Missed in the controversy over the Ferguson shooting was a statement made recently by St. Louis Police Chief Sam Dotson in yet another unrelated shooting by two of his officers who fired nine rounds into an alleged shoplifter who allegedly had a knife:

“I think officer safety is the number one issue.”

No Chief, it's not.  Not by a  long shot.  Judgment is.  More accurately, lack thereof.  Something your officers and others across our formerly great country sorely lack.  Two officers couldn't handle this clearly deranged guy without pumping nine rounds into him?  Begging them to kill him.  If unarmed United States Marines can be taught to disarm someone wielding a knife, your boys can't?  Unlike Marines, your jackbooted thugs are armed with Tasers.

Certainly used under a variety of other circumstances where officer safety is not a concern.  Such as the threat made by a still yet unidentified Llano County jackbooted thug who threatened to Taser Buchanan Dam resident Todd Jones.  After the bastard cold cocked him to the head with his hands cuffed behind his back.  Our outrageously corrupt, abusive, inept Sheriff, Bill "The Thrill" Blackburn, still has not identified the son of a bitch.  Why not, Bill?  Protecting this sad excuse for a 'man,' -- like you have Royce Graeter, Les Daughtery, and others?

Nor has the Sheriff taken any disciplinary action to the best knowledge of this publication regarding the criminal assault of Jones by this still unidentified jackbooted thug.  ... Or, Bill, have you promoted the bastard?  Given him a commendation?  -- An insane jackbooted goon, dear readers, who identified himself as 007 to Jones.  Perversely believes he's James Bond.  This represents the quality of 'officers' 'protecting and serving' Llano County citizens.  Aren't we 'lucky?'  'Blessed?'  Indeed, the 'best' law enforcement money can buy.  Literally.  -- The jackbooted bastards, bought and paid for.

Despite growing public opposition to outrageously corrupt, abusive, inept policing across the nation, the police mentality remains remarkably alive and well.  Defended by its clueless perpetrators.  Retired Adams State University Police Chief Joel F. Shults defended the Ferguson police killing in a recent Washington Post article.

The Ferguson case is indeed quite nuanced.  Especially, since witness claims don't match autopsy findings.  ... More on that in a moment.  First, however, Shults justifies six rounds fired into the unarmed kid.  Alleging rapid firing facilitated by the officer's weapon may have supposedly made it difficult for the cop to quickly stop shooting.

Yet, police for decades have complained they don't have enough firepower.  Under some circumstances, indeed, that may be true.  A cop confronted by a thug with a Uzi doesn't stand a chance even armed with a Glock.  How often has that happened, however?  Most of the time the Glock is overkill.  Especially, in the hands of a jackbooted thug who considers himself a soldier rather than a police officer.

At least with the old .38 Police Special revolver the innocent were far less likely to get killed by an insane cop.  Not so, any longer.  ... Hey, Chief?  Think law enforcement jackbooted thugs should now be armed with a Uzi?  Just in case?  Wake up.  It's clueless former officers as yourself that are the  problem.  Not the criminal element, any foreign power, or terrorist organization.

The retired Chief went on to disingenuously opine:

"I don’t blame anyone for being shocked and offended when an armed government agent hurts or kills a civilian. Our humane, visceral reaction easily overshadows cold facts. But facts will define the truth in our courts and the truth is that physics and anatomy make sense of a shooting like Officer Darren Wilson’s encounter with Michael Brown."

Is that right?  Hey, Chief? Wake up.  You, yourself, admitted you are not privy to the facts of the case.  Sounds like you've already made a judgment based on no facts at all.  ... Just your bias as a former officer.  Facts?  Don't think you'd know what 'facts' are if indeed they bit you hard on the ass.  Many, if not most, officers don't.  The police mentality gets in the way.  Jackbooted Aryan arrogance.  Courtesy of near unlimited, highly-abused power.

Conveniently molds 'facts' to fit circumstances and equally conveniently upholds preconceived false assumptions and "gut feelings" embraced by clueless officers enamored of themselves and power accorded them by an equally clueless cowardly public.  That's why there are so many highly questionable killings by police across our formerly great country.  Precisely why outrageously corrupt, abusive, inept officers are nearly always no-billed by grand juries led by Pied Piper prosecutors far more interested in protecting their own than pursuing justice.  Indeed, Nazi America.  A fascist police-state.

