Your goons have failed to take action against Theresa Ahrens when she tore down a no trespassing sign and barrier on Berardi's property. Why is Theresa Ahrens allowed by your goons to dictate what vehicles can and cannot be parked on Berardi's property? Question to be asked. Could you have received any 'consideration' in return, -- up to and including a bribe? Only way to know for sure is for the District Attorney to conduct a criminal investigation. Apparently, there has been none. If not, why not?

Equally pointedly, why hasn't Llano County Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764 been held criminally accountable for egregious abuse of power involving denial of property rights to this Kingsland property owner? To say nothing of consequent resultant physical damage done to a motor home on that property.

Our achingly useless, worthless, gutless Sheriff has ignored an email vis a vis the damage this jackbooted thug is responsible for. Interestingly, his fellow officers believe him to be an idiot. Yet, the Sheriff continued to defend this piece of human excrement until he realized this entire fiasco would not be swept under the carpet.

Rodriguez is indeed an idiot. Would you believe this piece of crap ordered the motor home to be moved on to an unmarked unused Llano County road? That motor home has indeed been moved back to where it was parked before Rodriguez forced it to be moved. Why hasn't the County paid for the cost of moving it back? To say nothing of the damage.

Equally pointedly, why is it the County has allowed Theresa Ahrens to park and live in her tiny cottage on that very same road? Why hasn't she been evicted by the County? Why was she assessed taxes on an adjacent improvement she doesn't own?

Why is it, Counselor, Johnny Greene is paying for the attorney retained by Ms. Ahrens? Is Greene attempting to make this all go away by bribery? Greene has also informed Berardi he is going to sue. For what? Has Greene lost his mind?

What about Wells who installed a $4500 septic system on a lot turns out he does not own as a result of Greene, an outrageously inept County, to say nothing of the Llano County Attorney who remains equally determinedly clueless?

How about Bolen who hasn't a pot to piss in, but was nonetheless f--ked over by Greene to say nothing of an egregiously inept County, to say nothing of you and your goddamned equally incompetent office?

Wake up, Sheriff. Again, where is dashcam video of the killing of Jeffrey Gray Wise, 52, of Austin by DPS and the Llano County Sheriff's Office? Two hundred twenty-six weeks, now. A goddamned disgrace. Why are you still sitting on this information? What are you hiding, Sheriff? What is the identity of the officers who killed Wise? Too gutless to release this information to the public that pays your salary and that of your goons? Reportedly, there were three officers involved in the shooting.

Who are they, Sheriff? Their past history? An ongoing investigation remains a lame bullshit excuse. How can you and your goons be trusted when you refuse to disclose information? Two hundred twenty-six weeks. Especially, your egregious failure to disclose the identity of the officers who pulled the trigger. To cover your sorry ass, Sheriff? Those of your thugs? The people have a right to know what happened, how it went down. You don't understand that, Sheriff? Sadly, clearly, you answer to no one. Including taxpayers. Especially, taxpayers.

While the business and church communities stood tall during the recent Kingsland flood catastrophe, there was one glaring exception. On 10-17-18, the Antlers Coffee Shop closed due to storm-related failure of the Kingsland water system. Patrons, however, are routinely allowed to get online outside even when the shop is closed.

A long-term coffee shop customer entered the hotel lobby to ask the desk clerk whether wifi was still up and running after the catastrophe. She said it was and told the patron he could get online inside the closed shop. She then asked him to have another regular customer who had just arrived outside to come in and get out of the cold as well.

Antlers co-proprietor Rick apparently quickly got wind of both customers, made quite a jackass of himself emulating the petulant narcissist currently occupying the Oval Office. Aggressive stupidity at a time the Kingsland business community is indeed suffering, can least afford it. Further proof positive of the old adage 'can fix ignorant, can't fix stupid.'

Why would, why should both customers put up with this? Think this hasn't happened to others?

Highly reminiscent of our outrageously bought and paid for judiciary, Llano County prosecutors, Sheriff Bill Blackburn and his criminal SS jackbooted bastards in black who continue to egregiously disgrace themselves and the badge, do as they please regardless of the law and Constitution, carefully consider the following. Llano County DA "Sonny Boy" is in the news. Received an award. The DailyTrib reports:

"The Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission recognized District Attorney Wiley “Sonny” McAfee on August 22 for his efforts in prosecuting natural and cultural resource violations as well as environmental crimes. The commission named the 33rd and 424th district attorney the 2019 Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Prosecutor of the Year. McAfee serves Burnet, Llano, Blanco, and San Saba counties. Elected in November 2012 and taking office on January 1, 2013, he has been instrumental in a number of high-profile cases involving Texas game wardens and Texas State Park police officers."

The District Attorney has ignored a complaint filed earlier by this publication regarding special treatment accorded Texas oil man Johnny Greene by the Llano County Attorney and Sheriff vis a vis a property dispute involving a local banker, three other local property owners with homes encroaching on land they don't own, one of which is on an unused Llano County road. To say nothing of damage to a Pace Arrow motorhome on that property. All a result of egregious abuse of authority by Llano County Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764. The circumstances of this fiasco can be found above in each and every edition of this publication since this happened two and a half years ago. The Sheriff, the County Attorney, and the District Attorney have all determinedly, concertedly ignored this ongoing, unresolved fiasco raising one ferociously pointed question. How much were they bribed?

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk? Get what you truly deserve.

Last three months been getting online at the Kingsland HEB. Met quite a few readers at the picnic table. -- People I didn't personally know, but who came up and introduced themselves. Certainly, grateful for your concern, caring, and moral support. One of the Front End managers, Kevin, had granted permission to plug in and access HEB Customer wifi at the picnic table some three months ago. Someone in County government must have subsequently complained. Three months after the fact. LOL. Finally got the boot 6-27-20 from the achingly gutless Store Manager who couldn't, or wouldn't stand up to pressure from this asshole.

Pathetic, isn't it? LOL. Certainly, knew it was coming. Hard to believe it took three months. LOL. Apparently, the gutless Store Manager, Monty, sent out the second in command, Dan, to deliver the happy news. Spoke to him awhile, but sadly as expected, he had nothing substantive to say. Other than, "leave." LOL. Advised him to send out the clearly reluctant Store Manager who apparently wanted to avoid the encounter. Finally, came out. Imagine that.

