Getting online has gotten increasingly difficult and expensive last four months.  Worse, access is outside since most establishments are closed or limited to drive-thru operations.  Lap tops are not designed to be used in such an environment.  Extremely difficult to see the screen.  Time for the readership to step up and provide assistance.  TC 7-24-20

In response to the pandemic, government quickly imposed draconian restrictions making access to public wifi exceptionally difficult.  Consequently, editions of this publication will be briefer and posted as regularly as possible until circumstances change.  TC 3-20-20

Publisher's Note: This publication receives no financial support through advertising.  Although shaken down, looted, and abused by corrupt government, area businesses remain unwilling to stand up.  Locals are too gutless to donate financially, cowardly fearing retribution.  For this publication to survive, national readers need to contribute.  Liberty In Peril is, has been, and will always remain beholden to NO ONE. -- Precisely why there is no financial assistance.  ... From day of launch and certainly a no-brainer to this very day, firmly resolved to walk away first rather than compromise principle. -- To the chagrin of many and delight of few.    T.C. (5-7-13).

For new readers:  Fascism, nazism, national socialism defined as the pernicious blend of government, business, and religion. 'Justified' by perversion and bastardization of the latter.

No matter what, no matter where, this publication will remain up and running.  For it to remain centered here, however, financial and/or material support must be provided.  Status quo, unsustainable.  Time to step up.  Now.

Brother dearest.  ... Been awhile, hasn't it, Bro?  A little antsy?  Wondering when the next shoe is about to fall, that is, when you'll be fully exposed for the thieving son of a bitch you truly are?  Patience.  All in good time, good buddy.  When I'm damned good and ready.  Timing just right.  After all, a son of a bitch who's stolen his father's estate needs to be fully exposed publicly for whom and what he is, don't you think?  Indeed, a public service for your neighbors, professional associates, family, and friends, etc..

Conveniently, forget?  Others need to protect themselves against a fraud who masquerades as both a teacher and a counselor, no?  -- How the hell did you ever pass an MMPI some forty years ago to get hired?  You're not stable.  Have not been.  ... Must have really been pissed off at the old man to rip off an estate, no?  How much did you steal while he was alive and supposedly under your care?

How much did you bribe law enforcement to ignore a complaint I filed with them years before the old man died?  How much did you bribe the prosecutor to ignore a complaint filed with her several years ago?  How much?  Use the old man's money to bribe the bitch?  Her cohorts?  Your law enforcement shysters?  While there may indeed be no justice from a corrupt system, fortunately, I do have a way to publicly expose you for the goddamned thieving son of a bitch you truly are.

... Unlike our grandmother who scrubbed floors on her hands and knees during the Depression for peanuts, only to have what little she had stolen by her son, our uncle, another goddamned thieving son of a bitch just like you.  Remember how, surprise, surprise, there was no life insurance when our grandfather died?  Despite the fact our grandmother gave her thieving bastard son premium money year after goddamned year?  Only, as the thieving son of a bitch he truly was, to have pocketed it.  Again, just like you.

Remember when he booted her out of the house she had bought him when he had had enough of her?  -- Despite the fact he had lied and promised she could stay the rest of her life?  She had to climb two flights of stairs on an ulcerated leg to get to a bathroom he had never built for her at ground level as falsely promised.   Nothing ever happened to the thieving son of a bitch as far as justice was concerned.  Worse, he was never exposed publicly for the thieving son of a bitch he truly was.

Will be different for you, Bro.  While you've bought off authorities, you will be publicly exposed.  In great detail.  In good time.  When I'm damned good and ready.  When exposure will do the maximum figurative damage to your goddamned sordid reputation.  -- Just the truth, brother dearest, however.  Just the truth.

Irony of ironies?  When the thieving son of a bitch died, and our mother was finally informed he had passed, she cried for her brother, -- the bastard thief who stole from her mother.  Sad, isn't it?  Too bad she's not still alive to see you publicly exposed for the goddamned thieving son of a bitch you, yourself, truly are.  As was he.  Not in a court of law you've bought off, however.  Right here.

In good time.  Again, when I'm damned good and ready.  Employing the very same tactics used against Amanda Wright of Wells Fargo.  -- On steroids, however, since all dirty family laundry will be aired.  All of it.  No threat.  A promise.  Emails sent to your neighbors, friends, professional associates, businesses you deal with.  Although an enormous amount of work, all doable courtesy of the Internet.  Despite being some 1,800 miles away.  -- Small world, isn't it, Bro?  Enjoy the stolen loot, you son of a bitch.  Forget?  It's all you have.

Brother dearest.  Save all the check stubs from the old man's accounts?  Fraudulently sign any of them yourself?  Think this material couldn't be obtained from the banks either through discovery or a criminal investigation?  Still own the house on Condict Rd.?   Any other properties besides this one and the old man's you stole with the help of your shyster bastard? Be interesting to see how far your assets extend and where.  Think all that information isn't accessible?  That I won't determinedly obtain it?

That not only an extensive Internet search will be conducted that will likely take months to complete?  But an extensive background check as well?  Think the Catholic high school you attended shouldn't be informed of the thievery of one of its graduates?  Think the clerics there would be appalled at their failure to teach you right from wrong?  How about both universities?  Think neighbors in the old man's neighborhood won't be informed of your deception?  Think they don't have a right to know?

Ever follow the advice of Dr. Bert Wiser, psychological statistics professor at MSU?  That is, get treatment for your achingly debilitating instability?  Is that why you wound up looting the old man?  Or, is it simply a convenient excuse you'll use to defend the indefensible?  Think this will end any time soon?  That is, public exposure of you as a thieving son of a bitch?  We're just getting started, Bro.  Just getting started.

Don't like it?  Tough shit.  Sue me you thieving son of a bitch.  Would use discovery to learn and post on this website all there is to know about you, your activities, predilections, business 'deals,' as well as all your financial transactions, etc..  All of it.  Would certainly avoid the expense of an extensive background check on you, thieving brother dearest.

Even if you were successful in court, there is nothing for you to take, this remains, as well, a homesteading state where minimal assets are protected anyway.  This site is hosted in an overseas country that doesn't particularly like government intrusion, remains not prone to cooperate.  Besides, can always upload to another webhost in still yet another country.  The possibilities are endless, Bro.  Just takes willingness, effort, unshakable determination.

Even if I lost it all would be more than worth it to expose you for the goddamned thieving son of a bitch you truly are.  Even if you bribed a goddamned nazi 'judge' to remove posted material, would not cooperate and be more than willing to rot in jail.  Would certainly keep reposting it all no matter the cost and/or personal consequences every time it was taken down.  Forget, you thieving son of a bitch?  I never ever give up.

Since all I seek is your exposure for the thief you truly are, would all be worth it.  For the sake of principle.  All the work, financial cost, as well as the time I am about to dedicate to this effort, you deceptive, unstable, sick, thieving son of a bitch.  Unlike you, I live on principle and have absolutely nothing to lose.  You do.  Will certainly take great pleasure and satisfaction in doing all I can to publicly expose you for whom and what you are.

To say nothing of placing enormous pressure on prosecutors you and your equally corrupt shyster son of a bitch apparently bribed.  Don't like it?  Again, tough shit. Chew harder.  The public needs to know to protect itself.  From you and your shyster bastard.  People who live and travel in your circles as well.  Including his.  As a thief, you and he can't be trusted by anyone.  You'll determinedly f--k them.

More than willing to provide this truly public service.  People certainly need to know whom and what you are.  What you have sadly become.  You certainly weren't brought up to be a thieving son of a bitch.  What happened?  Where did you lose yourself, Bro?  -- Never mind.  ... Truly doesn't matter.  Only your exposure.

TC 4-22-16

Hey, Bro?  Remember me?  How soon they conveniently forget.  ... Half asleep? -- Out to lunch?  ... In your own perverse little world?  That of a criminal?  Wake up.  Conveniently, gutlessly forget?  Insanely believe you're someway, somehow off the hook?  Think again.  We're not done.  You remain a thief who will be exposed for whom and what your are.  What you certainly have become.  No question about that.  Patience, you thieving son of a bitch.  Exposure is coming.  Promise.

Think I don't have time?  Truly believe the ongoing Presidential fiasco ends no matter who wins?  The murderous decay in law enforcement gets resolved any time soon?  Criminal Wells Fargo employees from local Kingsland bank manager Amanda S. Wright right up to and including CEO John Stumpf get prosecuted in the near future despite egregious criminal activity?  Wouldn't hold my breath, would you?

Think I don't have time to handle all this and your public exposure for the estate-stealing criminal son of a bitch you've truly become?  How could you steal from the old bastard, you incredibly sad sack of shit?  Certainly weren't brought up to be a thief.  What happened to you?  Where'd you lose yourself?

No question, 2017 will be a most remarkable, defining year for you, Bro.  Public exposure for the thieving piece of shit you've sadly become.  It's on the way. Promise.  Hope you sue.  Nothing for you to take.  Tough, isn't it?  Certainly, makes me judgment proof.  Will certainly, as well, take advantage of discovery.  Publish every detail I can get my hands on.  No matter the consequences.  Only consideration?  Prime directive?  Your exposure for whom and what you are.

Readers?  This not-so-brotherly piece of shit stole from our father.  Manipulated the old man to line his pockets.  Just like our uncle on my mother's side of the family did to my grandmother.  Runs in the family.  Our family.   ... Right, Bro?  This game now gets played my way, -- not yours, you son of a bitch.  That is, no more U.S. Mail tag.

Anything sent by mail will be refused, returned unopened.  Want contact?  Email.  libertyinperil@riseup.net.  Quick.  Easy.  Better yet?  A digital record.  Permanent.  Easily accessible.  Easily uploaded to this site when and if it becomes necessary.  The shyster bastard you hired to steal the estate shouldn't expect escape, either, from public exposure as the thieving piece of shit he, like you, truly both are.  Unscrupulous thieves.

Sincerely hope that piece of crap sues as well.  Nothing to take.  Discovery again would be published no matter the personal cost.  Nothing quite like public exposure, is there?  Especially, when it is nothing but the truth and there is absolutely nothing to lose exposing two pieces of criminal shit for whom and what they are.  Two pieces of gutless human excrement who looted an old man.  ... Right, Bro?

There is no better disinfectant than sunlight, readers.  Glaring sunlight.  Dazzling brilliance.  Amazing how the roaches run for cover.  Equally pointedly, how vermin on two legs manage to so easily prey on the elderly courtesy of the out of control fascist police-state we now live in.  While there'll never be any justice vis a vis this theft, there will be exposure to the brilliant light of day for both criminal perpetrators.  Count on it, you not-so-brotherly criminal son of a bitch.

TC 10-7-16

Hey, Bro?  Hear of Old Sturbridge Village?  Haven't?  ... Not lying, are you, you thieving son of a bitch?  You and your long-term companion EC conspire, bequeath some of the old man's loot to this museum?  An achingly stingy gift of $250-$499, -- considering the size of the estate?  The CEO and Board have any idea you stole it?  Think they'd care?  -- Just getting started, dearest, dearest Bro.  ... Delusionally believe I haven't more than enough time, resources, determination to expose you for the thieving piece of crap you truly are?  ... Under $500 back in 2013?  Remarkably parsimonious with stolen money aren't you?   What does it feel like to have gutlessly ripped off an incompetent old man?  -- Dear old Dad.  Certainly, look forward to digging much deeper into how you and your shyster lawyer managed to bamboozle and loot the old bastard.  Back in the day, certainly wouldn't have fallen for your bullshit.  Would have kicked your worthless, thieving ass out the door.  Intend to expose it to the light of day.  Indeed, a public service. Seatbelts on, you thieving son of a bitch. Tally ho!

TC 3-24-17

... Brief aside, dear readers, for a most exceptional reason.  -- Although infrequent, pressing ongoing personal business must come first on rare occasion.  Hope you agree, moreover, find it entertaining, -- as this writer did crafting what follows.  Principle trumps all.  Remains prime mover, prime directive no matter what.

This pressing issue involves a family thief. A heartless predator preying on the elderly who must be held accountable, exposed to the light of day.  Especially, since authorities failed to do their job.  The following is part of that continuing effort to expose this piece of shit for whom and what he is:

Hey, Bro?  Guess what?  Me, again.  Most determined pain in the ass.  Miss me?  An inconvenient, nagging hemorrhoid that simply won't go away no matter what.  -- A pile with a smile that takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'.

... Delusionally think this most persistent nemesis of yours conveniently disappeared to parts unknown, vanished in thin air? To give a turd a break?  Wake up.  Not a chance, you thieving son of a bitch.  ... When you insanely believe this writer's gone and you're finally in the clear, guess what, here I am, right in your face.

Despite what's going on across our formerly great country, always have more than enough time for personal business.  That is, exposing you, Bro, to the glaring light of day.  A pathetically greedy predator.  Your target, who else, the elderly.  Most defenseless, vulnerable, an easy fleece.  -- Thought you'd steal from the surly old curmudgeon with impunity, no consequences?

Successfully escape accountability? Avoid detection, all responsibility?  Blatant theft of an old man's estate?  A little help from a bought and paid for hopelessly greedy unprincipled shyster?  Supposed cake walk due to 1800 miles separation?  No one to hold you accountable?  Your feet to the fire?  What could you possibly been thinking?

You've read this publication before.  Know precisely who and what I am, what I do.  Never give up.  Never say die.  Ignore all obstacles.  Know full well Liberty In Peril modus operandi remains as relentlessly ferocious, blindingly intense as ever.

No punches pulled.  No slack.  No personal consideration.  Certainly, not for a gutless son of a bitch, no more than a thieving predator.  Looted target, guess who, dear old dad.  Pitiful.  Delusionally believe you had the booty coming?  An entitlement?  For having had to put up with his shit all those years?  Wake up.

Hear of Historic Deerfield?  Of course, you have, you lying son of a bitch.  Forget?  You're one of their not-so-generous 'benefactors.'  ... With all the money stolen from our father's estate, only bequeath them a piss poor $40 bucks?

Unbelievable.  An achingly tight, cheap, thieving, worthless piece of duplicitous crap.  ... Write-off?  Negligible.  ... Feather  in the cap?  How?  Delusionally believe your treachery would never see the light of day?  What planet do you live on?

Board of Trustees Chair Anne K. Groves know full well you looted the estate?  How about President Philip Zea?  Think both don't have a right to know?  How about Anne Lanning, Vice President For Museum Affairs?  To say nothing of Susan Martinelli, Vice President For Business Affairs?

These officials are entitled to know precisely whom they're doing business with.  A thief.  Gutless phony.  Blow-hard fraud.  Hoity-toity dandy.  Worse?  An unprincipled thief who stole from his father.  ... Glaring light of day sucks, doesn't it, Bro?  No escaping the unvarnished truth, this most bitter reality.  Not a chance.

Saddest of all?  Back in the day, Hell would have frozen over before anyone would have have been able to rip off the craggy old bastard.  Remember quite well how intent, determined he was not to be fleeced late in life by a sick son of a bitch like you.

A leech.  Ironic, isn't it?  Gutless rip off of an old man who couldn't adequately handle his affairs any longer.  How do you sleep nights?

Fraud runs in the family, clearly.  History repeating itself.  Right in the footsteps of our grandmother's son, who callously ripped off his mother decades ago.  Again, another achingly pathetic piece of human excrement.  Just like you.  Intend to lay it bare.  Methodically.  Painstakingly. In great detail.  Living, breathing color.

