Readers will recall the top-secret FISA court located in a windowless room in the basement of the "Justice" Department has been repeatedly skewered in this publication for quite some time.  The 1978 Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) was and is a glaringly unconstitutional statute designed to make it easier for government to secure wiretap authorization against spies, terrorists, and other foreign enemies of the United States.  -- Not private U.S. citizens, who are not agents of a foreign government.  Government goons must have probable cause the target is indeed an agent of a foreign government.

No other probable cause regarding sought evidence is required for authorization of wiretaps and other sources of surveillance.  Therefore, FISA evidence gathered is NOT intended to be used in criminal prosecutions.  ONLY as an aid to be used by government to supposedly protect the American public against foreign enemies.  -- A classic example of how constitutional rights have been bastardized and eviscerated over the years.  FISA is glaringly unconstitutional because it falsely denies foreigners in this country constitutional rights.

The treasonous sons of bitches in Congress who passed this measure signed by the President back in 1978 glaringly refused to consider the Fourth Amendment and its privacy requirements.  Couldn't care less.  The top secret court for years rubberstamped whatever corrupt and abusive government goons wanted.  -- Apparently until the last few years of the Clinton Administration.  To its credit, the FISA court recently publicly disclosed more than 75 cases in which it was misled by the FBI and "Justice" Department.  Interesting, isn't it?  Apparently, there are limits, however, which even the 11 fascist rotating "judges" on this extraordinarily abusive kangaroo "court" won't cross.

Seems they're particularly perturbed with Nazi U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft.  This outrageous fascist has glaringly attempted to circumvent the 1978 law and its requirement gathered evidence under the statute NOT be used in criminal prosecutions.  After all, there is no probable cause requirement regarding the substance of the material sought.  -- A much lower standard than allowed by criminal law and the United States Constitution.  Hasn't stopped Ole' Johnny Boy from eviscerating and bastardizing the Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, and Eighth Amendments, however.  In fact, this Nazi through his spokeswoman, Barbara Comstock, has claimed the "Patriot" Act allows such new interpretations of the 1978 FISA Act: "We believe this decision [FISA court ruling] unnecessarily narrowed the Patriot Act and limits our ability to fully utilize the authority that Congress provided us."   … Sieg Heil, Mein Fuhrer.

The public ruling couldn't have come at a worse time for Ashcroft, since DOJ is seeking even more abusive prosecutorial power.  Not surprisingly, the Nazi is not a happy camper and has appealed.  Although the court did not provide evidence in the more than 75 cases of misrepresentation and falsehood by the FBI and "Justice" Department, it is nonetheless a welcome ray of sunshine.  A cowardly Congress needs to quickly and seriously investigate the activities of this court and the corrupt and abusive FBI and "Justice" Department.  Since these abuses extend back to the Clinton Administration, certainly belies the Fascist Right's labeling of Clinton as a "liberal".

Working definition of fascism for new readers? An abusive and dangerous oligarchy based on a pernicious blend of government, big business, and religion. ... A boot-heel cynically placed on the throat of the masses, justified in principle by perversion and bastardization of religion.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. James Sensenbrenner, R-Wis. is not a happy camper.  -- Threatening to subpoena Nazi Attorney General John Ashcroft.  Why?  Ole' Johnny Boy is refusing to explain exactly how government goons are using their new Gestapo powers under the "Patriot" Act.  -- USA Patriot Act to be exact.  One of the most fascist pieces of legislation to ever be signed into law, as detailed by this publication in many earlier editions.  What makes the threat of subpoena so interesting is the fact it is sought by a fellow Republican.  Apparently, Ashcroft has abused his power so profoundly even his supporters are beginning to question the Nazi tactics and evisceration of civil and constitutional rights and liberties.

Fifty germane written questions were sent to the "Justice" Department in late July.  The Nazi at the helm of DOJ balked, answering some, ignoring many.  Then again to be expected from the Aryan arrogant element.  Outrageously, exceptionally little is known about government implementation of the "Patriot" Act by legislators charged with overseeing it.  Extremely little.  The Bush "Administration" has managed to operate in near total secrecy, maximizing its ability to eviscerate all constitutional rights with virtual impunity.  Especially dangerous since government is able to easily access information either without a warrant or with one issued by a secret court without the need for probable cause.  -- Just "suspicion" by government thugs.

