Proof positive there is no substantive difference between both major political parties, the House kowtowed to the fascist occupying the White House and recently passed Homeland Security Department legislation, 299-121.   Although the country is deeply divided, Democrats caved to narrow self-interests, passing a bill designed to consolidate and concentrate power in the "Chief Executive."  … An effort by our appointed "President" to usurp power, commandeer the Constitution, and implement a fascist police-state.

Creation of the proposed Homeland Security Department will do precisely that, and more.  Falsely, in the name of "national security."  Republican Rep. Rob Portman of Ohio disingenuously declared:  "Times have changed, and it’s imperative to the security of our country and the security of our families that our government change as well."  Mr. Portman is a liar.  The bill has nothing to do with "security."  Absolutely, nothing.

-- No more than a convenient vehicle and ruse to further eviscerate constitutional rights and liberties.  Fascists in both parties deliberately withheld provisions enabling an investigation and determination of governmental culpability in the 9/11 catastrophe.   That is, officials would not be held accountable for the colossal intelligence failure.  Immediately,  rightfully angered and outraged survivors' families.

Then again, the Nazi occupying the White House and his stooges in Congress believe "personal responsibility" is reserved for the unwashed masses.  Not those in power.  Reaction from families and others was so strong and swift, legislators and the fascist appointed "President" quickly reconsidered additional legislation establishing an independent investigation.  Interesting, isn't it?

Not only is the "President" desperately frightened he will be exposed for having slept on the job regarding intelligence failures, there is also the unpublicized issue of "Administration" foot-dragging on expenditure of funds desperately needed to improve security.  Two percent of ship cargo is inspected.  That's right. Two percent.  Mr. Bush doesn't want to spend the money.  Instead, he and his henchmen champion harassment of innocent travelers at our airports.  No more than "symbolism" over substance, -- to borrow a phrase coined by Nazi broadcaster Rush Limbaugh.

Conservative New York Times columnist William Safire November 14 rightfully declared the Homeland Security Bill will allow government goons to gather personal data on "every purchase you make with a credit card, every magazine subscription you buy and medical prescription you fill, every Web site you visit and e-mail you send or receive, every bank deposit you make, every trip you book and every event you attend."  No question.  Yet, the aggressively stupid public continues to sleep.

Should another 9/11 level catastrophe occur, or worse, the "Chief Executive" knows full well there will be a groundswell of criticism.  Since the money is not being properly spent, a question immediately arises regarding the "President's" intentions.  Is it truly "national security", or implementation of a fascist police-state, cleverly designed to consolidate power and eviscerate civil and constitutional rights?

Creation of the proposed Homeland Security Department will implement an additional exceptionally useful goal long held dear by GOP fascists, -- evisceration of union activity as well as labor gains and advances made by people at the bottom of the food chain at tremendous personal cost over the last century.  As Rep. Corrine Brown, D-Fla. rightfully asserted, the bill is "just another example of the Bush administration’s union-busting policies."  Indeed.  How else can Republicans line their pockets, properly give thanks to the Creator every Sunday on bended knee for their looted good fortune, while laughing their portly asses off all the way to the bank?

Ignoring principle in favor of narrow political self-interest, Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle, D-S.D. declared he may vote for the bill, despite and in spite of his personal objections.  Interesting, isn't it?  Time to retire Mr. Daschle and his cronies.  Why vote for Democrats who will do no more than support the Nazi occupying the White House and his GOP compadres?

Not surprisingly, Republicans loaded the bill with protections for manufacturers of the smallpox vaccine and airport screening equipment.  Airport security firms will also be protected from liability.  Interesting, isn't it? Rep. Tom DeLay, R-Texas added additional pork for Texas A&M University.  Seems the school will be eligible for federal funds to conduct "national security" "research."  Fascinating, isn't it?  Readers are reminded Mr. DeLay is one of the most outspoken fascists in the House.  A bona fide Nazi, who will be elevated to House Majority Leader.

All coming from a "President" and GOP that two years ago hypocritically promised to reduce federal power and control.  Mr. Bush and his cronies lied prior to the 2000 "election."  Conveniently and gutlessly, then used the 9/11 catastrophe as justification to usurp power and eviscerate constitutional rights and liberties.  Sieg Heil, Mein Fuhrer.  America Uber Alles.

