"Justice" Department Audit Claims FBI Abused USA "Patriot" Act March 9, 2006
Surprise,
surprise. A recent
"Justice" Department audit found FBI goons have indeed violated privacy
rights of innocent citizens using the USA "Patriot" Act. ...
Who'd
a' 'thunk' it? Where are congressional investigations of
these abuses?
Where the hell are both Texas U.S. senators who support this
outrageously
unconstitutional law and have remained cowardly silent since findings
of
the audit were announced?
Apparently,
eight U.S. attorneys
have been forced to resign, i.e. fired by the Bush
"Administration."
... Including one in New Mexico, allegedly for refusing to indict
Democrats
before
the November election. -- Another, for refusing to provide
two Republican
lawmakers with prosecutorial information. Fascinating, isn't
it?
Where are congressional investigations?
Indicted former "Vice President" "Slick Dick" Cheney Chief of Staff Scooter Libby has been convicted of four of five counts, including obstruction of justice, lying to federal agents, and two counts of perjury in the Valerie Plame outing fiasco. Tough, isn't it? He plans to appeal. Why has he not been remanded?
Worse, "Justice" Department prosecutors have to date given "Vice President" "Slick Dick" Cheney a free pass. ... Despite allegations Mr. Cheney may indeed have been the prime mover behind the illegal outing of the identity of former CIA operative Valerie Plame. -- Criminal disclosure of her identity in apparent retaliation for criticism of the Bush "Administration" by her husband, Joe Wilson.
Cheney, Rove, and Armitage have successfully escaped prosecution. Be interesting to see if Libby sings like a canary, -- unless the "President" pardons him. Regardless, ole' Scooter is a most convenient fall guy, apparently willing to fall on the sword for "Slick Dick," ole' George "The Tush," Karl Rove, and Richard Armitage. The fix is certainly in, courtesy of the Bush "Administration's" outrageously corrupt and abusive "Justice" Department. ... Ain't fascism grand? Certainly, self-serving.
The jury took ten days to reach its decision. Apparently, they were not happy Libby was scapegoated in an effort to protect higher-ups. Democrats are afraid the "President" will quickly pardon Libby in an effort to protect Cheney, Rove, Armitage, and others. Amusingly, Armitage even admitted he spoke to the media regarding Plame's identity.
While a presidential pardon is certainly legal and constitutional, it amounts to no more than legalized obstruction of justice, -- with profound consequences for future generations. Sadly, the pardon of Richard Nixon by his successor Gerry Ford is directly responsible for Reagan and Bush escaping criminal responsibility for Iran-Contra.
The precedent was conveniently established for allowing outrageously corrupt and abusive presidents and their vice presidential side kicks to escape justice. Precisely why the current occupant of the Oval Office, the most corrupt and abusive since Richard Nixon, has been allowed to operate with impunity with no investigations, criminal or congressional.
While
the abuse of power and abrogation
of civil and constitutional rights and liberties have been extensive as
reported repeatedly in this publication, the deliberate outing of the
identity
of a CIA operative in retaliation for criticism from her husband is
treason.
Yet, no one will apparently be prosecuted and/or impeached for the
crime.
Nazi
America.
Never
ever confront a fascist
with the truth, it may hopelessly confuse him. In a speech
earlier
today, "President" Bush claimed the "surge" in Iraq may be
"working."
... Despite the fact nine U.S. troops lost their lives yesterday and
violent
bombings continue relentlessly.
Indeed, there is apparently no limit to aggressive stupidity in the formerly great State of Texas. The Texas House finally passed a version of Jessica's Act that provides a first offense penalty of 25 years in prison for sexual abuse of children. For additional offenses, the perpetrator would be subject to life in prison without parole or the death penalty.
Sadly, the cowardly fascist element in the House did not carefully consider the profound ramifications of this outrageously unconstitutional and abusive bill. First, most offenders are family members or friends. No question, this will severely limit the willingness of victims to come forward and implicate loved ones.
