As always, any time a cop does something extraordinary, exceptional, heroic, it leads in this publication.  Newburgh, N.Y. Police Officers Brandon Rola and John Maguire are two top notch public servants.  Indeed, second to none.  A breath of fresh air.  Especially, with what's been going on in Ferguson lately.  Newburgh is cold country.  Lots of snow.  Two cousins went out to play in it the evening before Thanksgiving.  Inadvertently, got buried by a snow plow that was not aware they were in a snow fort they had just constructed.

The mother of one of the two was frantic when they both hadn't returned.  Called police just before midnight.  A frantic search by law enforcement and the community ensued.  Officers Rola and Maguire got lucky.  Spotted a boot after one hell of a difficult search.  Rola feared the worst.  Then saw the small boot twitch.  Immediately, called paramedics.  Both boys, alive and well.  Buried for hours.  Will be just fine.

Hat's off to both officers and the community who worked like hell to free both kids.  With bare hands.  ... Only had one shovel initially.  Spared all, -- what could have so easily turned into a terrible tragedy.

Devonte Hart, 12, attended a rally in Portland, Ore. to support protests in Ferguson.  Stood there crying with a “Free Hugs” sign.  Portland Police Sgt. Bret Barnum noticed the sign.  Came over and asked for a hug.  Jen Hart, the boy's mother, quite overwhelmed herself at the time, described it as “one of the most emotionally charged experiences I’ve had as a mother.”  Johnny Huu Nguyen took the AP photo that quickly went viral.  Want to see what police-community relations should look like?  Click here.  A remarkable cop.  A remarkable kid.  A loving mother.

Back to hard, cold reality.  Dornella Conner, 24, lost an eye to a bean bag fired by St. Louis' 'Finest.'  Hadn't even been protesting when it happened 11-25-14.  Has possibly also lost vision in the other eye as well.  She's pregnant with two children.  May not be able to work to support her kids.

Sadly, 'no billed' Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson now knows what it's like to live in fear.  Abject terror.  Some small measure of what it means to be profiled.  Stalked.  Seems this jackbooted thug has been moving house to house afraid for his life.  -- Since he learned his address was being circulated on the Internet shortly after he killed Michael Brown.  Tough, isn't it?  Doesn't your heart bleed for this jackbooted bastard?

Now, he knows what it feels like not to be secure where he lives.  Not in his personal papers, effects, or, sadly, even in his personal life, to say nothing of his vanished sense of well-being.  Like the rest of us.  ... Especially, since in the case of the unwashed masses, jackbooted nazi government haughtily demands up to date personal information, -- should it need to harass, hassle, shake down, abuse, etc.. innocent citizens.  It's called tracking.  It's how they make their money.  Get their cookies off abusing power.  Banging on doors in the middle of the night.

Anonymity?  Gone.  Not permitted in a fascist police-state.  Guilt or innocence?  Matters not.  -- Certainly, where, when government wants every bit of personal information it can collect.  ... Despite the fact at least some of us do as much as we can to frustrate this goddamned intrusive bullsh-t.  Make it as difficult as possible for these jackbooted bastards.  Grant no quarter.

Despite all that's transpired since establishment of a fascist police-state after 9/11, there are still idiots out there who believe if they break no laws, they will be left alone.  Wake up.  You're idiots.  Don't know that?  Patience. You will.  As police continue to become far more aggressive, what these thugs like to euphemistically call "pro-active," there will come a time when even the little old lady next door will attract attention.  Certainly, not for a welfare check, but some chicken sh-t violation to line County coffers.

Indeed, personal privacy runs counter to the police mentality.  Certainly doesn't matter it's none of government's goddamned business in the case of the law abiding.  Why would it?  Guilty? Innocent?  Irrelevant.  Certainly, no longer of significance in a fascist police-state.  It's the power, stupid.  Law enforcement thugs get their cookies off robustly jamming a boot heel into the necks of citizens they falsely claim to "protect and serve."

Generate income by looting the innocent.  Refuse to identify themselves other than by badge number.  ... If that.  Goddamned bullsh-t.  They're cowards.  ... Right, Sheriff?  Forget?  The public has a right to know the identities of its oppressors.  Including your officers, Mr. Bill.  That afraid of an unwanted dreaded second American revolution, Billy Boy?  -- So afraid your bastards are indeed too goddamned gutless to identify themselves?