Although the "President" and his Nazi henchmen have perfected the evisceration of constitutional rights and liberties into an art and science, outrageously, egregious violation of habeas corpus extends back, well before the Bush "Administration".  Former university instructor Mazen Al-Najjar, 45, was unlawfully and unconstitutionally imprisoned from 1997 to 2000 on "secret evidence" the "Justice" Department supposedly had linking him to Islamic militant groups.  In December 2000, a court released him, declaring the "evidence" insufficient.  … Who'd a 'thunk' it, no?  Couldn't be, could it?  Why in hell did it take the fascist judiciary in excess of three years to do so?

Subsequent to 9/11 and in apparent retaliation against the Arab and Muslim community in the United States, in November 2001 our corrupt and abusive government again jailed him after he conveniently lost an appeal of a deportation order.  The prisoner has denied all links to terrorism and apparently had not left the U.S. because as a stateless Palestinian, no country would accept him.  -- A problem of not being able to get from here to there.  Now finally, the United States has conveniently found one, an undisclosed Arab nation enjoying "friendly relations" with the U.S..  Stunning, isn't it?

Bottom line?  Our fascist government unconstitutionally held this man for years in prison on NO charges.  Was afforded NO due process.  Should send a shiver up the back of all Americans.  Then again, the people in this country are too damned aggressively stupid to know any better.

Al-Najjar's brother-in-law, Sami Al-Arian is similarly being railroaded by the University of South Florida.  Mr. Al-Arian is a professor there and is fighting for his job.  The school is attempting to fire him for his views and public speech, nothing he's done.  They've gone to court to see if it's indeed lawful to fire him, afraid they may be violating his First Amendment rights.  … Duh.  Incredibly sad.  The government has absolutely no evidence against either man.  Neither has been charged.  Yet, Al-Najjar was imprisoned for nearly four years before being deported.  Reportedly, to Lebanon.  Al-Arian is being fired for his views as a professor.  Indeed, a sad day in fascist America.  -- Where cowardice and aggressive stupidity reign supreme.

The "President" of the United States appears to be feeling the heat, -- growing opposition to an invasion of Iraq.  At an Aug. 21 mini press conference, he declared: "Regime change is in the interests of the world…How we achieve that is a matter of consultation and deliberative — deliberation…When I say I'm a patient man, I mean I'm a patient man and that we will look at all options and we will consider all technologies available to us, and diplomacy… Are you asking about Iraq? The subject didn't come up in this meeting…I know there's this kind of intense speculation that seems to be going on, a kind of a — I don't know how you would describe it. It's kind of a churning."

Interesting, isn't it?  At the same time, military supplies continue to stream unabatedly into the Gulf area.  The "President" is obviously preparing for an invasion.  Will he strike?  Doing so without support of allies or military commanders who remain strongly opposed?  Without a Congressional Declaration of War?  Dangerous thought.  … Awesome power, unconstitutionally claimed by a fascist tyrant, -- should he indeed proceed.  An invasion would be far more than defensive.  An attack intended to topple a regime and impose a new government on the Iraqi people.  Such a decision, however, rightfully belongs to Congress.  Not one lone jackass, appointed by a fascist Supreme Court.

The question is not whether Saddam should or should not go.  The issue is two-fold.  First, whether or not it is in the best long-term interests of the United States to unilaterally impose its will, without support of the world community.  Second, whether the American people should extend to one man, the "President", the unconstitutional power to decide on his own to invade and topple another country.

