The following was written before the latest ceasefire 8-5-14.  See the carnage?  View the video coming out of Gaza?  The appalling damage inflicted by the Israeli aggressor?  Six times the Israelis have deliberately targeted UN schools used to shelter refugees from Israeli bombing and shelling.  Each time the aggressor was repeatedly warned by UN officials of its location and the fact it housed innocent civilians.  Each time, however, innocent civilians were deliberately targeted, killed, and maimed by the Israelis.  UN officials correctly label these attacks war crimes.

The United States finally strongly condemned the latest attack.  The State Department is "appalled."  Imagine that.  Spokeswoman Jen Psaki in a written statement opined, "We once again stress that Israel must do more to meet its own standards and avoid civilian casualties.  ... The suspicion that militants are operating nearby does not justify strikes that put at risk the lives of so many innocent civilians."

You think?  When will you cut off all military aid and financial support for the aggressor?  When?  When will our formerly great country enforce export law that prohibits such offensive use of American-supplied weapons and munitions in densely-populated areas?  While the extent of damage cannot be accurately assessed until the bombing and shelling end, reportedly the aggressor has destroyed some 10,000 Palestinian houses.  Reportedly, an additional 30,000 have been heavily damaged according to Palestinian authorities.  Much of the infrastructure has been decimated, including the sole power plant for 1.8 million that has been severely damaged and will take quite some time to put back online.   Yet, another war crime.

With no power, water is cut off.  Hospitals will have no power when their backup generators run out of fuel.  A growing humanitarian crisis will soon become catastrophic.  As of 8-3-14, over 1,839 Palestinians have been killed.  Most of them civilians.  At least 64 Israeli soldiers killed in combat, most of them in Gaza.  Two Israeli civilians and one foreigner killed as a result of Hamas rocketing.  Over 8,000 Palestinians injured.  A handful of Israelis.  Most would consider such statistics a massacre.

Apparently, the President of the United States and his henchmen are growing increasingly impatient with the Israelis.  Still remain too cowardly, however, to hold their stooges accountable for their atrocities.  Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is increasingly willing to display his arrogance and manipulation of Mr. Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry.

The Israeli Prime Minister warned both American leaders "not to ever second guess me again" on how to deal with Hamas.  Claims he should be "trusted."  Is that right, Mr. Prime Minister?  You egregiously overreact to three Israeli civilian deaths and relatively minor damage due to Hamas rocketing by decimating 1.8 million Palestinians?  Deliberately destroy thousands of homes, attack civilian shelters, take out infrastructure?  In response to three civilian deaths?

While Hamas is certainly guilty of war crimes, nothing they've done compares to what you and your henchmen have perpetrated.  You are a war criminal, Mr. Prime Minister.  You should be immediately prosecuted for your crimes.  Your continued commission of these crimes guaranties continued terror and the likely ultimate failure of the Israeli State.

Support for the Israeli aggressor is precipitously dropping in the United States, Mr. Prime Minister.  Only some 56% of our population supports Israel.  Among the young, 18-24 year olds?  The statistic grim, 25%, likely to drop further as the aggression continues.  Not a good portend of things to come for your country as they age.

Likely, the American public will eventually force cut off of all aid.  Thus leveling the playing field, forcing you to finally make peace, allow for a two-state solution to the problem.  If not, you will ultimately, sadly, certainly not wanted, wind up in the sea.  After all, your enemies far outnumber you.  Without American support and arms, you could not survive under such conditions.  Time to make change.  Come to your senses.  Before too late.

Readers should understand Gaza is home to 1.8 million.  Is approximately twice the size of the District of Columbia.  Nowhere to go.  Nowhere to shelter.  Nowhere to escape Israeli air strikes and shelling.  The scope of the carnage is horrendous.  Hamas remains determined to continue the fight.  Will not settle for anything less than lifting of the 7-year-old Israeli siege.  Likely, not even then, considering hostilities initiated by the Israeli aggressor back in 1948 and continuing to the present.  The situation remains ripe for continued unbridled violence.  Both sides.

The world community, including Europe, is appalled and increasingly enraged by Israeli aggression and deliberate targeting of civilians.  The United States stands alone in support and financing of this aggressor.  Usually, no matter what it does.  If the world is truly outraged and intolerant of Israeli aggression, it is time to end all trade with the aggressor.  Break off diplomatic relations with the aggressor should a trade embargo be ineffective in reining it in.  Isolate the aggressor.  ... Since the leadership of our formerly great country does not have the courage to do so itself.