Wilson was so frightened he spent much of his time after the shooting sitting in dark theaters watching movies to avoid detection.  Abject cowardice.  -- This, from his attorney.  Again, doesn't your heart bleed for this gutless son of a bitch?  The bastard certainly now knows what it feels like to experience terror.  Better yet?  Doesn't look like he'll secure any relief for quite some time, -- if ever.   Neither will the parents and family of his victim.  His career as an officer, over.  Literally.  About time.

Who'd hire him?  Would definitely endanger fellow officers by his presence.  To say nothing of the public.  Reportedly, this jackbooted thug looked for an 'honorable' way to leave the force.  There was none.  Continued to negotiate his departure.  What was there to 'negotiate?'  Finally, did the world a favor.

Resigned in disgrace.  Spared others in the community a repeat performance.  Finally, wound up doing what he should have done at the time of the killing.  Certainly did some serious soul searching all these months.  Not fit to be an officer.  Never was.  Remained a danger to himself, fellow officers, and most importantly, the community.

His attorney, Neil Bruntrager, told CNN the officer had received death threats.  Had a bounty placed on him.  Went so far as to cross dress to hide his identity.  You're a coward, Officer.  Not a man.  ... A jackbooted thug so gutless he had to cross dress to hide his identity.  Pitiful.  Again, doesn't your heart bleed?

Now, he knows what many feel across the country when a predator thug gets behind their vehicle, turns on his lights and siren, when they know damned well they've done nothing to justify being stopped.  Nothing at all.  No probable cause.  Wonder whether or not they'll survive the encounter.  Especially, if they're Black, Latino, Middle Eastern, etc..  Where?  Where else? Nazi America.  A fascist police-state.

Wilson's legal problems are far from over.  While the federal civil rights investigation will likely go nowhere, it's time for the Brown family to sue the living sh-t out of this jackbooted thug, Department, and the City.  At the very least.  Make it as difficult as possible.  Costly as hell.  Grant no quarter.  Do all they can to bankrupt all those involved.  Including taxpayers who are ultimately responsible for such abuse of authority in a democratic republic.

We're grossly over-policed in the fascist police-state we now live in.  If it's made costly enough for these goons to stay on the job, hopefully their ranks will drop in number.  We desperately need a truly professional  law enforcement community to replace the fools we now have.  They need to not only be far better trained, but better educated with at least a bachelors degree in the behavioral sciences.  Need to be far better psych screened.  To weed out psychotic jackbooted dangerous assholes like Wilson, -- and far closer to home,  Llano County Sheriff's Deputy "007."  Right, Sheriff?

Also, need to be extremely well-paid.  Starting salaries should approach $100K.  To attract the best and brightest.  Professionals.  Make it extremely difficult to become an officer.  Any potential recruits with a history of aberrant behavior and/or proclivities should be quickly weeded out.  As thorough a screening as possible prior to hiring.

To continue, however, as long as the officer is employed.  Goal?  Develop a truly professional force that can be trusted.  A much smaller force, better educated, trained, carefully chosen to serve the people.  Certainly, not themselves as well as their corporate masters, -- and their bought and paid for government shills.

The St. Louis Police Officers Association has its shorts in a wad over the  "hands up, don't shoot" gesture by five St. Louis Rams players just before the 11-30-14 game against the Raiders.  These jackbooted thugs want an apology and disciplining of the five by the NFL.  They'll get neither.  Hey, officers?  Ever hear of the First Amendment?

That is, free speech?  ... You're "disappointed?"  Disappointed?  An 18-year-old kid is dead as a result of excessive force.  By one of your own.  At least six rounds, two to the head.  Think this acceptable?  An exponentially growing number across our formerly great country think not.  ... Hear the rumble?  An unwanted, dreaded second American revolution catastrophically looming on the horizon.

... A revolution that is exponentially more likely since the President remains unwilling to cut off all militarization of law enforcement.  Will set up a task force that will apparently do nothing other than try to peddle better police-community relations.  That is, symbolism over substance.  Unadulterated bullsh-t that will do nothing to placate, rather exacerbate an impossible situation that is clearly getting worse.

If there is no justice there can be no peace.  No blue ribbon panel designed to pacify the masses has any chance of success.  Is no substitute for justice.  Incredibly, the St. Louis County Police Officers Association sees no need for change despite the killing of Michael Brown.  Has no clue precisely how jackbooted abusive law enforcement has grown the last fifty years.  ... Or, more likely, simply doesn't care.

