Brother dearest.  ... Been awhile, hasn't it, Bro?  A little antsy?  Wondering when the next shoe is about to fall, that is, when you'll be fully exposed for the thieving son of a bitch you truly are?  Patience.  All in good time, good buddy.  When I'm damned good and ready.  Timing just right.  After all, a son of a bitch who's stolen his father's estate needs to be fully exposed publicly for whom and what he is, don't you think?  Indeed, a public service for your neighbors, professional associates, family, and friends, etc..

Conveniently, forget?  Others need to protect themselves against a fraud who masquerades as both a teacher and a counselor, no?  -- How the hell did you ever pass an MMPI some forty years ago to get hired?  You're not stable.  Have not been.  ... Must have really been pissed off at the old man to rip off an estate, no?  How much did you steal while he was alive and supposedly under your care?

How much did you bribe law enforcement to ignore a complaint I filed with them years before the old man died?  How much did you bribe the prosecutor to ignore a complaint filed with her several years ago?  How much?  Use the old man's money to bribe the bitch?  Her cohorts?  Your law enforcement shysters?  While there may indeed be no justice from a corrupt system, fortunately, I do have a way to publicly expose you for the goddamned thieving son of a bitch you truly are.

... Unlike our grandmother who scrubbed floors on her hands and knees during the Depression for peanuts, only to have what little she had stolen by her son, our uncle, another goddamned thieving son of a bitch just like you.  Remember how, surprise, surprise, there was no life insurance when our grandfather died?  Despite the fact our grandmother gave her thieving bastard son premium money year after goddamned year?  Only, as the thieving son of a bitch he truly was, to have pocketed it.  Again, just like you.

Remember when he booted her out of the house she had bought him when he had had enough of her?  -- Despite the fact he had lied and promised she could stay the rest of her life?  She had to climb two flights of stairs on an ulcerated leg to get to a bathroom he had never built for her at ground level as falsely promised.   Nothing ever happened to the thieving son of a bitch as far as justice was concerned.  Worse, he was never exposed publicly for the thieving son of a bitch he truly was.

Will be different for you, Bro.  While you've bought off authorities, you will be publicly exposed.  In great detail.  In good time.  When I'm damned good and ready.  When exposure will do the maximum figurative damage to your goddamned sordid reputation.  -- Just the truth, brother dearest, however.  Just the truth.

Irony of ironies?  When the thieving son of a bitch died, and our mother was finally informed he had passed, she cried for her brother, -- the bastard thief who stole from her mother.  Sad, isn't it?  Too bad she's not still alive to see you publicly exposed for the goddamned thieving son of a bitch you, yourself, truly are.  As was he.  Not in a court of law you've bought off, however.  Right here.

In good time.  Again, when I'm damned good and ready.  Employing the very same tactics used against Amanda Wright of Wells Fargo.  -- On steroids, however, since all dirty family laundry will be aired.  All of it.  No threat.  A promise.  Emails sent to your neighbors, friends, professional associates, businesses you deal with.  Although an enormous amount of work, all doable courtesy of the Internet.  Despite being some 1,800 miles away.  -- Small world, isn't it, Bro?  Enjoy the stolen loot, you son of a bitch.  Forget?  It's all you have.

Brother dearest.  Save all the check stubs from the old man's accounts?  Fraudulently sign any of them yourself?  Think this material couldn't be obtained from the banks either through discovery or a criminal investigation?  Still own the house on Condict Rd.?   Any other properties besides this one and the old man's you stole with the help of your shyster bastard? Be interesting to see how far your assets extend and where.  Think all that information isn't accessible?  That I won't determinedly obtain it?

That not only an extensive Internet search will be conducted that will likely take months to complete?  But an extensive background check as well?  Think the Catholic high school you attended shouldn't be informed of the thievery of one of its graduates?  Think the clerics there would be appalled at their failure to teach you right from wrong?  How about both universities?  Think neighbors in the old man's neighborhood won't be informed of your deception?  Think they don't have a right to know?

Ever follow the advice of Dr. Bert Wiser, psychological statistics professor at MSU?  That is, get treatment for your achingly debilitating instability?  Is that why you wound up looting the old man?  Or, is it simply a convenient excuse you'll use to defend the indefensible?  Think this will end any time soon?  That is, public exposure of you as a thieving son of a bitch?  We're just getting started, Bro.  Just getting started.

Don't like it?  Tough shit.  Sue me you thieving son of a bitch.  Would use discovery to learn and post on this website all there is to know about you, your activities, predilections, business 'deals,' as well as all your financial transactions, etc..  All of it.  Would certainly avoid the expense of an extensive background check on you, thieving brother dearest.

Even if you were successful in court, there is nothing for you to take, this remains, as well, a homesteading state where minimal assets are protected anyway.  This site is hosted in an overseas country that doesn't particularly like government intrusion, remains not prone to cooperate.  Besides, can always upload to another webhost in still yet another country.  The possibilities are endless, Bro.  Just takes willingness, effort, unshakable determination.

Even if I lost it all would be more than worth it to expose you for the goddamned thieving son of a bitch you truly are.  Even if you bribed a goddamned nazi 'judge' to remove posted material, would not cooperate and be more than willing to rot in jail.  Would certainly keep reposting it all no matter the cost and/or personal consequences every time it was taken down.  Forget, you thieving son of a bitch?  I never ever give up.

Since all I seek is your exposure for the thief you truly are, would all be worth it.  For the sake of principle.  All the work, financial cost, as well as the time I am about to dedicate to this effort, you deceptive, unstable, sick, thieving son of a bitch.  Unlike you, I live on principle and have absolutely nothing to lose.  You do.  Will certainly take great pleasure and satisfaction in doing all I can to publicly expose you for whom and what you are.

To say nothing of placing enormous pressure on prosecutors you and your equally corrupt shyster son of a bitch apparently bribed.  Don't like it?  Again, tough shit. Chew harder.  The public needs to know to protect itself.  From you and your shyster bastard.  People who live and travel in your circles as well.  Including his.  As a thief, you and he can't be trusted by anyone.  You'll determinedly f--k them.

More than willing to provide this truly public service.  People certainly need to know whom and what you are.  What you have sadly become.  You certainly weren't brought up to be a thieving son of a bitch.  What happened?  Where did you lose yourself, Bro?  -- Never mind.  ... Truly doesn't matter.  Only your exposure.

TC 4-22-16

Hey, Bro?  Remember me?  How soon they conveniently forget.  ... Half asleep? -- Out to lunch?  ... In your own perverse little world?  That of a criminal?  Wake up.  Conveniently, gutlessly forget?  Insanely believe you're someway, somehow off the hook?  Think again.  We're not done.  You remain a thief who will be exposed for whom and what your are.  What you certainly have become.  No question about that.  Patience, you thieving son of a bitch.  Exposure is coming.  Promise.

Think I don't have time?  Truly believe the ongoing Presidential fiasco ends no matter who wins?  The murderous decay in law enforcement gets resolved any time soon?  Criminal Wells Fargo employees from local Kingsland bank manager Amanda S. Wright right up to and including CEO John Stumpf get prosecuted in the near future despite egregious criminal activity?  Wouldn't hold my breath, would you?

Think I don't have time to handle all this and your public exposure for the estate-stealing criminal son of a bitch you've truly become?  How could you steal from the old bastard, you incredibly sad sack of shit?  Certainly weren't brought up to be a thief.  What happened to you?  Where'd you lose yourself?

No question, 2017 will be a most remarkable, defining year for you, Bro.  Public exposure for the thieving piece of shit you've sadly become.  It's on the way. Promise.  Hope you sue.  Nothing for you to take.  Tough, isn't it?  Certainly, makes me judgment proof.  Will certainly, as well, take advantage of discovery.  Publish every detail I can get my hands on.  No matter the consequences.  Only consideration?  Prime directive?  Your exposure for whom and what you are.

Readers?  This not-so-brotherly piece of shit stole from our father.  Manipulated the old man to line his pockets.  Just like our uncle on my mother's side of the family did to my grandmother.  Runs in the family.  Our family.   ... Right, Bro?  This game now gets played my way, -- not yours, you son of a bitch.  That is, no more U.S. Mail tag.

Anything sent by mail will be refused, returned unopened.  Want contact?  Email.  libertyinperil@riseup.net.  Quick.  Easy.  Better yet?  A digital record.  Permanent.  Easily accessible.  Easily uploaded to this site when and if it becomes necessary.  The shyster bastard you hired to steal the estate shouldn't expect escape, either, from public exposure as the thieving piece of shit he, like you, truly both are.  Unscrupulous thieves.

Sincerely hope that piece of crap sues as well.  Nothing to take.  Discovery again would be published no matter the personal cost.  Nothing quite like public exposure, is there?  Especially, when it is nothing but the truth and there is absolutely nothing to lose exposing two pieces of criminal shit for whom and what they are.  Two pieces of gutless human excrement who looted an old man.  ... Right, Bro?

There is no better disinfectant than sunlight, readers.  Glaring sunlight.  Dazzling brilliance.  Amazing how the roaches run for cover.  Equally pointedly, how vermin on two legs manage to so easily prey on the elderly courtesy of the out of control fascist police-state we now live in.  While there'll never be any justice vis a vis this theft, there will be exposure to the brilliant light of day for both criminal perpetrators.  Count on it, you not-so-brotherly criminal son of a bitch.

TC 10-7-16

Hey, Bro?  Hear of Old Sturbridge Village?  Haven't?  ... Not lying, are you, you thieving son of a bitch?  You and your long-term companion EC conspire, bequeath some of the old man's loot to this museum?  An achingly stingy gift of $250-$499, -- considering the size of the estate?  The CEO and Board have any idea you stole it?  Think they'd care?  -- Just getting started, dearest, dearest Bro.  ... Delusionally believe I haven't more than enough time, resources, determination to expose you for the thieving piece of crap you truly are?  ... Under $500 back in 2013?  Remarkably parsimonious with stolen money aren't you?   What does it feel like to have gutlessly ripped off an incompetent old man?  -- Dear old Dad.  Certainly, look forward to digging much deeper into how you and your shyster lawyer managed to bamboozle and loot the old bastard.  Back in the day, certainly wouldn't have fallen for your bullshit.  Would have kicked your worthless, thieving ass out the door.  Intend to expose it to the light of day.  Indeed, a public service. Seatbelts on, you thieving son of a bitch. Tally ho!

TC 3-24-17

... Brief aside, dear readers, for a most exceptional reason.  -- Although infrequent, pressing ongoing personal business must come first on rare occasion.  Hope you agree, moreover, find it entertaining, -- as this writer did crafting what follows.  Principle trumps all.  Remains prime mover, prime directive no matter what.

This pressing issue involves a family thief. A heartless predator preying on the elderly who must be held accountable, exposed to the light of day.  Especially, since authorities failed to do their job.  The following is part of that continuing effort to expose this piece of shit for whom and what he is:

Hey, Bro?  Guess what?  Me, again.  Most determined pain in the ass.  Miss me?  An inconvenient, nagging hemorrhoid that simply won't go away no matter what.  -- A pile with a smile that takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'.

... Delusionally think this most persistent nemesis of yours conveniently disappeared to parts unknown, vanished in thin air? To give a turd a break?  Wake up.  Not a chance, you thieving son of a bitch.  ... When you insanely believe this writer's gone and you're finally in the clear, guess what, here I am, right in your face.

Despite what's going on across our formerly great country, always have more than enough time for personal business.  That is, exposing you, Bro, to the glaring light of day.  A pathetically greedy predator.  Your target, who else, the elderly.  Most defenseless, vulnerable, an easy fleece.  -- Thought you'd steal from the surly old curmudgeon with impunity, no consequences?

Successfully escape accountability? Avoid detection, all responsibility?  Blatant theft of an old man's estate?  A little help from a bought and paid for hopelessly greedy unprincipled shyster?  Supposed cake walk due to 1800 miles separation?  No one to hold you accountable?  Your feet to the fire?  What could you possibly been thinking?

You've read this publication before.  Know precisely who and what I am, what I do.  Never give up.  Never say die.  Ignore all obstacles.  Know full well Liberty In Peril modus operandi remains as relentlessly ferocious, blindingly intense as ever.

No punches pulled.  No slack.  No personal consideration.  Certainly, not for a gutless son of a bitch, no more than a thieving predator.  Looted target, guess who, dear old dad.  Pitiful.  Delusionally believe you had the booty coming?  An entitlement?  For having had to put up with his shit all those years?  Wake up.

Hear of Historic Deerfield?  Of course, you have, you lying son of a bitch.  Forget?  You're one of their not-so-generous 'benefactors.'  ... With all the money stolen from our father's estate, only bequeath them a piss poor $40 bucks?

Unbelievable.  An achingly tight, cheap, thieving, worthless piece of duplicitous crap.  ... Write-off?  Negligible.  ... Feather in the cap? How?  Delusionally believe your treachery would never see the light of day? What planet do you live on?

Board of Trustees Chair Anne K. Groves know full well you looted the estate?  How about President Philip Zea?  Think both don't have a right to know?  How about Anne Lanning, Vice President For Museum Affairs?  To say nothing of Susan Martinelli, Vice President For Business Affairs?

These officials are entitled to know precisely whom they're doing business with.  A thief.  Gutless phony.  Blow-hard fraud.  Hoity-toity dandy.  Worse?  An unprincipled thief who stole from his father.  ... Glaring light of day sucks, doesn't it, Bro?  No escaping the unvarnished truth, this most bitter reality.  Not a chance.

Saddest of all?  Back in the day, Hell would have frozen over before anyone would have have been able to rip off the craggy old bastard.  Remember quite well how intent, determined he was not to be fleeced late in life by a sick son of a bitch like you.

A leech.  Ironic, isn't it?  Gutless rip off of an old man who couldn't adequately handle his affairs any longer.  How do you sleep nights?

Fraud runs in the family, clearly.  History repeating itself.  Right in the footsteps of our grandmother's son, who callously ripped off his mother decades ago.  Again, another achingly pathetic piece of human excrement.  Just like you.  Intend to lay it bare.  Methodically.  Painstakingly. In great detail.  Living, breathing color.

For all to see.  A public service.  Exposure of the criminal piece of human excrement you truly are.  For sustained public review.  A goddamned thief.  Pissed? Chagrined?  Nonplused?  Tough shit.  Sue.  Would certainly immediately post all discovery no matter the consequences.

All snail mail will be returned unopened.  No phone tag.  Got something to say? Email.  Say it right here.  On this website.  In public.  For the world to see.  Will be posted in its entirety.  No editing.  Unlike you, this writer doesn't lie, cheat, steal.  Honors his word.  Intend to expose you precisely for whom and what you are.

Duplicitous predator who preyed on his own father.  Blinding exposure to benefit the community.  Have nothing to lose providing this public service, but you do.  No better disinfectant than sunshine.

.. Think the old bastard not spinning in his grave?  -- Old lady not doing the same?  One thing for certain.  Neither brought you up to be a goddamned thief.  Yet, here we are.  ... Until next time, Tally Ho!

TC 7-14-17

While the business and church communities stood tall during the recent Kingsland flood catastrophe, there was one glaring exception.  On 10-17-18, the Antlers Coffee Shop closed due to storm-related failure of the Kingsland water system.  Patrons, however, are routinely allowed to get online outside even when the shop is closed.

A long-term coffee shop customer entered the hotel lobby to ask the desk clerk whether wifi was still up and running after the catastrophe.  She said it was and told the patron he could get online inside the closed shop.  She then asked him to have another regular customer who had just arrived outside to come in and get out of the cold as well.

Antlers co-proprietor Rick apparently quickly got wind of both customers, made quite a jackass of himself emulating the petulant narcissist currently occupying the Oval Office.  Aggressive stupidity at a time the Kingsland business community is indeed suffering, can least afford it.  Further proof positive of the old adage 'can fix ignorant, can't fix stupid.'

Why would, why should both customers put up with this?  Think this hasn't happened to others?

The following is a totally unnecessary tragedy that could have been prevented.  ABC News reports:

"An Illinois state trooper died in the line of duty on Thursday when a semitrailer slammed into her during a highway traffic stop. Brooke Jones-Story, 34, was on the shoulder of U.S. Highway 20 in northern Illinois at around 12:20 p.m. when a semitrailer veered off the roadway, striking the officer, her squad car and the commercial tractor-trailer she was inspecting at the time, state police said. The impact of the crash caused both trucks to burst into flames, covering the surrounding area with thick clouds of dark gray smoke, according to social media video. Brendan Kelly, acting director of Illinois State Police, said she was a 12-year veteran of the force and the wife of a retired Illinois State Police officer. He described her death as "tragic and untimely."

"Today, trooper Jones-Story paid the ultimate sacrifice while protecting and serving the citizens of Illinois," Kelly said at a press conference Thursday. "The men and women of this department -- especially the troopers and colleagues of trooper Jones-Story -- are sad, hurting and they're angry." "These troopers are just doing their jobs and trying to protect everyone. How many times does this have to happen? How many more have to be hurt or killed?" he asked, noting the uptick in similar officer-involved crashes over the last few months. At least 15 troopers have been involved in similar roadside crashes throughout the state this year, according to Kelly. Another state trooper was hit and killed outside his squad car in January."

These deaths are avoidable:

“When is enough enough?” Kelly said Thursday. “When are more people going to start giving a damn and doing the right thing?” Jones-Story's death comes just days after Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker vowed to strengthen efforts to enforce Scott's Law. "Our state troopers do incredible work keeping the public safe, and it is devastating to the entire state that another has been killed on the side of a highway," Pritzker said in a statement. "I cannot stress strongly enough -- when you see an emergency vehicle on the side of the road, change lanes or slow down. It’s the law, and it’s the only decent thing to do." Jones-Story leaves behind her husband, her parents, two step-children, a step-grandchild, a sister and her farm animals and dogs "who she loved dearly," Kelly said."