Worse, defense attorneys are not provided with funding comparable to outrageously corrupt, abusive 'prosecutors' intent on nailing someone, anyone, rather than the guilty.  That is, money for professional expert witnesses capable of ably refuting prosecution manufactured 'evidence.'  Even worse, 'judges' in the pockets of law enforcement who dictate to defense attorneys what 'proper' legal defense is and limit what may or may not be introduced as evidence in court.  Thus effectively denying defendants adequate defense, ensuring conviction justified or not.  Instead of allowing juries to decide what is and is not reasonable and proper defense.

Regarding increasing public dissatisfaction with highly abusive officers, the retired Chief laid blame on the media.  For what, Chief?  Reporting the truth?  The fact jackbooted law enforcement thugs across our formerly great country are out of control?  This guy remains clueless.  Simply, doesn't get it:

"For many, no facts will invade their opinion. But the current climate of mistrust is not sustainable. To repair the relationship, citizens must calm the rhetoric that assumes our nation’s police ranks are filled with psychotic brutes. Police leaders must take a breath and make innovative efforts to communicate with an unsettled public."

Aren't you indeed talking about yourself, Chief, and your preordained generation and convenient acceptance of such manufactured 'facts' that egregiously cloud your judgment?  More precisely, lack thereof?  It's 'thinking' like yours, Chief, that ensures this problem will not be solved anytime soon.

Will likely result in an unwanted dreaded second American revolution already catastrophically looming on the horizon.  Contrary to your statement above, police ranks are indeed "filled with psychotic brutes."  Certainly, here in Nazi Llano County.  Across the country, as well.  It's time for change.  Accountability.  Now.   Instead of disingenuous phony bullsh-t you condescendingly patronizingly promulgate.  You're out of touch, Chief.  Clueless.

You, Chief, and people who 'think' like you are indeed the problem.  Not, the public that has grown intolerably tired of police corruption, abuse, ineptness, and brutality.  Ever occur to you why the "unsettled public" is unsettled?  Certainly, didn't happen by itself.  Is a direct result of a public sick and tired of being abused, f--ked over by outrageously corrupt, inept, jackbooted law enforcement goons.

It would be egregiously aggressively stupid and cluelessly shortsighted to think the exceptionally strident reaction of protesters in Ferguson was simply solely due to the killing of Michael Brown.  Goes much, much further.  Decades of abusive, corrupt, inept, clueless policing are the true cause of such unrest.  The killing of this kid was simply the trigger.  What is sad is the fact it is not yet clear whether or not the officer was justified.

As mentioned earlier, the Brown family-ordered autopsy findings do not match witness statements the victim was shot in the back.  This is a problem.  Results of two other autopsies conducted by local and federal medical examiners have not been released and will not be for some time.  Nor have results of local and federal investigations been disclosed.  Nor will they be anytime soon.  No matter what, however, six rounds pumped into an unarmed kid will always raise questions as to excessive force.  Always.

This writer is, and will continue to be, a severe critic of autopsies.  Yes, they must be done in cases such as this one.  They are, however, routinely done in deaths where there is no probable cause that a crime has indeed been committed.  That's a problem.  Since they are no more than butchery of a corpse.  Mutilation of a body.  Often performed for no justifiable reason at all due to authorities who falsely believe they own all citizens from cradle to grave.

Most readers do not know how post mortems are conducted and why they are so objectionable.  Particularly, if not done only for justified forensic purposes or by family consent.  To say nothing of prior consent given ahead of time by the deceased in a will.   Precisely, why the following from Life's Little Mysteries Contributor Nicholas Gerbis has been quoted to clearly define and illustrate the procedure:
 

"The autopsy begins with a careful inspection of the body. This can help establish identity, locate evidence or suggest a cause of death. The pathologists weigh and measure the body, noting the subject's clothing, valuables and characteristics such as eye color, hair color and length, ethnicity, sex and age.

