Regarding five criminal hacking attacks on Llano Ledger websites over three years ago, all initial evidence pointed directly at Burnet County Deputy Bill Featherston.  After nearly two years of tireless effort and at least four additional attacks on the new Liberty In Peril site, it became clear Featherston did not commit the crimes.

Amusingly, however, the Burnet County Judge, Sheriff, County Attorney, as well as the District Attorney apparently thought he did.  Precisely, why no criminal investigation was conducted.  Also, no response was ever received from any of these officials to written complaints submitted at the time.

Kindly understand the significance, readers.  A felony complaint was made against one of their officers.  Yet, no response.  No investigation.  Nothing.  Had an investigation been conducted, however, it would have been a golden opportunity for these outstandingly corrupt officials to discredit this writer, -- who genuinely believed, through strong circumstantial evidence, the Deputy was indeed responsible.

If, in fact, these officials did not have the technical expertise and/or resources to properly investigate, they should have so advised this writer.  Instead, they chose to stonewall, apparently believing Featherston was guilty, -- and had done them a favor.  Nothing quite like corruption, is there?

Turns out, however, this writer was betrayed by a close friend.  The following correspondence is self-explanatory and will provide insight into precisely what happened and how.

With private funding pending, seriously considering re-starting this publication shortly,
-- despite nagging medical problems.  At the very least, have to correct the record regarding Featherston.  Although an "officer" with a colorful history indeed possessing an amusing inability to tell the truth in even the most mundane of matters, turns out he did not hack the sites.  -- A Cisco engineer named Mick Henniger did.

The following letters include correspondence sent to businesses, neighbors, Henniger himself, culminating three years of effort to nail a most perverse and wily criminal.  Another was sent much earlier to Henniger's employer, Cisco Systems Inc. CEO John Chambers.  Another was sent to Buchanan Volunteer Fire Department Chief Marion Ward.  -- Henniger had served as Board President of the Department.  Still yet another was sent to Henniger's pastor, Doug Lindley, Kingsland First Baptist Church.

Additional relevant correspondence has also been posted so readers can determine for themselves just how convoluted, corrupt, and abusive local officials have become and continue to be.  -- Self-serving criminal bastards who have deliberately ignored their oaths of office and the best interests of their constituents.

Re:  Terroristic Threat Report-Richard Grayum; Criminal Hacking-Mick Henniger

Dear Sheriff:

On August 4, this writer, on state right of way, received a terroristic threat from an individual driving a red-maroon Ford E-150 van, Texas D8BHZ, parked on Water Ridge Development Corporation property on Hwy 261.  This thug also drives a cherry-red 1931 Chevy, Texas 483DDN.

Can you confirm the driver is indeed Richard Grayum of Hummingbird St., Buchanan Dam?  While thumbing several years ago, this writer received a ride from this very same individual who claimed to be a former Secret Service Agent assigned to the presidential security detail.

He was immediately given a business card at that time and informed corrupt and abusive officials at all levels of government, including law enforcement, were routinely figuratively targeted and exposed on the Llano Ledger website.

Additionally, the driver was quickly informed “President” Bush was indeed the most frequent, figurative “target” of all on the site.  Particularly excoriated, -- with gusto.  When asked to identify himself, the supposed former agent gutlessly declined.

Shortly before an unrelated fire in which this writer was injured, the individual just described repeatedly visited the Exxon on Hwy 261 in Buchanan Dam and made disparaging remarks, cowardly behind this writer’s back.  … Telling anyone who would listen this writer is an anarchist who cannot be trusted.  Imagine that.

This exceptionally cowardly individual, however, never had the guts to confront this writer directly.  -- Precisely, why he was dismissed as mentally unstable at the very least.  … At worst, a loose cannon that wisely got the boot from superiors.  While federal agents may indeed be goons, they are professional.  This lunatic was, and is, clearly not.  The unstable thug even perversely chortled he is Water Ridge Development Corporation.  Again, imagine that.

Specific circumstances leading up to, and including, the terroristic threat are as follows:

On Saturday, July 16, 2005, this writer fortuitously ran into the supposed former agent at the office of Water Ridge Development Corporation at the intersection of 261 and 29 in Buchanan Dam.  -- Had gone there looking for a possible place to park a motorhome in return for security services rendered.

Not immediately recognizing the individual, however, this writer asked if he was indeed the developer.  He ludicrously and insanely replied he was Water Ridge Development Corporation.  Nonetheless, identity and pressing business were quickly disclosed, and the individual, although not immediately recognizing this writer, recalled my name.

He further advised: “You should ‘pull up’ your file in Washington.”  That it is, in fact, quite extensive.  Quickly replied, however, it was truly impressive the government had such resources to waste, and is, as supposedly interested as it apparently was, in this writer.

The thug claimed he had received a complaint regarding this writer and the website.  When pressed to disclose the identity of the individual supposedly responsible for the complaint, he declined.  -- Apparently, the goon had forgotten he had indeed received a business card from this writer several years earlier.

The thug went on to haughtily pronounce this writer had indeed been determined by federal goons not to be a threat to the “President.”  Again, imagine that.  … What a relief, no?

Asked what he said his name was, he Aryan arrogantly replied he had not.  “There was no need.”  When this writer informed him he would be identified, he responded: “Get your ass out of here.”  I replied, “Would be glad to.”

Off corporate property riding a bicycle, he followed this writer in his vehicle, passing, turning around, re-passing.  Each time, I smiled and waved to the lunatic.  In fact, continue to do so each time I see him on the road.

Finally, however, got a break in the case on August 4 on the way to pick up the mail.  At about 3 PM that day this writer stopped on state right of way at the entrance of one of the Water Ridge lakeside circles and was able to finally get the plate number off his red-maroon E150 van: Texas D8BHZ.  Was able to do so without trespassing.

The driver was several hundred yards away and screamed obscenities as I left.  Called me an anarchist and made the following terroristic threat:  “We’ll burn you out next time.”  Wanted me to return and fight.  On the way back from the post office, I waved to the thug.

As you know, he recently ran unsuccessfully for constable in Precinct 2.  … Indeed, the “best” this County has to offer to replace Moore?  Have never knowingly met Grayum, though.  Nor have I seen a picture of him.  As you also know, however, he has quite a poor reputation around the County, especially here in Buchanan Dam.

His wife, an attorney, has filed junk lawsuits against local citizens.  He instigated quite a firestorm regarding finances of the Red Barn, a community gathering facility.  Remember?  In addition and according to a source, he threatened the Exxon owner to go to authorities regarding alleged store violations, -- and was subsequently barred from the business.

Although the investigation by this publication has only begun, clearly, “Water Ridge Development Corporation” has problems following the law on even the most basic of issues.  Months ago, it illegally began construction without proper permits, -- bulldozing and removing trees, riprap, altering waterfront, etc..

Pink violation notices were posted on the property by the County, after the first phase of construction was done.  … Construction that took weeks to complete.  Interesting, isn’t it?

Signs on state right of way were ordered removed, not only at the development site, but on 1431 in Kingsland, -- six miles away.  Apparently, Grayum and his cronies do whatever they want, whenever they want.

A Native American couple recently angrily claimed Llano County authorities authorized the bulldozing of a tree containing an empty eagles’ nest on Water Ridge Development Corporation property, -- despite the fact eagles return to the same nest each year if left undisturbed.   Did the County indeed grant permission?  Were federal authorities consulted?

Sheriff, can you confirm Mr. Grayum is indeed a retired Secret Service Agent as he claims?  Or is this goon a liar?  Since there is no physical proof or witnesses to his terroristic threat, however, no criminal complaint will be signed by this writer against him.  Why bother?