A problem all across the country.  Time to wake up.

The following email exchange with the corporate management suite of Iview US, regarding a highly defective Win 10 two-in-one tablet, is posted as a public service.  This complete document can be found by clicking here.

... Hey, Sheriff?  Is it true Llano County Attorney Becky Lange has advised you to stay out of the "Berardi Property Rights Denial-Damage To Pace Arrow-Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764" fiasco?  That right, Bill?  Isn't that obstruction of justice?  Also true your deputies have advised the Bolens to accept the status quo and not force the no-trespassing issue with Greene?  If so, isn't that also obstruction and official oppression?  When will you do your job, Bill?  As an elected official, you answer to the public, forget?  -- No honor?  ... No honor at all?  If the foregoing allegations are indeed true, didn't you swear an oath to uphold the law and Constitution?  Why aren't you doing so?  No guts?

Your deputy has been accused of abusing authority.  What action have you taken other than ignore the complaint?  Why aren't both Rodriguez and the County Attorney under criminal investigation?  The County Attorney appears to be obstructing justice, accepting the word of Greene in lieu of two surveyor companies who strongly assert otherwise.  Both the County Attorney and District Attorney have ignored complaints.  Par for the course in Llano County, isn't it?  Failed to do their jobs.  No surprise there, right, Bill?  Both receiving 'special consideration' up to and/or including a bribe from Greene?  Regardless, clearly, no justice in Nazi Llano County.  Bottom line?  Desperate need for an outside criminal investigation.  Conveniently, forget?  This County is ruled by men, certainly not rule of law and the United States Constitution.

Precisely, why there is desperate need for a new federal agency whose sole function would be to investigate, arrest, charge, and prosecute criminal law enforcement, prosecutors, and judges in a special court whose only mandate would be to adjudicate such cases.  Total independence.  Until that happens, the criminal bastards who falsely believe they run and own this hell hole County will continue to do as they please.

Tim Chorney, Publisher
Liberty In Peril

Some salient quotes occurring later on in this edition vis a vis unfinished business County officials continue to ignore:

... "How can the law enforcement community be trusted?  No foreign power, no terrorist organization, not even the criminal element presents a greater threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties than the criminal jackbooted bastards in law enforcement.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Madam County Attorney?  "Sonny Boy?"

These are extremely dangerous times for our formerly great country.  ... Hear the rumble?  An unwanted dreaded second American revolution catastrophically looming.  -- As our legislators and other government officials figuratively 'fiddle while Rome burns.'

Not good enough.  Nowhere near.  Short of an unwanted dreaded second American revolution, only one way for these atrocities to end.  Time for a new federal agency whose sole function would be to investigate, arrest, charge, prosecute corrupt, abusive, criminal officers, prosecutors, and judges in a special court whose sole function would be to adjudicate such cases.  Total independence.

Local  and state authorities are egregiously incapable of handling these cases. Tend to protect their own.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Goes with the territory, doesn't it, Bill?  Precisely, why there is no faith or trust in your criminal jackbooted bastards.  Local authorities here in Nazi Llano County have their heads figuratively, securely lodged so far up their clueless ass their eyeballs are turning inside out.  Protect and coddle your clueless, out of control officers.  Imagine that.

Unadulterated, blatant ongoing horse shit.  ... Right, Bill?  F--k these jackbooted bastards.  Aren't worth a crap.  Continually abrogate their oaths of office to protect and defend the United States Constitution.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Includes not only deputies, but the brass as well.  No principles.  No honor.  Lying, conniving, abusive, murderous jackbooted thieving thugs.  The American Civil Liberties Union needs to step up and represent the victims of abusive law enforcement.

To say nothing of innocent civilians all across our formerly great country who are victimized by abusive police.  Need far better representation than a public defender.  Forget?  It's how the bastards in government line government coffers.  All too often, looting the innocent.  Those on the bottom of the food chain.  ... Right, Sheriff?

No justice.  The American Way.  Nazi America.  When is this shit finally going to end?  All of it.  Wake up, Sheriff.  Again, where is dashcam video of the killing of Jeffrey Gray Wise, 52, of Austin by DPS and the Llano County Sheriff's Office?  One hundred fifty four weeks, now.  A goddamned disgrace.

Why are you still sitting on this information?  What are you hiding, Sheriff?  What is the identity of the officers who killed Wise?  Too gutless to release this information to the public that pays your salary and that of your goons?  Reportedly, there were three officers involved in the shooting.  Who the hell are they?

When will the goddamned 'law' 'enforcement' community finally stop making excuses for engaging in outrageous criminal activity including blatant murder, violent assault, sexual assault, theft, drug trafficking, etc.?  List can go on and on.  Protecting its own no matter what it does or doesn't do?  Convenient, isn't it, Sheriff?  Again, no foreign power, no terrorist organization, not even the criminal element presents a greater threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties than all branches and levels of government, -- including law enforcement.

Corruption within law enforcement remains an existential threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties.  So what else is new?  ... Right, Bill?  Same old duplicitous, aggressively stupid shit occurs right here in Nazi Llano County.  ... Doesn't it, Sheriff?

Think it'll change any time soon?  Don't hold your breath, readers.  Not how things work in Nazi America, right, Sheriff?  Highly reminiscent of how your goons operate though, isn't it, Bill?  Forget?  'Stupid is as stupid does.'  F--ked up is f--ked up no matter where, no matter how.  Problem throughout all law enforcement.

Including right here in Nazi Llano County, right, Sheriff?  Too many officers clearly have their heads securely lodged where the sun seldom shines.  Egregious insanity continues to be perpetrated by the criminal jackbooted bastards in blue.  Ongoing issue.  All over our formerly great country.

Not just in Dallas as in the Guyger case, but all over the nation.  No end to it.  Surprised? Why?  In today's increasingly national socialist climate anything goes, right, Bill?  Live in a de facto fascist police-state, quickly transitioning to the Trump nazi's Fourth Reich.  Certainly, a problem here in Nazi Llano County, isn't it, Sheriff? Your goons, however, aren't held accountable when they egregiously f--k up.  Ever.

Precisely why you refuse to release information on your deputies to the long-suffering public?  That is, employment history, criminal background, results of drug testing, etc..  ... Got to protect your criminal jackbooted thugs preying on the citizenry with virtual impunity, right, sir?

Equally pointedly, why hasn't Llano County Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764 been held criminally accountable for egregious abuse of power involving denial of property rights to a Kingsland property owner?  To say nothing of consequent resultant physical damage done to a motor home on that property.  Why are you protecting this clueless son of a bitch, Sheriff?

Why hasn't he been prosecuted for official oppression?  Where is financial compensation for the damage this jackbooted piece of human excrement is responsible for? Ferociously pointedly, why are the District Attorney and the County Attorney continuing to protect this jackbooted piece of shit?  He and others like him present an exigent threat to life, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties.

Equally to the point, why are your jackbooted pieces of human excrement refusing to enforce Berardi's property rights?  Your goons have failed to take action against Theresa Ahrens when she tore down a no trespassing sign and barrier on Berardi's property.  Have you, your goons, and/or Madam County Attorney been bribed by Johnny Greene?

Ahrens frequently drives all the way through Berardi's property.  Coup de grace?  When Berardi complained to Llano County Deputy Idle about the trespassing, the officer's response was insane.  Said the Sheriff told him to tell Berardi since Ahrens believes she owns his property she can't be charged with trespassing.  Perfect Catch-22, right, Sheriff?  You're not fit for office, Bill.  Bribed by Johnny Greene?

Why is Theresa Ahrens allowed by your goons to dictate what vehicles can and cannot be parked on Berardi's property?  Ahrens claims she has proof the property belongs to her where the vehicle was parked.  Has failed to produce it.  Surveyors say otherwise.  Back up Berardi.  Yet, your jackbooted bastards refuse to enforce Berardi's property rights.  Why?  Somebody lining somebody's pockets, Sheriff?

Ms. Ahrens micro-mini portable 'house' is parked on an unused unmarked Llano County road.  Imagine that.  Madam County Attorney well-aware.  Has done nothing.  Shit squat.  Egregiously ignored her oath of office.  Someone bribing you, Becky?  Lining your pockets, Counselor?  Paying you not to sell the unused unmarked County road to Berardi?  Doesn't the County want and need the sale money, to say nothing of the resultant tax income?

No question, County and State agencies remain determinedly, concertedly, achingly incapable of criminal investigation of their own.  Precisely, why a new federal agency desperately needs to be created whose sole function would be to investigate, arrest, charge, prosecute corrupt, abusive, criminal officers, prosecutors, and judges in a special court whose sole function would be to adjudicate only such cases.  Total independence.  Certainly, go a long, long way to cleaning up this cess pool County.  Rein in the outrageously corrupt, abusive, achingly inept, self-serving assholes who run and own this hell hole.

Sheriff, you falsely claim the Kingsland County Commissioner has the authority to resolve this ongoing property rights issue.  Clearly, doesn't.  You, Madam County Attorney, and "Sonny Boy" are certainly an egregious impediment, continue to determinedly stonewall.  Someone's pockets are being lined.  Again, where's financial compensation for the damage Llano County Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764 is directly responsible for to the Pace Arrow?  Why hasn't he been prosecuted for this damage, to say nothing of infringement of Berardi's property rights?  -- Just getting started, Sheriff.  Far more to come.

-- You're not doing your jobs, Sheriff.  You've got a loose vicious dog problem in Kingsland, Bill.  When will you and the troops finally do something about this ongoing issue?  Certainly, a recurring problem on Skyline, particularly on occasion at the intersection of Odessa.  Pedestrians, runners, and cyclists are at risk.  Too busy lining County coffers with bogus tickets?"

... Small sampling of what's to come in this edition.  Read on.

Re:  Berardi Property Rights Denial-Damage To Pace Arrow-Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764

Counselor:

The enclosed emails were sent to the Llano County Attorney and Sheriff, respectively, vis a vis the above matter.  Remain unanswered.  The County Attorney appears to be protecting and defending the deputy at behest of Kingsland property owner Johnny Greene.  May have received some consideration from Greene up to and including a bribe.  Are the County Attorney, Greene, and the Deputy under criminal investigation?  If not, why not?

Re:  Berardi Property Rights Denial-Damage To Pace Arrow-Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764

Counselor:

As you're well aware, we have an outrageously corrupt, abusive, achingly inept Llano County Sheriff's Office here in Nazi Llano County.  Worse, you and your office aid and abet these SS jackbooted bastards in black.  The issue at the moment is the same it's been the last six months.

How is it two surveyor companies, the Appraisal District, the Tax Office, the Precinct 3 Commissioner, even the goddamned Sheriff himself now states Kingsland resident James Berardi owns the lots in contention all these months?

Yet, you ludicrously assert that's not the County's legal position.  It's not?  Why not?  You claim you're not a real estate expert.  Rather than accept the advice of two surveyor companies, the Precinct 3 Commissioner, the Appraisal District, the Tax Office, and even the Sheriff himself, you've inexplicably chosen to follow the advice of property owner Johnny Greene, -- who conveniently happens to be reportedly in the oil industry.

Question to be asked.  Could you have received any 'consideration' in return, -- up to and including a bribe?  Only way to know for sure is for the District Attorney to conduct a criminal investigation.  Apparently, there has been none.  If not, why not?

Equally pointedly, why hasn't Llano County Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764 been held criminally accountable for egregious abuse of power involving denial of property rights to this Kingsland property owner?  To say nothing of consequent resultant physical damage done to a motor home on that property.

Our achingly useless, worthless, gutless Sheriff has ignored an email vis a vis the damage this jackbooted thug is responsible for.  Interestingly, his fellow officers believe him to be an idiot.  Yet, the Sheriff continued to defend this piece of human excrement until he realized  this entire fiasco would not be swept under the carpet.

Rodriguez is indeed an idiot.  Would you believe this piece of crap ordered the motor home to be moved on to an unmarked unused Llano County road? That motor home has indeed been moved back to where it was parked before Rodriguez forced it to be moved.  Why hasn't the County paid for the cost of moving it back?  To say nothing of the damage.

Equally pointedly, why is it the County has allowed Theresa Ahrens to park and live in her tiny cottage on that very same road?  Why hasn't she been evicted by the County?  Why was she assessed taxes on an adjacent improvement she doesn't own?

Why is it, Counselor, Johnny Greene is paying for the attorney retained by Ms. Ahrens?  Is Greene attempting to make this all go away by bribery?  Greene has also informed Berardi he is going to sue.  For what?  Has Greene lost his mind?

What about Wells who installed a $4500 septic system on a lot turns out he does not own as a result of Greene, an outrageously inept County, to say nothing of the Llano County Attorney who remains equally determinedly clueless?

How about Bolen who hasn't a pot to piss in, but was nonetheless f--ked over by Greene to say nothing of an egregiously inept County, to say nothing of you and your goddamned equally incompetent office?

None of this is going away, Counselor, -- any time soon.  Will not be swept under the carpet as all the other crap going on in this hell hole County.  Not a chance.  Expect a full expose in this publication whether or not this outrageous fiasco finally gets resolved.  Including full public exposure of both the Sheriff and his jackbooted thug.

Who are they, Sheriff?  Their past history?  An ongoing investigation remains a lame bullshit excuse.  How can you and your goons be trusted when you refuse to disclose information?  One hundred fifty four weeks.  Especially, your egregious failure to disclose the identity of the officers who pulled the trigger.  To cover your sorry ass, Sheriff?  Those of your thugs?  The people have a right to know what happened, how it went down.  You don't understand that, Sheriff?  Sadly, clearly, you answer to no one.  Including taxpayers.  Especially, taxpayers.

Until you and your goons come clean, doubt will remain this was indeed a good shoot.  The longer you drag your feet, the greater the doubt.  Think not?  Wake up.  Your credibility has tanked.  Isn't getting any better as this bullshit continues unabated.  One hundred fifty four weeks.   Still no identification of the officers involved  ... Can't get your stories straight?  In line?  Discrepancy between LCSO and DPS? Wake up, Sheriff.  The public no longer buys the bullshit.  No longer trusts you.  On this and many, many other issues.  You have no credibility.  Absolutely, none.

Readers, this is but one of about four other highly questionable killings by law enforcement in Llano County in the last decade or so.  There was one within the City of Llano, another in a field near Fuzzy's Corner, Buchanan Dam, yet another in Point Tella, Buchanan Dam, still another in Tow.  If there are any others I may have neglected to mention, kindly email.

It's time the public be fully informed.  -- Know what we're dealing with here and how 'law' 'enforcement' operates in this hell hole County.  If these jackbooted bastards are not reined in, the life lost could be yours courtesy of a law enforcement system that is no longer accountable to anyone.  ... Right, Sheriff?  TL?  "Sonny Boy?"  Madam County Attorney?

The Sheriff seems to have no clue the people who pay him and his goons are entitled to know whom is killing whom and why.  This shit always seems to be swept under the carpet.  Ignored.  The attitude of these jackbooted sons of bitches is trust us.  They can't be.  They've lied too many times.  Refuse to be accountable to anyone.  We live in a goddamned fascist police-state where law enforcement does as it pleases. Usually, with impunity.  That has to change.

The Texas Rangers have become rubber stamp to atrocities committed by law enforcement.  This also has to change.  No one is holding law enforcement accountable any longer.  No one.  No one in state or federal government. This is precisely why Ferguson triggered such an uproar.  There was no justice there.  None here.  None anywhere.  Officers are abusive, corrupt, inept.

Falsely ticket and arrest the innocent to line County coffers.  Court fees charged continue to be horrendous.  -- Aren't taxpayers already looted to pay these costs?  Aren't you boys not only double f--king those falsely accused, but taxpayers also hellaciously looted to pay the very same costs?   Yet, the criminal bastards in power in Llano continue to pile on the fees. This is nothing more than goddamned bullshit.  This money finds its way into the pockets of the corrupt, abusive bastards who falsely believe they run and own this hell hole.

Would you believe the last time the Sheriff's Office happened to be 'audited' during the Garrett regime, reportedly, auditors couldn't figure out what went where and why? Yet, surprise, surprise.  Nothing was done.  There has to be transparency.  There is none.  Why would these thieving bastards want any?  ... Right, Sheriff?  TL?  How else could they so easily steal and loot with virtual impunity?  Worse, this reinforces jackbooted power in this goddamned, godforsaken hell hole County.

The public has a right to know the histories of the Sheriff's goons.  Clearly, the Sheriff doesn't think so.  That is, where they came from.  Why they left where they were.  What is happening here is the Sheriff is using 'personnel matters' as a convenient excuse to deny the public access to the history of outrageously corrupt, abusive, inept officers who are no more than criminals themselves.

He's protecting his outrageously corrupt, abusive, inept jackbooted bastards.  Worse, the standards imposed by sheriff's offices statewide with the exception of metropolitan counties are well below those of DPS and city police departments.  Why?  So the corruption, abuse, ineptness, and outright stealing can continue unabated?  This has to change.  ... Can't have that, can we?  Sheriff?  TL?

The public should understand Llano County authorities have it all sewn up.  Did you know the Texas Attorney General does not have the authority to investigate and prosecute County authorities on his own?  The District Attorney has to call for an investigation by the Texas Rangers.  Then, the State can prosecute if it so chooses.

Consequently?  Guess what?  Nothing will happen.  Nothing ever does.  The goddamned corruption continues unabated until you, the public, pressure authorities.  Precisely, why we all enjoy the 'best' government money can buy. Literally.  Without question, the corrupt, abusive, inept sons of bitches are all bought and paid for.  Firmly clamped to the taxpayer tit.  Dependent on money looted from innocent citizens caught in their web.  Phony fines and court costs cleverly designed to f--k the innocent and enrich the pieces of shit who falsely believe they run and own Llano County. Right, Sheriff?  TL?  "Sonny Boy?"  Madam County Attorney?

