Again, and as always, when law enforcement does something heroic and/or of exceptional benefit to the community, it leads. Always. This is yet another example of the community and great officers working together to do the right thing. WFSB 3 Connecticut Eyewitness News reports:

"A group of Connecticut police officers, and some others, teamed up over the weekend to help an elderly man reunite with his family."

Indeed, all involved went well beyond the call of duty, human decency. Quite an example for the rest of the country.

"On Friday night, at J & G Restaurant in East Granby, Cassie Rozanski, CT State Police Sgt. Karen Gabianelli, and a few others worked together to lend a hand to someone in need. It all started when Rozanski noticed an elderly man sitting at the bar, who appeared to be confused. “Apparently he was going to pick up his son at the airport and he had left from Simsbury going to Bradley, and he got lost and he stopped here,” Rozanski said."

This will continue to be an issue as our population ages. Precisely, why we need to look out for one another.

"The man told Rozanski his name was Bob and that he was 93 years old. He also admitted that he’s not supposed to drive at night. Rozanski didn’t know how to help, but noticed a group of state troopers eating dinner in the next room."

Encounter a similar situation? Law enforcement needs to be immediately contacted. They have the resources. Training, experience, etc..

"A woman came over, I think she may have worked in the bar, and said that there was an elderly gentleman in the bar” who needed help, Gabianelli said. So Gabianelli and Sgt. Todd Fettigan sprang into action. A customer took a photo of Bob and Sgt. Fettigan, who offered to buy his dinner and then took him to the airport, and even paged his son. The owner of J&G refused to take the troopers money, and he comped their meals, along with Bob’s."

"The troopers also made sure Bob’s son was behind the wheel for the drive home."

Yet, another heartwarming example of what policing should be. Happened on Thanksgiving. ABC News reports:

"A 911 dispatcher in the Florida Panhandle received an unusual -- albeit heartwarming -- call from young resident on Thanksgiving Day. "A little boy melted all the hearts in Walton County Sheriff's Office Communication Center today," read a post on Walton County Sheriff Michael A. Adkinson, Jr.'s Facebook page. According to the post, a boy named Billy called 911 Thursday afternoon "to invite WCSO staff/deputies to come eat Thanksgiving dinner with he and his family."

"With all the bad calls we take on a daily basis this one was a welcomed happy call that made all of us smile," said lead communications officer Monica Webster. Billy was paid "a special visit" by deputy Damon Byrd and deputy Aaron Ethridge, who gave him a sheriff’s badge. Even better? The deputies allowed him to sit in their patrol cars. The Facebook post concluded, "While we do not encourage this use of 911 ... we are so honored at the invitation. Thank you Billy for making all of our days here at WCSO. Love What Matters #LoveWhatMatters."

"A 46-year-old city police sergeant was shot Sunday night, around 7:30. Police say he was sitting in his patrol car at a red light on Hampton near Pernod, when 19-year-old George Bush III pulled up next to him and shot at him through the window. The sergeant was hit twice in the face. Police say he was able to radio for help and was rushed to the hospital. He was treated for his injuries overnight, and was released Monday morning."

"St. Louis City Police Sgt. Lake was shot twice in the face earlier this week and was released from the hospital a few days ago, but was at Guns 'N Hoses tonight to open the event and support his fellow officers. When introduced at the event, Sgt. Lake received a long standing ovation from those in attendance."

Sadly, idiots remain out there who simply can't think straight no matter the circumstances. Labeling them stupid wouldn't do them justice. "A Topeka employee at the fast food chain has been fired and is currently facing criminal charges after local law enforcement say the worker put mustard in an officer’s beverage."

"On Friday, an officer with the Topeka Police Dept. says he went through the McDonald’s drive-thru at the 2000 block of NW Topeka Blvd. The officer—who has not been named—said his drink tasted funny and lifted the lid to find what appeared to be mustard squired inside, reports 13 NEWS."

"Tom Dobski, the franchisee owner of the north Topeka McDonald's where the officer found mustard in his Dr. Pepper, says the company is "shocked by the isolated actions of a single employee." “All customers, including local law enforcement officers who protect and serve our communities, are always welcome at our restaurants,” Dobski said in a statement issued Monday. “We proudly support police officers and all divisions of first responders at our restaurants across northeast Kansas.”

Franchisee owners need to more carefully vet prospective employees. ... To the criminal idiots who do this kind of thing, think it does anything other than further deteriorate police-community relations?

