How much did you bribe law enforcement to ignore a complaint I filed with them years before the old man died?  How much did you bribe the prosecutor to ignore a complaint filed with her several years ago?  How much?  Use the old man's money to bribe the bitch?  Her cohorts?  Your law enforcement shysters?  While there may indeed be no justice from a corrupt system, fortunately, I do have a way to publicly expose you for the goddamned thieving son of a bitch you truly are.

While the business and church communities stood tall during the recent Kingsland flood catastrophe, there was one glaring exception.  On 10-17-18, the Antlers Coffee Shop closed due to storm-related failure of the Kingsland water system. Patrons, however, are routinely allowed to get online outside even when the shop is closed.

A long-term coffee shop customer entered the hotel lobby to ask the desk clerk whether wifi was still up and running after the catastrophe.  She said it was and told the patron he could get online inside the closed shop.  She then asked him to have another regular customer who had just arrived outside to come in and get out of the cold as well.

Antlers co-proprietor Rick apparently quickly got wind of both customers, made quite a jackass of himself emulating the petulant narcissist currently occupying the Oval Office.  Aggressive stupidity at a time the Kingsland business community is indeed suffering, can least afford it.  Further proof positive of the old adage 'can fix ignorant, can't fix stupid.'

Why would, why should both customers put up with this?  Think this hasn't happened to others?

Uncommon Valor.  Not only on the battlefield.  NPR reports:

"Seven years ago, Maj. Jason Brezler sent an urgent message to a fellow Marine in Afghanistan, warning him about an insider threat. The warning wasn't heeded, and two weeks later, three U.S. troops were dead. What did attract attention was that Brezler had sent classified information over an insecure network. The Marine Corps then embarked on what would be a multiyear effort to kick out Brezler — claiming it was for mishandling information. Brezler maintained it was retaliation for calling attention to deaths he thought might have been prevented."

Took a risk to save lives of fellow troops.  Question to be asked is remarkably simple.  Why wasn't his warning heeded?  Instead, the Corps did all it could to boot him out.  To cover its failure?  Needless loss of lives of fellow troops?

"The U.S. Navy Board of Inquiry decided to remove Brezler from service with an honorable discharge: Brezler wouldn't lose any benefits or rank; he just wouldn't be a Marine anymore. "In light of my very strong desire to continue to serve and lead Marines, it didn't feel honorable," he told NPR in 2016. So Brezler sued in federal court and won a new hearing. Earlier this month he sat before a board of inquiry again, and on Aug. 9, seven years after he sent the warning to Afghanistan, the panel of military officers ruled in his favor."

How about that?

"The Board finds that none of the reasons listed above warrant Maj. Brezler's separation from the naval service and recommends closing the case," the decision read. On Wednesday, Brezler told NPR: "I am grateful that I will again have the opportunity to serve and contribute as a leader of Marines."

Indeed.


What took so long?  NBC News reports:

"A woman who attributes her success to "showing up prepared and working diligently" has become the first female Marine to pilot a F-35B fighter jet. U.S. Marine Capt. Anneliese Satz, 29, of Boise, Idaho, completed the F-35B Basic Course on June 27, the Marine Corp announced in a press release last week. Satz trained for four years, including in Corpus Christi, Texas, and Meridian, Mississippi, before arriving at Marine Corps Air Station in Beaufort, South Carolina, in July 2018. She took her first flight in the F-35B Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter, the first-ever supersonic short takeoff/vertical landing stealth aircraft, in October 2018. The first flight was done solo — something that Satz said she was prepared for thanks to her training, which included practice time in simulators and written exams. “The syllabus thoroughly prepares you for that first time you take off and for every flight after that, it’s an exhilarating experience,” she said in the press release. The Marines said Satz, who has more than 300 flight hours, will now join a unit called the Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 121, the Green Knights in Iwakuni, Japan."

Quite a talented woman:

"Before joining the Marines, Satz was a commercial pilot flying helicopters. She said her helicopter piloting and training schools helped her live up to her potential. “At each of my training schools I did my best,” Satz said. “I truly believe that showing up prepared and working diligently are two major keys to success.”

Indeed.

"The aircraft Satz will be flying is designed to take off and land from areas with small runway spaces, including flight decks, that operate close to front-line combat zones. Satz is a graduate of Boise State University, according to NBC affiliate KTVB in Boise. Her milestone comes 24 years after the Marine Corps got its first female aviator, then-2nd Lt. Sarah Deal, reported Military.com."

Hat's off.  Hopefully, the Captain is the first of many other women flying this fighter.


Imagine having parents like this.  ABC News reports:

"Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson posted the best birthday tribute for his oldest daughter on Wednesday. The actor and father of three, 47, wished his first-born, Simone Alexandra Johnson, a happy 18th with an emotional note about his everlasting love for her. "This pic of me holding your hand in the hospital was taken years ago when you were a child and you were knocked out from the anesthesia after surgery. "I knew then you’d never have a recollection of this moment, but I wanted to take this image for what I felt then and what I feel now it represents," he continued. How is it two surveyor companies, the Appraisal District, the Tax Office, the Precinct 3 Commissioner, even the goddamned Sheriff himself now states Kingsland resident James Berardi owns the lots in contention all these months?

Yet, you ludicrously assert that's not the County's legal position.  It's not?  Why not?  You claim you're not a real estate expert.  Rather than accept the advice of two surveyor companies, the Precinct 3 Commissioner, the Appraisal District, the Tax Office, and even the Sheriff himself, you've inexplicably chosen to follow the advice of property owner Johnny Greene, -- who conveniently happens to be reportedly in the oil industry.

Question to be asked.  Could you have received any 'consideration' in return, -- up to and including a bribe?  Only way to know for sure is for the District Attorney to conduct a criminal investigation.  Apparently, there has been none.  If not, why not?

Rodriguez is indeed an idiot.  Would you believe this piece of crap ordered the motor home to be moved on to an unmarked unused Llano County road? That motor home has indeed been moved back to where it was parked before Rodriguez forced it to be moved.  Why hasn't the County paid for the cost of moving it back?  To say nothing of the damage.

Equally pointedly, why is it the County has allowed Theresa Ahrens to park and live in her tiny cottage on that very same road?  Why hasn't she been evicted by the County?  Why was she assessed taxes on an adjacent improvement she doesn't own?

