Brother dearest.  ... Been awhile, hasn't it, Bro?  A little antsy?  Wondering when the next shoe is about to fall, that is, when you'll be fully exposed for the thieving son of a bitch you truly are?  Patience.  All in good time, good buddy.  When I'm damned good and ready.  Timing just right.  After all, a son of a bitch who's stolen his father's estate needs to be fully exposed publicly for whom and what he is, don't you think?  Indeed, a public service for your neighbors, professional associates, family, and friends, etc..

Conveniently, forget?  Others need to protect themselves against a fraud who masquerades as both a teacher and a counselor, no?  -- How the hell did you ever pass an MMPI some forty years ago to get hired?  You're not stable.  Have not been.  ... Must have really been pissed off at the old man to rip off an estate, no?  How much did you steal while he was alive and supposedly under your care?

How much did you bribe law enforcement to ignore a complaint I filed with them years before the old man died?  How much did you bribe the prosecutor to ignore a complaint filed with her several years ago?  How much?  Use the old man's money to bribe the bitch?  Her cohorts?  Your law enforcement shysters?  While there may indeed be no justice from a corrupt system, fortunately, I do have a way to publicly expose you for the goddamned thieving son of a bitch you truly are.

... Unlike our grandmother who scrubbed floors on her hands and knees during the Depression for peanuts, only to have what little she had stolen by her son, our uncle, another goddamned thieving son of a bitch just like you.  Remember how, surprise, surprise, there was no life insurance when our grandfather died?  Despite the fact our grandmother gave her thieving bastard son premium money year after goddamned year?  Only, as the thieving son of a bitch he truly was, to have pocketed it.  Again, just like you.

Remember when he booted her out of the house she had bought him when he had had enough of her?  -- Despite the fact he had lied and promised she could stay the rest of her life?  She had to climb two flights of stairs on an ulcerated leg to get to a bathroom he had never built for her at ground level as falsely promised.   Nothing ever happened to the thieving son of a bitch as far as justice was concerned.  Worse, he was never exposed publicly for the thieving son of a bitch he truly was.

Will be different for you, Bro.  While you've bought off authorities, you will be publicly exposed.  In great detail.  In good time.  When I'm damned good and ready.  When exposure will do the maximum figurative damage to your goddamned sordid reputation.  -- Just the truth, brother dearest, however.  Just the truth.

Irony of ironies?  When the thieving son of a bitch died, and our mother was finally informed he had passed, she cried for her brother, -- the bastard thief who stole from her mother.  Sad, isn't it?  Too bad she's not still alive to see you publicly exposed for the goddamned thieving son of a bitch you, yourself, truly are.  As was he.  Not in a court of law you've bought off, however.  Right here.

In good time.  Again, when I'm damned good and ready.  Employing the very same tactics used against Amanda Wright of Wells Fargo.  -- On steroids, however, since all dirty family laundry will be aired.  All of it.  No threat.  A promise.  Emails sent to your neighbors, friends, professional associates, businesses you deal with.  Although an enormous amount of work, all doable courtesy of the Internet.  Despite being some 1,800 miles away.  -- Small world, isn't it, Bro?  Enjoy the stolen loot, you son of a bitch.  Forget?  It's all you have.

Brother dearest.  Save all the check stubs from the old man's accounts?  Fraudulently sign any of them yourself?  Think this material couldn't be obtained from the banks either through discovery or a criminal investigation?  Still own the house on Condict Rd.?   Any other properties besides this one and the old man's you stole with the help of your shyster bastard?  Be interesting to see how far your assets extend and where.  Think all that information isn't accessible?  That I won't determinedly obtain it?

That not only an extensive Internet search will be conducted that will likely take months to complete?  But an extensive background check as well?  Think the Catholic high school you attended shouldn't be informed of the thievery of one of its graduates?  Think the clerics there would be appalled at their failure to teach you right from wrong?  How about both universities?  Think neighbors in the old man's neighborhood won't be informed of your deception?  Think they don't have a right to know?

Ever follow the advice of Dr. Bert Wiser, psychological statistics professor at MSU?  That is, get treatment for your achingly debilitating instability?  Is that why you wound up looting the old man?  Or, is it simply a convenient excuse you'll use to defend the indefensible?  Think this will end any time soon?  That is, public exposure of you as a thieving son of a bitch?  We're just getting started, Bro.  Just getting started.

Don't like it?  Tough shit.  Sue me you thieving son of a bitch.  Would use discovery to learn and post on this website all there is to know about you, your activities, predilections, business 'deals,' as well as all your financial transactions, etc..  All of it.  Would certainly avoid the expense of an extensive background check on you, thieving brother dearest.

Even if you were successful in court, there is nothing for you to take, this remains, as well, a homesteading state where minimal assets are protected anyway.  This site is hosted in an overseas country that doesn't particularly like government intrusion, remains not prone to cooperate.  Besides, can always upload to another webhost in still yet another country.  The possibilities are endless, Bro.  Just takes willingness, effort, unshakable determination.

Even if I lost it all would be more than worth it to expose you for the goddamned thieving son of a bitch you truly are.  Even if you bribed a goddamned nazi 'judge' to remove posted material, would not cooperate and be more than willing to rot in jail.  Would certainly keep reposting it all no matter the cost and/or personal consequences every time it was taken down.  Forget, you thieving son of a bitch?  I never ever give up.

Since all I seek is your exposure for the thief you truly are, would all be worth it.  For the sake of principle.  All the work, financial cost, as well as the time I am about to dedicate to this effort, you deceptive, unstable, sick, thieving son of a bitch.  Unlike you, I live on principle and have absolutely nothing to lose.  You do.  Will certainly take great pleasure and satisfaction in doing all I can to publicly expose you for whom and what you are.

To say nothing of placing enormous pressure on prosecutors you and your equally corrupt shyster son of a bitch apparently bribed.  Don't like it?  Again, tough shit. Chew harder.  The public needs to know to protect itself.  From you and your shyster bastard.  People who live and travel in your circles as well.  Including his.  As a thief, you and he can't be trusted by anyone.  You'll determinedly f--k them.

More than willing to provide this truly public service.  People certainly need to know whom and what you are.  What you have sadly become.  You certainly weren't brought up to be a thieving son of a bitch.  What happened?  Where did you lose yourself, Bro?  -- Never mind.  ... Truly doesn't matter.  Only your exposure.

TC 4-22-16

Hey, Bro?  Remember me?  How soon they conveniently forget.  ... Half asleep? -- Out to lunch?  ... In your own perverse little world?  That of a criminal?  Wake up.  Conveniently, gutlessly forget?  Insanely believe you're someway, somehow off the hook?  Think again.  We're not done.  You remain a thief who will be exposed for whom and what your are.  What you certainly have become.  No question about that.  Patience, you thieving son of a bitch.  Exposure is coming.  Promise.

Think I don't have time?  Truly believe the ongoing Presidential fiasco ends no matter who wins?  The murderous decay in law enforcement gets resolved any time soon?  Criminal Wells Fargo employees from local Kingsland bank manager Amanda S. Wright right up to and including CEO John Stumpf get prosecuted in the near future despite egregious criminal activity?  Wouldn't hold my breath, would you?

Think I don't have time to handle all this and your public exposure for the estate-stealing criminal son of a bitch you've truly become?  How could you steal from the old bastard, you incredibly sad sack of shit?  Certainly weren't brought up to be a thief.  What happened to you?  Where'd you lose yourself?

No question, 2017 will be a most remarkable, defining year for you, Bro.  Public exposure for the thieving piece of shit you've sadly become.  It's on the way. Promise.  Hope you sue.  Nothing for you to take.  Tough, isn't it?  Certainly, makes me judgment proof.  Will certainly, as well, take advantage of discovery.  Publish every detail I can get my hands on.  No matter the consequences.  Only consideration?  Prime directive?  Your exposure for whom and what you are.

Readers?  This not-so-brotherly piece of shit stole from our father.  Manipulated the old man to line his pockets.  Just like our uncle on my mother's side of the family did to my grandmother.  Runs in the family.  Our family.   ... Right, Bro?  This game now gets played my way, -- not yours, you son of a bitch.  That is, no more U.S. Mail tag.

Anything sent by mail will be refused, returned unopened.  Want contact?  Email.  libertyinperil@riseup.net.  Quick.  Easy.  Better yet?  A digital record.  Permanent.  Easily accessible.  Easily uploaded to this site when and if it becomes necessary.  The shyster bastard you hired to steal the estate shouldn't expect escape, either, from public exposure as the thieving piece of shit he, like you, truly both are.  Unscrupulous thieves.

Sincerely hope that piece of crap sues as well.  Nothing to take.  Discovery again would be published no matter the personal cost.  Nothing quite like public exposure, is there?  Especially, when it is nothing but the truth and there is absolutely nothing to lose exposing two pieces of criminal shit for whom and what they are.  Two pieces of gutless human excrement who looted an old man.  ... Right, Bro?

There is no better disinfectant than sunlight, readers.  Glaring sunlight.  Dazzling brilliance.  Amazing how the roaches run for cover.  Equally pointedly, how vermin on two legs manage to so easily prey on the elderly courtesy of the out of control fascist police-state we now live in.  While there'll never be any justice vis a vis this theft, there will be exposure to the brilliant light of day for both criminal perpetrators.  Count on it, you not-so-brotherly criminal son of a bitch.

TC 10-7-16

Hey, Bro?  Hear of Old Sturbridge Village?  Haven't?  ... Not lying, are you, you thieving son of a bitch?  You and your long-term companion EC conspire, bequeath some of the old man's loot to this museum?  An achingly stingy gift of $250-$499, -- considering the size of the estate?  The CEO and Board have any idea you stole it?  Think they'd care?  -- Just getting started, dearest, dearest Bro.  ... Delusionally believe I haven't more than enough time, resources, determination to expose you for the thieving piece of crap you truly are?  ... Under $500 back in 2013?  Remarkably parsimonious with stolen money aren't you?   What does it feel like to have gutlessly ripped off an incompetent old man?  -- Dear old Dad.  Certainly, look forward to digging much deeper into how you and your shyster lawyer managed to bamboozle and loot the old bastard.  Back in the day, certainly wouldn't have fallen for your bullshit.  Would have kicked your worthless, thieving ass out the door.  Intend to expose it to the light of day.  Indeed, a public service. Seatbelts on, you thieving son of a bitch. Tally ho!

TC 3-24-17

... Brief aside, dear readers, for a most exceptional reason.  -- Although infrequent, pressing ongoing personal business must come first on rare occasion.  Hope you agree, moreover, find it entertaining, -- as this writer did crafting what follows.  Principle trumps all.  Remains prime mover, prime directive no matter what.

This pressing issue involves a family thief. A heartless predator preying on the elderly who must be held accountable, exposed to the light of day.  Especially, since authorities failed to do their job.  The following is part of that continuing effort to expose this piece of shit for whom and what he is:

Hey, Bro?  Guess what?  Me, again.  Most determined pain in the ass.  Miss me?  An inconvenient, nagging hemorrhoid that simply won't go away no matter what.  -- A pile with a smile that takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'.

... Delusionally think this most persistent nemesis of yours conveniently disappeared to parts unknown, vanished in thin air? To give a turd a break?  Wake up.  Not a chance, you thieving son of a bitch.  ... When you insanely believe this writer's gone and you're finally in the clear, guess what, here I am, right in your face.

Despite what's going on across our formerly great country, always have more than enough time for personal business.  That is, exposing you, Bro, to the glaring light of day.  A pathetically greedy predator.  Your target, who else, the elderly.  Most defenseless, vulnerable, an easy fleece.  -- Thought you'd steal from the surly old curmudgeon with impunity, no consequences?

Successfully escape accountability?  Avoid detection, all responsibility?  Blatant theft of an old man's estate?  A little help from a bought and paid for hopelessly greedy unprincipled shyster?  Supposed cake walk due to 1800 miles separation?  No one to hold you accountable?  Your feet to the fire?  What could you possibly been thinking?

You've read this publication before.  Know precisely who and what I am, what I do.  Never give up.  Never say die.  Ignore all obstacles.  Know full well Liberty In Peril modus operandi remains as relentlessly ferocious, blindingly intense as ever.

No punches pulled.  No slack.  No personal consideration.  Certainly, not for a gutless son of a bitch, no more than a thieving predator.  Looted target, guess who, dear old dad.  Pitiful.  Delusionally believe you had the booty coming?  An entitlement?  For having had to put up with his shit all those years?  Wake up.

Hear of Historic Deerfield?  Of course, you have, you lying son of a bitch.  Forget?  You're one of their not-so-generous 'benefactors.'  ... With all the money stolen from our father's estate, only bequeath them a piss poor $40 bucks?

Unbelievable.  An achingly tight, cheap, thieving, worthless piece of duplicitous crap.  ... Write-off?  Negligible.  ... Feather in the cap? How?  Delusionally believe your treachery would never see the light of day? What planet do you live on?

Board of Trustees Chair Anne K. Groves know full well you looted the estate?  How about President Philip Zea?  Think both don't have a right to know?  How about Anne Lanning, Vice President For Museum Affairs?  To say nothing of Susan Martinelli, Vice President For Business Affairs?

These officials are entitled to know precisely whom they're doing business with.  A thief.  Gutless phony.  Blow-hard fraud.  Hoity-toity dandy.  Worse?  An unprincipled thief who stole from his father.  ... Glaring light of day sucks, doesn't it, Bro?  No escaping the unvarnished truth, this most bitter reality.  Not a chance.

Saddest of all?  Back in the day, Hell would have frozen over before anyone would have have been able to rip off the craggy old bastard.  Remember quite well how intent, determined he was not to be fleeced late in life by a sick son of a bitch like you.

A leech.  Ironic, isn't it?  Gutless rip off of an old man who couldn't adequately handle his affairs any longer.  How do you sleep nights?

Fraud runs in the family, clearly.  History repeating itself.  Right in the footsteps of our grandmother's son, who callously ripped off his mother decades ago.  Again, another achingly pathetic piece of human excrement.  Just like you.  Intend to lay it bare.  Methodically.  Painstakingly.  In great detail.  Living, breathing color.

For all to see.  A public service.  Exposure of the criminal piece of human excrement you truly are.  For sustained public review.  A goddamned thief.  Pissed? Chagrined?  Nonplused?  Tough shit.  Sue.  Would certainly immediately post all discovery no matter the consequences.

All snail mail will be returned unopened.  No phone tag.  Got something to say?  Email.  Say it right here.  On this website.  In public.  For the world to see.  Will be posted in its entirety.  No editing.  Unlike you, this writer doesn't lie, cheat, steal.  Honors his word.  Intend to expose you precisely for whom and what you are.

