Any time law enforcement does something courageous, and/or of exceptional benefit to the community, it leads. Always. The following is an inspiring story about the heroic combined effort of citizens and police to save the life of a heart attack victim. WGN-TV reports:

"Michael and Vivian Aronson were at Shallot’s in Skokie last month. “The food was just about to be delivered, and I was about to say something and everything went black,” Michael said. 71-year-old Michael passed out. The couple happened to be out with their friend Karen Vogel who is a medical doctor. She quickly began performing CPR. 911 was also called."

What happened next is quite extraordinary. A team effort to desperately save a life:

“Then people started lining up and offering to assist Karen in the CPR,” Vivian said. When the Skokie police arrived, they took over. Someone ran to the Anytime Fitness next door and broke in to get a defibrillator. By this time there were nine Skokie police officers at the scene. “One of the policemen said give me the defibrillator and shocked Michael twice and brought him around,” Vivian said. “Because he was for all practical purposes dead.'"

"Michael later woke up at the hospital. Doctors said he had suffered a heart attack. Vivian says, “The most important thing we want to see people being trained in CPR, in the use of a defibrillator. I saw on a personal note how this can save a life and as it says in scriptures, ‘If you save a life, it`s as if you save the world.'”

"Michael says he feels lucky, like he`s been given a second chance. He says he wants to go visit the officers who helped save his life - once he feels a little better."

Heroes come from all walks of life. All age groups. Even the young and inexperienced. WSVN 7 News Miami reports:

"A McDonald’s employee came to the rescue of an off-duty police officer, Tuesday morning, when she suffered a medical emergency while sitting in her car at the restaurant’s drive-thru. After the Miami-Dade Police officer suffered the medical emergency, her car started rolling slowly away from the drive-thru line and hit a median, surveillance footage shows. That’s when the employee, 22-year-old Pedro Viloria, jumped out of the drive-thru window and pulled the officer out of her vehicle. “I never panicked. I never panicked at all. My brain was on hero mode, totally,” Viloria said. “I thought immediately something’s going on with that woman right now and I gotta do something.”

"The officer’s kids were in the car with her. “Her kids were screaming like, ‘Mother, mother, stop it, mother. What are you doing?'” Viloria said. A Miami-Dade Fire Rescue paramedic inside the McDonald’s realized what was happening and went outside to help."

“I thought if these kids lose their mother today, that’s gonna be tragic,” Viloria said. “It is what a hero does, if I would’ve need to die to save that woman, I would’ve done it.”

"Rescue units arrived and transported the officer to Kendall Regional Hospital, where she was listed in critical condition."

Hat's off to both Mr. Viloria and the paramedic. Hopefully, the officer will fully recover.

Wake up, Sheriff. Again, where is dashcam video of the killing of Jeffrey Gray Wise, 52, of Austin by DPS and the Llano County Sheriff's Office? Forty-eight weeks, now. A goddamned disgrace. Why are you still sitting on this information? What are you hiding, Sheriff? What is the identity of the officers who killed Wise? Too gutless to release this information to the public that pays your salary and that of your goons? Reportedly, there were three officers involved in the shooting.

Who are they, Sheriff? Their past history? An ongoing investigation remains a lame bullshit excuse. How can you and your goons be trusted when you refuse to disclose information? Forty-eight weeks. Especially, your egregious failure to disclose the identity of the officers who pulled the trigger. To cover your sorry ass, Sheriff? Those of your thugs? The people have a right to know what happened, how it went down. You don't understand that, Sheriff? Sadly, clearly, you answer to no one. Including taxpayers. Especially, taxpayers.

It's time the public be fully informed. -- Know what we're dealing with here and how 'law' 'enforcement' operates in this hell hole County. If these jackbooted bastards are not reined in, the life lost could be yours courtesy of a law enforcement system that is no longer accountable to anyone. ... Right, Sheriff? TL? "Sonny Boy?" Madam County Attorney?

The Sheriff seems to have no clue the people who pay him and his goons are entitled to know whom is killing whom and why. This shit always seems to be swept under the carpet. Ignored. The Texas Rangers have become rubber stamp to atrocities committed by law enforcement. This also has to change. No one is holding law enforcement accountable any longer. No one. Would you believe the last time the Sheriff's Office happened to be 'audited' during the Garrett regime, reportedly, auditors couldn't figure out what went where and why? Yet, surprise, surprise. Nothing was done. There has to be transparency. There is none. Why would these thieving bastards want any? ... Right, Sheriff? TL? How else could they so easily steal and loot with virtual impunity? The public has a right to know the histories of the Sheriff's goons. Clearly, the Sheriff doesn't think so. That is, where they came from. Why they left where they were. What is happening here is the Sheriff is using 'personnel matters' as a convenient excuse to deny the public access to the history of outrageously corrupt, abusive, inept officers who are no more than criminals themselves.

Worse, the standards imposed by sheriff's offices statewide with the exception of metropolitan counties are well below those of DPS and city police departments. Why? The public should understand Llano County authorities have it all sewn up. Did you know the Texas Attorney General does not have the authority to investigate and prosecute County authorities on his own? The District Attorney has to call for an investigation by the Texas Rangers. Then, the State can prosecute if it so chooses.

Consequently? Guess what? Nothing will happen. Nothing ever does. The goddamned corruption continues unabated until you, the public, pressure authorities. Precisely, why we all enjoy the 'best' government money can buy. Literally. Without question, the corrupt, abusive, inept sons of bitches are all bought and paid for. Interestingly, the former Sheriff and District Attorney were reportedly forced to retire after an outrageous scandal involving a drunk driving police officer from out of town. Including special treatment of the drunken son of a bitch that no other citizen caught doing the same would have been afforded. An honest, honorable Llano County Deputy suffered the consequences. Forget? Great officers do not last in this hell hole County. ... Right, Sheriff? TL? "Sonny Boy?" Madam County Attorney?