Asked the Store Manager, Monty Young, for a business card. Remarkably, he had none. Couldn't be, could it? LOL. An HEB Store Manager with no business card? How is that possible? Unlimited corporate greed? Aryan arrogance of a privately-owned corporation? Or, was he simply lying? Informed him he'd indeed be front and center in this next edition.

Before getting into specific detail vis a vis my conversation with the Store Manager, it must be stated staff at the Kingsland HEB is second to none. Have known many of them for years. Work extremely well together as a team. Certainly, exceptionally customer-friendly. The problem with this store is not staff. Not even the Store Manager and Assistant Manager per se, -- who apparently, despite their denials, had been pressured by someone. It's the HEB corporate management suite at the root of most of the problems at this store.

The following salient issues were discussed with the Store Manager before I left. -- Interestingly, none of which he denied. LOL. Readers, have you noticed cheaper generic products are either continually out of stock or discontinued? Especially, after the store changed its product line weeks before the pandemic. Apparently, in an effort to emulate the Marble Falls store that caters to the Horseshoe Bay elite.

New larger shopping carts were brought in to the Kingsland store so shoppers would supposedly buy more product, increase store sales. Shelves are restocked 24 hrs. Staff was unhappy because aisles are too narrow for the larger carts. Makes it harder to stock shelves when the store is open. Not only that, makes it much more difficult for shoppers to navigate the narrow aisles.

Product pricing has steeply increased. They accomplish this both by directly raising prices, as well as in engaging in deception, that is, downsizing product. One recent glaring example is their generic bleach. For awhile, it was unavailable, out of stock. Then, it was downsized from three quarts to two. Price remained at $1. A 33% increase. Done deceptively. At a time when inflation is supposedly non-existent. What ever happened to the HCF quart and a half ice cream that sold for $1.99? Long since gone. Both aforementioned products had already been downsized once before. LOL. List can go on and on. Unbridled corporate greed.

As I reminded the Store Manager, Kingsland residents, for the most part, are poor, young, elderly, and/or disabled, etc. This store now caters to the rich who live on the lake and Sunrise Beach. Not sustainable. ... Especially, if the shit finally hits the fan vis a vis the Trump nazi, and/or a second shutdown occurs courtesy of the raging, poorly-handled, achingly mismanaged pandemic.

To store employees, all of whom I admire, consider personal friends, courageously provide your ongoing grievances to this publication. I will publish them while protecting your identity. If you won't stand up, nothing changes.

As I informed the Store Manager, the problem in Kingsland is the fact HEB has no substantive competition. What is desperately needed is a Walmart or other major corporation to rattle the cage of local HEB management as well as the corporate management suite. Until that occurs, nothing changes, shit happens. ... Right, Monty? Dan?

In the last two and a half weeks or so, three middle-aged women tripped and fell on the curb by the picnic table. Third time, 6-26-20. Took the Store Manager and Assistant Manager quite some time to exit the store and arrive with ice to quell the swelling of the woman who had fallen hard on her face. I subsequently asked Monty to consider painting the curb iridescent red or orange to avoid injury and a future lawsuit.

Responded couldn't be painted red since it wasn't a fire zone. Could certainly be painted orange or some other bright color. If management doesn't care about a lawsuit, where is its concern for the pain and suffering if a customer trips, falls, and suffers serious injury? ... Couldn't care less, Monty? -- Or, is it, shortsightedly, insurance will indeed take care of it? Wake up. Just a matter of time before someone gets seriously injured and sues the living shit out of HEB. Even if HEB prevails in court, it loses. Consider the cost of bad publicity.

To the credit of management, both the Store Manager and Assistant Manager return carts to the front of the store, sanitize them, and pick up trash. Recently, associates informed me the Store Manager wasn't happy about the performance of the Assistant Store Manager. LOL. Apparently, ole' Dan got too good at hiding in the store, shirking cart and other duties, etc. LOL. That's apparently changed. ... Trouble in paradise, boys? LOL. Itching to retire, Dan? LOL. Give me a break. Never a dull moment, -- at customer and staff expense.

Finally, to the motherf--ker in County government who likely complained, don't flatter yourself. Three months? What took so long you gutless piece of shit? LOL. "A daring rescue in California was caught on a police officer's body camera – and now that officer is being praised for risking her life to save another. On Wednesday morning, Officer Erika Urrea of the Lodi Police Department spotted a man in a wheelchair who appeared to be stuck on railroad tracks, the police department wrote on Facebook. Urrea noticed the railroad crossing arms were coming down and a train was rapidly approaching. So, she jumped out of her patrol car and ran toward the man."

"Her body camera footage – which was shared by the department on social media and has since gone viral – shows her reach the man and ask if he can stand up. She then pulls him from his wheelchair, getting him just inches from the tracks seconds before the train barrels past. Both Urrea and the man fell to the ground. The 66-year-old man suffered a leg injury, which was tended to by Urrea and another officer who arrived on the scene. The man was transported to a hospital for treatment. "Officer Urrea risked her own life to save another and her actions prevented a tragedy today. We are extremely proud of Officer Erika Urrea and her heroism," the Lodi Police Department wrote on Facebook."

... Were that all that had to be covered in this edition, but one more heartwarming story before getting on with the usual fare.

"A 6-year-old girl, named Zion, formed a new friendship with a police officer after talking to him about her dog. For Capt. Danny Graves and 5-month-old puppy, Kristof, it is about the events that brought them together. "We had a homicide in the neighborhood over the weekend," Graves said. While at the scene, and in all the chaos, officers noticed a girl and her dog just a few doors down. Graves said the girl was struggling with what was going on, and with all the police activity. He said it led to a conversation and a promise. "I made her a promise that I was going to bring her a doghouse this week," Graves said. He called Chain of Hope to help. "We brought a doghouse and brought an indoor crate so they can get the puppy inside," said Kate Quigley, of Chain of Hope KC. "Sometimes, the system fails in many directions," Graves said. "It's all about conflict resolution. That's what we need to be out here teaching people." "The way that we're imaging them is not correct and true. With every last police officer, we've got people that are working with the community, just like this here," said Loren Troutt, Zion's grandmother. The work is making a dog a little more comfortable and a 6-year-old a little more comfortable as well. Chain of Hope also gave the family free dog toys and dog food, as well as a couple of stuffed animals for Zion."

