Whenever a cop does something heroic, and/or of exceptional benefit to the community, it always leads. Always. KSLA News reports:

"A Greenwood, LA woman's home was saved from possible severe damage Wednesday morning when a cop rolled by as soon as her house caught fire. It happened around 12:45 a.m. in the 8900 block of East Starwood Lane in Greenwood. According to police, the Greenwood police officer was patrolling the area when he noticed a woman in distress. He asked if she was okay and she said her house had just caught on fire. That's when the cop allegedly grabbed two fire extinguishers from his patrol unit and put the small fire out."

"A police officer helped two women whose vehicle burst into flames at the side of the road last week in Wadsworth, Ohio. Officers were called to reports of a vehicle driving erratically. Officer Cody Lamielle, who was on patrol, spotted the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. The driver, Darlene Richmond, of Copley, Ohio, told him she was having mechanical difficulties. Lamielle spotted smoke and flames coming from under the hood and was able to get the driver and her elderly mother to safety."

“It's a blessing I'm alive. I have an angel, and maybe I have two at this point. I know I could be dead right now and I don't want to be dead. I have too much to live for." Richmond told FOX8 that her 88-year-old mother, Helen Miller, who has Alzheimer’s, was in the passenger seat.

Wake up, Sheriff. Again, where is dashcam video of the killing of Jeffrey Gray Wise, 52, of Austin by DPS and the Llano County Sheriff's Office? Forty weeks, now. A goddamned disgrace. Why are you still sitting on this information? What are you hiding, Sheriff? What is the identity of the officers who killed Wise? Too gutless to release this information to the public that pays your salary and that of your goons? Reportedly, there were three officers involved in the shooting.

Who are they, Sheriff? Their past history? An ongoing investigation remains a lame bullshit excuse. How can you and your goons be trusted when you refuse to disclose information? Forty weeks. Especially, your egregious failure to disclose the identity of the officers who pulled the trigger. To cover your sorry ass, Sheriff? Those of your thugs? The people have a right to know what happened, how it went down. You don't understand that, Sheriff? Sadly, clearly, you answer to no one. Including taxpayers. Especially, taxpayers.

The Sheriff seems to have no clue the people who pay him and his goons are entitled to know whom is killing whom and why. This shit always seems to be swept under the carpet. Ignored. Would you believe the last time the Sheriff's Office happened to be 'audited' during the Garrett regime, reportedly, auditors couldn't figure out what went where and why? Yet, surprise, surprise. Worse, the standards imposed by sheriff's offices statewide with the exception of metropolitan counties are well below those of DPS and city police departments. Why? The public should understand Llano County authorities have it all sewn up. Did you know the Texas Attorney General does not have the authority to investigate and prosecute County authorities on his own? The District Attorney has to call for an investigation by the Texas Rangers. Then, the State can prosecute if it so chooses.

Consequently? Guess what? Nothing will happen. Nothing ever does. The goddamned corruption continues unabated until you, the public, pressure authorities. Interestingly, the former Sheriff and District Attorney were reportedly forced to retire after an outrageous scandal involving a drunk driving police officer from out of town. Including special treatment of the drunken son of a bitch that no other citizen caught doing the same would have been afforded. An honest, honorable Llano County Deputy suffered the consequences. Forget? Great officers do not last in this hell hole County. ... Right, Sheriff? TL? "Sonny Boy?" Madam County Attorney?

"Republican Rep. William Marsh says he sponsored the bill after learning about the case of Foad Afshar, a New Hampshire psychotherapist who was convicted last year of molesting an underage client during a session. Afshar denies the allegations. His supporters say the change is key to ensuring innocent people aren't convicted."

Does that, in effect, mean a rapist is given a free pass on the first offense if there is no corroboration?

"A student’s painting that divided members of Congress for its depiction of Ferguson, Missouri, has been removed from its Capitol Hill display, this time perhaps permanently."

"Several Republicans had complained about the painting, which shows a pig in a police uniform aiming a gun at a protester, and even took down the artwork temporarily. The lawmakers argued that the painting violated rules for a national student arts competition by showing subjects of contemporary political controversy or of a sensationalistic or gruesome nature."

GOP nazis clearly cannot grasp the fact the First Amendment guaranties the right of offensive speech. They seem to have conveniently forgotten 'acceptable' speech needs no protection.

"In August 2014, a white police officer shot and killed Michael Brown, an unarmed black teenager, in Ferguson, setting off weeks of protests. The architect of the Capitol informed lawmakers late Friday that the painting would be removed. On Tuesday, with House lawmakers back home for the week, the painting was gone."

"A man who Baltimore Police dubbed the city’s “number one trigger-puller” was accidentally set free Saturday, CBS Baltimore reported. Federal agents had to come in and search for the suspect."