"Removing the subject's clothes, they then examine the body, searching for gunpowder residue, paint flakes or other deposits, identifying marks such as scars or tattoos, or injuries. X-rays are sometimes used to reveal bone abnormalities and the locations of bullets or other objects, and ultraviolet light can help detect certain residues. Pathologists may also take samples of hair and nails at this time.

"Throughout the autopsy, the pathologist records everything on a body diagram and in recorded verbal notes.

"... Prior to cutting, the torso is placed on a rubber block, extending the body's arch and providing greater access to the chest and abdomen. If a brain autopsy is also planned, this block will be moved to support the head once the torso work is complete.

"The pathologist begins the chest and abdomen autopsy by making a Y-shaped incision, the two arms of the Y running from each shoulder joint,to meet at mid-chest and the stem of the Y running down to the pubic region. This is one of the aspects of autopsies that movies and television shows get wrong, according to Dr. Ed Uthman, a Texas pathologist who has written a screenwriter's guide to autopsies.

"The most common error is making the trunk incision wrong," Uthman said. "On women, the two arms of the Y are supposed to curve around under the breasts , but in films, they invariably show them straight and above the breasts."

"Also, in both sexes, they make the arms of the Y too short; they actually need to extend all the way up to each shoulder joint," Uthman said.

"The next step is to examine the organs in situ (in place), which means removing the rib cage. Using a saw or a rib cutter (similar in appearance to a small pruning shear), the pathologists cut along the boundary between the ribs and the cartilage connected to the breastbone. Alternatively, they might cut the sides of the chest cavity, leaving the ribs attached to the breastbone and removing the entire frontal ribcage as one chest plate.

"The abdominal examination begins with a pathologist freeing the intestines by cutting along the attachment tissue with scissors or a scalpel.

"If a brain autopsy is called for, the pathologist will make a cut across the crown of the head, from the bony bump behind one ear to the bump behind the other. He or she will then open the cranium using a special saw that cuts bone but leaves soft tissue unharmed.

"Once each organ has been examined within the body, it is removed, weighed and examined in further detail. Sometimes organs are removed individually, a procedure referred to as the Virchow technique; other times, they are removed as a connected group, via the Rokitansky technique.

"... Following examination, the organs are either returned to the body (minus the pieces preserved for future work or evidence) or cremated, in accordance with the law and the family's wishes. The breastbone and ribs are also usually put back.

"Prior to being sewn shut with the characteristic "baseball stitch," the body is lined with cotton wool or a similar material. If the organs are to be returned to the body, they are first placed in bags to prevent leakage. The body is then sewn shut, washed and prepared for the funeral director."

Want this done to the body of your loved one?  For no reason at all?  No probable cause or legitimate reason for doing so?  Think the government owns the corpse?  Legally entitled to do as it pleases?  As survivors you have no say.  The goddamned government does as it pleases.  Rules vary state to state.

According to MedicineNet:

"A medical examiner can order an autopsy without the consent of the next-of-kin. Deaths that are investigated by the medical examiner or coroner include all suspicious deaths, and, depending upon the jurisdiction, may include deaths of persons not being treated by a physician for a known medical condition, deaths of those who have been under medical care for less than 24 hours, or deaths that occurred during operations or other medical procedures."

As clearly demonstrated by the above, authorities require no legitimate probable cause to do as they please.  You have no say before death vis a vis a will.  Nor do your survivors after your death.  This power is too pervasive and not subject to control or oversight.  When there is no legitimate probable cause to believe a crime has indeed been committed, this is no more than butchery, mutilation of a corpse, at the whim of our government masters who clearly own the human chattel they control, -- even after death.

Despite the fact Michael Brown's body was butchered by three autopsies, the results of at least the one ordered by the family is inconclusive regarding whether or not the officer was justified in pumping six rounds into his body.  While the cause of death was apparently obvious in this particular case, that is the round to the top of the skull, in some post mortems the cause of death has never been determined.

It's time to reexamine nearly unlimited power granted medical examiners, as well as how and when post mortems should be conducted.  Time to rein in the butchers.

