As always when a cop does something heroic, and/or of exceptional benefit to the community, it leads. Always. This time, the example is from overseas. Uncommon Valor. CBS News reports:

"A French policeman who was shot by a gunman Friday after swapping himself for a hostage in a siege at a supermarket in the southwest town of Trebes is being praised as a hero. The policeman was among a group of officers who rushed to the scene after the attacker, who claimed allegiance to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) group, stormed the store and fired on shoppers and staff before taking them hostage.

"Speaking at the scene, Interior Minister Gerard Collomb said a police team immediately intervened after the start of the siege at around 11 a.m. "They managed to get some of the people out," he said, but the attacker kept one hostage back as a human shield. A senior officer then offered to take the hostage's place and remained holed up with Lakdim while negotiations to end the standoff continued. Collomb said the officer "left his telephone on the table," allowing police to listen in as they surrounded the building. "When we heard shots the GIGN (an elite police force) intervened," the minister said, adding that the policeman was "seriously injured." The officer was later identified as Col. Arnaud Beltrame."

"A French police officer who offered himself up to an Islamic extremist gunman in exchange for a hostage died of his injuries, raising the death toll in the attack to four. The officer was honored Saturday as a national hero of "exceptional courage and selflessness." Col. Arnaud Beltrame, 44, was among the first officers to respond to the attack on the supermarket in the south of France on Friday. Beltrame, who first took his place among the elite police special forces in 2003 and served in Iraq in 2005, had organized a training session in the Aude region in December for just such a hostage situation. At the time, he armed his officers with paintball guns, according to Depeche du Midi, the local newspaper. "We want to be as close to real conditions as possible," he said then. But when he went inside the supermarket on Friday, he had given up his own weapon and volunteered himself in exchange for a female hostage."

"Unbeknownst to the Morocco-born captor, he left his cellphone on so police outside could hear what was happening in the store. They stormed the building when they heard gunshots, officials said. Beltrame was fatally wounded. His death raises the toll to four. The gunman was also killed, and 15 people were injured in the attack. Announcing the police officer's death on Twitter, Interior Minister Gérard Collomb said: "He died for his country." "France will never forget his heroism, his bravery, his sacrifice," Collomb said, the BBC reports. "Arnaud Beltrame died in the service of the nation to which he had already given so much," President Emmanuel Macron said in a statement. "In giving his life to end the deadly plan of a jihadi terrorist, he fell as a hero."

Behind the wall, one of the officers issues another command. “Show me your hands!” And then: “Gun, gun, gun!” Both officers open fire. Sparks from the bullets light up the helicopter’s infrared camera in sharp white pops. The sequence, from the first glimpse of Clark on the patio to the first gunshot, unfolds in about six seconds. The officers are never heard identifying themselves as police before fatally shooting Clark."

"Officers are supposed to know exactly how many times they're firing and look at the target and make sure that every shot is necessary to stop the danger," Brown said. Brown added that when a large number of shots are fired, such as 20 or 30, "it leads one to believe there's an overreaction and officers got too close." "They didn't follow their training, and they failed to de-escalate the situation," Brown said."

"Last quote points to the need for a total remake of law enforcement. Education standards need to be increased. Recruits should have a college degree in criminal science. Expected to earn a masters degree in one of the social sciences as a condition of promotion. ... Or, vice versa. Training should be at the level of what state troopers receive, -- or better.

"Starting salaries at $100K. Would need far fewer officers as the standards of the profession are increased. Improvement in professionalism would quickly lead to increased trust and support within the community. Officer safety would improve as the public becomes less combative in reaction to reduced outrageously abusive officer criminal behavior perpetrated within the community.

The enclosed emails were sent to the Llano County Attorney and Sheriff, respectively, vis a vis the above matter. Remain unanswered. The County Attorney appears to be protecting and defending the deputy at behest of Kingsland property owner Johnny Greene. May have received some consideration from Greene up to and including a bribe. Are the County Attorney, Greene, and the Deputy under criminal investigation? If not, why not?

How is it two surveyor companies, the Appraisal District, the Tax Office, the Precinct 3 Commissioner, even the goddamned Sheriff himself now states Kingsland resident James Berardi owns the lots in contention all these months?