For all to see.  A public service.  Exposure of the criminal piece of human excrement you truly are.  For sustained public review.  A goddamned thief.  Pissed? Chagrined?  Nonplused?  Tough shit.  Sue.  Would certainly immediately post all discovery no matter the consequences.

All snail mail will be returned unopened.  No phone tag.  Got something to say? Email.  Say it right here.  On this website.  In public.  For the world to see.  Will be posted in its entirety.  No editing.  Unlike you, this writer doesn't lie, cheat, steal.  Honors his word.  Intend to expose you precisely for whom and what you are.

Duplicitous predator who preyed on his own father.  Blinding exposure to benefit the community.  Have nothing to lose providing this public service, but you do.  No better disinfectant than sunshine.

.. Think the old bastard not spinning in his grave?  -- Old lady not doing the same?  One thing for certain.  Neither brought you up to be a goddamned thief.  Yet, here we are.  ... Until next time, Tally Ho!

5-25-18

... Hey, Sheriff? Is it true Llano County Attorney Becky Lange has advised you to stay out of the "Berardi Property Rights Denial-Damage To Pace Arrow-Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764" fiasco?  That right, Bill?  Isn't that obstruction of justice?  Also true your deputies have advised the Bolens to accept the status quo and not force the no-trespassing issue with Greene?  If so, isn't that also obstruction and official oppression?  When will you do your job, Bill?  As an elected official, you answer to the public, forget?  -- No honor?  ... No honor at all? If the foregoing allegations are indeed true, didn't you swear an oath to uphold the law and Constitution?  Why aren't you doing so?  No guts?

Your deputy has been accused of abusing authority.  What action have you taken other than ignore the complaint?  Why aren't both Rodriguez and the County Attorney under criminal investigation?  The County Attorney appears to be obstructing justice, accepting the word of Greene in lieu of two surveyor companies who strongly assert otherwise.  Both the County Attorney and District Attorney have ignored complaints.  Par for the course in Llano County, isn't it?  Failed to do their jobs.  No surprise there, right, Bill?  Both receiving 'special consideration' up to and/or including a bribe from Greene?  Regardless, clearly, no justice in Nazi Llano County.  Bottom line?  Desperate need for an outside criminal investigation.  Conveniently, forget?  This County is ruled by men, certainly not rule of law and the United States Constitution.

Precisely, why there is desperate need for a new federal agency whose sole function would be to investigate, arrest, charge, and prosecute criminal law enforcement, prosecutors, and judges in a special court whose only mandate would be to adjudicate such cases.  Total independence.  Until that happens, the criminal bastards who falsely believe they run and own this hell hole County will continue to do as they please.

Tim Chorney, Publisher
Liberty In Peril

Some salient quotes occurring later on in this edition vis a vis unfinished business County officials continue to ignore:

... "No justice.  Precisely, why there is desperate need for a new federal agency whose sole function would be to investigate, arrest, charge, and prosecute corrupt, abusive, criminal officers, prosecutors, and judges in a special court that would adjudicate only these cases.  Total independence.  The only way to rein in these criminals, particularly the murderers in blue.

Sadly, the achingly clueless bastards in law enforcement don't need a legitimate reason to kill.  Enjoy carte blanche to murder on the job.  Nearly always, with impunity.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Sue the living shit out of the jackbooted motherf--kers, the department, and the city.  Any officer engaged in, or threatening this kind of unnecessary violence needs to be criminally prosecuted.  Not protected and coddled.  Not put on paid leave, -- no more than a paid vacation.  Not sent home without pay to catch up on his beauty sleep.

Firing is egregiously insufficient.  How can the law enforcement community be trusted?  No foreign power, no terrorist organization, not even the criminal element presents a greater threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties than the criminal jackbooted bastards in law enforcement.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Madam County Attorney?  "Sonny Boy?"

These are extremely dangerous times for our formerly great country.  ... Hear the rumble?  An unwanted dreaded second American revolution catastrophically looming.  -- As our legislators and other government officials figuratively 'fiddle while Rome burns.'

Not good enough.  Nowhere near.  Short of an unwanted dreaded second American revolution, only one way for these atrocities to end.  Again, time for a new federal agency whose sole function would be to investigate, arrest, charge, prosecute corrupt, abusive, criminal officers, prosecutors, and judges in a special court whose sole function would be to adjudicate such cases.  Total independence.

Local  and state authorities are egregiously incapable of handling these cases. Tend to protect their own.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Goes with the territory, doesn't it, Bill?  Precisely, why there is no faith or trust in your criminal jackbooted bastards.  Local authorities here in Nazi Llano County have their heads figuratively, securely lodged so far up their clueless ass their eyeballs are turning inside out.  Protect and coddle your clueless, out of control officers.  Imagine that.

Unadulterated, blatant ongoing horse shit.  ... Right, Bill?  F--k these jackbooted bastards.  Aren't worth a crap.  Continually abrogate their oaths of office to protect and defend the United States Constitution.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Includes not only deputies, but the brass as well.  No principles.  No honor.  Lying, conniving, abusive, murderous jackbooted thieving thugs.  The American Civil Liberties Union needs to step up and represent the victims of abusive law enforcement.

To say nothing of innocent civilians all across our formerly great country who are victimized by abusive police.  Need far better representation than a public defender.  Forget?  It's how the bastards in government line government coffers.  All too often, looting the innocent.  Those on the bottom of the food chain.  ... Right, Sheriff?

No justice.  The American Way.  Nazi America.  When is this shit finally going to end?  All of it.  Wake up, Sheriff.  Again, where is dashcam video of the killing of Jeffrey Gray Wise, 52, of Austin by DPS and the Llano County Sheriff's Office?  Two hundred fifty-six weeks, now.  A goddamned disgrace.

Why are you still sitting on this information?  What are you hiding, Sheriff?  What is the identity of the officers who killed Wise?  Too gutless to release this information to the public that pays your salary and that of your goons?  Reportedly, there were three officers involved in the shooting.  Who the hell are they?

When will the goddamned 'law' 'enforcement' community finally stop making excuses for engaging in outrageous criminal activity including blatant murder, violent assault, sexual assault, theft, drug trafficking, etc.?  List can go on and on.  Protecting its own no matter what it does or doesn't do?  Convenient, isn't it, Sheriff?  Again, no foreign power, no terrorist organization, not even the criminal element presents a greater threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties than all branches and levels of government, -- including law enforcement.

Corruption within law enforcement remains an existential threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties.  So what else is new?  ... Right, Bill?  Same old duplicitous, aggressively stupid shit occurs right here in Nazi Llano County.  ... Doesn't it, Sheriff?

Think it'll change any time soon?  Don't hold your breath, readers.  Not how things work in Nazi America, right, Sheriff?  Highly reminiscent of how your goons operate though, isn't it, Bill?  Forget?  'Stupid is as stupid does.'  F--ked up is f--ked up no matter where, no matter how.  Problem throughout all law enforcement.

Including right here in Nazi Llano County, right, Sheriff?  Too many officers clearly have their heads securely lodged where the sun seldom shines.  Egregious insanity continues to be perpetrated by the criminal jackbooted bastards in blue.  Ongoing issue.  All over our formerly great country.

Not just in Dallas as in the Guyger case, but all over the nation.  No end to it.  Surprised?  Why?  In today's increasingly national socialist climate anything goes, right, Bill?  Live in a de facto fascist police-state, quickly transitioning to the Trump nazi's Fourth Reich.  Certainly, a problem here in Nazi Llano County, isn't it, Sheriff?  Your goons, however, aren't held accountable when they egregiously f--k up.  Ever.

Precisely why you refuse to release information on your deputies to the long-suffering public? That is, employment history, criminal background, results of drug testing, etc..  ... Got to protect your criminal jackbooted thugs preying on the citizenry with virtual impunity, right, sir?

Equally pointedly, why hasn't Llano County Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764 been held criminally accountable for egregious abuse of power involving denial of property rights to a Kingsland property owner?  To say nothing of consequent resultant physical damage done to a motor home on that property.  Why are you protecting this clueless son of a bitch, Sheriff?

Why hasn't he been prosecuted for official oppression?  Where is financial compensation for the damage this jackbooted piece of human excrement is responsible for? Ferociously pointedly, why are the District Attorney and the County Attorney continuing to protect this jackbooted piece of shit?  He and others like him present an exigent threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties.

Equally to the point, why are your jackbooted pieces of human excrement refusing to enforce Berardi's property rights?  Your goons have failed to take action against Theresa Ahrens when she tore down a no trespassing sign and barrier on Berardi's property.  Have you, your goons, and/or Madam County Attorney been bribed by Johnny Greene?

Ahrens frequently drives all the way through Berardi's property.  Coup de grace?  When Berardi complained to Llano County Deputy Idle about the trespassing, the officer's response was insane.  Said the Sheriff told him to tell Berardi since Ahrens believes she owns his property she can't be charged with trespassing.  Perfect Catch-22, right, Sheriff?  You're not fit for office, Bill.  Bribed by Johnny Greene?

Why is Theresa Ahrens allowed by your goons to dictate what vehicles can and cannot be parked on Berardi's property?  Ahrens claims she has proof the property belongs to her where the vehicle was parked.  Has failed to produce it. Surveyors say otherwise.  Back up Berardi.  Yet, your jackbooted bastards refuse to enforce Berardi's property rights.  Why?  Somebody lining somebody's pockets, Sheriff?

Ms. Ahrens micro-mini portable 'house' is parked on an unused unmarked Llano County road.  Imagine that.  Madam County Attorney well-aware.  Has done nothing.  Shit squat.  Egregiously ignored her oath of office.  Someone bribing you, Becky?  Lining your pockets, Counselor?  Paying you not to sell the unused unmarked County road to Berardi?  Doesn't the County want and need the sale money, to say nothing of the resultant tax income?

No question, County and State agencies remain determinedly, concertedly, achingly incapable of criminal investigation of their own.  Precisely, why a new federal agency desperately needs to be created whose sole function would be to investigate, arrest, charge, prosecute corrupt, abusive, criminal officers, prosecutors, and judges in a special court whose sole function would be to adjudicate only such cases.  Total independence.  Certainly, go a long, long way to cleaning up this cess pool County.  Rein in the outrageously corrupt, abusive, achingly inept, self-serving assholes who run and own this hell hole.

Sheriff, you falsely claim the Kingsland County Commissioner has the authority to resolve this ongoing property rights issue.  Clearly, doesn't.  You, Madam County Attorney, and "Sonny Boy" are certainly an egregious impediment, continue to determinedly stonewall.  Someone's pockets are being lined.  Again, where's financial compensation for the damage Llano County Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764 is directly responsible for to the Pace Arrow?  Why hasn't he been prosecuted for this damage, to say nothing of infringement of Berardi's property rights?  -- Just getting started, Sheriff.  Far more to come.

-- You're not doing your jobs, Sheriff.  You've got a loose vicious dog problem in Kingsland, Bill.  When will you and the troops finally do something about this ongoing issue?  Certainly, a recurring problem on Skyline, particularly on occasion at the intersection of Odessa.  Pedestrians, runners, and cyclists are at risk.  Too busy lining County coffers with bogus tickets?"

Counselor:

The enclosed emails were sent to the Llano County Attorney and Sheriff, respectively, vis a vis the above matter.  Remain unanswered.  The County Attorney appears to be protecting and defending the deputy at behest of Kingsland property owner Johnny Greene.  May have received some consideration from Greene up to and including a bribe.  Are the County Attorney, Greene, and the Deputy under criminal investigation?  If not, why not?

Re:  Berardi Property Rights Denial-Damage To Pace Arrow-Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764

Counselor:

As you're well aware, we have an outrageously corrupt, abusive, achingly inept Llano County Sheriff's Office here in Nazi Llano County.  Worse, you and your office aid and abet these SS jackbooted bastards in black.  The issue at the moment is the same it's been the last six months.

How is it two surveyor companies, the Appraisal District, the Tax Office, the Precinct 3 Commissioner, even the goddamned Sheriff himself now states Kingsland resident James Berardi owns the lots in contention all these months?

Yet, you ludicrously assert that's not the County's legal position.  It's not?  Why not?  You claim you're not a real estate expert.  Rather than accept the advice of two surveyor companies, the Precinct 3 Commissioner, the Appraisal District, the Tax Office, and even the Sheriff himself, you've inexplicably chosen to follow the advice of property owner Johnny Greene, -- who conveniently happens to be reportedly in the oil industry.

Question to be asked.  Could you have received any 'consideration' in return, -- up to and including a bribe?  Only way to know for sure is for the District Attorney to conduct a criminal investigation.  Apparently, there has been none.  If not, why not?

Equally pointedly, why hasn't Llano County Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764 been held criminally accountable for egregious abuse of power involving denial of property rights to this Kingsland property owner?  To say nothing of consequent resultant physical damage done to a motor home on that property.

Our achingly useless, worthless, gutless Sheriff has ignored an email vis a vis the damage this jackbooted thug is responsible for.  Interestingly, his fellow officers believe him to be an idiot.  Yet, the Sheriff continued to defend this piece of human excrement until he realized  this entire fiasco would not be swept under the carpet.

Rodriguez is indeed an idiot.  Would you believe this piece of crap ordered the motor home to be moved on to an unmarked unused Llano County road? That motor home has indeed been moved back to where it was parked before Rodriguez forced it to be moved.  Why hasn't the County paid for the cost of moving it back?  To say nothing of the damage.

Equally pointedly, why is it the County has allowed Theresa Ahrens to park and live in her tiny cottage on that very same road?  Why hasn't she been evicted by the County?  Why was she assessed taxes on an adjacent improvement she doesn't own?

Why is it, Counselor, Johnny Greene is paying for the attorney retained by Ms. Ahrens?  Is Greene attempting to make this all go away by bribery?  Greene has also informed Berardi he is going to sue.  For what?  Has Greene lost his mind?

What about Wells who installed a $4500 septic system on a lot turns out he does not own as a result of Greene, an outrageously inept County, to say nothing of the Llano County Attorney who remains equally determinedly clueless?

How about Bolen who hasn't a pot to piss in, but was nonetheless f--ked over by Greene to say nothing of an egregiously inept County, to say nothing of you and your goddamned equally incompetent office?

None of this is going away, Counselor, -- any time soon.  Will not be swept under the carpet as all the other crap going on in this hell hole County.  Not a chance.  Expect a full expose in this publication whether or not this outrageous fiasco finally gets resolved.  Including full public exposure of both the Sheriff and his jackbooted thug.

Who are they, Sheriff? Their past history?  An ongoing investigation remains a lame bullshit excuse.  How can you and your goons be trusted when you refuse to disclose information? Two hundred fifty-six weeks.  Especially, your egregious failure to disclose the identity of the officers who pulled the trigger.  To cover your sorry ass, Sheriff?  Those of your thugs?  The people have a right to know what happened, how it went down.  You don't understand that, Sheriff?  Sadly, clearly, you answer to no one.  Including taxpayers.  Especially, taxpayers.

Until you and your goons come clean, doubt will remain this was indeed a good shoot.  The longer you drag your feet, the greater the doubt.  Think not?  Wake up.  Your credibility has tanked.  Isn't getting any better as this bullshit continues unabated.  Two hundred fifty-six weeks.   Still no identification of the officers involved  ... Can't get your stories straight?  In line?  Discrepancy between LCSO and DPS? Wake up, Sheriff.  The public no longer buys the bullshit.  No longer trusts you.  On this and many, many other issues.  You have no credibility.  Absolutely, none.

