Texas Gov. Rick "The Prick" Perry indicted.  Two felony counts.  Coercion of a public servant, abuse of official capacity.  Who'd 'a 'thunk' it, no?  Couldn't be, could it?  The Governor, couldn't, wouldn't abuse authority, would he?  Would be out of character, wouldn't it?  Sarcasm aside, finally some semblance of justice.  For an Aryan arrogant fuhrer determined to impose his perverse ideological and religious views on all.

Most ironic?  The fascist bastard, in principle, was right regarding his chagrin with Travis County District Attorney Rosemary Lehmberg.  Indeed, this sad excuse for a 'prosecutor' pled guilty to a drunk driving charge.  Approximately, three times the blood alcohol legal limit.  Made an absolute jackass of herself while arrested.  Highly abusive.  Refused to do the right thing and immediately resign in disgrace.  Indeed, not fit for office.  Needed to go.  Still does.  Outrageously, there is no reliable provision for forcing criminal prosecutors out of office.  The same true, for criminal law enforcement.

Had the Governor any brains, savvy, judgment, etc., however, would have simply, quietly, wisely vetoed some $7.5 million in funding for a public integrity agency managed by this 'prosecutor.'  Would likely have thus gotten rid of her.  Been ultimately able to replace her.  Not to be.  Certainly, not for a Governor no more than a corrupt, abusive, national socialist himself determined to impose his perverse ideological and religious views on all.

The outrageous Aryan arrogance of this bastard, indeed, dictated otherwise, leading to the indictment.  Simply can't grasp the fact no governor can lawfully, constitutionally abuse his power to force resignation of another public official.  For whatever the reason.  Did precisely that, however.  Threatened the veto if she did not resign.  Publicly.  Aggressive stupidity at its very worst.  What could he possibly been thinking?

"The Prick" still doesn't get it.  Clueless.  Thinks his indictment "outrageous," a "farce," a result of "out of control" government:

"This indictment amounts to nothing more than abuse of power and I cannot and will not allow that to happen."

What will you do, Governor?  Stamp your feet?  Unconstitutionally, illegally fire the special prosecutor?  Declare martial law?  Call up the National Guard?  What is truly a farce?  The kettle calling the pot black.  The hypocrisy, unbridled hubris of this guy, stunning.  Want to see "out of control" government, Rick?  Look in the mirror.

While not surprising Republicans would quickly support "The Prick" no matter what he does or doesn't due vis a vis the law and Constitution, amazing that former Democratic Obama political adviser David Axelrod would also so quickly criticize the indictment.  Amusingly, this guy may fear the same for the President regarding abuse of Executive power.  What webs we weave.  Both political parties.  Power, indeed, a most powerful intoxicant.  Must be controlled.  Reined in.

Defense attorney David Botsford was hired by the Governor last April to handle the matter.  Paid $450 an hour at expense of looted taxpayers.  Now that the Governor has been indicted, why should that continue?  It's a criminal indictment.  Why shouldn't the Governor pay for criminal defense counsel himself?  Like others financially capable of doing so?  "The Prick" is certainly not indigent.  No pauper.  Why should he receive special treatment simply because he is Governor?  Why?

Worse, the corrupt, abusive bastard is receiving special treatment from the judicial system.  Won't be arrested as others indicted.  Instead, he'll receive a summons.  Convenient, isn't it?  Will be spared the perp walk.  How is it constitutional for a government official to receive such special treatment denied a peasant?

The Governor has indeed concertedly, consistently forced his outrageously perverse ideological and religious views on others, particularly, women.  Promulgated and signed into law outrageously unconstitutional legislation in effect forcing unwilling physicians to sexually assault women seeking an abortion vis a vis medically unnecessary invasive trans vaginal sonograms.

Promulgated and signed into law legislation forcing abortion clinics to close due to deliberately, concertedly imposed medically unnecessary requirements.  Not to protect women, however, but to unconstitutionally unlawfully restrict their right to an abortion.  The Governor should have been removed from office and prosecuted.  For his war on women, alone.  Not to be in Nazi Texas.  Certainly, not in Nazi America.