Duplicitous predator who preyed on his own father.  Blinding exposure to benefit the community.  Have nothing to lose providing this public service, but you do.  No better disinfectant than sunshine.

.. Think the old bastard not spinning in his grave?  -- Old lady not doing the same?  One thing for certain.  Neither brought you up to be a goddamned thief.  Yet, here we are.  ... Until next time, Tally Ho!

July 28, 2017

Any time a cop does something heroic, and/or of exceptional benefit to the community, it leads.  Always.  This time the cop is a police chief.  CNN reports:

"He's only 24 years old, but he struggled with addiction for more than a decade. Thomas Spikes now owes his sobriety to none other than the chief of police in this small eastern North Carolina town.  "He saved my life for sure," he said. "I owe a lot to him and the program."

This needs to be considered by law enforcement across the country.

"That program, called the HOPE initiative, is a collaboration between Nashville's town manager, Hank Raper, and Chief Thomas Bashore. As deaths from opioids continue to dramatically rise across America, topping the list for unintentional deaths at a higher rate than car accidents, North Carolina saw more than a 340% increase from 2010 to 2016."

Horrendous problem across the nation, calling for a new approach.

"The HOPE initiative, modeled after the innovative "Angel" program in Gloucester, Massachusetts, which opens the way for addicts to get police assistance and medical help without fear of arrest, is a way of rethinking law enforcement's role in responding to this growing epidemic.  "They walk into the front door, if they have drugs or paraphernalia on them at any time, they can turn it in to us at that time, and have no charges filed. And we facilitate them into recovery," Bashore said."

Imagine that.  Who'd 'a 'thunk' it?

"So far the department has seen paraphernalia, syringes, cookers, pipes and injection "rigs" turned in. "We have actually had individuals who have brought in heroin bags and turned that over because they knew that they were going to get into recovery and they didn't want that around when they got out," Bashore said."

Amazing, isn't it?

"Possession of heroin in North Carolina is a felony charge and having paraphernalia is a misdemeanor. Bashore and Raper met with the county's district attorney to ensure he was on board with not charging people. He was in full support."

Stunning, isn't it?  After nearly a half century of the failed drug war, finally, some common sense.

"Bashore has driven many of the 172 men and women of HOPE to a detox facility himself. He has built personal relationships with several rehabilitation facilities across the state that now alert him when there is space available. And the business card he passes out has his personal cellphone number."

Addiction is a medical issue.  This is precisely the way to solve the problem.

"My cellphone, it rings all the time. Each participant who comes through the program and all their family members have it. So, when they need something, they reach out," Bashore said."

Enlightened policing.  Desperately needed across the country.  A breath of fresh air.

"HOPE has created a positive result between the police and the community. Bashore said he wants people to understand that substance abuse is a disease and the police department's intention is to be "supportive not only for their benefit, but for the community benefit."

It's the only way to end the scourge of drug abuse.

"Since the program began, Bashore said, crime is down 40% in the town, about 45 miles northeast of Raleigh. "We've had a pretty significant drop in our crimes that are associated with substance-abuse disorder. Things like shoplifting and larcenies and breaking into cars."

No surprise, is it?  Certainly, benefits the long-suffering community.

"HOPE is not limited to residents of Nashville. People from all over the state have walked through the police station doors, as well as people from California and Pennsylvania."

Stunning, isn't it?

"The program comes at no cost to the participants. It is funded through small grants, fundraisers and donations.  "The chief paid for the first two months that I was there and the rehab I was at," recalled Spikes. Four months removed from rehab, he is now sober after being involved with drugs and alcohol for more than half his life."

Think of the long-term savings to the community in terms of lost productivity, reduction in ancillary crime, theft, break-ins, burglaries, etc. all in an effort to support an addiction.  To say nothing of the loss of life, break up of families, all the other steep social and societal costs of the drug scourge.

"Spikes was skeptical of police and their offer to help. "You don't talk to cops, you don't associate with them, they're not your friends," he said.  That changed quickly. Spikes said he recognized Bashore was solely there to help him, no questions asked. The chief "never tried to pry into anything in my life in that era," Spikes said, "(He doesn't) care who you hang out with, what kind of drugs you do."

This is the correct approach to solve, at least ameliorate, the drug problem.

"Spikes has cycled through countless rehab facilities, but said his life made a complete turnaround because of the chief and the HOPE initiative. "He saved my life for sure because if it wasn't for the HOPE Initiative, I wouldn't have gotten help."  As he hops back on the tiller in the hot summer sun, he smiles and says, "My life has done a 180. I'm working, I have a vehicle, a house, I have a beautiful girlfriend with a baby on the way."

Punishment doesn't solve the problem of addiction.  This approach seems to.  Treatment and follow up support, in tandem, apparently work.

"And as for Bashore, he lives up to the name of his program. He hopes to continue to battle the opioid epidemic in his town, one addict at a time.  "Of those 172 people that have come through the program, I've actually been to two funerals. Knowing what the alternative could have been for Thomas ... (who) just recently disclosed to me that his girlfriend's pregnant, he's going to be a father," he said. "So, that's an amazing thing. That touches me deeply."

Hat's off, Chief.  You're doing a great job.  A credit to the profession.  Amazing how a little enlightenment can go such a long, long way.

Dallas is taking a step in the right direction.  CNN News reports:

"Detroit Deputy Police Chief Ulysha Renee Hall, a 19-year-veteran of that force and the daughter of a cop, will become the first female police chief in Dallas.  The Dallas police chief position was left vacant after Chief David Brown retired in October, a few months after the darkest chapter in the city's law enforcement history, when five officers were killed in a downtown ambush."

This is a step in the right direction for two reasons.  First, a woman will now lead the department.  Second, Chief Hall is black.  Both facts will certainly bring a change in perspective to the office.

"We are a family in blue," Hall told reporters during a news conference in Detroit.  Dallas City Manager T.C. Broadnax celebrated the significance of Hall's appointment as the first female police chief in the city's history.  "Chief Hall is a proven leader with a stellar background and a passion for public service," Broadnax said in a statement announcing the appointment.  Hall said she will bring a woman's touch to leading the Dallas Police Department.  "We kind of do it a little different, a little better," said Hall. "We add that special something to law enforcement that truly, truly calms the savage beasts."

Great truth to that.  Forget?  Testosterone makes men men.  Often, nuts in the brain as well.  LOL.  Joke aside, female officers are not driven by testosterone as their male counterparts.  Not only that, most men are brought up not to hit a woman.  Usually, won't fight a female officer.  Will comply.  Not all, but most.  Giving female officers an edge.

"But Hall takes over a police department in Dallas dealing with low morale, struggling to attract new officers to the force and emerging from a police and fire department pension crisis. Hall was one of seven finalists for the position, according to local news reports."

Hopefully, she'll be that breath of fresh air so desperately needed in law enforcement.  Personally suffered the loss of an officer on duty, her father, at a most tender age:

"Law enforcement runs in the family for Hall. She was just 6 months old when her father, Officer Ulysses Brown, was shot and killed in the line of duty in August 1971.  Brown was working in a specialized police force cracking down on prostitution when he was slain. The killer was never brought to justice, according to WXYZ-TV in Detroit.  "My father not being there meant the same thing as every other child in Detroit or around the world growing up without a father," Hall told WXYZ in a 2016 interview. "It has an impact."  Hall's mother was left to raise the family in the emotional years that followed."

The percentage of women in law enforcement is nowhere near what it needs to be:

"The National Association of Women Law Enforcement Executives, or NAWLEE, says women make up about 13% of all sworn law enforcement officers working in the United States and that number drops at the senior levels of most law enforcement agencies."

This needs to change.  Status quo, unsustainable.

"In 2015, Hall was featured in an interview segment on the Detroit Police Department Facebook page. Hall told young women looking to enter a career in law enforcement to expect to be held to a different standard.  "You can do whatever you put your mind to," Hall said in the video. "You always have to be twice as smart as your counterparts in order to really be taken serious."

This also has to change.  Her male counterparts desperately need to grow up.  Equally important?  Grow a pair.

Here's what not to do if your wife is about to give birth and you're on the way to the hospital.  ABC News reports:

"A Louisiana man who was rushing his wife to the hospital at speeds topping 100 mph (161 kph) missed his child's birth because he was in jail.  KALB-TV reports that Zak Evans was arrested Monday and remained in jail as the couple's daughter was born. His wife, Bridget, received an ambulance ride to a hospital. Evans was given a ticket for speeding, flight from an officer and careless operation."

You think?

"Creola police Chief Heath Landry says an officer clocked the couple going 108 mph (174 kph) in a 55 mph (89 kph) speed zone. He says the officer pulled them over in Pineville."

At least, no one got killed by the speeder.  Better yet, get this:

"The officer who stopped the couple dropped Evans off at the hospital but Evans said he had already missed the birth."

Lucky his ass wasn't still in jail.  LOL.

Think women didn't make significant contributions as pilots during the Second World War?  Decades before allowed to fly in combat?  CBS News reports:

"A 100-year-old woman honored at a New York air show last weekend for her World War II service as a civilian pilot flying military aircraft has died.   According to her obituary posted on the Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home website, Dawn Seymour died Tuesday at her home in the Finger Lakes region. Seymour was among the female aviators honored during the National Warplane Museum air show in nearby Geneseo.   The Rochester native earned a bachelor's degree from Cornell University in 1939. During WWII she served with the Women's Airforce Service Pilots, known as WASPs. Seymour and her fellow WASPs flew bombers and other warplanes in the U.S. to free up male pilots for combat service overseas."

Think these women weren't instrumental in training the men to fight?

"I flew gunners on their training missions to learn how to fire the 50-caliber machine guns from a moving platform to a moving target," Seymour told CBS News' David Martin in 2010.  In 2010, the WASPs were awarded the Congressional Gold Medal, among the nation's highest civilian honors."

Think the following isn't sage advice?

"We must find some way in solving our difficulties and our challenges besides killing each other," Seymour said. "And that's the message I'd like to leave. And when you notice people being kind to you, thank them, and you be kind to other people.  And I think that's the message I'd like to leave."

Think death from sweltering heat in Texas prisons just punishment?  CNN News reports:

"The Texas Department of Criminal Justice has 15 days to come up with a plan to house some 500 "heat-sensitive" inmates at Wallace Pack Unit in living quarters exceeding no more than 88 degrees. The ruling, issued Wednesday by US District Judge Keith Ellison, also calls for easy access to respite areas for the remaining 1,000 inmates at the unit, which is located about 75 miles northwest of Houston.  The preliminary injunction stems from a lawsuit filed in 2014 seeking cooler temperatures for inmates, citing a spate of deaths in the previous three years."

You Republican fascists here in Nazi Llano County have a problem with this ruling?

"Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton vowed to appeal the ruling, saying the state has taken significant measures to mitigate the effects of the sweltering conditions.  Inmates are allowed to wear shorts and t-shirts in housing areas during summer months, the ruling notes. They can seek relief in air-conditioned areas, including an infirmary, administration offices, visitation areas, the education department and the barbershop."

Wouldn't want to confuse the Paxton nazi with the truth:

"But, after a nine-day hearing in June 2017, Ellison concluded the measures are insufficient to combat the risk of serious injury or death in summer months. In his ruling, the judge quotes Russian novelist Fyodor Dostoyevsky's  famous line about Siberian prisons: "The degree of civilization in a society can be judged by entering its prisons."  "Prisoners are human beings with spouses and children who worry about them and miss them," Ellison continues. "Some of them will likely someday be shown to have been innocent of the crimes of which they are accused. But, even those admittedly guilty of the most heinous crimes must not be denied their constitutional rights. We diminish the Constitution for all of us to the extent we deny it to anyone."

Certainly, not how a Republican nazi views reality.  Think Paxton will ever go to trial?  Successfully, continue to stonewall?  Despite having been indicted for white collar crimes?  Think if convicted he'll do time in one of these gulags?

Think police incapable of planting evidence?  Wake up.  NPR reports:

"A Baltimore man was held in jail for months after police found a stash of drugs — but the officer who found the drugs also seems to be the one who hid them in that spot, according to footage from his body camera. The public defender's office says the man is now free and it is questioning the officer's involvement in 53 active cases.  The officer has been suspended and two of his colleagues are on administrative duty, Baltimore Police Commissioner Kevin Davis said, as the agency's internal affairs unit looks at the case."

This case is achingly convoluted:

"The recording is from the afternoon of Jan. 24, when the officer, Richard Pinheiro, was standing in the trash-strewn backyard of a row house along with two other officers. At the start of the footage, Pinheiro is seen holding a soup can with a clear plastic bag stuffed into it. He then places the can among rubbish, before leading the other officers out of the narrow access alley.  On the sidewalk, Pinheiro activates his body-cam — apparently unaware that the device would also preserve his earlier actions. "Police cameras have a feature that saves the 30 seconds of video before activation, but without audio," The Baltimore Sun reports."

Think the following isn't diabolically evil?

"I'm gonna go check here, hold on," the officer tells his colleagues, walking back to the property — and seeming to spark laughter from his fellow officers. After a "search" that lasts about 15 seconds, he picks up the soup can, pulls out the plastic bag and displays it to the camera, showing that it's holding white capsules.  "Yo," he yells. "Hold up."

Consequences of this evil?

"The operation resulted in an arrest and months of jail time for the suspect, who wasn't released until the public defender's office sent the body-cam video to the state attorney's office last week. He was held while unable to post $50,000 bail, the Sun reports."

You Llano County Republican nazis approve?  Applaud this criminal jackbooted son of a bitch? Your kind of 'justice?'

"The public defender's office says that despite the prosecutor's claims of being "appalled" by the incident, "Officer Pinheiro was called to testify in another case the following week without any disclosure of this videotape."

Funny thing, isn't it?

"The office says Pinheiro is named as a witness in some 53 active cases."

No problem with this, TL?  TB?

"Baltimore Police say they're investigating the accusation that the officer planted evidence, after being informed by the state attorney's office.  "This is a serious allegation of police misconduct," Davis said. "There is nothing that deteriorates the trust of any community more than thinking for one second that uniformed police officers, or police officers in general, would plant evidence of crimes on citizens."

Happens all the time.  ... Right, Sheriff?  How the County lines its pockets.  Trust?  What trust?  That's been gone in this country a long, long, long time.

