After all these months since relaunch, still fighting to successfully keep these sites up and running.  The x10 site, however, has been jettisoned due to continuing security issues.   Hopefully, the additional month or so of continued operation despite these issues was sufficient fair warning to the readership.

Waste in government never ends.  Exponentially increases.  As does spending and continued loss of civil and constitutional rights and liberties.  We unsuccessfully fought two wars in Korea and Vietnam that never should have been fought.  Lined pockets of the corporate management suite at expense of taxpayers and worse, far worse, blood of our best and brightest.  The insanity never seems to end.

In the last eighty years, reportedly there have been 19 coups in Thailand.  Twelve, successful.  Next to last?  2006.  Current?  May 22, 2014.  Yet, we continue to furnish military aid to this nation.  Why?  To what end?  The Thai military has once again eviscerated democracy in that country.  Still rounding up dissidents.  Controls all media.  Refuses to hold elections for a year.  Despite all this, American aid has not been cut off.  Why?  What could the idiots in Washington possibly be thinking?

Incredibly, despite expending money to enrich the Thai military regime under horrendously abusive conditions in that country, we can't seem to take care of our own.  Veterans here in our formerly great country.  Veterans dying due to delayed care.  How does that happen?  Why is it tolerated?  Why hasn't care for veterans been largely privatized?  Why is the President egregiously dragging his feet in resolving ongoing abuses within the Veterans Administration?  How could he not have known?

Joe Tesan is 89.  A resident of Watervliet, N.Y..  A Navy veteran.  At 19, aboard a landing craft under savage German fire on D-Day at Normandy.  Received $300 monthly in benefits.  Generously gave away approximately $100 each month to veterans groups.  Somewhere along the way, however, the VA allegedly overpaid him some $3090.  Mailed him a letter last year cutting his benefits to $6 a month.  -- You read it right.   Six dollars a month.  Intends to withhold full benefits until the overpayment is recovered.  Been going on since last June.  Incredible, isn't it?

This veteran never complained about it.  His kids did.  Never received any explanation from the VA, however.  After exposure on WNYT-TV,  the Veterans Administration is certainly now doing the old soft shoe.  Tap dancing.  Promises a review.  Claims to not be aware of any wide-spread issue.  Thanked them for bringing it to their attention.  Imagine that.

On the WNYT-TV website, as part of Mr. Tesan's biography, they report Tesan's  uncle was a man named Pat Simmons.  Mr. Simmons happened to be a pitcher for the Boston Red Sox during the 1928-29 seasons.  -- The heyday of likely the most famous Yankee of all time, Babe Ruth.  Simmons introduced young Joe Tesan, then about five years old, to the Yankee great.

Teson himself amusingly relates he didn't believe Mr. Ruth to be who he says he was:  "I looked at him and said, 'You’re not Babe Ruth, you son of a bitch.'"  ... The Babe's reaction?  Doubled over in laughter.  Can certainly understand how this truly remarkable man survived the Second World War and has lived an exemplary life.  Hat's off, Mr. Teson.  Thanks for your service.  ... And the great Sultan of Swat anecdote.  Indeed, doesn't get any better than that.

Marine Cpl. Elias Reyes Jr. honorably served his country two tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan.  Suffered a brain injury due to an IED blast.  Received $400.93 disability monthly from the Veterans Administration.  Had graduated from UCLA in 2012.  GPA 3.8.  Superb student.  Had planned to go to medical school.  Last April, he killed himself.  Had been suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.  Been jerked around by the VA.  Not given proper treatment.

Coup de grace?  Less than a month after he died, the bastards at the VA sent a letter to his family demanding his last month's disability check back.  There will come a day when our formerly great country is faced with a truly massive threat on the scale of that of the Second World War.  Guess what?  No one will believe it.  Worse, few will be willing to go.  ... Knowing that should they return maimed physically or mentally, their country will not be there for them.