... Loved ones who would be imprisoned for a considerable period of time or legally murdered by the state. Consequently, reporting of this outrageous crime may precipitously drop. Worse, the death penalty will ensure perpetrators will likely murder their victims, -- to eliminate the only witness to their appalling crimes. How does this serve children? How?
Equally troubling to civil and constitutional rights and liberties, the death penalty would be applied to perpetrators who sexually abuse one child for thirty days or more, or who sexually abuse more than one kid for at least thirty days or more. The victim would not be required to unequivocally state the exact time and date of each offense, -- just the fact the crimes occurred more than once over a thirty day period. Convenient, isn't it?
This is outrageous kangaroo Nazi "justice" in our formerly great country. Where is the due process and adherence to constitutional rights? What happens when an aggrieved spouse falsely implicates the other? As has happened thousands of times during divorce proceedings? What better way to exquisitely screw the other parent?
Adding
insult to injury, nearly
all perpetrators of these heinous crimes have themselves
been victimized
as children. Now, we will cowardly and conveniently kill
them.
Nothing quite like "Christian" "charity" in Nazi America,
is there?
-- Where the legislative bastards responsible for this atrocious
legislation
hypocritically and piously get down on bended knee each Sunday.
...
After cowardly beating the
shit out of their own children, -- pardon,
"spanking" to be goddamned
politically correct.
Why
aren't these pathetically
sad sick souls who sexually abuse children permanently
incarcerated
in mental institutions for the criminally insane? ... Since
there
is no "cure," -- with absolutely no chance of getting out unless they
are
indeed proven not guilty by future evidence. To do otherwise
is barbaric.
To put them in prisons where they will be beaten and killed by other
prisoners
is equally barbaric. To legally murder them by execution is
especially
barbaric. Sadly, a true measure of exactly how far we've gone
backwards
as a formerly great country. Nazi America,
where day
is night, night is day, and manure smells perversely sweet.
In an apparent effort to quell increasing criticism of mistreatment of recovering troops at Walter Reed Medical Center housing facilities, the United States military is systematically denying reporters access to troops not only there, but elsewhere, including bases in San Antonio. Why? What are they afraid of?
If nothing to hide, why deny reporters access? Apparently, the military and the outrageously corrupt and abusive Bush "Administration" have forgotten a free press is indeed guaranteed by the First Amendment.
Amusingly, the Fascist Right has championed "privatization" of government services. Why? Because they claim the private sector can do things more efficiently and at cheaper cost. The Nazi Right, however, conveniently ignores outsourcing of military services to Halliburton and other contractors who have absolutely f--ked American taxpayers and short-changed troops.
Interestingly,
IAP Worldwide Services
is apparently directly responsible for the horrendous conditions
wounded
military personnel have been forced to live under at Walter
Reed.
Where were the generals? Why weren't they touring these
facilities,
unannounced at any time of the day or night? Don't they give
a damn
about their troops? Where were our lawmakers?
...
Amusingly, IAP is the same
corporation that bungled ice deliveries after Katrina. Then
again,
we do get exactly what we deserve, don't we?
Billions and billions of U.S. dollars have not been accounted for in Iraq. New Yorker Magazine reporter Seymour Hirsh in a recent article and during a CNN interview with Wolf Blitzer on February 25 claimed the Bush "Administration" may be funding terrorist groups in Iraq and elsewhere fighting Shiites.
... Seems the "President" has decided Shiite Iran is an imminent threat to U.S. "national security" and must be countered no matter the cost. -- Even if such funding reaches Sunni al Qaeda operatives. Fascinating, isn't it?
To date, however, no congressional investigation has been launched. Why? Billions have gone unaccounted, yet both parties in Congress apparently have no appetite to investigate our outrageously corrupt and abusive "Commander In Chief" and his henchmen. Again, why? Why are we protecting and coddling presidents who have become a law unto themselves?
