Getting online has gotten increasingly difficult and expensive last four months.  Worse, access is outside since most establishments are closed or limited to drive-thru operations.  Lap tops are not designed to be used in such an environment.  Extremely difficult to see the screen.  Time for the readership to step up and provide assistance.  TC 7-24-20

In response to the pandemic, government quickly imposed draconian restrictions making access to public wifi exceptionally difficult.  Consequently, editions of this publication will be briefer and posted as regularly as possible until circumstances change.  TC 3-20-20

Publisher's Note: This publication receives no financial support through advertising.  Although shaken down, looted, and abused by corrupt government, area businesses remain unwilling to stand up.  Locals are too gutless to donate financially, cowardly fearing retribution.  For this publication to survive, national readers need to contribute.  Liberty In Peril is, has been, and will always remain beholden to NO ONE. -- Precisely why there is no financial assistance.  ... From day of launch and certainly a no-brainer to this very day, firmly resolved to walk away first rather than compromise principle. -- To the chagrin of many and delight of few.    T.C. (5-7-13).

For new readers:  Fascism, nazism, national socialism defined as the pernicious blend of government, business, and religion. 'Justified' by perversion and bastardization of the latter.

No matter what, no matter where, this publication will remain up and running.  For it to remain centered here, however, financial and/or material support must be provided.  Status quo, unsustainable.  Time to step up.  Now.

Brother dearest.  ... Been awhile, hasn't it, Bro?  A little antsy?  Wondering when the next shoe is about to fall, that is, when you'll be fully exposed for the thieving son of a bitch you truly are?  Patience.  All in good time, good buddy.  When I'm damned good and ready.  Timing just right.  After all, a son of a bitch who's stolen his father's estate needs to be fully exposed publicly for whom and what he is, don't you think?  Indeed, a public service for your neighbors, professional associates, family, and friends, etc..

Conveniently, forget?  Others need to protect themselves against a fraud who masquerades as both a teacher and a counselor, no?  -- How the hell did you ever pass an MMPI some forty years ago to get hired?  You're not stable.  Have not been.  ... Must have really been pissed off at the old man to rip off an estate, no?  How much did you steal while he was alive and supposedly under your care?

How much did you bribe law enforcement to ignore a complaint I filed with them years before the old man died?  How much did you bribe the prosecutor to ignore a complaint filed with her several years ago?  How much?  Use the old man's money to bribe the bitch?  Her cohorts?  Your law enforcement shysters?  While there may indeed be no justice from a corrupt system, fortunately, I do have a way to publicly expose you for the goddamned thieving son of a bitch you truly are.

... Unlike our grandmother who scrubbed floors on her hands and knees during the Depression for peanuts, only to have what little she had stolen by her son, our uncle, another goddamned thieving son of a bitch just like you.  Remember how, surprise, surprise, there was no life insurance when our grandfather died?  Despite the fact our grandmother gave her thieving bastard son premium money year after goddamned year?  Only, as the thieving son of a bitch he truly was, to have pocketed it.  Again, just like you.

Remember when he booted her out of the house she had bought him when he had had enough of her?  -- Despite the fact he had lied and promised she could stay the rest of her life?  She had to climb two flights of stairs on an ulcerated leg to get to a bathroom he had never built for her at ground level as falsely promised.   Nothing ever happened to the thieving son of a bitch as far as justice was concerned.  Worse, he was never exposed publicly for the thieving son of a bitch he truly was.

Will be different for you, Bro.  While you've bought off authorities, you will be publicly exposed.  In great detail.  In good time.  When I'm damned good and ready.  When exposure will do the maximum figurative damage to your goddamned sordid reputation.  -- Just the truth, brother dearest, however.  Just the truth.

Irony of ironies?  When the thieving son of a bitch died, and our mother was finally informed he had passed, she cried for her brother, -- the bastard thief who stole from her mother.  Sad, isn't it?  Too bad she's not still alive to see you publicly exposed for the goddamned thieving son of a bitch you, yourself, truly are.  As was he.  Not in a court of law you've bought off, however.  Right here.

In good time.  Again, when I'm damned good and ready.  Employing the very same tactics used against Amanda Wright of Wells Fargo.  -- On steroids, however, since all dirty family laundry will be aired.  All of it.  No threat.  A promise.  Emails sent to your neighbors, friends, professional associates, businesses you deal with.  Although an enormous amount of work, all doable courtesy of the Internet.  Despite being some 1,800 miles away.  -- Small world, isn't it, Bro?  Enjoy the stolen loot, you son of a bitch.  Forget?  It's all you have.

Brother dearest.  Save all the check stubs from the old man's accounts?  Fraudulently sign any of them yourself?  Think this material couldn't be obtained from the banks either through discovery or a criminal investigation?  Still own the house on Condict Rd.?   Any other properties besides this one and the old man's you stole with the help of your shyster bastard? Be interesting to see how far your assets extend and where.  Think all that information isn't accessible?  That I won't determinedly obtain it?

That not only an extensive Internet search will be conducted that will likely take months to complete?  But an extensive background check as well?  Think the Catholic high school you attended shouldn't be informed of the thievery of one of its graduates?  Think the clerics there would be appalled at their failure to teach you right from wrong?  How about both universities?  Think neighbors in the old man's neighborhood won't be informed of your deception?  Think they don't have a right to know?

Ever follow the advice of Dr. Bert Wiser, psychological statistics professor at MSU?  That is, get treatment for your achingly debilitating instability?  Is that why you wound up looting the old man?  Or, is it simply a convenient excuse you'll use to defend the indefensible?  Think this will end any time soon?  That is, public exposure of you as a thieving son of a bitch?  We're just getting started, Bro.  Just getting started.

Don't like it?  Tough shit.  Sue me you thieving son of a bitch.  Would use discovery to learn and post on this website all there is to know about you, your activities, predilections, business 'deals,' as well as all your financial transactions, etc..  All of it.  Would certainly avoid the expense of an extensive background check on you, thieving brother dearest.

Even if you were successful in court, there is nothing for you to take, this remains, as well, a homesteading state where minimal assets are protected anyway.  This site is hosted in an overseas country that doesn't particularly like government intrusion, remains not prone to cooperate.  Besides, can always upload to another webhost in still yet another country.  The possibilities are endless, Bro.  Just takes willingness, effort, unshakable determination.

Even if I lost it all would be more than worth it to expose you for the goddamned thieving son of a bitch you truly are.  Even if you bribed a goddamned nazi 'judge' to remove posted material, would not cooperate and be more than willing to rot in jail.  Would certainly keep reposting it all no matter the cost and/or personal consequences every time it was taken down.  Forget, you thieving son of a bitch?  I never ever give up.

Since all I seek is your exposure for the thief you truly are, would all be worth it.  For the sake of principle.  All the work, financial cost, as well as the time I am about to dedicate to this effort, you deceptive, unstable, sick, thieving son of a bitch.  Unlike you, I live on principle and have absolutely nothing to lose.  You do.  Will certainly take great pleasure and satisfaction in doing all I can to publicly expose you for whom and what you are.

To say nothing of placing enormous pressure on prosecutors you and your equally corrupt shyster son of a bitch apparently bribed.  Don't like it?  Again, tough shit. Chew harder.  The public needs to know to protect itself.  From you and your shyster bastard.  People who live and travel in your circles as well.  Including his.  As a thief, you and he can't be trusted by anyone.  You'll determinedly f--k them.

More than willing to provide this truly public service.  People certainly need to know whom and what you are.  What you have sadly become.  You certainly weren't brought up to be a thieving son of a bitch.  What happened?  Where did you lose yourself, Bro?  -- Never mind.  ... Truly doesn't matter.  Only your exposure.

TC 4-22-16

Hey, Bro?  Remember me?  How soon they conveniently forget.  ... Half asleep? -- Out to lunch?  ... In your own perverse little world?  That of a criminal?  Wake up.  Conveniently, gutlessly forget?  Insanely believe you're someway, somehow off the hook?  Think again.  We're not done.  You remain a thief who will be exposed for whom and what your are.  What you certainly have become.  No question about that.  Patience, you thieving son of a bitch.  Exposure is coming.  Promise.

Think I don't have time?  Truly believe the ongoing Presidential fiasco ends no matter who wins?  The murderous decay in law enforcement gets resolved any time soon?  Criminal Wells Fargo employees from local Kingsland bank manager Amanda S. Wright right up to and including CEO John Stumpf get prosecuted in the near future despite egregious criminal activity?  Wouldn't hold my breath, would you?

Think I don't have time to handle all this and your public exposure for the estate-stealing criminal son of a bitch you've truly become?  How could you steal from the old bastard, you incredibly sad sack of shit?  Certainly weren't brought up to be a thief.  What happened to you?  Where'd you lose yourself?

No question, 2017 will be a most remarkable, defining year for you, Bro.  Public exposure for the thieving piece of shit you've sadly become.  It's on the way. Promise.  Hope you sue.  Nothing for you to take.  Tough, isn't it?  Certainly, makes me judgment proof.  Will certainly, as well, take advantage of discovery.  Publish every detail I can get my hands on.  No matter the consequences.  Only consideration?  Prime directive?  Your exposure for whom and what you are.

Readers?  This not-so-brotherly piece of shit stole from our father.  Manipulated the old man to line his pockets.  Just like our uncle on my mother's side of the family did to my grandmother.  Runs in the family.  Our family.   ... Right, Bro?  This game now gets played my way, -- not yours, you son of a bitch.  That is, no more U.S. Mail tag.

Anything sent by mail will be refused, returned unopened.  Want contact?  Email.  libertyinperil@riseup.net.  Quick.  Easy.  Better yet?  A digital record.  Permanent.  Easily accessible.  Easily uploaded to this site when and if it becomes necessary.  The shyster bastard you hired to steal the estate shouldn't expect escape, either, from public exposure as the thieving piece of shit he, like you, truly both are.  Unscrupulous thieves.

Sincerely hope that piece of crap sues as well.  Nothing to take.  Discovery again would be published no matter the personal cost.  Nothing quite like public exposure, is there?  Especially, when it is nothing but the truth and there is absolutely nothing to lose exposing two pieces of criminal shit for whom and what they are.  Two pieces of gutless human excrement who looted an old man.  ... Right, Bro?

There is no better disinfectant than sunlight, readers.  Glaring sunlight.  Dazzling brilliance.  Amazing how the roaches run for cover.  Equally pointedly, how vermin on two legs manage to so easily prey on the elderly courtesy of the out of control fascist police-state we now live in.  While there'll never be any justice vis a vis this theft, there will be exposure to the brilliant light of day for both criminal perpetrators.  Count on it, you not-so-brotherly criminal son of a bitch.

TC 10-7-16

Hey, Bro?  Hear of Old Sturbridge Village?  Haven't?  ... Not lying, are you, you thieving son of a bitch?  You and your long-term companion EC conspire, bequeath some of the old man's loot to this museum?  An achingly stingy gift of $250-$499, -- considering the size of the estate?  The CEO and Board have any idea you stole it?  Think they'd care?  -- Just getting started, dearest, dearest Bro.  ... Delusionally believe I haven't more than enough time, resources, determination to expose you for the thieving piece of crap you truly are?  ... Under $500 back in 2013?  Remarkably parsimonious with stolen money aren't you?   What does it feel like to have gutlessly ripped off an incompetent old man?  -- Dear old Dad.  Certainly, look forward to digging much deeper into how you and your shyster lawyer managed to bamboozle and loot the old bastard.  Back in the day, certainly wouldn't have fallen for your bullshit.  Would have kicked your worthless, thieving ass out the door.  Intend to expose it to the light of day.  Indeed, a public service. Seatbelts on, you thieving son of a bitch. Tally ho!

TC 3-24-17

... Brief aside, dear readers, for a most exceptional reason.  -- Although infrequent, pressing ongoing personal business must come first on rare occasion.  Hope you agree, moreover, find it entertaining, -- as this writer did crafting what follows.  Principle trumps all.  Remains prime mover, prime directive no matter what.

This pressing issue involves a family thief. A heartless predator preying on the elderly who must be held accountable, exposed to the light of day.  Especially, since authorities failed to do their job.  The following is part of that continuing effort to expose this piece of shit for whom and what he is:

Hey, Bro?  Guess what?  Me, again.  Most determined pain in the ass.  Miss me?  An inconvenient, nagging hemorrhoid that simply won't go away no matter what.  -- A pile with a smile that takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'.

... Delusionally think this most persistent nemesis of yours conveniently disappeared to parts unknown, vanished in thin air? To give a turd a break?  Wake up.  Not a chance, you thieving son of a bitch.  ... When you insanely believe this writer's gone and you're finally in the clear, guess what, here I am, right in your face.

Despite what's going on across our formerly great country, always have more than enough time for personal business.  That is, exposing you, Bro, to the glaring light of day.  A pathetically greedy predator.  Your target, who else, the elderly.  Most defenseless, vulnerable, an easy fleece.  -- Thought you'd steal from the surly old curmudgeon with impunity, no consequences?

Successfully escape accountability? Avoid detection, all responsibility?  Blatant theft of an old man's estate?  A little help from a bought and paid for hopelessly greedy unprincipled shyster?  Supposed cake walk due to 1800 miles separation?  No one to hold you accountable?  Your feet to the fire?  What could you possibly been thinking?

You've read this publication before.  Know precisely who and what I am, what I do.  Never give up.  Never say die.  Ignore all obstacles.  Know full well Liberty In Peril modus operandi remains as relentlessly ferocious, blindingly intense as ever.

No punches pulled.  No slack.  No personal consideration.  Certainly, not for a gutless son of a bitch, no more than a thieving predator.  Looted target, guess who, dear old dad.  Pitiful.  Delusionally believe you had the booty coming?  An entitlement?  For having had to put up with his shit all those years?  Wake up.

Hear of Historic Deerfield?  Of course, you have, you lying son of a bitch.  Forget?  You're one of their not-so-generous 'benefactors.'  ... With all the money stolen from our father's estate, only bequeath them a piss poor $40 bucks?

Unbelievable.  An achingly tight, cheap, thieving, worthless piece of duplicitous crap.  ... Write-off?  Negligible.  ... Feather in the cap? How?  Delusionally believe your treachery would never see the light of day? What planet do you live on?

Board of Trustees Chair Anne K. Groves know full well you looted the estate?  How about President Philip Zea?  Think both don't have a right to know?  How about Anne Lanning, Vice President For Museum Affairs?  To say nothing of Susan Martinelli, Vice President For Business Affairs?

These officials are entitled to know precisely whom they're doing business with.  A thief.  Gutless phony.  Blow-hard fraud.  Hoity-toity dandy.  Worse?  An unprincipled thief who stole from his father.  ... Glaring light of day sucks, doesn't it, Bro?  No escaping the unvarnished truth, this most bitter reality.  Not a chance.

Saddest of all?  Back in the day, Hell would have frozen over before anyone would have have been able to rip off the craggy old bastard.  Remember quite well how intent, determined he was not to be fleeced late in life by a sick son of a bitch like you.

A leech.  Ironic, isn't it?  Gutless rip off of an old man who couldn't adequately handle his affairs any longer.  How do you sleep nights?

Fraud runs in the family, clearly.  History repeating itself.  Right in the footsteps of our grandmother's son, who callously ripped off his mother decades ago.  Again, another achingly pathetic piece of human excrement.  Just like you.  Intend to lay it bare.  Methodically.  Painstakingly. In great detail.  Living, breathing color.

For all to see.  A public service.  Exposure of the criminal piece of human excrement you truly are.  For sustained public review.  A goddamned thief.  Pissed? Chagrined?  Nonplused?  Tough shit.  Sue.  Would certainly immediately post all discovery no matter the consequences.

All snail mail will be returned unopened.  No phone tag.  Got something to say? Email.  Say it right here.  On this website.  In public.  For the world to see.  Will be posted in its entirety.  No editing.  Unlike you, this writer doesn't lie, cheat, steal.  Honors his word.  Intend to expose you precisely for whom and what you are.

Duplicitous predator who preyed on his own father.  Blinding exposure to benefit the community.  Have nothing to lose providing this public service, but you do.  No better disinfectant than sunshine.

.. Think the old bastard not spinning in his grave?  -- Old lady not doing the same?  One thing for certain.  Neither brought you up to be a goddamned thief.  Yet, here we are.  ... Until next time, Tally Ho!

5-25-18

... Hey, Sheriff? Is it true Llano County Attorney Becky Lange has advised you to stay out of the "Berardi Property Rights Denial-Damage To Pace Arrow-Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764" fiasco?  That right, Bill?  Isn't that obstruction of justice?  Also true your deputies have advised the Bolens to accept the status quo and not force the no-trespassing issue with Greene?  If so, isn't that also obstruction and official oppression?  When will you do your job, Bill?  As an elected official, you answer to the public, forget?  -- No honor?  ... No honor at all? If the foregoing allegations are indeed true, didn't you swear an oath to uphold the law and Constitution?  Why aren't you doing so?  No guts?

Your deputy has been accused of abusing authority.  What action have you taken other than ignore the complaint?  Why aren't both Rodriguez and the County Attorney under criminal investigation?  The County Attorney appears to be obstructing justice, accepting the word of Greene in lieu of two surveyor companies who strongly assert otherwise.  Both the County Attorney and District Attorney have ignored complaints.  Par for the course in Llano County, isn't it?  Failed to do their jobs.  No surprise there, right, Bill?  Both receiving 'special consideration' up to and/or including a bribe from Greene?  Regardless, clearly, no justice in Nazi Llano County.  Bottom line?  Desperate need for an outside criminal investigation.  Conveniently, forget?  This County is ruled by men, certainly not rule of law and the United States Constitution.

Precisely, why there is desperate need for a new federal agency whose sole function would be to investigate, arrest, charge, and prosecute criminal law enforcement, prosecutors, and judges in a special court whose only mandate would be to adjudicate such cases.  Total independence.  Until that happens, the criminal bastards who falsely believe they run and own this hell hole County will continue to do as they please.

Tim Chorney, Publisher
Liberty In Peril

Some salient quotes occurring later on in this edition vis a vis unfinished business County officials continue to ignore:

... "No justice.  Precisely, why there is desperate need for a new federal agency whose sole function would be to investigate, arrest, charge, and prosecute corrupt, abusive, criminal officers, prosecutors, and judges in a special court that would adjudicate only these cases.  Total independence.  The only way to rein in these criminals, particularly the murderers in blue.

Sadly, the achingly clueless bastards in law enforcement don't need a legitimate reason to kill.  Enjoy carte blanche to murder on the job.  Nearly always, with impunity.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Sue the living shit out of the jackbooted motherf--kers, the department, and the city.  Any officer engaged in, or threatening this kind of unnecessary violence needs to be criminally prosecuted.  Not protected and coddled.  Not put on paid leave, -- no more than a paid vacation.  Not sent home without pay to catch up on his beauty sleep.