Again, further evidence there is no substantive difference between both major political parties, the House recently voted to provide up to $100 billion, that's billion with a b, in corporate welfare for insurance companies should they be hit with claims for another catastrophic terrorist attack.  Passage in the Senate appears assured, and the fascist occupying the White House will sign the bill.  Interesting, isn't it?  This, coming from Nazis in both parties and the White House who condemn socialism.  In the exponentially increasing fantasy world of the United States, liberty and rights are secure and manure smells sweet.  No question.

The apparent surfacing of bin Laden recently via a tape calls into question the status of the "war against terrorism."  After more than a year of military pounding, U.S. forces have been unsuccessful in capturing or killing the bastard.  The upper al Qaeda leadership structure apparently remains intact.  Surprisingly, Democrats are beginning to find their cowardly voice.

South Dakota Democratic Senator Tom Daschle declared:  "I'm troubled that we haven't found bin Laden in all this time.  Frankly, I think that it really caused many of us to be concerned about whether or not we are winning the war on terror.''  Indeed.  What took so long?  … Where the hell you been, Senator?  Out to lunch?

Senator Bob Graham recently musing on bin Laden and al Qaeda and the "President's" glaring lack of focus on the "war on terror" remarked:  "They are so focused on Iraq that they aren't paying adequate attention to the war on terror… If he is still alive and still in charge, that means Al Qaeda continues to have a highly capable and venomous leader."  No kidding, Senator.  Where are the rest of your Democratic cronies?

UN Secretary General Kofi Annan is rightfully trying to slow down the Nazi occupying the White House from launching a "preemptive" attack against Iraq.  Despite the UN resolution.  Thinks the American "President" is indeed too ready to initiate hostilities.  No kidding, sir.  How else can Ole' George "The Tush" maintain his stranglehold on power and ensure a GOP win in the presidential sweepstakes two years from now?  Especially, a man glaringly devoid of substance and character?

Precisely as well, why the "Administration", through the FBI and CIA, continues to post terror warnings, -- happily to date based on no substance.   The latest a "spectacular threat."  Despite no solid "intelligence" or evidence.  Interesting, isn't it? … The problem with falsely crying wolf, sadly, is inevitability of the aggressively stupid public foolishly ignoring a genuine warning in the future.

Then again, Nazis entrenched in government could care less.  It's the power, stupid.  Also, claim to have recently captured another senior al Qaeda leader.  Won't disclose his identity, however.  … Desperately striving for absolute secrecy and to operate with impunity and above all, no judicial review.  Have to seriously wonder if they're lying, no?  Almost forgot.  Manure, indeed, smells sweet.

See the video of the "President" at The Wall on Veterans Day?  … Despite the fact he remains intent on repeating the mistake in Iraq?  As Vietnam, this apparently pending war is based on pretense.  No Gulf of Tonkin incident occurred in 1964.  President Johnson used the non-event to justify bombing of North Vietnam and Americanization of the war.

Our best and brightest, 58,229 in all, died.  Not, for liberty.  Not, in "defense" of their country.  For one reason and one reason only.  Corporate America.  War does wonders for defense contractors.  Boeing, McDonnell Douglas, Dow Chemical, and many, many other corporations made out like bandits.

This is not, however, to impugn the honor and integrity of our dead and wounded.  They fought, bled, and died truly believing they were doing so for liberty and principle.  Sadly, they were outrageously betrayed by their government and Corporate America.

History is about to repeat itself.  Only worse, this time.  The Nazi, appointed to the Oval Office, has had months to beat war drums.  For a phony "preemptive" attack.  An unprovoked attack, the aggressively stupid public has had months to consider.  Unlike Vietnam, however, where the public was successfully deceived just hours before bombing commenced.

Despite having had quite some time to do so, Mr. Bush has offered no proof of impending Iraqi threat to the United States.  None.  Has successfully and cleverly manipulated Congress and the UN to give rubberstamp approval.  Should the proposed war be a cakewalk as the "Administration" and others believe, the fact remains this is an unprovoked preemptive attack the "President" has failed to justify.  … Ultimate success in no way justifies outcome, -- only describes it.  "Victory" under such conditions would ring hollow, and be truly indicative the United States is no more than a world class bully.

In an East Room ceremony in front of veterans, the "Chief Executive" disingenuously and pompously declared: "Especially in this time of war, we see in our veterans an example of courage and selfless sacrifice and service that inspires a new generation and will lead this country to victory…We think first of those who fell and never lived to be called veterans. We remember those whose fate is still undetermined."