Firefighters go all out to save lives.  Including pets.  CBS/AP reports:

"A California fire department says a little white dog named Jack is recovering after firefighters rescued him from a burning home and brought him back to life.  In a video posted to the Bakersfield Fire Department's website that has been widely shared online, firefighter Matt Smith is shown carrying the nearly lifeless shih tzu from the house on Wednesday.  Using a pet oxygen mask donated to the department by a local Girl Scout troop, Smith and his partners slowly bring Jack back to life.  By the end of the video, Jack is sitting up, alert and looking around, though panting heavily. He was then reunited with his worried owners, a married couple who were unharmed by the fire."

Spectacular job.

"He's my family, he's my guy, he waits for me every night when I come home," said owner Jeff Garnett to CBS affiliate KBAK. " He's going to be fine, we're going to be fine too, I couldn't be more grateful or appreciative for what they've done."

Never gave up, despite things not looking good:

"Jack suffered respiratory tract injuries and burns to his feet, but the dog was doing well on Friday after receiving extensive oxygen therapy, department spokesman John Frando said.  Frando, who shot the video of Jack's rescue, said it looked so dire for the pooch that at one point he stopped recording.  "I thought Jack was going to die," he said. "He was in really bad shape."  Frando said Smith found Jack behind a couch in the home, which was billowing with smoke by the time they arrived. Smith and Jack were reunited Thursday at the veterinary hospital where he was being treated."

Hat's off to the firefighters.  Job well done.  Indeed, saved the day.

In follow up to the last edition, sad, sad news.  The Washington Post reports:

"Charlie Gard's parents have decided to end their legal fight over the treatment of their terminally ill child. The months-long, emotionally charged case sparked a bioethical debate about end-of-life issues and captured the attention of world leaders, including Pope Francis and President Trump.  Attorney Grant Armstrong said the boy's parents, Chris Gard and Connie Yates, are withdrawing their appeal of court orders that say Charlie's treatment should end, according to the Associated Press.  Yates and Gard cried in court as their attorney said time had run out for their 11-month-old, after a U.S. doctor said it was too late to give the baby an experimental treatment on which the couple had pinned their hopes."

Seatbelts on:

"Outside the hospital where Charlie is being treated, his father gave an emotional statement, saying the family might never know what would have happened had Charlie been allowed to receive the experimental therapy earlier in his short life.  “Had Charlie been given the treatment sooner, he would have had the potential to be a normal, healthy little boy,” Chris Gard said, fighting back tears.  With Charlie’s mother standing by his side, Gard decried the “time wasted” by court battles and said that as a result of the delays and legal barriers, his son would not live to see his first birthday, on Aug 4.  “We will have to live with the what-ifs that will haunt us for the rest of our lives,” the father said."

There should have been no court battle at all over whether the parents could bring their son to the United States for evaluation and possible treatment.  Then again, must not be forgotten the couple and their son were under British jurisdiction.  Clearly, liberty is threatened not only in the United States, but all across the globe.

"After Charlie's parents made their announcement on Monday, the hospital released a statement defending its decisions, while also commending the parents."

Big of them, no?

“The agony, desolation and bravery of their decision command GOSH’s utmost respect and humble all who work there,” the statement said. “While GOSH has striven to work with them throughout, Charlie’s needs have taken priority.”

Doesn't appear to be the case, does it?

"Yates said she hoped her son's life wouldn't be in vain.  “We only wanted to give him a chance of life,” she said.  Gard and Yates said they plan to spend Charlie's final moments by his side in the hospital.  “We will let our son go and be with the angels,” Gard said."

The fact the courts wouldn't allow them to seek evaluation and treatment outside British jurisdiction remains appalling.

NPR reports:

"The parents of terminally ill British baby Charlie Gard have ended their legal fight to transport him to the U.S. for experimental treatment, concluding a months-long saga that has raised nearly $1.75 million and elicited support from Pope Francis and President Trump.  The couple's lawyer, Grant Armstrong, told the London High Court that new medical tests have shown that the experimental treatment would not help at this point, according to The Associated Press. "It's too late for Charlie," Armstrong said. "The damage has been done."

Amazing how liberty is under dire attack.  Government seems to think it owns its citizens womb to tomb.  A world-wide problem.

Coup de grace?  Chagrin of the hospital at pointed criticism directed at it:

"The case has resonated internationally, and the chairman of the hospital said in a statement that members of its community have been "subjected to a shocking and disgraceful tide of hostility and disturbance." Mary MacLeod added that "thousands of abusive messages have been sent to doctors and nurses whose life's work is to care for sick children," including death threats.  The AP writes that the judge condemned the abuse, "but stressed that these had nothing to do with the boy's parents." The wire service adds that at the hearing, Judge Nicholas Francis said, "No parent could have done more for their child."

At the same time, the courts did nothing.  Failed the parents and the child.  Denied them the right to seek evaluation and treatment overseas.  Appalling.  So are the death threats coming from the hospital's critics.  These threats should be investigated and prosecuted.  Achingly unacceptable in a supposedly civilized world.

Wake up, Sheriff. Again, where is dashcam video of the killing of Jeffrey Gray Wise, 52, of Austin by DPS and the Llano County Sheriff's Office?  Sixty-six weeks, now.  A goddamned disgrace.  Why are you still sitting on this information?  What are you hiding, Sheriff?  What is the identity of the officers who killed Wise?  Too gutless to release this information to the public that pays your salary and that of your goons?  Reportedly, there were three officers involved in the shooting.

Who are they, Sheriff?  Their past history?  An ongoing investigation remains a lame bullshit excuse.  How can you and your goons be trusted when you refuse to disclose information?  Sixty-six weeks.  Especially, your egregious failure to disclose the identity of the officers who pulled the trigger.  To cover your sorry ass, Sheriff?  Those of your thugs?  The people have a right to know what happened, how it went down.  You don't understand that, Sheriff?  Sadly, clearly, you answer to no one.  Including taxpayers.  Especially, taxpayers.

Until you and your goons come clean, doubt will remain this was indeed a good shoot.  The longer you drag your feet, the greater the doubt.  Think not?  Wake up.  Your credibility has tanked.  Isn't getting any better as this bullshit continues unabated.  Sixty-six weeks.   Still no identification of the officers involved  ... Can't get your stories straight?  In line?  Discrepancy between LCSO and DPS? Wake up, Sheriff.  The public no longer buys the bullshit.  No longer trusts you.  On this and many, many other issues.  You have no credibility.  Absolutely, none.

Readers, this is but one of about four other highly questionable killings by law enforcement in Llano County in the last decade or so.  There was one within the City of Llano, another in a field near Fuzzy's Corner, Buchanan Dam, yet another in Point Tella, Buchanan Dam, still another in Tow.  If there are any others I may have neglected to mention, kindly email.

It's time the public be fully informed.  -- Know what we're dealing with here and how 'law' 'enforcement' operates in this hell hole County.  If these jackbooted bastards are not reined in, the life lost could be yours courtesy of a law enforcement system that is no longer accountable to anyone.  ... Right, Sheriff?  TL?  "Sonny Boy?"  Madam County Attorney?

The Sheriff seems to have no clue the people who pay him and his goons are entitled to know whom is killing whom and why.  This shit always seems to be swept under the carpet.  Ignored.  The attitude of these jackbooted sons of bitches is trust us.  They can't be.  They've lied too many times.  Refuse to be accountable to anyone.  We live in a goddamned fascist police-state where law enforcement does as it pleases.  Usually, with impunity.  That has to change.

The Texas Rangers have become rubber stamp to atrocities committed by law enforcement.  This also has to change.  No one is holding law enforcement accountable any longer.  No one.  No one in state or federal government. This is precisely why Ferguson triggered such an uproar.  There was no justice there.  None here.  None anywhere.  Officers are abusive, corrupt, inept.

Falsely ticket and arrest the innocent to line County coffers.  Court fees charged continue to be horrendous.  -- Aren't taxpayers already looted to pay these costs?  Aren't you boys not only double f--king those falsely accused, but taxpayers also hellaciously looted to pay the very same costs?   Yet, the criminal bastards in power in Llano continue to pile on the fees.  This is nothing more than goddamned bullshit.  This money finds its way into the pockets of the corrupt, abusive bastards who falsely believe they run and own this hell hole.

Would you believe the last time the Sheriff's Office happened to be 'audited' during the Garrett regime, reportedly, auditors couldn't figure out what went where and why?  Yet, surprise, surprise.  Nothing was done.  There has to be transparency.  There is none.  Why would these thieving bastards want any?  ... Right, Sheriff?  TL?  How else could they so easily steal and loot with virtual impunity?  Worse, this reinforces jackbooted power in this goddamned, godforsaken hell hole County.

The public has a right to know the histories of the Sheriff's goons.  Clearly, the Sheriff doesn't think so.  That is, where they came from.  Why they left where they were.  What is happening here is the Sheriff is using 'personnel matters' as a convenient excuse to deny the public access to the history of outrageously corrupt, abusive, inept officers who are no more than criminals themselves.

He's protecting his outrageously corrupt, abusive, inept jackbooted bastards.  Worse, the standards imposed by sheriff's offices statewide with the exception of metropolitan counties are well below those of DPS and city police departments.  Why?  So the corruption, abuse, ineptness, and outright stealing can continue unabated?  This has to change.  ... Can't have that, can we?  Sheriff?  TL?

The public should understand Llano County authorities have it all sewn up.  Did you know the Texas Attorney General does not have the authority to investigate and prosecute County authorities on his own?  The District Attorney has to call for an investigation by the Texas Rangers.  Then, the State can prosecute if it so chooses.

Consequently?  Guess what?  Nothing will happen.  Nothing ever does.  The goddamned corruption continues unabated until you, the public, pressure authorities.  Precisely, why we all enjoy the 'best' government money can buy. Literally.  Without question, the corrupt, abusive, inept sons of bitches are all bought and paid for.  Firmly clamped to the taxpayer tit.  Dependent on money looted from innocent citizens caught in their web.  Phony fines and court costs cleverly designed to f--k the innocent and enrich the pieces of shit who falsely believe they run and own Llano County. Right, Sheriff?  TL?  "Sonny Boy?"  Madam County Attorney?

Interestingly, the former Sheriff and District Attorney were reportedly forced to retire after an outrageous scandal involving a drunk driving police officer from out of town.  Including special treatment of the drunken son of a bitch that no other citizen caught doing the same would have been afforded.  An honest, honorable Llano County Deputy suffered the consequences.  Forget?  Great officers do not last in this hell hole County. ... Right, Sheriff?  TL?  "Sonny Boy?"  Madam County Attorney?

With all ongoing abuse in this goddamned County, one thing remains for damned sure.  We're just getting started, Sheriff.  You will continue to be exposed for whom and what you and your corrupt, abusive, inept jackbooted bastards have become, truly are, not what you phonies purport to be, that is, how you continue to f--k over a public you've falsely sworn to protect and defend.  -- Exposure, the only way short of an unwanted dreaded revolution to force desperately needed change in a goddamned fascist police-state. The Fourth Reich.

Have your jackbooted thugs been tested for steroids, Sheriff?  If you've nothing to hide, Bill, release the results of all drug testing.  'Personnel matters?'  Bullshit.  Looted taxpayers have the right to know.  They're footing the bill for all this goddamned corruption, abuse, ineptness.  When will you and the boys end the shakedowns?  Looting of the innocent to line County coffers?  No honor at all?

Where are your swastika armbands, you fascist son of a bitch?  You and your thugs remain out of uniform.  Once again, Sheriff, and ad nauseum, did you and/or your goons pressure Schilling to exit the race?  Did you steal the election?  If so, an aggressively stupid, achingly gutless public gets what it truly deserves.  One of the most corrupt, abusive, inept 'law' 'enforcement' agencies in our formerly great country.

Have any information, knowledge of, experience with a purportedly non-profit volunteer clean-up group called Looking Forward In Llano County affiliated with the Llano County Attorney's Office?  Email this publication at libertyinperil@openmailbox.org to provide information and/or arrange a meeting to discuss this matter.  If requested, your identity will be protected.  The question is quite simple.  Is this group what it claims to be and on the level?

In follow up to an earlier edition here and elsewhere, CBS News reports:

"A Los Angeles police officer has been charged with sexually assaulting a 15-year-old cadet, prosecutors announced Friday.  The Los Angeles County district attorney's office said 31-year-old Robert Cain is expected to be arraigned Friday on charges that include unlawful sexual intercourse.  Cain was arrested in June amid a widening investigation into wrongdoing in the department's cadet program for minors who are aspiring officers.  Prosecutors said Cain befriended the teenage cadet and had sex with her on three occasions at three locations. Cain's attorney declined to comment Friday on the allegations."

Consider the following. The Washington Times reports:

"Earlier this month a group of Florida teens filmed and mocked a disabled man while he was drowning in a retention pond, police said.  Jamel Dunn, 32, drowned in a retention pond off Plaza Parkway in Cocoa, Florida, on July 9 — his body was found July 12, Florida Today reported. There were no calls to 911 from the teens, police said."

Think their parents did a good job raising these kids?

"Video released by the state attorney’s office Thursday showed the man’s head bobbing up and down in the water as five boys between the ages of 14 and 16 recorded the incident with a cell phone on a nearby bank."

Gets worse.  Seatbelts on.

“F—ing junkie, get out the water, you gonna die!” one yelled.  “Ain’t nobody gonna help you, you dumb b—!,” another said. “You should’ve never got in there!”  At one point, the teens are overheard telling each other they’re not afraid of seeing a dead body. They then howled with laughter when Dunn let out a loud scream, presumably just before he went under for the last time.  “He just died!” one kid cackled."

You Llano County Republican nazis consider this 'good' 'Christian' upbringing?  Clincher?

"Police said Dunn went to the pond following an argument with his fiancée about 10-to-15 minutes before his drowning. Police are unsure if his death was a suicide attempt."  “The kids were at the park that day smoking marijuana and apparently saw him walk into the water. He walked in on his own. They were watching him,” Cocoa police spokeswoman Yvonne Martinez told a local CBS affiliate. “They just started recording what happened and watched until he died.”

Stellar example of 'Christian' 'charity?'

Police reaction?

"Cocoa Police Chief Mike Cataloupe called the teens’ actions “utterly inhumane and cruel,” but not criminal. State law doesn’t require people to help or call 911 when someone is in distress, CBS reported.  “Short of them pushing him in the water, we don’t have anything that can hold them accountable on a criminal level,” Ms. Martinez said."

In follow up to the last edition here and elsewhere, CNN reports:

"Valerie Castile and Don Damond embraced each other minutes before the "Justice for Justine" rally in suburban Minneapolis.  A mother and a fiancé were bonded by two separate fatal police shootings that ignited outrage beyond Minnesota.  "They're beginning to understand this is not a black or white thing. This is a human being thing," Castile said at Thursday's rally protesting Justine Ruszczyk's death. "This is a humanity type thing."