"The former head of Boston's largest police union has been charged with sexually assaulting a girl and was ordered held Thursday on $100,000 bail. Patrick Rose, 66, a retired officer and the one-time president of the Boston Police Patrolmen’s Association, was arraigned on charges including aggravated rape of a child and indecent assault and battery on a child under 14. Rose is accused of sexually assaulting the girl on “multiple occasions” from when she was about 7 to about 12 years old, according to a police report filed in court. Rose did not respond to a phone call Wednesday evening from The Boston Globe. The newspaper reports that his lawyer declined to give his name to reporters after Thursday's hearing."

... Not clear precisely what that last sentence above is referring to. Is he dumping his client? No matter how despicable, anyone charged is constitutionally entitled to competent legal counsel. If it refers to the attorney refusing to disclose the identity of his client, makes no sense. Already public information.

"Rose was named president of the police union in 2014 after joining the police department 20 years earlier. Boston Mayor Marty Walsh said Wednesday that he is “deeply disturbed by these horrific allegations" and called for them to be investigated “to the fullest extent of the law.”

Thirty-six years lost to the criminal jackbooted bastards in blue. The Washington Post reports:

"When Alfred Chestnut, Ransom Watkins and Andrew Stewart walked out of the Baltimore City courthouse in November, each having served 36 years in prison for a crime they didn’t commit, they joined 10 other men who the courts concluded had been wrongly convicted of murder by Baltimore police and prosecutors between 1984 and 1999. “You take three kids’ lives and tear them apart,” Watkins said Thursday, “nobody wants to talk about it.” He was jailed at 16, and released at 52. “I’m struggling to get my life back on board.” On Thursday, the three men sued the Baltimore Police Department and the three lead detectives on their case, arguing that the police had a lengthy pattern of misconduct that has cost the state of Maryland millions of dollars in wrongful-conviction settlements. According to the National Registry for Exonerations, the 108 combined years that Chestnut, Watkins and Stewart served make their case the longest stretch of wrongful incarceration for one case in recorded American history."

“Once you read it,” Stewart said of the lawsuit, “it’s like it plays itself out again in your life. It just lets you know that a life that people should value, it’s not valued, particularly from a young man’s perspective. They knew we didn’t do it.”

'The lawsuit, filed in federal court in Baltimore, names former homicide detectives Donald Kincaid, John Barrick and Bryn Joyce as the defendants, in addition to the Baltimore Police Department. The state has already paid the men settlements of $2.9 million. But that did not insulate the police from being sued for their role in what the suit claims were coerced statements by teenage witnesses who falsely accused Chestnut, Watkins and Stewart, and whose testimony convicted the defendants in the absence of any physical evidence. Arrested as juveniles and tried as adults, all three were sentenced to life in prison. Kincaid told The Washington Post in November that he did not coerce the witnesses or frame the defendants. “What would I get out of that?” he said. “You think for one minute I want to send three young boys to prison for the rest of their life? ... I didn’t know those boys. I didn’t know them from Adam. Why would I want to do something like that?” Kincaid, Barrick and Joyce are all retired, and a fourth detective not named in the suit has died. Kincaid and Barrick could not be reached to comment Thursday. Joyce said he had not seen or been told about the suit, and was “flabbergasted” to learn that the three defendants had been exonerated. “Our objective when I was in the homicide unit,” he said Thursday, “was to find the truth, no matter where it led us.” He said that he did not have specific recollections of the Harlem Park case and that Kincaid was “an excellent detective,” but that he hadn’t spoken to him in decades. Joyce said he retired in 1984, before many of the other wrongful convictions noted in the lawsuit occurred.

"Chestnut, Watkins and Stewart were arrested at their homes early on Thanksgiving morning in 1983, and accused of the robbery and murder of DeWitt Duckett, a 14-year-old student at Harlem Park Junior High School. The death, six days earlier, was the first homicide in a Baltimore school and created great pressure on police to solve the case, in which an armed assailant took a Georgetown Starter jacket while shooting DeWitt in a hallway of the school, in front of at least two other students. Convicted at trial and sent to adult prison at 17, the three defendants, now dubbed the “Harlem Park Three,” spent their first 12 years in the same institution before being split up, and they said they remain in daily contact today. They refused to admit involvement in the killing and so were denied parole. Stewart said he gave up hope of ever being released. But Chestnut kept pushing, and a request through the Freedom of Information Act eventually unearthed police reports showing that detectives had reports indicating that another teenager, who had been seen running from the school while discarding a gun, had admitted his involvement to others, and was seen wearing DeWitt’s Georgetown jacket."

"Although witnesses said one person had killed DeWitt, the Baltimore police somehow determined that three people were involved. Witnesses were shown photo lineups of Chestnut, Watkins and Stewart and repeatedly were unable to identify them, Chestnut discovered in the police file. Baltimore Assistant State’s Attorney Jonathan Shoup told the judge at trial that there were no such reports, and the judge sealed the file until Chestnut obtained it in 2018."

"Chestnut sent a handwritten letter to Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby’s Conviction Integrity Unit, which began reinvestigating the case, and the Mid-Atlantic Innocence Project lined up lawyers for the men. The two sides filed a joint motion to vacate the men's’ convictions, which was granted, and then prosecutors dismissed the case. The men walked out of the courthouse three days before Thanksgiving, exactly 36 years and one day after they were arrested. The lawsuit has new details about how police allegedly coerced and intimidated teenage witnesses into accusing Chestnut, Watkins and Stewart, who had been in the junior high school earlier in the day while skipping their own high school classes with two other friends. The five teenagers had visited their former teachers and then been escorted off school property about 30 minutes before the shooting, the security guard who showed them out testified in 1984. DeWitt had been walking with three friends in Harlem Park when he was shot. The friends told police that one person had approached DeWitt and demanded his jacket. The lawsuit alleges that in the days after the killing, Kincaid, Joyce and Barrick questioned the friends, ages 14, 15, and 16, at least three times each, showing them multiple photo arrays that included Chestnut, Stewart and Watkins, but the witnesses didn’t pick out any of the three. The three maintained their innocence from the start, and testified in their own defense at trial. The lawsuit alleges that when Kincaid questioned Watkins in 1983, the detective told him, “You have two things against you — you’re black and I have a badge.”

"Kincaid and Joyce, the lawsuit claims, “coerced, suggested and/or fabricated a false statement and identification” from each of the three teenagers who had been with DeWitt. The lawsuit alleges that the detectives “physically threatened” one of the teenage witnesses and did not disclose the witnesses’ initial inability to identify Chestnut, Stewart and Watkins. None of the witnesses’ statements were recorded."