… Is that right, George?  -- As you remain committed to adding to the list for no legitimate reason?  Other than avenge Daddy's dismal failure twelve years ago to resolve the issue, ensure your election two years from now, enrich your cronies in the defense and energy industries, and most importantly, get your cookies off immorally exercising the power of life and death?

At Arlington National Cemetery later in the day and regarding the war on terror, Mr. Bush asserted:  "That mission will go on until the terrorists who struck America are fully and finally defeated."  … Hey, George?  That will never happen.  Won't, for one reason and one reason only.  You and your fascist cohorts have absolutely no intention of addressing and correcting the root cause of terrorism in the Middle East:  ... American lopsided support of Israel no matter what Israelis do.  No matter, how barbaric.  No matter, how criminal.

American treasure and weapons continue to be used by Israeli thugs to kill innocent Palestinian civilians.  Torture continues unabated.  So does outrageous bulldozing of Palestinian homes.  Israeli aggressors continue to occupy Palestinian land 37 years after the fact. Until these issues are successfully resolved, you will not win the war on terror.  It will continue indefinitely.  Precisely, what you seek.  How else can a man of no substance and character retain and remain in power?

At Arlington, the "Chief Executive" declared:  "We will not permit a dictator who has used weapons of mass destruction to threaten America with chemical, biological or nuclear weapons.  This great nation will not live at the mercy of any foreign plot or power.''  Sounds remarkably like Adolph Hitler's ludicrous justification of the invasion of Poland, starting World War II.  Pure distortion and bastardization of reality.  For perverse self-serving interests and personal gain.

The "President" has offered no evidence of any pending immediate Iraqi threat.  Absolutely, none.  Yet, the aggressively stupid American public has bought the "President's" propaganda.  Other than use of weapons of mass destruction against invading American troops and the state of Israel in reaction to an unprovoked "preemptive" attack by the United States, it remains highly unlikely Saddam would have used such weapons against anyone other than his own people in the immediate future.  While indeed enormously evil, the Iraqi dictator is not stupid.  Knows full well, it would lead to prompt nuclear incineration of his country by Israel and/or the United States.

Should Saddam use such weapons during an American invasion, however, the corrupt and abusive "President" of the United States will severely distort reality and perversely assert:  "See, I told you so."  Raw Nazism.  Raw abuse of power.  Raw self-serving distortion of the truth.  Sadly, currently the American way.

-- Severe distortion of reality, as is Mr. Bush's ludicrous assertion: "This great nation will not live at the mercy of any foreign plot or power.''  Sadly, the "President" has it ass backwards.  It is the United States that is directly responsible for terroristic activity and the root cause of the problem.  For years of unquestioned support of a corrupt and abusive Israeli state.

Yet, our Nazi "President" and the aggressively stupid American people have no clue.  … Condemning this once great country to years of misery as terrorists continue to strike.  Even if they don't hit the homeland again, they've magnificently accomplished their purposes beyond their wildest dreams.  After all, gut-wrenching fear and exceptional cowardice have resulted in the evisceration of the Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, and Eighth Amendments.  Liberty as we once knew it, is no more.

The "President" haughtily declared in the East Room: "No enemy that threatens our security or endangers our people will escape the patient justice and the overwhelming power of the United States of America.  Should military action become necessary for our own security, I will commit the full force and might of the United States military, and we will prevail.''

Is that right, George?  Couldn't do so in Vietnam.  Couldn't have done so even if the United States had used overwhelming force decades ago.  The indigenous people were not supportive and had little to no regard for our system of government.  Should you obliterate Iraq and its murderous dictator, foolishly think the "war" won't go on?  Terrorism is deeply entrenched all over the world, -- thanks to decades of mindless American support of an abusive and criminal Israeli bureaucracy.

At the White House, the "President" went on to declare: "We have no territorial ambitions. We don't seek an empire. Our nation is committed to freedom, for ourselves and for others. We and our allies have fought evil regimes and left in place self-governing and prosperous nations."

That was then.  This is now.  The "President" is a liar.  Has again severely distorted reality.  Done so, disingenuously.  Indeed, the United States has no interest in the desert sands of Iraq.  … Only in the oil beneath them.  Should the Nazi occupying the White House murderously invade, there is no question it would be an unprecedented coup for Mr. Bush's cronies in Big Oil.  -- With an Iraqi puppet government beholden to the "President" and energy corporations, expect American oil profits to soar.  … Right, George?