As a law-abiding and civic-minded citizen, however, it is nonetheless a civic duty to report a terroristic threat, since it is highly likely the thug may eventually wantonly kill.  … Precisely, why this writer wasted precious time, money, and effort to craft and send this letter.

While this writer can protect himself, the public is at risk and must be protected from an outrageously unstable lunatic who claims to be a former federal agent.  What better way than public exposure?  They certainly will be informed regardless of the personal cost upon re-launch of this publication.  At that time, Mr. Grayum will be invited to comment and/or sue. Without question, he mistakenly crossed the wrong party this time, and will be publicly exposed for the thug he truly is.

In addition, a complaint will soon be filed with the U.S. Attorney against then Cisco engineer, Mick Henniger, who hacked Llano Ledger and Liberty In Peril websites at least nine times.  … Conveniently spoofing a Herman Brown library IP address, foolishly casting false suspicion on a Burnet County Deputy moonlighting there.  As you also know, these crimes were deliberately ignored by Burnet County authorities including Sheriff Pollock as well as the District Attorney.  Interesting, isn’t it, Sheriff?

Without question, the engineer is responsible for the crimes.  What is not clear, however, is whether there was involvement by Burnet and/or Llano County authorities.  There is, however, the strong possibility he may have received special treatment and material consideration from Llano County officials in return for his efforts.

Interestingly, the hacker and his wife apparently partitioned and gifted Burnet and Llano County community property to shield assets from exposure, should he be prosecuted and/or sued for his crimes.  (Partitioning & gifting documents, dated Feb. 18, 2004 by Martin & Millican, posted Mar. 5, 2004, Llano County Clerk's Office)  … Certainly, not the mark of an innocent man, is it, Sheriff?

Regardless, the hacker’s crimes have been aggressively reported to his employer, pastor, neighbors, business associates, etc..  While public disclosure has indeed been costly financially and professionally to him, he has yet to provide any restitution or accept criminal responsibility.  … Then again, with his colorful history, one can certainly understand his profound reticence.

Since this matter has not been settled privately, however, there is no choice but to file a complaint with the U.S. Attorney.  The recent terroristic threat from the thug claiming to be a former Secret Service Agent will also be reported to federal authorities at that time.  In addition to the fact both the Burnet and Llano County Library Systems have booted this writer off public computers for publishing highly unflattering material regarding outrageously corrupt and abusive local officials, -- in direct violation of the First Amendment and free speech.

Thirty-third Judicial District law enforcement and the District Attorney are incapable of properly investigating these crimes.  Not only is there serious dereliction of duty in regard to ignored, reported crimes committed by the hacker and his foolish implication of a Burnet County Deputy, there is also the distinct possibility the involvement of government authorities in these crimes may have gone much, much further.

Precisely, why there is absolute need for a truly independent investigation.  The Texas Rangers, however, are no credible option.  After all, they refused to investigate a complaint made by this writer quite some time ago, resulting from your actions in the Dave Hepler fiasco.  Remember, Sheriff?

On the night Mr. Hepler received a terroristic threat from one of his neighbors and asked this writer to contact your office for assistance, your response was to perversely stick your hands in my pockets after arriving on the scene.  … Nothing quite like hands-on “policing,” right?

… Actions you conveniently claimed not to have remembered, but promised to “check out,” during my interview of you several years ago.  Remember?  Saddest of all?  The late perpetrator of the terroristic threat to Mr. Hepler was conveniently not prosecuted by our outrageously self-serving County Attorney.  Again, imagine that.

Returning to the inefficacy of the Rangers and worse, Texas Ranger Joey Gordon found no evidence of a jail-rape in the Tina Wisdom case, -- despite the fact federal jurors unanimously agreed that a rape had indeed occurred in the Llano County Jail.  Interesting, isn’t it?

… But awarded no cash damages due to sovereign immunity statutes that conveniently protected and coddled the outrageously corrupt and abusive bastards who ran the jail.  Amusingly, one of them was even subsequently rewarded for his loyalty, and appointed Chief Jailer.  Reverse Darwinism, no?

It is highly unlikely federal investigators and prosecutors will be as easily intimidated and terrorized as Tina Wisdom lead attorney Iris J. Jones clearly was.  … Nor will they be bought off, as may also have happened.  Even with a federal investigation of more recent County activities, it is highly likely absolutely nothing will come of it.  After all, County officials will do as they’ve always done: lie like hell, and stick together like crap.

Might be interesting, however, to see what pops its ugly head after all stones are overturned should there be a federal investigation, no?  No question, Henniger would likely spill his guts to federal investigators and prosecutors if aggressively investigated and cornered.  After all, he has “baggage” and family interests to consider, doesn’t he?

While this writer has absolutely no faith or trust in any level of government or law enforcement, crimes have indeed been perpetrated and must be reported to someone in authority.  -- For whatever the hell it’s worth.  Upon hearing from the U.S. Attorney, the decision will then be made whether or not to civilly sue all offending parties, including Grayum.

Would at the very least bring unwanted attention, wouldn’t it?  Convenient access to records and other evidence through discovery as well.  Would also result in tremendous expense for those sued, -- with no risk to this writer.  … After all the injured party with no assets, remember?  Moreover, honest law-abiding citizens don’t live in fear of corrupt and abusive law enforcement, government officials, and others.  Regardless of personal cost.

Since it is likely nothing will be done by federal authorities regarding matters addressed in this letter, all germane correspondence will at the very least be immediately posted on the Liberty In Peril website upon re-launch.  The public, indeed, has the right to know.

This time, however, the site will remain up.  Hosted by a server outside jurisdiction of corrupt and abusive federal, state, and county authorities.  … This writer, more than willing to rot in jail, or worse, for contempt of court or any other trumped up “crime,” -- for no more than reporting the truth.  In Nazi America.

Sincerely,

Re:  Mick Henniger-332 Boulder Drive, Buchanan Dam Listing

May 7, 2005

Dear Mr. Aylor:

As of January when Llano County Clerk records were last reviewed, Mr. Henniger was sole proprietor of your recently posted 332 Boulder Drive listing.

As described, however, in enclosed recent letters to his attorneys and another related to his last listing realtor and property offered, the Henniger couple apparently engaged in fraudulent activity, including asset partitioning and gifting to protect assets against exposure.
-- Should Mr. Henniger wind up prosecuted and/or sued for criminal hacking activities directed against this writer over the last three years.

Mr. Henniger cowardly fled to Hawaii to elude responsibility for his crimes.  Also, there is the strong possibility his criminal activity here may have been in behalf of local authorities, desperate to silence this publication.  No question, however, he's been protected by the District Attorney and other local officials.  Interestingly, may have even received special consideration from Llano County Sheriff Nathan Garrett while applying for a permit for a fully-automatic M-16.

When the real estate in question was earlier listed with Jesse James, his Boulder Dr. property, tower, and network were offered to prospective buyers.  Should this network remain intact as designed by Mr. Henniger, there is the strong possibility he may have intentionally left the system accessible to criminal intrusion after sale of the property.

If so, at any time he could easily illegally access personal information on any network-connected hard drives belonging to new residents.  Ethically, you should disclose this possibility to prospective buyers, or at the very least, determine, without doubt, the remaining system is indeed secure.  Should the property sell, this writer will certainly immediately inform buyers of his earlier criminal activity.

Apparently despite dozens of letters to earlier associates, it hasn't yet dawned on Mr. Henniger this is just the beginning of his exposure as a white-collar criminal, -- to friends, previously uninformed associates, extended family members, new neighbors, church family, etc..

The list can, and will, go on.  Continue unabated until he accepts responsibility, and provides financial restitution for his crimes.  After all, people closest to this sad, sick soul are entitled to protect themselves from his criminal wiles.

