As always, when a cop does something heroic, and/or of exceptional benefit to the community, it leads. Always. The following story is quite unlike any other covered in this publication. Well beyond uncommon valor. Seatbelts on. CBS News reports:

"Two years ago, Officer Jody Thompson was pulling into the parking lot at the Poteau Police Department in Oklahoma to drop off his partner when he overheard a dispatch about a case of physical child abuse. Thompson wasn't on duty at the time, but he responded to the call and offered assistance. Before he joined the department 16 years ago, Thompson was an investigator for the district attorney's office, where he handled dozens of abuse cases."

"I've investigated child abuse cases before," Thompson told CBS News. "I thought I'd better go ahead and respond." When Thompson arrived at the scene, he was stunned to see a severely underweight boy -- his wrists bound by belts, with bruises along his back and a huge knot on his head. The 8-year-old boy had been submerged in a trash can full of cold water. He weighed just 61 pounds at the time."

"He did not have a spot on his body that didn't have a bruise or abrasion," Thompson said. "It was the worst thing I've ever seen." After covering the boy, who was named John, with a blanket, Thompson took him to an Oklahoma Children's Advocacy Center so detectives and investigators could take photographs. When they were done, Thompson drove him to the emergency room."

Got to be one hell of a sick son of a bitch to do this to a kid. Imagine being a cop and having to deal with this on a daily basis.

"I sat with him," Thompson said. "And when he was admitted into the intensive care unit, I sat all night until the next day."

How could someone in the community not know this shit was going on? How does this happen? Not your problem?

"Thompson refused to let John out of his sight. He knew from the first moment he saw him he wanted to take care of him for the rest of his life. "When I'd seen him in that house shivering and his hands tied -- just soaking wet and confused -- I knew at that moment the only time I would be satisfied and sure that he was safe is if he was with me," Thompson said."

"The next day, Thompson contacted the Oklahoma Department of Human Services (DHS) to become a certified foster parent. A couple days later, he brought John home."

No kid deserves abuse. The community needs to step up. Report this shit when you see it. Don't have the guts to do it openly? Do it anonymously. Just do it.

"At the time, I had a 15-year-old son and an 8-year-old son. When I brought John home I didn't tell them or my wife," Thompson said. "Everyone knew... they trusted I was doing the right thing before they even knew what happened and heard the story."

"Thompson welcomed John into his home on April 30, 2015. Two days later, he found out his wife was pregnant with their third biological son."

"Nearly 7 months later, on November 3, 2015, DHS called to inform the Thompsons that John's mother had given birth to a baby girl while in jail. Officials asked the Thompsons if they would be interested in fostering her. "We literally picked her up in the hospital the next day when she was a day old and brought her straight home," Thompson said. "Never in my life did I dream of having a large family, but God had different plans and so here we are. And I'm loving it all." Thompson formally adopted John in August after his biological parents, who are both incarcerated and awaiting criminal trials, relinquished their parental rights. However, they refused to relinquish rights for their daughter."

"After a lengthy jury trial and an appeal, the parents' rights were terminated and the Thompsons were able to adopt their little girl, Paizley, on February 16. "[John's] the toughest guy I've ever met," said Thompson, explaining that his son had to testify on his own behalf during the trial."

Why have kids if you're not willing to properly raise, support, and lovingly nourish their needs to adulthood?

"John is amazing. He's a straight-A student, on the honor roll, in the gifted and talented program, involved in the local drama club," Thompson said of his now 10-year-old son. "That kid's very resilient. He bounced back from this."

"On Tuesday, Thompson received a certificate of commendation from the Oklahoma Bureau of Investigations, and John stood by his side as he graciously accepted it."

Uncommon Valor. Hat's off to this exceptional officer and his family. Second to none.

Another case of outrageous abuse to a kid. This time, by a psychotic unidentified criminal. CBS News reports:

"A Dallas teenager who survived a horrific acid attack hopes police will catch her assailant, CBS DFW reports. "It melted my clothes off. I was in so much pain," 17-year-old Alma said from her hospital room where she's been recovering for more than a week. At 1 a.m. on Father's Day, she came home from work with her mom when they noticed their front porch light was out. "I see, like, this man just standing in front of me with a ski mask and a red jacket," she said. "I think it was a red hoodie, and he just like, he had a cup and he just threw it at me."