Mr. Bush has shamelessly lied regarding his supposed "commitment" to freedom.  Has done directly the opposite with enactment of the outrageously unconstitutional "Patriot" Act.  A statute that has cleverly obliterated the Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, and Eighth Amendments.  Falsely, in the name of "national security."  Also, equally unconstitutional Executive Orders.  Yet, the profoundly aggressively stupid American people peacefully and cowardly sleep on.  Oblivious and indifferent to the glaring attack on liberty and constitutional rights.  … And what's to come.

While the Nazi occupying the White House plans to expend the blood of your sons and daughters to secure the future of Corporate America, avenge the humiliating failure of his father twelve years ago, -- getting his cookies off in the process, the public remains indifferent to the "President's" dodging of the draft during the Vietnam War.  Mr. Bush cowardly joined the Texas Air National Guard to avoid service in Vietnam.  Yet, now shamelessly insists on sacrificing your children for perverse narrow self-interest and personal gain.

Interestingly, Under Secretary of State John Bolton finally disclosed why the United States is so strongly opposed to the newly created International Criminal Court.  Seriously fears the appointed "President" of the United States might be tried for war crimes for his continuing use of force worldwide.  Fascinating, isn't it?  Bolton expressed those fears to the Federalist Society in Washington, November 14.

The "Administration" seriously believes its unbridled use of military force "protects" world peace.  … Got to kill 'em to save 'em, right, George?  Precisely why, terrorist attacks continue unabated and in fact have escalated.  Why twelve Israelis were recently killed, -- despite an iron fist from Israeli military goons.

Sooner or later, Mr. "President", the aggressively stupid American public will catch on, -- and finally understand the root cause of terror.  What will you and your cronies then do to avert the political meltdown and impending disaster?  Impose martial law?  … When unadulterated bullshit no longer works?  Is no longer bought?  Not even, in Nazi America?

With White House approval, a new bipartisan group called Committee for the Liberation of Iraq has been formed to promulgate the "liberation" of Iraq.  A virtual who's who of hawks determined to overthrow the Iraqi dictator: Former Speaker of the House Newt "The Coot" Gingrich, former Secretary of State George Shultz, Teamsters President James P. The military is desperately short of interpreters and translators for the "President's" war on terrorism.  What to do?  Fire nine Army linguists.  Gifted personnel, desperately needed.  Fired, regardless.  Why?  They're gay.  Tough, isn't it?  Doesn't take a rocket scientist or engineer to know such specialists save lives, ensure victory.

In an extraordinary act of cowardice, the still Democratically-controlled Senate Judiciary Committee allowed two Bush fascist judicial nominations to move on to the full Senate.  On a voice vote, November 14.  Then, cowardly went back and indicated on the record all Democrats on the Committee were opposed.  Political chicanery at its worst.  Needs to be payback.  … Why vote for a Democrat who does no more than support and protect a Nazi, appointed "President?"

On November 15 and without debate, the Senate confirmed one of the fascists, Michael McConnel to the 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Denver.  Sieg Heil.  On November 18, will apparently vote on the other, Dennis Shedd.  Time to boot the Democrats.  They've cowardly caved to Nazis in the Republican Party. Clearly, no longer any difference between both parties.  One, and the same.  Currently, there is virtually no political opposition to the glaringly and increasingly fascist GOP.   Doesn't bode well for liberty and rights.  Should this fiasco continue, a revolution would become inevitable.

Proving there is little to no difference between both major political parties, the lame-duck Senate voted itself a pay raise, November 14.  -- One of its first votes, reconvening after the election.  … The fourth consecutive year.

With the "drug war" a colossal failure after three decades of prosecution, U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft is desperate.  Has conveniently decided to piggyback it on the war against terrorism.  … How else can corrupt and abusive government justify expenditure of billions of taxpayer funds?  More importantly, all levels of government are in the lucrative business.  Most glaring local example?  The 33rd Judicial District Narcotics Enforcement Team (NET.)

Readers are reminded scores of credible sources, too gutless to allow publication of name and address, have come forward.  No question, NET is directly involved in the manufacture and distribution of methamphetamine.  Not alone, however.  This outrageous corruption and abuse extends across the United States throughout all "law enforcement."

