In follow-up to last week's edition, there are allegations by a local newspaper the Facebook post by the family of the 3-year-old supposedly asked to leave KFC is phony. KFC is investigating, but will still pay $30,000 for the child's surgery no matter the outcome. A surgeon has also offered pro bono services. Other massive donations have come in as well.
There is no question the girl was severely mauled by what now turns out to be three pit bulls. Allegations by the local paper center on whether or not the girl was in fact at KFC, and if so, whether she was asked to leave. Most disturbing of all is the fact this little one is totally innocent. At worst, may have been used by her family to raise funds deceptively for her surgery. The family hotly denies it.
The source or sources have not been identified by the paper, consequently their credibility remains in question. Appear to also be associated with KFC franchisees. No question, someone's lying. Bottom line, however, is the fact there is a 3-year-old who has been viciously mauled, needs additional surgery and medical treatment. A little girl who is clearly innocent. Has been victimized either by her family or KFC franchisees who can't withstand pressure from corporate management and/or the public who have been so deeply affected by this matter.
No question, this is personally the most difficult story I've published in quite some time. Clearly, it is not the end of it, since the truth is yet to be fully determined. Gallingly, a moving target. ... So what else is new? -- There and here. Will indeed be posted in this publication no matter what it turns out to be. On all four sites. What bothers me so greatly about this is the fact it happened to someone so young, vulnerable, truly defenseless.
No matter how things turn out, KFC corporate will come out on top. Handled this spectacularly from the start. If it turns out to be a hoax, that is little Victoria was not asked to leave, they will indeed deserve and earn great publicity and public sympathy. Once in awhile, the corporate management suite does something right. Certainly, in this example. Too bad it couldn't be all the time. This time, they've indeed been magnificent under truly horrific circumstances.
To say things are not going well in Iraq would grossly understate the obvious. They're not. Had been expected, however, since ole' George "The Tush" and "Slick Dick" mindlessly invaded Iraq over a decade ago. Under egregiously false pretenses. Vigorously challenged by at least some of us at the time. Falsely labeled as un-American by the nazi element in our formerly great country for standing up and challenging this insanity.
Some 4500 subsequently and consequently killed in action, tens of thousands maimed, over a 100,000 Iraqis killed, no weapons of mass destruction found, loss of at least a trillion, maybe two in treasure, and a sectarian war now overtaking Iraq. Yet war criminals like Dick Cheney, George Bush, and their henchmen gallingly call for renewed American involvement.
People such as Bush, Cheney, Condeleezza Rice, Rumsfeld, and others drank the Kool Aide, bought the cold war rationale, abject bullsh-t promulgated by the post-World War II mentality of the leadership all those decades ago. Stupidly, made an enemy of the Soviet Union that had already been failing decades before the Korean War.
Five-Year Program after Five-Year Program, miserable abject failures. Yet, didn't deter paranoid fascists such as Sen. Joe McCarthy and his 'Red Under Every Bed' psychotic mentality. This paranoia directly led to Korea, Vietnam, Iraq I, Iraq II, Afghanistan, and every other military action taken by the United States since the end of the Second World War.
The American public paid the price for this insanity. Dearly. In terms of lives lost, treasure laid waste, American credibility, prestige lost across the world community. All this, including the terrorist threat, could have been avoided, at least ameliorated had we done things differently. Particularly, reined in the Israeli aggressor that has been commandeering, that is, stealing Palestinian territory since 1948 and ever since.
The State of Israel is directly and indirectly responsible for the rise of terrorism in the Middle East. Designed, engineered, perfected modern terroristic techniques now embraced by the Jihadist element in that region and elsewhere. Yet, the Israeli aggressor and its apologists on the Right can't grasp this. Have no conception, no clue.
"Slick Dick" certainly has absolutely no understanding, grasp of the paranoia he reveals every time he opens his mouth, removes a foot to display his true colors. Asked recently of his assessment of Hillary Clinton as former Secretary of State, his response betrays deep-seated paranoia and a perverse approach to what amounts to no more than American imperialism:
“I was impressed with Secretary Clinton in terms of her potential going in. The problem was, she was working for a president that has a fundamentally different philosophy than most of the presidents, Republican and Democrat alike, have had for the last 70 years. ... Since World War II we’ve believed, we’ve had a national consensus, the world works best when America is strong and is prepared to use that strength when necessary. She has not operated in that kind of an environment. I also think she’s been a disappointment with respect to things like Benghazi and other problems that have arisen while she was secretary.”
