Again, in the interest of alacrity, this is an abridged
version of
the usual Newsletter Text. No bells and whistles:
Leadership. Good
leadership.
Where? No longer exists. At no level of
government.
At no branch of government. We've lost our way.
Grown hopelessly
stale.
Worse? Government remains unresponsive.
Achingly unresponsive. We tolerate a President who
seems to
have forgotten the lessons of Richard Nixon. We have a
Congress,
particularly Republicans, who removed prohibitions on abuses, excesses
of Executive power imposed after Watergate.
Consequently, we 'enjoy' the abuse of power currently displayed by the
jackass now occupying the Oval Office. Aren't we lucky?
-- Not, however, to ignore his predecessor, ole' George "The
Tush" who went
to war in Iraq under false pretenses, remains responsible for thousands
killed on our side, far more on the other, as well as tens of thousands
maimed. Committed war crimes, yet has not been prosecuted
here,
or at The Hague. Nor his henchmen, particularly, ole' "Slick
Dick" Cheney.
What has changed under the Obama regime? Truly changed?
What?
We still abuse prisoners at Gitmo. Now, force feed
them.
Many by admission of our government don't belong there.
Are
innocent. Supposedly, have no where else to go. A
handful
who do need to be prosecuted will be at a kangaroo military tribunal.
Indeed, we, as a people, have lost ourselves. Our
principles. Our direction.
The problem extends much further. What has ole' Rick "The
Prick" Perry done for us? What?
What leadership? Where? What has the
Texas
Legislature accomplished? The bastards won't even pass term
limits. Why should they? It's how they line their
pockets.
Yet, we tolerate this. Gallingly, ludicrously
praise the f--ker for the
f--king. Amusingly, we get what we truly deserve.
-- The
finest government money can buy.
Government is arrogantly, haughtily unresponsive. Our Sheriff
does as he pleases. His goons work for him, not
the people of Llano County. Clearly, this pillar of
leadership
does not believe he answers to voters. He doesn't, does he?
After all, you'll return the bastard to office, won't you?
Blackburn
and his thugs are harassing business owners. Bastardizing old
and
new statutes to impose the will of those who falsely believe they run
and own Llano County. The entire County is treated as an
incorporated area. Ostensibly, to 'clean up' eyesores.
This, simply, is untrue. Abject bullsh-t.
Rather,
cleverly, it's used to shake down private citizens and business owners.
Line County coffers and the pockets of the bastards running
the
show.
Mickey White had the courage to stand up to Blackburn and
his goons. His story is reported in the latest letter to the
Sheriff. Again, if you've been harassed, abused, shaken down
by
these bastards contact me. -- Whether a business owner or
private
citizen. The only way this bullsh-t will end is to expose it
to
the light of day.
