Veterans Day.  November 11, 2014.  Sincere, heartfelt expression of gratitude to all who've selflessly sacrificed, intrepidly served.

Pennsylvania, indeed, has a problem with its system of justice.  Not only in terms of abusive officers, however.  Andrew Bullock, 19, of Aliquippa was sentenced to 18 1/2 to 37 years in prison.  His crime?  Rape of an 85-year-old nun.  Fox put it bluntly:

"The nun was 85 when Bullock approached her at a recycling bin on Dec. 13. After offering to help her load some newspapers, he exposed himself, punched the nun in the jaw and knocked her face-down while raping and screaming at her."

Think this son of a bitch isn't likely to re-offend?  Shouldn't the law had provided for life without parole for such an horrendous crime?  To ensure no one has to undergo this again from him?

The victim was, indeed, most forgiving.  Didn't attend sentencing but had a fellow nun read the following statement:

"My profound and permanent prayer for you, Andrew, is that you wholeheartedly take advantage of the educational, uplifting, socially positive opportunities that may be available during your prison time."

... If only prisons were in fact about rehabilitation, Sister.  Your courage and charity, indeed, second to none.

Yet, the rapist bastard above is not representative of the young in Pennsylvania.  Not by a long shot.  Joe Chambers is 17, a volunteer firefighter.  He and his neighbor witnessed a horrible accident 11-8-14.  A pickup truck broadsided a police car as it was on its way to a priority call.  Philadelphia Police Officer Mark Kimsey was trapped in the cruiser as it burst into flames.

Chambers and his neighbor couldn't get the door open.  The officer couldn't feel his legs.  They dragged him through the window and to safety.  Other witnesses got the pickup driver out.  Both drivers suffered injuries.  The cop, hospitalized, is stable but suffered a head injury when the airbag deployed.  Has burn injuries to his legs.  The pickup driver also has a head injury but is stable.  Chambers suffered minor injuries and was taken to Children's Hospital.  Both he and the officer posed for a photo later that evening, however.  ... Think this kid doesn't have a great future?

Continuing on a more sour note,  Pennsylvania has a problem with the First Amendment.  Mumia Abu-Jamal was convicted of killing a Philadelphia cop in 1981.  Certainly, remember the case.  Quite a bit of controversy at the time.  Did he do it?  Have no idea.  Did not attend the trial.  Jurors certainly believed it.  Convicted him.  Wound up with a life sentence.

What was clear to this writer back then, as it certainly is today, 'judges' severely limit what can be admitted as evidence, dictate defense strategy and tactics, allow prosecutors to stack juries, allow police to deliberately influence the jury pool from the moment a crime is committed right through jury selection, are certainly without question in the pockets of prosecutors and the law enforcement community.  -- Instead of rightfully allowing a fairly selected jury to judge what is and is not proper defense.

Recently, Abu-Jamal gave a pre-recorded speech to the graduating class of Vermont's Goddard College.  Can't have that according to Gov. Tom Corbett and his fellow fascists in Pennsylvania.  The Governor decried the "obscene celebrity" of convicts like Abu-Jamal.  Is that right, Governor?  What's the matter, sir?   He figuratively struck a chord a bit too rhetorically close to home?

That is, Abu-Jamal's assertion the judicial system is racist?  You don't know that, Governor?  ... Stupidity, -- or, determined ignorance?  Both?  Or, is it the fact you simply don't want to hear the truth?  More pointedly, think his determined effort to expose the system, your system, as racist, is equally importantly, an imminent exigent 'threat' to an unacceptable status quo?  ... A status quo you remain hell bent on preserving, maintaining at all costs?

So much so, you're more than willing to take a raucous hard dump on guarantied free speech, that is, the First Amendment?  By abrogating all free speech rights of the imprisoned?  Who's next? Anyone who challenges the status quo, established order?  Wake up, Governor.

Readers, this fascist bastard signed into law a bill that designedly abrogates the rights of those convicted to speak against the conviction.  Don't care?  What if he's innocent?  Doesn't matter?

Fox reports:

"Abu-Jamal and prisoner-rights groups filed a federal lawsuit Monday seeking to stop the law, which allows violent-crime victims to take legal action when an offender's conduct 'perpetuates the continuing effect of the crime.'"