That's right.  Remains an issue of out of control, criminal, murderous, jackbooted bastards in blue who are not held accountable for their crimes.  All over our formerly great country.

"Castile's son, Philando, was shot by police last July after being pulled over for a busted brake light. In June, the cop who shot him was found not guilty of manslaughter.  Damond's fiancé, Ruszczyk, was shot by police on Saturday after she called 911 to report a possible sexual assault near her home. The officers tried to call for medical help after she was hit, but it was too late."

The son of a bitch that killed her will not talk to investigators, citing the right not to self-incriminate.  Indeed, has that right.  Police also have the duty to arrest and charge him with the crime.  Let a jury decide.

Exceptionally heartrending?  Get this:

"For Castile, the moment was poignant.  "It was very symbolic for us because she was murdered on my son's birthday," she said. "So it was very symbolic for us and we had to come out and support her..."  Castile and Damond met for the first time Thursday outside his home just steps away from where Ruszczyk was killed.  They are forever linked to the same cause -- the search for answers from police departments reckoning with two high-profile shootings."

Indeed.

"This should not have happened," Minneapolis Chief Janee Harteau said of Ruszczyk's shooting. "On our squad cars you will find the words: 'To protect with courage and serve with compassion." This did not happen."

No, it didn't.  Yet, you haven't arrested and charged the son of a bitch.  Why not?  Especially, since he has refused to talk to investigators.  Had it been anyone other than a jackbooted bastard in blue his ass would have been quickly arrested and hauled to jail.  No equal justice.  Not in a goddamned fascist police-state soon to be the Trump nazi's Fourth Reich.

"On Thursday, the same outrage roared through the streets of Minneapolis as hundreds came together to demand "Justice for Justine."  The protesters chanted "prosecute the police, no justice, no peace," in the same tone many had chanted "black lives, they matter here" just a year earlier when Castile was killed."

Protest must remain peaceful.  Otherwise, you grant these achingly gutless jackbooted murderers in blue carte blanche to murder on the job.  With impunity.

"Neighbors in Ruszczyk's predominately white neighborhood addressed their own shattered trust in a fair policing system.  "People of color have been killed by police for far too long," one neighbor said. "It's way past time for me and other white people to wake up."  Castile said regardless of skin color, she knew another person would be killed by the police after Yanez was found not guilty.  "...like I said after the verdict they were going to kill again," she said. "And they have."

Indeed.  So far?  With impunity.

In another article, CNN reports:

"An Australian woman killed last weekend by Minneapolis police "didn't have to die," the city's police chief said Thursday.  "This should not have happened," Chief Janeé Harteau said in her first public comments since Justine Ruszczyk, 40, was killed Saturday, minutes after calling police to report a possible sexual assault near her home. "On our squad cars, you will find the words: 'To protect with courage and serve with compassion.' This did not happen."

No, it didn't.  Not the first time either.

"Harteau couldn't address the fatal shooting in person earlier because she was away backpacking in the mountains and could not return sooner, she said."

Goddamned unbelievable.  Rings achingly hollow.

"The police chief said she spoke to Ruszczyk's fiancé on Thursday morning and told him the shooting shouldn't have happened. She also pledged to strengthen the department's body camera policy, including exploring new technology that could activate officers' body cameras when their squad car lights are turned on.  Neither the squad car's dashcam nor either of the officers' body cameras was on at the time of Ruszczyk's shooting, officials said."

That contradicts earlier reports the dashcam was indeed on but didn't capture the shooting.

"It is my belief that the body cameras should've been activated," Harteau said, based on information she's received from the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, dubbed BCA. "My expectation is that our policy is followed."

Clearly, wasn't.  Why not?  Why hasn't the son of a bitch been arrested?  Had it been Joe Blow down the block his ass would certainly have been.  Especially, if the suspect refused to talk to investigators citing Fifth Amendment right to silence.

"Officer Mohamed Noor fired the fatal shot, Noor's partner, Matthew Harrity, has told BCA investigators, the agency said.  Harteau said Noor was fully trained and performed very well in his field training. She said her opinions on the shooting were based on the information released so far by the BCA.  "I believe the actions in question go against who we are as a department, how we train and the expectations we have for our officers," she said.  "These were the actions and judgment of one individual."  She assured Ruszczyk's family, the community and Australians "that I will do everything in my power to make sure due process is followed and justice is served."

Haven't done so, Chief, -- so far.  Further indication of what went down:

"Some of the first clues emerged this week about what may have led to the police shooting of Ruszczyk.  She made two 911 calls Saturday night to report a possible sexual assault near her home, according to transcripts the city released Wednesday.  "I can hear someone out the back and I, I'm not sure if she's having sex or being raped," Ruszczyk said in the first call.  "... And I think she just yelled out 'help,' but it's difficult. The sound has been going on for a while, but I think, I don't think she's enjoying it," Ruszczyk said. The dispatcher told her police would arrive soon.  Eight minutes later, Ruszczyk called 911 again, saying officers had not arrived. At 11:35 p.m., the dispatcher told her police were on the way.  Officers Harrity and Noor arrived on the scene a short time later.  As they drove down the alley in their squad car, Harrity heard a loud sound that startled him, the officer told the BCA, the agency said.  That's when Ruszczyk approached Harrity's driver's-side window, Harrity told investigators. Noor, sitting in the passenger seat, fired his gun and shot Ruszczyk through the driver's-side window, Harrity said."

Seems Noor may have 'choked' in fear, killing the woman.  Harrity is lucky he wasn't hit by the round.  What is striking so far is the fact protest by both supporters of the murderous jackbooted bastards in blue as well as their critics remains remarkably nearly non-existent.  Chilling, isn't it?  The perpetrating officer, non-white.  His victim, white and foreign.  Speaks volumes, doesn't it?  Where are the police unions and Black Lives Matter?  Out to lunch?

Apparently, pressure on the Chief was too much to bear.  CNN reports:

"Minneapolis Police Chief Janeé Harteau resigned Friday, less than a week after a city officer shot and killed a woman who had called officers for help.  Harteau, chief since 2013, said the killing of Justine Ruszczyk was among several factors that led her to step down.  "Last Saturday's tragedy, as well as some other recent incidents, have caused me to engage in deep reflection," she said in a statement. "I've decided I am willing to step aside to let a fresh set of leadership eyes see what more can be done for the MPD to be the very best it can be."

You failed to do your duty, that is, control your jackbooted thugs.

"Mayor Betsy Hodges said she asked Harteau to resign because "I've lost confidence in the chief's ability to lead us further -- and from the many conversations I've had with people around our city, especially this week, it is clear that she has lost the confidence of the people of Minneapolis as well."

Why haven't you resigned, Madam Mayor?  Where have you been since taking office?

"Ruszczyk's death didn't lead to street protests, but protesters drowned out Hodges when she tried to announce the replacement chief Friday night at city hall.  "We don't want you as our mayor of Minneapolis anymore," shouted activist John Clark. "We ask that you take your staff with you. We don't want you to appoint anyone anymore."  "Bye-bye, Betsy," the crowd chanted. Unable to finish her statement, Hodges and the city communications staff walked out of the room.  Hodges returned to the microphone about 20 minutes later, after the protesters left, and announced that Assistant Chief Medaria "Rondo" Arradondo will move into Harteau's job. The mayor said she would not resign."

Aryan arrogance.  Certainly part of the problem.  Failed to rein in the department as Mayor.

The following is the take of NPR:

"Harteau released a statement that said she has reflected on "last Saturday's tragedy, as well as some other incidents" and concluded that she is "willing to step aside to let a fresh set of leadership eyes" take over the Minneapolis Police Department.  "The recent incidents do not reflect the training and procedures we've developed as a Department," Harteau said. "Despite the MPD's many accomplishments under my leadership over these years and my love for the City, I have to put the communities we serve first."  Minneapolis Mayor Betsy Hodges issued a statement saying, "I've lost confidence in the Chief's ability to lead us further — and from the many conversations I've had with people around our city, especially this week, it is clear that she has lost the confidence of the people of Minneapolis as well."

Not good enough.  Nowhere near.  Status quo remains dangerously unsustainable.  Yet, no hint of change.  No willingness to end the insanity.

Sweltering heat in prisons is not just an issue in Nazi Texas.  CBS News reports:

"St. Louis police in riot gear used pepper spray to disperse protests Friday outside a jail that has drawn intense criticism for not having air-conditioning while the city has faced a heat wave.  About 200 people demonstrated for the closure of the St. Louis Workhouse, a medium-security jail, CBS affiliate KMOV reports. The jail, mainly built in the 1960s, has no air conditioning while temperatures have hit triple digits. In a video posted on Facebook earlier this week, inmates can be heard yelling "help us!" and "we ain't got no A/C!"

Matters not.  Forget?  No human rights in American gulags.

"According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, the protesters outside chanted "let them go" while inmates responded "let us out!" At least one person was arrested and several protesters' cars were towed away, KMOV reports."

Unlike in Nazi Texas, a politician was willing to stand up:

"Among the protesters was State Sen. Jamilah Nasheed, who is pushing for reform of the jail. She told KMOV she has urged Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens to tour the facility "so that he can see the conditions of this facility and how it's being ran."  "Inhumane," she said. "It's deplorable and it should not be accepted under any circumstances."

Not the way things are in Nazi America, a fascist police-state, soon to be the Trump nazi's Fourth Reich.

"State Representative Joshua Peters told KMOV earlier this week that he visited the jail and "the conditions that we have them in is unconstitutional to some degree." He said in addition to the heat, "individuals were screaming out that they had been bitten by rodents."

So what?  Forget?  Human rights do not exist in our gulags.  By design.  ... Right, TL?  TB?  Get what they deserve, right, boys?

The insanity in law enforcement continues unabated.  NBC News reports:

"Police in Mississippi fatally shot a man after trying to serve an arrest warrant at the wrong address, a lawyer for the victim's family told NBC News.  The officers shot and killed Ismael Lopez, 41, while they were attempting to arrest his neighbor, Samuel Pearman, on a domestic abuse charge Sunday night in Southaven.  DeSoto County prosecutor John Champion told the Clarion-Ledger that at least one officer fired multiple shots after a pit bull ran out of the house and seeing Lopez holding a gun."

Murderous Keystone Kops.

"Murray Wells, the Lopez family’s attorney, told NBC News that the Southaven Police Department had been asked to execute an arrest warrant for Pearman, which had been called in from neighboring Tate County.  Lopez and his wife lived 36 feet from Pearman, and the addresses on both homes were clearly displayed on the residences and mailboxes, according to Wells.  “They go to execute the warrant and go to the absolutely wrong address,” Wells said. “The address is very clearly marked. Even more ironic, the man who is the suspect, has a giant ‘P’ on the side of his house.”

Goddamned pitiful.

"Champion, the prosecutor, told the newspapers, "while this is going on, they also notice at the time that a gun was pointed outside the residence.”  “At this point, the officers began hollering ‘Put the gun down, put the gun down.’”  Champion said Lopez did not drop his weapon and more than one shot was fired toward the door. Wells denied that his client was holding a weapon at the time.  Wells said Lopez’s wife and neighbors all said they did not hear the police calling out commands prior to shooting, and he believes police shot through the door.  “There’s been lots of talk about a series of verbal commands, saying my client had a gun. The evidence doesn’t suggest that,” Wells said. “His wife denies that she heard any instructions from police. One neighbor, whose bedroom is fairly near the front of the house, didn’t hear verbal commands.”

Someone's lying.  Guess who?

"A gun was in Lopez’s house, Wells said, but he didn’t have it when he opened the door, and it was found on the couch with no blood on it, where it had been left. Wells said the gun was owned by Lopez’s son.  Champion added that the “deceased subject absolutely had no warrant for his arrest,” and “was not wanted for anything at all.”

Clearly, don't have to be.  Not in the goddamned fascist police-state we already live in, soon to be the Trump nazi's Fourth Reich.

"The officer involved has been placed on administrative duty.  The department is also currently being sued by another family."

Couldn't be, could it?

"Troy Goode, 30, died in 2015 after he was “hogtied” by Southaven police and placed face-down on a stretcher after taking LSD.  The asthmatic died two hours later.  “His face was buried in the mattress of the stretcher,” lawyer Tim Edwards told NBC News in 2015. “There was a strap over the back of his head so he couldn’t move his head. His hands and feet were hogtied so he couldn’t move those, either.”

Police are out of control.

Another police dog dies in a hot vehicle.  CBS News reports:

"An Indiana sheriff's deputy has been suspended for 30 days following the death of a police dog that he left for hours inside a hot patrol car.  The DeKalb County Sheriff's Department said Deputy Courtney Fuller is suspended without pay for 30 days. The department said an investigation determined Fuller didn't commit a crime but that he violated employee standards of conduct.  Sheriff Don Lauer said Fuller left Mojo in his patrol car outside his home at 3 p.m. July 6. He was distracted by a situation involving his newborn child and forgot Mojo, finding him dead four hours later."

Think Joe Blow down the block would have been afforded similar treatment?

Another sad case of police brutality.  CBS News reports:

"Two Omaha police officers will face assault charges in the death of a mentally ill man who was shocked with a stun gun a dozen times and repeatedly punched, even after he was on the ground, a Nebraska prosecutor said Wednesday."

Forget?  The American Way.

"Douglas County Attorney Don Kleine made the announcement while revealing police video that captured the altercation officers Scotty Payne and Ryan McClarty had with 29-year-old Zachary Bearheels at an Omaha convenience store last month. Kleine said he wouldn't file more serious charges against the officers because a coroner could not directly link their actions to the Oklahoma man's death."

Convenient, isn't it?

"Police cruiser video shows Payne using a stun gun to shock Bearheels and McClarty punching Bearheels. Some of the blows came after Bearheels was on the ground and not resisting. Kleine said he would charge Payne with second-degree assault, a felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison. He said he's charging McClarty with third-degree assault, a misdemeanor punishable by up to one year in prison."

More trouble in Trump paradise.  The Washington Post reports:

"Attorney General Jeff Sessions said Thursday that he plans to stay in his job despite the president’s public assertion that he would not have nominated Sessions to the post had he known that he would recuse himself from the investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election."

Think that appropriate of an American president?

"At a news conference ostensibly meant to announce the takedown of an illicit online marketplace, Sessions said he had the “honor of serving as attorney general,” and he planned “to continue to do so as long as that is appropriate.” Asked how he could keep working, having apparently lost President Trump’s confidence, Sessions responded: “We’re serving right now. The work we’re doing today is the kind of work that we intend to continue."