"Acid immediately began to eat away at her skin. The acid mainly landed on her back but it also burned her chest. Alma's attacker went after her twice, the second time, hurling acid at her face. "On my chest, on my back, on my eye and on my face a little bit and then my… my ear," she remembered. Alma's mother and brother were both with her during the attack. Her little brother was also splashed with acid and spent a day in the hospital with minor burns. Alma's mother said she was hysterical during the attack, but was able to remember there was a kiddie pool close by. She dunked Alma in the water, trying her best to wash away the acid."

"Alma has had several surgeries at Parkland Hospital and skin grafts to help her heal. Soon, she hopes to be well enough to learn to walk again and says she's recovering faster than doctors expected, just in time for her senior year. "I might not look the same, but not that bad," she said."

"She doesn't know exactly who attacked her, but she suspects she knows them. The attacker wrote this message on her house: "Alma, [expletive] n-word [expletive] love [expletive]."

"Dallas police are asking anyone with information to contact Detective M. Bailey at 214-671-3621 or B. Billings 214- 671-3083 with the Dallas Police Department Assaults Unit."

San Antonio Police Officer Miguel Moreno was recently murdered on duty. Fox News reports:

"Moreno, a nine-year veteran of the police department, was shot in the head last Thursday after he and another officer questioned two men near a vehicle that had been broken into. The officer died a day later."

Horrific loss for the Moreno family, SAPD, and the City of San Antonio. Fellow Officer Julio Cavazos was also shot. Fortunately, is expected to recover.

"The day after one of his police officers died from injuries he sustained in a shootout, San Antonio Police Chief William McManus said he was “angry” at all the hostility directed toward cops. "I'm angry at the police haters, I'm sick of the police haters," McManus said. "We protect them. We defend them. And they give us a big F U. And I'm sick of it." His comments were made Saturday during a monthly meeting with the community, the San Antonio Express-News reported. They came following the death of Police Officer Miguel Moreno, who was shot while investigating a vehicle break-in."

Can certainly understand the profound depth of grief expressed by the Chief. The Chief is respectfully reminded, however, extremely pointed criticism of rogue officers should not be equated, nor is it equatable, with hatred for police. No one should understand this better than the Chief:

It is directed against the criminal behavior of officers who murder innocent unarmed civilians on the job. Shake down, loot, ticket, innocent civilians to line government coffers as well as their own pockets. Become judge, jury, and executioner.

With impunity. -- As covered in edition after edition after edition of this publication, as well as elsewhere. ... The Chief is also reminded police did not protect unarmed, law-abiding citizens murdered by gutless officers all across our formerly great country. While the Chief's highly emotional criticism of protest directed against murderous officers is understandable after the murder of one of his officers, it should also serve as a wake up call:

Police procedure and tactics need to change. It is not acceptable to shoot first, ask questions later. Precisely, why an unwanted dreaded second American revolution catastrophically looms. As the doomsday clock strikes ever closer to midnight. The rumble? Deafening. Yet, police remain determinedly, cluelessly deaf. Why?

"A New York police officer who was shot in an "unprovoked attack" while in a marked police command vehicle early Wednesday has died, authorities say. The New York Police Department tweeted that the officer, a 12-year veteran of the force, was in the vehicle with her partner in the New York City borough of the Bronx. She's been identified as Miosotis Familia, a 48-year-old mother of three, including a set of twins."

"Command vehicles are stationary and resemble trailers, police explained. Police sources told CBS New York the suspect is seen on camera walking out of a bodega, putting his hoodie on, walking up to the passenger side of the vehicle and firing into it. The officer was sitting in the passenger side of the mobile command unit."

"This was an unprovoked direct attack on police officers who were assigned to keep the people of this city safe," Police Commissioner James O'Neill said, calling it an assassination. Her partner radioed for help. "Shots fired! 10-85!" the officer is heard frantically shouting after the gunfire, including the code for an officer down. "My partner's shot! My partner's shot! My partner's shot! Hurry up central!" Other officers confronted the suspect, who was running, a block away. The suspect drew a revolver and the officers fatally shot him, authorities said, adding that a silver revolver was recovered at the scene."

Command vehicles need to be far more secure to ensure this murder is not repeated.

"Another person, believed to be a bystander, was also hit by a bullet and was listed in stable condition, police said. The suspect was identified as 34 year-old Alexander Bonds, of New York, and was on parole for a robbery in Syracuse, New York, police said. Familia had been stationed in a mobile command post, a RV-sized truck used as a communications hub during major events, like the Fourth of July. She had been looking down, writing in her memo book, a police log where officers record their shift activity, when Bonds walked up."