While the jackass warming the seat in the Oval Office has absolutely no problem egregiously eviscerating the Fourth Amendment, that is, privacy of the American people falsely in the name of "national 'security,'" the President and his henchmen failed to protect the identity of the top CIA goon in Afghanistan.  Placing the traitorous bastard in great danger.  Disclosed it to 6,000 journalists.  ... Who wisely brought it to the attention of the idiots in the White House and very, very temporarily sat on that information.  Not for long, however.  Consequently, this man and his family have been needlessly, outrageously placed in danger by idiots.  Particularly, in the White House.  Without question, should have known better.  ...  Not that the media is blameless in the fiasco.  Some did the right thing and sat on the information.  Others did not.

Equally problematic?  Prior to launch last October, many in the states who qualified for Medicaid had not sought enrollment for a variety of reasons.  -- This, being normal Medicaid coverage, not expansion of Medicaid as now pushed by the President and his henchmen since before debut of Obamacare.  Consequently, the states were heretofore spared full brunt of their share of Medicaid expense.  No longer.  That changed since imposition of the individual mandate, which forced many new impoverished Medicaid qualified applicants into the pool.  Apparently, the President and his henchmen failed to anticipate the impact.

Guess what?  This is overloading the system, forcing cash strapped states to financially make up the difference for what amounts to an unfunded federal mandate.  Not clear how this will be resolved.  Will certainly worsen as planned continued federal financial support of expanded Medicaid coverage is reduced as time goes on.  Indeed, a double whammy.  Governors across the nation can be expected to bring new intense additional pressure on the Obama Regime.  ... As Obamacare continues to sag of its weight and what will likely turn out to be fatal systemic flaws.

Worse?  A bug in the software was just fixed that allowed hackers easy access to enrollee personal information.  Think that's the end of it? There won't be additional security breaches?  It's time to wake up.

The President intends to keep troops in Afghanistan until the end of his term.  Why?  To what end?  Why bother?  The Afghans have won every war for centuries.   Against every invading force.  Their resolve remains indisputable.  Will not be subjugated by anyone.  Let them take on the Taliban and al Qaeda.  When they tire of these bastards, think they won't kill every damned one?

According to your unprosecuted war criminal predecessor, Mr. President, the purported purpose of attacking Afghanistan was to capture and/or kill bin Laden and his henchmen.  Significantly, weaken al Qaeda and the Taliban.  You, and the bastard who preceded you in office, have been 'successful' doing precisely that.  You certainly managed to successfully summarily execute the terrorist ultimately responsible for 9/11, Osama bin Laden.

Despite the fact the son of a bitch offered no resistance, Navy SEALS killed him.  Was that what they were ordered to do, Mr. President?  The plan?  Thus, successfully preventing his proper return to New York for trial?  What used to be the American Way, Mr. President.  No longer.  Political expediency and gained advantage take precedence.  Despite many other examples during your regime, this stands out as one of the most egregious failures to uphold your oath of office.  That is, to protect and defend the United States Constitution.

This, your legacy, Mr. President.  ... Combined with NSA warrantless spying on the American public, imposition of the individual mandate and egregious abrogation of privacy vis a vis the 'Affordable' 'Care' Act,  continued imposition of what has become a fascist police-state falsely in the name of "national 'security,'" and countless other egregious violations of all civil and constitutional rights and liberties chronicled for years in this publication.

While the current body politic is too damned aggressively stupid, hopelessly ignorant, cowardly to appreciate the damage done by you and your predecessor, historians will be nowhere near as kind.  You have disgraced yourself, Mr. President.  Remain truly ashamed to have voted for you in 2008.  A mistake that was not repeated.

Will not be repeated nonetheless since this writer will no longer participate in the voting process.  Despite the fact there is no longer any reason to vote anyway since the status quo is always intentionally maintained, there is a far more pernicious reason for no longer participating in the electoral process.  You and your regime failed to prevent GOP implementation of Voter ID.

Cleverly designed by Republican fascists to prevent the poor, the elderly, and other disenfranchised from voting for non-Republicans.  Since they are most conveniently least likely to have 'proper' ID.  Not to allegedly and falsely prevent voter fraud which remains nearly statistically non-existent.  Despite all this, a nazi Supreme Court rubber stamped this atrocious law.

This writer, however, refuses to participate and show 'proper' ID for yet another far more sinister reason.  Voter ID is highly reminiscent of Nazi repression before and during the Second World War.  In Nazi Germany, Papieren, Bitte!, Papers, Please!, reined supreme to control and subjugate.  History is repeating itself, right here, right now.  Why willingly participate in this cleverly designed ongoing sham, no more than an egregious carefully engineered ruthless f--king of the public and Constitution?  Indeed, a ruse.

