attorney the 2019 Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Prosecutor of the Year. McAfee serves Burnet, Llano, Blanco, and San Saba counties. Elected in November 2012 and taking office on January 1, 2013, he has been instrumental in a number of high-profile cases involving Texas game wardens and Texas State Park police officers."

The District Attorney has ignored a complaint filed earlier by this publication regarding special treatment accorded Texas oil man Johnny Greene by the Llano County Attorney and Sheriff vis a vis a property dispute involving a local banker, three other local property owners with homes encroaching on land they don't own, one of which is on an unused Llano County road.  To say nothing of damage to a Pace Arrow motorhome on that property.  All a result of egregious abuse of authority by Llano County Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764.  The circumstances of this fiasco can be found above in each and every edition of this publication since this happened two and a half years ago.  The Sheriff, the County Attorney, and the District Attorney have all determinedly, concertedly ignored this ongoing, unresolved fiasco raising one ferociously pointed question.  How much were they bribed?

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.

7-3-20

Last three months been getting online at the Kingsland HEB.  Met quite a few readers at the picnic table.  -- People I didn't personally know, but who came up and introduced themselves.  Certainly, grateful for your concern, caring, and moral support.  One of the Front End managers, Kevin, had granted permission to plug in and access HEB Customer wifi at the picnic table some three months ago.  Someone in County government must have subsequently complained. Three months after the fact.  LOL.  Finally got the boot 6-27-20 from the achingly gutless Store Manager who couldn't, or wouldn't stand up to pressure from this asshole.

Pathetic, isn't it?  LOL.  Certainly, knew it was coming.  Hard to believe it took three months.  LOL.  Apparently, the gutless Store Manager, Monty, sent out the second in command, Dan, to deliver the happy news.  Spoke to him awhile, but sadly as expected, he had nothing substantive to say.  Other than, "leave."  LOL.  Advised him to send out the clearly reluctant Store Manager who apparently wanted to avoid the encounter.  Finally, came out.  Imagine that.

Asked the Store Manager, Monty Young, for a business card.  Remarkably, he had none.  Couldn't be, could it?  LOL.  An HEB Store Manager with no business card?  How is that possible?  Unlimited corporate greed?  Aryan arrogance of a privately-owned corporation?  Or, was he simply lying?  Informed him he'd indeed be front and center in this next edition.

Before getting into specific detail vis a vis my conversation with the Store Manager, it must be stated staff at the Kingsland HEB is second to none.  Have known many of them for years.  Work extremely well together as a team.  Certainly, exceptionally customer-friendly.  The problem with this store is not staff.  Not even the Store Manager and Assistant Manager per se, -- who apparently, despite their denials, had been pressured by someone.  It's the HEB corporate management suite at the root of most of the problems at this store.

The following salient issues were discussed with the Store Manager before I left.  -- Interestingly, none of which he denied.  LOL.  Readers, have you noticed cheaper generic products are either continually out of stock or discontinued?  Especially, after the store changed its product line weeks before the pandemic.  Apparently, in an effort to emulate the Marble Falls store that caters to the Horseshoe Bay elite.

New larger shopping carts were brought in to the Kingsland store so shoppers would supposedly buy more product, increase store sales.  Shelves are restocked 24 hrs.  Staff was unhappy because aisles are too narrow for the larger carts.  Makes it harder to stock shelves when the store is open.  Not only that, makes it much more difficult for shoppers to navigate the narrow aisles.

Product pricing has steeply increased.  They accomplish this both by directly raising prices, as well as in engaging in deception, that is, downsizing product.  One recent glaring example is their generic bleach.  For awhile, it was unavailable, out of stock.  Then, it was downsized from three quarts to two.  Price remained at $1.  A 33% increase.  Done deceptively.  At a time when inflation is supposedly non-existent.  What ever happened to the HCF quart and a half ice cream that sold for $1.99?  Long since gone.  Both aforementioned products had already been downsized once before.  LOL.  List can go on and on.  Unbridled corporate greed.

As I reminded the Store Manager, Kingsland residents, for the most part, are poor, young, elderly, and/or disabled, etc.  This store now caters to the rich who live on the lake and Sunrise Beach.  Not sustainable.  ... Especially, if the shit finally hits the fan vis a vis the Trump nazi, and/or a second shutdown occurs courtesy of the raging, poorly-handled, achingly mismanaged pandemic.

To store employees, all of whom I admire, consider personal friends, courageously provide your ongoing grievances to this publication.  I will publish them while protecting your identity.  If you won't stand up, nothing changes.

As I informed the Store Manager, the problem in Kingsland is the fact HEB has no substantive competition.  What is desperately needed is a Walmart or other major corporation to rattle the cage of local HEB management as well as the corporate management suite.  Until that occurs, nothing changes, shit happens.  ... Right, Monty?  Dan?

In the last two and a half weeks or so, three middle-aged women tripped and fell on the curb by the picnic table.  Third time, 6-26-20.  Took the Store Manager and Assistant Manager quite some time to exit the store and arrive with ice to quell the swelling of the woman who had fallen hard on her face.  I subsequently asked Monty to consider painting the curb iridescent red or orange to avoid injury and a future lawsuit.

Responded couldn't be painted red since it wasn't a fire zone.  Could certainly be painted orange or some other bright color.  If management doesn't care about a lawsuit, where is its concern for the pain and suffering if a customer trips, falls, and suffers serious injury?  ... Couldn't care less, Monty?  -- Or, is it, shortsightedly, insurance will indeed take care of it?  Wake up.  Just a matter of time before someone gets seriously injured and sues the living shit out of HEB.  Even if HEB prevails in court, it loses.  Consider the cost of bad publicity.

To the credit of management, both the Store Manager and Assistant Manager return carts to the front of the store, sanitize them, and pick up trash.  Recently, associates informed me the Store Manager wasn't happy about the performance of the Assistant Store Manager.  LOL.  Apparently, ole' Dan got too good at hiding in the store, shirking cart and other duties, etc.  LOL.  That's apparently changed.  ... Trouble in paradise, boys?  LOL.  Itching to retire, Dan?  LOL.  Give me a break.  Never a dull moment, -- at customer and staff expense.

Finally, to the motherf--ker in County government who likely complained, don't flatter yourself.  Three months?  What took so long you gutless piece of shit?  LOL.  No matter what, Liberty In Peril will remain up and running.  Despite the fact it's been more than 21 years, just the very beginning.  Far more to come.  Far more County corruption, malfeasance, criminal activity to be followed up, and/or exposed.  LOL.  ... Bribed by Johnny Greene, Madam County Attorney?

Readers are advised there is a sticker on the back of the power supply stating:  "Please remove this sticker."  It cannot be easily removed.  Will not peel off.  Have hesitated to scrape it off since doing so might obliterate anything underneath it, -- if anything.  It is not covering a vent and there is no technical reason that it be removed.  Certainly, did not affect operation of the supply for the last year and four months I've had the machine.

No greater love from a stranger.  Seatbelts on.  CBS News reports:

"Fort Smith, Arkansas — Raelynn Nast, a 6-year-old from Fort Smith, Arkansas, has always been a daddy's girl, according to her mother, Lacey. "She was very proud of her dad. She always wanted to introduce her dad to everybody," Lacey said. Raelynn's father, Davey, died recently of colon cancer. He was just 41 years old. Raelynn was devastated. "It was a cry that was pure heartbreak," Lacey said. Enter Emily Beineman, who happened to be jogging with her dog, Blue, the day of Davey's visitation. She was running past the funeral home when she heard a tiny voice call out from the chapel steps.  "She was like, 'May I pet your puppy?' And I was like, 'Yeah, of course, as long as your parents don't mind,'" Beineman said, not knowing the circumstances. Raelynn explained that her dad was lying inside, gave Blue a huge hug, then gave Beineman a stunning invitation. "I asked if she wanted to come in and see my dad," Raelynn said. That's right, the proud daughter invited that random jogger to meet her father. Beineman was hardly dressed for a funeral. She knew just walking in the door would cause a scene, but she also knew this was the last time that little girl would be able to introduce her daddy to anyone. So she followed her gut — and followed Raelynn down the aisle."

Uncommon Valor.

"Everyone was kind of looking around like, 'Where did she come from?' And she came in right next to Rae like they'd known each other for so long. There was that connection there," Lacey said.  How could two people bond so quickly? Raelynn says it should be no mystery. "She helped me feel better by her kindness." Raelynn and Beineman got together again this week and plan to stay friends forever. Of course, no one will ever replace her dad, but Raelynn is on the path to a better place, thanks to the kindness of a stranger and the healing power of a warm puppy."

Uncommon Valor. The Washington Post reports:

"He mentored decades of Army Rangers. At 94, he’ll receive the Medal of Honor. Retired Col. Ralph Puckett will become one of the most highly decorated soldiers in U.S. history."

For damned good reason:

"Shivering in freezing temperatures, about 50 U.S. soldiers braced for the worst. Hundreds of Chinese soldiers were about to launch a series of bloody attacks on the hill the Americans had just taken under fire, and no reinforcements were within a mile. The clash that then-1st Lt. Ralph Puckett and his soldiers experienced that night on “Hill 205” came at the outset of the Battle of the Chongchon River, a pivotal moment in which senior U.S. commanders were surprised by China’s full-scale entry into the Korean War. Thousands of U.S. soldiers died in following days as they withdrew hundreds of miles back into South Korea in what the Army now describes as the longest retreat in U.S. military history. Puckett, who commanded the Eighth Army Ranger Company, was wounded by a hand grenade in the first attack on the hill on Nov. 25, 1950, but stayed in command. American and South Korean soldiers absorbed five more chaotic, armed assaults through the night before Puckett ordered his soldiers to withdraw the following morning as the Chinese threatened to overrun them."

Uncommon Valor:

“I had been wounded three times by then, and I was lying there in my foxhole unable to do anything,” Puckett would later recall for an oral history project. “I could see three Chinese about 15 yards away from me, and they were bayoneting or shooting some of my wounded Rangers who were in the foxholes.” More than 70 years later, Puckett, 94, will receive the Medal of Honor, the nation’s highest award for valor in combat, for his actions. President Biden called Puckett at home in Columbus, Ga., on Friday to inform him of his decision to approve the award, said John Lock, a retired Army officer who began petitioning the Army for reconsideration of Puckett’s actions in 2003. The Army credits Puckett with leading his soldiers across an open field to take the hill under intense fire, braving enemy fire repeatedly to check on his soldiers after he was wounded the first time, and directing “danger close” artillery strikes near his own position to ward off advancing Chinese soldiers."

Uncommon Valor:

"Puckett has said he told his soldiers to leave him behind after he was incapacitated, but two privates first class, Billy G. Walls and David L. Pollock, carried him to safety."

All three men, best of the very best.

"Puckett would go on to earn the Distinguished Service Cross, the nation’s second-highest award for valor in combat, for his actions in the battle. The recognition came near the outset of a 22-year career that also included a second Distinguished Service Cross and two Silver Stars for valor in Vietnam. Puckett was awarded five Purple Hearts for injuries suffered in combat and two Bronze Star Medals with the V device for valor. With an upgrade to the Medal of Honor, Puckett will be one of the most highly decorated service members for valor in U.S. military history, Lock said."

Not surprisingly:

"Among those who assisted in Puckett’s case were the late Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), who contacted the Army on Puckett’s behalf a few months before dying of cancer in 2018, and retired Gens. Joseph Votel and Stanley McChrystal, who know Puckett through their mutual service as Rangers, according to documents that Lock provided to The Washington Post. “Then First Lieutenant Puckett’s actions on Hill 205 in 1950 exemplified personal bravery beyond the call of duty, risking his own life as he drew enemy fire so his men could locate, engage, and destroy an enemy machinegun nest and kill a sniper,” Votel wrote in a 2018 letter to Army officials in support of Puckett’s nomination. Puckett’s wife, Jean, said in a phone interview that the family hopes to visit the White House for a ceremony. Considering her husband’s advancing age and some health problems, she expressed concern about how long it was taking. “He is not the one who has been pushing it. It has been John and our immediate family, who want him to be able to receive it personally if he is going to be awarded that medal,” she said, referring to Lock. “He felt the Distinguished Service Cross was honor enough.”

Stunning, isn't it?

"For years, Puckett has been a spiritual and cultural leader of sorts for the 75th Ranger Regiment, the elite fighting force that specializes in raids, airfield seizures and other difficult missions in combat. As an “honorary colonel” for the regiment, he traveled overseas in his 80s with U.S. commanders, including to Iraq and Afghanistan, and regularly met with soldiers at Fort Benning, Ga., the home of both the Ranger Regiment and much of Ranger School. Votel, who retired as chief of U.S. Central Command in 2019, was commander of the 1st Ranger Battalion when he got to know Puckett during an exercise in South Korea. Puckett shared details about his experiences fighting in the Korean War, connecting to the soldiers with his “down-to-earthiness,” he said. “He’s a very noble individual. He adds a level of dignity, a level of stalwartness, to everything that he is a part of,” Votel said in an interview. “He’s just really a revered figure in the Ranger Regiment.” Puckett, who was born in Tifton, Ga., retired from the Army in 1971 and settled near Fort Benning after retiring as a civilian in the 1990s. His wife said they met there in a hospital decades earlier as Puckett was healing from the wounds he suffered in North Korea. More recently, Puckett said he supported women serving in combat units. He said during an interview with The Washington Post in 2015 that he believed some could meet the standards and wanted to see them do it. His granddaughter, an Army captain, is an artillery officer, Lock said. Puckett recently made an appearance at the Best Ranger Competition, in which two-person teams of soldiers compete in an event stretching over 2.5 days. “Thank you for being what you are and doing what you’re doing,” Puckett said in remarks captured and posted online by the Army. “You set the standard for the Army. You set the standard for the Rangers. You set the standard for all of us.”