"Bonds, who also went by John Bonds, had been on parole for a robbery case in Syracuse, New York, but was from the Bronx, police said. He is seen in surveillance footage marching up to the post "with purpose," officials said, but it's not clear what provoked the attack. Police say Familia had no prior contact with Bonds."

"In a video posted on Facebook in September, he ranted about the treatment of civilians by officers and talks about how hard life was behind bars. The photos of Bonds posted on the page match a police mugshot. "Don't think every brother, cousin, uncle you got that get killed in jail is because of a blood or crip or Latin King killing them. Nah, police be killing them and saying that an inmate killed them," he said in the video."

Remains a desperate need for radical change. Systemic change. Top to bottom. Bottom to top. The status quo is unsustainable. Will result in more of the same. Regardless, this outrageous murder of an innocent cop was perpetrated by a gutless criminal who had no business being paroled. Rehabilitation in prison? What's that? No more than temporary or long-term warehousing at best. This also must change.

Some cops know how to lighten up. The following is absolutely brilliant policing. NPR reports:

"The celebration looked as if it was coming to a crashing halt. A group of neighborhood kids had been taking full advantage of a huge slip-and-slide at an annual Fourth of July block party in Asheville, N.C., on Sunday, when city police officers pulled up in their cruiser. The kids stopped and stared. Somebody had called with a noise complaint and said the slip-and-slide was blocking the street."

Not true. False report. Officers brilliantly turned it to their advantage, however. Quite a plus for police-community relations. Get this:

"Officer Carrie Lee quickly decided that it was off to the side and there were no issues. Then she zeroed in on it for another reason. "I was kind of blown away with the magnitude of the slip-and-slide," Lee told NPR. "I said give me a trash bag. I will go down." Lee said the party-goers just laughed. "I said I'm serious, give me a trash bag." So someone handed over a heavy duty bag and down Lee went, a child following closely behind, as cell phone videos rolled."

Good day for the kids. Good day for the community. Good day for law enforcement.

"I'm a spontaneous person, a kid at heart," Lee said. She was able to convince her partner, Officer Joe Jones, to also take a spin. Being too tall for a trash bag, Jones got on an inflatable raft. Party goers' videos of police getting in on some lighthearted fun have been picked up by numerous national news outlets, including CNN, at a time when publicity surrounding police can be much darker."

That's right. These two officers were absolutely brilliant. The kids and the community will certainly never forget it. -- Who knows? ... Think one of the kids may not grow up to become an officer as a result?

"And while Lee says she thought video of her and her partner going down the slide would get passed around Facebook, "It has gotten a lot bigger than I expected it would." "I think it's just something fun that people don't see every day, police going down a slip-and-slide" Lee said. "It's a great way for us to show the public that we are just normal people. We like to have fun."

"President Trump spoke by phone with the last surviving member of the famed “Doolittle Raiders” to thank the 101-year-old veteran for his service as the nation marks Independence Day. The White House said Mr. Trump “offered his best wishes and support” to retired Lt. Col. Dick Cole, a World War II veteran who was recently injured. “The president congratulated Lt. Col. Cole on his courage, thanked him for his service, and wished him a full recovery in advance of his upcoming 102nd birthday,” the White House said of the Sunday phone call."

Younger readers are advised this was indeed a one-way mission. Consider for a moment what that means.

"Mr. Cole was co-pilot of the lead B-25 bomber piloted by Lt. Col. Jimmy Doolittle during the surprise raid on Tokyo on April 18, 1942, which was a response to Japan’s attack on Pearl Harbor. Their attack inflicted some damage but, more important, stunned the Japanese people and raised morale in the U.S."

Certainly, rattled the cage of the enemy. Here is why it was uncommon valor:

"The bomber crews launched their aircraft from the USS Hornet knowing that they would not have enough fuel to return to friendly territory. Mr. Cole and the rest of his crew bailed out over China, received help from Chinese soldiers and civilians, as well as an American missionary in China."

"Of the 80 pilots, navigators, engineers, bombardiers and gunners who took part in the raid, eight were captured by the Japanese who occupied China. One died of starvation in a prison camp and three others were executed."