Interestingly, the former Sheriff and District Attorney were reportedly forced to retire after an outrageous scandal involving a drunk driving police officer from out of town.  Including special treatment of the drunken son of a bitch that no other citizen caught doing the same would have been afforded.  An honest, honorable Llano County Deputy suffered the consequences. Forget?  Great officers do not last in this hell hole County. ... Right, Sheriff?  TL?  "Sonny Boy?"  Madam County Attorney?

With all ongoing abuse in this goddamned County, one thing remains for damned sure.  We're just getting started, Sheriff.  You will continue to be exposed for whom and what you and your corrupt, abusive, inept jackbooted bastards have become, truly are, not what you phonies purport to be, that is, how you continue to f--k over a public you've falsely sworn to protect and defend.  -- Exposure, the only way short of an unwanted dreaded revolution to force desperately needed change in a goddamned fascist police-state. The Fourth Reich.

Have your jackbooted thugs been tested for steroids, Sheriff?  If you've nothing to hide, Bill, release the results of all drug testing.  'Personnel matters?'  Bullshit.  Looted taxpayers have the right to know.  They're footing the bill for all this goddamned corruption, abuse, ineptness. When will you and the boys end the shakedowns?  Looting of the innocent to line County coffers?  No honor at all?

Where are your swastika armbands, you fascist son of a bitch?  You and your thugs remain out of uniform.  Once again, Sheriff, and ad nauseum, did you and/or your goons pressure Schilling to exit the race?  Did you steal the election? If so, an aggressively stupid, achingly gutless public gets what it truly deserves.  One of the most corrupt, abusive, inept 'law' 'enforcement' agencies in our formerly great country.

Have any information, knowledge of, experience with a purportedly non-profit volunteer clean-up group called Looking Forward In Llano County affiliated with the Llano County Attorney's Office?  Email this publication at libertyinperil@protonmail.com to provide information and/or arrange a meeting to discuss this matter.  If requested, your identity will be protected.  The question is quite simple.  Is this group what it claims to be and on the level?

Highly reminiscent of our outrageously bought and paid for judiciary, Llano County prosecutors, Sheriff Bill Blackburn and his criminal SS jackbooted bastards in black who continue to egregiously disgrace themselves and the badge, do as they please regardless of the law and Constitution, carefully consider the following.  It's appalling.  Runs against the grain of everything our formerly great country once stood for.  No longer.

The following would be laughable had it not been so extremely dangerous.  NBC News reports:

"Police with guns drawn broke down the door of an Arizona home and ordered three children into the custody of the Department of Child Safety because the parents had refused to take their son with a fever to the hospital."

Hard to believe, isn't it?  Still don't think we live in a fascist police-state?

"Sarah Beck and Brooks Bryce brought their feverish 2-year-old son to a clinic in late February and were told he had a temperature of 105, they said to NBC affiliate KPNX. The doctor ordered the parents to bring the boy — who had not been vaccinated, according to azcentral.com — to a hospital, but by the time they got home, his fever had decreased to 102, and they decided not to."

Think that unreasonable?

"When the doctor found out the child had never made it to the hospital, the doctor called DCS who contacted the Chandler Police Department. When police arrived, the parents wouldn't let them into the house."

Would you?  Did the jackbooted bastards have a warrant?  Claim they did.  Not clear from this article whether or not that's true at the time police arrived.  If not, what were the exigent circumstances that would allow the jackbooted bastards to break in?  If that's, in fact, how it went down.  Still not clear.

"They said ‘Brooks, you have to come out of your house right now … We have to check on them,’ and I said, 'he’s doing fine, his temperature is 100 degrees. He's safe, he’s asleep, could you please just leave us alone,’” Bryce told KPNX."

Forget?  Not possible in a de facto fascist police-state.

"At that point, officers, who said they had a warrant from DCS, broke down the door of the home, surveillance video showed. "They saw me, and they asked me to put my hands up," Bryce said. The father was handcuffed while police checked the home. The couple's three kids were placed in DCS custody. “I mean, they treated us like criminals, busting in our door. I mean, I don’t know what kind of trauma that did to my kids. Where are my kids right now is what I want to know,” Beck said."

Were they or were they not told?  Not clear.

"A police report said the officers used forced entry because there was a present danger to a child, and the parents refused to come out of the home."

Not clear there was any present danger.  If there was no warrant, no present danger, residents have no obligation to come out and talk to the jackbooted bastards.  Again, there are unanswered questions here.  -- To say nothing of contradictory information and claims.

"The report said that when officers entered the house, they found more than one of the children had vomited in their beds, there was "clutter everywhere," and they discovered a shotgun in the parents' bedroom that was not locked. The parents are not facing criminal charges, but as of March 25, they still did not have their children back."

If what the jackbooted bastards claim, all of it, is indeed true, why no criminal charges?

Moreover, none of this adds up.  In addition, this has apparently been an issue in Arizona:

"State Rep. Kelly Townsend, who has worked on legislation requiring DCS to get a search warrant before removing a child from a home, called the incident a "miscarriage of justice and a shame to the State of Arizona." "This mother is nearly 9 months pregnant and her baby will be born soon. I have great concern that DCS will also take this infant over a misdiagnosis by the Dr., who thought the child might have meningitis, when actually he had RSV (Respiratory syncytial virus)," Townsend said in a statement on March 25. "I call on DCS to immediately return the children who are also being traumatized due to this misdiagnosis," the statement said. "The parents were correct, the doctor was wrong." The Arizona Department of Child Safety and the Chandler Police Department did not immediately respond to requests for comment from NBC News."

What could they say?  Police all across our formerly great country have a well-earned reputation of lying, abusing authority, wantonly engaging in violence, ignoring all civil and constitutional rights and liberties.  Precisely, why they have no credibility.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Certainly, can't be taken at their word.  Forget?  Courts have granted them near carte blanche to lie on the job.  ... Right, Bill?

NBC News, in follow up, reports:

"Body camera footage released Thursday shows officers of the Chandler Police Department knocking on the door, identifying themselves and asking for someone to come to the door three times until forcing entry into the home. An officer first began to knock at about 10:43 p.m., then called Beck and Bryce at home. After a second attempt at the door and a second call, the officer managed to speak to Bryce on the phone. "He's doing fine. His fever broke, he's under 100 degrees, and he's doing just fine," Bryce said. When the officer told Bryce that officers need to see the boy for themselves, Bryce responds, "no you don't." Bryce then refused to come outside and the officer tried once again to get the father to come to the door. During the time the officers were attempting to speak to Bryce, DCS obtained a court order for the temporary custody of the two-year-old child. "Like I said, here are your options," the officer in the video said. "You can either come out here or talk to us so we can figure out how we're going to get your kid to the hospital, or DCS is going to take temporary custody of your kids." Bryce once again refused over the phone to let officers into the home and said, "you're not going to make me go to the hospital and spend three grand on an emergency room visit right now."

Jesus Christ.  Fascinating, isn't it?  When the government forces parents against their will to bring a kid to an emergency room when there is no emergency, why isn't the government forced to pay?  As it turned out, there apparently was no emergency.

"Chandler officers then warned Bryce if he did not answer police officers, the door would be broken down. Almost three hours after the first knock on the door, officers forced their way in with guns out and ready to fire."

This went on for three hours?  If the jackbooted bastards truly believed this was an emergency, why did they wait?  Why take the time to get a warrant to remove the kid from the custody of the family?  Sounds like these bastards were manufacturing a crisis.

"A lawyer for Beck said in a statement to NBC News on Thursday that the way in which the children were removed "was clearly unnecessary and well beyond 'reasonable force.'"

Forget?  In a goddamned fascist police-state, anything goes.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Madam County Attorney?  "Sonny Boy?"

"The statement continued that Beck "has a fundamental, Constitutionally protected right to the care, custody, and management of her Children. These rights do not evaporate simply because the Department of Child Safety believes they know better."

That's right.  Sue the living shit out of all the bastards involved.  Every single one of them.

"The police report said that when officers entered the house, two other children were found "in their bedroom, which was covered in stains of unknown origin."

So what?  'Justifies' jackbooted tactics?

"The Department of Child Safety said it could not comment on specific cases, but described the incident as standard practice."

Yes.  Clearly, raw jackbooted nazism.

"Two years ago, the DCS supported a law to require DCS specialists to obtain a court order prior to removing a child from their home," the agency said in a statement. A recently passed amendment gave law enforcement agencies assisting DCS authority to “use reasonable force to enter any building in which the person named in the removal authorization is or is reasonably believed to be," a DCS statement said."

Raw nazism.  Fascist police-state.

More to come as it becomes available.

NBC News, in yet another follow up, reports:

"The decision by armed Arizona police officers to force their way into the home of two parents who had refused to take their feverish young son to a hospital has raised troubling questions about parental responsibility and potential medical neglect, and what some might see as excessive law enforcement tactics. But amid the debate, health and legal experts who spoke to NBC News emphasized that parents who decline to seek medical care when their child is experiencing a potentially life-threatening condition have relatively little legal protection, and in some extreme cases the state can override their ability to make health care decisions."

That's obvious.  No question.  Happens all over the country.  The problem here is how much government intrusion is warranted?  To say nothing of jackbooted law enforcement tactics.

"Given that the child in this case had a temperature of more than 105, Arizona authorities were at "the threshold at which the state is reasonable in intervening because it has an independent duty to protect the child if the parents are unwilling or unable to do so," said Douglas Diekema, the director of education at the center for pediatric bioethics at Seattle Children's Hospital. "That's why we have child neglect and abuse laws, after all," said Diekema, who is also a professor of pediatrics at the University of Washington School of Medicine."

The question remains how much intrusion is too much?  Not only in regard to medical staff, but tactics used by law enforcement goons to enforce compliance.

"Sarah Beck, the mother in this case, brought her 2-year-old son to Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine on Feb. 25, at which time she was told the boy had a temperature of more than 105, according to reports by the Chandler Police Department. The doctor believed the child could be suffering from meningitis, a potentially, life-threatening illness, and it could not be tested for at the clinic, so she told Beck to take the toddler to the hospital, according to a police report. Beck was reluctant because her son wasn't vaccinated, and she feared "possible repercussions," the report said."

If the doctor knew the parents were reluctant and the situation was truly life-threatening, why didn't she force the issue at the time?  Instead of waiting later in the day to make an issue of it.  Either it was an emergency or it wasn't.

"When the doctor learned later that day the child had never made it to the hospital, she called the state Department of Child Safety, which in turn contacted the police department in Chandler, Arizona, because "there was a present danger to health/wellbeing and that he required immediate medical attention." The Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine did not respond to a request for comment from NBC News this week."

Sounds like the doctor may have been trying to cover her ass.  Again, either there was an emergency or there wasn't.  Why did she wait all those hours if it was indeed an emergency?

"Dr. Arthur L. Caplan, a professor of bioethics at the New York University School of Medicine, agreed that a 105-degree temperature is indeed life-threatening, and added that the case came down to protecting the life of the child. "The ethical principle is that if your child is in imminent risk of dying, and if it's likely that medical attention could reverse that, then as a parent you don't have the right to allow your child to die," said Caplan, who has contributed commentary to NBC News in the past."

Then again, the doctor should have taken immediate action since she obviously knew the parents were reluctant to take the child to the hospital.  Again, either it was an emergency or it wasn't.  Sounds like she may have thought better of the earlier encounter, may have been trying to cover her ass.

"In most states, certain public officials and healthcare professionals are generally required to report to state authorities if they believe the life of a child is endangered because of their parents' decisions, said Kathleen Hoke, professor of public health policy at the University of Maryland Carey School of Law. But the circumstances of the Arizona raid — officers had pistols and ballistic shields drawn, and the body camera footage at times resembles video from a drug seizure — stirred debate about law enforcement tactics."

That's right.  That's the main issue here.  Not the doctor's belated call to authorities expressing her concern.

“They treated us like criminals, busting in our door,” the boy's father, Brooks Bryce, told a local television station. “I mean, I don’t know what kind of trauma that did to my kids.”

The jackbooted bastards in blue couldn't care less.  Means shit squat to outrageously corrupt, abusive, murderous law enforcement.  ... Right, Sheriff?

"Chandler police have recommended to prosecutors that they file child abuse charges against the Bryce and Beck, who were not arrested as a result of the incident."

If law enforcement truly believed those kids were being abused, why the hell didn't they arrest the parents at the timeWhy not?  Could it be they are now alleging abuse to cover their sorry asses about how they broke into the domicile?  Timing of the warrant, etc.?

"Beck's reluctance to take her son to a hospital because he was purportedly not vaccinated may have been unfounded, according to James Hodge, a professor of public health law and ethics at the Arizona State University Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law. He pointed out that Arizona allows parents to opt out of vaccinations for philosophical, religious or medical reasons."

As reported earlier in this article, billing was also a factor.  Likely, the main, driving factor as to why they refused entry to the jackbooted bastards in blue.

"It was not immediately clear if the parents in the Arizona case based their medical decisions on personal or religious beliefs. What's more, the parents have suggested they chose not to take their young son to the hospital because his high temperature had purportedly gone down."

That's right.  Parents, apparently, no longer have the right to make that call.  Government goons do.

"But details in the police report were potentially troubling: It said that when officers entered the house, two other children were found "in their bedroom, which was covered in stains of unknown origin." It also said: "The children advised us they had vomited several times in their beds, and had stains around their mouths." Ultimately, according to Hodge, authorities were right to intervene in what could have been a potentially deadly situation. "If you've got legitimate reasons to believe a child's health is in peril because of the parents' resistance to treatment, that's legit," Hodge said. "It's abuse."

Nowhere in this update, or the earlier ones reported above, is there any mention of the exact medical condition of the children other than from Arizona State Rep. Kelly Townsend.  Why not?  Is it because there was no bona fide emergency justifying the actions of law enforcement?  Truth is indeed a moving target.  More on this as it becomes available.

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.

No longer.

Think the above was bad?  The following is worse.  The Washington Post reports:

"It was supposed to be a little boy’s birthday party, but the frightening mayhem exploded before he could blow out the candles."

Did it ever.

"Feb. 10, 2019, was a Sunday evening, the cold Chicago night sinking into the low 20s. Friends and family had gathered in the basement apartment where 4-year-old TJ Jackson Jr. lived with his parents and 7-year-old sister Samari in the city’s Auburn Gresham neighborhood on the South Side. Around 10 adults chatted and played cards. TJ, Samari, and two other kids were playing Duck, Duck, Goose. The children’s mother, Stephanie Bures, had run to the store for ice cream. When she returned, it would be time for cake and presents."

No, it wouldn't:

"But according to a recently filed federal lawsuit, at 7:15 p.m. that night, the house’s unlocked back door smacked open. The crash of footsteps coming down the basement stairs filled the apartment. Plainclothes men with guns filled the room, some hefting crowbars, sledgehammers and a battering ram. “Get your f------ hands up!” the men screamed, according to the complaint. “We are doing a f------ raid!”

Indeed, they did:

"While the four children, including the birthday boy, wailed in panic, 17 officers allegedly went about tearing the apartment to pieces, including knocking over TJ’s birthday cake."

Jackbooted pieces of human excrement.  Lowest of the low.  ... Right, Sheriff?

"When the adults in the apartment realized these were policemen, they say they asked to see a warrant. Instead, they were allegedly screamed at or handcuffed. Forty-five minutes into the raid, the officers realized the man they were looking for — a suspected ecstasy dealer — was not in the apartment. They made no arrests and found no drugs, according to the complaint."

Worse?  Get this:

"The suspect actually had not lived in the apartment for five years before the family moved in. The family filed a lawsuit this week in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois alleging the Chicago police officers used excessive force and violated their civil rights during the winter evening’s raid. “Can you imagine sitting, playing games with other kids and guns pointed at them?” Bures said Tuesday at a news conference announcing the lawsuit, WGN reported."

Forget?  Par for the course in a de facto fascist police-state.  Nazi America.  Founders?  Spinning in their graves.

"For the Chicago Police Department, tasked with keeping order in a city that bleeds daily from endemic street violence, the lawsuit comes as another black eye on a department with a reckless reputation. According to CBS Chicago, local police have raided the wrong house at least a dozen times in the last 18 months. “Our children in Auburn Gresham face enough trauma every day just trying to grow up in Chicago,” Father Michael Pfleger, a Catholic priest and Chicago activist, told reporters Tuesday. The department has yet to publicly comment on the lawsuit."

What could they say?

"The officers had all the adults present put their coats and phones along a wall, then forced them to sit against the walls while they ran their IDs through the system. “In these bedrooms, officers pulled clothes and other items out of drawers and plastic storage containers and threw them around, and broke drawers and other furniture,” the complaint stated. “They flipped mattresses over and threw . . . [a] flat-screen TV into the floor, breaking it.”

Jackbooted motherf--kers.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Madam County Attorney?  "Sonny Boy?"

"The officers also “spitefully” poured a bottle of vodka all over a flipped mattress and clothes in one of the bedrooms, the lawsuit claims. The officers are also accused of damaging the boy’s birthday gifts in another room. “In the children’s bedroom, officers poured hydrogen peroxide over the flipped mattress and clothes that they had strewn around the room, dousing new clothes that were birthday gifts [for] TJ that day.” At one point, when one of the members of the family, a teacher who works with disabled children, told the officers all the adults present had steady paying jobs, the officers allegedly ignored the comment. “I feel sorry for the kids if you’re teaching them,” one officer said, according to the lawsuit. Bures said her two children, including the birthday boy, were traumatized by the raid. The officers left — with TJ’s cake still in the box but tipped over on the ground — without apologizing, the complaint states. “I thought they were going to shoot me and my brother and everybody else,” Samari told CBS."

How can the law enforcement community be trusted?

Too busy lining County coffers with bogus tickets?

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.

No longer.

Extremely important to know your rights.  NBC News reports:

"A member of a group that urges immigrants to know their rights used some of that training to keep immigration officers from arresting two people who were in the car with him."