With all ongoing abuse in this goddamned County, one thing remains for damned sure. We're just getting started, Sheriff. In follow up to a much earlier edition of this publication vis a vis the killing of Tamir Rice, NBC News reports:

"A 911 dispatcher who took a call that led to a white police officer's fatal shooting of a 12-year-old black boy outside a recreation center has been suspended for eight days. Police Chief Calvin Williams found in a disciplinary letter dated March 10 that Constance Hollinger violated protocol the day of the shooting of Tamir Rice, who had been playing with a pellet gun. Tamir was shot within seconds of a police cruiser skidding to a stop just a few feet away from him in November 2014 outside the Cleveland rec center. The city's internal disciplinary charges accused Hollinger of failing to tell the dispatcher who sent the officers to the rec center that the man who called 911 about "a guy" pointing a gun at people also said it could be a juvenile and the gun might be a "fake."

Apparently, the dispatcher was conveniently made a scapegoat. Both officers involved in the murder of Rice wound up skating:

"Loehmann and Garmback, who weren't criminally charged, face possible discipline by McGrath that could result in them being dismissed from the Cleveland police department."

These two pieces of human excrement not only were not charged, but still haven't faced disciplinary action for the murder of this kid.

"The city agreed last April to pay Tamir's family $6 million to settle a federal civil rights lawsuit."

Big shit. Doesn't bring back the kid. Nowhere near enough in 'compensation.' Certainly, doesn't bankrupt the two criminal jackbooted bastards in blue, the department, or the city.

Here is one of the stupidest examples of police behavior seen in quite some time. The jackbooted bastards in blue killed a man to 'save' him. Seatbelts on. Get this. ABC News reports:

"California police shot and killed a shirtless, knife-wielding man whom they had forced out of his locked minivan with a firehose after witnessing him pouring gasoline on a rag and lighting a cigarette, authorities said."

You read it right the first time. That's indeed correct. They killed him to 'save' his life. This is now the convoluted 'thinking' of the jackbooted bastards in blue:

"We felt this guy was going to light himself on fire or blow the car up," Orange police Lt. Fred Lopez said Monday, the day after officers fatally shot 33-year-old Michael Anthony Perez."

"Parts of the strange-then-violent standoff were captured on close-up, professionally shot video aired by KABC-TV, though Perez is partially blocked from view by another vehicle. The video shows the water spraying as police use batons to break the van's windows then shows Perez climbing out head-first through the driver's side window. He then struggled with officers. No weapon is seen but a voice is heard yelling "knife" moments before two shots rang out. A non-lethal round of rubber projectiles was ineffective so officers used lethal force, Lopez said."

Jesus Christ. Give me a f--king break. This, the best law enforcement has to offer? What has happened to law enforcement? No more than Keystone Kops?

"Perez was hit by a single bullet and pronounced dead at a hospital, police said."

"We try to use less lethal rounds, but it is not always possible," Lopez said."

"Police said Perez had a criminal record that included weapons and drugs violations. Online court listings show convictions for charges including drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia."

"Thorsen said an active warrant was out in connection with the minivan. The man was pulled over for a broken tail light and the incident played out over a 20- to 30-minute span near a 24-hour laundry and other businesses in a surrounding strip mall, police said."

"I had never seen anything like that," said Fabian Huerta, who watched with surprise as police started spraying water into the van. "I thought he was going to surrender."

The victim was suicidal. The cops either had no patience or lacked sufficient training. Too easy for these bastards to murder on the job. Do so with impunity.

"Huerta, who works cleaning businesses at the strip mall, said in Spanish that he saw an officer grab the suspect by the hand before he heard gunshots."

"The shooting was being investigated by the Orange County district attorney's office."

Prosecutors who refuse to seek the death penalty in Florida quickly get the boot. CBS News reports:

"Just hours after Florida State Attorney Aramis Ayala announced Thursday that she will not seek the death penalty in any case under her administration, including the case of a man accused of killing his pregnant ex-girlfriend and a police officer, the state’s governor asked her to recuse herself from the Markeith Loyd case, reports CBS affiliate WKMG. When Ayala refused, Governor Rick Scott removed her."

“I completely disagree with State Attorney Ayala’s decision and comments,” Scott said. “She has made it abundantly clear that she will not fight for justice for Lt. Debra Clayton and our law enforcement officers who put their lives on the line every day.”

"Bronx Supreme Court justice Lester Adler sentenced Krull to serve four three-year sentences and four one-year sentences, to be served concurrently, followed by five years of supervised release, according to the Times. "Tony Plohetski, investigative reporter for the Austin American-Statesman and KVUE-TV, reports that evidence is mounting that the raids targeted Austin in retaliation against Travis County Sheriff Sally Hernandez’s limited cooperation with ICE. Plohetski reports that a magistrate judge said that, prior to the raid, not only were a group of judges warned by ICE officials about the operation and a possible uptick of defendants, but they were also specifically told that the reason for the raid was Hernandez’s lack of cooperation."

"When Buffalo, New York couple Akram Shibly and Kelly McCormick returned to the U.S. from a trip to Toronto on Jan. 1, 2017, U.S. Customs & Border Protection officers held them for two hours, took their cellphones and demanded their passwords. "It just felt like a gross violation of our rights," said Shibly, a 23-year-old filmmaker born and raised in New York. But he and McCormick complied, and their phones were searched."

A business traveler? You're out of luck, -- unless your company provides a properly secured device.

"This is just going to grow and grow and grow," said Senator Wyden. "There's tremendous potential for abuse here."

"Customs and Border officers can search travelers without any level of suspicion. They have the legal authority to go through any object crossing the border within 100 miles, including smartphones and laptops. They have the right to take devices away from travelers for five days without providing justification. In the absence of probable cause, however, they have to give the devices back."