What's Trump's beef?  Sessions continues to do his bidding.  That is, extend the fascist police-state we already live in to the Fourth Reich.

"On Wednesday, the New York Times published an article about an interview with Trump in which the president said he would not have appointed Sessions attorney general had he known Sessions would recuse himself from the investigation into whether the Trump campaign coordinated with Russia to influence the 2016 election.  “Sessions should have never recused himself, and if he was going to recuse himself he should have told me before he took the job, and I would have picked somebody else,” Trump said, according to the New York Times."

Was he relying on Sessions to fire Special Counsel Mueller?

In another article, The Post opines:

"President Trump’s extended, rambling new interview with the New York Times provides perhaps the clearest picture yet of his conviction that he is above the law — a conviction, crucially, that appears to be deeply felt on an instinctual level — and of his total lack of any clear conception of the basic obligations to the public he assumed upon taking office.

"There are numerous worrisome moments in this interview, from his incoherence on the health-care debate (“preexisting conditions are a tough deal”) to his odd asides about history (Napoleon “didn’t go to Russia that night because he had extracurricular activities, and they froze to death”). But I wanted to highlight the sum total of the picture that results from three things Trump said:
•Trump flatly declared that if Attorney General Jeff Sessions had told him in advance that he would recuse himself from the Russia probe, “I would have picked somebody else.” Just as bad, Trump also said that Sessions’s recusal was “very unfair to the president,” i.e., unfair to him.
•Trump said clearly that if special counsel Robert S. Mueller III is examining his family’s finances, he would view that as an abuse of his role. While Trump declined to say whether he would try to get Mueller removed, he said he would view any such overstepping as a “violation.”
•In at least two exchanges, Trump was asked directly about the fact that Donald Trump Jr.’s email chain showed that the information offered to his campaign in advance of the now-notorious meeting came from the Russian government. In one of them, he strongly suggested that being open to such information was no biggie. In the other, he dismissed the offer itself as “standard political stuff.”

All the above is indication Trump is unfit for office.  Not playing with a full deck.

Republicans are already beginning to think twice.  CBS News reports:

"It sort of looks paranoid to me," said Rep. Michael McCaul (R-Texas), who chairs the House Homeland Security Committee. "If he fired Bob Mueller, I think you'd see a tremendous backlash response from both Democrats but also House Republicans."  Respect for Mueller runs deep on Capitol Hill, especially among Republicans.  He was President George W. Bush's pick for FBI director, and served throughout the Bush presidency."

Precisely, why Trump should think twice about firing him.

"House Speaker Paul Ryan has had the same message for Mr. Trump since Mueller was tapped as special counsel in May: "I think the best advice would be to let Robert Mueller do his job."

To do otherwise would risk impeachment.

"Republicans were also stunned by the president's slam on their former Senate colleague Jeff Sessions, who is now attorney general.  "Jeff Sessions takes the job, gets into the job, recuses himself. I then have -- which, frankly I think is very unfair to the president," Mr. Trump told The New York Times.  Iowa Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley says Sessions was right to recuse himself.   "The attorney general can't be a wingman for a president. He's got to be very independent," Grassley said."

No question.

"As for those attempts to dig up dirt on Mueller or his staff, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio says good luck.  "I don't think it's going to influence Bob Mueller's work one way or another," Rubio said. "I'm pretty confident just knowing him and knowing the way he conducts himself he doesn't wake up in the morning and read those things and have them impact his ability to do his job. He's going to do his job."

Certainly hope so.  Trump has no clue in a democratic republic the president is not an unaccountable dictator immune to the rule of law.  Nor above the law and Constitution.

The Trump nazi is actively trying to bring down Obamacare.  The AP reports:

"President Donald Trump's administration has ended Affordable Care Act contracts that brought assistance into libraries, businesses and urban neighborhoods in 18 cities, meaning shoppers on the insurance exchanges will have fewer places to turn for help signing up for coverage."

Active sabotage of the failing system:

"Community groups say the move, announced to them by contractors last week, will make it even more difficult to enroll the uninsured and help people already covered re-enroll or shop for a new policy. That's already a concern because of consumer confusion stemming from the political wrangling in Washington and a shorter enrollment period. People will have 45 days to shop for 2018 coverage, starting Nov. 1 and ending Dec. 15. In previous years, they had twice that much time.  Some see it as another attempt to undermine the health law's marketplaces by a president who has suggested he should let "Obamacare" fail. The administration, earlier this year, pulled paid advertising for the sign-up website HealthCare.gov, prompting an inquiry by a federal inspector general into that decision and whether it hurt sign-ups."

Apparently, Trump is unwilling to let it fall of its own weight:

"Now insurers and advocates are concerned that the administration could further destabilize the marketplaces where people shop for coverage by not promoting them or not enforcing the mandate compelling people to get coverage. The administration has already threatened to withhold payments to insurers to help people afford care, which would prompt insurers to sharply increase prices.  "There's a clear pattern of the administration trying to undermine and sabotage the Affordable Care Act," said Elizabeth Hagan, associate director of coverage initiatives for the liberal advocacy group Families USA. "It's not letting the law fail, it's making the law fail."

Sadly, the Trump nazi remains too gutless, achingly duplicitous to level with the public.  Won't enforce the law he's falsely sworn to uphold.

Trump has again refused to address the NAACP.   The AP reports:

"The White House said Wednesday that President Donald Trump has declined an invitation to speak at the NAACP's annual convention next week in Baltimore, leading the nation's oldest civil rights organization to question the president's commitment to his African American constituents.  "During his campaign, President Trump asked us 'what do you have to lose?'" NAACP Board Chairman Leon Russell said. "We get the message loud and clear. The president's decision today underscores the harsh fact: we have lost - we've lost the will of the current administration to listen to issues facing the black community."

Amazing how slanted Fox News can be at the same time it's attempting to report a story factually.  The following is an example.  Fox News reports:

"In a seeming act of defiance toward the Trump administration, a federal judge in San Francisco has refused to reinstate the president’s sanctuary cities order.   Attorney General Jeff Sessions wrote a memo in May saying the executive order should be applied narrowly to a small number of grants and to very specific violations of immigration law.  The memo said cities that "willfully refuse to comply" with federal law could lose grants from the Justice and Homeland Security departments, but not other federal funding.  The Justice Department said the memo negated the need for Orrick's injunction."

Sadly, it didn't.  Here's why:

"Orrick said he found Sessions' memo unconvincing, asserting it would allow the attorney general to reverse his stand at any moment.  The judge's injunction stops enforcement of the executive order across the country, and allows the lawsuits to go forward.  And Orrick's refusal to reverse it strikes another blow to Trump's attempt to punish cities that give safe haven to those in the country illegally."

The court calls out the Sessions' nazi for his duplicity and Fox complains?

Continuing problems in Trump 'paradise.'  A shake up.  The Washington Post reports:

"White House press secretary Sean Spicer resigned Friday, following the appointment of wealthy financier Anthony Scaramucci as White House communications director, according to a White House official.  Spicer’s abrupt and angry departure — which caught even senior West Wing staffers by surprise — reflects the latest upheaval in a White House that has been consumed by chaos and staff infighting since almost the day President Trump took office."

Trump certainly has remained unable to rein in staff:

"Scaramucci has previously had a tense and fraught relationship with both Spicer and White House chief of staff Reince Priebus, who both vehemently objected to Trump’s decision to install Scaramucci in the top communications job. Scaramucci has coined a particularly crude nickname for Priebus, and Priebus previously blocked the financier from several other top White House roles."

'Can't we all just get along?'  Joke aside, does Trump rationally believe this latest shake up will do anything other than exacerbate systemic dysfunction?

"Scaramucci had been in talks with the president and senior staff all week. But the shake-up comes amid intensifying tumult at the White House as Trump moves to respond to the widening special counsel probe into his campaign’s possible collusion with the Russian government and searches for ways to revive the administration’s stalled legislative agenda."

Interestingly, Trump's support of the Second Amendment may not be what he claims.  Appointed Scaramucci despite the fact his new hire strongly supports gun control.

"Trump officially offered the position to Scaramucci, who he has become closer to in recent weeks, at a meeting with senior staff in the Oval Office on Friday morning. And Thursday, Trump, Vice President Pence, Scaramucci and Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, also huddled privately in the Oval Office to discuss Scaramucci’s new role."

Amazing, isn't it?  Think other rats will jump ship?

Here is where it gets interesting:

"At the same time, Trump’s legal team is also in flux. Trump’s longtime personal attorney, Marc Kasowitz, will step back from his central role in the president’s outside legal team with John M. Dowd, a seasoned Washington attorney with a focus on white-collar crime, now taking the lead in managing the president’s defense. Mark Corallo, a longtime GOP operative who had served as a spokesman for Trump’s legal team, resigned Thursday."

Appear to be circling the wagons, don't they?

"The president has become agitated by the possibility that special counsel Robert Mueller might begin looking into Trump and his family’s personal finances. In an interview this week with the New York Times, the president issued a warning to Mueller that such a move would be a “violation.”

'Violation' of what?  His sovereignty as nazi fuhrer?

"Trump’s legal team has begun working to undermine the special counsel probe, including investigating ways to highlight conflicts of interest on Mueller’s, The Washington Post reported on Thursday. The president has also inquired about his pardon authority."

This certainly abrogates supposed independence between the 'Justice' Department and the Oval Office.  What's next?  The firing of Special Counsel?

"After the story was published, one of Trump’s attorneys, Dowd, said it was “not true” and “nonsense.”  One Trump adviser said the president has simply expressed a curiosity in understanding the reach of his pardoning authority, as well as the limits of Mueller’s investigation.  “This is not in the context of, ‘I can’t wait to pardon myself,’” a close adviser said."

It's not?

“The possibility that the President is considering pardons at this early stage in these ongoing investigations is extremely disturbing,” Sen. Mark R. Warner (D-Va.) said in a statement. “Pardoning any individuals who may have been involved would be crossing a fundamental line.”

You think?

In follow up, Sarah Huckabee Sanders is Trump's new press secretary.

House Republicans are certainly anti-labor.  The Washington Post reports:

"House Republicans greeted current and future federal employees with two controversial body blows in recent days — one amounts to a pay cut and the other would allow new feds to be fired for “no cause at all.”  The House Budget Committee approved a spending plan that would save the government $163.5 billion over 10 years by taking that amount from federal employees. They would pay that in the form of “greater contributions to their own defined benefit retirement plans,” according to the panel’s budget document."

Isn't it interesting Congress fails to impose the same standards on top government officials as well as the House and Senate?

"Republicans call their plan “Building a Better America.”  But the Americans now working to build a better country through their federal jobs would be called on to sacrifice again, as they have repeatedly over the years."

The peasants are no more than human chattel:

“Since 2010, these employees have already lost $182 billion in pay and benefits,” Tony Reardon, president of the National Treasury Employees Union, said in a letter to the committee. Those losses occurred through measures including a partial three-year pay freeze and previous retirement hits under the Obama administration."

Both major political parties couldn't care less.  As long as they get theirs, no problem.

"Future federal employees could lose their jobs much more easily under legislation introduced by Rep. Todd Rokita (R-Ind.). He wants all new feds to be considered at-will employees, meaning they “may be removed/suspended without notice or right to appeal for good cause, bad cause, or no cause at all,” according to a summary of the legislation."

Who would want to work for government if this passes?

"This represents no understanding that civil service protections are designed to protect not just staffers, but also the public from a government bureaucracy riven with political favoritism, as was the case under the spoils system. Even members of Congress eager to fire feds faster must know that this drastic proposal runs afoul of a basic and long-standing principle that says government staffers should be protected from willy-nilly punishment by political operatives."

Wouldn't want to confuse anyone with the truth, would we?

The constitutional right to abortion is under severe attack all across our formerly great country.  The worst at the moment appears to be in Kentucky.  ABC News reports:

"Political pressure has intensified since the Kentucky GOP took control of state government and moved quickly to pass new restrictions on abortions. And Republican Gov. Matt Bevin makes no apologies for waging a licensing fight against a Louisville clinic that is the last remaining facility performing abortions in the state."

Direct determined concerted abrogation of a constitutional right.

"Another battle-tested participant joins the fight this weekend. Operation Save America, a Christian fundamentalist group, plans to mobilize hundreds of activists to protest against EMW Women's Surgical Center.  The group's leaders state their purpose unequivocally: to rid Kentucky of its last abortion clinic. Some of the group's followers were arrested during a protest outside EMW in the spring. The group has said it won't use those same tactics in the coming days, but a federal judge on Friday ordered the creation of a "buffer zone" to keep protesters out of an area in front of the clinic. The pre-emptive move was requested by federal prosecutors to prevent protesters from blocking access to the surgical center."

Desperate to force their outrageously perverse ideological and religious views on all.

"We have never been under siege like this," Dr. Ernest Marshall, a co-founder of the clinic open since the early 1980s, recently told The Associated Press. "We have never had any question as to whether we would exist."

No longer in Nazi Kentucky.

"As a volunteer whisked another woman past a handful of protesters, a demonstrator clutching a rosary told the patient's male companion: "Men don't kill their babies. Man up." The man turned and glared but said nothing."

Should have told the nazi bastard to go f--k himself.

"The demonstrator, Chuck Jones, defended his harsh words.  "This is the last chance we'll get to talk to them before they go in," the retired sheet-metal worker from Indiana said."

Who the hell are you to do so?  None of your goddamned business.  Not your uterus.

"I just wanted him to think about what he's doing. If anybody believes in God, they can't be for abortion, in my opinion."

That's the problem.  That's all it is.  An opinion.  Like an asshole, everyone has one.  At least the asshole, however, serves a useful bodily function.

"The 66-year-old Marshall — the father of three grown children and grandfather of eight — said he attends church every Sunday and is a former Sunday school teacher. He said abortion protesters don't have a "monopoly on morals." He condemned their tactics as "very harassing, very judgmental," taking a toll on patients and staff.  "Some of the things I see out in front of our clinic, to me, by the pro-life people, don't represent good Christianity," Marshall said. "I just don't think Jesus would harass people or name-call people or call doctors murderers."

Wouldn't want to confuse the nazi element with the truth, would you, Doctor?

"The number of protesters is expected to surge this weekend when Texas-based Operation Save America converges on Louisville for a weeklong vigil, with the long-term goal of making Kentucky a national model in its push to end abortion. The group urges state officials to ignore the Supreme Court's Roe v. Wade decision in 1973 that legalized abortion."

Raw nazism.

"The Supreme Court has found that access to an abortion must be guaranteed, but it remains to be seen whether eliminating every clinic in a single state would pass that test.  "I can't imagine being a female and being ... forced to have a baby that I didn't want," Marshall said."