Yet, the hopelessly ignorant willingly forfeit personal information whenever anyone asks.  Can remember several years ago being incorrectly charged by the scanner in HEB.  Paid cash, as always, for the purchase.  Yet, the clerk at the Courtesy Counter wanted to swipe my drivers license to refund the difference.  Refused.  Received the refund anyway.  Stupidly, cluelessly couldn't understand why I wouldn't provide that information despite the fact she couldn't see it.  Why in hell should any corporation receive personal information it either sells or uses to track? Yet, the idiots in this country usually always comply.  Stupidly.  Cowardly.

As the sheep clearly, cowardly do at the polls.  Again, despite the fact there is no widespread voter fraud as falsely opined by GOP fascists.  Statistically insignificant.  Consequently, elections are even less reflective of reality since many have no 'proper' identification and thus conveniently denied the right to vote.  Others like this writer, again, will not comply out of principle and are equally denied the right to vote.  Papieren, Bitte!  Papers, Please!  Reminiscent of Nazi Germany.  A raucous, bootclicking, goosestepping, treasonous, traitorous Sieg Heil!, Mr. President?  Governor?

The President addressed West Point cadets 5-28-14.  Laid out his vision for projection of U.S. power abroad.  Partially in answer to GOP critics such as Arizona Sen. John McCain and others who have accused him of not aggressively projecting military power.  For years as well, the Fascist GOP Right have accused Democrats of diminishing American influence worldwide.

Clearly, Sen. McCain and other GOP hawks have neglected to mention the Senator and many others endured years of torture at the Hanoi Hilton as a result of U.S. projection of such power into a conflict that was none of our business, -- Vietnam.  To line pockets of corporate war profiteers and allow the idiots who run and own our formerly great country to get their cookies off ludicrously projecting that power.  At the cost of approximately 58,000 killed, tens of thousands maimed, and only God knows how many on the other side slaughtered, disabled.

Continued American involvement in Afghanistan some 13 years after 9/11 and counting, to say nothing of Iraq, have been miserable failures.  Incredibly, the President wants to continue the former yet another two years.  Worse, GOP fascists such as John McCain and Lindsey Graham want an open-ended commitment dependent on what commanders in theater think.  Unbelievable.

The President embracing a theme held dear by the Fascist Right declares, "I believe in American exceptionalism with every fiber of my being."  This is precisely why the United States is so feared, despised and hated throughout much of the world.  Haughty, Aryan arrogant, egregiously inflated visions of supposed American superiority and importance.  Sad.  Truly, sad.  Pathetic. Not patriotic.  Stupid.  Ignorant.  Pitifully, shortsighted.

Debacles in Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan have taught us nothing?  ... The truly great don't toot their horn, expect anything in return for doing the right thing, don't have the need to let others know how powerful and mighty they are.  They just quietly do what's right, let the chips fall where they may.  Don't demand gratitude, subservience, and subjugation from those they aid.  Failure to do so by a superpower is indeed called tyranny, Mr. President.  How are you any different than the GOP fascists who criticize you?

World reaction to your haughty phony belief in American "exceptionalism" is clear.  Unbridled ridicule, resentment.  Rightfully, so.  Worse?  Fear they will be the next victim of what they rightfully view as American imperialism.  Truth to power, Mr. President.  "America must always lead on the world stage."  Why, Mr. President?  Why?  Sadly, it's viewed as pompous, self-serving, imperialistic.  ... You don't get that?   Exactly, why things have gone so poorly for us on that very same world stage the last 64 years since onset of the Korean War.

Ominously, the President considers the military the "backbone of that leadership."  It's precisely this very kind of thinking and implemented policy that led to the debacles in Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, and Iraq.  Expect more of the same from this President and his successors should that policy foolishly continue.  A fallacy we've lived with 64 years at great expense in terms of blood and treasure.  Yet, the President and his henchmen remain clueless.  Continue to march in goosestep with GOP fascists despite the fact they're supposedly Democrats.

