Sadly, the "President" of the United States and his henchmen are desperate.  Pre-midterm polling indicates Republicans may be in for a rude awakening election day.  Tough, isn't it?  To rally the base, however, Mr. Bush has renewed his opposition to gay marriage.  In addition, he signed the "Secure" Fence Bill into law earlier today.

This statute authorizes a 700-mile fence along the southern border.  It has no teeth since no funding was provided.  Imagine that.  Estimated cost?  Two to $6 billion.  Other estimates ranged as high as $10 billion.

-- For a fence that does not extend across the entire border.  -- A fence that will leak like a sieve, regardless.  ... A fence that will become as shameful to our formerly great country as the Berlin Wall.

The following is a series of unedited email correspondence between the American Civil Liberties Union and this writer in regard to criminal deletions of Ledger websites over a year ago.  To date, no response, other than a canned autosponder message has been received from national ACLU headquarters to the latest complaint filed.  Apparently, ACLU no longer has any interest in First Amendment issues, -- or is wildly incompetent.  You decide.  ACLU-Criminal Website Deletions