A nazi can't see that far.  Too myopic.

Had not intended to cover Sen. McCain's illness at this time.  Circumstances have changed.  The reason will become clear after a little background first.  ABC News reports:

"Sen. John McCain's treatment for brain cancer could keep him out of Washington for weeks, perhaps months, and yet it's unlikely anyone will challenge his extended leave.  Congress has a long tradition in which no one questions ailing lawmakers taking time to recover. For starters, it's just poor form. And, frankly, it's up to the stricken member of Congress and their doctors to decide when — or even if — they return to work. Some have recuperated away from the Capitol for a year or more.  It's an unwritten courtesy that often doesn't extend to the real working world where employees are forced to file for medical disability or take unpaid leave."

A senator is an elected official, -- unlike in the corporate community where anything goes.

"Julie Tarallo, McCain's spokeswoman, said Friday that "further consultations with Sen. McCain's Mayo Clinic care team will indicate when he will return to the United States Senate."  McCain had taken to Twitter on Thursday promising a quick return.  "Unfortunately for my sparring partners in Congress, I'll be back soon, so stand-by!" said the six-term Arizona Republican and 2008 GOP presidential nominee."

Sadly, an opponent of the Senator doesn't agree.  Practically, has him already dead and gone.  -- The reason why this issue is addressed at this time in this publication.

CBS News reports:

"An Arizona Republican who tried to oust Sen. John McCain last year suggested Friday that he resign because he has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer.  Kelli Ward, who is a doctor, said in a statement that the 80-year-old McCain's diagnosis is grim and that his cancer, glioblastoma, "is both devastating and debilitating."  "As a doctor, I've counseled patients in similar situations and these end-of-life choices are never easy. I usually advise terminal patients to reduce stress, relax and spend time laughing with loved ones," Ward wrote."

Self-serving, condescending, patronizing bullshit since McCain is far from dead.  Particularly appalling?

"The Senate has complicated and difficult problems to deal with and Arizona deserves to be represented by someone who can focus on those challenges," she added."

Think so?  Believe McCain has one foot in the coffin already?  Give me a break.

"Ward, a former state senator, is running this year against Arizona Sen. Jeff Flake, also a Republican. Earlier this week she said she met with White House officials in June about the campaign, a sit-down that pointed to uneasy ties between President Trump and Flake.  In a statement, Flake called McCain a hero and said he expected to see the state's senior senator return to the Senate soon.  "I'm dumbstruck by Kelli Ward's comments," Flake said."

Readers will recall Flake was covered in the last edition for standing tall defending his Democratic opponent against Islamophobia.  Like McCain, another stand up Republican.

"In her statement, Ward said that she hopes McCain is comfortable as he battles "this terrible disease," and added that she is praying for him and his family."

Condescending, patronizing, achingly hollow bullshit.

"She said that if the senator can no longer perform his duties, "he owes it to the people of Arizona to step aside."

Think he wouldn't?  Give me a break.  This is a man who survived nearly six years of torture and abuse in the 'Hanoi Hilton' after his fighter jet was shot down over North Vietnam fifty years ago.

"When she challenged McCain in a primary in 2016, Ward suggested McCain could die this term. Saying that older people decline "physiologically," she implied that McCain will be increasingly unable to control his anger and emotions in office.  "There are things that happen physiologically with the body and the mind. One of them is control over your anger and he's already known as an angry man," Ward said. "It becomes more and more difficult to control those kinds of outbursts. And we have to have someone with a steady hand, someone with the ability to think on their feet. Someone who can problem-solve."

Makes Anne Coulter appear to be Mother Theresa, doesn't it?  Imagine being treated by a physician with the mindset of Dr. Ward?

The Senator has returned to Washington.  Voted to proceed with debate on Trumpcare.

Things continue to deteriorate in our country.  Takes former intelligence officials to tell it like it is.  NPR reports:

"Leaving federal government service after decades can be, well, liberating."

Clearly.  LOL.

"Just ask James Clapper, the former director of national intelligence, and John Brennan, the former leader of the Central Intelligence Agency. They unloaded on President Trump and the "baffling" way he has embraced Russia while criticizing his own intelligence apparatus during a session at the Aspen Security Forum on Friday in Colorado."

Let it rip.  LOL.

"Asked whether the president is taking the Russia threat seriously, Clapper replied: "Well, it's hard to tell. Sometimes I think he's about making Russia great again."

You think?  Certainly to the point.

"That remark, playing off Trump's "Make America Great Again" campaign slogan, drew laughter and gasps from an audience of current and former government officials and the business executives who work with them. But underlying the humor was a tone of deep concern about the morale of people responsible for protecting the nation's security — and dismay about where the country may be headed."

Refreshingly, called the unvarnished truth.

"In some respects, we're a nation in crisis right now," Brennan said."

You think?

"Then, for the next hour, they counted the ways."

Did they ever.  About time:

"The veteran spies expressed surprise that Trump campaign officials including then-chairman Paul Manafort, son Donald Trump Jr. and son-in-law Jared Kushner would take a meeting in New York last year with a Russian lawyer who promised "dirt" on Hillary Clinton.  "They should have known better," Brennan said. "If they didn't, they shouldn't have been in those positions. ... Seems as if some folks swallowed the bait."

They knew better.  Didn't care.  Aryan arrogantly, believe they're above the law and Constitution.  That anything goes.  Certainly does in the Trump regime.

"Both men withheld judgment on why Kushner had repeatedly revised a government form seeking information about his foreign contacts. But, Clapper said, if that were done by an ordinary federal employee, he would at minimum suspend the person's security clearance, "take a pause" and investigate the reasons the material had been omitted."

How did Kushner attain security clearance?  Where was the vetting?  Nepotism reign supreme?

"Clapper and Brennan said they were particularly distressed by a series of Trump tweets attacking the U.S. intelligence community, including one where the president likened them to Nazis. "Well, I was kind of hopeful that after he got rid of the two chief Nazis — John and myself — things would improve," Clapper said.  They didn't. In recent weeks, the president has continued to cast doubt on a unanimous U.S. intelligence assessment that Russia interfered in the presidential election and has called the special counsel investigation "a witch hunt."  Compare that with the warm greeting the president offered Russian President Vladimir Putin, "a great honor to meet you," at their recent meeting."

Galling, isn't it?  Putin interfered in the 2016 election and yet the Trump nazi considers it an honor to meet the son of a bitch responsible?  Achingly, appalling.  The mark of a nazi dictator who was more than willing to accept these efforts of the Russian to help him win the election.  What president, or candidate for that office, has done anything similar?

"Brennan said that was "a very, very bad negotiating tactic" for a man whose name appears on the front of a book called The Art of the Deal.  "This is Mr. Putin, who assaulted one of the foundational pillars of our democracy — our election system — invaded Ukraine, annexed Crimea, that has suppressed or repressed political opponents in Russia and caused the deaths of many of them," Brennan said."

What is surprising is the fact the Republican Party, well-known for its intractable opposition to communism, has given Trump and Putin a free pass to date.

"Moderator Wolf Blitzer of CNN pointed out that prominent House Democrats such as Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi have been wondering, "What do the Russians have on Trump?"  Clapper replied, "Well, hopefully special counsel [Robert] Mueller will get to the bottom of that."  "If there's nothing to hide," Brennan said, "they should cooperate fully in an accelerated fashion."

They're not.  In fact, the Trump nazi is assembling a legal team to fight the investigation.  The question to be asked is where is a full accounting of whom is financing this team?

"They agreed Mueller, a former FBI director who worked under presidents from both political parties, was "absolutely" the right man for the job. And, Brennan said, if the president carries out a threat to fire Mueller, members of Congress need to stand up and take action."

Be interesting to see if and/or when this point is reached Republicans indeed stand tall as they did during the Nixon fiasco over four decades ago.

The Washington Post reports:

"President Trump asserted Saturday morning that he has “complete power to pardon” in an apparent allusion to the ongoing probe into his campaign's contacts with Russian officials. And he lashed out at a new Washington Post report of previously undisclosed alleged contacts, calling the disclosures “illegal leaks” as he continues to try to shift the public focus to what he has said is a partisan attempt to undermine his presidency."

Certainly seems the Trump nazi is growing increasingly desperate.  Has only himself to blame.  Has repeatedly figuratively shot himself in the ass.  Delusionally believes only Democrats are determinedly shining light on his repeated foibles.  His actions speak for themselves.  Cannot be ignored.  Not even by his Republican compadres indefinitely.  Some are already speaking out.  Certainly, wish to be returned to office.  Only a matter of time before they all jump ship.

"The president's defense of his pardon powers came days after The Post reported that he and his legal team have discussed his power to pardon aides, family members and, possibly, even himself."

The mark of a fascist dictator.

"While all agree the U. S. President has the complete power to pardon, why think of that when only crime so far is LEAKS against us.FAKE NEWS

    — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 22, 2017"

Think the nazi isn't delusional?  Out to lunch?  Unfit for office?

The following is what Trump is talking about.  In an earlier article, The Post reports:

"Russia’s ambassador to Washington told his superiors in Moscow that he discussed campaign-related matters, including policy issues important to Moscow, with Jeff Sessions during the 2016 presidential race, contrary to public assertions by the embattled attorney general, according to current and former U.S. officials."

Sessions lied.  Committed perjury:

"Ambassador Sergey Kislyak’s accounts of two conversations with Sessions — then a top foreign policy adviser to Republican candidate Donald Trump — were intercepted by U.S. spy agencies, which monitor the communications of senior Russian officials both in the United States and in Russia. Sessions initially failed to disclose his contacts with Kislyak and then said that the meetings were not about the Trump campaign."

Lied.  Deceived.  During hearings, claimed not to remember.

"One U.S. official said that Sessions — who testified that he has no recollection of an April encounter — has provided “misleading” statements that are “contradicted by other evidence.” A former official said that the intelligence indicates that Sessions and Kislyak had “substantive” discussions on matters including Trump’s positions on Russia-related issues and prospects for U.S.-Russia relations in a Trump administration."

Lied.  Deceived.  Deliberately misled.

"Sessions has said repeatedly that he never discussed campaign-related issues with Russian officials and that it was only in his capacity as a U.S. senator that he met with Kislyak."

Yet remains Attorney General.  Worse?  Unprosecuted.

Regarding the Trump tweet storm, CBS News reports:

"The president took aim at some familiar targets: the "Amazon Washington Post," leaks, Hillary Clinton, "Special Council" Robert Mueller and others.  But one missive in particular left observers scratching their heads. In a cryptic tweet, Mr. Trump accused "the Failing New York Times" of foiling an attempt to kill Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the leader of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

"The Failing New York Times foiled U.S. attempt to kill the single most wanted terrorist,Al-Baghdadi.Their sick agenda over National Security
    — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 22, 2017

"While Mr. Trump did not provide more detail about the accusation, the tweet came about 20 minutes after a segment about leaks aired on Fox News' "Fox and Friends." At one point, the chyron read "NYT FOILS U.S. ATTEMPT TO TAKE OUT AL-BAGHDADI."

Goddamned pitiful.  Think this man fit to be president?

Think the Trump nazi isn't waging war on the family?  ABC News reports:

"Nury Chavarria, an undocumented mother of four who has lived in the United States for 24 years, was set to be deported to Guatemala on Thursday night. Instead, Chavarria refused to leave her children, taking sanctuary in a Connecticut church."

Think emboldened ICE goons won't raid the church?  ... A first time for everything.

"Chavarria left Guatemala and came to the United States without legal papers in 1993 when she was 19, ABC affiliate WTNH reported.  She ultimately settled in Norwalk, Connecticut, where she got a job as a housekeeper and raised a family. Chavarria, now 43, has four children who are all U.S. citizens, two of whom are in college. She has no criminal history and has paid taxes since she received a work permit, according to her immigration attorneys."

Doesn't matter in a fascist police-state soon to be the Trump nazi's Fourth Reich.

"Chavarria told WTNH that she has been honest about her immigration status for years and regularly and voluntarily checked in with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. But this year, ICE fitted her with a GPS ankle monitor to track her movements ahead of her deportation, she said.  Chavarria was supposed to board the plane that would take her out of the country at 5 p.m. on Thursday. She sought sanctuary in the Iglesia De Dios Pentecostal Church in New Haven, according to Sidd Sinha, one of the lawyers who represented Chavarria in her battle against the deportation order."

Who said the GOP is the party of the family?

The Trump nazi has again disgraced himself.  This time in front of the Boy Scouts.  CBS/AP reports:

"No knot-tying demonstrations. No wood-carving advice. President Trump went straight to starting a fire in a speech at a national Boy Scout gathering.  Parents, former Scouts and others were furious after Mr. Trump railed against his enemies, promoted his political agenda and underlined his insistence on loyalty before an audience of tens of thousands of school-age Scouts in West Virginia on Monday night.

"Is nothing safe? @realDonaldTrump turns @boyscouts event into Nazi Youth rally. Boy Scouts must repudiate such a disgraceful display.
— Jon (((Wolfsthal))) (@JBWolfsthal) July 25, 2017"

Chillingly, history repeating itself.  The Fourth Reich.

Imagine having so much you 'inadvertently' fail to disclose millions on a financial disclosure form?  The AP reports:

"President Trump's son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner initially "inadvertently omitted" more than 70 assets worth at least $10.6 million from his personal financial disclosure reports, according to revised paperwork released Friday."

"Inadvertently?' Honest mistake?

"The previously unreported assets were added to updated financial disclosure reports certified by the U.S. Office of Government Ethics on Thursday as part of the "ordinary review process," the forms said.  Among the new disclosures, Kushner reported owning art worth more than $5 million. The new forms also reflect that Kushner sold his interest in an aging shopping mall in Eatontown, New Jersey, and no longer has a stake in a company that had held an interest in property in Toledo, Ohio.  Kushner's wife, Ivanka Trump, also filed new federal disclosures. She reported assets of at least $66 million and earned at least $13.5 million in income last year from her various business ventures."

Believe this couple and Daddy Trump to be populists?  Think so?

"A lawyer advising Kushner said that federal officials are allowed to amend their initial financial disclosures before they are certified, and stressed that Kushner had complex finances.  "Jared and Ivanka have followed each of the required steps in their transition from private citizens to federal officials. The Office of Government Ethics has certified Jared's financial disclosure, reflecting its determination that his approach complies with federal ethics laws," said Kushner attorney Jamie Gorelick. "Ivanka's financial disclosure form is still in the pre-certification stage, as she began the process later."

Populists?  Think so?