The enemy certainly knew at that point they were in for one hell of a fight by a most determined foe.

Wake up, Sheriff. Again, where is dashcam video of the killing of Jeffrey Gray Wise, 52, of Austin by DPS and the Llano County Sheriff's Office? Sixty-three weeks, now. A goddamned disgrace. Why are you still sitting on this information? What are you hiding, Sheriff? What is the identity of the officers who killed Wise? Too gutless to release this information to the public that pays your salary and that of your goons? Reportedly, there were three officers involved in the shooting.

Who are they, Sheriff? Their past history? An ongoing investigation remains a lame bullshit excuse. How can you and your goons be trusted when you refuse to disclose information? Sixty-three weeks. Especially, your egregious failure to disclose the identity of the officers who pulled the trigger. To cover your sorry ass, Sheriff? Those of your thugs? The people have a right to know what happened, how it went down. You don't understand that, Sheriff? Sadly, clearly, you answer to no one. Including taxpayers. Especially, taxpayers.

Until you and your goons come clean, doubt will remain this was indeed a good shoot. The longer you drag your feet, the greater the doubt. Think not? Wake up. Your credibility has tanked. Isn't getting any better as this bullshit continues unabated. Sixty-three weeks. Still no identification of the officers involved ... Can't get your stories straight? In line? Discrepancy between LCSO and DPS? Wake up, Sheriff. The public no longer buys the bullshit. No longer trusts you. On this and many, many other issues. You have no credibility. Absolutely, none.

There was one within the City of Llano, another in a field near Fuzzy's Corner, Buchanan Dam, yet another in Point Tella, Buchanan Dam, still another in Tow. It's time the public be fully informed. -- Know what we're dealing with here and how 'law' 'enforcement' operates in this hell hole County. If these jackbooted bastards are not reined in, the life lost could be yours courtesy of a law enforcement system that is no longer accountable to anyone. ... Right, Sheriff? TL? "Sonny Boy?" Madam County Attorney?

The Sheriff seems to have no clue the people who pay him and his goons are entitled to know whom is killing whom and why. This shit always seems to be swept under the carpet. Ignored. "When the city reaches a settlement in a case, certain parties aren't allowed to comment. But Ashley Overbey said she thought she still had the right to defend herself by responding to comments online."

"Overbey said her ordeal started in 2012, after she called police when her apartment had been burglarized. When officers arrived, she said the encounter turned tragic."

"A former Oregon detective has pleaded guilty to two misdemeanors for failing to investigate reports of child abuse, behavior his lawyer said was caused by burnout. Ex-Clackamas County sheriff's Detective Jeffrey Allen Green, 59, pleaded guilty on Thursday, The Oregonian/OregonLive reported ( http://bit.ly/2t9qqDE ). Green was accused of not investigating more than 50 cases during his six years as a detective. "Deputy District Attorney Bryan Brock, one of the prosecutors against Green, told the judge that he had worked with Green on several cases and the District Attorney's Office worked with him on a regular basis. Green was a "very experienced" detective and his mishandling of dozens cases wasn't due to a lack of intellect, Brock said."

"Chief Deputy District Attorney Chris Owen said his office didn't perceive any potential conflicts of interest with handling Green's case. "I do know Detective Green, and I certainly know him to be a capable detective when he chose to be so," Brock said."

One of the reasons why murderous officers are not convicted is bias in favor of them displayed by 'judges' presiding over their trials. ABC News reports:

"The judge who presided over the case against the police officer who shot Philando Castile has written a letter of support to the jurors who acquitted him, saying there was "a failure to understand what you were asked to do" by the public and media outlets."

Unadulterated horse shit. The 'judge' clearly demonstrated his true bias in favor of the criminal jackbooted bastards in blue. The jury failed to convict a murderer who gutlessly shot first, asked questions later.

"The June 16 decision to acquit Saint Anthony, Minnesota, police officer Jeronimo Yanez was met with widespread criticism after dash cam footage showed him shooting 32-year-old Castile seven times in quick succession during a routine traffic stop."

For damned good reason. They failed to convict a gutless, murderous police officer. Gave the criminal son of a bitch benefit of doubt he did not deserve. Murdered in cold blood. Had it been any other citizen, he would have been convicted.

"A mostly-white jury of five women and seven men ultimately moved to acquit Yanez of second-degree manslaughter and two counts of intentional discharge of a firearm that endangers safety."