Uncommon Valor.

In follow-up to a case covered repeatedly here and elsewhere, NPR reports:

"A grand jury has charged three Georgia men with federal hate crimes and attempted kidnapping in the death of Ahmaud Arbery, a 25-year-old Black man who was shot while jogging last year. Gregory McMichael, 65; his son, Travis McMichael, 35; and William "Roddie" Bryan, 51, were each charged with one count of interference with rights and with one count of attempted kidnapping, according to a Justice Department statement. Travis and Gregory McMichael also face charges of using guns to inflict violence. The indictment alleges the defendants used force and threats to intimidate and interfere with Arbery's right to use a public street because he was Black."

Readers will recall:

"The McMichaels chased Arbery through a suburban neighborhood outside Brunswick, Ga., yelling at him, cutting off his jogging route with their truck and threatening him with guns. Arbery died during that encounter on Feb. 23, 2020. When a video capturing the confrontation was leaked and posted online that May, sparking widespread outrage, the case investigation sped up. All three men were later charged in state court. They face state charges including murder, aggravated assault and false imprisonment. A trial date has not yet been set for that case."

Here comes the shyster bullshit:

"Attorneys representing Travis McMichael told NPR in a statement they were upset "that the Justice Department bought the false narrative that the media and state prosecutors have promulgated." "There is absolutely nothing in the indictment that identifies how this is a federal hate crime and it ignores without apology that Georgia law allows a citizen to detain a person who was committing burglaries until police arrive," attorneys Bob Rubin and Jason Sheffield said. Bryan's attorney, Kevin Gough, told NPR that he is disappointed with the Justice Department's decision to pursue federal charges. "Roddie Bryan has committed no crime," Gough said in a statement. "We look forward to a fair and speedy trial, and to the day when Mr. Bryan is released and reunited with his family." Gregory McMichael's attorneys, Frank and Laura Hogue, did not immediately respond to NPR email and voicemail messages seeking comment."

Another murder perpetrated by the jackbooted bastards in blue.  NBC News reports:

"Gerardo Gonzalez traveled home this month from North Carolina, where he attends college, to Oakland, California, to spend time with his two brothers and their mother for her 45th birthday. But instead of cutting a birthday cake last Tuesday, he and his family were mourning the loss of his eldest brother, Mario, 26, who died in police custody April 19 after officers in Alameda County pinned him facedown on the ground for five minutes. "From my point of view, it's heartbreaking to see my mother have to go through this," Gerardo Gonzalez said Wednesday. "She raised her firstborn and now she has to bury her firstborn."

Here's what happened:

"Newly released body camera video shows police talking to Mario Gonzalez in a park after receiving 911 calls that he appeared to be disoriented or drunk. He struggled to answer questions. "He seems like he's tweaking, but he's not doing anything wrong," a man told a 911 dispatcher, according to an audio recording released Tuesday. "He's just scaring my wife." The Gonzalez family and its attorney, Julia Sherwin, said his death is eerily similar to that of George Floyd, who died in Minneapolis police custody May 25. "These Alameda police officers killed Mario literally while the jury was debating Derek Chauvin's murder charges," Sherwin said Wednesday. The Alameda County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death and awaiting results of an autopsy and toxicology tests. Mario Gonzalez died one day before Chauvin, a former Minneapolis police officer, was convicted of murdering Floyd by holding him to the pavement with his knee for 9 minutes, 29 seconds. Chauvin's actions were widely rebuked by Minneapolis Police Chief Medaria Arradondo and several other veteran law enforcement officials who testified that police officers are trained to roll people on their sides as quickly as possible after they have been restrained in the prone position so as to not impair breathing. Sherwin, a civil rights attorney experienced in cases in which people die in police custody, said she was sought out by Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison, whose office prosecuted Chauvin's case, and that she advised Ellison and special prosecutor Steve Schleicher for the trial. She said there is an epidemic in America of police putting people prone on the ground and applying weight on their necks or their backs until they are unresponsive. Dying under such circumstances "feels torturous," she said. She equated it to drowning on dry land. "What we're focused on is accountability for these officers and reform," she said, adding that Mario Gonzalez would still be alive had the officers been trained properly and not used excessive force. "Horrible tactics grow out of horrible training," she said. The officers' attorney, Alison Berry Wilkinson, said: "There are a number of distinguishing factors between this and George Floyd. Not the least of which was that the officers were very attentive to the issue of positional asphyxiation."

He's dead, Counselor.  At the hands of these jackbooted bastards.

"During Chauvin's trial, the prosecution effectively demonstrated that he and three other Minneapolis police officers entirely disregarded changes in Floyd and continued to put pressure on him even when he went limp, she said. "This is exactly the opposite: They were highly aware of what was going on and taking specific efforts to avoid positional asphyxiation," Wilkinson said in an interview Thursday. "They did several things that didn't happen in the George Floyd matter, which includes everything from the de-escalation tactics of using reassuring, calm and polite conversation. They were very professional all the way throughout," she said. "You didn't hear any yelling" or any overlapping or confusing commands. "It was absolutely not ever any pressure on his neck at any time," Wilkinson also said. Alameda police have undergone "extensive ground fighting, grappling, positional asphyxiation training," she said. An officer had his knee on Mario Gonzalez's shoulder blade or momentarily on his lower back, Wilkinson said."

Get this:

"Video shows that after about 4½ minutes of him being pinned to the ground, an officer asks if they can roll him on his side. Another officer replies, "I don't want to lose what I got." Wilkinson declined to identify which officers made those remarks. The initial police statement did not identify Mario Gonzalez by name. It said "a physical altercation ensued" when officers tried to detain him at the park in Alameda and that "the man had a medical emergency." The report said Gonzalez later died at a hospital. The language was similar to the Minneapolis Police Department's initial misleading and inaccurate description of what happened to Floyd, Sherwin said."

They lie like hell.  Including their lawyers.

"Without naming Floyd, a Minneapolis police news release posted on the police department's website and titled "Man Dies After Medical Incident During Police Interaction" had said he "physically resisted officers" on the scene who had ordered him out of his vehicle. "Officers were able to get the suspect into handcuffs and noted he appeared to be suffering medical distress," the release said. It also said Floyd died "a short time later" at a hospital, which was refuted by the testimony of a world-renowned pulmonologist and other prosecution witnesses during the trial. At a news conference Tuesday outside the Alameda Police Department, Gerardo Gonzalez said: "The police killed my brother in the same manner that they killed George Floyd." "When we were first notified, we were told one story," he told NBC News on Wednesday. "Once we saw the actual footage, we reaffirmed that what they told us was not at all accurate." What was shown in the video, he said, was that the officers' actions "could have been avoided if there was proper training or supervision." Sherwin agreed, saying: "Mario was handcuffed for a long time and they're still pressing him to the ground as he's squirming lightly. That's totally inappropriate." Mario Gonzalez's death is under investigation by the Alameda County Sheriff's Department, the county district attorney's office and Louise Renne, a former city attorney for San Francisco and a former president of the San Francisco Police Commission who will lead an independent probe, the city said in a statement. The three officers involved in the arrest — James Fisher, Cameron Leahy and Eric McKinley — have been placed on paid leave, the city said. Fisher has been with the Alameda Police Department since 2010. Leahy and McKinley joined in 2018."

In follow-up to last week's edition of this publication, NBC News reports:

"Two more Loveland, Colorado, police officers and a sergeant were placed on administrative leave after the arrest of a 73-year-old woman with dementia — an encounter that is now the focus of a criminal investigation. Officer Austin Hopp was placed on leave earlier this month after a federal lawsuit accused him and a second officer of injuring Karen Garner during the June 26, 2020, arrest, which was captured on body camera video. Garner suffered a dislocated shoulder, fractured arm and sprained wrist after she was slammed to the ground, hogtied and then placed in the back of a police car, according to the suit. She was walking home when she was stopped for allegedly trying to steal $13.88 worth of items from a Walmart. Garner's attorney, Sarah Schielke, said her client has dementia and sensory aphasia, which impairs her ability to verbally communicate with people or understand others' communications. Schielke said because of the dementia Garner forgot to pay for the items, which were retrieved by Walmart employees. On Tuesday, the Loveland City Manager's Office announced that Officers Tyler Blackett and Daria Jalali, along with Sgt. Philip Metzler, were also on administrative leave. It was not immediately clear if the leave was paid. Jalali was the responding officer during Garner's arrest and Metzler was the supervisor who arrived on scene, according to the lawsuit. Justine Bruno, a spokesperson for the city manager, said that Blackett is a Community Service Officer (CSO). Bruno said that CSOs are primarily responsible for transporting suspects to jail, but could not speak directly on Blackett's role in the incident. The disciplinary actions come days after Schielke released a video of three Loveland officers laughing about Garner's arrest."

Heartless pieces of shit.

"In it, Hopp says he thought the arrest went "great." The officer, along with two others, then watch the body camera video. Hopp asks, “Ready for the pop?” appearing to refer to the moment when he dislocated Garner's shoulder. Schielke said she obtained the video after her client was charged with theft, resisting arrest and obstruction. The charges were later dismissed, she said. The Loveland Police Department said in a statement Wednesday that the officers' actions during the arrest are now the subject of a criminal investigation led by District Attorney Gordon McLaughlin and the Fort Collins Police Services. McLaughlin said in the statement that he will consider the officers' comments about the arrest, along with other evidence, in making his charging decision. McLaughlin went on to say he will ask investigators "to interview all relevant witnesses and assess the appropriateness of charges for anyone whom the facts indicate may bear criminal culpability." The four officers could not be reached Thursday at phone numbers listed for them, and it's not clear if they have obtained legal counsel. The Fraternal Order of Police did not immediately return a request for comment."

CBS News (AP) reports:

"Three police officers involved in the rough arrest of a 73-year-old Colorado woman with dementia have resigned, officials said Friday. Loveland Officers Austin Hopp and Daria Jalali and Community Services Officer Tyler Blackett were all on administrative leave before Chief Robert Ticer announced their departures from the police department during a press conference. During the press conference, Ticer didn't specify whether the officers resigned or were fired. Department spokesman Tom Hacker later confirmed they had resigned. Hopp arrested Karen Garner in June 2020 after she allegedly left a store without paying for about $14 worth of items. Garner filed a federal lawsuit this month saying Hopp dislocated her shoulder when she was arrested and that she did not receive medical care for about six hours after being taken to the county jail. "Our goal at the Loveland Police Department has always been to make our community proud," Ticer told reporters Friday. "We failed, and we are very sorry for that." A team of outside law enforcement agencies is conducting a criminal investigation into the arrest at the district attorney's request. Ticer said there will be an internal affairs investigation handled by the city's human resources director. Surveillance video from a police station released Monday by Garner's lawyer shows Hopp, Jalali and Blackett watching Hopp's body camera footage as Garner is handcuffed to a bench in a holding cell a few feet away. As the officers watched the bodycam footage that showed Hopp holding Garner against a patrol car, Hopp said, "Ready for the pop?" suggesting he was aware that he had injured her. "What you saw in the video, not the Loveland Police Department," Ticer said Friday in reaction to the surveillance video. The body camera footage can be heard but not seen on the police station video. Viewed separately, the body camera footage shows Hopp holding the handcuffed Garner facing away from him against the car. When she tried to turn around and said, as she did repeatedly, that she was trying to go home, he pushed her back against the car and moved her bent left arm up near her head, holding it, saying, "Are you finished? Are you finished? We don't play this game." About 30 seconds later, Garner began to slump toward the ground. Jalali, who recently arrived, said, "Stand up! We're not going to hold you." "It hurt to see that," Ticer said Friday in reaction to the bodycam video. "I've been in law enforcement 32 years, and what I saw in there hurt me personally."

In follow-up to a case covered earlier in this publication and elsewhere, CBS News reports:

"In a federal lawsuit, a 68-year-old Black librarian is accusing North Carolina law enforcement officers of using excessive force against her during a traffic stop. Body camera footage shows the officers grabbing Stephanie Bottom by her hair and throwing her to the ground after she was stopped for speeding in May of 2019."

Jackbooted pieces of human excrement unfit to wear the uniform.

"Bottom was driving from Georgia to North Carolina for her great-aunt's funeral when she was stopped. Her offenses, according to police: speeding 10 miles over the speed limit and not pulling over for officers in Salisbury, North Carolina. Bottom said she was listening to loud music and didn't realize the police were behind her and trying to stop her. In the video, the then-66-year-old grandmother of five is seen face down on the ground after being dragged out of her car. "I was shocked," she told "CBS This Morning" lead national correspondent David Begnaud. "I was in fear. I was scared for my life. I didn't know whether they were gonna shoot me." In body camera footage released by Bottom's attorney, an officer tells Bottom that three police cars had been following her for about 10 miles. They used spike strips to flatten her tires and stop her.

"You put a lot of people in danger tonight, ma'am," an officer says in the footage. "How?" Bottom asks. "… I didn't know you guys was chasing after me. I was listening to my music." She told Begnaud when she saw the police cars behind her, "I was like, why are these policemen, you know, behind me?" It happened on Interstate 85 in Salisbury. "Pretty exciting chase here," one of the officers says in the footage. "I'm at the edge of my seat, baby."