Readers, this is but one of about four other highly questionable killings by law enforcement in Llano County in the last decade or so.  There was one within the City of Llano, another in a field near Fuzzy's Corner, Buchanan Dam, yet another in Point Tella, Buchanan Dam, still another in Tow.  If there are any others I may have neglected to mention, kindly email.

It's time the public be fully informed.  -- Know what we're dealing with here and how 'law' 'enforcement' operates in this hell hole County.  If these jackbooted bastards are not reined in, the life lost could be many  others courtesy of a law enforcement system that is no longer accountable to anyone.  ... Right, Sheriff?  TL?  "Sonny Boy?"  Madam County Attorney?

The Sheriff seems to have no clue the people who pay him and his goons are entitled to know whom is killing whom and why.  This shit always seems to be swept under the carpet.  Ignored.  The attitude of these jackbooted sons of bitches is trust us.  They can't be.  They've lied too many times.  Refuse to be accountable to anyone.  We live in a goddamned fascist police-state where law enforcement does as it pleases. Usually, with impunity.  This has to change.

The Texas Rangers have become rubber stamp to atrocities committed by law enforcement.  This also has to change.  No one is holding law enforcement accountable any longer.  No one.  No one in state or federal government. This is precisely why Ferguson triggered such an uproar.  There was no justice there.  None here.  None anywhere.  Officers are abusive, corrupt, inept.

Falsely ticket and arrest the innocent to line County coffers.  Court fees charged continue to be horrendous.  -- Aren't taxpayers already looted to pay these costs?  Aren't you not only double f--king those falsely accused, but taxpayers also hellaciously looted to pay the very same costs?   Yet, the criminal bastards in power in Llano continue to pile on the fees. This is nothing more than goddamned bullshit.  This money finds its way into the pockets of the corrupt, abusive bastards who falsely believe they run and own this hell hole.

Would you believe the last time the Sheriff's Office happened to be 'audited' during the Garrett regime, reportedly, auditors couldn't figure out what went where and why? Yet, surprise, surprise.  Nothing was done.  There has to be transparency.  There is none.  Why would these thieving bastards want any?  ... Right, Sheriff?  TL?  How else could they so easily steal and loot with virtual impunity?  Worse, this reinforces jackbooted power in this goddamned, godforsaken hell hole County.

The public has a right to know the histories of the Sheriff's goons.  Clearly, the Sheriff doesn't think so.  That is, where they came from.  Why they left where they were.  What is happening here is the Sheriff is using 'personnel matters' as a convenient excuse to deny the public access to the history of outrageously corrupt, abusive, inept officers who are no more than criminals themselves.

He's protecting his outrageously corrupt, abusive, inept jackbooted bastards.  Worse, the standards imposed by sheriff's offices statewide with the exception of metropolitan counties are well below those of DPS and city police departments.  Why?  So the corruption, abuse, ineptness, and outright stealing can continue unabated?  This has to change.  ... Can't have that, can we?  Sheriff?  TL?

The public should understand Llano County authorities have it all sewn up.  Did you know the Texas Attorney General does not have the authority to investigate and prosecute County authorities on his own?  The District Attorney has to call for an investigation by the Texas Rangers.  Then, the State can prosecute if it so chooses.

Consequently?  Guess what?  Nothing will happen.  Nothing ever does.  The goddamned corruption continues unabated until you, the public, pressure authorities.  Precisely, why we all enjoy the 'best' government money can buy. Literally.  Without question, the corrupt, abusive, inept sons of bitches are all bought and paid for.  Firmly clamped to the taxpayer tit.  Dependent on money looted from innocent citizens caught in their web.  Phony fines and court costs cleverly designed to f--k the innocent and enrich the pieces of shit who falsely believe they run and own Llano County. Right, Sheriff?  TL?  "Sonny Boy?"  Madam County Attorney?

Interestingly, the former Sheriff and District Attorney were reportedly forced to retire after an outrageous scandal involving a drunk driving police officer from out of town.  Including special treatment of the drunken son of a bitch that no other citizen caught doing the same would have been afforded.  An honest, honorable Llano County Deputy suffered the consequences. Forget? Great officers do not last in this hell hole County. ... Right, Sheriff?  TL?  "Sonny Boy?"  Madam County Attorney?

With all ongoing abuse in this goddamned County, one thing remains for damned sure.  We're just getting started, Sheriff.  You will continue to be exposed for whom and what you and your corrupt, abusive, inept jackbooted bastards have become, truly are, not what you phonies purport to be, that is, how you continue to f--k over a public you've falsely sworn to protect and defend.  -- Exposure, the only way short of an unwanted dreaded revolution to force desperately needed change in a goddamned fascist police-state. The Fourth Reich.

Have your jackbooted thugs been tested for steroids, Sheriff?  If you've nothing to hide, Bill, release the results of all drug testing.  'Personnel matters?'  Bullshit.  Looted taxpayers have the right to know.  They're footing the bill for all this goddamned corruption, abuse, ineptness. When will you and the boys end the shakedowns?  Looting of the innocent to line County coffers?  No honor at all?

Where are your swastika armbands, you fascist son of a bitch?  You and your thugs remain out of uniform.  Once again, Sheriff, and ad nauseum, did you and/or your goons pressure Schilling to exit the race?  Did you steal the election? If so, an aggressively stupid, achingly gutless public gets what it truly deserves.  One of the most corrupt, abusive, inept 'law' 'enforcement' agencies in our formerly great country.

While the business and church communities stood tall during the recent Kingsland flood catastrophe, there was one glaring exception.  On 10-17-18, the Antlers Coffee Shop closed due to storm-related failure of the Kingsland water system. Patrons, however, are routinely allowed to get online outside even when the shop is closed.

A long-term coffee shop customer entered the hotel lobby to ask the desk clerk whether wifi was still up and running after the catastrophe.  She said it was and told the patron he could get online inside the closed shop.  She then asked him to have another regular customer who had just arrived outside to come in and get out of the cold as well.

Antlers co-proprietor Rick apparently quickly got wind of both customers, made quite a jackass of himself emulating the petulant narcissist currently occupying the Oval Office.  Aggressive stupidity at a time the Kingsland business community is indeed suffering, can least afford it.  Further proof positive of the old adage 'can fix ignorant, can't fix stupid.'

Why would, why should both customers put up with this?  Think this hasn't happened to others?

Highly reminiscent of our outrageously bought and paid for judiciary, Llano County prosecutors, Sheriff Bill Blackburn and his criminal SS jackbooted bastards in black who continue to egregiously disgrace themselves and the badge, do as they please regardless of the law and Constitution, carefully consider the following.  It's appalling.  Runs against the grain of everything our formerly great country once stood for.  No longer.

Llano County DA "Sonny Boy" is in the news.  Received an award.  The DailyTrib reports:

"The Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission recognized District Attorney Wiley “Sonny” McAfee on August 22 for his efforts in prosecuting natural and cultural resource violations as well as environmental crimes. The commission named the 33rd and 424th district attorney the 2019 Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Prosecutor of the Year. McAfee serves Burnet, Llano, Blanco, and San Saba counties. Elected in November 2012 and taking office on January 1, 2013, he has been instrumental in a number of high-profile cases involving Texas game wardens and Texas State Park police officers."

The District Attorney has ignored a complaint filed earlier by this publication regarding special treatment accorded Texas oil man Johnny Greene by the Llano County Attorney and Sheriff vis a vis a property dispute involving a local banker, three other local property owners with homes encroaching on land they don't own, one of which is on an unused Llano County road.  To say nothing of damage to a Pace Arrow motorhome on that property.  All a result of egregious abuse of authority by Llano County Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764.  The circumstances of this fiasco can be found above in each and every edition of this publication since this happened two and a half years ago.  The Sheriff, the County Attorney, and the District Attorney have all determinedly, concertedly ignored this ongoing, unresolved fiasco raising one ferociously pointed question.  How much were they bribed?

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.

7-3-20

Last three months been getting online at the Kingsland HEB.  Met quite a few readers at the picnic table.  -- People I didn't personally know, but who came up and introduced themselves.  Certainly, grateful for your concern, caring, and moral support.  One of the Front End managers, Kevin, had granted permission to plug in and access HEB Customer wifi at the picnic table some three months ago.  Someone in County government must have subsequently complained. Three months after the fact.  LOL.  Finally got the boot 6-27-20 from the achingly gutless Store Manager who couldn't, or wouldn't stand up to pressure from this asshole.

Pathetic, isn't it?  LOL.  Certainly, knew it was coming.  Hard to believe it took three months.  LOL.  Apparently, the gutless Store Manager, Monty, sent out the second in command, Dan, to deliver the happy news.  Spoke to him awhile, but sadly as expected, he had nothing substantive to say.  Other than, "leave."  LOL.  Advised him to send out the clearly reluctant Store Manager who apparently wanted to avoid the encounter.  Finally, came out.  Imagine that.

Asked the Store Manager, Monty Young, for a business card.  Remarkably, he had none.  Couldn't be, could it?  LOL.  An HEB Store Manager with no business card?  How is that possible?  Unlimited corporate greed?  Aryan arrogance of a privately-owned corporation?  Or, was he simply lying?  Informed him he'd indeed be front and center in this next edition.

Before getting into specific detail vis a vis my conversation with the Store Manager, it must be stated staff at the Kingsland HEB is second to none.  Have known many of them for years.  Work extremely well together as a team.  Certainly, exceptionally customer-friendly.  The problem with this store is not staff.  Not even the Store Manager and Assistant Manager per se, -- who apparently, despite their denials, had been pressured by someone.  It's the HEB corporate management suite at the root of most of the problems at this store.

The following salient issues were discussed with the Store Manager before I left.  -- Interestingly, none of which he denied.  LOL.  Readers, have you noticed cheaper generic products are either continually out of stock or discontinued?  Especially, after the store changed its product line weeks before the pandemic.  Apparently, in an effort to emulate the Marble Falls store that caters to the Horseshoe Bay elite.

New larger shopping carts were brought in to the Kingsland store so shoppers would supposedly buy more product, increase store sales.  Shelves are restocked 24 hrs.  Staff was unhappy because aisles are too narrow for the larger carts.  Makes it harder to stock shelves when the store is open.  Not only that, makes it much more difficult for shoppers to navigate the narrow aisles.

Product pricing has steeply increased.  They accomplish this both by directly raising prices, as well as in engaging in deception, that is, downsizing product.  One recent glaring example is their generic bleach.  For awhile, it was unavailable, out of stock.  Then, it was downsized from three quarts to two.  Price remained at $1.  A 33% increase.  Done deceptively.  At a time when inflation is supposedly non-existent.  What ever happened to the HCF quart and a half ice cream that sold for $1.99?  Long since gone.  Both aforementioned products had already been downsized once before.  LOL.  List can go on and on.  Unbridled corporate greed.

As I reminded the Store Manager, Kingsland residents, for the most part, are poor, young, elderly, and/or disabled, etc.  This store now caters to the rich who live on the lake and Sunrise Beach.  Not sustainable.  ... Especially, if the shit finally hits the fan vis a vis the Trump nazi, and/or a second shutdown occurs courtesy of the raging, poorly-handled, achingly mismanaged pandemic.

To store employees, all of whom I admire, consider personal friends, courageously provide your ongoing grievances to this publication.  I will publish them while protecting your identity.  If you won't stand up, nothing changes.

As I informed the Store Manager, the problem in Kingsland is the fact HEB has no substantive competition.  What is desperately needed is a Walmart or other major corporation to rattle the cage of local HEB management as well as the corporate management suite.  Until that occurs, nothing changes, shit happens.  ... Right, Monty?  Dan?

In the last two and a half weeks or so, three middle-aged women tripped and fell on the curb by the picnic table.  Third time, 6-26-20.  Took the Store Manager and Assistant Manager quite some time to exit the store and arrive with ice to quell the swelling of the woman who had fallen hard on her face.  I subsequently asked Monty to consider painting the curb iridescent red or orange to avoid injury and a future lawsuit.

Responded couldn't be painted red since it wasn't a fire zone.  Could certainly be painted orange or some other bright color.  If management doesn't care about a lawsuit, where is its concern for the pain and suffering if a customer trips, falls, and suffers serious injury?  ... Couldn't care less, Monty?  -- Or, is it, shortsightedly, insurance will indeed take care of it?  Wake up.  Just a matter of time before someone gets seriously injured and sues the living shit out of HEB.  Even if HEB prevails in court, it loses.  Consider the cost of bad publicity.

To the credit of management, both the Store Manager and Assistant Manager return carts to the front of the store, sanitize them, and pick up trash.  Recently, associates informed me the Store Manager wasn't happy about the performance of the Assistant Store Manager.  LOL.  Apparently, ole' Dan got too good at hiding in the store, shirking cart and other duties, etc.  LOL.  That's apparently changed.  ... Trouble in paradise, boys?  LOL.  Itching to retire, Dan?  LOL.  Give me a break.  Never a dull moment, -- at customer and staff expense.

Finally, to the motherf--ker in County government who likely complained, don't flatter yourself.  Three months?  What took so long you gutless piece of shit?  LOL.  No matter what, Liberty In Peril will remain up and running.  Despite the fact it's been more than 21 years, just the very beginning.  Far more to come.  Far more County corruption, malfeasance, criminal activity to be followed up, and/or exposed.  LOL.  ... Bribed by Johnny Greene, Madam County Attorney?

Readers are advised there is a sticker on the back of the power supply stating:  "Please remove this sticker."  It cannot be easily removed.  Will not peel off.  Have hesitated to scrape it off since doing so might obliterate anything underneath it, -- if anything.  It is not covering a vent and there is no technical reason that it be removed.  Certainly, did not affect operation of the supply for the last year and four months I've had the machine.

Our country needs more officers like this one.  CBS News reports:

"He drives around in an unmarked police car, but everyone in Camden, Arkansas, knows his name. L.C. "Buckshot" Smith is the oldest police officer in the state. He's 91 years old. Smith moves a little slower, but still walks the beat of his hometown four days a week. "This badge and gun don't make you a police officer. You got to respect people," Smith said."

No question.

"He earned his popularity by working more than four decades for the Ouachita County Sheriff's Department, here he went by his childhood nickname "Buckshot." After 46 years as a deputy, he retired — for only five months. He said he didn't have any fun during those five months. "I don't hunt. I don't fish." So in his 80s, he became a rookie Camden cop. He carries a firearm, but he doesn't have to use it. Mayor Julian Lott said Smith has a more powerful weapon. "He knows your mama and he knew your grandmother. So he has the authority to speak into our lives," Lott said. Over the course of his career, Smith said he has "taken more people home than I've taken them to jail."  "He does not want to retire. In his words, to me, he'll retire when the good Lord tells him to," said chief Boyd Woody. Until then, Smith plans to keep rolling and patrolling."