Adolph Hitler assumed such enormous power with disastrous consequences.  Consider the rhetoric of fascists who support the "President".  While Bush was taking obvious pains to soften war drums he self-servingly started to beat and is apparently stunned by the level of opposition to invasion, Texas Republican Rep. Tom DeLay was assuring fascist shills at the Houston Forum of the inevitability of war with Iraq:  "I'm here today to make the case for liberating Iraq…Saddam must go, and the sooner, the better…The question is not whether to go to war, for war has already been thrust upon us…The only choice is between victory and defeat. And let's be clear about this, we must choose victory, a victory that cannot be secured at a bargaining table."  Further pontificating, Mr. DeLay Aryan arrogantly disingenuously counseled and cautioned the U.S. and jackass occupying the White House should not concern themselves with criticism "for in the last analysis, we'll answer, not to the fickle whims of the international community, but to posterity."

Stunningly chilling rhetoric, isn't it?  Remarkably similar to that of Adolph Hitler and his henchmen prior to and after the Nazi invasion of Poland in 1939.  Propaganda designed to lubricate the American public for what could turn out to be an extremely costly military adventure in Iraq.  After all, Saddam will not go quietly or easily.  Will likely use all weapons of mass destruction, not only against invading American forces, but the State of Israel as well.  Precisely what the "Administration" is allegedly trying to prevent.  Exactly why American commanders are so opposed.  As are European allies, -- much to the bewilderment of the "Administration" who cannot understand the magnitude of opposition.

At the Aug. 21 meeting with reporters, the "President" phonily bemoaned the "churning" regarding the increasing crescendo of war drums, searching for a better word.  Defense Secretary Rumsfeld disingenuously volunteered "frenzy".  … Despite the fact both men are directly responsible for raising the level of rhetoric for weeks now.  Then again, to the fascist element, day is night, night is day, and manure smells sweet.

What makes the invasion of Iraq so disturbing is the fact it would represent a radical break in U.S. foreign policy.  The United States to date has for the most part used military force defensively.  This would be the first time the U.S. would employ an extremely aggressive first strike against what is no more than a potential future threat.  Iraq, since defeat in the Gulf War, has remained within its borders.  Has not attacked its neighbors.  Is not rattling sabres.  Is not ominously and imminently threatening anyone, -- other than its own people, -- who bear ultimate responsibility for overthrowing the tyrant.  Should circumstances change, then, the U.S. and allies should strongly react.

The "President" is dangerously changing long-established policy, asserting a new doctrine of "preemption" as declared in a June 1 speech at West Point.  Will certainly be used to justify any military adventure the "President" sees fit to engage in the war against terror.  While the jackass occupying the White House whines about "shadowy terrorist networks" and "unbalanced dictators with weapons of mass destruction", can only genuinely wonder whether he is in fact speaking of himself and his equally fascist henchmen.

Bush remarkably asserted: "Our security will require all Americans to be forward-looking and resolute, to be ready for preemptive action when necessary to defend our liberty and to defend our lives."  Again, sounds remarkably similar to rhetoric coming from the Third Reich prior to and after commencement of hostilities during the Second World War.  Should indeed send a chill up the spine of the American public.  Ominously, the "President's" change in policy represents a violation of international law, which allows use of force in self defense to actual not potential attacks.  Dangerously, it becomes an excuse to strike out against enemies without provocation.  What if nuclear-armed Pakistan or India decides to follow the "President's" example and preemptively strikes the other?

Unintended consequences of an American invasion of Iraq could be horrendous.  No question, should Israel get hit with chemical or biological SCUDs, it would quickly respond with nuclear obliteration of Iraq.  A holocaust in the Middle East unparalleled in history.  Should Israel or the United States respond to such attacks by Saddam with nuclear retaliation, who could blame them?  Why not avoid the issue in the first place, however, by wisely not invading and "preemptively" trying to topple the Iraqi dictator?  -- A tyrant who would unlikely use such weapons outside his own country in the near future if unprovoked, knowing full well it would result in immediate nuclear obliteration.  If attacked by the U.S. preemptively, however, all bets are off since he's dead either way.

Want glaringly demonstrative insight into the fascist agenda of the "Religious" Right?  Take a careful look at the current boondoggle plaguing Florida's child welfare agency.  Former Florida Department of Children and Families Director Kathleen A. Kearney was recently forced to resign due to months of embarrassments, including the loss of a child in its care, four-year-old Rilya Wilson, -- incredibly, failing to notice she was missing for well over a year.