Jesus Christ.  That right?  How you get your cookies off?

"As police pursued, the officer also said, "What's wrong with this f------ --tard?"

What the hell is wrong with you assholes?  How you get your jollies dragging a woman by the hair and throwing her to the ground?

Get this.  It's horrendous:

"Bottom's attorney Ian Mance said Bottom was no threat and law enforcement had an idea of that. "They also pull up alongside her and talk amongst themselves that this is an older Black female," Mance said. "She's by herself. They later wrote an incident report where they said that when they pulled up alongside her she held her hand up in a manner that suggested she was not sure what was going on." Bottom's lawsuit alleges that after the incident the officers congratulated each other. "That's good police work, baby," an officer says in the bodycam footage. One even brags about grabbing a "handful of dreads." "At that point she earned it," an officer says."

Pitiful.  Pathetic.  Jackbooted nazi.  Unbridled racism.

"Bottom is suing the three officers who removed her from her vehicle, the sheriff of Rowan County, North Carolina, and the city of Salisbury for using excessive force. She said they tore her rotator cuff. "My shoulder, I have a torn ligament in my shoulder," Bottom says in the bodycam footage. Begnaud asked Bottom what she wanted to say to the officers. "You hurt me," Bottom said. "You can't hurt vulnerable people. You can't force and brutalize innocent people. If I was guilty for not stopping right away or speeding, it did not call for what you did to me, and you need to be held responsible."

This happens all across the country.

"Bottom pleaded guilty to failure to heed to the blue lights. She was also initially charged with speeding and resisting an officer. Those charges were dismissed. CBS News reached out to the Rowan County Sheriff's Office and the three responding officers and have not heard back. The Salisbury Police Department declined to comment."

Not possible to credibly defend the indefensible.

"A spokeswoman for the city of Salisbury told CBS News it cannot comment on pending litigation."

Convenient excuse.

"It did previously issue a statement saying, "The Salisbury Police Department strives for positive interactions with our residents and visitors."

Simply, not true.

In follow-up to a case covered earlier in this publication and elsewhere, CBS News reports:

"Chicago's police watchdog, the Civilian Office of Police Accountability, has finished a 16-month investigation into the police raid of Anjanette Young, a social worker who was handcuffed naked by police when they wrongfully targeted her home to serve a search warrant for someone else. CBS Chicago first reported on Young's case as part of an investigation into a pattern of Chicago police raids on the wrong residences. In Young's case, the target of the raid actually lived next door, the station reported, and was wearing an electronic monitoring device which police should have been able to track. The Civilian Office of Police Accountability, commonly referred to as COPA, said its investigation involved more than 30 interviews, hundreds of pages of evidence and hours of video material, and revealed "significant deficiencies" in Chicago police policy and training on how to acquire and execute search warrants."

You think?

"The investigation also produced nearly 100 allegations of misconduct stemming from the actions of more than a dozen officers, a COPA spokesperson said. A report with full details of the investigation will be published after the city's police superintendent has finished a review and officers have been served with resulting charges."

Why has it taken 16 months?  Had it been the other way around, civilians would have been immediately arrested, jailed, and charged.  Why no equal treatment?

"The investigation documents troubling details that were seen on police bodycam video first obtained by CBS Chicago in December. As officers entered Young's home on February 21, 2019, she was changing out of her clothes and was immediately handcuffed while naked. An officer attempted to cover her with a jacket, then covered her more fully with a blanket, a COPA spokesperson said, but Young remained handcuffed for nearly 10 minutes before she was allowed to get dressed, then was handcuffed again, COPA found. In total, she was handcuffed for nearly 17 minutes.

Clearly, how the jackbooted bastards get their cookies off.

"The video shows Young telling officers over and over, "You've got the wrong house." "The raid of Ms. Young's home was truly painful to watch," said COPA Chief Administrator Sydney Roberts. "Given the significance of this investigation, COPA assigned this case to a uniquely constructed 10 member team to evaluate the critical Fourth Amendment issues raised in this complaint. While we cannot fully heal the pain Ms. Young experienced on that day and ever since, we hope that our investigation and recommendations will enable the healing process." Over the course of its investigation, COPA issued three letters to the Chicago Police Department highlighting concerns about its training and search warrant policies. In a statement Thursday, COPA urged Chicago police to afford equal attention to those concerns, along with the investigative findings and recommendations laid out in the report. Young told CBS Chicago on Thursday that she has been waiting for someone to be held accountable for the wrong raid on her apartment. "I am annoyed, you know, that it took as long as it did," she said. "It's hurtful."

No equal treatment.

Unbridled racist nazism.  CBS News reports:

"A former Georgia Deputy has pleaded guilty to possessing unregistered firearms after the FBI launched an investigation into an extremist group. FBI agents discovered 28-year-old Cody Richard Griggers wrote in a group text that he manufactured and acquired illegal firearms and also expressed views that were consistent with racially motivated violent extremism. Members in the group text, who called themselves "Shadow Moses" or "Shadmo," texted about militia-type prepping, including lengthy discussions of weapons, combat gear and survivalist techniques, according to court documents. In the group text, Griggers used racial and homophobic slurs and made frequent positive references to the Nazi Holocaust, the documents show. Griggers, who was a deputy with the Wilkinson County Sheriff's Office, also described using excessive force on a theft suspect. "Oh, got wrapped up in my AR and forgot to tell y'all that I beat the shit out of a n***** Saturday," he wrote. He said after the suspect tried to steal from a local gun store, he beat him. He described the beating as "sweet stress relief." Griggers also stated that he intended to charge Black people with felonies in order to keep them from voting: "It's a sign of beautiful things to come. Also I'm going to charge them with whatever felonies I can to take away their ability to vote." The former deputy also spoke extensively about making suppressors and fully automatic weapons as well as about a theoretical civil war and killing liberal politicians. He said he would use his position in law enforcement to see if his department would be "siding with the enemy or not," and to get firearms. "I want to get [law enforcement] only stuff like flashbangs and entry charges and say I used them in training when I pocketed them," Griggers said. "Yeah I'll pay big money for bang [and] boom," wrote one of the group members, Grey Zamudio, a member of a California-based online group called Defend East County, according to the documents. "I'm ready to terrorize."

Raw nazism.

"The group chat was found after the FBI had received warrants to search a cellphone belonging to Zamudio, who was the subject of an FBI San Diego investigation. Zamudio had written several Facebook, posts stating: "The only good liberal is a dead liberal," "I'm ready to die, I welcome Valhalla," and "It's up to vigilantie militia to crush the liberal terrorists [sic]." He also posted several videos of guns that FBI San Diego verified were not registered to him. Zamudio was in regular contact was Griggers and the other individuals in the "Shadow Moses" group chat found on his phone, which was searched in August 2020. Agents searched Griggers' residence in November 2020 and also searched his Wilkinson County Sheriff's Office duty vehicle, where they found multiple firearms, including a machine gun with an obliterated serial number that was not issued to Griggers. He was not allowed to have the weapon in his law enforcement car. Agents found 11 illegal firearms overall, including a short barrel shotgun at his home. The case was investigated by the FBI, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives and the Wilkinson County Sheriff's Office."

These national socialist, fascist, nazi bastards present an exigent threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties.  Traitors.

"This former law enforcement officer knew that he was breaking the law when he chose to possess a cache of unregistered weapons, silencers and a machine gun, keeping many of them in his duty vehicle," Acting U.S. Attorney Peter D. Leary said in a statement. "Coupled with his violent racially motivated extreme statements, the defendant has lost the privilege permanently of wearing the blue." "All law enforcement officers swear an oath to uphold the law and protect each and every citizen they serve," Chris Hacker, Special Agent in Charge of FBI Atlanta said in a statement. "Griggers clearly violated his oath with his egregious actions and has no place in law enforcement." Griggers faces a maximum 10 years in to be followed by three years of supervised release. He also faces a a maximum fine of $250,000. His sentencing is scheduled for July 6, and since there is no parole in the federal system he was detained at his pretrial hearing and remains in custody."

Precisely, where he belongs.

In follow-up to last week's edition of this publication, CBS News reports:

"Pasquotank County Sheriff Tommy Wooten on Thursday identified the seven deputies involved in the fatal arrest of Andrew Brown Jr., a Black man who was fatally shot last week as deputies attempted to serve drug-related search and arrest warrants at his North Carolina home. In a statement obtained by CBS affiliate WTKR, Wooten said four of those officers did not fire their weapons and have returned to active duty, while the three others who did open fire remain on administrative leave. Wooten identified the three deputies on leave as Investigator Daniel Meads, Deputy Sheriff Robert Morgan and Corporal Cpl. Aaron Lewellyn. The deputies who have been returned to duty are Lieutenant Steven Judd, Sergeant Michael Swindell, Sergeant Kenneth Bishop and Sergeant Joel Lunsford. "After reviewing the preliminary conclusions of the independent investigators conducting the internal review, and after carefully examining the body camera footage of the incident with my own staff, it's obvious that four of the deputies never fired their weapons and deserve to be reinstated to active duty," Wooten said in a statement. "More investigation is necessary into the three deputies who did fire their weapons, and they will remain on administrative leave pending completion of the internal investigation and/or the criminal investigation being conducted by the State Bureau of Investigation."

Here's the problem:

"The body camera video Wooten referenced in the statement has not been released publicly, although a judge's ruling this week allowed the sheriff's department to share the full footage with Brown's family, who were previously shown only a redacted clip. Brown's family and a district attorney have given different accounts of what the video shows. After seeing the redacted video clip on Monday, the family described the killing as an execution and said Brown had been trying to get away. One of the Brown family lawyers, Chantel Cherry-Lassiter, said the car was stationary when the shooting started. District Attorney Andrew Womble, who will review law enforcement findings in the case, called the statement "patently false" and gave a different picture of events during a court hearing on Wednesday. He said Brown's car was "in a stationary position" when deputies approached the car and began shouting commands. Womble said the car was still stationary when a law enforcement officer grabbed the door handle of the car, and was forced to release it when the car went in a reverse position. The car then stopped and again reversed, and "as it backs up it makes contact" with law enforcement, Womble said. The car was again stationary with deputies positioned around the car when it began moving forward "in the direction of law enforcement and makes contact with law enforcement," Womble said. That's when shots were fired, he said. The killing prompted nights of protests in Elizabeth City and calls for transparency over the police video, which the sheriff's office has said it's willing to release with a judge's approval. But a Pasquotank County judge on Monday granted Womble's request to keep the video secret at least until Womble announces his decision over whether to charge the officers involved, likely sometime in late May or early June. Ben Crump, a civil rights attorney who represents Brown's family, released the results of an independent autopsy Tuesday that found Brown was shot five times, including a "kill shot" to the back of the head. In a statement released after the judge's ruling Wednesday, Crump and other family attorneys said they are "deeply disappointed" in the judge's ruling and vowed to continue keeping pressure on the agencies involved. "In this modern civil rights crisis where we see Black people killed by the police everywhere we look, video evidence is the key to discerning the truth and getting well-deserved justice for victims of senseless murders," the statement said. "Just look at the murder of George Floyd – if the world had not seen that clear and disturbing footage, there might not have even been an ounce of accountability for those officers." In a statement released Wednesday, the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, which is investigating Brown's death, said the agency defers to the local authorities and the court to determine whether the footage should be released. "The SBI supports transparency to the greatest extent possible, as we think this serves the interests of the family, the local community, and North Carolina as a whole," the statement read. The FBI has also launched a civil rights investigation."

Without transparency, law enforcement cannot be trusted.  Too many lies.  Too many cover-ups.  Too much deception.  With rare exception, law enforcement protects and coddles its own.

No justice.

Too busy lining County coffers with bogus tickets?

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.  Forfeiture of liberty.  At the hands of outrageously corrupt and abusive government.

No longer.

Kansas teenager shot multiple times during wellness check.  No justice.  NBC News reports:

"An investigative report and previously unseen videos from the 2018 death of a Kansas teenager shot multiple times by police during a wellness check were released Thursday by the city of Overland Park — much-needed transparency, his family said, after more than three years of demanding that files in the case be made public. The redacted 500-page report, along with photos and videos of police dashcam footage and interviews after the shooting, have shed some light into why Overland Park police Officer Clayton Jenison said he fired his weapon 13 times as John Albers, 17, backed a minivan out of his family's garage. "I thought he was going to run me over, man," Jenison can be heard repeating in one video, as he sobbed and breathed heavily after the shooting."

Are you anything more than an incompetent boob, Officer?  Why the hell didn't you step out of the way?  ... Too damned stupid?

"But Albers' parents believe the files still don't explain the full story, and questioned Friday why there wasn't a scene diagram and reconstruction report of the shooting, and why although Jenison's training history was included, no performance reviews or more information about the officer's employment were available."

Could it be there is something to hide?

"This 'investigation' contains little information about the officer that fired his weapon 13 times or his performance as a police officer," Steve and Sheila Albers said in a statement. The shooting of Albers has remained in the spotlight in Kansas, a state where police records are largely kept under wraps, even after a case is closed. The FBI in September confirmed that it has opened a federal civil rights investigation into the police shooting; the review remains pending. One month after the Jan. 20, 2018, shooting, Johnson County District Attorney Steve Howe released some dashcam video when he announced that Jenison, who said he feared for his life, was justified and would not be charged. At the time, the police department did not have body-worn cameras."