Two charged in Capitol assault of officer who later died.  NBC News reports:

"Two people were arrested and charged in connection with the alleged assault of U.S. Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick, but federal authorities stopped short of charging them with his death, according to court documents. Julian Elie Khater, 32, of Pennsylvania, and George Pierre Tanios, 39 of West Virginia, were taken into custody on Sunday and accused of using spray during the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol, officials said. Sicknick died a day after the riots, and authorities suspect he may have inhaled a spray-type irritant, such as bear spray, during the riot. Khater and Tanios have been charged with assault, but not for killing Sicknick. The FBI has video of both Khater and Tanios "working together to assault law enforcement officers with an unknown chemical substance by spraying officers directly in the face and eyes," FBI Special Agent Riley Palmertree wrote in a search warrant application. There's also footage of Khater reaching into Tanois' backpack while saying, “Give me that bear sh-t" as Khater is later "seen holding a white can with a black top that appears to be a can of chemical spray," the application said. "Many of the federal police officers were injured and several were admitted to the hospital," Palmertree wrote of the Jan. 6 mayhem. "The subjects also confronted and terrorized members of Congress, Congressional staff, and the media. The subjects carried weapons including tire irons, sledgehammers, bear spray, and tasers." A body camera of one officer allegedly captured Khater "holding a canister in his right hand and aiming it in the officers’ direction while moving his right arm from side to side," Palmertree wrote. Three officers, including Sicknick, appeared to be hit with the chemical. "The officers immediately retreat from the line, bring their hands to their faces and rush to find water to wash out their eyes," Palmertree wrote. "The officers were temporarily blinded by the substance, were temporarily disabled from performing their duties and needed medical attention and assistance from fellow officers." Khater and Tanios are longtime friends, having grown up together in New Jersey, according to the court document. Tanios is the owner and operator of the Sandwich University restaurant in Morgantown."

NPR reports:

"Two men have been arrested for allegedly spraying a chemical on Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick and two other law enforcement officers, during the Jan. 6 storming of the U.S. Capitol. Sicknick died one day later; officials have recently said they're still determining what factors might have led to his death. The two men are Julian Elie Khater, 32, of State College, Penn., and George Pierre Tanios, 39, of Morgantown, W. Va. They were arrested Sunday, charged with "conspiring to injure officers and assaulting federal officers" and other crimes, the Justice Department says. Tanios was arrested at his home; Khater was arrested as he was getting off an airplane at New Jersey's Newark Airport. Sicknick died one day after he sustained injuries during the attack by a mob of Trump supporters who were attempting to block Congress from certifying President Biden's victory over the former president. Shortly after the Capitol Police officer died, the Justice Department opened a federal murder investigation into Sicknick's death. News of the pair of arrests comes two weeks after the FBI singled out a person who was seen spraying a substance on Sicknick and other law enforcement officers. At the time, the Capitol Police emphasized the medical examiner's report into Sicknick's death was not yet complete, adding that they were still awaiting toxicology results. During a standoff with police at the Capitol, Khater asked Tanios to "give me that bear s*it," according to the Justice Department, citing video footage from the scene. After pulling a canister from Tanios' backpack, Khater moved to the front of the crowd, next to the police perimeter. He then raised his hand, aimed the canister at Sicknick and two other officers who were standing just a few feet away, and waved his arm from side to side, the agency says. The three officers – Sicknick and C. Edwards from the Capitol Police and D. Chapman from Washington's Metropolitan Police – were immediately forced to retreat, "holding their hands to their faces and rushing to find water to wash out their eyes," the Justice Department said. The agency did not provide the officers' first names."

Excellent investigative work:

"Investigators say they were alerted to Khater and Tanios by tips from the public, including one person who said they "knew each other and grew up together in New Jersey," according to a criminal complaint and affidavit in the case. At the Capitol, Tanios was seen wearing a hoodie bearing the logo of the Sandwich University restaurant in Morgantown, known for its "Fat Sandwich." A witness told the FBI that Tanios owns the "Fat Sandwich" restaurant, and social media accounts show that "George Pierre Tanios" is affiliated with the account "kingofthefatsandwich." Khater was located after a tip pointed investigators to his LinkedIn page – which they then used to contact a witness who identified him. The witness said they had worked with Khater at a "food establishment" in State College. Both Khater and Tanios face "one count of conspiracy to injure an officer; three counts of assault on a federal officer with a dangerous weapon; one count of civil disorder; one count of obstructing or impeding an official proceeding; one count of physical violence on restricted grounds, while carrying dangerous weapon and resulting in significant bodily injury; and one count of violent entry and disorderly conduct, act of physical violence on Capitol grounds," the Justice Department says."

No longer.

Fifteen-year-old boy murdered.  The Washington Post reports:

"Five Oklahoma City police officers were charged in the fatal shooting of a 15-year-old boy who was a robbery suspect last year, according to court records filed Wednesday. Officers Bethany Sears, Jared Barton, Corey Adams, John Skuta and Brad Pemberton face first-degree manslaughter charges in the death of Stavian Rodriguez during a reported armed robbery at a gas station last November."

Why weren't they charged with murder?  Special treatment?

"Stavian died of 13 gunshot wounds, according to a probable cause affidavit from the Oklahoma County district attorney’s office, and the officers are accused of unnecessarily shooting at him after they simultaneously gave the teen varying commands. Police say the boy was initially armed, but Stavian’s family and the district attorney contend that he complied with officers to drop his weapon and was unarmed when they started shooting."

Called murderWhy did they receive special treatment?

"All five officers are on paid administrative leave, Oklahoma City Police Capt. Dan Stewart said in a news release to The Washington Post. If convicted, the officers, all of whom each have less than six years of experience, face at least four years in prison and could face up to a life sentence. A sixth officer, Sarah Carli, was not charged because she fired a less-lethal weapon, police said. The charges handed down from the teen’s death offer the latest instance in the United States in which multiple officers face murder or manslaughter charges in a fatal police-related shooting. In the trial of Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer charged in the death of George Floyd faces multiple murder and manslaughter charges, while the three other officers involved also face murder charges. In Oklahoma City, it’s the second time in as many weeks that a police officer has been charged with first-degree manslaughter in a fatal shooting."

Here's the problem:

"Yet it remains rare for several officers to face charges in these fatal shootings. As The Post reported last year, 110 nonfederal law enforcement officers have been charged with either murder or manslaughter for shooting someone on duty since 2005, according to Philip M. Stinson, a criminologist at Bowling Green State University in Ohio who tracks such cases. Of those cases tracked by Stinson, nearly half of them ended in acquittals or dismissals."

No justice.  Special treatment accorded these murderers in blue.  Why?

"On Nov. 23, 2020, police responded to an armed robbery call at the Okie Gas Express south of downtown Oklahoma City at around 7 p.m. It was the second time Stavian was in the gas station that day, police say, as he and an accomplice, 17-year-old Wyatt Cheatham, had previously loaded multiple packs of cigarettes into a backpack. After the store clerk had left through the gas station’s drive-through window and locked Stavian inside, the teen was given several different commands from police to exit the store, according to the affidavit. Released surveillance footage shows that Stavian left the store through the drive-through window with his arms raised before dropping his gun. Body-cam video of the five officers released Wednesday shows police barking orders that were difficult to understand as they yelled over each other. None of the officers’ body-cam footage offers a clear view of the events beforehand or a visual of Stavian. “Show us your hands, sir,” one of the officers said to him over the loud speaker. “Nobody has to get hurt.” Then officers began yelling different things at the 15-year-old — “Hands!” “Face down! On the ground!” “Drop it!” As Stavian appeared to have his hands in his pockets, Carli fired a nonlethal round that struck the teen, according to the district attorney. Almost immediately, the five officers — Sears, 30, Barton, 33, Adams, 28, Skuta, 34, and Pemberton, 31 — began firing a barrage of lethal rounds that hit him numerous times in three seconds. Investigators found that Stavian had no other weapons on him at the time.

Monkey see, monkey do.  Shoot first, ask questions later.  What the f--k is wrong with these murderous assholes?

“A cellphone was recovered from the left rear pocket he had his hand in at the time he was shot,” the affidavit said. On the body-cam video, Stavian is heard wincing in pain as officers yelled at the motionless teen to show his hands. At least one of the officers, Skuta, assessed what had happened and repeatedly muttered one word: “Dammit.” ‘I think it’s a cap gun,’ the police officer said. He opened fire on an eighth-grader moments later. Cheatham, the accomplice, confessed in December to planning and committing robbery. The 17-year-old was also charged with first-degree murder because of a state law that permits an accomplice to face such a charge when an alleged robber is killed in the act — even by police."

How about that?  Nazi justice.

Gets worse.  Get this:

"Kyle Sweet, an attorney representing the officers, defended the officers’ use of force in a statement to The Post, echoing the support from the Oklahoma City Fraternal Order of Police. “We are proud to represent these officers and, with respect to the tragic loss of life, we strongly believe their use of force was justified, and we are ready to make that argument in a court of law,” Sweet said."

Day is night, night is day, and shit smells perversely sweet in the world of insane law enforcement.  ... Hear the rumble?  An unwanted, dreaded second American revolution catastrophically looms.

"Rand Eddy, the attorney representing Stavian’s family, likened the shooting of the teen to that of a firing squad, accusing police of misleading the public about the shooting, the Oklahoman reported. Adriana Laws, an advocate for Stavian’s family, criticized police for the confusing series of events that ended the 15-year-old’s life. While the charges do bring some relief, she told KFOR that they can’t undo the 13 shots that struck Stavian. “It doesn’t change my opinion about this being an egregious murder,” she said."

No question.  While that kid deserved arrest, he didn't deserve execution.

In follow-up to last week's edition, The Associated Press reports:

"A judge on Thursday granted prosecutors’ request to add a third-degree murder count against a former Minneapolis police officer charged in George Floyd’s death, offering jurors an additional option for conviction and resolving an issue that might have delayed his trial for months. Hennepin County Judge Peter Cahill reinstated the charge after the former officer, Derek Chauvin, failed to get appellate courts to block it. Cahill had earlier rejected the charge as not warranted by the circumstances of Floyd’s death, but an appellate court ruling in an unrelated case established new grounds. Chauvin already faced second-degree murder and manslaughter charges. Legal experts say the additional charge helps prosecutors by giving jurors another option to find Chauvin guilty of murder. Cahill told potential jurors after the ruling that he still expects opening statements on March 29."

The murders never end. The Washington Post reports:

"The man wielding a knife ambled toward Rochester, N.Y., police officers on a darkened city street early on Wednesday.

“Drop the knife now,” one officer says in body-camera footage.

“Just shoot me,” the man said, a plea he repeated multiple times as he walked toward the backpedaling officers.

"As he picked up his pace, one officer running backward warned, “Back up right now!”

"Seconds later, the officer fired five times, hitting the man at least once in his upper body, police said. He was pronounced dead less than an hour later."

Called murder.  The officers could have used batons or Tasers to disarm him.

"At a news conference later on Wednesday, police said the officer who fired is on administrative leave pending internal and criminal investigations. Authorities have not yet identified the victim or the officer."

Why not?  The public is entitled to this information.

“Any time you see one of these videos it’s heartbreaking — it’s hard to look at,” Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren (D) said at the news conference. “No person can look at this video and think that, ‘Oh, this is okay.'"

It's not.  This victim needed mental help.  Instead, got killed.

"The shooting brings more scrutiny to the Rochester Police Department, which has faced local and national backlash over its handling of mental health crises, including in its treatment of Daniel T. Prude, a 41-year-old Black man who died last year after officers covered his head with a hood. Warren acknowledged the force will face difficult questions in the latest shooting. “A number of questions always come to mind: Could this have ended differently? Could a Taser or other less than lethal force have been used? Could the officer have continued retreating?” Warren said. “Then I realized hindsight is 20-20 and that I personally see things through a different lens.”

You're gutlessly making excuses for these outrageously gutless jackbooted bastards.  ... Proud of yourself, Madam Mayor?  No question, you're part of the problem.

"The shooting happened after police were dispatched to the Open Door Mission, a homeless shelter in downtown Rochester, at 2:55 a.m. on Wednesday, interim police Chief Cynthia Herriott-Sullivan said during Wednesday’s news conference. A staff member at the shelter reported that a man she did not recognize stole several knives from a kitchen and ran out. He then started cutting himself with the knives, the Democrat and Chronicle reported. Once officers arrived on the scene, they instructed the man to “drop the knife” several times, body-camera footage shows. Police retreated as the man started walking toward them and yelling threats. “Okay, I need you to not kill me for Jesus, and I need you to drop that knife right now,” one officer said, responding to a comment that is inaudible in the body-camera footage. The man repeated “I’m dangerous” several times and told the officers to shoot him. “Come on man, we don’t got to go down this road,” the officer responded. Moments later the man ran toward the officer, which prompted him to discharge his weapon. “God damnit,” the officer said. The officers, who had retreated about 400 feet since encountering the man, according to police, immediately started attending to his wounds. “C’mon man, stick with us,” one officer said. The man was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital and pronounced dead at 3:55 a.m., police said."

Had batons been used to disarm him of the knife, this mentally ill man would likely be still alive.  ... And these officers not living with the guilt of having killed a man with mental issues.

"The New York Attorney General’s office is reviewing the incident to determine if they have jurisdiction over the case, police said. Herriott-Sullivan said officers called for nonlethal options, including a beanbag gun and Taser, but they didn’t arrive in time." “This incident occurred over several minutes, which is not enough time for those resources … to arrive,” she said."

That raises the question why aren't these officers armed not only with a firearm but also with batons and Tasers?

"Warren encouraged residents to be patient and trust Herriott-Sullivan as her force reviews the incident. “I know despite how these videos make us all feel, make her feel,” Warren said, referring to Herriott-Sullivan. “I’m asking you to trust her, to trust her team to evaluate, to research, and review, then to come before you, the people of our community, and let you know exactly what happened here, how it happened, and what she believes is the next step to move forward.”

Trust in law enforcement remains severely strained throughout our formerly great country, but particularly so in Rochester.

"The Rochester Police Accountability Board said it had not reviewed the video as of late Wednesday. The Board’s chair, Shani Wilson, said in a statement that “this latest incident may raise the same questions our community has been asking for months about officer training, RPD culture, and the Person in Crisis Team,” she said, referring to a recent initiative to send mental health professionals to help with some crises. The team was put in place amid a number of contentious cases that have rocked the department since Prude’s death. In February, body-camera footage showed an officer pepper-spraying a 9-year-old girl in the midst of a mental crisis. Last week, police released body-camera footage showing another officer pepper-spraying a woman in front of her 3-year-old daughter."

Readers will recall these cases were covered earlier in this publication.

Get this.  A remarkable 'Catch-22:'

"Asked why the Person in Crisis Team was not sent to the scene in Wednesday’s shooting, Herriott-Sullivan said the unit couldn’t respond because the man was armed. “Right now at this point — for the PIC Team — when you have a person with a weapon, for their safety, they’re not sent to these calls,” she said."

In such circumstances, why couldn't they be sent in with officers as back-up?

"Wilson said the shooting should be a wake-up call to police to respond to the accountability board’s demands for transparency in all its cases. “This latest incident spotlights the need for immediate attention to our repeated, unfulfilled requests for information,” Wilson said. “The community deserves a full and transparent review of all these incidents.”

That's right.  Not only that and worse, far worse, the lack of transparency for whatever the reason, including an ongoing investigation, destroys all credibility of law enforcement.

More of the same old shit.  Can they ever get it right?  The Associated Press reports:

"An investigation into the official response to Daniel Prude’s police suffocation death last year in Rochester, New York, is faulting the city’s mayor and former police chief for keeping critical details of the case secret for months and lying to the public about what they knew."

Precisely, why government has no credibility.

Get this:

"The report, commissioned by Rochester’s city council and made public Friday, said Mayor Lovely Warren lied at a September press conference when she said it wasn’t until August that she learned officers had physically restrained Prude during the March 23, 2020, arrest that led to his death."