Drugs are as plentiful, cheap, and available as ever.  The Nazi at the helm of the "Justice" Department is extremely concerned the public will finally become aware the "drug war" has been lost.  As prohibition of alcohol, drug prohibition has resulted in severe corruption of government and law enforcement.  Has also led to profound loss of respect and support for "officers" among a growing percentage of the population.

Instead of admitting failure, Mr. Ashcroft is determined to throw additional money and resources at the problem.  … And it is a problem.  No question, these substances are poisonous.  Including, alcohol.  The only solution is two-pronged.  First, education is crucial.  The truth.  Not, false propaganda currently being circulated for decades about these substances.  Exaggeration of facts.  Myths, propagated about substances far less toxic than others.  Precisely, why our children will not listen when it comes to far more devastating chemicals such as meth, cocaine, heroin, etc..

Second, treatment rather than incarceration.  Drug addiction is a medical problem.  Corrupt and abusive Nazis in government have falsely and self-servingly turned it into a "criminal" issue.  How else to maintain cash flow from the illicit trade?  Should drugs be legalized, how would government officials and law enforcement so easily line their pockets?

Think our Nazi Attorney General will use military force to bomb drug dealers in banana republics?  Why not?  Already, has used an American mercenary to mistakenly order the downing of a non-drug aircraft last year in Peru, resulting in the death of an American missionary.  Where is the outrage of the "Christian" Right?  Remember coverage here and in other publications?  Think Johnny Boy will start lining the federal detention center in Cuba with drug criminals?  After all, it's a "war", isn't it?  Sieg Heil, Mein Fuhrer.  America Uber Alles.

Physical assault of children is extremely popular in the United States.  Approximately 65% of the public strongly supports "spanking."  Despite the fact, nearly if not all those in prison on assault or murder charges have been physically assaulted as children themselves.  … No accounting, for the exceptionally profound aggressive stupidity of the American people.  Ignorance rocks, doesn't it?

The "Bible Belt" is front and center in this atrocity.  Embraces assault, even in the schools.  Latest glaring example?  Alabama.  … Who'd a 'thunk' it, no?  Couldn't be, could it? Forty thousand children were physically assaulted in Alabama schools last year.  That's right, 40,000.  … Ironically, these exceptionally abusive bastards then wonder why physical assault and murder are so rampant, not only in Alabama, but across the United States. Where in hell do you think they learn?

Michaela Curtis is a registered nurse.  When one of her children came home black and blue, he was immediately taken to the hospital.  Had been viciously physically assaulted by his teacher.  Why?  Seven-year-old Jonathon had committed the "crime" of picking his nose.  … Tough, isn't it?  Deserved to have the crap beaten out of him, did he?

Consequences to the teacher?  Absolutely, none.  Completely legal in the "great" state of Alabama.  Ms. Curtis cannot even sue.  When she asked a police officer who had investigated the case what would have happened to her had she been the perpetrator, he informed her in all likelihood her son would have been removed from her custody that very night.  Rightfully, so.  When a government official, a teacher in this case, physically assaults, however, it is sanctioned by the corrupt and abusive state.  Interesting, isn't it?

Alabama teachers indeed have the right to physically assault children in the classroom, -- even if the parent does not want it.  Barefoot and ignorant Nazi government officials in Alabama believe physical assault of pupils in the school system ensures children become well-educated.  Would be laughable, if not so terribly tragic.  With violent, long-term consequences.

As a formally-trained research psychologist, there is no question this ludicrous belief is outrageous absolute unadulterated nonsense.  Vicious bullshit, that is directly contributing to the worsening problem of violence in this country.  Punishment, at best, only temporarily controls behavior.  … Why do you think, criminals keep re-offending, -- despite horrendous conditions in nearly all our state prisons in the United States?

Anyone who falsely claims these prisons are "country clubs" is a liar, -- or hopelessly ignorant.  "Country club" facilities are reserved for white collar criminals at the federal level.  Rob a convenience store at gun-point and you rightfully likely will spend the rest of your life in state prison.  Embezzle from a corporation, or evade millions in taxes, you go to a federal "country club" for several years at most.   … Got to take care of the "haves", don't we?

For you Nazis out there who claim childhood spankings did no harm, think again.  … Batter your wife or husband when he or she "needs" it?  Your children?  Kick hell out of the dog or cat when pissed?  Have trouble getting it up, if a man?  Have trouble enjoying sex, if a woman?  Drink too much?  Abuse prescription medications?  Intolerant of anyone who doesn't jump at your commands?  -- Or quickly doesn't do your bidding?