See the video of the St. Louis County Police Department officer pointing his semi automatic rifle at protesters in Ferguson and advising them:  “I will [expletive] kill you.”  When the thug was asked for his name responded, “Go [expletive] yourself.”  The identity of this insane son of a bitch is Lt. Ray Albers.  Not just an ordinary jackbooted law enforcement thug, however.  Indeed, police brass.  'Leadership.'  At the time, a sergeant wisely forced him to lower his weapon.  Ushered him away.

The protester had his hands up in the air. Was peaceful according to police sources.  -- Sources who also indicated the rifle was raised "after a verbal exchange." It's called the First Amendment.  Protected speech.  Right to peacefully assemble and seek redress of grievances.  Jackbooted 'officers' call it "mouthing off."  ... Hey, guys?  ... Most ferociously directed at the most hopelessly achingly ignorant of you clueless sons of bitches?  "You 'ain't' 'seen' 'nuttin' yet."  Wake up.  Smarten up.  Time to serve the people you've sworn to serve and protect.  Instead of yourselves you achingly clueless, worthless, corrupt, abusive, hopelessly inept, insane sons of bitches.

The bastard was suspended.  Not arrested.  Interesting, isn't it?  A double standard.  Any ordinary citizen doing such would have quickly been arrested, cuffed, and hauled to jail.  Rightfully, so.  Can't tolerate that behavior from anyone in society, including police.  Pressure has been quite intense on Lt. Albers.  The jackbooted thug wisely resigned.  Not fit to be an officer.  Twenty years in the Department.  Bet he'll quickly be hired elsewhere?  Someone else's problem?  Never prosecuted for his crime?  A double standard.  A fascist police-state.   Nazi America.

Land of the free?  Home of the brave? Hell, no.  Land of the enslaved, indentured, owned.  Home of the cowardly, repressed, oppressed, compliant.  Nazi America.  ... A raucous, goosestepping, bootclicking, treasonous, traitorous Sieg Heil!, Sheriff?  Your jackbooted bastards remain out of uniform. Where are their swastika armbands?

A $40 million lawsuit has been filed against Ferguson police by five protesters.  Tough, isn't it?  Nowhere near enough, however.  It's time to force desperately-needed change.  One peaceful way is to file lawsuit after lawsuit.  Do all one can to bankrupt communities cowardly tolerating outrageously corrupt, abusive, hopelessly inept police.

Place enormous pressure on legislators on both state and federal levels to change sovereign immunity statutes protecting these criminals.  Strike now when the iron is hot.  Hold them accountable for their crimes.  Force 'prosecutors' out of office who protect these corrupt, abusive sons of bitches.  Meaning many, if not most prosecutors need to go.  They serve themselves and their law enforcement cronies, certainly not justice, the Constitution and public they've falsely sworn to uphold, protect and serve.

SWAT teams will now apparently be civilly held accountable for their crimes.  The U.S. Second Court of Appeals in New York ruled plaintiffs can sue.  -- In a case where these jackbooted thugs pumped a half dozen rounds into an innocent citizen killing him.  Police argue they should not be held accountable.  Why not?  Why weren't the sons of bitches arrested for murdering an innocent citizen?  Why not?  Who protects us against these goddamned criminals wearing a badge, a uniform, with a license to effectively wantonly kill?  With impunity.

Approximately 1,000 Russian troops rolled into Ukraine recently, -- leaving no doubt Russia is directly involved, clearly fighting on the side of Ukrainian rebels.  The West remains clueless, powerless, incapable of effectively responding to a threat highly reminiscent of late 1930s Nazi Germany.  The United States and Germany have been cowardly leading this egregiously ineffective response to an increasingly dire threat to the stability of Europe.

Not even talking about unnecessary direct military involvement here, but failure of the United States, Europe, and the world community to cut off all trade, diplomatic relations with the Russian aggressor.  Totally isolate Putin and his henchmen.  Won't do so for cowardly, self-serving reasons.  That is, severe economic impact, particularly to the European economy.

While the Second World War ended nearly 70 years ago and most alive today were not at the time, have they no knowledge of the history of that most dangerous and costly era in history?  Have no clue Russian expansion will indeed have ultimate dire consequences similar to that imposed by the Nazis if unchecked?