Worst of all and sadly, if he doesn't pay dearly this time for his crimes, he'll do it again to some other innocent party, -- as he's done before.  … No question, a sad, perverse waste of exceptionally brilliant engineering talent.

Re: Jill & Mick Henniger-Fraudulent Asset Partitioning & Gifting

January 13, 2005

Dear Counselor:

Generously given benefit of the doubt, you may have been duped into inadvertently aiding and abetting criminal activity of two of your clients, Jill & Mick Henniger.

Mick Henniger, an exceptionally cunning white-collar criminal, has been protected and coddled by local authorities.  Burnet and Llano County officials, as well as the District Attorney, are aware Mr. Henniger engaged in criminal hacking activities from January of 2002 until at least March of 2003, and may have directly aided and abetted him.  … This publication has published extremely unflattering material excoriating local authorities, including the DA, since 1999.

Without question, this exceptionally gifted, perversely ill engineer betrayed this writer, hacking into three Llano Ledger websites a total of five times almost three years ago.  In addition, the publication, now called Liberty In Peril, was hacked an additional four times shortly after launch in 2003.  Without question.  Gutlessly, Mr. Henniger fled to Hawaii to avoid responsibility for his crimes.

Apparently, your clients have partitioned and gifted community property to shield assets from exposure, should Mr. Henniger be prosecuted and/or sued for his crimes.  (Partitioning & gifting documents, dated Feb. 18, 2004 by Martin & Millican, posted Mar. 5, 2004, Llano County Clerk's Office)

Touching, isn't it?  … A spouse, -- generously ceding 1/2 interest in Burnet and Llano County properties to the other.  Isn't that special?  Be interesting to learn the true quid pro quo.  … Or what was craftily hidden.  Additional digging both here and out of state strongly indicated, wouldn't you think?  Might just discover hidden assets and determine current marital status, no?  … According to the District Clerk, they haven't divorced in Llano County.  Interesting, isn't it?

Happily married or not, Mrs. Henniger may have become involved in her husband's cowardly criminal activities.  This writer has held off taking legal action against both with the rapidly diminishing hope Mr. Henniger would finally come to his senses, resolve the matter, and provide restitution.  A waste of time.  Instead, he has apparently fraudulently taken action to shield assets, aided and abetted by his wife.  … Who'd 'a 'thunk' it?  … 'Ain't' life grand?

In view of this development, more than adequate time allotted Mr. Henniger to accept responsibility and provide amends, and the pressing issue of statute of limitations, there is little point to delay any longer.

While no decision has been made to sue, shortly it will be time to file a criminal complaint with the U.S. Attorney.  … Not only against Henniger, but local officials as well.  Sadly, the possibility of fraudulent asset partitioning and gifting by the Hennigers to shield assets will also be brought to the attention of federal prosecutors.

… Despite strong threats by Mr. Henniger to take legal action, his former Boulder Dr. neighbors, pastor, employer, etc. were nonetheless informed of his crimes.  So will his neighbors in Hawaii, -- and anywhere else he chooses to reside.  Upon re-launch, all documents and correspondence will be published on the website and Henniger will be invited to comment and/or sue.  After all, the public must be protected from the wiles of this immensely gifted, perversely ill, white-collar thug and predator.

… Sadly, a highly gifted criminal who cowardly places himself, and his own best interests ahead of his children.  … Apparently, betting or hoping the U.S. Attorney is as corrupt as the District Attorney and other local authorities.  Or can be bought.  Be interesting to see, no?

Re: Boulder Dr. Henniger Listing

December 28, 2004

Dear Ms. Martin:

As stated in earlier correspondence to Mr. James, dated May 3, 2004, Mick Henniger criminally used his computer network located at both his Lyons St. and Boulder Dr. estates to hack into Llano Ledger and Liberty In Peril websites.

Your voice mail ad #8600 offers his Boulder Dr. property, tower, and network to prospective buyers.  Should this network remain intact as designed by Mr. Henniger, there is the strong possibility he may have intentionally left the system accessible to criminal intrusion after sale of the property.

If so, at any time he could easily illegally access personal information on any network-connected hard drives belonging to new residents.  Ethically, you should disclose this possibility to prospective buyers, or at the very least, determine without doubt the remaining system is indeed secure.

Mr. Henniger has fled to Hawaii to escape responsibility for his crimes.  For the sake of his family, this writer has not, to date, filed a criminal complaint with the U.S. Attorney, and has given him every opportunity to resolve the matter and provide restitution.

Sadly, he has not done so.  With statute of limitations quickly becoming an issue, a criminal complaint will have to be filed to force the matter.  Should his Boulder Dr. estate finally sell, this writer will immediately inform the buyers of the criminal activity that had occurred on the local network, and will advise them of the possibility of further intrusion.

… As his former Boulder Dr. neighbors, pastor, employer, etc. were informed of his crimes, so will his neighbors in Hawaii, -- and anywhere else he chooses to reside.  After all, the public must be protected from the wiles of this immensely gifted, perversely ill, white-collar thug and predator.  … Sadly, an individual who cowardly places himself, and his own best interests ahead of his family's.

Re: Criminal Site Deletions

Aloha Mr. Henniger:

Exceptionally kind of your daughter's boyfriend to graciously confirm your hurried return to Hawaii.  Especially curious though, since we have unfinished business.  -- Warmly identified myself, however, and asked him to tell your daughter I said hello.

Apparently, you haven't informed her of your criminal activity, -- or she neglected to inform him.  Regardless, did you really think a quick but gutless return to paradise would enable you to escape responsibility for your crimes?

Apparently, your daughter is picking up the mail.  A convenient, unwitting accomplice?  If not informed of your crimes, shouldn't she be?  … Be more than willing to forward all earlier related correspondence regarding your criminal activity to her for her perusal, -- if you'd like.

Interestingly, Buchanan Dam Postmistress Glenda Gavin isn't a particularly happy camper either, and clearly irritated the mail isn't being properly forwarded. -- No room for storage in a relatively small post office, you understand.  Why be so damned inconsiderate and unaccommodating?  Why hide?

Equally amusing, makes you look guilty as hell, -- and/or hopelessly erratic, sir.  Not to worry, though.  Have carefully kept Ms. Gavin apprised of all efforts to expose you for the criminal you truly are.  Sorry, however, she has been needlessly placed in the middle of this ongoing fiasco, and recently told her so.  Also, have profound sympathy for your family, -- who is already undeservedly suffering as a result of your recent crimes.

Again, do you naïvely think an ineffective, transparent, but clumsy, effort to elude responsibility will prevent your criminal past from following you, -- no matter where you reside or work?  With no equitable settlement, do you really believe this writer will ever give up?  Amusingly, do you intend to move every time I finally locate you?  Isn't it a bit expensive and inconvenient even for a perversely ill multi-millionaire?  Should this letter be returned, however, you will be found.  Only a matter of time and effort.

While it is not yet clear whether the U.S. Attorney will prosecute or civil suit filed, your criminal past will follow you my dearest "friend."  In fact no matter where you run, this writer strongly considers it a civic duty of profoundest importance to expose you to your neighbors, employer, civic organizations, church groups, financial institutions, credit agencies, local police agencies, Chambers of Commerce, etc..

Why should anyone in the future have to suffer from your perversely irrational temper and criminal use of exceptional engineering talents?  After all, the criminal behavior will likely be repeated since you refuse to take any personal responsibility and remain unwilling to make amends, provide full restitution for your crimes.

Also as asserted in earlier correspondence, when Liberty In Peril returns to publication, all correspondence will be posted on the website.  … Better hire a battery of lawyers, my most gifted and gracious "friend."  Should they successfully bribe a "judge", however, the site will be moved to another server in a new jurisdiction, or overseas if necessary.

