With five running for Llano County Sheriff, came as no surprise there will be a runoff between incumbent Bill Blackburn and James Schilling, retired Llano City Police Chief.  What comes as a surprise, however, is the fact the people of Llano County remain so aggressively stupid and hopelessly ignorant they would even place Blackburn in the runoff.

Kingsland remains cash cow for Blackburn and his goons.  With such a large population base, comes as no surprise the Sheriff's Office would target Kingsland to line County coffers.  Indeed, it does.  Residents complain you don't have to have broken the law to be falsely ticketed and looted by Blackburn's out of control jackbooted thugs.

The same is certainly true of Buchanan Dam as well.  It's easy money.  Easy to loot.  With a population base that remains in poverty, where better to target defenseless victims to ticket?  They pay it off, know the system is rigged, that there is no justice.  Don't have the wherewithal to hire an attorney outside the County and challenge a bogus ticket in court.  Worse, the 'judges' remain in cahoots.  Realize they have to play the game to stay in office.  Justice?  What's that?  Non-existent in this goddamned hell hole County.

Again, as repeatedly stated in this publication, there is a desperate need for an independent audit of all County resources and offices.  More importantly, there is a desperate need for a totally independent federal agency whose only duty would be to investigate and prosecute corrupt, abusive, criminal officers.  Try them in a special court whose only duty would be to try these jackbooted thugs.

Moreover, there is a desperate need to revisit capital punishment statutes and extend them to criminal officers who murder on the job.  If the jackbooted bastards in law enforcement and their sick sycophant handlers in government aren't reined in, the unwanted dreaded second American revolution already catastrophically looming on the horizon could become reality.  Sadly, sooner rather than later.

Readers should understand this publication endorses no one for office.  You get to choose.  Not me.  Only the truth gets reported here.  What you do with that truth is up to you.  In light of this fact, the readership should understand approximately 15 years ago, this writer was in Llano pursuant to an open records request.

Upon thumbing, that is, hitchhiking, out of Llano that day, near city limits, this writer was harassed by two of Llano's not-so-finest.  Falsely, informed me thumbing was illegal within city limits.  A crock of sh-t.  I knew the law.  So did they, -- confirmed with a sh-t-eating grin on the faces of both jackbooted jackass bastards.  I immediately returned to the Llano Police Department and filed a complaint with the Chief.

The Chief at the time was James Schilling, -- the same guy currently in the runoff with Blackburn.  To his credit, Schilling made it right.  Informed me he would deal with the officers.  Emailed confirmation to me thumbing is indeed legal in Texas, as well as in the City of Llano.  The only restrictions were the hitchhiker had to be on the right of way, not the road.  In addition, it was legal on the ramps leading to interstate highways, but not on the interstates themselves.  All of which I already knew.  To his credit, was never harassed again by Llano Police during his tenure as Chief.

Take the above for what it's worth.  Happened a long, long time ago.  Yet, have to believe anyone would be better than the jackbooted thug still occupying the office.  ... And his goddamned out of control goons.  I know for a fact the jackbooted bastards are ticketing and arresting innocent citizens in Kingsland and Buchanan Dam to line County coffers.

Both communities are cash cows for the County.  Precisely, why outrageously corrupt and abusive jackbooted goons are overstating the crime problem in both communities.  To 'justify' looting the innocent.  Line the pockets of the corrupt and abusive bastards who falsely believe they run and own this hell hole County.  Nothing is ever as it seems to be, right, Sheriff?

Brother dearest.  ... Been awhile, hasn't it, Bro?  A little antsy?  Wondering when the next shoe is about to fall, that is, when you'll be fully exposed for the thieving son of a bitch you truly are?  Patience.  All in good time, good buddy.  When I'm damned good and ready.  Timing just right.  After all, a son of a bitch who's stolen his father's estate needs to be fully exposed publicly for whom and what he is, don't you think?  Indeed, a public service for your neighbors, professional associates, family, and friends, etc..

Conveniently, forget?  Others need to protect themselves against a fraud who masquerades as both a teacher and a counselor, no?  -- How the hell did you ever pass an MMPI some forty years ago to get hired?  You're not stable.  Have not been.  ... Must have really been pissed off at the old man to rip off an estate, no?  How much did you steal while he was alive and supposedly under your care?

How much did you bribe law enforcement to ignore a complaint I filed with them years before the old man died?  How much did you bribe the prosecutor to ignore a complaint filed with her several years ago?  How much?  Use the old man's money to bribe the bitch?  Her cohorts?  Your law enforcement shysters?  While there may indeed be no justice from a corrupt system, fortunately, I do have a way to publicly expose you for the goddamned thieving son of a bitch you truly are.

... Unlike our grandmother who scrubbed floors on her hands and knees during the Depression for peanuts, only to have what little she had stolen by her son, our uncle, another goddamned thieving son of a bitch just like you.  Remember how, surprise, surprise, there was no life insurance when our grandfather died?  Despite the fact our grandmother gave her thieving bastard son premium money year after goddamned year?  Only, as the thieving son of a bitch he truly was, to have pocketed it.  Again, just like you.

Remember when he booted her out of the house she had bought him when he had had enough of her?  -- Despite the fact he had lied and promised she could stay the rest of her life?  She had to climb two flights of stairs on an ulcerated leg to get to a bathroom he had never built for her at ground level as falsely promised.   Nothing ever happened to the thieving son of a bitch as far as justice was concerned.  Worse, he was never exposed publicly for the thieving son of a bitch he truly was.

Will be different for you, Bro.  While you've bought off authorities, you will be publicly exposed.  In great detail.  In good time.  When I'm damned good and ready.  When exposure will do the maximum figurative damage to your goddamned sordid reputation.  -- Just the truth, brother dearest, however.  Just the truth.

Irony of ironies?  When the thieving son of a bitch died, and our mother was finally informed he had passed, she cried for her brother, -- the bastard thief who stole from her mother.  Sad, isn't it?  Too bad she's not still alive to see you publicly exposed for the goddamned thieving son of a bitch you, yourself, truly are.  As was he.  Not in a court of law you've bought off, however.  Right here.

In good time.  Again, when I'm damned good and ready.  Employing the very same tactics used against Amanda Wright of Wells Fargo.  -- On steroids, however, since all dirty family laundry will be aired.  All of it.  No threat.  A promise.  Emails sent to your neighbors, friends, professional associates, businesses you deal with.  Although an enormous amount of work, all doable courtesy of the Internet.  Despite being some 1,800 miles away.  -- Small world, isn't it, Bro?  Enjoy the stolen loot, you son of a bitch.  Forget?  It's all you have.

Brother dearest.  Save all the check stubs from the old man's accounts?  Fraudulently sign any of them yourself?  Think this material couldn't be obtained from the banks either through discovery or a criminal investigation?  Still own the house on Condict Rd.?   Any other properties besides this one and the old man's you stole with the help of your shyster bastard?  Be interesting to see how far your assets extend and where.  Think all that information isn't accessible?  That I won't determinedly obtain it?

That not only an extensive Internet search will be conducted that will likely take months to complete?  But an extensive background check as well?  Think the Catholic high school you attended shouldn't be informed of the thievery of one of its graduates?  Think the clerics there would be appalled at their failure to teach you right from wrong?  How about both universities?  Think neighbors in the old man's neighborhood won't be informed of your deception?  Think they don't have a right to know?

Ever follow the advice of Dr. Bert Wiser, psychological statistics professor at MSU?  That is, get treatment for your achingly debilitating instability?  Is that why you wound up looting the old man?  Or, is it simply a convenient excuse you'll use to defend the indefensible?  Think this will end any time soon?  That is, public exposure of you as a thieving son of a bitch?  We're just getting started, Bro.  Just getting started.

Don't like it?  Tough shit.  Sue me you thieving son of a bitch.  Would use discovery to learn and post on this website all there is to know about you, your activities, predilections, business 'deals,' as well as all your financial transactions, etc..  All of it.  Would certainly avoid the expense of an extensive background check on you, thieving brother dearest.