This latest fiasco has certainly made Obama and Merkel look like idiots.  ... The UN exactly like the hopelessly ineffective organization it truly is.  When will members vote to change the charter and make it possible for aggressor nations to be suspended and/or expelled upon General Assembly vote?  Move UN headquarters to some neutral, unoccupied island somewhere else on planet earth?

The United States, Russians, Chinese, and others for years have played the UN for the ineffective fool it continues to be.  Especially, concertedly on behalf of its proxies, -- including the United States and its Israeli aggressor proxy.  To say nothing of Russian and Chinese refusal to rein in nuclear proliferation from their proxies.  Time for that to change.  Otherwise, the UN will continue to be egregiously ineffective, indeed a colossal waste of time, money, and effort to accomplish virtually nothing.  ... Other than meaningless talk.

Ever closely listen to GOP Rep. Paul Ryan?  Hear what he truly has to say?  This man is quite astute.  Knows damn well Republicans are failing to attract Independents and the young.  Carefully, continually massages the message.  Quickly retreats and regroups when themes such as the "makers" vs. the "takers" backfire and leave him holding the bag.

This man has clearly embraced the Atlas Shrugged mentality of Ayn Rand.  Indeed, a long most fascinating book approximately 800 pages based on faulty discredited capitalistic assumptions and unbridled greed.  Has, however, become the more 'progressive' bible of supposedly new 'thinking' in the GOP community.  The problem with this supposedly new thinking is it goes back decades, is nothing new, and has been pointedly, poignantly soundly discredited.  Think not?  Think again.

-- Current corporate practices such as reduction of employee status to part time to avoid paying full salary and benefits.  ... Company-funded pension plans scrapped for 401k's that have had their funding gutted or raided by the corporate management suite.  -- Scrapping of company-provided medical insurance in favor of taxpayer-supported Obamacare.

... Change of corporate culture to discourage vacation and sick time.  -- Placing employees on call.  ... When they get there and turn out to be unneeded get immediately sent home, -- unpaid.  Only the very tip of these corporate abuses and blatant greed has been addressed here.  Could go on and on.

... While the corporate management suite and shareholders enjoy record profits and compensation off the backs of those who do the work and get egregiously f-- d for their efforts in return.  The American Way.  Precisely, why capitalism appears to be dying on the vine, -- of old age and its egregious excesses.  Unbridled greed.

Contrary to Michael Douglas and his acclaimed Wall Street movie years ago, greed is not good.  It figuratively kills.  Maims.  Sometimes literally should it trigger an unwanted dreaded second American revolution.  Or, is indirectly responsible for crime.

Ryan, as other new breed national socialists, has creatively come up with, that is, coined new colorful phrases and terminology for the same old crap.  He now wants a "Culture Of Inclusion" to confront seemingly endless poverty.  Wants block grant federal funding of poverty programs.  There are two problems with this not-so-cleverly articulated non-approach.

The first is it would grant too much local control and manipulation of who gets what, when, where, and how much.  This leads to favoritism, abuse of power as local officials connive to get their way and control, sorely manipulate those getting the goodies.  Precisely, why so much power, indeed too much power, has been grabbed by, relegated to federal officials in the last forty years or so.  Directly as a result of local officials abusing power, lining their pockets, taking care of cronies, and manipulating a gullible public.

The sad, sad, most tragic truth is government at all levels is egregiously unfit, incapable of wisely governing.  Indeed, a real conundrum since repressive government is far better than none at all, that is, anarchy.  Precisely, why revolutions always promulgate new leadership rather than none at all.  Most of the time, however, turn out worse than what had been.

The second problem with the Congressman's non-approach is it is achingly beside the point.  Puts a Band-Aid on an arterial wound.  Placates Ryan's corporate masters who deftly control him through lobbyist loot and other goodies.  Shifts responsibility from the corporate management suite that is truly responsible for all poverty in this country and conveniently shifts it to overburdened taxpayers, that is, the bottom and quickly shrinking middle class.  Slyly gets them to partially finance the impoverished, that is scatter a few crumbs, instead of forcing the corporate culture to part with some of the loot.  That is, expand the job market.

