From Maxpages To Stormpages And Finally Now, To This New Commercial Site.
Kindly Be Patient As Llanoledger.Com Is Created And This Fledgling Webmaster
Not-So-Humbly Climbs The Learning Curve. ... Hopefully, Quickly.
That's right. Move over Llano County. You have some not-so-honorable company. Indeed, free speech has been abridged in Burnet County. County officials, in response to a letter of complaint from this publication sent to "His Majesty" County Judge Martin McLain, ejected this writer from the Burnet County Library System. ... Who'd a' 'thunk' it, no? Still nothing in writing from County Attorney Robert Klaeger.
Three Ledger Maxpages and Stormpages websites were fraudulently deleted five times a little over a month ago. The prime suspect is a Burnet County Deputy who has unlimited access to Burnet County Library System machines. Has had access for quite some time now. This writer was aware and wondered how long this apparently glaringly corrupt and abusive officer would sit on his heels.
With no resources, always willing to offer myself as bait, however. Surprised it took this individual quite as long as it did. He has ties to Llano County and was formerly an officer there. Interestingly, the hacking occurred soon after this publication recently skewered Llano County "Judge" J.P. Dodgen and his handling of the taxpayer boondoggle affectionately known as the Llano County Law Enforcement Center.
Having stonewalled since shortly after the hacking attacks, Burnet County Librarian Paula Harris and Herman Brown Librarian Cookie Wallace finally broke their silence on March 5 at the time this writer was ejected. Both women now strongly assert the officer is not guilty and that library IP addresses were allegedly spoofed by one of my many enemies. Apparently, these women are either regurgitating the "company line" or indeed have bought the officer's BS.
This writer has consulted with a software engineer intimately involved with network routers. This individual has strongly asserted spoofing would be extremely difficult if not impossible. This writer has spent some time looking into IP address spoofing, and from a check of the research, it is clear network personnel have come a long way in protecting from such attacks. Making it highly unlikely anyone other than the officer committed the crimes. More importantly, the officer had the means, motive, and access. Indeed, any jackass with authorized access past the security software could easily illegally install key-sniffing software and steal passwords. It is far more likely this Deputy committed the crimes than anyone else. By orders of magnitude. Regardless of his guilt or innocence, his authorized intimate access to public computers raises serious ethical questions.
Despite the criminal and civil liability issues involved,
this writer prior to the ejection wanted no more than to eventually expose
the culprit on the website and see to it he is removed from a position
allowing access to library computers. It was not to be. Not
surprisingly, County officials have staunchly stood by this apparently
glaringly corrupt and abusive officer. Consequently, a criminal complaint
will be filed with federal authorities after this publication completes
its investigation. At that time, all relevant material will be posted
on this website. For further information, be sure to click on the

Edition.
The GOP is desperately trying to save the "President"
embarrassment from a judicial nomination about to go down in flames.
Tough, isn't it? Amusingly, Utah Republican Sen. Orrin G. Hatch has
his shorts tied in a knot regarding the failing nomination of a Right Wing
fascist named Judge Charles W. Pickering to a federal appeals court.
Democrats have dug in their heels and there appears no way this individual
will be confirmed. Mr. Hatch has crowed Pickering is the victim of
a "lynching" by special interest and civil rights groups. ... Hey,
Orrin? Wake up. The tired old Right Wing extremism has to go.
Think a vote delay of an extra week is going to make a difference?
Do the honorable thing, and insist his name be withdrawn from consideration.
Finally, the Bush "Administration" is doing the right thing. Surprisingly, it excoriated Israel for the latest attacks resulting in the death of scores of Palestinians. State Department spokesman Richard Boucher strongly stated "above all, civilians should not be targeted." That's right, Mr. Boucher. What took you so long? How many more will be wantonly killed by Israeli thugs before the "Administration" withdraws aid?
Boucher went on to say: "We strongly oppose the
Israeli policy of targeted killing that has led to the death of many innocent
civilians...It's important for the Israelis to think hard about their policies,
think through the consequences of things like going into heavily populated
areas with heavy military force - because those consequences can be tragic."
It's time for more than talk. How long will the "President" wait?
Amazing how the Right conveniently uses euphemisms, isn't
it? Apparently, the "conservative" element strongly believes womens'
rights to be no more than "social engineering". Interesting, no?
Fascists are all aglow the Pentagon has decided to severely limit the 34-member
Defense Advisory Committee on Women in the Services (DACOWITS). All
22 Clinton appointees got the boot. Imagine that. The panel
will now concentrate on "readiness" issues after the "President" plants
his shills. Ole' George, despite the hypocrisy and assurances to
the contrary, could care less about issues and rights important to women.
Too bad. Certainly something the Democrats should heavily capitalize
on in coming elections. Abortion and reproductive rights are not
the only womens' issues at stake as has once again been made clear by the
latest Pentagon action.