Yet, you ludicrously assert that's not the County's legal position. It's not? Why not? You claim you're not a real estate expert. Rather than accept the advice of two surveyor companies, the Precinct 3 Commissioner, the Appraisal District, the Tax Office, and even the Sheriff himself, you've inexplicably chosen to follow the advice of property owner Johnny Greene, -- who conveniently happens to be reportedly in the oil industry.

Question to be asked. Could you have received any 'consideration' in return, -- up to and including a bribe? Only way to know for sure is for the District Attorney to conduct a criminal investigation. Apparently, there has been none. If not, why not?

Equally pointedly, why hasn't Llano County Deputy Leroy Rodriguez, Badge #764 been held criminally accountable for egregious abuse of power involving denial of property rights to this Kingsland property owner? To say nothing of consequent resultant physical damage done to a motor home on that property.

Our achingly useless, worthless, gutless Sheriff has ignored an email vis a vis the damage this jackbooted thug is responsible for. Interestingly, his fellow officers believe him to be an idiot. Yet, the Sheriff continued to defend this piece of human excrement until he realized this entire fiasco would not be swept under the carpet.

Wake up, Sheriff. Again, where is dashcam video of the killing of Jeffrey Gray Wise, 52, of Austin by DPS and the Llano County Sheriff's Office? One hundred one weeks, now. A goddamned disgrace. Why are you still sitting on this information? What are you hiding, Sheriff? What is the identity of the officers who killed Wise? Too gutless to release this information to the public that pays your salary and that of your goons? Reportedly, there were three officers involved in the shooting.

Who are they, Sheriff? Their past history? An ongoing investigation remains a lame bullshit excuse. How can you and your goons be trusted when you refuse to disclose information? One hundred one weeks. Especially, your egregious failure to disclose the identity of the officers who pulled the trigger. To cover your sorry ass, Sheriff? Those of your thugs? Did you know the Texas Attorney General does not have the authority to investigate and prosecute County authorities on his own? "Footage from body cameras and an overhead helicopter does not clearly depict what Clark was doing just before police opened fire. Officers did not find a gun at the scene. The Sacramento Police Department said they were responding to reports of a man seen breaking into at least three vehicles and later into a neighbor's home. The break-ins were first reported by a 911 call also released by the police. The police said deputies in the helicopter saw Clark break a neighbor's sliding glass door before jumping a fence. The helicopter video does not show the alleged break-in. It picks up as he is running through a backyard and climbing over a fence into a neighboring property. It shows him looking into a truck in the driveway."

How the hell is it possible officers in the helicopter could allegedly see the victim breaking a sliding glass door, but the helicopter video does not back up the claim? How does that happen? Wouldn't officers do all they could to record it as evidence? Problem with this remains the fact it's the fox guarding the chicken coop. They'll lie like hell to protect their own. Wouldn't know truth if it figuratively bit them hard on the ass. Truly believe the bastards incapable of erasing video that doesn't conform with their story? Shape and mold 'evidence' to support their claims?

"The helicopter, flying over the house, then loses sight of the man. It briefly shows him in the backyard as the police are running up the driveway along the side of the house. "Show me your hands -- gun!" one officer yells, according to the body camera footage released Wednesday. It is dark outside and a flashlight from one body camera briefly shows the backyard, but the man is not visible. "Gun, gun, gun," one of the officers yells before they begin shooting."

There was no gun. The bastards lied. Apparently, did not have a 'throw-away' to plant on the victim after they murdered him.

"The helicopter footage shows Clark collapsing as they shoot. It's unclear from the helicopter and body camera video exactly how many shots were fired. Police previously said the officers fired 20 shots."

"The department had said he advanced toward the officers holding an object extended in front of him. The officers thought he was pointing a handgun, police said. After the shooting, the footage shows the officers taking turns reloading and keeping their guns trained on the man from a distance while they await backup."

Gutless pieces of jackbooted shit. Precisely, why there is so little faith and trust in law enforcement. In some communities, none at all.

"What'd he have on him?" someone asks. "Something in his hands, it looked like a gun from our perspective," one officer says. As several officers approach, the man is seen lying face down with a cellphone near his head. He's handcuffed and the officers discuss performing CPR. The officers who fired are taken to the street, where someone says "Hey mute" and the audio cuts out. The video continues without sound for about two minutes as the officers talk."