Why is it, Counselor, Johnny Greene is paying for the attorney retained by Ms. Ahrens?  Is Greene attempting to make this all go away by bribery?  Greene has also informed Berardi he is going to sue.  For what?  Has Greene lost his mind?

What about Wells who installed a $4500 septic system on a lot turns out he does not own as a result of Greene, an outrageously inept County, to say nothing of the Llano County Attorney who remains equally determinedly clueless?

Alan Van't Land of the Colorado Springs Police Department approaches two young black men in the 2100 block of Preuss Road in Colorado Springs, he tells them he is responding to a call about a possible assault. He says the men match suspect descriptions and he has been informed one of them may have a gun. "So don't reach for your waist. We're gonna just check and make sure that you don't have a weapon. All right?" Van't Land says, according to body camera footage released Thursday. Four seconds pass. As another officer approaches the men, one of them, De'Von Bailey, takes off running. "Hands up! Hands up!" the officers yell. Then a torrent of officer gunfire is unleashed and Bailey falls to the ground. At least eight shots can be heard on the video of the Aug. 3 incident. Bailey, 19, later died in the hospital."

"According to the El Paso County coroner, Bailey was shot four times — three times in the back and a fourth time in the right arm. An autopsy declared the manner of death to be homicide. And it's a point underscored by Bailey family attorney Darold Killmer, who spoke to reporters on Thursday. "Mr. Bailey was trying desperately to flee from the police and he did not have a weapon in his hand. And had not shown any weapon when he was shot in the back and killed," Killmer said. "The police appear to argue that they shot Mr. Bailey because they feared he was going for a gun at the time. We think the video shows otherwise."

Kerr said under department protocol, officers involved in shootings are placed on administrative leave for "approximately three days," the paper reported. "In my humble opinion, the black and brown citizens of Colorado Springs are not safe with these officers on the street," Terry Thomas, pastor of Lifting Up Jesus Church, said, as quoted by the Associated Press."

"More than five years after the death of Eric Garner was captured on cell phone video, the officer responsible for causing his death was terminated from New York City's Police Department. Since July 17, 2014, NYPD Officer Daniel Pantaleo has waited to learn whether he can remain on the force with the plainclothes anti-crime unit, lose vacations days or lose his job entirely. Months after a disciplinary trial in May and June this year, Deputy Commissioner of Trials Judge Rosemarie Maldonado recommended to Police Commissioner James O'Neill that Pantaleo be removed from the force. O'Neill announced Monday that Pantaleo was to be immediately terminated. "It's an extremely difficult decision," O'Neill said at a news conference Monday. "If I was still a cop, I'd probably be mad at me... [but] it's my responsibility as police commissioner to look out for the city.”

The New York City's medical examiner ruled that Garner's death was a homicide due to the sequence of evidence started by Pantaleo's chokehold that triggered a cascade of events and ended with a fatal asthma attack."

"The number of migrants detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement in the Deep South has quadrupled in the past year, alarming immigration advocates and attorneys who are struggling to keep up. According to previously unreported ICE data the agency shared with NBC News, the number of detainees in facilities contracted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Louisiana and Mississippi surged from just over 2,000 at the end of 2017 to more than 8,000 as of July. That’s nearly four times as many as were detained in the two states in November 2017, the numbers show. Louisiana, with a population of more than 6,500, now has the largest population of ICE detainees of any single state apart from Texas. Immigration attorneys on the ground say they’re worried about the speed of that expansion, referring to many of the sites as “black holes,” locations brought online for ICE detainees so recently that lawyers say they’ve lost track of their clients for days at a time.

"According to Department of Homeland Security data, the rate of detainees granted parole in the New Orleans AOR has decreased from 75.5 percent in 2016 to just 1.5 percent in 2018, making it the lowest parole rate of any AOR in the country. In May, the Southern Poverty Law Center sued Department of Homeland Security and ICE officials over the parole rate, accusing the agency of violating its own protocols, which they argue requires the agency to release people who are not a flight risk or a danger to their community. The lawsuit names a dozen plaintiffs now detained in Louisiana and Alabama, many of whom have been inside for months, some as long as a year. For family members like Katis, who asked that only her first name be used to protect her brother’s identity, those numbers are personal. Her brother has been detained in ICE custody for 10 months, and is now in the Adams County Correctional Facility, one of the eight facilities that came under ICE contract this year."

He presented himself at the Laredo, Texas, port of entry and asked for asylum. From there he was transferred to facilities in Texas and Louisiana before winding up at the Adams County Correctional Center. He was denied asylum in May, then applied for parole, citing his sister’s status as a citizen and his profession as a doctor as proof that he wasn’t a flight risk or a danger. ICE denied that request, which means he will remain in ICE custody for the duration of his appeals. “We came looking for liberty because it’s supposed to be the country of liberty,” Katis said. “They haven’t even gotten freedom.” "Es peor,” she added, which means, “It's worse.”

Since then, he has been detained in two rural facilities — first in Louisiana, and now in Adams County, Miss. — where he is faced with daunting legal hurdles. Chief among them: Alonso has met his lawyer only once in his nearly 11 months in federal custody. And his plight is becoming more common. More than half of immigrants detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement are housed in remote rural prisons, according to a new NPR analysis, about 52%. That number is increasing. That is a mounting concern for those who advocate on behalf of immigrants, because detainees in rural areas are facing higher barriers to obtaining a lawyer, more likely to have their asylum cases denied and more likely to be deported to their home countries. Alonso sought asylum in the U.S. last October, turning himself over to immigration officials in Laredo, Texas. He was soon moved to a rural detention facility in Pine Prairie, La., a four-hour drive from New Orleans and 1,000 miles away from his family. "I had the chance to visit him [once] even though it was very far away," says Alonso's wife, Midalis Rodriguez, a permanent U.S. resident who lives in southern Florida with their two children. In June, Alonso was transferred to another rural prison in Adams County, Miss., 100 miles from the nearest city of Baton Rouge. "It's a very concerning trend that immigration detention is moving to rural areas, remote areas, where it makes it so much harder for a person in detention to get the support that they need," says Liz Martinez, a board member for Freedom for Immigrants, an immigrant rights group. In fact, only a minority of detainees have lawyers at all. According to a 2015 study published in the University of Pennsylvania Law Review, only 14% of immigrant detainees have legal representation. Those in urban areas are at least four times more likely to have an attorney. Last year, the Southern Poverty Law Center sued ICE and its parent agency, the Department of Homeland Security, alleging the agency was deliberately detaining people in rural areas far from legal resources."