A decade after the fact, President Obama has finally admitted our formerly great country indeed tortured "enemy combatants."  You think?  Mr. Obama opined, "When we engaged in some of these enhanced interrogation techniques, techniques that I believe and I think any fair-minded person would believe were torture, we crossed a line.  ... And that needs to be ... understood and accepted. And we have to, as a country, take responsibility for that so that hopefully we don't do it again in the future."

Indeed, Mr. President, indeed.  What a mealy mouthed, cowardly timid response, however, to egregious war crimes.  When will the perpetrators finally be prosecuted, Mr. President? When?  From the bottom of the food chain right up to and including former President George "The Tush" Bush, Vice President "Slick Dick" Cheney, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, and many, many others?  When?

When will these criminals be finally held fully accountable for their crimes?  When?  Anything short of prosecution ensures such torture will continue in the future.  The document also reportedly claims these techniques did not work.  Imagine that.  Couldn't be, could it?  When will the lawyers responsible for justification of the unjustifiable be fully prosecuted for their crimes?  When?

The Senate report has not even been disclosed since the CIA deliberately redacted much, if not most, of the document.  To the chagrin of Senators overseeing intelligence activities.  Imagine that.  The perpetrators of the crimes get to 'review' and redact the truth.  Only, in Nazi America.  Apparently, this outrageously corrupt and abusive agency continues to cover its ass.  It's abuse of power and commission of war crimes over the years so egregious it must be rebuilt top to bottom.

By admission, remains strongly opposed to any release of information germane to torture and abuse of "enemy combatants."  You think?  You've been bamboozled, dear readers.  Lied to by the government you consistently, cowardly refuse to question.  Too afraid to find your voices.  Stand up to this tyranny.  Consequently, you get what you truly deserve.

Cameron Todd Willingham.  Ring a bell?  Should.  This man was convicted of murdering his three young girls back in 1992.  Supposedly, set the house on fire.  Executed in 2004.  Despite highly flawed forensic 'evidence' and testimony from a jailhouse informant who falsely alleged Willingham confessed the crime to him.  ... Still doesn't ring a bell?

Texas Gov. Rick "The Prick" Perry knew this case was highly flawed before refusing to temporarily stay the execution.  This will likely haunt "The Prick" during his likely run for the presidency in 2016.  In an unrelated 2006 death penalty case, 'Justice' Antonin Scalia haughtily opined death penalty opponents couldn't cite “a single case — not one — in which it is clear that a person was executed for a crime he did not commit.”

"Tony Baby's" head still remains securely lodged so far up his ass his eyeballs are turning inside out.  Incapable of knowing government malfeasance if it bit him hard on the ass.  There are many such examples.  The Willingham case a particularly egregious one.  The problem with this fascist bastard is he continues to legislate his outrageously perverse ideological and religious views from the bench.  Precisely, why he remains blind to egregious injustice in our formerly great country.

Amazing how a jailbird 'witness' who has been bribed by prosecutors to give false testimony is so readily believed by jurors.  As is false forensic testimony discredited by a number of scientific experts.  Truly frightening as our formerly great country continues to nazify.  The informant is Johnny E. Webb.  Has repeatedly affirmed and recanted his testimony.

The Marshall Project has been working on this case for quite some time.  It is a non-profit that focuses on criminal justice.  This group reports the informant has given new taped testimony regarding how he lied on the stand during the Willingham 'trial.'  Why?  Simple.  Former prosecutor John H. Jackson promised to reduce his sentence for robbery.  Arrange thousands in cash from a rich Corsicana rancher named Charles S. Pearce Jr.  All done to keep the 'witness' in line.

Marshall Project reporter Maurice Possley wrote:

“Mr. Pierce and I visit on a regular basis concerning your problems,” Jackson wrote to Webb in August 2000, eight years after the trial, when his former witness was threatening to recant. (Jackson misspelled the rancher’s last name.) “We worked for a long time on a number of different levels, including the Governor’s Office, to get you released early in the robbery case. . . . Please understand that I am not indifferent or insensitive to your difficulties.”

Along with Webb’s account, the letters and documents expose a determined, years-long effort by the prosecutor to alter Webb’s conviction, speed his parole, get him clemency and move him from a tough state prison back to his hometown jail. Had such favorable treatment been revealed prior to his execution, Willingham might have had grounds to seek a new trial.