It's extremely important for all of us to know our constitutional rights.  Best defense against outrageously corrupt and abusive law enforcement.

"Bryan MacCormack, 30, executive director of the Columbia County Sanctuary Movement in upstate New York, was captured on video refusing to open his car door March 5 to what an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer insisted was a “warrant of arrest of alien.” MacCormack had just accompanied two immigrants without legal status to the courthouse to deal with minor traffic citations. They were in their car about 20 seconds when they were pulled over by ICE agents, he told NBC News. Before the agent got to the car, MacCormack told one of his passengers to start recording video and reminded them of the rights. The passengers had been told they might get pulled over and were prepared for the possibility, he said. The video begins as MacCormack is telling an ICE officer at his car window that the papers he has handed him are not warrants for arrest. “Yes they are, sir, warrant of arrest of alien,” the unidentified officer says to MacCormack as he points to a line on the papers he is holding. The officer's face can't be seen in the video. “Yeah, warrant of arrest of ... alien, not signed by a judge. It’s not a judicial warrant. I have no obligation to oblige by that warrant,” MacCormack responds."

A warrant must be signed by a judge.

"MacCormack had called the group's attorney and put the call on speakerphone. During the exchange, the attorney can be heard telling him to tell the officer the lawyer was on his way. Despite MacCormack's protests, the officer at the car repeated that what he had in his hand was a lawful warrant under the U.S. Immigration and Nationality Act signed by "an official with that designated authority." But MacCormack responded that the warrant was not an official warrant under the U.S. Constitution, but rather a Department of Homeland Security order. He told the officer he’s undergoing Department of Justice-accredited training and has copies of the paperwork the agent was showing him and of a "real" warrant in the car “just so people know not to listen to that.”

Got to be extremely careful:

"The officer then asked MacCormack whether he is familiar with laws governing transporting and harboring of “illegal aliens” in the United States. "I was nervous and felt fear for the safety of myself and the community members inside of my vehicle. But I was also inherently indignant at ICE’s tactics and their relentless pursuit and practice of detention, deportation and family separation," MacCormack said in a phone interview. A spokeswoman for ICE emailed a statement to NBC News saying that on March 5, ICE officers were seeking two people not lawfully present in the United States and "an individual interfered with the enforcement action, causing officers to instead depart the scene to avoid further disruption." The statement included a warning that people who impede ICE officers "expose themselves to potential criminal violations, and run the risk of harming the very people they purport to support." The statement cited a section of the law governing assaulting, impeding or resisting federal officers or employees."

Must not be forgotten we do live in a de facto fascist police-state where nearly anything goes.  That is, law enforcement routinely ignores the law, all civil and constitutional rights and liberties.

"Gloria Martinez, a co-founder of Columbia County Sanctuary Movement, said a lot of the work the group does involves responding to arrests similar to the one attempted with MacCormack. Often the group gets calls from people who have a family member who was taken by ICE off the street, outside the court or on their way to work, she said. The group has worked to inform people of their rights and teach them how to demand to be shown a warrant signed by a judge. MacCormack said ICE officers had warrants signed by judges in only about two of 12 cases involving people arrested at court. Martinez said fear in the community often prevents people from asserting their rights even when they've been trained. ICE officers wear vests that say “police” and that often confuses people too, she said. “Everyone sees ICE as very powerful and feel they have to do what they say, that they can’t ask questions and they tend to comply,” she said."

The same is true throughout all law enforcement.  The legal community needs to step up and do far more to educate the community as a public service.

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.

No longer.

Think the following justice?  ... Especially, in light of the fact the jackbooted 'trigger man' in SWAT regalia was not prosecuted.  CBS News reports:

"A California man was sentenced Friday to 20 years in prison for making bogus emergency calls to authorities across the U.S., including one that led police to fatally shoot a Kansas man following a dispute between two online players over a $1.50 bet in the "Call of Duty: WWII" video game. U.S. District Judge Eric Melgren sentenced Tyler R. Barriss, 26, under a deal in which he pleaded guilty in November to a total of 51 federal charges related to fake calls and threats."

No question, this bastard did not get enough prison time, -- but that's beside the point.

"The 2017 death of 28-year-old Andrew Finch drew national attention to the practice of "swatting," a form of retaliation in which someone reports a false emergency to get authorities, particularly a SWAT team, to descend on an address. Authorities said an Ohio gamer recruited Barriss to "swat" a Wichita gamer, but the address they used was old, leading police to Finch, who was not involved in the video game or the dispute. Barriss admitted he called Wichita police from Los Angeles on Dec. 28, 2017, to falsely report a shooting and kidnapping at that Wichita address. Finch answered the door, and an officer shot the unarmed man."

Readers will recall this case was covered at the time in this publication and elsewhere.

"Barriss' prosecution in Wichita consolidated other federal cases that had initially been filed against him in California and the District of Columbia involving similar calls and threats he made. Prosecutors had asked for a 25-year sentence, while the defense had sought a 20-year term. "We hope that this will send a strong message about swatting, which is a juvenile and senseless practice," U.S. Attorney Stephen McAllister told reporters after the sentencing. "We'd like to put an end to it within the gaming community and in any other context."

Indeed.  There is, however, a far greater issue involved here:

"Police have said the officer who shot Finch thought he was reaching for a gun because he moved a hand toward his waistband. Prosecutors declined to charge the officer."

That's a problem.  A big problem.  Police procedure:  'Shoot first, ask questions later.'  ... Right, Sheriff?  Madam County Attorney?  "Sonny Boy?"

The jackbooted bastard murdered on the job.  Got away with it.  Fascist police-state.  Nazi America.

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.

Another one bites the dust.  -- Not just appalling.  Truly pathetic.  NBC News reports:

"A New Jersey police officer was sentenced for drug dealing and a videotaped violent attack on a man who had just attempted suicide, authorities said Friday."

'Best' in policing, Sheriff?

"Ruben McAusland, a 27-year-old formerly with the Paterson Police Department, was sentenced to 66 months behind bars this week after pleading guilty to intent to distribute narcotics and deprivation of civil rights under color of law, according to federal prosecutors in Newark. The authorities this week released cellphone video of McAusland, filmed by his then-partner Roger Then, attacking a man at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Paterson on March 5, 2018. The two officers had responded to an attempted suicide call and met the man at the hospital, officials said. McAusland later admitted he punched the man in the face in the waiting room, officials said."

Gutless piece of shit, right, Sheriff?

Gets worse:

"The assault continued in the man's room. In the cellphone video shot by Officer Then, the man could be heard telling the officers: "You're a b-tch." "Right here, you see my cheek?" the prone patient challenged. "Do it." That's when McAusland put on white hospital gloves and violently slapped him hard across the face twice, the video showed."

Gutless jackbooted bastard in blue.  Clearly, how this piece of shit gets his cookies off.  ... Right, Sheriff?

"The man already had cuts on his face and McAusland's slaps were so violent, that blood appeared to go flying onto the white bed sheets by the victim's shoulder."

Gutless jackbooted motherf--ker.

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.

In follow up to an earlier edition, NBC News reports:

"Police bodycam footage released Friday shows the fatal shooting of a California rapper who had been unresponsive in his car with a gun on his lap — and the moment six officers opened fire multiple times after he appeared to move his arm downward. One 30-minute video begins with an explanation of the Vallejo Police Department's version of events on the night of Feb. 9, when Willie McCoy, 20, went to a Taco Bell drive-thru. Vallejo police also separately released raw footage taken from all six of the officers who fired their weapons. The packaged video, which was shown to the McCoy family earlier this month, includes different angles of officers' bodycams. Neither McCoy's face nor the weapon are clearly visible, but one officer says he notices the gun with a magazine half out, so at the most it would have one bullet that could have been fired. Police subtitles added to the video say the gun was actually loaded with an extended 14-round magazine."

Jesus Christ.  Somebody's lying.  Guess who?  Think the jackbooted bastards weren't desperately trying to cover their sorry asses?  ... Right, Sheriff?

"The officers suggest trying to open the door to grab the gun. One officer says, "If he reaches for it," then nods his head. The other officer says, "Yep." But the door was locked."

Readers are reminded the passenger side glass was missing and plastic covered the opening.

"Officers had begun to block off McCoy's car inside the drive-thru to prevent any erratic movement if he woke up. Eventually, the officers did see McCoy moving and appearing to scratch his arm. The video is slowed down at that point. McCoy then jerks up and appears to reach down. His face is obscured by the officer's arm, pointing his gun. The video then speeds up to normal time and an officer begins shouting for him to "Show me your hands!" They then fire at him within a few seconds. After shooting multiple rounds, they still command him to "show me your hands." The video cuts off when an officer approaches the car."

Jesus Christ.  Apparently, careful editing to place the jackbooted bastards in the best possible light.  After pumping round after round into him, how could they possibly expect the dead to show his hands?  Abject bullshit.  To 'justify' the gutlessly unjustifiable.  ... Right, Sheriff?

"An earlier press release following the incident said the officers were "fearing for their safety" when they opened fire. All six have since returned to duty. The[y] have been identified as: Collin Eaton, Bryan Glick, Jordon Patzer, Anthony Romero-Cano, Mark Thompson and Ryan McMahon. McMahon was also involved in a fatal shooting on Feb. 13, 2018, and Thompson has been named in an excessive force complaint filed last year."

Surprised?  Why?  Par for the course in law enforcement.  Precisely, why law enforcement indulges in as little transparency as possible.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Madam County Attorney?  "Sonny Boy?"

"Attorneys for the family have said McCoy — whose stage name was Willie Bo — was shot about 25 times, with injuries to his face, throat, shoulders, chest and arm. They filed a claim last month notifying they plan to sue the city."

Soak the criminal murderous bastards for all you can get.

"Overkill is an understatement," attorney Melissa Nold told NBC News last month of McCoy's wounds and the number of times he was struck."

Par for the course in law enforcement.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Madam County Attorney?  "Sonny Boy?"

"Nold has also called into question the officers' version of events after police said the doors to McCoy's Mercedes-Benz were locked when they first considered retrieving the gun from his lap before he woke up. Even if the doors were locked, Nold said, the front passenger's side window was already broken and had a sheet of plastic covering it, which could have been removed if they wanted to access the firearm."

Gutless, jackbooted, murderous, lying bastards.  Precisely, why law enforcement cannot be trusted.

"Police initially declined to release any bodycam footage, citing an ongoing investigation. But the McCoy family demanded it be made public in the weeks after the shooting, and the independent newsroom Open Vallejo noted in a request this week to the city that a Vallejo councilman was already permitted to view the video."

Gutlessly dragging their feet.  Covering their ass.

"Vallejo police are working with the Solano County District Attorney's Office, which will decide whether the officers followed the correct protocol. "Our hope is that this information helps members of the public separate fact from fiction regarding this incident," police said Friday in releasing the bodycam videos."

Jesus Christ.  ... Can't dazzle 'em with brilliance, baffle 'em with bullshit?

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.

Always an excuse.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Madam County Attorney?  "Sonny Boy?" The Washington Post reports:

"The arc of justice for Antwon Rose II has traveled along a familiar modern path: Police kill an unarmed black male, video emerges and protests erupt, along with calls for the conviction of officers involved. And then, often, the opposite happens. Most fatal shootings by police result in no charges, and convictions are even less common."

Forget?  We live in a de facto fascist police-state.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Readers are reminded all races are subjected to this murderous jackbooted behavior.

"But shootings of unarmed black males captured with ubiquitous smartphone or police body cameras have crystallized anger in communities rocked by killings, and several similar incidents have created expectations among some that video and social outrage should be enough to put officers in prison."

Clearly, not in a fascist police-state.  ... Right, Sheriff?

"Those hopes dim when officers lean on the inherent danger of their work and invoke laws that allow broad authority for violence, leaving calls for justice and video outpaced by a legal system that critics say still favors the police."

Nazi America.  Precisely, one of the reasons why an unwanted dreaded second American revolution catastrophically looms.  ... Hear the rumble?

"Rose, 17, was shot three times after fleeing a car involved in a June shooting in East Pittsburgh. The officer, Michael Rosfeld, was charged with criminal homicide days later after he told conflicting stories about seeing Rose with a weapon, even though Rose was unarmed. Searing bystander video and public outcry led to charges and the Rose family’s “guarded optimism” that Rosfeld would be convicted. The Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office, which prosecuted the case, came out forcefully in the days after the killing to suggest the high bar for a murder conviction could be met. “I find that Rosfeld’s actions were intentional,” District Attorney Stephen A. Zappala said in June. “He was not acting to prevent death or serious bodily injury.”

No justice.

"But Rosfeld was acquitted of charges last week, prompting more protests. “Jurors see with their own eyes a fleeing kid, who is unarmed, and they know it is wrong. But the law is prohibitive. You can only do so much,” S. Lee Merritt, the attorney for Rose’s estate, told The Washington Post. “State attorneys work with law enforcement and have the unusual task of prosecuting a police officer responsible,” he added. “It becomes a very awkward dance.”

Precisely, why there is desperate need for a new federal agency whose sole function would be to investigate, arrest, charge, prosecute criminal officers, prosecutors, and judges in a court that would adjudicate only these cases.  Total independence.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Madam County Attorney?  "Sonny Boy?"

"The outcome was nearly symmetrical with that in the cases of Stephon Clark, Eric Garner, Tamir Rice and others whose killings were captured on video after they were confronted by police while unarmed."

... And many, many others as reported in this publication and elsewhere.

"No charges were filed against two officers who killed Clark in March 2018 after mistaking his white iPhone for a gun in a killing that upended Sacramento. An officer shouted “gun!” and, with his partner, fired 20 rounds at Clark in his grandmother’s backyard after they suspected he was breaking into nearby cars."

Gutless pieces of jackbooted shit.  ... Right, Sheriff?

"He was struck eight times, his family’s autopsy concluded."

Had to make sure they killed him, right, Sheriff?

"The officers involved in killing Garner and Rice also did not face charges."

Forget?  Nazi America.  A goddamned fascist police-state, right, Sheriff?

"In Rosfeld’s case, Pennsylvania law allows officers to use force to prevent serious injury to themselves or others, or if they believe it will prevent a suspect’s escape from arrest in the event they are likely to commit violence."

Raw jackbooted nazism, right, Sheriff?

"The prosecution’s arguments against Rosfeld rested on his decision to shoot and kill Rose, but prosecutors did not provide an expert witness focused on police use of force for the trial, said Mike Manko, a spokesman for the district attorney’s office. Prosecutors were otherwise “confident” that video evidence, “common sense” and other facts would overcome Rosfeld’s justification for using force, which can be confusing for a jury to wade through, Manko said. Merritt, who was not involved in the criminal case, said prosecutors appeared to pull punches. Prosecutors did not fully press Rosfeld on the inconsistencies of his statements to investigators, he said."

Quite possible prosecutors were in bed with the criminal, murderous, jackbooted bastard.  Precisely, why there is desperate need for a new independent federal agency as described above, and repeatedly in this publication, that would handle these cases.  Total independence.  Instead of a goddamned whitewash.

"Charging documents show Rosfeld told investigators he thought Rose pointed a gun at him but later said he did not see a gun and again altered his statement. Prosecutors pointed out Rosfeld’s inconsistencies during cross examination, Manko said. In less than four hours, jurors found Rosfeld not guilty of first-degree murder, third-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter. “The verdict was too fast,” said Carolyn Morrison, Rose’s aunt, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported. “It was all too fast."

Called nazi justice in a goddamned fascist police-state.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Madam County Attorney?  "Sonny Boy?"

"Rosfeld’s attorney, Patrick Thomassey, defended the verdict. “This was an absolutely justified shooting,” he told The Post. If Rosfeld didn’t shoot Rose and he went on to commit a crime, Thomassey said, “then people would be clamoring and asking why he didn’t shoot.”

Clearly, this shyster piece of shit is calling for 'preventive' killing of suspects by the criminal jackbooted bastards in blue.  LOL.

Report goes on and on.  One thing for sure.  The status quo is unsustainable.  Continues to tear our formerly great country apart.  ... Hear the rumble?

Highly reminiscent of our outrageously bought and paid for judiciary, Llano County prosecutors, Sheriff Bill Blackburn and his criminal SS jackbooted bastards in black who continue to egregiously disgrace themselves and the badge, do as they please regardless of the law and Constitution, carefully consider the following.  It's appalling.  Runs against the grain of everything our formerly great country once stood for.  No longer.

More of the same old Aryan arrogance demonstrated by the jackbooted nazi bastards in ICE.  ABC News reports:

"Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont is demanding that federal authorities recognize pardons issued by his state after a woman whose criminal record was erased was detained for deportation. The Democratic governor said Friday that he sent a letter with the demand to Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, whose department oversees Immigration and Customs Enforcement. ICE arrested Hartford resident Wayzaro Walton on Tuesday and is detaining her for deportation to England, citing convictions for felony shoplifting and several misdemeanors. Connecticut's Board of Pardons and Paroles approved a pardon for her in January, but it didn't take effect until Wednesday. Walton's lawyer Erin O'Neil-Baker says federal officials indicated they are not recognizing the pardon because it wasn't issued by the governor, who has no pardon authority."

Jesus Christ.  Nazi justice.  Fascist police-state.  Democratic republic in name only.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Madam County Attorney?  "Sonny Boy?"

In follow up to the last edition, The DailyTrib reports:

"The man shot and killed by an officer March 27 in Burnet has been identified as 25-year-old Brandon Michael Jacque of Bertram. According to the Burnet Police Department, the officer involved in the shooting was Patrol Sgt. Russell Butler, who has been with the department for three years. Butler remains on administrative leave until further notice. The Texas Rangers are investigating the shooting."

Delusionally believe the Texas Rangers are capable of doing an impartial investigation when a member of law enforcement kills under highly questionable circumstances?