But many immigration attorneys say in reality, there are lots of roadblocks: not enough phones, poor connections, little or no access to interpreters, and restrictive visiting hours. For Alonso, who is 50, it has led to an excruciating wait. His health is failing; he has severe gout and was recently diagnosed with lung cancer. Alonso eventually found attorneys to take his case, pro bono; he is among a very tiny fraction of detainees able to secure such free legal services. "Chaos broke out at the protest of an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Rhode Island late Wednesday when a truck tried to drive through protesters and corrections officers ended up pepper-spraying the crowd. The protest outside the Wyatt Detention Center in Central Falls, Rhode Island, less than 10 miles north of Providence, was led by members of the "Never Again" movement, which likens undocumented immigrants being imprisoned to the treatment of Jews during the Holocaust. Protesters have been organizing outside the ICE facility since early July. About a dozen people were treated for irritation due to the pepper spray Wednesday, while one person was taken to the hospital for a minor injury, Providence ABC affiliate WLNE reported. Protesters surrounded the pick-up truck as it left the facility, with at least one person jumping on the back, before the group refused to move. They could be heard chanting, "The whole world is watching," as officers repeatedly asked them to move back. After about 45 seconds, at least one corrections officer is seen unleashing a large cloud of pepper spray -- sending the dozens of protesters scattering. The person driving the truck was not an ICE employee, an official told ABC News."

Carefully consider the following:

"Every time we ask ourselves would I have done something during the Holocaust? Would I have done something?" protester Jack Silverman told WLNE. "I want to make sure that when I tell my grandkids, 'This is what was happening in the United States, and they say, 'Well what did you do?' I need to say that I did these things, and this is how it helped. Because I wouldn't be able to live with myself otherwise."

"The group, Never Again, released a statement, saying, "Last night we experienced a small example of the violence that ICE uses against our immigrant neighbors every day. "We are answering the call of our ancestors to sound the alarm: #NeverAgainIsNow. "ICE used data from immigrants' ankle monitors to raid seven food processing plants in Mississippi, raising concerns about privacy and immigrants’ rights. Federal immigration authorities were able to track an undocumented Guatemalan woman from the time she left her home in the morning and headed to work at a food processing plant in Mississippi, to the time she left work roughly 10 hours later. They were able to do so because the woman had received an ankle monitor upon being released from ICE detention, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials used data gleaned from her monitor to target raids this month on her plant and six others that led to the arrests of nearly 700 people."

"Unsealed search warrants from the raid reveal that immigration authorities have tracked such GPS data from dozens of undocumented immigrants with ankle monitors. Lawyers and immigration advocates told NBC News they had not previously heard of ICE employing this tactic, which they called “troubling” and said raised concerns about immigrants’ rights."

And they've vowed to hold police accountable for alleged wrongdoing. Their platforms have been met with stiff opposition from some, particularly law enforcement organizations, advocacy groups and state and federal politicians and other prosecutors who have accused the reformers of being anti-police and who believe the changes will make citizens less safe. None of the prosecutors have faced as much pushback as hard-charging Philadelphia County District Attorney Larry Krasner, whose 2017 election was a watershed moment for the criminal justice reform movement. Krasner, who is widely viewed as the nation's most progressive prosecutor, has routinely clashed with police groups and other law enforcement."

"He has instructed his team to avoid prosecutions "where appropriate" to lower the incarcerated population, opting instead for a more liberal use of diversion programs. Reformist DAs have sparked a "culture shift around what we've seen and heard with the possibility of what prosecutors can do," Brandon Evans, national political director for Real Justice PAC, a group that has seen eight of its endorsed candidates elected since 2017, told NBC News. "There are some people who absolutely ... believe in the culture in over-policing and the culture of prosecution," Evans said, adding that "whether it be with the FOP, whether it be with the area sitting elected officials, there's still hostility toward" these progressive prosecutors."

A few months ago, after hours of study crammed in between work at the store and her university classes, she passed her citizenship test. “They can’t send me back now,” she said. “I have my rights.”

And the people know it,” writes Whitehouse, who is listed as the attorney of record on the friend-of-the-court brief. “Perhaps the Court can heal itself before the public demands it be ‘restructured in order to reduce the influence of politics.’ ” The phrase is from a poll question with which a majority of Americans agreed. Democratic Sens. Mazie Hirono (Hawaii), Richard Blumenthal (Conn.) Richard J. Durbin (Ill.) and Kirsten Gillibrand (N.Y.) joined the incendiary brief, which questions whether the court’s conservative majority — nominated by three Republican presidents — is motivated by partisan intent and is in the pocket of the National Rifle Association and the Federalist Society, a conservative legal group. “Out in the real world, Americans are murdered each day with firearms in classrooms or movie theaters or churches or city streets, and a generation of preschoolers is being trained in active-shooter survival drills,” Whitehouse writes. “In the cloistered confines of this Court, and notwithstanding the public imperatives of these massacres, the NRA and its allies brashly presume, in word and deed, that they have a friendly audience for their ‘project.’ ”

Already have on a variety of other issues.  Certainly, not on the Second Amendment, however.  At least, not yet.  Again, the last best defense against outrageously corrupt and abusive government as intended by the Founders is indeed the Second Amendment.  Readers are reminded liberty is not free.  There's always a cost, price to be paid.  The right to bear arms ultimately provides the last best defense against corrupt, abusive government.

The price for this most precious right is indeed the cost of crimes perpetrated by illegal use of these very same weapons.  The Second Amendment protects against the greater evil, that is, loss of liberty to out of control government.  In the last two and a half years of the Trump nazi, most of the mass shootings were perpetrated by White Supremacists inspired by Trump.  Wake up.

"Anthony Scaramucci, a former White House communications director who has recently withdrawn his support for President Donald Trump, said Monday that he is putting together a coalition of former Trump Cabinet officials to denounce the President ahead of the 2020 election."

"I'm in the process of putting together a team of people that feel the exact same way that I do. This is not a 'Never Trump' situation. This not just screeching rhetoric. "Moreover, I have to get some former Cabinet officials in unity to speak up about it. They know it's a crisis," he added. Scaramucci did not provide any names of people associated with the coalition he said he is assembling, but predicted that by "middle to late fall" there will be a "trove" of people willing to speak out against Trump."