The President disingenuously admonished critics "who suggest that America is in decline, or has seen its global leadership slip away, are either misreading history or engaged in partisan politics."  Mr. Obama, wake up.   Idiocy in the Oval Office is unbecoming and the true threat to "national 'security.'"  How could you possibly believe we're not in decline?  That ill-informed?  Delusional?  ... Or, simply lying.

Conveniently forget that 99% of the public is living in what amounts to a financial depression?  That good jobs have been deliberately outsourced overseas?  That the corporate management suite is treasonously moving operations abroad to evade paying corporate taxes?  That the Fourth Amendment and privacy rights have been eviscerated by warrantless NSA spying on the American public, disingenuously justified by you and your henchmen?  That the USA 'Freedom' Act is no more than a smokescreen, a sham?  Do you really think the public that stupid?

The list can go on and on, Mr. President.  Clearly, you and your henchmen don't live in the same world as the rest of us.  Certainly, don't live by the same repressive, oppressive bullsh-t rules you callously force the rest of us to endure.  Your pompous paternalistic patronizing rhetoric rings hollow, distorts reality and falsely projects an image of our formerly great country that sadly no longer exists.  Thanks to the 'leadership' that has repeatedly taken a raucous hard dump on all civil and constitutional rights and liberties.  Falsely, in the name of "national 'security.'"  Rather, consolidation of executive power and creation of a fascist police-state.  A raucous, traitorous, treasonous Sieg Heil!, Mr. President?

Impossible to believe this publication could possibly have been brought to the attention of Secretary of State John Kerry vis a vis the Snowden edition several weeks ago.  Has to indeed be coincidence the subsequent exchange the Secretary had with the Associated Press regarding Edward Snowden recently published by Fox.  Seems Mr. Kerry thinks Snowden needs to "man up and come back to the United States."  ... Snowden ought to "stand up in the United States and make his case to the American people."

Mr. Kerry is certainly no idiot.  Ludicrously, now sounds like one, however.  Indeed, a far cry from the brilliant young veteran who boldly testified in front of a Senate sub committee regarding the Vietnam debacle back in 1971.  Should he return, the former Senator knows damn well Snowden would not be granted any opportunity to effectively defend himself.  Either in court or before the American media.

Kerry disingenuously further opined,  "If he cares so much about America and he believes in America, he should trust the American system of justice."  That's abject bullsh-t and the Secretary knows it.  In Nazi America, he would not be allowed to put on a whistle blower defense by the 'judge' who haughtily decides what is and is not 'proper' 'defense,' consequently railroaded to prison.  Without question, the nazi bastard on the bench would haughtily falsely label it 'irrelevant.'  Kerry knows that.  Is not that stupid and ignorant.  Just one more example of self-serving disingenuous deference to the dolt he serves in the Oval Office.

Worse?  Snowden has been charged under the Espionage Act.  Know what that means?  Most court proceedings would be held under closed doors.   The defendant denied the right to use classified information to defend himself.  Kerry also knows that.  Precisely, why the disingenuous bastard is no more than a liar.  Has disgraced himself.  Obliterated what little credibility he still had.

The Secretary of State disingenuously, patronizingly further opined, "I think he's confused.  I think it's very sad. But this is a man who has done great damage to his country."   What is sad is the fact the Secretary is a liar.  What damage? Where?  Neither he nor others making the same, old, tired, phony argument offer any evidence, proof.  Why?  There is none.  Failure to produce this information due to "national 'security'" concerns is goddamned bullsh-t, a ruse.  Snowden is a national hero.  Exposed the traitors at NSA for precisely whom and what they are.  To say nothing of the President and his henchmen.  Including Kerry. A public service.

Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric Shinseki finally did the right thing.  Resigned.  A sad end to a most remarkable military career.  Gen. Shinseki was wounded in Vietnam.  Displayed incredible courage.  Cool under fire.  Great commander.  Loved by his troops.  Fearlessly, spoke truth to power.  Cost him his military career when he challenged George "The Tush" Bush's stupid ill-conceived plan to topple Saddam on the cheap.