Jesus Christ. Why mute the audio? To get their stories straight? There was no gun. They murdered the man. Became judge, jury, and executioner. A de facto fascist police-state, transforming to the Trump nazi's Fourth Reich.

"Based on the videos alone, I cannot second guess the split-second decisions of our officers and I'm not going to do that," Mayor Darrell Steinberg said in a statement. "The investigation must be completed. We need more information in addition to the video before we can render any final conclusions."

"Steinberg said appropriate questions have been raised about the protocols for using force and rendering emergency aid during police shootings and they must be answered in the investigation."

"The shooting has ignited questions by relatives, activists and others after it turned out he was holding only a cellphone."

"CBS Sacramento reports that Clark's relatives are determined to make sure Stephon is not forgotten, and that the family has hired civil rights attorney John Burris to represent them in any potential legal challenges in the case. "They will pay for this," said Stevante Clark, "like how you know Trayvon Martin, Mike Brown, Eric Garner, Tamir Rice—you're going to know. You're going to know him. You're going to remember this."

"Video released by the Sacramento Police Department depicts a frantic foot pursuit through darkened streets pierced by white slivers of police flashlight. The officers spot Clark approaching a house and shout: “Show me your hands! Stop! Stop!” Clark is seen running, and the two officers round the corner of the house and find him under a covered patio. An infrared camera on an overhead helicopter briefly loses sight of Clark. “Show me your hands! Gun!” an officer shouts and ducks behind the wall in a fraction of a second. The helicopter footage shows one of the officers appearing to grab his partner to pull him to cover. Clark steps toward the officers. Behind the wall, one of the officers issues another command. “Show me your hands!” And then: “Gun, gun, gun!” Both officers open fire. Sparks from the bullets light up the helicopter’s infrared camera in sharp white pops. The sequence, from the first glimpse of Clark on the patio to the first gunshot, unfolds in about six seconds. The officers are never heard identifying themselves as police before fatally shooting Clark."

(Public records list him as Stephon Clark, 22.) Thompson disputes the police department’s version of events. Her grandson was short, not 6 feet, she said in a video produced by the Bee. She believes another suspect was smashing windows, and that Clark was in the back yard at the wrong time. Their doorbell is broken, and relatives often tap on the back window for someone to open the garage door, the family told the newspaper. Clark was staying at his grandmother’s home at the time he was killed."

"The gunfire startled her that night, she told the Bee. “The only thing that I heard was pow, pow, pow, pow, and I got to the ground,” she said in the Bee’s video. She said she began to suspect the police description of a dead person in her yard was a member of the family. “I told the officers, ‘You guys are murderers. Murderers,’ ” Thompson cried out. “You took him away from his kids.” The family said Clark had two young sons, Cairo and Aiden, and a fiancee, Salena Manni, the Associated Press reported."

"An analysis by The Washington Post found that 987 people were killed by police last year — 68 of them unarmed. Of those unarmed victims, 30 were white, 20 were black and 13 were Hispanic, showing an overrepresentation of African Americans among the total U.S. population. Five of the remaining fatalities were of unknown or other race. At least 230 people have been killed by police this year, according to The Post’s database on fatal force.

"The police said five minutes passed before responding officers arrived to cuff Clark and render first aid, which ultimately proved futile: He died at the scene. That timeline is not precise, according to the footage. Five minutes and 16 seconds pass between the radio call of shots fired and when officers snap on the cuffs. Several more seconds pass before someone on scene begins chest compressions.

"In the video, the officers did not appear to be fearful of an attack once Clark was down. He wasn’t moving, an officer notes. One officer, showing no clear urgency to replenish his ammunition, waits a minute and a half before he reloads. “Sir, can you move?” an arriving officer calls into the night at Clark, minutes after the shooting, telling him they cannot help unless they know he does not have a weapon."

"What happened was absolutely horrific, and we are so very sorry for your loss. The Kings recognize the right to peacefully protest and we respect that, recognize we have a big platform. It's a privilege but also a big responsibility. We stand here before you, young, brown, black, white united in our commitment. We recognize it's not just business as usual. We will work really hard to make the world a better place starting with our own community, and will work hard to prevent this kind of a tragedy from happening again."