This is an egregiously blatant end run around the First Amendment guaranty of free speech.  Just because someone is convicted, rightly or wrongly of a crime, doesn't mean they can be deprived of the right to speak out against the conviction.  Again, think for a moment.  What if you, dear readers, were indeed falsely accused and convicted of a crime you did not commit?  Then muzzled by nazi government to speak out against that bogus conviction?

-- For you hopelessly ignorant nazis out there who cluelessly believe all prosecutions are bona fide, this is not about guilt or innocence of Abu-Jamal.  Rather, free speech.  Protected speech.  In a supposedly 'free' country.

In follow up to last week's edition, FBI Director James Comey defended FBI impersonation of an AP reporter and creation of a phony Seattle Times website:    "Every undercover operation involves 'deception,' which has long been a critical tool in fighting crime."

That's precisely why law enforcement has no credibility.  None.  Don't do as I do, do as I say.  Goddamned bullsh-t.  Precisely why outrageously corrupt, abusive, inept, thieving, murderous 'officers' cannot and should not be trusted.  Not all of them are such.  So many, however, there can be no trust.  -- The public has no way of knowing who's lying, who's not.  Credibility, sadly, shot to sh-t.

These outrageously unconstitutional tactics continually backfire, yet, these idiots stand by them.  'Judges' rubber stamp them.  Exquisite example, proof positive aggressive stupidity remains alive and well in the goddamned fascist police-state we now live in.

In follow up to last week's edition, Arnold Abbott, 90, head of Love Thy Neighbor was arrested a second time 10-5-14 for feeding the hungry in nazi Fort Lauderdale, Fla..  Hat's off, Mr. Abbott.  Your actions, heroic.

Things are not going well in Israeli-occupied Jerusalem.  This ancient city is, indeed the center of three of the world's great religions:  Christianity, Judaism, Islam.  Precisely, why this city should belong to no one in particular, but to everyone.  Not to be.  Tensions are rising due to Israeli intransigence regarding an Islamic holy site in occupied territory.  Moslems rightfully fear loss of the site.

Israel Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman blamed Israeli right-wing politicians for exploiting rising tensions:

"I think these are people seeking cheap headlines in this very sensitive atmosphere, trying to cynically exploit a very complex situation."

He was referring to attempts to increase Israeli access to the very same site Israelis also consider sacred.  ... Again, located on Israeli-occupied territory seized during the 1967 war.  What makes this statement so remarkable is the fact that Lieberman himself is a secular ultra-nationalist who has moderated his views recently.

In a step backwards, the International Criminal Court has declared it will not prosecute Israel for war crimes involving the killing of nine aboard the Gaza-bound Mavi Marmara in 2010 by Israeli commandos.  While a prosecutor for the Court states there may very well have been war crimes committed by the Israelis, they are not of "sufficient gravity" to warrant investigation under the Rome Statute.

How about that?  How many killings does it take to warrant investigation?  How many?  This is again proof positive no one remains willing to rein in the Israeli aggressor.  While the United States is most unhappy about recent Israeli plans to build settlements in Jerusalem, it will do nothing to stop its proxy from doing so.

Interestingly, our formerly great country has been most reluctant since 1948 to diplomatically accept which country Jerusalem indeed belongs to.  Thinks it should be decided as part of a final peace settlement.  There will be no peace deal, no settlement of any kind any time soon.  Can't be.  The United States stands in the way by refusing to exert any meaningful influence over or control of its Israeli proxy.  Consequently there can be no settlement or resolution of this conflict.

Also of great interest is the fact that relatively few survivors of the Nazi concentration camps were allowed into the United States after the Second World War.  While hundreds and possibly thousands of Nazis were allowed to emigrate here.  Had their records 'cleansed' by the CIA to allow quick easy passage past immigration officials.

These Nazis had become spies for the United States against the Soviets.  Some of them worked as engineers in the defense and space industries, including NASA.  Fit in well in communities across the country.  One of them?  Reportedly, Werner Von Braun, father of the Saturn V moon rocket.  While these bastards did quite well after the war, not so their surviving concentration camp victims.

Incredibly, despite the fact the camps had indeed been liberated by American troops and the Allies, Jewish inmates reportedly remained virtually incarcerated in these hell holes.  Were not quickly removed.  Worse, U.S. officials appointed many of their Nazi oppressors in these camps to continue supervising them after the camps were liberated.  Why?  Due to the fact the Nazis were such 'good' administrators of the camps during the war.  Pathetic, isn't it?  Incredible as this all sounds, apparently, the abuses continued to some extent well after the war, -- although mass killings had fortunately ended.