Just had the opportunity to talk to a local Texas State Trooper who recently returned from rotation to the border. He confirmed the number of 'illegals' crossing increased dramatically recently as reported in the media. -- Although he didn't say, this is most likely due to the pending change in the Oval Office. Uncertainty of changes in policy that will likely occur. The Trooper also claimed the government is providing those deported with a resettlement stipend, the amount of which is dependent on where the deported individual is destined. Still trying to confirm this.

No question, Obama deported a record number during his regime. Be interesting to see what Trump does. He'll need one hell of a lot of money from Congress to deport the millions he plans to remove from our formerly great country, now no more than a goddamned fascist police-state. Think another Eisenhower "Operation Wetback" will be tolerated? Where not only Mexican nationals were rounded up and deported back in the early 50s, but also American citizens? ... Hear the rumble?

According to The Statesman, DPS officers are responsible for an enormous surge in tickets along the border:

"The number of citations rose 30 percent and warnings spiked 160 percent in Starr and Hidalgo Counties, while 21 percent fewer citations and 25 percent fewer warnings were issued elsewhere in the state."

Forget? The State had to justify expenditure of millions to redirect Troopers to the border. Think they're not trying to loot locals to pay for it? Worse? Months ago, the very same Trooper had informed this writer DPS was indeed going to ask the Legislature for a billion bucks to finance the issue. He was right. At the time, the Trooper also thought redirection of manpower to the border was causing other areas of the state to experience a drop in patrol coverage. The statistics reported in the last quote seem to confirm this. The Statesman reported:

"The analysis comes as the Department of Public Safety is preparing to ask the Texas Legislature for an unprecedented $1.1 billion in border security funding for the next two years."

Wake up, Sheriff. Again, where is dashcam video of the killing of Jeffrey Gray Wise, 52, of Austin by DPS and the Llano County Sheriff's Office? Thirty-three weeks, now. A goddamned disgrace. Why are you still sitting on this information? What are you hiding, Sheriff? What is the identity of the officers who killed Wise? Too gutless to release this information to the public that pays your salary and that of your goons? Reportedly, there were three officers involved in the shooting.

Who are they, Sheriff? Their past history? An ongoing investigation remains a lame bullshit excuse. How can you and your goons be trusted when you refuse to disclose information? Thirty-three weeks. Especially, your egregious failure to disclose the identity of the officers who pulled the trigger. To cover your sorry ass, Sheriff? Those of your thugs? The people have a right to know what happened, how it went down. You don't understand that, Sheriff? Sadly, clearly, you answer to no one. Including taxpayers. Especially, taxpayers.

It's time the public be fully informed. -- Know what we're dealing with here and how 'law' 'enforcement' operates in this hell hole County. The Sheriff seems to have no clue the people who pay him and his goons are entitled to know whom is killing whom and why. This shit always seems to be swept under the carpet. Ignored. The Texas Rangers have become rubber stamp to atrocities committed by law enforcement. This also has to change. No one is holding law enforcement accountable any longer. No one. Falsely ticket and arrest the innocent to line County coffers. Court fees charged continue to be horrendous. -- Aren't taxpayers already looted to pay these costs? Would you believe the last time the Sheriff's Office happened to be 'audited' during the Garrett regime, reportedly, auditors couldn't figure out what went where and why? Yet, surprise, surprise. Nothing was done. There has to be transparency. There is none. Why would these thieving bastards want any? ... Right, Sheriff? TL? How else could they so easily steal and loot with virtual impunity? The public has a right to know the histories of the Sheriff's goons. Clearly, the Sheriff doesn't think so. That is, where they came from. Why they left where they were. What is happening here is the Sheriff is using 'personnel matters' as a convenient excuse to deny the public access to the history of outrageously corrupt, abusive, inept officers who are no more than criminals themselves.

Worse, the standards imposed by sheriff's offices statewide with the exception of metropolitan counties are well below those of DPS and city police departments. Why? The public should understand Llano County authorities have it all sewn up. Did you know the Texas Attorney General does not have the authority to investigate and prosecute County authorities on his own? The District Attorney has to call for an investigation by the Texas Rangers. Then, the State can prosecute if it so chooses.

Consequently? Guess what? Nothing will happen. Nothing ever does. The goddamned corruption continues unabated until you, the public, pressure authorities. Precisely, why we all enjoy the 'best' government money can buy. Literally. Without question, the corrupt, abusive, inept sons of bitches are all bought and paid for. Interestingly, the former Sheriff and District Attorney were reportedly forced to retire after an outrageous scandal involving a drunk driving police officer from out of town. Including special treatment of the drunken son of a bitch that no other citizen caught doing the same would have been afforded. An honest, honorable Llano County Deputy suffered the consequences. Forget? Great officers do not last in this hell hole County. ... Right, Sheriff? TL? "Sonny Boy?" Madam County Attorney?