Regardless, more than willing to rot in jail on a phony contempt of court charge to expose you for the gutless criminal you truly are.  Small, small price to pay, moreover an honor, Mick.  After all, not the first computer crime you've engaged in, is it, sir?  The public must be protected.

While certainly no crime to publish the truth, protected speech and the First Amendment are sadly under attack in our formerly great nation.  Too bad.  After all, we do have the best government, politicians, "judges", and bureaucrats, money can buy.  Despite whether or not civil suit is filed or there is a criminal prosecution, however, you will continue to be publicly exposed for what you are.  Regardless, of any and all personal consequences.

The only nagging question remaining is whether or not you acted alone or at the behest of officials, -- received any material assistance or financial consideration from them for your illicit activity.  Only a truly independent criminal prosecution has a snowball's chance of determining the truth.  Possibly, if not probably, not even then.

Be interesting to see though, no?  … As well as, whether the U.S. Attorney is as corrupt as local prosecutors.  Directly due to the apparently endless stonewalling and staunch unwillingness to settle this matter, we're quickly approaching the point where a criminal complaint will have to be filed with the U.S. Attorney, regardless.  Mistakenly thought you were a hell of a lot smarter than that.  Apparently, not.  … Or is it merely, -- gutless, gut-wrenching, paralyzing fear?

As strongly asserted during our earlier in-person conversation of January 18, 2004, I've "got you", Mick.  … The proverbial "goods", that is.  One way or the other and sadly, you're figuratively "going down", lawfully of course.  How hard, depends only on you, my dearest "friend."  Legally, you stand to lose all you have.  … Terribly sad, and grossly unwarranted.  -- What a tragic waste of such incredible talent.

… Worst and above all, without question, the sadly impending possibility of unwanted, unintended, collateral damage to your family, delayed as long as possible by this writer, the victim of your crimes.  You can't win this, my dearest "friend," -- only lose more than you already have.  Wake up, Mick.  Before it's too late.

Re:  Mickey R. Henniger, Engineer, Cisco Systems, Inc.

April 27, 2003

Dear Mr. Chambers:

Spent nearly 15 months tracking a hacker responsible for at least nine criminal deletions of Llano Ledger websites, dating back to the end of January 2002.  Earlier, had reason to believe the culprit was a Burnet County Deputy named Featherston.

After months of effort and relentless pressure, however, sadly discovered this writer had been royally, perversely, and criminally betrayed by an exceptionally gifted Cisco employee who provided Internet access for well over a year.  -- One of your brightest router engineers, Mick Henniger.

Mr. Henniger not only provided Internet access, he "generously" paid for The Ledger commercial website.  … Exquisitely ironic, isn't it? Learned an enormous amount regarding network technology from him in the last several years, however.  Although a genius, has an enormous problem managing anger.  … Hard to believe his extraordinarily proficient hacking activities suddenly began at age 40, though, isn't it?

Was first exposed to his pathological temper after meeting three or four years ago, when selling acreage on Roselea Drive.  Wouldn't accept his offer for the land, -- and he consequently threatened to sue for supposed breach of "verbal" contract.  … Laughingly, told him to knock himself out trying.  Absolute bull.

Interestingly, Mr. Henniger used Cisco email to express his profound displeasure.  Although surprised at the message, mistakenly dismissed what turned out to be unmanageable anger to exceptional business aggressiveness.  … Indeed an admirable quality when not seriously pathological.

Strangely, we became friends for three reasons, however.  First, this writer was the only person who ever dealt scrupulously honestly with him, -- by his admission.  Totally upfront with the land sale.  Had to be.  Had to make sure there was enough cash to leave the area, while indicating to anyone interested in the property that it was imperative I find my co-owner ex and satisfy her financially, -- for the deal to fly.

Second, we both have a keen interest in electrical and electronic engineering.  Shared an interest in ham radio, as well.  Third, while certainly not agreeing with everything published in The Ledger, he supported in principle my efforts of aggressively exposing corruption.

A year ago January and without my knowledge or permission, however, Henniger purchased the llanoledger.com domain name and paid for the website account, -- strangely and inexplicably placing all documentation in his name.  … One Sunday evening after helping repartitioning my computer hard drive, he suddenly and unexpectedly presented the paperwork to me.

While taken aback by the unauthorized gesture, it was still an apparent act of generosity.  While the new commercial site was set up immediately that evening, the understanding was the other Ledger sites would indeed remain in existence and be updated as usual, -- until I decided whether or not to continue with the donated commercial site.

… There were several reasons why the commercial site was not as advantageous as one might immediately think.  First, FTP software and access to the FTP server were absolutely necessary to service the new site.  In other words, this writer wouldn't be able to update the commercial website on library computers.

…  Had previously accessed the Internet on public machines, -- before finally getting the boot out of both the Llano and Burnet County Library Systems for publishing material highly unflattering to local officials. -- Clearly, still no First Amendment in effect in either county to this very day.  ….Without question, our gutless corrupt officials don't have the constitutional right to infringe protected speech on a public computer.  Yet, they do.  With impunity.

Second, a commercial website was not as advantageous as might be initially thought, since (being unfunded), I'd have to pay for the site and domain name after the first year.  … Previously, had free sites.  Again more importantly, those sites were also easily serviceable from any computer on the Internet.  Didn't require special software and were quickly updated using Explorer.

At any rate and apparently, this writer's reluctance to use the new site angered dear ole' Mick.  Decided to expedite matters, -- his way.  Soon after the new commercial website was up and running, five criminal deletions of three Ledger websites occurred over a period of several days at the end of January, beginning of February 2002.

To make an extremely long and complicated highly technical story short and reasonably understandable, the gifted engineer "spoofed" the Herman Brown Library IP address.  Creatively, made site deletions look like they originated elsewhere, -- not their true source.  -- His computers.  Interestingly, both here and California.

… An extremely difficult and seemingly impossible task even a year ago.  The technology had supposedly been perfected to make such criminal activity exceptionally difficult if not impossible to execute without being caught.  Interestingly and amusingly, Mr. Henniger, himself, had assured me this was true.

The last site deletion back then, however, occurred on a Sunday afternoon while the library was closed.  … Intentionally or not, pointing suspicion at a Burnet County Deputy who had been moonlighting there as a computer technician.

-- May indeed have been nothing more than a stupid mistake or oversight on the hacker's part, since dear ole' Mick repeatedly attempted to draw suspicion away from the Deputy by blaming this writer for the deletions.  … Respectfully understand I had been successfully maintaining several websites for three years prior to the hacking attacks.  --  Without inadvertently deleting any of them.  With canned site software, in fact, it is exceptionally difficult to do so unintentionally.

The corrupt and abusive District Attorney, Burnet County Sheriff, and County Attorney apparently believed the Deputy had indeed committed the crimes.  Precisely, why there was no investigation or prosecution.  Maddeningly comical, isn't it?  … Seldom, if ever, do they go after their own.  Regardless, the hacker had done them a favor.  Stuck it to the relentlessly determined writer who had continuously stuck it to them for the last several years.

-- Turn around, fair play, no? … Made no difference, however, to the corrupt DA and Burnet County Attorney this writer was operating within the law and the hacker was not.  Why should it?  Both lying dolts are as corrupt, abusive, and inept as the day is long.  … Amusingly, ensured the public was made aware of it on the website, -- repeatedly.

At any rate, was suspicious of Mick right from the beginning.  … Everything pointed to the Deputy, not the engineer, however.  It did disturb this writer greatly, though, Henniger ludicrously initially blamed me for the deletions and, more importantly, showed no interest in tracking the hacker.  … Usually, a gifted engineer wants to nail such a criminal.  -- Loves the challenge.  Also, nearly all, -- if not all, computer professionals absolutely detest hackers.  Not so, dear ole' Mick, though.