How about that?

"Warren was told that very day that officers had used physical restraint, the report said, and by mid-April she, then-Police Chief La’Ron Singletary and other officials were aware that Prude had died as a result and that the officers were under criminal investigation. “In the final analysis, the decision not to publicly disclose these facts rested with Mayor Warren, as the elected mayor of the city of Rochester,” said the report, written by New York City-based lawyer Andrew G. Celli Jr. “But Mayor Warren alone is not responsible for the suppression of the circumstances of the Prude arrest and Mr. Prude’s death.”

Every goddamned one of them needs to be held accountable.

Get this.  It's ludicrous:

"Warren said in a statement that she welcomed the report “because it allows our community to move forward.” “Throughout city government, we have acknowledged our responsibility, recognized that changes are necessary and taken action,” she said, citing various measures on police practices and discipline."

Why haven't you resigned in disgrace, Madam Mayor?

"In her statement, Warren didn’t address the report’s specific assessments of her own conduct."

What could she say?  How do you excuse the inexcusable?

"Messages seeking comment were left with Warren’s spokesperson, who was among the officials scrutinized in the investigation, and a lawyer for Singletary. The Prude family’s lawyer was reviewing the report and had no immediate comment. The report said Singletary told the mayor that the officers restrained Prude, but the chief “consistently deemphasized” the role of restraints in his death, and his statements to Warren and other officials didn’t “capture the disturbing tenor of the entire encounter.”

Protected and coddled the criminal jackbooted bastards responsible, his department, and the city.

"Singletary’s characterization “likely impacted” how city officials viewed the matter, the report said. Warren claimed to the public that Singletary initially told her that Prude’s death was a “drug overdose,” but Friday’s report said he never told her that. Singletary, meanwhile, made “untrue statements by omission” when he failed to correct Warren’s claim during a September news conference that she was not informed that Prude’s death had been ruled a homicide, the report said. It said Singletary told her of the finding on April 13. Additionally, the report said, a city lawyer in August discouraged Warren from publicly disclosing Prude’s arrest or commencing disciplinary action against the officers after she viewed body-worn camera footage of the encounter for the first time."

Outrageous malfeasance.  The bastard needs to be disbarred:

"The lawyer incorrectly stated that the city was barred from taking action against the officers while the state attorney general’s office was investigating Prude’s death, the report said. The body-camera video, made public by Prude’s family in early September, shows Prude handcuffed and naked with a spit hood over his head as an officer pushes his face against the ground, while another officer presses a knee to his back. The officers held him down for about two minutes until he stopped breathing. He was taken off life support a week later."

Coup de grace?

"A grand jury last month declined to indict the officers involved."

Crock of shit:

"Lawyers for the seven police officers suspended over Prude’s death have said the officers were strictly following their training that night, employing a restraining technique known as “segmenting.” They claimed Prude’s use of PCP, which caused irrational behavior, was “the root cause” of his death. Rochester’s city council authorized the independent investigation into the handling of Prude’s death within days of the video being made public and voted to give investigators the power to subpoena city departments. Celli, in the report, noted that the decision to inform the public of a significant event “is a policy judgment, and a political one, not a legal one,” and that there are no written rules or standards in Rochester governing the mayor or other officials in such matters. “It is not for the special council investigator to pass judgment on whether the decisions by Rochester officials not to disclose the arrest and death of Daniel Prude were right or wrong,” Celli wrote. “The judges of that question are the citizens of the city of Rochester and the public at large.”

Think this bastard could have been bought and paid for?

"The report also confirms that Rochester police commanders urged city officials to hold off on publicly releasing the body camera footage of Prude’s suffocation death because they feared violent blowback if it came out during protests over the May 25 police killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis. In a June 4 email, Deputy Chief Mark Simmons cited the “current climate” in the city and the nation and advised Singletary to press the city’s lawyers to deny a Prude family lawyer’s public records request for the footage of the encounter that led to his death. “We certainly do not want people to misinterpret the officers’ actions and conflate this incident with any recent killings of unarmed Black men by law enforcement nationally,” Simmons wrote. “That would simply be a false narrative, and could create animosity and potentially violent blow back in this community as a result.” “Totally agree,” Singletary replied, according to the emails."

These self-serving pieces of human excrement served their own best interests, those of the department and its murderous officers, to say nothing of the city and its officials.  Justice?  What's that?

"Rochester officials released the emails last fall, along with police reports and other documents. Warren fired Singletary and suspended the city lawyer, Corporation Counsel Tim Curtin, and communications director Justin Roj without pay for 30 days in response to fallout over the case. Prude’s death sparked several weeks of nightly protests and calls for Warren’s resignation. His family has filed a federal lawsuit alleging the police department sought to cover up the true nature of Prude’s death."

Exactly right.  Nazi justice.

No justice.

Too busy lining County coffers with bogus tickets?

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.  Forfeiture of liberty.  At the hands of outrageously corrupt and abusive government.

No longer.

Consider the following.  It's heartrending.  The Washington Post reports:

"Five months before George Floyd died beneath the knee of a Minneapolis police officer, launching a global uprising for racial justice, Safiya Satchell found herself in a similar situation. A police officer had dragged Satchell out of her vehicle after a dispute in a nightclub, kicked her to the ground and pressed his knee into her neck, according to video of the incident and court records. Satchell tried to scream, but her words were stifled by the officer’s knee jammed into the airway of her 115-pound body, she said. That officer, who has since been fired and charged with assaulting Satchell, is awaiting trial. But before she testifies in her own case, Satchell will be closely following a case 1,800 miles away. She says she believes if Derek Chauvin, the officer charged with second- and third-degree murder in Floyd’s death, is convicted in a trial beginning this month in Minneapolis, there’s a chance that the officer who pinned her to the ground in January 2020 will meet the same fate. “I hope they find justice for George Floyd,” said Satchell, 34. “He lost his life, but I am still here to tell my story.” On Friday, the city of Minneapolis agreed to pay Floyd’s family a record $27 million to settle a wrongful-death lawsuit in his May 25 death. Police officers rarely suffer legal consequences for deaths and assaults allegedly committed while on duty, with Black Americans disproportionately the victims in those encounters. But for many, Chauvin’s trial — which hinges in part on a distressing video that shows the White officer kneeling on Floyd’s neck as the Black man pleads for air and calls for his deceased mother — has the potential to be a turning point in that long history. It is an especially sensitive topic here in Miami Gardens, where many residents have searing memories of South Florida’s racial unrest following jury acquittals of police officers in the 1980s. Miami Gardens is also the hometown of Trayvon Martin, the teenager whose death at the hands of a “neighborhood watchman” in Florida nearly a decade ago ignited the Black Lives Matter movement. Over the past year, protests for racial justice swept the country again, a national racial reckoning fueled by the deaths of Ahmaud Arbery in Georgia, Breonna Taylor in Louisville and Daniel Prude in Rochester, N.Y., all of whom were Black. But many African American scholars and legal observers say that when it comes to shaping perceptions about the fairness of the justice system, the Chauvin trial may become the most consequential legal proceeding since the 1992 acquittal of four White officers in the beating of motorist Rodney King in California. Some say the case could reverberate even deeper into history, with historian and UCLA professor Brenda Stevenson comparing the legal response to Floyd’s death to the case of Emmett Till, a 14-year-old Black youth who was tortured and lynched in 1955 in Money, Miss., after he was accused of whistling at a White woman. An all-White jury acquitted the alleged assailants. “Every aspect of this case is going to be talked about and analyzed and pulled apart. … It’s going to be taken up as a case study of race and justice in America,” Stevenson said of the Chauvin trial. “It will be a defining cultural moment for people born after the Civil Rights movement.” As Black Americans watch Chauvin’s trial, Stevenson added, they will see it “through the eyes of their own lives” and that of “their families and communities,” including in places such as Miami Gardens."

Report goes on and on.  Hopefully, there'll be desperately needed change.  If not, hear the rumble?  An unwanted, dreaded second American revolution catastrophically looms.

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.  Forfeiture of liberty.  At the hands of outrageously corrupt and abusive government.

Floyd lawsuit settled.  The Associated Press reports:

"The city of Minneapolis on Friday agreed to pay $27 million to settle a civil lawsuit from George Floyd’s family over the Black man’s death in police custody, as jury selection continued in a former officer’s murder trial. Council members met privately to discuss the settlement, then returned to public session for a unanimous vote in support of the massive payout. It easily surpassed the $20 million the city approved two years ago to the family of a white woman killed by a police officer. Floyd family attorney Ben Crump called it the largest pretrial settlement ever for a civil rights claim, and thanked city leaders for “showing you care about George Floyd.” “It’s going to be a long journey to justice. This is just one step on the journey to justice,” Crump said. “This makes a statement that George Floyd deserved better than what we witnessed on May 25, 2020, that George Floyd’s life mattered, and that by extension, Black lives matter.” George Floyd’s sister Bridgett Floyd, who attended jury selection earlier this week for former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin, said in a statement she was glad the lawsuit was resolved. “Our family suffered an irreplaceable loss May 25 when George’s life was senselessly taken by a Minneapolis police officer. While we will never get our beloved George back, we will continue to work tirelessly to make this world a better, and safer, place for all,” she said.

"Floyd’s family filed the federal civil rights lawsuit in July against the city, Chauvin and three other fired officers charged in his death. It alleged the officers violated Floyd’s rights when they restrained him, and that the city allowed a culture of excessive force, racism and impunity to flourish in its police force. In 2019, Minneapolis agreed to pay $20 million to the family of Justine Ruszczyk Damond, an unarmed woman who was shot by an officer after she called 911 to report hearing a possible crime happening behind her home, to settle her family’s civil rights lawsuit. [Covered earlier in this publication.] Damond was white. The federal lawsuit sought unspecified compensatory and special damages in an amount to be determined by a jury. It also sought a receiver to be appointed to ensure that the city properly trains and supervises officers in the future. It wasn’t immediately clear how the settlement might affect the trial or the jury now being seated to hear it. Joseph Daly, a professor emeritus at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, said it will be hard to stop jurors or potential jurors from hearing about it. “Judge Cahill will likely explain to the jurors that each must make a decision based solely on the evidence they hear in the criminal trial,” Daly said."

Jackbooted racist bastards.  The Associated Press reports:

"Louisiana State Police troopers joked in a group text about beating a Black man after a high-speed chase last year, saying the “whoopin” would give the man “nightmares for a long time,” according to new court filings. “He gonna be sore tomorrow for sure,” Trooper Jacob Brown, who was charged in the case and resigned Wednesday, texted three of his colleagues. “Warms my heart knowing we could educate that young man.” The May arrest of 29-year-old Antonio Harris — who authorities say was beaten by troopers even after he “immediately surrendered” — bears a strong resemblance to the State Police pursuit a year earlier that ended in the still-unexplained death of another Black motorist, Ronald Greene. Greene’s death was captured on body-worn camera footage the agency refuses to release and remains the subject of a federal civil rights investigation. Brown, 30, who faces charges in two other excessive-force cases, had pulled Harris over for a minor traffic violation on Interstate 20 in Richland Parish when Harris reentered his vehicle and fled, State Police said. The ensuing chase spanned 29 miles (47 kilometers), reached speeds of 150 mph (240 km/h) and ended only after deputy sheriffs deployed a “tire deflation device” that caused Harris to drive into a ditch, the court records show. An internal investigation found the responding troopers, who are white, attacked Harris even though he had surrendered and “laid face down (prone) on the ground and extended his arms away from his body and his legs spread apart.”

Jackbooted racist motherf--kers.

"The first arriving trooper, Dakota DeMoss, “delivered a knee strike” to Harris and slapped him in the face with an open palm before powering off his body-worn camera, the court records show. DeMoss, 28, also initiated Greene’s arrest in May 2019, though State Police have not provided any details about his involvement. Another trooper, George Harper, 26, punched Harris in the head several times with a fist “reinforced” by a flashlight and threatened to “punish” Harris, while Brown pulled the man’s hair. “At no time did Harris resist arrest,” the State Police internal investigation concluded. The troopers produced “wholly untrue” reports saying Harris was resisting and continuing to flee, the filings say, and they sought to conceal from investigators that there was bodycam video. They also exchanged 14 text messages peppered with “lol” and “haha” responses in which they boasted about the beating and mocked Harris. “BET he wont run from a full grown bear again,” Brown wrote. “Bet he don’t even cross into LA anymore,” DeMoss responded, who earlier jeered that Harris was “still digesting that ass whoopin.” “He gonna spread the word that’s for damn sure,” Harper texted back. DeMoss and Harper also are charged in Harris’ arrest and were placed on administrative leave after the internal investigation. The filings show DeMoss originally received only counseling for his role in Harris’ beating, admonished for turning his FM radio up “extremely loud” during the chase and switching stations “in order to find the right song.”

"Harris’ arrest drew new attention after a monthslong internal investigation into use-of-force incidents in the northern part of the state — a probe begun amid mounting scrutiny of the agency’s Troop F, which patrols the Monroe area and the surrounding parishes. Brown and another trooper, Randall Dickerson, 34, are also charged in a July 2019 drug arrest of another Black man after a traffic stop on Interstate 20 in Ouachita Parish. Body-worn camera captured Dickerson striking the man five times “towards his head and administering a knee strike to his body,” according to court records. Brown also was arrested in December on battery and malfeasance charges in another incident involving a man who says authorities followed him to his house, dragged him from his car and beat and kicked him, breaking his ribs. Federal authorities separately are investigating troopers from the same troop in the death of Greene. Troopers initially blamed 49-year-old’s death on a crash at the end of a high-speed chase. But photos of Greene’s car showed little damage and his family’s attorney says bodycam footage shows troopers choking and beating the man, repeatedly jolting him with stun guns and dragging him face-down across the pavement." No justice.  NBC News reports:

"A large group of demonstrators gathered on Saturday to mark the first anniversary of the death of Breonna Taylor, who was fatally shot in her apartment by police officers executing a no-knock search warrant. “All eyes are on Louisville today," Bianca Austin, Taylor’s aunt, told the crowd. "And we are here to represent Breonna with dignity and respect." Taylor’s death and name continue to energize a racial justice movement in Louisville and elsewhere. “A year later we are still demanding justice for Breonna Taylor and all the other Black individuals who have fallen at the hands of our criminal justice system and we are demanding change,” said Angie Strickler, 48, who traveled from Indianapolis to Louisville for the anniversary. Sisters Michelle and Ashley Monterrosa, who came from California, said they understand the Taylor family's pain. “We are here to show support for Taylor’s family, while also honoring the loss of our brother Sean who was killed by the police,” Michelle Monterrosa, 25, said as she fought back tears. Ashley Monterrosa, 20, added: “We’re tired of the criminal justice system failing us. This is a movement, not a moment, and we must stand strong.”

This case has been covered repeatedly in this publication.  Readers will recall:

"Taylor, an emergency room technician, was with boyfriend Kenneth Walker when plainclothes officers entered her apartment in the early morning hours of March 13 of last year to serve a no-knock search warrant in a drug case. Walker, who had a license to carry a weapon, called 911 believing the raid was a home invasion and opened fire, wounding one of the officers in the leg. Police then returned fire, and Taylor was killed. She was 26."

Legalized murder.  In a de facto fascist police-state.  Democratic republic in name only.