This is precisely why the situation in Israel and the rest of the Middle East is not quite so simple as those on the Right would have us believe.  Remains incomprehensibly complex particularly for those who have not lived in the region.  Do not fully truly understand the culture on both sides.   Why solutions will not be easily, readily found.  Exactly, why both sides will remain intransigent.  Why atrocities on both sides will continue for quite some time.  All this must end.  Doesn't appear, however, any way that can happen at the moment.  Regardless, the status quo remains unsustainable.

Subsequent to writing the above, Israelis are now being stabbed to death by Palestinians.  Two of them so far at time of writing.  Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promises he will employ all means possible to quell the violence.  Phony promise.  He can't.  Won't.  Absolutely no willingness on the part of the fascists running Israel to make peace, that is, end the embargo, facilitate Palestinian statehood.  End all new settlements.  Return to pre-1967 borders.  Not likely to happen.

Even if it did, may be too late.  Too much innocent Palestinian blood has been shed at the hands of the Israeli aggressor.  Courtesy of its great benefactor.  A benefactor that willingly, repeatedly looks the other way no matter what its proxy does.  A benefactor that self-servingly seems to have forgotten Israel was founded on commandeered Palestinian territory in 1948 through terror, has been expanding by continuing that theft and terror ever since.

Precisely, why the killing of Israelis will, sadly, continue.  If "Bibi" Netanyahu thinks jackbooted nazi stormtrooper tactics will end the violence, he's catastrophically mistaken.  Will only enable, encourage more of the same.  Do nothing to crush Palestinian resolve.  Quite the opposite.  Indeed, "The Emperor has no clothes."

Corporate greed remains alive and well in the healthcare industry.  NPR in partnership with Kaiser Health News and WBUR reports an MRI of the upper back in Boston ranges from $614 to $1,800.  Why such discrepancy?  Two reasons.  First, unbridled greed.  Second, providers refuse to disclose cost prior to delivery of 'services' so there can be no shopping around for the best price.

Why should they?  You're sheep.  Will put up with anything.  View these greedy bastards as gods.  Remain determined to docilely accept what comes your way.  Will spend your last buck to stay alive one additional second.  Then, you wonder why you're shamelessly soaked?  They do it because they can.  You allow it.

Obamacare facilitates, enables this greed.  Does nothing to rein in prices.  Quite the opposite.  -- How else could the President and his shills get the insurance cartel, providers, and hospitals to go along?  The cost of insurance is going up.  So is the cost of 'services.'  Think this can, will go on forever?  Further proof positive there is no such thing as the 'free' market.  A sham.  The market is owned, operated, manipulated by those with the financial means.

The U.S. Supreme Court has accepted a case challenging the financing of Obamacare government subsidies.  Should how this delivery system truly operates and is financed be ruled unconstitutional, this house of cards based on hopelessly unsustainable assumptions will quickly collapse.  The poor and lower middle class would certainly be incapable of paying unsubsidized insurance premiums.  ... Finally breaking the back of this ill-conceived, unworkable Ponzy scheme craftily designed to line pockets of providers and the insurance cartel.  At expense of those allegedly receiving 'affordable' 'care.'

Pakistanis seem to be no better than Iranians regarding their level of barbarity.  Christians Shama Bibi, 24, and her husband Shahbaz Maseeh, 26, were killed by a mob they worked with after the mob learned Bibi had allegedly burned several verses of the Quran that had belonged to her late father.  These bastards reportedly broke the legs of both so they couldn't run, then burned them alive in an industrial kiln.  The Pakistani government vows to prosecute the offenders.  We'll see.

What in perversely sick religion can drive the human animal to do such despicable, cruel acts to members of its own genus and species?  Think the same extreme result won't occur here as 'Christian' zealots continue to nazify and force their outrageously perverse ideological and religious views on others?  We've already seen abortion providers killed by these sick bastards.  Think there won't be much more of the same as all civil and constitutional rights and liberties remain under vicious attack by those who think they know best and remain haughtily willing to dictate to the rest of us?

Government flak from Superstorm Sandy never ends.   Belle Harbor Manor is an assisted-living center in New York City.  Seems FEMA is demanding a dozen elderly residents return thousands in disaster aid.  On a technicality.  Residents were forced to move to squalid shelters for months after the storm.  Appears our clueless government is not happy they were put in shelters rather than hotels.  Does that make sense?  Does it have to?

