Israeli Attacks Increase August 4, 2006
Israel has stepped up bombing and ground operations in Lebanon. Civilians continue to be deliberately targeted. All routes in and out have been destroyed. Humanitarian aid cannot get to where it's desperately needed.
Hezbollah terrorists continue to rocket Israel, striking the deepest yet, fifty miles into the Israeli heartland. Clashes between Israeli and Hezbollah fighters are fierce. Most Israeli casualties are military. Most Lebanese killed are civilians. ... Again, who are the "terrorists?"
Israeli terrorists killed 28 Lebanese farmers earlier today. Another 58 civilians were killed in two Lebanese villages. Despite ferocious attacks by the Israelis, Hezbollah terrorists rocketed targets within 25 miles of Tel Aviv. -- Apparently, they intend to make good on their threat to hit the capital of Israel.
To date, over 3000 rockets have been launched by Hezbollah terrorists into the Israeli heartland. Sadly, Israel has been unable to stop the attacks, despite ferocious bombing and ground operations. Clearly, Israeli terrorists and their leadership have grossly underestimated the capabilities and determination of Hezbollah terrorists.
... Sadly, a terrorist is a terrorist, is a terrorist, is a terrorist. No matter which side. No matter the rationale or "justification." The tactics employed define the butchers on both sides. When will we finally learn?
Sickeningly, hundreds of thousands of Iraqis in Baghdad have pointedly expressed support for Hezbollah, demonstrating in the streets. ... Screaming "Death to Israel," and "Death to America." Certainly, warms the cockles of the heart, doesn't it? Then again, we've mindlessly created and nurtured the monster in the Middle East. Sadly, the chickens are finally coming home to roost.
Ironically, the root of the problems there are right here in America. Decades of indifference and blind support for one side are directly responsible. Support of the outrageously corrupt and abusive House of Saud in Saudi Arabia and seemingly permanent garrison of American troops in Moslem countries have inflamed matters.
Failure
of our formerly great
country to become energy independent, directly due to insatiable
corporate
greed, is another contributing factor. Worst of all, our
Aryan arrogance
and determination to force our will on others has guaranteed there will
be no peace and terrorism will sadly grow and flourish.
Casualty
figures of the atrocious
Israeli attack reported earlier
in this edition, as well as the last, have been purportedly downwardly
revised by Lebanese authorities according to one news source.
Apparently,
the number killed is reportedly half, with 13 now supposedly
missing.
With the current fog of battle, it is impossible to know fully and
accurately
the extent of the carnage.

Other than it is horrendous
and growing.
Israel has certainly underestimated the tenacity and ability of Hezbollah terrorists. Not only is she suffering losses on the ground in ferocious hand to hand combat, well over 200 rockets were launched deep into the Israeli heartland today. The highest number and furthest to date. One even hitting the West Bank.
-- Despite a marked expansion of the ground war by Israeli terrorists over the last two days and the renewed bombing campaign. Interesting, isn't it? Apparently, Israel is indeed getting far, far more than it bargained for.
Amazing how irritatingly well a determined enemy can indeed tweak the beak of a far more powerful military, isn't it? Not just in Lebanon, however, but sadly in Afghanistan and Iraq as well.
Tragically, a new day is dawning for over-aggressive superpowers and their clients. Unfortunately, terrorism has become a brutally potent weapon that the less powerful are increasingly willing to employ. With amazing effectiveness.
Whatever happened to the Patriot anti-missile batteries the U.S. supplied Israel? Apparently, these multi-billion dollar weapons systems are useless, -- as they were during the first Gulf War.
Despite phony propaganda at that time released by the Pentagon, they did not score the high number of intercepts falsely alleged. Now, they seem to be utterly useless during this war. Billions and billions are spent developing systems that do not work as advertised.
Yet, the "President" and his henchmen have been remarkably silent at the failure of the Patriot systems to perform, particularly during the current conflict. A true testament to their ineffectiveness. ... What's the matter, George? Cat cut your tongue?
Clueless taxpayers continue to be shamelessly looted by the insatiably greedy defense industry. Yet, criticize the waste, -- and the aggressively stupid public decries the supposed lack of "patriotism."

While the war-profiteering
bastards laugh their financially portly asses off all the way to the
bank.
After giving thanks, of course, on bended knee each Sunday in church

Rebuffed by Lebanese Prime Minister Fuad Siniora after the barbaric attack on a building where nearly sixty civilians, most of them children, were killed by Israeli terrorists, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice returned home for additional "consultations" with the "President."
A 48-hour Israeli bombing ceasefire brokered by Rice to allow "investigation" of the incident and safe passage of humanitarian aid has already been violated by the Israelis. Before Rice left Israel, she was Aryan arrogantly instructed by Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert that Israel indeed needed another ten days to complete its bombing campaign. -- The savage, deliberate murder of innocent civilians and destruction of infrastructure.
This afternoon, the Prime Minister has defiantly claimed Israel will not agree to any permanent ceasefire until Hezbollah is destroyed by Israeli terrorists. Despite ferocious bombing attacks, Hezbollah terrorists continue to launch record numbers of rockets at Israel. Over 150 today alone.
Sadly,
American and Israeli intransigence
has foolishly guaranteed yet another exponential increase in terrorist
recruitment. Should this continue unabated, the State of
Israel will
be ultimately destroyed by her enemies through attrition.
Tragically,
so. Needlessly, so. Stupidly, so. --
Outnumbered by its
Arab enemies nearly 20 to one in population, attrition, indeed, is a
pending
problem that could eventually cost Israel dearly.
The
following is a series of unedited
email correspondence between the American Civil Liberties Union and
this
writer in regard to criminal deletions of Ledger websites over a year
ago.
To date, no response, other than a canned autosponder message has been
received from national ACLU headquarters to the latest complaint
filed.
Apparently, ACLU no longer has any interest in First Amendment issues,