This mentality, outrageously distorted world view, is precisely why we've failed so miserably the last 64 years since onset of the Korean fiasco. Anyone who disagrees with him, such as Sen. Rand Paul is labeled an "isolationist" by this fascist. ... Hey, Dick? Paul and others are not promulgating isolationism, just the end of mindless, unwarranted war after war that do nothing other than line the pockets of the war profiteering corporate management suite.
Such as the former corporation you headed as CEO, Halliburton. Forget, Mr. Vice President? Conveniently, can't recall how Halliburton was charging American taxpayers $4 a gallon for gas Iraqis were buying for five cents at the time? Think the public has forgotten? At a time when gas prices in the U.S. were nowhere near four bucks?
Isn't this precisely why you were so eager to go to war despite the fact your assets were indeed tied up in a blind trust? Your disingenuousness, abject dishonesty are indeed traitorous, treasonous. How many died on both sides to line your pockets, you cowardly son of a bitch? Why do truly insane, sick bastards such as yourself continue to blindly believe American involvement overseas must be only military? Line the pockets of war profiteers such as yourself? Indeed, no more than blood money, you convoluted bastard.
When this nazi is challenged during sharp questioning by reporters, he lamely, cowardly, condescendingly, disingenuously opines, “... if we spend our time debating what happened 11 or 12 years ago, we’re going to miss the threat that is growing and that we do face.” ... Can't dazzle 'em with brilliance, baffle 'em with bullsh-t. Right, Dick?
It's precisely what you, the former President and all your henchmen did all those years ago that is directly responsible for what is happening today in Iraq. You went to war under egregiously false pretenses, systematically, methodically committed war crimes. Yet, you, the former president, and all your henchmen were never prosecuted for these crimes. Not held accountable. Now, you crawl out from under your rock to instruct us on what should be done?
His warped, accusingly perverse, paranoid view of reality is clear, “Now, I don't intend any disrespect for the president, but I fundamentally disagree with him. ... I think he's dead wrong in terms of the course he's taken this nation and I think we’re in for big trouble in the years ahead because of his refusal to recognize reality and because of his continual emphasis upon getting the U.S. basically to withdraw from that part of the world.”
Wake up, Dick. Reining in abuse of military power is not to "withdraw from that part of the world.” Far from it. Rather, it's refreshingly insightful. Finally, the right thing to do. End the insanity, you and people like you, endlessly perpetrate, indeed perpetuate to line pockets of war profiteers such as Halliburton. The insanity of Cheney and others like him, however, remains dangerous, an egregious perverse distortion of reality. A true threat to American national security.
Consider the achingly convoluted 'reasoning' of the former Vice President: “Now, Rand Paul and — by my standards, as I look at his — his philosophy, is basically an isolationist. ... That didn't work in the 1930s, it sure as heck won't work in the aftermath of 9/11, when 19 guys armed with airline tickets and box cutters came all the way from Afghanistan and killed 3,000 of our citizens.”
The former Vice President remains a congenital liar. This outrageously lying son of a bitch knows damn well the 9/11 atrocities had absolutely nothing to do with appeasement. Rather, the State Department allowed nineteen terrorists into our formerly great country without doing full background checks. Failed to remove visas even after flight schools warned this government these men only wanted to learn how to fly, not take off and land.
The lying bastard seems to have forgotten all this egregious lack of government action occurred during his watch and that of President George "The Tush" Bush. Wake up, Dick. Deception, deceit, lies, distortion of reality, rewrite of history, etc. are outrageously un-American, remain indicative of unmitigated gall, abject bullsh-t. You've again disgraced yourself, Mr. Vice President. When will you crawl back under your rock?
The price ultimately paid for Bush Administration failure to so easily prevent 9/11, effectively deal with its aftermath? All civil and constitutional rights and liberties eviscerated falsely in the name of "national 'security,'" rather consolidation of Executive power and implementation of a fascist police-state. This, the pernicious true legacy of two fascist bastards named Bush and Cheney. Two treasonous criminals who should be prosecuted for war crimes.
Much of western Iraq is in the process of being lost. To send in some 300 'advisors' is insanity. Iraqis are not willing to fight. Recently, abandoned billions in weapons and equipment provided by the United States. Took off their uniforms, -- ran. Why do we continue to expend treasure, possibly more lives defending the indefensible? Why?
At last, one Christian denomination has courageously stood up to the Israeli aggressor. The USA Presbyterian Church has voted to dissociate itself from investments in three American corporations aiding and abetting the Israelis in their subjugation of the Palestinians. Caterpillar, Hewlett-Packard, and Motorola Solutions. Set off a firestorm in Israel, led to a vicious verbal attack from the clueless Prime Minister. Presbyterians are not the only Christians greatly disturbed by Israeli abuse of Palestinians, however. Others may follow suit.