In response, Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, brother of the "President", appointed Jerry Regier to the post.  What's the problem?  Mr. Regier is a flaming right wing fascist, affiliated with the Nazi extreme of the "Christian" Right.  Mr. Regier's name reportedly appeared on a 1989 "religious" essay titled "The Christian World View Of The Family".  It apparently supports physical assault of children resulting in "temporary and superficial bruises and welts".  Not surprisingly it strongly condemned abortion and parenting by gays.  … Nothing quite like "Christian" bigotry and "charity", no?

Interestingly, the document asserts women should only remain in the home and not work.  Calling employment by women "bondage".  … Hey, fools?  What in hell do you call employment for men at a minimum wage or a dollar or two above with no healthcare or other benefits?  -- As quickly becoming the norm across the U.S.?   … While financially portly fascists get down on bended knee every Sunday thanking God for THEIR great looted fortune, -- laughing their fat asses off all the way to the bank.

Regier is desperately trying to distance himself from the essay. His name, however, reportedly remains on the Revival Coalition's website, the group responsible for this remarkable piece of literature.  -- Interestingly, as a member of the group's national steering committee no less.  Was co-chairman at the time the essay was published.  Fascinating, isn't it?  Not surprisingly, Democrats are calling for the Governor to withdraw the nomination.  At the time of this writing, the good ole' boy remains intransigent.  What else is expected from a right wing fascist in the mold of his brother, the appointed Nazi currently occupying the Oval Office?

An earlier 1988 article, "The Not-So-Disposable Family", was written solely by Regier and certainly reinforces his sickly perverse views on child rearing and status of women in the home: "The Bible is not at all uncertain about value of discipline: 'Although you smite him with the rod, he will not die. Smite him with the rod ... save the soul,'''… "Scripture is clear in stating that women are to be 'helpmates' to their husbands, that they are to bear and nurture, that they are to be 'workers at home.'''  While Regier has hypocritically sought to distance himself from the 1989 article, he cannot quite as easily do so with this one as sole author.

Glaringly demonstrative of the right wing fascist he clearly is, Gov. Jeb Bush continued to defend his perverse nominee:  "Going back and misinterpreting articles that were written 10 to 15 years ago as the basis for his departure just shows how it's time to take a pause and a deep breath, maybe reflect on some of these assertions.''  Reflect on what, Governor?  Your good ole' boy publicly stated he supports the physical assault of children as a method of "discipline".  Tactics he admitted to using himself in the raising of his children.  Tactics, had he employed on an adult or child that wasn't his, would have rightfully landed the abusive bastard in a jail cell.

The Nazi Florida Governor went on to defend physical assault of children declaring: "If the mom or dad, out of love or discipline, want to use corporal punishment as a tool to bring a sense of order in a child's life -- which is commonplace -- do they think the DCF should be called and kids should be yanked out of the home?''  Damned right, Governor.  They should.  Not only that, the parent responsible should be immediately arrested and hauled to jail.  Certainly don't want our children being taught violence an acceptable method of solving problems.  Precisely what happened in the childhood of nearly every case of adult violent offenders and those on death row.  If not every damned one of them.  Then again, don't confuse a fascist with the truth, he or she's too aggressively stupid to know any better.

As the fascist "Religious" Right has perversely done for years, the Governor has mindlessly accepted the outrageously false and destructive notion that physical assault of children is somehow indicative of "love".  What it's indicative of is blind acceptance of biblical principles and a profound inability to think for oneself.  These are the same pathetic sickly perverse individuals who to this very day would impose biblical principles and stone adulterers, prostitutes, fornicators, and gays to death.  … In the name of God.   As prescribed by the sick puppy who wrote Leviticus.

They similarly use biblical principles to justify the physical abuse of their own children.  -- Hey, Jeb?  Certainly worked in the case of your daughter who's been jailed and treated for prescription drug abuse, no, Governor?  … Hey, George?  Certainly worked in the case of your daughters who have been involved in underage use of alcohol repeatedly, right, Mr. "President"?  -- Or didn't you beat them hard enough, "gentlemen"?  ... That, the problem?