Even if you were successful in court, there is nothing for you to take, this remains, as well, a homesteading state where minimal assets are protected anyway.  This site is hosted in an overseas country that doesn't particularly like government intrusion, remains not prone to cooperate.  Besides, can always upload to another webhost in still yet another country.  The possibilities are endless, Bro.  Just takes willingness, effort, unshakable determination.

Even if I lost it all would be more than worth it to expose you for the goddamned thieving son of a bitch you truly are.  Even if you bribed a goddamned nazi 'judge' to remove posted material, would not cooperate and be more than willing to rot in jail.  Would certainly keep reposting it all no matter the cost and/or personal consequences every time it was taken down.  Forget, you thieving son of a bitch?  I never ever give up.

Since all I seek is your exposure for the thief you truly are, would all be worth it.  For the sake of principle.  All the work, financial cost, as well as the time I am about to dedicate to this effort, you deceptive, unstable, sick, thieving son of a bitch.  Unlike you, I live on principle and have absolutely nothing to lose.  You do.  Will certainly take great pleasure and satisfaction in doing all I can to publicly expose you for whom and what you are.

To say nothing of placing enormous pressure on prosecutors you and your equally corrupt shyster son of a bitch apparently bribed.  Don't like it?  Again, tough shit. Chew harder.  The public needs to know to protect itself.  From you and your shyster bastard.  People who live and travel in your circles as well.  Including his.  As a thief, you and he can't be trusted by anyone.  You'll determinedly f--k them.

More than willing to provide this truly public service.  People certainly need to know whom and what you are.  What you have sadly become.  You certainly weren't brought up to be a thieving son of a bitch.  What happened?  Where did you lose yourself, Bro?  -- Never mind.  ... Truly doesn't matter.  Only your exposure.

If you were on an airliner about to land and the Captain came on the intercom to announce the following, what would you think?  How would you react?  CBS News reports:

"It was a packed flight the Tuesday morning after Labor Day as restless passengers filled the cabin with sounds of chatter minutes before the plane was scheduled to touch down in Detroit.  But when the captain made a special announcement on the intercom the plane quickly fell silent.  “We have the honor of bringing a fallen soldier home,” the captain began, explaining that an Honor Guard ceremony would take place as soon as the plane landed."

Passengers are usually in a rush to get off the plane.  Impatient.  Eager to depart.  Not so, this time:

"It was a moment passenger Ruth Malhotra said she would never forget, and she shared the touching moment with the world in a now viral Facebook post.  “Private First Class Curtis J. Wells, 19 years old, was reported Missing In Action in the early 1950’s while serving in the Korean War,” Malhotra recalled the captain announcing. “The Pentagon recently confirmed his remains were found in Korea, and we are returning them to his family for burial with full military honors.”

This man had been missing the better part of 70 years.  Now, he was finally home.

"The Atlanta, Georgia, native watched from her window seat at the very back of the plane as military escorts slowly carried a flag-draped casket off the aircraft.   “There was this feeling that we just witnessed something special and historic,” Malhotra told CBS News.  Passengers roared with applause to honor the fallen hero as soon as the service started."

As well as they should have.  This man gave his all.  So did his family.  The ultimate sacrifice.

"Ordinarily, passengers are rushing to deplane, quickly gathering their belongings so they can be one of the first to exit.   This time, everyone just stopped and stared in silence.  Some people were hugging each other, while others were sharing photos that they took of the moving moment.  Lately, Malhotra hasn’t seen much of a true display of patriotism in the country. But she said this event was “so authentic.”  “Witnessing such respect for a fallen hero and unity around the American flag on an airplane full of diverse people -- all coming and going in different directions, yet caught together in a moment of history -- is something I will never forget,” Malhotra said. “It was profoundly meaningful to watch an airplane full of strangers unite in this solemn yet unexpected moment, be vividly reminded that freedom is not free, and honor one who gave his life in past conflict so we could experience a future of liberty.”

This is precisely why I stand during the National Anthem.  To honor those that gave their all for our formerly great country.  Things must change.  Now.  Otherwise, the unwanted dreaded second American revolution already catastrophically looming on the horizon could become reality.

There are some truly great people out there.  Selfless.  Exceptionally caring.  Think not?  CBS News reports:

"Sabrina Drude was doing what many teachers do before the start of the school year -- shopping for supplies for her students -- when she noticed a man standing in line at Wal-Mart examining her items."

Amazing teachers have to do this at a time of record school taxes.  Used to be, a kid was supplied with everything he needed by the school itself.  At least, that was so back in the day when this writer was a kid.  The fellow Wal-Mart shopper asked her why she was buying the supplies:

"The teacher at Francis Scobee Middle School in San Antonio, Texas, explained that she teaches in a very low socioeconomic area where kids can’t always afford what their peers can.  Touched by the woman’s kind gesture, the man offered to pay for everything in the woman’s cart. She thanked him, but said she couldn’t accept his money."

Quite a gesture, no?  Doesn't end there, however.

"But when $97 flashed on the cash register, the man, later identified as Lester Brown, jumped between Drude and the cashier with a bill in his hand.  “He said, ‘Put your wallet away,’ and I just started crying,” Drude told CBS News. “That’s the sweetest thing I’ve ever heard.”

Indeed.

"Drude didn’t understand why someone would do something so sweet for a stranger.  “Because teachers don’t get the recognition that they deserve,” Drude recalled Brown telling her."

They don't.

"Throughout the year, Drude often spends money out of her own pocket to benefit kids in her class. The $250 tax deduction that teachers receive doesn’t even put a dent into what we put into our classrooms, Drude said.   “I teach in a very low socioeconomic area,” Drude explained. “Some of my kids can’t afford what their peers can. I don’t want them to have to deal with that embarrassment or them not even wanting to tell me.”

With school taxes as high as they are and growing, where is the money going?

"And Drude said she plans to tell her students about the man’s good deed.  “This is exactly the type of person I want to influence my kids to be,” said Drude, adding that she plans to ask Brown to join her class for a pizza party. “I want him to inspire my kids just like he inspired me; if any of my kids grew up to be half the man he is I’d be very proud.”

Indeed.  Yet, here in Llano County the rich have to be embarrassed into tossing pocket change into a tip jar.  -- At a high end shop.

NPR reports there are six myths about suicide parents and educators need to know:

Myth 1: Asking someone about suicide will cause him to become suicidal

Myth 2: Depression causes all suicides

Myth 3: We cannot really prevent suicides

Myth 4: Suicides always happen in an impulsive moment

Myth 5: Young children, ages 5 through 12, cannot be suicidal

Myth 6: When there has been a suicide, having a school assembly seems like a good idea

Wake up, Sheriff.  Again, where is dashcam video of the killing of Jeffrey Gray Wise, 52, of Austin by DPS and the Llano County Sheriff's Office?  Twenty-two weeks, now.  A goddamned disgrace.  Why are you still sitting on this information?  What are you hiding, Sheriff?  What is the identity of the officers who killed Wise?  Too gutless to release this information to the public that pays your salary and that of your goons?  Reportedly, there were three officers involved in the shooting.

Who are they, Sheriff?  Their past history?  An ongoing investigation remains a lame bullshit excuse.  How can you and your goons be trusted when you refuse to disclose information?  Twenty-two weeks.  Especially, your egregious failure to disclose the identity of the officers who pulled the trigger.  To cover your sorry ass, Sheriff?  Those of your thugs?  The people have a right to know what happened, how it went down.  You don't understand that, Sheriff?  Sadly, clearly, you answer to no one.  Including taxpayers.  Especially, taxpayers.

Until you and your goons come clean, doubt will remain this was indeed a good shoot.  The longer you drag your feet, the greater the doubt.  Think not?  Wake up.  Your credibility has tanked.  Isn't getting any better as this bullshit continues unabated.  Twenty-two weeks.   Still no identification of the officers involved  ... Can't get your stories straight?  In line?  Discrepancy between LCSO and DPS? Wake up, Sheriff.  The public no longer buys the bullshit.  No longer trusts you.  On this and many, many other issues.  You have no credibility.  Absolutely, none.