Why are you protecting this son of a bitch, Counselor?  This piece of shit could have simply stepped out of the way.  Instead, he chose to execute him?  Police are simply incapable of dealing with mental health issues:

"The newly released files include social media posts and journal entries in which John Albers, a high school junior, expressed mental health struggles. Police were called to the Albers' home when a friend was concerned that he may have been intoxicated and feeling suicidal and had threatened to stab himself with a knife. "John may not have been perfect, but he was deeply loved," the Albers said in their statement. "He deserved an investigation that was competent, unbiased and backed by evidence. This was not an investigation, it was victim blaming."

What it remains is an egregious failure of law enforcement.

"The city of Overland Park, in its decision to make the files public, said it had received numerous requests for the report, but consistently denied them because the files had "sensitive personal information" and their release "can have a serious negative impact on future investigations."

What it sounds like is protection of an incompetent officer who gutlessly chose to kill.

"In January, NBC affiliate KSHB in Kansas City, Missouri, sued the city for the release of the investigative files related to the case. The city at the time sought dismissal of the lawsuit, which remains pending. But in a surprise move this week, the city said it would release a redacted report and some evidence. "As a result of this ongoing discussion, misinformation has been circulated resulting in a serious erosion of public trust over this period of time," the city said in a statement, adding that the withholding of the report "has become an obstacle to restoring the community's trust and confidence in the City of Overland Park, its officials, and the Overland Park Police Department."

For damned good reason.

"Neither the police department nor the Johnson County District Attorney's Office immediately responded to requests for comment about how the Albers characterized the investigation, which was handled by the Johnson County Officer Involved Shooting Investigation Team. Sean Reilly, a spokesman for the city, said Friday that a 3D scan of the crime scene is being retained by Johnson County's crime lab. "Our sympathy goes out to the family and we respect their perspective," Reilly wrote in an email. "However, the city concurs with the district attorney that the officer reasonably feared for his life and it was a lawful use of force."

What it looks like is they're protecting the officer.

"Albers' family has long questioned the police's narrative of the night the teen was killed."

For damned good reason.  None of this adds up.  None of it.

Get this.  It's pathetic:

"Just before dusk, Albers was home alone while his family went out for dinner. That's when a concerned friend contacted police for a welfare check, according to a federal complaint filed by the family against the city and Jenison. Albers was known to police because of past domestic incidents, and, according to the complaint, police knew he "potentially had mental health problems." Dashcam videos and a neighbor's security camera showed Jenison and another officer arriving at the home. They first spoke for a few minutes outside and did not knock on the front door or identify themselves. Eventually, the family's garage door swung open, and Jenison unholstered his weapon and moved toward the door as the minivan, which Albers was driving, began to back out slowly and in a straight line. Jenison reacted, aiming his weapon and yelling, "Stop, stop, stop." Jenison, who was standing to the right of the van, fired twice toward Albers; the family's complaint contended that one or both of the bullets struck the teenager, "incapacitating him and rendering him unable to control the minivan." The car stopped but then speeded up in reverse, making a U-turn in the driveway and backing up. Jenison fired 11 more shots, and the minivan pulled forward, past another police car that had just approached, and coasted in neutral into the driveway of a home across the street, according to the report and dashcam video. The minivan that John Albers was driving came to a stop in front of a home in Overland Park, Kansas, on Jan. 20, 2018."

No more than an execution:

"An autopsy report later showed that six bullets had struck Albers: in the head, the upper neck, the left shoulder, the right shoulder, the back torso and the lower lip. A toxicology report indicated that he had not been under the influence of drugs or alcohol. In interviews with investigators four days after the shooting, Jenison, who had been with the Overland Park Police Department for about two years, explained: "I unholstered my service weapon. I approached the garage door. The vehicle started backing out. I told him to stop. He didn't listen to my commands. I shot."

Why did you open fire in the first place instead of just stepping out ot the way?  Why wasn't your cruiser parked behind the garage door, since you apparently knew he could have been in the garage?

Would have avoided the following, -- if the following is indeed true:

"The car then went in reverse and did a U-turn, and Jenison said he fired again as he believed the car was going to hit him."

Lack of proper training is clearly a problem:

"Jenison said dispatchers had warned officers arriving at the scene that Albers had been cutting himself and posted on social media that he had threatened to harm himself. The officer added that he was new to that patrol area and couldn't remember if he had ever been to that home. He said that he took cover outside of the home because "I don't know if he's self-harm or if he also has homicidal tendencies." "To protect me, I move closer to the house, so that if he comes out of the garage or front door I can control the situation."

You sure did, Officer.  You killed the kid.  Worried more about yourself and your personal safety than a 17-year-old kid with mental issues.  Called cowardice.  ... Especially, in view of the following:

"Sheila Albers said Friday there was no evidence to show that her son was homicidal or that officers should have gone in believing her son would commit violence against them."

Worse?  The district attorney has bought the bullshit 'shoot first, ask questions later' f--ked up mentality embraced by gutless law enforcement all across our formerly great country:

"Howe, the district attorney, said in 2018 that he decided not to charge Jenison because "these are fluid and instantaneous decisions that a law enforcement officer must make, which makes the job so difficult."

Counselor, you gutlessly protect and coddle the criminal jackbooted bastards in blue.  ... Hear the rumble?  An unwanted, dreaded second American revolution catastrophically looms.  Yet, clueless bastards like you, Mr. DA, continue to do nothing to bring these criminals in blue to justice.

Here is the problem as well-expressed by an astute former officer:

"James Nolan, a professor and chair of sociology at West Virginia University, who is a former police officer in Wilmington, Delaware, said this case highlights a police mindset that automatically assumes someone is dangerous. "Seeing things the wrong way can create great harm, even though the intentions are good," Nolan said. "That's why all around this country this is going on and officers are making these great errors. Suddenly, a car becomes a deadly weapon even if the person is only trying to get away." "People are not looking at the police and saying, 'I'm glad you're here. I'm depressed. Help me,'" Nolan said. "In fact, it's just the opposite."

That's right.  They murder their victims.  Egregiously failed law enforcement.

The following is nothing less than pathetic:

"The Albers ended up settling the case against Overland Park and Jenison in 2019 for $2.3 million, The Washington Post reported, although the city and Jenison did not admit liability and Overland Park said it settled to avoid the cost and length of a lawsuit. City officials confirmed in June that Jenison received $70,000 as part of a severance package when he agreed to resign, despite the fact the Johnson County district attorney had cleared him of wrongdoing."

Why did you reward the cowardice of this officer?  Worse, you bastards refused to hold him criminally accountable.  The 'settlement' is so low it will never get the attention of taxpayers.  Was that the intent?

"The city said the agreement was "in the best interest of the community" and could prevent Jenison from potentially fighting for reinstatement because there was "no just cause to terminate" him and avoid a costly lawsuit. Officials also said Overland Park Police Chief Frank Donchez never communicated with Jenison about the agreement nor encouraged him to enter into it."

Didn't have to.  ... How things work in a de facto fascist police-state, -- or, more accurately, don't.  The settlement was not in the best interest of the community itself.  It was in the best interest of the gutless officer, department, and the city.  No liability admitted.  No responsibility taken.  No justice.  Worse, what's to prevent this officer from seeking and attaining employment with another department becoming someone else's problem?

The corruption doesn't end with the above.  Get this:

"In March, Sheila Albers filed a complaint against Donchez to a governor-appointed state commission that oversees law enforcement training in Kansas. She said Donchez made false statements in reporting how Jenison left the force when he called the officer's departure from the department a "voluntary resignation under ordinary circumstances and for personal reasons." The city said "we will cooperate fully with any investigation into the matter." Neither Donchez nor Jenison could immediately be reached for comment Friday. The Kansas Commission on Peace Officers' Standards and Training has said it can't confirm or deny an investigation."

Clearly, no transparency.  Precisely, why law enforcement has zero credibility.  Cannot be trusted.  An 'ongoing investigation,' no excuse.

"Nolan said police agencies and states must work toward reforms that allow more public scrutiny of complaints against officers and access to internal files so that communities can better trust their local law enforcement."

You think?  There is no trust.  Nor can there be when there is no transparency.  Law enforcement continues to do all it can to protect and coddle criminal officers.

Here's the problem:

"Kansas' public open records law allows police departments and county prosecutors to decide when to release information — a practice supported by some officials who believe releasing names and other details can affect a case if it goes to trial."

How can the truth ever negatively affect justice?  How is it a shyster defense lawyer can get a corrupt, abusive cop off the hook vis a vis transparency?  How?  No more than deliberate perversion of law and U.S. Constitution that a judge, prosecutors, and defense counsel should never, ever tolerate.

"But, Nolan said, "the more information you put out there is a sign you want to be transparent. That's how you can build cooperation with the community instead of conflict."

Exactly, right.

Could it be law enforcement is beginning to get the message?  NBC News reports:

"A Texas deputy seen in a video punching a teenager outside a convenience store was fired for violating several department policies, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office announced. Former Deputy Bert Dillow was initially placed on administrative duty after he was accused of punching and cursing at the teen during a March 26 incident. A video of the altercation was posted last week on the Facebook page of the immigrant civil rights group, FIEL Houston. In the footage, Dillow asks the teen, identified by KTRK-TV as high school sophomore Carlos Rodriguez, for his identification. After Rodriguez hands it over, Dillow motions for him to come closer. Rodriguez walks toward Dillow and then appears to take a step away from him. "Don't run from me, boy. I'll beat your f------ a-- right here," Dillow says as he grabs Rodriguez by the shirt. "Turn around and put your hands behind your back before I beat the s--- out of you." "Don't be f------ stupid," Dillow yells. When Rodriguez appears to pull his hand away, Dillow punches him in the face, causing the teen to fall to the ground. Dillow appears to punch Rodriguez several more times before handcuffing him. "All I was gonna do is talk to you, but now you're f-----," Dillow says."

Jackbooted piece of shit unfit to wear the uniform.  Belongs in prison.

"The sheriff's office launched an investigation into the incident on March 29, a press release stated. Dillow was fired Wednesday after it was determined that he violated several of the department's policies including use of force. He had been with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office since September 2018, the department's press release said. News of Dillow's firing came the same day the sheriff's office announced that another deputy, Eric D. Sanchez, was terminated for also violating department policies. Sanchez's firing stems from a February incident in which he was seen on video threatening to kill a driver and pulling out his gun, according to KTRK-TV. The driver, George Dickerson, told the outlet that he had merged onto a freeway and got caught in a funeral procession. Dickerson said he moved into another lane that had two motorcycle officers. "I really just wanted to get in front of that car, so I did that," Dickerson said. "The cop in the front slowed down, so I couldn't go around." Dickerson said the officer behind him drove up and told him to stop and then got back behind Dickerson's vehicle. Before he could stop, Dickerson said the officer in front slammed on the brakes. So Dickerson hit his brakes, as well as the officer behind him. Dickerson's co-worker, who was also in the car, began filming as Sanchez approached their vehicle. In the footage, Sanchez is heard saying, "I'll f------ kill you." The video also shows the deputy with his gun drawn. Like Dillow, Sanchez was initially placed on administrative duty. He was fired on April 8 for violating several policies including use of a firearm and traffic enforcement, the sheriff's office press release states. He had been with the department since August 2016. Both cases are being sent to the Harris County District Attorney’s Office to determine if criminal charges are appropriate."

Why are incompetent, violent officers tolerated by their departments?  The Associated Press reports:

"The white police officer who shot Jacob Blake in Wisconsin last summer was suspended for three days this year because his service weapon was stolen just weeks after the shooting that left the Black man partially paralyzed."

How about that?  Worse?  Get this:

"Officials waited seven months to investigate and the weapon is still missing, WISN-TV reported."

Couldn't be, could it?  LOL.

"Kenosha Police Officer Rusten Sheskey reported on Sept. 15 that his Glock 17 service weapon had been stolen that day, apparently from inside his girlfriend’s car, Kenosha Police Lt. Joseph Nosalik told the TV station. That was a loaner weapon Sheskey was given after the Wisconsin Department of Justice investigators seized the one used to shoot Blake on Aug. 23. The investigation into the theft did not begin until April, seven months it happened, and three months after Kenosha County District Attorney Michael Graveley announced that he was not seeking criminal charges against Sheskey in the Blake shooting."

Most considerate, no?  LOL.

Get this:

"The Kenosha police chief, Daniel Miskinis, had all the information about the theft but waited to see what the charging decision would be, Nosalik told WISN-TV. After Sheskey returned to work on March 31, Nosalik said the chief told him to begin the investigation into the gun theft. Sheskey told investigators he regularly left the weapon in his girlfriend’s locked vehicle, according to a memo from Nosalik to Kenosha Police senior management, WISN reported. Sheskey said he had secure locations for firearms at his Kenosha home, but that he moved after receiving death threats and “did not have an opportunity to provide a safe location inside the home in which he was now living in,” Nosalik wrote. “Sheskey did say that he believed that the night the firearm was stolen, the glovebox had been locked, as this had become a common practice,” the memo said. But his girlfriend was “unsure if she locked the vehicle after leaving,” an officer wrote in the Racine police report on the theft. Nosalik recommended on April 14 that Sheskey be suspended without pay for the policy violation. Sheskey accepted the three-day suspension on April 15."

Jesus Christ.  No justice for this jackbooted thug in blue.  None.

Get this:

“I did not get the feeling that this was a lackadaisical officer sitting in my office thinking that this was no big deal,” Nosalik said. “To him it was a very big deal.”