What ever happened to states rights? LOL. Couldn't handle it themselves? Called in the cavalry? Equally pointedly, no one capable minding the store at the jail?

"Montana Barronette, who police considered extremely dangerous, was able to walk out of jail and he was a free man for more than 24 hours."

Again, how can this happen? Then again, there was an escape from the old Llano County Jail near the Courthouse years ago. Bed sheets were knotted together and an escape was made out a window. LOL. Raising the question, were jailers out to lunch? Sleeping on the job? LOL.

"Barronette is so infamous, the Baltimore Police Department dubbed him the “number one trigger-puller” in the past, saying he was possibly linked to 12 murders. “Barronette is very good at his craft, his craft is killing,” said Baltimore Police Commissioner Kevin Davis. On Saturday night, Barronette, thought to be a member of the notorious Black Guerrilla Family, was accidentally released from Central Booking."

No indication anyone was fired. Interesting, isn't it? The Feds, however, recaptured the bastard. Not only do Baltimore Police have a problem regarding murderous behavior on the job, now this.

Law enforcement has little to no clue as to how to handle the mentally ill. A problem all across this country. CBS News reports:

"The Cincinnati Enquirer reports that at least six of the 18 people killed by police in that city since 2010 have had a history of severe mental illness."

"The report is the latest in a series of investigations into police killings of the mentally ill nationwide. In June 2015, the Washington Post found that a quarter of the 462 people they identified as having been shot and killed by police across the country in the first six months of that year were “in the throes of mental or emotional crisis.” And later that year the Treatment Advocacy Center, a non-profit organization that aims to improve the lives of the mentally ill, issued a report saying that between 1980 and 2008, one-in-four fatal police encounters in the country involved someone with a severe mental illness."

This calls for far better training. Better educated officers who have an undergraduate degree in criminal justice, a masters in one of the social sciences, to say nothing of salaries starting at 100K. To ensure you have the best and brightest. Equally important? Far fewer officers would be needed.

The following case is appalling, highly indicative of a need for radical change in the criminal 'justice' system. CBS News reports:

"A federal lawsuit alleges that officers at an Ohio jail beat a homeless veteran so severely that he ended up in a coma for two months, now needs a wheelchair and is cognitively disabled."

"Joseph Guglielmo, 59, filed the civil rights suit against Montgomery County’s commissioners, its sheriff and six employees of the sheriff’s office, the Dayton Daily News reported."

"Sheriff Phil Plummer declined to comment on the allegations in the lawsuit."

"Guglielmo, who served in the Air Force as an operating room technician and suffered post-traumatic stress disorder, was living at a Dayton homeless shelter when he was arrested in January 2015 after a disagreement with shelter employees, according to the lawsuit."

This is how this nazi country, goddamned fascist police-state treats its veterans and the mentally ill.

"Guglielmo was booked into Montgomery County Jail and banged on his cell when a sheriff’s office employee was trying to call roll. Guglielmo claims that four corrections officers beat him in his cell and that two others who were outside did nothing to stop an employee from throwing Guglielmo against a concrete wall."

"The complaint alleges that some officers stood in the way of a surveillance camera so that the beating wouldn’t be captured on video."

“When people get booked into the Montgomery County Jail, the jailer is just supposed to keep them safe, no matter how much they’re yelling, or how disoriented they may be because of mental illness, the officers should not react with violence,” said Jennifer Branch, one of Guglielmo’s attorneys. “Instead, they should be providing the medical care.”

"Documents allege Guglielmo is now unable to take care of himself and currently lives at a nursing and rehabilitation facility."

Legislation desperately needs to be passed, signed into law guaranteeing lifetime care at taxpayer expense every goddamned time this kind of shit occurs.

A young black female officer sadly lost her life in Orlando recently. Took police some time to find her alleged killer. See his face after the arrest? Was severely beaten, so much so he had to be hospitalized. ABC News reports:

"Suspected cop killer Markeith Loyd -- who was caught Tuesday after a nine-day manhunt in Orlando, Florida -- cursed at the judge in a profanity-laced first appearance in court this morning. Loyd, who was wanted for allegedly killing Master Sgt. Debra Clayton of the Orlando Police Department this month, was in court today charged with killing his pregnant ex-girlfriend Sade Dixon in December. He told the judge he wants to represent himself in the court proceedings involving Dixon’s alleged murder. Loyd has not yet been charged in connection with Sgt. Clayton’s murder."

It is good they finally caught this son of a bitch. What is bad, horrendous, appalling is the jackbooted bastards in blue administered some street 'justice' before they hauled him in.

"Loyd appeared today with a bandage over his left eye, with his hands cuffed and with officers holding each of his arms."