Readers, this is but one of about four other highly questionable killings by law enforcement in Llano County in the last decade or so.  There was one within the City of Llano, another in a field near Fuzzy's Corner, Buchanan Dam, yet another in Point Tella, Buchanan Dam, still another in Tow.  If there are any others I may have neglected to mention, kindly email.

It's time the public be fully informed.  -- Know what we're dealing with here and how 'law' 'enforcement' operates in this hell hole County.  If these jackbooted bastards are not reined in, the life lost could be yours courtesy of a law enforcement system that is no longer accountable to anyone.  ... Right, Sheriff?  TL?

The Sheriff seems to have no clue the people who pay him and his goons are entitled to know whom is killing whom and why.  This shit always seems to be swept under the carpet.  Ignored.  The attitude of these jackbooted sons of bitches is trust us.  They can't be.  They've lied too many times.  Refuse to be accountable to anyone.  We live in a goddamned fascist police-state where law enforcement does as it pleases.  Usually, with impunity.  That has to change.

The Texas Rangers have become rubber stamp to atrocities committed by law enforcement.  This also has to change.  No one is holding law enforcement accountable any longer.  No one.  No one in state or federal government.  This is precisely why Ferguson triggered such an uproar.  There was no justice there.  None here.  None anywhere.  Officers are abusive, corrupt, inept.

Falsely ticket and arrest the innocent to line County coffers.  Court fees charged continue to be horrendous.  -- Aren't taxpayers already looted to pay these costs?  Aren't you boys not only double f--king those falsely accused, but taxpayers also hellaciously looted to pay the very same costs?   Yet, the criminal bastards in power in Llano continue to pile on the fees.  This is nothing more than goddamned bullshit.  This money finds its way into the pockets of the corrupt and abusive bastards who falsely believe they run and own this hell hole.

Would you believe the last time the Sheriff's Office happened to be 'audited' during the Garrett regime, reportedly, auditors couldn't figure out what went where and why?  Yet, surprise, surprise.  Nothing was done.  There has to be transparency.  There is none.  Why would these thieving bastards want any?  ... Right, Sheriff?  TL?  How else could they so easily steal and loot with virtual impunity?  Worse, this reinforces jackbooted power in this goddamned, godforsaken hell hole County.

The public has a right to know the histories of the Sheriff's goons.  Clearly, the Sheriff doesn't think so.  That is, where they came from.  Why they left where they were.  What is happening here is the Sheriff is using 'personnel matters' as a convenient excuse to deny the public access to the history of outrageously corrupt, abusive, inept officers who are no more than criminals themselves.

He's protecting his outrageously corrupt, abusive, inept jackbooted bastards.  Worse, the standards imposed by sheriff's offices statewide with the exception of metropolitan counties are well below those of DPS and city police departments.  Why?  So the corruption, abuse, ineptness, and outright stealing can continue unabated?  This has to change.  ... Can't have that, can we?  Sheriff?  TL?

The public should understand Llano County authorities have it all sewn up.  Did you know the Texas Attorney General does not have the authority to investigate and prosecute County authorities on his own?  The District Attorney has to call for an investigation by the Texas Rangers.  Then, the State can prosecute if it so chooses.

Consequently?  Guess what?  Nothing will happen.  Nothing ever does.  The goddamned corruption continues unabated until you, the public, pressure authorities.  Precisely, why we all enjoy the 'best' government money can buy.  Literally.  Without question, the corrupt, abusive, inept sons of bitches are all bought and paid for.  Firmly clamped to the taxpayer tit.  Dependent on money looted from innocent citizens caught in their web.  Phony fines and court costs cleverly designed to f--k the innocent and enrich the pieces of shit who falsely believe they run and own Llano County.  Right, Sheriff?  TL?  "Sonny Boy?"  Madam County Attorney?

Interestingly, the former Sheriff and District Attorney were reportedly forced to retire after an outrageous scandal involving a drunk driving police officer from out of town.  Including special treatment of the drunken son of a bitch that no other citizen caught doing the same would have been afforded.  An honest, honorable Llano County Deputy suffered the consequences.  Forget?  Great officers do not last in this hell hole County.  ... Right, Sheriff?  TL?

With all ongoing abuse in this goddamned County, one thing remains for damned sure.  Blackburn and his goons will continue to be ferociously exposed in this publication for the jackbooted bastards they truly are.  We're just getting started, Sheriff.  Just getting started.  You will continue to be exposed for whom and what you and your corrupt, abusive, inept bastards truly are, that is, how you continue to f--k over a public you've falsely sworn to protect and defend.  -- Exposure, the only way short of an unwanted dreaded revolution to force desperately needed change in a goddamned fascist police-state. The Fourth Reich.

Have your jackbooted thugs been tested for steroids?  If you've nothing to hide, Bill, release the results of all drug testing.  'Personnel matters?'  Bullshit.  Looted taxpayers have the right to know.  They're footing the bill for all this goddamned corruption, abuse, ineptness.  When will you and the boys end the shakedowns?  Looting of the innocent to line County coffers?

Where are your swastika armbands, you fascist son of a bitch?  You and your thugs remain out of uniform.  Once again, Sheriff, and ad nauseum, did you and/or your goons pressure Schilling to exit the race?  Hopefully, an independent will run against you in November.  If not, the public gets what it deserves.  One of the most corrupt, abusive, inept 'law' 'enforcement' agencies in our formerly great country.

Further proof the corporate management suite is not held criminally accountable for its crimes?  NPR reports:

"Wells Fargo Bank has been ordered to pay $185 million in fines and penalties to settle what the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau calls "the widespread illegal practice of secretly opening unauthorized deposit and credit card accounts."

This story has been reported here and elsewhere.  The fine just levied amounts to a piss hole in the snow.  Why hasn't anyone been criminally prosecuted?

"Thousands of Wells Fargo employees opened the accounts in secret so they would get bonuses for hitting their sales targets, according to investigators. More than 2 million deposit and credit card accounts may have been created without customer authorization."

Again, this is old news.  Why hasn't anyone been prosecuted?  None of the employees involved.  Not one in the corporate management suite.  Why isn't the CEO's sorry ass in jail?

"The bank must pay $100 million to the CFPB — the largest fine ever levied by the federal consumer watchdog. It also will pay $50 million to the City and County of Los Angeles, along with a $35 million penalty to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency."

Think this justice? Ferociously pointedly:  For you goddamned fools here in Llano County who have been reading this publication for years vis a vis Wells Fargo egregious criminal deceptive trade practices and yet still do business with these criminals?  Your heads are so far up your hopelessly ignorant asses your eyeballs are turning inside out.  Aching, hopeless aggressive stupidity.

Hold up a convenience store?  You'll likely spend the rest of your life in prison.  Steal millions from bank account holders?  Get slapped on the wrist.  Nazi justice in Nazi America.  The Fourth Reich.

Insult to injury?  The fine is pocket change for Wells Fargo.  Get this.  The Washington Post reports:

"But the fines being levied against Wells Fargo pale in comparison to the bank's yearly profit -- more than $20 billion in 2015.

"It is also less than the more than $200 million that the stock  in the company held by company's chief executive, John G. Stumpf is worth. The fines also are not that much more than the $125 million one of its top executives, Carrie Tolstedt, will walk away with when she retires this year. A 27-year veteran of the bank, Tolstedt ran the community banking division where regulators said aggressive sales goals fueled illegal behavior by bank employees.

"Tolstedt’s team is a leader in building and deepening customer loyalty and team member engagement across the business, which today serves more than 20 million retail checking households and 3 million small business owners, and employs 94,000 team members," the company said in a statement last July announcing her retirement."

Clearly, no justice in Nazi America.  The Fourth Reich.  Fox News reports:

"Carrie Tolstedt, 56, announced her retirement in July, effective at the end of the year, and is set to receive $124.6 million via stock, options and restricted shares accrued during her 27 years at Wells Fargo, Fortune reported Monday. Tolstedt headed the infamous community banking unit where employees created unauthorized deposit accounts and credit accounts in an effort to meet sales goals. The dummy accounts charged individual customers up to $50 in fines for a service they never requested, The New York Daily News reported."