While certainly no disaster expert, isn't it true hotels are far more expensive than shelters?  Yet, the idiots in FEMA want the elderly to return disaster money long since spent on food and clothing.  -- Of course, in government, nothing has to make sense since all is systemically ass backwards anyway.  Fortunately, a legal aid group will help them appeal.

Ebola Nurse Kaci Hickox and her boyfriend, Ted Wilbur, will leave Maine shortly after her November 10 travel restrictions end.  Wilbur has withdrawn from nursing school.  Ms. Hickox will likely continue her education:

"I have been over the last couple of days been toying with the idea of maybe getting a doctorate degree and focusing on quarantine law."

You go girl!  Stick it to them.  While not yet clear precisely why they're leaving Maine, seems to have something to do about how they were treated by the community, -- as well as Mr. Wilbur's poor treatment at the hands of his nursing school after Ms. Hickox returned to Maine.  ... After leaving New Jersey and the forced short quarantine fiasco imposed by the Governor.

In what may change some thinking in the emergency medical community, a Florida woman survived without a pulse for 45 minutes after complications arose in a 'routine' cesarean section.  Rare amniotic fluid embolism.  Amniotic fluid had gotten into her bloodstream.  Boca Raton Regional Hospital.  Her team called a code that lasted three hours.  She survived, no brain damage.  Proof positive, no team should ever give up quickly.  Yet, can you imagine the physical effort expended in chest compressions?  How tiring that had to have been?  Even with all the equipment and backup?

Hospital spokesman Thomas Chakurda declared:

"We had called a code that lasted for three hours. She essentially spontaneously resuscitated when we were about to call the time of death."

Doctors had invited the family into the operating room.  Told them they did all they could.

-- Never, ever give up until you're absolutely sure it is indeed over.  Ruby Graupera-Cassimiro, 40, survived.  Gave birth to a baby daughter before the code.  Both doing well.

Experts say doctors often give up too quickly, -- after 20 minutes of chest compressions.  Said they should continue for an hour.  -- An extreme workout for any physician, precisely why a team is necessary.  Even so, has to be incredibly exhausting, yet, lifesaving.

Recently received an email from Planned Parenthood just after the election vis a vis an online petition asking the President to uphold women's rights.  Upon signing it, added the following message to the President:

"It's time to stand up, Mr. President.  Sadly, it's not only the rights of women egregiously deliberately abrogated by the Radical Right at issue here, sir.  All civil and constitutional rights and liberties have been egregiously infringed by the USA 'Patriot' Act, outrageously unconstitutional National 'Security' Letters, warrantless NSA spying on innocent American citizens, a FISA court that remains achingly untransparent and a deliberate affront to the Bill of Rights, expanded new outrageously unconstitutional powers sought by the FBI and other federal agencies demanding changes to rule 41 of the federal rules of criminal procedure falsely in the name of "national 'security,'" etc..  This list can go on and on.  It's time to honor your oath to protect and defend the United States Constitution.

The effort to expose Wells Fargo egregious deceptive trade practices continues.  Several months ago to determinedly apply renewed pressure on our truly worthless, egregiously self-serving Texas Attorney General, now Governor-Elect, an excoriating email was sent to the bastard.  Copies of which were also passed on to both offending Wells Fargo officers.  A copy was also sent to the Davis campaign and others.

Voters did have a right to know as Attorney General, the GOP candidate for Texas Governor apparently selectively investigated, or not, bona fide complaints filed by citizens against banks too big to fail.  Possibly, Wells Fargo could have lined his pockets in some fashion.  That has yet to be determined.

The bastard and his office, no matter what, failed to respond to the complaint originally snail mailed over a year ago.  This material, figuratively targeting Wells Fargo and the governor 'wannabe' now Governor-Elect, had been posted and can be found by scrolling all the way down and clicking on the links well below.

Will continue to do all I can to publicly expose this to all, both in this publication and elsewhere.  Have done precisely that with the following email sent to Mendy Ritchie, President, Marble Falls Rotary Club.  Copies of it were also sent to both offending Wells Fargo employees.  This latest material can be found by clicking onWells Fargo Deceptive Trade Practices Salvo 10, 11-10-14.

-- Despite the fact these businesses were, and are, being egregiously f--ked by these very same bastards.  Tough, isn't it?  Impossible to entertain any sympathy for cowardice, however.  Especially in view of the fact this writer has placed himself in great jeopardy taking on these corrupt, abusive, inept criminal bastards.  Alone.