Firing is egregiously insufficient.  How can the law enforcement community be trusted?  No foreign power, no terrorist organization, not even the criminal element presents a greater threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties than the criminal jackbooted bastards in law enforcement.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Madam County Attorney?  "Sonny Boy?"

These are extremely dangerous times for our formerly great country.  ... Hear the rumble?  An unwanted dreaded second American revolution catastrophically looming.  -- As our legislators and other government officials figuratively 'fiddle while Rome burns.'

Not good enough.  Nowhere near.  Short of an unwanted dreaded second American revolution, only one way for these atrocities to end.  Again, time for a new federal agency whose sole function would be to investigate, arrest, charge, prosecute corrupt, abusive, criminal officers, prosecutors, and judges in a special court whose sole function would be to adjudicate such cases.  Total independence.

Local  and state authorities are egregiously incapable of handling these cases. Tend to protect their own.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Goes with the territory, doesn't it, Bill?  Precisely, why there is no faith or trust in your criminal jackbooted bastards.  Local authorities here in Nazi Llano County have their heads figuratively, securely lodged so far up their clueless ass their eyeballs are turning inside out.  Protect and coddle your clueless, out of control officers.  Imagine that.

Unadulterated, blatant ongoing horse shit.  ... Right, Bill?  F--k these jackbooted bastards.  Aren't worth a crap.  Continually abrogate their oaths of office to protect and defend the United States Constitution.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Includes not only deputies, but the brass as well.  No principles.  No honor.  Lying, conniving, abusive, murderous jackbooted thieving thugs.  The American Civil Liberties Union needs to step up and represent the victims of abusive law enforcement.

To say nothing of innocent civilians all across our formerly great country who are victimized by abusive police.  Need far better representation than a public defender.  Forget?  It's how the bastards in government line government coffers.  All too often, looting the innocent.  Those on the bottom of the food chain.  ... Right, Sheriff?

No justice.  The American Way.  Nazi America.  When is this shit finally going to end?  All of it.  Wake up, Sheriff.  Again, where is dashcam video of the killing of Jeffrey Gray Wise, 52, of Austin by DPS and the Llano County Sheriff's Office?  Two hundred twenty-five weeks, now.  A goddamned disgrace.

Why are you still sitting on this information?  What are you hiding, Sheriff?  What is the identity of the officers who killed Wise?  Too gutless to release this information to the public that pays your salary and that of your goons?  Reportedly, there were three officers involved in the shooting.  Who the hell are they?

When will the goddamned 'law' 'enforcement' community finally stop making excuses for engaging in outrageous criminal activity including blatant murder, violent assault, sexual assault, theft, drug trafficking, etc.?  List can go on and on.  Protecting its own no matter what it does or doesn't do? Convenient, isn't it, Sheriff?  Again, no foreign power, no terrorist organization, not even the criminal element presents a greater threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties than all branches and levels of government, -- including law enforcement.

Corruption within law enforcement remains an existential threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties.  So what else is new?  ... Right, Bill?  Same old duplicitous, aggressively stupid shit occurs right here in Nazi Llano County.  ... Doesn't it, Sheriff?

Think it'll change any time soon?  Don't hold your breath, readers.  Not how things work in Nazi America, right, Sheriff?  Highly reminiscent of how your goons operate though, isn't it, Bill?  Forget?  'Stupid is as stupid does.'  F--ked up is f--ked up no matter where, no matter how.  Problem throughout all law enforcement.

Including right here in Nazi Llano County, right, Sheriff?  Too many officers clearly have their heads securely lodged where the sun seldom shines.  Egregious insanity continues to be perpetrated by the criminal jackbooted bastards in blue.  Ongoing issue.  All over our formerly great country.

Not just in Dallas as in the Guyger case, but all over the nation.  No end to it.  Surprised? Why?  In today's increasingly national socialist climate anything goes, right, Bill?  Live in a de facto fascist police-state, quickly transitioning to the Trump nazi's Fourth Reich.  Certainly, a problem here in Nazi Llano County, isn't it, Sheriff? Your goons, however, aren't held accountable when they egregiously f--k up. Ever.

Precisely why you refuse to release information on your deputies to the long-suffering public? That is, employment history, criminal background, results of drug testing, etc..  ... Got to protect your criminal jackbooted thugs preying on the citizenry with virtual impunity, right, sir?

Equally pointedly, why hasn't Llano County Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764 been held criminally accountable for egregious abuse of power involving denial of property rights to a Kingsland property owner?  To say nothing of consequent resultant physical damage done to a motor home on that property.  Why are you protecting this clueless son of a bitch, Sheriff?

Why hasn't he been prosecuted for official oppression?  Where is financial compensation for the damage this jackbooted piece of human excrement is responsible for? Ferociously pointedly, why are the District Attorney and the County Attorney continuing to protect this jackbooted piece of shit?  He and others like him present an exigent threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties.

Equally to the point, why are your jackbooted pieces of human excrement refusing to enforce Berardi's property rights?  Your goons have failed to take action against Theresa Ahrens when she tore down a no trespassing sign and barrier on Berardi's property.  Have you, your goons, and/or Madam County Attorney been bribed by Johnny Greene?

Ahrens frequently drives all the way through Berardi's property.  Coup de grace?  When Berardi complained to Llano County Deputy Idle about the trespassing, the officer's response was insane.  Said the Sheriff told him to tell Berardi since Ahrens believes she owns his property she can't be charged with trespassing.  Perfect Catch-22, right, Sheriff?  You're not fit for office, Bill.  Bribed by Johnny Greene?

Why is Theresa Ahrens allowed by your goons to dictate what vehicles can and cannot be parked on Berardi's property?  Ahrens claims she has proof the property belongs to her where the vehicle was parked.  Has failed to produce it. Surveyors say otherwise.  Back up Berardi.  Yet, your jackbooted bastards refuse to enforce Berardi's property rights.  Why?  Somebody lining somebody's pockets, Sheriff?

Ms. Ahrens micro-mini portable 'house' is parked on an unused unmarked Llano County road.  Imagine that.  Madam County Attorney well-aware.  Has done nothing.  Shit squat.  Egregiously ignored her oath of office.  Someone bribing you, Becky?  Lining your pockets, Counselor?  Paying you not to sell the unused unmarked County road to Berardi?  Doesn't the County want and need the sale money, to say nothing of the resultant tax income?

No question, County and State agencies remain determinedly, concertedly, achingly incapable of criminal investigation of their own.  Precisely, why a new federal agency desperately needs to be created whose sole function would be to investigate, arrest, charge, prosecute corrupt, abusive, criminal officers, prosecutors, and judges in a special court whose sole function would be to adjudicate only such cases.  Total independence.  Certainly, go a long, long way to cleaning up this cess pool County.  Rein in the outrageously corrupt, abusive, achingly inept, self-serving assholes who run and own this hell hole.

Sheriff, you falsely claim the Kingsland County Commissioner has the authority to resolve this ongoing property rights issue.  Clearly, doesn't.  You, Madam County Attorney, and "Sonny Boy" are certainly an egregious impediment, continue to determinedly stonewall.  Someone's pockets are being lined.  Again, where's financial compensation for the damage Llano County Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764 is directly responsible for to the Pace Arrow?  Why hasn't he been prosecuted for this damage, to say nothing of infringement of Berardi's property rights?  -- Just getting started, Sheriff.  Far more to come.

-- You're not doing your jobs, Sheriff.  You've got a loose vicious dog problem in Kingsland, Bill.  When will you and the troops finally do something about this ongoing issue?  Certainly, a recurring problem on Skyline, particularly on occasion at the intersection of Odessa.  Pedestrians, runners, and cyclists are at risk.  Too busy lining County coffers with bogus tickets?"

Counselor:

The enclosed emails were sent to the Llano County Attorney and Sheriff, respectively, vis a vis the above matter.  Remain unanswered.  The County Attorney appears to be protecting and defending the deputy at behest of Kingsland property owner Johnny Greene.  May have received some consideration from Greene up to and including a bribe.  Are the County Attorney, Greene, and the Deputy under criminal investigation?  If not, why not?

Re:  Berardi Property Rights Denial-Damage To Pace Arrow-Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764

Counselor:

As you're well aware, we have an outrageously corrupt, abusive, achingly inept Llano County Sheriff's Office here in Nazi Llano County.  Worse, you and your office aid and abet these SS jackbooted bastards in black.  The issue at the moment is the same it's been the last six months.

How is it two surveyor companies, the Appraisal District, the Tax Office, the Precinct 3 Commissioner, even the goddamned Sheriff himself now states Kingsland resident James Berardi owns the lots in contention all these months?

Yet, you ludicrously assert that's not the County's legal position.  It's not?  Why not?  You claim you're not a real estate expert.  Rather than accept the advice of two surveyor companies, the Precinct 3 Commissioner, the Appraisal District, the Tax Office, and even the Sheriff himself, you've inexplicably chosen to follow the advice of property owner Johnny Greene, -- who conveniently happens to be reportedly in the oil industry.

Question to be asked.  Could you have received any 'consideration' in return, -- up to and including a bribe?  Only way to know for sure is for the District Attorney to conduct a criminal investigation.  Apparently, there has been none.  If not, why not?

Equally pointedly, why hasn't Llano County Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764 been held criminally accountable for egregious abuse of power involving denial of property rights to this Kingsland property owner?  To say nothing of consequent resultant physical damage done to a motor home on that property.

Our achingly useless, worthless, gutless Sheriff has ignored an email vis a vis the damage this jackbooted thug is responsible for.  Interestingly, his fellow officers believe him to be an idiot.  Yet, the Sheriff continued to defend this piece of human excrement until he realized  this entire fiasco would not be swept under the carpet.

Rodriguez is indeed an idiot.  Would you believe this piece of crap ordered the motor home to be moved on to an unmarked unused Llano County road? That motor home has indeed been moved back to where it was parked before Rodriguez forced it to be moved.  Why hasn't the County paid for the cost of moving it back?  To say nothing of the damage.

Equally pointedly, why is it the County has allowed Theresa Ahrens to park and live in her tiny cottage on that very same road?  Why hasn't she been evicted by the County?  Why was she assessed taxes on an adjacent improvement she doesn't own?

Why is it, Counselor, Johnny Greene is paying for the attorney retained by Ms. Ahrens?  Is Greene attempting to make this all go away by bribery?  Greene has also informed Berardi he is going to sue.  For what?  Has Greene lost his mind?

What about Wells who installed a $4500 septic system on a lot turns out he does not own as a result of Greene, an outrageously inept County, to say nothing of the Llano County Attorney who remains equally determinedly clueless?

How about Bolen who hasn't a pot to piss in, but was nonetheless f--ked over by Greene to say nothing of an egregiously inept County, to say nothing of you and your goddamned equally incompetent office?

None of this is going away, Counselor, -- any time soon.  Will not be swept under the carpet as all the other crap going on in this hell hole County.  Not a chance.  Expect a full expose in this publication whether or not this outrageous fiasco finally gets resolved.  Including full public exposure of both the Sheriff and his jackbooted thug.

Who are they, Sheriff? Their past history?  An ongoing investigation remains a lame bullshit excuse.  How can you and your goons be trusted when you refuse to disclose information? Two hundred twenty-five weeks.  Especially, your egregious failure to disclose the identity of the officers who pulled the trigger.  To cover your sorry ass, Sheriff?  Those of your thugs?  The people have a right to know what happened, how it went down.  You don't understand that, Sheriff?  Sadly, clearly, you answer to no one.  Including taxpayers.  Especially, taxpayers.

Until you and your goons come clean, doubt will remain this was indeed a good shoot.  The longer you drag your feet, the greater the doubt.  Think not?  Wake up.  Your credibility has tanked.  Isn't getting any better as this bullshit continues unabated.  Two hundred twenty-five weeks.   Still no identification of the officers involved  ... Can't get your stories straight?  In line?  Discrepancy between LCSO and DPS? Wake up, Sheriff.  The public no longer buys the bullshit.  No longer trusts you.  On this and many, many other issues.  You have no credibility.  Absolutely, none.

Readers, this is but one of about four other highly questionable killings by law enforcement in Llano County in the last decade or so.  There was one within the City of Llano, another in a field near Fuzzy's Corner, Buchanan Dam, yet another in Point Tella, Buchanan Dam, still another in Tow.  If there are any others I may have neglected to mention, kindly email.

It's time the public be fully informed.  -- Know what we're dealing with here and how 'law' 'enforcement' operates in this hell hole County.  If these jackbooted bastards are not reined in, the life lost could be yours courtesy of a law enforcement system that is no longer accountable to anyone.  ... Right, Sheriff?  TL?  "Sonny Boy?"  Madam County Attorney?

The Sheriff seems to have no clue the people who pay him and his goons are entitled to know whom is killing whom and why.  This shit always seems to be swept under the carpet.  Ignored.  The attitude of these jackbooted sons of bitches is trust us.  They can't be.  They've lied too many times.  Refuse to be accountable to anyone.  We live in a goddamned fascist police-state where law enforcement does as it pleases. Usually, with impunity.  That has to change.

The Texas Rangers have become rubber stamp to atrocities committed by law enforcement.  This also has to change.  No one is holding law enforcement accountable any longer.  No one.  No one in state or federal government. This is precisely why Ferguson triggered such an uproar.  There was no justice there.  None here.  None anywhere.  Officers are abusive, corrupt, inept.

Falsely ticket and arrest the innocent to line County coffers.  Court fees charged continue to be horrendous.  -- Aren't taxpayers already looted to pay these costs?  Aren't you boys not only double f--king those falsely accused, but taxpayers also hellaciously looted to pay the very same costs?   Yet, the criminal bastards in power in Llano continue to pile on the fees. This is nothing more than goddamned bullshit.  This money finds its way into the pockets of the corrupt, abusive bastards who falsely believe they run and own this hell hole.

Would you believe the last time the Sheriff's Office happened to be 'audited' during the Garrett regime, reportedly, auditors couldn't figure out what went where and why? Yet, surprise, surprise.  Nothing was done.  There has to be transparency.  There is none.  Why would these thieving bastards want any?  ... Right, Sheriff?  TL?  How else could they so easily steal and loot with virtual impunity?  Worse, this reinforces jackbooted power in this goddamned, godforsaken hell hole County.

The public has a right to know the histories of the Sheriff's goons.  Clearly, the Sheriff doesn't think so.  That is, where they came from.  Why they left where they were.  What is happening here is the Sheriff is using 'personnel matters' as a convenient excuse to deny the public access to the history of outrageously corrupt, abusive, inept officers who are no more than criminals themselves.

He's protecting his outrageously corrupt, abusive, inept jackbooted bastards.  Worse, the standards imposed by sheriff's offices statewide with the exception of metropolitan counties are well below those of DPS and city police departments.  Why?  So the corruption, abuse, ineptness, and outright stealing can continue unabated?  This has to change.  ... Can't have that, can we?  Sheriff?  TL?

The public should understand Llano County authorities have it all sewn up.  Did you know the Texas Attorney General does not have the authority to investigate and prosecute County authorities on his own?  The District Attorney has to call for an investigation by the Texas Rangers.  Then, the State can prosecute if it so chooses.

Consequently?  Guess what?  Nothing will happen.  Nothing ever does.  The goddamned corruption continues unabated until you, the public, pressure authorities.  Precisely, why we all enjoy the 'best' government money can buy. Literally.  Without question, the corrupt, abusive, inept sons of bitches are all bought and paid for.  Firmly clamped to the taxpayer tit.  Dependent on money looted from innocent citizens caught in their web.  Phony fines and court costs cleverly designed to f--k the innocent and enrich the pieces of shit who falsely believe they run and own Llano County. Right, Sheriff?  TL?  "Sonny Boy?"  Madam County Attorney?

Interestingly, the former Sheriff and District Attorney were reportedly forced to retire after an outrageous scandal involving a drunk driving police officer from out of town.  Including special treatment of the drunken son of a bitch that no other citizen caught doing the same would have been afforded.  An honest, honorable Llano County Deputy suffered the consequences. Forget? Great officers do not last in this hell hole County. ... Right, Sheriff?  TL?  "Sonny Boy?"  Madam County Attorney?

With all ongoing abuse in this goddamned County, one thing remains for damned sure.  We're just getting started, Sheriff.  You will continue to be exposed for whom and what you and your corrupt, abusive, inept jackbooted bastards have become, truly are, not what you phonies purport to be, that is, how you continue to f--k over a public you've falsely sworn to protect and defend.  -- Exposure, the only way short of an unwanted dreaded revolution to force desperately needed change in a goddamned fascist police-state. The Fourth Reich.

Have your jackbooted thugs been tested for steroids, Sheriff?  If you've nothing to hide, Bill, release the results of all drug testing.  'Personnel matters?'  Bullshit.  Looted taxpayers have the right to know.  They're footing the bill for all this goddamned corruption, abuse, ineptness. When will you and the boys end the shakedowns?  Looting of the innocent to line County coffers?  No honor at all?

Where are your swastika armbands, you fascist son of a bitch?  You and your thugs remain out of uniform.  Once again, Sheriff, and ad nauseum, did you and/or your goons pressure Schilling to exit the race?  Did you steal the election? If so, an aggressively stupid, achingly gutless public gets what it truly deserves.  One of the most corrupt, abusive, inept 'law' 'enforcement' agencies in our formerly great country.

While the business and church communities stood tall during the recent Kingsland flood catastrophe, there was one glaring exception.  On 10-17-18, the Antlers Coffee Shop closed due to storm-related failure of the Kingsland water system. Patrons, however, are routinely allowed to get online outside even when the shop is closed.

A long-term coffee shop customer entered the hotel lobby to ask the desk clerk whether wifi was still up and running after the catastrophe.  She said it was and told the patron he could get online inside the closed shop.  She then asked him to have another regular customer who had just arrived outside to come in and get out of the cold as well.

Antlers co-proprietor Rick apparently quickly got wind of both customers, made quite a jackass of himself emulating the petulant narcissist currently occupying the Oval Office.  Aggressive stupidity at a time the Kingsland business community is indeed suffering, can least afford it.  Further proof positive of the old adage 'can fix ignorant, can't fix stupid.'

Why would, why should both customers put up with this?  Think this hasn't happened to others?

Highly reminiscent of our outrageously bought and paid for judiciary, Llano County prosecutors, Sheriff Bill Blackburn and his criminal SS jackbooted bastards in black who continue to egregiously disgrace themselves and the badge, do as they please regardless of the law and Constitution, carefully consider the following.  It's appalling.  Runs against the grain of everything our formerly great country once stood for.  No longer.