Clearly, the Republicans and "Religious" Right have embraced Israel and its use of barbaric tactics against occupied Palestinians.  In fact so much so, Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon had planned to come to Florida on Sept. 9 for a meeting with the Governor, the day before a Democratic primary election to select Bush's opponent in November.  Interesting, isn't it?  Sharon backed out Aug. 22, however, apparently due to intense grumbling from Democrats who were not happy campers, -- especially since the Israeli Prime Minister had no announced plans to meet them.  Tough, isn't it?

Interestingly, the Florida Governor has aligned himself with Israel for the purpose of securing the Jewish vote.  The fact the GOP has glaringly and publicly embraced Sharon speaks volumes.  The Israeli Prime Minister is a war criminal dating back to his extremely brutal invasion of Lebanon some twenty years ago.  -- So much so, Israel was sanctioned by the Reagan Administration for its use of cluster bombs in violation of American weapons export control law requiring all shipped weapons to be used only for defensive purposes.

At least, Reagan was willing to enforce the statute.  Interestingly, the current "President" of the United States has refused to enforce the same export control law against Israel for its recent use of an American-supplied F-16 to assassinate a Palestinian Hamas leader in a highly populated civilian area.  Resulting in many deaths and physical injuries.  Then again, the oath of office means nothing to the fascist, appointed "President" by the U.S. Supreme Court.

Israeli military goons have stepped up demolition of homes belonging to families of suspected Palestinian terrorists.  Employing tactics remarkably similar to those of Nazi stormtroopers during the Second World War, Israel "generously" provides these families with the opportunity to turn in their loved ones first.  If they betray a family member sought by Israeli military thugs, their house is spared.  Otherwise, it's bulldozed.

… But only after kangaroo "due process" before the Israeli Supreme Court.  -- A sham designed to rubberstamp the atrocity.  Israeli thugs defend the process as facilitating deterrence.  Absolute nonsense as suicide bombings proliferate.  In fact, growing increasingly effective as the "weapon" of choice to kill Israelis.  During the last six years of the struggle, the kill ratio of Palestinians to Israelis was 6.7.

That is, 6.7 Palestinians killed for each Israeli.  Credit the impressive kill ratio to American-supplied F-16s, Apache attack helicopters, and ordnance.  All supplied courtesy of looted American taxpayers.  With tremendous increase in suicide bombings in the last six months, however, the kill ratio dropped to 1.7.  Remarkable, isn't it?  Israelis are finally getting theirs and are none too happy about it.  Tough, isn't it?

-- All that American-supplied firepower rendered ineffective against suicide bombers penetrating deeply into the heart of Israel.  Yet, the Israelis still don't get it.  At least their government certainly doesn't.  Eye for any eye does NOT work.  Just results in a whole 'lotta' blind people.  Yet, Israelis remain intransigent and committed to tactics that don't work and will in fact sadly ensure the ultimate destruction of the State of Israel.  … Regardless of American weapons support and taxpayer treasure.  -- Not even with introduction and long-term occupation by American military forces.

Israel cannot effectively defend itself and ultimately prevail against millions of Arabs hellbent on doing whatever it takes, including suicide bombings.  The only way for it to survive is to make peace and return to its borders.  The only way.  Now.  The time is quickly approaching when it will be too late.  Sadly, the problem is not the Israeli people.  It's government.  An aggressive and barbaric government that has lost itself and remains clueless, laughably believing demolition of Palestinian homes will appease its citizens and make them think it's indeed doing something other than nothing.  … As Israelis continue to die in record numbers during "peacetime".

The utter cowardice of the Israeli Army is striking.  They gutlessly force Palestinians to knock on the doors of fellow Palestinians to get them to come out and surrender to Israeli military goons.  Many have been killed.  The cowardly tactic is called "The Neighbor Procedure".  It involves the use of Palestinians as human shields against other Palestinians.