Need to put your money where your mouth is. Political independents need to be put in office that will finally end this bullshit. Neither major political party seems willing or able to affect desperately needed change. Until that happens, expect more of the same. ... As our formerly great country continues to deteriorate. Last quote points to the need for a total remake of law enforcement. Education standards need to be increased. Recruits should have a college degree in criminal science. Expected to earn a masters degree in one of the social sciences as a condition of promotion. ... Or, vice versa. Training should be at the level of what state troopers receive, -- or better.

Starting salaries at $100K. Would need far fewer officers as the standards of the profession are increased. Improvement in professionalism would quickly lead to increased trust and support within the community. Officer safety would improve as the public becomes less combative in reaction to reduced outrageously abusive officer criminal behavior perpetrated within the community.

The conundrum is indeed quite simple. The public cannot live without law enforcement. -- Good law enforcement that does its job professionally, non-abusively, lawfully, constitutionally. ... "Demonstrators broke at least one car window, doused a bystander with drinks, and blocked busy downtown Sacramento thoroughfares in a second day of protests over the fatal officer-involved shooting of an unarmed black man. The Sacramento Bee reports Friday's protests grew unruly and sometimes violent. About 200 protesters confronted drivers in traffic, breaking the rear window of one car as it made its way through the throng. One video shows a protester jumping on an SUV's hood and the vehicle starting to drive off with him on top. The man jumped off, and the SUV sped away. The California Highway Patrol blocked ramps to Interstate 5 from protesters trying to disrupt traffic for a second day."

"The two officers involved in the fatal shooting of an unarmed black man in Sacramento, California, have been receiving death threats, officials said."

"The family of Stephon Clark, the unarmed California man who was shot and killed by police last week, has engaged a prominent civil rights attorney, CBS Sacramento reports. Clark, 22, was standing in his grandmother's back yard holding a cellphone last Wednesday when police fired 20 shots at him, killing him on the spot. The fatal shooting sparked days of protests in Sacramento, followed by a candlelight vigil on Sunday. Nationally known civil rights attorney Ben Crump announced Friday that he will be representing the Clark family. Crump has represented families in other controversial police shooting cases, including the families of Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown and Tamir Rice. "From what we have seen so far, Sacramento police have raised more questions than provided answers," Crump said in a video released on Twitter. He is expected to make a formal statement on Monday outside the federal courthouse in Sacramento."

"The California Attorney General has announced that the state Justice Department will be conducting an independent investigation into the shooting of Stephon Clark. Attorney General Xavier Becerra, Mayor Darrell Steinberg, Chief of Police Daniel Hahn and other Sacramento community leaders are holding a press conference to discuss the investigation. "Due to the nature of the investigation, the extremely high emotions, anger and hurt in our community," Hahn said, he decided it was best for attorney general to independently investigate the shooting. Becerra said he will also be reviewing police use-of-force training and protocols."

"A special meeting of the Sacramento City Council called to hear local community reaction to the police slaying of 22-year-old Stephon Clark was disrupted by shouting demonstrators almost as soon as the meeting convened. Mayor Darrell Steinberg recessed the meeting for 15 minutes to restore order and then the forum continued. Steinberg began the meeting by telling residents that the entire City Council joined them in their grieving and that "in the days and months ahead, you will be heard and we will be listening."

Hard to believe. Nothing ever changes. Precisely, why demonstrators egregiously disrupted this meeting. Didn't buy the endless bullshit, lip service paid by clueless, achingly out of touch city officials.

"Council member Larry Carr had just begun his remarks when some members of the audience began chanting "Stephon Clark! Stephon Clark!" Clark's brother, Stevante Clark rushed to the front of the room and chanted his brother's name before launching into an expletive-laden speech denouncing gangs, poverty and high rents in Sacramento. When Clark refused to keep quiet, Mayor Steinberg recessed the meeting."

Smart move. To say the least, would have been maddeningly counterproductive had they arrested Clark's brother, hauled his ass to jail.