Llano County DA "Sonny Boy" is in the news.  Received an award.  The DailyTrib reports:

"The Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission recognized District Attorney Wiley “Sonny” McAfee on August 22 for his efforts in prosecuting natural and cultural resource violations as well as environmental crimes. The commission named the 33rd and 424th district attorney the 2019 Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Prosecutor of the Year. McAfee serves Burnet, Llano, Blanco, and San Saba counties. Elected in November 2012 and taking office on January 1, 2013, he has been instrumental in a number of high-profile cases involving Texas game wardens and Texas State Park police officers."

The District Attorney has ignored a complaint filed earlier by this publication regarding special treatment accorded Texas oil man Johnny Greene by the Llano County Attorney and Sheriff vis a vis a property dispute involving a local banker, three other local property owners with homes encroaching on land they don't own, one of which is on an unused Llano County road.  To say nothing of damage to a Pace Arrow motorhome on that property.  All a result of egregious abuse of authority by Llano County Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764.  The circumstances of this fiasco can be found above in each and every edition of this publication since this happened two and a half years ago.  The Sheriff, the County Attorney, and the District Attorney have all determinedly, concertedly ignored this ongoing, unresolved fiasco raising one ferociously pointed question.  How much were they bribed?

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.

7-3-20

Last three months been getting online at the Kingsland HEB.  Met quite a few readers at the picnic table.  -- People I didn't personally know, but who came up and introduced themselves.  Certainly, grateful for your concern, caring, and moral support.  One of the Front End managers, Kevin, had granted permission to plug in and access HEB Customer wifi at the picnic table some three months ago.  Someone in County government must have subsequently complained. Three months after the fact.  LOL.  Finally got the boot 6-27-20 from the achingly gutless Store Manager who couldn't, or wouldn't stand up to pressure from this asshole.

Pathetic, isn't it?  LOL.  Certainly, knew it was coming.  Hard to believe it took three months.  LOL.  Apparently, the gutless Store Manager, Monty, sent out the second in command, Dan, to deliver the happy news.  Spoke to him awhile, but sadly as expected, he had nothing substantive to say.  Other than, "leave."  LOL.  Advised him to send out the clearly reluctant Store Manager who apparently wanted to avoid the encounter.  Finally, came out.  Imagine that.

Asked the Store Manager, Monty Young, for a business card.  Remarkably, he had none.  Couldn't be, could it?  LOL.  An HEB Store Manager with no business card?  How is that possible?  Unlimited corporate greed?  Aryan arrogance of a privately-owned corporation?  Or, was he simply lying?  Informed him he'd indeed be front and center in this next edition.

Before getting into specific detail vis a vis my conversation with the Store Manager, it must be stated staff at the Kingsland HEB is second to none.  Have known many of them for years.  Work extremely well together as a team.  Certainly, exceptionally customer-friendly.  The problem with this store is not staff.  Not even the Store Manager and Assistant Manager per se, -- who apparently, despite their denials, had been pressured by someone.  It's the HEB corporate management suite at the root of most of the problems at this store.

The following salient issues were discussed with the Store Manager before I left.  -- Interestingly, none of which he denied.  LOL.  Readers, have you noticed cheaper generic products are either continually out of stock or discontinued?  Especially, after the store changed its product line weeks before the pandemic.  Apparently, in an effort to emulate the Marble Falls store that caters to the Horseshoe Bay elite.

New larger shopping carts were brought in to the Kingsland store so shoppers would supposedly buy more product, increase store sales.  Shelves are restocked 24 hrs.  Staff was unhappy because aisles are too narrow for the larger carts.  Makes it harder to stock shelves when the store is open.  Not only that, makes it much more difficult for shoppers to navigate the narrow aisles.

Product pricing has steeply increased.  They accomplish this both by directly raising prices, as well as in engaging in deception, that is, downsizing product.  One recent glaring example is their generic bleach.  For awhile, it was unavailable, out of stock.  Then, it was downsized from three quarts to two.  Price remained at $1.  A 33% increase.  Done deceptively.  At a time when inflation is supposedly non-existent.  What ever happened to the HCF quart and a half ice cream that sold for $1.99?  Long since gone.  Both aforementioned products had already been downsized once before.  LOL.  List can go on and on.  Unbridled corporate greed.

As I reminded the Store Manager, Kingsland residents, for the most part, are poor, young, elderly, and/or disabled, etc.  This store now caters to the rich who live on the lake and Sunrise Beach.  Not sustainable.  ... Especially, if the shit finally hits the fan vis a vis the Trump nazi, and/or a second shutdown occurs courtesy of the raging, poorly-handled, achingly mismanaged pandemic.

To store employees, all of whom I admire, consider personal friends, courageously provide your ongoing grievances to this publication.  I will publish them while protecting your identity.  If you won't stand up, nothing changes.

As I informed the Store Manager, the problem in Kingsland is the fact HEB has no substantive competition.  What is desperately needed is a Walmart or other major corporation to rattle the cage of local HEB management as well as the corporate management suite.  Until that occurs, nothing changes, shit happens.  ... Right, Monty?  Dan?

In the last two and a half weeks or so, three middle-aged women tripped and fell on the curb by the picnic table.  Third time, 6-26-20.  Took the Store Manager and Assistant Manager quite some time to exit the store and arrive with ice to quell the swelling of the woman who had fallen hard on her face.  I subsequently asked Monty to consider painting the curb iridescent red or orange to avoid injury and a future lawsuit.

Responded couldn't be painted red since it wasn't a fire zone.  Could certainly be painted orange or some other bright color.  If management doesn't care about a lawsuit, where is its concern for the pain and suffering if a customer trips, falls, and suffers serious injury?  ... Couldn't care less, Monty?  -- Or, is it, shortsightedly, insurance will indeed take care of it?  Wake up.  Just a matter of time before someone gets seriously injured and sues the living shit out of HEB.  Even if HEB prevails in court, it loses.  Consider the cost of bad publicity.

To the credit of management, both the Store Manager and Assistant Manager return carts to the front of the store, sanitize them, and pick up trash.  Recently, associates informed me the Store Manager wasn't happy about the performance of the Assistant Store Manager.  LOL.  Apparently, ole' Dan got too good at hiding in the store, shirking cart and other duties, etc.  LOL.  That's apparently changed.  ... Trouble in paradise, boys?  LOL.  Itching to retire, Dan?  LOL.  Give me a break.  Never a dull moment, -- at customer and staff expense.

Finally, to the motherf--ker in County government who likely complained, don't flatter yourself.  Three months?  What took so long you gutless piece of shit?  LOL.  No matter what, Liberty In Peril will remain up and running.  Despite the fact it's been more than 21 years, just the very beginning.  Far more to come.  Far more County corruption, malfeasance, criminal activity to be followed up, and/or exposed.  LOL.  ... Bribed by Johnny Greene, Madam County Attorney?

Hell on earth.  Literally. The Washington Post reports:

"The giant silver bomber roared along the runway on Tinian Island in the darkness, passing the firetrucks and ambulances parked every 50 feet, struggling to pick up speed. "Dimples Eight Two” weighed 150,000 pounds, and with fuel for the long flight to Hiroshima, 12 men on board, and a five-ton uranium bomb in the bay, the B-29 was 15,000 pounds overweight. The pilot, Col. Paul W. Tibbets Jr., 30, had handpicked the airplane on the assembly line in Nebraska three months before and had just had his mother’s name, “Enola Gay,” painted in black letters on the nose. As the plane rumbled down the airstrip at over 100 mph, he had his lucky cigarette case with him in one pocket, and a box containing 12 cyanide capsules in another. On Aug. 6, 1945, 75 years ago Thursday, no one was sure how Special Bombing Mission No. 13, the world’s first atomic attack, would go. Would it end in disaster for the crew in Japan? Eight downed American airmen had been beheaded by the Japanese a few weeks before. Would it end in the obliteration of Hiroshima? Would the overweight airplane with the crazy call sign even get off the runway? Would the crew have need for the cyanide?"

Can still remember my mother telling me years ago, how people would cheer during newsreels as American troops used flame throwers on Japanese soldiers holed up in caves in the South Pacific.  ... As they exited the caves, screaming, -- on fire.  Decades after the fact, she opined, "What were we cheering?"  Must be remembered how savage the war in the South Pacific truly was.  How determined the Japanese were to hold on to what they had.

"Two other B-29s, the “Great Artiste” and “Necessary Evil,” were supposed to go along to take pictures and record data. But “Enola Gay” was the “strike ship.” Fifteen hundred miles to the north-northwest, under a waning crescent moon, lay a 400-year-old Japanese city most Americans probably had never heard of but whose name was about to be etched into the pages of history. It was an important enemy military site with a wartime population about 280,000, according to the historians Gordon Thomas and Max Morgan-Witts. Almost half of them were about to be incinerated, crushed, and irradiated by the crude atomic weapon named “Little Boy” that the Enola Gay carried."

This weapon was indeed crude compared to what is in existence today.  Yet, the damage?  Horrendous.  Literally, Hell on earth.

"Tens of thousands more would die the same way at Nagasaki a few days later, and the world would subsequently be hearing about megatons, mutual assured destruction, proliferation, nuclear winter, meltdowns and dirty bombs. It would be the start of a frightful era of weapons that could defy control and menace civilization."

Both atomic bombings ended the war.  As reported in an earlier edition of this publication, planners expected one million casualties, dead and wounded, should the United States had to have invaded Japan.  Was thought the Japanese would have fought to the last man, woman, and child.  With pitchforks, if necessary.

"But as “Dimples Eight Two” picked up speed that morning, its mission was born of its time: deliver a blow that the United States hoped might finally end the global butchery of World War II. (The war in Europe had ended in May.)"

American casualties up to that point had been horrendous:

"More than 100,000 American soldiers, sailors and Marines had already been killed in the Pacific since Japan’s attack on the U.S. naval base at Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941. At the time of the Hiroshima bombing, average of 5,000 were still dying each week."

Take the time to re-read the above quote.  Let it sink in.

Carefully, consider the following:

"The fighting on land, at sea and in the air had been savage. Naval and air battles had been sudden, brief and deadly. Huge ships went to the bottom with their crews. Japanese suicide pilots crashed their planes into American vessels. One air battle was so lopsided in favor of the Americans that it was called a turkey shoot. The fighting on land was different. Battles went on for months and were often fought hand-to-hand, with rifles, knives and flame throwers. Grim engagements at places like Guadalcanal, Tarawa, and Iwo Jima became legendary. The most recent, the battle for the Japanese island of Okinawa, had ended six weeks earlier, after two months and the deaths of 12,000 Americans and 100,000 Japanese. And American units were already training for a massive invasion of the Japanese home islands of Kyushu and Honshu — in Operation Olympic, set for November 1945, and Operation Coronet, planned for March 1946, according to the historians Norman Polmar and Thomas B. Allen. Landing beaches had been designated, and named after cars and car parts — Cadillac, Chevrolet, Gearshift and others. More than a million men would be involved."

Here's the issue:

"The Japanese were expected to resist ferociously, and American casualties would be enormous. President Harry S. Truman feared “an Okinawa, from one end of Japan to the other.” Tibbets’s task was to try to prevent that. If this frightening new weapon worked, the thinking went, it would shorten the war, albeit at a dreadful cost in human life."

The fact it took two atomic bomb-obliterated cities for the Japanese to surrender speaks volumes about their tenacity.

"But first the Enola Gay had to get off the ground. The lumbering aluminum plane with a 141-foot wingspan had been stripped of its armor and all defensive weaponry but its tail guns. But it still weighed 65 tons by itself and carried 7,000 gallons of fuel. As the plane strained to gain speed, Tibbets knew he was using up a lot of runway. Four B-29s had crashed and exploded on Tinian the night before, according to historians."

Consider the danger:

“If we crack up and the plane catches fire, there is danger of an atomic explosion that could wipe out half this island,” said Navy Capt. William Parsons, who flew on the mission as the bomb specialist. And because of that risk, the 10-foot-long “Little Boy” had not yet been armed. It was a “gun-type” bomb, one in which an explosive charge would fire a “subcritical” piece of uranium 235 down a six-foot-long “gun” barrel into a second subcritical piece of uranium, according to Thomas and Morgan-Witts. This created critical mass and the explosive nuclear chain reaction that would lay waste to Hiroshima. The four cloth bags of explosive and the detonator would not be inserted until the plane was in the air. The Enola Gay was now doing 180 mph but was running out of ground. Sitting beside Tibbets, the co-pilot, Capt. Robert Lewis, was alarmed. “She’s too heavy!” he shouted. “Pull her off — now!” When Tibbets, who was known as “Old Bull,” did not respond, Lewis reached for the duplicate steering yoke in front of him, according to Thomas and Morgan-Witts. “No!” Tibbets said. “Leave it!” Another crewman yelled, “Hey, aren’t we going to run out of runway?” At the last second, Tibbets lifted the bomber’s nose and “Dimples Eight Two” was streaking over the dark ocean on its way to Hiroshima."

Uncommon Valor.  At take-off.  -- Well before what was to come.

"The hour was early; the morning still, warm, and beautiful. Shimmering leaves, reflecting sunlight from a cloudless sky, made a pleasant contrast with shadows in my garden … "— Michihiko Hachiya. About 6 a.m. in Hiroshima, the air raid siren went off and blared for a full minute. It was the third alert of the day. People didn’t panic at the sound, because the siren went off routinely every morning at this time when an American weather plane passed. Hiroshima was sprawled across the flat delta formed by the multiple channels of the Ota River, which flows out of the highlands to the north and west and empties into Hiroshima Bay in southern Japan. The city, whose name means “broad island,” was built on a scattering of islands and had 82 major bridges. It was a city of mostly wooden houses, with bustling shopping districts lined with stalls. There was a Methodist cathedral, trolley lines, an airport and streets crowded with bicycles, horse carts and cars. It had a modern domed Industrial Promotion Hall, a 350-year-old pagoda-style castle, and a Red Cross hospital."

Consider the following:

"Japan had been at war for 14 years in China and other Asian countries, and for 3½ years with the United States and the Allies. Many people were hungry and ragged. In the previous 10 months, the Americans had dropped 157,000 tons of bombs on Japan, the military historian Richard B. Frank wrote in his 1999 book, “Downfall.” In Tokyo, 97,000 people had been killed and 700,000 dwellings had been destroyed. In Osaka, 9,000 people had been killed. In Nagoya, 8,000 had perished. The bombings had killed 6,000 in Kobe and 4,000 in Yokohama. Hiroshima, even though it was a regional army headquarters with 40,000 men, the site of large supply depots and a major military embarkation port, had been spared the attentions of “Mr. B” or “B-San” as the Japanese called the B-29s. Some thought there were reasons that the bombers hadn’t come: Citizens of Hiroshima had relatives in the United States; the city was too beautiful, and Americans wanted to build villas there after the war; President Truman’s mother lived nearby; the city wasn’t on American maps."

The Japanese had been warned:

"Two days before, 720,000 leaflets had been dropped warning that Japanese cities would be destroyed if Japan did not surrender. “Bombs have no eyes,” the leaflets said, urging residents to evacuate. Tens of thousands already had. That morning, people were going about their early chores, the psychiatrist and author Robert Jay Lifton wrote in his book “Death in Life, Survivors of Hiroshima.” Workers headed to factories. People read the morning paper, Chugoku Shimbun. Many were out in the open. The all-clear sounded about 7:30 a.m. “The sky was serene, the air was flooded with glittering morning light,” a history professor remembered. “I was in a state of absent-mindedness. The sirens and also the radio had just given the all-clear signal. I had reached the foot of the bridge where I halted.”

Oblivious to what was about to come:

"Thirty-one thousand feet above, the Enola Gay’s bombardier, Maj. Thomas Ferebee, 26, peered through the Norden bomb sight under the plane’s greenhouse-like canopy in the nose. He was looking for the unique structure of the T-shaped Aioi Bridge, which was the aiming point for the drop. (The Japanese air raid system had just picked up the new intruders, but its warning would come too late.) About an hour earlier, after the bomb had been fully armed, Tibbets had revealed to the crew over the intercom that they were carrying the world’s first atomic weapon. Now, flying at 200 mph, they were almost over the target. Most of the crew put on dark welder’s glasses. “I’ve got it!” Ferebee called when he spotted the bridge. Fifteen seconds passed. At 8:15 and 17 seconds, the doors of the bomb bay opened. “Bomb away!” Ferebee yelled. “Little Boy” tumbled out tail first, flipped over nose down, and began to fall through the last 43 seconds of the old era. The bomb was designed to explode over the city at an altitude of about 1,900 feet. So it had an internal radar system that detected the ground, tripped the detonator at that altitude, and initiated the detonation sequence. The bomb traveled for six miles and exploded just short of the bridge. The Enola Gay, meanwhile, lurched upward on shedding the weight of the bomb and executed a hairpin turn to escape the expected shock wave of the blast. At first, the crew saw and felt nothing. Then a giant slow-motion column of smoke and fire rose from the ground and blossomed. Tail gunner George R. Caron, 25, who had with him his Brooklyn Dodgers baseball cap and a picture of his wife and infant daughter for good luck, could see the shock wave coming fast. He yelled, just as the wave slammed into the plane. Another one hit and passed. Tibbets asked the men over the intercom what they could see so it could be recorded for posterity. “A column of smoke rising fast [with] a fiery red core,” Caron said, according to the historians Thomas and Morgan-Witts. “A bubbling mass, purple-gray in color … like a mass of bubbling molasses. The mushroom is spreading out. It’s maybe a mile or two wide and half a mile high.” “The city must be below that,” he said."

Imagine being on the ground:

"In Hiroshima, Michihiko Hachiya, a physician, had gotten home after a sleepless night as an air warden in his 125-bed government hospital. Clad in his underwear, he was resting on the living room floor. Suddenly there was a brilliant flash of light that illuminated a stone lantern in his garden. He wondered whether it was sparks from a passing trolley. Elsewhere, the Hiroshima history professor remembered that “a blinding … flash cut sharply across the sky …[followed by] dead silence … probably a few seconds … and then a … huge ‘boom’ … like the rumbling of distant thunder.” “At the same time a violent rush of air pressed down my entire body,” he recalled. “I raised my head, facing the center of Hiroshima to the west …[and saw] an enormous mass of clouds …[that] spread and climbed rapidly … into the sky. “Then its summit broke open and hung over horizontally,” he remembered. “It took on the shape of … a monstrous mushroom [with] with the … tail of a tornado. Beneath it more and more boiling clouds erupted and unfolded sideways … continuously changing.”