"Last week, Scaramucci announced he no longer supports Trump's reelection bid and that the top of the 2020 Republican presidential ticket may need to be replaced. During his "New Day" appearance on Monday, Scaramucci said that if more Republicans begin publicly opposing Trump, it would jumpstart a "process" that could eventually replace Trump on the GOP ticket."

"Trump could also face a challenge from former South Carolina Rep. Mark Sanford, who is mulling a longshot bid against the President for the Republican primary. On Sunday, Sanford told NBC that Trump doesn't deserve to be reelected because he is taking the country in the "wrong direction" and that there needs to be a "course correction." Scaramucci, who has not publicly endorsed a Republican challenger, told Camerota that the party has to "offer Republicans a viable candidate and you also have to offer them an off ramp," adding that while it's "tough" to support the President, "you want to be loyal" to the party."

"A federal appeals court in California ruled that migrant children detained by U.S. immigration authorities must be provided with edible food, clean water, and basic hygiene items such as soap and toothbrushes, in accordance with a decades-old court order. The ruling by a three-judge panel of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals rejected a Trump administration challenge of a lower court decision finding that the government failed to offer detained minors safe and sanitary conditions as required by the 1997 Flores settlement. In 2017, U.S. District Judge Dolly Gee found that the government was violating that settlement by not providing safe and sanitary conditions when it held minors in conditions that deprived them of sleep — cold and over-crowded cells – and denied them access to food, water and basic hygiene.

"Assuring that children eat enough edible food, drink clean water, are housed in hygienic facilities with sanitary bathrooms, have soap and toothpaste, and are not sleep-deprived are without doubt essential to the children's safety," wrote Judge Marsha S. Berzon, a Clinton appointee. "The district court properly construed the Agreement as requiring such conditions rather than allowing the government to decide whether to provide them," she added. The Justice Department declined comment. During a hearing held before the appellate panel in June, an attorney for the government, Sarah Fabian, told a skeptical Judge A. “CBS Evening News” anchor Norah O’Donnell was caught on a hot mic during a segment on sexual harassment appearing to say: "Sounds like somebody else here.”

You go, gal.  LOL.  Let it rip.  LOL.

"The comment was made during a Tuesday night package on Placido Domingo, the opera legend accused by eight singers and a dancer of sexual harassment and abuse of power, detailed in an Associated Press report. O’Donnell’s comment came toward the end of the segment, right after Domingo’s statement was read aloud, where he said he believed all of his interactions and relationships were “welcomed and consensual.” Heard on air, the comment appears to have since been scrubbed from the network’s website. Her words are not completely clear, as O’Donnell, the recently installed anchor of the "CBS Evening News," could be referring to any of the many sexual harassment and misconduct scandals that have plagued the network in the past few years. Charlie Rose, O’Donnell’s former “CBS This Morning” co-host, was fired in 2017 after being accused of decades of sexual harassment. At the time Rose said in a statement he was coming to a "newer and deeper recognition" of the pain his behavior caused, adding, "I have learned a great deal as a result of these events, and I hope others will, too." After the allegations surfaced, O’Donnell commended the women who came forward with accusations against Rose, saying it took “courage.”

Indeed, it did.  No woman should have to put up with this shit.

Police in Philadelphia did a great job under horrendous conditions.  NPR reports:

"Officials in Philadelphia are praising city law enforcement for peacefully resolving a chaotic episode Wednesday night in which a gunman armed with an AR-15 and a handgun fired off more than 100 rounds, hitting six police officers, then barricaded himself inside a residence, creating a more than seven-hour standoff. The suspect is now in custody and all six wounded officers have been released from local hospitals."

Did a great job.  No loss of life.  All six officers hit with gunfire expected to fully recover.

"Police Commissioner Richard Ross, who updated the news media throughout the evening wearing a bulletproof vest, himself negotiated on the phone with the gunman, Maurice Hill, 36, who eventually surrendered to authorities when officers fired tear gas into the building in North Philadelphia. Hill came out of the house with his hands up just after midnight, as live television cameras captured police ordering him to get down. Before his surrender, Hill, who has a lengthy criminal record that includes aggravated assault, robbery and attempted murder charges, expressed to Ross that he did not want to be incarcerated again, mentioning his newborn daughter. The standoff began after officers attempted to execute a search warrant at Hill's rowhouse."

Why was he free in the first place?

"Preservation of life was obviously a concern for all involved, and I think we demonstrated that last night," said Ross. He noted that Hill made a number of "outlandish" demands but did not say what Hill requested. Ross said he is amazed the long impasse did not result in more bloodshed, saying officers involved in the incident deserve credit: "If you feel like you're not appreciated, trust me, you are," Ross said. Sgt. Eric Gripp of the Philadelphia police backed that up on Twitter, writing: "6 officers shot — several more injured. A neighborhood terrified, and many lives forever changed. It seems strange to look back at yesterday as a 'good' day, but yet, here I am."

Certainly, turned out to be a good day.  No loss of life.  All officers expected to recover.  Again, why was this man free in the first place with such a lengthy criminal record?

"I think it's clear this man should not have been on the streets," Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner told reporters."

Why was he, Counselor?  Certainly, a failure in the system that could have turned out much worse than it did.

"Krasner also personally talked to Hill on the phone during the hours-long showdown. "He was in a very animated, excited, dangerous state," Krasner said. "We were doing what we could to bring the volume down." At certain points throughout the night, officials were worried that two officers trapped in the building were being held hostage. "The officers were hostages, in a sense," Krasner said.

"The incident began at about 4:30 p.m. ET Wednesday as the narcotics unit was serving a warrant in the Nicetown-Tioga section of North Philadelphia. Officers had "already entered the premises and got towards the rear in the kitchen area when gunfire erupted. The shooter fired multiple rounds," Ross said. Ross said police did "everything in our power to get him to come out," including offering the shooter a personal assurance that he wouldn't be harmed if he came out. "Normally I wouldn't even take this posture, but I have officers in a very volatile situation," he said. On Thursday, Ross said the tense standoff was "unlike anything I've seen in my 30 years."

Wake up, Commissioner.  That's precisely the 'posture' you and your cohorts should be taking in all police matters.  The Aryan arrogance needs to go.  ... Hear the rumble?

A step in the right direction, but nowhere near far enough.  NPR reports:

"Police officers in California will be required to use lethal force only as a "necessary" response to a threat — not merely as an "objectively reasonable" one — under legislation that Gov. Gavin Newsom signed into law Monday. Under the tighter standard, deadly force is legal only in instances where there are no other options."