The Anti-Defamation League certainly has its shorts in a wad over the issue, "This resolution sends a painful message to American Jews and threatens the long-standing relationship between the Jewish community and the national Presbyterian Church with whom we have worked closely on many issues of mutual concern." Sadly and clearly, the ADL remains clueless and indifferent to Israeli theft of Palestinian land, bulldozing of their homes, physical abuse, arrest, denial of a Palestinian State, etc..
The sharp response of the Israeli Prime Minister is most telling. Clear indication, the Israelis must know deep in their hearts the status quo is utterly unsustainable. Can't continue much longer. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sounds like an American. If memory serves, was indeed educated here. Extremely bright, brilliant statesman. For many, many years, decades, in fact. Always listened in great interest to him when he was interviewed here and abroad.
Has been caught up too long in his own rhetoric, however, endless bloodshed in the Middle East. All of it directly related to the last 66 years of Israeli iron-fisted rule in Palestine. His reaction to Presbyterian divestiture of corporations is quite enlightening and indicative of why this conflict will end no time soon. Only result in far more unnecessary death, injury, and destruction of property on both sides:
“It should trouble all people and of conscience and morality because it’s so disgraceful. ... You come to Israel and you see the one democracy that upholds basic human rights, that guards the rights of all minorities, that protects Christians. … Most Americans understand Israel is a beacon of civilization and moderation. I would suggest to the Presbyterian organizations — fly to the Middle East. Come and see Israel for the embattled democracy that it is and then take a bus tour. Go to Libya, go to Syria, go to Iraq, and see the difference. And I would give them two pieces of advice: make sure it is an armor-plated bus, and second, don’t say that you’re Christians.”
Clearly, bitter, Mr. Prime Minister? While the State of Israel is indeed a democracy for the Israeli people, it is not for Palestinians living under your outrageously corrupt, abusive, inept, iron-fisted rule. Far from it. For you to claim 'democracy' in light of these abuses is indeed galling, haughty, supreme distortion of reality. Will certainly lead to further bloodshed on both sides.
There is no way for you and Israel to ultimately win this struggle, respectfully, Mr. Prime Minister. Only both sides can, and will, lose. Eventually, sadly, unnecessarily should this insanity continue, Israel will ultimately be driven into the sea. Your enemies, indeed ubiquitous, many times your population. Indeed, insane. Jihadists. What will you do?
Scorched earth policy in the end? Use nuclear weapons you likely possess in revenge? While excoriating Iranians for wishing to similarly nuclear arm? To protect themselves against Israeli aggression and insanity? ... Ever consider it from the viewpoint of the other guy? Threaten them with military action should they progress? Wake up, Mr. Netanyahu. You no longer see the forest for the trees. Remain achingly clueless. You and your ilk clearly no longer serve the best interests of your people, nor the Palestinians.
Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal is indeed a rising star in the GOP. Rightfully, so. A brilliant, gifted politician. Clearly, being pressured, however, from the furthest reaches of the Nazi Right in the Republican Party. He recently spoke at the Faith and Freedom Coalition. This group is led by evangelical Christian Ralph Reed.
The Governor opined, "I can sense right now a rebellion brewing amongst these United States where people are ready for a hostile takeover of Washington, D.C., to preserve the American Dream for our children and grandchildren." -- You're not calling for a revolution are you, Governor? Aren't Christians peaceloving and obedient to 'lawful' governmental authority?
Mr. Jindal seems to think there is an assault on religious liberty, "I am tired of the left. They say they're for tolerance, they say they respect diversity. The reality is this: They respect everybody unless you happen to disagree with them. The left is trying to silence us and I'm tired of it, I won't take it anymore."
Is that right, Governor? Aren't you indeed speaking of yourselves? The fact you and others like you desperately wish to repress all criticism of the Christian Nazi Right which determinedly seeks to force its perverse ideological and religious views on the rest of us? Dictate to women what they can and cannot do with their uterus? Force Christianity as state religion in direct violation of The Establishment Clause, First Amendment? Think a Christian theocracy will be any better than an Islamic state? Indeed, you've gotten your achingly disingenuous assessment of critics of the Nazi Right laughably assbackwards.