Do the same?  Think there wouldn't be any criminal consequences?  Why isn't Tolstedt's sorry ass in jail?  Why not?

"There are two possibilities: Customer abuse was part of business model, in which lots of high-ranking people need to go to prison," Bart Naylor, a financial policy advocate for Public Citizen, told The Washington Post. "Or the bank is too big to manage, and folks high up don’t even know that laws are being broken a few levels down."

You think?

"It’s unclear when Tolstedt became aware of the scam and she was not named in any Consumer Financial Protection Bureau paperwork. The fallout from the scandal resulted in the firing of 5,300 employees and a massive $185 million fine levied by various regulators."

Unbelievable, isn't it?  That is, the fact the Bureau failed to not only mention her, but hold her criminally responsible.  Think Wells Fargo money didn't find its way into the pockets of the Bureau?

“Those issues should have been caught sooner and dealt with more forcefully,” Mike Mayo, an analyst at CLSA Ltd., wrote Monday in a client note obtained by Bloomberg."

Again, think no one at the Bureau didn't have his or her pockets lined?

"But Tolstedt not only escaped getting axed, she was praised for her tenure at the company. In a July statement about her retirement, CEO John Stumpf hailed Tolstedt as “a standard-bearer of our culture” and “a champion for our customers,” The New York Post reported. Her decision to retire was “personal,” a Wells Fargo spokesperson said."

Again, this is nazi justice in a goddamned fascist police-state.  No accountability.  None whatsoever.  -- Whether it's Amanda S. Wright, Wells Fargo Store Manager, Kingsland, Texas, right up to and including Wells Fargo CEO John Stumpf.

In follow up to an earlier case covered here and elsewhere, KRON4.com reports:

"Alameda County District Attorney Nancy O’Malley announced Friday morning that seven officers are being charged in the sexual misconduct scandal plaguing Bay Area law enforcement agencies.  According to O’Malley, seven officers will be charged: a Contra Costa County Sheriff’s deputy, a former Livermore police officer, and five current and former Oakland police officers.  These are the first criminal charges announced in this sexual misconduct scandal."

They involve sex with a woman that started when she was a minor.

"The charges come after Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf announced that 12 Oakland police officers are being disciplined in the sex scandal.  Four Oakland police officers were fired and seven were suspended without pay, Schaaf said.  The 19-year-old woman at the center of the scandal, Celeste Guap, said she has had sex with about 30 law enforcement officials from various law enforcement agencies across the Bay Area. Four of the sexual encounters happened while she was a minor.  Oakland police said in May that an investigation into allegations that officers committed sexual misconduct with a minor began after an officer committed suicide."

Nothing will change until criminal officers are tried, convicted, imprisoned and/or executed.  Moreover, there is a desperate need to improve the vetting done before and after employment right up to termination or retirement.  Of equal importance, officers should be required to hold a bachelor's degree in criminal science and an advanced degree in the social sciences.  Starting pay should be $100K.

The law enforcement community would need far fewer officers if the level of professionalism, training, and education was exponentially increased.  Not only that, we'd have far better officers.  Less likely to abuse, shake down, brutalize, and murder on the job.  ... Right, Sheriff?  TL?  "Sonny Boy?"  Madam County Attorney?

In follow up to the above, here is a perfect example why the officer pool needs to be drastically improved.  CBS News reports:

"A Miami police officer has been relieved of duty without pay after a post about an 8-year-old’s killer appeared on his Facebook page, CBS Miami station WFOR-TV reports.  Andrew Mesa, a 10-year veteran with the Miami Police Department, shared on his page a passionate Facebook video post from a cousin of 8-year-old Jada Page, who was shot and killed last month."

Any officer has a right to express himself or herself.  This guy takes it well beyond the limit.  Implies violence.

“Share this post,” Spence says in the video. “Post up whatever you got to do. If you want to donate money to Crime Stoppers, talk.”  Mesa shared the video, along with some angry commentary toward communities that speak out about police use of deadly force.  Referring to Jada’s killer, he says in part, “What will happen if they force police to defend themselves and deadly force is the only option... Will you say their hands were up? Then come burn our city down? Will the lucky cop loose (sic) his job and get blasted on the media as a killer and face false murder charges?”  He ends his post using the hashtag #GoGetTheKillersYourSelves."

Can certainly understand why this officer is angry.  He takes it well beyond the limits, however, when he urges violence by the last hashtag above.  You can't do that.  Anyone else who had done this would have had his ass locked up in jail.  Why hasn't this officer been arrested?  Why the double standard?

He stupidly tarnishes the image of his department by falsely suggesting officers will be falsely arrested and charged with murder.  They hardly ever are charged, period.  For anything.  ... Anything, that would land the rest of in jail.  They're protected and coddled.  Held to no standard at all in most communities.  That seems to be changing after all the insurrection in the streets across our formerly great country the last couple of years.

Mesa is not qualified to be an officer.  Lacks the temperament and good judgment to effectively do his job.  Worse, he's an exigent threat to the public while on duty.  Needs to be permanently removed from police work.  License as a peace officer revoked for life.  Not only that, there needs to be a national database of officers who have lost their licenses.  Anyone on that list must be denied employment nationwide as a law enforcement officer.

The following is from the Senator's most recent newsletter:

"Sen. Cruz Issues Statement on the Passing of Phyllis Schlafly
"Sen. Cruz on Monday issued the following statement regarding the passing of conservative leader and founder of the Eagle Forum Phyllis Schlafly:

“Today, our nation and the conservative movement suffered a great loss with the passing of an extraordinary woman, Phyllis Schlafly.
“Few will ever match Phyllis’ conviction and tenacity. She stood, literally, on the front lines fighting against forces that threatened to upend families and sought to undermine the Judeo-Christian values upon which our great nation was founded.
“Phyllis Schlafly loved America. Her contributions to our country went far beyond her work exposing the illogic of liberalism: Phyllis led the charge to make the Republican Party pro-life and defended the sanctity of marriage. She was a passionate defender of U.S. sovereignty and championed Reagan’s policy of ‘peace through strength’ during a crucial time in American history.
“Heidi’s and my prayers are with her family during their time of mourning. May she rest in peace.”

There is no one who did more damage to the best interests of women than Phyllis Schlafly all these years.  She was indeed the very best example of a female misogynist.  She was indeed highly responsible for the failure of the Equal Rights Amendment.  She did all she could to deny women equal treatment in the work community.  Did all she could to ensure women were victimized by their employers.  Would remain second class citizens.

One interesting argument she used against the Equal Rights Amendment was the fear women would be subject to the draft.  Well, guess what?  We have no Equal Rights Amendment, yet her national socialist Republican nazis in Congress are now calling for women to be subject to the draft.  'Ain't' karma a bitch?  While she's now dead and gone, women continue to be f--ked over by their employers.

Are dictated to by GOP nazis what they can and cannot do with their uterus.  Unwilling doctors are forced by statute here in Nazi Texas to in effect sexually assault women seeking an abortion by requiring a medically unnecessary highly invasive trans vaginal sonogram.  That is, GOP nazis are practicing medicine without a license to force their outrageously perverse ideological and religious views on women by statute.

In direct violation of the First Amendment Establishment Clause, that is, church-state separation.  All this, a part of her achingly failed legacy.  Mrs. Schlafly is indeed responsible for supporting, defending, and 'justifying' the abrogation of civil and constitutional rights and liberties in her effort to support and maintain patriarchy in our formerly great country.  This is the most tragic part of that failed legacy.  Not a very happy one.  A disgrace.

In an amusing follow up to the above, a dear, dear elderly friend of mine gave me a copy of what turns out to be quite a profoundly insightful joke making its way around the Internet.  This retired lady had been a bank officer back in the day.  Also, owned quite a successful antiques business in California.  She is a treasure and remains an incredibly sharp cookie and treasured member of the community.  She's also dealt deftly, wisely with family issues.  Quite astute, insightful, knowledgeable as well about current issues we're all dealing with.