Have trouble controlling anger, resulting in beating children or a pet for any infraction, no matter how petty?  Have a history of physically assaulting siblings and other children?  Engage in road rage?  Combative with neighbors?

No question, the list could go on indefinitely.  While all the above can result from other causes, the root cause of most is violence in childhood.  When kids directly, quickly, and clearly learn violence is an acceptable method of solving problems.  Effective discipline has absolutely nothing to do with physical assault.  In fact, physical assault has directly the opposite of the desired effect.  …Precisely, how do you enlightened proponents of such assault explain the fact you have to increasingly beat your children to achieve the same "desired" earlier result?

Small businesses in lower Manhattan received grants to rebuild after the 9/11 catastrophe.  In a parting shot to those afflicted with severest losses, however, outgoing IRS Commissioner Charles Rossotti has administratively made the decision to subject those grants to federal taxes.  Bloodsucking bastards at the Internal Revenue Service apparently never get enough.  How in hell is it right to tax funds used to recover from a merciless attack against innocent people?  How is it "income?"

Republicans are salivating at the prospect of finally sticking it to "turncoat" Independent Senator James M. Jeffords of Vermont for bolting the GOP, consequently turning Senate control over to the Democrats last year.  Jeffords wisely left the Grand Old Party and Republicans for being too goddamned intolerant and fascist.  Tough, isn't it?  The courageous Vermont Independent can expect to receive absolutely no cooperation or aid of any kind to his state from Nazis running the Republican Party.  Hope Jeffords continues to stand his ground.  Essentially, tell these bastards where to put their revenge.

In direct violation of the United States Constitution, prosecutors in the sniper cases have deliberately attempted to tamper with the jury pool, leaking purported incriminating statements by John Lee Malvo.  In Nazi America, however, the corrupt and abusive judiciary has conveniently looked the other way to ensure creation of a fascist police-state.  With no rights or constitutional guaranties.

Augusta National Golf Club Chairman Hootie Johnson strongly asserts his organization will not alter a men-only membership policy.  … Anytime in the near future.  Interesting, isn't it?  The Good Ole' Boy, -- as apparently the rest of the club, enjoys dragging his knuckles on the ground behind him as his fellow Neanderthals.  ... Aren't you tired of the continual bleeding, fool?

The club, as a private organization, indeed, has the right to discriminate against women.  Does so, regarding membership, but cleverly does not prevent them from golfing, however.  Clearly, wants the income.  Time for women to vote with their feet.  Take their business elsewhere.  … So should the U.S. Masters, including all its competitors.

Nazi U.S. Border Patrol agents will set up random roadblocks to harass innocent citizens.  Why?  "National security."  According to INS spokesperson Greg Palmore: "It's all about homeland security. Bottom line, we are here to be vigilant about the safety and security of the American people."  Nonsense.  Mr. Palmore is a liar.

Readers will recall the Alex and Derek King murder case reported here and elsewhere recently.  The murder conviction of both boys was thrown out.  The dismissal followed two related murder trials.  One, theirs.  The other against an adult pedophile, Ricky Chavis, who was most likely guilty of the murder, but escaped conviction.

Additional proof there is no justice in the United States, Florida Circuit Judge Frank Bell accepted a plea bargain.  Alex will serve seven years.  Derek, eight.  James Stokes, Alex' attorney declared:  "He could face life in prison again or take the offer.  Alex's decision was to take the offer. This is the only way he has got any possibility at rehabilitation." Sharon Potter, counsel to Derek, similarly asserted: "Obviously, there's better alternatives out there, if the boys could walk out of jail."  If so, Counselor, why the hell didn't you fight for them?  Why so easily cave?

Readers are reminded prosecutor David Rimmer pursued two totally different theories of the murder.  One, during the combined trial of both boys.  Another, while trying the pedophile adult for the same murder.  Laughably, Rimmer haughtily remarked after the plea "bargain":  "I got the truth. I also wanted them to take responsibility. This is the first step toward rehabilitation."

This Nazi "prosecutor" is a liar.  Wouldn't know truth if it bit him hard on the ass.  The "agreement" is no indication of anything other than glaring coercion for personal gain by a fascist government official.  Plea bargains are accepted all the time for a variety of reasons, the least of which, usually, being the "truth."