"Kincaid told The Post in November that he had not coerced or falsified any statements. “When I was in the crime scene up at the school,” he said, “three young girls approached me and told me who did it. I didn’t coerce them for nothing. They passed the information to me, that’s what opened up the case.” He retired in 1990. A 13-year-old girl, who had not been in the hallway and hadn’t seen the shooting, signed a false statement written by Kincaid and Barrick “implicating the innocent teens,” the lawsuit states. Investigators with Mosby’s Conviction Integrity Unit interviewed the witnesses and found that two of them told Kincaid and others “many times” that the 13-year-old “had not witnessed the murder,” but the detectives ignored them, according to the suit."

"Baltimore prosecutors did not know that homicide detectives had fabricated the 13-year-old’s statement, the lawsuit states, that a total of four teenagers had been coerced into implicating the three suspects, and did not know that Kincaid, Joyce and Barrick had not investigated the suspect who was seen wearing DeWitt’s jacket and discarding a gun near the school. That suspect was never charged, and was shot to death in West Baltimore in 2002."

"The lawsuit lists 13 wrongful-conviction cases attributed to the Baltimore police since 1968. In many of the cases, convictions were reversed when it was found that Baltimore police had coerced testimony or withheld information from defendants. The civil rights claims state that Baltimore police did not take corrective action in the face of a “pattern and practice of misconduct in murder investigations,” even as the homicide unit was being featured in the book and television show “Homicide.”

He has moved to South Carolina, where his mother now lives, but says he has had trouble reconnecting with his family. “My faith is my salvation.” All three said the lawsuit yanks them back, mentally, to the terror of being pulled from their homes after midnight in November 1983, and being photographed as they walked out of a Baltimore courthouse. “It brings back the pain and suffering you’ve gone through,” Watkins said. “But I know it’s something that needs to be done. The state needs to be exposed. Every day of my life, because of this, is a struggle.”

What responding State Police troopers discovered caused the officer’s story to start unraveling. First, he was reportedly found asleep inside the camp home in Elizabethtown, located in the largely white Adirondacks region, after a night of heavy drinking. And, though he had indeed fired his weapon, there was no evidence anyone had fired at him."

"Weeks later, what authorities think actually happened in the case of Cohoes Police Officer Sean McKown is still shrouded in secrecy."

"State Police have refused to disclose any information about the incident, except to say that their investigation is closed. Nor has the agency explained why it didn’t seek charges against McKown, even as Gov. Andrew Cuomo was in the midst of approving legislation that would punish false 911 calls based on race. Meanwhile, McKown's police department is allowing him to retire from the force rather than face potential disciplinary measures that could cost him his pension. Amid pressure from activists and community leaders, Essex County District Attorney Kristy Sprague has asked state police for the case file on McKown, though she also won’t discuss the case. A letter with more than 700 signatures was delivered to Sprague’s office last week, demanding a more aggressive response to the incident. “It feels as though someone is trying to sweep this thing under the rug,” said Nicole Hylton-Patterson, director of the Adirondack Diversity Initiative. “If it’s true that he made a false report that put the lives of these youths at risk, he should be charged and prosecuted.”

"McKown, a 20-year veteran of the Cohoes Police Department and nephew of former Police Chief William Heslin, called 911 after midnight on June 6. “A group of eight to 10 black males came around his property and words were exchanged after he questioned why they were on his property,” a dispatcher wrote in an internal Albany County sheriff’s office email obtained by The Times Union, of Albany, through a public records request. “They told him off. They then returned for round two, more words were exchanged to which at that point gunfire was exchanged between both parties. Sean is uninjured, however is waiting for State Police response as they are on another call.” The Times Union, citing anonymous sources reported that when troopers arrived, a “highly intoxicated” McKown said he told the youths to leave before grabbing his service gun from his vehicle. He said a Black male lifted his shirt and displayed a silver gun in his waistband. McKown said after hearing what he thought was a gunshot, he fired four rounds and ditched his gun while retreating. McKown later called police and acknowledged the story was a lie, the Times Union reported. This time he said that out of fear, he fired shots into a tree stump to scare off whoever had made the noise. After viewing a neighbor’s security video, troopers also told McKown their investigation showed his weapon had been deliberately set down, not tossed away. As their questioning continued, McKown allegedly asked the troopers why they were trying to “jam him up,” the Times Union reported. Matthew Melewski, an attorney in nearby Westport supporting the efforts, said at a news conference: “This is not a trivial matter. This is not a child pulling a fire alarm and falsely reporting a fire.” In response to inquiries by The Associated Press, the State Police would only say the incident was reported and investigated but no charges were filed. It refused to immediately disclose written reports related to the incident, telling the AP it would need to apply for the records under the state's open records law, a bureaucratic hurdle that could delay the release of the documents for months."

"Sprague told the AP via email that she had made a “formal written request” for the investigation file before the outcry. But added, “I will not comment on any facts, potential witnesses or potential evidence.” McKown, 46, has been allowed to take sick time until his retirement takes effect this month, Cohoes Mayor Bill Keeler said in an interview. “The conduct, if true, is in my opinion unbecoming of a police officer,” Keeler said. However, letting the officer retire was “the cleanest, easiest, fastest and most certain of an outcome," he added."

"In 2018, McKown was suspended without pay after pleading guilty to reckless driving after being charged with driving under the influence of alcohol in rural Illinois. A message was left at a cell phone number believed to be McKown’s. Efforts to reach him through a police union were unsuccessful. Melewski said it appears that charges of falsely reporting an incident are warranted, and possibly more serious charges. “It's hard to know exactly why this investigation was stopped,” Melewski said in an interview. “It's very disturbing that somebody decided to bury it.”

Salt Lake City Mayor Erin Mendenhall tweeted that she was "deeply concerned" that the incident was only brought to her attention and that of senior police leadership when it was published in the newspaper and a review will be conducted in the breakdown of communication."

In a statement, the department said it was enlisting outside experts to conduct a thorough review of the program’s policies and procedures while various investigations examine the April 24 incident that left Jeffrey Ryans, 36, with severe injuries that his lawyers said may require amputation. The K9 officer involved in the encounter, Nickolas Pearce, was placed on administrative leave while the city’s civilian review board and internal affairs investigators investigate, the department said."