What 'Left?' Where? The Left you refer to is where the Center used to be forty years ago. Conveniently, forget? The Right is so far Nazi Right it makes men like the late Barry Goldwater, Richard Nixon, and William Buckley look like communists. Wake up, Bobby. Your ignorance is unbecoming a Governor in the United States. You're pandering, Bobby. Remain achingly transparent, shallow. Thought you indeed were a new breed of politician. Clearly, you're not. The piss poor GOP response you gave to an earlier Presidential State of the Union speech was clearly no fluke. Even fellow Republican fascists were disappointed with your performance.
The Governor went on to claim, "Are we witnessing right now the most radically, extremely liberal, ideological president of our entire lifetime right here in the United States of America, or are we witnessing the most incompetent president of the United States of America in the history of our lifetimes? You know, it is a difficult question. I've thought long and hard about it. Here's the only answer I've come up with, and I'm going to quote Secretary Clinton: 'What difference does it make?'"
-- Not so clever, Bobby. You're out of touch, or were simply playing to the Nazi Right in the group. Either way, despicable, a cheap shot. How can you with a straight face call Obama a 'liberal' when he and his henchmen unsuccessfully defended in the Supreme Court warrantless cell phone searches of those arrested? Continues to give us NSA, that is, warrantless domestic spying? Has sent 300 advisors to Iraq for a war that never should have been fought, could never have been won? Refuses to rein in outrageously corrupt, abusive, inept law enforcement.
Presides over continuing consolidation of Executive power and creation of a fascist police-state on behalf of his corporate masters. Including you, and others who think like you, Governor. Can go on and on. Why bother, however? You remain clueless. Out of touch. Likely, always will. What ever happened to principle, Bobby?
Instead of shameless pandering to a group that denies women the right, indeed the freedom, to do with their uterus as they damn well please. Eviscerates abortion and contraceptive services while denying any aid, help, support for these women and their offspring. Haughtily, advises them to keep their panties up and legs crossed. Haven't forgotten Brandon Garabrant, have you? Last year, this young Marine was denied the right to wear Dress Blues to his high school graduation. The Lance Corporal recently was killed in action in Afghanistan. Think school officials may now indeed be suffering some serious pangs of regret? This fine Marine was 19. Semper Fi, Lance Corporal.
Some injustices take a long, long time to correct. In the case of Don Miyada, 72 years. Mr. Miyada received his high school diploma in the mail back in 1942. Could not attend his graduation because about a month before he had been locked up in a Japanese-American internment camp. Indeed, at the tender age of 17.
Newport Harbor High School's principal and 2014 graduating class insisted he don cap and gown, indeed walk on to the stage with them. Received a standing ovation while making him the first member of the school's hall of fame. Amazing what can get done when the will is there. Would you believe they indeed found an old program with his name on it, -- despite the fact he could not attend all those years go?
Mr. Miyada was drafted and fought in the European theater. Went on to earn a doctorate in chemistry and became a college professor. This most remarkable man was not the only interned to serve their country in war, go on to make fine lives for themselves and their families. Must never be forgotten many in the internment camps volunteered for service in the Pacific during the Second World War. A whole different ball game.
-- Knowing full well if captured they would and did endure the worst treatment, abuse, and torture afforded any prisoner of war by the Japanese Imperial Army. ... Unparalleled courage and patriotism displayed on behalf of a country that had only shortly before locked them up in internment camps. ... A country they had indeed subsequently served at so horrific cost.
Despite the fact veterans are denied medical care, the United States Navy is selling yet another aircraft carrier for scrap. ... To a Texas salvage company for one cent. You read it right. One cent. One penny.
This publication has reported quite some time extremely dangerous militarization of police departments throughout our formerly great country. Special Weapons And Tactics, SWAT. Battle-ready jackbooted law enforcement thugs in full battle dress have continued to criminally assault and kill innocent people. Many, many incidents reported by ACLU in a recent investigative report.
Just two examples of many? A seven-year-old girl asleep had her blanket set on fire by a flash bang explosive as one of the thugs shot and killed her just after midnight. An Iraq veteran, Jose Guerena, 26, picked up a rifle with safety on after his wife heard some noise. SWAT. The bastards fired 71 rounds at him.
These squads were designed to be used "for hostages, barricade, or active shooter scenarios." Only 7% are such. 62% for drug raids. Disproportionately against minorities. When these bastards wantonly murder, seldom are they prosecuted. It's time to change the laws. Protect the public against these cold-blooded killers. It's past time to make it a capital crime for an officer to wantonly murder while on the job.