With all ongoing abuse in this goddamned County, one thing remains for damned sure. We're just getting started, Sheriff. The criminal bullshit and cover up regarding it continues unabated at Wells Fargo. CNN Money reports:

"Wells Fargo (WFC) customers have opened a class action lawsuit against the bank over the opening of unauthorized accounts in their names. But Wells Fargo is trying to derail that lawsuit. The bank on Wednesday asked the U.S. District Court in Utah, where the class action suit was filed, to force dozens of those customers to resolve their claims quietly in closed-door arbitration instead of open court."

This is the very same criminal bullshit this publication has accused these bastards of engaging in the last four years. Nothing changes. Ever. Four years ago, these pieces of shit engaged in deceptive trade practices. That is, the agreement signed on the computer to open an account was not the same as the written copy.

In the written one, account holders gave up the right to sue. Not so, in the actual agreement signed on the computer. It's called deceptive trade practices. Opioids are extremely dangerous, particularly new ones entering the country. Far stronger than heroin. A threat as well to drug dogs, their handlers, and police conducting investigations. NBC News reports:

country, which unlike our own, does value free speech, Net security,
privacy, equally importantly, despises hackers. Banks too big to fail
should not have the ability to shut down ftp servers on four Liberty In
Peril websites, making upload impossible. -- Simply, because they don't
want the truth of their criminal activity reported to the public.

Should this site not be kept up, running, and fully operational, the
libertyinperil.com domain will be quickly moved to a different host
despite cost and hassle. No more bullsh-t. Criminal complaints will be
prepared and filed against Amanda Wright, Lynn Massey, and the equally

Hopefully, now, I can finally get back to the business of this
publication, that is exposure of corrupt, abusive, inept, clueless

dealing with recalcitrant webhosts. We'll see. With the
libertyinperil.com domain, however, any necessary changes in webhosts will
be easy to make since all links won't have to be changed or deactivated.

The pressure on Wells Fargo will continue unabated. Should they further
interfere with operation of this publication, it will simply provide
additional fodder for criminal complaints to be filed against them.

On 9-22-15, Kingsland Wells Fargo Store Manager Amanda Wright forced
closure of two accounts because for nearly three years this writer has
publicly accused her, her predecessor Lynn Massey, and the Wells Fargo
corporate management suite of engaging in criminal deceptive trade
practices, as well as pressuring, unduly interfering and/or bribing
webhosts to take these websites down.

Apparently, they have successfully managed to unduly influence and/or
bribe the federal Consumer Financial 'Protection' Bureau and Texas
Attorney General Consumer Protection Division as well. Forget? The bank
is considered too big to fail. Considers itself government.

For all practical purposes, that's perversely true. They have money and
resources to buy not only their human chattel, but their bought and paid
for government lackeys. Be interesting to see whether or not the U.S.
Attorney is untouchable, or sadly, similarly capable of being bought.

Immediately after closure of these accounts, the three operational Liberty
In Peril FTP servers were hacked. What that means is that while all three
sites remained operational and accessible to readers, new material could
not be uploaded. This continues to date.

Worse, 'free' accounts on all three 'free' webhosts conveniently no longer
provide technical control panel support. Clearly, they don't want to know
there are problems. Have managed, however, to find other ways to contact
webhost management and have done precisely that.

Will take a criminal investigation to determine who hacked the sites,
however. Most likely, Wells Fargo had a hand in it. Certainly, have the
resources. Highly, unlikely the Llano County Sheriff's Office was
involved. Hard to believe they would be that stupid. The Bank, however,
has nothing to lose. Owns its government lackeys. The Sheriff and his

The effort to expose Wells Fargo egregious deceptive trade practices continues. Several years ago to determinedly apply renewed pressure on our truly worthless, egregiously self-serving Texas Attorney General, now Governor, an excoriating email was sent to the bastard. Voters did have a right to know as Attorney General, the GOP candidate for Governor apparently selectively investigated, or not, bona fide complaints filed by citizens against banks too big to fail. Possibly, Wells Fargo could have lined his pockets in some fashion. That has yet to be determined.

The bastard and his office, no matter what, failed to respond to the complaint originally snail mailed several years ago. A copy of it was also sent to Wells Fargo officer Amanda Wright. She has, indeed, been promoted to branch manager. Reverse Darwinism. Survival of the unfittest.

This young woman has indeed been rewarded by the Wells Fargo corporate management suite for engaging in criminal deceptive trade practices and her undying loyalty to her corporate masters. The name of this publication was changed some ten years ago from The Llano Ledger to Liberty In Peril. The reason? Simple. Cowardly failure of this community to stand up to tyranny that has only exponentially worsened the last decade. Clearly, demonstrated as well by the cowardly failure of businesses to financially support this publication. Either through advertising or other financial support. Too afraid doing so would enrage the bastards who run and own this hellhole County.