Literally, Hell on earth:

"At ground zero, the bomb generated a hot core of about 7,000 degrees Fahrenheit. People nearby were turned to ash. One dead man was seen still on his bicycle, leaning against a bridge railing. Many had their faces and ears melted off. The odor of burned hair was in the air. The rivers began to fill with corpses. The blast blew away houses as if in a toy town. Many victims had their clothes and eyeglasses stripped off and found themselves suddenly naked. Shadows cast by humans were burned onto buildings. Kimono patterns were burned onto skin. Skin was burned loose and fell away. About 80,000 people were killed immediately, and the toll quickly grew to at least twice that. Windy firestorms developed, and an eerie black rain fell. Hachiya’s house collapsed. His clothes had been torn off. He called for his wife, and, stunned and bleeding, they made their way outside. “The shortest path to the street lay through the house next door,” he recalled in his 1955 memoir, “Hiroshima Diary.” “We went — running, stumbling, falling … until in headlong flight we tripped over something and fell sprawling into the street.” “Getting to my feet, I discovered that I had tripped over a man’s head,” he wrote. “'Excuse me! Excuse me, please!' I cried hysterically … The head had belonged to a young officer whose body was crushed beneath a massive gate.” The couple staggered toward the hospital. He was covered only with his wife’s apron. He remembered moving in silence through a fog of smoke and dust. “There were the shadowy forms of people … like walking ghosts,” he wrote. “Others moved … like scarecrows, their arms held out from their bodies with forearms and hands dangling … I suddenly realized that they had been burned and were holding their arms out to prevent the painful friction.” “A naked woman carrying a naked baby came into view,” he remembered. “I averted my gaze. … But then I saw a naked man, and it occurred to me that, like myself, some strange thing had deprived them of their clothes.” “No one spoke,” he recalled. “Why was everyone so quiet?” The hospital was on fire. “The streets were deserted except for the dead,” he wrote. “Some looked as if they had been frozen by death while in the full action of flight; others lay sprawled as though some giant had flung them … from a great height.”

Report goes on and on.  Certainly, one of the most poignant accounts of what happened that fateful day.  Sadly, took a second atomic obliteration of a Japanese city to finally get Japan to surrender.

Desperately-needed shared redemption for Enola Gay co-pilot Capt. Robert Lewis and Hiroshima survivor Koko Kondo who was eight months old at the time of the blast, ten years old when she met the Captain.  Seatbelts on.  Truly rough stuff.  NPR reports:

"Koko Kondo was eight months old and with her mother when the first atomic bomb hit her home city of Hiroshima on August 6, 1945. Her father, Methodist minister Rev. Kiyoshi Tanimoto, had left earlier that morning. "Suddenly, the whole house crashed," Kondo remembers. She was trapped beneath the rubble with her mother. "She moved little by little and she made a little hole," Kondo told NPR's Weekend Edition of her mother's attempts to escape. "First, she put me out. Then she got out. She said when she was out from the house, the environment was completely different. Fires all over the place. So, we barely made it."

"Three days after dropping a nuclear bomb on Hiroshima, 75 years ago today, the United States dropped a second bomb on Nagasaki. "With this bomb we have now added a new and revolutionary increase in destruction to supplement the growing power of our armed forces," President Harry Truman said as he addressed the nation after the first attack on Hiroshima. Shortly after the bombs were dropped, Japan's Emperor Hirohito surrendered, ending World War II.

"In total, hundreds of thousands of people were killed and more were injured upon impact. In the days and weeks following, many more became sick from radiation poisoning. Once Kondo realized the lasting effects that had been wrought by the American attack, she vowed revenge. "As a child, I thought if they never dropped the bomb, many children didn't have to become orphans," she said. "So I said, someday when I'm grown up, I am going to [get] revenge."

Then, a fortuitous, desperately-needed opportunity of personal growth and redemption for both the Captain and 10-year-old Koko Kondo:

"A decade later, her father was invited onto an American talk show, This Is Your Life, to talk about the day the bomb dropped. He brought his Kondo with him. "I saw the whole city on fire and many people running away from the city in silence, their skin peeling off, hanging from face, from arms. But strength to stay in silence. It looked like a procession of ghosts," Tanimoto, her father, told the show."

Then, positive change, personal redemption, some semblance of peace for both the ten-year-old survivor who was an infant at the time of the blast and the co-pilot of the Enola Gay:

"Kondo, then just ten years old, was on the stage when they brought on Captain Robert Lewis. Lewis was a co-pilot on the Enola Gay, the plane that dropped the bomb over Hiroshima. He told the story of the day he dropped the bomb and said he entered into his log, "My God, what have we done." "I was so shocked because I wanted to meet those people who own the airplane so I can [get] revenge," Kondo told NPR. "So I was staring at his eyes [thinking], 'you're the bad one, I'm the good one.'" But then she saw Lewis crying and thought, "He's the same human being as me. If I hate, I should not hate this guy. I should hate the war itself, which we human beings caused." She came up close to him and held his hand. "I just wanted to touch his hand because I thought, that's my way of showing I'm sorry I hated you, but it's not you who I should hate. And he felt [my] hand touch his hand. He held my hand very tight," she said. That meeting changed the course of Kondo's life. She decided she wanted to fight for peace and the end of nuclear weapons. Lewis died in 1983, but Kondo says every year when she goes to a park that honors the dead of Hiroshima she always remembers the man who dropped the bomb on her city. And she vows to herself: "Captain Lewis, please rest in peace. We shall never repeat our mistake."

NPR reports:

"75 years ago this weekend, the U.S. killed tens of thousands when it dropped an atomic bomb on Nagasaki, Japan. It was a mission marked by arbitrary decisions, technical problems, and bad weather."

Quite a contrast to the bombing of Hiroshima.

"SCOTT SIMON, HOST: Tomorrow is the 75th anniversary of the bombing of Nagasaki. It was the second time nuclear weapons were used in war and also the last. NPR's Geoff Brumfiel has the story of the bombing and why decisions made afterwards are still a problem today."

Interesting insight.

"GEOFF BRUMFIEL, BYLINE: Less than 72 hours after an atomic bomb flattened Hiroshima, another plane took off from a tiny Pacific island. Its mission was to drop America's second nuclear weapon.

"ALEX WELLERSTEIN: Its initial target was the city of Kokura, which was an arsenal, had a large, built-up military arsenal surrounded by worker's housing.

"BRUMFIEL: Alex Wellerstein is a historian at the Stevens Institute of Technology. Almost as soon as the bomber left the ground, it ran into trouble. Stormy skies separated it from one of its escort aircraft."

Must be remembered the technology back then was crude, rudimentary.

"WELLERSTEIN: They also had problems with the plane. So it turned out that there were some problems with the fuel valves on this airplane, and it meant that they had a lot less fuel than they were intended to. So they were really on borrowed time."

Not clear why the mission wasn't canceled.  Postponed to another day.  Especially, in light of the following:

"BRUMFIEL: The bomber made its way to Kokura and found the city was completely obscured by clouds. They couldn't make the drop.

"WELLERSTEIN: So they fly to Nagasaki, which was the secondary target. I mean, it's not that far away. When they get to Nagasaki, there's still clouds at Nagasaki."

Then, a far more serious problem:

"BRUMFIEL: Fuel was now so low they couldn't get home with the bomb. They had to drop it either here or in the ocean. Wellerstein says the bombardier, Captain Kermit Beahan, had a decision to make, and it happened to be his birthday.

"WELLERSTEIN: What are you going to be on your birthday - the guy who somehow figures out how to use the atomic bomb or the guy who had to drop it in the ocean?

TSUYOSHI HASEGAWA: There is a debate between the pilot and the bombardier. And they decided to drop the bomb on Nagasaki."

Jesus Christ.  Get this:

"BRUMFIEL: Tsuyoshi Hasegawa is a professor emeritus at the University of California, Santa Barbara. The crew later claimed there was a gap in the clouds, but Hasegawa and others think that they probably dropped it blind. The bomb fell on a valley filled with schools, houses, churches. It killed 40 to 70,000 people - including Korean forced laborers and scores of Chinese and allied prisoners of war.

"HASEGAWA: The atomic bomb was international. The victims were international."

Indeed, they were.  Carefully, consider implications of the following:

"BRUMFIEL: The plane - now nearly out of gas - limped to an airfield at Okinawa and made an emergency landing. When President Harry Truman learned that a second Japanese city had been bombed, he was shocked.

"WELLERSTEIN: I'm not sure Truman actually understood that there were going to be two bombs ready to go at almost exactly the same time.

"BRUMFIEL: And when he'd authorized the bombing of Hiroshima, he'd also given the military the green light to use more weapons as they became available. The day after Nagasaki...

"WELLERSTEIN: He explicitly tells the military they cannot drop any more atomic bombs without his express permission. He withdraws that blank check that he had originally authorized."

Here's the problem:

"BRUMFIEL: From then until today, U.S. policy is that nuclear weapons can only be used if there is an explicit order from the president. Elaine Scarry of Harvard University says that's not really the answer. Nuclear weapons are so powerful that no individual - whether it's a bombardier on his birthday or the president of the United States - should make the decision to use them.

"ELAINE SCARRY: The idea that one person can, you know, initiate a launch that would kill, you know, tens of millions of people is just the opposite of anything that could be meant by governance.

"BRUMFIEL: There are alternatives involving Congress, for example, and requiring a declaration of war. But right now, the weapons are ready to launch at the order of President Donald Trump."

Before Trump, this was not a pressing problem.  Truman and his successors were sane.  Trump isn't.  Despite all the above, must not be forgotten the second atomic bombing within three days led to the surrender of Japan.  Far more would have died had the United States had to invade Japan.

No longer.

Why is it the criminal jackbooted bastards in blue never seem to smarten up?  The Washington Post reports:

"A D.C. police officer who has worked for the department for more than three decades has been charged with violating the civil rights of two people in separate July 2018 incidents involving illegal chokeholds, according to court filings. Officer Mark L. Clark was named in a five-count indictment returned by a federal grand jury on Tuesday and made public on Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Washington. Both incidents occurred in the same week and “resulted in bodily injury,” according to the indictment. Clark’s attorney Barrett R. Schultz said Thursday the officer had no comment at this time. A spokesperson for the office of acting U.S. attorney Michael R. Sherwin declined to comment. Clark joined the police force on July 17, 1989, according to District records. He was last assigned to the 1st District in central D.C. but has been suspended from duty on noncontact status, police spokesman Dustin Sternbeck said. Clark on July 13, 2018, “assaulted D.T. and used a prohibited trachea hold without legal justification,” using his arm and hand against the victim’s windpipe and throat, the indictment said. Five days later, on July 18, 2018, Clark “assaulted K.C. and used a prohibited trachea hold and a prohibited carotid artery hold without legal justification,” court filings said. He used his arm and hand against the victim’s windpipe and throat, as well as carotid artery and jugular vein, the indictment said. The indictment didn’t offer further identifying information for those involved. The indictment states that Clark deprived both victims of their constitutional rights under the Fourth Amendment to be free from unreasonable seizure, including excessive use of force."

Why did it take two years to bring this son of a bitch to justice?

"The D.C. Council barred trachea holds by officers and restricted the use of carotid artery holds in 1986. D.C. police policy has prohibited the use of all neck restraints since 2017. According to an annual report, the Office of Police Complaints has reported two or three chokehold complaints per year since 2016 — about 10 out of roughly 600 complaints over four years. Clark was charged under law that existed before the D.C. Council passed an emergency police reform bill last month that makes all chokeholds illegal and punishable by a maximum 10-year prison sentence, said a spokesman for council member Charles Allen (D-Ward 6), chairman of the public safety committee. Greggory Pemberton, chairman of the union representing D.C. officers, declined to comment."

What the f--k could he say?

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.  Forfeiture of liberty.  At the hands of outrageously corrupt and abusive government.

Gutless judge.  All talk.  No action.  The Washington Post reports:

"The federal judge made clear in his blistering opinion that he thought Clarence Jamison was doing nothing more than driving a Mercedes as a Black man when he was stopped by a White Mississippi police officer. The officer detained Jamison for nearly two hours, tore his car apart looking for drugs and left him on the side of the road when nothing was found."

Goddamned nazi justice in Nazi America.

"U.S. District Court Judge Carlton W. Reeves placed the 2013 case alongside others that have sparked outrage, citing the deaths at the hands of police of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery. He lamented that thousands had lost their lives to police use-of-force and countless others had been subject to misconduct by officers."

All talk.  No action.  Empty rhetoric.  Goddamned gutless:

"Even so, Reeves dismissed Jamison’s civil suit arguing that Richland police officer Nick McClendon had violated his rights. In an opinion released Monday, Reeves wrote that the case was a miscarriage of justice, but that his hands were tied by a once-obscure legal doctrine that is coming under increasing fire as the nation reckons with how to hold police responsible for misdeeds: qualified immunity."

A goddamned bullshit excuse for the egregiously inexcusable.  You know the law is wrong, outrageously unconstitutional, yet you fail to stand up and do the right thing?  That's gutless, 'Judge.'  You could have resigned in protest.  Could have allowed the case to proceed no matter the personal cost.  Pieces of gutless shit like you enable this outrageous bullshit.

"Qualified immunity shields government officials from personal civil liability for carrying out their duties, unless the official violates a statutory or constitutional right clearly established by a previous case. The idea is to allow government officials wide latitude to do their jobs without being hamstrung by frequent and costly litigation."

Since no two cases are exactly alike, this means most suits against corrupt, abusive, criminal officers get conveniently thrown out.  Nazi justice in a goddamned de facto fascist police-state.  Adolf and Benito?  Likely, wildly cheering on their fiery perches.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Madam County Attorney?  'Sonny Boy?'

"But Reeves in his ruling and other critics claim that judges have effectively walled police officers off from accountability. He urged the Supreme Court to take up cases challenging qualified immunity. Some state legislatures are examining bills to weaken qualified immunity as well in the wake of George Floyd’s killing, and activists have targeted it as a major goal for police overhaul."

All the more reason, 'Judge,' you should have courageously let the case proceed.

“Under that law, the officer who transformed a short traffic stop into an almost two-hour, life-altering ordeal is entitled to qualified immunity,” wrote Reeves, who presides in the Southern District of Mississippi. “But let us not be fooled by legal jargon. Immunity is not exoneration. And the harm in this case to one man sheds light on the harm done to the nation by this manufactured doctrine.”

Empty rhetoric.  All talk.  No action.

"Reeves, who was nominated to the bench in 2010 by President Barack Obama, has not shied away from sharp opinions. He generated headlines last year when he likened President Trump’s attacks on the judiciary to those in previous decades by the Ku Klux Klan."

Gutlessly, failed to do what was required in this latest decision.

"Jamison was driving home to South Carolina from a vacation in Arizona when he was stopped by McClendon on July 29, 2013, according to the opinion. McClendon testified that he pulled Jamison over in Palehatchie, Miss., because Jamison’s temporary tag was folded over so he couldn’t make out his license plate number. McClendon testified that he ran Jamison’s driver’s license and plates before asking the driver if he could search his car for drugs or other contraband. McClendon said Jamison quickly agreed, but Jamison testified that McClendon asked him five times to search his car and told him falsely that he had received a call that there were 10 kilos of cocaine in the vehicle. Feeling tired of the conversation, Jamison agreed to the search as long as he could watch what was going on, he testified during proceedings in the lawsuit. McClendon testified that he found nothing during an extensive search, before using a dog to sniff the vehicle. After 1 hour 50 minutes, McClendon finally departed."

Jackbooted criminal motherf--ker in blue:

"Jamison testified that he got an estimate that the search caused $4,000 worth of damage to the car — his convertible top had to be replaced and his seats restitched. Jamison eventually sued McClendon and others, claiming that his constitutional rights were violated because the search was illegal and he was racially profiled. But one by one, judges ruled that Jamison’s claims against McClendon had to be dismissed because of qualified immunity. Reeves’s ruling issued Monday was the final one, despite his misgivings. Over 72 pages, he traced the origins of qualified immunity in Reconstruction and how it has evolved to the current day. He cited a litany of cases where he thought the doctrine had thwarted justice. “Just as the Supreme Court swept away the doctrine of ‘separate but equal,’ so too should it eliminate the doctrine of qualified immunity,” Reeves wrote."

You could have forced the issue, 'Judge.'  Not thrown out the suit.  Gutlessly, failed to do so.  Clearly, you and others who think like you are the problem.  Certainly, not the solution.  All you did, in effect, was rubber stamp raw nazism.

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.  Forfeiture of liberty.  At the hands of outrageously corrupt and abusive government.

Another criminal jackbooted bastard.  This time a state trooper.  The Washington Post reports:

"As part of Maryland State Trooper John Sollon’s assignment to a specialized drunk-driving enforcement team, he had to go to court to testify against the drivers he had arrested. Six times in the past two years, the drivers Sollon arrested did not show up for their trials. Warrants were issued, and several times officers went to serve the reluctant defendants. Each time the officers found something unusual: The defendants didn’t exist."

LOL.

"On at least six occasions, authorities said, Sollon fabricated entire cases for fictitious defendants, including case reports and the allegation each had refused to take a breath test. On Wednesday, Sollon pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of perjury and misconduct in office in Baltimore County Circuit Court. He was fined $6,000, placed on three years of supervised probation and ordered to perform 300 hours of community service."

Why isn't he doing prison time?  Worse?  Get this:

"Sollon, 36, remains a corporal in the Maryland State Police with pay. Although he was suspended with pay in January, an administrative investigation was not begun until after the conclusion of his criminal case, department spokesman Greg Shipley said. Sollon has been a state trooper since 2010. Sollon has been a member since 2014 of the State Police Impaired Driving Effort team, which has been honored for its DUI enforcement work. But Shipley said there are no numerical requirements for how many drunk-driving cases the team members must file each month or year. “We make no stipulations that could be implied as a quota,” Shipley said. “Their primary focus is to impact impaired driving. That’s what they’re expected to do. There is no quota.”

Believe it?  Sound credible?

"Shipley declined to speculate on a motive for Sollon filing at least six false cases. Sollon did not return a phone message seeking comment Wednesday, and his lawyer declined to comment. It wasn’t necessarily the attempts to arrest nonexistent defendants that led to Sollon’s downfall, Shipley said. He said the investigation “was initiated as a result of concerns expressed by other troopers,” although he declined to be more specific."

Why not?  The public is entitled to this information.  Certainly, footing the bill for it.