Interesting, isn't it?  Possley went on to report:

In a grievance filed July 25 with the State Bar of Texas, the Innocence Project, a New York-based advocacy group that has investigated the Willingham case for a decade, argued that Jackson’s conduct “violated his professional, ethical and constitutional obligations.” The group called for a full investigation of Jackson’s handling of the case and argued that he could be sanctioned or even criminally prosecuted for falsifying official records, withholding evidence from the defense, suborning perjury and obstructing justice.

All this points to a desperate need for change.  This, but the tip of the iceberg.  It's time to hold corrupt, abusive, inept, conniving 'judges,' 'prosecutors,' and 'law enforcement' accountable.  Since the scourge of the death penalty remains determinedly on the table, it is necessary to modify sovereign immunity statutes to hold these bastards fully accountable.  When they knowingly, falsely convict, and execute the innocent, they should be subject to the very same penalty.  Death.

The same for law enforcement goons.  Most recent case in point?  The recent NYPD killing of a man by choke hold in direct violation of department policy, featured in an earlier edition of this publication.  Policy in effect because it is well known choke holds kill.  The bastard should be prosecuted for murder.  Executed if found guilty.  Statutes need to be changed to enable this, protect the public.  Afford the public the very same protections law enforcement thugs currently enjoy.  -- This, from a writer who in principle still remains ferociously opposed to executions with only the above exceptions.

Willingham was offered life in prison in return for pleading guilty.  Courageously, chose not to.  Preferred death to admitting to a crime he did not commit.  Indeed, courage second to none.  The murder of this innocent man by nazi Texas state government may ultimately and ironically lead to abolition of the death penalty.

Hard to believe it took so long.  The federal government recently announced Edward Snowden indeed has company.  Leaked material regarding expansion of terrorist databases during the Obama Regime found its way on to Intercept, a news website run by Glenn Greenwald.  -- Greenwald had earlier published material provided by Snowden.

The new material is dated after Snowden fled the United States to avoid charges.  The government is desperate to determine the identity of the leaker.  About time people in government with direct knowledge of malfeasance stand up and expose it and its perpetrators to the blinding light of day.  Hopefully, others will follow their outstandingly courageous example.

Yes, pedophiles must be caught and prosecuted.  Aggressive policing, now executed by Internet corporations on behalf of their government lackeys, can easily be abused to harass and prosecute innocent people, however.  Yet, another indication of the outrageously fascist police-state we now live in.  Clearly, it is no longer good enough that Google and other Internet corporations analyze all emails, all search engine activity to track and harass users with unwanted advertising.  Now, they take on the function of police.

John Sileo is a cyber security expert based in Denver.  He reports the case of a father who sent a picture of his naked toddler walking around the house to friends and family.  Wound up losing his job and fought litigation for years as a result.  After sending it by email through another mail service other than Google.

Think your kid cute, adorable running around the house in the buff?  Want to share it with family, friends?  Think again.  Clearly, an image does not have to be sexual in nature to result in prosecution.  Parents have been prosecuted for sending pictures of their children in the tub to grandparents and other family members.  With absolutely no sexual content or intention.

Mr. Sileo went on to opine, “The recognition technology for things like child porn is getting more and more sophisticated and of course there’s always going to be false positives.”  -- Indeed, false positives that can result in prosecution of the innocent.  For non-sexual content.  Apparently, law enforcement and prosecutors see no difference between a picture of kids in a bath tub or running around the house in the buff, -- and depiction of a pedophile engaging in sexual assault of a kid in a photograph.  Bottom line?  Keep your kids dressed and never, ever take or send a picture of them in the buff to anyone.

The name of this publication was changed some ten years ago from The Llano Ledger to Liberty In Peril.  The reason?  Simple.  Cowardly failure of this community to stand up to tyranny that has only exponentially worsened the last decade.  Clearly, demonstrated as well by the cowardly failure of businesses to financially support this publication.  Either through advertising or other financial support.  Too afraid doing so would enrage the bastards who run and own this hellhole County.

-- Despite the fact these businesses were, and are, being egregiously f--ked by these very same bastards.  Tough, isn't it?  Impossible to entertain any sympathy for cowardice, however.  Especially in view of the fact this writer has placed himself in great jeopardy taking on these corrupt, abusive, inept criminal bastards.  Alone.

