Chairman Of Joint Chiefs Of Staff Lies March 5 , 2006
See the pathetic performance of Gen. Peter Pace, Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff on FOX and Meet The Press, Sunday morning? The General, a decorated Marine, shamelessly lied to Tim Russert. He falsely claimed the war in Iraq was going "very, very well." How so, General?
The killing continues unabated. The insurgency has raged for nearly three years, now, and is getting worse. Some 80% of the Iraqi population want American occupiers out of their country. Reportedly, 45% think it's okay to kill Americans. Only 30% of Iraqis are properly getting water. Electricity is spotty. Oil production is constantly interrupted by insurgents and has not paid for the war as predicted by the Bush "Administration." No weapons of mass destruction. We were not greeted as "liberators." Some 70% of our troops want us out by the end of the year. The list can go on, General.
As a good Marine, sir, how can you callously put the political ass of your corrupt and abusive "Commander In Chief" ahead of the best interests of military personnel and the American people? How can you honorably participate in the phony charade imposed by Mr. Bush and his equally fascist henchmen? Despite knowing better, you disingenuously claim Iraq is not on the verge of civil war and the insurgency does not have deep roots. Wake up, General.
How are things going well in Afghanistan when 90% of the world's supply of opium continues to be supplied by war lords? When bin Laden and his henchmen are no closer to capture than they were three years ago? Why haven't you reined in the propaganda machine and insisted Iraq commander U.S. Gen. George Casey stop paying Iraqi rags to plant articles surreptitiously written by American personnel? Respectfully, sir, does honor no longer have any meaning?
Sadly,
the "President's" "war
on terror" will go on indefinitely, -- and be ultimately
lost. Why?
Mr. Bush is unwilling to change policies that directly
led to the
rise of modern terrorism. Policies, such as a decades-old
unevenhanded
approach to the Middle East, i.e. extreme favoritism of Israel vs.
Palestine.
Support of the exceptionally corrupt and abusive House of
Saud. American
troops garrisoned in Moslem territory. Long-term import of
Arab crude
oil and failure to achieve energy independence fifty years
ago. All
factors in the rise of modern terrorism. Critical issues that
have
been neglected by the Bush "Administration," -- and earlier ones for at
least the last sixty years. Due to insatiable corporate greed
and
myopic self-serving abuse of power by generations of U.S. officials.
The U.S. military has already investigated the death of Army Ranger Corp. Pat Tillman, former NFL football player, at least three times previously. This time, however, it will be a criminal investigation.
The late Corporal's family never believed military reports of the circumstances of his death. Felt they were being manipulated by the military and fed a bill of goods. Sadly, they were.
Initially, the Army falsely claimed Tillman died heroically fighting the enemy in Afghanistan. Later, it claimed the Corporal was killed by friendly fire. Now, questions of criminal negligence have arisen and there will be a criminal investigation.
Clearly at the time of his death, the Army was frantic it would lose the best poster boy for enlistment in recent history. Readers are reminded Mr. Tillman forfeited a $3.6 million contract with the NFL to heroically join the Army after the 9/11 catastrophe. The Army, however, apparently used Tillman and manipulated disclosure of the true circumstances of his death.
The Army is also good at feeding troops propaganda. Reportedly, 90% of them falsely believe they are in Iraq to avenge Iraq's non-existent, supposed involvement in 9/11. Even our Nazi "President" has been repeatedly forced to publicly admit Saddam was not involved in the catastrophe. Apparently, the message has not yet reached our soldiers. Why?
Our
troops are second to none,
however. Their dedication to duty is unparalleled.
Their leadership,
however, does not seem capable of rising to the same high level of
performance,
duty, honor, and honesty. Why? How much longer will
the brass
embrace aggressive stupidity and foolishly continue to shoot itself
collectively
in the ass? Over and over and over again.
Not to be outdone by the Indians, Pakistanis were equally displeased with the visit of "President" Bush to their country. ... Tough, isn't it? Unlike most Americans, however, much of the world sees Mr. Bush exactly for what he is. -- An ignorant, violent, vicious fascist who believes he's divinely-inspired and fanatically determined to force his perverse ideology and "religious" views on others. Gutlessly, using military force to do so as necessary.
Similarly and quite amusingly, British Prime Minister Tony Blair apparently also believes British involvement in the war was divinely inspired. By his own rationale since he is "religious" and a "believer," Mr. Blair apparently believes the war is sanctioned by God. Pathetic, isn't it? Indeed, these two outrageously fascist bastards haughtily think they speak for the Creator.
U.S. military operations in Iraq and even now in Afghanistan have absolutely nothing to do with defense of liberty and American "national security." Rather, the "President" is dangerously consolidating power here at home, eviscerating whatever little is left of civil and constitutional rights and liberties, and militarily attempting to impose his will on Afghanistan and Iraq. Next stop? Syria? Iran? North Korea?
Mr. Bush is dangerous. Wherever he goes literally and/or figuratively abroad policy-wise, he leaves a trail of mayhem and misery. -- As bad as Saddam truly was, what's going on in Iraq today is exponentially worse.