That right?  LOL.

"Sheskey shot Blake seven times after he and two other Kenosha officers tried to arrest Blake on an outstanding warrant. A pocketknife fell from Blake’s pants during a scuffle. He said he picked it up before heading to a vehicle to drive away with two of his children in the back seat. He said he was prepared to surrender once he put the knife in the vehicle. Sheskey told investigators that he feared for his own safety."

Gutless, lying piece of shit.

"The shooting happened three months after George Floyd was killed by former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin, who was convicted of murder and manslaughter charges."

Time to smarten up.  NPR reports:

"A federal judge has ordered police in Columbus, Ohio, to stop using force including tear gas, pepper spray and rubber bullets against nonviolent protesters, ruling that officers ran "amok" during last summer's protests of the murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis."

Why haven't these sons of bitches been arrested, jailed, and charged?

"Judge Algenon Marbley of the Southern District of Ohio described the actions of the Columbus police as "the sad tale of officers, clothed with the awesome power of the state, run amok."

Why haven't these criminals in blue been brought to justice?

"He opened his 88-page opinion with a quote from Martin Luther King Jr.: "But somewhere I read of the freedom of assembly. Somewhere I read of the freedom of speech. Somewhere I read of the freedom of press. Somewhere I read that the greatness of America is the right to protest for rights." Marbley sided with the 26 plaintiffs who protested last summer, ruling that "unfortunately, some of the members of the Columbus Police Department had no regard for the rights secured by this bedrock principle of American democracy." Columbus police used force "indiscriminately" and without provocation during the widespread protests last May and June, he wrote. In addition to alleging extreme nonlethal tactics used by police on otherwise nonviolent protesters, the lawsuit also accused police of collective punishment — responding to a single protester "who threw a water bottle, harassed or taunted an officer" by indiscriminately pepper-spraying or tear-gassing the whole group, according to Marbley. "What is more, [officers] sometimes failed to give audible warnings or adequate time to disperse before resorting to less-lethal force," the judge wrote. One of the plaintiffs was struck by a projectile at the same time police ordered protesters to disperse, video shows, according to the injunction. "In other words, there was no time for protesters to react," Marbley said. A 31-year-old plaintiff's knee was shattered "into many little pieces" and he was unable to walk for five months, according to the judge's order. The man still cannot walk for more than a half-mile without "significant pain." "Multiple witnesses testified to their physical and emotional injuries suffered at the hands of CPD officers while exercising their fundamental rights to assemble and protest" last year, the judge wrote. According to the injunction, Columbus officers are banned from using those methods of "non-lethal force" against nonviolent protesters including those who are chanting, verbally confronting police and occupying streets. That includes body slams, flash-bang grenades, rubber bullets, batons and shoving."

Where's the District Attorney?  In bed with these criminals in blue?  Why haven't they been criminally prosecuted for the violence they inflicted on peaceful protesters?

Legalized murder.  Where were the body cams?  Where?  NBC News reports:

"Police fired 24 shots at a handcuffed man. Why didn't they turn on their body cameras? The case of Ariane McCree illustrates the patchwork nature of police body camera policies around the country. 28-year-old Ariane McCree was fatally shot by officers while handcuffed in a South Carolina Walmart parking lot in November of 2019. It has been almost a year and a half since Ariane McCree was shot dead by police in a Walmart parking lot, handcuffed and in possession of a gun, but his family still has a host of unanswered questions. McCree, 28, had raced out of the Walmart in Chester, South Carolina, a small town an hour north of Columbia, after he was placed in handcuffs for allegedly stealing a $45 lock in November 2019, police said. But exactly what happened next remains unclear in part because the responding officers didn’t activate their body cameras until after McCree, a Black father and former high school football star, was gunned down in a hail of police bullets."

An execution by the criminal jackbooted bastards in blue.

“Body cameras have been hailed as a key tool in enhancing transparency in policing and providing crucial information in use-of-force incidents. The McCree case, along with the recent deadly police shootings of Daunte Wright, Adam Toledo and Ma’Khia Bryant highlight the importance of body camera video for transparency. Of the more than 12,000 local police departments around the country, roughly half have body cameras, but having body cameras doesn’t mean they’ll be used properly."

They turn them off, or leave them off, to cover their sorry asses.

"Experts say police departments need to implement three basic rules in order for the cameras to be effective: tell officers specifically when to hit record, ensure they announce they are filming, and outline clear consequences for when the rules are broken. But many of the nation’s major police departments don’t follow these basic guidelines. Examining the body camera policies of 28 large police departments in a geographically representative array of U.S. states, along with the policy in Chester, NBC News found 45 percent gave specific instructions for when officers should start recording. Roughly 41 percent required officers to announce they’re recording. And only 34 percent clearly stated there are consequences for not recording. “The cameras aren’t there just to be there,” said Danny Murphy, the deputy commissioner of compliance for the Baltimore Police Department. “They’re meant to record interactions to foster accountability and public trust. And departments are setting themselves up for failure if they don't have a real policy.”

They're intentionally covering their asses.

"Murphy knows this firsthand. He was previously assigned to revamp the New Orleans Police Department after a Department of Justice investigation found a wide range of problems within it. With Murphy’s oversight, the department installed a raft of new policies and procedures, including new guidelines on the use of body cameras. New Orleans police began matching data from the body cameras with officers’ incident reports, checking the accuracy of how police interactions with the public were documented. Body camera footage also became part of the police department’s employee review process. Murphy said the changes led to a sharp increase in officers following proper body camera procedures. Use-of-force complaints plunged by 60 percent – from 45 to 18 – between 2014 and 2018, according to Murphy."

Imagine that.  Couldn't be, could it?  LOL.

“Body cameras are not a panacea,” he said. “But they are an important foundation for reform. Having the cameras is one thing. Ensuring you're turning on the camera is an essential next step. But then there needs to be oversight and accountability of how we're performing.” Murphy began working for the Baltimore Police Department in April 2019 as part of a consent decree to help reform the agency after a Justice Department investigation found the agency was engaging in a pattern of unlawful conduct targeting the Black community in violation of both the Constitution and federal anti-discrimination laws. The new Baltimore body camera policy requires officers to turn them on as soon as possible when responding to an incident. “In a non-emergency call, our officers are supposed to activate the camera before departing the vehicle to capture that entire incident,” Murphy said. “In an emergency call, we're turning it on the moment that we get the call, whether we have one minute to the scene or five more minutes to the scene.” That is not what happened in the McCree case. He arrived at the Walmart in Chester before 9 a.m. on Nov. 23, 2019, according to police. McCree picked up the $45.87 combination door handle-lock and walked out of the store without paying, telling a cashier to “put it on his tab,” police said. He returned to the store a couple of hours later and approached an off-duty police officer he knew who was working as a Walmart security guard. McCree asked how much the door handle-lock cost but was soon handcuffed and led to the store’s loss prevention office, according to state investigators. Surveillance footage obtained by NBC News shows McCree charging at a different off-duty officer who was working security, identified as Sgt. Nicholas Harris, then running to the parking lot. Harris chased after McCree, but lost him outside the store. There are conflicting reports as to what happened next. According to a report by the State Law Enforcement Division, which investigated the shooting, McCree, handcuffed behind his back, ran to his car to get a gun. Some witnesses said he fired it. Others said they never saw him carrying a gun."

Handcuffed behind his back, -- he's a threat with a gun?  Makes no sense.  Nor does the following:

"The report says Harris told investigators that he found McCree across the parking by a Taco Bell, where McCree head-butted him and then ran off. Harris told investigators he located McCree again, but the handcuffed man was now armed, according to the report. Harris told investigators he locked eyes with McCree and could see "he had full intentions of killing me." Harris fired several shots, then hid behind a car and called for help, stating he was out of ammunition."

McCree, with his hands cuffed behind his back?  Sounds like bullshit not-so-cleverly designed to protect the sorry ass of the jackbooted bastards.

"About 11:30 a.m., a responding on-duty police officer, Justin Baker, arrived at the Walmart parking lot. As he pulled up toward the front of the store, he heard a call of “shots fired” over the police radio, according to the state investigation. Baker exited his vehicle and walked through the parking lot with his gun drawn. McCree appeared from between two cars and Baker opened fire, the report said. Baker then approached McCree and pulled a silver pistol from underneath the front of the mortally-wounded man’s body, it said."

Did he plant it?

"State investigators would later determine that Baker fired 13 rounds and Harris 11. No shell casings from McCree’s gun were found."

Again, was that the case because the gun had been planted?

"Baker would go on to tell investigators that McCree had pointed a gun at him and refused to comply with an order to drop his weapon. But there was no way to verify that account – Baker switched on his body camera only after McCree was struck down by police bullets."

In order to cover the ass of murderous law enforcement?

"There is, however, some footage from Baker's body camera of the moments leading up to McCree’s death. Outfitted with an auto-record feature, his body camera was set to save the previous two minutes of footage - without sound - once he hit record. The Chester Police Department released the body camera footage last June as the case was receiving renewed attention in the wake of George Floyd's death while in the custody of Minneapolis police. But for many, including the McCree family, the distant footage with no audio raised more questions than answers. Eric Piza, a professor at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York, reviewed the body camera footage of McCree’s shooting for NBC News. “What stood out to me first and foremost was actually how little I learned about the situation from watching the video,” said Piza, who specializes in analyzing what leads to police use-of-force encounters. “We don't hear any of the police officer orders or we have no idea if he was ordered to stop and if he was ordered to drop his gun. We have no idea if the officer even saw a gun,” he added. “All of these things are missing in our review of this incident.”

Fascinating, isn't it?

South Carolina’s attorney general declined to press charges against any of the officers, citing self-defense and the defense of others."

That right?  How do you know that when there is no video to support what these apparently lying officers are claiming?

"The U.S. attorney is investigating the case. Baker is no longer employed by the department, though police officials declined to say why. Neither Baker nor Harris responded to requests for comment. Two other off-duty officers who worked security with Harris at Walmart that day also did not respond to requests for comment. Chester’s then-Police Chief Eric Williams was suspended in January and an interim chief was named after state investigators opened a probe into the department's finances, according to the Rock Hill Herald. Before his suspension, Williams declined to comment on the McCree case to NBC News. He previously defended the officers involved. “When someone is pointing a firearm at you and walking toward you, I don't know of a whole lot of de-escalation that you can insert in that situation but to respond," Williams said last June."

'Shoot first, ask questions later,' right, you gutless son of a bitch?

"The city of Chester did not respond to a request for comment. NBC News reviewed the police department's body camera policy last September, but it's not clear whether it has been updated. The Chester Police Department did not respond to requests for comment. Williams also did not respond to a request for comment. The McCree family, meanwhile, has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the police department. In an interview with NBC News, McCree’s brother Michael called for strict body camera policies nationwide. “A lot of people's lives are at stake,” Michael McCree said. “And people are taken advantage of because of the cameras not rolling.”

Law enforcement in Washington, D.C. has a problem, a big problem.  ABC News reports:

"A police officer has been fired and three others could face charges and termination after they were allegedly caught on body-camera footage drag racing and crashing two squad cars on a narrow residential street in Washington, D.C., according to officials."

How about that?  Don't they properly vet these hopelessly ignorant sons of bitches?

"Acting Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Chief Robert Contee called the drag-racing incident "embarrassing" during a news conference on Monday, where he also announced a summer crime prevention initiative."

'Embarrassing?"  Blind leading the blind.  They could have killed someone.  Wake up.

"Obviously, those types of things are unacceptable," Contee said when reporters asked him for an update on the incident. "It's certainly something that I do not tolerate as the chief of the Metropolitan Police Department." Contee authorized the release on Monday of footage of the April 22 episode taken by one of the officer's body cameras. An image from police body camera released by the Washington D.C. Police Department on their official Youtube channel shows the aftermath of a traffic incident involving MPD cruisers occupied by police officers on the 1500 block of Anacostia Ave., NE , Washington, D.C., April 22, 2021. The footage shows two officers parked on a narrow two-lane street about 5:15 p.m. near the Kenilworth Park & Aquatic Gardens in the northeast section of the city when suddenly they speed off down the road. At one point, a police SUV cruiser can be seen pulling up along the passenger side of the squad car and swerving into the vehicle, causing both cars to crash. The footage shows the airbags inside one of the vehicles deploying and the windshield crack as the squad car comes to a stop and audio from the body-camera video activates. The officer whose body camera recorded the footage gets out of the vehicle, apparently shaken. Someone asks the officer if he was OK and he responds saying, 'Yeah, I'm good." The video also captured the two wrecked police cars facing in the opposite directions and both up on the sidewalk. The two cars each contained two officers, according to officials. All four officers suffered minor injuries and were treated at a hospital, officials said. The two vehicles that collided sustained major damage, officials said."

Will the bastards be forced to replace the vehicles?  Why should taxpayers be looted to pay for repairs, and/or replacement?

"The names of the officers were not released."

Why is their identity being protected?  The public has a right to know the identity of these idiots whose salaries and benefits are paid for by taxpayers.

"Contee said on Monday that a probationary officer involved in the incident was fired last week."

Why wasn't he immediately arrested, jailed, and charged as any civilian would have been?  Why special treatment?

"He said an internal affairs investigation of the other three officers is ongoing and that they could face charges as well as termination."

Again, why weren't they immediately arrested, jailed, and charged as any civilian would have been?  Why special treatment accorded these bastards?