"The state police handled the criminal investigation and then turned it over to the Maryland Attorney General’s Office. Investigators found on six occasions between January 2018 and December 2019, Sollon filed false traffic citations, along with assorted other false paperwork. Prosecutors said he filed a report that a driver had been stopped for suspicion of drunken driving, that the driver had been advised of their Miranda rights, and that the driver had refused a breath test, thus negating the need for a falsified breathalyzer report. Drivers may be arrested for impaired or intoxicated driving based purely on an officer’s observations and other evidence, without the science of a blood-alcohol test, particularly when the driver refuses such a test. “None of the fictitious defendants appeared for their scheduled court dates because they did not exist,” the office of Attorney General Brian E. Frosh (D) wrote in a statement announcing the case. Arrest warrants were issued in four of the six cases, the attorney general said. “In three of those four cases,” the statement said, “other police officers traveled to the addresses Sollon listed for the fictitious defendants in futile efforts to serve warrants.” Shipley did not know if the state police or other police departments were involved in the searches for the nonexistent defendants. Court records show Sollon was charged in Baltimore County on July 23 in an information, meaning he did not need to be arrested or booked into custody. He appeared Wednesday morning before Baltimore County Circuit Court Judge Vicki Ballou-Watts both to enter a plea and be sentenced. Although perjury is a misdemeanor, under Maryland law it has a maximum sentence of 10 years. Misconduct in office is a common law offense, not defined in Maryland statutes, meaning the punishment range is entirely up to the judge. Ballou-Watts sentenced Sollon to six years in prison on both counts, and then suspended all of the time. She also imposed the fine, probation and community service. “The citizens of Maryland have an expectation that law enforcement officers are conducting their jobs honestly and with the utmost integrity,” Frosh said in a statement. “When officers do not tell the truth, it is a betrayal of the public trust.”

Why isn't the son of a bitch in prison?  Why wasn't he fired?  None of this adds up.  None of it.

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.  Forfeiture of liberty.  At the hands of outrageously corrupt and abusive government.

No longer.

Another highly questionable case, particularly how it's being handled.  NBC News reports:

"New York Attorney General Letitia James announced Thursday that she has filed a lawsuit against the National Rifle Association and four individuals, including longstanding leader Wayne LaPierre, seeking to dissolve the gun rights advocacy group for "years of illegal self-dealings" that funded a "lavish lifestyle" for its top executives."

Why weren't these individuals simply criminally indicted for these alleged crimes?  Criminally, prosecuted?  What is your agenda, Madam Attorney General?  Ridding New York of this group for political reasons?  That is, your opposition to gun rights, i.e., The Second Amendment?  That is, the last best defense against outrageously corrupt, abusive, criminal government.  Even if you're successful in dissolving the NRA, they can always move their charter to another state.  Again, and ferociously pointedly, if you don't have an anti-gun agenda, why not simply have criminally prosecuted the four top executives?

"James said the organization engaged in illegal conduct by diverting "millions of dollars away from the charitable mission of the organization for personal use by senior leadership, awarding contracts to the financial gain of close associates and family, and appearing to dole out lucrative no-show contracts to former employees in order to buy their silence and continued loyalty." "The NRA is fraught with fraud and abuse, which is why, today, we seek to dissolve the NRA, because no organization is above the law," she said."

You clearly have an agenda that is far more than criminal prosecution of alleged wrong-doing.

"Also named in the complaint are Wilson "Woody" Phillips, a former treasurer and chief financial officer; Joshua Powell, a former chief of staff and the executive director of general operations; and John Frazer, the corporate secretary and general counsel. They are accused of failing to manage the NRA's funds and abide by state and federal laws, contributing to the loss of more than $64 million in three years, James said. She added that the executives had used the corporation as a "personal piggy bank," and that the suit, which was filed in state court in Manhattan following an 18-month investigation, would be forwarded to the IRS for potential violations of tax law. "Given the breadth and depth of the corruption, the illegality and the brazen attempts to evade the law," James said, it was necessary for the NRA to be disbanded to protect members."

That's bullshit.  Where have you been all this time?  These allegations have been around for years.  Why didn't you, and/or others in authority act heretofore?

Clearly, this is fulfillment of a partisan political promise made earlier by James:

"James confirmed in April 2019 that an investigation of the NRA was underway, part of a campaign promise to dig into the group's not-for-profit status if elected. James had issued subpoenas as part of the investigation, reportedly looking into its campaign finances, payments made to board members and tax compliance. That same month, Oliver North, the retired U.S. Marine lieutenant colonel who became NRA president in 2018, stepped down from the role after alleging other leadership had engaged in financial improprieties. His departure revealed a fractured organization and internal power struggle in which North and his supporters had reportedly tried to oust LaPierre, the NRA CEO and Executive Vice President who has led the organization of more than 5 million members since 1991. LaPierre later accused North of trying to extort him. But the longtime public face of the NRA has also come under scrutiny from major donors worried about the group's revenue and mounting legal troubles."

Go after them criminally.  Why try to dissolve the group?  The rank and file were not engaged in criminal activity, were they?

"While the NRA is headquartered in Fairfax County, Virginia, the New York attorney general has investigatory authority over its status as a not-for-profit organization as it is chartered in New York. The group remains the most powerful gun lobby in the United States, although amid the coronavirus pandemic, it has laid off or furloughed dozens of employees and cut salaries. In July, it endorsed Trump's re-election for the White House, saying he had "done more than any president to protect the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms."

That last statement is not credible.  In full disclosure, this writer is not, and has not been, a member of this group.  Sadly, it is dominated by the nazi element and its fascist agenda in our formerly great country.  I do, however, staunchly support the Second Amendment as the last, best defense against corrupt and abusive government.

The Washington Post reports:

"The chief executive of the National Rifle Association and several top lieutenants engaged in a decades-long pattern of fraud to raid the coffers of the powerful gun rights group for personal gain, according to a lawsuit filed Thursday by the New York attorney general, draining $64 million from the nonprofit in just three years. In her lawsuit, Attorney General Letitia James called for the dissolution of the NRA and the removal of CEO Wayne LaPierre from the leadership post he has held for the past 29 years, saying he and others used the group’s funds to finance a luxury lifestyle. She also asked a New York court to force LaPierre and three key deputies to repay NRA members for the ill-gotten money and inflated salaries that her investigation found they took. James accused the NRA leaders of flouting state and federal laws and signing off on reports and statements they knew were fraudulent, while diverting millions of dollars away from the NRA’s charitable mission to benefit themselves and their allies. The attorney general requested that the court bar the four men — LaPierre, general counsel John Frazer, former treasurer Woody Phillips and former chief of staff Joshua Powell — from ever serving in a leadership position for a New York charity in the future. “The NRA’s influence has been so powerful that the organization went unchecked for decades while top executives funneled millions into their own pockets,” James, a Democrat, said in a statement. Her investigation, which began in February 2019, found a “a culture of self-dealing, mismanagement, and negligent oversight at the NRA that was illegal, oppressive, and fraudulent,” according to a statement by the attorney general’s office.

"NRA officials lashed back in response, accusing James in a countersuit of a premeditated plan to take down the organization.

"The New York lawsuit against the NRA paints a picture of widespread wrongdoing at the influential gun rights group, and a freewheeling atmosphere in which top officials repeatedly took advantage of their positions for their personal benefit. In one new revelation, the attorney general said her investigation uncovered that LaPierre recently arranged a post-employment contract for himself with the NRA worth $17 million. He never sought board approval for the deal, the suit claims. The lawsuit also claims LaPierre failed to report large sums of personal income to the IRS. James’s office said it found that the NRA chief funneled personal expenses through an outside public relations firm, allowing him to avoid reporting hundreds of thousands of dollars of personal income. James said Thursday that she was referring those findings to the IRS. She also said that if her office uncovers criminal activity, it will be referred to the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office."

Isn't that precisely what you're accusing these four individuals of engaging in in your suit, Madam Attorney General?

"In response, the NRA said Thursday that it was filing its own federal lawsuit against James, alleging that the attorney general has violated the group’s free speech rights and has been unfairly targeting the gun rights lobby since she began campaigning for the office. “This was a baseless, premeditated attack on our organization and the Second Amendment freedoms it fights to defend,” NRA President Carolyn Meadows said in a statement. “You could have set your watch by it: the investigation was going to reach its crescendo as we move into the 2020 election cycle.” NRA officials said they believe James’s action was designed to disrupt the group’s momentum at a critical time in the 2020 election campaign. The NRA political action arm is planning to spend tens of millions of dollars this fall to mobilize its members to defeat Democratic candidates who seek gun restrictions, including putative Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, according to a person familiar with fundraising, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe internal strategy. “It’s a transparent attempt to score political points and attack the leading voice in opposition to the leftist agenda,” Meadows said. “This has been a power grab by a political opportunist — a desperate move that is part of a rank political vendetta. Our members won’t be intimidated or bullied in their defense of political and constitutional freedom.”

Report goes on and on.  If there's criminal activity, prosecute.  Dissolution of the NRA?  That's not going to happen.  They'll charter in another state.  ... Ferociously pointedly, do Democrats delusionally believe such tactics will secure elections for Democratic candidates?  Or, turn off voters.

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.  Forfeiture of liberty.  At the hands of outrageously corrupt and abusive government.

No longer.

Insurrection continues in Portland.  The Associated Press reports:

"Portland’s nightly protests turned violent again even after the city’s mayor pleaded for demonstrators to stay off the streets and a police officer hit by a rock early Friday suffered what was described as a serious injury."

The insanity and violence continue because there has been absolutely no change in law enforcement and its tactics.  None.  Resistance to change has never been higher within police ranks.  This has been a problem for at least the last six decades, -- if not longer.  It's now coming to a head.

"The protesters who came out Thursday night clashed with officers near a police precinct station and also used metal bars to disable police vehicles, police said in a statement. The nightly clashes this week have ratcheted up tensions in the city after an agreement was reached last week between state and federal officials for federal agents to pull back from their defense of a federal courthouse that was previously the focus of the protesters’ rage."

Readers are reminded the jackbooted tactics of Trump's goons severely exacerbated a long-standing battle between highly-abusive local law enforcement and the citizens of Portland.

"The strategy initially appeared to calm down the protesters, but violent demonstrations re-emerged on the streets this week, miles away from the courthouse - marking a new phase in the nightly protests for Portland that have happened since May 25, following the police killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis."

Unless and until police are subject to the same legal standards as the rest of us, there will be no change.  This fuels protest.  Exacerbates an untenable status quo.  How many out of control jackbooted bastards in blue have been arrested for excessive use of force?  How many?  Not one? Wake up.

"Tear gas was used by Portland police on protesters Wednesday for the first time since the U.S. agents left the city. On Thursday, Mayor Ted Wheeler warned the protesters clashing with police that “you are not demonstrating, you are attempting to commit murder.”

When the criminal jackbooted bastards in blue use batons against innocent, unarmed, peaceful protesters exercising a constitutional right, what exactly would you call that behavior, Mr. Mayor?

"During the mayhem, protesters hurled bottles and rocks at officers and demonstrators laid ties made of rebar on the street that caused damage to police vehicles after they ran over them, the police statement said. Several people were arrested, including one person who had a loaded handgun, the statement said."

Again, how many of the jackbooted bastards in blue were arrested for use of excessive force?  Not one?

Apparently, sadly, this struggle is turning into open insurrection:

"But the Pacific Northwest Youth Liberation Front, which advertised the Wednesday rally on social media, used Twitter to announce “Round 2” of the same demonstration on Thursday night with the slogan “No cops. No prisons. Total abolition.” The group, which described itself as a “decentralized network of autonomous youth collectives dedicated to direct action towards total liberation,” did not immediately reply to a request for comment. The clashes between thousands of protesters and U.S. agents sent by the Trump administration to guard the Mark O. Hatfield Federal Courthouse stopped after an agreement between Democratic Gov. Kate Brown and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security that called for the agents to begin drawing down their presence in Portland’s downtown on July 30."

Again, the problem extends much deeper and wider than the Trump nazi and his unfettered goons:

"But after a brief weekend reprieve, protest activity has continued nightly in other parts of the city, with Portland police, local sheriff’s deputies and, in some cases, Oregon State Police troopers on the frontlines as demonstrators demand an end to police funding. Thursday night’s protest was in a residential neighborhood 6 miles (over 9 kilometers) away from the federal courthouse. Protesters gathered in the same area Wednesday night and shined lasers in officers’ eyes, disabled exterior security cameras, broke windows and used boards pulled from the building to barricade the doors and start a fire, authorities said. There were 20 sworn officers inside, as well as civilian employees, said Capt. Tony Passadore, who was the incident commander."

This behavior by protesters is inexcusable.  Continues for one reason and one reason only.  Been no substantive change in criminal jackbooted bastard behavior.  None.  Until that happens, expect the violence on both sides to continue and escalate.  ... Hear the rumble?  An unwanted, dreaded second American revolution catastrophically looms.

No end to the bullshit.  United Press International reports:

"Former Dallas police officer Amber Guyger filed for an appeal this week of her murder conviction for shooting neighbor Botham Jean last year. Her lawyers argued in court documents that she should be acquitted of the murder because she believed she was in her apartment at the time of the fatal shooting and acted in self-defense. They requested a lesser charge of negligent homicide and a new hearing for her punishment."

Jesus Christ.  She murdered an innocent, unarmed man in his own apartment:

"Guyger, a White off-duty officer still in uniform at the time, fatally shot the unarmed 26-year-old Black accountant, who had been watching TV and eating ice cream at his apartment on Sept. 6, 2018. She said she thought she was entering her own apartment one floor below and mistook Jean for a burglar. Her mistaken belief "negated culpability of murder because although she intentionally and knowingly caused Jean's death, she had the right to act in deadly force of self-defense," court documents said."

Jesus Christ.  What f--ked up 'logic.'

"Guyger was convicted of murder in October and sentenced to 10 years in prison."

She got off easy.  Ten years.  In Nazi Texas, kill an officer even in self-defense, guess what?  Get executed.  No equal justice.  None.  These criminal jackbooted bastards in blue receive special treatment.  ... Hear the rumble?

"Prosecutors said at the trial that Guyger should have done more to help Jean after shooting him, but she was more concerned about losing her job. The case was one of several cases over the past decade of police use of force against unarmed Black men and women that got garnered attention by activists speaking out against racial bias in law enforcement. The police killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis on May 25 ignited global outcry and ongoing Black Lives Matter protests."

Nazi America.

Sick shit.  In follow up to an earlier edition of this publication, The Associated Press reports:

"A Los Angeles police officer accused of fondling a dead woman was sued Tuesday by her family, court documents show. The lawsuit accuses Officer David Rojas of fondling Elizabeth Baggett’s breasts and “feeling her nipples, without limitation,” as well as showing the body camera video of it to others. The lawsuit alleges invasion of privacy, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence, mishandling of human remains and other offenses. Baggett’s family filed the lawsuit against the city, Rojas and defendants Does 1-20 in Los Angeles Super Court, seeking unspecified damages in a jury trial. Rojas, who has been on the force for four years, remains employed by the Los Angeles Police Department. But he has been suspended, LAPD spokesman Officer Mike Chan said. The department did not have a comment on the lawsuit, which does not name the agency as a defendant. Rojas allegedly touched Baggett’s breast while he was alone in the room with the corpse on Oct. 20. He and his partner had responded to the home where she died. Rojas had allegedly disabled his LAPD body camera, but the act was caught on video when he turned it back on because the devices have two-minute buffering periods to capture what happens right before they are activated, according to a person briefed on the incident who previously spoke to The Associated Press. The person wasn’t authorized to publicly discuss the case and previously spoke to AP on condition of anonymity. Rojas was charged in January with having sexual contact with human remains without authority. He has pleaded not guilty and faces up to three years in state prison if convicted. He is out on bond and scheduled to return to court Sept. 15, online records show. The Los Angeles Police Protective League, the union that represents rank-and-file officers, has declined to pay for Rojas’ legal bills. The officer’s attorney could not immediately be reached for comment Tuesday."

In follow up to an earlier edition of this publication, NPR reports:

"The parents of Elijah McClain, a Black man who died last year after police twice put him in a chokehold and paramedics sedated him, have filed a federal civil rights lawsuit. The lawsuit names as defendants the city of Aurora, Colo., as well as numerous Aurora police officers, a paramedic and the medical director of Aurora Fire Rescue. McClain was not suspected of committing any crimes when police approached him, as Colorado Public Radio's Allison Sherry reported:

"McClain, a professional massage therapist, is described as a gentle soul, an animal lover and a self-taught violinist in the 106-page civil rights complaint.

"McClain was walking back from a convenience store, where he had purchased iced tea, on Aug. 24, 2019, when officers attempted to take him into custody, pinning him down for 18 minutes — 15 of those minutes he was handcuffed, according to the complaint.

"They were responding to a 911 call of a man walking down the street looking 'sketchy.' "

" 'My name is Elijah McClain. That's all. That's what I was doing. I was just going home. I'm an introvert and I'm different,' a sobbing McClain said to police as they pinned him to the ground, according to the complaint. 'I'm just different. I'm just different, that's all. That's all I was doing. I'm so sorry. I have no gun. I don't do that stuff. I don't do any fighting. Why were you attacking me? I don't do guns. I don't even kill flies. I don't eat meat. ... I am a vegetarian.' "

"McClain suffered cardiac arrest and died six days later."

Died for nothing at the hands of the criminal jackbooted bastards in blue.

"His words — "Why are you attacking me? Why are you attacking me? I don't even kill flies. I don't even kill flies. I don't eat meat. I don't eat meat." -- have become the chants of protests this summer as those demanding justice for McClain have compared his death to that of George Floyd's in Minneapolis. The complaint alleges that there was no reason for McClain to be sedated with ketamine, and that the dose he was administered was too large for his body weight. Three separate investigations into McClain's death are now underway: by the federal government, state attorney general's office and the city of Aurora."

Insult to injury and as reported earlier in this publication and elsewhere:

"In June, three Aurora police officers were fired due to an incident involving photos in which officers posed near a memorial for McClain, imitating the chokehold that was used on him. Three of the officers involved in that incident are among those named in the lawsuit. McClain's family lawyer, Mari Newman, said in a statement Tuesday that the lawsuit is intended "to demand justice for Elijah McClain, to hold accountable the Aurora officials, police officers, and paramedics responsible for his murder, and to force the City of Aurora to change it longstanding pattern of brutal and racist policing."

Stick it to the clueless motherf--kers just as hard as you can.

No justice.

Too busy lining County coffers with bogus tickets?

Police chief resigns.  NPR reports:

"Seattle Police Chief Carmen Best is resigning, abruptly announcing her departure late Monday just hours after the city council voted to strip the police department of some resources, including cutting around 100 jobs. Best, the city's first Black police chief, will depart after a tumultuous few months in Seattle, where intense protests against racial injustice and heavy-handed police practices drew national attention after the killing of George Floyd by Minneapolis police on Memorial Day. "This was a difficult decision for me, but when it's time, it's time," Best said in a letter to the Seattle Police Department, according to member station KUOW in Seattle. Best has served in the department for nearly 30 years. She will retire effective Sept. 2.