Racism was certainly a factor in the murder. The victim was black, law-abiding, licensed to carry, and followed the murderous officer's orders. Yet, got executed.

"Ramsey County District Judge William H. Leary III referenced the dramatic dash cam video, released on June 20 by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the Ramsey County Attorney's Office, in his letter to jurors, which was obtained by the Minnesota Star Tribune."

The video was more than enough evidence to convict. Yet, the nazi 'judge' did not think so. Imagine that:

"The criticism of the jury’s decision of which I am aware has focused primarily on a reaction to the squad-cam video and on consideration of issues you as jurors were never asked to address," Leary wrote in the letter, which was dated June 23. "You were simply asked to determine, beyond a reasonable doubt, whether a crime had been committed."

That's true. A crime had indeed been committed. No justification for the officer to have pumped seven rounds into an innocent man. The officer gutlessly choked. Caved into cowardice. Then, used that cowardice, unbridled fear to justify murdering an innocent man.

Did so on the basis of Supreme Court decisions not-so-cleverly designed to protect murderous officers. That is, if an officer feels threatened, he or she is granted carte blanche to murder. A get out of jail free card afforded no one other than officers who murder.

"You were never asked to decide whether racism continues to exist, whether certain members of our community are disproportionately affected by police tactics, or whether police training is ineffective," Leary added."

Leary's head remains securely lodged up his ass. 'See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil.' The issues raised by the last quote above by Leary were indeed irrelevant to whether or not this murderous cop executed an innocent man.

The jury rubber stamped a gutless murder perpetrated by a criminal police officer, pleasing a 'jurist' egregiously unfit to sit on the bench.

"Typically, judges speak with jurors immediately after a verdict is reached. Leary's decision to submit the letter after the fact is unusual."

Proof positive the 'judge' is indeed shamelessly biased in favor of law enforcement. ... Was the letter no more than a pathetic, gutless attempt to assuage your guilt, 'Judge?' Failure to do your duty?

"A spokesman for the Minnesota Judicial Branch responded to ABC News' request for comment by saying "the letter must speak for itself." Leary also declined to comment further. "I appreciate your interest but I don't believe any discussion would be of any additional value," Leary said in a statement."

Proof positive innocent, law-abiding citizens can expect no justice in court. Precisely why police, prosecutors, and the courts cannot be trusted. Have an agenda. To protect their own.

But two hours later, the event was closed again. The White House did not provide an explanation of the logistical challenges in accommodating the media."

"Trump was set to deliver remarks at a high-dollar event held at the hotel he owns in Washington. An invitation to the event showed tickets started at $35,000 per person, with a $100,000 price tag to sit on the host committee. It's the first event Trump has held to raise funds for his re-election effort. It comes two and a half years earlier than Presidents Obama and George W. Bush held their first money events for their re-election efforts."

We were heartened to hear a number of Republican lawmakers call out Mr. Trump for his offensive words and can only hope that the women who are closest to him will follow their examples. It would be the height of hypocrisy to claim the mantle of women’s empowerment while allowing a family member to continue such abusive conduct."

For the commission itself to have integrity, it must look at the ways states make it harder to vote for no good reason, such as through strict voter ID requirements that serve no purpose other than to drum up concerns of voter fraud, harming actual voters in the process."

Welcome. Liberty In Peril has been relaunched at a new URL:
libertyinperil.com. This is a new commercial site hosted in an overseas
country, which unlike our own, does value free speech, Net security,
privacy, equally importantly, despises hackers. Banks too big to fail
should not have the ability to shut down ftp servers on four Liberty In
Peril websites, making upload impossible. -- Simply, because they don't
want the truth of their criminal activity reported to the public.

Should this site not be kept up, running, and fully operational, the
libertyinperil.com domain will be quickly moved to a different host
despite cost and hassle. No more bullsh-t. Criminal complaints will be
prepared and filed against Amanda Wright, Lynn Massey, and the equally
criminal bastards in the Wells Fargo corporate management suite for
egregious deceptive trade practices.

Email notification of local businesses of these practices, has and will,
continue unabated until Wells Fargo accepts responsibility, ceases these
practices, and finally makes it right. During the last several weeks

This site has finally been fully uploaded. All links appear to be
properly working. Typos in the rush to get material up have also been
corrected. There will be a few additional changes to be made as time
allows. Including, again, a smart phone-friendly abbreviated version of
each future Newsletter Edition starting with v434 that will be available
in addition to the regular edition.