Why wasn't that already the standard all across the United States since Day 1?  Why kill if it's not necessary?  That's ludicrous.  Off the wall.

"I'm ready to sign this damn thing," Newsom told the crowd at a ceremony in Sacramento. But before he did so, he invited the family members and loved ones of people who advocated for the measure to stand alongside him. "I would be honored if you would join us up onstage," Newsom said. Surrounded by dozens of people, the governor said he hopes the law, which takes effect in January, will become an example for other states. "As California goes, so goes the rest of the United States of America," he said. "And we are doing something today that stretches the boundaries of possibility and sends a message to people all across this country — that they can do more."

That assumes law enforcement will indeed follow the law, -- and that courts will indeed enforce it.  Good luck.

"The legislation emerged from a push for new rules in response to police killings of unarmed black men such as Stephon Clark, who was shot last year after a police chase that ended in his grandmother's backyard. The officers in that shooting said they believed Clark had a gun; he was found to have been holding a cellphone, and prosecutors said in March that the officers would not face criminal charges."

"The new law reflects a compromise between civil rights advocates who say it will save lives and law enforcement groups that want more clarity on the use of force — but do not want to undermine legal protections for officers."

"Significant change is never easy, but those who voted today looked to their conscience and found the courage to do the right thing for California," Weber said at the time. She added, "I have to thank the families who have lost loved ones to police violence. They have been the energy and the moral compass for making this possible." On Monday, Weber said the measure "basically changes the culture of policing in California."

"Phoenix police officers must now document every instance in which they point a gun at a person -- a decision that the city long considered but now has been made after recent public outcry about aggressive police tactics in Arizona's capital. From now on, Phoenix officers must fill out a form when an officer points a gun, and the incident will be reviewed by a supervisor, city officials announced Monday. "When a gun is pointed at someone, that's a traumatic event," Police Chief Jeri Williams said at a news conference Monday. "I think this is a first step in being ... that accountable, transparent organization that is willing to share what we do and how we do it." The decision comes two months after a tense community meeting where residents vented about a well-publicized incident, in which video showed an officer pull a gun on a family during a shoplifting investigation outside a Phoenix dollar store in May. City officials haven't linked Tuesday's announcement directly to that incident. Two separate panels already had recommended that the police department record each gun draw, including the National Police Foundation this April. The NPF made its recommendation after the city asked it to study a 2018 spike in officer-involved shootings in Phoenix (44 were reported that year, compared to a yearly average of 21 from 2009 to 2017). "Our community has ... said that they want our police department to collect more data around the work they are doing in the field," Mayor Kate Gallego said at Monday's news conference. "We know that what you measure is what you focus on." Requiring officers to document when they point their guns at people is not unique. Cities with similar requirements include Dallas, Baltimore, Cleveland, New Orleans and Chicago, the foundation says."

"A young rape survivor who'd been accused of inducing an abortion and previously sentenced to 30 years in prison was acquitted of all charges by an El Salvador judge Monday at the conclusion of a retrial. Evelyn Hernández, 21, was found innocent after the judge said there was not enough evidence to convict her, according to Hernández's defense team. El Salvador has an extremely strict abortion ban. In April 2016, Hernández was found on the floor of her bathroom drenched in blood. She was taken to a local emergency room in her hometown of El Carmen, roughly 40 kilometers (about 25 miles) east of the capital by her mother and a neighbor. Doctors who examined her saw signs of a delivery but no baby and reported her to the authorities. When local officials arrived at her home five hours later, they found the newborn dead in a septic tank. In 2017, Hernández was convicted and sentenced to 30 years in prison for killing the child. Prosecutors at the time claimed she had induced an abortion and left the baby for dead. She served 33 months of her initial 30-year sentence and was freed last February after her legal team presented an appeal before the Supreme Court and requested her retrial. At the end of the retrial on Friday in Ciudad Delgado, prosecutors asked the court to impose an even longer sentence of 40 years. Hernández had always attested to her innocence, saying that she did not even know she was pregnant until the delivery. Speaking to reporters last month, she said, "Had I know I was pregnant, I would have awaited the baby with pride and joy." Hernandez's case has drawn an international spotlight onto the country's abortion laws, some of the strictest in the world. Terminations are illegal in El Salvador under any circumstance, including when the pregnancy poses a risk to the mother or in cases of rape."

"Democrats slammed Israel Thursday over its decision to block pro-Palestinian Democratic Reps. Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib from entering the country on a trip they had planned to take this weekend to Israel and the West Bank. Many lawmakers warned of the move's potentially negative impact on the U.S.-Israel relationship; called on Israeli officials to reverse Thursday's announcement and return to an earlier position of allowing the pair to enter the country; and accused President Donald Trump of instigating the move. Ahead of the Israeli government’s announcement, Trump tweeted that it would “show great weakness” if the country allowed the two to enter, later tweeting that "Representatives Omar and Tlaib are the face of the Democrat Party, and they HATE Israel!" Omar and Tlaib are the first two Muslim woman elected to Congress."

Trump's action is treasonous.  To say nothing of abject bigotry against women of color.  These two ladies are U.S. Congresswomen.  Had every right to travel to Israel in their official capacity.

"House Speaker Nancy Pelosi called the decision "a sad reversal" and "deeply disappointing." "I pray that the Government of Israel will reverse that denial," she said in a statement, calling the move "a sign of weakness, and beneath the dignity of the great State of Israel."

The Israeli government should reverse this decision and allow them in."

Other House Democrats who lobbied Dermer not to bar Omar and Tlaib from visiting the country included Reps. Brad Schneider, D-Ill., Josh Gottheimer, D-N.J., and Lowey, NBC News confirmed with sources familiar with the conversations. The most influential pro-Israel group, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, said on Twitter that all members of Congress should be able to visit the country.

"Several Republican members of Congress visited Israel last week on the official congressional delegation visit led by Hoyer and McCarthy. Speaking to Fox News on Wednesday, McCarthy said that Omar and Tlaib should have joined the Israel tour last week with other members of Congress. "The one thing that should’ve happened, they should’ve come with their colleagues," McCarthy said. "They should’ve come together where they can have a meeting with Israel, with the Palestinian Authority, with those who were running against [Netanyahu] at the same time."