"When the meeting resumed, many of the protesters had left the council chambers and could be heard from inside still chanting Stephon Clark's name. Pastor Efrem Smith urged the council to find ways to bring the city together "and not deeper into a divide." He also lamented the fact that Clark was unarmed and carried only his cellphone when he was killed by Sacramento police, one of whom yelled "gun, gun, gun" before fatally shooting him in his grandmother's backyard."

"Police in Elgin, Illinois on Thursday released body-cam and dashboard video related to the March 12, 2018 shooting death of 34-year-old Decynthia Clements. In the edited video, Clements can be seen speeding as police squad cars attempt to pull over the vehicle. Clements doesn't stop and when officers finally catch up with her, she’s pulled over on the shoulder on a busy stretch of I-90."

Throughout that hour, in the shortened video, Clements continues to put the vehicle in drive and slowly move it. That’s when officers decide to pin her vehicle between two squad cars. Clements can then be seen igniting something, and tossing it into the backseat, setting the car on fire."

"The car fills with smoke and officers are unable to see clearly what is happening inside the vehicle. With flames now coming out of the vehicle, Clements opens the drivers side door, and starts to exit with an object in hand. Officers can be heard yelling at her to drop the knife. A split-second later she is fired upon and killed."

Swodoba said he hasn't spoken to the officer who fired at Clements, and doesn't know why he didn't use the less-lethal tactics. He said the Indiana State Police is conducting the investigation."

She said he was held overnight but that none of his family was notified about where he was. Conditt died early Wednesday after detonating a bomb as police were about to arrest him. A witness placed him near the scene of the crime, picking him out of a lineup.

But at the same time, the agency urged the courts to "lift all related preliminary injunctions" imposed after Trump tried to implement a complete ban last year."

CBS finally aired the Stormy Daniels interview on 60 Minutes. Consider the following quotes:

"Stormy Daniels: I asked. And he brushed it aside, said, "Oh yeah, yeah, you know, don't worry about that. We don't even-- we have separate rooms and stuff."

On "CBS This Morning" Avenatti accused Cohen of a history "thuggish" behavior. He also acknowledged that Daniels has been continually threatened for coming forward."

Fascinating, isn't it? Apparently, Daniels is rattling the cages of the Trump nazi and his henchmen.

"When asked to respond to Cohen's demands for a retraction and apology, Avenatti demurred, responding, "We're only getting started. Michael Cohen has zero credibility. We're going to prove it. And as it relates to my client, it's going to come to an end and we're going to show the American people exactly who Michael Cohen is."

"Avenatti said on Monday that he is in the process of trying to discover the identity of the man Daniels claims threatened her. "You can imagine how terrifying that was for my client," he said. "Is she still being threatened?" asked co-host Gayle King. "Are you worried about her life? Is she worried about her safety?" "Absolutely. She receives threats on a near-hourly basis. Now, we don't have anything tying those to Mr. Cohen or Mr. Trump, to be clear, but she's certainly scared for her safety and the safety of her family."

When you figuratively challenge someone at the top of the food chain, all bets are off. Takes great courage to do so. Hat's off to Ms. Daniels. Expose the nazi son of a bitch for precisely whom and what he is.

Two White House spokespeople have now been asked about this, and both have offered some version of “Not that I'm aware of” while referring questions to Cohen — who isn't elaborating either. The sum total is that we still have no firm denial that Trump was involved in this payment, which makes the White House's efforts to dismiss this as salacious rumor-mongering much more difficult."

What appears to be happening here is the shit is finally hitting the fan. How do you justify the unjustifiable? Payment of hush money is always an issue. Could be quite a legal one if election laws were broken.

Ryan (R-Wis.) that the military should pay for the wall in a meeting last Wednesday in the White House residence, according to three people familiar with the meeting. "In another such interaction with senior aides last week, Trump noted that the Department of Defense was getting so much money as part of the $1.3 trillion spending package that the Pentagon could surely afford the border wall, two White House officials said. Amazing how both major political parties pay lip service to teachers, -- while concertedly screwing them out of what should be theirs. The following is appalling. Seatbelts on. NPR reports:

That's despite the fact they were meeting the program's teaching requirements."

