This publication has been in suspension since March 2003 for reasons fully explained on the Home Page.  Much has happened in the United States, as well as the rest of the world, since the last edition.  ... Sadly, most of it disturbing.  Until return to online publication, the format will remain as follows.    T.C. November 28, 2005

Publisher's Note: This publication receives no financial support through advertising.  Although shaken down, looted, and abused by corrupt government, area businesses remain unwilling to stand up.  Locals are too gutless to donate financially, cowardly fearing retribution.  For this publication to survive, national readers need to contribute.  Liberty In Peril is, has been, and will always remain beholden to NO ONE. -- Precisely why there is no financial assistance.  ... From day of launch and certainly a no-brainer to this very day, firmly resolved to walk away first rather than compromise principle. -- To the chagrin of many and delight of few.    T.C. (11-28-05).

Jose Padilla Indicted November 22, 2005

Held as an "enemy combatant" for three and a half years in a Navy brig, alleged "dirty bomber" Jose Padilla was turned over to the "Justice" Department and indicted on a variety of terrorism charges.  None of which were domestic, and none included constructing or deploying a "dirty bomb."  Interesting, isn't it?

Padilla is an American citizen who was held for years without access to the courts and denied proper legal representation.  When his case was finally about to be heard by the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, at the direction of the fascist occupying the Oval Office, reversed direction for convenient self-serving political reasons.

Why?  It was highly likely the Supreme Court would have severely limited the "President's" power to hold American citizens, captured in the United States as in the case of Padilla or overseas in the cases of others, indefinitely as "enemy combatants."  Now, Gonzales wants the Supreme Court to throw out the case since it has been supposedly "mooted" by the indictments.  Convenient, isn't it?

Should the Supreme Court do so, it would be proof positive it is hopelessly in the pocket of the Nazi in the White House.  If the case receives no ruling, our Nazi "Commander In Chief" would be free to re-classify Padilla once again as an "enemy combatant" any time he chooses.  It would also leave the "President" free to do the same to other American citizens.  In Nazi America.  Where the rule of men, not law, currently reigns supreme.

Readers are reminded Padilla was claimed to be public enemy number one by former Attorney General John Ashcroft and other members of the Bush "Administration."  Clearly, he was not.  Not one domestic terrorism charge was directed at Padilla in the indictment.  No dirty bomb.  No dirty bomb making.  No dirty bomb deployment.  No charges regarding supposed threats against buildings in the United States, specifically in New York, as falsely claimed earlier by the Bush "Administration."

Padilla is supposedly charged with overseas activities including terrorist training.  -- A far cry from all allegations falsely made by the Bush "Administration" over the last three and a half years.  Nazis in the Bush "Administration" claim they do not want to produce other "enemy combatants" in court on his behalf, or that of the government to secure conviction.
... "Witnesses" that would be absolutely necessary and crucial for prosecution and conviction should Padilla be charged with domestic terrorism.

The claim rings hollow, however, and is no more than another outrageous lie by the Bush "Administration."  -- An "Administration" that clearly has no regard, no belief in the Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, and Eighth Amendments.  ... In fact, has done all it could to eviscerate civil and constitutional rights and liberties in our formerly great country.

The fact, alone, the Padilla case took three and a half years to reach the highest court of the land is a serious, damning indictment of the entire American judicial system.  -- This man had been allowed to conveniently rot for nearly four years in jail without being charged.  In Nazi America.  Where day is night, night is day, and manure smells perversely sweet.

Ahmed Abu Ali Convicted In Kangaroo Court November 22, 2005

Ahmed Abu Ali, a young American man in his early twenties, was convicted of terrorism charges  in a kangaroo American court, including plotting the supposed assassination of the "President".  -- Based on "evidence" elicited from him while tortured in a Saudi Arabian prison.

Hopelessly gutless American citizens, sitting on the kangaroo jury, clearly bought the "Justice" Department's distortion of reality and convoluted "massage" of the truth for self-serving political reasons.  -- Cleverly designed to increase and consolidate power enjoyed by the fascist who calls himself "President."

If this could happen to Abu Ali, it can happen to anyone.  In Nazi America.  Where day is night, night is day, and manure smells perversely sweet.

ACLU-Criminal Website Deletions

The following is a series of unedited email correspondence between the American Civil Liberties Union and this writer in regard to criminal deletions of Ledger websites over a year ago.  To date, no response, other than a canned autosponder message has been received from national ACLU headquarters to the latest complaint filed.  Apparently, ACLU no longer has any interest in First Amendment issues, -- or is wildly incompetent.  You decide.  ACLU-Criminal Website Deletions