Oregon U.S. District Judge Anna Brown ruled the "No Fly List" unconstitutional. Why did it take well over ten years? The Judge opined:
"One need not look beyond the hardships suffered by Plaintiffs to understand the significance of the deprivation of the right to travel internationally. Due to the major burden imposed by inclusion on the No-Fly List, Plaintiffs have suffered significantly including long-term separation from spouses and children; the inability to access desired medical and prenatal care; the inability to pursue an education of their choosing; the inability to participate in important religious rites; loss of employment opportunities; loss of government entitlements; the inability to visit family; and the inability to attend important personal and family events such as graduations, weddings, and funerals. The Court concludes international travel is not a mere convenience or luxury in this modern world. Indeed, for many international travel is a necessary aspect of liberties sacred to members of a free society.
"Accordingly, on this record the Court concludes Plaintiffs' inclusion on the No-Fly List constitutes a significant deprivation of their liberty interests in international travel."
Be interesting to see how fast the Obama Regime appeals. Isn't it amazing all these years so many have been denied the right to fly for absolutely no reason other than the whim of government? No way to challenge or appeal. Indeed, nazi justice in Nazi America. A raucous bootclicking, goosestepping, treasonous, traitorous Sieg Heil!, Mr. President?
ACLU National Security Project Director Hina Shamsi opined:
"For years, in the name of national security the government has argued for blanket secrecy and judicial deference to its profoundly unfair No Fly List procedures, and those arguments have now been resoundingly rejected by the court. Our clients will finally get the due process to which they are entitled under the Constitution. This excellent decision also benefits other people wrongly stuck on the No Fly List, with the promise of a way out from a Kafkaesque bureaucracy causing them no end of grief and hardships. We hope this serves as a wake-up call for the government to fix its broken watchlist system, which has swept up so many innocent people."
Again, how could this ever happen in the United States? How can the bastards who run and own our formerly great country do this to their own people? How could it go on for well over a decade? Why has no one been prosecuted for this outrageous atrocity, falsely in the name of "national 'security?'"
Finally, the U.S. Supreme Court got it right. Unanimously. 9-0. Law enforcement must have a warrant to search the cell phone of anyone arrested. It's truly amazing the Fascist Five went along. Scalia, Thomas, Alito, Roberts, and Kennedy. Hell indeed must have frozen over. Appears to be a landmark decision. Not certain yet how it will be fully implemented, what effect it will have on pending and earlier cases.
Provision has been made for exigent circumstances. That is, if police have reason to believe they or the public are at risk, they can immediately search the phone. If they indeed find the phone is not a detonator for an IED or any other explosive, it is not clear if anything incriminating on that phone can still be used without a warrant. Or, if it remains inadmissible.
Police cannot be trusted. They lie like hell. Egregiously abuse authority. Do as they please. Hopelessly, out of control. Prior to this ruling the bastards could and would go so far as to arrest someone for jaywalking or some other minor offense just to search the phone of a target. A goddamned fishing expedition. Nazi America. Indeed, a fascist police-state. This ruling is intended to rein in these outrageous abuses.
If police can falsely claim exigent circumstances with no personal threat of prosecution, the bastards will. Count on it. Precisely, why it will be most interesting to see how this ruling is implemented and whether or not criminal officers are fired, prosecuted, and imprisoned. Otherwise, nothing will change. The Fourth Amendment will remain meaningless, toothless, a sham.
The day after the above was written, the Supreme Court ruled buffer zones around abortion clinics must go. Amazing how these very same fascist bastards have absolutely no problem with nazis on the Right desperately forcing their perverse ideological and religious views on women they believe too stupid to decide themselves.
Why should these women on their way to a clinic be forced to endure outrageous abuse perpetrated by these goddamned supposedly religious bastards desperate to force their perverse beliefs on these ladies at a time when they are most vulnerable? This is just some small measure of what life would indeed be like in our formerly great country should these nazis be successful and impose a Christian theocracy as they clearly intend. Ultimately, would be no better than an Islamic state.
Amazing how the resurrection of the Fourth Reich continues to progress in our formerly great country. This time centered in the Christian Extreme Right. Those of you who profess to be Christian and do no believe in these tactics need to stand up. Before too late.

The recording had been made by Hibbs and provided by Phyllis Henderson who had gotten it through an open records request. During the course of the recording you will hear the 'judge' make a terroristic threat against the Henderson family which the investigator laughingly shrugged off as a joke.
Seems former LCRA Ranger Lance Bilski, stepson of Llano County Sheriff Bill Blackburn, had been harassing the Henderson family regarding their tire business, Henderson Tire. Worse? There are unsubstantiated allegations, that although very much attached, Bilski may have indeed engaged in improprieties, that is, egregiously unprofessional conduct relevant to the Henderson complaint. All this had been covered in Newsletter Text V346.