All the more reason to remain nowhere near the border. If you need to be near the border, carry no digital devices.

"CBP also searches people on behalf of other federal law enforcement agencies, sending its findings back to partners in the DEA, FBI, Treasury and the National Counterterrorism Center, among others."

Despite being cleared by the Global Entry program, Sidd Bikkannavar received an "X" on his customs form. He is not Muslim, and he is not from any of the seven countries named in President Trump's original "travel ban" executive order. Half his family comes from India but he was born and raised in California."

"CBP also regularly searches people leaving the country. On February 9, Haisam Elsharkawi was stopped by security while trying to board his flight out of Los Angeles International Airport. He said that six Customs officers told him he was randomly selected. They demanded access to his phone and when he refused, Elsharkawi said they handcuffed him, locked him in the airport's lower level and asked questions including how he became a citizen. Elsharkawi thought he knew his rights and demanded access to legal counsel."

Should have told them to go f--k themselves. Fifth Amendment right to silence. Sixth Amendment right to legal counsel. You do have those rights.

"They said if I need a lawyer, then I must be guilty of something," said Elsharkawi, and Egyptian-born Muslim and naturalized U.S. citizen. After four hours of questioning in detention, he unlocked his smartphone and, after a search, was eventually released. Elsharkawi said he intends to sue the Department of Homeland Security."

"The Customs & Border Patrol policy manual says that electronic devices fall under the same extended search doctrine that allows them to scan bags in the typical security line."

"Since the policy was written in 2009, legal advocates argue, several court cases have set new precedents that could make some CBP electronic searches illegal. Several former DHS officials pointed to a 2014 Supreme Court ruling in Riley v California that determined law enforcement needed a warrant to search electronic devices when a person is being arrested. The court ruled unanimously, and Chief Justice John Roberts wrote the opinion."

"For now a Department of Justice internal bulletin has instructed that, unless border officers have a search warrant, they need to take protective measures to limit intrusions, and make sure their searches do not access travelers' digital cloud data. "On February 20, Sen. Wyden wrote to DHS Secretary John Kelly demanding details on electronic search-practices used on U.S. citizens, and referred to the extent of electronic searches as government "overreach". As of publication, he had yet to receive an answer."

"Now Sen. Wyden says that as early as next week he plans to propose a bill that would require CBP to at least obtain a warrant to search electronics of U.S. citizens, and explicitly prevent officers from demanding passwords. "The old rules ... seem to be on the way to being tossed in the garbage can," said Senator Wyden. "I think it is time to update the law."

Time to follow the Constitution. Challenge the constitutionality of the old law. The criminal jackbooted bastards are out of uniform. Where are their swastika armbands?

"Asked about the Shibly case, a CBP spokesperson declined to comment, but said the Homeland Security Inspector General is investigating. "She said, 'You don't have to sign this if you don't want to, but it's for Larry and it would be appreciated if we could let him know that we're thinking about him,'" said gymnast Lindsey Lemke, 21, who recalls that some team members did sign."

"In the coming months, more than 80 girls and women would accuse Nassar of sexually abusing them — including Lemke, who estimates she was molested hundreds of times during three years of treatment and is suing the osteopathic physician and the university. MSU, the ninth largest college in the nation and a sports powerhouse, is now at the center of a scandal that reaches all the way to the Olympics because Nassar was also the longtime team physician for USA Gymnastics."

"You got into his office and there's just pictures of gymnasts everywhere, of him and Olympic gymnasts." Amanda said that early in the exam, she felt uncomfortable about how Nassar was handling her, but there was a female resident in the room, so she wasn't alarmed. But after he sent the resident elsewhere, Amanda said, he began manipulating her breast and "made an off-hand comment about how my boyfriend needed to give me better massages."

"He asked her to lie face-down on a table and "he pulled the sweatpants down and started massaging around my butt and then slipped his finger in between my legs," she said. "I was paralyzed with fear and frozen." When he started to insert his fingers into her vagina, Amanda said, she pushed him off and told him to stop. She said he was clearly aroused and rushed to a corner and stood with his back to her. "I knew that what he was doing to me was sexual," she said. "I wanted to get out of the room as fast as I could."

"I.M. Healthy Brand SoyNut Butter, a peanut-free sandwich spread, is hastily pulling its jars from store shelves. Last week, the company learned some of its product was contaminated with the bacteria E. coli — an outbreak that has, as of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention's most recent update on March 7, caused five kidney failures and eight hospitalizations. The SoyNut Butter and a related granola were sold in stores across the country, according to the Food and Drug Administration. It was also served in an untold number of child-care centers and schools. The FDA does not specify, however, which stores, centers or schools — because that would violate its interpretation of an obscure trade secret rule."

"This interpretation differs from that of other agencies in the federal food safety system, an overlapping and often illogical network of regulatory fiefdoms. The system, which is responsible for keeping food free of bacteria and other pathogens, frequently has to weigh the very real interests of private food companies against potential risks to the public. In the case of releasing retailer lists during major outbreaks, the FDA has historically sided with business, ruling that such lists constitute “confidential commercial information” and thus should not be available for public consumption."

Clearly, corporate interests trump public safety. Think this will improve under the Trump nazi and his determined effort to deregulate? To line the bottomless pockets of his corporate cronies and the rest of the top 1%.

"Critics say that the agency’s unwillingness to share this information poses a clear danger to public health, particularly in cases like the current E. coli outbreak, where parents may not know if their child consumed the recalled product. Corporate interests trump public safety. Certainly, any threat to the bottom line.

“Our mantra is that a more transparent food system is a safer food system,” said Thomas Gremillion, the director of food policy at the Consumer Federation of America. “And there a lots of instances where having that distribution list would help victims of food-borne illness.”