Gallingly at a time of record corporate profits and cash reserves.  Equally pointedly, at a time when the hopelessly greedy corporate management suite desperately seeks to move corporate headquarters overseas to traitorously evade U.S. corporate taxes.  Endless greed is indeed the prime mover of the corporate culture.  Precisely, why an unwanted, dreaded second American revolution remains catastrophically looming on the horizon.

Saddest of all, Ryan wants religious charities to decide how and where money is spent.  This is a problem since proselytism always rears its ugly head.  If you're impoverished, do not believe their religious message, won't kowtow to their beliefs and rules for living, guess what?  Surprise, surprise.  You get denied.  Precisely, why Ryan is apparently promulgating block grants to get around the First Amendment proscription against establishment of religion.  A back door to eviscerate church-state separation.

Another misconception promulgated by the Right must be exposed for the bullsh-t it truly is.  That is, the bottom and middle class pay little to no taxes.  That is simply not true.  They certainly pay sales taxes.  Real estate taxes either through property they own or rent.  All kinds of licensing and other governmental fees including user fees that are taxes.  The list can go on and on.

The rich and the corporate management suite, on the other hand, pay reduced taxes since most of their income is as a result of investment, not employment, taxed at a much lower rate.  They also enjoy deductions that those beneath them on the foodchain can only dream of.  Again, the list, that is the disparity, can indeed go on and on.  Coup de grace?  The fact these bastards are increasingly and traitorously evading taxes by moving overseas.

Emboldened by cowardly failure of the world community to impose sanctions on the Israeli aggressor for the 2,000 killed in Gaza and wanton devastation of the Strip in the most recent war, the Israelis have announced plans to steal an additional 1,000 acres in the Palestinian West Bank.  For new Israeli settlements.

Proof positive the only alternative left Palestinians is to continue fighting the bastards.  Hellacious casualties, no more than a massacre, indeed have a perverse way of ultimately enflaming the world community, pressuring the aggressor, -- eventually.  Precisely, why it was clearly a mistake for Hamas to agree to a recent ceasefire that effectively leaves an unacceptable status quo in place.  Clear proof is quick seizure of the additional 1,000 acres of Palestinian territory.  Effectively ending any hope of a two-state solution.

While the Brits have condemned this theft, the United States remains silent at time of writing, 9-1-14.  American support of the Israeli aggressor no matter what it does is clearly the problem.  Precisely, why the violence will continue indefinitely.  Netanyahu has indeed made a fool of the President, Kerry, and the rest of Obama's henchmen.

Hat's off, Bibi!  While you're indeed a war criminal and our son of a bitch, you've certainly got the While House securely gripped by the balls, not-so-gently giving them a severe hard twist every now and then as needed to keep the bastards goosestepping in line as well as in your pocket.  Saddest of all?  The American public is too damned stupid to see past the ruse.

 U.S District Judge Lee Yeakel  threw out new abortion clinic restrictions that would have required hospital-level operating standards.  Outrageously unnecessary for women's safety as nonetheless falsely claimed by the Governor and the nazis in the Legislature responsible for imposing them.  The Judge found no merit.  Would have closed twelve clinics, leaving seven for the entire state.  No question an undue burden on women seeking such care.

The Governor and his fellow fascists in the Legislature couldn't care less about the health of women.  Only wish to impose their outrageously perverse ideological and religious views on them.  Continue to effectively practice medicine without a license.  After all, the 'lil' woman is too damned stupid to decide for herself.  They'll decide for her.  So think "The Prick" and his fellow nazis in the Legislature.

The Texas Attorney General has already appealed.  Further proof he is unfit to be Governor.  Has no clue Roe v. Wade is constitutional, remains the law of the land.  Worse, has egregiously failed to uphold his oath to protect and defend that very same Constitution, including the right of women to secure an abortion unhindered by nazis in government desperate to impose their ideological and religious views on them.  A raucous Sieg Heil!, Governor?  Mr. Attorney General?

