Pre-Truce Fighting Worsens In Lebanon August 13, 2006

Supposedly, all fighting will cease tomorrow morning 8 AM Lebanon time.  Fighting intensified over the last several days.  Israel began a full-scale invasion, raising the number of troops from 10,000 to 30,000.  Fighting has indeed been ferocious.

Yesterday, at least 24 Israeli terrorists were killed in fierce combat.  Israel claims to have killed some 40 Hezbollah terrorists.  Hezbollah continues to unabatedly launch rockets into Israel.  Also, they shot down an Israeli helicopter.

Clearly, Israeli terrorists have not defeated Hezbollah.  ... Despite deliberately killing hundreds of Lebanese civilians and extensively destroying Lebanese infrastructure.  Nearly all Israeli casualties have been military.  Conversely, nearly all Lebanese killed and/or maimed have been civilian.  ... Again, who are the terrorists?

Hezbollah terrorists, while supposedly agreeing to the ceasefire, claim they reserve the right to kill Israeli terrorists still occupying their country.  Certainly, will be extremely interesting to see how seemingly insurmountable obstacles will be handled by both sides.  Can only hope both will take a deep breath and consider the consequences should the fighting continue indefinitely.

Reportedly, Bush "Administration" henchmen pressured British law enforcement to pre-maturely make arrests in the terrorist "plot" fiasco currently underway in England.  Consequently, serious questions are being raised as to whether or not there is sufficient evidence to proceed with prosecution in at least some of the arrests.

No passports were found.  No airline tickets seized.  No explosives.  No dry runs made by terrorist suspects.  Evidence appears to be seriously lacking.  Reportedly, British authorities wanted an additional week to gather evidence, but were pressured by Bush to immediately make the arrests.  Interesting, isn't it?  Stay tuned.  More to come...

British subjects are certainly not stupid.  Already, they're questioning the claims of their government regarding the arrest of at least 23 British Moslems in a supposed terrorist "plot" to have been executed shortly.

They point to the continued vacation of Prime Minister Tony Blair in Barbados.  ... If this is the most serious terrorist "plot" since the Second World War, why is he still on holiday?  Interesting, isn't it?  Then again, don't ever confuse an aggressively stupid public with the facts.  Despite an "investigation" taking months, British law enforcement is unable to confirm the terrorists are al Qaeda.  Fascinating, isn't it?

Readers are reminded British law enforcement wantonly gunned down an innocent Australian shortly after the train bombing in July 2005.  Not one of these thugs has, or will, be prosecuted for the crime.  Law enforcement is indeed the only profession where a goon can wear a badge, carry a gun, and is licensed to kill.

Already, the fascist occupying the Oval Office in our formerly great country is self-servingly using the supposedly "foiled" "plot" to political advantage.  He and his GOP henchmen are desperately afraid Republicans will likely receive the boot in coming midterms.  Particularly in the House, -- where the "President" will indeed be subject to impeachment hearings until the end of his term if Democrats take over.  Tough, isn't it?

Last night, the UN Security Council unanimously passed a resolution aimed at ending the war between Israel and Lebanon.  Both countries will likely vote to accept the proposal today.  Hezbollah has already said it will not stand in the way.  Be interesting to see if indeed it complies.

Fierce fighting continues between Israeli and Hezbollah terrorists.  Both sides are intensely struggling for advantage before cessation of hostilities.  Hezbollah claims it will cooperate despite the fact Israeli atrocities over the last month have not been addressed in the ceasefire resolution.  Also, Israeli occupation of Lebanese territory will continue indefinitely.  No date certain for withdrawal has been set.

Nearly all Israeli casualties to date have been military.  Conversely, nearly all Lebanese casualties are civilian.  ... Again, who are the terrorists?  Be interesting to see if Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is ever brought to justice for Israeli war crimes committed during the last month of fighting.

The Butcher of Tel Aviv has proven he is every bit the war criminal his predecessor Ariel Sharon was.  Deliberate targeting of Lebanese civilians and infrastructure is a criminal over reaction to Hezbollah capture of two Israeli soldiers and a rocket attack that directly led to the current war.  It clearly demonstrates the amoral character of our long-term ally and stooge in the Middle East.

Interestingly, had Ariel Sharon been in good health and remained in power, it is highly likely the butcher of the 1982 invasion of Lebanon would not have repeated his "mistake."  Would have been far more reluctant to see failed history repeat itself.  Sadly, Israel has foolishly created yet another generation of terrorists determined to drive it into the sea.

Apparently, British authorities successfully prevented a terrorist attack that may have been linked to al Qaeda.  At least 21 British Muslims were arrested in the "plot."  ... A "conspiracy" that supposedly involved the bombing of commercial aircraft traveling between England and the United States.