So what?  They're Congresswomen.  Why would the Israeli leadership not take advantage of any visit, at any time?  Had Netanyahu extended a formal invitation for a meeting, don't think the pressure on both would have been enormous to meet with the Israeli dictator?  Don't think they wouldn't have taken advantage of such an invitation to share their views?  Wake up.

The Washington Post reports:

"Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) said Friday that she will not travel to Israel after the Israeli government initially banned her from entering the country and then reversed course. Israel had relented after Tlaib sent a letter requesting to see her 90-year-old grandmother, who lives in the occupied West Bank, during a four-day trip planned for next week. “In my attempt to visit Palestine, I’ve experienced the same racist treatment that many Palestinian-Americans endure when encountering the Israeli government,” she said in a statement. Tlaib had initially hoped to arrive in Israel on Sunday with Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) on a trip focused mainly on viewing the impact of recent U.S. policies and aid cuts on Palestinians. Israel’s decision to prevent their entry for that trip immediately drew widespread criticism from Democratic lawmakers and American Jewish organizations, including the staunchly pro-Israel lobby AIPAC, with some critics saying it set a new, unfortunate precedent for U.S.-Israel relations. In her statement, Tlaib said the Israeli government had taken advantage of her personal situation and her desire to visit her grandmother, requesting that she pledge not to advocate for a boycott of Israel while she visited. “The Israeli government used my love and desire to see my grandmother to silence me and made my ability to do so contingent upon my signing a letter — reflecting just how undemocratic and afraid they are of the truth my trip would reveal about what is happening in the State of Israel and to Palestinians living under occupation with United States support,” the lawmaker wrote. She said visiting her family under such “oppressive conditions meant to humiliate me would break my grandmother’s heart.”

This entire fiasco has been poorly handled by Trump, Netanyahu, and both Congresswomen.  What should have happened did not.  That is, both Congresswomen, along with the other two members of the 'Squad' who did not plan on coming, should have sought a meeting with Netanyahu first to discuss their differences before proceeding on to the rest of their business.  Cleared the air with the Israeli Prime Minister who is clearly in the pocket of our fuhrer, the Trump nazi.

Had such a meeting with the Israeli Prime Minister been planned, might have prevented what wound up happening including the following:

Jesus Christ.  That's bullshit.  Both women have a viewpoint the Israeli leadership needs to hear.  What are the Israelis so afraid of?  The truth?  The same is true of Trump.  Had our fuhrer been any other president, he would have long since invited both Congresswomen, and the two other members of the 'Squad,' to the Oval Office to make their case.  Scheduled sufficient time to do so properly.  Trump, just like Netanyahu, has no regard, no interest in the truth.  Clearly, the truth is unacceptable, doesn't meet their needs.  Precisely, why both countries are failing.  Time to act before too late.  The American public will finally wake up.  When that happens, financial and military support from the U.S. will dry up.  At that time, all bets are off.

Exactly, right.  The true colors of the Israeli aggressor are becoming clearer and clearer.  Trump's action is traitorous.  These two Congresswomen are American citizens, duly elected representatives of their districts.

About time.  What took so long?  Abuse of the Palestinians by the Israeli aggressor has been an ongoing issue for decades.

"The dispute has fractured bipartisan support for Israel and moved debates over it into partisan space more typically home to issues such as abortion, gun control and immigration."

Jesus Christ.  Wake up, Madam Speaker.  The only viable solution is a formal vote to launch an impeachment investigation.  Time for Democrats to place principle ahead of partisan interests.

You think?  The number one problem in this entire fiasco is not the Israeli aggressor.  It's the Trump nazi.  Democrats can easily force the Israeli aggressor issue by cutting off all funding.  Since funding originates in the House, doing so is indeed possible.  Dealing with Trump is far more difficult.  Especially, with the Senate run and owned by Republican nazis.  Precisely, why a formal vote on launching an impeachment investigation is so necessary.  Tie the 'president' up the rest of his term defending himself in the House.  Would at least slow him down.  As more and more is revealed during the investigation, pressure on Republicans would become enormous.

"This will no doubt have an impact on the debate, on attitudes toward Israel, and on the growing concerns about Israel's actions under Netanyahu's right-wing leadership," said  Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.), co-chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus. "It's too early to come to conclusions as to where this debate will take us, but certainly aid is an issue that will be discussed."

About time.  Things have to change.  If not, all bets are off.

Time for change.  Before too late.  The United States has great power and influence.  Can and should pressure the Israeli aggressor to viably settle the Palestinian issue.  If not, the American public will eventually wake up.  See the aggressor precisely for what it is.  At that time, funding will be cut off.  On its own and without American support, all bets are off.

Of the four, though, the largest was the man who grabbed the banners — a man who was presumably a Trump supporter and who remained at the rally."

"These people are mentally ill and nobody talks about that. But these are mentally ill people, and people have to start thinking about it. I think we have to start building institutions again because, you know, if you look at the '60s and '70s, so many of these institutions were closed...But a lot of our conversation has to do with the fact that we have to open up institutions. We can't let these people be on the streets."

Those institutions were closed for damned good reason.  They were hell holes that accomplished no good.  Abused patients.  Trump is too hopelessly ignorant to understand this.  Stupidly seeks overly simplistic solutions to enormously difficult problems.  The mark of an idiot.

"The president reiterated that thought at his rally hours later, insisting the U.S. "will be taking mentally deranged and dangerous people off of the streets." He didn't say exactly how that might happen."

We don't have those institutions anymore and people can't get proper care."

The National Alliance on Mental Illness estimates that roughly one in five adults in the U.S., or more than 46 million people, "experiences mental illness in a given year."

One of the few things Republicans are doing right is their refusal to pass gun control.  Forget?  Last best defense against corrupt, abusive, out of control government is indeed the Second Amendment.  CNN News reports:

"Two weeks after two mass shootings occurred in less than 24 hours, Congress and the White House have not moved closer to passing any kind of gun legislation to address what many are calling a crisis, and some Republican senators, including Sen. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, don't think any new gun legislation is likely to pass. Johnson expressed skepticism about any of the legislation options that have been floated in the past two weeks, including so-called red flag laws -- or rules that would allow officials to temporarily remove guns from people in crisis through a court order -- as well as strengthening background checks or mandatory gun buyback programs. "All I can tell you is what I hear in Wisconsin. The debate really hasn't changed much at all," Johnson said. "People still ask the same questions. OK, if you propose some kind of gun legislation, first of all, how would that have prevented these tragedies in the past? How would they prevent them in the future?" Johnson referred to mandatory buyback programs as "compensated confiscation" and said that all of the options that have been proposed are "just a further infringement on second amendment rights." "I realize the clamor. I realize the polling, but the polling I don't think accurately assesses people's knowledge of what we're talking about here," he said. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, which would not make red flag checks federal law, but would instead incentivize states to implement those kind of laws through a grant program, Johnson said, "I don't anticipate, that we're going to pass any federal red flag law, I think all Sen. Graham is talking about is a grant program." Red flag laws refer to extreme risk protection order laws, which allow the temporary removal of guns from people deemed at high risk of harming themselves or others through a court order. Seventeen states and the District of Columbia have passed some type of these laws, and the details vary from state to state. "If we have that discussion, if we're going to offer grants to states to pass red flag laws, we ought to attach to those grants very strict guidelines in terms of due process," Johnson said."