In follow up to an earlier edition, CBS News reports:

"A former Mississippi Gulf Coast police officer is headed to prison for the death of her 3-year-old daughter, who was left in her mother's patrol car while the woman had sex with a police supervisor. CBS Biloxi, Miss. affiliate WLOX-TV reports ex-Long Beach, Miss. police officer Cassie Barker was sentenced Monday to 20 years in prison in the 2016 death of Cheyenne Hyer.

"Cheyenne was strapped in her car seat in the patrol car for four hours while Barker was with her then-supervisor. The car's air conditioning was turned on but it wasn't blowing cold air. Cheyenne was unresponsive and had a temperature of 107 degrees when Barker returned.

"Ladner and Barker were fired by the city of Long Beach within days. Ladner hasn't been criminally charged, telling officials he didn't know the girl was in the car. Reports at the time indicated Ladner told authorities he had taken a sleep aid and also fallen asleep. The mother had left her daughter alone in a car at least once before, at a store in nearby Gulfport in April 2015. Police responded and child welfare officials took temporary custody of the girl at the time. Barker was suspended from the Long Beach police for a week without pay. The girl's father, Ryan Hyer, said he was never notified of that first incident. "Every time I close my eyes, I picture her suffering and then I picture her laying in this coffin," he said. "I still see her smiling and laughing in my head and I would assume that smile and laughter turned to pain and suffering in that instance." The father is suing the Long Beach Police Department and the Mississippi Department of Child Protection Services for the wrongful death of his child, saying the child welfare agency should have taken stronger action after the first incident. "As a parent, you are supposed to protect your child, and Cheyenne is gone because her mother didn't protect her, not once but twice," Hyer said."

Extremely sad case.  Clincher?  Get this:

"Barker herself was hospitalized after the girl's death for what officials described as shock. A psychological exam showed Barker suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder attributed to childhood trauma and her daughter's death. She was found competent to stand trial."

Was she?  -- Not that she shouldn't have been held accountable for her daughter's death.  The problem here is that quite a few agencies, including the police department, knew there were problems.  ... Serious problems dating back to this woman's childhood.  Had the system been up to snuff, her daughter's death may have been preventable.  As a society, we've got to do far, far better than we're doing.

No longer.

The following is well beyond appalling.  It's horrendous.  Profound Valor to the pit of injustice.  The Washington Post reports:

"Militants in southern Afghanistan had already salted the earth with bombs when Sgt. Dominic Esquibel led his Marines through Sangin. On his final patrol, the ground ruptured under his feet in an explosion of light and blood. The blast tore at his right arm and shattered parts of his right leg and foot. “I thank God it was me,” he told author Bing West from a hospital bed in 2011, “rather than one of my men.” Doctors were barely able to salvage Esquibel’s foot. He wears an carbon-fiber exoskeleton brace to help him walk and run."

The following, hellacious:

"And that vulnerable spot is where Esquibel said a U.S. Park Ranger gave swift kicks during an arrest over a parking space for the disabled at Sequoia National Park in 2012, prompting a lawsuit claiming assault and false arrest. The federal government settled for $250,000 in March to avoid a trial scheduled for last week. A charge of failing to follow a lawful order was dropped in 2014. “I’m grateful,” Esquibel said of the settlement — and the whole ordeal being over — during an interview with The Washington Post. Esquibel says the alleged assault not only left him in “excruciating” pain, but also that the blows were so severe that his health problems cascaded to high blood pressure and sleepless nights. His foot is now a total loss, he said, which he attributes to the incident. “I’m getting it amputated now because he didn’t stop,” Esquibel said."

If the above is true, that is, how it all went down, how the f--k is the settlement just?

"All of the descriptions of the incident in this story are according to Esquibel’s account. He and his family took the trip to Sequoia National Park outside Fresno in December 2012. When they arrived, he flashed a free handicapped park admission pass to the entrance employee, who warned they could not venture all the way through the park without snow chains, or enter the park for a quick family photo until traffic cleared up. So Esquibel pulled into a parking spot, put up his disability placard and left to find a restroom. “You can’t park there; it’s a handicapped spot,” the employee yelled out to him. He said he was disabled. “I can see that you’re not,” she snapped back, threatening to call the police. “Please do,” he replied."

Big mistake.

"She spoke into a radio and two rangers arrived, one of them identified as Ranger Parrack. They demanded that Esquibel produce a handicapped driver’s license. He said the special license wasn’t required because his car wasn’t adaptive, but that his placard should be enough. Parrack threatened to throw Esquibel to the ground and said he was under arrest. He contorted Esquibel’s stiff and scarred arm — which had just been operated on a few months before the trip — as his wife watched. Then Parrack kicked Esquibel’s feet to separate his legs. Esquibel grimaced in agony, shouting about his war injury as his wife cried out. He couldn’t spread his legs any farther, and trying to balance himself only prompted the ranger to kick him more, he said."

How the bastard gets his cookies off?

“I told my wife to remove herself and get in the car,” he said, “so at least there would be a witness to hold him accountable.” When Esquibel said that to his wife, Parrack stopped to question what he meant. Esquibel reeled in pain. “I’m combat wounded, and you’re kicking my salvaged limb,” Esquibel said he told Parrack, whose partner stood nearby. Parrack pulled up Esquibel’s jeans leg to reveal the brace. As he did so, his partner muttered an expletive, indicating they knew they had messed up, according to Esquibel. Parrack stuffed Esquibel into a vehicle and issued a citation for “failure to follow a lawful order,” documents show. He was later released. That charge was later dropped."

Imagine that.

Get this:

"In 2004, Esquibel rained hand grenades on insurgents in Fallujah and braved enemy fire to evacuate two wounded Marines and carrying out the body of a third. He was awarded the Navy Cross, second only to the Medal of Honor, but declined to accept it. “He didn’t feel right about the award,” said Butch Wagner, an attorney for Esquibel. “He said it was something fellow Marines would have done for him.” Esquibel declined to discuss his time in uniform."

Uncommon Valor.

"It is unclear whether Parrack or any other park staff were disciplined over the incident. The Sequoia and Kings Canyon national parks did not return a request for comment. The Interior Department, named a party in the lawsuit, declined to comment and referred questions to the Justice Department. A spokeswoman there confirmed the settlement but declined to comment further."

Why?  Not proud of how this government goon conducted himself?

"Esquibel suggested that rangers could be better trained to recognize and accommodate visitors with disabilities. “It is my hope that this will prompt other law enforcement to think twice before repeating the same missteps and causing further misfortune for others with disabilities,” he said. That is a start, he said, and so is the money from a settlement. But his recovery is far from over; the amputation will come within the next couple months. “Time to chop it off,” he said."

No justice.

The following is inexplicable.  Horrendous.  The Washington Post reports:

"Officials at Damascus High School in suburban Maryland waited more than 12 hours to tell police about credible allegations that several junior-varsity football players pinned a teammate in a locker room, pulled his pants down and sexually assaulted him with a broomstick, interviews and documents show. The school officials held off despite discussing among themselves in a group text message on Oct. 31 — seen by The Washington Post — the names of a victim and three possible assailants. Instead of calling police, they launched their own inquiry and on Nov. 1, plucked students one-by-one from class as they questioned suspects, learned the names of three more victims and then took statements from those boys. None of the victims was sent for medical care. All went back to classes without their parents being called. The lag appears glaring for the nationally regarded Montgomery County school system, which operates under a formal agreement with police to report immediately any sexual assaults to the department’s special victims unit for investigation."

What could these officials possibly been thinking?

“It’s absolutely absurd what the school did,” James Humphries, a retired commander of the Montgomery County police special victims unit said in an interview. He is not part of the current case, but during his nine years with the unit, he helped teach principals about when to report incidents. “They’re not trained to do these types of investigations and these types of interviews.”

Without question, the job of law enforcement.

"The four victims were 14 or 15. Their accused attackers, all 15. Each faces a count of rape and three counts of attempted rape, a crime that in Maryland includes nonconsensual acts that use an object."

The report goes on and on.  The following is just the very beginning of it:

"The Post corroborated text messages and detailed statements made by administrators, students and their families during hours of questioning by detectives, and interviewed more than 15 people involved in the case, to add extensive new accounts beyond the information already in public court and police filings. Those new accounts say as many as 10 JV players watched through a window into the freshman area of the locker room as the attacks unfolded and victims screamed as their attackers laughed. “There were lots of bystanders,” one of the victims wrote in a statement at school. “They did not help.” Talk of “brooming” was widespread among the 2018 JV team, sometimes conveyed in a joking way and other times as a threat, detectives were told in interviews."

What do you think of the following?  CBS News reports:

"In a case that stirred racial tensions across the country, a self-avowed white supremacist pleaded guilty Wednesday to federal hate crime charges in a deadly attack at a white nationalist rally in Virginia, admitting that he intentionally plowed his speeding car into a crowd of anti-racism protesters, killing a woman and injuring dozens. James Alex Fields Jr. of Maumee, Ohio, pleaded guilty to 29 of 30 federal charges stemming from the "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville on Aug. 12, 2017. Heather Heyer, a 32-year-old paralegal and civil rights activist, was killed, and nearly three dozen others were injured. Under a plea agreement, federal prosecutors will not seek the death penalty against Fields and will dismiss the one count that carried death as a possible punishment. The charges he pleaded guilty to call for life in prison under federal sentencing guidelines.

"Under a "statement of facts," Fields admitted that he "expressed and promoted" white supremacist ideology through his social media accounts and engaged in white supremacist chants during the rally in Charlottesville. He also admitted driving his car into the ethnically diverse crowd of anti-racism protesters because of their race, color, religion or national origin. Urbanski scheduled sentencing for July 3.

"Fields, 21, was convicted in December in a Virginia court of first-degree murder and other state charges.

"The rally drew hundreds of white nationalists to Charlottesville to protest the planned removal of a statue of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee. Hundreds of counterprotesters demonstrated against the white nationalists. President Trump sparked a national uproar when he blamed the violence at the rally on "both sides," a statement critics saw as a refusal to condemn racism."

Think the victims of this crime will find closure?

"After Tuesday's hearing, U.S. Attorney Thomas Cullen said he hoped the plea agreement would help the victims move on with their lives. "The defendant's hate-inspired act of domestic terrorism not only devastated Heather Heyer's wonderful family and the 28 peaceful protesters ... but it also left an indelible mark on the city of Charlottesville, our state and our country," Cullen said. Cullen said prosecutors had been in talks with Fields' lawyers for months about a potential plea agreement, but did not seek to finalize a deal until U.S. Attorney General William Barr last week authorized him not to seek the death penalty if Fields agreed to plead to 29 counts."

Fields clearly wished to avoid execution.  His victim wasn't so lucky.

"During his state trial, prosecutors said Fields — who described himself on social media as an admirer of Adolf Hitler — drove his car into the crowd because he was angry after witnessing earlier clashes between the white nationalists and the counterprotesters. The jury rejected a claim by Fields' lawyers that he acted in self-defense because he feared for his life after witnessing the earlier violence. During the plea hearing Wednesday, Fields — responding to questions from the judge — said he has been treated for mental health issues since he was 6. He said he is currently on medication for bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, schizoid disorder, explosive onset disorder and ADHD."

Think that excuses his criminal behavior?

"More than 30 people were hurt in the car attack. Some who received life-altering injuries described them in anguished detail during the state trial. Jurors in Fields' state trial recommended a life sentence plus 419 years, although a judge still has to decide on the punishment. Sentencing is scheduled for July 15.

In an opinion piece, NBC News reports:

"The highest criminal justice priority of the current Supreme Court majority is apparently to make the state’s machinery of death work as efficiently as possible — and if this means some major rights violations along the way, they seemed to say on Monday, so be it. That was made evident when a bare majority of the court held that the Eighth Amendment’s prohibition on “cruel and unusual punishment” does not forbid the state of Missouri from executing a prisoner in a way that would effectively torture him to death. If that outcome seems perverse to you, you’re right. But the Roberts Court is committed to allowing states to execute people in any barbaric manner, no matter how difficult such executions are to square with the text of the Constitution. The current issue is thus: The state of Missouri has had to adjust its lethal injection protocols because drug suppliers are increasingly unwilling — as is their prerogative — to participate in a practice that is considered contrary to basic principles of human rights by most democratic nations. Missouri’s proposed solution to the lack of availability of its preferred execution drugs is a method of lethal injection would be particularly cruel to Russell Bucklew, who was convicted of murder and other crimes 22 years ago. As Justice Breyer described it in his dissent, Bucklew presented evidence that “executing him by lethal injection will cause the tumors that grow in his throat to rupture during his execution, causing him to sputter, choke and suffocate on his own blood for up to several minutes before he dies.”

Raw nazism.  Worthy of Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy.  Not the United States.  Yet, here we are.  Clearly, the five Republican nazis on the Court are highly reminiscent of Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini.  ... Raising the question, -- who really won the Second World War European Theater?

"Bucklew, then, was not arguing that the death penalty is categorically unconstitutional, or even that the method of lethal injection used by Missouri was always unconstitutional, but that the method applied in his particular case would be “cruel and unusual” because of his particular medical condition."

Reason, logic no longer matter in a de facto fascist police-state masquerading as a democratic republic.

"The majority opinion, written by Trump nominee Neil Gorsuch and joined by the other four Republican nominees, nonetheless dismissed Bucklew’s argument. According to Gorsuch, “the Eighth Amendment does not guarantee a prisoner a painless death — something that, of course, isn’t guaranteed to many people, including most victims of capital crimes.” Inflicting even excruciating pain on a prisoner in the course of executing him, therefore, does not necessarily violate the Eighth Amendment in the view of the Roberts Court."

Makes one 'proud' to be an American, doesn't it?  Where have we lost ourselves?  Where?  Raw nazism.  Those who gutlessly remain silent in the presence of great evil are not Americans.  They're cowards.

What do you think of the following?  The Washington Post reports:

"For the past 147 years, California law enforcement officials have operated under a use-of-force statute adopted when the state was still a lightly governed frontier. It allows police officers to use deadly force when “arresting persons charged with felony, and who are fleeing from justice or resisting such arrest.” That was effectively replaced in 1989 when the U.S. Supreme Court stated that lethal force is justified against a suspect if a “reasonable” officer would have acted the same way in the same situation. A bill now before the State Assembly would raise that threshold. Under the pending legislation, a police officer would be justified in using lethal force only if it were determined to be “necessary” to defend against imminent death or severe harm."

Think that sufficient?  ... Or, does it still provide corrupt, abusive, jackbooted bastards in blue far too much leeway to murder on the job and get away with it?

"California law enforcement associations, among the state’s most powerful lobbies, oppose the bill, which could serve as a national precedent. Police chiefs to line officers have thrown their support behind another bill, now in the state Senate, that would officially make the “reasonable” officer standard state law and seek a large increase in funding for police training."

Sadly, these criminal jackbooted bastards in blue continue to demand carte blanche to murder on the job with impunity.  No more complicated than that.  They simply don't 'get it.'

“We do need more money for training,” said Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon (D-Los Angeles). “But to a large extent [the Senate bill] maintains the status quo, and that’s just not satisfactory right now.”

That's right.  ... Hear the rumble?  An unwanted dreaded second American revolution catastrophically looming.

"At the center of the debate is perhaps the most volatile issue of the Black Lives Matter era: the perceived impunity for police officers involved in fatal shootings. It is also part of a broader push in California — propelled by an overwhelmingly Democratic state government — to address criminal justice practices that have fallen hardest on people of color."

Readers are reminded all races are subject to these exceptionally barbaric murderous practices of the criminal jackbooted bastards in blue.  All across this country.

“We lose loved ones, too, and we understand the tragedy and loss,” said Citrus Heights Police Chief Ronald Lawrence, the new president of the California Police Chiefs Association, who noted that 144 police officers were killed in the line of duty last year, including 11 in California."

Far more innocent unarmed civilians are killed by police each year all across our formerly great nation.  The full number is not known due to the fact many of these deaths are falsely labeled 'justified' by 'investigators' in the pocket of law enforcement.  To say nothing of corrupt, abusive prosecutors who back up these criminal jackbooted bastards in uniform no matter what they do or don't do.

"Lawrence, whose membership opposes changing the use-of-force standard, said that “what a lot of us need to do is ratchet down the rhetoric and understand that police forces are reflections of our communities.” His message is for suspects “to cooperate, then complain” about alleged officer misconduct. “This is the mantra we hope the community will adopt,” he said."

Jesus Christ.  What a goddamned crock of shit.  This man is clueless.  Ignores the fact officers all across this country determinedly, concertedly ignore civil and constitutional  rights and liberties.  As constantly reported in this publication and other media.  Doesn't understand the nazi jackbooted mentality of these goons is progressively leading to the unthinkable.  An unwanted dreaded second American revolution catastrophically looming.

“They’re very worried about a change in standard and, you know how pendulums move, that the pendulum will go so far as to make officers feel like they can’t do their jobs,” said state Sen. President Toni Atkins (D-San Diego). “There’s a reality to that.”

That's a crock of shit.  -- Standard mantra we've heard the last sixty years or so.  If officers cannot do their jobs non-abusively, constitutionally, they have no business in the profession.  They're not fit.  ... Right, Sheriff?

Nothing quite like buying your way out of a murder.  The Washington Post reports:

"The children of slain Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi have received million-dollar houses in the kingdom and monthly five-figure payments as compensation for the killing of their father, according to current and former Saudi officials as well as people close to the family. Khashoggi’s two sons and two daughters may also receive much larger payouts — possibly tens of millions of dollars apiece — as part of “blood money” negotiations that are expected to ensue when the trials of Khashoggi’s accused killers are completed in the coming months, according to the officials and others who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive talks. The previously undisclosed payments are part of an effort by Saudi Arabia to reach a long-term arrangement with Khashoggi family members, aimed in part at ensuring that they continue to show restraint in their public statements about the killing of their father by Saudi operatives in Istanbul six months ago, the officials said."