"Taylor's home was raided in a narcotics investigation of her former boyfriend, Jamarcus Glover. Her family has said Glover lived in a different part of the city and was already in police custody when Taylor's home was raided. The deaths of Taylor in Louisville and of George Floyd while he was in Minneapolis police custody, and the initial decisions not to charge the individuals involved in the killing of Ahmaud Arbery near Brunswick, Georgia, fueled a summer of international protests against systemic racism."

For damned good reason.  Nazi justice.

"Despite the outcry against Taylor's shooting, no charges were brought in direct connection with Taylor's death. "I will never understand the unimaginable grief of Tamika Palmer and other family and loved ones, but I am committed to listening and working with others to build a more equitable and fair commonwealth for every Kentuckian," Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear said in a statement."

Empty, hollow, meaningless rhetoric.

More of the same:

"Meanwhile, Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer said on Twitter that Taylor's death was a "horrible tragedy" and "the loss to her family, friends, and our city is still palpable." "Her death resonates still in our city and around the world, underscoring the need to reform systems and act more urgently to advance racial justice and equity," Fischer said."

Sad, isn't it?

"Shameka Parrish-Wright, co-chair of the Kentucky Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression and manager of the Louisville Bail Project, said the city of Louisville has made some progress by rolling out Breonna’s Law, which bans no-knock warrants, but encouraged the state to do the same. “No-knock warrants aren’t just a Louisville issue," she said. "It’s a statewide problem. We must protect Black lives.” Carmen Jones, 24, a Louisville resident, said the city is “showing resistance and strength” on the anniversary of Taylor’s death. “Breonna Taylor isn’t going anywhere," she said. "And we won’t stop saying her name."

NPR reports:

"Before Breonna Taylor's name became synonymous with police violence against Black Americans, she was an emergency medical technician in Louisville, Ky. The 26-year-old Black woman's friends and family say she was beloved, and relished the opportunity to brighten someone else's day. Exactly one year ago, Louisville police gunned her down in her home. Now, her name is a ubiquitous rallying cry at protests calling for police reforms, and many social justice advocates point to her story as an example of how difficult it can be to hold police accountable for violent acts."

Sadly, near impossible.  Hopefully, that's changing.  ... Hear the rumble?  An unwanted, dreaded second American revolution catastrophically looms.

"The Louisville incident unfolded during a botched narcotics raid, when officers forced their way into her apartment in the early morning hours of March 13, 2020. Taylor was not the target of the raid and the suspect police were searching for was not at Taylor's home. A year after Taylor's death, none of the officers who fired their service weapons — a total of 32 rounds — face criminal charges directly over Taylor's killing. At least three officers with connections to the raid have been terminated from the force. In September, the city of Louisville announced a $12 million settlement in the wrongful death lawsuit filed by Taylor's family, which also included several police reforms."

Nowhere near enough.  In no way is this justice.  No one has been prosecuted for her murder.  Instead, these criminal jackbooted bastards are protected and coddled.

"Her death has ignited a movement in Louisville and the nation for racial justice, sending thousands into our streets and cities all across the country and the world all crying out for justice for Breonna," Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer said at a press briefing announcing the settlement. City officials have also banned no-knock warrants. But many advocates believe justice has not been done, citing the lack of criminal charges and saying they want to see broader criminal justice reform."

Nowhere near reality in a de facto fascist police-state where nearly anything goes.

"Demonstrators plan to gather in downtown Louisville on Saturday to mark the anniversary of Taylor's death, member station WFPL reported. Activists say they hope to keep her memory alive and renew calls for justice, after the winter dampened on-the-ground protests. Some advocates are calling for Kentucky's Republican-controlled legislature to pass "Breonna's Law," which would ban no-knock warrants statewide. The Kentucky Senate passed a bill late last month restricting such warrants in certain situations, which many activists and Democratic lawmakers say does not go far enough. They had introduced a similar bill in the House in August, called "Breonna's Law," but the House Judiciary Committee voted on Wednesday to move forward with the Republican-sponsored proposal, according to WFPL. Louisville Democratic Rep. Attica Scott, the primary sponsor of Breonna's Law, told NPR's All Things Considered on Friday that committee officials have said they will consider proposed amendments that would bring the two bills further into alignment. She also said she had written a letter to newly-confirmed Attorney General Merrick Garland this week, asking him to fully investigate Taylor's killing. "Justice has not been served," Scott said. "Folks on the front line have been very clear that they're continuing to call for all of the officers involved in Breonna Taylor's murder to be fired, arrested and charged for her murder. They have not wavered from those demands." She said she will be attending the gathering on Saturday, describing it as one of "love, community and solidarity." Local activists have characterized it similarly. "To the LMPD and the mayor and everyone involved, we're still going to keep applying pressure," protest leader Rosie Henderson told WFPL. "But as a whole in the movement, we want to unify. That's a day that we're going to come together and unify as one."

Here's the problem:

"A year later, the pain is still fresh for Taylor's loved ones. Ju'Niyah Palmer, Taylor's sister, wrote on Instagram earlier this year that her heart was "heavy because we are only 2 months away from me not hearing, seeing or cuddling you for a whole year." Her mother, Tamika Palmer, recently filed complaints with the police department's professional standards unit against six officers for their role in the investigation that included the raid. In an Thursday interview with a Louisville CBS affiliate, Palmer expressed her frustration with the lack of accountability in the case and called on the community to continue demanding justice. "I can't believe it's a year later and we're still just asking people to do the right thing," she said. "Not to say all officers are bad, but there's no accountability."

Remains a problem all across our formerly great country.  The criminal jackbooted bastards operate with near impunity.

"Last September, after months of protests in and around Louisville, the city was braced to hear whether a grand jury would hand down criminal indictments for LMPD officers Brett Hankison, Jonathan Mattingly and Myles Cosgrove. At a press briefing Sept. 23, Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron announced no charges directly tied to Taylor's death. The grand jury handed down three criminal counts of wanton endangerment to Hankison, over shooting through Taylor's apartment into a neighboring residence. The grand jury did not charge Mattingly, who shot six times, and Cosgrove, who fired a total of 16 rounds, including what federal investigators determined to be the round that ultimately killed Taylor. Cameron, whose office took over as special prosecutor in the case in May, said at the press conference that both Mattingly and Cosgrove "were justified in their use of force."

This son of a bitch Kentucky Attorney General is clearly in the pocket of outrageously corrupt, abusive, murderous law enforcement.  Needs to be impeached, convicted, and removed from office.  Snowball's chance in a de facto fascist police-state.

"After the two officers forced their way into Taylor's apartment, her boyfriend Kenneth Walker fired on them. Walker, a licensed gun owner, has maintained that he did not hear the officers announce themselves before entering and mistook them for intruders. He fired a shot, which hit Mattingly in the leg. After Mattingly was struck, officers returned fire, according to officials. Complicating matters is the absence of video evidence in the case."

Think Cameron is not in the pocket of law enforcement?  Bought and paid for?

"Cameron, Kentucky's first Black attorney general, told reporters that "evidence shows that officers both knocked and announced their presence at the apartment." He cited the officers' statements and one additional witness as evidence, but also acknowledged there is no video or body camera footage of the officers executing the search warrant."

Why would there be any?  After all, the jackbooted bastards knew full well such evidence would have incriminated them.

"Cameron's announcement sparked fresh outrage and demonstrations in Louisville, Atlanta, Denver, and Portland, among other cities."

For damned good reason.  Called nazi justice at the hands of a 'prosecutor' who betrayed his falsely sworn oath of office to uphold the United States Constitution and rule of law.

"It added fuel to an already tense period in American society, where national protests focusing on racial justice inequities became a near-daily occurrence following high-profile police incidents with Black Americans, including George Floyd, Rayshard Brooks, Jacob Blake, Daniel Prude and others who were killed or seriously injured. Days after Cameron's press conference, Taylor's mother, Palmer, said she was "reassured ... of why I have no faith in the legal system, in the police, in the law. ... They are not made to protect us Black and brown people."

The abuse by law enforcement sadly extends to all races, ethnic groups.  Raw nazism.

"It's kind of ironic when you think about the message that is being sent from this grand jury ruling," Taylor family attorney Benjamin Crump said in September. "It's like they charged the police for missing shooting bullets into Black bodies. But not charging the police for shooting bullets into Black bodies," Crump said. In that same press conference, Crump raised questions about what evidence Cameron presented on behalf of Taylor to the grand jury. He also publicly called for the release of the transcripts of the proceedings, something that is extremely rare in grand jury cases. The court did so several weeks later, after some jurors took issue with Cameron's explanation for why no officer was directly charged in Taylor's death."

To no avail.

Get this bullshit, outrageous excuse making:

"In October, Mattingly characterized the Taylor incident as tragic, but said it was different from other recent killings of Black Americans. "It's not a race thing like people try to make it to be," Mattingly said in an interview with the ABC News and Louisville's Courier Journal. "This is not relatable to George Floyd, this is nothing like it. It's not Ahmaud Arbery. It's nothing like it." "These are two totally different type incidences. This is not us going, hunting somebody down, this is not kneeling on a neck. This is nothing like that," he said."

Called murder of someone innocent, unarmed, sleeping in her own home, her own bed, -- by the criminal jackbooted bastards in blue who broke in with a no-knock warrant.  Gets no clearer than that.

"Mattingly also vehemently denied that he is racist. Hankison was terminated from LMPD in June, after the department found he fired "wantonly and blindly" into Taylor's apartment. In January, some nine months after Taylor's killing, the department formally terminated Cosgrove and another officer connected to the incident. Both Cosgrove and Detective Joshua Jaynes, who secured the warrant for the raid on Taylor's home, were found to have violated department protocols, according to the termination letters made public on Jan. 6. LMPD officials said that for Jaynes, "the evidence in this case revealed a sustained untruthfulness violation based on information included in an affidavit completed by you and submitted to a judge." LMPD said Cosgrove violated the department's protocols on use of deadly force and failed to activate his officer-worn body camera."

To cover his criminal ass.

"The shots you fired went in three different directions, indicating you did not verify a threat or have target acquisition," the letter to Cosgrove stated. "In other words, the evidence shows that you fired wildly at unidentified subjects or targets located within the apartment."

Sadly, currently, The American Way.  In a de facto fascist police-state.  Democratic republic in name only.

"In that same batch of documents, LMPD also said that Mattingly, who was shot during the raid, was exonerated on both counts of violating department procedures on use of deadly force and de-escalation. It added, "no disciplinary action taken and the complaint will be dismissed."

Goddamned nazi justice.  Precisely, why law enforcement has no credibility.  Nor do corrupt and abusive 'prosecutors.'

"The disciplinary documents were released the same day Fischer, the Louisville mayor, formally announced that Erika Shields would be the city's next permanent police chief. Shields resigned her post as Atlanta's police chief in the immediate aftermath of the killing of Rayshard Brooks, a Black man who was shot in the back during an encounter with white officers in a Wendy's parking lot in June."

To Kentucky Attorney General Cameron, a raucous boot clicking, goose stepping, treasonous, treacherous, traitorous Seig Heil!

ABC News reports:

"Kenneth Walker, the boyfriend of Breonna Taylor, has filed a federal lawsuit against the Louisville Metro Police Department and the officers involved in the deadly shooting. The suit, filed together by multiple law firms Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky, accused the LMPD of violating his constitutional rights. The lawsuit said LMPD's actions in the raid violated Walker's Fourth Amendment rights, which prohibits unreasonable searches and seizures. "This is a very important lawsuit to vindicate Kenneth Walker's constitutional rights under the U.S. Constitution," Cliff Sloan, a Georgetown University Law Center attorney representing Walker in the suit told ABC News. "We are seeking to ensure that there is justice and accountability for the tragic and unjustified police assault on Kenneth Walker and killing of Breonna Taylor." The lawsuit was filed one day before the anniversary of Taylor's death."

What took so long?

"On March 13, 2020, plainclothes LMPD officers Myles Cosgrove, Brett Hankison and Sgt. Jonathan Mattingly, executed a no-knock warrant at the apartment where Taylor and Walker were living in Louisville, Kentucky. The officers contended that Taylor's ex-boyfriend was shipping drugs to the address. The officers broke through the door as the couple was sleeping. Walker, a licensed gun holder, said he thought someone was breaking in and fired a single shot that hit Mattingly in the leg. The officers returned with a fusillade of bullets that struck and killed Taylor, a 26-year-old medical worker. The complaint names the Louisville and Jefferson County Metro government and officers Hankison, Cosgrove and Mattingly. The complaint further accused the LMPD of "tacitly approving excessive use of force" in failing to "adequately train its officers in using reasonable (and not excessive) force." "Although Mr. Walker had committed no crime, officers on the scene took him into custody. Defendant Hankison told Mr. Walker that he was 'going to jail for the rest of [his] life,'" the complaint, obtained by ABC News, stated."

Out of control jackbooted bastards in blue.

"The raid led Walker to suffer "mental anguish, emotional distress, trauma, humiliation, embarrassment, and reputational harm," the suit said. Walker is seeking compensatory and punitive damages."

Sue the living shit out of the bastards for every dime you can getWhen the taxpayers get tired of paying out the ass, jackbooted law enforcement tactics will change.

"The LMPD told ABC News the department does not comment on pending litigation but the department has defended the officers saying they knocked and announced themselves at Taylor’s door in the incident. Walker said he heard banging at the door but when he asked who it was, they did not hear the police respond, per the lawsuit. In September, Mattingly defended his actions in an e-mail to more than 1,000 of his colleagues saying, “I know we did the legal, moral and ethical thing that night. It’s sad how the good guys are demonized, and the criminals are canonized.”

Jesus Christ.  You jackbooted sons of bitches murdered an innocent unarmed woman sleeping in her bed.  Need to be criminally prosecuted for your crime.

"In an exclusive interview with ABC News and Louisville's Courier Journal in October, Mattingly offered empathy for Taylor’s death, saying, “It was tragic. It's horrible.” When asked what he would do differently he said he would've stormed Taylor's residence without giving her time to answer, claiming the shooting wouldn't have happened if that were the case."

You murderous jackbooted bastards insanely yearn to live in a de facto fascist police-state.  The public does not.  A no-knock raid is patently jackbooted nazi.  Indicative of a fascist police-state.  Your investigation prior to the raid was faulty.  You had no probable cause.

"Walker was charged with attempted murder of a police officer in the raid. He said he fired in self-defense. The charge was dropped this week. Last year, Walker filed an ongoing state court lawsuit in Jefferson Circuit Court against the city and the LMPD. That suit claimed Walker should be exempt from criminal prosecution under Kentucky's "Stand Your Ground" law which "protects all Kentuckians who seek to protect themselves or loved ones in self-defense," according to the suit. Taylor's death sparked national protests decrying racism and police brutality. To this day, none of the officers involved in the raid have been charged in her death."

No justice.  ... Hear the rumble?  An unwanted, dreaded second American revolution catastrophically looms as our formerly great country continues to deteriorate and turn Right Wing Nazi.  A raucous boot clicking, goose stepping, treasonous, treacherous, traitorous Seig Heil!, Sgt. Mattingly?  You insane jackbooted bastards present an exigent threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties.

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.  Forfeiture of liberty.  At the hands of outrageously corrupt and abusive government.

Could it be a stonewalling judge is protecting and coddling Park Police?  In follow-up to a case covered earlier in this publication,  The Washington Post reports:

"Case of Park Police slaying of Bijan Ghaisar grinds to a halt, again."

Why?

"Since a Fairfax grand jury indicted the officers in October, a federal judge has taken no action, as both sides wait."

Why?