In the eyes of the Arab world, the United States is as guilty as the State of Israel for employment of such tactics.  Why?  The United States supplies Israel with weapons and treasure.  It also conveniently and cowardly looks the other way when Israel uses these weapons to subjugate Palestinians and bolster its occupation of Palestinian land.  … Assassinating its leaders through bombing highly populated areas with American-supplied F-16s in violation of U.S. export law.  -- As the jackass appointed to the White House by a fascist Supreme Court looks the other way and refuses to enforce the law in violation of his oath of office.

Better watch your kids like a hawk.  Whatever the hell you do, don't ever let 'em get sunburned.  Never.  Otherwise, trusty officers can arrest and haul your sorry ass to jail.  No joke.  Eve Hibbits of Steubenville, Oh. was incarcerated eight days for allowing three kids to get sunburned.  Felony counts.  Took over a week for this case to finally make national news.  Due to the uproar and outright lying and misrepresentation by law enforcement goons, Hibbits was finally released and charges reduced to misdemeanors.

Sheriff Fred Abdalla publicly lied, asserting the children had suffered second degree burns.  Not so.  Had also falsely claimed one of the children had a collapsed lung.  Again, not so.  Paramedics examining the kids thought there was nothing wrong, yet offered to take them to the hospital.  And did.  Abdalla crowed: "My intent was for the safety of the children, which was accomplished, and to give her a wake-up call."

Who the hell is this law enforcement goon to give anyone a wake-up call?  He's supposed to be an officer of the law, not a social worker.  Can only wonder how many times he and his henchmen have walked past parents physically assaulting their children and done absolutely nothing.  -- Other than a wink and a nod. Jefferson County Prosecutor Brian Felmet opined the misdemeanor charges can result in six months imprisonment and a $1000 fine, but "generously" opted for probation.

Ms. Hibbits should courageously tell the Nazi prosecutor where he can put his charges and insist on going to trial rather than plea bargain.  What we have here is a glaring case of false arrest.  Sovereign immunity statutes need to be changed to hold criminal law enforcement thugs responsible for their crimes.  Both the Sheriff and his Deputy ought to be imprisoned the same amount of time this woman was unjustly held in jail.  In the same damned jail, and NOT segregated from other prisoners.  … As a "wake-up" call.  Right "Sheriff"?  A multi-million dollar judgment would also serve as future deterrent to law enforcement thugs and their corrupt masters in the prosecution "business".

... This is not to lessen the responsibility of parents to use sunscreen on children, -- and to carefully watch sun exposure to minimize skin cancer risks.  For government thugs to turn sunburn into a felony however, resulting in eight days unlawful incarceration and then conveniently reduce charges to misdemeanors when exposed as liars, is certainly another matter.  This mother is egregiously guilty of no more than aggressive stupidity.  More so, the Barney Fife "Sheriff" and his sidekick.  If anyone should be prosecuted, it's certainly these two clowns.  Regardless, if aggressive stupidity is now a crime, seems the "President" of the United States should have long since seen his day in court.

The Fascist Right will go to any extent or extreme necessary to impose its fascist agenda.  -- Including distorting medical reality to further its aims.  The Christian Medical Association, American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and Concerned Women For America filed a petition with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to revoke its approval of the abortion pill RU-486.  Falsely and phonily claiming the medication "put[s] women's health and lives at risk."  Absolute nonsense. The petitioners could care less about women's health.  Sadly, the agenda is clear.  Stop another avenue of abortion.  A painless, easy way to abort very early on, -- without needlessly placing women at risk with an invasive procedure.

Can't have that.  After all, women don't own their uterus.  These fascists think THEY do.  ... Then conveniently walk away from mother and child after birth, -- strongly opposed to welfare, expecting women to work for a minimum wage with no benefits or childcare.  After all, it's their "fault", isn't it?  How else can these "religious" bigoted fascists get down on bended knee every Sunday thanking God for THEIR great looted fortune, while laughing their portly asses off all the way to the bank?  Self-righteously judging and condemning unmarried women for their "sins", -- while conveniently refusing to look in the mirror first.