In disturbing body-camera footage first published by the Salt Lake City Tribune and obtained by NBC News, the officers can be seen talking with Ryans, who’s standing in the home's backyard. “I’m just going to work,” he says. One officer asks how they can get to the yard; another appears to say Ryans is going [to] jump the fence. Pearce then appears to walk to the other side of the house, where he approaches Ryans and says, “Get on the ground or you’re going to get bit.” As Ryans kneels with his hands up, Pearce appears to say “hit” and “good boy” while his dog bites Ryans, who repeatedly shouts in pain and asks why the dog is biting him."

"The Salt Lake Police Department declined a request for an interview with Pearce, and the Salt Lake Police Association did not immediately return a request for comment Wednesday night."

"In a notice of claim dated June 29 that was filed with the Salt Lake City Recorder’s Office — the first step in filing a lawsuit — lawyers for Ryans said Pearce’s dog, Tuco, bit him several times for roughly one minute. On each side of his leg, Ryans suffered two-inch gashes, one of his lawyers, Gabriel White said. “We’ve seen lots of dog bites, but this one looks like something else,” he said. “I would’ve assumed he had an accident with a chainsaw.” Salt Lake City police spokesman Detective Greg Wilking said that authorities had been called to the home because of a report of domestic violence. Citing the pending lawsuit, Wilking declined to discuss details of the incident, but in the body-camera footage, officers can be heard telling Ryans after he was bitten that he violated a protective order and wasn’t allowed to be there. In an interview Wednesday, Gabriel White and another lawyer, Daniel Garner, said Ryans’ wife had secured the order last year amid “disagreements.” The arguments weren’t violent, they said, though she told Ryans to move out in December. They later reconciled, and he moved back in when the coronavirus outbreak began, when she asked for help with their three children, they said. After speaking with someone in the local district attorney’s office, she believed the protective order had been lifted, they said. “Unbeknownst to her, a judge has to lift it,” Garner said."

The lawyers said they weren’t sure who reported the alleged domestic violence on April 24, but they said there are no allegations that anything violent occurred. “It was just a marital disagreement,” White said. “Then she went to bed.” Wilking said that Ryans was arrested on suspicion of violating a protective order, charges that are pending. Garner and White said that Ryans was laid off after he was injured. Multiple surgeries have left him tens of thousands of dollars in debt, they said. They said the officials named in notice of claim have 60 days to respond. "If they take responsibility, there won't be a lawsuit," Garner said. "My client's main goal is to see the reforms that the nation has been having a conversation about," Garner said. "And he’s got a mountain of medical bills he has to deal with now."

"Three Mississippi police officers have been charged with second-degree murder in the death of a Black man last year, according to a recently unsealed indictment. A Hinds County grand jury indicted the officers in the January 2019 death of George Robinson, 62, according to the Aug. 5 indictment. It accuses the officers — Desmond Barney, Lincoln Lampley and Anthony Fox — with "willfully, unlawfully and feloniously” causing Robinson's death, The Clarion Ledger reported. All three worked for the Jackson Police Department at the time. The indictment alleges that the three officers removed Robinson from his vehicle, body-slammed him on the pavement, and repeatedly struck him in the head and chest. Robinson died from bleeding on the brain caused by blunt force trauma to the head, Hinds County Coroner Sharon Grisham-Stewart said shortly after his death."

"Neighbor Connie Bolton told Mississippi Today that officers hit Robinson and slammed him down while seeking suspects in the fatal shooting of a pastor who had been shot in a robbery in front of his church."

"Three police officers in Mississippi have been charged with murder for the beating death of a 62-year-old man last year. A Hinds County, Miss., grand jury indicted Desmond Barney and Anthony Fox of the Clinton Police Department and Lincoln Lampley of the Jackson Police Department with second-degree murder in the death of George Robinson. All three officers were with the Jackson Police Department in January 2019 when the alleged beating happened that led to Robinson's death. Lampley is now on desk duty. Prosecutors said the three officers approached Robinson, who was sitting in his vehicle, while they were searching for suspects in the shooting death of a pastor earlier that day. They pulled him from his vehicle and threw him headfirst into the road before hitting and kicking him in the head and chest, the indictment says. Hinds County District Attorney Jody Owens II said Robinson may have been slow to exit his vehicle on his own because of a previous stroke. The officers arrested Robinson on misdemeanor charges of failure to obey a police officer and resisting arrest. Paramedics treated Robinson at the scene of his arrest and released him, the indictment said. His girlfriend said she observed that he lost consciousness after his release and she called another ambulance. Robinson died two days later, Jan. 15, 2019, at a hospital. His family filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the police department in October, accusing the three officers of unreasonable use of force. "It was pretty egregious," said the Robinson family's lawyer, Dennis Sweet III. "Mr. Robinson had blunt force trauma to the head, he had fractured ribs and we have eyewitnesses. It was in front of his home, on Jones Street." Robinson's family said they were "pleased" with the indictment. Francis Springer, an attorney for the three officers, said each was innocent of the allegations. "We feel really confident, once we're able to exhibit the evidence we have, that these officers are going to be vindicated," he said. The indictment comes as police departments across the country consider reforms in policing in the wake of protests against excessive force and racial bias."

"A Georgia state trooper was fired and charged with murder Friday a week after he shot a 60-year-old man who tried to flee a rural traffic stop, authorities said. The president of Georgia's NAACP chapter called the slaying of Julian Edward Roosevelt Lewis another chilling example of a Black man being killed unlawfully by a white law enforcement officer. An attorney for Lewis' family said the trooper initiated the traffic stop over a burned-out tail light and Lewis was shot almost immediately after the trooper forced his car into a ditch. “Mr. Lewis never got out of the vehicle and the investigation will show that, mere seconds after the crash, he was shot to death, shot in the face and killed,” attorney Francys Johnson said. Johnson said that information was given to the family by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, which arrested 27-year-old Jacob Gordon Thompson on charges of felony murder and aggravated assault Friday. The agency did not include those details in its own statement on Thompson's arrest. The GBI said Lewis was fatally shot Aug. 7 after a chase in rural Screven County, about 60 miles (95 kilometers) northwest of Savannah. Thompson had tried to pull over a car for a traffic violation when the driver tried to flee, the GBI said in a news release. The agency said the trooper chased the vehicle down several country roads before performing a maneuver that forced the car to come to a stop in a ditch. At some point afterward, Thompson fired a single gunshot that hit Lewis, killing him, the GBI said. The trooper was not injured. GBI spokeswoman Nelly Miles confirmed that Lewis was Black and the trooper was white, but she declined to comment further on the case. Richard Mallard, district attorney for the judicial circuit that includes Screven County, did not immediately return a phone message. The Georgia Department of Public Safety said it fired Thompson after he was charged Friday. He had been a trooper for the Georgia State Patrol since 2013."