The British claim to have been "investigating" the "plot" for several months.  The Bush "Administration" claims to have known several weeks, and was supposedly fully-informed the last few days by British authorities.

It is not clear if any of this is true.  It may be no more than hype.  Then again, it may have been the bona fide work of al Qaeda.  British and American authorities have lied and/or distorted reality so many times for self-serving reasons it is next to impossible to determine what is and isn't true.

Consider the timing of the arrests.  Things are going extremely badly in the "War Against Terror."  -- Not only in the Middle East between Israel and Hezbollah, but in Iraq and Afghanistan as well.  What better time to make hay politically than the present?  Why wasn't the "plot" broken up months ago?  Why wasn't the flying public informed quite some time ago?  Why wasn't the possibility of assembling a bomb kit aboard an aircraft in flight not addressed by authorities after initial disclosure of the problem back in March?  The questions can go on and on.  Sadly, the result of neither government having any credibility at all.

Piously at a hastily-arranged news conference, the "President" rightfully called the terrorists "Islamic fascists."  He's right.  They are.  So, also, is the "President" a fascist, himself.  Mr. Bush has perniciously consolidated presidential power.  Deliberately eviscerated the Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, and Eighth Amendments by signing outrageously unconstitutional legislation into law.
... Bills such as the USA "Patriot" Act, Homeland "Security" Act, etc., as well as Executive Orders cleverly designed to do the same.  -- Laws and Executive Orders deliberately designed to eviscerate civil and constitutional rights and liberties, supposedly in the name of "national security."

He also intentionally went to war in Iraq under knowingly false pretenses.  After all, weapons inspectors had repeatedly advised him there were no weapons of mass destruction.  They were right.  Mr. Bush still chose to invade.  Three and a half years later, we're getting our asses kicked and Iraq is verging on civil war.  Nearly 2600 of our best and brightest have been killed for nothing.  Another 20,000 have been maimed.  For what?

Amusingly, the "President" calling terrorists fascists is akin to the kettle calling the pot black.  Then again, fascism is fascism, whether "Christian" or "Moslem."  Nazism is Nazism.  The "President" should know.  After all, he's eviscerated civil and constitutional rights and liberties.  Again, gallingly, falsely in the name of "national security."  He falsely claims to be preserving freedom, while in reality eviscerating it.  Yet, the aggressively stupid American public remains gutlessly silent.  ... And questions nothing.

While the threat from Moslem terrorists is indeed real and must be dealt with, the far, far greater threat to our formerly great country resides in all levels of corrupt and abusive government.  Particularly, at the federal level and in the Oval Office.  The Founders must indeed be spinning in their graves.  Day is night, night is day, and manure smells sickeningly sweet in the perverse world of the Right Wing fascist.  ... Exactly as the "President" and his henchmen want.

Poised to launch a large-scale invasion of Lebanon, apparently Israeli terrorists have gotten far more than expected from Hezbollah.  Hezbollah terrorists have indeed offered unexpectedly stiff resistance to Israeli fighters and continue to unabatedly launch rockets into the Israeli heartland.  Fifteen Israeli terrorists were killed by Hezbollah fighters yesterday alone.

Today, Israel has claimed it's delaying launch of a full-scale invasion several days to give UN-sponsored peace efforts a chance.  Clearly, Israeli butchers in Tel Aviv know losses will be heavy should they launch the invasion.  Hezbollah terrorists have promised stiff resistance and appear quite ready and able to deliver.  Hopefully, both sides will take a deep breath and carefully consider the consequences.  ... While the fascist occupying the Oval Office continues to gleefully and gutlessly watch Israeli terrorists do his dirty work.

Connecticut Democrat Sen. Joe Lieberman got his clock cleaned in the primary today.  Voters decided they no longer wanted Mr. Lieberman and his support of the "President" and war in Iraq.  Interesting, isn't it?  A portend of things to come?  For both Republican and Democrat fascists who supported Mr. Bush's invasion of Iraq under false pretenses?  We'll see.

Regardless, Lieberman will run as an Independent.  -- Clearly, ole' Joe doesn't know when to retire and gracefully move on to other things.  Pressure from Democrat partisans will indeed be intense over the next thirty days or so.  If his poll numbers continue to slide, expect the Senator to withdraw.  Otherwise, anticipate a three-way race with Lieberman as the spoiler.  ... Tough, isn't it?

Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has expressed "interest" in an unanimous resolution passed by the Lebanese offering to replace Israeli troops in Lebanon with 15,000 Lebanese troops.  Sticking point?  The Butcher of Israel states Hezbollah must first disarm.  Not a snowball's chance.

Apparently, Olmert and his fellow thugs have gotten far more than expected from Hezbollah.  Resistance has been fierce and rockets continue to rain down unabatedly on Israel.  Olmert may finally be looking for some face-saving way to get out of the failed offensive, however.