The Trump nazi continues to live in his own reality.  CNN reports:

"President Donald Trump on Monday described Attorney General Jeff Sessions as "beleaguered" as he tweeted about his frustration with the Russia probe.  "After 1 year of investigation with Zero evidence being found, Chuck Schumer just stated that "Democrats should blame ourselves, not Russia," the President tweeted, later adding, "So why aren't the Committees and investigators, and of course our beleaguered A.G., looking into Crooked Hillarys crimes & Russia relations?"

Say what?  Egregious non-sequitur.

"Trump did not explain why Sessions, a longtime and loyal supporter of his 2016 campaign, is "beleaguered." But the President's own, recent comments have raised pressure on his attorney general, whom he publicly criticized last week for recusing himself from the Russia investigation due to undisclosed contacts he had with Russian officials during the campaign."

Hard to believe the Sessions nazi can remain in the job.  Pressure from continued disclosures have to be taking their toll.  Perjury may eventually lead to his downfall.

"Trump's comments immediately raised speculation that Sessions could resign, though a source familiar with the attorney general's thinking said last week that Sessions has no intention of stepping down in the wake of Trump's comments.  But the President's remarks caused deep alarm within the West Wing, leading some to worry that their loyalty to Trump might not be reciprocated from the man in the Oval Office.  "It's chilling," one White House official told CNN last week, referring to Trump's comments to the Times."

Each man for himself.  Be interesting to see when or if the rats, en masse, jump ship.

Think Republicans favor tax breaks for all?  The AP reports:

"Republicans aren't usually big on raising taxes, but they're really eager to eliminate the federal deduction for state and local taxes."

Got a clue?  Wake up:

"Why? A look at the states that benefit the most from the tax break helps explain it — they are all Democratic strongholds. New York, Connecticut, New Jersey and California top the list of states where taxpayers get the biggest deductions. Not a single Republican-leaning state ranks in the top 10.  "Although Republicans usually recoil at any type of tax increase, cutting this tax break would almost be fun for them," said Martin Sullivan, chief economist for Tax Analysts. "It provides massively disproportionate deductions to high-tax states controlled by Democrats."

Partisanship trumps principle.  Who'd 'a 'thunk' it?

"Proposals by House Republican leaders and President Donald Trump would repeal the tax break as part of their packages to overhaul the American tax code. But they are getting a lot of pushback from Republican lawmakers in Democratic-controlled states.  The standoff illustrates how hard it is for Congress to eliminate any popular tax break, even one that primarily benefits the ruling party's political opponents."

Amazing, isn't it?

"Nationally, the average deduction is about $11,800, but it is much bigger in many blue states. New York is tops with an average deduction of more than $21,000. Connecticut is next at $18,900, followed by New Jersey at $17,200 and California at $17,100.  These are states with high property values, high costs of living, high incomes and relatively high state and local taxes compared to other states. They are also states President Donald Trump lost in last year's election. Though the president is from New York, he lost the state to Democrat Hillary Clinton by 22 percentage points."

More trouble for Republicans and Trumpcare 2.  CBS News reports:

"The Senate parliamentarian has determined that certain provisions of the Senate Republicans' original plan to repeal and replace Obamacare violate the "Byrd Rule," meaning that they don't qualify for passage under reconciliation's 51-vote majority. Instead, they would be subject to a 60-vote point of order during a floor vote."

Won't pass even if all Republicans vote in favor.

The judiciary has again rubber stamped the Trump nazi, took a hard dump on the Constitution. The Washington  Post reports:

"A federal judge on Monday allowed President Trump’s voting commission to go forward with seeking voter data from 50 states and the District, ruling that the White House advisory panel is exempt from federal privacy review requirements whatever additional risk it might pose to Americans’ information."

Bought and paid for Republican partisan on the bench.  No justice.

"The ruling averted a public setback for a president who has claimed that widespread fraud cost him the popular vote in November. The commission’s request for the voting information of more than 150 million registered voters remains controversial, with many state leaders from both parties voicing objections about its potential to reveal personal information, suppress voter participation and encroach on states’ oversight of voting laws."

Don't comply.  Resist.  Any secretary of state who capitulates should not be returned to office, given the boot.

"The panel’s June 28 letter to the states requested that they turn over “publicly-available voter roll data,” including name, address, date of birth, party registration, partial Social Security numbers and voting, military, felony and overseas history, among other data."

F--k the Trump nazi and his henchmen.

"In a statement Monday, Kobach called the ruling “a major victory for government accountability, transparency and the public’s right to know about the integrity of our elections processes,” adding, “We look forward to continuing to work with state election leaders to gather information and identify opportunities to improve election integrity.”

This nazi has his head so far up his ass his eyeballs are turning inside out.  His state won't comply, has laws against it.  There are several more lawsuits pending, issue far from settled.

Smoking remains a killer.  ABC News reports:

"Republican Gov. Chris Christie signed a law Friday making New Jersey the third state to raise its smoking age to 21.  Christie cited the strain on the health care system caused by tobacco-related illnesses. He also noted his mother died from the effects of smoking."

So did the mother of this writer.  So did other family members and friends.  Reportedly, there is no more addictive substance than nicotine.  Not even opioids.

"By raising the minimum age to purchase tobacco products to 21, we are giving young people more time to develop a maturity and better understanding of how dangerous smoking can be and that it is better to not start smoking in the first place," Christie wrote."

Sadly, won't deter this behavior.  Kids will still engage in it.  Will find a way.  As they do with alcohol and other drugs.  This law will likely only raise the number of young people with a criminal record.

"Previously, the age was 19. The restriction applies to tobacco products and electronic smoking devices. Christie vetoed a similar measure last year."

Amazing change of heart, isn't it?

The Senate has voted to begin debate on Trumpcare.  NPR reports:

"The Senate voted Tuesday to begin debating a replacement for the Affordable Care Act. It remains uncertain as to what that replacement might look like. No formal legislation has been drafted. But senators moved to take the procedural first step, known as a "motion to proceed." The vote was 51 to 50, with Vice President Mike Pence casting the tie breaking vote.  Debate will now begin, most likely on a measure to fully repeal the law, also known as Obamacare.  With all Democrats opposing the measure, Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell could afford only to lose two votes from his 52 vote majority and two GOP Senators did vote no, Maine's Susan Collins, and Alaska's Lisa Murkowski.  There was more drama. The vote marked the return of Sen. John McCain, the Arizona Republican whose news that he has a form of brain cancer stunned his colleagues. He was greeted with a standing ovation on the Senate floor, and was embraced by Senators from both sides of the aisle. McCain then voted yes on the motion."

CBS News reports:

"A proposal that would partially repeal Obamacare fell short of the 51 votes needed to pass it Wednesday afternoon, dealing yet another blow to the GOP effort to roll back the 2010 health care law.  The Senate rejected the plan in a 45-55 vote. All Democrats voted against it, along with seven Republicans."

The Trump nazi launched a vicious attack on the LGBTQ community.  Fox News reports:

"President Trump touched off a firestorm Wednesday after tweeting that he wants to ban transgender people from serving in the U.S. military in any capacity -- citing advice from his "generals" and medical costs.  In a series of tweets, he wrote:

"After consultation with my Generals and military experts, please be advised that the United States Government will not accept or allow...Transgender individuals to serve in any capacity in the U.S. Military. Our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming..victory and cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail. Thank you."

By fiat.  Time for lawsuits to be filed.  En masse.

“This is worse than don’t ask don’t tell, this is don’t serve, don’t serve,” The National Center for Transgender Equality said in a written statement. “This is an appalling attack on our service members; it is about bigotry rather than military readiness, reason or science. It is indefensible and cannot stand.”

This is no more than yet another example of the Nazi Right in our formerly great country desperately imposing its outrageously perverse ideological and religious views on all.  A direct determined deliberate attack by the Trump nazi on the First Amendment Establishment Clause, church-state separation, that is, freedom from religion:

"The Family Research Council praised Trump’s action.  “I applaud President Trump for keeping his promise to return to military priorities – and not continue the social experimentation of the Obama era that has crippled our nation’s military,” FRC President Tony Perkins said in a statement. “The military can now focus its efforts on preparing to fight and win wars rather than being used to advance the Obama social agenda.”

Goddamned bullshit perpetrated by a religious nazi desperate to force his outrageously perverse religious views on all.  Mr. Perkins, you have again disgraced yourself.

"But Trump himself tweeted during the campaign season that he would "fight" for the LGBTQ community while his opponent "Hillary (Clinton) brings in more people that will threaten your freedoms and beliefs."

Guess what?  The deceptive son of a bitch lied.  You bought his bullshit:

"Thank you to the LGBT community! I will fight for you while Hillary brings in more people that will threaten your freedoms and beliefs.
    — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 14, 2016"

No question, Mr. Trump is a liar.

"The president’s tweets came only a few weeks after Defense Secretary James Mattis said he would give military chiefs another six months to conduct a review to determine if allowing transgender individuals to enlist in the armed services will affect the “readiness or lethality” of the force. The deadline for that review was Dec. 1, 2017.

"During his confirmation hearing in January, Mattis was asked whether he believed that allowing LGBT Americans to serve in the military or women in combat would undermine the military’s lethality."

“Frankly, senator, I’ve never cared much about two consenting adults and who they go to bed with,” Mattis testified."

Thousands and thousands already serve with distinction.

"Transgender expert Abbie Goldberg, professor of psychology at Clark University, told Fox News “no one wins under Trump’s plan.”  “Some people will not serve, which is a loss to the military and the country,” Goldberg said. “Others will serve, but not openly, and thus they will be at risk for discharge or verbal, physical and sexual abuse.”  The Pentagon has refused to release any data on the number of transgender troops currently serving. A RAND study found that there are between 2,500 and 7,000 transgender service members in the active-duty military, and another 1,500 to 4,000 in the reserves."

The nazi in the Oval Office has again disgraced himself and the country.  Republican fascists here in Nazi Llano County are reminded the above is from Fox News.  Imagine that.  Couldn't be, could it?  Here's some more:

“House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., called Trump’s decision a “cruel and arbitrary decision designed to humiliate transgender Americans.”  "On this very day in 1948, President Harry Truman signed the executive order desegregating the U.S. military. Sixty-nine years later, President Trump has chosen this day to unleash a vile and hateful agenda that will blindside thousands of patriotic Americans already serving with honor and bravery,” she said."

Even more:

"Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., slammed the sudden announcement and said anyone who is fit to serve in the military should be allowed to do so.   “The president’s tweet this morning regarding transgender Americans in the military is yet another example of why major policy announcements should not be made via Twitter,” McCain, the chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, said."

Clearly, the Trump nazi and his henchmen are bigots.

NPR reports:

"Transgender people already serve in the military. It's not immediately clear how Trump intends to implement the ban, but the Pentagon announced Wednesday that it will defer enlistments by transgender applicants."

Incredibly, shortsighted.

"Secretary [James] Mattis today approved a recommendation by the services to defer accessing transgender applicants into the military until Jan. 1, 2018," Chief Pentagon spokesperson Dana White said in a statement. "The services will review their accession plans and provide input on the impact to the readiness and lethality of our forces."

A snappy salute to the nazi commander-in-chief?

"Republican Sen. John McCain, Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, said in a statement that the president's tweets are "yet another example of why major policy announcements should not be made via Twitter."

Indeed.  Again, yet another example of Trump's unfitness for office.

"The Department of Defense has already decided to allow currently-serving transgender individuals to stay in the military, and many are serving honorably today," McCain said. "Any American who meets current medical and readiness standards should be allowed to continue serving. There is no reason to force service members who are able to fight, train, and deploy to leave the military—regardless of their gender identity."

Goddamned right.

"The Human Rights Campaign immediately tweeted its disapproval of Trump's announcement. "Threatening 15K currently serving troops who put their lives at risk is unpatriotic and dangerous," the LGBTQ rights organization said."

The mark of a nazi dictator.

"The American Civil Liberties Union put out a call to transgender service members affected by the announcement. "This is an outrageous and desperate action," the civil liberties group said in a statement. "This has been studied extensively, and the consensus is clear: There are no cost or military readiness drawbacks associated with allowing trans people to fight for their country. The president is trying to score cheap political points on the backs of military personnel who have put their lives on the line for their country."

Indeed.  Appalling.  Bigotry.  Raw nazism.  In a goddamned fascist police-state, soon to be the Trump nazi's Fourth ReichWake up.

"Congressman Ted Lieu, a Democrat from California, released a statement critical of the announcement. "The President's exclusion of Americans who happen to be transgender from serving in the military is not based on facts, it is based on naked bigotry. I know because I served on active duty. The military doesn't care what your sexual orientation or identity is, or who you love. It cares about whether you can shoot straight and complete the mission. The President's discriminatory decision harms our military readiness for our volunteer-based military."

We're losing our formerly great country to the Nazi Right.  Wake up.

Border Patrol goons continue to break the law.  NPR reports:

"Human rights groups have complained for months that border agents are wrongfully turning away people seeking asylum in the U.S..  Many are fleeing gang violence and persecution in Mexico and Central America.  Border officials say they are following policy. But activists say the problem has gotten worse under President Trump. They recently sued, alleging violations of U.S. and international law."

Officers do as they please, ignore the law.

"Activists say U.S. border agents are telling asylum seekers that they'll need a visa before they can apply. Or that they'll be separated from their children. Or, more recently, that Donald Trump has eliminated asylum.  "These things are simply untrue," says Melissa Crow, legal director at the D.C.-based American Immigration Council. Her group and others have filed a class-action lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security, challenging those alleged practices.   "All of these tactics serve to deny bona fide asylum seekers the opportunity to pursue their claims," she says."

These jackbooted bastards are breaking the law, granted carte blanche by the Trump nazi.  Asylum seekers are entitled by statute to an interview to determine veracity of their claims.  Denied this right by Trump and his henchmen.

Former Texas Gov. Rick "The Prick" Perry is an idiot.  The Washington Times reports:

"Energy Secretary Rick Perry recently spent a 22-minute phone call speaking with a Russian prankster posing as Ukranian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman.  Mr. Perry, convinced he was speaking to Ukraine’s prime minister, spoke July 19 about a range of topics including sanctions against Russia, coal exports, natural gas development, and the U.S. withdrawal from the Paris climate accord. On the other end, however, were prank callers Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexei Stolyarov, reportedly described as the “Jerky Boys of Russia.”

Need a good laugh?  Get this:

"In the phone call, the pranksters reportedly asked Mr. Perry about a new biofuel made from home-brewed alcohol and pig manure created by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko. Mr. Perry said he’d like to get more information about the “scientific development,” Russian news outlet Pravda reported."