Henniger always had a reasonably credible explanation, however.  Had a $125K job with Cisco.  Became a multimillionaire from stock options, had a family to consider, lot to lose financially, etc..   When confronted repeatedly with suspicions by email, always had a plausible reason, explanation.  Still felt uncomfortable, but had no hard evidence.  Certainly, nothing to figuratively clobber him with.

While the story is indeed too complicated and lengthy to completely describe even in a long letter, suffice it to say this writer kept enormous pressure on Henniger well over a year.  Most of it by email, -- to provide a date and time stamp.  Interestingly, his responses grew increasingly erratic and those of a criminal cornered.  … Or didn't respond at all.

… He knew this writer was growing more and more knowledgeable of the extremely sophisticated technology.  … And the indisputable fact he had become the focus of suspicion and a figurative target.  Also disturbed him I was electronically nosing around the network, i.e. "pinging" other IP addresses.  -- After earlier asking him for detailed information regarding the network.

More importantly, have extremely strong reason to believe he had earlier installed key-sniffing software on the network and illegally intercepted all traffic coming from this writer's computer whenever online.  Arrogantly, admitted the possibility he could install such capability when we discussed lack of Internet privacy at time of launch of the commercial website.

Also attacked the firewall on this writer's machine, repeatedly.  Successfully stole passwords to all websites and mail accounts by intercepting traffic on the network.  Put up with this continuous nonsense to buy additional time to nail him.  While callous infringement of privacy by someone who is supposed to be a "friend" is outrageous, there was no other way to trap the rat.  Government was certainly not going to do it.

He self-servingly and indirectly (ignored email) refused to renew the ledger.com domain name back in January when it expired.  … After earlier lying about trying to transfer ownership.  Foolishly, apparently thought it would conveniently force this writer to give up and move out of the area, eliminating his (hacker's) legal exposure.  To his chagrin, set up another free site, however, changing the name of The Ledger to Liberty In Peril.  -- Had intended to do so whether or not the old domain name was renewed.

Amusingly, Henniger promptly hacked the Liberty In Peril site after the password was changed.  -- A password he had not been privy to.  … Apparently, had to proficiently demonstrate he could technically do anything he wanted.  Hacked the site at least three additional times this writer is aware of.  Comically, to the point of deleting all personal data on the server.

When that failed to discourage repeated uploading of the site by this writer, Ole' Mick apparently either hacked registration software on the server, or more likely, may have altered "expires=0" code in the cache.  … Didn't think at the time to reboot my machine to determine which.

Regardless and amusingly, Henniger had creatively managed to make it temporarily impossible to re-register and upload the site.  … Until the next day.  His technical prowess was and is truly magnificent,  something to behold.  -- Worth at least an order of magnitude more than he's compensated.  … A whiz kid who apparently never grew up.

Managed to get some support from techs at the server, but nowhere near enough.  -- Needed access to weblogs to prove origin of the attacks.  Ludicrously asserted it was too much work.  … Think investigators for the U.S. Attorney might be so easily impeded?

Got the boot offline, however, before the issue could be forced and fully resolved.  Amusingly, kept aggressively and annoyingly putting the site back online every time dear ole' Mick deleted it, -- before ultimately getting the boot.  Indeed comical, how remarkably easy it was to rattle his cage.  … Who'd 'a 'thunk' it, no?

Interestingly, Henniger renewed the ledger.com domain name and commercial site within minutes of illegally intercepting one of this writer's last messages to the server tech.  -- Had told the tech in the email I was about to finally file a criminal complaint with the U.S. Attorney, including everything I had managed to collect over the last year.  Remarkably fortuitous timing, isn't it?

Mr. Chambers, thought you should be aware the hacker committed crimes on company time and used company email to handle private business.  The engineer is fully aware through email I intend to cost the hacker his job, will do all I can to see he is criminally prosecuted, and relieved of remaining assets through endless civil litigation.

Certainly believe unmanageable anger is root cause of Henniger's hacking activity.   -- While extremely gifted technically, couldn't hold his own in debate.  Either in-person, or by email.  Really infuriated him.  … Sadly, a most ungraceful loser.  -- With so much to lose through uncontrollable blind rage.

In addition to unmanageable anger, Mr. Henniger is remarkably insecure, --  lethally fueling a pathological inability to control an explosive temper.  Combined with exquisitely developed passive-aggressiveness, ole' Mick can certainly inflict enormous damage through outrageously improper criminal use of his exceptional engineering talents.  Ludicrously and foolishly thinks everyone around him is stupid.  Including police investigators.

Unless this hacking activity is permanently stopped, however, other innocent parties will succumb to his irrational wrath.  While certainly couldn't care less if ever ultimately financially compensated for damages, -- unless there is indeed a steep price paid for criminal behavior by the hacker, it will continue unabated.  … Precisely, why this writer cannot simply walk away.

Sadly, Mr. Henniger has been exquisitely successful wasting more than a year of this writer's professional time.  … Effort unnecessarily expended in determinedly trapping a perversely convoluted 41-year-old mentally ill hacker, -- who most interestingly turned out to be someone who was supposed to be a friend.  The profound sense of betrayal is enormous.  … Something one could reasonably expect from an enemy, certainly not a "friend."

While quite sure you can easily access all Cisco email, thought I'd include some of the last correspondence between Henniger and myself.  -- Should certainly provide some interesting reading.

A complaint against the hacker, including all technical data I've managed to gather over the last year, is currently being compiled and will be filed shortly with the U.S. Attorney.  Although having been recently seriously injured in a fire that heavily damaged my motorhome, will certainly remain in the Buchanan Dam area until this criminal hacking matter is fully resolved and will indefinitely be reachable at the P.O. Box listed below.

Despite a terrible betrayal from someone who was supposed to be a friend, you should understand this writer has deliberately given Mr. Henniger more than ample time to rectify the wrong for personal reasons.  … Have delayed pulling the figurative legal trigger, i.e. filing a complaint with the U.S. Attorney as well as civil suits, for one reason and one reason only.  -- The devastating effect it would have on his family members, truly innocent victims of his outrageously criminal behavior.

… Unquestionably, exceptionally fine people who undoubtedly would suffer immeasurably.  -- People who have indeed treated this writer extremely well.  Again, honestly and candidly, it is unintended collateral damage to innocent parties that is directly responsible for delay of litigation as well as complete reporting of this entire fiasco on the website.

Hopefully, Mr. Henniger will reconsider his outrageously juvenile criminal behavior and finally come to his senses.  -- Before it's indeed too late.  … Sadly, his criminal activities over the last year are certainly indicative of a terrible waste of extraordinary talent.

Sincerely,

Mick,

Isn't it interesting the U.S. Attorney nailed the kid
who recently hacked into college school records in
Austin?  Took the prosecutor only days to secure an
indictment and bag the student.

The same sick puppy I've been dealing with over the
last year has once again hacked the Liberty In Peril
site.  Interesting, isn't it?  Even managed to alter
the Signup Page so Category and Site Description no
longer work properly.

Managed to again delete the FTP server as well.  Hat's
off to the crafty mentally ill bastard.  Apparently,
has quite a problem controlling his sick anger and
juvenile temper.  Unless I knew better, would truly
swear it was a spoiled kid wreaking all the havoc.

Really appreciate his boldness, -- or more accurately
childish aggressive stupidity, however.  Amusingly
thinks he's too damned good to get caught.  Hope he
keeps it up, though.  More evidence to eventually
shove up his not-so-enlightened ass.