The following is no more than egregious, self-serving foot dragging:

"He said the results of the internal probe will be turned over to the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia, who will decide what steps to take next and "if there will be any charges that come out of this investigation."

Think LAPD jackbooted bastards in blue will ever smarten up?  CBS News reports:

"Two women are suing the Los Angeles Police Department after they say officers wrongfully targeted them during a "terrifying and unnecessary" traffic stop last year. Shibani Balsaver and Sheilanee Sen rented a U-Haul to move from one apartment to another when they were pulled over by L.A. police.  Officers, apparently believing the truck was stolen, handcuffed the women and held them on the ground at gunpoint — with the incident being captured on video. "It was terrifying," Sen told CBS Los Angeles: "It was probably the most afraid I've been in my life." Sen, who works in community development, was helping Balsaver, a film producer, move into a new apartment in February 2020. They rented a U-Haul truck to transport Balsaver's belongings from Hollywood to Los Feliz — about a five-minute drive. In a blog post chronicling the incident, Balsaver said a police vehicle was following her most of the drive between her old and new apartments, but she thought little of it, and was confused when it followed her to her new block."

Appears these jackbooted bastards were ready to engage in combat:

"The women said at least 10 officers arrived with their guns drawn — and they could hear a helicopter overhead. Balsaver described the panic she felt as more cop cars arrived, saying that no one came to the window of the truck to explain what was happening, as a handful of police cars arrived at the scene. The women say police ordered them to exit the vehicle with their hands behind their heads. They say officers then slammed them to the ground, and they were unable to properly hear commands due to the loud helicopter. Sen's boyfriend, Roger, arrived at the apartment ahead of the women and filmed the interaction, after being told by police to "stand back." "I am grateful that this will not go unnoticed, yet all I can I think is I am going to die alone on camera," Balsaver wrote. Describing the gun pointed at her, Balsaver wrote, "This is a gun that requires a long body strap just to hold it. This is a gun that shouldn't be meant for anyone, certainly not for Shona and me." "I feel a knee push down hard into my back. Another forces my head down," she continued. "They grab my right hand, twist my arm behind me, and wrap a cuff around my hand. I lift my left and they do the same."

Clearly, how these criminal jackbooted bastards get their cookies off abusing innocent civilians.

"The women said they were not told why they were pulled over until after they were handcuffed. Balsaver told an officer that a receipt for the truck, rented earlier that morning, was in her bag."

Insult to injury?  Aryan arrogance of these nazi storm troopers at its very worst:

"Balsaver said that, after she proved her innocence with the receipt, officers joked and teased her about the incident, telling her to "demand free U-Haul services for a year."

Should have immediately advised the jackbooted fascist bastards to go f--k themselves.

Get this.  Truly pathetic.  Gross incompetence:

"Balsaver  said the LAPD told her that officers had not yet been trained to decipher between stolen and recovered vehicles in the department's "new" four-month-old system. U-Haul had reported the vehicle as recovered several weeks prior to the incident. Balsaver and Sen's attorney, Brian Olney, alleges the officers used "high-risk procedures" during a traffic stop that was not high risk and involved an alleged non-violent property crime. "Courts have made very clear, but the LAPD refuses to listen," he said. "They know what the law is, they're sworn to uphold it, but they made a deliberate decision to break it."

Sue the bastards, department, and city for every dime you can get.  When taxpayers get tired of financing this shit, change will occur.  If not?  ... Hear the rumble?  An unwanted, dreaded second American revolution catastrophically looms.  Too deaf to hear?  ... Or, too stupid.

"LAPD and U-Haul did not immediately respond to CBS News' inquiry."

Surprised?  Why? How do you defend the indefensible?  How?

Alleged murder by a jackbooted bastard in blue.  ABC News reports:

"A police officer in Virginia has been indicted on a murder charge in the shooting death of a man in a vehicle near a motel, a prosecutor said Tuesday. Bristol police Officer Jonathan Brown was released on a $25,000 bond after he turned himself in to the Virginia State Police on Tuesday, said Don Caldwell, Commonwealth’s Attorney for the City of Roanoke. “That’s the commonwealth’s recommendation,” Caldwell said of Brown's bond. “I do not consider him a flight risk or a danger to the community pending the trial.” Brown was indicted Monday by a Bristol Circuit Court grand jury on charges of murder, using a firearm in the commission of a felony and shooting into an occupied vehicle in the March 30 shooting death of Jonathen Kohler, 31, of Bristol, Tennessee."

Here's what happened:

"A Virginia State Police news release on Tuesday says Bristol police received a 911 call around 4:30 a.m. on March 30 from a motel occupant reporting shots being fired. Officers who responded to the call encountered Kohler in the driver’s seat of a 1994 Ford Mustang. “As officers were verbally engaged with Kohler, he backed up and then drove forward in an attempt to exit the parking lot, at which point one of the officers fired at Kohler’s vehicle,” the State Police statement says. In a news release on the day of the shooting, the State Police had said Koehler refused to exit his vehicle “despite repeated commands by the officers.” “He then put the Mustang into drive and sped towards one of the officers. The officer fired at the suspect vehicle as it came at him,” the March 30 release said. Koehler died at the scene. No officers were injured. Caldwell, who was appointed by a judge to prosecute the case, declined to discuss the evidence that his office presented to the grand jury. “I don’t believe in trying cases in the public eye,” he told The Associated Press. “The evidence will be presented during trial, and a trier of fact, either a judge or jury, will make a decision.”

Lack of transparency, -- horrendous.  Who is being protected?  Someone other than the defendant?  Department?  City?  Forget?  A prosecutor can get a grand jury to indict a rock.  The above account of what happened leaves many unanswered questions.  Doesn't add up.  Yet, someone got killed, allegedly by this officer.

Stranger yet?  Consider the following:

"An attorney for Brown, 31, of Piney Flats, Tennessee, didn't immediately return a phone call seeking comment. The Virginia State Police investigated the shooting at the request of Bristol's police chief and presented its findings to Caldwell's office. Brown is white, and so was Kohler, according to State Police spokeswoman Corinne Geller. Brown was suspended without pay on Tuesday pending the outcome of an internal affairs investigation that is expected to be completed in 10 days, according to a statement signed by Bristol Mayor Bill Hartley and City Manager Randall Eads. The officer previously was suspended with pay. “We do not condone, nor will we tolerate the unnecessary use of force by our police officers,” their statement says. “There is a time and a place for the use of force, and force must be used sparingly and within the bounds of the law.”

Lack of transparency is always a problem.  Leads to a lack of trust.

Nearly 1,000 killed by police in past year.  The Washington Post reports:

"985 people have been shot and killed by police in the past year.

"In 2015, The Washington Post began to log every fatal shooting by an on-duty police officer in the United States. In that time there have been more than 5,000 such shootings recorded by The Post. After Michael Brown, an unarmed Black man, was killed in 2014 by police in Ferguson, Mo., a Post investigation found that the FBI undercounted fatal police shootings by more than half. This is because reporting by police departments is voluntary and many departments fail to do so."

Why is it voluntary?

"The Post’s data relies primarily on news accounts, social media postings and police reports. Analysis of more than five years of data reveals that the number and circumstances of fatal shootings and the overall demographics of the victims have remained relatively constant. Despite the unpredictable events that lead to fatal shootings, police nationwide have shot and killed almost the same number of people annually — nearly 1,000 — since The Post began its project. Probability theory may offer an explanation. It holds that the quantity of rare events in huge populations tends to remain stable absent major societal changes, such as a fundamental shift in police culture or extreme restrictions on gun ownership. Although half of the people shot and killed by police are White, Black Americans are shot at a disproportionate rate. They account for less than 13 percent of the U.S. population, but are killed by police at more than twice the rate of White Americans. Hispanic Americans are also killed by police at a disproportionate rate. The rate at which black Americans are killed by police is more than twice as high as the rate for white Americans. An overwhelming majority of people shot and killed by police are male — over 95 percent. More than half the victims are between 20 and 40 years old.

"Police shootings have taken place in every state and have occurred more frequently in cities where populations are concentrated. States with the highest rates of shootings are New Mexico, Alaska and Oklahoma.

"The FBI and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention log fatal shootings by police, but officials acknowledge that their data is incomplete. Since 2015, The Post has documented more than twice as many fatal shootings by police as recorded on average annually. The Post’s database is updated regularly as fatal shootings are reported and as facts emerge about individual cases. The Post seeks to make the database as comprehensive as possible. To provide information about fatal police shootings since Jan. 1, 2015, send us an email at policeshootingsfeedback@washpost.com."

Has law enforcement lost its mind?  Get this.  NPR reports:

"NYPD canceled its contract with Boston Dynamics last week after its test run of the company's Spot robot sparked concerns of misuse of city funds and potential police abuse. After a public outcry, a robotic dog once hailed by the New York Police Department a high-tech crime-fighting sidekick is getting sent back to its owner. The police canceled a $94,000 contract with the robot's maker Boston Dynamics following a backlash tied to calls to cut the police budget and concerns of police militarization and abuses of force. The department introduced the public to the "Digidog" in December after acquiring the device in a test program. "This dog is going to save lives, protect people, and protect officers and that's our goal," NYPD Technical Assistance Response Unit Inspector Frank Digiacomo said in an interview with the local ABC station. The purpose of the Boston Dynamics "Spot" robot, an agile 70-pound hound able to climb stairs and survey hazardous areas, was to help officers better identify dangers at crime scenes and keep officers safe. Mayor Bill de Blasio is "glad the Digidog was put down," a spokesperson told ABC7. "It's creepy, alienating, and sends the wrong message to New Yorkers." In February, a viral video of the futuristic dog — seen patrolling a Bronx neighborhood after officers responded to a hostage situation — sparked controversy. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., who then called it a "robotic surveillance ground drone," praised activists in her district who pushed back on the tech to demand that police funds should instead go toward investments like school counseling. "When was the last time you saw next-generation, world class technology for education, healthcare, housing, etc consistently prioritized for underserved communities like this?" she tweeted. John Miller, NYPD's deputy commissioner for intelligence and counterterrorism, defended the department's use of the robot in an interview with The New York Times this week. The Digidog keeps officers out of harm's way, he said, and it's cheaper and more advanced than the robots the force has used in the past."

Raw insanity.

"Miller said that the department had previously sought to test the device until its contract was up this August. But plans changed, he said, after the robotic dog became a "target" in arguments over race and surveillance. The Times reported that the lease was cut short last week: "In response to a subpoena from City Councilman Ben Kallos and Council Speaker Corey Johnson requesting records related to the device, police officials said that a contract worth roughly $94,000 to lease the robotic dog from its maker, Boston Dynamics, had been terminated on April 22."

Outrageous waste of money.  No more than a play toy for out of control jackbooted bastards in blue.

"As Wired reported last month, Kallos has proposed a bill to ban the NYPD from using "weaponized" robots. That legislation would not prevent the deployment of devices like the Boston Dynamics Spot, which the company said buyers must agree to not use as a weapon."

Good luck.  Forget?  The criminal jackbooted motherf--kers do as they please.

"Law enforcement has used armed robots before, prompting concerns of potential misuses. In 2016, Dallas police officers used a "bomb robot" to remotely detonate an explosive in order to kill a sniper who killed five officers."

If these jackbooted bastards crave combat, need to join the military.

This bullshit is far from over:

"Although New York City has put its Digidog to rest, police departments in Massachusetts and Hawaii are also testing the device."

Some desperately needed change in the military.  The Associated Press reports:

"In a potentially significant shift in the debate over combating sexual assault in the military, the nation’s top general says he is dropping his opposition to a proposal to take decisions on sexual assault prosecution out of the hands of commanders. Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, stopped short of endorsing the changes recommended by an independent review panel. But in an interview with The Associated Press and CNN, Milley said he is now open to considering them because the problem of sexual assault in the military has persisted despite other efforts to solve it. “We’ve been at it for years, and we haven’t effectively moved the needle,” he said. “We have to. We must.” The comments by Milley, as arguably the most influential officer and as the senior military adviser to Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and to President Joe Biden, are likely to carry considerable weight among the service chiefs and add to momentum for the change. Austin, himself a former senior commander and former vice chief of the Army, has not publicly commented on the review commission’s proposal, but it is his creation and thus its recommendations are seen as especially weighty. Lawmakers are also stepping up pressure for the change. Milley said he would reserve judgment on the proposal to take prosecution authority on sexual assault cases away from commanders until the review commission has finished its work and its recommendations are fully debated within the military leadership. The review commission submitted its initial recommendations to Austin late last month. Officials have said they expect him to give service leaders about a month to review and respond. The review panel said that for certain special victims crimes, designated independent judge advocates reporting to a civilian-led office of the Chief Special Victim Prosecutor should decide two key legal questions: whether to charge someone and, ultimately, if that charge should go to a court martial. The crimes would include sexual assault, sexual harassment and, potentially, certain hate crimes. This goes against longstanding and vehement Pentagon opposition to such moves. “I was adamantly opposed to that for years,” Milley said, speaking during a military flight Sunday. “But I haven’t seen the needle move” — referring to a failure to reduce the number of reported sexual assaults. Indeed, in response to policy questions for his July 2019 Senate confirmation hearing, Milley wrote: “Commanders must retain the ability to hold all service members in their formation accountable for their actions. The authority to discipline service members, to include convening courts-martial, is an important tool that enables commanders to fulfill their responsibility to their people and to establish an appropriate culture where victims are treated with dignity and respect.” In his comments Sunday, Milley said he has shifted his thinking in part because he is concerned by indications of a lack of confidence by junior enlisted service members in the fairness of sexual assault case outcomes. He said this amounts to an erosion of confidence in the military chain of command. “That’s really bad for our military if that’s true, and survey and the evidence indicate it is true,” he said. “That’s a really bad situation if the enlisted force — the junior enlisted force — lacks confidence in their chain of command to be able to effectively deal with the issue of sexual assault.”