Republicans are protecting the Trump nazi, stonewalling the Trump Russian investigation.  NPR reports:

"The House Financial Services Committee on Tuesday considered looking into President Trump's financial ties, particularly those linking him to a bank that had been involved with laundering Russian money.  But Republican members voted "nyet" on a straight party-line vote of 34-26.  They defeated a Democrat-sponsored request to order Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin to "provide certain documents ... relating to President Trump's financial connections to Russia, certain illegal financial schemes, and related information."

Big Brother is here.  Alive and well.  NPR reports:

"A Wisconsin company is offering to implant tiny radio-frequency chips in its employees – and it says they are lining up for the technology."

Indeed, a sucker is born every day.

"The idea is a controversial one, confronting issues at the intersection of ethics and technology by essentially turning bodies into bar codes. Three Square Market, also called 32M, says it is the first U.S. company to provide the technology to its employees."

Aren't they 'lucky?'  Human chattel owned by their corporate masters.
'
"The company manufactures self-service "micro markets" for office break rooms. It said in a press release that obtaining a chip is optional, but expects that about 50 employees will take part."

Won't be optional for long.  Called control.  Ownership.  Human chattel.

"Employees who have the rice-grain-sized RFID chip implanted between their thumb and forefinger can then use it "to make purchases in their break room micro market, open doors, login to computers, use the copy machine," 32M said.  CEO Todd Westby said that the company believes the technology will soon be ubiquitous:

"We foresee the use of RFID technology to drive everything from making purchases in our office break room market, opening doors, use of copy machines, logging into our office computers, unlocking phones, sharing business cards, storing medical/health information, and used as payment at other RFID terminals. Eventually, this technology will become standardized allowing you to use this as your passport, public transit, all purchasing opportunities, etc."

Why not?  They already own their sheep.  Precisely, why you willingly, compliantly bare your ass for corporate inspection by the company doctor.  Piss in a bottle under corporate supervision.  You're owned.  Bought and paid for.  For a compensation package that keeps you purposefully indentured servants.  Nazi America.

"The company is immediately facing questions about safety and privacy – for example, whether the technology could be used in invasive ways, like tracing employee whereabouts and monitoring the length of breaks."

Just the beginning.

"The chip is not trackable and only contains information you choose to associate with it," the company said in a Q and A. "This chip does not have GPS capabilities." It added that the device has been FDA-approved for some 13 years."

First iteration.  Think the next generations won't track, record and upload physiological data, parameters, etc..  The sky's the limit for Big Brother.

"The employees themselves appear to be responding positively. For example, software engineer Sam Bengtson told The New York Times that "it was pretty much 100 percent yes right from the get-go for me. ...In the next five to 10 years, this is going to be something that isn't scoffed at so much, or is more normal. So I like to jump on the bandwagon with these kind of things early, just to say that I have it."

A goddamned idiot too stupid to know he's owned, controlled, manipulated by his corporate masters.

The following email has been sent nearly daily to a woman at 2freehosting.com who was responsible for caving into Wells Fargo.  This email is re-edited occasionally as circumstances change.  Should you bank with Wells Fargo you may wish to ask them why they engage in deceptive trade practices and if in fact they indeed bribed Texas Gov. Greg Abbott while he was Texas Attorney General to ignore a complaint filed against them:

Fran,

All three Liberty In Peril FTP servers are down and apparently have been
hacked.  The three websites, however, remain up and running at time of
writing.  That is, libertyinperil.twomini.com, libertyinperil.wink.ws, and
libertyinperil.t15.org are accessible and running.  Only FTP access has
been effected making it impossible to upload.

The Filezilla messaging on twomini is:

Status:        Connecting to 31.170.167.137:21...
Status:        Connection attempt failed with "ECONNREFUSED - Connection
refused by server".
Error:        Could not connect to server

The exact same messaging, other than IP addresses, is the same on the wink
and t15 FTP servers. This hacking attack apparently occurred the day
after Wells Fargo closed two accounts because I publicly accused them of
criminal activity.  Your company needs to look into this matter. Get these
FTP servers up and running again.  A criminal complaint will be filed with
the U.S. Attorney regarding all the ongoing criminal activity by Wells
Fargo, now extended to hacking and undue interference with the webhosts.
Has 2freehosting been bribed and/or pressured by Wells Fargo?  Certainly,
one of numerous questions to be forwarded to criminal prosecutors.

Welcome.   Liberty In Peril has been relaunched at a new URL:
libertyinperil.com.  This is a new commercial site hosted in an overseas
country, which unlike our own, does value free speech, Net security,
privacy, equally importantly, despises hackers.  Banks too big to fail
should not have the ability to shut down ftp servers on four Liberty In
Peril websites, making upload impossible.  -- Simply, because they don't
want the truth of their criminal activity reported to the public.

Should this site not be kept up, running, and fully operational, the
libertyinperil.com domain will be quickly moved to a different host
despite cost and hassle.  No more bullsh-t.  Criminal complaints will be
prepared and filed against Amanda Wright, Lynn Massey, and the equally
criminal bastards in the Wells Fargo corporate management suite for
egregious deceptive trade practices.

Email notification of local businesses of these practices, has and will,
continue unabated until Wells Fargo accepts responsibility, ceases these
practices, and finally makes it right.  During the last several weeks
after the ftp servers were hacked, a blizzard of these emails was sent to
local businesses to keep intense pressure on the criminal bastards at
Wells Fargo.  Copies of these emails were sent to bank officials.  They
have been posted in this publication. ... We're already up to Salvo 74, --
and counting.

In addition, all new Newsletter Editions will feature an
available abbreviated version, smart phone friendly, that can be accessed
by clicking on the icon.  Will supplement the regular format of this
publication.  This is being done because so many of you access this
publication with smart phones and other devices with small screens.

This site has finally been fully uploaded.  All links appear to be
properly working.  Typos in the rush to get material up have also been
corrected.  There will be a few additional changes to be made as time
allows.  Including, again, a smart phone-friendly abbreviated version of
each future Newsletter Edition starting with v434 that will be available
in addition to the regular edition.

Hopefully, now, I can finally get back to the business of this
publication, that is exposure of corrupt, abusive, inept, clueless
government lackeys beholden to their corporate masters, rather than
dealing with recalcitrant webhosts.  We'll see.  With the
libertyinperil.com domain, however, any necessary changes in webhosts will
be easy to make since all links won't have to be changed or deactivated.

The pressure on Wells Fargo will continue unabated.  Should they further
interfere with operation of this publication, it will simply provide
additional fodder for criminal complaints to be filed against them.

On 9-22-15, Kingsland Wells Fargo Store Manager Amanda Wright forced
closure of two accounts because for nearly three years this writer has
publicly accused her, her predecessor Lynn Massey, and the Wells Fargo
corporate management suite of engaging in criminal deceptive trade
practices, as well as pressuring, unduly interfering and/or bribing
webhosts to take these websites down.

Apparently, they have successfully managed to unduly influence and/or
bribe the federal Consumer Financial 'Protection' Bureau and Texas
Attorney General Consumer Protection Division as well.  Forget?  The bank
is considered too big to fail.  Considers itself government.

For all practical purposes, that's perversely true.  They have money and
resources to buy not only their human chattel, but their bought and paid
for government lackeys. Be interesting to see whether or not the U.S.
Attorney is untouchable, or sadly, similarly capable of being bought.

Immediately after closure of these accounts, the three operational Liberty
In Peril FTP servers were hacked.  What that means is that while all three
sites remained operational and accessible to readers, new material could
not be uploaded. This continues to date.

Worse, 'free' accounts on all three 'free' webhosts conveniently no longer
provide technical control panel support.  Clearly, they don't want to know
there are problems. Have managed, however, to find other ways to contact
webhost management and have done precisely that.

Will take a criminal investigation to determine who hacked the sites,
however.  Most likely, Wells Fargo had a hand in it.  Certainly, have the
resources.  Highly, unlikely the Llano County Sheriff's Office was
involved.  Hard to believe they would be that stupid.  The Bank, however,
has nothing to lose. Owns its government lackeys.  The Sheriff and his
outrageously corrupt and abusive goons, however, can expect further
exposure in this publication. Should you have information regarding this
or any other issue, contact me.  I will protect your identity.

The effort to expose Wells Fargo egregious deceptive trade practices continues.  Several years ago to determinedly apply renewed pressure on our truly worthless, egregiously self-serving Texas Attorney General, now Governor, an excoriating email was sent to the bastard.  Copies of which were also passed on to both offending Wells Fargo officers. A copy was also sent to the Davis campaign and others at the time.

Voters did have a right to know as Attorney General, the GOP candidate for Governor apparently selectively investigated, or not, bona fide complaints filed by citizens against banks too big to fail.  Possibly, Wells Fargo could have lined his pockets in some fashion.  That has yet to be determined.

The bastard and his office, no matter what, failed to respond to the complaint originally snail mailed several years ago.  This material, figuratively targeting Wells Fargo and the governor 'wannabe' now Governor, had been posted and can be found by scrolling all the way down and clicking on the links well below.  ... Governor?  Wells Fargo bribe you to look the other way?

Will continue to do all I can to publicly expose this to all, both in this publication and elsewhere.  Have done precisely that with the following email sent to Owners, C&D Home Products Studio, Marble Falls, TX.   A copy of it was also sent to Wells Fargo officer Amanda Wright.  She has, indeed, been promoted to branch manager.  Reverse Darwinism.  Survival of the unfittest.

This young woman has indeed been rewarded by the Wells Fargo corporate management suite for engaging in criminal deceptive trade practices and her undying loyalty to her corporate masters. The process to update those already informed of this fiasco has finally been completed.  This latest material can be found by clicking on Wells Fargo Deceptive Trade Practices Salvo 164, 7-28-17.

The name of this publication was changed some ten years ago from The Llano Ledger to Liberty In Peril.  The reason?  Simple.  Cowardly failure of this community to stand up to tyranny that has only exponentially worsened the last decade.  Clearly, demonstrated as well by the cowardly failure of businesses to financially support this publication.  Either through advertising or other financial support.  Too afraid doing so would enrage the bastards who run and own this hellhole County.

-- Despite the fact these businesses were, and are, being egregiously f--ked by these very same bastards. Tough, isn't it?  Impossible to entertain any sympathy for cowardice, however.  Especially in view of the fact this writer has placed himself in great jeopardy taking on these corrupt, abusive, inept criminal bastards.  Alone.

Exactly, why you see no investigative material highly critical of these sons of bitches in other local rags.  Sadly, cowardly, all advertising income immediately dries up.  Consequently, the bastards continue their criminal chicanery with impunity.  On a rampage.  Thus, you get what you truly deserve.  Always.  Precisely, why this earlier name change to Liberty In Peril remains appropriate.  -- Despite the fact this writer has not yet left the area.  Ten years after originally intending to do so.  Thirty years in this goddamned godforsaken hellhole.

This writer, then and now, remains primarily interested in state, federal, and international issues.  Another reason for this publication name change.  Despite the fact I stupidly cluelessly remain here, local issues must be addressed.  Can't be ignored.  That's where you come in dear readers.  Have the courage to inform this writer of local abuse, corruption, ineptness you are aware of, have personally experienced.

... Information these criminal bastards do all they can to conceal, cover up.  Otherwise, how can they effectively sustain the charade and intended result?  Loot confiscation through a boot heel on the throat of the citizenry.

The only way, short of an unwanted dreaded second American revolution, to force badly-needed change is to expose all this to the light of day.  These bastards are beginning to understand they have a problem.  No question, the growing rage of those they've abused, looted, egregiously f--ked.  It's time to stand up.  Expose this corruption to glaring sunlight.  Otherwise, as fools, cowards, you will remain under their thumb.  From the loftiest business owner to those on the bottom of the food chain.  Wake up.  Grow a pair.

Still don't think that likely to happen.  After all, you're bought and paid for.  Owned.  Not only by your government masters, but their masters.  The corporate management suite.  Your employers.  Think not? Wake up.   You're human chattel.  Corporate-owned, bought and paid for.  Precisely, why you cowardly, compliantly, literally bare your asses for corporate inspection by the company doctor.  Willingly, compliantly, cowardly piss in a cup under employer supervision.  To sit in front of a keyboard or stock shelves all day.  You have no control of your lives.  You're owned.  Forget?  For a measly salary, no job security, reduced to no benefits.  At a time of record corporate profits and cash reserves.

Then, you gallingly complain about the oppression as you tolerate egregious theft of your labor.  Not only by your corporate masters, but their bought and paid for government lackeys.  Too cowardly to stand up, allow disclosure of your identity when you rightfully complain to this publication of being mercilessly f--ked. Some of you falsely arrested, criminally assaulted, bogusly fined for 'offenses' you did not commit.  To line County coffers.  Keep the peasants in line and under control.  A fascist police-state. Nazi America.

Again, yet another reason why this publication is called Liberty In Peril.  Most galling? Nothing changes if you fail to step up and challenge corrupt, abusive, inept authority.  Too afraid, cowardly compliant to let the bastardsknow who you are.  Did it ever occur to the cowards out there if the identity of the accuser is kept under wraps the bastards will falsely claim it's all made up by this publication?  Thus, conveniently killing all credibility.  Wake up.

Cowardice is unbecoming, unworthy of our formerly great country.  Insult to injury?  There are the hopelessly deranged who believe the chicanery reported here to be manufactured anyway.  No matter the effort.  No matter the research.  No matter the proof.  Wake up.  This writer cannot do it alone.  Snowball's chance in hell.  Then again, cowardice, delusion is always amply, justly rewarded.  Always. You continue to 'enjoy' the very best government money can buy.  Literally.

JP2 Linda Ballard Recording

Click herefor a most interesting conversation between JP2 Linda Ballard and LCRA Communications Supervisor Mitch Hibbs who at the time was investigating a complaint made by the Henderson family against the 'judge.'  The recording had been made by Hibbs and provided by Phyllis Henderson who had gotten it through an open records request.   During the course of the recording you will hear the 'judge' make a terroristic threat against the Henderson family which the investigator laughingly shrugged off as a joke.

Seems former LCRA Ranger Lance Bilski, stepson of Llano County Sheriff Bill Blackburn, had been harassing the Henderson family regarding their tire business, Henderson Tire.  Worse? There are unsubstantiated allegations, that although very much attached, Bilski may have indeed engaged in improprieties, that is, egregiously unprofessional conduct relevant to the Henderson complaint.  All this had been covered in Newsletter Text V346.

Publication of this material, however, should in no way be interpreted as endorsement of Ballard's opponent, Steve Lange, in the upcoming runoff.  It is not.  It is provided as a public service to expose the 'judge' for exactly whom and what she is.