Sadly, well over two thousand American personnel have been killed and thousands maimed for nothing more than politically covering the "President's" sad, corrupt and abusive ass. At the expense not only of U.S. military personnel, but thirty to seventy thousand Iraqis needlessly killed and countless others maimed. ... How do you sleep nights, George?
The "President" is a national embarrassment and disgrace. He is so despised in Pakistan, Air Force One was forced to quickly fly in, under the cover of night with running lights out and cabin shades drawn.
While Mrs. Bush, the "President," and his henchmen may be unconcerned with safety and loss of their lives, why did they put the air crew at unnecessary risk? For crass political purposes at best.
Worse,
the visit will ultimately
backfire and foolishly increase support of al Qaeda
and hatred for
our formerly great country. For what?
Rob
a convenience store here in
Texas at gunpoint, you could get 99 years. Rightfully, so.
...
Even if the take is twenty
bucks.
Accept millions in bribes if you're a congressman, however, and you get eight years, four months in prison. -- As happened earlier today to former California Cong. Randy "Duke" Cunningham. Cunningham, a decorated Vietnam era fighter pilot, took over $2 million in bribes from defense contractors.
These
bribes translate to countless
billions the taxpayers were needlessly bilked for special treatment
contracts
that lined the pockets of the defense industry. Yet, this
outrageously
corrupt and abusive bastard was sentenced to less than 9 years in
prison.
... As American as Mom and apple pie, no?
In
an 89-10 vote, gutless fascists
in the U.S. Senate voted to renew the USA "Patriot" Act.
Should the
House agree as expected, most provisions of this outrageously
unconstitutional
law will become permanent. The most
egregious will be extended
four years, including federal goon access to financial, medical, and
library
records. Disclosing the fact these records were accessed will
remain
a crime. In Nazi America.
For months, the "President" claimed no one could have known the New Orleans levees would fail. Mr. Bush lied. Again. The video teleconference just released is proof positive. Moreover, the public was informed by the media several days of this possibility prior to the catastrophe. Yet, the "President" did nothing. Remained on vacation two days after the hurricane struck. Think New York, Miami, Houston, etc. would have been similarly ignored?
Yet, the Fascist Right continues to make excuses for the "President." Now, they amusingly claim Mr. Bush was informed by the Weather Service the levees could be "topped," not breached. So what? Levee failure is levee failure. Whether the levees were topped or breached. And breached they were.
The Nazi Right is conveniently and hypocritically making excuses for a failed "President." Callously, engaging in sophistry and abuse of semantics to excuse an incompetent "Chief Executive." The hypocrisy is stunning and truly hilarious in view of their howling when former President Clinton danced around the definition of the word "is." Remember?
-- When ole' Bill lied like hell about oral sex with a most willing intern. ... A question he should never have been asked and certainly stupidly answered. -- Rather than telling the press it was none of their damned business. ... Or wisely not having engaged in the behavior in the first place, so none of it would have been an issue.
Amusingly,
what we have here,
however, is a double standard. One for Democratic presidents,
another
for Republicans. In Nazi America.
That's right. Mr. Bush's approval rating has dropped to an all time low of 34%. Yet, the "President" is overseas on a junket designed to pat the backs of his puppet in Afghanistan and his allies in India and Pakistan. Protests, however, broke out in the former where ole' George "The Tush" was not particularly well-received by reportedly more than 100,000 Indians.
Adding insult to injury, Mr. Bush promised the Indians access to nuclear materials for their energy programs. ... While ignoring their ongoing development of nuclear weapons. The hypocrisy is stunning. Why is it okay for India, but not Pakistan? Why is it acceptable in Israel, but not Palestine? Why do we get to pick and choose who has them, and who does not?
In direct contradiction to domestic majority opinion, the "President" also justified job "outsourcing" to India and elsewhere. No question, outsourcing immediately benefits corporations and shareholders in the short run. In the long-term, however, outsourcing ensures the United States will become a Third World nation several generations in the future.
Thirty years ago, the United States foolishly began outsourcing high-paying blue collar jobs overseas. This directly led to the Rust Belt in the heart of our formerly great country. Now, corporations and their shills in the Republican Party are outsourcing white collar and engineering jobs.
The "President" agrees and approves. Falsely, claims it leads to better job creation here, domestically. It does not. There is no proof. Quite the contrary. While there may be some opportunities created, the vast majority of those laid-off do not find comparable employment.
Most
find themselves "dumbed down"
to service level jobs with little to no benefits. Earning a
fraction
of their former compensation packages. Sadly, outsourcing
jobs only
benefits globalist corporations whose top management and shareholders
have
no loyalty to the United States.
...
Clearly, whose only loyalty
and chief objective are indeed lining their infinitely deep
pockets.
Disgracefully, most of these executives are Americans. -- In
name
only, however, certainly not in reality.