There are indeed a few Republicans determined to stand up against the insanity of the Trump nazi.  Liz Cheney is certainly one of them.  The Washington Post reports:

"Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) pushed back Monday against former president Donald Trump’s attempt to commandeer the term “Big Lie,” commonly used to refer to the false claims that the 2020 election was stolen from Trump, and accused him and those who perpetrate the falsehoods of “poisoning” democracy. Trump released a statement Monday morning asserting: “The Fraudulent Presidential Election of 2020 will be, from this day forth, known as THE BIG LIE!” The statement came as an oversight board for Facebook is expected to rule this week on whether to allow Trump back on the social media platform after he was suspended in the wake of the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol."

Why hasn't Trump been prosecuted for inciting the attack?  Why is this fascist son of a bitch receiving special treatment?

Cheney has certainly shown great courage:

"Cheney, who is in hot water among many of her Republican peers because of her unabashed criticism of Trump’s attempts to subvert the election results, immediately spoke out against him. “The 2020 presidential election was not stolen,” Cheney tweeted. “Anyone who claims it was is spreading THE BIG LIE, turning their back on the rule of law, and poisoning our democratic system.”

Indeed.  Uncommon Valor:

"Cheney was among the few House Republicans to vote to impeach Trump for inciting the riot at the Capitol. Some Republicans demanded she be stripped of her leadership post over it, but she beat back an initial challenge. Cheney is the third-highest-ranking Republican in the House."

Remarkable courage.  To stand tall against raw nazism.

"Cheney finds herself in an increasingly tenuous position inside her own party, which her father once helped lead as vice president."

The Republican Party desperately needs change.  Otherwise, remains doomed to extinction.  Needs to revert to its past conservative agenda rather than the national socialism, fascism, nazism currently embraced by Trump and his henchmen.  Fascism, nazism, national socialism defined as the pernicious blend of government, business, and religion. 'Justified' by perversion and bastardization of the latter.

"The handful of GOP leaders who also criticized Trump over his role in Jan. 6 attack and for spreading falsehoods about the election have since backpedaled from those remarks or, like Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), declined to address the issue again saying they are focused on the future."

They're gutless.  Should not be returned to office.  Time for elected officials to stand on principle, not party loyalty, fealty.

"House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) said in January that Trump “bears responsibility” for the attack, but he defended Trump’s response in a recent “Fox News Sunday” interview. At the House Republicans annual policy retreat last month, he also pointedly declined to say whether Cheney was still a “good fit” for the party’s leadership team."

Truly, gutless.  Unfit for office:

"The fading GOP establishment moves to support Cheney as Trump attacks and McCarthy keeps his distance.  “That’s a question for the conference,” McCarthy said, while also saying that anyone criticizing Trump over the Capitol riot, as Cheney had done, was “not being productive.”

What a crock of shit.  It's called the truth, Congressman.  Something you fascist bastards no longer embrace, clearly have no regard for.

"McCarthy, who was one of the 147 congressional Republicans who voted to contest the 2020 presidential election results, stood by Cheney earlier this year during the attempt to oust her from leadership but is not expected to do so again if a similar effort materializes."

This gutless piece of shit is all over the place vis a vis policy.  Wets his finger, holds it up to see which way the wind is blowing.

"There have been new calls for her to step down from her leadership role, and several House Republican aides said many are growing increasingly frustrated with her being so outspoken against Trump."

She's demonstrating sane leadership.  -- Something that the Republican Party desperately needs.

"One leadership aide added that they “wouldn’t be surprised” if a move against Cheney materializes at some point."

Such tactics will doom the GOP.

So will the following insane thinking demonstrated by narrow-minded politicians determined to support the Party no matter what:

“Trump is still a very active part of our party,” House Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) said in an Axios interview Friday about the tension between Cheney and McCarthy. “This idea that you just disregard President Trump is not where we are.” Scalise also voted to contest the 2020 presidential election results."

Cheney is doing the right thing in attempting to force the GOP to reject Trump's lies.  The Republican Party needs to divorce itself from the exigent threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties posed by Trump:

"Cheney’s critics within the party contend she is serving as a distraction by continuing to point out that Trump’s contention that the election was rigged or rife with fraud are false. These members argue she should be focused on uniting the party and emphasizing a message that the party can run on during the 2022 midterm elections."

That's simply not possible until Trump is held accountable for all the damage done to the country during his tenure.

The GOP, however, remains hopelessly clueless, doomed to irrelevance, then extinction if things do not change:

“Liz Cheney has promised she will campaign on impeaching Trump ‘every day of the week.’ Good luck with that, Liz!,” Rep. Lance Gooden (R-Tex.), who also voted to contest the election, tweeted on Saturday. “PREDICTION: she’ll be out of her GOP leadership role by month’s end!”

A raucous boot clicking, goose stepping, treasonous, treacherous, traitorous Seig Heil!,  Mr. Trump and his equally national socialist, fascist, nazi supporters in the GOP.

CBS News reports:

"House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy expressed frustration with House Republican Conference Chair Liz Cheney on Tuesday, saying he has heard from some GOP representatives who are concerned Cheney can't "carry out the message" ahead of the 2022 midterm elections."

What 'message' is that?  To continually lie like hell like the Trump nazi did during his four-year regime?

"McCarthy's comments are a sign of the escalating tension between the two, as Cheney has continued to criticize former President Donald Trump and his role in the January 6 attack on the Capitol while McCarthy has sought to downplay the event. Cheney was one of 10 House Republicans to vote to impeach Mr. Trump on a charge of incitement of insurrection in January. She fended off an effort by some conservatives to oust her from her leadership position in early February, with support from McCarthy. But McCarthy said in an interview with "Fox & Friends" on Tuesday that more Republican members were losing confidence in Cheney's ability to lead. "There's no concern about how she voted on impeachment. That decision has been made," McCarthy said. "I have heard from members concerned about her ability to carry out the job as conference chair, to carry out the message."

These are not conservatives.  They're national socialists, fascists, nazis.  Just like the Trump nazi himself.  Continue to support this piece of human excrement and the GOP will pay the price, -- likely, extinction.

Uncommon Valor:

"Cheney has repeatedly pushed back against Mr. Trump's false claim that the election was stolen. Cheney said Monday that Republicans could not accept the "poison" of this claim or "whitewash" the January 6 attack by Mr. Trump's supporters, CNN reported. "We can't embrace the notion the election is stolen. It's a poison in the bloodstream of our democracy," Cheney said in remarks at a conference in Georgia. "We can't whitewash what happened on January 6 or perpetuate Trump's big lie. It is a threat to democracy. What he did on January 6 is a line that cannot be crossed."

That's right.  Why hasn't Trump been arrested, jailed, and charged for inciting insurrection January 6?  Why has he been protected and coddled?

"McCarthy was critical of Mr. Trump in the immediate aftermath of the attack on January 6, saying on January 13 that the former president bore "responsibility" for the incident and arguing in favor of censuring him. But McCarthy has since backtracked his comments and sought to tie himself closer to Mr. Trump. Republicans have the chance to retake the House in 2022, with McCarthy in line to become speaker. As Mr. Trump is still very popular among GOP voters, some congressional Republicans have continued to defend the president and his falsehoods about the election to ensure their support."

Sadly, called aggressive stupidity.

Worse?  Get this:

"We all need to be working as one if we're able to win the majority. Remember, majorities are not given, they are earned. And that's about the message about going forward," McCarthy said on Tuesday morning."

Unless and until you resolve the Trump issue, you stand little chance.  Biden's approval rating is remarkably higher than expected.  He seems quite adept at getting his legislation past stonewalling Republicans in both the House and Senate.  Continue to embrace Trump and his lies, guess what?  You'll likely lose.

"A spokesperson for Cheney responded to McCarthy's comments in the "Fox & Friends" interview, saying that Cheney would not promote falsehoods about the election or downplay the attack on the Capitol. "This is about whether the Republican Party is going to perpetuate lies about the 2020 election and attempt to whitewash what happened on January 6. Liz will not do that. That is the issue," spokesperson Jeremy Adler said in a statement to CBS News."

Cheney continues to display Uncommon Valor.  Hat's off, to her.

The following is no surprise:

"GOP Senator Mitt Romney tweeted his support for Cheney on Tuesday, making him one of the few prominent Republicans willing to defend her publicly. "Every person of conscience draws a line beyond which they will not go: Liz Cheney refuses to lie. As one of my Republican Senate colleagues said to me following my impeachment vote: 'I wouldn't want to be a member of a group that punished someone for following their conscience,'" Romney, who was one of seven Republicans to vote to convict Mr. Trump in the Senate, wrote."

He's right.  Romney and Cheney are indeed two Republicans who stand on principle.  Certainly, are true conservatives, not national socialists, fascists, nazis as most of the rest of the Republican Party.

"Cheney has broken with McCarthy several times in recent months over Mr. Trump's role in the future of the Republican Party. She has disagreed with him about the scope of a commission to investigate the attack on the Capitol, arguing that it should be tightly focused on the events of January 6 instead of also looking at demonstrations over the summer protesting police brutality. Cheney also said at the House Republican policy conference last week that McCarthy and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell are the leaders of the party, not Mr. Trump."

NBC News reports:

"House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's office boosted the ongoing quarrel between House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., and House Republican Conference Chair Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., as the ongoing divide could put a dent in Republican efforts to take back the House next fall."

No question, could certainly happen.

"Word is out that House GOP Leaders are looking to push Rep. Liz Cheney from her post as House Republican Conference Chair — their most senior woman in GOP leadership — for a litany of very Republican reasons: she won’t lie, she isn’t humble enough, she’s like a girlfriend rooting for the wrong team, and more," Pelosi's office said in a blog posted to her website."

While Pelosi is often full of shit, on this matter, she's right on target.

"That comment comes as the divide between McCarthy and Cheney, the third-highest-ranking House Republican, appears to be reaching a boiling point following the Capitol riot. Cheney has refused to back down from her criticisms of former President Donald Trump, despite growing pressure from other Republicans. She was the highest-ranking Republican to vote to impeach Trump for his role in inciting the Jan. 6 riot and has been at odds with other members of House GOP leadership over embracing Trump and entertaining his election claims since then. She has repeatedly and forcefully rejected Trump's stolen election lie."

Only Republican in a leadership position to continue to do the right thing, that is, challenge the Trump nazi and his lies.

"Cheney's position has her at odds with McCarthy, who has tried to keep his conference aligned with the former president. After initially assigning Trump blame for the riot — though he voted hours after the attack to block the counting of some electoral votes for Joe Biden — McCarthy has worked to get back into the former president's good graces, including visiting Trump at his Mar-a-Lago club in Florida."

Remains insane like his fuhrer, the Trump nazi.  Places deference, fealty to Trump ahead of principle.  Gutless.  Not fit to be in a leadership position.

"Speaking with "Fox and Friends" on Tuesday, McCarthy said "there's no concern about" Cheney's impeachment vote from fellow House Republicans. "I have heard from members concerned about her ability to carry out the job as conference chair, to carry out the message. We all need to be working as one if we're able to win the majority," McCarthy said, adding, "I haven't heard members concerned about her vote on impeachment; it's more concerned about the job ability to do and what's our best step forward that we can all work together instead of attacking one another."

Until you remove the cancer of the Trump nazi from the GOP, you will lose.  Supporting Trump's endless lies guaranties ultimate defeat.

"A Cheney spokesperson, Jeremy Adler, said in a statement to NBC News following McCarthy's remarks: "This is about whether the Republican Party is going to perpetuate lies about the 2020 election and attempt to whitewash what happened on Jan 6." "Liz will not do that," Adler said. "That is the issue." Democrats currently own a slim 218-212 House majority over the GOP. With historical trends pointing against the party in power during a new president's first midterms, Republicans are confident they can retake the majority without much of a boost."

Precisely, why Democrats will likely continue to demand desperately needed accountability from the Trump nazi.  Why hasn't he been arrested, jailed, charged for inciting insurrection January 6?  Why special treatment not accorded the rest of the civilian population?

"The latest episode kicked off Monday after Cheney tweeted that anyone claiming the 2020 presidential election was stolen is "poisoning our democratic system," a direct response to a Trump statement from earlier in the day. Cheney also warned Monday the GOP should not "whitewash" the riot, telling a crowd of donors and scholars during an off-the-record interview with former House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., at the annual American Enterprise Institute retreat, "We can't embrace the notion the election is stolen." "It's a poison in the bloodstream of our democracy," Cheney said in remarks first reported by CNN. An aide familiar with the comments confirmed the accuracy of them to NBC News. "We can't whitewash what happened on Jan. 6 or perpetuate Trump's big lie. It is a threat to democracy. What he did on Jan. 6 is a line that cannot be crossed." While Cheney has emerged as Trump's most powerful House Republican critic, an attempt in February by Trump allies to strip her of her leadership post failed overwhelmingly, 145 to 61. The lopsided vote came by secret ballot, indicating broad private support for Cheney inside the conference, even though many have been wary of speaking out publicly for fear of igniting Trump's wrath."