"Best has been dogged by mounting criticism over what protesters and observers viewed as her department's overly aggressive tactics to control crowds, including the police use of tear gas and flash-bang grenades during early demonstrations that had been mostly peaceful. Since June, Best has also faced a backlash over her approach to demonstrators taking over the area around the department's East Precinct building — and to the violence that unfolded in what became known as the Capitol Hill Organized Protest, or CHOP Zone (it has also been referred to as the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone or CHAZ)."

Protest is turning to insurrection in Chicago.  The Associated Press reports:

"Hundreds of people descended on downtown Chicago early Monday following a police shooting on the city’s South Side, with vandals smashing the windows of dozens of businesses and making off with merchandise, cash machines and anything else they could carry, police said."

Outrageous criminal mob activity.  No excuse for it.  There is a reason, however, why this is happening.  Been no change in out of control, highly abusive, criminal behavior by law enforcement throughout our formerly great country.  None.  A problem at least the last six decades.

"Police Superintendent David Brown told reporters that the Sunday afternoon shooting of the man who had opened fire on officers apparently prompted a social media post that urged people to form a car caravan and converge on the business and shopping district. Some 400 additional officers were dispatched to the area after the department spotted the post. Over several hours, police made more than 100 arrests and 13 officers were injured, including one who was struck in the head with a bottle, Brown said. Brown dismissed any suggestion that the chaos was part of an organized protest of the shooting, calling it “pure criminality” that included occupants of a vehicle opening fire on police who were arresting a man they spotted carrying a cash register. No officers were wounded by gunfire, but a security guard and a civilian were hospitalized in critical condition after being shot, and five guns were recovered, he said. Mayor Lori Lightfoot agreed that the melee had nothing to do with a protest. “This was straight-up felony criminal conduct,” she said. “This was an assault on our city.”

Wake up.  Yes, it is criminal activity.  No question.  Far worse than that, it's insurrection.  Happening in direct response to failed government.  All levels.  All branches.  Unless there is desperately needed change, will spread throughout our formerly great country.

"The mayhem brightened the national spotlight that has been on Chicago for weeks after a surge in gun violence that resulted in more homicides in July than any month in decades. President Donald Trump, who has repeatedly criticized the city’s handling of the violence, recently ordered more federal agents to Chicago to take part in what Attorney General William Barr called “classic crime fighting.”

It's far worse than that, you clueless piece of crap.  Called insurrection.

Facebook is failing to quickly remove video making false claims that ratchet up violence:

"Further ratcheting up the tensions in the city was a video circulating on Facebook that falsely claimed that Chicago police had shot and killed a 15-year-old boy. Posted at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, the video shows upset residents confronting officers near the scene where police shot and wounded an adult suspect they said had fired at them that day. By Monday morning, the footage had been watched nearly 100,000 times. Witnesses to the unrest described a scene that bore a striking resemblance to the unrest that unfolded when protests over the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis devolved into chaos. Brown suggested that the lenient treatment of people arrested then played a role in what happened Monday. “Not many of those cases were prosecuted to the full extent,” he said. “These looters, these thieves, these criminals being emboldened by (the lack of) consequences ... emboldened to do more.”

Wake up, Mr. Brown.  It's far worse than that.  It's insurrection that could lead to revolution.  The public has had enough of corrupt, abusive, clueless law enforcement.  Jackbooted police are contributing to this growing problem.

"At the same news conference, Lightfoot addressed looters directly, telling them that police had collected a lot of surveillance video and other evidence that will be used to arrest and prosecute as many as possible. “We saw you, and we will come after you,” she warned. Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx disputed any suggestion that her office had shied away from prosecuting people who were arrested for ransacking businesses weeks ago. She said none of those cases had been dropped. “That is simply not true,” she said. “Those cases are coming to court now.” Videos of the vandalism showed huge crowds of people smashing their way into businesses and streaming out of the broken windows and doors with clothes and other merchandise. They loaded up vehicles, some moving slowly and deliberately, apparently not worried about being caught by police or being recorded by scores of cellphone cameras. Vehicles drove away slowly, some leaving behind boxes of rocks that they had apparently brought to shatter the windows. Cash register drawers and clothes hangers were strewn about the streets, along with automatic teller machines that had been ripped from walls or pulled from inside businesses. Stores miles from downtown were also ransacked, their parking lots littered with glass and boxes that once contained television sets and other electronics.

"Train and bus service into downtown was temporarily suspended, and bridges over the Chicago River were lifted, preventing travel to and from the downtown area. Some highway ramps were also closed. Although those restrictions were eased later in the day, they were to be reimposed beginning Monday evening until Tuesday morning."

Sadly, just the beginning.  Time for government to finally wake up.

The Washington Post reports:

"Hundreds of young people looted stores, broke into indoor shopping malls and battled with police overnight Sunday into Monday in the city’s central downtown business district.

"During the unrest, officers shot at least one person and chased suspects toting bags full of goods, tackling some to the ground and blocking off streets as they sought to restore order to the area. The looting came after a tense day between police and Black residents after the exchange of gunfire in the city’s South Side, sparking a violent standoff between dozens of officers and angry neighbors. A crowd quickly gathered nearby, and tempers flared after police allegedly took a cellphone away from someone who had recorded the shooting. Soon, rows of police faced off with a rapidly growing group. In the looting that followed later downtown, videos show people roaming up and down the streets, bashing their way into stores including Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom Rack and a Tesla dealership. As police closed off highway ramps, bus and train service was halted downtown at the “request of public safety officials,” the city’s transit agency tweeted. Thirteen of the 400 Chicago police officers dispatched downtown were injured during the night by bottles and physical attacks. Many were shot at, Brown said, and a security guard and a bystander were injured and are in critical condition. Police recovered five guns. The looting, which spread south into the Loop and also into the North Side’s Old Town neighborhood, was a reminder of the chaos that followed the killing of George Floyd, an unarmed Black man, in the custody of Minneapolis police less than three months ago. At the time, Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D) sent 375 National Guardsmen to protect the downtown area, freeing up Chicago police to handle the looting that had spread throughout the city and surrounding suburbs. The unrest lasted for about a week after Memorial Day. Lightfoot told reporters at a second news conference Monday morning that she has not asked Pritzker for National Guard help, despite calls from Republican state lawmakers for state and federal troops to be sent in. “No, we do not need federal troops in Chicago — period, full stop,” Lightfoot said. Pritzker told reporters that the state police were dispatched last night. “Anything and everything we are asked to do, we will be helpful,” he said."

NBC News reports:

"Shattered glass and other debris from looted stores was still being cleaned up Tuesday after a wave of violence tore through the city's upscale shopping districts. To some experts, the unrest — in which more than 100 people were arrested and 13 police officers were injured — represents long-simmering frustrations finally boiling over. Others say the violence was opportunistic in nature, criminality spilling into the streets.

"David Stovall, a professor of Black studies and criminology at the University of Illinois at Chicago, said the uprising sent a clear message."

The Nazi Right hasn't a clue:

“This put everybody on notice that folks have had enough,” he said. “They are saying this is what it means to be poor, hungry and fed up, and if we're really not ready to address the foundational issue of housing, health care and employment, this is what we’re going to do."

While violence, theft, and other criminal activity displayed is not, and cannot be justified, it is due precisely to these problems and many, many others.

"The brazenness of people openly looting and attacking police officers shows that they feel that they have nothing to lose, he added. “You’re so numb, so disaffected and so disenfranchised, so what could be any worse than that?”

While none of the criminal activity is justified, none of it, until things change, expect more of the same.

“This was no doubt a long time coming.”

Decades.  Sadly.

"Jennifer Cobbina, a criminal justice professor at Michigan State University, also sees a connection between looting and long-standing marginalization. “One perspective that much of the research on civil unrest has shown, which entails looting and rioting, is that when they occur, they are expressions of pent-up anger and they are symptomatic of systemic societal problems,” she said. “When there is a deep-seated grievance that has not been adequately addressed coupled with people feeling ignored, that is when uprisings occur. For people who are marginalized and ignored, uprisings serve as a mechanism to have their grievances heard and to resist a system that oppresses.”

That's right.  No question.  Until things change, expect more of the same, -- and worse.

Here's the sad part:

"Brown said "tempers flared, fueled by misinformation" about the shooting, including false reports that the victim was a teenager. The officers involved in the shooting will be placed on administrative duties, per department protocol, and the shooting is under investigation, police said. Despite the misinformation, the uprising is still a commentary on what it means to exist in an over-policed state, Stovall added. “These folks are frustrated to the point that anything put forward by police is unbelievable because of the history that the police department has had in those particular neighborhoods.”

That's right.  A problem throughout the country.  Yet, we cannot live without police.  ... Someone has to haul in the criminal element.  The status quo becomes intolerable, however, when the criminal jackbooted bastards in blue are worse than the people they're arresting.

"While perennial frustration with law enforcement has often sparked violence within local communities, rarely does that violence move beyond its neighborhood, experts say. “This type of caravan-ing by people to outside locations is very different,” Skogan said, adding that social media largely helped mobilize the attack downtown. “It's an interesting shift that we haven't seen in Chicago in quite some time where folks said, we’re not going to hit our communities, we’re going to go someplace else,” Stovall said. The city's communities of color have long criticized the disproportionate funding and favor given to Chicago's affluent areas — many that were hit in the looting — over its struggling neighborhoods. “Over the past few months, too many people — disproportionately Black and Brown — have lost their jobs, lost their income, lost their homes, and lost their lives as the city has done nothing and the Chicago elite have profited,” Black Lives Matter Chicago said in a statement. “When protesters attack high-end retail stores that are owned by the wealthy and service the wealthy, that is not ‘our’ city and has never been meant for us.” It was the second time the affluent shopping district was hit with looting since May in the wake of nationwide protests against the police killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis."

Here's the problem.  How insurrection can turn into revolution:

"But some also worry that the incident will instigate an aggressive blowback by law enforcement that will further fuel a vicious cycle of violence and distrust between police and communities of color. Lightfoot has already taken a hard-line stance that the looting was “abject criminal behavior” and “straight-up felony criminal conduct."

Shortsighted misjudgment based on fear of far worse to come.  Time to wake up.  Prosecute the offenders, but understand until things change, this criminal behavior will continue, worsen.

"Stovall thinks it's important to address the factors fueling discontent. “We need to get away from the idea that it's just a bunch of bad people conspiring to do bad things and really understand what it means to live in those conditions in perpetuity,” Stovall said. “If you live under those conditions in perpetuity then the response isn't going to be peaceful or orderly, which is a tough thing to deal with, but we’re at a moment where we can’t ignore it.”

That's right.  ... Hear the rumble?  An unwanted, dreaded second American revolution catastrophically looms.

Asylum officers stand up to Trump nazi.  CBS News reports:

"U.S. government asylum officers on Monday publicly denounced a proposal that would require them to deny safe harbor to migrants who are deemed a public health risk, accusing the Trump administration of using the coronavirus pandemic as a pretext to advance its restrictive immigration agenda. In a public comment on the proposed rule, the national union representing the asylum officers said the policy would not only betray America's tradition as a leading refuge for the world's oppressed, but force them to conduct medical assessments they are not qualified to make. If required to implement the restriction, the asylum officers said they would be violating their oath to uphold U.S. laws and international treaties that guarantee protection to people fleeing persecution and torture. "The measures that the Proposed Rule seeks to implement serve no public health purpose, nor do they advance our country's national security. Rather, they are draconian and contrary to our country's moral fabric and longstanding tradition of providing safe haven to the persecuted," wrote Council 119, the union representing asylum officers and other U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) employees. "Simply put, the Proposed Rule serves no purpose other than to advance the Administration's political objective to shut down the U.S. asylum program—at whatever cost to human life."

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.  Forfeiture of liberty.  At the hands of outrageously corrupt and abusive government.

U.S. Attorney General has no clue.  The Washington Post reports:

"Nearly two weeks after Democrats grilled Attorney General William P. Barr over the Justice Department’s crackdowns on racial justice protests, Barr on Sunday evening lashed out at the opposition party and the Black Lives Matter movement."

Expect better of an ignorant, Aryan arrogant nazi?

"Speaking to Fox News host Mark Levin, Barr said liberals are intent on “tearing down the system” and called protesters’ tactics “fascistic.” “They are a revolutionary group that is interested in some form of socialism, communism,” Barr said of Black Lives Matter. “They’re essentially Bolsheviks.”

Jesus Christ.  Kettle calling the pot black.  LOL.  All you got, Billy boy?   Time to wake up, you clueless son of a bitch.  They're standing up to the racist nazi in the Oval Office and his henchmen, Mr. Attorney General.  Standing up to the reincarnation of Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini.  Hundreds of thousands of U.S. troops died fighting this ideology in the Second World War European Theater.  Clearly, you're talking out your ass, Billy.  ... That rattled?  The public has had enough of the neo-nazism.  You don't 'get' that?

"Barr’s comments in the hour-long interview on “Life, Liberty & Levin” represent some of his harshest critiques yet of the protest movement, which he equated with antifa and compared to guerrilla warfare, and of the Democratic politicians who have accused the attorney general of subverting the Justice Department to do President Trump’s bidding."

Precisely, what you've shamelessly done, Billy boy.  What are you and your fuhrer, the Trump nazi desperate to do?  Spark an unwanted, dreaded second American revolution catastrophically looming?  We're already witnessing insurrection in Chicago, Portland, and elsewhere.  Think it can't turn into a second American revolution?  The public has had enough of the growing nazism in our formerly great country last seven decades since the McCarthy era.

Racism from our nazi fuhrer and his equally fascist henchmen:

"Trump has also regularly expressed his disapproval of Black Lives Matter, accusing one of its members of “treason” and called the Black Lives Matter mural outside Trump Tower in New York “a symbol of hate.” Barr has also previously criticized the protests, which have been ongoing throughout the country since George Floyd’s death in Minneapolis in May, and personally ordered law enforcement to use force to clear a largely peaceful crowd outside the White House on June 1."

Why haven't Barr and Trump been held criminally accountable for the above?  Insult to injury?  The following abject bullshit from the Barr nazi:

"On Sunday, Barr accused Black Lives Matter of being an anti-government operation that has been co-opted by violent antifa members. Barr argued the group is part of a coordinated effort to push Trump out of office."

Paranoid, you clueless son of a bitch?

Barr remains as clearly insane as his fuhrer, the Trump nazi.  Get this.  It's laughable.  Pathetic coming from a supposedly educated government official:

“The left wants power because that is essentially their state of grace in their secular religion,” he said. “They want to run peoples’ lives so they can design utopia for all of us and that’s what turns them on. And it’s the lust for power and they weren’t expecting Trump’s victory and it outrages them.”

Aren't you describing the Trump nazi and his henchmen?  Including yourself, you achingly fascist son of a bitch.

While the Democrats are no better for totally different reasons, the following is haughty bullshit coming from a nazi who determinedly, concertedly hasn't a clue:

"The attorney general also accused Democrats of abandoning their traditional values. “They’re not interested in compromise, they’re not interested in dialectic exchange of views. They’re interested in total victory,” Barr said. “It’s a secular religion. It’s a substitute for a religion.”

What are you talking about, Billy boy?  Republicans currently own nearly all branches and levels of nazi government, sir.  Oblivious to that fact, Billy?  Or, too aggressively stupid to know better.

More unsubstantiated bullshit from the nazi:

"Barr went on to call antifa a “new form of guerrilla warfare,” arguing the group, which he said is “highly organized,” hides among peaceful protesters for protection. “What they do is, they are essentially shielding themselves or shrouding themselves in First Amendment activity,” Barr said. “They hijack these demonstrations and they provoke violence. And they have various tiers of people from the sort of top provocateurs down to people who are their minions and run the violent missions.”

The criminal jackbooted bastards in blue, to say nothing of your federal thugs, have beaten the shit out of unarmed peaceful protesters executing their First Amendment right to protest.  Like your fuhrer, the Trump nazi, you remain an out of control, congenital liar.

Here's the truth, you insane, fascist son of a bitch:

"Despite Barr’s claims, there have been no arrests or solid proof connecting antifa to violence at Black Lives Matter protests, The Washington Post’s Fact Checker reported in June. The far-right boogaloo movement, meanwhile, has been tied to a murder and several bomb plots aimed at escalating violence. As Trump warns of leftist violence, a dangerous threat emerges from the right-wing boogaloo movement."

To say nothing of the criminal jackbooted bastards in blue and federal goons violently doing all they can to suppress peaceful protest.

"Barr also accused the media of willfully ignoring any coverage of alleged antifa violence at protests."

That right?  Where's your proof it's antifa?  Lying out your ass, you clueless son of a bitch?  Coverage has been extensive.

More bullshit by this clueless nazi clearly rattled by continuing protest:

“Of course the media doesn’t take footage of what’s happening,” Barr said. “They don’t take footage of the rocks being thrown.”

What a goddamned liar.  Simply, not true.  Coverage has been extensive.  Worse?  Law enforcement is eliciting violence to ultimately suppress and eliminate peaceful protest.  Raw nazism.

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.  Forfeiture of liberty.  At the hands of outrageously corrupt and abusive government.

Aryan arrogance of a Trump henchman.  The Washington Post reports:

"Department of Homeland Security acting secretary Chad Wolf on Thursday defended his handling of the protests in Portland, Ore., and bristled at criticism from his predecessors, telling a Senate panel that former DHS secretaries Tom Ridge and Michael Chertoff were “dead wrong” when they raised concerns that the Trump administration’s response had gone too far."

This son of a bitch needs to be criminally investigated for his part in the Portland fiasco.

"Appearing before the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, Wolf said DHS officers and agents were deployed to Portland to protect federal buildings from destructive attacks and claimed they did not interfere with peaceful protests."

Like his fuhrer, the Trump nazi, this piece of shit remains a congenital liar.  What he claims is simply not true.

"He faulted city and state officials as cutting off cooperation with the Trump administration, including a Portland City Council resolution that directed local police to sever ties with federal authorities."

This was done for damned good reason.  Trump's goons were beating innocent, unarmed, peaceful protesters.  Abducting protesters in unmarked vehicles.  No due process.  Egregious abrogation of all civil and constitutional rights and liberties.  Failed to identify themselves and who they worked for.  Nazi storm troopers.

The following is self-serving bullshit:

“DHS law enforcement officers received almost no assistance from state and local law enforcement in Portland,” he said. “They were left to defend the courthouse besieged by attempts of arson and constant destruction. This circumstance should never have happened.”