Now, however, the Governor will apparently get his.  Maybe.  Possibly.  If so, about time.  Without question, the Nazi Right believes it can, and will, do as it pleases in power.  Has certainly done so up to this point.  Hopefully, that will change.  Amazing how easily national socialists force their perverse ideological and religious views on others.  -- While shamelessly screaming bloody murder when held to account themselves.  Tough, isn't it?  Profound hypocrisy, hubris.

Readers are reminded of the Governor's treatment of a female state trooper years ago when she advised him of a parking problem caused by him and his entourage.  Had it been anyone else, the trooper would have hauled his sorry ass to jail for disorderly conduct.  Should have.  Certainly, remains proof positive of "The Prick's" disregard for the law, double standard vis a vis its enforcement, and lack of respect for women.

Saddest of all?  Some Democrats are indeed sympathetic to this abusive son of a bitch.  Apparently, afraid the same may happen to them, -- and their President who has haughtily assumed Executive powers the Constitution has clearly reserved the Legislative Branch alone.  No matter the fact Congress remains in logjam.

See the mug shot of the Governor taken 8-19-14?  Think that smug, 'cat that ate the canary' look will remain should his shysters not get the indictment thrown out?

The situation in Ferguson sadly deteriorated over the weekend.  Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon Monday 8-18-14 called out the National Guard.  While indeed the only thing worse than abusive government is anarchy, the Governor has clearly not carefully thought through this decision.  Militarization of police throughout our formerly great country has exacerbated matters in Ferguson and throughout the nation.  Now, Mr. Nixon intends to bring in troops.  Seems to be jumping from the frying pan into the fire.

Interestingly, the approach of the Right, and their shills in law enforcement, has always been all or nothing.  No shades of gray.  No brilliant hues of color.  Friday night 8-15-14 police watched looters break into a convenience store at the center of the controversy.  Did nothing about it.  Protesters took it upon themselves to stop looters.  -- Apparently, if police can't act as jackbooted thugs, they won't do anything at all.  Including, arrest of looters.

Fox News hit the problem right on the head, publishing the following 8-16-14:

"Former St. Louis County Police Chief Tim Fitch tweeted: "You did not see "police restraint" overnight. You saw police reluctant to act. We cannot keep stoning the keepers at the gate."

This is outrageous disingenuous bullsh-t.  Promulgated by a former chief, egregiously unfit to be an officer, never mind a chief of police.  If the bastards can't do as they please, they'll do nothing at all?  Make the people pay?  -- The outrageously perverse police mentality  that is bringing our formerly great country to its knees.  Has been doing so at least the last fifty years.  Precisely, why demonstrators have not backed off in Ferguson.  Clearly, they've had enough.

Looting, rioting, firebombing businesses is not only outrageously unlawful, but ineffective, unproductive, stupid.  Worse, not only maintains an unacceptable status quo, but worsens matters.  Exponentially.  Even the Governor has called off the curfew, knows its pointless, will only exacerbate the violence.  Demonstrators have the constitutional right to stridently but peacefully protest.

Should these military tactics employed by police continue, it will trigger an unwanted, dreaded second American revolution already catastrophically looming on the horizon.  At the same time, police must do their duty and arrest looters and people committing acts of violence.  Indeed, a most delicate balance.

A private autopsy paid for by the Brown family indicates the young man was shot six times, twice in the head.  The round to the top of his skull was likely the fatal shot.  Already an attorney for the family is taking matters much further than the hired medical examiner.  Is calling for the arrest of Officer Darren Wilson, the shooter.  Based on the autopsy alone.  Clearly, not enough.

The clothing was not made available by the police department to the hired medical examiner prior to the post mortem.  Absolutely critical to know whether or not there is gun powder residue, -- to determine the distance the victim was shot from.  To see if witness claims are credible.  Toxicology results will also take some time to return.  How about the shooter?  Has he undergone toxicology screening after the killing?  Still not clear.  Police continue to sit on much information.