Mighty generous of the "President", no? Seems the
question regarding compensation for public service jobs for welfare recipients
unable to find employment in the private sector has been resolved by the
jackass occupying the White House and his henchmen. Interesting,
isn't it? Apparently, Ole' George, despite his unlimited "generosity",
doesn't seem to understand the minimum wage is far from a liveable one
and precisely why most people who wind up on welfare do so. While
there are indeed many jobs available at minimum wage or a buck or two an
hour over that, most do not include healthcare insurance. Precisely
why Medicaid and hospitals are in serious financial trouble across the
nation. Should current policy prevail, it's only a matter of time
before socialized medicine sadly becomes a reality. Too bad.
When it comes to corrupt and abusive police officers,
there is no justice. Case in point? A federal appeals court
overturned the verdict of one of New York's "finest", Charles Schwarz.
Schwarz took part in the torture of Abner Louima. Readers will remember
Mr. Louima had a broken broomstick rammed into his rectum in a New York
police station. The former officer and piece of human excrement was
released on bail. He had been convicted of obstruction of justice.
Why wasn't he convicted of attempted murder? Why should he have been?
After all we protect and coddle abusive officers in the United States and
elevate them to hallowed status, -- especially after the September 11 catastrophe.
The ACLU and New York Center For Constitutional
Rights filed a lawsuit on behalf of some 326 detainees still incarcerated
for interrogation as part of a "Justice" Department investigation of terrorism.
Most of these people are held in New Jersey jails. There has been
no habeas corpus and both rights groups are suing for a ban on secret court
proceedings. ... Stunning a lawsuit has to be filed to stop tactics
earlier employed by Nazi Germany, isn't it? Then again, with fascists
securely occupying the White House and "Justice" Department, it comes as
no surprise.
While it is not unusual nor unwarranted for the Bush "Administration"
to set up a shadow government in the mountains after the September 11 catastrophe,
the fact Ole' George did his best to hide the fact is highly disturbing.
Not only from the people, but apparently from Congress as well. Mr.
Bush and his henchmen have been obsessed with secrecy since stealing the
election and being ensconced in power. Frightening. Certainly
not in the best interests of liberty. Fortunately, the "Administration"
lost the battle on release of "Slick" Dick Cheney's energy commission records.
... Certainly a victory for the people's right to know. -- And a
figurative slap upside the head of the fascist occupying the White House.
That's right. U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft wants
federal law changed to allow the creation of a DNA database for detained
Al Qaeda and Taliban fighters. ... Hey, Johnny? Who's next?
The American public? Friends, as sure as the sun rises in the east
each morning, it is only a matter of time before fascists in government
seek the same for all American citizens. Only a matter of time.
Castle Coalition is a new group formed to fight eminent
domain abuses. Federal and state constitutions clearly indicate private
property cannot be seized by government for private use. Yet, this
happens constantly. Government seizes property and transfers it to
other more favorable business or private ownership. According to
senior attorneys Dana Berliner and Scott Bullock of the Institute for Justice,
this happens all the time. Most victimized property owners do not
have financial resources and cannot fight the injustice. Clearly,
another example of the rise of fascism in this country. Working definition
of fascism for new readers? An abusive and dangerous oligarchy based
on a pernicious blend of government, big business, and religion.
... A boot-heel cynically placed on the throat of the masses, justified
in principle by perversion and bastardization of religion.
Maryland resident Joseph Charles Schultz, 20, was mistakenly
shot in the face by an FBI agent who was looking for a bank robber in Pasadena
on March 1. The federal thug fired his weapon after ordering Schultz
and his girlfriend to put their hands up after being stopped on the highway.
Protective of the officer, the FBI refused to release his identity.
Be interesting, how government goons handle this one, no?
Be sure to click on Klee's Kaleidoscope for Harvey Klee's latest edition. This publication is a forum for a diversity of viewpoints. All are encouraged to submit material.
As strongly asserted in the last 45 editions, gut-wrenching fear generated by the Narcotics Enforcement Team is quite impressive. After all, these Nazi stormtroopers not only outrageously intimidate defendants and their gutless attorneys, but even innocent third parties who have suffered at their corrupt and abusive hands.
Recently, a source came forward with allegations regarding the death of a loved one under exceptionally curious circumstances. Sadly, the survivor got cold feet.
Most pointedly and quite publicly, how in hell do you expect these abuses to end if you don't have the guts to stand up and expose them to the light of day?
Every time a source cowardly runs the other way, the corrupt and abusive sons of bitches win. Every g-ddamned time. Worse yet, another nail is driven into the coffin of liberty.
If you don't have the courage to stand up and do the right thing, why should this writer continue to place himself in physical and legal jeopardy trying to expose the outrageous corruption and abuse?