Never would have happened had your jackbooted assholes never come into town.  Your thugs attacked and abducted peaceful protesters nowhere near the federal court house to elicit crowd violence.  Get their cookies off.  To intimidate and discourage peaceful protest.  A constitutional right.  First Amendment.  All, at direction of the Trump nazi.

"The acting secretary told the panel that DHS personnel suffered 277 injuries between July 4 and July 31. Several agents might have permanent damage to their eyes from laser pointers that protesters wielded, he said. In addition, Wolf said, 142 officers “have reported receiving minor burns, lacerations, being hit over the head with a sledgehammer, or [having] hearing issues resulting from the fireworks.”

How many innocent, unarmed, peaceful protesters were injured by your goons, you fascist son of a bitch?  How many of your jackbooted bastards were arrested for use of excessive force?  Not one?  You're a goddamned liar, Mr. Wolf.

"An agreement last week between the Trump administration and Oregon Gov. Kate Brown (D) to replace most of the federal forces with state police has shifted the protests away from the federal courthouse. But Wolf said that the city continues to see violent incidents targeting local police and that the full contingent of DHS personnel will remain on standby in the city."

That's big of you, you lying son of a bitch.  Conveniently, forget?  Local law enforcement created the problems it's now having to deal with.  Been highly abusive, jackbooted nazi, incited violence from peaceful protesters to intimidate, stifle all dissent.  Time to wake up, you clueless piece of crap.  Too deaf to hear the rumble?

"Republican members of the Senate panel were generally sympathetic in their questions to Wolf, but he was pressed by some of the Democrats, including Sen. Kamala D. Harris (D-Calif.), who asked the DHS chief about the effects of chemical irritants, which federal forces used liberally to disperse crowds. “There are mothers, including pregnant women, who attend these protests. I would advise you, sir, to consult with medical experts to determine the impact of chemical irritants on pregnant women,” Harris said, raising her voice as Wolf acknowledged he had not done so. In another exchange, Sen. Jacky Rosen (D-Nev.) asked Wolf about the administration’s plans to attempt once more to terminate the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled the administration’s first try was unlawful. Legal scholars have said the decision requires the DHS to accept new applicants for the program, but Wolf challenged that interpretation. “In no way did the Supreme Court decision tell the department to process new DACA applicants,” he said. “We’ll continue to process and renew applicants as we’ve done over the past three years,” he added. But he said the administration has “serious concerns” about the legality of the Obama-era program."

Clearly, this son of a bitch and his fuhrer, the Trump nazi believe they can ignore a court ruling they don't agree with.

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.  Forfeiture of liberty.  At the hands of outrageously corrupt and abusive government.

More pain and suffering imposed by our fuhrer, the Trump nazi and his fellow nazis in the Republican Party.  The Associated Press reports:

"An unemployed makeup artist with two toddlers and a disabled husband needs help with food and rent. A hotel manager says his unemployment has deepened his anxiety and kept him awake at night. A dental hygienist, pregnant with her third child, is struggling to afford diapers and formula. Around the country, across industries and occupations, millions of Americans thrown out of work because of the coronavirus are straining to afford the basics now that an extra $600 a week in federal unemployment benefits has expired. “My worst nightmare is coming true,” said Liz Ness, a laid-off recruiter at a New Orleans staffing agency who fears she will be evicted next month without the added help from Washington. “Summer 2020 could be next year’s horror movie.” Lawmakers on Capitol Hill are struggling to work out an agreement that would restore some federal jobless aid. Even if they do reach a deal, the amount is likely to be less than $600. And by the time the money starts flowing, it could be too late for many Americans who are already in dire straits."

This time the fault lies entirely with Senate Republicans and their fuhrer, the Trump nazi.  Democrats in the House passed the bill months ago.

“Members of Congress may have the luxury to come to an agreement this week and vote next week and then roll it out over several weeks,” said Brian Gallagher, CEO of United Way Worldwide. “Families don’t have that luxury — they are out of money tomorrow.” In the meantime, up to 30 million Americans, their jobs lost or income slashed by an outbreak that has paralyzed the economy and killed close to 160,000 people in the U.S., are trying to get by solely on state unemployment benefits, which on average are less than $400 a week. On Thursday, the government said nearly 1.2 million laid-off Americans applied for unemployment last week. That is a decline from the previous week. Still, it was the 20th straight week that at least 1 million people sought jobless aid. Before the coronavirus, the number had never surpassed 700,000 in a single week. The rescue package being worked out in Washington would contain more than $100 billion to help reopen schools, another round of $1,200 direct payments to most people, and hundreds of billions of dollars for state and local governments to help them avoid furloughing workers and cutting services as tax revenues shriveled."

Republicans clearly don't give a f--k.

"Some Republicans in Congress argue that the extra $600 in unemployment benefits is so generous that it is discouraging people from going back to work. Several university studies have cast doubt on that. Economists and labor experts say that the benefits certain jobs carry, such as health care, can be enough for people to go back to work even if the pay is low."

Many are afraid of the pandemic or have to remain home to take care of kids due to closed schools.  Republicans are out to lunch.  Hopelessly, clueless.  Too deaf to hear the rumble.  An unwanted, dreaded second American revolution catastrophically looms.

The Washington Post reports:

"Talks on a coronavirus relief package collapsed on Capitol Hill on Friday, and White House officials said they will recommend that President Trump move ahead without Congress to try and address unemployment benefits, eviction rules, and student loan relief. “The president would like us to make a deal, but unfortunately we did not make any progress today,” Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said after he and White House chief of staff Mark Meadows met with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer (D-N.Y.). “At this point we are going to recommend to the president that over the weekend we move forward with some executive actions,” Mnuchin said, though Trump administration officials have provided little guidance on how the executive actions would work or how they would attempt to redirect money without congressional approval. The talks had a dramatic and bitter unraveling, in part because Trump and Democrats have been locked in brinksmanship for years but often found ways to reach agreement on spending packages. There seemed to be little goodwill during the talks, and both sides dug in even as the economic recovery has shown signs of losing steam and millions of Americans remain unemployed. Democrats said they had offered to reduce the pricetag of their $3.4 trillion bill by $1 trillion, but that administration officials rejected the offer. They kept the door open to further negotiations, but after days of fruitless talks, chances for a deal were evaporating. Mnuchin said no further meetings were scheduled. Democrats say they cannot accept a bill that provides less than $2 trillion in new spending, while Senate Republicans believe no bill that large can pass their chamber. That left no clear legislative path forward, even as some 30 million jobless Americans have gone two weeks without emergency federal unemployment benefits that expired. “They said they couldn’t go much above their existing $1 trillion. And that was disappointing,” Schumer said. “We’re hopeful that they will think about it and come back and tell us they’re willing to meet us halfway,” he said."

Highly unlikely that will happen.

"But instead of additional negotiations the White House appears prepared to begin rolling out executive actions in coming days. There are at least four executive issues that White House officials have said they’d like to target through executive orders, though the legal standing for such a move without Congress is unclear."

Think they won't all be challenged in court?  LOL.

"One target is to attempt to provide some relief to jobless Americans whose enhanced unemployment aid expired at the end of last month. White House officials have looked at potentially redirecting money from other programs towards unemployment benefits. Another target is to provide eviction relief for Americans who had been protected by a congressionally authorized eviction moratorium, but it expired last month as well. The moratorium covered renters who live in homes with federally backed mortgages, which the Urban Institute estimates to be 12.3 million households. White House officials are also looking to extend student loan flexibility to certain Americans, cognizant that a congressionally approved program for those borrowers expires next month. White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow also said that Trump is poised to sign executive orders deferring payroll taxes, but the logistics of that is also unclear. It could not be immediately learned, for example, if Americans would ultimately have to repay any deferred tax cut."

Trump and his henchmen are grasping at straws.  The loss of that $600 weekly unemployment supplement is causing all kinds of problems for those who lost their jobs and remain unemployed due to the pandemic.  Think Republicans will not be blamed?

NPR reports:

"At his Bedminster, N.J., golf resort on Saturday, President Trump signed four executive actions to provide economic relief amid the coronavirus pandemic. The actions amount to a stopgap measure, after failing to secure an agreement with Congress. The three memorandums and one executive order call for extending some enhanced unemployment benefits, taking steps to stop evictions, continuing the suspension of student loan repayments and deferring payroll taxes. Trump promised that funds would be "rapidly distributed" to Americans in need, although it remains unclear whether the president has the authority to do certain steps unilaterally, without congressional approval. In any case, legal challenges are expected, which could delay any disbursement of funds. In one memorandum, Trump authorized the federal government to pay $300 per week for people on unemployment. States would be asked to pay an additional $100, for a total of $400 weekly for unemployed workers. "If they don't, they don't. That's up to them," Trump said when asked what happens if governors don't have the funds available. "The states have the money. It's sitting there."

No.  Clearly, it's not.  Again, Trump lied.

"The previous enhanced unemployment benefits, which added $600 a week to standard state unemployment benefits, expired at the end of July. The text of the memorandum calls for up to $44 billion of federal funds for the benefits to come from the Department of Homeland Security's Disaster Relief Fund. The White House said states could use funding from the March coronavirus relief package, the CARES Act, to fund their portion of the benefits. Given the current number of Americans unemployed, those disaster funds would likely last only a handful of weeks."

He'll be sued.  No question.

"In an executive order calling to minimize evictions, Trump directed various federal agencies to make funds available for temporary financial assistance to renters and homeowners facing financial hardship caused by COVID-19. "It's not their fault that this virus came into our country," he said of renters and homeowners. "It's China's fault."

Is it?  Think so?  No evidence of that.  None.  All bullshit.  He's insane.  As usual, talking out his ass.  Expect better of a congenital liar?  Readers are reminded he knew the seriousness of the pandemic late last year.  Did nothing.  Shit squat.  Failed to take it seriously.  Failed to follow pandemic planning developed by his predecessors.  Then, lied about the existence of this planning.

"That order also directs the Department of Health and Human Services and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to consider whether measures to temporarily halt residential evictions for failure to pay rent "are reasonably necessary to prevent the further spread of COVID-19" from one state to another. A federal moratorium on evictions expired on July 24, allowing landlords to begin issuing 30-day notices to vacate their properties. It is estimated that the temporary ban on evictions covered more than 12 million renters, preventing them from being pushed out of their homes even if they couldn't pay rent. Trump also extended relief for student loan borrowers. Student loan interest rates were cut to zero earlier this year, and students could suspend payments through September. Trump directed the secretary of education to extend the relief through the end of the year and said an additional extension is likely. And a fourth action defers payroll tax collection for workers earning less than $100,000 a year, beginning Sept. 1. "This will mean bigger paychecks [for a time] for working families, as we race to produce a vaccine and eradicate the China virus once and for all," Trump told reporters."

Empty rhetoric.  All of it.  Gets worse.  Get this.  The following is appalling:

"Trump said the "payroll tax holiday" would last through the end of the year but could be made permanent if he is reelected. The connection to November's election wasn't subtle. "If I'm victorious on Nov. 3, I plan to forgive these taxes and make permanent cuts to the payroll tax. I'm going to make them all permanent," Trump said, then turning to jab congressional Democrats and his opponent, former Vice President Joe Biden. "So they will have the option of raising everybody's taxes and taking this away. But if I win, I may extend and terminate. In other words, I will extend it beyond the end of the year and terminate the tax. And so, we'll see what happens."

He doesn't have the power to do so.  Congress does.  Again, Trump is lying:

"A president cannot forgive taxes without congressional approval. Both congressional Democrats and Republicans alike opposed this payroll tax proposal when Trump was trying to get them to include it in the coronavirus relief package. Payroll taxes fund Medicare and Social Security, and this deferral won't do anything to help the millions of Americans currently unemployed. Trump is likely doing this through the same mechanism that allowed taxpayers to put off filing their taxes until July 15 this year, says Andrew Rudalevige, a professor at Bowdoin College who specializes in presidential executive actions. "The Treasury secretary is authorized to delay the deadline for any action required under tax law up to one year," said Rudalevige, in the case of a federally declared disaster, and all states are currently operating under one because of the pandemic. "So payroll tax payments could under this provision be delayed. But not forgiven — those taxes are still owed."

That's right.  Trump's lying.

"There are already significant concerns about the long-term solvency of the popular social safety net programs. Reducing payroll taxes would hasten those problems. Trump's actions come after weeks of talks between Republicans and Democrats on Capitol Hill over the next round coronavirus relief. As of Saturday, they were still far from reaching agreement. Democratic Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi responded to Trump's executive actions on Saturday evening, calling them "unworkable, weak and narrow policy announcements." In a statement, they called for Republicans to return to negotiations."

A congenital liar poses a threat to the health and welfare of our formerly great country.  NPR reports:

"Both Twitter and Facebook have removed a post shared by President Trump for breaking their rules against spreading coronavirus misinformation. Twitter temporarily blocked the Trump election campaign account from tweeting until it removed a post with a video clip from a Fox News interview from Wednesday morning, in which the president urged schools to reopen, falsely claiming that children are "almost immune from this disease." Facebook also removed a post containing the same video from Trump's personal page. Research has shown that while children tend to get infected with the coronavirus less often and have milder symptoms than adults, kids can still contract and spread it. Some have gotten seriously ill and even died. "This video includes false claims that a group of people is immune from COVID-19 which is a violation of our policies around harmful COVID misinformation," said Andy Stone, a Facebook spokesperson. "The @TeamTrump Tweet you referenced is in violation of the Twitter Rules on COVID-19 misinformation. The account owner will be required to remove the Tweet before they can Tweet again," said Twitter spokesperson Trenton Kennedy. The Trump campaign removed the tweet and has since been tweeting again.

"In recent months, Facebook has removed Trump campaign ads that used a Nazi symbol as well as ads that made misleading claims about the 2020 census. In June, Facebook took down a post shared by President Trump containing a doctored video of a "racist baby," following a copyright complaint from one of the children's parents."

Truth?  What's that, Mr. 'President?'

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.  Forfeiture of liberty.  At the hands of outrageously corrupt and abusive government.

Pence remains clueless, out to lunch, oblivious to the truth, divorced from reality.  NBC News reports:

"Vice President Mike Pence said in an interview airing Thursday that Chief Justice John Roberts has let down conservatives by siding with the Supreme Court's liberal justices in several recent decisions. "We have great respect for the institution of the Supreme Court of the United States, but Chief Justice John Roberts has been a disappointment to conservatives whether it be the Obamacare decision or whether it be a spate of recent decisions," Pence said in an interview with Christian Broadcasting Network’s David Brody, who released a clip of this portion of the interview Wednesday night."

Conservatives?  The late Arizona Senator Barry Goldwater was a conservative.  No so present-day Republican nazis.  Fascism, nazism, national socialism defined as the pernicious blend of government, business, and religion. 'Justified' by perversion and bastardization of the latter.

"Pence said that Roberts' rulings are a reminder "of just how important this election is for the future of the Supreme Court."

With extremely rare exception, the current Supreme Court is run and owned by five Republican partisan nazis. Wake up, Mr. 'Vice President.'

"The vice president specifically criticized Roberts for siding with the high court's liberals in striking down a restrictive abortion law in Louisiana. Pence noted that the law required doctors working in abortion clinics “to have admitting privileges at local hospitals." "That's a very modest restriction on abortion providers, but a narrow majority in the Supreme Court still said it was unacceptable," he said. "I think it's been a wake-up call for pro-life voters around the country who understand, in a very real sense, the destiny of the Supreme Court is on the ballot in 2020."

Jesus Christ.  Our national socialist, achingly fascist 'Vice President' remains hopelessly clueless.  It's not just doctors suffering from arbitrary, unneeded restrictions designed and imposed by anti-abortion 'religious' nazis in our formerly great country.  It is women in desperate need of an abortion who are forced to travel hundreds of miles for the medical procedure.  Ferociously pointedly, who the f--k are nazi Republicans and their sick sycophants in the 'religious' community to dictate to a woman what she can and cannot do with HER uterus?  Raw nazism.  Readers are reminded abortion was illegal in Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy.

"Roberts also cast the deciding vote by joining liberal justices in a 5-4 decision that blocked the Trump administration from shutting down DACA, which allows young people known as Dreamers to remain in the U.S. In a 6-3 decision, Roberts also joined the majority in ruling that federal law does not allow job discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or transgender status."

Roberts is apparently not as Far Right nazi in his ideology as the four other Republican nazis on the Court.  Pence clearly wants all of them to march in goose step with their fuhrer, the Trump nazi:

"Pence reiterated in the interview that President Donald Trump plans to release a list of candidates that he could draw from for future appointments to the Supreme Court."

The Washington Post reports:

"Trump frequently touts his appointments of federal judges — including Supreme Court Justices Neil M. Gorsuch and Brett M. Kavanaugh — as among his first-term accomplishments. Last month, the Senate confirmed Trump’s 200th federal judicial nominee, a milestone that reflects the breakneck speed at which he and fellow Republicans have moved to create a legacy that will endure regardless of the outcome of this year’s elections."

The nazi element in our formerly great country fails to understand the danger, exigent threat to a democratic republic their outrageously fascist ideology presents.  -- A democratic republic that currently remains a democratic republic in name only.  In reality, a de facto fascist police-state.  ... Hear the rumble?  An unwanted, dreaded second American revolution catastrophically looms.

"Besides the Louisiana abortion case, Roberts also dismayed conservatives in recent weeks by finding that federal anti-discrimination law protects gay, bisexual and transgender workers and by stopping the president from ending the federal program that protects undocumented immigrants brought to the United States as children. In a 2018 rejoinder to Trump, Roberts notably said that “we do not have Obama judges or Trump judges, Bush judges or Clinton judges.”

Clearly, Roberts remains concerned about the exigent threat raw nazism poses to what is supposed to be a democratic republic.

A nazi 'court' does the bidding of Trump, his henchmen, and his rabid supporters.  United Press International reports:

"A federal appeals court has dissolved an injunction on four Arkansas laws imposing new requirements to obtain an abortion. The 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Friday vacated District Judge Kristine Baker's injunction put in place in 2017. Baker's ruling blocked four laws: one that bans the second-trimester abortion procedure dilation and evacuation; a second that requires doctors to notify law enforcement when anyone 16 or younger obtains an abortion; a third that requires doctors to review a woman's medical records to ensure she isn't using the procedure as a form of sex selection if she knows the fetus's sex; and a fourth that requires a patient to notify a partner or family regarding disposal of abortion remains."

Nazi justice in Nazi America.

"The American Civil Liberties Union and the national Center for Reproductive Rights said the ruling won't take effect for 21 days, allowing the four laws to remain blocked until Aug. 28. "If allowed to take effect, these restrictions would completely block many people from obtaining abortion care, and would eventually leave the state with even more limited abortion care," the ACLU said in a statement."