"When a company does issue a recall, it has wide latitude over the amount of information it shares; in some cases, a recall will never be made public. Recalls that are made public typically contain a description of the product and an explanation of the problem. But companies are not required to reveal where the product was sold — whether to a store, a school, a restaurant or another manufacturer that put it in other products."

Amusingly, Glen Beck seems to be eschewing his Tea Party roots. Appears, to be softening his Hard Right ideology. CBS News reports:

"Former Fox News firebrand Glenn Beck said of President Trump’s newly revised travel ban that he agrees that an Islamist threat exists, but he criticized the White House, Congress and the media for failing to explain the difference between Islamists and Muslims."

"In an interview with Alex Wagner on CBSN Thursday, Beck, a prominent never-Trumper who supported Ted Cruz’s presidential candidacy, said that the vast majority of Muslims in America are “no different than Catholics or Mormons.” An Islamist, on the other hand, believes “that the Koran supercedes the Constitution or any country” and the country must be run by religious rule. He told Wagner that the fallout from failing to differentiate between Islamists and Muslims could have a dangerous cost: “We could see some sort of internment camp situation,” he predicted, “if there is a December 7th.” Beck was referring to the internment of Japanese Americans during World War II after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. “ We could head someplace we’ve been before and we don’t want to go again,” he warned."

As an Independent, can certainly see great wisdom in the point he's trying to get across.

“We’re losing our faith in everything. It’s concerning to me that we’re now going down this road of ‘deep state.’ We have to logically come together -- people on the right and the left that are fair minded -- let’s fix reason firmly in her seat and question everything honestly and look at all of it, and disprove this or prove this,” Beck pleaded. “We can’t go another year, let alone another four years with someone claiming that the government is somehow or another run by shadow people.”

A stunning change in tone and substance for this heretofore Hard Right, hard hitting, determinedly vituperative, formerly 'take no prisoners' mouthpiece.

Now, in a moment of deep gloom for the nation’s intellectuals, life delivers a gleaming gift: Glenn Beck, godfather to the tea party, cable news rabble-rouser of the first order, a hawker of ornate and dire conspiracy theories, not only has spent the past year as a Never Trumper but also has spurned his past and is testifying to the power of love, understanding and empathy — for liberals!"

Certainly, got a good laugh out of the above. Don't believe I'd take it anywhere near that far, however. LOL. There has been, though, quite a noticeable change in Beck. Apparently, he's having second thoughts about the rabid ideology of the Hard Right. Be interesting to see, as time passes, whether or not this is true, sustainable.

... Just when he appeared to be doing so well, LOL, now this. Get this. Fox News reports:

"Tomi Lahren has reportedly been suspended from TheBlaze following pro-choice comments she made on Friday’s episode of “The View.”

Who'd 'a 'thunk' it, no? LOL. Can't have that, can we? Free speech in nazi media? Indeed, an oxymoron. LOL.

"On Friday’s episode of “The View,” she told the audience she was pro-choice. “I’m someone that’s for limited government. While Beck intensely decried her stand on abortion and allegedly had something to do with her suspension, he still acknowledged her right to those views, but apparently not the right to express them. Get it? Wish I did. LOL. ... At least he appears to be making some progress. LOL.

That's a problem for Republican fascists who want no imposition of regulations on their corporate masters. Why? Since the statutes aren't clear, open to interpretation by regulators, regulators are inclined to do their jobs. That is, prevent the corporate management suite from polluting the air, water, land, etc.. Consequence? Increases cost for business utterly intolerable to GOP nazis intent on lining the pockets of their corporate masters, -- who in turn line theirs.

'It's the money, stupid.' No more complicated than that. The bottom line. Damage to the environment? Of no concern to most Republicans. Can't seem to see that far ahead. Legislators, by nature, are not only achingly, falsely enamored with themselves, but insufferably lazy. Exactly, why they don't precisely delineate in law their intentions. Leave wiggle room.

Worse? Legislation on major bills can be thousands and thousands of pages long. No one even reads them in their entirety. Have no idea what they're voting on. Legislation is also as long as it is to impress constituents with the illusion the bastards are actually doing something. When in reality, nothing is being truly accomplished. Certainly, one of the reasons why Obamacare is failing.

Legislation should be no longer than two pages. Written in simple English. Rather than legalese that no one understands. Take a smaller bite at enormous problems. A little at a time as ramifications are learned. Instead, the bastards try to do it all at once. Fail miserably, then wonder why. Chevron deference would be no issue if bills were far shorter, understandable, -- and explicit.

The Republican fascist nominated by the Trump nazi, Neil Gorsuch, is expected to be grilled on this concept by Democrats during confirmation hearings.

"The Supreme Court’s 1984 ruling in Chevron v. NRDC says that in those situations, often murky, courts should rely on the experts at the Environmental Protection Agency and other agencies to fill in the gaps. The opinion by Justice John Paul Stevens has been cited more than 15,000 times. Gorsuch is part of a growing conservative legal movement that questions the idea that judges should essentially step aside and let the agencies have their way. He has written favorably about a big change in the law that would give judges more power and potentially make it harder to sustain governmental regulations."

Republican nazis will use this as an excuse to gut regulations designed to reduce pollution. To line the pockets of their corporate masters, who in turn, line theirs. Republican nazis on the bench see this as a way to grant their corporate masters carte blanche to do as they please:

"Writing in a case involving immigration law last year, Gorsuch noted that court decisions “permit executive bureaucracies to swallow huge amounts of core judicial and legislative power and concentrate federal power in a way that seems more than a little difficult to square with the Constitution of the framers’ design. The handwriting is clearly on the wall. Gorsuch, as most, if not all judges, allow personal beliefs and ideology to dictate their actions in court. Not-so-cleverly designed to excuse their behavior on the bench. Further evidence of this? Get this:

"That view seemed to pick up support from Justice Samuel Alito when he spoke to a conservative group in Southern California in early February. Alito pointed to “a massive shift of lawmaking from the elected representatives of the people to unelected bureaucrats” that is a product of the high court’s willingness to give regulators wide latitude."