"Loyd claimed he was beaten by police when authorities captured him as he tried to flee a home on Tuesday. "They done took my eye. Broke my nose, broke my jaw," Loyd said. "said I resisted, but I crawled out to the m--- f--- road. ... I didn't resist s---."

Police couldn’t tell the station whether Nieves was charged with a crime after the alleged December assault."

"These attempts to lessen the enthusiasm of the inauguration are shameful and wrong," Spicer said Saturday."

"However, crowd size experts told the New York Times they estimated Trump's audience at fewer than 200,000 people, and widely distributed side-by-side photographs showed the stark contrast between the comparatively sparse crowd for Trump's inauguration and the record-setting crowd for Obama's first."

"There were seven King James Bibles on a stack on the coffee table," Brinton said, recalling the conversion therapist's small office in an Orlando, Florida strip mall. Brinton said the so-called therapist used extreme and abusive techniques, including covering Brinton's hand in ice, wrapping it in conductive wires to apply heat, and even electroshock therapy, while forcing Brinton to look at images of men touching. Brinton said the therapist stopped the techniques when he showed Brinton images of men with women."

"Otherwise, federal agents must have a court order or arrest warrant signed by a judge for the jail to continue housing a person whose immigration status is in question."

Why the hell shouldn't they have a warrant? Who the hell is the State of Texas to do the federal government's dirty work? How often are border agents on fishing expeditions? Harassing innocent citizens on their immigration status? ... To get their cookies off abusing power?

should not have the ability to shut down ftp servers on four Liberty In
Peril websites, making upload impossible. -- Simply, because they don't
want the truth of their criminal activity reported to the public.

Should this site not be kept up, running, and fully operational, the
libertyinperil.com domain will be quickly moved to a different host
despite cost and hassle. No more bullsh-t. Criminal complaints will be

On 9-22-15, Kingsland Wells Fargo Store Manager Amanda Wright forced
closure of two accounts because for nearly three years this writer has
publicly accused her, her predecessor Lynn Massey, and the Wells Fargo
corporate management suite of engaging in criminal deceptive trade
practices, as well as pressuring, unduly interfering and/or bribing
webhosts to take these websites down.

Apparently, they have successfully managed to unduly influence and/or
bribe the federal Consumer Financial 'Protection' Bureau and Texas
Attorney General Consumer Protection Division as well. Forget? The bank
is considered too big to fail. Considers itself government.

For all practical purposes, that's perversely true. They have money and
resources to buy not only their human chattel, but their bought and paid
for government lackeys. Be interesting to see whether or not the U.S.
Attorney is untouchable, or sadly, similarly capable of being bought.

Immediately after closure of these accounts, the three operational Liberty
In Peril FTP servers were hacked. What that means is that while all three
sites remained operational and accessible to readers, new material could
not be uploaded. This continues to date.

Worse, 'free' accounts on all three 'free' webhosts conveniently no longer
provide technical control panel support. Clearly, they don't want to know
there are problems. Have managed, however, to find other ways to contact
webhost management and have done precisely that.

Will take a criminal investigation to determine who hacked the sites,
however. Most likely, Wells Fargo had a hand in it. Certainly, have the
resources. Highly, unlikely the Llano County Sheriff's Office was
involved. Hard to believe they would be that stupid. The Bank, however,
has nothing to lose. Owns its government lackeys. The Sheriff and his
outrageously corrupt and abusive goons, however, can expect further

The effort to expose Wells Fargo egregious deceptive trade practices continues. Several years ago to determinedly apply renewed pressure on our truly worthless, egregiously self-serving Texas Attorney General, now Governor, an excoriating email was sent to the bastard. Copies of which were also passed on to both offending Wells Fargo officers. A copy was also sent to the Davis campaign and others at the time.

Voters did have a right to know as Attorney General, the GOP candidate for Governor apparently selectively investigated, or not, bona fide complaints filed by citizens against banks too big to fail. Possibly, Wells Fargo could have lined his pockets in some fashion. That has yet to be determined.

The bastard and his office, no matter what, failed to respond to the complaint originally snail mailed several years ago. This material, figuratively targeting Wells Fargo and the governor 'wannabe' now Governor, had been posted and can be found by scrolling all the way down and clicking on the links well below. ... Governor? Wells Fargo bribe you to look the other way?

Will continue to do all I can to publicly expose this to all, both in this publication and elsewhere. Have done precisely that with the following email sent to Jay, Owner, Outdoor Living & Masonry. A copy of it was also sent to Wells Fargo officer Amanda Wright. She has, indeed, been promoted to branch manager. Reverse Darwinism. Survival of the unfittest.