Blood money.  Guess where the Saudis got this loot.  Wake up.  From us.  At the gas pump.  Ripped off for decades.

"The Khashoggi siblings have refrained from any harsh criticism of the kingdom, even as their father’s death provoked global outrage and widespread condemnation of the heir to the Saudi throne, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The delivery of homes and monthly payments of $10,000 or more to each sibling were approved late last year by King Salman as part of what one former official described as an acknowledgment that “a big injustice has been done” and an attempt “to make a wrong right.” But the royal family is also relying on its wealth to help contain the ongoing fallout from the killing and dismemberment of the prominent Saudi journalist and Washington Post contributing columnist who was targeted for articles that were often critical of the government. A Saudi official described the payments as consistent with the country’s long-standing practice of providing financial support to victims of violent crime or even natural disasters and rejected the suggestion that the Khashoggi family would be obligated to remain silent. “Such support is part of our custom and culture,” the official said. “It is not attached to anything else.”

Fallout continues.  NBC News reports:

"All nine Republican members of the House Intelligence Committee have signed a letter calling for its chairman, Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff, to step down, citing his claims that there was evidence that President Donald Trump's campaign colluded with the Russians during the 2016 race. Rep. Mike Conaway, R-Texas, introduced the scathing letter during a public committee hearing Thursday and then read it aloud. "Your willingness to continue to promote a demonstrably false narrative is alarming," Conaway said. "The findings of the special counsel conclusively refute your past and present exertions, and have exposed you of having abused your position to knowingly promote false information." "Your actions both past and present are incompatible with your duty as chairman of this committee," Conaway added. "As such, we have no faith in your ability to discharge your duties in a manner consistent with your constitutional responsibility, and urge your immediate resignation as chairman of the committee."

The Chairman came out swinging:

"Schiff then defended himself, listing off a series of events investigated by Mueller that he deemed inappropriate, including when the president's eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., set up a meeting at Trump Tower with a Kremlin-linked lawyer and her Russian entourage after they offered unspecified Russian government "dirt" on Democratic president candidate Hillary Clinton. "My colleagues may think it is OK that the Russians offered dirt on a Democratic candidate for president as part of what was described as the Russian government's attempt to help the Trump campaign. You might think that's OK," Schiff said. "My colleagues might think it's OK that when it was offered to the son of the president, who had a pivotal role in the campaign, that the president's son did not call the FBI, he did not adamantly refuse that foreign help. No, instead that son said that he would love the help of the Russian."

Certainly, true.  Stunning, isn't it, Republicans conveniently ignored this and far, far more?  Clearly, have no honor, no principles.  -- Other than lining their pockets, imposing their brand of national socialism, fascism.  ... To say nothing of dictating to a woman what she can and cannot do with HER uterus.

"Referring to former White House national security adviser Michael Flynn, who admitted to lying to the FBI about the substance of his conversations with the then-Russian ambassador, Schiff continued: "You might think it's OK that the national security adviser-designate secretly conferred with Russian ambassador about undermining sanctions, and you might think it's OK he lied about it to the FBI. You might say that's all OK." "But I don't think its OK. I think it's immoral. I think it's unethical, and I think it is unpatriotic," Schiff said. "And yes, I think it is corrupt. And evidence of collusion." "Now, I have always said whether this amounts to proof of conspiracy is another matter. Whether the special counsel could prove beyond a reasonable doubt the proof of that crime would be up to the special counsel, and I would accept his decision and I do," the California lawmaker added."

The problem remains the same.  The public has not, and will not, likely ever see the full unredacted Mueller Report and its support documents.  Until that happens, there is no way the public will accept the word of the Attorney General who was, and is, in the pocket of the Trump nazi.  Precisely, why the nazi in the Oval Office nominated him for the job.

Fortunately, Democrats who now hold the House intend to conduct an investigation of the Trump nazi that will be nowhere near as restricted as was the Mueller investigation.  Not only that, federal and state prosecutors in New York are conducting full blown investigations of their own.  All of this is far from over.  -- Despite the fact the Trump nazi continues to take victory laps.

The Washington Post reports:

"Senior House Democrats, frustrated by the Trump administration’s unwillingness to comply with multiple congressional investigations, are seriously considering withholding money from key administration priorities until their document requests are met. Democrats argue that the White House, which has dismissed many of their probes into President Trump and the administration as overreach, is preventing Congress from conducting oversight. The appropriations process, they say, is one of their strongest forms of leverage to pressure Cabinet officials or agency chiefs who have been uncooperative. “One of the most important tools that Congress has to hold the executive branch accountable is the power of the purse,” said House Appropriations Chairwoman Nita M. Lowey (D-N.Y.) in a statement. “As we write appropriations bills, we will exercise that power to ensure that the Trump administration respects the critical oversight role of the legislative branch.”

Oversight is indeed a legitimate function of Congress.

"The possibility of depriving federal agencies of money for certain priorities or management offices could escalate the standoff between the executive and legislative branches — or, Democrats hope, speed along their investigations. It’s still unclear which departments could feel the squeeze. But in the coming weeks, as House Democratic appropriators write bills funding agencies and departments across the federal government, they will be working with chairmen to find what one official called “pressure points” to force compliance, according to multiple senior House Democrats familiar with the strategy."

Not all in Republican circles are on board with the Trump nazi.  The Washington Post reports:

"Mick Mulvaney is trying to achieve as acting White House chief of staff what he never could as a conservative firebrand in Congress. Mulvaney this week helped persuade President Trump to get behind a legal effort aimed at striking down the Affordable Care Act over the objections of some in the administration and Republican leadership on Capitol Hill. His pitch came during scheduled “policy time” with Trump on Monday and spanned several meetings throughout the day. It was met with resistance from some on the president’s legal team and his Justice Department, as well as with skepticism from Vice President Pence, who favors overturning President Barack Obama’s namesake health-care law but only if Republicans are ready with an alternative, according to White House officials familiar with the discussions who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe the private talks. But Trump — fresh off a victory lap following the conclusion of special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s Russia investigation — agreed with Mulvaney and was eager to forge ahead into dismantling his predecessor’s health law. “The Republican Party will soon be known as the party of health care,” the president enthused while walking into a lunch of Republican senators Tuesday. He seemed to try to justify his administration’s unexpected decision, telling reporters in the Oval Office on Wednesday that “if the Supreme Court rules that Obamacare is out, we’ll have a plan that is far better than Obamacare.”

Haven't to date.  Despite having over two years to do so.

"Mulvaney and his allies have told Trump that joining a lawsuit to overturn the ACA will help him fulfill a campaign promise and could help lead to his reelection, but congressional Republicans worry he’s sent the president on a suicide mission. While Republicans are united in their opposition to Obama’s signature health-care law, they remain divided on how to replace it, and Democrats are eager to exploit this tension while making health care a centerpiece of the 2020 campaign."

Trump is extremely shortsighted.  Thinks only in the moment.  The here and now.  Fails to consider long-term consequences.

The New York Times reports:

"The Trump administration’s surprise decision to press for a court-ordered demolition of the Affordable Care Act came after a heated meeting in the Oval Office on Monday, where the president’s acting chief of staff and others convinced him that he could do through the courts what he could not do through Congress: repeal his predecessor’s signature achievement. Mick Mulvaney, the acting White House chief of staff and former South Carolina congressman, had spent years in the House saying that the health law should be repealed, and his handpicked head of the Domestic Policy Council, Joe Grogan, supported the idea of joining a Republican attorneys general lawsuit to invalidate the entire Affordable Care Act. That suit, and the Justice Department, initially pressed to nullify only the part of the law that forces insurance companies to cover people with pre-existing medical conditions as well as a suite of health benefits deemed “essential,” such as pregnancy and maternal health, mental health and prescription drugs. But a district judge in Texas ruled that the entire law was rendered unconstitutional when President Trump’s tax law brought the tax penalty for not having health insurance to zero, and the administration faced a choice: stick with its more limited intervention or back the judge’s decision."

The judge's decision is under fire throughout the legal community.  Be interesting to see if it stands.  Trump chose to back the judge.

"Among those with concerns was Pat Cipollone, the White House counsel, who shared that the new attorney general, William P. Barr, opposed such a move. Vice President Mike Pence was worried about the political ramifications of moving ahead without a strategy or a plan to handle the millions who could be left suddenly uninsured if the suit succeeded. The health and human services secretary, Alex M. Azar II, was on speakerphone during the meeting and also voiced concern about the move, people familiar with the call said. And Marc Short, Mr. Pence’s chief of staff, suggested that it was risky for Mr. Trump’s administration to be at odds with so many Republican attorneys general on such a key issue. But Mr. Trump had been sold, and on Monday night, the Justice Department issued a letter saying it supported the Texas judge’s decision."

There certainly were consequences:

"The blowback has been severe. Representative Kevin McCarthy of California, the House Republican leader, who is close with Mr. Trump, had privately warned the president not to interrupt the “victory lap” he should be taking after the delivery of the report by the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III. Mr. Mueller, according to a letter by Mr. Barr, found no criminal conspiracy between the Trump campaign and the Russian government."

What victory lap?  The investigations in the House, to say nothing of federal and state prosecutors in New York are far from over.

"The reaction was even more intense in the Senate. Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, the majority leader, had planned to use the week to publicize his floor vote to force Democrats to take a stand on progressives’ Green New Deal — an important party-building exercise for Republicans after Mr. Trump’s decision to declare an emergency at the border sparked an insurrection in their ranks this month. Members of Mr. McConnell’s leadership team were incensed at Mr. Mulvaney and allies like the acting White House budget director, Russell Vought, for rekindling a fight that served Democrats so well in 2018 and could harm vulnerable incumbents in 2020, according to two senior aides with direct knowledge of the situation. The maneuver may make it much less likely that Mr. Vought, the chief of staff’s handpicked successor to head the Office of Management and Budget, will be confirmed by the Senate, the aides said."

The Washington Post reports:

"Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) has signaled that he does not plan to play a leading role in developing a new health-care bill and will instead wait to see what President Trump can craft that might pass in the Democratic-led House. “I look forward to seeing what the president is proposing and what he can work out with the speaker,” McConnell said in a brief interview with Politico on Thursday. His comments come as Trump is urging Republicans to be “the party of healthcare” and produce a replacement for the Affordable Care Act in advance of the 2020 elections."

Fascinating, isn't it?

The Washington Post reports:

"President Trump signaled Monday night that he will not press for a vote on a bill to replace the Affordable Care Act until after next year’s elections, apparently heeding warnings from fellow Republicans about the perils of such a fight during campaign season. In a series of late-night tweets, Trump continued to bash President Barack Obama’s signature health-care law but said a vote on a replacement would not occur until after the elections — suggesting that he believes he would still be in the White House and that Republicans would control both chambers of Congress at that point. “Vote will be taken right after the Election when Republicans hold the Senate & win back the House,” Trump wrote. “It will be truly great HealthCare that will work for America.”

Trump certainly nominates people as ethically-challenged as himself.  NPR reports:

"During a testy confirmation hearing on Thursday, President Donald Trump's pick to be the nation's largest land steward told senators that he would take steps to prevent conflicts of interest and to improve ethics guidelines at the Interior Department. A former lobbyist who represented oil and gas interests, David Bernhardt has been dogged by questions about his own ethics during his short run as the Acting Interior Secretary. Democrats and environmental groups have accused the former Deputy Interior Secretary of making policy decisions that favor former clients."

Think Trump has his act together?  The Washington Post reports:

"President Trump said Thursday he wants the federal government to continue funding the Special Olympics, an abrupt reversal from his own budget proposal that eliminated federal money for the charity and sparked bipartisan condemnation. His statement on the South Lawn of the White House came after his education secretary, Betsy DeVos, spent three days defending the proposal, most recently at a contentious Senate hearing Thursday morning. “The Special Olympics will be funded, I just told my people,” Trump told reporters. The funding was never in any real jeopardy, with key Republicans vowing to maintain the allocation. But the matter was quickly becoming a political problem for the president. Special Olympics, which gives people with intellectual disabilities the chance to compete in athletics on a world stage, has long enjoyed robust and bipartisan support. For the third year, the Trump budget had proposed to end federal support for the organization. The issue received scant attention in years past, as lawmakers ignored the Trump proposal and instead increased the charity’s funding, which stands at $17.6 million this year."

No question, Trump's an idiot.  Aren't we 'lucky?'

The following is beyond appalling.  It's atrocious.  NPR reports:

"President Trump's pick to serve as third in command at the Justice Department, overseeing health care and immigration cases, withdrew her name from consideration Thursday evening amid backlash from conservative lawmakers on the Senate Judiciary Committee. Jessie Liu leads more than 300 prosecutors as the U.S. attorney in Washington, D.C., the nation's largest such office. As an Asian-American woman, she would have added a measure of diversity to the Justice Department's senior ranks — as well as serious prosecution chops. The Justice Department said Liu will remain in her current post and advise Attorney General William Barr as the head of a committee of other top federal prosecutors. Two sources told NPR that the attorney general got into a "shouting match" with Utah Republican Sen. Mike Lee, a key figure in opposing Liu's bid. A spokeswoman for Barr declined comment on the heated conversation with a lawmaker from his own political party. For his part, Barr issued a statement filled with praise for Liu and insisting, "We will all benefit from her universally-regarded expertise and dedication to public service" in her role as an adviser to him.

"Four lawyers familiar with the matter said the stumbling block for Liu was a broader concern about her conservatism — specifically, her stance on women's reproductive rights. Interest groups had begun drafting letters to senators about their fears that Liu would not support restrictions on abortion. Another key factor: Earlier in her career, Liu had an affiliation with the National Association of Women Lawyers, which sent a letter opposing the nomination of Justice Samuel Alito to the Supreme Court."

Can't have that, can we?  LOL.  Especially, in light of the following:

"Philip Alito, a son of the justice, works for the antitrust subcommittee in the Senate, a subcommittee that is chaired by Lee."

Fascinating, isn't it?

"But Liu's friends and former colleagues point out that she had actually signed a separate letter along with fellow Yale Law School alumni throwing her support behind Alito.  "The department and the administration were incredibly fortunate to have a person of Jessie's ability to serve in that capacity," a former Justice Department official told NPR. "She was incredibly qualified for this position, and it's a real shame that they are not going to have the benefit of her leadership." Conn Carroll, a spokesman for Lee, said the senator opposed Liu "due to questions about her record on life issues." Carroll said that Philip Alito "took diligent care to recuse himself from all staff conversations about Mrs. Liu with the senator." And Carroll added that he was "unaware" of any tension between his boss and Barr."

Bottom line?  Clearly, only bona fide Republican nazis on the Extreme Right need be third in command at the 'Justice' Department.  Raw nazism.

Trump loses again in court. The Washington Post reports:

"A federal judge in Alaska declared late Friday that President Trump’s order revoking a sweeping ban on oil and gas drilling in the Arctic and Atlantic oceans is illegal, putting 128 million acres of federal waters off limits to energy exploration."

Doesn't your heart bleed?  Time for a massive Manhattan Project-style effort to free the nation from fossil fuels in favor of solar and wind.

"The decision by U.S. District Judge Sharon Gleason is the third legal setback this week to Trump’s energy and environmental policies. The judge, who was appointed to the federal bench by President Barack Obama in 2012, also blocked on Friday a land swap the Interior Department arranged that would pave the way for constructing a road through wilderness in a major National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska. Earlier this week, U.S. District Judge Lewis T. Babcock, who was appointed by President Ronald Reagan, ruled that Interior’s Bureau of Land Management and U.S. Forest Service illegally approved two gas drilling plans in western Colorado. The judge said officials did not adequately analyze wildlife and climate impacts in their plans — which were challenged by a coalition of environmental groups — to drill 171 wells in North Fork Valley, which provides key habitat for elk and mule deer."

Readers are reminded the judge is a Reagan appointee.  Interesting, isn't it?

"Trump’s rollbacks of Obama-era conservation policies have suffered nearly two dozen setbacks in federal court, largely on procedural grounds. While the administration is appealing many of these decisions and holds an advantage if the cases reach the Supreme Court, the rulings have slowed the president’s drive to expand fossil fuel production in the United States."

Forget?  The Trump nazi owns the Supreme Court.  How?  Five bona fide Republican nazis secure the national socialist, achingly fascist majority on the Court.  They'll likely ultimately enforce the Trump nazi's will.

Regarding judicial impediments to the Trump nazi:

"Earlier this month, for example, a federal judge halted drilling on more than 300,000 acres of oil and gas leases in Wyoming. Friday’s decision on offshore drilling could affect a five-year leasing plan the administration plans to issue in the summer, as well as block the six offshore lease sales it proposed to schedule in the Arctic Ocean starting as early as this year. "President Trump’s lawlessness is catching up with him,” Erik Grafe, the lead attorney from the environmental law organization Earthjustice who argued to reinstate Obama’s leasing withdrawals in the Arctic and Atlantic, said in a statement Friday. “The judge’s ruling today shows that the president can not just trample on the constitution to do the bidding of his cronies in the fossil fuel industry at the expense of our oceans, wildlife, and climate.”

We'll see.

Think Trump and most of his henchmen truly give a crap about national security?  At least, one advisor and staff doThe Washington Post reports:

"A White House whistleblower told lawmakers that more than two dozen denials for security clearances have been overturned during the Trump administration, calling Congress her “last hope” for addressing what she considers improper conduct that has left the nation’s secrets exposed."

Hat's off, madam.  At least one adviser and staff are decent, honorable, scrupulous.

"Tricia Newbold, a longtime White House security adviser, told the House Oversight and Reform Committee that she and her colleagues issued “dozens” of denials for security clearance applications that were later approved despite their concerns about blackmail, foreign influence or other red flags, according to panel documents released Monday."

Surprised?  Why?  Forget?  Our nazi fuhrer in the Oval Office does as he pleases.

