Since assuming office after a bruising confirmation hearing, U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft declared and aggressively waged war on the Bill of Rights, eviscerating the Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, and Eighth Amendments not only through the Patriot Act, but administrative fiat as well.  This outrageous Nazi has now targeted defense attorneys.  In a glaring attempt to deny criminal defendants competent counsel, Ashcroft orchestrated the indictment of civil rights attorney Lynne Stewart along with three other individuals including her client, Sheik Omar Abdel-Rahman.

Readers will recall the Sheik had been convicted earlier in 1995 for his participation in a conspiracy to bomb New York City landmarks.  Prosecutors have charged Stewart violated a court order precluding any disclosure of substance of conversations she had with her client during a media interview in 2000.  Who the hell is any "judge" to abrogate First Amendment rights of anyone, including counsel?

Should send a chill up the spine of defense attorneys as well as all citizens believing in the Sixth Amendment right to competent legal representation.  Has already rattled the cage of attorney Ron Kuby.  Kuby was Rahman's lawyer before Stewart became counsel.  Spoke highly of her as "a dedicated, brilliant zealous advocate for her client, exactly the type of lawyer anyone would want if they were in trouble."  … That's the point, friends.  All defendants whether guilty or innocent deserve the very best counsel.   Abridged, the United States becomes no better than Nazi Germany or the Soviet Union.

When that right is denied by a fascist "President", Nazi U.S. Attorney General, and an outrageously indifferent Congress through passage of the "Patriot Act", the adversary system of justice is destroyed.  What's left is nothing more than kangaroo in nature.  Precisely what the Nazi element in the United States desperately wants and effectively imposed.

This blatant act of intimidation by Ashcroft and his fellow fascists in the "Justice" Department has not been lost on Mr. Kuby who had no difficulty describing his reaction: "shocked, horrified and wondering if I was next. ... This is an attempt to intimidate the attorneys who are willing to stand up and challenge what John Ashcroft is doing to the Constitution."  That's right, sir.  Nazism has overtaken the United States.  Sieg Heil.

Remember Yaser Esam Hamdi, 22, an American citizen "detained" in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and recently moved to a Navy brig in Norfolk about a week ago?  The "Justice" Department has announced he will not be prosecuted since government goons lack sufficient evidence.  … Who'd a 'thunk' it, no?  Has he been released as required by the United States Constitution?  Hell, no.  The Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, and Eighth Amendments have been eviscerated by the recently passed "Patriot" Act.  The United States no longer observes habeas corpus and is considering sending an American citizen to Saudia Arabia, apparently hoping the Saudis will try him for something.  Anything.

That's right.  The "President" and his henchmen facilitated the payment of $300,000 in private funds to the Philippino Sayyaf terrorist rebel group to release Martin and Gracia Burnham.  The couple has not been released, however.  Duh.  … Did the jackass occupying the White House truly expect it?  While the United States will not negotiate with terrorists, apparently it is more than willing to pay 'em off.  'Ain't' hypocrisy grand?

"Don't do as I do, do as I say."  The hypocritical mantra of millions of parents in the United States.  -- And of the U.S. government itself.  … Particularly, when it comes to legalized murder such as executions, wanton and unnecessary killing by officers, extraordinary brutality by government goons as occurred in Waco during the initial assault of the Karesh compound by ATF thugs, etc..  The list could go on and on.

Latest hypocrisy?  Relentless skewering of Arafat for promotion of terrorism.  Ole' George "The Tush" Bush and his henchmen conveniently forget the U.S. has engaged repeatedly in terrorist practices of its own.  Examples?  Saturation bombing of Nazi Germany, nuclear obliteration of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and the death of 100,000 killed in Tokyo, Mar. 10, 1945 when B-29s dropped 1,665 tons of napalm.  Readers should thoroughly understand no criticism is directed against these actions.  The U.S. did precisely the right thing during the Second World War.  It was, however, terrorism.  -- The deliberate killing of innocent civilians.  Non-combatants.