Kangaroo justice remains alive and well in Gitmo.  Maj. Jason Wright resigned his commission recently.  Effectively forced to by the United States government.  Apparently, to remove legal counsel a bit too effective and willing to ferociously challenge the kangaroo nature of the commission.  Was one of several attorneys representing self-proclaimed 9/11 mastermind, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed.

Wright described the commission as a "show trial."  Pointedly, accused the government of "abhorrent leadership" vis a vis human rights.  You think?  Couldn't be, could it?  Readers are reminded Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, aka KSM, was waterboarded 183 times.  To say nothing of other torture and abuse inflicted.  -- Japanese Gen. Tomoyuki Yamishita was executed for war crimes at the end of the Second World War.  Including waterboarding of American POWs by his troops.  ... How is it legal for CIA goons to do the same?

Wright stated there was far more that he couldn't talk about.  The government is doing all it can to keep abuse and torture top secret.  Has nothing to do with national security.  Rather, it's done to protect the sorry asses of the criminal bastards responsible for committing these atrocities.  He accuses the government of planting listening devices disguised as smoke detectors in meeting rooms provided for lawyer-client consultation.  Equally pointedly?  Defense counsel has been unduly pressured, influenced, and compromised by government agents allegedly investigating leaks.  Indeed, a crock of sh-t.

Consider some of the comments of the Major:

"So not only do you have statutory design, but you actually have, in practice, a very large effort to try to ensure that no information about torture is ever made known in public.  ... The U.S. government is trying to call this a fair trial, while stacking the deck so much against the defense and the accused that it can hardly be called a fair trial in any system in the world."

He accuses the government of determinedly trying to:

"set up secret military courts outside of public review and outside of due process.  ... Leave aside our constitutional principles — which we should try to uphold irrespective of who the defendant may be — the Constitution has been completely stepped on throughout this entire process.  ... That's a separate and distinct issue of how the U.S. now has shown just abhorrent leadership when it comes to actually following essential, fundamental human rights and due-process guarantees.  ... We have a system where if someone's acquitted, they will not be set free.  That is actually the very definition of a show trial."

Worse?  Far worse?  It's nazi justice in Nazi America.  The government has deliberately concertedly compromised the military.  No matter how Gitmo turns out, egregious damage has already been done.  We have no principles.  Honor?  What's that?  Don't practice what we preach.  Certainly, have no credibility in the Middle East and many other places throughout the world.  Our government has betrayed its citizenry, to say nothing of the legacy of the Founders.  Nazi America.  Adolph and Benito would have been proud.  Must be laughing their fiery asses off in amazement.

At time of writing, 9-2-14, ISIS savages have reportedly beheaded yet another American journalist, Steven Sotloff.  It's time Mr. President to get a clue, develop a strategy for effectively dealing with this scourge.  While the Israeli aggressor certainly needs to be reined in, it will take far more to end the murderous rampage of ISIS.

To sadly think all this might have been avoided had the Israeli aggressor been reined in back in 1948 and in the decades to come.  Instead of haughtily granted carte blanche to do as it pleases.  Now, the consequences of that failure will sadly result in far more blood, loss of treasure.  As these lunatics are permanently removed from the battlefield one by one.  At enormous cost.  For the foreseeable future.

The name of this publication was changed some ten years ago from The Llano Ledger to Liberty In Peril.  The reason?  Simple.  Cowardly failure of this community to stand up to tyranny that has only exponentially worsened the last decade.  Clearly, demonstrated as well by the cowardly failure of businesses to financially support this publication.  Either through advertising or other financial support.  Too afraid doing so would enrage the bastards who run and own this hellhole County.

-- Despite the fact these businesses were, and are, being egregiously f--ked by these very same bastards.  Tough, isn't it?  Impossible to entertain any sympathy for cowardice, however.  Especially in view of the fact this writer has placed himself in great jeopardy taking on these corrupt, abusive, inept criminal bastards.  Alone.

Exactly, why you see no investigative material highly critical of these sons of bitches in other local rags.  Sadly, cowardly, all advertising income immediately dries up.  Consequently, the bastards continue their criminal chicanery with impunity.  On a rampage.  Thus, you get what you truly deserve.  Always.  Precisely, why this earlier name change to Liberty In Peril remains appropriate.  -- Despite the fact this writer has not yet left the area.  Ten years after originally intending to do so.  Thirty years in this goddamned godforsaken hellhole.