St. Louis Police Officers Association business manager Jeff Roorda told CBS:

"Whatever has happened in America to cause these feelings of resentment, it's not a failure of law enforcement.  It's a political failure, and it's an economic failure and we don't feel that should be pinned on the chest of Darren Wilson or law enforcement, more broadly."

That's absolute clueless bullsh-t.  Precisely, why there will be no change.  Sadly, the violence will continue.  The business manager is right that political and economic failure do, indeed, contribute to the problem.  Goes far beyond that, however.  A jackbooted police mentality exacerbates these problems and many others.  Police cannot be excused when they wantonly kill.  Use excessive force.  For no legitimate reason.  Must be held accountable.  They're not.  Almost never.

Roorda continued:

"If we spend this time in the wake of Michael Brown's killing trying to change law enforcement to fix this problem, it's going to be a betrayal to his legacy because that's not why Michael Brown ended on the street confronting a police officer.  It's decades of racial disparity, and economic disparity. It's not a problem with the police."

The hell it isn't.  That's a bogus, convenient re-write of history.  Police unwillingness to take responsibility for their failures, abuse of citizens,  unjustifiable killings.  Killings occurring all over our formerly great country.  Exquisite example of cowardly, cluelessly putting the blame on others, failing to look in the mirror.  Until and unless this changes, the violence will sadly increase, spread.  Equally pointedly, it's a prime example of a condescending, patronizing Aryan arrogant attitude adopted by jackbooted thugs regarding the citizens they abuse, shake down, wantonly kill.

The cops remain too clueless to understand jackbooted behavior reinforces the direct opposite of what law enforcement claims it seeks.  That is, a peaceful, non-violent, law abiding community.   Apologists for this Ferguson officer who wantonly killed keep referring to the Grand Jury decision as exculpatory.  It's not.  Far from it.

The prosecutor made no effort to seek an indictment.  None at all.  Offered the grand jury no guidance.  Did an information dump to cleverly cover his sorry ass, -- while callously protecting the thug.  An overwhelming information dump.  A blizzard.  The prosecutor's attitude?  Can't dazzle 'em with brilliance, baffle 'em with bullsh-t.  He did.

Wilson's testimony before that grand jury was not challenged.  There was no cross examination by opposing counsel.  The prosecutor led the 'witness' instead of challenging holes in his testimony.  This is reportedly the fifth time this prosecutor failed to aggressively indict a jackbooted officer.  Yet, the fascist bastards in the community keep returning this son of a bitch to office.

From what little chance I've had to review volumes of testimony, there is certainly the appearance the prosecutor had no intention of prosecuting this officer despite highly questionable circumstances surrounding the shooting.  To say the least, excessive force.  Apparently, feared the officer would have been convicted.  Much more to come as this fiasco continues to develop.  One thing for sure.  Justice was not done.  Precisely, why protests and conflict continue.

The following remarks were sent 11-27-14 to both Texas U.S. Senators via an online petition from Public Citizen.  The petition urged support of the FOIA Improvement Act which would discourage Presidents, including Obama, from denying Freedom of Information Act requests by executive fiat and/or policy:

"It's time to make this outrageously corrupt, abusive, inept, intrusive government transparent.  Far more responsive to the needs of the people than the corporate management suite that can never seem to get enough.  It's time for you to finally honor your oath to protect and defend the Constitution, particularly the Bill of Rights. End outrageously unconstitutional National 'Security' Letters, repeal the USA 'Patriot' Act which not only takes a raucous hard dump on the Constitution, but has created a fascist police-state.  As Franklin wisely opined over 200 years ago, anyone willing to trade liberty for security deserves and winds up with neither.  Hear the rumble? "

Interestingly, a new Gallup Poll indicates that despite a drop in the number of uninsured, more people put off medical care this year because they simply could not afford it.  One in three.  So much for the 'Affordable' 'Care' Act, no?  ... While providers, hospitals, insurers laugh their financially portly asses off all the way to the bank.

Amusingly, seems more upper income Americans have also put off treatment.  28% this year compared to 17% last.  Now, what's so amazing is the possible reason or reasons why.  This remarkably small subset of the population can afford anything and everything it wants.  Yet, they clearly backed off.  Could it be they're simply tired of the entire fiasco?  A system that serves only itself?  To line its bottomless pockets?