Other less glaring examples come to mind.  Particularly, the My Lai massacre perpetrated by American troops in March 1968.  Interestingly, deliberate killing of innocent civilians occurs constantly during any conflict, yet is conveniently ignored.  When it is the prime method of warfare, conveniently and hypocritically, it suddenly becomes a moral issue for disingenuously outraged parties.  What Arafat and the Palestinians have done regarding the employment of terrorist tactics is no different nor any worse than that employed by Israel during its 52 year existence as a state.   Israeli atrocities, however, have been persistently and conveniently ignored.  For years.  Deliberate murders of innocent civilians. Yet, no one has been held accountable.  No one.

It's time for all such tactics to end.  By both sides.  Now.  If not, all foreign aid and assistance to the area should end.   Let combatants settle their differences with no foreign interference.  -- With stones and spears if necessary.  Especially since all seem so intent on killing one another.  Certainly suspect, however, Israeli recalcitrance would quickly end, denied billions in U.S. aid and the latest weaponry.  Without both, its citizens vastly outnumbered by the Arab community, would be quickly and literally bled dry by their enemies.

A battle is brewing over the nomination of Texas Supreme Court "Justice" Priscilla Owen to the United States Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit.  Ms. Owen has a well-earned reputation for legislating her extreme Right Wing views from the bench.  Precisely why the jackass occupying the White House badly wants this fascist appointed to the federal judiciary.

"Her Majesty" apparently does not believe a woman owns her uterus, nor has the right to do with it as she damn well pleases.  A man "morally" embracing such a viewpoint is no more than Aryan arrogant.  A woman doing so, however, exquisitely displays a remarkable level of aggressive stupidity since she willfully eviscerates her liberty and that of her sisters.  The fascist, however, has no regard for liberty, just top-down structure and rigidity.  Precisely why Owen is grossly unqualified.

White House Counsel Alberto R. Gonzales has strongly defended Ms. Owen, however.  Not particularly surprising since Gonzales is a team player extremely loyal to Die Fuhrer.  Hypocritical though, since he skewered Owen when both were fellow "Justices".  The disagreement came at the time a then new parental notification abortion law was the subject of a case in which Owen was in dissent.  Gonzales accused her and those in support as an example of "an unconscionable act of judicial activism."  Precisely what the jackass occupying the White House has repeatedly crowed he doesn't want.  Interesting, isn't it?

Being extremely anti-choice, Owen will come under heavy fire.  National Abortion Rights Action League President Kate Michelman strongly asserted:  "We regard her as someone who exemplifies the most extreme hostility to reproductive rights of any of the nominees that President Bush has named."  No question, Ms. Michelman.  Precisely why this fascist's appointment must be stopped.  Otherwise, she'll fervently legislate her perversely narrow religious views from the federal bench.  -- As she has already done at the state level.

The Bill of Rights stood tall in an American court recently.  The Colorado Supreme Court overturned a Denver district judge who ordered a bookstore to release the identity of an individual who bought two books on drug manufacturing.  Tattered Cover Book Store owner Joyce Meskis refused to cooperate, citing First Amendment rights of the purchaser.  She's right.  Surprisingly, the justices backed her.  Pointedly, what right does any government goon have to determine what a citizen reads?  Under ANY circumstances.  Should the court had ruled otherwise, what would have been next?

Readers will recall Vanessa Leggett was unconstitutionally jailed five months for refusing to turn over documents demanded by a grand jury subpoena.  … In glaring violation of First Amendment rights guaranteed to journalists.  Her courageous refusal to cave into a fascist prosecutor, however, has resulted in the prestigious PEN First Amendment Award and a $25,000 prize.  Good for her.  About time.  Should have been awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for standing up to Nazism.

In another glaring attempt to implement a fascist police state, U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft on April 11 ordered federal police agencies and the "Justice" Department to coordinate and share information with state and local law enforcement.  The convenient excuse given for the directive was prevention of terrorism.  In reality, the federal government has facilitated further harassment and false incarceration of innocent people.

Ole' George "The Tush" is petrified his "Administration" will be robbed at election time should the economy falter.  … Like Daddy's was.  Remember?  Specifically fears the recent 25 cent a gallon increase in the price of gasoline over the last few weeks and effect it will have on the public and its spending habits.  Tough, isn't it?  Disingenuous as well for two reasons.