Convenient bastardization of the law, evisceration of whatever little 'impartiality' remains by the Alito nazi and others. To impose their ideological and religious views from the bench. Then lie to both themselves and the public. Falsely claim impartiality that does not exist. Just the illusion. Yet, another reason why an unwanted dreaded second American revolution catastrophically looms on the horizon. In a country, deeply divided. Hear the rumble?

In follow up to the above, confirmation hearings for the Republican Gorsuch nazi have begun. While he'll likely be rammed through by GOP fascists, Gorsuch will equally likely be questioned about the following allegation. NPR reports:

"A former law student of Judge Neil Gorsuch, President Trump's nominee for the U.S. Supreme Court, alleges that in a course she took from Gorsuch at the University of Colorado Law School last year, the judge told his class that employers, specifically law firms, should ask women seeking jobs about their plans for having children and implied that women manipulate companies starting in the interview stage to extract maternity benefits."

If true, no more than blatant misogyny by this Republican national socialist. Likely a portend of things to come as he legislates his ideological and religious views from the bench if confirmed to the Supreme Court.

"The concerns were shared in a letter, posted Sunday evening by the National Employment Lawyers Association and the National Women's Law Center, written by Jennifer Sisk, a 2016 graduate of the University of Colorado Law School. It was sent on Friday to the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, and Ranking Member Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif."

Likely won't make much difference since Republican nazis in the Senate are quite intent on ramming this nomination through. The following should raise a few eyebrows among gutless Democrats:

"On April 19, 2016, Sisk wrote, Judge Gorsuch used a hypothetical from the prepared material for the class, in which a female law student applies for jobs at law firms because the student has a large debt to pay off. The student also intends to have a family with her husband. "He interrupted our class discussion to ask students how many of us knew women who used their companies for maternity benefits, who used their companies to — in order to have a baby and then leave right away," Sisk said. She recalled that few students raised their hands and Gorsuch became animated. "He said, 'Come on, guys. All of your hands should be up. Many women do this,'" Sisk said."

How the Gorsuch nazi responds to the above during confirmation hearings should provide some semblance of his approach to other issues such as abortion rights. Being the Republican national socialist he certainly has a track record of being, however, this crafty piece of crap will likely do all he can to avoid answering pointed questions. Using the excuse he may have to rule on these issues from the bench. Indeed, a Catch-22 to avoid confirming he is indeed the misogynist nazi he appears to be, at least from his earlier rulings on the bench.

"Amid allegations by a former student who said judge taught his ethics class that "many" women manipulate employers for maternity benefits, Illinois Democrat Sen. Dick Durbin asked him to respond. Gorsuch insisted that he often spoke to his classes about inappropriate family planning questions that women are commonly asked in job interviews and was not implying such questions were acceptable. He said he was asking students whether they had been asked such "inappropriate" questions and to consider the array of difficult answers, not whether those answers amounted to a manipulation of the system."

"When it comes to religious liberties and access to contraception, Gorsuch is a defender of the First Amendment's free exercise clause, which reads, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof." He has sided with Christian employers and religious organizations in the Burwell v. Hobby Lobby and Little Sisters of the Poor cases, in which the plaintiffs argued for an exemption from the contraception mandate in President Obama's signature health care legislation, the Affordable Care Act, citing their religious beliefs. In the Hobby Lobby case, Gorsuch wrote, "The ACA's mandate requires them to violate their religious faith by forcing them to lend an impermissible degree of assistance to conduct their religion teaches to be gravely wrong."

The Gorsuch nazi clearly doesn't seem to understand providing healthcare is not a right but a privilege. If your religious views interfere, do what's honorable. Get out of the business. What Gorsuch is in effect promulgating is the right of these businesses and providers to impose their goddamned perverse religious and ideological views on those they are supposedly serving. In direct violation of the First Amendment Establishment Clause, church-state separation, that is freedom from religion.

“Sitting here, I’m acutely aware of my own imperfections, but I pledge to you and the American people that if I’m confirmed, I will do all my powers permit to be a faithful servant of the laws of this great nation.”

Achingly empty, hollow rhetoric. Unadulterated bullshit. Forget? This GOP national socialist disingenuously claims judicial kinship to the late, not-so-great Antonin "Tony Boy" Scalia. Scalia routinely legislated his outrageously perverse ideological and religious views from the bench. "Strict constructionism."

That is, this fascist son of a bitch will interpret the Constitution and body of law as narrowly as possible. To make it exponentially easier to impose his rigid, narrow minded ideological and religious views on all. The Scalia nazi was indeed a most clever master of such deceit. Incredibly smooth, affable, but incredibly gifted at taking a raucous hard dump on liberty.

Must never be forgotten, a fascist perceives in terms of black or white, no shades of gray. Certainly, no brilliant hues of color. Remains too narrow minded, rigid in mind set. Like Scalia, Gorsuch has the remarkable quality of being able to stick it to the masses, line the pockets of his corporate masters, and most importantly, take a raucous hard dump on liberty.

-- While eviscerating civil and constitutional rights and liberties in a deceptively affable manner. So slick, the masses have no clue they've been hard-f--ked in the ass. Without the K-Y.

He noted that the first case of his which made it to the Supreme Court -- which the Court upheld 5-4 -- paired Justices Thomas and Sotomayor on one side and Justices Scalia and Stevens on the other, despite the seemingly strange ideological pairings involved. “Actually it’s exactly the sort of thing that happens, quietly, day in and day out in the United States Supreme Court and in courts across the country,” he said."