Law enforcement is indeed correct when it states it does takes time to conduct a thorough investigation.  The problem with that is law enforcement has absolutely no credibility across our formerly great country.  None.  None at all.  Too many times outrageously corrupt, abusive, criminal cops have been conveniently unjustly exonerated.  The fact the FBI is investigating is small comfort.  They're no better.  What is desperately needed is change.  Top-down.  Bottom-up.  May eventually happen as a result of the tumult in Ferguson.  Certainly, hope so.

Compounding matters is the absolutely appalling aggressive stupidity of the Ferguson Police Department.  Not only did it finally release the name of the officer responsible for the shooting days after the fact, at the very same time it released a video of the victim allegedly robbing a convenience store.  Nothing corroborated, however.

Even if true, totally irrelevant to the shooting since the officer was not aware of the robbery at the time he killed Brown.  Apparently, the bastards in the police department did so to cover their sorry asses.  Only exacerbated matters leading to the exponential increase of violence Friday night 8-15-14, however.

The unvarnished truth needs to come out.  Sans all bullsh-t and spin.  Both sides.  Is this possible?  Certainly, hope so.  Will it happen?  Highly doubtful, -- if past history any indication.  If it doesn't, authorities will have far worse to deal with.  An unwanted, dreaded second American revolution catastrophically looming on the horizon for years.

Gestapo police tactics continue in Ferguson.  Sunday morning approximately 2 AM 8-17-17 Joshua Hampton, his girlfriend, and her friend were sitting in a car on private property.  His aunt's property.  Smoking a cigarette and talking.  Private property.  A truckload of cops in military attire, clinging to the sides of the truck spotted the car, stopped, and surrounded it.  “Put your f--king hands up!,” they told him.  On Private property.  In Nazi America.

Hauled their asses to jail.  When asked why?  "Curfew."  On goddamned private property.  Jackbooted thugs.  No authority.  No exigent circumstances.  No probable cause.  Nazi America.  A fascist police-state.  The pending charge, now, “failure to disperse.”  On private property.  Disperse to where?  They were on private property.

These jackbooted thugs are an exigent threat to freedom.  Have no conception of what liberty is.  Will ultimately trigger an unwanted dreaded second American revolution.  No foreign aggressor, no terrorist organization, no criminal element remain a greater threat to freedom, liberty, all civil and constitutional rights than out of control, corrupt, abusive, inept law enforcement.

Law enforcement is waging a war against news reporting in Ferguson.  As of 8-19-14, eleven reporters have been arrested.  Clearly, corrupt, abusive jackbooted thugs wish to hide their criminal behavior.  Including firing rubber bullets at fleeing protesters.  Arresting innocent citizens.  The media needs to sue the living sh-t out of these bastards.  Send a message.

What is interesting and extremely frightening at the same time is many, if not most of those doing the looting, engaging in violence are from elsewhere in the country.  This, according to state trooper Capt. Ron Johnson now in charge of security in Ferguson.  What does that tell you?  Anything at all?  Possibly, that disgruntlement extends well beyond Ferguson?

Maybe.  Maybe, not.  Police for years have summarily blamed profound discontent on "outside agitators."  Johnson, who seems to be a top notch officer, claimed 31 were arrested overnight 8-19-14.  Turns out jail records reportedly show 78.  While there may indeed be some coming from out of state, most of those arrested are Ferguson locals.  Yet, Johnson blamed the violence and looting on outsiders.  Doesn't seem to be letting up, either.  Far more than the recent Brown killing is certainly fueling the fire.

Such highly questionable killings perpetrated by officers are a nationwide problem.  Extend well beyond racial profiling and prejudice of officers, however.  We have at least three highly questionable killings by officers in the Llano County area the last ten years that don't seem to have racial overtones.  The problem is out of control cops who get their cookies off abusing power, citizens innocent or otherwise.  A cancer that sometimes leads to unjustified killings.