First, Mr. Bush is directly responsible for the increase, having given a green light to the energy industry through deliberate stacking of the Energy Commission and promotion of an agenda glaringly beneficial to Big Oil.   … Not particularly surprising since both the "Chief Executive" and "Slick" Dick Cheney made their fortunes in the industry and remain beholden to their cronies.  A clever Executive Order certainly provided aid and comfort as well.  Certainly, didn't hurt.

Second, the "President" has done absolutely nothing to improve the Middle East conflict.  Nothing.  In fact, quite the opposite.  His publicly announced goal of removing Sadam and resulting facilitation of installation of a puppet more amenable to American interests and manipulation has directly resulted in skyrocketing oil prices.  In response to current Israeli barbarism in Palestine, the Iraqi dictator has announced Iraq will supposedly export no crude for thirty days.

While such action by a brutal thug is glaringly hypocritical, should other oil-producing states follow suit, the sky's the limit.  When and if it happens, think the "President" and his henchmen will remain in the heart and soul of voters on the day of reckoning?

The "President's" glaring impotence in the Middle East conflict apparently is beginning to sorely chafe the "Chief Executive".  Not surprisingly and as a consequence to a hand's-off "Administration" policy since being installed in office, neither principal is heeding his call to back off.  Imagine that.  Ole' George is not a happy camper, pitifully and petulantly whining during a political junket to Knoxville, Tenn. on April 8:  "I repeat: I meant what I said about withdrawal without delay.  Now, I mean what I say when I call upon the Arab world to strongly condemn and act against terrorist activities."  Tough, isn't it?  Sad as well.  … Why not stamp your feet for effect, George?

Later in the week after continued Israeli intransigence, however, the "President" and his henchmen reversed themselves once again.  Have also refused to use $3 billion in yearly financial aid as a club.  ... Who'd a 'thunk' it, no?  The "Administration" has also neglected to condemn atrocities committed by barbaric Israeli goons over the last two weeks.  Not surprising, however.  After all, Ole' George "The Tush" is beholden to the Israeli lobby here and conveniently talks out both sides of his mouth while the madness continues.

Former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed senators and congressmen on Capitol Hill April 10 strongly asserting: "There is no political solution to terror. You have to defeat terror militarily in order to have a political process. Yasser Arafat's terrorist regime must be toppled, not courted."  Sadly, Mr. Natanyahu does not comprehend terror has in fact become the political process in the Middle East.  Why?  Precisely because the Israelis have stooped to the same level as their enemies.  While tactics do not include suicide bombing, they are no less brutal and without question target innocent civilians.

Palestinian homes are ransacked, destroyed.  Hundreds have been killed in the last two weeks alone.  Others beaten.  Israelis will not allow media to see bodies of the dead and refuse access to areas where their soldiers continue to kill, maim, and plunder.  If there was nothing to hide, reporters would be unhindered.  Sadly, a people so terribly mistreated by the Nazis during the Second World War are in turn wantonly victimizing innocent Palestinians.  Netanyahu calls for the toppling of Arafat.  Who does he expect to take his place?  How about a militant from Hamas, Islamic Jihad, or Hezbollah?  Think it won't happen?

Netanyahu does not believe in an independent Palestinian state: "I do not accept the word 'Palestinian state.'"  He wants continued Israeli oversight.  Should such thinking prevail, Israel will eventually be destroyed.  Through bloodsucking terrorist bombers.  Citizen by citizen.  Despite the ferocious military assault over the last two weeks, a bomber was able to penetrate deeply into Israel and wantonly kill.  No, Mr. Netanyahu, there is no military solution.  You will be bled dry.  Sadly, Israeli by Israeli.  -- By the overwhelming number of Arabs hell-bent on overthrowing their barbaric oppressors.  Fierce resistance in house-to-house fighting, by their own admission, surprised the Israelis.  A portend of things to come if there is no peaceful settlement.