"Without any notice, [my grant] was suddenly a loan, and interest was already accruing on it," says Maggie Webb, who teaches eighth-grade math in Chelsea, Mass. "So, my $4,000 grant was now costing me $5,000." Since 2008, the Education Department has offered these so-called TEACH grants to people studying to get a college or master's degree. The deal is, they get to keep the grant money if they spend four years teaching a high-need subject like math or science in schools that serve low-income families. country, which unlike our own, does value free speech, Net security,
privacy, equally importantly, despises hackers. Banks too big to fail
should not have the ability to shut down ftp servers on four Liberty In
Peril websites, making upload impossible. -- Simply, because they don't
want the truth of their criminal activity reported to the public.

Should this site not be kept up, running, and fully operational, the
libertyinperil.com domain will be quickly moved to a different host
despite cost and hassle. No more bullsh-t. Criminal complaints will be
prepared and filed against Amanda Wright, Lynn Massey, and the equally

Hopefully, now, I can finally get back to the business of this
publication, that is exposure of corrupt, abusive, inept, clueless
government lackeys beholden to their corporate masters, rather than
dealing with recalcitrant webhosts. We'll see. With the
libertyinperil.com domain, however, any necessary changes in webhosts will
be easy to make since all links won't have to be changed or deactivated.

The pressure on Wells Fargo will continue unabated. Should they further
interfere with operation of this publication, it will simply provide
additional fodder for criminal complaints to be filed against them.

On 9-22-15, Kingsland Wells Fargo Store Manager Amanda Wright forced
closure of two accounts because for nearly three years this writer has
publicly accused her, her predecessor Lynn Massey, and the Wells Fargo
corporate management suite of engaging in criminal deceptive trade
practices, as well as pressuring, unduly interfering and/or bribing
webhosts to take these websites down.

Apparently, they have successfully managed to unduly influence and/or
bribe the federal Consumer Financial 'Protection' Bureau and Texas
Attorney General Consumer Protection Division as well. Forget? The bank
is considered too big to fail. Considers itself government.

For all practical purposes, that's perversely true. They have money and
resources to buy not only their human chattel, but their bought and paid
for government lackeys. Be interesting to see whether or not the U.S.
Attorney is untouchable, or sadly, similarly capable of being bought.

Immediately after closure of these accounts, the three operational Liberty
In Peril FTP servers were hacked. What that means is that while all three
sites remained operational and accessible to readers, new material could
not be uploaded. This continues to date.

Worse, 'free' accounts on all three 'free' webhosts conveniently no longer
provide technical control panel support. Clearly, they don't want to know
there are problems. Have managed, however, to find other ways to contact
webhost management and have done precisely that.

Will take a criminal investigation to determine who hacked the sites,

The effort to expose Wells Fargo egregious deceptive trade practices continues. Several years ago to determinedly apply renewed pressure on our truly worthless, egregiously self-serving Texas Attorney General, now Governor, an excoriating email was sent to the bastard. Copies of which were also passed on to both offending Wells Fargo officers. A copy was also sent to the Davis campaign and others at the time.

Voters did have a right to know as Attorney General, the GOP candidate for Governor apparently selectively investigated, or not, bona fide complaints filed by citizens against banks too big to fail. Possibly, Wells Fargo could have lined his pockets in some fashion. That has yet to be determined.

The bastard and his office, no matter what, failed to respond to the complaint originally snail mailed several years ago. This material, figuratively targeting Wells Fargo and the governor 'wannabe' now Governor, had been posted and can be found by scrolling all the way down and clicking on the links well below. ... Governor? Wells Fargo bribe you to look the other way?

Will continue to do all I can to publicly expose this to all, both in this publication and elsewhere. Have done precisely that with the following email sent to Lisa Moore Shawn, Oma's Attic, Kingsland, TX. A copy of it was also sent to Wells Fargo officer Amanda Wright. She has, indeed, been promoted branch manager. Reverse Darwinism. Survival of the unfittest.