Exactly, why you see no investigative material highly critical of these sons of bitches in other local rags.  Sadly, cowardly, all advertising income immediately dries up.  Consequently, the bastards continue their criminal chicanery with impunity.  On a rampage.  Thus, you get what you truly deserve.  Always.  Precisely, why this earlier name change to Liberty In Peril remains appropriate.  -- Despite the fact this writer has not yet left the area.  Ten years after originally intending to do so.  Thirty years in this goddamned godforsaken hellhole.

This writer, then and now, remains primarily interested in state, federal, and international issues.  Another reason for this publication name change.  Despite the fact I stupidly cluelessly remain here, local issues must be addressed.  Can't be ignored.  That's where you come in dear readers.  Have the courage to inform this writer of local abuse, corruption, ineptness you are aware of, have personally experienced.

... Information these criminal bastards do all they can to conceal, cover up.  Otherwise, how can they effectively sustain the charade and intended result?  Loot confiscation through a boot heel on the throat of the citizenry.

The only way, short of an unwanted dreaded second American revolution, to force badly-needed change is to expose all this to the light of day.  These bastards are beginning to understand they have a problem.  No question, the growing rage of those they've abused, looted, egregiously f--ked.  It's time to stand up.  Expose this corruption to glaring sunlight.  Otherwise, as fools, cowards, you will remain under their thumb.  From the loftiest business owner to those on the bottom of the food chain.  Wake up.  Grow a pair.

Still don't think that likely to happen.  After all, you're bought and paid for.  Owned.  Not only by your government masters, but their masters.  The corporate management suite.  Your employers.  Think not? Wake up.   You're human chattel.  Corporate-owned, bought and paid for.  Precisely, why you cowardly, compliantly literally bare your asses for corporate inspection by the company doctor.  Willingly, compliantly, cowardly piss in a cup under employer supervision.  To sit in front of a keyboard or stock shelves all day.  You have no control of your lives.  You're owned.  Forget?  For a measly salary, no job security, reduced to no benefits.  At a time of record corporate profits and cash reserves.

Then, you gallingly complain about the oppression as you tolerate egregious theft of your labor.  Not only by your corporate masters, but their bought and paid for government lackeys.  Too cowardly to stand up, allow disclosure of your identity when you rightfully complain to this publication of being mercilessly f--ked.  Some of you falsely arrested, criminally assaulted, bogusly fined for 'offenses' you did not commit.  To line County coffers.  Keep the peasants in line and under control.  A fascist police-state.  Nazi America.

Again, yet another reason why this publication is called Liberty In Peril.  Most galling?  Nothing changes if you fail to step up and challenge corrupt, abusive, inept authority.  Too afraid, cowardly compliant to let the bastards know who you are.  Did it ever occur to the cowards out there if the identity of the accuser is kept under wraps the bastards will falsely claim it's all made up by this publication?  Thus, conveniently killing all credibility.  Wake up.

Cowardice is unbecoming, unworthy of our formerly great country.  Insult to injury?  There are the hopelessly deranged who believe the chicanery reported here to be manufactured anyway.  No matter the effort.  No matter the research.  No matter the proof.  Wake up.  This writer cannot do it alone.  Snowball's chance in hell.  Then again, cowardice, delusion is always amply, justly rewarded.  Always.  You continue to 'enjoy' the very best government money can buy.  Literally.

JP2 Linda Ballard Recording

Click here for a most interesting conversation between JP2 Linda Ballard and LCRA Communications Supervisor Mitch Hibbs who at the time was investigating a complaint made by the Henderson family against the 'judge.'  The recording had been made by Hibbs and provided by Phyllis Henderson who had gotten it through an open records request.   During the course of the recording you will hear the 'judge' make a terroristic threat against the Henderson family which the investigator laughingly shrugged off as a joke.

Seems former LCRA Ranger Lance Bilski, stepson of Llano County Sheriff Bill Blackburn, had been harassing the Henderson family regarding their tire business, Henderson Tire.  Worse? There are unsubstantiated allegations, that although very much attached, Bilski may have indeed engaged in improprieties, that is, egregiously unprofessional conduct relevant to the Henderson complaint.  All this had been covered in Newsletter Text V346.

Publication of this material, however, should in no way be interpreted as endorsement of Ballard's opponent, Steve Lange, in the upcoming runoff.  It is not.  It is provided as a public service to expose the 'judge' for exactly whom and what she is.