Yes, the man was arrested, but we’re done dying.” Johnson said Lewis' wife, Betty Lewis, learned of the trooper's arrest as she left the funeral home after making final arrangements for her husband's graveside service Saturday. "She fell to her knees,’ Johnson said. “She said, `This is a step towards justice.'”

"Lewis was a carpenter who recently helped a local ministry finish a construction project, Johnson said. He said Lewis' wife told him her husband didn't own a gun. “He was not a perfect member of the Lewis family," he said, "but as his wife said, `He was too good to die the way he did.'”

"Jacob Gordon Thompson, 27, was arrested on Friday in connection with the fatal officer involved shooting in Screven County that occurred on August 7, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) said in a news release. Thompson attempted to stop Julian Edward Roosevelt Lewis, 60, for a traffic-related offense. When he refused to stop, Thompson gave a brief chase before using a "precision Intervention technique," sending the car to a stop in a ditch, according to the GBI. Thompson then fired one shot, striking Lewis in the face. He was pronounced dead on the scene. An autopsy is being conducted at the GBI Crime Lab, according to the release. Thompson will be booked into the Screven County Jail, the GBI release said. He has been charged with felony murder and aggravated assault and was terminated from the Department of Public Safety. CNN has not been able to determine if Thompson has an attorney. FBI Atlanta public affairs specialist Kevin Rowson told CNN in an emailed statement Saturday that they are in contact with local and state authorities. "The FBI is aware of the Screven County matter and we have been in contact with local and state authorities. The FBI is always prepared to investigate whenever information comes to light of a potential federal violation," Rowson said. Francys Johnson, the attorney representing the Lewis family, issued a statement Friday. "The unprecedented pace of the investigation is a direct result of years of activism on these issues along with a sea-change in law enforcement leadership at the top of the GBI," Johnson said. "This was not business as usual. "The GBI and now the FBI who have launched a separate civil rights investigation have done what was right at this stage. I rarely get to say that." Georgia's NAACP chapter declared a state of emergency in Georgia "with respect to the never ending acts of police violence that regularly and consistently put our communities in danger," according to a news release. The NAACP on Tuesday had called for criminal charges to be filed against Thompson and for a civil rights investigation by the United States Department of Justice. "I want justice for Julian. He was too good to die as he did. This is one step towards justice," Lewis's widow, Betty Lewis, said in the statement released by Johnson."

"A former Georgia state trooper is facing felony murder and aggravated assault charges after he allegedly shot and killed a 60-year-old Black man during a traffic stop this month. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation announced Friday that Jacob Gordon Thompson, 27, was to be booked in the Screven County Jail in connection with an officer-involved shooting on Aug. 7 that resulted in the death of Julian Edward Roosevelt Lewis. The agency also announced that the investigation is ongoing and that Thompson had been terminated from the Department of Public Safety, Georgia State Patrol. In a separate media release, the Georgia State Patrol said Thompson, who is white and had been a state trooper since 2013, was fired Friday due to his "negligence or inefficiency in performing assigned duties; or commission of a felony." According to the bureau's preliminary findings, Thompson attempted to stop Lewis, who was driving a Nissan Sentra, over a traffic offense. "The car refused to stop and led the trooper on a brief chase down several county roads," the Georgia Bureau of Investigation said. "The trooper initiated a Precision Intervention Technique (PIT) and the car came to a stop in the ditch." At some point Thompson fired a single round, according to the bureau, and Lewis was pronounced dead at the scene. The trooper was not hurt, officials said."

"In the Aug. 7 Department of Public Safety incident report, Thompson said he initially observed the vehicle driven by Lewis had a broken taillight. Thompson followed Lewis for a period of time, activating both his emergency lights and eventually his siren. "It became apparent to me that the violator did not intend to stop his vehicle," Thompson said, according to the report. Thompson performed a driving maneuver that led Lewis' vehicle to crash and came to a stop. Thompson pulled his service vehicle beside Lewis' and exited. "Being concerned for my safety, I drew my weapon as I got out of the vehicle," Thompson said in the incident report. It appears that Thompson fired his weapon into Lewis' vehicle and then asked to see his hands."

"At some point, I heard the engine on the violator's vehicle revving at a high rate of speed. I activated the light on my weapon and observed the violator with both hands on the steering wheel," Thompson said. He also said he observed Lewis "wrenching the steering wheel in an aggressive back and forth manner towards me and my patrol vehicle." "It appeared to me that the violator was trying to use his vehicle to injure me," he added."

"Being in fear for my life and safety, I discharged my weapon once. After I fired, the violator sat back motionless. I recall ordering him to show me his hands, but he remained motionless," the report said."

Francys Johnson, the Lewis family attorney and former head of the Georgia NAACP, also told the newspaper that the U.S. Justice Department had approved his request to open a civil rights investigation into Lewis' death. "We got lots of messages from people in the community that the habit of ex-trooper Thompson was to racially profile and harass Black and brown people on the highway," Johnson told the Atlanta paper. "This was not shocking to them that this happened."

"A Nebraska man who was sitting in a swing in his sister's backyard with his empty hands visible when a police officer shocked him with a Taser has filed an excessive force lawsuit over the videotaped encounter. Hilario Velasquez, of Lexington, and his sister, Sarah Garrett, filed the lawsuit in federal court against Cozad Police Sgt. John Peden and the city of Cozad, The Lincoln Journal-Star reports. The suit said the siblings were in the backyard of Garrett’s home on May 28 when the sergeant demanded to know where their brother was. Cozad Police Chief Mark Montgomery wouldn’t say why police were looking for their brother and declined to comment on the lawsuit. When the sergeant told Velasquez he had to leave, Velasquez said they weren’t looking for him, and he didn’t have anything to do with it, a 50-second cellphone video clip shows. “Just get up and leave,” Peden told Velasquez while pointing a Taser at him. “No, my son’s in there,” Velasquez said, motioning to the house, a second before the sergeant shocked him, then kept verbally pressing. “Get up.”