That may be true on non-partisan issues. Not so on major rulings, which usually remain 5-4 in favor of the majority Republican fascists on the bench.

"Vermont Sen. Patrick Leahy grilled Judge Gorsuch on the matter of travel bans, referring to both the president's campaign promises to fully ban all Muslims from entering the U.S. and the two executive orders the president signed banning certain refugees and individuals from several Muslim-majority nations."

The national socialist Republican refused to clear the air, gutlessly declined to respond:

"Gorsuch declined to comment as it resembled cases currently being heard in federal courts across the country, but the longtime Democratic senator pressed on and asked about the issue repeatedly. "Is a blanket religious test, is that consistent with the First Amendment?" Leahy asked again. "We have a free exercise clause, which protects the free exercise of religious liberties by all persons in this country," he said. "If you're asking how I would apply it to a specific case, I can't talk about that for obvious reasons."

A goddamned convenient excuse to hide his judicial bias. -- The fact he will, like all other jurists, legislate his religious and ideological views from the bench. Both extremes are guilty of this. Not only nazi Republicans, but Democrats as well. Impartiality is a myth. A ruse used by both extremes.

"Gorsuch deflected repeatedly, but became heated when insisting that any ruling from his bench would be just. "Anyone, any law is going to get a fair square deal with me," he said. "My job is to treat every litigant as I would wish to be treated."

We're supposed to believe this bullshit, Mr. Gorsuch? Take your word for it? While many, if not most, of your rulings indicate otherwise? That you remain a Republican partisan despite your claims to the contrary? Conveniently, forget? The Trump nazi would never have nominated you otherwise.

"Asked again if he believed the president's national security directives were subject to judicial review, as the president has complained of previously, and Gorsuch answered simply: "No man is above the law."

Is that right? The Trump nazi has repeatedly lied day to day not only from the start of his campaign, but throughout his 'presidency.' Worse? Repeatedly taken a hard dump on the Constitution. With little legal consequence to date as the wheels of justice move at a snail's pace, -- if at all.

"Gorsuch, for instance, has never ruled directly on an abortion question, but he has ruled on questions involving contraception and public funding for Planned Parenthood — unrelated to abortion. And in none of these cases has he sided with advocates of birth control or abortion rights."

Seems to contradict the Republican fascist's claim that Roe is indeed settled law.

In testimony before Congress, the FBI Director was finally grilled about the Trump nazi's unsubstantiated Obama wiretap allegations. Fox News reports:

"FBI Director James Comey, in an extraordinary House hearing meant to clear the air on a host of allegations relating to the 2016 campaign, confirmed publicly for the first time Monday that the bureau is probing Russian meddling in the race including possible “links” to the Trump team – while disputing the president’s claim that his predecessor wiretapped him."

Quite unusual for the FBI and DOJ to comment on an open, ongoing investigation:

“I have been authorized by the Department of Justice to confirm that the FBI, as part of our counterintelligence mission, is investigating the Russian government’s efforts to interfere in the 2016 presidential election,” Comey said. “That includes investigating the nature of any links between individuals associated with the Trump campaign and the Russian government, and whether there was any coordination between the campaign and Russia’s efforts.”

Fascinating, isn't it? Apparently, both agencies are enduring intense public pressure, feeling the heat generated by public dissatisfaction with the Trump nazi and his henchmen.

"He added that this probe will “include an assessment of whether any crimes were committed.”

Should go without saying, shouldn't it? Think the Director can be trusted at his word?

"Meanwhile, Comey used his appearance to effectively knock down a series of allegations Trump tweeted earlier this month about supposed wiretapping conducted against him by his predecessor. “I have no information that supports those tweets, and we have looked carefully inside the FBI,” Comey said, adding that the same is true for the Department of Justice."

At least, the judiciary is beginning to stand up to the jackbooted nazi bastards in ICE. CNN reports:

"California's chief justice is "deeply concerned" after reports that "immigration agents appear to be stalking undocumented immigrants in our courthouses to make arrests." The chief justice of California's Supreme Court, Tani Gorre Cantil-Sakauye, requested that federal agents stop conducting actions in the state's courthouses. "Courthouses should not be used as bait in the necessary enforcement of our country's immigration laws," she wrote Thursday to Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly. "Enforcement policies that include stalking courthouses and arresting undocumented immigrants, the vast majority of whom pose no risk to public safety, are neither safe nor fair," she added."

Think of all the contractors stiffed, students looted at Trump 'University,' financial misappropriation at the Trump Foundation, all the bankruptcies etc. that wound up paying for the Trump nazi's Shangri-La in Florida. Wouldn't want to confuse Republican nazis with the truth, would we?

"Trump's opulent Mar-a-Lago is an estate that Marie Antoinette would have felt right at home in. It boasts 16th century Flemish tapestries, lavish oriental rugs and a Louis XIV-style ballroom added by Trump that includes $7 million in gold leaf on the walls."

"Now if Trump were simply spending his weekends at Mar-a-Lago on his own dime, that would be one thing. But he's not. You, I and every other taxpayer are the ones paying for the five trips Trump has taken there since being sworn in as President. "What's the cost? Politico has estimated that we pay $3 million each weekend that Trump travels to his palatial country club. That means Trump's five getaways have cost taxpayers in the neighborhood of $15 million for expenses associated with Secret Service, Air Force One, etc. And that doesn't even include the nearly $1 million in local tax dollars spent by the Palm Beach County Sheriff's office to protect Trump when he stays at Mar-a-Lago."

Wouldn't want to deny the Trump nazi, his family, most loyal henchmen their 'due,' would we? LOL. ... While the rest of us mere mortals struggle just to get by day to day. LOL. Republicans need to concern themselves should their plan be enacted, there will be blowback from their constituents as premiums rise, co-pays increase, and millions lose coverage. Hard to believe Republicans did not have the patience to wait for the imminent failure of Obamacare. Now, the dopey bastards will own the fiasco.

