Ramzi bin al-Shibh is one of five Guantanamo Bay prisoners about to
stand trial for the 9/11 attacks. The death penalty a possibility.
Mr. bin al-Shibh has repeatedly claimed to have been tortured. Col.
James L. Pohl is the 'judge' in charge of the pre-trial military commission
hearing. The Colonel is clearly not a happy camper.
Four times last week bin al-Shibh was ejected from the hearing.
Seems the 'judge' tired of this prisoner's repeated torture claims.

Colonel? Readers should clearly understand the United States military,
as well as CIA goons, routinely waterboarded and otherwise abused prisoners.
For years. The current jackass warming the seat in the Oval Office
supposedly put an end to such abuse.
Regardless, five defendants who allegedly aided the 9/11 attacks are
about to undergo a kangaroo 'trial' at the Gitmo Gulag. -- A military
commission which is cleverly designed to ensure conviction, and deprive
defendants of the right to adequately defend themselves. A show trial.
This, despite the fact these men were tortured to elicit information.
Information that is then conveniently used to convict them. For military
prosecutors to argue otherwise is the height of hypocrisy and hubris.
The 'judge' has ordered bin al-Shibh to undergo a mental evaluation.
Clearly, smacks of the former Soviet Union.
Mr. President, is this the best your Gitmo henchmen have to offer?
If this bastard is truly guilty, why not provide the same rights guarantied
to anyone accused in the United States? Are you capitulating to pressure
from fascists in both the Republican and Democratic Parties who clearly
want a guarantied conviction? Has the case against these men been
so compromised due to the torture and abuse you could not secure a conviction
in a federal courtroom in New York?
Defense counsel for one of the five has had difficulties obtaining a
translator and a death penalty mitigation specialist who has security clearance.
Clearly, your henchmen, Mr. President, are doing all they can to make it
as difficult as possible for these men to receive a fair 'trial.'
Is this now the American Way, Mr. Obama, or just an extension of nazi justice
begun during a military commission of Nazi saboteurs during the Second
World War?
The Colonel instructed bin al-Shibh's defense counsel the defendant
would only be allowed to answer the 'judge's' questions with yes or no
responses. Why? The defendant might divulge classified information.
The old Catch-22, right,
Mr. President? This, despite the fact the very same 'judge' had earlier lifted
a ruling that asserted prisoner treatment during incarceration was classified.
Understand the point, dear readers. The government had previously classified
torture and abuse. Why? Think hard. Harder.
To protect the sorry asses of the jackbooted thugs responsible for it.
Convenient, isn't it? Now, when the defendant complains of torture
and abuse, the 'judge' will hear none of it. Wouldn't want to confuse
the bastard with the truth, would we?
The world already knows these men were tortured and abused, Mr. President.
There is nothing to hide, sir. The curtain has been pulled away.
We all know your predecessor and his henchmen lied like hell. Clearly,
our formerly great country has been disgraced, compromised.
A kangaroo 'trial' at the Gitmo Gulag is the best this government has
to offer? Why have defense attorneys been told what they can and
cannot discuss with their clients, Mr. President. This is no more than
nazi justice in a fascist police-state, sir.
Conditions in the Gulag are apparently so bad prisoners have gone on
a hunger strike. Are force fed. Samir Naji al-Hasan Moqbel
claims to have been ill in a prison hospital. When he refused to
eat, eight MPs in riot gear burst into the room. Tied his hands and
feet to the bed, inserted an IV into his hand. Allegedly, was catheterized,
spent some 26 hours like this.
Others have been force-fed nasally. There is a growing chorus
of criticism world-wide of this as amounting to no more than torture.
Most of these men have remained uncharged for years. Many don't belong
there. Have been refused habeas corpus. Access to the courts.
A blight on our formerly great country. Sadly, guarantied to increase
terror and hatred worldwide.
Worse, the military has shut down whatever little transparency there
was regarding these forced-feedings. It's time for change, Mr. President.
The American public has a right to know what is being done in its name
at the Gitmo Gulag. This, clearly, is un-American, sir. Both
the forced-feedings as well as the lack of transparency. What else
is going on in the Gulag we're unaware of, Mr. President?
Why are medical and psychological personnel participating in the interrogation
and forced-feedings of these prisoners? Participation by these professionals
is in direct violation of their code of ethics. Is this the way things
are now done in Nazi America?

tyrants have weapons at their disposal to squelch dissent. Always
remain willing to use them. The former Soviet Union notoriously institutionalized
dissenters, falsely claiming they had mental problems. Seems the
Obama Regime is employing a similar tactic at the Gitmo Gulag.