In a tweet, Crump said Wygant witnessed a fight and was only trying to help. The sheriff's office placed Rhoads on administrative leave. The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy, or EGLE, said the drone was being piloted by environmental quality analyst Hunter King along the Lake Michigan shore when it encountered the bird of prey near Escanaba. King said he was watching the video feed from the drone when it started spinning "like a really bad roller coaster ride." The analyst said he looked up at the sky and noticed the drone was gone and a bald eagle was flying away from the scene. A couple birdwatching nearby told King they had seen the eagle knock the unmanned aircraft out of the sky."

"Multiple searches of the area were unable to locate the fallen drone. EGLE said it will be replaced with a similar model."

And so as he often does, Trump did add a dose of plausible deniability. "I have no idea if that's right," Trump said. "I would have assumed the Democrats would have checked out before she gets chosen to run for vice president." This has echoes of language he has used in the past when pushing forward birther conspiracies about Barack Obama."

"It’s a health issue in 2019, it's even more so in the time of the pandemic. So when the president goes after the Postal Service, he’s going after an all-American, highly-approved, by-the-public institution."

Former Vice President Joe Biden's campaign said Thursday that Trump's stance amounted to "an assault on our democracy and economy." "The president of the United States is sabotaging a basic service that hundreds of millions of people rely upon, cutting a critical lifeline for rural economies and for delivery of medicines, because he wants to deprive Americans of their fundamental right to vote safely during the most catastrophic public health crisis in over 100 years — a crisis so devastatingly worsened by his own failed leadership that we are now the hardest hit country in the world by the coronavirus pandemic," the campaign's rapid response director, Andrew Bates, said in a statement. "Even Donald Trump's own campaign has endorsed voting by mail, and his own administration has conclusively refuted his wild-eyed conspiracy theories about the most secure form of voting," Bates said."

"Acting Secretary of Homeland Security Chad Wolf and Deputy Secretary Ken Cuccinelli are not legally entitled to hold those positions, a government watchdog determined Friday."

"Wolf and Cuccinelli's current roles are invalid because they assumed the jobs under a succession plan crafted in November by former DHS Acting Secretary Kevin McAleenan, who himself had no authority to hold his job under the Federal Vacancies Reform Act, the Government Accountability Office said in a report. The findings could provide ammunition for critics who argue that Wolf and Cuccinelli are serving in their roles unlawfully and without Senate confirmation -- accusations that intensified after President Donald Trump's sent federal officers to monitor anti-racism protests in several cities, including Portland, Ore."

Wolf certainly drew attention to himself for comments made against innocent, unarmed, peaceful protesters. -- Protesters who had been beaten, abused, abducted in unmarked rental vehicles by Trump's unidentified jackbooted thugs who were determinedly following their fuhrer's orders to intimidate peaceful protesters exercising a constitutional right.

"Critics say the administration illegally fills top posts with temporary appointments without seeking congressional confirmation."

Certainly, true. That way, the nazi occupying the Oval Office can appoint anyone he pleases with no congressional oversight. Most convenient, no?

"Under the department's succession plan drawn up by McAleenan, his resignation in November allowed Wolf -- who then was Under Secretary for Strategy, Policy, and Plans -- to take over as acting secretary, the GAO report said. Wolf then again altered the plan to allow Cuccinelli, then principal deputy director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, to assume his current role as senior official performing the duties of deputy secretary, the report found. Both moves were invalid, the report said, because McAleenan himself "was not the proper acting secretary," meaning he didn't have authority to amend the succession plan in November."

"McAleenan took over as acting secretary after Kirstjen Nielsen resigned in April 2019 -- but the report determined that he shouldn't have done so because the grounds for his succession applied only to the secretary's unavailability as a result of disaster or catastrophic emergency. The GAO said it's referring its conclusions to the Homeland Security inspector general for further review. A federal judge ruled in March that Cuccinelli unlawfully obtained his role at CIS. The ruling invalidated controversial directives that restricted asylum seekers' abilities to consult with attorneys and prepare before their immigration hearings."

Both men need to be criminally investigated anyway by the 'Justice' Department vis a vis their actions while in office. Hard to believe that will happen with a U.S. Attorney General who remains clearly in the pocket of the Trump nazi.

A judge figuratively holds the Trump nazi's feet to the fire. United Press International reports:

"A federal judge in Pennsylvania on Thursday ordered the Trump campaign and the Republican party to produce evidence of vote-by-mail fraud in the state. District Judge J. Nicholas Ranjan called on President Donald Trump's re-election campaign to produce evidence supporting his claims of voter fraud in the state by Friday after it sued to ban dropboxes for mail ballots at county elections offices, CNN reported. "The Court finds that instances of voter fraud are relevant to the claims and defenses in this case," Ranjan wrote. The Democratic Party and the Sierra Club wrote to the court on Wednesday requesting information and documents detailing how the Republican Party and the Trump campaign determined the possibility of fraud, particularly related to the use of dropboxes, ballot collection and mail-in ballots. Lawyers representing the Democrats wrote that the Trump campaign "should not be permitted to raise such spectacular fraud-related claims, particularly in this national climate." The Trump campaign, along with the Republican National Committee, three U.S. Representatives from Pennsylvania and two Republican voters who sought to serve as poll watchers filed the lawsuit against Pennsylvania Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar and the boards of elections for all 67 of the state's counties in June. The suit alleges that dropboxes were used unconstitutionally in the state's June 2 primary, as election officials make decisions outside of what is allowed by laws and county elections officials set up different policies throughout the state, violating constitutional guarantees of equal protection."

"The government agency responsible for policing Wall Street brought the fewest number of insider trading cases in decades, according to the most recent available data."

"That decline came just before the COVID-19 pandemic hit. NPR reviewed data from the 1980s through last year and found that under the Trump administration, the SEC brought just 32 insider trading enforcement actions in 2019, the lowest number since 1996."

That was the lowest number of defendants in insider trading cases since Ronald Reagan was president, and about half of the annual average over the last three decades. "In a statement, a spokesperson for the SEC called insider trading enforcement a "core component" of the commission's work, saying, "We continue to vigorously pursue insider trading cases against individuals and companies."