… As in the case of Carolyn Alsobrook, recently covered in this publication. Who for the sake of convenience, expediency, and limitation of legal exposure, agreed to plead guilty to a charge of speeding she was not guilty of.  Now, apparently, has regrets.

resolution encouraging all Texas local school districts to remove Channel
One from the public schools.  Texans for Public Justice is supporting the

Channel One is the most egregious form of commercial exploitation of
schoolchildren. Under the guise of a news show, it delivers two minutes of

The following ignored snail-mailed letter to Mr. Dell
has been published in the last two editions of The
Llano Ledger.  Readers are entitled to know precisely
how Mr. Notebook and Dell Computer do business.
Indeed, a public service.  Will continue to be posted
weekly for months.  -- Until I get tired of it.

At that time, a new webpage on The Ledger website will
be created.  All correspondence between Mr. Notebook
as well as Dell "Support" and this writer will be
posted.  -- Again, the readership has the right to know
exactly how both companies operate.  … Particularly,
how poor "support" is at both firms.

Should your attorneys decide to sue, by all means do
so.  With an exceptionally corrupt and abusive court
system, Dell indeed would likely prevail.  Regardless
of the truth.  After all, your multi-billion dollar
corporation can easily financially impose its will.
Would be an empty victory for several reasons,
however.

First, would fully publicly demonstrate precisely how
abusive and repressive a powerful corporate entity can
be, -- ultimately costing market share.  After all,
why buy Dell when you can purchase HP, -- a company
far more attentive to customer concerns and
complaints?

Second, would certainly publicly expose Dell "Support"
for being inept, unresponsive, and profoundly
obfuscating.  Sadly, -- the number one problem in the
view of product users.   … Again, costing market
share.

Third, a suit would bring this publication additional
recognition nationally.  With readership exponentially
expanding, can only further aid and assist, no?

Fourth, should Dell prevail, this publication has no
assets, -- other than the piece of trash this message
is typed on.  Remember?  The supposedly "factory
refurbished" Latitude Mr. Notebook fraudulently sold
as rebuilt?

Fifth, this writer has no assets. Certainly, "judgment
proof", so to speak.  The truth regarding this entire
fiasco would come out in court for all to see,
regardless of whether or not Dell uses its
considerable assets to buy a favorable, self-serving
outcome.

So, should your legal beagles choose to file suit,
bring it on.  … Hardball?  You bet.  Can only wonder
how many others have had to put up with this same
crap, or worse.  While they had no options, this
publication certainly does.  Can indeed expose it to
the light of day.

Bottom line, Mr. DeRosier, is the fact the office of
the CEO has not had the courtesy nor seen fit to
answer the enclosed letter, preferring to stonewall.
-- Or possibly never received the letter at all.

… Could have been conveniently intercepted by a crony
in the Dell mail department?  After all, you knew full
well it was coming.  Nothing less than a response from
the office of the CEO is acceptable.

If his office indeed received the correspondence, it
is glaringly indifferent to unresolved customer
complaints.  Has apparently refused to right the wrong
regardless of legal culpability or lack thereof.

Certainly, aggressively stupid since you've already
likely lost more in sales than it would have cost to
correct the problem.  Corporate image is priceless,
isn't it, or has Dell Computer indeed grown too fat
and complacent to care?  -- Or is this merely a matter
of one Dell employee desperately trying to cover his
ass and/or that of his department?

Dear Mr. Dell:

A Dell factory refurbished Latitude was purchased from Mr. Notebook by [redacted] of [redacted] and donated to this non-profit publication about a year ago.  Despite a nearly $900 expenditure, this machine has been a piece of trash since purchase.  Support from Mr. Notebook was non-existent.  Sadly, Dell Support was not much better.

Clearly, after a year's worth of problems, factory "refurbished" does not mean factory "rebuilt".  Apparently, the hard disk, floppy, and CD drives were never replaced.  -- The most likely sources of product failure.  In addition, the supposedly replaced lithium-ion battery module has a design flaw.  Although the machine has always been run on AC power and the battery maintained at 100% charge, intelligence circuitry in the module failed, rendering the battery worthless.  -- Coincidentally occurred during the latest email foray with Dell Support regarding floppy disk failure.  … Aren't I lucky?  Incredibly blessed?

All that was requested from Dell Support this time around, however, was a pointer to diagnostics that would have pinpointed the problem with the floppy drive.  … Not absolutely sure yet whether the failure lies only in the drive itself, or may also involve the socket and possibly bugs in drivers common to both the floppy and CD ROM drives.  Sadly, the CD ROM has never worked flawlessly either and has had occasional problems of reliability.  … At least, it's still working, however.  Unlike the floppy.