The World Court Treaty has been ratified.  An International Criminal Court will go into business July 1 and be in full operation next year in The Hague.  War crimes will be its jurisdiction.  The "President" of the United States is strongly opposed and is considering unsigning the Treaty.  Rightfully so.  This U.N. sponsored tribunal is a threat to U.S. sovereignty and can be used against American citizens and soldiers.  Former President Clinton must have had his head securely up a bodily orifice seldom seeing the light of day when he unwisely signed the agreement several years ago.  Sadly, American courts have grown outrageously fascist.  The last thing this country needs is one more sponsored by the United Nations.  Interestingly, some of the first criminals tried there may be Israelis accused of war crimes.  For years, Arabs have rightfully attempted to get Israeli Prime Minister Sharon and his cronies tried for atrocities committed during the Israeli invasion of Lebanon some twenty years ago.

April 8 marked a day the Fascist Right would rather conveniently ignore, -- while hypocritically getting down on their knees every Sunday and professing love for the Lord.   Arizona inmate Ray Krone was the 100th individual falsely convicted of a crime punishable by execution to be freed since 1973.  --Released after DNA evidence exonerated him.  Ever wonder how many have wrongfully been murdered by the state in the name of the people?  Even care?  Cost of "justice", no?  Small price to pay in the view of the "Religious" Right. What's a few innocent killed here or there?  As these fascists would phonily whine:  "Put it in God's hands."  … Provided it's not a loved one, no?   Sieg Heil.

Once again, the "President" is desperate to impose his "religious" views.  Has called for a total ban on cloning.  That's right.  A total ban.  Not just reproductive cloning.  Had the "Chief Executive" demanded statutes precluding bringing a cloned implanted embryo to term, there would have been little to no disagreement.  This fascist, however, is demanding an end to somatic cell nuclear transfer.  No more cloned animals.  Furthermore, no more therapeutic cloning, including stem cell research.  The jackass occupying the White House apparently could care less such research might cure and/or alleviate human suffering.  … Can't have that, right, George?

Why so rigid and strident in opposition?  Simple.  He considers an unimplanted embryo a "baby".  Precisely why no cloning research will be permitted, -- if he gets his way.  The "President" has conveniently distorted the purpose and means of therapeutic cloning, disingenuously opining a society supposedly "in which human beings are grown for spare body parts and children are engineered to custom specifications -- and that's not acceptable."

In therapeutic cloning, "human beings" are NOT "grown for spare body parts".  Clearly, not what therapeutic cloning is about.  No child will be brought into the world simply to have his or her body parts harvested after birth.  Pure Nazi propaganda.  Apparently, Ole' George has no comprehension of stem cell research, techniques, or its goals.  None.  To link therapeutic to reproductive cloning is dishonest and disingenuous.  Certainly, not one and the same.

Apparently, the fascist is incapable of perceiving the difference.  Then again, the Right conveniently sees only black and white.  No gray.  Nor shades of brilliant color.  Too rigid and anally retentive.  The "President's" feigned indignation is amusing: "As we seek to improve human life, we must always preserve human dignity.  And therefore we must prevent human cloning by stopping it before it starts."  … Preservation of "human dignity" like you demonstrated as Governor of Texas mimicking Carla Faye Tucker shortly before you and your cronies legally murdered her?  Presiding over execution after execution?  At least some of whom were innocent, murdered in the name of the people by the state, Mr. "President"?   The "Christian" thing to do, right, George?

Republican Sen. Specter had it right, declaring: "Ideology has no place when it comes to medical science. There have been attempts by government to stifle science. Galileo was imprisoned because he followed Copernicus who said the world was not flat."  That's right, Senator.  Sadly, the "Religious" Right apparently has little to no respect for science, insisting "Creationism" be taught as "science".

Even the Catholic Church years ago embraced evolution, teaching the "soul" was introduced into the human animal at some point by the Creator.  -- Preferring to interpret Genesis figuratively rather than literally.  To the outrage of the "Religious" Right.  … Some of whom still believing in the stoning of adulterers, prostitututes, and gays as called for by the sick puppy who wrote Leviticus.