A process that has grown increasingly intrusive regarding personal information even the rich may no longer be quite so willing to part with?  To say nothing of the abject lack of security afforded by centralization of data?  Easily accessible to any government goon, employer, hacker?    ... We'll see.  Time will certainly tell as the 'health' 'care' system continues to bankrupt the country.

Former Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice has successfully beaten the system.  Had his indefinite suspension removed by a 'judge.'  Clearly, there is no justice.  You can literally knock your future wife unconscious in an elevator, spit on her, yet be quickly reinstated in the NFL.  The almighty buck rules.  Surpasses even the 'judgment' of former U.S. District Judge Barbara Jones who acted as 'neutral' 'arbitrator.'  Aren't we lucky this former 'judge' is no longer on the bench?

The Ravens earlier gave Rice the boot.  Rightfully, so.  Be interesting to see who signs the bastard, won't it?  Think he won't be signed elsewhere?  Wake up.  Money rules.  Principle?  Means sh-t squat in the corporate management suite.  Anything goes.  Ladies?  Should this abusive thug be hired, time to turn your back on football.  Until management and the owners finally get the message such abusive behavior is unacceptable. Anywhere.

The dream is dead in Egypt.  A 'judge' exonerated an extremely abusive former dictator that killed many before he was driven from power several years ago.  Hosni Mubarak.  Hundreds of deaths.  Cleared of the murders 11-29-14.  Magic.  ... Poof!  Nazi justice.  In what's become a fascist police-state. The people want it.  Too stupid, cowardly to understand what just happened in that hellhole.  Get what they deserve.

The former dictator?  86.  Just won't die.  Worse?  Like a hemorrhoid, won't go away any time soon.  Time to end all financial and military aid.  Won't happen.  Our government loves playing the game.  Principle?  Matters not.  Certainly, no longer.  Power.  Influence.  That's all that matters to the idiots in Washington.

While there remains little regard for the UN for a variety of reasons, they remain spot on regarding their criticism of police brutality here in the U.S., as well as the prison system, to say nothing of military 'interrogations.'  Then again, the nazi  element in our formerly great country, particularly down here in the South, doesn't want to hear the truth.  Remains in denial.  Head so far up its collective ass its eyeballs are turning inside out.  Then again, truth hurts.  Think we'll ever wake up?

Interestingly, a UN panel reported 11-28-14 we fall achingly short of full compliance with an international anti-torture treaty we supposedly agreed to.  Couldn't be, could it?  Then again, there are plenty of idiots out there who fully support water boarding and other torture and abuse of those interrogated.  So goddamned stupid it never occurred to these idiots the enemy could and would do the same to our personnel.  Then again, while you can fix ignorant, you can't fix stupid.

The effort to expose Wells Fargo egregious deceptive trade practices continues.  Several months ago to determinedly apply renewed pressure on our truly worthless, egregiously self-serving Texas Attorney General, now Governor-Elect, an excoriating email was sent to the bastard.  Copies of which were also passed on to both offending Wells Fargo officers.  A copy was also sent to the Davis campaign and others.

Voters did have a right to know as Attorney General, the GOP candidate for Texas Governor apparently selectively investigated, or not, bona fide complaints filed by citizens against banks too big to fail.  Possibly, Wells Fargo could have lined his pockets in some fashion.  That has yet to be determined.

The bastard and his office, no matter what, failed to respond to the complaint originally snail mailed over a year ago.  This material, figuratively targeting Wells Fargo and the governor 'wannabe' now Governor-Elect, had been posted and can be found by scrolling all the way down and clicking on the links well below.

Will continue to do all I can to publicly expose this to all, both in this publication and elsewhere.  Have done precisely that with the following email sent to the Executive Director, Lake Buchanan Inks Lake Chamber of Commerce.  Copies of it were also sent to both offending Wells Fargo employees.  This latest material can be found by clicking on Wells Fargo Deceptive Trade Practices Salvo 13, 12-1-14.

-- Despite the fact these businesses were, and are, being egregiously f--ked by these very same bastards.  Tough, isn't it?  Impossible to entertain any sympathy for cowardice, however.  Especially in view of the fact this writer has placed himself in great jeopardy taking on these corrupt, abusive, inept criminal bastards.  Alone.

