This publication has been in suspension since March 2003 for reasons explained on the Home Page.  Much has happened in the United States, as well as the rest of the world, since the last edition.  ... Sadly, most of it disturbing.  Much of it achingly heartbreaking.

Got guts? Tired of being lied to? Like an alternative source of information truly independent and free of government propaganda? Want this publication to continue? Send a donation to P.O. Box 151, Buchanan Dam, Tx. 78609.

Publisher's Note: This publication receives no financial support through advertising.  Although shaken down, looted, and abused by corrupt government, area businesses remain unwilling to stand up.  Locals are too gutless to donate financially, cowardly fearing retribution.  For this publication to survive, national readers need to contribute.  Liberty In Peril is, has been, and will always remain beholden to NO ONE. -- Precisely why there is no financial assistance.  ... From day of launch and certainly a no-brainer to this very day, firmly resolved to walk away first rather than compromise principle. -- To the chagrin of many and delight of few.    T.C. (5-7-13).

For new readers:  Fascism, nazism, national socialism defined as the pernicious blend of government, business, and religion. 'Justified' by perversion and bastardization of the latter.

Again, in the interest of alacrity, extremely limited time currently, this is an abridged version of the usual Newsletter Text.  No bells and whistles:

"Sonny Boy."  "Sonny Boy," who?  "Sonny Boy" McAfee.  Who else?  Our new, appear out of nowhere, District Attorney.  Who is this guy?  Is he, indeed, worth a crap?  Unlike ole' Sam "The Sham" Oatman who wasn't?  Don't yet know.  Hope local attorneys friendly to this publication will have their say.

There are, however, problems within the District Attorney's Office.  Long-term problems that certainly did not disappear with "Sonny Boy's" ascension to the throne.  ... And that, dear readers, is precisely the problem.

One that's interestingly surfaced recently is McAfee's approach of Burnet County Commissioners with hat in hand.  Seems "Sonny Boy" and others want to realign employment affiliation of his office.  "Administrative reassignment changing their employer of record from Llano County to Burnet County," according to one of the local rags.

That, precisely, is indicative of the greatest problem within the District Attorney's Office.  This Office is truly accountable to no one.  Not even voters, -- since hardly anyone will ever run against an incumbent.  Worse, most elections are settled in the primaries,  ... Since most of Texas, including nazi Llano County, has turned Republican.

The lack of accountability runs much deeper, however. The District Attorney does not answer to the Texas Attorney General.  For decades, district attorneys are imbued with nearly unlimited power.  They do not answer to the Texas Rangers.  Quite the opposite.  If the district attorney does not wish to prosecute, rarely does a prosecution occur.  The only exceptions are truly egregious abuses where political pressure brought to bear is too enormous for the bastard to endure.  Precisely, why Oatman 'retired.'

All this must change.  Local district attorneys must be held accountable to the State.  After all, they're prosecuting State felonies.  They and staff should not be paid by the Counties they allegedly serve.  -- Too much chance of abuse of power, bribery, and other chicanery.  We have to find a better way of handling this.  These bastards must be held accountable for these abuses.  They're not.  Protected by sovereign immunity statutes that protect and coddle them.

According to credible sources, the County Attorney "double dips."  That is, she prosecutes husbands for misdemeanor domestic abuse, while representing their wives in divorce suits.  A local attorney friend asserts this is legal.  It most certainly is not ethical.  Is "Sonny Boy" doing the same on the felony level?  Provide this publication with proof of either prosecutor engaging in this practice and other highly questionable practices.  It will be published.  All of it.

On 5-8-13, the Llano County Sheriff's Office conducted a raid at 202 E. Navarro in Llano.  'Backed up' by the Llano Police Department and ATF.  Raising many questions asked of the Sheriff in the fifth letter to his Office dated 5-21-13. Click on the icon just below the hacker icon to find it.

... Speaking of the devil...to say nothing of intense additional pressure brought to bear on the hacker and Cisco as well.  Click on the icon just below to access it.