More on Manafort and his collusion with the Russians vis a vis the 2016 Presidential Election. United Press International reports:

"Former Trump strategist Paul Manafort worked closely during the 2016 campaign with a man described as a "Russian intelligence officer," a report Tuesday by the Senate intelligence committee concluded. The 966-page bipartisan report said Manafort -- who is now serving a seven-year prison sentence related to the Justice Department's Russia investigation -- maintained a close relationship with Russian national Konstantin Kilimnik, who it names as a Russian intelligence officer. Titled "Counterintelligence Threats and Vulnerabilities," the report is the fifth and final volume of the Senate committee's Russia inquiry -- and in some areas mirrors that of special counsel Robert Mueller, but exceeds it in scope. The report says Kilimnik, an aide to pro-Russian Ukrainian oligarch Oleg Deripaska, became an "integral part of Manafort's operations in Ukraine and Russia" and was Manafort's "primary liaison" to Deripaska. He eventually managed Manafort's office in Kyiv. "Kilimnik and Manafort formed a close and lasting relationship that endured to the 2016 U.S. elections and beyond," the report states. The Senate committee determined that Manafort sought to hand over sensitive internal polling data and campaign strategy to Kilimnik during the campaign, although investigators were unable to determine what the Russian operative did with the information. In another finding, the committee said Kilimnik "may have been connected" to the Russian hacking and leaking of Democratic emails. "Taken as a whole, Manafort's high level access and willingness to share information with individuals closely affiliated with the Russian intelligence services, particularly Kilimnik and associates of Oleg Deripaska, represented a grave counterintelligence threat," the committee wrote."

"Manafort, 71, was sentenced to prison for tax evasion, fraud and witness tampering in connection with Mueller's investigation. He was allowed in May to leave prison to serve the rest of his sentence in home confinement due to threats associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. The Senate report said investigators found evidence that then-Republican candidate Donald Trump and top campaign officials had approached conservative strategist Roger Stone for information about WikiLeaks' pending release of the damaging emails that had been stolen by Russian hackers. "At their direction, Stone took action to gain inside knowledge for the campaign and shared his purported knowledge directly with Trump and senior campaign officials on multiple occasions," the report says. Mueller's investigation found last year that there was no hard evidence that Trump's campaign had colluded with Russian actors before the election. It did note, however, numerous "episodes" in which Trump may have obstructed justice as president. He was impeached by the Democratic-controlled House last December on a similar charge but was acquitted in the Republican-held Senate. "We found no evidence of 'collusion,'" Sen. Marco Rubio, the intelligence committee's acting chairman, tweeted. "At nearly 1,000 pages, Volume 5 stands as the most comprehensive examination of ties between Russia and the 2016 Trump campaign to date -- a breathtaking level of contacts between Trump officials and Russian government operatives that is a very real counterintelligence threat to our elections," ranking Democrat Sen. Mark Warner said in a statement. "This cannot happen again."

"Federal prosecutors on Thursday indicted one-time presidential aide Steve Bannon and three others on charges of taking money donated to help build a wall along the southern border, authorities said. Bannon, Brian Kolfage, Andrew Badolato, Timothy Shea "and others orchestrated a scheme to defraud hundreds of thousands of donors," according to prosecutors in the U.S. Attorney's office for the Southern District of New York. The defendants' online crowdfunding campaign “We Build The Wall” raised more than $25 million, with Kolfage "repeatedly and falsely assured the public that he would 'not take a penny in salary,'" prosecutors said in a statement. And Bannon "publicly stated, 'we’re a volunteer organization,'” prosecutors said. But in fact, prosecutors said, the defendants took hundreds of thousands of donated dollars and used them for personal expenses. Bannon was taken into custody by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service on Thursday morning, officials said. He's expected to make his first appearance in court later on Thursday. He was aboard a 150-foot-long yacht in Long Island Sound, off the coast of Westbrook, Connecticut, when he was arrested, law enforcement sources told NBC News. Bannon is not the owner of the vessel and the arrest was made without incident. Bannon is the former executive chairman of Breitbart News and once served as chief strategist for President Donald Trump."

"A federal judge on Thursday denied President Donald Trump’s latest attempt to quash a probe by New York prosecutors seeking his tax returns and other financial documents. The ruling by U.S. District Judge Victor Marrero amounted to a second loss in Trump’s high-stakes court battle with Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance. Marrero had rejected Trump’s initial attempt to block a subpoena from Vance seeking eight years of his tax returns. The Supreme Court ruled last month that the president is not immune from a grand jury subpoena while in office but allowed him to make an alternative argument to fight it. In his 103-page ruling, Marrero rejected Trump’s new argument that Vance’s subpoena is “wildly broad” and was issued in “bad faith.” “At its core, it amounts to absolute immunity through a back door, an entry point through which not only a President but also potentially other persons and entities, public and private, could effectively gain cover from judicial process,” Marrero wrote. The decision moves Vance one step closer to obtaining the president's financial records. But within just a few hours of the ruling, Trump's lawyers filed an emergency motion appealing the decision and asking for a freeze on the case."

Still don't think that likely to happen. After all, you're bought and paid for. Owned. Not only by your government masters, but their masters. The corporate management suite. Your employers. Think not? Wake up. You're human chattel. Corporate-owned, bought and paid for. Precisely, why you cowardly, compliantly, literally bare your asses for corporate inspection by the company doctor. Willingly, compliantly, cowardly piss in a cup under employer supervision. To sit in front of a keyboard or stock shelves all day. You have no control of your lives. You're owned. Forget? For a measly salary, no job security, reduced to no benefits. At a time of record corporate profits and cash reserves.

Then, you gallingly complain about the oppression as you tolerate egregious theft of your labor. Not only by your corporate masters, but their bought and paid for government lackeys. Too cowardly to stand up, allow disclosure of your identity when you rightfully complain to this publication of being mercilessly f--ked. Some of you falsely arrested, criminally assaulted, bogusly fined for 'offenses' you did not commit. To line County coffers. Keep the peasants in line and under control. A fascist police-state. Nazi America.

Again, yet another reason why this publication is called Liberty In Peril. Most galling? Nothing changes if you fail to step up and challenge corrupt, abusive, inept authority. Too afraid, cowardly compliant to let the bastards know who you are. Did it ever occur to the cowards out there if the identity of the accuser is kept under wraps the bastards will falsely claim it's all made up by this publication? Thus, conveniently killing all credibility. Wake up.

Cowardice is unbecoming, unworthy of our formerly great country. Insult to injury? There are the hopelessly deranged who believe the chicanery reported here to be manufactured anyway. No matter the effort. No matter the research. No matter the proof. Wake up. This writer cannot do it alone. Snowball's chance in hell. Then again, cowardice, delusion is always amply, justly rewarded. Always. You continue to 'enjoy' the very best government money can buy. Literally.