Precisely, the problem.  Neither party is truly worth a shit.  For totally different reasons.  Both need to clean up their act.  Certainly, not happening.  ... Hear the rumble?  An unwanted, dreaded second American revolution catastrophically looms.  Too deaf to hear?  ... Or, too stupid.

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.  Forfeiture of liberty.  At the hands of outrageously corrupt and abusive government.

The following is truly appalling.  CBS News reports:

"Both former and active-duty Navy SEALs are sounding the alarm over well-documented cases of criminality, drug use and exploitation of the elite military unit's brand, just as they prepare to mark 10 years since a SEAL team killed Osama bin Laden in a daring raid in Pakistan."

As asked many years ago in this publication, why wasn't he taken alive, prosecuted, instead of summarily executed by the SEALS?  He was not armed, offered no resistance.

"CBS News senior investigative correspondent Catherine Herridge spoke with more than a dozen people in the SEAL community, including current and former SEALs,  on the condition of anonymity. They told her that while the vast majority of their fellow SEALs serve honorably, there is a corrupt element in their brotherhood. "We love the job. We love the community. But it has taken a wrong turn," one SEAL told Herridge. Three of them agreed to sit down with CBS News for interviews on the condition that their voices be changed and their identities hidden. Herridge asked the three SEALs who spoke to CBS News why they'd insisted on hiding their identities. "We are risking a lot to be here, risking careers, possible safety," replied one of the men. The group claims there are bad SEALs who have outsized influence on the teams. "There are three groups in the teams. There's a small group on one side that is evil. They're lawless. There's a small group on the other side that stands up to them," the second SEAL said. "And then there's a giant group in the middle that cowardly stays out of it, and they watch the evil guys railroad the good guys."

As reported earlier in this publication and elsewhere:

"Two SEALs recently pleaded guilty to the strangulation of Green Beret Logan Melgar in West Africa. His death in 2017 has been described as a hazing incident gone wrong, but one of the SEALs who spoke to CBS News said they didn't believe that explanation. "This didn't just happen suddenly," a second one added. "There were a hundred steps leading up to that. Lawlessness, narcissism, thinking they're untouchable." There is also the controversial case of Edward Gallagher, who was accused of killing a teenage ISIS prisoner in 2017. During Gallagher's war crime trial Special Operator 1st Class Corey Scott, a SEAL team medic, said that he, not Gallagher, had killed the teenager by asphyxiation. President Trump publicly sided with the SEAL, defending him in November 2019: "They wanted to take his pin away, and I said, 'no, you're not going to take it away. He was a great fighter.'" In the end, Gallagher was convicted of a lesser charge for posing with the dead prisoner's body."

No justice.

"Drug abuse has been a problem, too. Around 2016, senior SEAL commander Jamie Sands read the East Coast teams the riot act. "How do you decide that it's ok to do drugs?" Sands asked the elite forces. But two years later, after the dressing down by Sands, a heavily redacted Navy investigation obtained by CBS News showed that six members of SEAL Team 10 had tested positive for cocaine. Two of the SEALs who spoke to CBS News said they had firsthand knowledge of deployments where members of the teams were taking drugs. The 2018 investigation into Seal Team 10 highlighted SEALs who admitted to using cocaine during sniper school, training and on deployment. The SEALs said the drug use went beyond cocaine to include "methamphetamine, ecstasy and marijuana." Some SEALs called drug testing a "joke." "I would say the majority of guys are not doing it. We've got to work hard to find the guys who are and how they're getting it around," one of the SEALs who sat down for an on-camera interview told CBS News. Allegations of drinking and sexual assault got a SEAL platoon pulled from Iraq in July 2019. That same week, a memo from SEAL leadership read: "We have a problem." "Our lack of order and discipline comes from weak leadership and — and not enforcing the standards," one of the SEALs told Herridge."

Gets worse:

"According to multiple members of the elite military unit, speaking up can have consequences. They showed photos of a fellow SEAL who they said was physically beaten by several teammates for calling out bad behavior. "His leadership turned a blind eye to it, didn't act on it, and essentially gave permission to the SEALs that he accused to deal with it on their terms," the SEAL told CBS News, agreeing with Herridge's description of the incident as "street justice." "For the SEALs watching this, the one thing I want them to think about is, where's the line for you?" one of the troops told her. "If we can't all agree that wrong things are wrong, then it's just gonna keep going on."

No transparency:

"The acting Navy Secretary and the current SEAL commander declined on-camera interviews with CBS News. In a statement, Rear Admiral Hugh Howard III, who heads up the Naval Special Warfare Command, told CBS News that the "Special Warfare team is quietly proud of our contributions to the joint force — our brothers and sisters — who make possible the incredibly complex missions the Nation asks of us. We strive to be an authentic and timeless team — a highly reliable team humble in triumph and fully accountable in failure. We serve all Americans with humility — a humility sharpened through combat losses, mission failures, and imperfection; a humility that drives our sense of urgency to learn, to evolve, and to come back stronger and even more resolute in defense of the United States of America. Our commitment is to be stewards of the incredible trust the American people place in us."

While ignoring egregious corruption and abuse within the ranks, Rear Admiral?

"The killing of Osama Bin Laden on May 1, 2011, was celebrated in the streets. The operation by SEAL Team Six brought a kind of celebrity that was at odds with the tradition SEALs being "quiet professionals." "They should never have said, 'Navy SEALS did this,'" retired SEAL Eric Deming said. With nearly two decades as a SEAL, Deming did tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, and said that the Navy SEALs became a "brand," to their detriment. "I hate being in this chair talking to you [CBS News] right now. I don't know if this is gonna help. But at least it'll expose the problem," Deming said. "And I'm hoping this encourages good SEALs to start saying: 'Enough is enough.'" Herridge asked the group who sat down for interviews with CBS News whether they believed the SEAL community would be in a better place today had it never been revealed that their teammates fellow SEALs took out bin Laden. Two of them said yes, and one added that as soon as it was made public, he had wondered, "how long are we gonna go before somebody exploits this for personal gain? And we didn't have to wait long." Hollywood told the story of the raid in the film "Zero Dark Thirty," and CBS has aired four seasons of its own prime-time series, "Seal Team." Online, former SEALs have monetized their newfound fame, including with autographed photos for sale online. As Herridge showed the three SEALs she sat down with signed photos she'd purchased, one of them started shaking his head, and said he didn't want to touch it. "It's not ok. What about the 'quiet professional' does that encompass? None of it," the SEAL said. Members of SEAL Team Six were disciplined for serving as paid consultants to a video game company. When Herridge asked what the problem was with that, one of the troops answered: "[It was] exposing tactics, techniques, procedures. They expose all kinds of things of how we operate." Another was punished for writing an unauthorized account of the raid. "It's not everybody doing it. Most guys in the SEAL Teams want the books to stop. They want the movies to stop. The TV shows to stop," one of the SEALs said."

Get this.  It's quite remarkable.  Offers hope there will be desperately needed change:

"Asked why the elite troops shouldn't make some money off their service when it's finished, one of the SEALs said: "'Cause this isn't going to Harvard to get a business degree. You serve to uphold the Constitution of the United States and to protect our country. The military and our operations, they're not for sale." When asked why they came to the media, one of the SEALs said there was "desperation: To put it in three words: 'We need help.' And that's why we're here." Herridge asked retired SEAL Deming what it would take to fix the problem. "It's gonna take good guys in the teams staying there, fighting the good fight, calling them out. And then some outside entity coming in and doing a full review of everything," he said. "It's gotta come from outside, and there's gotta be somebody that's got some integrity." Deming who filed a complaint about training practices, still carries the trident from his days as a SEAL.  He said he'd shattered his own son's dreams by telling him he wouldn't allow him to join the SEALs — at least not until he sees real change. What comes next could be even more significant: In January, the Pentagon inspector general has undertaken an evaluation into potential war crimes and whether U.S. Special Operations Command and U.S. CENTCOM are doing enough to prevent potential war crimes, and reporting them if they do happen on the battlefield."

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.  Forfeiture of liberty.  At the hands of outrageously corrupt and abusive government.

The effort to expose Wells Fargo egregious deceptive trade practices continues.  Several years ago to determinedly apply renewed pressure on our truly worthless, egregiously self-serving Texas Attorney General, now Governor, an excoriating email was sent to the bastard. Copies of which were also passed on to both offending Wells Fargo officers. A copy was also sent to the Davis campaign and others at the time.

Voters did have a right to know as Attorney General, the GOP candidate for Governor apparently selectively investigated, or not, bona fide complaints filed by citizens against banks too big to fail.  Possibly, Wells Fargo could have lined his pockets in some fashion.  That has yet to be determined.

The bastard and his office, no matter what, failed to respond to the complaint originally snail mailed several years ago.  This material, figuratively targeting Wells Fargo and the governor 'wannabe' now Governor, had been posted and can be found by scrolling all the way down and clicking on the links well below.  ... Governor?  Wells Fargo bribe you to look the other way?

Will continue to do all I can to publicly expose this to all, both in this publication and elsewhere.  Have done precisely that with the following email sent to Matt Turner, Matt Turner Video Services, Marble Falls, TX.  A copy of it was also sent to Wells Fargo officer Amanda Wright.  She has, indeed, been promoted  branch manager. Reverse Darwinism.  Survival of the unfittest.

This young woman has indeed been rewarded by the Wells Fargo corporate management suite for engaging in criminal deceptive trade practices and her undying loyalty to her corporate masters. The process to update those already informed of this fiasco has finally been completed. This latest material can be found by clicking onWells Fargo Deceptive Trade Practices Salvo 240, 2-8-19.

The name of this publication was changed some fifteen years ago from The Llano Ledger to Liberty In Peril.  The reason?  Simple.  Cowardly failure of this community to stand up to tyranny that has only exponentially worsened the last decade and a half.  Clearly, demonstrated as well by the cowardly failure of businesses to financially support this publication.  Either through advertising or other financial support.  Too afraid doing so would enrage the bastards who run and own this hellhole County.

-- Despite the fact these businesses were, and are, being egregiously f--ked by these very same bastards. Tough, isn't it?  Impossible to entertain any sympathy for cowardice, however.  Especially in view of the fact this writer has placed himself in great jeopardy taking on these corrupt, abusive, inept criminal bastards. Alone.

Exactly, why you see no investigative material highly critical of these sons of bitches in other local rags.  Sadly, cowardly, all advertising income immediately dries up.  Consequently, the bastards continue their criminal chicanery with impunity.  On a rampage.  Thus, you get what you truly deserve.  Always.  Precisely, why this earlier name change to Liberty In Peril remains appropriate.  -- Despite the fact this writer has not yet left the area.  Ten years after originally intending to do so.  Thirty years in this goddamned godforsaken hellhole.

This writer, then and now, remains primarily interested in state, federal, and international issues.  Another reason for this publication name change.  Despite the fact I stupidly cluelessly remain here, local issues must be addressed.  Can't be ignored.  That's where you come in dear readers.  Have the courage to inform this writer of local abuse, corruption, ineptness you are aware of, have personally experienced.

... Information these criminal bastards do all they can to conceal, cover up.  Otherwise, how can they effectively sustain the charade and intended result? Loot confiscation through a boot heel on the throat of the citizenry.

The only way, short of an unwanted dreaded second American revolution, to force badly-needed change is to expose all this to the light of day.  These bastards are beginning to understand they have a problem.  No question, the growing rage of those they've abused, looted, egregiously f--ked.  It's time to stand up.  Expose this corruption to glaring sunlight.  Otherwise, as fools, cowards, you will remain under their thumb.  From the loftiest business owner to those on the bottom of the food chain.  Wake up.  Grow a pair.

Still don't think that likely to happen.  After all, you're bought and paid for.  Owned. Not only by your government masters, but their masters.  The corporate management suite.  Your employers.  Think not? Wake up.   You're human chattel.  Corporate-owned, bought and paid for.  Precisely, why you cowardly, compliantly, literally bare your asses for corporate inspection by the company doctor.  Willingly, compliantly, cowardly piss in a cup under employer supervision.  To sit in front of a keyboard or stock shelves all day.  You have no control of your lives.  You're owned.  Forget?  For a measly salary, no job security, reduced to no benefits.  At a time of record corporate profits and cash reserves.

Then, you gallingly complain about the oppression as you tolerate egregious theft of your labor. Not only by your corporate masters, but their bought and paid for government lackeys.  Too cowardly to stand up, allow disclosure of your identity when you rightfully complain to this publication of being mercilessly f--ked. Some of you falsely arrested, criminally assaulted, bogusly fined for 'offenses' you did not commit.  To line County coffers.  Keep the peasants in line and under control.  A fascist police-state. Nazi America.

Again, yet another reason why this publication is called Liberty In Peril.  Most galling? Nothing changes if you fail to step up and challenge corrupt, abusive, inept authority.  Too afraid, cowardly compliant to let the bastards know who you are.  Did it ever occur to the cowards out there if the identity of the accuser is kept under wraps the bastards will falsely claim it's all made up by this publication?  Thus, conveniently killing all credibility. Wake up.

Cowardice is unbecoming, unworthy of our formerly great country.  Insult to injury?  There are the hopelessly deranged who believe the chicanery reported here to be manufactured anyway.  No matter the effort.  No matter the research.  No matter the proof.  Wake up.  This writer cannot do it alone.  Snowball's chance in hell.  Then again, cowardice, delusion is always amply, justly rewarded.  Always. You continue to 'enjoy' the very best government money can buy.  Literally.