Exactly, why you see no investigative material highly critical of these sons of bitches in other local rags.  Sadly, cowardly, all advertising income immediately dries up.  Consequently, the bastards continue their criminal chicanery with impunity.  On a rampage.  Thus, you get what you truly deserve.  Always.  Precisely, why this earlier name change to Liberty In Peril remains appropriate.  -- Despite the fact this writer has not yet left the area.  Ten years after originally intending to do so.  Thirty years in this goddamned godforsaken hellhole.

This writer, then and now, remains primarily interested in state, federal, and international issues.  Another reason for this publication name change.  Despite the fact I stupidly cluelessly remain here, local issues must be addressed.  Can't be ignored.  That's where you come in dear readers.  Have the courage to inform this writer of local abuse, corruption, ineptness you are aware of, have personally experienced.

... Information these criminal bastards do all they can to conceal, cover up.  Otherwise, how can they effectively sustain the charade and intended result?  Loot confiscation through a boot heel on the throat of the citizenry.

The only way, short of an unwanted dreaded second American revolution, to force badly-needed change is to expose all this to the light of day.  These bastards are beginning to understand they have a problem.  No question, the growing rage of those they've abused, looted, egregiously f--ked.  It's time to stand up.  Expose this corruption to glaring sunlight.  Otherwise, as fools, cowards, you will remain under their thumb.  From the loftiest business owner to those on the bottom of the food chain.  Wake up.  Grow a pair.

Still don't think that likely to happen.  After all, you're bought and paid for.  Owned.  Not only by your government masters, but their masters.  The corporate management suite.  Your employers.  Think not? Wake up.   You're human chattel.  Corporate-owned, bought and paid for.  Precisely, why you cowardly, compliantly literally bare your asses for corporate inspection by the company doctor.  Willingly, compliantly, cowardly piss in a cup under employer supervision.  To sit in front of a keyboard or stock shelves all day.  You have no control of your lives.  You're owned.  Forget?  For a measly salary, no job security, reduced to no benefits.  At a time of record corporate profits and cash reserves.

Then, you gallingly complain about the oppression as you tolerate egregious theft of your labor.  Not only by your corporate masters, but their bought and paid for government lackeys.  Too cowardly to stand up, allow disclosure of your identity when you rightfully complain to this publication of being mercilessly f--ked.  Some of you falsely arrested, criminally assaulted, bogusly fined for 'offenses' you did not commit.  To line County coffers.  Keep the peasants in line and under control.  A fascist police-state.  Nazi America.

Again, yet another reason why this publication is called Liberty In Peril.  Most galling?  Nothing changes if you fail to step up and challenge corrupt, abusive, inept authority.  Too afraid, cowardly compliant to let the bastards knowwho you are.  Did it ever occur to the cowards out there if the identity of the accuser is kept under wraps the bastards will falsely claim it's all made up by this publication?  Thus, conveniently killing all credibility.  Wake up.

Cowardice is unbecoming, unworthy of our formerly great country.  Insult to injury?  There are the hopelessly deranged who believe the chicanery reported here to be manufactured anyway.  No matter the effort.  No matter the research.  No matter the proof.  Wake up.  This writer cannot do it alone.  Snowball's chance in hell.  Then again, cowardice, delusion is always amply, justly rewarded.  Always. You continue to 'enjoy' the very best government money can buy.  Literally.

JP2 Linda Ballard Recording

Click here for a most interesting conversation between JP2 Linda Ballard and LCRA Communications Supervisor Mitch Hibbs who at the time was investigating a complaint made by the Henderson family against the 'judge.'  The recording had been made by Hibbs and provided by Phyllis Henderson who had gotten it through an open records request.   During the course of the recording you will hear the 'judge' make a terroristic threat against the Henderson family which the investigator laughingly shrugged off as a joke.

Seems former LCRA Ranger Lance Bilski, stepson of Llano County Sheriff Bill Blackburn, had been harassing the Henderson family regarding their tire business, Henderson Tire.  Worse? There are unsubstantiated allegations, that although very much attached, Bilski may have indeed engaged in improprieties, that is, egregiously unprofessional conduct relevant to the Henderson complaint.  All this had been covered in Newsletter Text V346.

Publication of this material, however, should in no way be interpreted as endorsement of Ballard's opponent, Steve Lange, in the upcoming runoff.  It is not.  It is provided as a public service to expose the 'judge' for exactly whom and what she is.