"One afternoon last October, the family of Bijan Ghaisar walked out of the Fairfax County courthouse with a glimmer of hope. The new county prosecutor, Steve Descano (D), had just told them that he had obtained manslaughter indictments against the two U.S. Park Police officers who shot Ghaisar to death as he sat behind the wheel of his Jeep Grand Cherokee in November 2017. Minutes later, Descano emerged for a news conference. He said the case would unfold rapidly and probably end up in a different courthouse before a federal judge. Descano expected that the defendants would seek to dismiss the indictments, raising the supremacy clause of the U.S. Constitution that federal officers may not be prosecuted under state law. Virginia was prepared to defend its decision to charge, Descano said Oct. 15. The Fairfax prosecutor enlisted the Virginia attorney general’s office to help with the anticipated federal case, and the lawyers for Officers Lucas W. Vinyard and Alejandro Amaya did, in fact, seek to move their cases to federal court in mid-November. Various lawyers entered their appearances, including the Justice Department as an “interested party” for the officers. Then the case stopped. Senior U.S. District Judge Claude M. Hilton has been assigned the case and is also overseeing the Ghaisar family’s lawsuit against the Park Police. Despite sitting on a court that takes pride in being the “rocket docket,” and a local court rule that says the judge shall schedule cases “as promptly as possible,” Hilton has made no moves to hold any hearings on the cases or provide a pretrial briefing and discovery schedule."

Why?  Is the judge protecting the officers?

"It’s another inexplicable delay for the Ghaisar family, who waited two years for the Justice Department to decide it would not charge Vinyard and Amaya for the slaying of the unarmed motorist. In 2018, the family filed a wrongful-death suit against the Park Police, but on the eve of trial last fall, Hilton postponed that case indefinitely after the officers were indicted in Fairfax. “We have faced endless delays, obstruction and stonewalling in our pursuit of justice for Bijan,” the Ghaisars said in a statement. It took “over a year to make the names of the officers’ public, almost two years for DOJ to decline to bring charges without any transparency into its investigation and nearly three years before any criminal charges were filed against them in the Commonwealth of Virginia.”

Why?  Why all the stonewalling?  Where's the justice?

"The criminal case against the officers seems headed to a showdown over whether the supremacy clause shields the two Park Police officers from being charged in Virginia. Hilton must decide whether their actions were “necessary and proper” to perform their duties, according to legal precedent, which is likely to require a full hearing with witnesses describing the events surrounding the shooting. Hilton would have no deadline on when he must rule, and then appeals could further delay the case."

Sounds like nazi justice.

"A state criminal case being removed to federal court is not a frequent occurrence, but federal law specifies that if the court receives such a notice, the court “shall examine the notice promptly.” Fairfax prosecutors have not filed any objection to removal. And if the notice of removal appears to include the proper elements, the court “shall order an evidentiary hearing to be held promptly” on whether the case should be heard in federal court. But Hilton has done neither. He did not respond to a request for comment. Judges generally are prohibited from speaking about cases pending before them. Hilton, 80, was nominated to the bench by President Ronald Reagan in 1985, and he assumed senior status in 2005."

Could age be a factor?

"The lawyers in the case spoke cautiously, if at all, aware that Hilton holds the fate of the civil and criminal cases in his hands. “I am acutely aware of how long the community has waited for answers,” Descano said, “and no one is more eager to see this case move forward than I am.” “We continue to pursue the case vigorously,” a spokeswoman for Virginia Attorney General Mark R. Herring (D) said in an email, declining to elaborate. Amaya’s lawyer, Travis D. Tull said, “We are working diligently to move the case forward and expect it to happen shortly.” Vinyard’s lawyer, Daniel Crowley, declined to comment."

Fascinating, isn't it?  All of it, inexplicable, as well.

"Thomas G. Connolly, the lawyer for the Ghaisars, also declined to comment. But at the hearing last October when Hilton decided to postpone the civil trial so that the officers might testify in their own defense when the criminal case is finished, Connolly told the judge, “There will never be testimony by the officers in this case.” He said the possibility that Justice Department officials could change their decision about charging them meant the officers would continue to invoke their Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination, as they did in depositions for the civil suit. Connolly said he would ask the Justice Department to reconsider federal charges if a new administration took over in 2021. A new Democratic U.S. attorney general, Merrick Garland, was sworn in Thursday. Connolly also warned that if the criminal case was removed to federal court, a ruling on the officers’ motion to dismiss under the supremacy clause would probably be appealed by the losing side, possibly all the way to the Supreme Court."

Here's the problem:

“This is, once again, justice delayed and justice denied,” said Rep. Don Beyer (D-Va.), the congressman representing the district where the shooting happened, who has tried to help the Ghaisars. “We’re pushing 3½ years here. Not just for the family, but for the citizens of Northern Virginia. And people across the country I’ve spoken to know about this case. It’s just a poor reflection on the American judicial system.”

No kidding.  The judicial system desperately needs total revamp.  Has for decades.

"Ghaisar, 25, was an accountant from McLean with no criminal record when he drove down the George Washington Memorial Parkway on the evening of Nov. 17, 2017. In Alexandria, he stopped his Jeep suddenly in a lane of traffic and was struck from behind by a Toyota Corolla. Ghaisar drove off without speaking to the Corolla driver, who was working for Uber, a police report shows. Vinyard and Amaya spotted Ghaisar’s Jeep in Old Town Alexandria, followed it to the G.W. Parkway, and turned on their lights and siren to pull him over. Twice Ghaisar stopped, and twice he drove away as the officers ran at his Jeep with their guns drawn, a police video shows. The third time he stopped and then began to drive away in the Fort Hunt neighborhood of Fairfax County, and both Amaya and Vinyard opened fire, the video shows. Ghaisar was shot four times in the head. He was not armed. He died 10 days later. Video shows Park Police fired nine shots into Bijan Ghaisar’s Jeep at close range, killing him."

Called murder.

"Vinyard and Amaya gave statements to the FBI in 2019 stating they believed Ghaisar’s Jeep was headed toward Amaya and they fired to protect the officer. The FBI took over the investigation, because the Park Police are federal officers. For the next two years, no one from the government spoke to the Ghaisars while the Justice Department pondered whether to charge Vinyard and Amaya with federal criminal civil rights charges. In November 2019, the Justice Department declined charges, again not speaking with the Ghaisars before the announcement."

Raw nazism.  In a de facto fascist police-state.

"Fairfax prosecutors then picked up the case. But the Justice Department decided not to cooperate with Fairfax, in part because it was defending against the wrongful death suit filed by the Ghaisars. Last September, Descano requested a special grand jury be impaneled, which handed up indictments for involuntary manslaughter and reckless use of a firearm. On Nov. 16, lawyers for Vinyard and Amaya filed motions to remove the case to federal court, where it was assigned to Hilton. Though courts throughout the country have been upended by the coronavirus pandemic, that did not affect Hilton as he oversaw pretrial proceedings in the Ghaisars’ civil case. Depositions of witnesses were conducted virtually, briefs were filed and several hearings were conducted in Hilton’s courtroom. Due to the nature of the civil case, no jury will be needed — the judge will decide whether the United States is liable for the actions of the officers."

No justice.  Raw nazism.  Nearly always, judges in this system are biased in favor of law enforcement.

"Technically the manslaughter case remains in Fairfax. On Monday, Vinyard was in court asking Fairfax Circuit Court Judge Penney Azcarate for permission to visit a sick relative in Pennsylvania. As a condition of his bond, he and Amaya are not allowed to leave Virginia. Azcarate granted the request. Then Crowley, Vinyard’s lawyer, asked whether Vinyard could travel to Pennsylvania next month for an annual family trip. Azcarate, citing the serious nature of the case, said no. Vinyard and Amaya were on paid administrative duty for nearly three years, until their indictment last fall, at which time they were placed on paid leave and their service weapons were taken away, the Park Police said."

Fascinating, isn't it?  A paid 'vacation.'

“We are, again, facing another year of countless days, birthdays and holidays without Bijan’s killers being held accountable,” the Ghaisars said. “The delays are cruel, but no matter how long it takes, we will keep fighting.”

Uncommon Valor.  Never, ever, never give up.

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.  Forfeiture of liberty.  At the hands of outrageously corrupt and abusive government.

No longer.

Nazi justice.  In a de facto fascist police-state.  ABC News reports:

"Donald Outlaw had already spent 15 years in prison for murder when he found out the man he was convicted of killing had told police with his dying breath that someone else named “Shank” had shot him."

How about that?  Fifteen years for a crime he did not commit.  Fifteen years for a crime the criminal jackbooted bastards knew he did not commit.

"Outlaw filed a federal lawsuit Wednesday against the city of Philadelphia and the two detectives who investigated the killing of Jamal Kelly in 2000. The lawsuit is just the latest example of justice now being sought over faulty or crooked police investigations and prosecutions in the city from decades before. Outlaw's attorneys allege the city and its police department turned a blind eye to unconstitutional practices by homicide detectives — withholding evidence that indicated someone else's guilt and intimidating and paying witnesses to provide false statements — that hampered Outlaw's ability to get a fair trial and violated his civil and constitutional rights."

Raw nazism.

“Mr. Outlaw’s wrongful incarceration was the direct result of egregious misconduct by Defendants," his attorneys wrote in the lawsuit filed in the U.S. Eastern District of Pennsylvania. “Defendants improperly used their power and position to coerce witnesses into making false statements and identifications, and to offer sworn testimony that they knew to be false," the attorneys wrote. "Defendants also withheld exculpatory evidence that would have demonstrated Mr. Outlaw’s innocence and deliberately disregarded information and evidence that would have demonstrated flaws in the case against him.” At Outlaw’s trial in 2004 — four years after Kelly was killed — the victim’s dying declaration that “Shank” did it was never disclosed. Statements from four witnesses who had recanted or said they signed but never read the officers’ written statement were still read to jurors, with prosecutors claiming Outlaw had intimidated them out of testifying, Outlaw’s attorneys said. In addition to the city, the lawsuit names the two detectives, Jeffrey Piree and Howard Peterman. Outlaw's attorneys say Piree investigated the cases of three other men exonerated in recent years by the conviction integrity unit of the Philadelphia prosecutor's office."

Why no criminal prosecution of each and every bastard involved in this egregious abrogation of justice?

"A city spokesperson did not immediately comment on the lawsuit. A phone call to a listing for Piree went unanswered, and a message left at a listing for Peterman was not immediately returned Wednesday. Twenty-one people have been exonerated in Philadelphia since the end of 2016, 18 of whom were released after investigations by the conviction integrity unit since 2018, when District Attorney Larry Krasner took office. Several other exonerated men have filed claims of withheld exculpatory evidence, coercion of witnesses and intimidation that led to false statements. After years of appeals, Outlaw's attorneys with the Pennsylvania Innocence Project persuaded the court to open a file that included the dying declaration and a letter from a witness saying he had hoped to be released from incarceration in exchange for his testimony. Outlaw's wife, Monique Solomon-Outlaw, also posted fliers asking anyone with information to come forward. That was more than 15 years after the shooting, but a witness did come forward saying she saw someone else fire the fatal shots. That new witness testified in 2019 with another witness from the first trial, who recanted his testimony and described how detectives had helped him concoct the story against Outlaw. A judge freed him on bail."

Insult to injury?  Get this:

"At first, prosecutors planned to retry Outlaw. But other prosecutors in the integrity unit decided there was not enough evidence, and the case was dropped. Outlaw, who declined to be interviewed about the lawsuit, has been working with the Philadelphia Anti-Drug/Anti-Violence Network, said his attorney Josh Van Naarden, a founding partner at VSCP Law. The lawsuit seeks compensation for the time spent in jail — the missed chance at educational, personal and life experiences. Pennsylvania is one of about 15 states that don't have formalized compensation programs for people exonerated and freed from prison. Philadelphia has also seen more civil lawsuits over wrongful incarceration. At the end of last year, the city had paid out more than $35 million over three years, including a $9.8 million settlement with a man freed after spending more than three decades behind bars for a murder he did not commit."

Nazi justice in a de facto fascist police-state.  Democratic republic in name only.  Ferociously pointedly, a raucous boot clicking, goose stepping, treasonous, treacherous, traitorous Seig Heil!?  -- Adolf Hitler and Benito  Mussolini would have been proud.  Likely cheering on their fiery perches.

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.  Forfeiture of liberty.  At the hands of outrageously corrupt and abusive government.

Clueless.  Achingly, so.  The Washington Post reports:

"Debate on police use of force exposes two starkly different realities."

One based in truth.  Other in fantasy, delusion.

"The Republican lawmakers were concerned the bill would keep police from doing their jobs."

What a crock of shit by Republican fascists who couldn't care less about the murder of innocent unarmed civilians perpetrated by the criminal jackbooted bastards in blue.

"Del. Vanessa E. Atterbeary was worried about her son."

For damned good reason.

"Late Wednesday night, Republicans in the Maryland House of Delegates offered amendments to a sweeping police-reform bill, saying officers need to be able to respond to potentially dangerous situations without worrying about being second-guessed."

These clueless Republican nazis ignore countless innocent unarmed civilians murdered by these outrageously gutless, criminal jackbooted bastards in blue.

The following is abject insanity:

"Police should be able to use whatever force another officer likely would in a similar circumstance, they argued, and should not have to exhaust all options before using lethal force, as the bill proposed."

That view would quickly change if it was one of their family members, friends, associates, etc., murdered by these criminal jackbooted bastards.

"Atterbeary, a 45-year-old Black Democrat from Howard County, rose each time to reply that police must be held to a higher standard, using force only when absolutely necessary. Anything else, she said, could jeopardize young Black and Brown men like the family members she loves."

All races and ethnic groups have been murdered by these bastards.  Not just people of color.

“This is not about being anti-police,” Atterbeary said, noting that her grandmother was the first Black woman to serve as sheriff in a town outside of Detroit. She spoke of her young son, who looks older than his nine years, and who she fears police will see as threatening in years to come. “I worry every day, literally I worry, about how he is going to [be] treated when he goes out into society, that he is going to be misjudged by his age and that people will be intimidated by his size and that people will be scared and treat him differently because he is Black,” she said, placing emphasis on her final words. The lengthy debate over the proposed use-of-force policy laid bare the different realities of those on each side of the discussion of police accountability, a conversation that has gained momentum in new ways since the viral video of the police custody death of George Floyd 10 months ago. At vigils, and protests, in local board meetings, at statehouses and on the floor of Congress, elected leaders are speaking out about their own experiences with police — or the experiences of loved ones. Del. Jason C. Buckel (R-Alleghany), whose father was a police officer, told his colleagues he knows relatives and friends who have had to use their police weapons in the line of duty and has watched the emotional toll it took on them. He pressed for an amendment that would have removed language that said an officer had to exhaust all other options before using lethal force. All officers want, he said, is to be able to “do their jobs and be able to return home at night.”

All innocent unarmed civilians want is to be able to be in their homes or travel on the roads without being murdered by a criminal jackbooted bastard in blue.  Wake up.  Edition after edition of this publication is indication that's a most valid concern.

"Officers “are often forced into making split-second judgments, decisions in circumstances that are tense, uncertain and rapidly evolving,” said Del. Wayne A. Hartman (R-Wicomico), who supported Buckel’s amendment."

Officers use the above rationale to shoot first, ask questions later.  Precisely, why they are such an exigent threat to the public.

“This standard is unrealistic, and it’s unfair. And to have that person second-guessed in that split-second decision is dangerous, not only for that person but for the community.”