Second, a Republican Trump nazi shill has thrown up a smoke screen vis a vis the unsubstantiated Obama wire-tap claim. CBS News reports:

"House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes revealed Wednesday that it’s possible that President Trump’s personal communications might have been picked up by the intelligence community through “incidental collection.” Speaking to reporters on Capitol Hill, the California Republican said that he learned of “significant developments” that he’s now “alarmed” by since his panel heard testimony Monday from FBI Director James Comey and National Security Agency Director Admiral Mike Rogers."

Nunes reportedly shared this information allegedly only with the Trump nazi, refused to disclose details to Democrats on his committee. More on both issues in the next edition.

The exact same messaging, other than IP addresses, is the same on the wink
and t15 FTP servers. This hacking attack apparently occurred the day
after Wells Fargo closed two accounts because I publicly accused them of
criminal activity. Your company needs to look into this matter. Get these
FTP servers up and running again. A criminal complaint will be filed with
the U.S. Attorney regarding all the ongoing criminal activity by Wells
Fargo, now extended to hacking and undue interference with the webhosts.
Has 2freehosting been bribed and/or pressured by Wells Fargo? Certainly,
one of numerous questions to be forwarded to criminal prosecutors.

All three Liberty In Peril FTP servers are down and apparently have been
hacked. The three websites, however, remain up and running at time of
writing. That is, libertyinperil.twomini.com, libertyinperil.wink.ws, and
libertyinperil.t15.org are accessible and running. Only FTP access has
been effected making it impossible to upload. This hacking attack

Welcome. Liberty In Peril has been relaunched at a new URL:
libertyinperil.com. This is a new commercial site hosted in an overseas
country, which unlike our own, does value free speech, Net security,
privacy, equally importantly, despises hackers. Banks too big to fail
should not have the ability to shut down ftp servers on four Liberty In
Peril websites, making upload impossible. -- Simply, because they don't
want the truth of their criminal activity reported to the public.

Should this site not be kept up, running, and fully operational, the
libertyinperil.com domain will be quickly moved to a different host
despite cost and hassle. No more bullsh-t. Criminal complaints will be
prepared and filed against Amanda Wright, Lynn Massey, and the equally
criminal bastards in the Wells Fargo corporate management suite for
egregious deceptive trade practices.

Email notification of local businesses of these practices, has and will,
continue unabated until Wells Fargo accepts responsibility, ceases these
practices, and finally makes it right. During the last several weeks
after the ftp servers were hacked, a blizzard of these emails was sent to
local businesses to keep intense pressure on the criminal bastards at
Wells Fargo. Copies of these emails were sent to bank officials. They
have been posted in this publication. ... We're already up to Salvo 74, --
and counting.

In addition, all new Newsletter Editions will feature an
available abbreviated version, smart phone friendly, that can be accessed
by clicking on the icon. Will supplement the regular format of this
publication. This is being done because so many of you access this
publication with smart phones and other devices with small screens.

This site has finally been fully uploaded. All links appear to be
properly working. Typos in the rush to get material up have also been
corrected. There will be a few additional changes to be made as time
allows. Including, again, a smart phone-friendly abbreviated version of
each future Newsletter Edition starting with v434 that will be available
in addition to the regular edition.

Hopefully, now, I can finally get back to the business of this
publication, that is exposure of corrupt, abusive, inept, clueless
government lackeys beholden to their corporate masters, rather than
dealing with recalcitrant webhosts. We'll see. With the
libertyinperil.com domain, however, any necessary changes in webhosts will
be easy to make since all links won't have to be changed or deactivated.

The pressure on Wells Fargo will continue unabated. Should they further
interfere with operation of this publication, it will simply provide
additional fodder for criminal complaints to be filed against them.

On 9-22-15, Kingsland Wells Fargo Store Manager Amanda Wright forced
closure of two accounts because for nearly three years this writer has
publicly accused her, her predecessor Lynn Massey, and the Wells Fargo
corporate management suite of engaging in criminal deceptive trade
practices, as well as pressuring, unduly interfering and/or bribing
webhosts to take these websites down.

Apparently, they have successfully managed to unduly influence and/or
bribe the federal Consumer Financial 'Protection' Bureau and Texas
Attorney General Consumer Protection Division as well. Forget? The bank
is considered too big to fail. Considers itself government.

For all practical purposes, that's perversely true. They have money and
resources to buy not only their human chattel, but their bought and paid
for government lackeys. Be interesting to see whether or not the U.S.
Attorney is untouchable, or sadly, similarly capable of being bought.

Immediately after closure of these accounts, the three operational Liberty
In Peril FTP servers were hacked. What that means is that while all three
sites remained operational and accessible to readers, new material could
not be uploaded. This continues to date.

Worse, 'free' accounts on all three 'free' webhosts conveniently no longer
provide technical control panel support. Clearly, they don't want to know
there are problems. Have managed, however, to find other ways to contact
webhost management and have done precisely that.

Will take a criminal investigation to determine who hacked the sites,
however. Most likely, Wells Fargo had a hand in it. Certainly, have the
resources. Highly, unlikely the Llano County Sheriff's Office was
involved. Hard to believe they would be that stupid. The Bank, however,
has nothing to lose. Owns its government lackeys. The Sheriff and his
outrageously corrupt and abusive goons, however, can expect further

The effort to expose Wells Fargo egregious deceptive trade practices continues. Several years ago to determinedly apply renewed pressure on our truly worthless, egregiously self-serving Texas Attorney General, now Governor, an excoriating email was sent to the bastard. Copies of which were also passed on to both offending Wells Fargo officers. A copy was also sent to the Davis campaign and others at the time.