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.  Forfeiture of liberty.  At the hands of outrageously corrupt and abusive government.

Aggressive stupidity displayed by out of control, national socialist, fascist, Republican nazis running Texas ass backwards.  NBC News reports:

"Several Texas clinics say they saw an uptick in women seeking abortions later in their pregnancies this spring, after the state temporarily halted most abortions amid the coronavirus pandemic. Hundreds of abortions were canceled after Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, a Republican, signed an executive order on March 22 banning all nonessential medical procedures, and the state’s attorney general, Ken Paxton, said in a statement that the ban included abortions, unless a woman’s health was at risk. The executive order was intended to help preserve hospital space and personal protective equipment for the care of COVID-19 patients."

The hell it was.  Any goddamned excuse to dictate to a woman what she can and cannot do with HER uterus.

Goddamned disingenuous bullshit:

“For years, abortion has been touted as a ‘choice’ by the same groups now attempting to claim that it is an essential procedure,” Paxton said in a statement at the time."

Paxton's bullshit backfired:

"After a monthlong legal fight, and what doctors describe as confusion and uncertainty among their patients as the rules about who could receive an abortion kept changing, Texas clinics were allowed to resume offering abortions on April 22 — and they soon saw an influx of women who had planned to terminate their pregnancy weeks earlier. Southwestern Women’s Surgery Center in Dallas reported a 57 percent jump in second trimester abortions in the month after the ban was lifted compared to the month leading up to it, said Dr. Robin Wallace, the center’s co-medical director. The clinic declined to release the raw numbers. “It’s infuriating because you can't just turn on and off health care,” Wallace said. “The hardship incurred when patients upon arrival were told that the courts just made a new decision and their appointment was now canceled — it was heartbreaking for patients and our staff.”

Gets worse.  Get this:

"By the time the executive order expired, many patients were no longer able to receive a medication abortion, which is only offered in the first 10 weeks of pregnancy in Texas, and instead could only receive a surgical abortion, according to several clinics."

At increased risk and expense.  All due to Republican nazis.

"Planned Parenthood Center for Choice in Houston recorded a 28 percent increase in abortions after 10 weeks of pregnancy once the ban was lifted — an average of 51 weekly patients seeking these later abortions in the three weeks after April 22, compared to about 40 patients per week prior to the ban. “At the first visit, folks had expressed wanting to do a medication abortion, but then so many people weren't able to come back for several weeks, which put them out of the window when they would have been able to access that care,” said Dr. Bhavik Kumar, medical director for primary and trans care at Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast. “We were ready, capable and able to do what we needed to do to take care of our patients, but we legally weren't able to do that,” he said."

All due to Republican nazis and their supporters determined to force their perverse religious views on others.  Raw nazism.  Readers are reminded abortions were illegal in Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy.

"At Whole Woman’s Health in Austin, the number of surgical abortions nearly doubled in the three weeks after April 22 — there were 60 total during those three weeks — compared to the three weeks before the ban. Soraya Dadras, the clinic director, said many patients were upset when they learned they were no longer eligible for a medication abortion. “The idea of having an in-clinic procedure was more daunting for them than having a medication abortion in the safety of their home with their partner,” she said."

All due to Republican nazis and their perverse religious views.

"When Paige, 21, found out she was pregnant in late March, she knew she wasn’t ready to have a child. At first she worried about the cost of an abortion, but then realized she might not be able to receive an abortion in Texas at all. “I felt like I was being punished in some way for getting pregnant,” said Paige, a Houston resident who spoke on the condition of anonymity to protect her privacy. “I felt like I was on an emotional and physical roller coaster.” After traveling from Houston to Dallas for an appointment that was later canceled, Paige said she couldn’t keep waiting. She flew to Albuquerque, New Mexico, and had an abortion there. When she returned to Texas, a sense of relief washed over her. “I was back in the comfort of my own space, where I knew COVID couldn’t get me, and I was finally able to lay down and breathe, because I didn't feel like I was breathing through any of it,” she said."

All due to the nazi element running government.

"While abortion access has returned to normal in Texas, doctors are watching the state’s COVID-19 surge warily, concerned that they could be forced to close their doors again. “There has been so much back and forth with the state, and as a provider in Texas, I know I need to be prepared for another instance when I am forced to stop providing essential care to my patients due to the harmful orders from our state leaders,” Kumar said. “My patients deserve better, and I demand better for them.”

... Hear the rumble?  An unwanted, dreaded second American revolution catastrophically looms.

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.  Forfeiture of liberty.  At the hands of outrageously corrupt and abusive government.

Biden makes VP choice.  The Associated Press reports:

"Joe Biden named California Sen. Kamala Harris as his running mate on Tuesday, making history by selecting the first Black woman to compete on a major party’s presidential ticket and acknowledging the vital role Black voters will play in his bid to defeat President Donald Trump. In choosing Harris, Biden is embracing a former rival from the Democratic primary who is familiar with the unique rigor of a national campaign. Born to a Jamaican father and Indian mother, the 55-year-old first-term senator is one of the party’s most prominent figures. She quickly became a top contender for the No. 2 spot after her own White House campaign ended. In a tweet, Biden called Harris a “fearless fighter for the little guy, and one of the country’s finest public servants.” “Together, with you, we’re going to beat Trump,” he said.

Reed Galen opines in NBC News:

"American politics, like our national life, is upside down and backward this year. Schools aren’t able to open, college football won’t be played, and former Republicans are working to defeat incumbent senators of their old party. The Lincoln Project, of which I am co-founder, stated in our founding op-ed of December 2019 that we would work “to defeat Donald Trump and Trumpism at the ballot box.” Seven months on, as the election campaign heats up and former Vice President Joe Biden picks Sen. Kamala Harris as his running mate, we spend each day exploring new and different ways to accomplish both those goals."

That right?  LOL.  ... Never a dull moment.  Never.  LOL.

"To listen, read and watch Republicans inside the Beltway, you’d think we cooked up this plan over a long weekend in May and decided to begin “burning the Republican Party to the ground.” Never mind that such detractors still seem to have no explanation for why conservatives would want to do such a thing."

That right?  LOL.  The problem is those who back Trump are not conservatives, they're fascists.  Fascism, nazism, national socialism defined as the pernicious blend of government, business, and religion. 'Justified' by perversion and bastardization of the latter.

"But in fact, our efforts are not about the Republican Party writ large, even though it will also need a thorough cleaning once this year’s remnants are swept into America’s political dustbin. No, our efforts have become broader then President Donald Trump because America as we know it cannot survive four more years of what has become a broader and sustained assault against our democratic institutions. The rapid expansion of executive and unchecked power has brought us to the brink of authoritarianism. And this would not be possible without the complicity of Republicans in Congress."

Goddamned right.  No question.  Republican nazis intoxicated with dictatorial power are enabling this.  ... Hear the rumble?  An wanted, dreaded second American revolution catastrophically looms.

"Trump and every member of the United States Senate who has stood by him deserve what voters will hand them this fall. That includes senators like Susan Collins of Maine, who has fallen into the comic routine of being “disappointed” by the president’s actions, but continues to enable them with every vote she takes. Or Sen. Lindsay Graham of South Carolina, who once characterized Trump as a “race-baiting, xenophobic, religious bigot” but has since transformed into one of Trump’s biggest defenders. He’s currently using his position as chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee to effectively launder Russian propaganda in a craven effort to discredit the campaign of former Vice President Joe Biden. The problem with acting only in the name of political expediency is that sometimes events and karma catch up with you, as incumbent Republicans are learning."

No question.

"Pundits have expressed concern over our efforts to hold Trump’s accomplices in the House and Senate accountable. That the root of the GOP’s problems begins and ends with Trump. We reject this rationale. These individuals chose to enter public life and run for office, demonstrating some level of personal agency. They are not excused for their cowardice and poor decision-making because the bottom fell out of the world and exposed their frailty. The idea that they would enjoy the same immunity to consequences and accountability that they gave Trump is ridiculous."

Status quo, not sustainable.  At some point, the house of cards, figuratively speaking, will fall.

"If this is to be an argument about ideology and party fealty, I submit that none of these endangered senators can any longer legitimately claim the label of Republican or conservative. Each of them, through their complicity and silence, have surrendered those descriptors. Trump threw a Twitter tantrum about me and my friends. His rant proved our point. Once upon a time, the GOP stood on the three pillars of individual liberty, fiscal conservatism and a moral foreign policy. It was a party that claimed to adhere to the Constitution and the rule of law. No Republican leader today abides by these tenets. Since Trump’s election, some GOP senators have become part and parcel of his movement, one that is as dangerous as it is chaotic."

Indeed.  Last true Republican conservative was the late Arizona Sen. Barry Goldwater.  Despite all politicking at the time, think the Vietnam War would have ended as badly as it did had Goldwater been elected president in 1964?  Wasn't clear at the time, but certainly from the vantage point of 56 years of history, things look one hell of a lot different today.  Sadly, how many died for absolutely nothing?  Maimed?  Living with post traumatic stress?  Broken lives?  We've got to get smarter.  Both major political parties.  Both not worth a shit.  For totally different reasons.  Now, we're dealing with a narcissistic, out of control, fascist dictator.  Where did we lose ourselves?

"It is not conservative to stand silently by and watch as the president of the United States deploys federal authorities into city streets. The act flies in the face of the rule of law and due process, and is an abusive government overreach. National Republicans now only cry states’ rights when it suits them. For them, if it’s a blue city in a blue state, prep the tear gas and load the rubber bullets. If it’s Trump supporters toting AR-15s and Confederate flags and calling for Michigan (and Democrat) Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s ouster? Crickets."

No shit.  LOL.  Keep telling it like it is.

"As Congress and the White House stall on another relief package for a nation ruptured and reeling from the pandemic, Republican senators are now expressing concern over the government’s spending. This after they already approved $3 trillion in aid earlier in the year. In 2017, they passed a massive, unfunded tax cut relying on the ghost of trickle-down economics to fill a monstrous budget hole they chose to ignore."

Indeed.  A point made repeatedly here and elsewhere.  They think in the immediate here and now.  Future ramifications?  No concern.  None.  Out to lunch.

"Trump’s administration has done frightful damage to America’s standing in the world and our international alliances. We now coddle dictators and strongmen. Despite our intelligence and military experts belief that Russia put bounties on the heads of American soldiers and Marines in Afghanistan, Trump can’t find time to bring it up on his regular check-in calls with Russian President Vladimir Putin. No longer a Shining City on a Hill, from afar, the United States is a darkened shell of its former self."

Points made repeatedly in this publication over the years.

"But, but, but, the experts say, if you hand the U.S. Senate to the Democrats, socialism will run rampant. First, Biden is no socialist. Neither is House Speaker Nancy Pelosi or Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer. Next, nothing in this country, no pet project, no party-line shift in the country, is possible until and unless we contain COVID-19 and get kids back to school and Americans back to work. Are these Republicans likely to be willing partners in such an endeavor? No. Come next January, they’ll get back up on their rickety soap boxes and object and obstruct anything and everything that doesn’t fit into their shallow, performative playbook. They’ll continue to put themselves and their futures ahead of their country. For that, they no longer deserve the honor of serving in Congress."

That's right.  Hopefully, the electorate will finally wake up.  If not, hear the rumble?  An unwanted, dreaded second American revolution catastrophically looms.

"These people are no longer Republicans nor should they be called conservatives. They’re scarecrows on America’s political plains, empty husks of individuals who traded their principles and their consciences for political expediency. They bought their tickets on the Trump Train. It’s time for them to take the ride."

Indeed.  Brilliant editorial.  Highly representative of the political center.  Extreme Right and Left remain an exigent threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties.  Time to finally wake up.

There are a few Republicans out there with principles.  NPR reports:

"Veteran political consultant Stuart Stevens has spent years working as a strategist for Republican campaigns, including the presidential bids of Bob Dole, George W. Bush and Mitt Romney. But Stevens didn't support the party's candidate in the 2016 presidential election — and he wasn't alone. "In 2016, when I went out and attacked Trump on television," he says, "I would say maybe a third of the party hierarchy would email me and thank me for doing this." But Stevens notes that many of the Republicans who had privately voiced concern about Trump changed their tune on election night. "I started getting emails like, 'Could you maybe delete that email?' " he says. "It's an extraordinary contradiction," Stevens tells Fresh Air in an Internet interview. He notes, "I've never heard any Republican officeholder speak of President Trump as if he should be president. ... They know he shouldn't be president. [But] he is president, and they still support him."

No shit.  LOL.

"In his new book, It Was All a Lie: How the Republican Party Became Donald Trump, Stevens argues that the party's support for Trump isn't just a pragmatic choice. Instead, he says, it reflects the party's complete abandonment of principles it long claimed to embrace, such as fiscal restraint, personal responsibility and family values. Stevens acknowledges his own role in the party's shift: "One of the things that drew me to the Republican Party was the concept of personal responsibility. So I don't know where to begin with personal responsibility except to take responsibility personally." It's an abdication of leadership on behalf of Republican Party leaders that have allowed these kooks and lunatics and anti-intellectuals to become dominant in the party."

No shit.  LOL.  Interview and article go on and on.  Refreshing to see a Republican admitting the truth.

The effort to expose Wells Fargo egregious deceptive trade practices continues.  Several years ago to determinedly apply renewed pressure on our truly worthless, egregiously self-serving Texas Attorney General, now Governor, an excoriating email was sent to the bastard. Copies of which were also passed on to both offending Wells Fargo officers. A copy was also sent to the Davis campaign and others at the time.

Voters did have a right to know as Attorney General, the GOP candidate for Governor apparently selectively investigated, or not, bona fide complaints filed by citizens against banks too big to fail.  Possibly, Wells Fargo could have lined his pockets in some fashion.  That has yet to be determined.

The bastard and his office, no matter what, failed to respond to the complaint originally snail mailed several years ago.  This material, figuratively targeting Wells Fargo and the governor 'wannabe' now Governor, had been posted and can be found by scrolling all the way down and clicking on the links well below.  ... Governor?  Wells Fargo bribe you to look the other way?

Will continue to do all I can to publicly expose this to all, both in this publication and elsewhere.  Have done precisely that with the following email sent to Matt Turner, Matt Turner Video Services, Marble Falls, TX.  A copy of it was also sent to Wells Fargo officer Amanda Wright.  She has, indeed, been promoted  branch manager. Reverse Darwinism.  Survival of the unfittest.

This young woman has indeed been rewarded by the Wells Fargo corporate management suite for engaging in criminal deceptive trade practices and her undying loyalty to her corporate masters. The process to update those already informed of this fiasco has finally been completed. This latest material can be found by clicking onWells Fargo Deceptive Trade Practices Salvo 240, 2-8-19.

The name of this publication was changed some fifteen years ago from The Llano Ledger to Liberty In Peril.  The reason?  Simple.  Cowardly failure of this community to stand up to tyranny that has only exponentially worsened the last decade and a half.  Clearly, demonstrated as well by the cowardly failure of businesses to financially support this publication.  Either through advertising or other financial support.  Too afraid doing so would enrage the bastards who run and own this hellhole County.

-- Despite the fact these businesses were, and are, being egregiously f--ked by these very same bastards. Tough, isn't it?  Impossible to entertain any sympathy for cowardice, however.  Especially in view of the fact this writer has placed himself in great jeopardy taking on these corrupt, abusive, inept criminal bastards.  Alone.

Exactly, why you see no investigative material highly critical of these sons of bitches in other local rags.  Sadly, cowardly, all advertising income immediately dries up.  Consequently, the bastards continue their criminal chicanery with impunity.  On a rampage.  Thus, you get what you truly deserve.  Always.  Precisely, why this earlier name change to Liberty In Peril remains appropriate.  -- Despite the fact this writer has not yet left the area.  Ten years after originally intending to do so.  Thirty years in this goddamned godforsaken hellhole.

This writer, then and now, remains primarily interested in state, federal, and international issues.  Another reason for this publication name change.  Despite the fact I stupidly cluelessly remain here, local issues must be addressed.  Can't be ignored.  That's where you come in dear readers.  Have the courage to inform this writer of local abuse, corruption, ineptness you are aware of, have personally experienced.

... Information these criminal bastards do all they can to conceal, cover up.  Otherwise, how can they effectively sustain the charade and intended result? Loot confiscation through a boot heel on the throat of the citizenry.

The only way, short of an unwanted dreaded second American revolution, to force badly-needed change is to expose all this to the light of day.  These bastards are beginning to understand they have a problem.  No question, the growing rage of those they've abused, looted, egregiously f--ked.  It's time to stand up.  Expose this corruption to glaring sunlight.  Otherwise, as fools, cowards, you will remain under their thumb.  From the loftiest business owner to those on the bottom of the food chain.  Wake up.  Grow a pair.

Still don't think that likely to happen.  After all, you're bought and paid for.  Owned. Not only by your government masters, but their masters.  The corporate management suite.  Your employers.  Think not? Wake up.   You're human chattel.  Corporate-owned, bought and paid for.  Precisely, why you cowardly, compliantly, literally bare your asses for corporate inspection by the company doctor.  Willingly, compliantly, cowardly piss in a cup under employer supervision.  To sit in front of a keyboard or stock shelves all day.  You have no control of your lives.  You're owned.  Forget?  For a measly salary, no job security, reduced to no benefits.  At a time of record corporate profits and cash reserves.

Then, you gallingly complain about the oppression as you tolerate egregious theft of your labor. Not only by your corporate masters, but their bought and paid for government lackeys.  Too cowardly to stand up, allow disclosure of your identity when you rightfully complain to this publication of being mercilessly f--ked. Some of you falsely arrested, criminally assaulted, bogusly fined for 'offenses' you did not commit.  To line County coffers.  Keep the peasants in line and under control.  A fascist police-state. Nazi America.

Again, yet another reason why this publication is called Liberty In Peril.  Most galling? Nothing changes if you fail to step up and challenge corrupt, abusive, inept authority.  Too afraid, cowardly compliant to let the bastards know who you are.  Did it ever occur to the cowards out there if the identity of the accuser is kept under wraps the bastards will falsely claim it's all made up by this publication?  Thus, conveniently killing all credibility. Wake up.

Cowardice is unbecoming, unworthy of our formerly great country.  Insult to injury?  There are the hopelessly deranged who believe the chicanery reported here to be manufactured anyway.  No matter the effort.  No matter the research.  No matter the proof.  Wake up.  This writer cannot do it alone.  Snowball's chance in hell.  Then again, cowardice, delusion is always amply, justly rewarded.  Always. You continue to 'enjoy' the very best government money can buy.  Literally.