The brief, submitted by Solicitor General Noel J. Francisco and other Department of Justice attorneys, argues that Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibits employment discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex and national origin, “does not bar discrimination because of transgender status.” “In 1964, the ordinary public meaning of ‘sex’ was biological sex. It did not encompass transgender status,” the brief states. “In the particular context of Title VII — legislation originally designed to eliminate employment discrimination against racial and other minorities — it was especially clear that the prohibition on discrimination because of ‘sex’ referred to unequal treatment of men and women in the workplace.” If the Supreme Court sides with the Trump administration, it will be overturning a decision by the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, which sided with Stephens in March 2018. “Discrimination against employees, either because of their failure to conform to sex stereotypes or their transgender and transitioning status, is illegal under Title VII,” Judge Karen Nelson Moore wrote in the 6th Circuit’s decision. “The unrefuted facts show that the Funeral Home fired Stephens because she refused to abide by her employer’s stereotypical conception of her sex." In the 21-page article, an unnamed former U.S. official described Pompeo as being "among the most sycophantic and obsequious people around Trump." An unnamed former U.S. ambassador went further, calling Pompeo a "heat-seeking missile for Trump's ass."

"Despite those criticisms, Pompeo told "CBS This Morning" co-host Gayle King that he is simply doing his duty as secretary. "I find the language offensive, and I find the statement ludicrous. "He cares deeply about America, he wants to see the American people secure, he wants to grow our economy, he wants better lives for them," said Pompeo."

"The Trump administration on Wednesday unveiled a sweeping plan to detain migrant families and children for longer periods of time than currently allowed, touting a final regulation that would overhaul the immigration detention system in the U.S. and scrap a longstanding court settlement. For more than two decades, the court settlement known as the Flores Agreement has governed the care of migrant children in U.S. custody. The 1997 agreement sets sweeping standards for the treatment of unaccompanied migrant children, from housing to medical care, as well as education, nutrition and hygiene. In more recent rulings, the federal judge overseeing the settlement has also effectively prohibited the government from detaining for more than 20 days families apprehended with children. Under the administration's rule, which will be published in the Federal Register Friday and would go into effect 60 days later, there would not be a limit to the number of days families and children could be detained. Acting Homeland Security Secretary Kevin McAleenan said in a briefing Wednesday that there is "no intent" to hold families for "a very long time." He suggested that if cases involving detained families could be adjudicated at the same pace they were in 2015, they'd be in custody for an average of about 50 days. Peter Schey, the lead attorney for the team representing thousands of unaccompanied migrant children in the Flores case, said the terms of the Flores Agreement prohibit the government from implementing rules that undermine it. The exact same messaging, other than IP addresses, is the same on the wink
and t15 FTP servers. This hacking attack apparently occurred the day
after Wells Fargo closed two accounts because I publicly accused them of
criminal activity.  Your company needs to look into this matter. Get these
FTP servers up and running again.  A criminal complaint will be filed with
the U.S. Attorney regarding all the ongoing criminal activity by Wells
Fargo, now extended to hacking and undue interference with the webhosts.

Welcome.   Liberty In Peril has been relaunched at a new URL:
libertyinperil.com. This is a new commercial site hosted in an overseas
country, which unlike our own, does value free speech, Net security,
privacy, equally importantly, despises hackers.  Banks too big to fail
should not have the ability to shut down ftp servers on four Liberty In
Peril websites, making upload impossible.  -- Simply, because they don't
want the truth of their criminal activity reported to the public.

Should this site not be kept up, running, and fully operational, the
libertyinperil.com domain will be quickly moved to a different host
despite cost and hassle.  No more bullsh-t.  Criminal complaints will be
prepared and filed against Amanda Wright, Lynn Massey, and the equally
criminal bastards in the Wells Fargo corporate management suite for
egregious deceptive trade practices.

Email notification of local businesses of these practices, has and will,
continue unabated until Wells Fargo accepts responsibility, ceases these
practices, and finally makes it right.  During the last several weeks
after the ftp servers were hacked, a blizzard of these emails was sent to
local businesses to keep intense pressure on the criminal bastards at
Wells Fargo.  Copies of these emails were sent to bank officials.  They
have been posted in this publication. ... We're already up to Salvo 74, --
and counting.

In addition, all new Newsletter Editions will feature an
available abbreviated version, smart phone friendly, that can be accessed
by clicking on the icon. Will supplement the regular format of this
publication.  This is being done because so many of you access this
publication with smart phones and other devices with small screens.

This site has finally been fully uploaded.  All links appear to be
properly working.  Typos in the rush to get material up have also been
corrected.  There will be a few additional changes to be made as time
allows.  Including, again, a smart phone-friendly abbreviated version of
each future Newsletter Edition starting with v434 that will be available
in addition to the regular edition.

Hopefully, now, I can finally get back to the business of this
publication, that is exposure of corrupt, abusive, inept, clueless
government lackeys beholden to their corporate masters, rather than
dealing with recalcitrant webhosts.  We'll see.  With the
libertyinperil.com domain, however, any necessary changes in webhosts will
be easy to make since all links won't have to be changed or deactivated.

The pressure on Wells Fargo will continue unabated.  Should they further
interfere with operation of this publication, it will simply provide
additional fodder for criminal complaints to be filed against them.

On 9-22-15, Kingsland Wells Fargo Store Manager Amanda Wright forced
closure of two accounts because for nearly three years this writer has
publicly accused her, her predecessor Lynn Massey, and the Wells Fargo
corporate management suite of engaging in criminal deceptive trade
practices, as well as pressuring, unduly interfering and/or bribing
webhosts to take these websites down.