The "police mentality" is at the root of most public disgruntlement with outrageously corrupt, abusive, inept officers.  LA police officer Sunil Dutta has been a cop 17 years.  Is also a professor of homeland security at Colorado Tech University.  This officer is a perfect example of what's gone so terribly wrong with policing in our formerly great country.

The Aryan arrogance, hubris of this cop is precisely why police-community relations have deteriorated across the nation.  Officer Dutta in a 8-19-14 Washington Post article disingenuously downplays police responsibility for increased violence and abuse of citizens:

"It is also a terrible calumny; cops are not murderers. No officer goes out in the field wishing to shoot anyone, armed or unarmed. And while they’re unlikely to defend it quite as loudly during a time of national angst like this one, people who work in law enforcement know they are legally vested with the authority to detain suspects — an authority that must sometimes be enforced. Regardless of what happened with Mike Brown, in the overwhelming majority of cases it is not the cops, but the people they stop, who can prevent detentions from turning into tragedies."

This cop conveniently ignores case after case such as the recent choke hold killing of a citizen by New York's 'finest.'  Many, many other cases across the country where officers physically assault citizens while they are cuffed.  ... Such as the recent sucker blow to the head endured by Buchanan Dam resident Todd Jones, -- while his hands were cuffed behind his back.  By a cowardly still unidentified jackbooted Llano County Deputy.  Whose identity has been protected by Sheriff Bill Blackburn.  ... The thug at the time of the assault insanely 'identified' himself as 007 after criminally assaulting Jones.

Insult to injury LA Officer Dutta disingenuously opines:

"Even though it might sound harsh and impolitic, here is the bottom line: if you don’t want to get shot, tased, pepper-sprayed, struck with a baton or thrown to the ground, just do what I tell you."

The arrogance of this son of a bitch is precisely why an unwanted dreaded second American revolution catastrophically looms on the horizon.  This bastard remains clueless, oblivious to the fact his attitude, that is, the "police mentality" betrayed by the last quote is directly responsible for what is currently happening in Ferguson.

Worse?  It's bullsh-t.  Simply, untrue.  Law enforcement thugs across the country, including here in Llano County, use such tactics no matter the cooperation or lack thereof of those they target.  Guilty or innocent.  Bastards like LA Officer Dutta remain perilously oblivious to rising resentment of citizens abused by these officers, guilty or innocent.

No longer matters to these jackbooted thugs.  They couldn't care less it's their behavior and attitude that is directly responsible for this growing resentment.  Worse, needlessly places officers at risk, in danger.  Too clueless, Aryan arrogant, to understand this, however.  There is no legal recourse against such abusive officers.

They're protected by district attorneys.  Extremely expensive to file a civil lawsuit.  Matters not, anyway, since sovereign immunity statutes usually protect these outrageously corrupt, abusive, inept, clueless sons of bitches.  There is no justice, precisely why there is, can be, no peace in Ferguson.  Think such unrest won't spread?

The name of this publication was changed some ten years ago from The Llano Ledger to Liberty In Peril.  The reason?  Simple.  Cowardly failure of this community to stand up to tyranny that has only exponentially worsened the last decade.  Clearly, demonstrated as well by the cowardly failure of businesses to financially support this publication.  Either through advertising or other financial support.  Too afraid doing so would enrage the bastards who run and own this hellhole County.

-- Despite the fact these businesses were, and are, being egregiously f--ked by these very same bastards.  Tough, isn't it?  Impossible to entertain any sympathy for cowardice, however.  Especially in view of the fact this writer has placed himself in great jeopardy taking on these corrupt, abusive, inept criminal bastards.  Alone.

Exactly, why you see no investigative material highly critical of these sons of bitches in other local rags.  Sadly, cowardly, all advertising income immediately dries up.  Consequently, the bastards continue their criminal chicanery with impunity.  On a rampage.  Thus, you get what you truly deserve.  Always.  Precisely, why this earlier name change to Liberty In Peril remains appropriate.  -- Despite the fact this writer has not yet left the area.  Ten years after originally intending to do so.  Thirty years in this goddamned godforsaken hellhole.