... Will take great pleasure in eventually seeing he
loses his job, investments, real estate, etc. after
criminal proceedings and a civil lawsuit.  ... Amazing
how someone so gifted could be so stupid and
shortsighted, isn't it?  Will also take great pleasure
in eventually exposing him on the website for the sick
puppy he truly is.  Then again, there's no end to the
entertainment in life, is there?

Mick,

Considering seriousness of circumstances in their
entirety, and severity of current ongoing hacking
activity of site, mail, firewall, etc., couldn't
easily fathom the kind gesture, -- or particularly its
strange timing.  Certainly, could and should have come
back in January for it to have been effective.

Finally decided, however, to use the reactivated site
as a redirect, -- if the bastards at 1000RPM will
indeed allow it, considering the earlier heated
exchange.  Will set it up shortly, probably tomorrow.

-- Still not clear yet how all this will be resolved.
Be interesting to see, no? Well over a year of effort
to nail a hacker, I no longer believe to be
Featherston. Under survival conditions and at great
personal cost and hardship.

... One thing for goddamned sure, I intend to be
extremely well compensated for this outrageous waste
of time and invasion of privacy.  Intend to sue the
living shit out of the offender. The only way to make
sure the bastard does not do it to someone else.
--Regardless of whether or not the criminal is
prosecuted.

Mick,

Amusingly, history is apparently repeating itself.  ... Never a
dull moment.  The enclosed was sent to Support.  ... If it is a
hacker and not problems with the host server, maybe I'll finally
catch the sorry son of a bitch.  :)

Dear Sir or Madam:

Three times over the last two weeks, the new website has been deleted.
Three times it has been restored without any problems.  The last
two deletions were sometime yesterday and then again today.

Since I have received no email from Support, can only assume the
site has been hacked.  Can you check your weblog and determine all
activity on this site, please? Dates, times, IP addresses, and whether
or not password access was used to execute the deletions?  ... Change
of password has apparently had no affect.  Thanks for your time and trouble.

Re:  1) April 14th Fire; 2) Mick Henniger

Dear Mr. Ward:

Please accept my belated thanks for your assistance and that of the Fire Department during the April 14, 2003 fire at my motorhome, parked behind the Exxon.  Medical recovery has indeed been prolonged and I am in the process of refurbishing the Pace Arrow.

The cause of the fire was a defective Coleman gasoline appliance.  Although damage to the interior was in fact extensive, the brunt was absorbed by the parts cabinets, electronic equipment, etc. the motorhome was overloaded with prior to the catastrophe.  With minimal water damage due to the skill displayed by you and the other firefighter, however, the decision was made to re-build since the Pace Arrow only had 34,000 miles on it and was in mint condition before the incident.

The Red Cross was a nightmare to deal with, however, but did provide some building materials and minimal labor assistance before pulling out, -- with the job less than half done.  Certainly, did not honor its promises and did nothing without being pushed on nearly a daily basis.  Will certainly eventually publish this exceptionally sad story in its entirety.  People indeed have the right to know there is no longer any safety net in this country.

Have residual problems with both hands and constant fatigue.  Have managed, however, to nearly finish construction.  … A task that should have taken approximately 80 hours after abandonment by the Red Cross, -- that has now stretched into three months and counting.  … Then again the tortoise did beat the hare, no?  ?

While a response time of 15 minutes was painfully long, certainly do understand since the Department is volunteer and underfunded.  Have always published Department notices received in the mail and offered your predecessors free advertising.  The offer still stands.

Mick Henniger in the past informed this writer of his intimate involvement with the Department as President of the Board.  If, however, he is still in office, serious consideration of the enclosed letter to Cisco Systems, Inc. CEO John Chambers should be made.

Mr. Henniger betrayed this writer, hacking into three Llano Ledger websites a total of five times approximately a year and nine months ago.  In addition, the publication, now called Liberty In Peril, was hacked an additional four times several weeks prior to the fire.  -- After which, the highly gifted engineer withdrew Internet access to this writer.  … Access, which he had "generously" provided since just before the original attacks.  Interesting, no?

Henniger skillfully made the first series of attacks look like they originated from the Herman Brown Library in Burnet.  -- Where a Burnet County Deputy named Bill Featherston conveniently moonlights as a computer tech.  Complaints made at the time to the Burnet County Sheriff, County Judge, County Attorney, and District Attorney were ignored.  Apparently, they believed the officer had indeed committed the crimes and, after all, had done them a favor.  -- Nothing quite like corruption, no?

Kindly understand, Mr. Ward, the significance.  Local authorities conveniently and gutlessly ignored a felony complaint made against one of their officers.  Yet, no investigation.  Absolutely, no response to my correspondence.  Not even a denial.  As you may know, this publication targets corrupt and abusive government officials, as well as the Fascist Right.  Endearing this writer to nearly everyone, no?

Sadly, the hacking issue has not been settled.  My publication has incurred financial losses as a result of Henniger's activity, as well as the last year and nine months wasted professionally and personally trying to nail this pathetically sick criminal, -- and sad excuse for a human being who perversely and in a highly convoluted manner betrayed a friend.  Certainly, expect to be extremely well-compensated financially for the losses.

Amusingly, thought early on Featherston did not have the intellectual wherewithal to successfully execute such crimes, -- despite the fact all evidence initially pointed to him.  No longer does.  There is no doubt Henniger is the perpetrator.  Took well over a year to determine this.

Furthermore, to confirm months of effort, deliberately and severely rattled the engineer's cage shortly after the Liberty In Peril site was constructed.  He foolishly took the bait, repeatedly taking the site down, stupidly leaving a trail.  Even foolishly and unlawfully intercepted a carefully crafted email exchange with a server tech.  Although taking a considerable amount of additional time and effort due to the fire and medical problems after the hacker's most recent criminal online activity earlier this spring, there is no doubt Henniger is the perpetrator of both series of attacks.

With private funding pending, seriously considering re-starting this publication shortly, -- despite nagging medical problems.  At the very least, have to correct the record regarding Featherston.  Although an "officer" with a colorful history indeed possessing an amusing inability to tell the truth in even the most mundane of matters, he did not hack the sites.  Henniger did.

There is also a matter of the criminal implications resulting.  Kindly understand a complaint has not yet been filed against Henniger with the U.S. Attorney, nor a civil suit, due to the collateral damage that would occur to the engineer's family.

-- People, who have treated this writer extremely well and do not deserve to be punished in any way for Henniger's exceptionally sick criminal behavior.  Seems dear ole' Mick has problems controlling grossly irrational anger.  Should this matter not be settled before the statute of limitations expires on the first series of attacks, however, a complaint will be filed with the U.S. Attorney.

Again, thanks, for the skill and concern displayed by you and the Department during the fire.  Deeply grateful.

Sincerely,

Re:  Criminal Behavior-Mick Henniger, Cisco Systems, Inc.

Dear Pastor:

As you may recall, we met approximately a year and a half ago when you and your family were residing at Mr. Henniger's Lyons St. estate.  At the time, I was getting online both at the Lyon's and Boulder Dr. locations, as Mick saw fit.  Sadly, Henniger is not what he appears to be, however.

If he is still a member of your church, therefore, serious consideration of the enclosed letter to Cisco Systems, Inc. CEO John Chambers should be made.

Henniger betrayed this writer, hacking into three Llano Ledger websites a total of five times approximately a year and ten months ago.  In addition, the publication, now called Liberty In Peril, was hacked an additional four times shortly after launch.  -- After which, the highly gifted engineer withdrew Internet access to this writer.  … Access, which he had "generously" provided since just before the original attacks.  Fascinating, isn't it?

Dear ole' Mick skillfully made the first series of attacks look like they originated from the Herman Brown Library in Burnet.