While the "President" indeed stumped at two private fund-raisers Aug. 23 for Cal. gubernatorial candidate Bill Simon, he declined to be seen publicly with him at a meeting of Hispanic leaders in Santa Ana.  Not surprising, is it?  Mr. Simon recently was slapped with a $78 million fraud judgment.  Seems his investment firm doesn't conduct business on the up and up.  Mr. Bush certainly wouldn't want to be publicly seen with people guilty of crimes he's conveniently and supposedly pledged to combat.  Interesting, isn't it?  Hypocritical, as well.  ... Readers are reminded just the day before, the "President" strongly called for "hard time" in prison for such corporate crooks.  Fascinating, isn't it?  Glaringly hypocritical, -- as everything this "President" attempts to do or justify.  Clearly, Ole' George "The Tush" says one thing, does another.

When challenged on the conflict and inconsistency, he callously replied:  "Bill Simon assures us that when the courts look at this case, he'll be innocent.  I take the man at his word."  Say WHAT, George?  The courts have already taken a "look" at the case and slapped a $78 million judgment against him and his glaringly corrupt firm, you jackass.  A little Aryan arrogant, isn't it, to presume it'll be reversed on appeal?  ... Unless of course, you abuse your power and corruptly influence an appeals court.  Pointedly, "taking care of things" runs in the Bush family, doesn't it, sir?  As it did when Daddy apparently ensured the Securities and Exchange Commission conveniently found nothing criminal in your own shady dealings when a board member at Harken Energy Corp..

Demonstrating he's no different than Clinton, Mr. Bush also sought to be able to put a "non-political" event on the schedule so the taxpayers could be conveniently looted for the campaign trip. Simon's absence at the Hispanic leaders meeting facilitated it.  … Nothing quite like killing two birds with one stone, right?

Nice to see the jackass appointed to the White House receiving stiff opposition from some 500 protesters in Portland, Ore. Aug. 23.  Too bad, the demonstration did not remain totally non-violent.  Violence always does severe damage to credibility and one's issues.  Demonstrators were apparently unhappy about Bush's plans to implement old forest logging and the invasion of Iraq.  The appointed "President" must have indeed been gratified to see protesters vastly outnumbered by "Administration" shills too aggressively stupid to understand the great peril our fascist "President" and his equally Nazi henchmen have placed this once great nation in.  Sad, protesters have not learned the value of totally non-violent tactics used by Dr. Martin Luther King.  At the very least, it's always wiser and better to permit police to show their true colors.  … By allowing, not forcing, law enforcement thugs to initiate violence.  Certainly alters public opinion as it did during the civil rights struggle some 45 years ago.

Nazi courts in the United States remain determined to protect good ole' boys guilty of sexual harassment in the workplace.  The 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals threw out a December 1999 $1 million judgment against GM.  Fascist Chief Judge David Hansen declared: "Numerous cases have rejected hostile work environment claims premised upon facts equally or more egregious than the conduct at issue here."  Sounds remarkably like the reasoning of another similar case covered last week in this publication involving a professor and student.  Clearly, Nazi "judges" intend to protect their cronies.  This case is particularly egregious since a jury had already considered the circumstances and awarded the judgment, only to be reversed on appeal by a corrupt and abusive judiciary.  Sadly, such outrageous lack of justice in the court system only ensures further violence in the workplace.  … As disgruntled workers continue to be denied relief in the courts.

Remember Mitchell Crooks?  The guy who videotaped the vicious assault by white police officers on a 16-year-old black kid in a California service station July 6?  In apparent retribution, he was forced to "agree" to spend 204 days in jail for a probation violation.  Charges involving DUI, hit-and-run, and petty theft.  --Certainly not a sterling character or one you would want to date your daughter though.  Mr. Crooks, however, provided a public service and is a hero for videotaping outrageously corrupt and abusive officers committing criminal assault.  Courageously placed himself in great legal jeopardy and danger of physical assault by criminal officers.  Should have been awarded a medal.  At the very least pardoned.  Think the corrupt and abusive bastards in the District Attorney's office will anywhere near as aggressively prosecute the two criminal thugs who wore a badge and strapped on a gun?

