School Killings October 3, 2006
Recently, they've been three deadly school shooting incidents. The latest was yesterday in a one-room Amish schoolhouse in Nickel Mines, PA. Charles Carl Roberts, 32, went on a rampage shooting ten girls. Three were killed immediately, two others died overnight.
Initial reports claimed Roberts was settling a 20-year-old "grudge." Earlier today, new reports indicated the "grudge" may have been in reality criminal activity committed by Roberts twenty years ago. -- Sexual abuse of children.
The
"President" plans to host
a conference addressing the growing school shooting problem
shortly.
-- Considerate of him, isn't it? The problems of sexual
abuse, physical
abuse, and killings of our children are seemingly at an all-time
high.
Sadly, a reflection of our growing willingness to use violence and
abuse
to solve problems. -- Right up to the highest echelons of
government.
The Bob Woodward book, State Of Denial, has had a profound effect on the "President" and his henchmen. Desperate, they've tried to discredit it. To date, to no avail. -- Woodward was extremely careful. Documented and tape-recorded sources.
The most interesting issue currently is the purported July 10, 2001 meeting where former CIA Director Tenet advised then-National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice of an imminent al Qaeda attack, -- to no avail.
While
this information was indeed
known earlier, it was brushed off by Dr. Rice and the Bush
"Administration."
With documentation, the substance of the meeting becomes "a whole
different
animal."
The Republican leadership in the House is scrambling to control spreading damage done by the Foley fiasco. Already Speaker Hastert has been advised to resign by The Washington Times. Seems Hastert knew some ten months ago and did nothing. ... When the foremost fascist rag in town jumps ship, the GOP knows it's in serious trouble. Worse, the "Christian" Right seems to be in disarray. -- They may sit out the election.
Foley voluntarily placed himself in rehab for alcoholism and "emotional difficulties" Monday. Convenient, isn't it? Now claims through his attorney he's gay and was sexually abused himself as a 13-15 year-old teenager by a clergyman.
First, the scandal is not about homosexuality. -- It's about pedophilia. Second, any possible earlier abuse is a reason, not an excuse for present, unacceptable criminal behavior. Both political parties are calling for criminal and congressional investigations.
Republicans
clearly know this
fiasco may indeed cost them the election. Amusingly, it's
become
a question of what did the leadership know and when did they know it?
Rep. Mark Foley was to be a shoe-in for re-election. ... The operant word, -- "was." Earlier today, the Republican fascist from Florida quickly resigned in disgrace. ... After being confronted by ABC News with improper, sexually explicit emails he sent to a 16-year-old boy, a congressional page.
Mr. Foley was co-chair of the congressional Caucus On Missing & Exploited Children. Worked with John Walsh, host of America's Most Wanted. Fascinating, isn't it? At the least, damned hypocritical. There will be a congressional investigation. Likely, federal and state investigations as well.
Interestingly,
Mr. Foley, a member
of the Republican leadership, was well-known among other top
Republicans
including House Speaker Dennis Hastert for his pedophile proclivities
and
email activities for approximately the last ten months. Yet,
they
did nothing. Sat on the information.
The
following is a series of unedited
email correspondence between the American Civil Liberties Union and
this
writer in regard to criminal deletions of Ledger websites over a year
ago.
To date, no response, other than a canned autosponder message has been
received from national ACLU headquarters to the latest complaint
filed.
Apparently, ACLU no longer has any interest in First Amendment issues,
-- or is wildly incompetent. You decide. ACLU-Criminal