"Newbold, an 18-year veteran of the security clearance process who has served under both Republican and Democratic presidents, said she warned her superiors that clearances “were not always adjudicated in the best interest of national security” — and was retaliated against for doing so."

Takes great courage to stand up against outrageous corruption.

“I would not be doing a service to myself, my country, or my children if I sat back knowing that the issues that we have could impact national security,” Newbold told the committee, according to a panel document summarizing her allegations."

Imagine that.  Exceptionally rare honor still to be found in the halls of government.  Can we stand it?

"Newbold added: “I feel that right now this is my last hope to really bring the integrity back into our office.”

Have you spoken to media?

"The allegation comes during an escalating fight over the issue between House Democrats and the White House. Rep. Elijah E. Cummings (D-Md.), the committee chairman, said in a letter to the White House Counsel’s Office that his panel would vote on Tuesday to subpoena at least one individual who overruled Newbold — the committee’s first compulsory move aimed at the White House."

What took so long?  What are you waiting for?

"Cummings vowed more subpoenas would follow if the White House didn’t cooperate with his panel’s investigation."

Excellent.  Make sure you follow through.  Enough hot air.  Time for action.

"White House officials whose security clearances are being scrutinized by the House Oversight Committee include the president’s daughter Ivanka Trump, her husband Jared Kushner and national security adviser John Bolton, according to the panel’s letter. The White House declined immediate comment on Monday, and an attorney for Kushner and Ivanka Trump referred questions to the White House."

... Can't dazzle 'em with brilliance, baffle 'em with bullshit?

"In a statement, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), the top Republican on the House Oversight Committee, accused Cummings of politicizing an issue that should be bipartisan. “Chairman Cummings’ investigation is not about restoring integrity to the security clearance process, it is an excuse to go fishing through the personal files of dedicated public servants,” Jordan said. “The process by which this matter has so far progressed has been anything but fair.”"

Your quest for bipartisanship is disingenuous bullshit, Congressman.  All you GOP national socialists in the House did during the first two years of the Trump regime was protect and coddle the nazi.  Fairness?  Jesus Christ.  Give me a break.  Democrats have held the House for approximately three months.  Dragged their feet.  Done shit squat.  Especially, in light of the Trump nazi stonewalling the last two years:

"The Trump administration has refused to comply with numerous document requests and inquiries Cummings has made on the topic over the past two years. Cummings identified the security clearance process as one of his top priorities after Democrats took the majority in the House in the fall, but his panel has not received a single document from the White House on the issue."

Ask your fuhrer why, Rep. Jordan?  What the f--k is he hiding, sir?

“The Committee has given the White House every possible opportunity to cooperate with this investigation, but you have declined,” Cummings wrote in the Monday letter to White House counsel Pat Cipollone. “Your actions are now preventing the committee from obtaining the information it needs to fulfill its constitutional responsibilities.”

You're all talk, Rep. Cummings.  Issue the subpoenas.  Get on with it.  The nation is waiting.

"Cummings later argued: “In light of the grave reports from this whistleblower — and the ongoing refusal of the White House to provide the information we need to conduct our investigation — the committee now plans to proceed with compulsory process and begin authorizing subpoenas, starting at tomorrow’s business meeting.”

You're dragging your feet.  The bastards have had more than enough time to comply with information requests.  Issue the goddamned subpoenas.

"The controversy, Democrats argue, strikes at the heart of their investigations into President Trump. They believe Trump has abused his power and bent the rules to accommodate himself, his children and his allies. And the security clearance issue, they argue, is an example of how he has put his own desires before the interests of the nation."

Seems to be the case.  Certainly, worthy of investigation.

"Multiple newspapers, including The Washington Post, reported that Trump early last year directed his then-chief of staff, John F. Kelly, to give Kushner a top-secret security clearance — a move that made Kelly so uncomfortable that he documented the request in writing, according to current and former administration officials."

Readers will recall that was covered here and elsewhere at the time.

"Newbold expressed fear in coming forward, telling the panel, “I’m terrified of going back. I know that this will not be perceived in favor of my intentions, which is to bring back the integrity of the office.”

Why would it be?  How could it be?  This government has been hopelessly corrupt, abusive quite some time.  Trump and his henchmen merely exponentially increased an already existent problem.

"She said she has already faced retaliation for declining to issue security clearances and challenging her superiors as they sought to implement clearance-process changes she disagreed with during the Trump administration. Newbold said she was suspended without pay for 14 days in late January despite “no prior formal disciplinary action” in her nearly two-decade tenure. And when she returned, she was removed from her position as a “second level adjudicator” on security clearances and is no longer a direct supervisor."

Why haven't you found a lawyer and sued the living shit out of the bastards?  What are you waiting for?  You'll likely wind up getting fired anyway for standing up to them.

This lady has certainly heroically done her homework to lay the groundwork of such a case:

"In her interview with the committee, which was conducted over a weekend, Newbold told the panel that she began keeping a list of employees whose applications were denied but were later given clearances despite concerns about their ties to foreign influence, conflicts of interests, questionable or criminal conduct, financial problems or drug abuse. That tally now reaches 25, she said, “including two current senior White House officials, as well as contractors and individuals throughout different components of the Executive Office of the President,” the letter says. Newbold named several superiors she took her concerns to, including: Director of Personnel Security Carl Kline; his immediate supervisor, Chief Operations Officer Samuel Price; White House Counsel’s Office; the assistant to the president Marcia Kelly; and Chief Security Officer Crede Bailey. Newbold told the panel that she knew her denials of security clearances could be overruled. But she was initially concerned about a lack of documentation that went into those decisions and said those were made “without memorializing the risks they were accepting.”

Fascinating, isn't it?  Not surprising since, again, we have a nazi fuhrer in the Oval Office.  -- Who does precisely as he pleases.  Forget?

"In the case of one top White House official, merely described as “Official 1” in committee documents, Newbold said Kline overruled her and another employee’s denial of an application amid concerns about foreign influence. But Kline, she said, “failed to address all of the disqualifying concerns listed by Ms. Newbold and the first-line adjudicator,” according to a committee summary of her response. Newbold said another agency contacted her and demanded to know “how we rendered a favorable adjudication,” expressing concern about the clearance issued to “Official 1.” Newbold also accused Kline of telling her to, in effect, stand down on concerns about another senior White House official, called “Official 2” by the panel. She said one of her colleagues wrote a 14-page summary of why they were planning to deny the application. But when she told Kline of her plan to agree with her colleague on the matter, Kline “instructed Ms. Newbold, ‘do not touch’ the case.” Kline later approved the security clearance, she said."

Apparently, this exceptionally courageous woman has not been fired because these outrageously corrupt bastards know there is a problem, -- and, more importantly, she has carefully documented it.

"Democrats have already identified Kline as one of the people they want to interview. In his letter to the White House, Cummings said the panel’s first subpoena would be to depose Kline, who now works for the Department of Defense."

Report goes on and on.  Clearly, this issue is not going away any time soon.

NPR reports:

"The chairman of the oversight panel, Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., plans to subpoena Kline to force him to testify before the committee. In a letter to White House counsel Pat Cipollone, Cummings said the subpoena is necessary because "The Committee has given the White House every possible opportunity to cooperate with this investigation, but you have declined. Your actions are now preventing the Committee from obtaining the information it needs to fulfill its Constitutional responsibilities." But on Monday evening Kline's attorney sent a letter to the committee indicating that Kline was willing to appear voluntarily for a deposition, but indicated the scope of his testimony would be limited. He also asked Cummings to postpone taking action on a subpoena. "Serving a Committee subpoena on a heretofore anonymous nonpolitical government employee, who is willing to work with all parties to see if appropriate resolution to a constitutional and legal dispute can be resolved by agreement, is both an extreme and unnecessary step," wrote Kline's lawyer, Robert Driscoll. The White House has not responded to repeated requests for comment."

The Washington Post reports:

"A House panel voted Tuesday to subpoena a former White House official accused of overturning denials for security clearances after a whistleblower complained that the Trump administration had put the nation’s most guarded secrets in jeopardy. The Oversight and Reform Committee voted 22 to 15, along party lines, to force Carl Kline, the former White House personnel security director, to answer questions as part of its ongoing investigation into the security clearance process. The move represents one of the committee’s first compulsory measures aimed at the administration and follows whistleblower Tricia Newbold’s allegation that Trump’s White House has behaved recklessly with national security."

Hopefully, first subpoena of many as the House continues to investigate the Trump regime.

NPR reports:

"As the Justice Department prepares a redacted version of the Mueller report for release later this month, the House Judiciary Committee authorized subpoenas for the full report and its underlying investigative evidence. The committee also authorized subpoenas for figures in the Trump orbit, including former White House counsel Don McGahn; McGahn's former chief of staff Ann Donaldson; former adviser Steve Bannon; former spokesperson Hope Hicks; and former chief of staff Reince Priebus. "We are dealing now, not with the President's private affairs, but with a sustained attack on the integrity of the republic by the President and his closest advisors," said Democratic Chairman Jerrold Nadler of New York. "This Committee requires the full report and the underlying materials because it is our job, not the Attorney General's, to determine whether or not President Trump has abused his office." The panel split along partisan lines, resulting in a vote tally of 24-17 to back the subpoenas."

NBC News reports:

"The White House security specialist who told Congress that at least 25 officials received security clearances despite opposition from career staffers says she felt humiliated by what she considers an act of retaliation from her boss. In an exclusive interview with NBC News, Tricia Newbold said her supervisor moved files to a shelf beyond her reach after she complained about the decision to grant security clearances over the objections of senior staffers. "It was definitely humiliating," said Newbold, a manager in the White House’s Personnel Security Office, who has a rare form of dwarfism. "... But it didn’t stop me from doing what was right."

Why are we selling U.S. weaponry in the Middle East?  Certainly, lines the pockets of war-profiteers.  Placates former enemies of the Israeli aggressor such as Egypt.  Consider the following.  It's appalling.  CBS News reports:

"An American woman who survived a mistaken attack by Egypt's military on her tour group is urging President Trump to confront Egypt's president and make him take responsibility. Helicopters built in the U.S. were used in a 2015 attack that killed April Corley's boyfriend. Some members of Congress are pointing to that incident as they try to block a deal to sell 10 more American-made Apache helicopters to Egypt. CBS News' Errol Barnett spoke with Corley about the attack and how the injuries she suffered changed her life. Corley is a Hollywood stuntwoman and dancer who has appeared in movies and commercials and even choreographed moves for Madonna. "My life was really about glitter and rhinestones and roller skates and I was living my dream," Corley said. But while on a vacation to Egypt in 2015 with her boyfriend, Rafael, Corley and her tour group were attacked in the desert.

"The Egyptian government offered each survivor $140,000, but Corley is asking the Egyptian government to pay more than $14 million, for scars she bears on her body and others she says you can't see. "I went to the beach recently to meet some of my girlfriends, and a helicopter came over, and I ran in fear for my life," she said. The State Department told CBS News it has raised Corley's case with the Egyptian government. Both she and Vermont Senator Leahy said they hope President Trump will bring this up with Egypt's president when they meet next week at the White House."

Republicans are doing some soul searching.  Couldn't be, could it?  ... Not for the right reasons of course.  LOL.  Then again, the same criticism can be made of Democrats.  Both parties remain out to lunch.  Hopelessly, deluded.  The Washington Post reports:

"President Trump boasted this week that the Republican Party will soon be known as “the party of great health care.”

Think so?  Been trying last two years, -- to absolutely no avail.  Doesn't stop Trump from continuing to talk out the ass.

"But a growing number of Republicans fear that it risks being tagged as the party of the 1 percent instead — handing Democrats a potent political message as the GOP pushes to gut former president Barack Obama’s health-care law and other popular federal programs, including those that help the poor and people with disabilities."

Already common knowledge quite some time to Democrats and many, many Independents.

"A spate of policy moves in recent weeks by Republican lawmakers and Trump administration officials has driven the party’s agenda hard to the right, giving new fodder to Democratic presidential candidates eager to shift the national debate to such issues as health care and jobs ahead of the 2020 election. The administration’s budget released this month, for example, includes massive rollbacks of programs including Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security Disability Insurance, as well as cuts to the Special Olympics, Meals on Wheels, and programs related to autism and other developmental disabilities."

One of the few things the Trump nazi is honest about is his determination to f--k the bottom and middle class.  LOL.  Line his pockets and those at the top of the food chain.  Been a problem for Republicans for decades.  Now, coming to a head.  As an unwanted dreaded second American revolution catastrophically looms for a number of different reasons.  ... Hear the rumble?

"Trump signaled his misgivings about some of those cuts in recent days — rescinding a proposal to zero out Special Olympics funding, which had sparked a bipartisan backlash, and promising to protect a cleanup program for the Great Lakes in states that could be crucial to his reelection. Democrats said the broad efforts by Trump and Republicans to attack programs that aid lower-income and working-class Americans could help blunt the president’s populist appeal and provide voters with more reasons to consider supporting Democratic candidates. The debate bears echoes of Obama’s successful reelection effort in 2012, when Democrats attacked now-Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) as an out-of-touch GOP nominee beholden to the wealthiest Americans."

Democrats are no better.  Engage in empty rhetoric.  Make promises they know they can't, won't keep.  Certainly, one of the reasons why an unwanted dreaded second American revolution catastrophically looms.

"The policy blitz reflects the deeply conservative agenda at the core of Trump’s administration. It is led by many influential aides and appointees who are unflinching ideologues, even as Trump prefers to call himself a “nationalist” or a businessman with “common sense.”

It's not a 'conservative' agenda.  Far from it.  It's national socialism, fascism, nazism.  Fascism, nazism, national socialism defined as the pernicious blend of government, business, and religion.  'Justified' by perversion and bastardization of the latter.

"Coupled with fallout from the 35-day government shutdown that ended in January and a GOP tax plan that delivered major benefits to the wealthy, Republicans once again find themselves on the defensive — fending off Democrats who say they’re not just the party of Trump but also of the rich and powerful."

Nothing new.  Always been the case.  Recent tax breaks, which mainly benefited the top of the food chain, are about to balloon the deficit to a trillion dollars a year.  Unsustainable.  The shit will hit the fan.  Only a matter of time.  When that happens, guess who will be held accountable?

"And they face growing questions of empathy on issues including the crush of asylum-seeking families at the southern border and disaster aid to Puerto Rico in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria, which Trump complained about in a private lunch Tuesday with Senate Republicans. “We’re diving into a wood chipper,” said Trump critic and longtime Republican strategist Mike Murphy. “I guess that’s the plan — being on the wrong side of issues, on top of the head winds we’re facing, with the House Freedom Caucus and Trump’s ego providing our political compass.”

No kidding.  Truer words never spoken.  Especially, coming from a Republican.  Breath of fresh air.  Dose of reality.

Report goes on and on.  Democrats are jubilant.  Shouldn't be.  Offer nothing but more of the same old tired bullshit.  Certainly, no viable solutions.

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.

Nothing quite like 'consistency,' is there?  The Washington Post reports:

"It’s difficult to say with certainty why the Supreme Court on Thursday night stopped the execution of a Buddhist inmate in Texas because he was not allowed a spiritual adviser by his side, when last month it approved the execution of a Muslim inmate in Alabama under the almost exact circumstances. But the obvious place to start is new Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh, who seemed to have a change of heart."

Change of heart?  ... Or, demonstrable bigotry against Muslims?  You decide.

"Kavanaugh on Thursday was the only justice to spell out his reasoning: Texas could not execute Patrick Murphy without his Buddhist adviser in the room because it allows Christian and Muslim inmates to have religious leaders by their sides. “In my view, the Constitution prohibits such denominational discrimination,” Kavanaugh wrote. But Kavanaugh was on the other side last month when Justice Elena Kagan and three other justices declared “profoundly wrong” Alabama’s decision to turn down Muslim Domineque Ray’s request for an imam to be at his execution, making available only a Christian chaplain. “That treatment goes against the Establishment Clause’s core principle of denominational neutrality,” Kagan wrote then."

Certainly, does.

"Kavanaugh and the court’s other conservatives did not address Kagan’s argument, saying only that Ray had brought his challenge too late."

How could it ever be too late to bring a challenge, -- other than if the petitioner had already been executed?  Apparently, the five Republican nazis on the Court were conveniently looking for an excuse to indulge their bigotry.  If so, raw nazism.

"Kavanaugh said in a footnote Thursday he was satisfied with the timing of Murphy’s litigation. But there was little difference in when Ray and Murphy brought their requests; if anything, it appears Ray was quicker than Murphy."

Jesus Christ.  If that's the case, yet another indication there is no justice.

"Some critics of the court wondered if the difference was one of race and religion. Murphy is white and turned to Buddhism in prison. Ray, who was executed within hours of the court’s decision Feb. 7, was black."

Had to be.  What else could it have been?  Raw nazism.

"But the court in just the last few years has ruled for Muslim petitioners who claimed discrimination: an inmate who was not allowed to grow a short beard because of prison policies, and a woman who was denied a job at Abercrombie & Fitch because of her hijab."

Again, nothing quite like 'consistency', is there?  The five GOP nazis on the Court clearly, figuratively have their heads securely lodged up their collective ass.  ... Certainly, at the very least, when it comes to all civil and constitutional rights and liberties.

"Ilya Somin, a law professor at the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University and a sharp critic of the court’s decision in Dunn v. Ray, said the most logical explanation is the court was stung by the barrage of criticism it received from the left and the right. The justices “belatedly realized they had made a mistake; and not just any mistake, but one that inflicted real damage on their and the court’s reputations,” Somin wrote on the Volokh Conspiracy blog."

Hard to believe the Aryan arrogant nazi element on the Court gives a crap about how their rulings are perceived.  Forget?  The nazi element in our formerly great country, nonetheless, marches in goose step with them.  Usually, no matter what.

“Presented with a chance to ‘correct’ their error and signal that they will not tolerate religious discrimination in death penalty administration, they were willing to bend over backwards to seize the opportunity, and not let it slip away.”