The increasing number of innocent unarmed civilians murdered by the jackbooted bastards in blue screams otherwise.

"Buckel said he worried about officers being subjected to criminal charges, which the bill would impose if an officer violates the use-of-force standard in a way that causes death or serious injury."

Officers must be subject to the same laws the rest of us are.  No special treatment.  When they murder an innocent unarmed civilian, or commit any other crimes against the people they allegedly serve, they need to be immediately held criminally accountable.  That is, quickly arrested and charged.  Subject to the same penalties the rest of us are subject to.  Too many, if not most of them, remain egregiously out of control.  Present an exigent threat to the public they allegedly serve.  To life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties.

“[Officers] are not perfect, and they would not tell you that they are perfect,” Buckel said. “What I have found, not without fail, but almost without fail, [is] that the men and women who serve us are trying to do their damn best.”

That's simply not true. All races and ethnic groups have been subject to abusive policing. Too many officers get their cookies off abusing power.  Edition after edition of this publication indicates precisely that.  Republican nazis ignore the facts.  Create their own reality.  While the bottom and middle class pay the price.

The following is absolutely required:

"The legislation would require an officer to intervene if another officer violates the use-of-force standard. It would also ban chokeholds, repeal the powerful Law Enforcement Officers Bill of Rights, and change the state’s public information act to make some police complaints accessible to the public."

The above is certainly a step in the right direction.  Improves accountability.  Reduces abuse and murders committed by these jackbooted bastards.  All complaints need to be made public.  All of them.  The public has the right to know who and what is patrolling the streets.

"In addition, the measure would restrict the use of no-knock warrants and create an independent investigative unit to take the lead on examining any police-involved shooting or other police-involved incident in which someone died or was seriously injured."

About time.

"Throughout the lengthy floor session, Republicans tried to push amendments that would, among other things, strike a provision that limits the hours when search warrants can be executed between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m.; prohibit the release of records about police misconduct complaints that were not upheld; and ensure that only U.S. citizens who have never been convicted and charged with a serious crime may serve on committees that have a role in the police discipline procedures. Each amendment failed."

That's good.  Most encouraging.  About time.  To rein in the criminal jackbooted bastards in blue.

"While Republicans argued that the bill went too far, at least one Democrat — Del. Gabriel Acevero (D-Montgomery) protested that it does not go far enough."

It doesn't.  Nowhere near.

"He introduced amendments to allow local jurisdictions to have community oversight over disciplining police, require the attorney general to gather information about ties to white nationalism and policing and remove school resource officers from public schools. Each of Acevero’s amendments was backed by the Maryland Coalition for Justice and Police Accountability, a group of 90 organizations that has been calling for police accountability and transparency. They failed as well."

Extremely sad.  Without the above, the jackbooted bastards will continue to abuse power, murder on the job with impunity.

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.  Forfeiture of liberty.  At the hands of outrageously corrupt and abusive government.

Time for the New York Governor to resign.  The Associated Press reports:

"Facing unprecedented political isolation, a defiant New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo insisted on Friday that he would not step down in the wake of sexual harassment allegations and condemned the sprawling coalition of Democrats calling for his resignation as “reckless and dangerous.” The third-term Democratic governor, a leading critic of former President Donald Trump’s pandemic response, evoked the Republican in defending himself against “cancel culture.” “I’m not going to resign,” Cuomo said during an afternoon phone call with reporters. “I did not do what has been alleged. Period.” He added: “People know the difference between playing politics, bowing to cancel culture and the truth.” The embattled governor’s comments came on the day his party in New York and beyond turned sharply against him following allegations of harassment as well as sweeping criticism of Cuomo for keeping secret how many nursing home residents died of COVID-19 for months. Cuomo’s growing list of detractors now covers virtually every region in the state and the political power centers of New York City and Washington. A majority of Democrats in the state legislature and 21 of the state’s 27 U.S. House members have called on him to step down."

Needs to go.

"The escalating political crisis jeopardizes Cuomo’s 2022 reelection in an overwhelmingly Democratic state, and threatens to cast a cloud over President Joe Biden’s early days in office. Republicans across the country have seized on the scandal to try to distract from Biden’s success with the pandemic and challenge his party’s well-established advantage with female voters. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, a New York Democrat, declined to comment Friday on Cuomo’s crisis, but stood alongside Biden in a Rose Garden ceremony celebrating the passage of the Democrat-backed $1.9 trillion pandemic relief bill. Hours earlier, White House press secretary Jen Psaki declined to say whether President Biden believes Cuomo should resign. She said every woman who has come forth about harassment by the New York governor “deserves to have her voice heard, should be treated with respect and should be able to tell her story.” Dozens of Democrats had already called on Cuomo to resign this week, but the coalition of critics expanded geographically and politically on Friday to include the likes of New York City progressive Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez; the leader of the House Democratic campaign arm, Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney; Buffalo-based Rep. Brian Higgins; and a group of Long Island-based state lawmakers who had been loyal Cuomo allies. Never before has the brash, 63-year-old Democratic governor, the son of a New York governor himself, been more politically alone. “The victims of sexual assault concern me more than politics or other narrow considerations, and I believe Governor Cuomo must step aside,” Maloney said."

Why does our formerly great country continue to mindlessly support the Israeli aggressor no matter what it does or doesn't do?  NBC News reports:

"Video shows Israeli forces detain Palestinian boys. They say they went foraging for vegetables. Video of the incident was circulated widely on social media and shared furiously by activists as the latest insight into Israel’s treatment of Palestinians. Jaber Hmeidat says his sons, ages 9 and 12, left their home in the hills south of Hebron earlier this week to forage for akoub, a wild artichoke-like vegetable that is currently in season. So he was stunned to learn that the children had been detained by Israeli forces. “They were terrified,” he said in an interview Thursday, the day after their detention. “They couldn’t sleep all night.” The father of nine said he spent Thursday trying to reassure his children and to explain that what happened is part of life for Palestinians living under the Israeli occupation. “I worked so hard to raise their spirits,” he said. Hmeidat added that the incident had made him angry and said had he been present he would've tried to intervene."

The Israeli aggressor would have killed him:

“I would not have let them take the children, it would have been over my dead body,” he said."

Exactly, what would have happened.

"Video of the incident was circulated widely on social media and shared furiously by activists as the latest insight into Israel’s treatment of Palestinians. The Israeli rights group B’Tselem, which published the video, said five boys, ages 8 to 13, were detained Wednesday by the Israeli army after picking akoub near a settlement outpost in the occupied West Bank. Israeli police said in a statement that the military had detained four minors for allegedly breaking into private property and stealing parrots and other objects. The Israeli Defense Forces said a group was spotted entering private property in the southern Hebron area and was transferred by a military patrol to the Israeli police after "a short initial questioning with police present." The police said they had not detained the children after they were transferred by the IDF and had tried to locate their parents for “several hours” before waiting for them to collect them. But while the exact circumstances of the children's detention remains unclear, the incident offers a window into the reality of life under Israeli occupation, rights groups and some Palestinians say."

'Some Palestinians?'  It's a hell of a lot more than just 'some Palestinians.'  Why do we continue to support the Israeli aggressor no matter what it does or doesn't do?

"Whether they were simply picking wild vegetables or allegedly stealing parrots, they contend, there is no reasonable scenario in which children as young as 8 should be detained by armed soldiers. “It shows first and foremost the absolute disregard Israeli authorities have for the well-being of Palestinians,” Amit Gilutz, B'Tselem spokesperson, said. "Palestinians are constantly being dehumanized,” he said."

An ongoing issue since 1948.

"Gaby Lasky, a human rights lawyer who is representing the children, said they were released five and a half hours after being detained on Wednesday by the Israeli army. The two oldest, who are 12 and 13, were ordered to return next week for questioning, she said. Israeli police said two boys were summoned with their parents on suspicion of stealing the parrots and other objects. The age of criminal responsibility under Israeli military law, which governs Palestinians living in the West Bank, is 12, according to UNICEF. Lasky told NBC News that the children said they did not steal anything. “It was really a matter of telling the boys to go back home or move away a little bit and that’s it,” she said. “Their detention was humiliating.” Video footage published by B’Tselem and shot by Israeli activists appears to show the children picking plants and putting them in buckets. Separate footage shot by a B'Tselem field researcher later that day appears to show armed soldiers detaining and manhandling young boys — believed to be the same children — into a white military vehicle as bystanders look on. At one point, an older child tries to pull one of the children out of the grip of one soldier, only to be yanked away by another. It was unclear what may have happened in the time between the two videos. The children were detained near Havat Maon, a settler outpost that is illegal under Israeli law, according to B’Tselem. There are dozens of these outposts in the West Bank, in addition to some 130 officially recognized settlements, according to Peace Now, a group that advocates for an independent Palestinian state. The Palestinians view all settlements as illegal and a major obstacle to their goal of establishing an independent state that includes the West Bank, which Israel captured in the 1967 war. Most of the international community considers the Palestinian territories to be occupied and also largely views the settlements as illegal and an impediment to peace. However, beginning as early as 2017, U.S. officials began dropping public references to the West Bank as “occupied" and in 2019 the U.S. reversed its decadeslong position that Israeli settlements in the West Bank are illegal."

Courtesy of the Trump nazi.  Forget?

Get this:

"Seven hundred Palestinians under the age of 18 were arrested by the Israeli authorities in 2020, according to Khaled Quzmar, the general director of Defense For Children International-Palestine, a group that works to defend the rights of Palestinian children. It was not clear if that included children who were detained in this incident. More than 150 Palestinians under the age of 18 were held in Israeli custody, both detainees and prisoners, at the end of September, according to B’Tselem. “Children are the main victim of the occupation,” Quzmar said. “They're paying the price of the occupation every day of their lives.”

Courtesy of the United States.  Our government clearly couldn't care less what the Israeli aggressor does or doesn't do.  Sad, isn't it?  Intolerable as well.  One of the reasons why our country has no credibility in the Middle East.  Why there'll be no peace there indefinitely.

The effort to expose Wells Fargo egregious deceptive trade practices continues.  Several years ago to determinedly apply renewed pressure on our truly worthless, egregiously self-serving Texas Attorney General, now Governor, an excoriating email was sent to the bastard. Copies of which were also passed on to both offending Wells Fargo officers. A copy was also sent to the Davis campaign and others at the time.

Voters did have a right to know as Attorney General, the GOP candidate for Governor apparently selectively investigated, or not, bona fide complaints filed by citizens against banks too big to fail.  Possibly, Wells Fargo could have lined his pockets in some fashion.  That has yet to be determined.

The bastard and his office, no matter what, failed to respond to the complaint originally snail mailed several years ago.  This material, figuratively targeting Wells Fargo and the governor 'wannabe' now Governor, had been posted and can be found by scrolling all the way down and clicking on the links well below.  ... Governor?  Wells Fargo bribe you to look the other way?

Will continue to do all I can to publicly expose this to all, both in this publication and elsewhere.  Have done precisely that with the following email sent to Matt Turner, Matt Turner Video Services, Marble Falls, TX.  A copy of it was also sent to Wells Fargo officer Amanda Wright.  She has, indeed, been promoted  branch manager. Reverse Darwinism.  Survival of the unfittest.

This young woman has indeed been rewarded by the Wells Fargo corporate management suite for engaging in criminal deceptive trade practices and her undying loyalty to her corporate masters. The process to update those already informed of this fiasco has finally been completed. This latest material can be found by clicking onWells Fargo Deceptive Trade Practices Salvo 240, 2-8-19.

The name of this publication was changed some fifteen years ago from The Llano Ledger to Liberty In Peril.  The reason?  Simple.  Cowardly failure of this community to stand up to tyranny that has only exponentially worsened the last decade and a half.  Clearly, demonstrated as well by the cowardly failure of businesses to financially support this publication.  Either through advertising or other financial support.  Too afraid doing so would enrage the bastards who run and own this hellhole County.

-- Despite the fact these businesses were, and are, being egregiously f--ked by these very same bastards. Tough, isn't it?  Impossible to entertain any sympathy for cowardice, however.  Especially in view of the fact this writer has placed himself in great jeopardy taking on these corrupt, abusive, inept criminal bastards. Alone.

Exactly, why you see no investigative material highly critical of these sons of bitches in other local rags.  Sadly, cowardly, all advertising income immediately dries up.  Consequently, the bastards continue their criminal chicanery with impunity.  On a rampage.  Thus, you get what you truly deserve.  Always.  Precisely, why this earlier name change to Liberty In Peril remains appropriate.  -- Despite the fact this writer has not yet left the area.  Ten years after originally intending to do so.  Thirty years in this goddamned godforsaken hellhole.

This writer, then and now, remains primarily interested in state, federal, and international issues.  Another reason for this publication name change.  Despite the fact I stupidly cluelessly remain here, local issues must be addressed.  Can't be ignored.  That's where you come in dear readers.  Have the courage to inform this writer of local abuse, corruption, ineptness you are aware of, have personally experienced.

... Information these criminal bastards do all they can to conceal, cover up.  Otherwise, how can they effectively sustain the charade and intended result? Loot confiscation through a boot heel on the throat of the citizenry.

The only way, short of an unwanted dreaded second American revolution, to force badly-needed change is to expose all this to the light of day.  These bastards are beginning to understand they have a problem.  No question, the growing rage of those they've abused, looted, egregiously f--ked.  It's time to stand up.  Expose this corruption to glaring sunlight.  Otherwise, as fools, cowards, you will remain under their thumb.  From the loftiest business owner to those on the bottom of the food chain.  Wake up.  Grow a pair.

Still don't think that likely to happen.  After all, you're bought and paid for.  Owned. Not only by your government masters, but their masters.  The corporate management suite.  Your employers.  Think not? Wake up.   You're human chattel.  Corporate-owned, bought and paid for.  Precisely, why you cowardly, compliantly, literally bare your asses for corporate inspection by the company doctor.  Willingly, compliantly, cowardly piss in a cup under employer supervision.  To sit in front of a keyboard or stock shelves all day.  You have no control of your lives.  You're owned.  Forget?  For a measly salary, no job security, reduced to no benefits.  At a time of record corporate profits and cash reserves.

Then, you gallingly complain about the oppression as you tolerate egregious theft of your labor. Not only by your corporate masters, but their bought and paid for government lackeys.  Too cowardly to stand up, allow disclosure of your identity when you rightfully complain to this publication of being mercilessly f--ked. Some of you falsely arrested, criminally assaulted, bogusly fined for 'offenses' you did not commit.  To line County coffers.  Keep the peasants in line and under control.  A fascist police-state. Nazi America.

Again, yet another reason why this publication is called Liberty In Peril.  Most galling? Nothing changes if you fail to step up and challenge corrupt, abusive, inept authority.  Too afraid, cowardly compliant to let the bastards know who you are.  Did it ever occur to the cowards out there if the identity of the accuser is kept under wraps the bastards will falsely claim it's all made up by this publication?  Thus, conveniently killing all credibility. Wake up.

Cowardice is unbecoming, unworthy of our formerly great country.  Insult to injury?  There are the hopelessly deranged who believe the chicanery reported here to be manufactured anyway.  No matter the effort.  No matter the research.  No matter the proof.  Wake up.  This writer cannot do it alone.  Snowball's chance in hell.  Then again, cowardice, delusion is always amply, justly rewarded.  Always. You continue to 'enjoy' the very best government money can buy.  Literally.