Apparently, they have successfully managed to unduly influence and/or
bribe the federal Consumer Financial 'Protection' Bureau and Texas
Attorney General Consumer Protection Division as well.  Forget?  The bank
is considered too big to fail.  Considers itself government.

For all practical purposes, that's perversely true.  They have money and
resources to buy not only their human chattel, but their bought and paid
for government lackeys. Be interesting to see whether or not the U.S.
Attorney is untouchable, or sadly, similarly capable of being bought.

Immediately after closure of these accounts, the three operational Liberty
In Peril FTP servers were hacked.  What that means is that while all three
sites remained operational and accessible to readers, new material could
not be uploaded. This continues to date.

Worse, 'free' accounts on all three 'free' webhosts conveniently no longer
provide technical control panel support.  Clearly, they don't want to know
there are problems. Have managed, however, to find other ways to contact
webhost management and have done precisely that.

Will take a criminal investigation to determine who hacked the sites,
however.  Most likely, Wells Fargo had a hand in it.  Certainly, have the
resources.  Highly, unlikely the Llano County Sheriff's Office was
involved.  Hard to believe they would be that stupid.  The Bank, however,
has nothing to lose. Owns its government lackeys.  The Sheriff and his
outrageously corrupt and abusive goons, however, can expect further

The effort to expose Wells Fargo egregious deceptive trade practices continues.  Several years ago to determinedly apply renewed pressure on our truly worthless, egregiously self-serving Texas Attorney General, now Governor, an excoriating email was sent to the bastard. Copies of which were also passed on to both offending Wells Fargo officers. A copy was also sent to the Davis campaign and others at the time.

Voters did have a right to know as Attorney General, the GOP candidate for Governor apparently selectively investigated, or not, bona fide complaints filed by citizens against banks too big to fail.  Possibly, Wells Fargo could have lined his pockets in some fashion.  That has yet to be determined.

The bastard and his office, no matter what, failed to respond to the complaint originally snail mailed several years ago.  This material, figuratively targeting Wells Fargo and the governor 'wannabe' now Governor, had been posted and can be found by scrolling all the way down and clicking on the links well below.  ... Governor?  Wells Fargo bribe you to look the other way?

Will continue to do all I can to publicly expose this to all, both in this publication and elsewhere.  Have done precisely that with the following email sent to Matt Turner, Matt Turner Video Services, Marble Falls, TX.  A copy of it was also sent to Wells Fargo officer Amanda Wright.  She has, indeed, been promoted  branch manager. This young woman has indeed been rewarded by the Wells Fargo corporate management suite for engaging in criminal deceptive trade practices and her undying loyalty to her corporate masters. The name of this publication was changed some fifteen years ago from The Llano Ledger to Liberty In Peril.  The reason?  Simple.  Cowardly failure of this community to stand up to tyranny that has only exponentially worsened the last decade and a half.  Clearly, demonstrated as well by the cowardly failure of businesses to financially support this publication.  Either through advertising or other financial support.  Too afraid doing so would enrage the bastards who run and own this hellhole County.

-- Despite the fact these businesses were, and are, being egregiously f--ked by these very same bastards. Tough, isn't it?  Impossible to entertain any sympathy for cowardice, however.  Especially in view of the fact this writer has placed himself in great jeopardy taking on these corrupt, abusive, inept criminal bastards.  Alone.

Exactly, why you see no investigative material highly critical of these sons of bitches in other local rags.  Sadly, cowardly, all advertising income immediately dries up.  Consequently, the bastards continue their criminal chicanery with impunity.  On a rampage.  Thus, you get what you truly deserve.  Always.  Precisely, why this earlier name change to Liberty In Peril remains appropriate.  -- Despite the fact this writer has not yet left the area.  Ten years after originally intending to do so.  Thirty years in this goddamned godforsaken hellhole.

This writer, then and now, remains primarily interested in state, federal, and international issues.  Another reason for this publication name change.  Despite the fact I stupidly cluelessly remain here, local issues must be addressed.  Can't be ignored.  That's where you come in dear readers.  Have the courage to inform this writer of local abuse, corruption, ineptness you are aware of, have personally experienced.

... Information these criminal bastards do all they can to conceal, cover up.  Otherwise, how can they effectively sustain the charade and intended result?  Loot confiscation through a boot heel on the throat of the citizenry.

The only way, short of an unwanted dreaded second American revolution, to force badly-needed change is to expose all this to the light of day.  These bastards are beginning to understand they have a problem.  No question, the growing rage of those they've abused, looted, egregiously f--ked.  It's time to stand up.  Expose this corruption to glaring sunlight.  Otherwise, as fools, cowards, you will remain under their thumb.  From the loftiest business owner to those on the bottom of the food chain.  Wake up.  Grow a pair.

Then, you gallingly complain about the oppression as you tolerate egregious theft of your labor. Not only by your corporate masters, but their bought and paid for government lackeys.  Too cowardly to stand up, allow disclosure of your identity when you rightfully complain to this publication of being mercilessly f--ked. Some of you falsely arrested, criminally assaulted, bogusly fined for 'offenses' you did not commit.  To line County coffers.  Keep the peasants in line and under control.  A fascist police-state. Nazi America.

Again, yet another reason why this publication is called Liberty In Peril.  Most galling? Nothing changes if you fail to step up and challenge corrupt, abusive, inept authority.  Too afraid, cowardly compliant to let the bastards know who you are.  Did it ever occur to the cowards out there if the identity of the accuser is kept under wraps the bastards will falsely claim it's all made up by this publication?  Thus, conveniently killing all credibility. Wake up.

Click herefor a most interesting conversation between JP2 Linda Ballard and LCRA Communications Supervisor Mitch Hibbs who at the time was investigating a complaint made by the Henderson family against the 'judge.'  The recording had been made by Hibbs and provided by Phyllis Henderson who had gotten it through an open records request.   During the course of the recording you will hear the 'judge' make a terroristic threat against the Henderson family which the investigator laughingly shrugged off as a joke.

Seems former LCRA Ranger Lance Bilski, stepson of Llano County Sheriff Bill Blackburn, had been harassing the Henderson family regarding their tire business, Henderson Tire.  Worse? There are unsubstantiated allegations, that although very much attached, Bilski may have indeed engaged in improprieties, that is, egregiously unprofessional conduct relevant to the Henderson complaint.  All this had been covered in Newsletter Text V346.