Think so?  Extremely hard to believe.  Especially, since the Court seldom reverses itself.  Nearly, never.  LOL.

"Deepak Gupta, a Washington lawyer who argues before the court and called the Ray decision “indefensible,” tweeted: “This is how the Supreme Court tries to erase a very recent and obvious moral error without admitting error. Is the Alabama case materially different? They don’t say.”

So what else is new?  LOL.  Forget?  Usually, nothing ever changes.  Precisely, why our formerly great country is in the shape it's in.

"It is not clear from the ruling what role Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. and Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr., who were in the majority in the Ray case, played in the Murphy case. They did not join Kavanaugh’s opinion, nor did they note, as Justices Clarence Thomas and Neil M. Gorsuch did, that they would have allowed the execution to proceed."

Fascinating, isn't it?  The determined, concerted lack of transparency is par for the course.  Not only for the judiciary, but both other branches of government as well.

"Somin said he is “fairly confident Alito and Roberts switched” because they did not record themselves as objecting, as Thomas and Gorsuch did. “In a high-profile case like this, it would be strange for some justices to clearly indicate their dissent, while others who agreed with that stance kept silent and thereby created the impression they agree with the majority,” Somin said in an email. But that is not always the case, and Kavanaugh plus the dissenters in the Ray case would have been enough to force the outcome in the Murphy case."

Lack of transparency certainly presents a dire threat to a democratic republic.  -- One of many reasons we remain a democratic republic in name only.

Things are not going well at Wells Fargo.  Doesn't your heart bleed?  The Washington Post reports:

"Wells Fargo announced Thursday that its CEO Tim Sloan will step down immediately as the bank struggles to address years of scandals related to its alleged abuse of customers."

Alleged?

"Sloan will be temporarily replaced by C. Allen Parker, who has served as Wells Fargo’s general counsel."

Think he'll do any better?  LOL.

"Wells Fargo is still weathering a sustained backlash from its admission two years ago that it opened millions of sham accounts customers did not want and more recent revelations that it mistakenly foreclosed on hundreds of customers and improperly repossessed thousands of cars."

The problem runs far deeper than that as detailed in this publication over the years.

"Sloan, a 31-year veteran of the company, has spent years apologizing for the bank’s bad behavior and attempting to rebuild its reputation with customers, regulators and lawmakers. He told the House Financial Services Committee earlier this month that the bank had revamped its board, significantly increased its charitable giving and no longer emphasizes sales goals, which were blamed for many of the company’s problems. However, it did little to quiet criticism of the bank."

The bank has failed to clean up its act.  ... Right, Amanda?  To say nothing of just restitution.

Moreover and ferociously pointedly?  Who the hell has been prosecuted?  ... Right, Amanda?

“It has become apparent to me that our ability to successfully move Wells Fargo forward from here will benefit from a new CEO and fresh perspectives,” Sloan said in a statement. “For this reason, I have decided it is best for the Company that I step aside and devote my efforts to supporting an effective transition.”

Coup de grace?  Get this:

"Sloan’s position was made more tenuous recently. A day after facing harsh questions from lawmakers on Capitol Hill, Wells Fargo announced that it was increasing Sloan’s total compensation to $18.4 million. Of that, $2 million is an “annual incentive award” — in other words, a bonus."

Jesus Christ.  Give me a break.  LOL.  ... Delusionally believe all this sustainable, Amanda?

Cowardly fail to financially and/or materially support those fighting for all civil and constitutional rights and liberties at great personal cost and risk?  Get what you truly deserve.

Certainly, a step backwards.  CBS News reports:

"New Islamic criminal laws took effect in Brunei on Wednesday that make gay sex and adultery punishable by stoning offenders to death. The laws have triggered an outcry from countries, rights groups and celebrities far beyond the tiny Southeast Asian nation's shores. The penalties were provided for under new sections of Brunei's Shariah Penal Code. Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah instituted the code in 2014 to bolster the influence of Islam in the oil-rich monarchy of around 430,000 people, two-thirds of whom are Muslim. Even before 2014, homosexuality was already punishable in Brunei by a jail term of up to 10 years. But under the new laws - which apply to children and foreigners, even if they are not Muslim - those found guilty of gay sex can be stoned to death or whipped. Adulterers risk death by stoning too, while thieves face amputation of a right hand on their first offense and a left foot on their second."

Barbarians.

"On Tuesday, the United States joined the United Kingdom, Germany and France in urging Brunei to halt its plans. "The United States strongly opposes violence, criminalization and discrimination targeting vulnerable groups, including women at risk of violence, religious and ethnic minorities, and lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex persons," State Department deputy spokesman Robert Palladino said in a statement. Celebrities including George Clooney, Elton John and Ellen DeGeneres have voiced opposition to the new laws, and have rallied a boycott of nine hotels in the U.S. and Europe with ties to Hassanal, who is still sultan. "Are we really going to help fund the murder of innocent citizens?" Clooney wrote Thursday on Deadline Hollywood. Clooney said that while you can't shame "murderous regimes," you can shame "the banks, the financiers and the institutions that do business with them." Michelle Bachelet, the U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights, urged Brunei's government to "stop the entry into force of this Draconian new penal code." Phil Robertson, the deputy Asia director for Human Rights Watch, called on the sultan to "immediately suspend amputations, stoning, and all other rights-abusing provisions and punishments." Brunei's Southeast Asian neighbors, some of whom also have laws banning sex between men, have remained silent, however."

Barbarians.

"According to the International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association's 2019 roundup, consensual same-sex sex acts are still officially or unofficially criminalized in 70 U.N. member nations. The same report said the death penalty could be implemented for consensual same-sex sexual acts in at least 10 nations. That did not include Brunei, as the law has not yet come into effect. In neighboring Indonesia, Shariah law is officially implemented in the predominantly Muslim Aceh province, but not nationally. People have been caned for homosexual acts, and even attempted acts, in Aceh. Under increasing pressure from Amnesty International and other rights groups, Aceh decided last year to move the canings out of the public eye and conduct them behind closed doors. For years large crowds had gathered in public to witness the spectacle."

Barbarians.

The following email has been sent nearly daily to a woman at 2freehosting.com who was responsible for caving into Wells Fargo.  This email is re-edited occasionally as circumstances change.  Should you bank with Wells Fargo you may wish to ask them why they engage in deceptive trade practices and if in fact they indeed bribed Texas Gov. Greg Abbott while he was Texas Attorney General to ignore a complaint filed against them:

Fran,

All three Liberty In Peril FTP servers are down and apparently have been
hacked.  The three websites, however, remain up and running at time of
writing.  That is, libertyinperil.twomini.com, libertyinperil.wink.ws, and
libertyinperil.t15.org are accessible and running.  Only FTP access has
been effected making it impossible to upload.

The Filezilla messaging on twomini is:

Status:        Connecting to 31.170.167.137:21...
Status:      Connection attempt failed with "ECONNREFUSED - Connection
refused by server".
Error:       Could not connect to server
Status:       Waiting to retry...

The exact same messaging, other than IP addresses, is the same on the wink
and t15 FTP servers. This hacking attack apparently occurred the day
after Wells Fargo closed two accounts because I publicly accused them of
criminal activity.  Your company needs to look into this matter. Get these
FTP servers up and running again.  A criminal complaint will be filed with
the U.S. Attorney regarding all the ongoing criminal activity by Wells
Fargo, now extended to hacking and undue interference with the webhosts.
Has 2freehosting been bribed and/or pressured by Wells Fargo?  Certainly,
one of numerous questions to be forwarded to criminal prosecutors.

Welcome.   Liberty In Peril has been relaunched at a new URL:
libertyinperil.com. This is a new commercial site hosted in an overseas
country, which unlike our own, does value free speech, Net security,
privacy, equally importantly, despises hackers.  Banks too big to fail
should not have the ability to shut down ftp servers on four Liberty In
Peril websites, making upload impossible.  -- Simply, because they don't
want the truth of their criminal activity reported to the public.

Should this site not be kept up, running, and fully operational, the
libertyinperil.com domain will be quickly moved to a different host
despite cost and hassle.  No more bullsh-t.  Criminal complaints will be
prepared and filed against Amanda Wright, Lynn Massey, and the equally
criminal bastards in the Wells Fargo corporate management suite for
egregious deceptive trade practices.

Email notification of local businesses of these practices, has and will,
continue unabated until Wells Fargo accepts responsibility, ceases these
practices, and finally makes it right.  During the last several weeks
after the ftp servers were hacked, a blizzard of these emails was sent to
local businesses to keep intense pressure on the criminal bastards at
Wells Fargo.  Copies of these emails were sent to bank officials.  They
have been posted in this publication. ... We're already up to Salvo 74, --
and counting.

In addition, all new Newsletter Editions will feature an
available abbreviated version, smart phone friendly, that can be accessed
by clicking on the icon. Will supplement the regular format of this
publication.  This is being done because so many of you access this
publication with smart phones and other devices with small screens.

This site has finally been fully uploaded.  All links appear to be
properly working.  Typos in the rush to get material up have also been
corrected.  There will be a few additional changes to be made as time
allows.  Including, again, a smart phone-friendly abbreviated version of
each future Newsletter Edition starting with v434 that will be available
in addition to the regular edition.

Hopefully, now, I can finally get back to the business of this
publication, that is exposure of corrupt, abusive, inept, clueless
government lackeys beholden to their corporate masters, rather than
dealing with recalcitrant webhosts.  We'll see.  With the
libertyinperil.com domain, however, any necessary changes in webhosts will
be easy to make since all links won't have to be changed or deactivated.

The pressure on Wells Fargo will continue unabated.  Should they further
interfere with operation of this publication, it will simply provide
additional fodder for criminal complaints to be filed against them.

On 9-22-15, Kingsland Wells Fargo Store Manager Amanda Wright forced
closure of two accounts because for nearly three years this writer has
publicly accused her, her predecessor Lynn Massey, and the Wells Fargo
corporate management suite of engaging in criminal deceptive trade
practices, as well as pressuring, unduly interfering and/or bribing
webhosts to take these websites down.

Apparently, they have successfully managed to unduly influence and/or
bribe the federal Consumer Financial 'Protection' Bureau and Texas
Attorney General Consumer Protection Division as well.  Forget?  The bank
is considered too big to fail.  Considers itself government.

For all practical purposes, that's perversely true.  They have money and
resources to buy not only their human chattel, but their bought and paid
for government lackeys. Be interesting to see whether or not the U.S.
Attorney is untouchable, or sadly, similarly capable of being bought.

Immediately after closure of these accounts, the three operational Liberty
In Peril FTP servers were hacked.  What that means is that while all three
sites remained operational and accessible to readers, new material could
not be uploaded. This continues to date.

Worse, 'free' accounts on all three 'free' webhosts conveniently no longer
provide technical control panel support.  Clearly, they don't want to know
there are problems. Have managed, however, to find other ways to contact
webhost management and have done precisely that.

Will take a criminal investigation to determine who hacked the sites,
however.  Most likely, Wells Fargo had a hand in it.  Certainly, have the
resources.  Highly, unlikely the Llano County Sheriff's Office was
involved.  Hard to believe they would be that stupid.  The Bank, however,
has nothing to lose. Owns its government lackeys.  The Sheriff and his
outrageously corrupt and abusive goons, however, can expect further
exposure in this publication. Should you have information regarding this
or any other issue, contact me.  I will protect your identity.

The effort to expose Wells Fargo egregious deceptive trade practices continues.  Several years ago to determinedly apply renewed pressure on our truly worthless, egregiously self-serving Texas Attorney General, now Governor, an excoriating email was sent to the bastard.  Copies of which were also passed on to both offending Wells Fargo officers. A copy was also sent to the Davis campaign and others at the time.

Voters did have a right to know as Attorney General, the GOP candidate for Governor apparently selectively investigated, or not, bona fide complaints filed by citizens against banks too big to fail.  Possibly, Wells Fargo could have lined his pockets in some fashion.  That has yet to be determined.

The bastard and his office, no matter what, failed to respond to the complaint originally snail mailed several years ago.  This material, figuratively targeting Wells Fargo and the governor 'wannabe' now Governor, had been posted and can be found by scrolling all the way down and clicking on the links well below.  ... Governor?  Wells Fargo bribe you to look the other way?

Will continue to do all I can to publicly expose this to all, both in this publication and elsewhere.  Have done precisely that with the following email sent to Matt Turner, Matt Turner Video Services, Marble Falls, TX.  A copy of it was also sent to Wells Fargo officer Amanda Wright.  She has, indeed, been promoted  branch manager. Reverse Darwinism.  Survival of the unfittest.

This young woman has indeed been rewarded by the Wells Fargo corporate management suite for engaging in criminal deceptive trade practices and her undying loyalty to her corporate masters. The process to update those already informed of this fiasco has finally been completed. This latest material can be found by clicking onWells Fargo Deceptive Trade Practices Salvo 240, 2-8-19.

The name of this publication was changed some fifteen years ago from The Llano Ledger to Liberty In Peril.  The reason?  Simple.  Cowardly failure of this community to stand up to tyranny that has only exponentially worsened the last decade and a half.  Clearly, demonstrated as well by the cowardly failure of businesses to financially support this publication.  Either through advertising or other financial support.  Too afraid doing so would enrage the bastards who run and own this hellhole County.

-- Despite the fact these businesses were, and are, being egregiously f--ked by these very same bastards. Tough, isn't it?  Impossible to entertain any sympathy for cowardice, however.  Especially in view of the fact this writer has placed himself in great jeopardy taking on these corrupt, abusive, inept criminal bastards.  Alone.

Exactly, why you see no investigative material highly critical of these sons of bitches in other local rags.  Sadly, cowardly, all advertising income immediately dries up.  Consequently, the bastards continue their criminal chicanery with impunity.  On a rampage.  Thus, you get what you truly deserve.  Always.  Precisely, why this earlier name change to Liberty In Peril remains appropriate.  -- Despite the fact this writer has not yet left the area.  Ten years after originally intending to do so.  Thirty years in this goddamned godforsaken hellhole.

This writer, then and now, remains primarily interested in state, federal, and international issues.  Another reason for this publication name change.  Despite the fact I stupidly cluelessly remain here, local issues must be addressed.  Can't be ignored.  That's where you come in dear readers.  Have the courage to inform this writer of local abuse, corruption, ineptness you are aware of, have personally experienced.

... Information these criminal bastards do all they can to conceal, cover up.  Otherwise, how can they effectively sustain the charade and intended result?  Loot confiscation through a boot heel on the throat of the citizenry.

The only way, short of an unwanted dreaded second American revolution, to force badly-needed change is to expose all this to the light of day.  These bastards are beginning to understand they have a problem.  No question, the growing rage of those they've abused, looted, egregiously f--ked.  It's time to stand up.  Expose this corruption to glaring sunlight.  Otherwise, as fools, cowards, you will remain under their thumb.  From the loftiest business owner to those on the bottom of the food chain.  Wake up.  Grow a pair.

Still don't think that likely to happen.  After all, you're bought and paid for.  Owned. Not only by your government masters, but their masters.  The corporate management suite.  Your employers.  Think not? Wake up.   You're human chattel.  Corporate-owned, bought and paid for.  Precisely, why you cowardly, compliantly, literally bare your asses for corporate inspection by the company doctor.  Willingly, compliantly, cowardly piss in a cup under employer supervision.  To sit in front of a keyboard or stock shelves all day.  You have no control of your lives.  You're owned.  Forget?  For a measly salary, no job security, reduced to no benefits.  At a time of record corporate profits and cash reserves.

Then, you gallingly complain about the oppression as you tolerate egregious theft of your labor. Not only by your corporate masters, but their bought and paid for government lackeys.  Too cowardly to stand up, allow disclosure of your identity when you rightfully complain to this publication of being mercilessly f--ked. Some of you falsely arrested, criminally assaulted, bogusly fined for 'offenses' you did not commit.  To line County coffers.  Keep the peasants in line and under control.  A fascist police-state. Nazi America.

Again, yet another reason why this publication is called Liberty In Peril.  Most galling? Nothing changes if you fail to step up and challenge corrupt, abusive, inept authority.  Too afraid, cowardly compliant to let the bastards know who you are.  Did it ever occur to the cowards out there if the identity of the accuser is kept under wraps the bastards will falsely claim it's all made up by this publication?  Thus, conveniently killing all credibility.  Wake up.

Cowardice is unbecoming, unworthy of our formerly great country.  Insult to injury?  There are the hopelessly deranged who believe the chicanery reported here to be manufactured anyway.  No matter the effort.  No matter the research.  No matter the proof.  Wake up.  This writer cannot do it alone.  Snowball's chance in hell.  Then again, cowardice, delusion is always amply, justly rewarded.  Always. You continue to 'enjoy' the very best government money can buy.  Literally.

JP2 Linda Ballard Recording

Click here for a most interesting conversation between JP2 Linda Ballard and LCRA Communications Supervisor Mitch Hibbs who at the time was investigating a complaint made by the Henderson family against the 'judge.'  The recording had been made by Hibbs and provided by Phyllis Henderson who had gotten it through an open records request.   During the course of the recording you will hear the 'judge' make a terroristic threat against the Henderson family which the investigator laughingly shrugged off as a joke.

Seems former LCRA Ranger Lance Bilski, stepson of Llano County Sheriff Bill Blackburn, had been harassing the Henderson family regarding their tire business, Henderson Tire.  Worse? There are unsubstantiated allegations, that although very much attached, Bilski may have indeed engaged in improprieties, that is, egregiously unprofessional conduct relevant to the Henderson complaint.  All this had been covered in Newsletter Text V346.

Publication of this material, however, should in no way be interpreted as endorsement of Ballard's opponent, Steve Lange, in the upcoming runoff.  It is not.  It is provided as a public service to expose the 'judge' for exactly whom and what she is.