This young woman has indeed been rewarded by the Wells Fargo corporate management suite for engaging in criminal deceptive trade practices and her undying loyalty to her corporate masters. The name of this publication was changed some fifteen years ago from The Llano Ledger to Liberty In Peril. The reason? Simple. Cowardly failure of this community to stand up to tyranny that has only exponentially worsened the last decade and a half. Clearly, demonstrated as well by the cowardly failure of businesses to financially support this publication. Either through advertising or other financial support. Too afraid doing so would enrage the bastards who run and own this hellhole County.

-- Despite the fact these businesses were, and are, being egregiously f--ked by these very same bastards. Tough, isn't it? Impossible to entertain any sympathy for cowardice, however. Especially in view of the fact this writer has placed himself in great jeopardy taking on these corrupt, abusive, inept criminal bastards. Alone.

Exactly, why you see no investigative material highly critical of these sons of bitches in other local rags. Sadly, cowardly, all advertising income immediately dries up. Consequently, the bastards continue their criminal chicanery with impunity. On a rampage. Thus, you get what you truly deserve. Always. Precisely, why this earlier name change to Liberty In Peril remains appropriate. -- Despite the fact this writer has not yet left the area. Ten years after originally intending to do so. Thirty years in this goddamned godforsaken hellhole.

This writer, then and now, remains primarily interested in state, federal, and international issues. Another reason for this publication name change. Despite the fact I stupidly cluelessly remain here, local issues mustbe addressed. Can't be ignored. That's where you come in dear readers. Have the courage to inform this writer of local abuse, corruption, ineptness you are aware of, have personally experienced.

... Information these criminal bastards do all they can to conceal, cover up. Otherwise, how can they effectively sustain the charade and intended result? Loot confiscation through a boot heel on the throat of the citizenry.

The only way, short of an unwanted dreaded second American revolution, to force badly-needed change is to expose all this to the light of day. These bastards are beginning to understand they have a problem. No question, the growing rage of those they've abused, looted, egregiously f--ked. It's time to stand up. Expose this corruption to glaring sunlight. Otherwise, as fools, cowards, you will remain under their thumb. From the loftiest business owner to those on the bottom of the food chain. Wake up. For a measly salary, no job security, reduced to no benefits. At a time of record corporate profits and cash reserves.

Then, you gallingly complain about the oppression as you tolerate egregious theft of your labor. Not only by your corporate masters, but their bought and paid for government lackeys. Too cowardly to stand up, allow disclosure of your identity when you rightfully complain to this publication of being mercilessly f--ked. Some of you falsely arrested, criminally assaulted, bogusly fined for 'offenses' you did not commit. To line County coffers. Keep the peasants in line and under control. A fascist police-state. Nazi America.

Again, yet another reason why this publication is called Liberty In Peril. Most galling? Nothing changes if you fail to step up and challenge corrupt, abusive, inept authority. Too afraid, cowardly compliant to let the bastards knowwho you are. Did it ever occur to the cowards out there if the identity of the accuser is kept under wraps the bastards will falsely claim it's all made up by this publication? Thus, conveniently killing all credibility. Wake up.

Cowardice is unbecoming, unworthy of our formerly great country. Insult to injury? There are the hopelessly deranged who believe the chicanery reported here to be manufactured anyway. No matter the effort. No matter the research. No matter the proof. Wake up. This writer cannot do it alone. Snowball's chance in hell. Then again, cowardice, delusion is always amply, justly rewarded. Always. You continue to 'enjoy' the very best government money can buy. Literally.

Cannot do it alone. Impossible. Not sustainable. This publication needs your financial and material support. Both. Time to step up.

Click herefor a most interesting conversation between JP2 Linda Ballard and LCRA Communications Supervisor Mitch Hibbs who at the time was investigating a complaint made by the Henderson family against the 'judge.' The recording had been made by Hibbs and provided by Phyllis Henderson who had gotten it through an open records request. During the course of the recording you will hear the 'judge' make a terroristic threat against the Henderson family which the investigator laughingly shrugged off as a joke.

Seems former LCRA Ranger Lance Bilski, stepson of Llano County Sheriff Bill Blackburn, had been harassing the Henderson family regarding their tire business, Henderson Tire. Worse? There are unsubstantiated allegations, that although very much attached, Bilski may have indeed engaged in improprieties, that is, egregiously unprofessional conduct relevant to the Henderson complaint. All this had been covered in Newsletter Text V346.