This writer, then and now, remains primarily interested in state, federal, and international issues.  Another reason for this publication name change.  Despite the fact I stupidly cluelessly remain here, local issues must be addressed.  Can't be ignored.  That's where you come in dear readers.  Have the courage to inform this writer of local abuse, corruption, ineptness you are aware of, have personally experienced.

... Information these criminal bastards do all they can to conceal, cover up.  Otherwise, how can they effectively sustain the charade and intended result?  Loot confiscation through a boot heel on the throat of the citizenry.

The only way, short of an unwanted dreaded second American revolution, to force badly-needed change is to expose all this to the light of day.  These bastards are beginning to understand they have a problem.  No question, the growing rage of those they've abused, looted, egregiously f--ked.  It's time to stand up.  Expose this corruption to glaring sunlight.  Otherwise, as fools, cowards, you will remain under their thumb.  From the loftiest business owner to those on the bottom of the food chain.  Wake up.  Grow a pair.

Still don't think that likely to happen.  After all, you're bought and paid for.  Owned.  Not only by your government masters, but their masters.  The corporate management suite.  Your employers.  Think not? Wake up.   You're human chattel.  Corporate-owned, bought and paid for.  Precisely, why you cowardly, compliantly literally bare your asses for corporate inspection by the company doctor.  Willingly, compliantly, cowardly piss in a cup under employer supervision.  To sit in front of a keyboard or stock shelves all day.  You have no control of your lives.  You're owned.  Forget?  For a measly salary, no job security, reduced to no benefits.  At a time of record corporate profits and cash reserves.

Then, you gallingly complain about the oppression as you tolerate egregious theft of your labor.  Not only by your corporate masters, but their bought and paid for government lackeys.  Too cowardly to stand up, allow disclosure of your identity when you rightfully complain to this publication of being mercilessly f--ked.  Some of you falsely arrested, criminally assaulted, bogusly fined for 'offenses' you did not commit.  To line County coffers.  Keep the peasants in line and under control.  A fascist police-state.  Nazi America.

Again, yet another reason why this publication is called Liberty In Peril.  Most galling?  Nothing changes if you fail to step up and challenge corrupt, abusive, inept authority.  Too afraid, cowardly compliant to let the bastards know who you are.  Did it ever occur to the cowards out there if the identity of the accuser is kept under wraps the bastards will falsely claim it's all made up by this publication?  Thus, conveniently killing all credibility.  Wake up.

Cowardice is unbecoming, unworthy of our formerly great country.  Insult to injury?  There are the hopelessly deranged who believe the chicanery reported here to be manufactured anyway.  No matter the effort.  No matter the research.  No matter the proof.  Wake up.  This writer cannot do it alone.  Snowball's chance in hell.  Then again, cowardice, delusion is always amply, justly rewarded.  Always.  You continue to 'enjoy' the very best government money can buy.  Literally.

Special Edition 8-15-14

JP2 Linda Ballard Recording

Click here for a most interesting conversation between JP2 Linda Ballard and LCRA Communications Supervisor Mitch Hibbs who at the time was investigating a complaint made by the Henderson family against the 'judge.'  The recording had been made by Hibbs and provided by Phyllis Henderson who had gotten it through an open records request.   During the course of the recording you will hear the 'judge' make a terroristic threat against the Henderson family which the investigator laughingly shrugged off as a joke.

Seems former LCRA Ranger Lance Bilski, stepson of Llano County Sheriff Bill Blackburn, had been harassing the Henderson family regarding their tire business, Henderson Tire.  Worse? There are unsubstantiated allegations, that although very much attached, Bilski may have indeed engaged in improprieties, that is, egregiously unprofessional conduct relevant to the Henderson complaint.  All this had been covered in Newsletter Text V346.

Publication of this material, however, should in no way be interpreted as endorsement of Ballard's opponent, Steve Lange, in the upcoming runoff.  It is not.  It is provided as a public service to expose the 'judge' for exactly whom and what she is.