Hopefully, now, I can finally get back to the business of this
publication, that is exposure of corrupt, abusive, inept, clueless
government lackeys beholden to their corporate masters, rather than
dealing with recalcitrant webhosts. We'll see. With the
libertyinperil.com domain, however, any necessary changes in webhosts will
be easy to make since all links won't have to be changed or deactivated.

The pressure on Wells Fargo will continue unabated. Should they further
interfere with operation of this publication, it will simply provide
additional fodder for criminal complaints to be filed against them.

On 9-22-15, Kingsland Wells Fargo Store Manager Amanda Wright forced
closure of two accounts because for nearly three years this writer has
publicly accused her, her predecessor Lynn Massey, and the Wells Fargo
corporate management suite of engaging in criminal deceptive trade
practices, as well as pressuring, unduly interfering and/or bribing
webhosts to take these websites down.

Apparently, they have successfully managed to unduly influence and/or
bribe the federal Consumer Financial 'Protection' Bureau and Texas
Attorney General Consumer Protection Division as well. Forget? The bank
is considered too big to fail. Considers itself government.

For all practical purposes, that's perversely true. They have money and
resources to buy not only their human chattel, but their bought and paid
for government lackeys. Be interesting to see whether or not the U.S.
Attorney is untouchable, or sadly, similarly capable of being bought.

Immediately after closure of these accounts, the three operational Liberty
In Peril FTP servers were hacked. What that means is that while all three
sites remained operational and accessible to readers, new material could
not be uploaded. This continues to date.

Worse, 'free' accounts on all three 'free' webhosts conveniently no longer
provide technical control panel support. Clearly, they don't want to know
there are problems. Have managed, however, to find other ways to contact
webhost management and have done precisely that.

Will take a criminal investigation to determine who hacked the sites,
however. Most likely, Wells Fargo had a hand in it. Certainly, have the
resources. Highly, unlikely the Llano County Sheriff's Office was
involved. Hard to believe they would be that stupid. The Bank, however,
has nothing to lose. Owns its government lackeys. The Sheriff and his
outrageously corrupt and abusive goons, however, can expect further

The effort to expose Wells Fargo egregious deceptive trade practices continues. Several years ago to determinedly apply renewed pressure on our truly worthless, egregiously self-serving Texas Attorney General, now Governor, an excoriating email was sent to the bastard. Copies of which were also passed on to both offending Wells Fargo officers. A copy was also sent to the Davis campaign and others at the time.

Voters did have a right to know as Attorney General, the GOP candidate for Governor apparently selectively investigated, or not, bona fide complaints filed by citizens against banks too big to fail. Possibly, Wells Fargo could have lined his pockets in some fashion. That has yet to be determined.

The bastard and his office, no matter what, failed to respond to the complaint originally snail mailed several years ago. This material, figuratively targeting Wells Fargo and the governor 'wannabe' now Governor, had been posted and can be found by scrolling all the way down and clicking on the links well below. ... Governor? Wells Fargo bribe you to look the other way?

Will continue to do all I can to publicly expose this to all, both in this publication and elsewhere. Have done precisely that with the following email sent to Scott Wesner, Publisher, Hill Country Current. A copy of it was also sent to Wells Fargo officer Amanda Wright. She has, indeed, been promoted to branch manager. Reverse Darwinism. Survival of the unfittest.

This young woman has indeed been rewarded by the Wells Fargo corporate management suite for engaging in criminal deceptive trade practices and her undying loyalty to her corporate masters. Click herefor a most interesting conversation between JP2 Linda Ballard and LCRA Communications Supervisor Mitch Hibbs who at the time was investigating a complaint made by the Henderson family against the 'judge.' The recording had been made by Hibbs and provided by Phyllis Henderson who had gotten it through an open records request. During the course of the recording you will hear the 'judge' make a terroristic threat against the Henderson family which the investigator laughingly shrugged off as a joke.

Seems former LCRA Ranger Lance Bilski, stepson of Llano County Sheriff Bill Blackburn, had been harassing the Henderson family regarding their tire business, Henderson Tire. Worse? There are unsubstantiated allegations, that although very much attached, Bilski may have indeed engaged in improprieties, that is, egregiously unprofessional conduct relevant to the Henderson complaint. All this had been covered in Newsletter Text V346.