Where's the outrage of the GOP?  Mercilessly and rightfully, Republicans skewered Clinton for selling overnight stays at the White House in return for campaign contributions.  Yet, they remain deafeningly and hypocritically silent when Mr. Bush does precisely the same.  "Renting" White House bedrooms to entertainers, fund-raisers, and top-level donors.  Justifying the ongoing fiasco, the Bush "Administration" distinguished itself from its predecessor asserting all guests were "family members" and "close friends".  Isn't that special?  What in hell were they to Bill Clinton?

The "President" of the United States does not carefully choose his allies.  In fact, expediency rules in the Bush camp.  … Especially during the war on terror.  Egregious case in point?  Pakistani President General Perves Musharraf.  This outrageous excuse for a statesman seized power back in October 1999 in a bloodless coup.  Conveniently fixed an election last April, granting himself a five-year stint in office.  Not satisfied, on Aug. 21 he enacted 29 amendments to the Pakistani Constitution essentially crowning himself dictator.  Where is the outrage of Mr. Bush and his fascist henchmen?  … Considering doing the same here, Mr. "President"?  Why not finish the job, George?  After all, you've successfully managed to eviscerate the Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, and Eighth Amendments to the Constitution.

Dear Fire Department Supporter,

Generous support of your Fire Department assures that we are there when you need us with the right equipment and training.  We all think of our Fire Department when we think of fire, but your Department is also equipped to provide emergency support in other areas ranging from responding to hazardous material spills to removal of the injured in auto accidents.  A recent training exercise used the 'jaws of life' to provide entry to a severely damaged vehicle.

Your Fire Department is currently staffed by 14 volunteers who are on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week.  These members have jobs, family lives, social and civic responsibilities, and yet they manage to quickly respond to calls for aid regardless of time, day or night.  Your Firefighters need safe and effective equipment and training to continue to meet the expanding needs of our community.  Community population has increased by more than 54% between 1990 and 2000, and by another 16% between 2000 and 2002.

Through your support, and grant funding from LCRA, we have replaced our 1967 Pumper Truck with a much more capable 1987 Pierce Pumper.  We have also modified two surplus military vehicles to maintain and expand our brush truck inventory.  While we have upgraded our main Tanker in the last few years, our smaller 1969 Tanker is not reliable and requires replacement.

Our current planning includes replacing the old tanker, upgrading and expanding our breathing apparatus (for use in structure firefighting), and the addition of defibrillator capability.  Once again, we are requesting your assistance in meeting the needs of your Fire Department.  As always, we appreciate your contributions!

JUST THINK!  What if you had a fire and no one came?  We also have need of a few good people who are willing to help out their community.  We meet the first & third Thursdays of each month at 7:00 PM at the Fire Barn on Hwy 261.

FIRE DEPARTMENT BUILDING BURGLARIZED

Sometime between 10 PM Tuesday night, 5/21/02 and Thursday, 2 PM, 5/23/02 the fire station was broken into and over $4000 of equipment was taken.  If anyone has any information regarding this incident, please contact the Buchanan Fire Department, 793-9085 or contact the Sheriff's office in Llano.

As strongly asserted in the last 69 editions, gut-wrenching fear generated by the Narcotics Enforcement Team is quite impressive. After all, these Nazi stormtroopers not only outrageously intimidate defendants and their gutless attorneys, but even innocent third parties who have suffered at their corrupt and abusive hands.

Recently, a source came forward with allegations regarding the death of a loved one under exceptionally curious circumstances. Sadly, the survivor got cold feet.

Most pointedly and quite publicly, how in hell do you expect these abuses to end if you don't have the guts to stand up and expose them to the light of day?

Every time a source cowardly runs the other way, the corrupt and abusive sons of bitches win. Every g-ddamned time. Worse yet, another nail is driven into the coffin of liberty.

If you don't have the courage to stand up and do the right thing, why should this writer continue to place himself in physical and legal jeopardy trying to expose the outrageous corruption and abuse?