Voters did have a right to know as Attorney General, the GOP candidate for Governor apparently selectively investigated, or not, bona fide complaints filed by citizens against banks too big to fail. Possibly, Wells Fargo could have lined his pockets in some fashion. That has yet to be determined.

The bastard and his office, no matter what, failed to respond to the complaint originally snail mailed several years ago. This material, figuratively targeting Wells Fargo and the governor 'wannabe' now Governor, had been posted and can be found by scrolling all the way down and clicking on the links well below. ... Governor? Wells Fargo bribe you to look the other way?

Will continue to do all I can to publicly expose this to all, both in this publication and elsewhere. Have done precisely that with the following email sent to AMDT Drug Testing Marble Falls, TX. A copy of it was also sent to Wells Fargo officer Amanda Wright. She has, indeed, been promoted to branch manager. Reverse Darwinism. Survival of the unfittest.

This young woman has indeed been rewarded by the Wells Fargo corporate management suite for engaging in criminal deceptive trade practices and her undying loyalty to her corporate masters. The name of this publication was changed some ten years ago from The Llano Ledger to Liberty In Peril. The reason? Simple. Cowardly failure of this community to stand up to tyranny that has only exponentially worsened the last decade. Clearly, demonstrated as well by the cowardly failure of businesses to financially support this publication. Either through advertising or other financial support. Too afraid doing so would enrage the bastards who run and own this hellhole County.

-- Despite the fact these businesses were, and are, being egregiously f--ked by these very same bastards. Tough, isn't it? Impossible to entertain any sympathy for cowardice, however. Especially in view of the fact this writer has placed himself in great jeopardy taking on these corrupt, abusive, inept criminal bastards. Alone.

Exactly, why you see no investigative material highly critical of these sons of bitches in other local rags. Sadly, cowardly, all advertising income immediately dries up. Consequently, the bastards continue their criminal chicanery with impunity. On a rampage. Thus, you get what you truly deserve. Always. Precisely, why this earlier name change to Liberty In Peril remains appropriate. -- Despite the fact this writer has not yet left the area. Ten years after originally intending to do so. Thirty years in this goddamned godforsaken hellhole.

This writer, then and now, remains primarily interested in state, federal, and international issues. Another reason for this publication name change. Despite the fact I stupidly cluelessly remain here, local issues must be addressed. Can't be ignored. That's where you come in dear readers. Have the courage to inform this writer of local abuse, corruption, ineptness you are aware of, have personally experienced.

... Information these criminal bastards do all they can to conceal, cover up. Otherwise, how can they effectively sustain the charade and intended result? Loot confiscation through a boot heel on the throat of the citizenry.

The only way, short of an unwanted dreaded second American revolution, to force badly-needed change is to expose all this to the light of day. These bastards are beginning to understand they have a problem. No question, the growing rage of those they've abused, looted, egregiously f--ked. It's time to stand up. Expose this corruption to glaring sunlight. Otherwise, as fools, cowards, you will remain under their thumb. From the loftiest business owner to those on the bottom of the food chain. Wake up. Grow a pair.

Still don't think that likely to happen. After all, you're bought and paid for. Owned. Not only by your government masters, but their masters. The corporate management suite. Your employers. Think not? Wake up. You're human chattel. Corporate-owned, bought and paid for. Precisely, why you cowardly, compliantly, literally bare your asses for corporate inspection by the company doctor. Willingly, compliantly, cowardly piss in a cup under employer supervision. To sit in front of a keyboard or stock shelves all day. You have no control of your lives. You're owned. Forget? For a measly salary, no job security, reduced to no benefits. At a time of record corporate profits and cash reserves.

Then, you gallingly complain about the oppression as you tolerate egregious theft of your labor. Not only by your corporate masters, but their bought and paid for government lackeys. Too cowardly to stand up, allow disclosure of your identity when you rightfully complain to this publication of being mercilessly f--ked. Some of you falsely arrested, criminally assaulted, bogusly fined for 'offenses' you did not commit. To line County coffers. Keep the peasants in line and under control. A fascist police-state. Nazi America.

Again, yet another reason why this publication is called Liberty In Peril. Most galling? Nothing changes if you fail to step up and challenge corrupt, abusive, inept authority. Too afraid, cowardly compliant to let the bastards know who you are. Did it ever occur to the cowards out there if the identity of the accuser is kept under wraps the bastards will falsely claim it's all made up by this publication? Thus, conveniently killing all credibility. Wake up.

Cowardice is unbecoming, unworthy of our formerly great country. Insult to injury? There are the hopelessly deranged who believe the chicanery reported here to be manufactured anyway. No matter the effort. No matter the research. No matter the proof. Wake up. This writer cannot do it alone. Snowball's chance in hell. Then again, cowardice, delusion is always amply, justly rewarded. Always. You continue to 'enjoy' the very best government money can buy. Literally.

Cannot do it alone. Impossible. Not sustainable. This publication needs your financial and material support. Both. Time to step up.

Click herefor a most interesting conversation between JP2 Linda Ballard and LCRA Communications Supervisor Mitch Hibbs who at the time was investigating a complaint made by the Henderson family against the 'judge.' The recording had been made by Hibbs and provided by Phyllis Henderson who had gotten it through an open records request. During the course of the recording you will hear the 'judge' make a terroristic threat against the Henderson family which the investigator laughingly shrugged off as a joke.

Seems former LCRA Ranger Lance Bilski, stepson of Llano County Sheriff Bill Blackburn, had been harassing the Henderson family regarding their tire business, Henderson Tire. Worse? There are unsubstantiated allegations, that although very much attached, Bilski may have indeed engaged in improprieties, that is, egregiously unprofessional conduct relevant to the Henderson complaint. All this had been covered in Newsletter Text V346.