While Dell Support indeed provided a pointer to diagnostics, the download ironically requires use of boot disk and floppy.  Indeed, a problem of not being able to get from here to there.  When pointed out to Support, received no further assistance, -- just an outrageous run around.  … Despite assurances on the Dell website such email support supposedly exists for life of the product.

Mr. Dell, I can certainly understand you cannot be aware of all problems within a large corporation.  You do, however, have unaddressed flaws with "refurbished" machines sold by disreputable vendors fraudulently and phonily invoking Dell corporate name, image, and prestige, and more importantly, horrendous problems with a totally unresponsive Dell Support division.  No question, it is doing damage to corporate public image and reputation.  Sadly, although your machines are extremely popular, the greatest problem I've heard from users is lack of support.  Can certainly attest to that from personal experience.

Support outrageously refused to provide an email address for your office, -- unlike HP and other corporations more responsive to unresolved customer problems and complaints.  … An email address would have certainly provided an easy practical way of sending the entire email exchange over the last year.  Would have sorely indicated glaring obfuscation, non-responsiveness, and interminable intentional delay.  Hard to believe you're unaware.  Than again, Dell Corporation could apparently care less.

Mr. Notebook sold the Latitude as a Dell factory refurbished machine, supposedly tested by Dell-trained technicians, clearly so indicated on the bottom of the computer.  Again, the floppy, CD, and hard drives apparently were never replaced.  The most likely components to fail.   Since factory refurbished clearly does not mean factory rebuilt, the computer is no more than a used machine.  … A machine that could have been bought for half the price at a resale shop.  Even less if purchased privately.  With the price of new notebooks precipitously dropping recently to the $900 range and technically capable of running circles around this dinosaur, assuredly have no intention of dumping additional money into this piece of trash.

Mr. Notebook, on the day of purchase, claimed this machine to be factory refurbished.  Repeatedly made the claim.  Clearly, it was not.  Mr. Notebook quickly washed its hands of this lemon, failing to answer follow-up correspondence from this publication regarding product failure shortly after purchase.  Have no intention of wasting additional time and effort haggling further with Mr. Notebook, -- other than to publish an investigative article exposing this entire fiasco.  After all, the public is entitled to know exactly how business was done.

Due to several serious problems never corrected by Dell or Mr. Notebook since purchase of this falsely alleged Dell factory refurbished product, however, can honestly say at this point I would never again purchase a Dell computer, -- new, used, or "factory refurbished".  From anyone.  Certainly would never encourage others to purchase Dell either.  Indeed, why take the risk and put up with the hassle?

Regardless of whether or not Dell Corporation is technically or legally responsible for fraudulent claims made by a vendor of Dell machines, the damage done to corporate image is indeed severe nonetheless.  The lack of competent support and assistance from Dell Corporation in the matter is stunning.  Certainly, costly in terms of good faith and product loyalty lost.  Regardless of legal responsibility.

Have enclosed the last few emails from Support upper management refusing to provide an email address for your office and highly indicative and glaringly demonstrative of ongoing obfuscation over the last year.  Little more than canned, computer-generated messages containing phony platitudes and false concern designed to obfuscate and stonewall rather than provide technical assistance or resolution.  Apparently, the problem is top-down, since tone and substance of upper management Support is no different than that of lower level techs.  Although unquestionably a public service, have held off publishing an investigative article until I hear from your office.

As strongly asserted in the last 81 editions, gut-wrenching fear generated by the Narcotics Enforcement Team is quite impressive. After all, these Nazi stormtroopers not only outrageously intimidate defendants and their gutless attorneys, but even innocent third parties who have suffered at their corrupt and abusive hands.

Recently, a source came forward with allegations regarding the death of a loved one under exceptionally curious circumstances. Sadly, the survivor got cold feet.

Most pointedly and quite publicly, how in hell do you expect these abuses to end if you don't have the guts to stand up and expose them to the light of day?

Every time a source cowardly runs the other way, the corrupt and abusive sons of bitches win. Every g-ddamned time. Worse yet, another nail is driven into the coffin of liberty.

If you don't have the courage to stand up and do the right thing, why should this writer continue to place himself in physical and legal jeopardy trying to expose the outrageous corruption and abuse?