-- Despite the fact these businesses were, and are, being egregiously f--ked by these very same bastards. Tough, isn't it? Impossible to entertain any sympathy for cowardice, however. Especially in view of the fact this writer has placed himself in great jeopardy taking on these corrupt, abusive, inept criminal bastards. Alone.

Exactly, why you see no investigative material highly critical of these sons of bitches in other local rags. Sadly, cowardly, all advertising income immediately dries up. Consequently, the bastards continue their criminal chicanery with impunity. On a rampage. Thus, you get what you truly deserve. Always. Precisely, why this earlier name change to Liberty In Peril remains appropriate. -- Despite the fact this writer has not yet left the area. Ten years after originally intending to do so. Thirty years in this goddamned godforsaken hellhole.

This writer, then and now, remains primarily interested in state, federal, and international issues. Another reason for this publication name change. Despite the fact I stupidly cluelessly remain here, local issues mustbe addressed. Can't be ignored. That's where you come in dear readers. Have the courage to inform this writer of local abuse, corruption, ineptness you are aware of, have personally experienced.

... Information these criminal bastards do all they can to conceal, cover up. Otherwise, how can they effectively sustain the charade and intended result? Loot confiscation through a boot heel on the throat of the citizenry.

The only way, short of an unwanted dreaded second American revolution, to force badly-needed change is to expose all this to the light of day. These bastards are beginning to understand they have a problem. No question, the growing rage of those they've abused, looted, egregiously f--ked. It's time to stand up. Expose this corruption to glaring sunlight. Otherwise, as fools, cowards, you will remain under their thumb. From the loftiest business owner to those on the bottom of the food chain. Wake up. Grow a pair.

Still don't think that likely to happen. After all, you're bought and paid for. Owned. Not only by your government masters, but their masters. The corporate management suite. Your employers. Think not? Wake up. You're human chattel. Corporate-owned, bought and paid for. Precisely, why you cowardly, compliantly literally bare your asses for corporate inspection by the company doctor. Willingly, compliantly, cowardly piss in a cup under employer supervision. To sit in front of a keyboard or stock shelves all day. You have no control of your lives. You're owned. Forget? For a measly salary, no job security, reduced to no benefits. At a time of record corporate profits and cash reserves.

Then, you gallingly complain about the oppression as you tolerate egregious theft of your labor. Not only by your corporate masters, but their bought and paid for government lackeys. Too cowardly to stand up, allow disclosure of your identity when you rightfully complain to this publication of being mercilessly f--ked. Some of you falsely arrested, criminally assaulted, bogusly fined for 'offenses' you did not commit. To line County coffers. Keep the peasants in line and under control. A fascist police-state. Nazi America.

Again, yet another reason why this publication is called Liberty In Peril. Most galling? Nothing changes if you fail to step up and challenge corrupt, abusive, inept authority. Too afraid, cowardly compliant to let the bastards know who you are. Did it ever occur to the cowards out there if the identity of the accuser is kept under wraps the bastards will falsely claim it's all made up by this publication? Thus, conveniently killing all credibility. Wake up.

Cowardice is unbecoming, unworthy of our formerly great country. Insult to injury? There are the hopelessly deranged who believe the chicanery reported here to be manufactured anyway. No matter the effort. No matter the research. No matter the proof. Wake up. This writer cannot do it alone. Snowball's chance in hell. Then again, cowardice, delusion is always amply, justly rewarded. Always. You continue to 'enjoy' the very best government money can buy. Literally.

Cannot do it alone. Impossible. Not sustainable. This publication needs your financial and material support. Both. Time to step up.

Click herefor a most interesting conversation between JP2 Linda Ballard and LCRA Communications Supervisor Mitch Hibbs who at the time was investigating a complaint made by the Henderson family against the 'judge.' The recording had been made by Hibbs and provided by Phyllis Henderson who had gotten it through an open records request. During the course of the recording you will hear the 'judge' make a terroristic threat against the Henderson family which the investigator laughingly shrugged off as a joke.

Seems former LCRA Ranger Lance Bilski, stepson of Llano County Sheriff Bill Blackburn, had been harassing the Henderson family regarding their tire business, Henderson Tire. Worse? There are unsubstantiated allegations, that although very much attached, Bilski may have indeed engaged in improprieties, that is, egregiously unprofessional conduct relevant to the Henderson complaint. All this had been covered in Newsletter Text V346.