Kindly understand, Pastor, the significance. :)

While there is indeed no doubt now Mick is responsible for the hacking, it is not clear yet whether his criminal activity is the result of a sick mind, -- or whether it was done at the behest of local authorities.  Disturbingly, Henniger may have received special treatment from Llano County Sheriff Nathan Garrett regarding a permit for a fully automatic M-16 assault rifle.  … Foolishly, the wayward engineer complained to this writer of the length of time it supposedly took Garrett to grant the permit.

While the above may be only coincidental, it should be carefully considered and viewed in context of the following circumstances:  Our corrupt and abusive Sheriff has repeatedly been targeted by this publication over the last five years.  Sadly, the equally targeted corrupt and abusive District Attorney Sam Oatman conveniently dismissed a jail-rape indictment years ago to protect Garrett's gluteus maximus.  … And the good ole' boys who run and own the jail.

While it is not clear whether or not this writer will be granted access to Henniger's permit application via the Public Information Act, the U.S. Attorney will certainly have no problems doing the same as part of a criminal investigation.

-- This matter regarding the permit certainly needs to be carefully explored since this writer was deliberately denied First Amendment rights as a result of receiving the boot from both the Burnet and Llano County Library Systems.  … In a naked attempt by local officials to control publication content and blistering criticism.  It is not yet clear whether or not Henniger may have been operating at the behest of Llano and/or Burnet County officials.  If not, he's just a mentally ill puppy.  If part of a larger group, any officials involved must be exposed.

Sadly, the hacking issue has not been settled.  My publication has incurred financial losses as a result of Henniger's criminal activity, as well as the last year and ten months wasted professionally and personally trying to nail this pathetically sick criminal, -- and sad excuse for a human being.  -- Who perversely and in a highly convoluted manner betrayed a friend.  … Although certainly no Christ, a modern day Judas.

Regardless, expect to be extremely well-compensated financially for the losses, however.  -- A year and ten months, and counting, wasted professionally trying to nail this exceptionally wily white collar criminal.  While Henniger stands to lose all he has if prosecuted and sued civilly, this writer does not wish his family to suffer unduly for his outrageously sick criminal activity.

While ole' Mick is a multimillionaire, seems appropriate his criminal behavior should cost him dearly in terms of his professional compensation package during the time of his criminal activity, though.  No?  After all, this writer worked for nothing during the same time period under survival conditions, largely due to Henniger's criminal behavior.  … To say nothing of advertising income lost should this writer had the opportunity to properly take care of business, --instead of hunting a hacker.

Seems fitting, therefore, financial compensation to this writer should result in what would amount to ultimate forfeiture of at least a year and ten months of his salary and perquisites in retribution for his outrageously sick criminal behavior.  In other words, he should have, and would, have ultimately worked for nothing.  Exactly, as this writer.  Exquisitely poetic justice, no?  … Not holding my breath, however.  -- After all, true justice no longer exists in our country.

Amusingly, thought early on Burnet County Deputy Bill Featherston did not have the intellectual wherewithal to successfully execute such crimes, -- despite the fact all evidence initially pointed to him.  No longer does.  There is no doubt Henniger is the perpetrator.  Took well over a year of extremely intense effort to determine this.

Furthermore, to confirm months of uncompensated effort and ensure exposure of the true culprit, deliberately and severely rattled the engineer's cage shortly after the Liberty In Peril site was constructed.  He foolishly took the bait, repeatedly taking the site down, stupidly leaving a trail.  Even foolishly and unlawfully intercepted a carefully crafted email exchange with a server tech.

Shortly after his last series of criminal hacking attacks, however, this writer was seriously injured in an unrelated motorhome fire.  … Incidentally, a man named Ken, a member of your church and an employee at the Exxon Food Mart on Hwy 261, promised to speak to you at the time regarding badly-needed assistance, but apparently never followed through.  … Or, possibly, your church indeed had no interest.

Regardless, after a considerable amount of additional time and effort expended due to the fire and medical problems immediately after the hacker's most recent criminal online activity earlier this spring, there is no doubt Henniger is the perpetrator of both series of attacks.

With private funding pending, seriously considering re-starting this publication shortly, -- despite nagging medical problems.  At the very least, have to correct the record regarding Featherston.  Although an "officer" with a colorful history indeed possessing an amusing inability to tell the truth in even the most mundane of matters, turns out he did not hack the sites.  Henniger did.

There is also a matter of the criminal implications resulting.  Kindly understand a complaint has not yet been filed against Henniger with the U.S. Attorney, or a civil suit, due to the collateral damage that would occur to the engineer's family.

People, who have treated this writer extremely well and do not deserve to be punished in any way for Henniger's exceptionally sick criminal behavior.  -- Seems dear ole' Mick has serious problems controlling grossly irrational anger.  Should this matter not be settled before the statute of limitations expires on the first series of attacks, however, a complaint will be filed with the U.S. Attorney.

While federal officials may or may not prosecute, as well as the fact this writer may never see a dime of compensatory damages from an exceptionally greedy white collar thug, he will be relentlessly and tirelessly exposed for the criminal he truly is.

Interestingly, the Henniger family filed paperwork with the Buchanan Dam Post Office indicating they intend to return Jan. 9, 2004.  This conflicts, however, with statements made by their neighbors, conversely indicating the move is permanent.

If Henniger, however, does not return and the paperwork turns out to be fraudulent, a complaint will be filed with the Postal Inspector.  … The family may have falsely filed forwarding paperwork to frustrate relatively easy access to information regarding their new address.  In other words, making it considerably more difficult and time consuming to determine their current residence.  … Not impossible, however.

Amusingly, seems dear ole' Mick gutlessly abandoned two local estates to foolishly run to Hawaii to avoid and escape criminal culpability and personal responsibility for his crimes.  Equally comical, this criminal thug hypocritically and phonily regularly got down on bended knee on Sunday in your church to thank God for his good fortune.  … Only, to later laugh his financially portly gluteus maximus off all the way to the bank.  While perversely committing at least nine criminal hacking attacks.  Pointedly, the "Christian" thing to do, no?

-- Remarkably, a man who also honestly and candidly asserted to this writer he has serious problems as a scientist and engineer accepting the divinity of Christ.  Yet, skillfully and craftily constructed an impressive website for your church, edited a remarkably glitzy Bible verses CD, and provided rent-free accommodations to you and your family for quite some time.  Fascinating, isn't it?

… All, despite freely admitted misgivings regarding your stance and that of church elders in defense of church principles and doctrine.  … A hypocrite?  No more than a wolf in sheep's clothing?  True motives?  You decide.  … Regardless, certainly no end to the amusement in life, is there, Pastor?

Re:  Mick Henniger

February 23, 2004

Dear Sir or Madam:

For quite some time and as you may be aware, Momentum and Mick Henniger engaged in a mutually beneficial business relationship involving provision of Internet access.   Sadly, however, Henniger is not what he appears to be.

As should be indicated on Momentum server logs, this writer had been getting online daily in the workshop at the Henniger Boulder Dr. residence, and occasionally at his Lyon's St. estate.  Serious consideration of the enclosed letter to Cisco Systems, Inc. CEO John Chambers should be made.

Henniger betrayed this writer, hacking into three Llano Ledger websites a total of five times a little over two years ago.  In addition, the publication, now called Liberty In Peril, was hacked an additional four times shortly after launch last year.  -- After which, the highly gifted engineer withdrew Internet access to this writer.  … Access, he had "generously" provided since just before the original attacks.  Fascinating, isn't it?

Dear ole' Mick skillfully made the first series of attacks look like they originated from the Herman Brown Library in Burnet.