I couldn't determine the original author of the following, but it really provides quite comical insight as to why elderly white men in the Republican Party are so damned resistant to change.  Of any kind.  Hopelessly, so:

"I mowed the lawn today, and after doing so I sat down and had a cold beer. The day was really quite beautiful, and the drink facilitated some deep thinking.

"My wife walked by and asked me what I was doing and I said “nothing”. The reason I said "nothing"  instead of saying “just thinking” is because she then would have asked “about what?” And I would have had to explain that men are deep thinkers about various topics, which would lead to other questions.

"Finally I pondered an age old question: Is giving birth more painful than getting kicked in the nuts? Women always maintain that giving birth is way more painful than a guy getting kicked in the nuts, but how could they "know"?

"Well, after another beer, and some more heavy deductive thinking, I have come up with the answer to that question.  Getting kicked in the nuts is more painful than having a baby, and even though I obviously couldn't really "know", here is the reason for my conclusion.

"A year or so after giving birth, a woman will often say, “It might be nice to have another child”.

"On the other hand, you never hear a guy say; “You know, I think I would like another kick in the nuts”.

"I rest my case, time for another beer, and then maybe a nap in that hammock."

What makes this even more comical is the photo that came with it.  -- An older guy sitting at a table with a mug of beer in front of him, -- looking remarkably deep in thought.  Doesn't get any better than that.

Congress needs to declare war, -- not pass resolutions giving the jackass occupying the Oval Office carte blanche to do as he or she wishes.  Consider the following from NPR:

"The AUMF was designed to give President Bush the power to use force, to defend the U.S. against future attacks. It runs just 60 words:

"That the President is authorized to use all necessary and appropriate force against those nations, organizations, or persons he determines planned, authorized, committed, or aided the terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001, or harbored such organizations or persons, in order to prevent any future acts of international terrorism against the United States by such nations, organizations or persons."

For the last 15 years, Presidents have used this carte blanche as license to fight whenever and wherever they wish.  Has certainly lined the pockets of the corporate management suite that sucks taxpayers dry.  To say nothing of the needless loss of military personnel and all the victims of 'collateral damage.'  This needs to change.  Has been a problem since the Korean fiasco.  -- A state of war there that still has not ended since 1950.

To say nothing of the ongoing fiasco in Afghanistan and throughout the rest of the region.  It's time to re-examine our priorities and best interests.  The corporate management suite certainly doesn't want this because it lines their pockets, those of shareholders, as well as its bought and paid for shills in government.

While pedophiles need to be prosecuted, why shouldn't jurors be fully informed as to what actions government has taken during the course of an investigation?  The Washington Times reports:

"Federal prosecutors on Friday asked that the jury tasked with hearing a case against a Florida man accused of running a massive child porn website be sparred details about the government’s role in running that site after his arrest.  The request appears in a newly-filed motion entered in U.S. District Court as the government’s attorneys prepare to argue its case against Steven Chase, the alleged administrator of the “Playpen” website who faces seven felony counts of child porn in relation to that role when his trial begins next week."

What is the government desperate to cover up?  How far did it go in running the website?  Did it unconstitutionally violate the rights of both the defendant and others it targeted as a result of running the website after the bastard's arrest?  Where's the transparency?

"The government’s attorneys on Friday filed a motion which, if approved, would forbid any evidence or arguments about the FBI’s brief operation of the illegal website from being heard in court by a jury weighing the case against Mr. Chase.  “The government’s brief operation of Playpen occurred after Chase was identified and arrested. As such, it is unrelated to the conduct for which Chase is being prosecuted and would therefore not assist the trier of facts to determine a fact at issue,” U.S. Attorney Jill Westmoreland Rose wrote in Friday’s motion."

How do we know this is true if there is no testimony regarding this issue in front of jurors?  Where the defense can cross examine prosecution witnesses to know whether or not they're telling the truth?  If there is no transparency, how can the government be trusted?  How?

"Additionally, the jury picked to decide the case would be “unfairly prejudiced, confused or misled” by hearing of the government’s role in running the child porn site, and that “any argument or evidence to the fact that the government briefly operated Playpen to identify website users is unfairly prejudicial because it would invite the jury to make its decision based on actions taken by the government rather than based on the conduct for which the defendant has been charged,” according to the filing."

"Don't do as I do, do as I say."  That's convoluted non-reasoning, that is, unadulterated bullshit.  Legalese run amok.  If there is full transparency afforded both sides, what and where is the problem?  Does the government believe jurors are too stupid to make the right decision?  The problem to date for decades has been the fact the government has unfairly been benefited by 'judges' who refuse to allow jurors to hear all evidence.  To give prosecutors and police an unfair edge.  Precisely, why 'judges', 'prosecutors', and 'law' 'enforcement' no longer care whether or not someone is guilty.  Just that they nail someone.  Anyone.

"Defense attorneys for the site’s alleged operator previously asked a federal judge to dismiss the case altogether on account of the government’s actions, but that request was denied earlier this month with U.S. District Judge Richard L. Voorhees ruling that “the government’s conduct in operating the website occurred subsequent to Defendant’s arrest for charged conduct and therefore the conduct neither assisted Defendant in allegedly committing the charged acts nor infringed upon any constitutional right belonging to Defendant.”

This is precisely the reason why there needs to be full transparency.  It should not be up to a judge to decide to intentionally abrogate a defendant's right to fully cross examine government goons on the stand.  Which may very well have happened in this case.  The judge and prosecution are apparently doing all they can to obfuscate the truth.  To secure a conviction at any cost.  No matter true guilt or innocence of the accused.  It's called nazi justice in Nazi America.  A goddamned fascist police-state.  Indeed, The Fourth Reich.

There is such a thing as slave labor in our formerly great country.  Still goes on.  Certainly, in the prisons.  Get this.  CBS News reports:

"Prisons can’t run without inmates, in more ways than one. Prisoners wash floors, work in the laundries and kitchens, and provide a large amount of the labor that keeps their facilities running. In return, they earn pennies per hour or even no pay at all."

Think most of them won't eventually get out?  Think this contributes in any way to 'rehabilitation?'  Especially, if there is no job waiting upon release?

"That’s sparking what may be the largest prison strike yet as inmates across the country plan to stop working on Friday. The strikers are calling for an end to forced labor and what they call “prison slavery.”

Think not?  Think society doesn't pay upon their release?  One way or the other?

"It’s no coincidence that they picked Sept. 9 as the strike date: It’s the 45th anniversary of the Attica riot, when prisoners at the Attica Correctional Facility in New York rioted for better conditions."

Can't have that, can we?  After all, it wouldn't comport with GOP fascist 'sensibilities' regarding their perversion of the term 'law and order.'  Yet, we all pay for this determined shortsightedness when released felons re-offend.  Then again, wouldn't want to confuse the fascist element in our formerly great country with the truth, would we?

The determined insanity in the Presidential race continues unabated.  CNN reports:

"Hillary Clinton unleashed a torrent of attacks against Donald Trump's preparedness to be commander in chief and questioned his patriotism Thursday morning, hours after an NBC forum exposed her opponent to criticism on multiple fronts."

Think her continued dishonesty makes her any more fit for office?

"It is a game to him. Everything is a game. It is like he is living in his own celebrity reality TV program," Clinton said at a campaign rally in Charlotte Thursday afternoon. "You know what Donald, this is real reality, this is real people, these are real decisions that have to be made for our country."

The same isn't true for you, Madam?   He's a buffoon, a caricature.  You're a liar.  Where does that leave the electorate?

"Last night was yet another test and Donald Trump failed yet again. We saw more evidence that he is temperamentally unfit and totally unqualified to be commander in chief. He trash talked American generals," she said."

