Working
definition of fascism
for new readers? An abusive and dangerous oligarchy based on a
pernicious
blend of government, big business, and religion. ... A boot-heel
cynically
placed on the throat of the masses, justified in principle by
perversion
and bastardization of religion.

Feingold Caves On "Patriot" Act February 15, 2006
Last
Senate holdout Sen. Russ
Feingold finally capitulated and cowardly ended his struggle to block
renewal
of the USA "Patriot" Act. Feingold had been leading an effort
to
slow down action on the renewal by using parliamentary procedures and
Senate
rules. Once Republican fascists threatened to keep the Senate
in
session overnight, Feingold relented. Every damned one of
these Republican
and Democratic fascist bastards responsible should not be returned to
office.
Breaking his silence after enormous political pressure, "Vice President" "Slick Dick" Cheney sat down for an interview with FOX's Brit Hume. Subject? The Whittington shooting on Saturday. Mr. Cheney refused to hold a press conference, gutlessly choosing instead to talk to a Right Wing "conservative" on a network that is clearly in the pocket of the "Administration." ... "Fair & Balanced," that is, Right Wing and hopelessly fascist.
Questions remain unanswered. Cheney continues to stonewall the failure to disclose the incident nearly a day. His sophomoric attempt to blame the resulting controversy on the national supposedly "liberal" media rang hollow and was truly pitiful. Unbecoming a high political figure.
-- While ole' "Slick Dick" might have been reluctant to disclose the shooting to The New York Times, he certainly could have released information to The Washington Times. ... A fascist rag, also in the pocket of the Bush "Administration." He chose instead to have the ranch owner disclose it to a local Corpus Christi newspaper. Why?
Cheney's
penchant for secrecy
has been no secret for many, many years. Going back at least
to the
days some thirty years ago when he counseled President Ford to veto The
Freedom of Information Act. ... What fascist doesn't crave
secrecy
and the cover it provides the corrupt and abusive?
"Accidentally" shot by "Vice President" "Slick Dick" Cheney on Saturday afternoon during a hunting trip in South Texas, Austin attorney Harry Whittington suffered a heart attack when a shot-gun pellet moved from his chest into his heart. He was moved back into the intensive care unit.
"Slick Dick" Cheney continues to refuse to make any public appearances to explain what happened. In addition, Scott McClellan, "Presidential" Press Secretary, has not been forthcoming and under constant barrage by the press corps.
Outrageously,
ole' Scott conveniently
neglected to inform reporters Whittington had indeed suffered a heart
attack,
having been made aware of the fact before the daily press briefing.
...
Nothing quite like transparent
government, is there?
Ole' George "The Tush" Bush indeed loves democracy, -- as long as he gets the results he wants. Palestinian voters, in an extremely clean non-violent election recently voted Hamas into power in the Palestinian Parliament. Sadly, Hamas is a terrorist organization that has been fought for years by the Israelis and has been condemned by the U.S. for its use of terror.
Now in power, Israel and the United States government are working to undermine it by considering ways to remove all funding from the Palestinians, -- in an effort to get them to return to the former corrupt government, which at least was non-terrorist. ... What webs we weave, no?
The
Palestinians chose Hamas in
a free election. Israel and the United States do not accept
the results.
Democracy is apparently only good when it works to the benefit of
Israeli
and American policy. If not, the government must be
overthrown, no
matter the tactics. War, if necessary, as in
Iraq. Financial
undermining, as in Palestine, if not. The ends clearly
justify the
means to the fascist currently occupying the Oval Office, as well as
the
Israelis. Nothing quite like hypocrisy, is there?
What better way to leave the stress and strains of Washington behind, as well as the political scandals and controversies, than to take a junket to South Texas and the Armstrong Ranch to do a little quail hunting with the rich and famous? -- A well-deserved Shangri-La of rest and relaxation "Vice President" "Slick Dick" Cheney must certainly have looked forward to late last week.
Not to be, however. Seems Mr. Cheney inadvertently pumped .28 gage bird shot into the face, neck, and chest of prominent Austin attorney Harry Whittington, 78. ... Tough, isn't it? Especially, when the news is kept from the media for nearly 24 hours. Even the "President" wasn't informed for several hours after the "accident."
-- Whatever the hell happened to transparency and, more importantly, hunter safety? Both men are elderly well-experienced hunters who know better. Hunting instructors claim a bird hunter must always put skyline between the quarry and the ground. -- To prevent killing hunting dogs and people. Regardless, the shooter is always responsible for an accidental shooting. Never the victim. The hunter has to be aware of his target and what's around it.
Reports
at the time of this writing
are sketchy and contradictory. Seems Secret Service agents
initially
denied the local sheriff's department access to the "Vice President"
after
the "accident."
...
According to an earlier report
from the Kenedy County Sheriff's Department. Reportedly, the
"President"
apparently agrees what the Secret Service did to shield the "VP" from
police
was indeed proper.
Have Cheney and Bush forgotten we have no king or emperor? That no one is above the law? Not even the "Chief Executive" and his sidekick? Contradicting early media accounts and claims of the Sheriff's Department, however, the Secret Service now claims an interview with a sheriff's deputy was indeed arranged Sunday morning. -- The day after the "accident."
Think any sheriff's department would similarly afford any of you the same treatment? The Kenedy County Sheriff's Department again now confirms there was indeed a meeting with the "Vice President", -- the next morning. ... Apparently, all parties involved, including the Secret Service and local police, had to get their stories straight.
Mr. Whittington is reportedly in stable condition, was in the intensive care unit at the hospital, and has now been moved to a private room. ... A good Republican, he promises to give no public interviews to spare the "Vice President" any embarrassment. -- Thoughtful, isn't he? Both he and ole' "Slick Dick" will receive non-punitive "citations" for their failure to have the proper "bird stamp" for their quarry.
...
More to come as details become
available.