Exactly, why you see no investigative material highly critical of these sons of bitches in other local rags.  Sadly, cowardly, all advertising income immediately dries up.  Consequently, the bastards continue their criminal chicanery with impunity.  On a rampage.  Thus, you get what you truly deserve.  Always.  Precisely, why this earlier name change to Liberty In Peril remains appropriate.  -- Despite the fact this writer has not yet left the area.  Ten years after originally intending to do so.  Thirty years in this goddamned godforsaken hellhole.

This writer, then and now, remains primarily interested in state, federal, and international issues.  Another reason for this publication name change.  Despite the fact I stupidly cluelessly remain here, local issues must be addressed.  Can't be ignored.  That's where you come in dear readers.  Have the courage to inform this writer of local abuse, corruption, ineptness you are aware of, have personally experienced.

... Information these criminal bastards do all they can to conceal, cover up.  Otherwise, how can they effectively sustain the charade and intended result?  Loot confiscation through a boot heel on the throat of the citizenry.

The only way, short of an unwanted dreaded second American revolution, to force badly-needed change is to expose all this to the light of day.  These bastards are beginning to understand they have a problem.  No question, the growing rage of those they've abused, looted, egregiously f--ked.  It's time to stand up.  Expose this corruption to glaring sunlight.  Otherwise, as fools, cowards, you will remain under their thumb.  From the loftiest business owner to those on the bottom of the food chain.  Wake up.  Grow a pair.

Still don't think that likely to happen.  After all, you're bought and paid for.  Owned.  Not only by your government masters, but their masters.  The corporate management suite.  Your employers.  Think not? Wake up.   You're human chattel.  Corporate-owned, bought and paid for.  Precisely, why you cowardly, compliantly literally bare your asses for corporate inspection by the company doctor.  Willingly, compliantly, cowardly piss in a cup under employer supervision.  To sit in front of a keyboard or stock shelves all day.  You have no control of your lives.  You're owned.  Forget?  For a measly salary, no job security, reduced to no benefits.  At a time of record corporate profits and cash reserves.

Then, you gallingly complain about the oppression as you tolerate egregious theft of your labor.  Not only by your corporate masters, but their bought and paid for government lackeys.  Too cowardly to stand up, allow disclosure of your identity when you rightfully complain to this publication of being mercilessly f--ked.  Some of you falsely arrested, criminally assaulted, bogusly fined for 'offenses' you did not commit.  To line County coffers.  Keep the peasants in line and under control.  A fascist police-state.  Nazi America.

Again, yet another reason why this publication is called Liberty In Peril.  Most galling?  Nothing changes if you fail to step up and challenge corrupt, abusive, inept authority.  Too afraid, cowardly compliant to let the bastards knowwho you are.  Did it ever occur to the cowards out there if the identity of the accuser is kept under wraps the bastards will falsely claim it's all made up by this publication?  Thus, conveniently killing all credibility.  Wake up.

Cowardice is unbecoming, unworthy of our formerly great country.  Insult to injury?  There are the hopelessly deranged who believe the chicanery reported here to be manufactured anyway.  No matter the effort.  No matter the research.  No matter the proof.  Wake up.  This writer cannot do it alone.  Snowball's chance in hell.  Then again, cowardice, delusion is always amply, justly rewarded.  Always. JP2 Linda Ballard Recording

Click here for a most interesting conversation between JP2 Linda Ballard and LCRA Communications Supervisor Mitch Hibbs who at the time was investigating a complaint made by the Henderson family against the 'judge.'  The recording had been made by Hibbs and provided by Phyllis Henderson who had gotten it through an open records request.   During the course of the recording you will hear the 'judge' make a terroristic threat against the Henderson family which the investigator laughingly shrugged off as a joke.

Seems former LCRA Ranger Lance Bilski, stepson of Llano County Sheriff Bill Blackburn, had been harassing the Henderson family regarding their tire business, Henderson Tire.  Worse? There are unsubstantiated allegations, that although very much attached, Bilski may have indeed engaged in improprieties, that is, egregiously unprofessional conduct relevant to the Henderson complaint.  All this had been covered in Newsletter Text V346.

Publication of this material, however, should in no way be interpreted as endorsement of Ballard's opponent, Steve Lange, in the upcoming runoff.  It is not.  It is provided as a public service to expose the 'judge' for exactly whom and what she is.