Hard to believe such a savvy, experienced leader could be so bamboozled vis a vis the VA fiasco.  Had been in office for over five years.  Didn't he and top management in Washington tour VA facilities unannounced to see what was truly going on?  -- Not only at high noon, but three in the morning?  All over the country.  How else do you reliably get a feel for what is truly happening?  These problems have been an issue for years.  Nothing new.  Have spoken to many veterans over the decades.  Some highly appreciate the quality of care.  Others, appalled.  Indeed, a mixed bag.

Shinseki's resignation, no more than forced, will do nothing to correct these problems.  Care for veterans should be largely privatized.  Certain services, such as amputee care and post traumatic stress, however, should remain with this agency due to its experience in treating such issues.  Should be no waiting time to see a physician.  If VA care is largely privatized, scheduling problems should no longer be of consequence.

371 to 371.  Tie vote in the JP2 runoff.  -- Ever take a statistics class?  ... Know how astronomical the chances are of a tie?  To be a recount.  Think its integrity can be trusted?  Should the count be 'confirmed,' think flipping a coin or drawing straws a suitable way to resolve the contest?  No matter who wins, the public loses.  Forget?  The incumbent should be criminally investigated by an outside agency for her conduct in office.

Equally pointedly, although indeed legal in Nazi Texas, the challenger has an egregious conflict of interest.  His wife will shortly be sworn in as County Attorney.  As JP2 and County Attorney, the integrity of both will always be in question in any professional dealing direct or indirect both may have with the other.  Can you imagine the pillow talk?  Justice will certainly not be served.   ... Not that there is any in this hellhole County, anyway.   It's rigged.  Always has been.  Don't believe it?  Look through all the material in this publication dating back to launch in March 1999.

An extremely credible trusted source very close to the election claims law enforcement is avoiding doing business with JP2 as much as possible.  Have not been able to confirm this as of post time.  The source has refused to disclose his or her source of this information.  Has insisted on remaining anonymous.  The claim is credible, however, in view of the fact the Sheriff's Office clearly had no confidence in the 'judge.'  Haughtily ran one of its jackbooted thugs to replace the incumbent.  Unsuccessfully.  Without question, there is trouble in 'paradise.'  How much and the precise nature of which remain unclear.

Without law enforcement power to compel information disclosure, it is extremely difficult to assess what is truly going on when those directly involved can't or won't go on or off the record to talk about what they know.  Remain too fearful.  Exactly, as what the powers to be desperately want and expect.  Enables the abuse, corruption, and tyranny to continue unabated.  Worse?

Truth remains a moving target in this hellhole County.  Not only from malfeasance, but those who have cluelessly drunk the Kool Aide and won't question the integrity of those who run and own the County and are egregiously f--king the public.  Sadly, there is a desperate need for a criminal investigation of all County activity.

Have called for one since this publication was launched over fifteen years ago.  Even earlier, had called for the same in letters to the editor in local publications dating back at least 29 years.  Problem?  There is no one qualified or willing to do so.  The Texas Rangers, Civil Rights Division of the 'Justice' Department, and even the FBI have repeatedly proved themselves to be achingly ineffective, indifferent, and blind to ubiquitous abuse and corruption.  Consequently, we indeed have the very best County money can buy.  Literally.

JP2 Linda Ballard Recording

Click here for a most interesting conversation between JP2 Linda Ballard and LCRA Communications Supervisor Mitch Hibbs who at the time was investigating a complaint made by the Henderson family against the 'judge.'  The recording had been made by Hibbs and provided by Phyllis Henderson who had gotten it through an open records request.   During the course of the recording you will hear the 'judge' make a terroristic threat against the Henderson family which the investigator laughingly shrugged off as a joke.

Seems former LCRA Ranger Lance Bilski, stepson of Llano County Sheriff Bill Blackburn, had been harassing the Henderson family regarding their tire business, Henderson Tire.  Worse? There are unsubstantiated allegations, that although very much attached, Bilski may have indeed engaged in improprieties, that is, egregiously unprofessional conduct relevant to the Henderson complaint.  All this had been covered in Newsletter Text V346.

Publication of this material, however, should in no way be interpreted as endorsement of Ballard's opponent, Steve Lange, in the upcoming runoff.  It is not.  It is provided as a public service to expose the 'judge' for exactly whom and what she is.