You voted to invade Iraq under false pretenses, Madam.  What does that make you?  Did so for political gain.  -- While there were at least some of us at the time who strenuously objected, did not buy Bush "The Tush" and "Slick Dick's" bullshit, you did.  How many needlessly died, both sides, for nothing?  Absolutely nothing.  Subsequently, consequently gave rise to ISIS.  As "Hump The Rump", you are no more qualified to be Commander In Chief.  How can a deceptive liar be trusted to do the right thing?  Not put our noses where they don't belong?  Then again, Trump is no better:

"Among Trump's comments was his extensive praise of Russian President Vladimir Putin -- Trump even went as far as to say he was a better leader than Barack Obama.  "He's been a leader, far more than our president has been a leader," Trump said. "If (Putin) says great things about me, I'm going to say great things about him. I've already said he is really very much of a leader."

Think this son of a bitch isn't insane?  Ben?  Tim?  TL?  Still voting for him no matter what?  This the man?  Your man?  The public is f--ked.  Truly f--ked.  No matter who wins, the people lose.

There are contradictions.  Egregious contradictions.  CBS News reports:

TRUMP: “I happen to hear Hillary Clinton say that I was not against the war in Iraq. I was totally against the war in Iraq.”

THE FACTS: That statement is contradicted by an interview Trump did with Howard Stern in September 2002. He said then that he supported the invasion: “Yeah, I guess so.”

Wouldn't want to confuse anyone with the truth.

TRUMP: Asked about the problem of sexual assault within the military? , said, “We have to come down very, very hard on that. ... And the best thing we can do is set up a court system within the military. Right now, the court system practically doesn’t exist.”

THE FACTS: The U.S. military already has an extensive justice system, one with roots in the U.S. Constitution. The individual branches of the military have their own police and investigative and prosecution services, and they enforce a set of laws known as the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

Critics argue the military’s justice system has poorly served victims of sexual assault, but it’s not correct to say, as Trump did, that “nobody gets prosecuted.”

Trump isn't the only one with truth issues.

CLINTON: “Classified material has a header which says, ‘Top Secret,’ ‘Secret,’ ‘Confidential.’ Nothing, and I will, I will repeat this, and this is verified in the reports by the Department of Justice, none of the emails sent or received by me had such a header.”

THE FACTS: While Clinton is correct that none of the emails she sent or received contained headers indicating that information in them had been properly classified, that doesn’t absolve government employees under U.S. law from protecting information they know or should know was classified.

“Even if information is not marked classified in an email, participants who know, or should know, that the subject matter is classified are still obligated to protect it,” FBI Director James Comey said on July 5, when he announced that the FBI was recommending against filing criminal charges after its investigation.

"Comey said at least three emails included “(C)“ markings showing that information within them was considered confidential classified information. Clinton told FBI agents that she did not know what those markings meant, according to notes the FBI released Sept. 2."

Again, these are the two least qualified candidates for President in decades.  Trump certainly took a long, hard, undeserved dump on the military brass.  CBS News reports:

“I think under the leadership of Barack and Hillary Clinton the generals have been reduced to rubble,” he said. If he’s elected, Trump said the country would probably have “different generals.” Those currently serving, he said, “have been reduced to a point where it’s embarrassing for our country.”  But asked to explain in more detail about his plans to defeat ISIS, Trump said he wouldn’t give specifics because he didn’t want “the enemy” to know what he was planning. “If I win I don’t want to broadcast to the enemy exactly what my plan is,” he said."

Trump has no respect for the military.  Considers them a failure.  As far as keeping his plans secret from the enemy, where have we heard this before?  Younger readers are reminded "Tricky Dick" Nixon assured voters in 1968 he had a secret plan to defeat the communists in Vietnam.  Did not.  Lied.  Think Trump's not a traitor?  The Washington Post reports:

"Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump criticized U.S. foreign policy and the American political press corps Thursday during an interview on RT America, a state-owned Russian television network."

This isn't remarkably similar to the Jane Fonda fiasco decades ago?  Doesn't get you Right Wing fascists in the Republican Party hot and bothered?  No problem with Trump's support of Putin?  Still voting for the son of a bitch?  Have no issue with the following also courtesy of The Washington Post?

"Donald Trump on Monday dismissed questions about his failure to disclose an improper $25,000 contribution in 2013 to a political group connected to Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi, who was at the time considering whether to open a fraud investigation against Trump University."

All this is reason why NPR reports:

"You've heard it a bajillion times at this point: Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are the two most unpopular major party presidential candidates on record. Both of them have unfavorability ratings of more than 50 percent.  But here's one more place that unpopularity pops up: the number of people who simply don't choose either candidate. Especially when you compare this election with 2012, a massive number of people are either choosing third-party candidates or simply have not yet decided."

We're screwed.  Think not?  Even the Libertarian candidate has no clue vis a vis Aleppo.

The Washington Times reports:

"The chairman of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights said that “religious freedom” and “religious liberty” have become merely “code words” for intolerance, “Christian supremacy” and committing every form of identity-politics sin, and thus they must yield before anti-discrimination laws."

You think?

Trouble in paradise.  Amazing how the hypocrites at Fox operate.  Fox is embraced by the supposedly 'Christian' Nazi Right.  Despite the fact NPR reports:

"Two months after former Fox & Friends co-host Gretchen Carlson accused Fox News' then-Chairman Roger Ailes of sexual harassment, the network has agreed to pay Carlson $20 million and make a "highly unusual public apology," NPR's David Folkenflik reports."

Interesting, isn't it?  Insult to injury?  The Washington Times reports:

"Former Fox News host Greta Van Susteren said she regrets not believing her ex-colleague Gretchen Carlson’s sexual harassment claims against Roger Ailes, and she criticized 21st Century Fox and its board of directors for not fulfilling their duties to supervise the former network CEO.  “It is indeed true, when I read the complaint written by lawyers — I never spoke to Gretchen as she was long gone from Fox,” Ms. Van Susteren, who abruptly left the network earlier this week, wrote in a Facebook post Friday morning. “I found it inconsistent with what was my experience and information at the Fox News Channel, admittedly working 200 miles from the ‘scene of the crimes.’ It was hidden from all of us.”

Sad, isn't?

The  military has some serious problems vis a vis its priorities.  Appears to place convoluted expediency before principle.  Get this.  Raises serious questions.  The Washington Post reports:

"Last fall, the Navy Department had a controversial disciplinary case before it: Maj. Jason C. Brezler had been asked by Marine colleagues to submit all the information he had about an influential Afghan police chief suspected of abusing children. Brezler sent a classified document in response over an unclassified Yahoo email server, and he self-reported the mistake soon after. But the Marine Corps recommended that he be discharged for mishandling classified material."

Readers, think carefully about this.  The Major had a serious lapse in judgment sending a classified document through Yahoo.  No question.  Worse than not being a classified email server, Yahoo is a small fraction of what it used to be.  Years ago, no one did it any better.  Now, the clueless bastards only offer automated 'support' that works like shit.  No matter what, Brezler couldn't have made a worse choice.

Regardless, he did the right thing after realizing his mistake.  Quickly reported it as he should have.  Then, promptly got f--ked over by the military he had so ably served for so long.  For the sake of expediency:

"The Navy Department, which oversees the Marine Corps, had the ability to uphold or overturn the decision. However, rather than just looking at the merits of the case, Navy officials also assessed that holding new hearings on the case would renew attention on the scandal surrounding child sex abuse in Afghanistan, according to military documents newly disclosed in federal court."

Appalling to believe the Navy placed greater importance on covering up child sex abuse in Afghanistan for political expediency rather than exposing it, taking action.  Had it occurred here, would they have done the same?

"The documents, filed Tuesday in a lawsuit by Brezler against the Navy Department and Marine Corps, also show that Marine and Navy officials in Afghanistan were aware in 2012 of allegations of abuse against children by the Afghan police chief but that the chief was allowed to keep his position in Helmand province anyway. This became a major issue after a teenage boy who worked for the chief — and allegedly was abused by him — opened fire on a U.S. base Aug. 10, 2012, killing three Marines and badly wounding a fourth."