Sadly, nearly all Lebanese casualties are civilian.  Israeli casualties are nearly all military.  Again, who are the terrorists?  The deliberate Israeli attacks on civilians are far more than unintended "collateral damage."

Although hundreds of non-combatants have been killed and nearly all Lebanese infrastructure destroyed, the butchers of Israel have been unsuccessful in their defeat of Hezbollah and its uncompromised ability to launch hundreds of missiles each day against the Israeli homeland.  Sad, isn't it?

Time to make peace, Mr. Prime Minister.  Return to your pre-1967 borders.  Compensate all Arabs for land seized through brutally barbaric terrorist tactics you now decry, used by the Israelis themselves to form the State of Israel in 1948.  Recognize the independence of Palestine and support creation of a Palestinian state to live in peace next to Israel.  Do it now, before too late.

Continue the offensive use of American-supplied weapons in direct violation of U.S. weapons export law, -- and expect continued terrorism and the eventual destruction of the Israeli state through attrition.  After all, your Arab enemies outnumber your population more than 20 to one.

It's time for permanent peace, Mr. Olmert.  It's time to release the approximately 9,500 Palestinians you hold in your jails.  It's time to stop torturing prisoners, Mr. Prime Minister.  It's time to live like a civilized Western country you claim to be.  It's time to reject assimilation and use of tactics your Nazi oppressors so effectively employed before and during the Second World War.  Wake up, Mr. Olmert, before it's too late.

As reported earlier, Austin Police Officer Julie Schroeder killed 18-year-old Daniel Rocha back in June 2005.  Shot him in the back.  Schroeder was fired by former Austin Police Chief Stan Knee.  Not surprisingly, she was no-billed by the Travis County Grand Jury.  -- After all, outrageously corrupt and abusive officers seldom are.

Her firing was appealed and considered by an independent arbiter.  Former Officer Schroeder lost.  Will not be rehired.  She does, however, look forward to a civil suit brought by Rocha's mother, a case that will likely go to trial next June.

Regardless, Ms. Schroeder has not, and will not, be held criminally responsible for the crime.  Had anyone other than an officer committed such a crime, their sorry ass would have been immediately arrested and jailed.  Not so, for police officers.  In fact, they are held to a different standard.  Clearly, entitled to special treatment.

Carry a gun and wear a badge, you indeed are granted a license to kill.  Seldom are officers held accountable.  They're protected by equally corrupt and abusive district attorneys and gutless citizens sitting on grand juries.  In Nazi America.

Apparently, the Bush "Administration" is growing increasingly desperate.  No one in the world community will join the U.S. and sponsor an "acceptable" "peace" proposal to end Israeli-Hezbollah hostilities in Lebanon, -- other than the French.  Amusing, isn't it?  The French have been on ole' George's sh-t list, as well as that of the Fascist Right, for quite some time.  Regardless, they're the only country currently willing to send troops to the area.  Interesting, isn't it?

The proposal has been submitted to the UN Security Council for debate and a vote.  Already, Lebanon has rejected it since it allows Israeli terrorists to remain in place in Lebanon, -- until an "international" "peace" force gets into position to provide a buffer between Israel and Lebanon.  The rest of the Arab world has already rejected the proposal, claiming it gives unfair advantage to the Israelis.

Hostilities have been ratcheted up by both Israeli and Hezbollah terrorists.  -- Both seeking tactical advantage before any possible ceasefire goes into effect.  Hezbollah is unwilling to stop rocketing Israel and offering stiff resistance, however, until Israeli terrorists withdraw from Lebanese territory.  ... An impasse, seemingly insurmountable.

Meanwhile, the humanitarian crisis worsens as Israel intentionally continues to target infrastructure and Lebanese civilians.  Be interesting to see if Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is ever brought to justice for Israeli war crimes.  The bastard is clearly rivaling former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon in his insatiable brutality.  The response of Israeli terrorists to the earlier kidnapping of two troops and a rocket attack is an outrageously perverse over reaction to both provocations. 

Frustrated by ferocious Hezbollah resistance and unabated rocket attacks against the Israeli heartland, Israeli terrorists stepped up operations in Lebanon, ostensibly against Hezbollah guerillas, but in reality Lebanese civilians and infrastructure.  A rocket attack by Hezbollah terrorists earlier today resulted in the death of at least twelve Israeli soldiers.

Israeli terrorists were apparently successful in capturing one of the Hezbollah leaders involved in the kidnapping of two of its soldiers, -- which had led to current hostilities.  Apparently, they will torture and abuse this man in an effort to extract information.  ... Then again, we all know Israeli and American forces would never, ever torture or abuse anyone, don't we?