Kindly understand the significance.  Local authorities conveniently and gutlessly ignored a felony complaint made against one of their officers.  Yet, no investigation.  Absolutely, no response to this writer's correspondence.  Not even a denial.  Nothing.  Consequently, well over an additional year was spent trying to nail the culprit.  … A job, corrupt local government refused to do, -- wouldn't and didn't even cynically bother to falsely claim it had no jurisdiction.  Did no more than stonewall.  Apparently, to protect its collective gluteus maximus.  … And an officer it apparently believed to be guilty.

While there is indeed no doubt now Mick is responsible for the hacking, it is not yet clear whether his criminal activity is the result of a sick mind, -- or done at the behest of local authorities.  Disturbingly, Henniger may have received special treatment from Llano County Sheriff Nathan Garrett regarding a permit for a fully automatic M-16 assault rifle.  … Foolishly, the wayward engineer earlier complained to this writer of the length of time it supposedly took Garrett to grant the permit.

While the above may be only coincidental, it should be carefully considered and viewed in context of the following circumstances: Our corrupt and abusive Sheriff has repeatedly been targeted by this publication over the last five years.  Sadly, the equally targeted corrupt and abusive District Attorney, Sam Oatman, conveniently dismissed a jail-rape indictment years ago to protect Garrett's gluteus maximus.  … And the good ole' boys who run and own the jail.

While it is not clear whether or not this writer will be granted access to Henniger's permit application via the Public Information Act, the U.S. Attorney will certainly have no problems doing the same as part of a criminal investigation.

The matter regarding the permit certainly needs to be carefully explored since this writer was deliberately denied First Amendment rights as a result of receiving the boot from both the Burnet and Llano County Library Systems.  … In a naked attempt by local officials to control publication content and blistering criticism.

It is not yet clear, however, whether or not Henniger may have been operating at the behest of Llano and/or Burnet County officials.  If not, he's just a mentally ill puppy.  If part of a larger group, any officials involved must be exposed.

Sadly, the hacking issue has not been settled.  My publication has incurred financial losses as a result of Henniger's criminal activity, as well as two years wasted professionally and personally trying to nail this pathetically sick criminal, -- and sad excuse for a human being.  -- Who perversely and in a highly convoluted manner betrayed a friend.  … Although certainly no Christ, a modern day Judas.

Regardless, expect to be extremely well-compensated financially for the losses, however.  -- Over two years, and counting, wasted determinedly trying to expose this exceptionally wily white-collar criminal for what he is.  While Henniger stands to lose all he has if prosecuted and sued civilly, this writer does not wish his family to suffer unduly for his outrageously sick criminal activity.

Precisely, why he has not been sued, nor has a criminal complaint been filed with the U.S. Attorney, -- yet.  On January 18, 2004, however, Henniger confronted this writer regarding the continuing accusations.  Amusingly, disingenuously claimed his wife was unaware he had finally made the visit.  … Until after the fact.

Laughably, this outrageous criminal asked this writer to retract all accusations, -- or he would contact an attorney.  Quickly, he was immediately and firmly informed the letters and accusations would continue unabated and that a criminal complaint would be filed in due course with the U.S. Attorney.

Furthermore, he was urged to contact, not only his attorney, but also the Sheriff, District Attorney, U.S. Attorney, FBI, and any other party he so chose.  Sadly, this outrageous criminal still continues to refuse to take responsibility for his actions.

Amusingly, could not explain why he suddenly renewed the long expired llanoledger.com domain name using his credit card, -- within an hour of illegally intercepting an email to the Liberty In Peril server tech regarding his criminal hacking activity and the fact this writer was closing in on him.

Would not even acknowledge the domain name renewal email on a Cisco email account was indeed his.  Claimed he would have "to check."  Five weeks later, the white-collar thug is still gutlessly "checking."  No more, than cowardly and egregiously stonewalling.  Fascinating, isn't it?

Again, local officials, to date however, have self-servingly refused to investigate repeated hacking activity on Llano Ledger and Liberty In Peril websites.  Nor have they answered any related complaint correspondence from this writer.  The stonewalling from all has been truly magnificent.  Unification, at its absolute best, no?  Joking aside, any local "investigation", however, would have been no more than kangaroo in nature and less than worthless.

While it is not yet clear whether or not the U.S. Attorney will investigate and prosecute Mr. Henniger, this writer will do all he can to publicly expose this sick hacker for the criminal he truly is.  Regardless of any personal consequences.

Without question, the public must be protected from this white-collar thug.  An ill, unstable, criminal predator who will irrationally strike again.  Doing the same or worse to others when angered, crossed, or after losing an argument or debate.

A sad reality, the community must be made aware of.  Especially, since Henniger continues to cowardly stonewall, remains defiantly unaccountable, refuses to take personal responsibility for his crimes, and is glaringly unwilling to make amends.

Sincerely,

Dear Mr. James:

Apparently, the Henniger family has retained the services of your firm to sell their property located at 332 Boulder Drive, Buchanan Dam.  Kindly be advised, Mick Henniger is a white-collar criminal who is apparently being protected and coddled by local authorities.  Burnet and Llano County officials, as well as the District Attorney, are aware Mr. Henniger has engaged in criminal hacking activities from January of 2002 until at least March of last year.

Kindly find enclosed, earlier letters to Momentum and Cisco that detail the nature of Henniger's criminal behavior and provide insight as to why local officials have conveniently looked the other way.  For months, this criminal has been afforded every opportunity to accept personal responsibility for his crimes, and make amends.

Amusingly to date, Henniger has cowardly declined to do so. -- Apparently, it's easier to run.  … First to Hawaii, now, apparently once again.  With patience wearing extremely thin, however, it will soon be finally time to file a criminal complaint with the U.S. Attorney.  Sadly, the problem extends to, and may intimately involve, local officials, -- including the District Attorney.   Regardless, Henniger remains more than willing to risk his freedom and all he has to continue stonewalling, possibly in an effort to protect these very same local officials.

At the very least, their indifference has aided and abetted criminal activity in direct violation of their oaths of office.  At the worst, the hacker may have operated at their behest, -- in an effort to deliberately silence relentless, blistering, excruciating criticism of government.  Only an outside independent investigation has a snowball's chance of determining whether or not Henniger operated alone.

The First Amendment has been under assault by local officials for at least five years since launch of The Llano Ledger, -- in an effort to protect their collective gluteus maximi.  No question, they are pitifully incapable of investigating or policing themselves.  Sadly, Mr. James, we do indeed have the best government money can buy.  Aren't we lucky?  Then again, we do get what we deserve, don't we?  Our cowardly silence demands it.

Sincerely,

Re:  Criminal Activity-Mick Henniger

May 20, 2004

Dear Sir or Madam:

Thought you might find the attached letter to Jesse James of Jesse James Real Estate, regarding the criminal activity of your neighbor Mick Henniger, to be of interest.  Apparently, Mr. Henniger is once again desperately eluding responsibility for his criminal hacking behavior through sale of his long-term residence.

The letter to Mr. James is one of a series to Henniger's employer, pastor, Internet Service Provider, local officials, neighbors, and others.  Upon exhaustion of litigation, all correspondence will be published in its entirety on the Liberty In Peril website.

A letter to Momentum has also been attached to provide some indication of just how convoluted Henniger's criminal behavior became, -- and why local officials conveniently looked the other way.  If interested, would be more than willing to send additional material for your perusal.

Unless and until Mr. Henniger finally accepts personal responsibility and provides full restitution for his crimes, this issue will remain unresolved and continue to follow him, -- no matter where he's employed or resides.

Regardless of possible prosecution and/or civil litigation of and against the hacker, this sick cowardly criminal must and will be publicly exposed for what he is.  While no criminal complaint to date has been filed with federal authorities and it is not yet clear whether Henniger will be prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney, the public must be fully informed so they may protect themselves from this white collar thug and criminal predator.