Remember the incident?  Amazing how everything in life is far more complicated than originally thought:

"The five-page legal review, written last October by Lt. Cmdr. Nicholas Kassotis for Vice Adm. James W. Crawford III, the judge advocate general of the Navy, recommended that the Marine Corps’ actions against Brezler be upheld. Calling for a new administrative review, known as a Board of Inquiry, would delay actions in the case another six to nine months and possibly increase attention on the case, “especially in the aftermath of significant media attention to the allegations regarding the practice of keeping personal sex slaves in Afghanistan,” Kassotis wrote. A month later in November, acting assistant Navy secretary Scott Lutterloh upheld the Marine Corps’ decision."

This is how the military 'thinks.'  Handles matters.  In case after case.  Example after example.  Amazing we can still kick the enemy's ass with a military that at least in matters like this remains so appallingly indifferent to principle.  Forget how it's supposed to be?  Duty, honor, country.

"Brezler’s case has drawn new attention in recent months as critics of presidential candidate Hillary Clinton have compared her email controversy to Brezler’s, noting that the officer’s military career is on the brink of being over. He sued the Marine Corps and Navy Department in 2014, saying that he was a victim of reprisal for discussing his case with a member of Congress, and it has languished in court since. Brezler wants to block his dismissal, which is now on hold."

Why the hell shouldn't he be allowed to talk to a member of Congress when he's being egregiously f--ked over by the military?  For the sake of political expediency.  Worse, this is not the first time the military has been involved in a pedophile case in Afghanistan.

"The Navy Department’s observation about Brezler’s case was made as another U.S. service member’s career was in jeopardy because of his response to alleged child sex abuse in Afghanistan. In that instance, Army Sgt. 1st Class Charles Martland made headlines after the Army decided last year to involuntary separate him from the service because of a reprimand he had received for hitting an Afghan Local Police (ALP) official in 2011 after the man laughed about kidnapping and raping a teenage boy. The Army overturned its decision in April and allowed Martland, a Green Beret, to stay in the military after Rep. Duncan D. Hunter (R-Calif.) intervened."

This is one of the vital functions of Congress.  Oversight.  Gets worse.  Seems the problem doesn't end with these two cases.  Get this:

"The Martland case opened a dialogue in which numerous veterans of the war in Afghanistan said they were told to ignore instances of child sex abuse by their Afghan colleagues. The Defense Department’s inspector general then opened an investigation into the sexual assault reports and how they were handled by U.S. military officials who knew about them."

It's amazing how cadets in our nation's military academies are required to adhere to an honor code second to none.  When they graduate and become officers, however, that seems to conveniently drop by the wayside.  Expediency trumps principle.  This is unsustainable.  It's a cancer that will continue to erode the military.  Profoundly, negatively, unsustainably affect the military.

North Korea has detonated another nuclear device.  To the chagrin of the world community.  Some are calling for the lights to be shut off in the North.  That is, end all shipments of energy.  This needs to be very, very carefully considered.  Should not be forgotten, one of the reasons Japan attacked Pearl Harbor and started a war with the United States and its allies is the Japanese were denied raw materials.  Had reportedly planned the attack 40 years.

Most likely, North Korea has already been quietly and repeatedly advised it would be promptly incinerated if it ever used a nuclear weapon against anyone.  Moreover, with a one million man army just above the border, any invasion by the North would likely quickly go nuclear anyway.  Otherwise, our much smaller force would be quickly routed.

Media egregiously fails to do its job.  Remains enamored with revenue generating headlines rather than unvarnished truth.  Has granted "Pilloried Hillary" a free pass on her dishonesty, prevarication, distortion of reality, failure to be prosecuted by 'Justice' Department buffoons for the email server fiasco.

Conversely, "Hump The Rump" enjoys media indifference to egregious reportedly fraudulent business practices.  Including, at least four highly questionable bankruptcies, contractors fleeced, to say nothing of all those looted vis a vis the now defunct Trump University fiasco.  Instead?  Media concentrates on the health of both candidates.  Who cares?  Forget?

Wilson, Roosevelt, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, and many other Presidents did their job despite serious health issues.  What is of far greater significance, far, far, greater significance are serious character flaws afflicting both candidates.  Making each egregiously, achingly unfit for office.  Yet, are summarily ignored.  Amazing, isn't it?

The following email has been sent nearly daily to a woman at 2freehosting.com who was responsible for caving into Wells Fargo.  This email is re-edited occasionally as circumstances change.  Should you bank with Wells Fargo you may wish to ask them why they engage in deceptive trade practices and if in fact they indeed bribed Texas Gov. Greg Abbott while he was Texas Attorney General to ignore a complaint filed against them:

Fran,

All three Liberty In Peril FTP servers are down and apparently have been
hacked.  The three websites, however, remain up and running at time of
writing.  That is, libertyinperil.twomini.com, libertyinperil.wink.ws, and
libertyinperil.t15.org are accessible and running.  Only FTP access has
been effected making it impossible to upload.

The Filezilla messaging on twomini is:

Status:        Connection attempt failed with "ECONNREFUSED - Connection

The exact same messaging, other than IP addresses, is the same on the wink
and t15 FTP servers.  This hacking attack apparently occurred the day

All three Liberty In Peril FTP servers are down and apparently have been
hacked.  The three websites, however, remain up and running at time of
writing.  That is, libertyinperil.twomini.com, libertyinperil.wink.ws, and
libertyinperil.t15.org are accessible and running.  Only FTP access has
been effected making it impossible to upload. This hacking attack
apparently occurred the day after Wells Fargo closed two accounts because
I publicly accused them of criminal activity.  Your company needs to look
into this matter. Get these FTP servers up and running again.  A criminal
complaint will be filed with the U.S. Attorney regarding all the ongoing

Welcome.   Liberty In Peril has been relaunched at a new URL:
libertyinperil.com.  This is a new commercial site hosted in an overseas
country, which unlike our own, does value free speech, Net security,
privacy, equally importantly, despises hackers.  Banks too big to fail
should not have the ability to shut down ftp servers on four Liberty In
Peril websites, making upload impossible.  -- Simply, because they don't
want the truth of their criminal activity reported to the public.

Should this site not be kept up, running, and fully operational, the
libertyinperil.com domain will be quickly moved to a different host
despite cost and hassle.  No more bullsh-t.  Criminal complaints will be
prepared and filed against Amanda Wright, Lynn Massey, and the equally
criminal bastards in the Wells Fargo corporate management suite for
egregious deceptive trade practices.

Email notification of local businesses of these practices, has and will,
continue unabated until Wells Fargo accepts responsibility, ceases these
practices, and finally makes it right.  During the last several weeks
after the ftp servers were hacked, a blizzard of these emails was sent to
local businesses to keep intense pressure on the criminal bastards at
Wells Fargo.  Copies of these emails were sent to bank officials.  They
have been posted in this publication. ... We're already up to Salvo 74, --
and counting.

In addition, all new Newsletter Editions will feature an
available abbreviated version, smart phone friendly, that can be accessed
by clicking on the icon.  Will supplement the regular format of this
publication.  This is being done because so many of you access this
publication with smart phones and other devices with small screens.

This site has finally been fully uploaded.  All links appear to be
properly working.  Typos in the rush to get material up have also been
corrected.  There will be a few additional changes to be made as time
allows.  Including, again, a smart phone-friendly abbreviated version of
each future Newsletter Edition starting with v434 that will be available
in addition to the regular edition.

Hopefully, now, I can finally get back to the business of this
publication, that is exposure of corrupt, abusive, inept, clueless
government lackeys beholden to their corporate masters, rather than
dealing with recalcitrant webhosts.  We'll see.  With the
libertyinperil.com domain, however, any necessary changes in webhosts will
be easy to make since all links won't have to be changed or deactivated.

The pressure on Wells Fargo will continue unabated.  Should they further
interfere with operation of this publication, it will simply provide
additional fodder for criminal complaints to be filed against them.

On 9-22-15, Kingsland Wells Fargo Store Manager Amanda Wright forced
closure of two accounts because for nearly three years this writer has
publicly accused her, her predecessor Lynn Massey, and the Wells Fargo
corporate management suite of engaging in criminal deceptive trade
practices, as well as pressuring, unduly interfering and/or bribing
webhosts to take these websites down.