This young woman has indeed been rewarded by the Wells Fargo corporate management suite for engaging in criminal deceptive trade practices and her undying loyalty to her corporate masters. The name of this publication was changed some ten years ago from The Llano Ledger to Liberty In Peril. The reason? Simple. Cowardly failure of this community to stand up to tyranny that has only exponentially worsened the last decade. Clearly, demonstrated as well by the cowardly failure of businesses to financially support this publication. Either through advertising or other financial support. Too afraid doing so would enrage the bastards who run and own this hellhole County.

-- Despite the fact these businesses were, and are, being egregiously f--ked by these very same bastards. Tough, isn't it? Impossible to entertain any sympathy for cowardice, however. Especially in view of the fact this writer has placed himself in great jeopardy taking on these corrupt, abusive, inept criminal bastards. Alone.

Exactly, why you see no investigative material highly critical of these sons of bitches in other local rags. Sadly, cowardly, all advertising income immediately dries up. Consequently, the bastards continue their criminal chicanery with impunity. On a rampage. Thus, you get what you truly deserve. Always. Precisely, why this earlier name change to Liberty In Peril remains appropriate. -- Despite the fact this writer has not yet left the area. Ten years after originally intending to do so. Thirty years in this goddamned godforsaken hellhole.

This writer, then and now, remains primarily interested in state, federal, and international issues. Another reason for this publication name change. Despite the fact I stupidly cluelessly remain here, local issues must be addressed. Can't be ignored. That's where you come in dear readers. Have the courage to inform this writer of local abuse, corruption, ineptness you are aware of, have personally experienced.

... Information these criminal bastards do all they can to conceal, cover up. Otherwise, how can they effectively sustain the charade and intended result? Loot confiscation through a boot heel on the throat of the citizenry.

The only way, short of an unwanted dreaded second American revolution, to force badly-needed change is to expose all this to the light of day. These bastards are beginning to understand they have a problem. No question, the growing rage of those they've abused, looted, egregiously f--ked. It's time to stand up. Expose this corruption to glaring sunlight. Otherwise, as fools, cowards, you will remain under their thumb. From the loftiest business owner to those on the bottom of the food chain. Wake up. Grow a pair.

Still don't think that likely to happen. After all, you're bought and paid for. Owned. Not only by your government masters, but their masters. The corporate management suite. Your employers. Think not? Wake up. You're human chattel. Corporate-owned, bought and paid for. Precisely, why you cowardly, compliantly, literally bare your asses for corporate inspection by the company doctor. Willingly, compliantly, cowardly piss in a cup under employer supervision. To sit in front of a keyboard or stock shelves all day. You have no control of your lives. You're owned. Forget? For a measly salary, no job security, reduced to no benefits. At a time of record corporate profits and cash reserves.

Then, you gallingly complain about the oppression as you tolerate egregious theft of your labor. Not only by your corporate masters, but their bought and paid for government lackeys. Too cowardly to stand up, allow disclosure of your identity when you rightfully complain to this publication of being mercilessly f--ked. Some of you falsely arrested, criminally assaulted, bogusly fined for 'offenses' you did not commit. To line County coffers. Keep the peasants in line and under control. A fascist police-state. Nazi America.

Again, yet another reason why this publication is called Liberty In Peril. Most galling? Nothing changes if you fail to step up and challenge corrupt, abusive, inept authority. Too afraid, cowardly compliant to let the bastards know who you are. Did it ever occur to the cowards out there if the identity of the accuser is kept under wraps the bastards will falsely claim it's all made up by this publication? Thus, conveniently killing all credibility. Wake up.

Cowardice is unbecoming, unworthy of our formerly great country. Insult to injury? There are the hopelessly deranged who believe the chicanery reported here to be manufactured anyway. No matter the effort. No matter the research. No matter the proof. Wake up. This writer cannot do it alone. Snowball's chance in hell. Then again, cowardice, delusion is always amply, justly rewarded. Always. You continue to 'enjoy' the very best government money can buy. Literally.

Cannot do it alone. Impossible. Not sustainable. This publication needs your financial and material support. Both. Time to step up.

Click herefor a most interesting conversation between JP2 Linda Ballard and LCRA Communications Supervisor Mitch Hibbs who at the time was investigating a complaint made by the Henderson family against the 'judge.' The recording had been made by Hibbs and provided by Phyllis Henderson who had gotten it through an open records request. During the course of the recording you will hear the 'judge' make a terroristic threat against the Henderson family which the investigator laughingly shrugged off as a joke.

Seems former LCRA Ranger Lance Bilski, stepson of Llano County Sheriff Bill Blackburn, had been harassing the Henderson family regarding their tire business, Henderson Tire. Worse? There are unsubstantiated allegations, that although very much attached, Bilski may have indeed engaged in improprieties, that is, egregiously unprofessional conduct relevant to the Henderson complaint. All this had been covered in Newsletter Text V346.