After several generations, the only jobs available domestically will be "service" occupations with low pay and no benefits. Worse, we will have lost the engineering and manufacturing skills that made our formerly great country great. Already, the domestic pool of engineering applicants to our schools has been steadily declining. This trend will only continue as outsourcing progresses.
Of equal concern, occupational outsourcing in combination with unlimited import of "cheap" foreign goods and expensive foreign oil has dangerously and exponentially increased the trade deficit. -- Again, this will also result in our country eventually becoming a Third World nation in several generations if left unchecked. ... As more and more American assets are turned over to foreign ownership.
The only reason most foreign goods are as "cheap" as they are is the fact foreign workers work for a fraction of what U.S. labor earns. -- Or at least used to earn. Even professional level employees. Chinese engineers work weekends and twelve-hour days. Yet, are paid one-sixth of what their counterparts are paid here.
What good are coming imports of "cheap" Chinese cars if no one here can afford to buy them? What good are current "cheap" Wal-Mart imports if no one can afford them in several generations? What good are an unlimited flood of foreign imports when we no longer "remember" how to design and manufacture, and are at the mercy of other countries for our basic necessities? Think that won't be used against us by our enemies?
Foreign imports and outsourcing must be carefully controlled, not eliminated. Should Corporate America continue to be given carte blanche, however, this formerly great country will be relegated to the dust heap of history. ... While globalist corporate management, insatiably greedy shareholders, and the rich will have it all. Indeed, by clever design that took years to come to fruition.
Example? Decades ago, a professor had an engineering friend who was employed at one of the razor blade manufacturers. His job was to design a blade that lasted no more than three shaves. Up to about 50 years ago, however, industry strove to produce highest quality products at the lowest possible price.
Then, it got greedy. -- It quickly and myopically decided, in the short-term, enormous profits could be made by carefully, cunningly designing in "planned obsolescence." More demand for product, more sales. More sales, more profit. The proverbial "quick buck." Virtually unchecked greed until Americans grew tired and bought foreign. ... Products far better designed and manufactured.
Particularly, cars and trucks. The Japanese ruled, -- still do, despite enormous improvements in American vehicles. Yet, both foreign and domestic manufacturers were forced to produce vehicles so sophisticated and complex that few owners could work on them any longer.
Sophistication, primarily due to pollution and fuel economy standards imposed by government and their friends in the environmental movement. Greed run amuck, and government indifference to pollution produced by industry. -- Responsibility, unfairly and falsely dumped on vehicle owners, rather than on industry directly responsible. Such as coal-fired power plants both here and abroad. As well, as the failure of alternative energy to get off the ground due to industry and governmental indifference. ... So much for government bureaucracy and its ability to get things done.
Had engineering been allowed to progress to the ultimate, products eventually would have had extended lifetimes. -- Can't have that. After all, short-term profits would have suffered. Engineering and manufacturing personnel would have been forced to move on to other projects, -- like medical research, housing production and improvement, alternative energy research, etc.. The list can go on and on.
In the short-term, indeed there would have been pain and inconvenience. In the long-term, however, it would have meant a far, far better world and lifestyle for many more people, both domestically and overseas. Instead, greedy corporations chose immediate gratification, backed by myopic government officials and politicians who lined their pockets and cleverly went along.
Uncontrolled capitalism, basically free to do as it pleased, whatever the long-term cost. ... With a few "inconveniences" along the way, such as taxes it short-sightedly passed on to consumers. As well as mindless, ineffective, costly regulations that contributed to industry's proclivity to think only in the short-term, ignoring what was in everyone's best interests in the long run.
As
a result, the United States
is on its way to becoming a Third World nation within a few
generations.
... While Democrats, Republicans, and the fascist currently in the
White
House figuratively fiddle while Rome burns.
In
an attempt to aid and abet
abortion protesters, the United States Supreme Court on Feb. 28, 8-0,
ruled
RICO anti-racketeering statutes may not be used against violent
protests
of abortion facilities. Despite the fact this law has been
effectively
used against other groups. Once again, eight of the fascists
sitting
on the court "legislated" their perverse ideology and "religious" views
from the bench. In Nazi America.
Embroiled in a firestorm of protest, the Bush "Administration" accepted United Arab Emirates corporation DP World's offer of a 45-day "review" of the "Administration's" plans to employ the Arab-based company to run six American ports. Mr. Bush and his henchmen hope to use this time to garner congressional support, not conduct an intensive investigation.
After all, they've already made up their minds, and will not be confused with any evidence to the contrary. Interesting, isn't it? The "President" is determined to cater to the whims of his oil-rich buddies in the sheikdom no matter the cost. Even if it is a threat to national security.
Two of the 9/11 hijackers were born in the United Arab Emirates. Money for the attacks was laundered there. In addition, the United Arab Emirates facilitated the transfer of nuclear material to Libya and North Korea. Yet, the sheiks of the Emirates remain the "President's" best buddies. Interesting, isn't it?
Most
disturbing of all, Mr. Bush
was not aware of the controversial outsourcing port plan until he heard
about it in the press. -- Who the hell is running the
country?
"Slick Dick" Cheney?