According to Citizens Against Government Waste, both political parties earmarked $20.1 billion in pork last fall.  … That's billion with a "b".   Nothing quite like "patriotism" and unabashed war-profiteering.  Readers should not forget the jackass occupying the White House signed the legislation, -- despite strongly claiming to be a "conservative".   Sieg Heil, Mein Fuhrer.

Dangerously threatening liberty, law enforcement thugs are using the "Patriot" Act to bombard the telecommunications industry with a geometrically escalating barrage of subpoenas seeking financial information, customer photographs, individual computer-use routing patterns, credit reports, and subscriber lists.  As readers will recall, the "President" signed this outrageously unconstitutional legislation, enthusiastically supported by both political parties.  Legislation, decimating the Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, and Eighth Amendments.  … While an aggressively stupid public stood by and did nothing.  Absolutely nothing.  Now, the chickens are finally coming home to roost as liberty is seriously threatened by the Fascist Right.

Companies complain much of it is nothing more than a fishing expedition by law enforcement seeking to see how far it can go.  -- Intimidating and implying these firms are "unpatriotic" should they not quickly respond to all requests.  … Requests for information often not submitted by subpoena.  Privacy rights are continually eviscerated by corporate willingness to sell out customers when pressured by government goons.  Had they any guts, they would be quickly and aggressively telling these abusive thugs where to put their requests.  Friends, you're being sold out by government and cowardly greedy business. Your silence is not golden.  It IS the problem.  Should the assault on liberty continue unabated, a revolution will become inevitable.

As welfare reform gears up again in Washington, propaganda from GOP congressmen regarding supposed benefits of welfare reform to date is stunning.  Clear distortion of reality, -- as these greedy fascists laugh their portly asses off all the way to the bank.  Rep. J.C. Watts, R-Okla. haughtily asserted:  "We've given them the means to climb the ladder of economic opportunity.''   Is that right, Congressman?  … A minimum wage, or a dollar or two an hour more, with no healthcare or other benefits your definition of the American dream?  Particularly, as you greedily line your pockets, J.C.?  -- Take a few too many shots to the head during your football-playing days, Congressman?

In a recent Washington Times editorial dated April 10, California Republican Rep. Wally Herger crowed:  " Here's a simple quiz: What government program: (1) measures success by how few people collect benefits; (2) promotes work and personal responsibility; (3) is supported by politicians on the left, center, and right; and (4) has saved taxpayers billions of dollars?  Impossible? A miracle? Actually, it's welfare reform."

With all due respect Congressman, kindly remove your head from your ass and smell the coffee.  Medicaid is bankrupt throughout the country.  Why?  Many forced from welfare are not earning enough to pay for healthcare.  Wake up, friends.  Unlike politicians on the government teat, the impoverished are not off public assistance because suddenly they've found a work ethic and decently paying jobs with healthcare.  They're off welfare because both major political parties, along with former President Clinton, passed legislation in 1996 making it extremely difficult to seek and attain aid, -- regardless of desperate need.  Any one purporting different is lying, -- to himself or others.

Readers are reminded fascists like Watts receive the best in healthcare, retire from office with pensions providing more in income and benefits than they received while in office.  Interestingly, most who entered office as paupers retire as multi-millionaires.  Ever wonder why?  … Or are you too aggressively stupid to even think that far?

As strongly asserted in the last 50 editions, gut-wrenching fear generated by the Narcotics Enforcement Team is quite impressive. After all, these Nazi stormtroopers not only outrageously intimidate defendants and their gutless attorneys, but even innocent third parties who have suffered at their corrupt and abusive hands.

Recently, a source came forward with allegations regarding the death of a loved one under exceptionally curious circumstances. Sadly, the survivor got cold feet.

Most pointedly and quite publicly, how in hell do you expect these abuses to end if you don't have the guts to stand up and expose them to the light of day?

Every time a source cowardly runs the other way, the corrupt and abusive sons of bitches win. Every g-ddamned time. Worse yet, another nail is driven into the coffin of liberty.

If you don't have the courage to stand up and do the right thing, why should this writer continue to place himself in physical and legal jeopardy trying to expose the outrageous corruption and abuse?