Apparently, they have successfully managed to unduly influence and/or
bribe the federal Consumer Financial 'Protection' Bureau and Texas
Attorney General Consumer Protection Division as well.  Forget?  The bank
is considered too big to fail.  Considers itself government.

For all practical purposes, that's perversely true.  They have money and
resources to buy not only their human chattel, but their bought and paid
for government lackeys. Be interesting to see whether or not the U.S.
Attorney is untouchable, or sadly, similarly capable of being bought.

Immediately after closure of these accounts, the three operational Liberty
In Peril FTP servers were hacked.  What that means is that while all three
sites remained operational and accessible to readers, new material could
not be uploaded.  This continues to date.

Worse, 'free' accounts on all three 'free' webhosts conveniently no longer
provide technical control panel support.  Clearly, they don't want to know
there are problems.  Have managed, however, to find other ways to contact
webhost management and have done precisely that.

Will take a criminal investigation to determine who hacked the sites,
however.  Most likely, Wells Fargo had a hand in it.  Certainly, have the
resources.  Highly, unlikely the Llano County Sheriff's Office was
involved.  Hard to believe they would be that stupid.  The Bank, however,
has nothing to lose.  Owns its government lackeys.  The Sheriff and his
outrageously corrupt and abusive goons, however, can expect further
exposure in this publication.  Should you have information regarding this
or any other issue, contact me.  I will protect your identity.

The effort to expose Wells Fargo egregious deceptive trade practices continues.  Several years ago to determinedly apply renewed pressure on our truly worthless, egregiously self-serving Texas Attorney General, now Governor, an excoriating email was sent to the bastard.  Copies of which were also passed on to both offending Wells Fargo officers. A copy was also sent to the Davis campaign and others at the time.

Voters did have a right to know as Attorney General, the GOP candidate for Governor apparently selectively investigated, or not, bona fide complaints filed by citizens against banks too big to fail.  Possibly, Wells Fargo could have lined his pockets in some fashion.  That has yet to be determined.

The bastard and his office, no matter what, failed to respond to the complaint originally snail mailed several years ago.  This material, figuratively targeting Wells Fargo and the governor 'wannabe' now Governor, had been posted and can be found by scrolling all the way down and clicking on the links well below.  ... Governor?  Wells Fargo bribe you to look the other way?

Will continue to do all I can to publicly expose this to all, both in this publication and elsewhere.  Have done precisely that with the following email sent to Michelle Ramm, Director of Transportation, Burnet Consolidated ISD.   A copy of it was also sent to Wells Fargo officer Amanda Wright.  She has, indeed, been promoted to branch manager.  Reverse Darwinism.  Survival of the unfittest.

This young woman has indeed been rewarded by the Wells Fargo corporate management suite for engaging in criminal deceptive trade practices and her undying loyalty to her corporate masters.  The process to update those already informed of this fiasco has finally been completed.  This latest material can be found by clicking on Wells Fargo Deceptive Trade Practices Salvo 119, 9-16-16.

The name of this publication was changed some ten years ago from The Llano Ledger to Liberty In Peril.  The reason?  Simple.  Cowardly failure of this community to stand up to tyranny that has only exponentially worsened the last decade.  Clearly, demonstrated as well by the cowardly failure of businesses to financially support this publication.  Either through advertising or other financial support.  Too afraid doing so would enrage the bastards who run and own this hellhole County.

-- Despite the fact these businesses were, and are, being egregiously f--ked by these very same bastards. Tough, isn't it?  Impossible to entertain any sympathy for cowardice, however.  Especially in view of the fact this writer has placed himself in great jeopardy taking on these corrupt, abusive, inept criminal bastards.  Alone.

Exactly, why you see no investigative material highly critical of these sons of bitches in other local rags.  Sadly, cowardly, all advertising income immediately dries up.  Consequently, the bastards continue their criminal chicanery with impunity.  On a rampage.  Thus, you get what you truly deserve.  Always.  Precisely, why this earlier name change to Liberty In Peril remains appropriate.  -- Despite the fact this writer has not yet left the area.  Ten years after originally intending to do so.  Thirty years in this goddamned godforsaken hellhole.

This writer, then and now, remains primarily interested in state, federal, and international issues.  Another reason for this publication name change.  Despite the fact I stupidly cluelessly remain here, local issues mustbe addressed.  Can't be ignored.  That's where you come in dear readers.  Have the courage to inform this writer of local abuse, corruption, ineptness you are aware of, have personally experienced.

... Information these criminal bastards do all they can to conceal, cover up.  Otherwise, how can they effectively sustain the charade and intended result?  Loot confiscation through a boot heel on the throat of the citizenry.

The only way, short of an unwanted dreaded second American revolution, to force badly-needed change is to expose all this to the light of day.  These bastards are beginning to understand they have a problem.  No question, the growing rage of those they've abused, looted, egregiously f--ked.  It's time to stand up.  Expose this corruption to glaring sunlight.  Otherwise, as fools, cowards, you will remain under their thumb.  From the loftiest business owner to those on the bottom of the food chain.  Wake up.  Grow a pair.

Still don't think that likely to happen.  After all, you're bought and paid for.  Owned.  Not only by your government masters, but their masters.  The corporate management suite.  Your employers.  Think not? Wake up.   You're human chattel.  Corporate-owned, bought and paid for.  Precisely, why you cowardly, compliantly literally bare your asses for corporate inspection by the company doctor.  Willingly, compliantly, cowardly piss in a cup under employer supervision.  To sit in front of a keyboard or stock shelves all day.  You have no control of your lives.  You're owned.  Forget?  For a measly salary, no job security, reduced to no benefits.  At a time of record corporate profits and cash reserves.

Then, you gallingly complain about the oppression as you tolerate egregious theft of your labor.  Not only by your corporate masters, but their bought and paid for government lackeys.  Too cowardly to stand up, allow disclosure of your identity when you rightfully complain to this publication of being mercilessly f--ked. Some of you falsely arrested, criminally assaulted, bogusly fined for 'offenses' you did not commit.  To line County coffers.  Keep the peasants in line and under control.  A fascist police-state. Nazi America.

Again, yet another reason why this publication is called Liberty In Peril.  Most galling?  Nothing changes if you fail to step up and challenge corrupt, abusive, inept authority.  Too afraid, cowardly compliant to let the bastards know who you are.  Did it ever occur to the cowards out there if the identity of the accuser is kept under wraps the bastards will falsely claim it's all made up by this publication?  Thus, conveniently killing all credibility.  Wake up.

Cowardice is unbecoming, unworthy of our formerly great country.  Insult to injury?  There are the hopelessly deranged who believe the chicanery reported here to be manufactured anyway.  No matter the effort.  No matter the research.  No matter the proof.  Wake up.  This writer cannot do it alone.  Snowball's chance in hell.  Then again, cowardice, delusion is always amply, justly rewarded.  Always. You continue to 'enjoy' the very best government money can buy.  Literally.

JP2 Linda Ballard Recording

Click herefor a most interesting conversation between JP2 Linda Ballard and LCRA Communications Supervisor Mitch Hibbs who at the time was investigating a complaint made by the Henderson family against the 'judge.'  The recording had been made by Hibbs and provided by Phyllis Henderson who had gotten it through an open records request.   During the course of the recording you will hear the 'judge' make a terroristic threat against the Henderson family which the investigator laughingly shrugged off as a joke.

Seems former LCRA Ranger Lance Bilski, stepson of Llano County Sheriff Bill Blackburn, had been harassing the Henderson family regarding their tire business, Henderson Tire.  Worse? There are unsubstantiated allegations, that although very much attached, Bilski may have indeed engaged in improprieties, that is, egregiously unprofessional conduct relevant to the Henderson complaint.  All this had been covered in Newsletter Text V346.

Publication of this material, however, should in no way be interpreted as endorsement of Ballard's opponent, Steve Lange, in the upcoming runoff.  It is not.  It is provided as a public service to expose the 'judge' for exactly whom and what she is.