This writer, then and now, remains primarily interested in state, federal, and international issues.  Another reason for this publication name change.  Despite the fact I stupidly cluelessly remain here, local issues must be addressed.  Can't be ignored.  That's where you come in dear readers.  Have the courage to inform this writer of local abuse, corruption, ineptness you are aware of, have personally experienced.

... Information these criminal bastards do all they can to conceal, cover up.  Otherwise, how can they effectively sustain the charade and intended result?  Loot confiscation through a boot heel on the throat of the citizenry.

The only way, short of an unwanted dreaded second American revolution, to force badly-needed change is to expose all this to the light of day.  These bastards are beginning to understand they have a problem.  No question, the growing rage of those they've abused, looted, egregiously f--ked.  It's time to stand up.  Expose this corruption to glaring sunlight.  Otherwise, as fools, cowards, you will remain under their thumb.  From the loftiest business owner to those on the bottom of the food chain.  Wake up.  Grow a pair.

Still don't think that likely to happen.  After all, you're bought and paid for.  Owned.  Not only by your government masters, but their masters.  The corporate management suite.  Your employers.  Think not? Wake up.   You're human chattel.  Corporate-owned, bought and paid for.  Precisely, why you cowardly, compliantly literally bare your asses for corporate inspection by the company doctor.  Willingly, compliantly, cowardly piss in a cup under employer supervision.  To sit in front of a keyboard or stock shelves all day.  You have no control of your lives.  You're owned.  Forget?  For a measly salary, no job security, reduced to no benefits.  At a time of record corporate profits and cash reserves.

Then, you gallingly complain about the oppression as you tolerate egregious theft of your labor.  Not only by your corporate masters, but their bought and paid for government lackeys.  Too cowardly to stand up, allow disclosure of your identity when you rightfully complain to this publication of being mercilessly f--ked.  Some of you falsely arrested, criminally assaulted, bogusly fined for 'offenses' you did not commit.  To line County coffers.  Keep the peasants in line and under control.  A fascist police-state.  Nazi America.

Again, yet another reason why this publication is called Liberty In Peril.  Most galling?  Nothing changes if you fail to step up and challenge corrupt, abusive, inept authority.  Too afraid, cowardly compliant to let the bastards know who you are.  Did it ever occur to the cowards out there if the identity of the accuser is kept under wraps the bastards will falsely claim it's all made up by this publication?  Thus, conveniently killing all credibility.  Wake up.

Cowardice is unbecoming, unworthy of our formerly great country.  Insult to injury?  There are the hopelessly deranged who believe the chicanery reported here to be manufactured anyway.  No matter the effort.  No matter the research.  No matter the proof.  Wake up.  This writer cannot do it alone.  Snowball's chance in hell.  Then again, cowardice, delusion is always amply, justly rewarded.  Always.  You continue to 'enjoy' the very best government money can buy.  Literally.

JP2 Linda Ballard Recording

Click here for a most interesting conversation between JP2 Linda Ballard and LCRA Communications Supervisor Mitch Hibbs who at the time was investigating a complaint made by the Henderson family against the 'judge.'  The recording had been made by Hibbs and provided by Phyllis Henderson who had gotten it through an open records request.   During the course of the recording you will hear the 'judge' make a terroristic threat against the Henderson family which the investigator laughingly shrugged off as a joke.

Seems former LCRA Ranger Lance Bilski, stepson of Llano County Sheriff Bill Blackburn, had been harassing the Henderson family regarding their tire business, Henderson Tire.  Worse? There are unsubstantiated allegations, that although very much attached, Bilski may have indeed engaged in improprieties, that is, egregiously unprofessional conduct relevant to the Henderson complaint.  All this had been covered in Newsletter Text V346.

Publication of this material, however, should in no way be interpreted as endorsement of Ballard's opponent, Steve Lange, in the upcoming runoff.  It is not.  It is provided as a public service to expose the 'judge' for exactly whom and what she is.
